- 0:18Speaker 1: Good morning. Thank you for joining us again today.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I hope you were with us yesterday as we started
- 0:23Speaker 2: kind of talking about the fog and how fog comes
- 0:26Speaker 2: in and kind of gave that a spiritual perception from
- 0:30Speaker 2: that analogy this morning. We talk a little bit more
- 0:33Speaker 2: about that when we go beyond the fog. Yesterday we
- 0:35Speaker 2: were talking about fog of all things and the fact
- 0:39Speaker 2: that Fog has a way of making everything feel closer
- 0:43Speaker 2: than it really is. If you think about that, it
- 0:46Speaker 2: limits our vision. It hides things that we're familiar with, landmarks,
- 0:52Speaker 2: like if we're driving down the road. It even causes
- 0:55Speaker 2: us to question the roads that we've traveled many times before.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I know I travel a road every day that I've
- 1:01Speaker 2: traveled since I began to drive, and even beyond that
- 1:04Speaker 2: when I rode with my parents and other people. And yet,
- 1:07Speaker 2: sometimes the fog is so thick that I question which
- 1:11Speaker 2: way the road turns. And when we look at that,
- 1:14Speaker 2: the one thing we must always remember is that the
- 1:17Speaker 2: fog is always temporary. It may settle in for a while,
- 1:21Speaker 2: but eventually it lifts. And what was hidden becomes visible again.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So life has seasons like that as well.
- 1:29Speaker 1: We talked last week a lot about seasons.
- 1:31Speaker 2: And there are times when we cannot see where God
- 1:36Speaker 2: is leading us. but we know that He is leading us.
- 1:41Speaker 2: We pray, but the answers don't seem to be as
- 1:43Speaker 2: clear as we would like them to be. We search
- 1:46Speaker 2: for direction. Every road appears concealed or even foggy to us.
- 1:52Speaker 2: We may even begin to wonder if we are somehow
- 1:56Speaker 2: missing God's turn or wandering away from the path that
- 2:00Speaker 2: He has planned for us. All those things kind of
- 2:03Speaker 2: go through our minds when we can't see God's plan
- 2:06Speaker 2: very clearly.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I've been there. I know you probably have been there too.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But I want to tell you this morning, the absence
- 2:12Speaker 2: of clarity does not mean the absence of God. Listen
- 2:16Speaker 2: to Isaiah 42 and verse number 16 this morning. It says,
- 2:20Speaker 2: And I will bring the blind by a way that
- 2:23Speaker 2: they know not. I will lead them in paths that
- 2:27Speaker 2: they have not known. I will make darkness light before
- 2:31Speaker 2: them and crooked things straight. I want to tell you
- 2:36Speaker 2: this morning, sometimes the Lord allows us to walk through
- 2:39Speaker 2: the fog.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Just to teach us to trust His voice more than
- 2:45Speaker 1: our own vision. I want you to get that this morning.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Because if we could always see the entire road ahead,
- 2:52Speaker 2: faith would not seem as necessary to us all the time.
- 2:55Speaker 2: We would simply follow what is visible, what we could see.
- 2:59Speaker 1: What we could navigate through. But when the road.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Disappears from view, What happens is we learn to take
- 3:06Speaker 2: the next step slower because we know we must yield
- 3:10Speaker 2: to the voice of.
- 3:11Speaker 1: The one who is leading us.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I have a word for someone in particular this morning.
- 3:17Speaker 2: The Spirit has really pressed this on me. I don't
- 3:19Speaker 2: know your name. I don't know who it is. But
- 3:21Speaker 2: I want you to listen real closely to what the
- 3:23Speaker 2: Lord is trying to tell you this morning. Beyond the fall,
- 3:27Speaker 2: God is already preparing a way for you. The answer
- 3:31Speaker 2: you have been praying for May already be taking shape.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You just can't see it yet. And the door you
- 3:37Speaker 1: need to walk through. It may already be opening. Just
- 3:40Speaker 1: look for it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And the strength it will require for tomorrow. Is already
- 3:47Speaker 2: being supplied to you today. So don't get caught up
- 3:51Speaker 2: in what you can't see. Focus on what you can
- 3:55Speaker 2: see the Lord doing. One day you will look back.
- 4:00Speaker 2: At this very foggy season in your life. From the
- 4:03Speaker 2: other side. And you will recognize the places where God
- 4:07Speaker 2: protected you. He redirected you. He carried you when you
- 4:12Speaker 2: thought you were walking all by yourself. And what felt
- 4:15Speaker 2: confusing today. Will eventually become one of the clearest testimonies
- 4:20Speaker 2: of God's faithfulness.
- 4:22Speaker 1: In your entire life. Somebody ought to shout hallelujah to
- 4:25Speaker 1: that this morning. So.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Do not allow a temporary lack of visibility. To make
- 4:32Speaker 2: you abandon the path that God has placed before you.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Just wait for him. The fog will lift. Slow down
- 4:40Speaker 2: if you need to. Pray a little longer if you
- 4:42Speaker 2: need to.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Listen more carefully. But keep moving. Keep moving forward by faith.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Because the fog will lift. The road will become clear again.
- 4:53Speaker 2: And when it does, you'll discover that God was not
- 4:57Speaker 2: only waiting for you beyond the fog.
- 4:59Speaker 1: He was walking with you every step of the way.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Today you be safe, you be strong, and you be blessed.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And you listen to what the Lord is trying to
- 5:09Speaker 2: tell you this morning. Because beyond the fog, there's a
- 5:13Speaker 2: blessing waiting for you. Lord's will, we'll see you back
- 5:16Speaker 2: here again tomorrow. Until then, I sure hope you have
- 5:20Speaker 2: a great day.
