- 0:11SPEAKER_00: I encourage us to live out our faith, to grow, and to believe in the calling that God has for us.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: My vision is to help women break the chains of their past of inner struggles and fears to create new chapters that only our Father can write for us.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: I'm on a mission and passion to empower you and all the women out there.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: This is going to be your new favorite podcast for daily devotionals and Bible study chats.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, today is episode 41.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad you're here to listen.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And um, so today is called He Sees Perfection, and um it's really about our self-consciousness and um the way we view ourselves and the way he views us.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Um but before I start anything, I always like to start us off in prayer.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up every single listener to you right now, Father.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: I just pray that you open their heart, that you open their mind, that you fill them up with your Holy Spirit, um, that this message today, Father, that you speak to them, Father, that whatever it is um that they're meant to hear, Father, that it will lay on their heart, that they will be um convicted and encouraged to um make a change and to take something and to put it in their heart forever and so that they continue to walk differently.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Um and they don't just hear the word, but they will obey the word.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: So, um, I'm gonna start off this message by a testimony of mine.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Um I know the last episode was just a testimony, but um but this is something that's actually really hard for me to share.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Um this is I've only really told my husband and um like a friend or two.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Like I literally think three or four people know like in total of what's going on.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I posted a snippet of my emotions on on an Instagram story.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: The Lord just kind of led me to um just kind of use my weakness and you know, let his power show through that.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: And so I very vaguely um made a Instagram story the other day about um how you know his power is perfect in our weakness.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: But anyway, the Lord's been really helping me overcome this issue that I've really been battling with, and it's something that like I said, it's just really hard to talk about.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: However, I r last week, um during that time that I posted that little snippet on Instagram, the Lord really was speaking to me, and when I invited him to do that workout with me, he um was spoke to me this verse, and he said in 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 9, he was saying this to me.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: He was encouraging me to share what I've been going through and letting him work through my weakness and basically kind of encouraging me to share this testimony, this story with everyone.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Um, and really letting his beautiful power and his love work through my brokenness.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'm sure at this point you're asking, like, alright Amber, what's going on?
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Um, I've been having really bad dys body dysmorphia issues lately.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um so those of you who don't know, or maybe you do, whatever, let's just let's just paint the picture and show you what's going on.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: So I recently had a baby, she's nine months old.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I've honestly been super great during the postpartum because of the Lord.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: He's really carried me through everything.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Um but lately I've been really hard on my body.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: I am the heaviest I've ever been, and that's really weighing on me.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Um actually not now, I've lost like ten pounds, but um a couple months ago I I weighed in and I was like, dude, I I could feel I could feel it, I could see it.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I'm the heaviest I've ever been.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Um a few years ago I was my heaviest and um I woke up one day and I was gonna get married like within that year and I was like, I've gotta change.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I no longer want to look like this anymore.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And I dropped fifty fifty-five pounds.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I felt great.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: It was a lifestyle change.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: I continued to um, you know, this lifestyle changed for a really long time.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I, you know, worked out at a health at healthy, kind of was in a, you know, maintenance phase for a really long time.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Um, I got pregnant, I was super scared that I was gonna get really big.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: I was super self-conscious about my body the entire time I was pregnant.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: I always felt huge.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: I feel like every pregnant woman does, right?
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Um, I continued doing yoga and going up for walks and doing very like, you know, small workouts that I could do and keeping up on my water, you know.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I was really trying.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: And looking back at pictures, I really did look good.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And obviously in the moment I didn't feel it, but I definitely really didn't gain any um I didn't really gain a lot of weight.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: I would say I probably gained 20, 15, not even.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: I want to say like most of it was baby.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: I maybe gained like 10-15 pounds in like fat.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Um, and when I had her, like the Lord, I I will say I prayed um for a really good postpartum recovery.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: I had a C-section and was recovered literally in five days.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: I was walking around acting completely normal, like like I wasn't sore at all, I didn't have any restrictions, nothing.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Five days from the time I had her, I was only in the hospital for like a day and a half, came home, um, was fine within three, maybe four days um of being home.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: And that's all the Lord.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: Um, and anyway, so I really dropped that weight quick.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Like I was I was pretty much back to my starting weight of what I was right before I got pregnant.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Um and so I was feeling okay, I was feeling good.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: And then, well, I was breastfeeding, and let's let's just be honest, I gained weight and I gained a lot of it.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I was not sleeping, I wasn't eating good, I was breastfeeding, my body was retaining everything, and next thing I know, I look in the mirror and I'm the biggest I've ever been, and I'm the biggest that I was when I looked at myself in the mirror about three, four years ago and said, I'm never gonna be back there again.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Here I was, here I was, there again.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Um, so yeah.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Uh body dysmorphia, crazy.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be in any pictures.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I don't want any pictures taken of me.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: I'm depressed about the way I look.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Um lately, I about a month or two ago I decided to get back in the gym and I have dropped 10 pounds um about two months ago now, and um, yeah, so I definitely am glad that I'm not at my heaviest, but I'm still pretty heavy um compared to what I once was, and that hurts.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And um, so the devil has really come been coming at me, and I've been really depressed about it.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: I I put on a shirt, it's tight, you know.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I do the next size up if it's better, but it's the next size up, you know, and that hurts to look at that size.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Um but I stopped eating.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: I was like, Oh, I'm just not gonna eat, I'm just gonna starve myself.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: I'm just you know, I'm too fat to eat, you're too fat to eat, I would tell myself.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: You don't want to get fat, don't eat.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: You know, I'll just be skinny.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: I feel skinny.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And that's how it's been.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: I'm depressed about it.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Honestly.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: I don't really want to eat.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: I cave in, you know, during a very stressful life here and there and I have pizza when I didn't take any, you know, meat out of the freezer and you know, all the things, right?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And uh so I cave in, you know, every once in a while when your life is busy and you have takeout or whatever, and when I do that it's very like I beat myself up for it like crazy.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: And um when I got to the point a couple weeks ago that I was not gonna eat, and I told myself, like, oh you don't have to eat.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: And I would literally eat like one meal, small meal the day, and a few snacks like a cheese stick and a rice crispy treat, and that was it.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Except for like a small dinner.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Um and that wasn't healthy, and I knew that, but and I knew it was the devil, but I couldn't get out of it.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: It didn't make it any easier.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I every day I woke up and look in the mirror, I'm like, I hate myself.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Um and so I was in the gym one day, and um I've been kind of stagnant, my weight, so that's also been like really hitting me hard.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: And I was in the gym one day and I've really been inviting the Lord to work out with me.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: It's been beautiful, by the way, must I add.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: Um, just the way the Lord encourages you, speaks to you, sits with you, really pushes you through the workout, he kind of takes the pain away.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: That's beside the point.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Um but he was really weighing on my heart that I'm viewing my body differently.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Like he was like, you know, you used to be so good about it, you were, you know.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Now this is my own words, right?
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: Like obviously the Lord does not talk to us this way, but you know, um, reminding me of how I need to speak to myself because I did used to be pretty good about it, and um so I had a he was really reminding me that I needed switch my thinking.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Um and then recently I was on my way to work and there was a song called Perfection.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Um on it's by like it's by church of something.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Um so that song came on, I just started crying.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: And as the this you know, I'm singing it, I'm listening to the lyrics, and I realized, and he just started speaking to me like crazy heavy on the way to work.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, this is great.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Let's have a you know, whole cry therapy session on the way to work, Lord.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm gonna get my life together in five minutes, but it's okay.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: No.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: Um, literally, but um, it was great and beautiful and helpful and changing and life-changing.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Um, he was meeting me where I was.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: He wasn't correcting me in a in a stern way, in a bad way, in an aggressive way, not even in an assertive way, really, um, for treating, you know, like correcting me for treating my my body wrong and his creation wrong, right?
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: But what he did tell me was this, and he used other people to tell me, he used the song to tell me, he would whisper it to me while I was working out, he would say, you know, Psalms 139, 14, which is very famous, you're fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: And he just just whispered that to me.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: So sweet, so soft, on you know, on his voice.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: And you know, when we uh see each and every flaw with our bodies every time we look in the mirror, we pick apart our face, our fingers, our arms, our feet.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Whatever, right?
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: We're girls.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: He sees perfection.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: He says, I made you.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: You're perfect.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: I made you.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Don't doubt what I made.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: You're beautiful.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: You're fine.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: You're you're gorgeous.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Don't beat yourself up.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: He says, You're perfect perfect.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: I made you.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: I think you're perfect.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: And you know, even when we fail, we feel not enough.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: We think we don't measure up to where we should be.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: You know, especially as moms, not even in a body dysmorphia way, but like you know, we fail.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe we were supposed to reach out to somebody and pray for them and we failed, or you know, maybe we haven't really done the ministry in the past couple weeks 'cause we've just been struggling in life.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: And maybe, you know, we feel like we haven't been measuring up our godly character, has been slacking 'cause we've just been so tired.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: You know, or we've been depressed about our body and the way we look.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And we just we don't think we measure up.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And all those things, and we see flaw after flaw after flaw after flaw.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: He sees a masterpiece.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: He sees perfection, he sees our beautiful heart, he sees that we're perfect.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: He sees this beauty that we don't see.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: And I want to pray with you and I want together to ask him to help us see what he sees, right?
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: Just like that song, we don't see what he sees, our eyes are broken.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And so I want you to take this moment with me.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna lead us out in prayer for a minute.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: And I really just encourage you to um really deeply take this moment to pray and to be honest and raw and vulnerable with the Lord and really tell him, you know, how you're feeling.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Dear Lord, I can't trust my human eyes.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: I'm having a hard time seeing what you see.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Help me please see what you see.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Help me see myself through your eyes.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: I can't do it without you.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Let me see myself the way you see me.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Teach me to love myself.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see myself the way I do.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see every flaw.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I don't want to beat myself up.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be depressed about the way that I look.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be down about myself about the things that I failed.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Lord, but I can't do it without you.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Help me.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: Help me.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Pull me out of this mess of the thoughts that I have.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Put some glasses on so that I can see through your vision and your eyes how you view me.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: He helped me rewire my thinking the past week.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: And it's time that I speak about it.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I've been sitting in it, you know.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: And uh so yeah, it's been changing the way I think, and I really hope that this helps and resonates with you because it's I've been rewiring my thinking.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: You know, it's about me taking care of his masterpiece.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: He says you're fearfully and wonderfully made, and he made us.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: He knit us together in our mother's womb long before we were even thought of.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: He knew what he made.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: He didn't make mistakes.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And if we have children, then our bodies have worshipped him, have sacrificed, have been born again, have been saved, have beared fruit.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: And yeah, you know, we're gonna gain weight.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And it's just it is gonna suck.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: It doesn't feel good, right?
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna sit here and make it seem like it's all peaches and cream, because it's not.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: But it's about us taking care of his masterpiece, taking care of what he made, taking care of his child, because we are his children, taking care of his temple, we are his temple, his holy spirit lives in us.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: We are his church, we are his temple.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: So this is worship.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Taking care of our bodies is worship.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: How do you ask?
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Because we're taking care of what's his, we are what's his.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: Our body is where his Holy Spirit lives, so that is is you know his home, his the Holy Spirit's home, and we're and we're worshiping him by taking care of his creation, taking care of his masterpiece, taking care of his child, taking care of his temple.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: This doesn't mean just taking a bath and putting on a freaking oh my gosh, what's the thing called?
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: A mud mask or a face mask.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: I couldn't think of the word.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Um, no, it's it's about really taking care of our body, taking care of our mental health, taking care of our physical health, taking care of our spiritual health.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: This has helped me with the way that I think and taking every thought captive and fighting it with the word of truth because we are still gonna look at ourselves and be like, dang, I look fat as heck in that shirt.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I look terrible.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: But we have to say, you know what?
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and I can take care of my body.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: As I wrap up, I know today was kind of short.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Um, I was actually gonna make this about something different, but the Lord laid it on my heart to speak about this.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: So here I am, getting vulnerable, getting really raw, and telling you what I've been going through and my truth and my struggle.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: And I guess, you know, in all honesty, this is what we're supposed to do.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: This is what I'm here for, this is what we're here for, as sisters and faith, is to do life together, and so here I am being really honest, doing life with you.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: Um, maybe I don't have the answer on how to, you know, and I'll be all overcome body dysmorphia completely in the way we look at our bodies and ourselves.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: I still don't feel super confident, and I definitely still don't really love the way my body looks.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: I still feel fat.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: That's the truth.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: I am because you know, in the doctor's light, my BMI is high, right?
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: But what I do know is that I'm not defined by that.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: God sees me for my heart, for my love, for my kindness, for my goodness, for my obedience, for my patience, for my self-control.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: He sees the way I want to help, the way I want to serve, the way I have on fire for him faith.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: And he loves me the way that I am.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And I know that I can do better by speaking kindly of his temple, by speaking kindly of his creation, of speaking kindly to my body, which he made fearfully and wonderfully.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: I know I can work diligently to feed my body healthy food, to nourish it, to fuel it, and I'm not gonna beat myself up for that one pizza on a Thursday afternoon, a Thursday evening because I had to go grocery shopping and I didn't take meat out of the freezer, so I'm making something quick.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not gonna do that.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Because it's a lifelong journey to be healthy and to take care of our body.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: But I know overall I can I can eat healthy, I can make healthier choices, so that I have a strong, healthy body, that I can take care of it.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I know that I can stay active, I know that I can get in the gym, I know that I can work out, so that my body is strong, that my body is equipped, that my heart health is equipped, that my cardiovascular strength is good, that if I have to run a mile after my child, then I can, right?
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Not the point, but the point is that I can be healthy, that I can take care of his creation, that I can have a healthy bottom body, and and honestly, in the eyes of a mother, those of you who are mothers or are going to be a mother one day, I hope you see it like this, like you're taking care of your body out of love for yourself, out of love for what God has created in you, and you take care of it because you want your child and your children to take care of themselves like that.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: You want them to see themselves like that, you want them to have that confidence, you want them to love their body, and you want to get old, and you want to live old, and you want to pass down your legacy.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: And in order to do that, we have to take care of his temple.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: And I know that there's gonna be days you don't feel great, there's gonna be days that your clothes don't fit right, there's gonna be days that you feel like you don't look good in anything, you know.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: I especially can say that I for some reason always have wardrobe crises on church Sunday mornings.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: I'm always trying to look cute, and I never does.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: I know that I can take one day at a time, and one of my favorite scriptures, and the Lord has um recently said this to me Matthew chapter 6, there's verse 34.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worry in its own.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Today's troubles are enough for today.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: Take one day at a time, focus on today.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Today's doing a better day.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: You know, we keep taking every thought captive, we keep fighting it with the truth, that's all we can do.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: I want you to know that you're not alone, it's a constant battle.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: But not only is Jesus here for you, but so am I.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: If you ever need anybody to hold you accountable.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: To support you on the days that feel harder than most.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Know that I'm here for you.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Know that you can always find me.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: You can always reach out to me.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: I will always be there for you.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: I will always pray with you.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: I want to wrap us up in prayer.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: Dear Father, I pray over every single listener.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Father, I lift them up to you whatever that it is that they're struggling with, whatever it is that they're self-conscious about, whether it's their body.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Whether it's them not feeling enough, whether it's their mental health, their physical health.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's even their spiritual health.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Whatever area that they really feel like you've been speaking to them about today that they know they're struggling with, Father, I lift them up to you.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Each and every single one.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Individually.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: I lift them up to you.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Father, I pray that you heal them.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: You love them.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Give them grace.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: You give them the love that you've been giving me, the beautiful whispers, the beautiful love, the beautiful reminders that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Father, I just pray a protection over them as they continue to fight their battle, continue to take every thought captive in the word of truth.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Have rebuke that demonic attack over them that is trying to tell them otherwise.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And I pray their safety wherever they go, wherever they travel.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: And mostly I pray for their salvation.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: I pray for their love for you, that it will grow into beautiful lengths.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: One more thing, because salvation is the most important thing.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: And I just want to open up this opportunity for you to pray this.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've prayed it before and you've strayed away from the Lord.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe it's been years, maybe it's been months, who knows?
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Whatever it is in your life.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've never prayed salvation.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe you know you you stumbled across my podcast and you really like that, you know, the episode, and you know, maybe the God has been knocking on your heart and he's been calling you to build a relationship with him and to love him.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: Then I want to open up this opportunity in prayer.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna um lead us out in prayer.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: You can say it to yourself out loud, whether you say it in your head, I don't care.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: Um I encourage you to pray salvation.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Even if you've already prayed salvation, it's kind of like renewing your vows.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: You can never pray it one too many times.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: You can always renew it.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: So uh I encourage you to pray this with me.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Dear Heavenly Father, I'm sorry for living my life without you.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I repent for sinning against you, and I repent for not walking in every step with you.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: I do believe and I do trust that Jesus died on the cross for my sins.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: I choose today to invite you into my heart, that from this day forward I will live for you.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: I choose today to do my life with you.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: Lord, please change my heart, please change my life today.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Help my faith grow closer to you.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: I cannot overcome these struggles without you, nor do I want to.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: I can't do it alone, and I need you.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: I need you by my side today and forever.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Alright, guys, thank you so much for listening.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: I feel like today was super emotional, super dense.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Love you guys.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: I don't even have a joke for you, so I was gonna try to come up with one, but I don't.
