- 2:55Speaker 1: healed slowly. Her novels off of with passion, drama, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: raw emotion, center around complicated love, personal growth, and the

- 3:57Speaker 1: That is great? So tell us something about yourself that
- 4:04Speaker 1: you did not include in your bio.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I love hiking. I love you so yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 1: See you're an outdoor girls.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Ye yes, I am. I love being outside. I love
- 4:25Speaker 2: being dirty outside though outside, I love being in the woods.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I am very an interest.
- 4:34Speaker 1: You're not scanning them things out there? Oh my god?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yo? No, no, no, not really.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I guess, beautiful. I guess I'm a true city girl,
- 4:48Speaker 1: because nope, I can't do woods. I don't even like
- 4:55Speaker 1: driving and seeing a bunch of trees. No, I'm sorry,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but I get you. I get you hiking. Yeah, that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: something lyons and tires and bears, O mine, That's what
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'd like to say. So, so when did you write
- 5:15Speaker 1: your first story or book?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Okay? So I wrote my first story in twenty eighteen
- 5:23Speaker 2: and twenty nineteen, and I sent it around to some
- 5:26Speaker 2: of my friends and some of them read it and
- 5:29Speaker 2: some of them didn't. And I just left it because
- 5:31Speaker 2: I was just like, oh, like, I want to be
- 5:32Speaker 2: an author one day and I just left it. And
- 5:35Speaker 2: then last year I picked it back up because my
- 5:38Speaker 2: therapist was like, you know, just bet on yourself, and
- 5:41Speaker 2: I did, and it just lit a fire up under
- 5:44Speaker 2: me and I published that one.
- 5:47Speaker 1: So yeah, okay, okay, hey, can you tell us the
- 5:51Speaker 1: title if you're very first one?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yes, So the first title is she was Street? I
- 5:57Speaker 2: mean she was soft and he was Street. That's the
- 6:00Speaker 2: first book that I have written, and that one is
- 6:04Speaker 2: doing really really well.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Okay. Okay, So your therapist said, you know, go out
- 6:13Speaker 1: there and show who you are, be who you are.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Is that a part of your goals for your writing
- 6:20Speaker 1: career or can you tell us any goals that you
- 6:23Speaker 1: may have for your writing career.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yes, so some of my goals for my writing career is, honestly,
- 6:29Speaker 2: my gifts is gonna make room for me. And I
- 6:32Speaker 2: don't know where I'm gonna go with with with this,
- 6:36Speaker 2: but I I don't know, like I'm really just excited,
- 6:39Speaker 2: Like I haven't even completed my first year. June will
- 6:44Speaker 2: be my first year, so that's that was my first year.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And I can definitely say like I don't know, like
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm I'm just excited. I honestly cannot say I don't.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I'm excited for the unknown.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Ooh see, I like that, excited for the unknown. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: like that because a lot of people run from the
- 7:06Speaker 1: unknown and you're excited about it.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yes, I am very very excited about the unknown. I
- 7:12Speaker 2: feel like you just sometimes I have to get out
- 7:13Speaker 2: of the driver's seat and let God just be in
- 7:15Speaker 2: the driver seat, and he gonna let you be a
- 7:18Speaker 2: passenger precess. So that's why I'm at right now. I'm
- 7:20Speaker 2: just a passenger precess.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Listen here, you are so true God. See that's how
- 7:25Speaker 1: I got into this seat right here. I got out
- 7:29Speaker 1: God to see and became that pass the Princess and
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm still holding on. I'm like, okay, God, I don't
- 7:34Speaker 1: know how far we're going with this, but I don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: want you to slow down because you ease up a
- 7:39Speaker 1: little bit, just just a tag. And when you tell
- 7:42Speaker 1: him that, he said, oh, you want me to ease up,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and he just goes for.
- 7:47Speaker 2: How bad you wannna go.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Like, no, Jesus, don't just slow down. I don't understand
- 7:52Speaker 1: slow down. I'm going for this.
- 7:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I love that. I love that. I love that. So
- 7:59Speaker 1: are you what a publishing house or are you independent?
- 8:04Speaker 2: I am independent? So I published through Amazon KDP, which
- 8:10Speaker 2: is really really easy for me and it's accessible. I
- 8:15Speaker 2: will definitely say one of my goals for next year
- 8:18Speaker 2: will try to submit to publishing houses and stuff and
- 8:22Speaker 2: we'll just see where I go with that.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Okay, Because a lot of people they don't know which
- 8:29Speaker 1: one they want to do, So can I ask, why
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't you choose to go independent set of going to
- 8:34Speaker 1: a publishing house first?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Ooh? So I definitely did independent first because I wanted
- 8:41Speaker 2: to actually get a fan base number one. I feel
- 8:44Speaker 2: like you can't go large, you have to start small,
- 8:48Speaker 2: and people have to attach themselves to something. So I
- 8:51Speaker 2: feel as though, if I get a fan base, you know,
- 8:53Speaker 2: just start pushing out books and then after that, see
- 8:58Speaker 2: how it all works. Go to a couple of book
- 9:01Speaker 2: drops and stuff, see how that works, and then try
- 9:05Speaker 2: to hit it big. Well not big, but you know,
- 9:06Speaker 2: try to go to a publishing company and also do
- 9:09Speaker 2: my research. I think now I'm still doing research.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It's very smart, very smart your research. I think a
- 9:17Speaker 1: lot of people get in the industry and thinking that
- 9:20Speaker 1: they about to make millions and millions of dollars off
- 9:23Speaker 1: of their first book. And I'm like, what's your name is? Patterson, Grisham, Ivanovich?
- 9:33Speaker 1: And you name me in your aerctro room, Dickie, Because
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't even think he's made a million dollars off
- 9:37Speaker 1: his book. He might have, she said, she hasn't made
- 9:42Speaker 1: a million dollars over unless you three, you know, just
- 9:46Speaker 1: understand that you're gonna be putting in some work. You know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: now that's book here. No, no, you go ahead, see
- 9:56Speaker 1: what you have to say because we're gonna talk about
- 9:57Speaker 1: this book here.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Oh no, go ahead, go ahead.
- 10:02Speaker 1: So first of all, I'm a cover girl. Now I
- 10:06Speaker 1: make up y'all. Look, well, this right here getting the natural.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But when it comes down to books, I'm a cover girl.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Your cover is very mysterious and leads me to say,
- 10:26Speaker 1: what in the world is behind these pages, especially when
- 10:29Speaker 1: you have that word maize in those red I would
- 10:36Speaker 1: call it bright red, but it might just be a
- 10:38Speaker 1: subtle red color. It just grabs me. And that is
- 10:44Speaker 1: the cutest ends. I'm never he looked at somebody, is
- 10:49Speaker 1: this color? I be looking at the ear like dang.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Literally I'm in the mirror, look you know, but yes,
- 11:00Speaker 1: how did you come up with your cover? We're gonna
- 11:02Speaker 1: bring it after you, guys. You're gonna bring it up
- 11:04Speaker 1: right now.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Okay. So the cover actually, and this is again me
- 11:11Speaker 2: being in these groups and me just you know, scoping
- 11:15Speaker 2: out the scene and stuff, so it's it's different. It
- 11:19Speaker 2: was actually a post that someone had made and I
- 11:21Speaker 2: was at work, so I had saved the post and
- 11:23Speaker 2: I came back, but the lady was like, who makes
- 11:25Speaker 2: pre make covers? And when I came back, I seen
- 11:28Speaker 2: this guy and he's like, oh, I'm having a sell
- 11:31Speaker 2: for five dollar Premike covers and I was like, okay,
- 11:35Speaker 2: I like this cover. Now the cover was not like that.
- 11:38Speaker 2: It wasn't like enhanced, It wasn't like that. So when
- 11:42Speaker 2: I met, I bought it and I messaged messaged him
- 11:47Speaker 2: and I said, Okay, can I get a remake of
- 11:50Speaker 2: the cover and he said, yeah, turn around the time.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's twenty four hours and he said, tell me everything
- 11:55Speaker 2: that you wanted to cover, and I said, okay, cool.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So I within the twenty four hours, I continue to
- 12:01Speaker 2: write to let my writer give me a feel on
- 12:04Speaker 2: how I want the cover. So I just told him
- 12:07Speaker 2: that I wanted it to be enhanced. I didn't. I
- 12:12Speaker 2: gave him the name of the book, and we just
- 12:16Speaker 2: kind of went from there. We just kind of like
- 12:17Speaker 2: piggyback off of each other, back and forth, and the
- 12:20Speaker 2: rest of his covers that he have made for other people,
- 12:23Speaker 2: of other artists and for himself because he's also an
- 12:26Speaker 2: author as well. I was just like, yeah, like, I
- 12:28Speaker 2: think that we're gonna be really good buddies because I
- 12:31Speaker 2: like your covers. So yeah, that's how I made That's
- 12:34Speaker 2: how we created the cover, and that's how we came
- 12:36Speaker 2: up with it. And I think stuck in his maize
- 12:40Speaker 2: that name just kind of came from the story.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So would you like to shot out this author, or
- 12:50Speaker 1: this illustrator or this book designment book cover designer shot.
- 12:57Speaker 2: His name is q J if I'm not mistaken, but yes,
- 13:02Speaker 2: I would definitely actually send this to him after we
- 13:05Speaker 2: get finished. So yeah, he's really really good. Well he
- 13:08Speaker 2: always having discounts on his covers and stuff.
- 13:12Speaker 1: QJ, good job, man. I love the cover. I love
- 13:16Speaker 1: the cover. It's one of those covers where where I work,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I can put the cover out and not have to
- 13:22Speaker 1: worry about you know what, let me go back, see,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I don't have to worry about people being mean. Let's
- 13:30Speaker 1: just put it like that. Okay, but I love that cover. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's one of those covers where I can walk around
- 13:37Speaker 1: and not be like, hey, don't ask me what I'm
- 13:39Speaker 1: reading that you're gonna get you feelings hurt?
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yes, yes, so it gives a little bit curious.
- 13:47Speaker 1: That is great. It is a beautiful cover.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So we are Lizzie and Tommy. Listen and Tommy, yes
- 14:00Speaker 1: her tell us about these two because I really feel
- 14:04Speaker 1: from the little bits and pieces that these two gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: work on my nerve. Yes, you got that. Have reading it,
- 14:11Speaker 1: y'all know me. I got fifty million books going on. Okay,
- 14:14Speaker 1: so I do try to start to read and finish
- 14:18Speaker 1: reading all books that of authors that I have on
- 14:21Speaker 1: my shelf. Who Lizzie and Tommy, Let's get started. What
- 14:27Speaker 1: in the world?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Okay? So, from what I can tell you, Liz is
- 14:33Speaker 2: like this. She's married to Tommy. They've been married for
- 14:38Speaker 2: over ten years. They do not have any kids together,
- 14:41Speaker 2: and she's just like this princess and she she's like, yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I know my husband, I know my husband, but clearly
- 14:47Speaker 2: she does not know her husband. So let's Liz and
- 14:50Speaker 2: then Tommy have been keeping secrets away from his wife,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and as the book go on, it just kind of
- 14:58Speaker 2: reveals itself. So yeah, in a short, sweet answer, because
- 15:02Speaker 2: the book is not that long. It's I think it's
- 15:04Speaker 2: like one hundred and fifty pages or something, so it's
- 15:06Speaker 2: not that long. Now in the book, you'll it'll be
- 15:11Speaker 2: like some pop up characters and you'll just be like hum, okay.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So yeah, So from the little person the little little
- 15:22Speaker 1: pieces that I've read, I literally hear a song by
- 15:26Speaker 1: Drew Hill somebody sleeping in my bed, Like, who is
- 15:29Speaker 1: this person that I'm married? Like ten years? You've been
- 15:38Speaker 1: married to this person and you really tell you truth.
- 15:42Speaker 1: It seems like she really didn't know much about him
- 15:46Speaker 1: when everything started coming out, what work?
- 15:51Speaker 2: She didn't know? Why?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Why? Why you did that? Through Lizzie Man? Why you do?
- 15:58Speaker 2: I felt like so the last book that I wrote
- 15:59Speaker 2: with just so lovey dovey and just so hopeless romantic
- 16:03Speaker 2: because it was a Christmas book and it was just
- 16:05Speaker 2: short short story. It was like fifty pages and that
- 16:08Speaker 2: book was just like so lovey dubby and I was
- 16:10Speaker 2: just like you know what bump love w right now,
- 16:12Speaker 2: Like yeah, so you need to be like, you know
- 16:17Speaker 2: native she was just on her little house.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Break her down, you surely.
- 16:26Speaker 2: But one thing about it in this book, he loves
- 16:29Speaker 2: his wife. And he shows in many ways how he
- 16:32Speaker 2: loved his wife. It's not just one way, like he
- 16:35Speaker 2: shows in different ways. And a lot of people when
- 16:37Speaker 2: they leave comments or they tell me about after they've
- 16:40Speaker 2: read this book, they love the way that Tommy loves Liz.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And I think that that was just a beautiful I
- 16:47Speaker 2: just slay that beautifully.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And when I'm reading this book, okay, and I'm not
- 16:53Speaker 1: a person who wants to put some money in the
- 16:55Speaker 1: genre category, but the reason why I said, this book
- 16:58Speaker 1: is very very very well written, very very not enclosing
- 17:04Speaker 1: this box is because somebody like me who's a lover
- 17:08Speaker 1: of street lit and somebody who loves contemporary. This is
- 17:12Speaker 1: like them two having a baby together. You don't have
- 17:17Speaker 1: much of one and you don't have much of the other.
- 17:20Speaker 1: The street lit is bank robbery part of it. Okay,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm not telling y'all much of this book. Don't even
- 17:25Speaker 1: try to get me into it. Okay. All I can
- 17:28Speaker 1: say is bank robbery. That's where the street lit side
- 17:31Speaker 1: come from. And how she described Lizzie and Tommy in
- 17:36Speaker 1: the relationship they have with the love that's that contemporary.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So I just feel it's a good mixture of both.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Right now, do you feel that I'm on point or
- 17:48Speaker 1: bring me in which one do you feel now?
- 17:51Speaker 2: I feel like you're on point. Definitely on point between
- 17:54Speaker 2: the two, mixing the two, and that was the baby
- 17:56Speaker 2: that they had.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I just love it. It was enough to say, oh, right,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but what else does she have going on? You know
- 18:07Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So let me ask you a question.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So we have Tommy and we have a Lizzie. Do
- 18:20Speaker 1: you feel that you're going to have them come back
- 18:23Speaker 1: again in another book.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Uh no, because that story kind of wraps up. Okay, okay,
- 18:33Speaker 2: it's a short read, so that story wraps up.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I do have a part one and part two, and
- 18:38Speaker 2: the first book is called Things that We Don't Say
- 18:41Speaker 2: and then there's Things that We Can't Undo. Now that one,
- 18:46Speaker 2: you gotta read it. It's about is it four couples
- 18:51Speaker 2: and baby? And when I say drama, drama, yeah, that's
- 18:59Speaker 2: the one. Were you like, girl? Why? She said? Why
- 19:02Speaker 2: she did? Who else is she sleeping with? Yeah?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Don't say it because I hey, listen. I had one author.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I finish reading her book and she gave this plot
- 19:11Speaker 1: twist that came out of nowhere. Her name was. The
- 19:14Speaker 1: book was called Heart Surgery by Money Glove. Okay, you girl,
- 19:20Speaker 1: looking here the things that happened in that book. I
- 19:24Speaker 1: actually sent her a message like twelve thirty A and
- 19:26Speaker 1: I said, I know you ain't up. We just did
- 19:28Speaker 1: the show, But what the devil were you thinking when
- 19:30Speaker 1: you did this to the characters? She was like, oh,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you read that part. Yes, I love those twists and
- 19:38Speaker 1: turns and those question marks. We y'all do it? Love it?
- 19:41Speaker 1: So let me, she questioned, This book is one hundred
- 19:45Speaker 1: and thirty five pages. Now off the show, we were
- 19:49Speaker 1: talking about lengths of books. Okay, do you feel that
- 19:54Speaker 1: the one hundred and thirty five pages did these two characters,
- 19:59Speaker 1: Lizzie and Me justice? Or do you feel like this
- 20:03Speaker 1: is a book that if I wanted to, I can
- 20:06Speaker 1: add more, but that one five is just right? How
- 20:11Speaker 1: do you feel about it?
- 20:12Speaker 2: I feel like it go either way. Like once you
- 20:15Speaker 2: read the rest of the book and you get to
- 20:17Speaker 2: the end, the ending is where I would say I
- 20:20Speaker 2: could pick back up in part two, but it won't
- 20:23Speaker 2: be Tommy and Liz story. They'll just be like friends
- 20:29Speaker 2: of the friends. But you have to read the rest
- 20:31Speaker 2: of the book because I can't tell you the ending
- 20:33Speaker 2: because then you're gonna be like, girl, what the ending
- 20:36Speaker 2: leaves on? So that's the only way that That's why
- 20:40Speaker 2: I say it's like fifty to fifty. That's the only
- 20:42Speaker 2: reason why I would pick it back up to tell
- 20:44Speaker 2: that person's side, and then Tommy and Liz would be
- 20:48Speaker 2: the friends.
- 20:50Speaker 1: They'll be right already, alrighty well Man Nomber we talk
- 20:57Speaker 1: behind see and I was telling you that you know what,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I send you questions. But then there's those fun questions. Yes, well, man,
- 21:10Speaker 1: it is time for the fun question for the fun questions.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So it is time to get in the hot seat.
- 21:17Speaker 1: So are you ready, my friend? Are you ready?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yes?
- 21:22Speaker 1: She's looking at me like I don't know what she's
- 21:23Speaker 1: about to ask me. All right, So we got lifetimes
- 21:30Speaker 1: on the line and lifetimes saying you know what, we
- 21:33Speaker 1: love your book. Okay, So we gotta get our characters together,
- 21:38Speaker 1: all right. So for the character of Tommy, we want
- 21:46Speaker 1: him to be an old school player. So we're talking
- 21:51Speaker 1: about the two thousands and y'all. That's not old school
- 21:56Speaker 1: for me, but just just hear me out. Okay. We
- 22:03Speaker 1: need a two thousands R and b artists who can
- 22:07Speaker 1: play the role of Tommy. Okay, who would you want
- 22:13Speaker 1: to be Tommy? Two thousands R and b artists?
- 22:23Speaker 2: That's a hard one. I don't know, y'all. In the
- 22:25Speaker 2: comments dropped some names because I don't know.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I was gonna Lance Grows.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It's saying gross or something like that. Lance who played
- 22:32Speaker 2: on Tyler Perry House of Pain. I said him, oh Idris, oh,
- 22:39Speaker 2: oh Idris. Yeah, yeah, I can see Idris. I can
- 22:47Speaker 2: see him being Tommy.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, why do you have an Idris.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I don't know who else.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I don't know why, but I was, okay, see, that's
- 23:01Speaker 1: what I was going on.
- 23:03Speaker 2: He is a lovable, a love guy, so I could
- 23:07Speaker 2: definitely see not not Tyrese. No, ma'am, no, no.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I was thinking Tyree said first. I was thinking baby
- 23:15Speaker 1: boy type.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Fine, the way they love her, so you gotta think
- 23:21Speaker 2: I'll be looking at me. So I don't think tyresee,
- 23:26Speaker 2: but I will say tant because.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Oh I never knew how to say his name, Kofeefe.
- 23:36Speaker 2: But the one who played in Queen's Smooth One Taylor. Yes, okay,
- 23:48Speaker 2: that's okay, so we have him, Yeah, we got him.
- 23:51Speaker 1: We have kofe. Yeah, so kofee is going to see now,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I said, R and B you guys.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yes, did y'all see the verses? I don't want to
- 24:02Speaker 2: get off topic, but yeah, that's all I'm gonna say.
- 24:07Speaker 1: What do you talking about? He said a song about
- 24:09Speaker 1: the turtle neck man? I said, look, this is the
- 24:13Speaker 1: end of verses because now we're singing about turtlenecks. That's
- 24:16Speaker 1: just it, okay, right, all right? So we got kofee
- 24:21Speaker 1: for Tommy. Yeah, but Lizzie because she's a passenger princess.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I want to make that role hard for the rapper
- 24:36Speaker 1: to do. So we're talking about the princess.
- 24:40Speaker 2: She's also native back first, but then she grows a backbone.
- 24:45Speaker 1: She grows a backbone. Okay, so we're gonna gonna look
- 24:49Speaker 1: at this crop of rappers that we have females. Who
- 24:57Speaker 1: would you choose to play Lizzie and why?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Hm hmmm.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I gotta think about this one.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Y'all dropped so I can get an idea of what
- 25:11Speaker 2: I want. Let's see, you said rappers, rappers. I don't know.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I was Sigrilla and why because in that video that
- 25:28Speaker 1: she has with t Pain, you see the softer side
- 25:31Speaker 1: of her. It's a song to her and Pain half together.
- 25:36Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I would say Little Kim because of the whole bacco
- 25:43Speaker 2: and stuff. I would have to say little Kim because
- 25:46Speaker 2: she was often in you know, she was like a
- 25:49Speaker 2: little I would not do my Lotto, not a lot
- 25:53Speaker 2: of maleo man leo. Yes, I would do my Leo.
- 26:00Speaker 2: So I would definitely say my little live Kim.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I don't even know who is. I'm sorry.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I don't think lotto because I feel like lotto is
- 26:11Speaker 2: like she always talked about Big Mama, and she probably
- 26:15Speaker 2: is soft around her person. But no, I need her
- 26:19Speaker 2: very like native and showing or nothing about no street life.
- 26:23Speaker 2: And I need her to be submitted to her husband
- 26:25Speaker 2: and then grow a bad bone, because that's what the
- 26:27Speaker 2: book is about. I was gonna say Mad the Stallion.
- 26:32Speaker 2: You know what I am gonna say, Mad the Stallion
- 26:34Speaker 2: if med de Sigon was a little bit shorter, though
- 26:35Speaker 2: med de Sign has to be a little bit shorter,
- 26:37Speaker 2: because remember Liz is shorter than Tommy. Tommy tow was
- 26:42Speaker 2: over right, So you, honestly, Matt de Sign would be
- 26:48Speaker 2: my number one pick.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so we got Mega Sign and we have coffee.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Oh my god, they didn't have a child together, that
- 26:56Speaker 1: that child would be beautiful. Somebody said, Curly b don't.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't do Cardi because remember Carti is funny, Liz
- 27:04Speaker 2: ain't funny. This is not funny.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Okay. I'm still thinking that this somebody out there that
- 27:11Speaker 1: we are overlooking as a female rapper who can do it.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I was gonna say Trina, But Trina got too much lip,
- 27:19Speaker 2: just like Carti. Carter got lip too, So.
- 27:21Speaker 1: No, Trina got too much attitude. I didn't see her.
- 27:25Speaker 1: She got too much attitude. Mmmm, I think, man, uh
- 27:33Speaker 1: you know what? And grew a backbone? Okay, mia X
- 27:38Speaker 1: mea X she was, she was really she grew a backbone. Well,
- 27:41Speaker 1: she actually started to come out more after they did
- 27:44Speaker 1: that make her said on video, because before then you
- 27:47Speaker 1: really didn't know nothing about her, and she was on
- 27:49Speaker 1: some of their hooks. But once they did that make
- 27:52Speaker 1: he say she had that little piece, then she came
- 27:55Speaker 1: out there. So I can see mia X. Okay, I
- 28:02Speaker 1: can't see anybody else. Okay, all right, so we got
- 28:08Speaker 1: Tommy and Lizzie, but now we gotta have a great location.
- 28:13Speaker 1: What city do you floor? Flow flow? Milly? You know
- 28:19Speaker 1: who that is.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I never listened to how music, but I do know
- 28:22Speaker 2: who she is.
- 28:24Speaker 1: How do you feel about her being Lizzie?
- 28:26Speaker 2: No, we're gonna stay with med. So we have May
- 28:32Speaker 2: and the.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Stallion and we have Kofe. So now you know, we
- 28:35Speaker 1: gotta have a great place to film this book. What
- 28:41Speaker 1: city would you feel would be to have the best
- 28:47Speaker 1: backdrop for this for your book? Stuck in his Maids?
- 28:53Speaker 2: Oh, I would say, Cali, what y'all think? If y'all
- 28:59Speaker 2: have read the what you guys, But I would say, Keli.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I was actually I was thinking like and because of
- 29:10Speaker 1: Lizzie's background, I was thinking somewhere like Washington, d C.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Or even like Charlotte. That's why I was. Somebody saying
- 29:18Speaker 1: Bay Area.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I would say, that's saying somebody.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Says, who's seven. Okay, So I was thinking like Charlotte,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and then I was thinking Washington, d C. And the
- 29:32Speaker 1: reason why I was doing that because of Lizzie's background.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I could see her coming from a well educated family
- 29:38Speaker 1: for some reason.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yes, so she does. I felt like well educated family.
- 29:45Speaker 1: So I felt like I needed some place that had
- 29:49Speaker 1: the educational ass point standpoint. But then I walked down
- 29:53Speaker 1: a couple of blocks, excuse me, and I'm straight in
- 29:56Speaker 1: the hoods. So that's why I was thinking that.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Somebody said, what about I'm gonna see New York too.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Now I can see New York. Yes, I can see that.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yes, because New York will give you that. New York
- 30:13Speaker 2: give you everything.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Actually, yes, I can see New York. That's a good one.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's a good one. All right. So we got New
- 30:21Speaker 1: York City, we have mag thee Stallion, we have Kolfie,
- 30:26Speaker 1: all right, they loved it. Oh my god, they say
- 30:29Speaker 1: they loved it, they loved it, they love it. But
- 30:31Speaker 1: now they say, you know what, we want you to
- 30:33Speaker 1: do another movie about one of your other books, but
- 30:38Speaker 1: you gotta do it with your favorite. You have to
- 30:42Speaker 1: have someone help you write it. You's a cool but
- 30:46Speaker 1: that person gonna be your favorite author. So what other
- 30:49Speaker 1: book of yours would you like to make a film off?
- 30:53Speaker 1: And who would you like the co author? What?
- 30:57Speaker 2: Let's see you hmm. I would do Broken Vowels. That's
- 31:03Speaker 2: my second book and my co author. Cool. Let's say hmmm,
- 31:16Speaker 2: we talked about her earlier. What is her name? Jay?
- 31:20Speaker 2: I'm probably gonna yes, Jacquell J. I would definitely do her.
- 31:25Speaker 2: She Oak. I would definitely do her, all right?
- 31:29Speaker 1: All right? Cool? So you got all these people we
- 31:31Speaker 1: in place, but now we need a director. Oh, we
- 31:37Speaker 1: need a director. So I'll let you figure out who
- 31:40Speaker 1: would your director be?
- 31:41Speaker 2: Okay, huh, I feel like with that book, and I
- 31:49Speaker 2: would do Will Packer because he's coming out with me
- 31:54Speaker 2: if it's not already out. But the one with Hallie
- 31:57Speaker 2: I cannot wait to see. But that's just like a
- 31:59Speaker 2: rump come right, Yeah, but I want to see that too. Yes,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I wait to go and see it. And Broken Vows
- 32:09Speaker 2: is about like a marriage, and it's about the ups
- 32:13Speaker 2: and downs and childs and tribulations of a marriage and
- 32:17Speaker 2: how she has to like forgive him and take him
- 32:19Speaker 2: back and stuff. But he also has to do the work.
- 32:21Speaker 2: So I would definitely love to see him love to
- 32:24Speaker 2: see you. Will Packer be the producer for that?
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay, okay, So now the last thing we need.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Every good movie has that title soundtrack. What song would
- 32:38Speaker 1: be this title soundtrack of Stuck in His Knees?
- 32:41Speaker 2: Oh? Girl, it's the thin line between love and hate? Yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 32:59Speaker 2: it's a thin line between the loved hair perfectly. Yes.
- 33:03Speaker 1: The sweetest woman in the world could be the meanest
- 33:05Speaker 1: woman in the world if you make her that way.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Yes, that's I love that. That will be yeah, the
- 33:15Speaker 2: name of it.
- 33:17Speaker 1: See you survived the tough questions. So what would you
- 33:26Speaker 1: like to say to your old readers, your new readers,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and your current readers. What would you like to say
- 33:33Speaker 1: that I would definitely just like to say thank you,
- 33:36Speaker 1: thank you for picking picking up the book, thank you
- 33:40Speaker 1: for reading the pages, and also thank you for giving
- 33:42Speaker 1: me constructive criticism.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I definitely take that and I just be like, Okay.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Sarah said she didn't like the ending, but she also
- 33:50Speaker 2: said this was good in the book, So I love
- 33:52Speaker 2: that and I'm just thankful. That's all. Like I said,
- 33:56Speaker 2: it's just thank you and I'm thankful. Well, can you.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Give us the rundown how we can follow you for
- 34:05Speaker 1: your next coming books? I understand you've got some events
- 34:09Speaker 1: going on. You are on social media, so how about
- 34:13Speaker 1: you just give us that rundown so we can follow you.

- 35:31Speaker 1: I never heard of sub well, not take that back.

- 35:38Speaker 1: I'm not on it on it like I should. And
- 35:41Speaker 1: I'm now seeing a lot of authors are traveling over
- 35:44Speaker 1: there and they're coming off of They're still on Facebook,
- 35:49Speaker 1: but a lot of authors are traveling substack. So is
- 35:53Speaker 1: that with you? Primary are.
- 35:57Speaker 2: No, I'm still on Facebook heavily, but I am steck.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I write so you can write articles. You can write
- 36:07Speaker 2: daily posts and stuff, and daily post is how like
- 36:09Speaker 2: I engage with people. But articles is how I just
- 36:15Speaker 2: send out you know, like what's going on or doodle basically,
- 36:19Speaker 2: you know how you draw on you doodle. So I
- 36:21Speaker 2: just write down certain things or certain topics that I
- 36:24Speaker 2: just want to talk about, and I just send them
- 36:26Speaker 2: out to everyone that subscribe, so yeah, it's really cool.
- 36:29Speaker 2: A lot of people use it for recipes, a lot

- 38:47Speaker 1: see Tommy and Lizzy gonna give me a headache. That's
- 38:52Speaker 1: all I'm gonna say. So me and you're gonna hook
- 38:56Speaker 1: up because I'm gonna finish reading it and then we
- 38:58Speaker 1: got to talk about it. We we gotta talk about it, Okay. Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 1: but thank you for being with us tonight.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So you guys, remember I told you that authors, we
- 39:14Speaker 1: had some things coming out for you guys. We have
- 39:17Speaker 1: so many promotions that are going on, Like for the
- 39:22Speaker 1: past two weeks we've had twelve authors have their books
- 39:27Speaker 1: on the billboards in Times Square, do y'all know? Okay,
- 39:32Speaker 1: my daughter is one of those authors. The look of
- 39:36Speaker 1: pure joy of her having her book on that billboard was,
- 39:43Speaker 1: oh my gosh. She was just saying, oh, this girl
- 39:46Speaker 1: had me email and everybody even in her school like,
- 39:51Speaker 1: little girl, what is wrong with you? But offense? We
- 39:53Speaker 1: want to give you the opportunity that have that same feeling.
- 39:56Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with promoting your brand. So if you're
- 39:59Speaker 1: looking at my back drop, you will see that we
- 40:01Speaker 1: have twelve slots available for you to have your book
- 40:07Speaker 1: on the billboard in Time Square. Okay, and the billboard ones,
- 40:12Speaker 1: the ones that we have was running every six uh
- 40:17Speaker 1: zero six of the hours, like twelve o six one
- 40:20Speaker 1: o six two o six. Okay, here's a way to
- 40:23Speaker 1: boat your brand. Okay. Also, the books that are here,
- 40:28Speaker 1: you will also see them on at see book outsandfriends

- 40:36Speaker 1: bad those who see your book on the billboard will
- 40:39Speaker 1: be able to grab that direct link to Amazon or
- 40:43Speaker 1: wherever you would like them to go. Okay, then we
- 40:47Speaker 1: coming back again with the rep Your state, New Jersey
- 40:54Speaker 1: is ouramn taking. Yes, there are people already bouncing on it. Okay,
- 40:59Speaker 1: if you want information about representing your state, you will
- 41:05Speaker 1: represent that state for twenty twenty six to twenty twenty seven. Okay.
- 41:09Speaker 1: What that means is that the state you want your
- 41:13Speaker 1: book to be associated with. Now, how can my book
- 41:17Speaker 1: be associated with this state? There are three ways. Okay.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You either have the been born there, have a background
- 41:28Speaker 1: there as in the background of your book or the
- 41:30Speaker 1: setting of your book, or you currently live there. Okay.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Now we all know there's gonna be some and I
- 41:39Speaker 1: don't want to say it like this, but there's gonna
- 41:41Speaker 1: be some straggling states like Ohio owing Kansas City. Kansas
- 41:46Speaker 1: City is not a state, but Kansas. You can grab
- 41:49Speaker 1: those states also, okay. And we also have the five
- 41:52Speaker 1: territory so if you look at the fly on the page,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you will see more information about that. All this information
- 41:57Speaker 1: can be found with me, Patri and our founder Angela
