- 0:23Speaker 3: But I think I had a breakthrough in therapy.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Oh you we go. And your therapist said that cal
- 0:29Speaker 2: is the guiding lights you needed in your life all.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Along, right, exactly that in a few words.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so happy. I'm happy I can be in
- 0:36Speaker 2: your life in some way and I appreciate that well.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Unto therapist, by the.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Way, thank you great opportunity to work with me.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, that's what I'm talking about. I'm very happy
- 0:46Speaker 2: for you, and I'm happy that you can so eloquently
- 0:48Speaker 2: talk about therapy, something that people often evade in a conversation.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Enjoy it, Embrace it. It's very lovely to chat to
- 0:57Speaker 2: somebody who's neutral and you can allie to express in
- 1:01Speaker 2: ways with no judgment and in ways that can make
- 1:04Speaker 2: clarity be something a part of your thinking, which is great.
- 1:07Speaker 2: So I'm happy. So you had a good breakthrough.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I did, yes, and tell me about your day.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I was in a cooking show today. I saw so
- 1:15Speaker 2: a brand put on the cooking shows and then a
- 1:17Speaker 2: liazel and sibs and myself. We were like the celebs
- 1:22Speaker 2: and we cooked off against some of the shifts that
- 1:25Speaker 2: won competitions all over the country and it's so great.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I can't tell you who want to who lost because
- 1:30Speaker 2: you know, spoiler alert, but we were doing that this
- 1:32Speaker 2: morning and it was really cool. And I got a
- 1:35Speaker 2: chance to be because we actually shot on the set
- 1:38Speaker 2: of Expresso and I haven't been on that show for ages,
- 1:41Speaker 2: so that was also great to be back and see
- 1:42Speaker 2: the old people. So that must have been the best
- 1:45Speaker 2: part of my day outside of seeing you, of course. Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Love it, man, look at us there we go. We're
- 1:51Speaker 2: feeling very happy, in fact, so happy les play this.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's oliviatin so easy to fall in love with you
- 2:01Speaker 2: supporting us on the flash driving KFM ninety four point five.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Who is us? I know, yeah, you saying who's us? Well,
- 2:07Speaker 2: it's Cassidy Jade Nicholson an individual. Her birthday was it
- 2:14Speaker 2: was a beautiful day, nineteen ninety six. I'm gonna take
- 2:15Speaker 2: it all the way back there. On the fourth of June,
- 2:17Speaker 2: a legend was born, someone who was put onto this
- 2:20Speaker 2: earth to change lives, to showcase talents, and to bring
- 2:23Speaker 2: people together. That was what happened on the fourth of
- 2:26Speaker 2: June nineteen ninety six. Don't forget that, and she is
- 2:28Speaker 2: here on the show to do just that.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Thanks. What an intro.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It's the truth.
- 2:33Speaker 4: It's the truth.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Go for it.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You are more of a gem than Yes, definitely, Okay.
- 2:41Speaker 2: There's not many Geminis who can say that, not many
- 2:44Speaker 2: of them, but here you are also in this. It
- 2:48Speaker 2: was quite quite funny in the staff meeting today. It's
- 2:51Speaker 2: it's like fifty percent of k from ninety four point
- 2:54Speaker 2: five's people were born like in June. I know, I
- 2:56Speaker 2: like the Gemini star sign, which is crazy, all of us,
- 3:00Speaker 2: like our big boss and you and I and Sherlin
- 3:02Speaker 2: and just like there's so many that were just born
- 3:05Speaker 2: Brandon Lee h so so many June babies here. Yes,
- 3:09Speaker 2: it's like their prerequisite for being radio. So what do
- 3:11Speaker 2: you need to be on radio. Well, you need to
- 3:12Speaker 2: be born in June. That's what it seems like. It
- 3:15Speaker 2: was like.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Actually, when I had my interview with the Big Boss, yeah,
- 3:19Speaker 6: it was like, so when's your birthday?
- 3:20Speaker 3: And I was like fourth of June.
- 3:21Speaker 2: He goes of, of course, yep, obviously, yep. Everyone, Yeah
- 3:25Speaker 2: you're hired.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Done, That's what it felt like. Sure, but it's going
- 3:30Speaker 2: to be a lovely day today. You know, one thing
- 3:32Speaker 2: I didn't tell you is that you can expect to
- 3:36Speaker 2: have some DHL Stormers players on the show once again
- 3:39Speaker 2: for another episode of our DHL Stormers X flash Drive.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Chin Wag. I'm gonna call it that I've been watching
- 3:47Speaker 2: the boys naturally. Yeah, so this is gonna be so cool.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We've got a massive game coming up at DHL Stadium
- 3:53Speaker 2: and they have given us some tickets, so we are
- 3:55Speaker 2: going to do our unofficial press conference with them. But
- 3:58Speaker 2: remember I'm not looking for rug questions. We're looking for
- 4:01Speaker 2: the questions that you don't hear to press conference to
- 4:03Speaker 2: our guests the day, and we've brought in Dobbo as
- 4:07Speaker 2: well as two super talented young DHL Stormers players. We'll
- 4:10Speaker 2: be joining you on these mics just after four o'clock
- 4:13Speaker 2: to build up to that game. And also there's some
- 4:15Speaker 2: big news about some huge players returning to the franchise,
- 4:18Speaker 2: so there's a lot to talk about. I hope that
- 4:20Speaker 2: you can join us for that. I really do. There
- 4:23Speaker 2: will also be some questions from Cassidy J. Nicholson of course. Yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 2: so you're building up some good ones run I am, yes, okay,
- 4:29Speaker 2: so what are we thinking for the something around like
- 4:35Speaker 2: of the off beat one? Do you want my conversation cards?
- 4:38Speaker 3: You know what?
- 4:39Speaker 6: I wouldn't say no because I am hoping to ask
- 4:42Speaker 6: each person more than one. Okay, so if you want,
- 4:46Speaker 6: if you wouldn't mind lending them.
- 4:48Speaker 2: No problem, I would be.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I would be so great.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Some really good easier. So because I told the the
- 4:53Speaker 2: conversation cards I was inspired with, and so I wrote
- 4:55Speaker 2: my own. So if you want to add, if you
- 4:57Speaker 2: want some, I've got some really really great things here. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 2: just just wait, I'm going to get the file open. Here.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I did some nice writing. You know, when you're in
- 5:07Speaker 2: nature and you just started writing. That's what happened to
- 5:10Speaker 2: me when I wrote these conversations. I actually wrote one
- 5:12Speaker 2: hundred of them. You're the inspiration was no, I get
- 5:16Speaker 2: trust me, when I get fixated on a thing that
- 5:18Speaker 2: I go for it. Oh, there's some very good ones
- 5:21Speaker 2: here like this describe your suburb in one brutally honest
- 5:25Speaker 2: sentence is in here as well. I've got your pettiest
- 5:30Speaker 2: revenge story. It was one of the things, the most
- 5:33Speaker 2: so African moment of your entire life came through as well. Oh,
- 5:38Speaker 2: there's there's so many good easier. I'm telling you now
- 5:42Speaker 2: a trend that you file for, there's some goods, so
- 5:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna share. I'm running it down, Not yet yet,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I'll share them with you, okay, but yeah, that's the
- 5:51Speaker 2: DHL storm as they'll be here. It's going to be great.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Just about the four o'clock and I got tickets for
- 5:55Speaker 2: you to go see the big Game. Make sure you
- 5:57Speaker 2: don't miss that. And while you're at it, I want
- 5:59Speaker 2: you to win. I'm gonna unlock your clicks cut. If
- 6:03Speaker 2: money has been a bit tight and you've been leaving
- 6:05Speaker 2: some stuff in there hoping that they would come to life,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I want to be that genie for you. All you
- 6:10Speaker 2: have to do is rub the WhatsApp line and I'll
- 6:12Speaker 2: pop out and give you three wishes. Well one wish
- 6:14Speaker 2: to get a two and a half thousand million cash back.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So just say that screen shot to me of your
- 6:18Speaker 2: clicks court and I could make you a winner with clicks.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Feel good payless on KF ninety four point five. Keyword
- 6:24Speaker 2: clicks is essential, name, id, number and screenshot.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Please I don't gone home them, try dance and still
- 6:34Speaker 7: I know then I'll be all right feeling.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I love Bushlegez so much. One I legend it's called
- 6:42Speaker 2: best life. While you were living your best life today,
- 6:44Speaker 2: I was working for you. It's your flash drive. My
- 6:46Speaker 2: name is called This is Cassidy and South Africans might
- 6:49Speaker 2: watch the entire twenty twenty six World Cup for just
- 6:52Speaker 2: ten rand. I'm not sure if we've seen this, but
- 6:54Speaker 2: there's a bit of an opportunity here s a football
- 6:58Speaker 2: fans could soon stream or one four matches of the
- 7:00Speaker 2: twenty twenty six feet for World Cup for a once
- 7:02Speaker 2: off payment of just ten round through sporty TV. It's
- 7:07Speaker 2: a huge thing, okay, and on the thing is so
- 7:10Speaker 2: I've used sporty tv to watch real Madrid games, especially
- 7:13Speaker 2: the games that are outside of La Liga. So some
- 7:15Speaker 2: of the smaller games have Coppa Dara and that sort
- 7:17Speaker 2: of thing. Because this company is connected to Real Madrid
- 7:22Speaker 2: so Sporty TV. Yah. Apparently for like a once of
- 7:25Speaker 2: ten bucks, right, it might become the cheapest ticket to
- 7:27Speaker 2: go see the biggest sporting event. Lick Kitan is doing
- 7:32Speaker 2: the most when it comes to security. They are using
- 7:36Speaker 2: AI powered camera systems to help stop a growing scam
- 7:40Speaker 2: targeting tourists along the Atlantic saboard. It's back, Cassidy, it
- 7:46Speaker 2: is back. I need more info the scam where our
- 7:50Speaker 2: dear scam artists are targeting tourists. They're bringing a yoko
- 7:56Speaker 2: to them and they're saying, excuse me, why are you
- 7:58Speaker 2: walking here? Have you paid the fee? Do you remember
- 8:02Speaker 2: there was a big fuss that happened with one of
- 8:05Speaker 2: the streets and there were people and you walk up
- 8:08Speaker 2: that street. Andy be like, you must pay to walk
- 8:10Speaker 2: up the street. And the tourists are like, I did
- 8:12Speaker 2: not know I must pay? Sorry? How much is it
- 8:16Speaker 2: five thousand? Okay?
- 8:20Speaker 3: Okay, I obviously don't mean this. I'm making it.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yes, if you fall for that scam, you deserve it. Man.
- 8:29Speaker 2: You're so the scam involves that fake permit officials and
- 8:34Speaker 2: they come up to you and they look all all like,
- 8:37Speaker 2: dressed beautifully with a card machine. They look very professional
- 8:40Speaker 2: the best as well. You know, they're going out to
- 8:42Speaker 2: people and say you have to pay to walk you
- 8:45Speaker 2: or you may might. No, they have to pay to
- 8:47Speaker 2: walk here, or you share might. Yes, you must pay
- 8:50Speaker 2: too to walk here.
- 8:51Speaker 3: You can't just look at the ocean for free.
- 8:53Speaker 2: No, no, not at all what you're thinking and run
- 8:55Speaker 2: of the problem for free.
- 8:56Speaker 3: How do you think we maintain Table Mountain? We need payments.
- 9:01Speaker 8: We do.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Come on now, Breeze Street. Do you think that we
- 9:04Speaker 2: buy the cheese for free? No, we need the bree
- 9:08Speaker 2: so pay.
- 9:08Speaker 6: What do you think those lights that light up Table
- 9:10Speaker 6: Mountain a run off of electricity.
- 9:13Speaker 3: No, we don't have that. It runs off money. Yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 3: give us money.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Long Street, it's gonna be very short if you don't pay.
- 9:19Speaker 2: We needed to keep keep Long Street long exactly right.
- 9:25Speaker 2: So the AI cameras are gonna help these people walk
- 9:28Speaker 2: where they want to walkmen, especially around you know the
- 9:31Speaker 2: prom because apparently the prom is the new target spot
- 9:35Speaker 2: for tourists getting charged, because I mean, the promise some
- 9:38Speaker 2: really cool things there. It's got like little stall cheese
- 9:41Speaker 2: and it's got like features and lighthouses and five kilometer
- 9:44Speaker 2: runs and Pomeranians and that sort of thing. Right, So
- 9:47Speaker 2: there's a lot of great things to see on the
- 9:49Speaker 2: prom and that's why it was targeting that. So I
- 9:51Speaker 2: thought i'd I'd throw that in there. AI. Then parents
- 9:56Speaker 2: in Ireland, there's a small town there, have reportedly teamed
- 9:59Speaker 2: up to delay giving their children smartphones. It's another contentious
- 10:03Speaker 2: issue around the globe. The idea symboled everyone waits together,
- 10:07Speaker 2: fewer kids left out or pressured to be online early.
- 10:11Speaker 2: So you notice that if you want to delay, you
- 10:13Speaker 2: know your kid's access to a phone. What happens is right.
- 10:17Speaker 2: What happens is basically they see their friends with them
- 10:21Speaker 2: and they're like, why me, Why are you only targeting me.
- 10:24Speaker 2: So they're trying to this town of gray Stones. They're
- 10:28Speaker 2: getting together and they're trying to delay giving their kids smartphones,
- 10:31Speaker 2: which is very, very interesting and powerful. The last one
- 10:36Speaker 2: I have for you, Yes, there's a viral US service
- 10:38Speaker 2: called Dark Secret. It offers one of the strangest funeral
- 10:42Speaker 2: add ons imaginable from around nine thousand RAND. A mysterious
- 10:47Speaker 2: woman dressed entirely in black will arrive at your funeral
- 10:50Speaker 2: in a limousine, silently crying through the service, refusing to
- 10:55Speaker 2: speak to anyone, and then disappearing without explanation. The service
- 11:00Speaker 2: is available to you. The point of it is who
- 11:05Speaker 2: was she? What secret did this person take to the grave.
- 11:08Speaker 2: The concept has exploded online because it feels equal parts hilarious,
- 11:12Speaker 2: dramatic and deeply unsettling. Imagine for that person to be
- 11:17Speaker 2: paid just to be there, just to be like a
- 11:19Speaker 2: supermodel at my funeral, just there crying her eyes out
- 11:24Speaker 2: for me. People are like, who's that? Why is Kylie
- 11:27Speaker 2: Jenner here? Why is dou aleiper Year aligned?
- 11:32Speaker 4: That's that's it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, there we go. That's hilarious.
- 11:35Speaker 2: And then in more news, the DHL Stormers will be
- 11:39Speaker 2: here in studio after four o'clock. Don't miss that because
- 11:42Speaker 2: I have tickets for you. We're doing an unofficial press conference.
- 11:46Speaker 2: If your question gets selected, I'm giving those tickets to you.
- 11:50Speaker 2: It's many more. It's called Autumn. If you would love
- 11:53Speaker 2: to be at the DHL Stadium this weekend. We got
- 11:55Speaker 2: ourselves our home quarter against Quardiff and it's going to
- 11:58Speaker 2: be great. And I decided to invite some of our
- 12:01Speaker 2: boys into studio. The DHL Stormers. You've got two young
- 12:04Speaker 2: guns coming in along with coach Dobbo and if you
- 12:08Speaker 2: want to win some tickets, I'm looking for some of
- 12:10Speaker 2: the most off When I say this, I mean off rugby,
- 12:14Speaker 2: but not two private questions you can ask the DHL
- 12:17Speaker 2: Stormers because they have several, you know, these press tours
- 12:21Speaker 2: and then what happens based on the injury? What do
- 12:24Speaker 2: you think of you know your chances? You did some
- 12:27Speaker 2: rotation at the back. What's that all about? You know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: it's the normal questions. I don't like the normal questions.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Man.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I want to know what they binge you on Netflix,
- 12:33Speaker 2: you know what I mean. I want to hear more
- 12:36Speaker 2: about them. I want to know about like I want
- 12:39Speaker 2: to know what they got out of because they are
- 12:42Speaker 2: rugby players. You know, sometimes when people in the public
- 12:45Speaker 2: eye you get like a traffic fine or whatever. Maybe
- 12:48Speaker 2: like a traffic officer stops. You're like, hey, I'm actually
- 12:50Speaker 2: so and so, and then they they let you go. Yes,
- 12:53Speaker 2: you know that sort of thing.
- 12:54Speaker 6: I want to know that last time we had them on,
- 12:56Speaker 6: we got some really cool questions that were first of all,
- 12:59Speaker 6: not about rugby, and then ones that were about rugby
- 13:02Speaker 6: but were so unhinged, like this one that sticks with me,
- 13:05Speaker 6: which is if you could drop any rugby rule, which
- 13:10Speaker 6: one would it be?
- 13:10Speaker 2: That was good.
- 13:11Speaker 3: It was so good and it got everyone talking, and
- 13:13Speaker 3: that's what.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We need today. So if you have a question, and
- 13:16Speaker 2: I'll be very honest with you, if you're gonna say
- 13:18Speaker 2: things like, you know, why do you prep for the game,
- 13:22Speaker 2: or that's sort of I get it. And it's a
- 13:24Speaker 2: lovely question. I understand it's a good question to ask,
- 13:26Speaker 2: but we are looking for things that are a bit
- 13:28Speaker 2: off beat.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Yes, we want to get to know them outside the
- 13:31Speaker 6: rugby field. Yeah, I mean it can be again, can
- 13:34Speaker 6: be rugby themed, but we want to get to know them.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah. I would like to know. Is there like one
- 13:40Speaker 2: meal that they could eat every day? What would the
- 13:43Speaker 2: meal be for you? What's that for you? Is this
- 13:46Speaker 2: one meal? If you could only choose one meal to
- 13:47Speaker 2: eat for the rest of your life, what would it
- 13:49Speaker 2: be with steak phill at steak steak prepared rare?
- 13:53Speaker 6: Okay, And I'm not gonna I'm not gonna, you know,
- 13:55Speaker 6: play around. Vegetables are nice, But if I have one meal,
- 13:59Speaker 6: I want it to be steak and chips.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Steak and chips, dimee, good yours curry?
- 14:05Speaker 3: Oh, yes, we've spoken about.
- 14:07Speaker 2: We'll eat curry every day, every day with a parata
- 14:11Speaker 2: a rotti. Rice doesn't matter. I will just cut. I
- 14:16Speaker 2: could eat curry every single day of my life and
- 14:19Speaker 2: I would not get bored.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Keep that energy for when you're wearing a white T shirt.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I'd always wear white T shirts when I'm eating my curry.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I always get like a nice it looks like a
- 14:28Speaker 2: sort of an art jamming T shirt. After that with
- 14:31Speaker 2: like the turmeric that's in the curry, because.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Your top says let me taste. Also, man, yeah, and
- 14:35Speaker 3: give my top.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Exactly my favorite shobmy. Hey, what's your surname? Shirt? First name?
- 14:40Speaker 2: T nice guy. Love him so much. The last time
- 14:43Speaker 2: the Stormers were in we had some fun. In fact,
- 14:46Speaker 2: let's throw back for a second. Your DHR Stormers and
- 14:49Speaker 2: our coach Dobo is here to chat to you about
- 14:51Speaker 2: the record we are going to break tomorrow forty five
- 14:54Speaker 2: thousand DHR faithful and that DHR stadium. Welcome coach.
- 14:57Speaker 9: I was like, you're not available for tomorrow.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I am very of I'm setting you know, I've actually recovered.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I had a bit of an issue on the the biceps.
- 15:05Speaker 6: For more.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Talking about the players, We've got the incredible individual Colobus
- 15:11Speaker 2: Rhinerch who is here Coobus obviously just in the setup
- 15:14Speaker 2: over here, you know, with the DHL Stormers, I promise
- 15:16Speaker 2: you the culture is unreal.
- 15:18Speaker 9: Coming from France, messing home France to.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Cape Town can obviously better. Thank you so much. V
- 15:24Speaker 2: in France did you go to Caboose?
- 15:25Speaker 9: I can't tell you what they called me.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Let's do a round of the question that we should
- 15:31Speaker 2: be asking DHL Stormers to start.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I just like to say, go sports, right. The opening
- 15:37Speaker 3: question is for Cobos if it didn't play rugby, what
- 15:39Speaker 3: would you do for like real adult money fighter.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Ruin?
- 15:45Speaker 3: You can be honest, what's our hobby? No one knows
- 15:47Speaker 3: you have a hobby.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 9: When I'm really nervous, yeah, I tend to color in.
- 15:51Speaker 5: So do you know what.
- 15:54Speaker 6: You do?
- 15:54Speaker 3: You queen?
- 15:57Speaker 6: Okay, Damien a question you wish people would stop asking you.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd say, what's my favorite position? That's rugby?
- 16:09Speaker 6: Right, yr it's there.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Just like me, Oh my word, this is crazy and
- 16:20Speaker 2: uh yeah, so we got another unt of that very soon.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Seeing your question in if it is I'm going to
- 16:26Speaker 2: say of the order. Then you're gonna get yourself some
- 16:28Speaker 2: tickets to go see our team, DHL Stormers at the
- 16:31Speaker 2: stadium this weekend. It's Marles Smith now hard it's called

- 16:39Speaker 2: very very excited to introduce you if you haven't met them,
- 16:43Speaker 2: to some of the talented individuals from the DHL Stormers,

- 16:50Speaker 2: We've got Coach Dubbo here.
- 16:54Speaker 8: Yes, the Coachy back again.
- 16:58Speaker 2: The last time Coach was here. All you asked for
- 17:01Speaker 2: was for any sort of the final stages to be
- 17:03Speaker 2: at home, and we delivered.
- 17:06Speaker 9: Call delivers every time I do.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And that's why you hear again. Yeah, I am. I
- 17:11Speaker 2: am the postman. But then we brought in Now usually
- 17:14Speaker 2: we bring in some of the older gents the season.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Yeah should I say.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Season the season?
- 17:21Speaker 2: Season is seasoned? Alright, No, no, no, these gentlemen are
- 17:24Speaker 2: are when I say not seasoned, they are super talented.
- 17:29Speaker 2: These are of the future. Is here. We have Immad
- 17:33Speaker 2: Khan who is here. Get close to the microphone. Brother, Hello, Hello,
- 17:36Speaker 2: I follow you on TikTok. Now you better follow him back. Okay,
- 17:42Speaker 2: it is sexy kitten.
- 17:46Speaker 8: Name.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry about that. And then Sir Leimon Arzenberg, Hello.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Hello, it's boy.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Don't your boy? Can I just also think, coach, why
- 18:00Speaker 2: are these guys using their sexy voices.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Of the radio.
- 18:03Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 18:06Speaker 5: Out of control? I just will sit and watch them go. Boys.
- 18:10Speaker 9: Yeah, this is my normal voice. I don't know what
- 18:13Speaker 9: are you talking about?
- 18:14Speaker 2: Is that a normal voice?
- 18:15Speaker 3: No, it's not. I'm waiting for the hay shott what
- 18:17Speaker 3: that thing.
- 18:21Speaker 2: It's great to have you, all right, coach. We've got
- 18:23Speaker 2: such I mean, we've we've provided, we've delivered, We've got
- 18:26Speaker 2: we've got one of the most crucial matches here at home,
- 18:29Speaker 2: which means our DHL storm is faithful, going to come
- 18:32Speaker 2: out in their robes, you know, let's set another record
- 18:34Speaker 2: while we add it. But I mean, we got what
- 18:37Speaker 2: we wanted. Now we need the goods to be delivered,
- 18:40Speaker 2: so we need to talk to the entire city.
- 18:42Speaker 8: We've got to be there, right, Yeah, I mean, it's
- 18:43Speaker 8: a it's a virtuous circles. People come, we play better,
- 18:47Speaker 8: We enjoy it. People come, we play better. They enjoyed
- 18:49Speaker 8: more themselves as a a party. Yes, you know, come along,
- 18:53Speaker 8: you'll have what will do better and you'll have more fun.
- 18:55Speaker 8: So but it's like I said that these guys yesterday,
- 18:58Speaker 8: it's dyed an other day. You know, we that crazy
- 19:00Speaker 8: stage where we don't get this right with our season finishes,
- 19:03Speaker 8: our yea ends. So we need the city behind us
- 19:06Speaker 8: because we want to make sure there are a couple
- 19:07Speaker 8: more games in captain this.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, A quick one on preparation. How does the preparation
- 19:12Speaker 2: between a final stage versus a group stage? Does it
- 19:15Speaker 2: change it? But does it looking? Is it looking back
- 19:18Speaker 2: at group stages and saying, look here, here are five
- 19:21Speaker 2: points where we can be a bit more effective. And
- 19:23Speaker 2: is there is that sort of the analysis that go.
- 19:25Speaker 8: You don't you don't go to I did show them
- 19:27Speaker 8: the Dame spond Some AI think about die another day
- 19:30Speaker 8: or there's no tomorrow or some rubbish like that. But
- 19:33Speaker 8: I don't think keaping pressure on the thinking that we
- 19:35Speaker 8: won't exist next week is going to be constructed. But
- 19:37Speaker 8: I think it is really looking at those let's say
- 19:39Speaker 8: three or four areas that we need to be much
- 19:41Speaker 8: better at, Like we went good enough on this last
- 19:43Speaker 8: tour and the twenty two meters conversion or tackle dominance.
- 19:46Speaker 8: But you know, but the pressure is there because it
- 19:48Speaker 8: would feel like a I don't know what there's how
- 19:50Speaker 8: said politely, but you know you've torn the features out
- 19:53Speaker 8: the womb a bit earlier if this team wasn't to,
- 19:56Speaker 8: you know, get further into this competition. Yes, I got
- 19:58Speaker 8: there's a lot of pressure in terms of we want
- 20:00Speaker 8: to live for another three weeks.
- 20:02Speaker 2: No, you will, you will, don't worry, We're gonna. But
- 20:06Speaker 2: it takes some young talent like this depth in the squad,
- 20:08Speaker 2: individuals such as sur Layman in the mind to make.
- 20:11Speaker 9: It happenses on TikTok.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Sorry that summer. I'd like to know from this too,
- 20:29Speaker 2: first and foremost, so Layman, you are from Mannenburg originally.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Right now you're at the DHL Stormers, so we need
- 20:35Speaker 2: the whole of Mannenburg and the whole of the entire
- 20:38Speaker 2: city to come out. But I always wanted to know
- 20:40Speaker 2: from your upbringing growing up in Mannenburg to now, Man,
- 20:44Speaker 2: do you feel that responsibility of looking at all of
- 20:47Speaker 2: those young people in Mannenburg right now looking for role
- 20:50Speaker 2: models because they are very difficult to find, and looking
- 20:53Speaker 2: at you now do you feel that a little bit
- 20:55Speaker 2: of that responsibility on your shoulders as a DHL Storms player.
- 20:58Speaker 10: I think or dramatically you just get that responsibility. I
- 21:02Speaker 10: think regardless of of like this, like where you are
- 21:07Speaker 10: in the world, Like I think you if you if
- 21:10Speaker 10: you're reaching new heights, you always got to represent where
- 21:12Speaker 10: you come from well in in a well managed you know,
- 21:14Speaker 10: no matter if you planning for the Stormers or if
- 21:17Speaker 10: you go too university. It's it's something that you just
- 21:19Speaker 10: got to represent the people around you and make sure
- 21:22Speaker 10: that there is an example out there for those people
- 21:25Speaker 10: to kind of, you know, kind of get some inspiration
- 21:28Speaker 10: from and kind of just grow from. Say yes, like
- 21:31Speaker 10: my story like it's gone through various doots, you know
- 21:34Speaker 10: what I mean, where I can understand that there is
- 21:38Speaker 10: some inspiration from from from you. Where I can tell
- 21:40Speaker 10: someone else like, oh, this is how my journey went,
- 21:43Speaker 10: this is what I did, this is how I kind
- 21:45Speaker 10: of went went about like about that situation. So if
- 21:48Speaker 10: you in a difficult time, you can kind of relate
- 21:50Speaker 10: to those guys easier because you're from the same area.
- 21:53Speaker 10: But it also allows you to kind of give them
- 21:57Speaker 10: advice maybe where you went wrong, where you could have
- 21:59Speaker 10: done better, and you're just seeing this like this young
- 22:02Speaker 10: this young guy who's in a similar position to kind
- 22:05Speaker 10: of you know, yes new heighten, maybe it'd be even
- 22:07Speaker 10: better than yourself, or or get the opportunity that he
- 22:11Speaker 10: may be deserve.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Yes, man, this should be on TikTok. What you just
- 22:15Speaker 2: said now, this whole thing should be on tick. This
- 22:16Speaker 2: is what people want to hear, because I think people,
- 22:20Speaker 2: how about this. Is there one piece of thinking that
- 22:23Speaker 2: you know was a wrong thought in your mind growing
- 22:26Speaker 2: up not knowing where you'd end up. Is there a
- 22:29Speaker 2: piece of thinking that you think people should just get
- 22:31Speaker 2: out of their minds right now about where they come from?
- 22:34Speaker 10: Yes, one hundred percent is actually as saying that I
- 22:36Speaker 10: go by, Okay, I'm not brother, then I go by.
- 22:38Speaker 10: It says, uh, don't be don't be a victim of
- 22:42Speaker 10: his circumstances, but a product of your choices, which ultimately
- 22:46Speaker 10: comes from there.
- 22:47Speaker 3: We got clock at gents and they know what to do.
- 22:50Speaker 10: He cold want to say that exactly, which is ultimately
- 22:52Speaker 10: you know, yes, you come from a difficult environment. Yes,
- 22:56Speaker 10: the circumstances might not be might not be favorable to you,
- 23:00Speaker 10: but the way your choices come from that scenario is
- 23:05Speaker 10: ultimately how your dies above it, how you kind of
- 23:08Speaker 10: reward yourself and move in a different manner. So instead
- 23:11Speaker 10: of being negative, rather look at the positive and be like,
- 23:14Speaker 10: oh flip, if this went this way, maybe yeah, you know,
- 23:17Speaker 10: take take the negative out of it, just relieve it
- 23:19Speaker 10: and be like, I can do this, I can strive
- 23:21Speaker 10: for greater things. No matter what the situation you're in UK,
- 23:25Speaker 10: you are able to do it, and just believe in yourself.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I feel like to a spring more cat and now
- 23:30Speaker 2: do you have the same feeling like I got this
- 23:32Speaker 2: weird feeling like there's like a foreshadow of the future,
- 23:36Speaker 2: and and now like when you thought it couldn't get
- 23:38Speaker 2: any worse, it might as to follow that up.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Now, Yes, so.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You should have gone I'm sorry, I have no more
- 23:45Speaker 2: questions for you. But how do you feel?
- 23:48Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 23:48Speaker 2: No, no, no, seriously, I think for young players getting
- 23:52Speaker 2: into the DHL Stormers, there's a huge responsibility on your
- 23:56Speaker 2: shoulders now from where you come from, whether it be
- 23:57Speaker 2: Bishops or Ike Tigers, but adds the HL Stormers mate,
- 24:01Speaker 2: and you know you've been through all of those levels
- 24:03Speaker 2: boulding support as you go along. I think that's the
- 24:05Speaker 2: most incredible thing about being a rugby player is that
- 24:08Speaker 2: I feel like people who saw you play at like
- 24:10Speaker 2: primary school and are watching you all the way through.
- 24:14Speaker 2: But now your aspirations need to get even bigger, right,
- 24:17Speaker 2: So I mean there's there's another team.
- 24:19Speaker 12: That is national, so I think, right, yeah, I think
- 24:22Speaker 12: playing for the Storm has always been a dream come true.
- 24:25Speaker 12: So doing doing this every day, it's it's it's super cool.
- 24:29Speaker 9: And I agree with you.
- 24:30Speaker 12: I think from from my days playing playing at prep
- 24:32Speaker 12: school and playing barefoot rugby and growing up and just
- 24:35Speaker 12: enjoying every single moment and ending up here, I think
- 24:38Speaker 12: I'm so privileged because I mean there's so many rugby
- 24:40Speaker 12: players in South Africa and never mind never mind the world.
- 24:43Speaker 12: So yeah, it's it's it's super cool to be rounded
- 24:45Speaker 12: by to be surrounded by great, great rugby players, and
- 24:48Speaker 12: we all strive for strive for greatness. But right now
- 24:51Speaker 12: we're striving for the for the u RC Cup and
- 24:54Speaker 12: the game that's coming up now, so I think we
- 24:57Speaker 12: we've got one thing on our mind for now.
- 24:58Speaker 9: But yeah, it's it's we we're live in our dreams.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's so, it's so beautiful. The fact that
- 25:04Speaker 2: both of you, two young people. I'm very proud of
- 25:07Speaker 2: you too, because it's so easy to let things like this,
- 25:11Speaker 2: this pinnacle of your rugby career. I mean, there are
- 25:14Speaker 2: things above. I know, yes, junior boxer there but Springbok
- 25:17Speaker 2: that's suck, the best feeding ever. But I'm just thinking
- 25:19Speaker 2: about how mature your answers are and how easy it
- 25:24Speaker 2: is to look at your circumstances and say, you know,
- 25:26Speaker 2: this is just where I am. I'm gonna settle. You
- 25:29Speaker 2: two haven't settled. You've worked hard and you've created your
- 25:33Speaker 2: future and you still are doing that today. So while done,
- 25:35Speaker 2: two young people, let me chat to a guy who
- 25:39Speaker 2: taught you everything that you know. Coach, I've always I've
- 25:46Speaker 2: always wanted to ask this. And the thing is, you know,
- 25:47Speaker 2: we're having an unofficial press conference that we did this
- 25:50Speaker 2: last time with some other players. But you're gonna love this.
- 25:52Speaker 2: It's things outside of righting. Oh no, no, trust me,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I know it's going to catch you off. God that's
- 25:59Speaker 2: gonna happen too. Don't worry to stand by for that.
- 26:01Speaker 2: But just one thing. Uh, the you mentioned a I
- 26:05Speaker 2: a little earlier. How how tempting is it for you
- 26:08Speaker 2: to go into like a I and say how do
- 26:11Speaker 2: we beat Cardiff? And see what pops out? How tempting
- 26:15Speaker 2: is that? I'm just I'm intrigued. In fact, hold on
- 26:18Speaker 2: while you're talking now, right, Cordoff spolt l O S
- 26:27Speaker 2: I N G T O S T O R R S. Correct,
- 26:32Speaker 2: that's it?
- 26:34Speaker 8: Yeah, no, you can't. We use AI for all sorts
- 26:37Speaker 8: of practical jokes. And you know that's that's funny. When
- 26:40Speaker 8: you put Dean Free and the guy from Police Academy
- 26:44Speaker 8: or whatever the story is, it looks that that's a lot,
- 26:46Speaker 8: but the lots of that's we make these guys produce
- 26:50Speaker 8: a whole lot of rubbish and them dancing naked and.
- 26:54Speaker 5: That's what I love it.
- 26:56Speaker 2: But what do they call those guys across the roads?
- 26:59Speaker 5: B fe or whatever?
- 27:01Speaker 2: But by the way, what is it called cakes?
- 27:08Speaker 9: Cakes?
- 27:08Speaker 4: Sorry, but.
- 27:10Speaker 2: That's a different club in Cape Town. But how to
- 27:17Speaker 2: be how to be card if you won't get on
- 27:19Speaker 2: ais like that?
- 27:20Speaker 8: That there was just like a giant search engines like Google,
- 27:22Speaker 8: so that we have to work out ourselves.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Actually gave me four points to beat part? Are you ready?
- 27:30Speaker 2: No Cardiff players will be listening to this okay, good,
- 27:33Speaker 2: it says coach, when the collision height stop low carries.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Cardiff is exceptionally dangerous on a fast track because of
- 27:40Speaker 2: their body height into contact, so their ball carriers employ
- 27:45Speaker 2: a very low body posture make them incredibly difficult to
- 27:48Speaker 2: chop down. So the fix here. Defending teams must win
- 27:51Speaker 2: the collision height right at the breakdown. If you let
- 27:54Speaker 2: them get their noses over the game line were that
- 27:56Speaker 2: low center of gravity, their support play is too fast
- 27:59Speaker 2: to handle. You're I'll come, coach, I'm not done. Kill
- 28:02Speaker 2: the breakdown and slow the ball. Cardiff thrives an absolute
- 28:05Speaker 2: frenzy of short, sharp passes right off the ruck. Stop
- 28:09Speaker 2: that and you'll be a winner. High rate conversion in
- 28:11Speaker 2: the twenty two. Historically, teams that push Cardiff to the
- 28:15Speaker 2: brink but fail to finish them off do so because
- 28:18Speaker 2: of poor conversion rates inside the opposition twenty two and
- 28:21Speaker 2: exploit the surface and territorial kicking as well. Cardiff is
- 28:26Speaker 2: lethal on the synthetic four G pitch at Cardiff arms Park,
- 28:29Speaker 2: where momentum is easily sustained. They are out of now,
- 28:32Speaker 2: which is great, so pin them deep into their own
- 28:34Speaker 2: territory with their heavy tactical, kicking game and you will
- 28:38Speaker 2: see success.
- 28:39Speaker 9: That's pretty good.
- 28:40Speaker 8: I want to know what the team talk is going
- 28:41Speaker 8: to look afternoon.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I will do all of that for beatim. I am
- 28:46Speaker 2: of course available. How incredible is that? I mean, that
- 28:49Speaker 2: is pretty It's pretty accurate because you know that they
- 28:53Speaker 2: are going to be quite quite quiet. There are very
- 28:55Speaker 2: very I mean everybody in their team like their names
- 28:57Speaker 2: end with shimp bench them. It's all sho. Have you
- 29:02Speaker 2: notice that in the team. So no, I think it's
- 29:04Speaker 2: gonna be great and I can't wait to see the
- 29:06Speaker 2: DHL Stormers continue. I can't wait for you to lift
- 29:09Speaker 2: a RC title and I can't wait to see you
- 29:12Speaker 2: two incredible young talents lead the future of not only
- 29:16Speaker 2: a rugby but in your respective communities, because we need
- 29:19Speaker 2: more role models like you too, honestly, people who are
- 29:21Speaker 2: not only revered on the grass but on TikTok. In
- 29:27Speaker 2: the next few minutes, if you'd like to win some
- 29:28Speaker 2: DHL Stormers tickets to that big game this weekend, I'm
- 29:31Speaker 2: looking for some questions for an unofficial press conference in
- 29:34Speaker 2: the next few is your flash drive. This is k
- 29:36Speaker 2: f laty four point five. It is Charlie booth. Beat
- 29:39Speaker 2: yourself up. It is on your show flash Drive KF
- 29:41Speaker 2: laty four point five. The manna are still here. We've
- 29:45Speaker 2: got coach Dobbo in the studio with Imad Khan as
- 29:47Speaker 2: Suleiman Hartzenburg. They're all here as well as Cassidy J. Nicholson,
- 29:51Speaker 2: who will be kicking off what is going to be
- 29:52Speaker 2: an unofficial press conference ahead of the big match against
- 29:55Speaker 2: Card of this weekend. Tickets are available to you, however,
- 29:59Speaker 2: you can win them if your question gets selected for
- 30:02Speaker 2: an unofficial press conference on the flash Drive. This is
- 30:05Speaker 2: going to be lovely to set the scene. Cassidy J. Nicholson,
- 30:08Speaker 2: our official sports journalist. Wow the question in.
- 30:12Speaker 6: That case, we're going to keep it cast Nicholson. It
- 30:14Speaker 6: feels more sporty, Nicholson. It feels more sporty. It feels
- 30:18Speaker 6: like I used to do a hundred meters sprint in
- 30:20Speaker 6: high school. So to start, I'm going to start with
- 30:23Speaker 6: a go sports so we know that we're unified.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Okay, this one's for you. Don't be nervous man.
- 30:37Speaker 6: So we know that when it comes to you know,
- 30:39Speaker 6: team sports in high school, more often than not, you
- 30:42Speaker 6: have a nickname.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Now we want to know, what's your worst nickname? One
- 30:47Speaker 3: that you just didn't smock?
- 30:49Speaker 2: Can we start with the first, the nickname that you
- 30:52Speaker 2: were known by me?
- 30:53Speaker 9: It's quite simply it's just I mean, that's that's money.
- 30:59Speaker 2: But there's no anybody decided to throw something else in
- 31:02Speaker 2: the bag there that you didn't.
- 31:03Speaker 9: Help me out.
- 31:05Speaker 4: It depends, it depends, I think who it is, because
- 31:09Speaker 4: it's one that smarter.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Smarter makes no sense. What's smarter about?
- 31:14Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 31:15Speaker 10: It's just like, you know, when you're in the boarding house,
- 31:17Speaker 10: all of a sudden, we'll just come about, I mean
- 31:20Speaker 10: everyone just a sound or something and it's like, oh, smarter,
- 31:25Speaker 10: you know, just.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Bring it in.
- 31:28Speaker 5: I don't.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I don't.
- 31:29Speaker 9: I didn't like that one.
- 31:30Speaker 2: You know what's going to happen. Coach knows about it now.
- 31:34Speaker 2: So whenever you do something the breakdown smarter?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Sorry not sorry?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Riding on?
- 31:44Speaker 6: Yes, Layman, Okay. If there were a movie about Coach
- 31:51Speaker 6: Doble next, I would play coach.
- 31:59Speaker 10: Oh not Vito, but I got the Vita first. Pins
- 32:07Speaker 10: is this like, is it going to be like a
- 32:09Speaker 10: satire or is it going.
- 32:10Speaker 3: To be like the documentary to give me? Yeah, Netflix.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Biography be careful here.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Selections.
- 32:23Speaker 10: I was going to say, I think in terms of
- 32:27Speaker 10: portraying the character and just like yes, being double, I
- 32:30Speaker 10: think maybe Sazzy Sandy in the team could be a potential,
- 32:33Speaker 10: you know, like just.
- 32:35Speaker 12: Like I was thinking more brock Harris, but just because
- 32:38Speaker 12: just because of my appearance, like in terms of facial.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Features, just appearance, Brock Harris the only thing beautiful.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Maybe they remember this, I remember it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Can I pick someone?
- 32:53Speaker 3: I would love you to pick someone in Hollywood football, but.
- 33:02Speaker 9: We need to think bigger.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Yeah exactly, yeah we thought no, no, no.
- 33:06Speaker 5: No, no, no love.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Can I give a suggestion, Jason Stathan, you know you've
- 33:18Speaker 3: got one for double.
- 33:21Speaker 6: If you could coach any other sports, which one do
- 33:24Speaker 6: you think you'd be good at?
- 33:27Speaker 9: Better than cheapest?
- 33:32Speaker 6: Uh?
- 33:35Speaker 1: You can't.
- 33:44Speaker 8: I think I think I coached cricket because that's individual talents,
- 33:47Speaker 8: then you be too good to coach.
- 33:50Speaker 9: Not a great answer, but I remember chess. Thanks, thanks
- 33:54Speaker 9: very much.
- 33:54Speaker 4: I'm just thinking, you know, is a deep thinker.
- 33:59Speaker 3: You're gonna have.
- 34:04Speaker 2: All right now from our winners of our competition. I'm
- 34:08Speaker 2: going to start off with Dominique Merits, who's posing a question.
- 34:13Speaker 2: This is for the players. Either one of you can
- 34:16Speaker 2: weigh in. I think I suppose so Layman, because you
- 34:19Speaker 2: you can do center as well. Right, you've played center,
- 34:22Speaker 2: not only wing and center, but like you're in there
- 34:24Speaker 2: as well. And and shmato, you're sorry, I mean I
- 34:30Speaker 2: can't now. Yeah, so, I mean you've been very close
- 34:35Speaker 2: to a scrum. Dominique had one of the most profound questions,
- 34:38Speaker 2: and we've selected it as our winner. One of our
- 34:39Speaker 2: winners today. What is the weirdest thing that you've heard
- 34:42Speaker 2: in a scrum? Look there, you see there's a lot
- 34:47Speaker 2: just by the way. I remind you this is a
- 34:48Speaker 2: family show. Good luck, let's go.
- 34:51Speaker 12: Obviously, the pressure upfront is immense, so there's a lot
- 34:56Speaker 12: of squeezing and pushing and things like that.
- 34:59Speaker 9: So I'm obviously very close.
- 35:02Speaker 12: I put the ball into the scrum, of course, and
- 35:05Speaker 12: uh yeah, every now and then, you know there's either
- 35:08Speaker 12: or or or coming up one coming out the back
- 35:11Speaker 12: as well, so that's yeah, one of those keep.
- 35:13Speaker 2: It together, be cool, be cool, Yes, And there's the lemon.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Anything weird anybody shouting us?
- 35:23Speaker 10: Not like in the scrum, but more like after like
- 35:26Speaker 10: someone said, you know, there was a funky smell in
- 35:28Speaker 10: there and like we don't know where where it was
- 35:31Speaker 10: coming from. So then they'll just be like, you know,
- 35:34Speaker 10: oh okay.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeahs Family Show. Yeah, yep, gotcha, Dominic Maritz,
- 35:41Speaker 2: you are a winner. Congratulations, goodness. All right, Johann had
- 35:46Speaker 2: a question here, and I'm going to play it out.
- 35:50Speaker 2: If you don't mind grabbing your headphones on this one,
- 35:52Speaker 2: you're gonna need it. Just check this out here. This
- 35:55Speaker 2: is from John. Let's take a lot which is streak.
- 36:00Speaker 9: Here just before kickoff.
- 36:02Speaker 5: If that would give you again and he'd win on Saturday.
- 36:08Speaker 8: No, if I guarantee the USC trophy, definitely the trophy,
- 36:12Speaker 8: not just the winn against one car. If we'll have
- 36:13Speaker 8: to do the out six, we look looking like the
- 36:17Speaker 8: bootprints far running around.
- 36:23Speaker 5: For the trophy.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Oh my word. Okay uh. And then a last one here, this.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Is from which teammate have the worst taste in music
- 36:37Speaker 5: or quirkiest pre match.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Rituals?
- 36:44Speaker 2: That's lizel our last winner today. All right, gentlemen, strange
- 36:49Speaker 2: pre game rituals or the weirdest taste in music when
- 36:52Speaker 2: they're rocking out, ready to go or listening to something
- 36:55Speaker 2: ahead of the game.
- 36:56Speaker 9: Can I just start off by saying we respect all
- 36:58Speaker 9: music type we love.
- 37:01Speaker 2: It's too late for that. Now you're in live radio.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I'm sorry, let's go for it.
- 37:04Speaker 12: But sometimes your pre match, you know, you want to
- 37:07Speaker 12: want to get in a good mood, and obviously we
- 37:12Speaker 12: everyone likes a certain type of music. But once the
- 37:16Speaker 12: Afrikaans Afrikaans songs come start coming out, I think that's
- 37:20Speaker 12: when you actually know it. Now, now is the time
- 37:21Speaker 12: to lock in, because that's who's who takes a lead
- 37:23Speaker 12: in the in the with the music, say it with
- 37:30Speaker 12: your chest.
- 37:30Speaker 10: It depends these theious but seems to seems to be
- 37:38Speaker 10: leading that. Yeah, I would say probably.
- 37:41Speaker 9: He's got a he's got a unique taste in music.
- 37:44Speaker 2: But when you say unique, you're talking about proper like.
- 37:48Speaker 9: Just give you it's a good mixes is Afrikaans is uh?
- 37:53Speaker 10: Music?
- 37:53Speaker 3: Taste is beatrice?
- 37:54Speaker 5: Man?
- 37:56Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 38:01Speaker 10: It's this I'm not I feel like that's a bit
- 38:04Speaker 10: too soft though, like maybe something a bit more like like.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Transph and Coke, Oh, like the Yevils. Okay, that makes sense, Lovely,
- 38:13Speaker 2: this is very good, and I mean you too, do
- 38:15Speaker 2: what do you listen to before a game?
- 38:17Speaker 9: You might I like to actually keep it calm. I
- 38:20Speaker 9: listen to.
- 38:23Speaker 12: Either some some rap or Beethoven. Yeah I was gonna no,
- 38:28Speaker 12: I just actually just put it on shuffle, put the
- 38:31Speaker 12: playlis on shuffle. So anything comes on, but it's usually
- 38:34Speaker 12: quite chilled. I don't like to get too hyped up
- 38:36Speaker 12: before for the game.
- 38:37Speaker 10: And so Lemon, that's the thing is my I think
- 38:41Speaker 10: my music tastes everywhere. I think specific. It's just like
- 38:45Speaker 10: it comes and goes, like if I like something, and
- 38:47Speaker 10: like if it's like some classical stuff, I don't mind
- 38:51Speaker 10: dipping my toes into that, you know what, maybe not
- 38:54Speaker 10: before the game. I would just keep like as you see,
- 38:56Speaker 10: like a calm. So it's a bit of everything, like
- 38:59Speaker 10: whatever it's playing.
- 39:00Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm down for you guys.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Trust your playlist. Yeah that's way too much trust for
- 39:04Speaker 2: one playlist.
- 39:05Speaker 11: Eh.
- 39:05Speaker 9: And it's spent a lot of time on that.
- 39:06Speaker 2: On that episode, Oh brick by brick you both today.
- 39:10Speaker 3: I like that, are you trying to get in with
- 39:14Speaker 3: the kids by clocking in?
- 39:15Speaker 2: Not at all? Sorry? Why are you looking at me?
- 39:17Speaker 2: Don't that? Okay? One one last thing from our coach,
- 39:20Speaker 2: and I just want to say thank you so much.
- 39:22Speaker 2: For coming through you. You are always welcome, especially ahead
- 39:25Speaker 2: of a must win game. This is where you come
- 39:27Speaker 2: to the flash drive and k F naty four point five.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Just the last note to all of our supporters to
- 39:32Speaker 2: come out and support you. How important will this be
- 39:34Speaker 2: for you and the boys.
- 39:35Speaker 8: It's it's incredible that there's something special building in that
- 39:37Speaker 8: stadium and the vibe. And I say, like I said earlier,
- 39:40Speaker 8: more people there, the better we play, the more fun
- 39:42Speaker 8: that people have.
- 39:43Speaker 9: And like we really are not saying this.
- 39:45Speaker 8: To be podcasts as you and car, I really appreciate
- 39:47Speaker 8: what you do for this team because I think it's
- 39:49Speaker 8: great Fuss City. We've got a world class stadium and
- 39:51Speaker 8: hopefully a world class team in a world class environment.
- 39:54Speaker 8: And not often we can say that inside forgoing cap
- 39:56Speaker 8: so it's lucky for so thank you very much for
- 39:58Speaker 8: promoting it and driving so people come watch we went,
- 40:01Speaker 8: well I went.
- 40:02Speaker 5: They might let you do.
- 40:04Speaker 3: What they do on the field. They'll make up on
- 40:07Speaker 3: TikTok exactly when the will win the TikTok.
- 40:09Speaker 2: You okay, this is good, Okay, it's win win anyway.
- 40:18Speaker 2: But honestly, Martin so Leman, I'm going to say this again,
- 40:22Speaker 2: don't ever lose this, this humility, this spark, and this
- 40:25Speaker 2: leadership you have, especially for where you come from. It's
- 40:28Speaker 2: the most important thing and it's really how you make
- 40:31Speaker 2: the people that you play for feel, not about any
- 40:35Speaker 2: other accolade. And I can feel that from both of you,
- 40:37Speaker 2: future leaders in the sport and in this country. So
- 40:40Speaker 2: to both your congratulations and all the best for Cardiff.
- 40:43Speaker 9: Thank you so much. Thanks for having us.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Thank you so much. We really appreciate it. And hopefully
- 40:48Speaker 4: you won't see you guys.
- 40:51Speaker 2: On the field soon you will, deftiny, don't worry. Actually
- 40:55Speaker 2: I have a backup scrum off and if Dobbert told you,
- 40:57Speaker 2: but I'm like the emergency. I mean, I know you
- 41:00Speaker 2: wanted lock. I'll see you well day, Marta and I
- 41:04Speaker 2: will have a conversation about that. Don't worry. There's going
- 41:06Speaker 2: to be a TikTok trained who will challenge shut On
- 41:09Speaker 2: and we'll be okay. But yes, DHL storm is up
- 41:11Speaker 2: in It's part of this week and grab your tickets.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Let's support the faithful, full the stadium and let's move
- 41:16Speaker 2: on to the next round. Let's do this thing. It's
- 41:19Speaker 2: going to be a bit of a merge between not
- 41:22Speaker 2: only the call, but then there's also going to be
- 41:25Speaker 2: the concept, and I just the one person that's stepping
- 41:27Speaker 2: up is Urban lunga Fault Halla, Iyoban Good and Co
- 41:32Speaker 2: and Cady hurry all right, So this is how goes. First,
- 41:36Speaker 2: let's do the concept and then after that you need
- 41:38Speaker 2: to pick a song. So whether you get the concept
- 41:39Speaker 2: right or wrong, you still have to remain happy because
- 41:41Speaker 2: you have to pick one of our tracks to play
- 41:43Speaker 2: after news. It's as simple as that. This is how
- 41:45Speaker 2: it goes. I've got two single word clues for you
- 41:47Speaker 2: and our prize. It's been rolling over for the past
- 41:50Speaker 2: couple of days. In fact, we've done three days six words.
- 41:53Speaker 2: It's an amazing experience. Two nights at Call Call Mountain Lodge,
- 41:58Speaker 2: and it's going to be a romantic set up on arrival,
- 42:01Speaker 2: Genevieve mcc to greet you, luxurious robes for your stay,
- 42:04Speaker 2: call cold steppers to keep, and a couple's massage to
- 42:07Speaker 2: make you never forget. That's all included. Good luck to you.
- 42:10Speaker 2: I've got two single word clues coming your way. Let's
- 42:12Speaker 2: see if you can figure it out. Do you want
- 42:14Speaker 2: to go first again? Cassidy? Sure?
- 42:17Speaker 3: Mm hmm price.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Price you said price, Eban, mmmm, discount discout get a
- 42:32Speaker 2: discount today, and you can get wrong. That's correct. Apologies,
- 42:36Speaker 2: apologies Urban Sorday. Okay. If you said I'm gonna go difference.
- 42:41Speaker 2: If she said price, I'm gonna get difference, ypen different.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Value value.
- 43:00Speaker 2: So I had to put the almost put the time
- 43:03Speaker 2: over there on you value Iban only this time is incorrect.
- 43:09Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Okay, I'm sorry, but you still tried,
- 43:12Speaker 2: and I appreciate you for that. I appreciate you so
- 43:14Speaker 2: much that I'm gonna get you to select one of
- 43:16Speaker 2: our tracks for the call as well. So you didn't
- 43:19Speaker 2: get it right, So I mean, thank you very much
- 43:21Speaker 2: for your guesses. But you know what, you can guess again,
- 43:24Speaker 2: and you never know when you're gonna go to the
- 43:26Speaker 2: back of the queue and come around again. It's kind
- 43:28Speaker 2: of like a peirs dispenser of guessing. That's what happens. Iban.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Here are our songs, Cassidy, yours first piece, because you
- 43:36Speaker 2: were the winner yesterday. What song do you think Irban
- 43:38Speaker 2: should select? Is it yours?
- 43:40Speaker 3: Okay, so we are.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Halfway through the week, so those good vibes can set
- 43:44Speaker 6: in so I've got us a leck a banger in
- 43:47Speaker 6: fact a banger rang.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Us relect.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Pietrice.
- 43:58Speaker 13: You know, I'm just gonna say that I had nothing
- 44:01Speaker 13: to do with the concept. And you know, when you
- 44:05Speaker 13: choose songs, just remember that Colin Cassidy gave you words
- 44:08Speaker 13: and they are the reason that you didn't win the concept.
- 44:13Speaker 2: See, it's like both a concept call. You know what
- 44:15Speaker 2: I'm saying. That's it. You see that everything's connected. There
- 44:21Speaker 2: are reasons everywhere Urban my song is Toto, one of
- 44:34Speaker 2: my favorite bands of all time. All the line because
- 44:40Speaker 2: you held the line for both the call and the
- 44:42Speaker 2: concept Urban which track should play afternows you choose Carl.
- 44:47Speaker 13: You've got a very nice song also, but I'm gonna
- 44:51Speaker 13: go with Theaters.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but thanks off for drying my man. Appreciate you
- 44:58Speaker 2: so much. Get into traffic and then uber snank the

- 54:21Speaker 2: switch the Hits Day edition.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Switch the hits at six, he need the milk.

- 55:08Speaker 2: I'll remember that guy hummed and he just started to.
- 55:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:13Speaker 2: You know what we did after that? We sent that
- 55:14Speaker 2: clip over to Borstal to see if they could sponsors
- 55:16Speaker 2: switch the yids at six. I told him there's an
- 55:18Speaker 2: opportunity of a lifetime. People are humming here all right,
- 55:21Speaker 2: a lot of people during winter. Borstal, you could use
- 55:24Speaker 2: your help. I haven't received any messages back yet. I'll
- 55:28Speaker 2: check with him, but if you'd like to hum to us,
- 55:30Speaker 2: please feel free and we'll try and figure it out

- 55:35Speaker 2: it out to you.
- 55:35Speaker 10: Then.
- 55:36Speaker 2: One of my favorite parts of the entire week is
- 55:38Speaker 2: when Cassidy gives you a chance to figure out what
- 55:40Speaker 2: she is humming to play that song. My best best
- 55:46Speaker 2: time of the week.
- 55:47Speaker 6: I want to know.
- 55:52Speaker 2: You ain't two nine for fist, you're nine for zero
- 55:55Speaker 2: justin Bieber your mind?
- 55:58Speaker 10: What do you mean?
- 55:58Speaker 2: It's on your show? The flat KFM ninety four point five.
- 56:01Speaker 2: My podcast is officially out. Episode three dropped just yesterday
- 56:05Speaker 2: and it's just all about health, one of the biggest
- 56:09Speaker 2: concerns of anybody nearing forty like I am, and I
- 56:11Speaker 2: needed to bring in a longevity and wellness professional. Doctor
- 56:15Speaker 2: Ben could see her to tell me a bit more
- 56:17Speaker 2: about everything from where I should be, what I should
- 56:20Speaker 2: be putting in my medicine cabinet, if anything, some of
- 56:23Speaker 2: the things that people are doing wrong at my age.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Why are we leaving our wildness for so late in
- 56:27Speaker 2: our lives? What are peptides? Should that be something that
- 56:31Speaker 2: should be considered? A lot of conversations, we had a
- 56:34Speaker 2: lot of different ones in one podcast. I think this
- 56:36Speaker 2: is the one where I guarantee you will learn something
- 56:39Speaker 2: about yourself about things out there, especially when it comes
- 56:43Speaker 2: to health and turning forty thirty forty Hacks, eight Expert Friends,
- 56:48Speaker 2: Brand New and one Brand News series forty.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Before forty forty Before forty with Carl Wasty Yes asterone.
- 56:57Speaker 2: And there's this phrase that people use. You know, women
- 57:00Speaker 2: go through menopause, yes, men go through menopause, yes. And
- 57:04Speaker 2: I'm hearing that it's a testosterone thing.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Correct.
- 57:07Speaker 14: I see so much in the field of men's health
- 57:11Speaker 14: where there's a lot of taboo around talking about it,
- 57:13Speaker 14: because you just seem soft. If you're like, oh, I
- 57:15Speaker 14: have low testosterone, No one wants to admit that, right.
- 57:18Speaker 14: I always want to give these guys a hug because
- 57:19Speaker 14: you see them going through life and they're achieving so
- 57:21Speaker 14: many amazing things, and they're fighting their bodies like it's
- 57:24Speaker 14: in spite of where they're at, right, And it's like
- 57:25Speaker 14: I saw the stat last night, seventy nine percent of
- 57:27Speaker 14: suicides I'm men, A large number of my depressed patients
- 57:30Speaker 14: have a low testosterone. There's a direct correlation between low
- 57:32Speaker 14: testosterone and poor mental health. When we fix the testosterone
- 57:35Speaker 14: by whatever means that is, that's not necessarily TRT, but
- 57:37Speaker 14: it's oftentimes it is. They come off with antidepressants and
- 57:40Speaker 14: they're totally fine. Now I'm not saying like, oh, if
- 57:42Speaker 14: you're depressed, not injecting yourself with some oil from the gym, right,
- 57:45Speaker 14: That's not what I'm saying at all. Have the tests done. Actually,
- 57:47Speaker 14: it's okay to just slow down and be like, my
- 57:49Speaker 14: hormones might not be where they need to be. It
- 57:51Speaker 14: doesn't make me less of a man.
- 57:52Speaker 2: If there's somebody who is thinking, I'm noticing some things
- 57:55Speaker 2: in myself, what are those things just generically that's happening.
- 57:59Speaker 14: I would say the numbernumber one early warning shot would
- 58:01Speaker 14: be a decreased test for life. You don't really complete
- 58:04Speaker 14: tasks that you used to. You don't have the same
- 58:06Speaker 14: drive away up in the wonder how am I going
- 58:07Speaker 14: to get through this day. There's many things that can
- 58:09Speaker 14: cause that, but testosterone is harm the list. The second
- 58:11Speaker 14: would be disrupted sleep, You're just not sleeping as well
- 58:13Speaker 14: as you used to. And then the third would be
- 58:15Speaker 14: mood changes. You just depressed all the time. Things that
- 58:18Speaker 14: used to bring your joy are just you're ambivalent, you
- 58:20Speaker 14: don't really care. Then there's the more physical where it's
- 58:22Speaker 14: like you don't recover well from exercise, you've lost a
- 58:24Speaker 14: ton of muscle mass, the strength of your erections has decreased,
- 58:27Speaker 14: you have decreased libido, so you're just not interested in
- 58:29Speaker 14: your wife anymore. It's like those are more physical and
- 58:32Speaker 14: may occur a little bit more down the line, but
- 58:34Speaker 14: those are definitely warning signs.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Doctor Ben could see as I said, straight shooter, and
- 58:39Speaker 2: at the same time so accurate in his analysis. Do
- 58:42Speaker 2: you remember that podcast episode is for general informational purposes
- 58:46Speaker 2: only and does not constitute medical advice. It is not
- 58:48Speaker 2: intended to diagnose, treat, care, or prevent any condition. Always
- 58:51Speaker 2: consult your personal, qualified healthcare professional before making any important
- 58:55Speaker 2: health related decisions. And go listen to episode three of
- 58:59Speaker 2: Forty Before Forty. It's all about health and everything that
- 59:03Speaker 2: you probably would be concerned about at this age. I'm
- 59:07Speaker 2: turning forty in the fourteenth of June, and a lot
- 59:09Speaker 2: of things that I've been concerned about interested in is
- 59:13Speaker 2: part of this podcast, and one of them is that
- 59:15Speaker 2: have you noticed that when you turn this age that
- 59:18Speaker 2: making friends is so hard? And keeping friends? I think
- 59:24Speaker 2: this is the time of our lives where I feel
- 59:25Speaker 2: like it's just about acquaintances and people that we just
- 59:28Speaker 2: happened to see. We make coffee dates, we never ever
- 59:31Speaker 2: actually follow through with. Why is that I needed to
- 59:34Speaker 2: bring in a relationship expert. Her name is Shelly Lewin
- 59:38Speaker 2: and she'll be joining you for Forty Before forty Episode four,
- 59:41Speaker 2: which is all about connection and friendship. And yes, it's
- 59:46Speaker 2: such a vague question, it's so bold as well. How
- 59:48Speaker 2: do we make friends when you're.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Vulnerable with someone?
- 59:51Speaker 2: In small layers like the onion, you.
- 59:53Speaker 14: Reveal slowly over time, over time, over time, that vulnerability
- 59:58Speaker 14: is what connects that to people.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: So you can't really fast track it.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: You can't fast track connection. That's the thing.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: It's like.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: One of my favorite quotes is.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Check out Shelleylou and episode four that'll be tomorrow and
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: forty before forty coming your way, and the episode drop
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: and I'll give you some good bits on the flash
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: drive tomorrow. But still out there is the episode about
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: finance for forty before forty. Parenting is out there. Health
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: that doctor Ben could say is out there tomorrow. It's
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: all about friendship and still a couple more episodes to
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: go before my birthday. And I want to make sure
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: you get forty hacks that'll be great for any time
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: of your life. For me, it's before forty for you
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: any time. It's going to add a lot of value,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: knock down a lot of those gatekeepers who have been
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: holding information and not actually sharing it with you. I
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: want these experts to make it happen. And that's what's

- 1:06:14Speaker 2: all right. A is terrible, B is average, C is
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: dropped in gorgeous. You are C.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: I see what you did there. I see what you
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: did there.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I'll fool for that. We are really good at thirting
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: with ryby players. By the way you are, You're not
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: shockingly good. Is this why John Dobson likes you so much? Cassidy?
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: Oh?

- 1:06:49Speaker 4: I'm so sorry I that.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Likes Cassidy.
- 1:06:53Speaker 13: I know we don't share what happens to you, right,
- 1:06:56Speaker 13: But he walks right past me and goes, I'm like, coach,
- 1:06:59Speaker 13: you can sit there. Yeah, everyone calls him coach. I'm
- 1:07:03Speaker 13: I'm a coach. You can sit day. No way at
- 1:07:05Speaker 13: first books there, he goes.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: What can I say if a man is over the

- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Good you exactly. It's Ryan Ahmen, hallo, It's Ryan ahen Man.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: I mean, I'm glad he got he got the fact
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: that I called him Jason Statham. That's what he was
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: feeling that he was blushing at one point. Let's change
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: the subject.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Maybe you could be his book one day.
