Transcript
- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome to jag Zam this Wednesday.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I'm kind Nannie Stevens, Brian Sexton, and John Oser are
- 0:21Speaker 2: with me today. We're gonna talk about Jaguars preparing this
- 0:23Speaker 2: week's take on the Vikings here at Everbanks Stadium. But first,
- 0:27Speaker 2: the trade deadline came and went yesterday, so we will
- 0:30Speaker 2: start off with big thing number one, which is deadline day. Originally,
- 0:33Speaker 2: many people considering that the Jaguars were going to be
- 0:36Speaker 2: sellers but actually buyers as they're bringing in quarterback CJ.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Beth or Brian is to.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Someone that's familiar with this program, but adding to the
- 0:45Speaker 2: quarterback room probably wasn't something we thought was going to happen.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Well in indication obviously that the shoulder that has been
- 0:52Speaker 3: bothering Trevor Lawrence said Sunday the hit that he took
- 0:56Speaker 3: in the game in Philadelphia might be an issue. John,
- 0:59Speaker 3: I don't think you'd go and bring c. J. Bethard
- 1:02Speaker 3: back into your quarterback room. I mean, because they've got
- 1:04Speaker 3: to sign him from the practice squad to the active
- 1:06Speaker 3: roster for three games. You wouldn't make that move if
- 1:09Speaker 3: you didn't think there wasn't a chance that you might
- 1:11Speaker 3: need him.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you're doing this, cjson makes sense. He
- 1:15Speaker 4: knows the playbook, he brang him in. It certainly makes
- 1:18Speaker 4: Trevor Lawrence a storyline the rest of the week. I'm
- 1:21Speaker 4: not particularly surprised that they didn't make any other moves.
- 1:24Speaker 5: They'd already made moves.
- 1:25Speaker 4: They'd already traded Cam Robinson, ro Robinson Harris, which were
- 1:27Speaker 4: the two ones that made the most sense. You know,
- 1:32Speaker 4: if we get a chance to see Mac Jones, which
- 1:34Speaker 4: it might, that storyline for the rest of the week,
- 1:37Speaker 4: it would be an interesting week around here.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Well, you remember last year, Kay, that the litany of injuries, right,
- 1:42Speaker 3: it was the ankle, the knee, he had, the concussion,
- 1:44Speaker 3: and the shoulder. I mean, Trevor Lawrence didn't practice, tried
- 1:48Speaker 3: to play in most of those games. I think the
- 1:50Speaker 3: only game he didn't play was the game after the
- 1:53Speaker 3: Buccaneers game, the Panthers game. But he had a laundry
- 1:56Speaker 3: list of injuries, John and tried to make a goal
- 1:58Speaker 3: of it.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Well he can play, he'll play.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I also think it, I guess calls into discussion how
- 2:07Speaker 4: much he was sore, how much he was bothered.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Last week.
- 2:11Speaker 4: He was the last guy that came out of a
- 2:12Speaker 4: tunnel and in the second in the second half on Sunday,
- 2:16Speaker 4: you do wonder what kind of pain he was in,
- 2:18Speaker 4: what he was playing through on Sunday, knowing Trevor will never.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Know that and he did play through.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That's a good point to mention whatever injury probably the
- 2:26Speaker 2: first half. We saw him play better in the second half,
- 2:28Speaker 2: And actually Trevor talked postgame about any injuries he was
- 2:31Speaker 2: dealing with.
- 2:33Speaker 6: Pall will beat up on Sun of the year, but
- 2:37Speaker 6: you know, relatively all right, So we'll kind of assess
- 2:40Speaker 6: obviously tomorrow morning, some some sore no sets in and
- 2:43Speaker 6: we'll see.
- 2:44Speaker 7: What we're dealing with.
- 2:45Speaker 6: But you know, so able to finish the game and
- 2:48Speaker 6: feel okay, And I know there's a lot of guys
- 2:50Speaker 6: dealing with stuff and we just gotta keep pushing through
- 2:51Speaker 6: it that time of the year, in the middle of
- 2:52Speaker 6: the season, and it's stuff.
- 2:55Speaker 2: It's Trevor Lawren's post game against the Eagles. What's something
- 2:57Speaker 2: we'll keep an eye on, see what he battles through
- 2:59Speaker 2: this week. Big thing Number two gonna be strength to weakness.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Other injuries in that game to the offensive line. Went
- 3:06Speaker 2: into the week thinking that was probably a strength of
- 3:08Speaker 2: the team, but after creating a lay Cam Robinson and
- 3:10Speaker 2: some of the injuries suffered against the Eagles now one
- 3:12Speaker 2: of the areas of need. Maybe Anton Harrison talked about
- 3:15Speaker 2: some of the losses.
- 3:17Speaker 8: All we stayed together. Uh from beginning, we all together,
- 3:20Speaker 8: We all got each other back. We trusting everybody. So
- 3:23Speaker 8: that's why when guys go down, we trusting the guys
- 3:26Speaker 8: that's coming up and go and play. So just things
- 3:28Speaker 8: like that helps a lot and makes things easier. But
- 3:31Speaker 8: we just all go out there and just play a
- 3:33Speaker 8: hundred percent every every try to go every play, every
- 3:36Speaker 8: snap a hundred percent and then see what happens.
- 3:40Speaker 2: John Anton Harrison talking about himself, he had a knee injury,
- 3:42Speaker 2: came back into the game brand and Sheriff's been playing
- 3:44Speaker 2: through injury as well. The offensive line, Uh, they've been
- 3:47Speaker 2: dealing with a lot lost Cooper Hodges as well well.
- 3:50Speaker 4: If it's funny and this league, uh, depth is depth
- 3:53Speaker 4: until it's not an and it I I think if
- 3:57Speaker 4: it felt like a deep, uh cohesive group two weeks
- 4:02Speaker 4: ago and now it feels like a thin group that's
- 4:06Speaker 4: got to learn to play together. So your quarterbacks out,
- 4:11Speaker 4: your wide receiver, Christian Kirk's out.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Boy, what a difference three weeks make.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It's gonna test the offensive line, and I'm not sure
- 4:19Speaker 4: what to expect because we're still gonna be looking at
- 4:21Speaker 4: his or Cleveland on the injury report this week, I
- 4:24Speaker 4: would think Brandon Sheriff plays Brian, but it's that time
- 4:29Speaker 4: of year, in a that type of season.
- 4:31Speaker 7: Well, I hope Anton plays.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I mean, this is a guy who was battling a
- 4:34Speaker 3: knee injury and it looked at times like he was
- 4:36Speaker 3: struggling to move. He did finish, just like he played
- 4:38Speaker 3: all last year with the shoulder injury. And talking about
- 4:42Speaker 3: Sheriff on the right side of that offensive line too,
- 4:44Speaker 3: played with foot and ankle, and now he's playing with
- 4:47Speaker 3: a knee.
- 4:47Speaker 7: So they have a lot of issues.
- 4:49Speaker 3: And they face a Vikings front that has twenty seven sacks.
- 4:54Speaker 3: They have three players with at least five, so they
- 4:56Speaker 3: can come from a lot.
- 4:56Speaker 7: Of different places.
- 4:58Speaker 3: The focus is gonna be on getting you know, Blake
- 4:59Speaker 3: Ham and Van Landon and anybody else that they can
- 5:05Speaker 3: pull up from the practice squad ready to go because
- 5:08Speaker 3: they're perilously.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Then all right, our final big thing is going to
- 5:11Speaker 2: be so close yet so far with these losses obviously
- 5:15Speaker 2: very frustrating, but the Jaguars seemingly are right there, having
- 5:19Speaker 2: a chance late in these games. Don Peterson talked about
- 5:21Speaker 2: that frustration of being close yet far away.
- 5:25Speaker 9: Just never know when those plays are gonna come, and
- 5:28Speaker 9: you know those moments are gonna come in the game,
- 5:30Speaker 9: and so your awareness as a coach, your awareness is
- 5:36Speaker 9: a player. You know, we've got to be on the
- 5:38Speaker 9: same page, we've got to communicate all those things. But
- 5:43Speaker 9: it does encourage you that you can play with these
- 5:47Speaker 9: guys and quite frankly, you eliminate a few mistakes. We
- 5:54Speaker 9: don't give them thirteen points off the turnovers, and the
- 5:58Speaker 9: week before we don't give them fourteen points. It's off
- 6:00Speaker 9: at turnovers. Things could be different.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Brand I know that was.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Your question to Doug and kind of got a loaded
- 6:10Speaker 2: answer back. But it is frustrating because you feel like
- 6:12Speaker 2: they're so close.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Well, it's why I said at the end of Monday show,
- 6:16Speaker 3: I think this is the breakthrough week coming here the
- 6:18Speaker 3: jaguarz aard at home. It's salute the service they've been
- 6:21Speaker 3: close to the last two weeks against two really good teams,
- 6:24Speaker 3: the Packers and the Eagles. Now injuries notwithstanding, and we've
- 6:27Speaker 3: got a quarterback that we've got to talk about as well.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I just felt like, down twenty two to nothing, and
- 6:35Speaker 3: then they got a play that went their way and
- 6:38Speaker 3: they battled back and Devon Hamilton made that key third
- 6:41Speaker 3: down tackle that force the fifty seven yard field goal
- 6:44Speaker 3: and he had a shot. I felt like this was
- 6:46Speaker 3: a team that was close, and I got the sense
- 6:48Speaker 3: Doug did too.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I hope they are. It's a funny team over the
- 6:54Speaker 4: last three years. They tried to learn how to win
- 6:57Speaker 4: early in twenty twenty two, and then they learned how
- 6:59Speaker 4: to win.
- 7:00Speaker 5: And we're a.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Scrappy, gutty, you know, end of the game team for
- 7:04Speaker 4: about a season's worth of games and now they're not.
- 7:08Speaker 5: So are they close?
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yes, they're close, but they've also been close five times
- 7:15Speaker 4: this year and in every game. So what's gonna be
- 7:18Speaker 4: the thing that gets them over the top? Is is
- 7:20Speaker 4: it a break without the starting quarterback? You hope they
- 7:26Speaker 4: have c You hope they had that kind of resiliency
- 7:28Speaker 4: and I d I I don't want to even pessimistic,
- 7:31Speaker 4: but five losses in the last two minutes.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Uh, that's sort of their identity right now. And I
- 7:35Speaker 5: don't know how you break that.
- 7:37Speaker 2: All right, stay with us here on Jackzam. Coming up
- 7:39Speaker 2: after the break, we'll go over a little this or that.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We look at some potential changes coming.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Up this week.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Jag Zam brought to you in part by Fields Auto Group,
- 7:58Speaker 2: Jacksonville's premier luxury auto group. You can go to Fieldsauto
- 8:02Speaker 2: dot com to check it out.
- 8:05Speaker 1: This school that, this school, welcome back into Jagvam.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Some injuries suffered for this Jaguars team against the Eagles,
- 8:19Speaker 2: so some more changes.
- 8:20Speaker 1: We also saw some changes due to the injuries the week.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Before that, So let's talk a little this or that.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I looked at some of the snapcounts I talked yesterday.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I thought Treylon Walker should have been playing a bit more.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I just want to see him on the field. But
- 8:31Speaker 2: also some of the numbers that stuck out to me
- 8:33Speaker 2: were Brent and Strange and Monterrek wester Brown, both of
- 8:37Speaker 2: them playing limited amounts. And I think I was surprised
- 8:40Speaker 2: by both of those things.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But I didn't know.
- 8:42Speaker 2: If either of you were surprised by either of those
- 8:44Speaker 2: or felt like one of the one or both of
- 8:46Speaker 2: them should get some more playing time.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Well, surprised by Uh. Strange, But again, this offense plays
- 8:55Speaker 4: based on looks and what they think they're going to
- 8:58Speaker 4: get from the defense. So y it seemed they would
- 9:02Speaker 4: go more twelve personnel, meaning two tight ends, after they
- 9:06Speaker 4: had success with it the week before and considering they
- 9:08Speaker 4: were down some uh, Christian Kirk.
- 9:11Speaker 5: And Gabe Davis a a receiver.
- 9:13Speaker 4: But Uh, evidently the looks what they thought they're gonnaet
- 9:16Speaker 4: from Eagle's defense.
- 9:17Speaker 5: They went with a lot.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Of of of their normal situations and as a result,
- 9:22Speaker 4: Brenton played nine snaps.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Uh.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I don't think from based on what Doug said Monday.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Sometimes situations like that, Brian get away from the coaches
- 9:34Speaker 4: during the games, just because you're trying to, Hey, what's
- 9:37Speaker 4: our best play here?
- 9:39Speaker 5: What do we like best here?
- 9:40Speaker 4: And all of a sudden you look up and realize
- 9:42Speaker 4: you've been in this personnel package that you thought thought
- 9:45Speaker 4: and you didn't get Brenton strange in that's sort of
- 9:49Speaker 4: how this staff goes about it. They go about it
- 9:52Speaker 4: based on what are our best looks, not necessarily how
- 9:55Speaker 4: can we get X guy the ball? They like it
- 9:57Speaker 4: to happen on organically, and I think that's what happened
- 9:59Speaker 4: with Brenton's Strange, although I think they would like to
- 10:02Speaker 4: have that over.
- 10:04Speaker 3: If people are wondering why we're talking about the backup
- 10:06Speaker 3: tight end not getting enough snaps, I don't know if
- 10:09Speaker 3: they have followed the storyline.
- 10:11Speaker 7: Brenton Strange has become a really key player. He finishes blocks.
- 10:14Speaker 3: He's not just a guy who can catch the ball.
- 10:18Speaker 7: He's a tempo setter for you.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Really, he's a really good football player and the kind
- 10:23Speaker 3: of guy that you feel confident.
- 10:24Speaker 7: In where his career is headed.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So, yeah, twelve snaps or nine snaps just not enough
- 10:31Speaker 3: for him. The other guy was Brown, And to be honest,
- 10:35Speaker 3: I thought when Campbell came back, Brown would go to
- 10:37Speaker 3: the other side of the field and you just go
- 10:39Speaker 3: with him.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Nothing against Derby, but he's an older guy.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And you saw last week the Eagles went right at him,
- 10:45Speaker 3: you know, third series, key, third down, a twenty yard pickup.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I mean they said aj Brown had said go find
- 10:51Speaker 3: the old guy, and he did right, and the forty
- 10:54Speaker 3: six yarder and the touchdown. It was Darby, Darby, Darby,
- 10:56Speaker 3: Darby Darby. I'm not sure that Monterek Brown is a
- 10:59Speaker 3: shutdown corner. I just think he's a young player with
- 11:03Speaker 3: a lot more upside and I want to see more
- 11:05Speaker 3: from him.
- 11:06Speaker 7: I'm gonna ride with.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Him or Trey Prince give me those young legs out
- 11:10Speaker 3: there to chase those guys.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Yeah, they've sort of stuck to this.
- 11:13Speaker 4: When they make changes like that, they're gonna rotate it
- 11:17Speaker 4: in and they're gonna sort of make it so it's
- 11:22Speaker 4: this is not the reason, but so that it's not
- 11:24Speaker 4: really noticeable that you're making a change.
- 11:26Speaker 5: But look, at some.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Point, you need to play the guys that you drafted,
- 11:33Speaker 4: the young guys that you're developing at some point.
- 11:35Speaker 3: At this point, yeah, two and seven, in particular, where
- 11:39Speaker 3: the playoffs are not in focus, you were, your focus
- 11:42Speaker 3: has to be on developing your roster and making sure
- 11:44Speaker 3: that these guys that you brought in here can play.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Now, the coaches are gonna argue with that. They always do.
- 11:49Speaker 7: They only think very you know, week to week. That's
- 11:52Speaker 7: their job.
- 11:53Speaker 3: The personnel folks are the ones that are saying, hey,
- 11:55Speaker 3: let's let's talk about where this thing is headed. So
- 11:57Speaker 3: I kind of understand both sides of the argument. But
- 11:59Speaker 3: I just but I think that Monterek Brown and Trey
- 12:01Speaker 3: Prince give you more than.
- 12:02Speaker 7: Ronald Darby does.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I agree.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I think you need to see them develop, and they
- 12:05Speaker 2: also give you a better chance right now. So I
- 12:07Speaker 2: agree with you, Monterrek Brown. I was surprised to see
- 12:09Speaker 2: his son.
- 12:10Speaker 7: Good, good player for you this year.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I agree.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Another question, we saw Austin Trammell get activated to the
- 12:15Speaker 2: roster and then had that unfortunate incident on the very
- 12:19Speaker 2: first kick of the game. So for me, do you
- 12:22Speaker 2: want to see Parker back on special teams.
- 12:24Speaker 1: A little bit? We thought?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I guess the thought was he'll be so involved in
- 12:27Speaker 2: the offense he can't do both. I'd like to see
- 12:30Speaker 2: him back doing that, just for my own sanity's sake.
- 12:32Speaker 7: So what do you guys, I'll be quick.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Ninety six yard punt return is the longest punt return
- 12:36Speaker 3: touchdown in Jaguars history.
- 12:38Speaker 7: Yes, give me Parker Washington back there.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Maybe Trammell's a guy who's got the ability to do
- 12:43Speaker 3: that and just had a bad play.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Okay, I've seen it from Parker.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it's it's gonna be Parker's first start.
- 12:51Speaker 4: I'm sure there was going to be a lot for
- 12:53Speaker 4: him on offense, and they wanted to make sure that
- 12:56Speaker 4: they did no reload him for a day. But you know,
- 13:00Speaker 4: sometimes guys make the team and are involved with you
- 13:03Speaker 4: because they're the best guys to be involved with you
- 13:06Speaker 4: be on the team.
- 13:06Speaker 3: By the way, I like Trammel. I enjoyed watching him
- 13:09Speaker 3: play and they went to him on that key.
- 13:11Speaker 2: And he picked up after that happened to have that
- 13:13Speaker 2: happen to bounce back.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so maybe give him. He's probably a better route
- 13:18Speaker 3: runner at this point in his career than Parker is.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Maybe give him more snaps on offense. Let Parker handle
- 13:23Speaker 3: the big explosiveness.
- 13:24Speaker 1: All right, stay with us here on Jagzam.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Coming up after the break, we'll talk a little bit
- 13:28Speaker 2: about what's going on in the division. For eleven years,
- 13:41Speaker 2: dream Finders Homes have been proud to call themselves the
- 13:43Speaker 2: official home builder of the jacksonvill Jaguars. Visit dreamfindersomes dot
- 13:46Speaker 2: com for all of the available inventory and go Jags.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Welcome back to jag Zam.
- 13:54Speaker 2: We're gonna talk a little bit about what's going on
- 13:56Speaker 2: in the division because things are not great for everybody either,
- 13:59Speaker 2: so let's all commiserate a little bit together. The Titans, though,
- 14:03Speaker 2: did get a win over the Patriots another franchise. There's
- 14:05Speaker 2: a lot of two and seventeens out there and Titans.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Mason Rudolph's been in there for a little bit, so
- 14:13Speaker 2: interesting to see what they're going to end up doing there.
- 14:15Speaker 7: Well, he's been in because Levis has been injury.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yes, but I am curious what they might end up
- 14:20Speaker 2: doing with that because it wasn't going great before that.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 14:22Speaker 3: If you're Brian Callahan, that's the balance you have, right,
- 14:24Speaker 3: and you want to win some games and instill the
- 14:27Speaker 3: sense of what you're trying to build there. At the
- 14:29Speaker 3: same time, if Will Levis isn't your.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Guy, I mean you came in with Will Levis was
- 14:34Speaker 2: there already, so it wasn't like he picked him.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Right, Yet, you've got to know what you got and
- 14:38Speaker 3: how are you going to find that out of Mason
- 14:39Speaker 3: Rudolph's play.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Well, if you're Brian Callahan too.
- 14:42Speaker 4: In this day and age, and I'm not privy of
- 14:44Speaker 4: what's going on in Tennessee, but it's a.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Much quicker trigger world in the NFL.
- 14:51Speaker 4: You don't want to go one in sixteen, yeah, and
- 14:54Speaker 4: I'm not saying they will, but you want to get
- 14:56Speaker 4: a couple of wins because so much of so the
- 15:00Speaker 4: decision making now from some owners is does it feel
- 15:03Speaker 4: like you're going in the right direction, you know, so
- 15:06Speaker 4: if you're a first year head coach, you want to
- 15:07Speaker 4: get a few so that it looks okay, so that
- 15:10Speaker 4: you're there in a second year. So because there's not
- 15:13Speaker 4: necessarily five year plan, five year contract league anymore.
- 15:16Speaker 5: So I would think there's a little bit of, hey,
- 15:17Speaker 5: we gotta get some wins.
- 15:18Speaker 3: You want players to buy in for sure that you're doing.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And you look at what Baker Mayfield has done, and
- 15:23Speaker 3: what is this done his fourth team? And Sam Darnold
- 15:25Speaker 3: in Minnesota, He's on his fourth team in seven NFL seasons,
- 15:29Speaker 3: So maybe you think you can go find another veteran
- 15:31Speaker 3: after this season.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Another quarterback questions as well.
- 15:35Speaker 2: In Indianapolis, we saw the Colts decided they were going
- 15:38Speaker 2: to go with Joe Flacco instead of Anthony Richardson after
- 15:41Speaker 2: some issues with him. But then they had their worst
- 15:43Speaker 2: offensive performance of the season with Joe Flacco in there,
- 15:45Speaker 2: so bears to mention maybe.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's not just the quarterback. There's some other issues going
- 15:49Speaker 1: on there as well.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Well.
- 15:50Speaker 3: We saw first him with Joe Flacco, you know, last
- 15:53Speaker 3: year when he had a great defense, you know how
- 15:56Speaker 3: well he could play. And obviously the situation there is
- 16:00Speaker 3: not as good in India as it was in Cleveland
- 16:03Speaker 3: for him last year. And at some point a guy
- 16:05Speaker 3: who's fifteen sixteen years in the league starts to show, well,
- 16:08Speaker 3: there's a reason why I was sitting on my couch.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I was really good when you needed me for three
- 16:13Speaker 3: or four games, right, But if you need me to
- 16:15Speaker 3: be the guy the rest of the.
- 16:16Speaker 7: Way, I might not be your guy.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Well in as bad game, Kenny as the Vikings, who
- 16:19Speaker 4: are good and guess what they're coming to town.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Look when you're if we're.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Looking at the division right now as the Jags, realistically,
- 16:29Speaker 4: Jazz's not going to win the division this year, so
- 16:30Speaker 4: you're thinking about what does this mean for teams in
- 16:32Speaker 4: the long haul, flack of Anthony Richardson whatever.
- 16:36Speaker 5: For the Colts, what they'd figure out is do they
- 16:38Speaker 5: believe in Anthony richards had going forward?
- 16:39Speaker 4: And it's funny how quickly times changed in the NFL
- 16:45Speaker 4: this offseason. You looked at this division and thought, well,
- 16:48Speaker 4: there's a division with four young quarterbacks. We were all
- 16:51Speaker 4: ascending and most divisions don't have for ascending young quarterbacks
- 16:58Speaker 4: because it's a hard lead to play a position, and
- 17:00Speaker 4: the AC South doesn't seem to either.
- 17:02Speaker 7: Yep, seems to NFC North does must be nice.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Now stay with us here, we'll talk up a little
- 17:08Speaker 2: bit about what's coming up the rest of the week

- 17:45Speaker 4: Come on?
- 17:56Speaker 7: What the Jags trail by twelve twenty eight to sixteen?
- 18:00Speaker 7: Trevor's try and run it in there.
- 18:01Speaker 3: He's into the airs, a touchdown, a touchdown run God
- 18:05Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence and it's a one possession game.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Anton Harrison miked up against the Eagles and there was
- 18:13Speaker 2: an eventful, unfortunately eventful night for the offensive line. Anton
- 18:16Speaker 2: battling through injury, came back into that game. So we'll
- 18:19Speaker 2: keep an eye on that throughout the week, see where
- 18:20Speaker 2: he's at, whether he'll be able to go.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I hope next year that he can play a full
- 18:25Speaker 3: year healthy, because he's a.
- 18:26Speaker 7: Really good football player. Last year it was the shoulder,
- 18:29Speaker 7: this year it's the knee. And he's a cornerstone.
- 18:32Speaker 3: He's one of those guys you may not know what
- 18:33Speaker 3: you've got at left tackle, but you know what you
- 18:35Speaker 3: got it right.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's important. You might take your right and put.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Him on the movie.
- 18:38Speaker 3: He could he played left tackle in college. Maybe he's
- 18:41Speaker 3: your solution there. If Walker Little isn't really a good football.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Player, Yeah, good kid too. Yes, I hope he's healthy.
- 18:49Speaker 2: All right, We'll keep an eye on all things injuries,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and of course we'll be back on Thursday to look
- 18:53Speaker 2: at what the Vikings are going to bring to town
- 18:55Speaker 2: on Sunday,
