- 0:14SPEAKER_01: What's going on, Sports Minds?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: It's your boy MJ coming at you with another episode of the Fantasy Fumble.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: I'm here with my co-host and friend over here, Joe.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Joe, how the hell are you doing today, Birdman?
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I'm doing very well, Manny.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm uh two and one in five leagues.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: And of course, you know, I'm 0-3 in your champions league.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: That hurts.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I'm in a rough spot right now because I have another tough matchup this week.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: But generally speaking, I'm doing great.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm very, I'm very happy with all my teams, even my 0-3 team.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of things I couldn't predict, and that's that's the name of the game.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: How are you doing?
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm doing uh good mostly.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: You know, uh I'm one in my worst record is one and two, you know, and and I like most people have the fantasy blues with certain teams, you know, certain players are not showing up or you know, injuries are are taking over, but uh for the most part, a majority of my teams are doing really well, and uh, you know, I'm just really taking it, you know, step by step and actually doing what I do, which is trading and making making moves, baby.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Make a lot of moves, I've seen it, yeah.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And your teams do look good.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: You know, I I I check out everyone's team, and you and your team, all the champions' teams look really good, um, which is which is tough when you're 0-3.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: But uh my matchup this week, like I said, is tough.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: But I've been looking at at all your teams and all the moves you're making, and your squads look really good.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And one and two isn't even that bad.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's so much time left.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I've won a couple years starting 0-3, so I'm not worried about it yet.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: One more loss, and I will be worried about it.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: But hey, I still got the other five teams, so we'll see how it works out.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Well, if you get another one, you know, uh where you can go for a surplus of goods, yeah.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: For a desperation loot.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: If I go 0-4, you will start to see some desperate moves, and I'd love if you could accommodate me with that.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I I'll see what I can do, my friend.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, because if you get if you get five or six, you're kind of out.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, definitely six for sure, but you know, it's it's gonna be like, you know, you start 0-4, you gotta make some fucking moves before it's too late.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and a lot of guys don't realize that, you know, and this is something that I like to preach to to my guys in my leagues, and they think I'm just telling them this because I want to trade with them.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: And the answer is yes, I do want to trade with you, but it's not the only reason.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: The reason is I trade to stay alive because I see trends before they happen.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm like, uh, you know, what's that beautiful mind?
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just kidding.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Uh, it's autism.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: I'm just playing.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Uh no, but seriously, it's like you, you, you when your team is not doing great and you have a superstar, and if your superstar shits the bed, that's one guy that you're can you're you're banking on having 30 points from that you're not getting anything.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: And if you if your team is hurting and you trade that superstar for two good players, two good starters, and those two good starters give you 15 points.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: That's 30.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: The 30 points that you needed ended up coming from those two players.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: So, what guys guys don't realize is that you're one injury or away, one injury away, or one bad mood away from basically either losing your matchup or your season.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, and think about how many games are decided by five or ten points.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: And um, I've been talking with you and Savage about trading CD Lamb because I know that time is coming.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: I you know, I almost did it last week, I almost did it this week, just because when you look at your matchup and you're like, as you just said, I can trade him and get two guys that are gonna get me 30, opposed to CD by himself getting me 20.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: You know, it sucks, but there comes a time when you might have to do that.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: When when your studs get injured, because you know, I got Pacheco on the bench, he's probably not coming back anytime soon.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: You got to make some moves.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, agreed, agreed.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: It's it's unfortunate, but it's uh it's part of the game, right?
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: You gotta try to stay alive and you gotta go out swinging because if you just sit there and you sit on a sinking ship, it it just takes away the fun, you know.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: So at least at least try try try making some moves, man.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: You never know what could happen.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And I mean, your text cracked me up, your group text today, where it said, I want to make a trade just for the hell of it, dude.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, that is hilarious because that's my mindset a lot of the time is like I'm just having fun.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I like to trade, I like to make moves to improve my team, and I'm heavily involved in trading most seasons.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to be a little bit more measured this year, but I do like to just trade.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: It's fun, it's you know, a big reason I play fantasy football is the excitement that happens within a trade, you know, just to see, hey, I made a dangerous play here or a risky move, but it's so fun when it works out.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: It's called a a gambler's rush, my friend.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: That's what it's a little dopamine hit.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: It's the addict in us.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: We lose it.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: We're disaddicted.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Hey, it's okay, it's a it's a not a bad addiction to have.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, not not not if you keep it under wraps, guys.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: It's all right.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Fancy football is considered a game, not uh it's not considered it's a game of skill, not a game of chance, according to the state of Florida here.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Just saying, I looked it up.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: All right, without further ado, let's go ahead and jump into our uh news and our updates.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: But first, a word from our sponsors.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Hey there.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: My name is Manny James Gonzalez with PRB, and I'm a real estate agent here in Central Florida.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: I'm a U.S.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: Navy veteran, military relocation pro, and big supporter of 2A and veterans' rights.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: My specialty is VA transactions.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: I'm also experience in all parts of real estate.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: I've been living in Florida for over 20 years, and I can tell you we still believe in freedom down here.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: One of the greatest job markets, excellent economy, and no state income tax.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: When it comes to an agent, you want one that's gonna be honest, not afraid of a fight, and most importantly, you're willing to do the things that some agents aren't willing to do.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: And what's that, Manny?
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: Too straight, Dan.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: If you ever consider buying in Central Florida, you need somebody you can trust, and I got your sticks.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: I'm Manny James Gonzalez, find land for the free and home for the brave.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Welcome back, ballers.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: Let's get into some news and notes.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: So make some moves if he was in your lineup.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: And Manny and I were talking about the waiver wire.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: You're in another predicament here where similar to when Puka Nakua and Cooper Cup went out, who do you add?
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: You know, I th I think if you look at the Rams wide receivers last week, they all had between like three and five targets, between the four of them.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: And that's not a recipe for success if you got one of those guys in your lineup.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Now, Tutu Atwell played the best.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: He had uh like 95 yards, but I think he was still only targeted five times.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: And that's the thing is when you're getting all those wide receivers in the mix for four or five targets, that's not gonna really help you too much, maybe in a double flex.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: But what are you gonna do with these wide receivers in Carolina?
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Are you even gonna roster either one of them?
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: You know, I I definitely uh there's one I do like, and that just because he's a rookie, Xavier Legate.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: You know, like I I think the guy has all the talent in the world, he's big, he's explosive.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Um, and Andy Dalton will focus in on one wide receiver, and and that's it.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: That's the way he plays ball.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: You know, and that was Adam Thielen.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Adam Thielen is gone now.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: So who's that guy gonna be?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: It's Xavier Legate.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: He actually flashed a little bit.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: He had two receptions on three targets and 42 yards.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: And one thing that they were talking about here was that uh his snap count jumped up.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: Uh he was he only logged 44 out of the 74 snaps.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: And then last week he had like half of that.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: So now with Adam Thielen going out, he's gonna be playing a lot more snaps.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: And if you watch, you know, the Carolina Panthers play, um, and if you watch Jonathan Mingo play, he's he's better than Mingo because Mingo drops catch it passes, right?
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: He he has talent, he was a high, you know, higher draft pick last year, or they you know, when they got him, but he's just not really gonna be the player that they want.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: And uh, I think Leggett is a playmaker, so that's the guy I would gamble on.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: He's not gonna produce right now, but you know, give it about four to six weeks, and you know, if Andy Dalton's there, even if Bryce Young takes over, you know, maybe this benching is good for him.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: But uh Andy Dalton, though, I mean, if every time he gets in, he's kind of like Flacco.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Every time he gets the ball in his hands, he makes things happen.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Which I mean, not every time, but most of the time.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: And it's it's cool to see a backup come in there.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, shit, you got to see it with Big Dick Nick when he won the Super Bowl.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Um, but the thing is, right now, I think if you got Deontay Johnson, you're pretty happy about that because you know he's gonna get fed until Laguette gets more comfortable with the offense.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, definitely.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Now moving on, we've got a lot of injuries again, and and we're not gonna bore you to death with the um limited practice because the the names are just too long.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: But make sure you check your lineups.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: If there's a Q next to your guy's name, look at that injury, see if they're limited in practice, see see what the expectations are and make plans accordingly.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: But we're gonna go over the list of people that did not practice on Wednesday.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Uh running back, you got Damien Pierce, probably not gonna play him anyway.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Joe Mixon did not practice, Jerome Ford from the Cleveland Browns did not practice, Jalen Warren, who has been a total dud all year, did not practice, and then Alvin Kamura, pay attention to that.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: He did not practice, and he's got an injury.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: It's it has two things listed his hip and his rib.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: So I'm not exactly sure what's going on.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Um, but then also to round it out, the guy that's been ruled out already is Austin Eckler with a concussion.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: So moving on to wide receivers, we have Debo Samuel did not practice, probably gonna miss a couple more games, at least one.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Tank Dell did not practice.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: I think he is expected to play, but keep a close eye on that.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And um the Eagles didn't practice today, but Devonta Smith got a concussion, and AJ Brown is still dealing with that hamstring injury.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: So keep a close eye on both of them.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Saquon's gonna have another monster day.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: We can guarantee that.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: But Devonta Smith is probably not gonna play, and AJ Brown, big question mark there.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: So keep a close eye on both of them.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: And then at tight end, Evan Ingram did not practice.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Not sure if we can expect him in week four or not.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Trey McBride, concussion.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: You know, the thing is with a concussion in the NFL, they're usually going to make you take at least one game off.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: So make plans accordingly.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: You could put Zach Ertz in your lineup and probably be pretty happy.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: And David Njoku, he did not practice today either.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure what's going on with his ankle, but they talk like he's gonna come back and then he doesn't come back.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: So keep a close eye on all those guys.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: Um, quarterback position looks like everyone's actually trending towards playing.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: So um, most of the guys that that you're gonna have in your lineup should be a good start.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: Now it's time for our hot matchups of the week.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: Now, for my hot matchup, I went ahead and went with a game that is gonna be explosive because there's a lot of talent on both sides of the field.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: That is gonna be the commanders versus the Cardinals.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: That's gonna be a great game.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, you have Jaden Daniels on one side.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: He has uh several weapons, which will be Brian Robinson, Terry McLaurin.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: You know, they have uh obviously, you know, uh Austin Eckler's out, which you mentioned before, but Jaden Daniels by himself is uh you know an explosive weapon.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: So they're gonna score a lot of points, they're gonna move the ball.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: The new commanders are actually a really good team to watch offensively, defense is still buns, so you're you don't expect much on that side, and that's why I think the Cardinals are gonna eat themselves because Kyler Murray's a stud.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: James Connor is is a mutant, you know.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: He just goes in there and just like destroys people, and then like any mutant, you know, machine parts fall apart sometimes.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sometimes.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and obviously they they trade McBride is questionable.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Who knows if he's gonna play?
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: But Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: is a truth, so he's be out there catching it, and then they'll they'll probably spread it to other guys, who cares who they are, right?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Because you know, it could be anybody.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, but really that's that's pretty much these teams are centered around those, you know, it's almost like a triangle style offense where you're gonna have those three main guys that it's gonna run through, and besides that, you know, you're not really gonna want to start anybody else.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and man, and um I really like the way Kyler Murray looks out on the field, he looks so comfortable, and the same thing with Jaden Daniels.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Now, it's funny is I had Jaden Daniels ranked really high in my quarterback rankings, and I didn't have Kyler Murray, and they're both just playing awesome.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: It took Kyler Murray like one game to get comfortable, but now he looks real good.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Like you said, Marvin Harrison Jr., absolutely the truth.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, my God, that guy looks good.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: And you know I love James Connor, and he's gonna keep doing what he does until he gets injured.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Once he gets injured, yeah, make plans.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, you got a handcuff.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: But I I love their offense, and I'm so impressed, even though I was really high on Jaden Daniels, he's looked awesome out there.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to like the Cardinals last year with Sam, or I'm sorry, the um commanders last year with Sam Howell because he had a few awesome blow up games too, where you're like, man, you know, I know they're they're a struggling team overall, but there's times when you'd watch that offense like, wow.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: And I feel that so much more with Jaden Daniels this year, and uh love what they're doing.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: So I love that for a hot matchup.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Should be a really high-scoring game.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And I think you will agree that my hot matchup is going to be absolutely fire as well.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: The Bills versus the Ravens.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: The Bills are 3-0, and they put up 47 points last week.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Josh Allen had four touchdowns, and James Cook has been so consistent over the first three games, and he's also scoring touchdowns, which was his biggest hang up last year.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: So that's great to see.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: And then uh Calyo Shakir, he's been looking good and he has two touchdowns.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: He got another one last week, and Kincaid got a touchdown last week too.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: So it feels like the offense is finally coming together the way we expected.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: And um, Keon Coleman, even though he scored a touchdown, I need to see more targets until he can be a starter.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: But with the limited opportunities he's getting, he looks good too.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't put him in my lineup, but he looks good.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: And then despite being one and two on the other side of the field, the Ravens, they've got that incredible talent and they should be fine as the year goes on.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Lamar is a beast, King Henry is a beast, looked amazing last week.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Um, Zay Flowers was solid in the first two weeks, but you know, the the game last week, even though they won, I believe it was 28 to 25.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Uh, the receiving end of the game did not look very good.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: I don't know what's up with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, Isaiah Likely looked amazing in week one, but they haven't done anything since then.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: So I can't really trust either one of them.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: But what are you gonna do at tight end?
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: You're gonna play them.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: You don't really have if you if you've got them on your team, you're gonna play them.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'm more confident that I feel like the Ravens need uh like a bounce back game for specifically their receiving core, and this could be it because both teams do have a solid defense, but this kind of matchup, I think the high-powered offense will overcome that defense, and and it will be a really solid back and forth game with the run and the pass.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man, that's definitely a good matchup.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: I I could see how uh the Bills and the Ravens could be high scoring.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: I actually have Josh Allen in a league.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: I was trying to get him in another one.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Uh what's so funny, Joe?
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: I don't know what's so funny about what I'm saying right now.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: We had to cut, we had to just cut before I started laughing.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: But anyway, keep going.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry to interrupt.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Keep going.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: You're funny.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: Uh Bills versus Ravens.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: Um, so I have Josh Shallon in another league, definitely.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Um, I also have Dalton Kinkade.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: I got that uh hang, you know, that stack.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: I love having a good stack, especially when you have a good quarterback tight end combination, which used to be the Mahomes Kelsey combination.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: You know, that was um used to be that's something that's a lot of fun to have.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: But uh I can see how that could be uh high score, and obviously that, you know, James Cook has been on fire.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Like I didn't even realize he would he got that much better in the offseason because when I watched saw him running, they were showing his angles on his uh his angles on his ankles when he was too running.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: So this was the floor here, and he was just running, and his feet would actually get this close to the ground when he was cutting.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: And he was just cutting like that.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like check that out.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, his his feet were like so quick, and I was like, damn, after I saw that, that's why I was like, hey, are you willing to trade James Cook?
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Because when I see players that I like, I see them, I see them in game tape, and that's when I like them.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not like a yeah, that just same year, man.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: And not just like a highlight, like you can see a highlight for a player like Rahe Rahid Shahid, and you know, be like, oh, that guy just scored two touchdowns for 50-yard touchdowns, right?
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Or you see somebody that just you know blows up, but like you know, it's all based upon a scheme or something like that.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: But some players are just so good that it doesn't matter what scheme they're in, they're gonna produce, you know, it doesn't matter what scenario they're in, they're gonna produce.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: So those are the type of players I typically like to go after.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I I feel the exact same way where when I'm watching a full game, and even if, like, let's say, you know, a running back only gets 60 or 80 yards, but you see with those opportunities that they look really good out there, that goes a long way with me.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: And you know, I've always liked the way James Cook looked.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, last year I thought he looked good too, but this year I agree, he looks much better, just more comfortable too.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: And I have him in like three or four leagues, and I have Josh Allen in one league, but that league I have Josh Allen, I have James Cook, and you know, he's a receiving running back where he catches a lot of balls.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: So I love that combination, and I'm just so happy to see like the the flow, the offense flow the way it is right now, because you know, Josh Allen's gonna have his ups and downs, but the ups are gonna be huge, and the downs are gonna be like, you know, still respectable.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: And um, James Cook, his consistency, because you know, last year he got he had over 1100 rushing yards, he just didn't get many touchdowns, so people were really down on him.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: And I understand with Josh Allen snatching a lot of those touchdowns, why you would be concerned, but like you said, just visually, he looked so good on the field, and his stats did back it up in every category except for touchdowns.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: So I I like that whole offense, and and I'm still really high on Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Dalton Kincaid, too.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: And um, I see them continuing to thrive.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: These these three-o bills are gonna keep keep running.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think the Ravens will definitely still give them a run for their money.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's gonna be they won't be able to contain King King Henry, so it's gonna come down to who's gonna score more, right?
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Like it's gonna come down to that last possession.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Like, is the defense gonna come up with a stop?
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: And I think the Ravens unfortunately has a better defense, so I think yeah, I know you said the the Bills are keep rolling, but I think the the Ravens will derail them and actually get a win this one.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, they're gonna play that smash mouth hard grit defense on them and might even get a good hit on Josh Allen or two.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: I do cheer for the Ravens when the Steelers are knocked out of the playoffs, but until then I don't uh because I want to see them do poorly.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: You know, they always give us a hard time.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, their division foes.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Steelers are three and oh, how about that?
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Um, but I do I do want to see the Ravens lose, but you make a very valid point.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Their defense, you know, arguably the best.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Defense in the league still.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: They look good.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying the Bills' defense has looked decent too.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I don't think they can contain Lamar, King Henry.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: And again, Zay Flowers was really good in the first couple weeks.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: He just didn't have a great game last week.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: But um I really don't know what's going on with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, but a lot of lot of football left.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: We've only seen three weeks.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: I'm still gonna say like these guys are gonna fall into place and start playing some really good football.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: Agreed.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Now let's get to our cold calls of the week.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Cutting glass with those fucking things.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna kick things off with one that I know you agree with.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: The Titans versus the Dolphins.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: The Titans have been struggling all year, which typically which typically leads to a bad game script.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: And garbage time typically typically the Titans have been struggling all year, which typically leads to a bad game script.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: And garbage kind garbage I can't speak.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Let me start this over.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: The Titans have been struggling all year, which typically leads to a bad game script.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And garbage time can be beneficial sometimes, but it's certainly not ideal.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: I don't like getting I do not like relying on fourth quarter garbage points when I'm playing fantasy football.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: I want to be on a high-powered offense that's gonna give me consistent numbers throughout the entire game.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Now Calvin Ridley is extremely unpredictable, and as always, he came crashing back to earth in week three.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Hopkins had a good game last week, but week one and two were so bad that a lot of people dropped him.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Like he had two points in week one and two.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: So he was on a waiver wire in one of my leagues.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: I actually tried to pick him up, but somebody else did.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: I did I wouldn't play him though.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: And Pollard was good in week one and two, but the game script hurt him a lot last week.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: So that's the thing.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: I don't like I like Pollard just in general as like an RB2, but Miami has a decent run defense, so Pollard may struggle again.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: And again, so much of that depends on the game script.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: If they're getting blown out, they're not gonna give give the ball to Pollard nearly as much.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Um, I would start Pollard, but nobody else on either side.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, or I'm sorry, I wouldn't I would not start anyone else on the Titans.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Now on the other side, the Dolphins only had three points last week, two is still out, and I don't think they've even decided who's gonna start at quarterback this week.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: The quarterback situation is affecting the entire team, including Tyreek and Devon A-chan.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: So obviously you're starting both of those guys, but with much lower expectations.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: I just don't like that game at all.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: I'm staying far away from it.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Again, if you if you got your starters, Pollard, Tyreek, Devon A-chan, you're gonna start them.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: But you got you got to bring those expectations down a lot.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: I I mean I agree.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Those are two teams that are struggling right now.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, I don't know what Will Levis is doing this year.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: He's definitely not playing how he should.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: So they're their Titans are looking pretty bad.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: Um, and Miami obviously has a quarterback injury, so you know it's it's gonna be a hard game to watch, and unfortunately, it's not gonna be something that I either team want to have any investment into, and nor do I have any.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Did I have any in the preseason?
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: So you should have listened to me, assholes.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, one thing I I think I think I actually made, I think I actually made a bad call.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Um during the draft, I had the option of Tyreek and Amon Ross St.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Brown.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: And I love Tyreek, obviously.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Everyone everyone wants Tyreek on their team.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: But I was just thinking about Amon Ross St.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Brown is generally a safer play.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: And the reason I think Amon Ross St.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Brown is a safer play is because of the quarterback.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: I feel like Jared Goff is just that consistent guy that's gonna give Amon Ra a bunch of targets.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Whereas I told you the reason I was not, I and I won't, I don't even want to say as high because I'm super high on Tyreek, but the ceiling for Tyreek, boom, through the fucking roof.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Um, but I felt like Amon Ra was just safer because I told you I'm just not I didn't trust Tua, not just because of injuries, but also just because of the way he plays football.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: I felt like Amon Ra was a safer play, and then after seeing Tua, you know, get knocked out for probably a month, maybe even six or eight weeks, that's how unpredictable fantasy football is going to be with all these injuries.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you went with your gut, and your gut was right, you know, at the end of the day, like whatever your reasoning was, like people say your reasoning was flawed, however, it was justified and within yourself doesn't matter because at the end the result is what you thought it would be.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: So, and that's how fancy is.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: It's uh it's just as much luck as it is skill, you know.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, so nice blend, definitely.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: But on the Miami side, I was I I was actually referencing Titan side that I was really low on Miami.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: I I I was bullish on Tyreek as well.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Um, not so heavy on Jalen Waddle.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: And and I was actually bullish on HM, which he's still having a pretty good season so far.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: Consider considering the circumstances, but you know, anybody else pretty much just don't even plug them in, just leave them on your bench.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: I I have a feeling going into this next game, they've had a little bit more time.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: I know the I know the quarterback situation's up in the air, but I'm sure they've had more time with their options, with their quarterbacks, to just talk to them.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: And I I feel like they're gonna lean real heavily on a chan, and Tyreek will probably you know be affected more.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I don't know what really happened last week.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: A Chan didn't do anything, Tyreek hardly did anything, and I feel like with with a you know a quarterback that is not going to be dumping the ball downfield that a Chan could be fine, even if it's you know a couple more weeks until they get it together.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: I'm not worried about A-chan, but until Tua comes back, I'm a little bit worried about Tyreek.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Definitely, and especially worried about Jalen Waddle.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, he's not really on my radar much because you know he's a great football player, but he's always uh dealing with injuries himself.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: So he hasn't done much this year.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: Maybe a flex play, but not anytime soon.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: Now, for my uh cold matchup, I ended up going with the Browns versus the Raiders.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, these are two teams that are one and two.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: Um, just complete dumpster fires, trying to figure out who they are.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: You got the Browns over here rolling weed on the side of the bench, you know, like getting highs, kites, you know, they got Deshaun Watson getting freaking back massages right there on the sidelines, you know.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Like it's it's a it's a sideshow over there, man.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: It is like that's the Browns, you know.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Nick Chubb's over there squatting like 600 pounds of strippers, like it's crazy, man.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: Like uh, I mean, the guy is reseting from an ACL.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they need to get Nick Chubb back, but you can't rush back from when you getting your leg amputated.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that's definitely something crazy.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: But um, on the other side, obviously, the Raiders, like they they are not the same Raiders that was coached last year, and they actually got better in the offseason I thought on paper, uh, personnel-wise.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: So, you know, they added some players, um, but offensively with Gardner Minshew, they took a step back.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: Um, Zamir White's not getting the touches like he should.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: Alexander Madison's the number one guy there.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Like, it's hard to understand what they're doing.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's crazy.
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: They're making him the goal linebacker.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what Zamir White does.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: I know that's what I'm saying.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: It's confusing to me.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: Madison's the bigger guy, but that's never really been his skill set, you know.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: Like, you gotta get Zamir White going.
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: That's that's what he did when Jacobs was in last year.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: And and they did that with a lesser O-line.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Their O-line got a little bit better, you know, like one or two, they made one or two additions to it.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: But um, I don't know.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: I just think it's a horrible game.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: The spread is at like 37, so it's one of the lower ranked games.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, and it's just gonna be a complete dumpster fire.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: Like, you I wouldn't be surprised if they benched Deshaun Watts in this game and you see uh Tyler Huntley come in there and actually take over.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: How about Amari Cooper, though?
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: He came to play, finally showed up.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: I was just talking shit on him last week.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what happened.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Like, he's he's another one of those guys that like kind of similar to Waddle, where you're gonna have some monster weeks, but or even like Calvin Ridley that we were just talking about, or Hopkins.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: Damn, a lot of these guys, a lot of these vets are the same where they're gonna have these monster weeks, but they're gonna have so many duds in between that you you just don't want them on your team because the stress of like putting them in your lineup is just not worth it.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: I'd rather have a guaranteed 10 or 15 point guy than a boom or bust 20-point guy.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: All day.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: Now let's get into our shit calls of the week.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: All right, I missed the hot matchup again.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, the Eagles versus the Saints had a total of 27 points, and I was expecting it to be about 50.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: With that said, a lot of these guys did actually show up and play great football.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: They just couldn't find the end zone.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Barkley had an unbelievable game.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: He did find the end zone a couple times.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Devonta Smith and Chris Olave, they played really well.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: And Kamara played all right too.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: And even Dallas Goddard, who I was talking shit about last week, and uh pretty vocal about it in my other leagues too, making fun of my friends that were deciding who to play.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, should I play Ferguson or should I play Goddard?
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, if you're playing me, put Goddard in.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: Boy, that was a mistake.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: But Ferguson played pretty well too, but Goddard played unbelievable.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: We had like 170 yards or something.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Um, so all these guys played really good football.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: They just couldn't find the end zone.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: And who that hurt most was Jalen Hurts and Derek Carr.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So I was expecting the entire offense to have a good game, including those two.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: I thought Carr was gonna keep it rolling, and I thought Jalen Hurts was, you know, gonna be typical Jalen Hurts, but actually, even better.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Saints defense is good, yes, and Eagles defense showed up too.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: But Jalen Hurts is one of those guys where you're you're comfortable with 20 to 25 every week.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: So I was banking on like 25-30 last week, and I thought Derek Carr was gonna get you 20-25 as well.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: They both got you about 10, and the rest of the team really made up for it, aside from Rasheed Shaheed, who got you zero.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: So although the guys didn't find the end zone, Devonta Smith, Chris Olave, Kamara, and Dallas Goddard, they got you points.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: If you played them, you're very happy.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: But if you play Jalen Hurts like I did in a couple leagues, or Derek Carr, um, or Rashid Jihade, not happy at all with that output.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so I thought that was gonna be an all-around boom, and it was uh half a boom, half a bust.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Missed a hot matchup by about 25 points.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and it happens, you know.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: I definitely thought that would be a good game myself.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: So um happens to the best of us.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: And it was a good game, it was a good game, but you know, they get into the red zone and then they wouldn't get the touchdown.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: I think we turned the ball over in the red zone a couple times, yeah.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: So so it was it was a rough game to watch.
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: Very hard game.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: Actually, it wasn't a hard game to watch, it was uh edgy or seat, you know.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was I liked why I was I was into it, but a little frustrated they couldn't find the end zone.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: It all the almost all the points came in the fourth quarter.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was an exciting fourth quarter, though.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: It was it was crazy, but a lot of frustrating too because of all the cheap shots, you know.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh man.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but um, but yeah, overall it was a good game.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: Now for my uh shit call of the week.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: Um I had to eat crow on uh my uh hot matchup, which I thought would be the Cards versus the Lions.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: Uh the total point score was only 33.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: Uh Cards had 13, Lions had 20, and then it ended up being a defensive fest.
- 35:24SPEAKER_01: Like uh both teams were spidering on offense.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: Um actually lions were playing great defense on the cards, and the car uh the and then the lions just couldn't get anything going on offense, they just got just enough to win the game.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: So uh that ended up being my shit call because you didn't get a lot of points either, unless you had the running backs for the Lions.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: Those were the only people that got points.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: Maybe Amon Ra got you some solid points.
- 35:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, but pretty much uh unless it was the main playmakers, it wasn't really uh a big day for anybody on either side.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: I think you're gonna have a nice bounce back with your hot matchup this week.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Let's hope we're not talking about three weeks in a row hot matchups turn into hot shit.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: All right, now let's get into our big balls call of the week.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: For my big balls call of the week, I ended up going with Mr.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: Brian Robinson Jr., Mr.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: 50 Cent.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, he's gonna go ahead and have a big game this week.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Austin Eckler is out.
- 36:49SPEAKER_01: Obviously, I have the commanders versus the Cardinals as my hot matchup, so I gotta I gotta ride that that train to the to to the wheels fall off.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: So um I got him rushing for over 125 yards and two touchdowns against the Cardinals.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: So he's gonna be one of the best uh high scoring.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be a top five running back this week for fantasy football.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: So plug him in your lineups.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be a can't miss guy, and uh, we're gonna have a player profile for him here as well this week.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: I love that, Cole.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, look how well he's been playing with Austin Eckler.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Now with Austin Eckler sidelined, totally agree he's gonna have another boom game just with an extra cherry on top.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: So you're saying 125 rush yards and two touchdowns.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, 125 rush yards, and he's still gonna take a couple receptions in there as well.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: So who knows if he has more touchdowns?
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: Maybe he's a Kyron Williams.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: But let's talk about that real quick.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: Your big balls call last week.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: You said 150 yards and two touchdowns, and Kyron got three.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: He had over 100 total yards.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think he had about 120 total yards and three touchdowns.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: So you've just been smashing it with the big balls call.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think you you you've hit two out of three.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: That's that's a really, really good uh numbers for these kind of calls we're making.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: You know, these these are ballsy calls, the elephant balls calls, and that's why when you do hit them, uh it feels pretty good.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: And last last week I had one that was not really a a huge balls call, but given the circumstances of the Steelers playing as you know 2-0, excited going into the next game.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: I said Justin Fields is gonna have 250 total yards and two touchdowns, and he finished with 251 and two touchdowns.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: So I hit two.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: I got my first one, feels great, but but it wasn't that ballsy, you know.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: I'm saying it was it was kind of ballsy, but for a quarterback, it's kind of expected.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: But you know, again, you're talking about Justin Fields, right.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Now, going back to what you were saying about my big balls call, um, everyone and their mother last week was on on on record saying that you know uh the Rams are gonna have a horrible day.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: The the Four Nine is just gonna demolish them and just have their way with them and and take advantage of them.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: And and it was just the opposite.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: The Rams were keeping up with them.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: So, you know, the good thing is we talk about this guys because we have an opinion.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: We're not talking about this stuff because we want to follow what this guy's saying and what that guy's saying.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: We uh, to be honest, I don't really listen to anybody else.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: I do my own research, I watch my own training camps, I I read my own updates, and that's where I come up with my opinion.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't need to look at someone else and copy what he's saying because half of the time they're just copying each other.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: And if I copy the next guy, what what makes you want to follow me or or follow us?
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: You know, like that's like that doesn't give you any incentive.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and like when we when we started doing this a couple years ago, I actually would compare my notes.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: I would I would do all my research and take all my notes, and then I'd compare that with what other people were saying.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: I stopped doing that because it it all it does is is make me uh question yourself, yeah.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Question my thoughts and sometimes even change my mind.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, and what I noticed a lot of people saying last week was that the you know you know you're you're high on Kyron because they lost Puka, they lost Cooper, you're high on him, and everyone else was saying now they only got to focus on the run, you know.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: And they said the same thing about Josh Jacobs with Green Bay, now they only got to focus on the run.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: But Kyron rushed for over uh he had like 90 rushing yards and like 30 receiving yards or something, and three touchdowns.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: So yeah, maybe they did just have to focus on him, but they still couldn't stop him.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: Those first two games, he had, you know, he he found the end zone, but his yardage was much lower because they could throw the ball to Cooper Cup.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: And now with Cooper gone, you know, they were spreading the ball around a lot, but the only reliable player that you would want on your fantasy roster was Kyron, and he put an exclamation point on it.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: That might not be a long-term thing, you know, them just feeding him, feeding him, and feeding him, but the short term, it's fantastic for fantasy because if the if the Niners can't hold him back, it's gonna be real hard for other teams to hold him back too.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: And yeah, and that's that kind of brings me to put a little bit more uh detail on my sell high because I'm sure most of you saw my my video on my sell high on Kyron Williams now.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: So obviously for me, it's it's sell high on him because this is the highest the value is ever gonna be, right?
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: Like he's once Puka comes back and and and all these guys, he's not gonna have three or four touchdown games.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be a one or two touchdown game guy, he's gonna get you 20 to 25 points, you know, consistently.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: And if you have his handcuff, you don't have to worry about you know uh having to deal with the injuries.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: But if if you can get what you need, for example, I identified in one league, I am horrible at wide receiver, but I have a surplus of running backs, so I have the maximum value from Kyron Williams, so that's why I say I'm gonna sell high on Kyron Williams because I'm not gonna get any better return than I can for that guy, right?
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: So that and that's and that's the God's honest truth, right?
- 42:31SPEAKER_01: You gotta make sure you take advantage of because it's like the stock market, guys are gonna have like their their 52-week highs, and then they're gonna get back to normal levels, and and that's that's what you got to do is play those play those levels.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, his value is never gonna get higher.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: And here's another thing, you know, it's good that they're gonna kind of ease up on his workload with the receivers coming back.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: When when Puka comes back and Cooper Cup comes back and they're at 100%, that's gonna actually help Kyron.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: So if he's on your team, you do want them to come back, but you're gonna you're gonna ride these next couple weeks and feel real good about all the all the production he's gonna give you and all the workload he's gonna get.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: But long term, you you don't really want to see that.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: So if he is on your team, you want to see them scale back a little bit because you don't want to see him get injured.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: But yeah, his value is super high right now.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: And Manny and I almost made a trade today because I'm kind of struggling at running back, but um CD Lamb was a lot for me to give up.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: So we were trying to go back and forth, two for two, one for one.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: Still might make it happen, but I have to give it a little bit more thought.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Maybe throw another two for two at you.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: But this week, we'll see.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: But for this week, um, for my big balls call, I think Rasheed Rice is gonna keep shining.
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: He's currently at the top of the wide receiver food chain, and I don't see him slowing down.
- 43:59SPEAKER_00: He's been the only reliable Chiefs player through the first three games.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: You know, Kelsey's nowhere in sight.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Um, obviously they're struggling at running back with injuries, and I'm not really sure what the uh workload is gonna look like for Carson Steele.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Regardless, the only reliable player on the Chiefs right now is Rasheed Rice, Rashi Rice, and this week I'm predicting over a hundred yards and two touchdowns.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: Okay, all right.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: I see you.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: I see you.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: And by the way, Carson Steele had 17 carries last game.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: I know he he looked good, but I'm just saying I'm not exactly sure if that's gonna be a consistent thing.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: It's just we have one game to go with, and I I feel like it can be very up and down, yeah.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: If if they're playing from behind, you know, Samaj P.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: Ryan's gonna probably be a little bit more involved, and that because it because Pacheco was taking the full workload before that.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: He was in he was taking all the passes and all the handoffs.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: So right now, right now I feel like that would be more split.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: It depends on great game script for Carson Steele.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: Uh, but yeah, he had 17 and he and he had like 75 yards or something.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: He looked good.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: So I'm happy I picked him up in one league, but I'm I'm not starting him with a smile on my face just yet.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: No, still question marks, yeah.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's that time of day we all hate it's the end of the party.
