- Micaiah: What's up everybody? The three amigos are back together and better than ever. Gang gang, we are back and better than ever. I'm your host, Captain Boring. You know the guy. Well, he's to my left, but Roberto is here along with me. He's been with me for the majority of this year, and then this guy. Simeon: Mm-hmm. Micaiah: At the bottom, kind of new to the podcast. hi. it is aka aka. He is back and better than ever. His son's a little bit older now, which gives him more flexibility. Hopefully he will be part of the podcast more going forward. I didn't even know that was the soundbite we had. Simeon: Hi, I'm Paul. Roberto Con Queso: Okay. Micaiah: Okay, all right. So we're already having fun. We gotta and w we are we are all the way back. We have a great show for everyone today. Lots to get into Michigan fire well Michigan AD Ward Manual is stepping down at the end of the calendar year. Simeon: Hey, we're back. We back. Is is that the most they've mutually agreed to part ways ever that I've ever seen? I mean I'm sure there are some other ones, Cowboys coaches, Raiders coaches, but like as far as in recent history Micaiah: Yeah, I this was a this was an attrition kind of step down. I I definitely think so. He's gonna step down at the end of the calendar year, which I would assume then is December thirty first, which is an odd time 'cause that's right in the middle of the basketball season, but and hockey season, but hey, who who knows here? He's been in the A D. He is fifty eight years old for ten years. He oversaw numerous national championships in football and in men's basketball. however, there have been scandals, multiple scandals on his part. There have been multiple suspensions and coaching firing and lack of rent retention with high level coaches. Dusty May comes to mind most recently. And a Chicago law firm, Jenner and Block. was hired to investigate the Sharon Moore situation and they didn't find anything outstanding happening within the athletic department other than basically Ward Manual didn't jump on tips that came in. I think that that's the broad overview of what they found. I can read you the legalese, but no one No one cares. Neither the investigation nor the culture review found that misconduct was widespread throughout the department, found weaknesses in accountability, organizational structure, overstrike and re reporting, create created conditions, basically what I just said. Robert, your thoughts. Or Savanne, whoever. Simeon: You know fine. I mean I'm just gonna call total BS on that immediately. You know, I was pulling up ESPN for my notes, just so you know I can refer to games and stuff, and literally the top headline on the NCAA F subsection is Dan Wetzel saying could have had run this investigation through AI instead. Which I believe without reading it Is basically like this was useless. Why did we do this? And I think as fans, we have to be as hard on our own team as we are on other people. And yes, Ward Manual has had a history of winning at the U of but at the same exact time, to your point and to whoever you were just quoting, I'm assuming you were reading an article, we had we didn't keep Harbaugh, we didn't keep Dusty May. Those are n top people you have to keep. If you want to continue to win, you're gonna have to pay the big dollars. And again, just unable to keep anything under wraps. It sounded like he probably ran a good boys club just by what we're hearing from the press without knowing any of the details. So who wants that? Right? I don't want that. Robert? Roberto Con Queso: What? Yeah, I don't know. I mean, my big thing with Ward, I can't I'm not gonna hold the coaches leaving against him because ultimately if you're a coach, your goal is not to coach in college football, it's to coach in the professional league. so you shouldn't strive like as a coach, you shouldn't strive to just be a college football coach. Like it take it takes a really good coach to be good in college and then also good in the professional like NFL, NBA, whatever. Urban couldn't do it. Sabin couldn't do it. Excellent college football coaches. Not good NFL coaches. We're still seeing with Harbaugh, you know, Harbaugh, I don't it kind of was a he had to leave because I think the NCAA just would have sanctioned him until He was 170 just because they couldn't figure out anything else to do. Dusty leaving. I mean, what I I can't you can't blame Dusty. You can't blame Ward. I mean, he won a national championship in his first it was was it his first year or was his second year in Michigan? Second year, yeah. So he goes, wins a national championship. It's like, yeah, go up to the pros. Simeon: May? Second. Micaiah: Second. Roberto Con Queso: Get the big money, get where you're supposed to be. Don't strive like Ryan Day to be a mid tier coach at an A plus program. Micaiah: My big thing with Harbaugh is that he he kind of again, everything I read online is that Ward kind of dragged his feet with Harbaugh contracts. And was that because of the NCAA investigation? I don't know. But it would have been nice once you win the national championship to at least have Ward Manual come out and say, We're gonna make we We're offering you to make you the highest paid coach. And then if Harbaugh says, no, I'm good, then I'm out. there was an extension for Dusty May on the table, and that's all fine. and Dusty May like agreed to it verbally but never signed it, and then the Mavericks came along, and and I get that, right? They went out a high level, they move along. But at at some point, you as an athletic director. one way or another, need to find someone to Have consistency within your program. You got 10 years out of Harbaugh, you got two years out of May. And now are we and then Jawan Howard, the coach right before that, that was a hot mess express, right? So I I I I don't I don't I don't know. With with with great power comes, great responsibility. We can call War Manual Spider Man, I guess, but it it I it's more the scandals, I think, that will taint his legacy when you look back on him. However Who looks back on athletic directors, the history of athletic directors and been like, Yeah, that was a good one, yeah, that was a bad one, right? Like, go go ahead and name me five other athletic directors and I'll give you five bucks. Simeon: Nerds. Nerds. People who peop peop people who well field Yoast. Jim Trestle. You want me to keep going? You're talking about a nerd here. That's two that I'm aware of. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. That's Micaiah: Mm. Not five though. Simeon: Yeah, true. sorry, I'm I'm I'm curious to see if anybody else left while while Ward was there. Micaiah: It I would have to Robert, I would have to imagine this is a very desirable job for other athletic directors around the country. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, I mean pr I would I would say yes, just for the fact that I mean, you are looking at so Michigan is obviously a very big program. Like Michigan, Ohio State, I don't probably not Penn State yet, but like Georg like teams that not only have been successful in football, but also are successful in other sports. Like Alabama would be a good one, not just because of football, but the softball's been very good and the baseball's like up and down. Penn State with their soccer and wrestling or not soccer, hockey and wrestling. So yeah, I would say Michigan's probably one of the top I don't even know any other A D positions that are open. But if there are ones that are open, I would assume that Michigan would at least be like a top five Simeon: So I'm I'm interested here because we're talking not to change the subject back, but I wanted to actually let AI do its job. So it looks like so the men's and women's gymnastics was also one of the ones that won a women a national championship under those. Those coaches did not have turnover minus like unexpected turnover. The one coach retired after twenty five seasons, the w that's the men's coach. The women's coach is is still the same thing. But the baseball coach left for Clemson in twenty twenty two, amidst friction with with management. the men's ice hockey person after the guy retired in twenty seventeen, the twenty seventeen to twenty twenty two left after a cultural inve c workplace culture investigation. obviously we had the failures of Juwan Howard trying to repeat what what Jim Harbaugh came came in under. and then we had the cluster F that was Shr the Sharone Moore investigation, just to name a few. it looks like most of the other ones everybody kinda retained and stayed, but those were the big ones. yeah. Micaiah: However, Kyle Whittingham now and now the interim men's basketball coach that also got a two year extension, so explain that to me. that's a they are kind of you never want to be a coach hired by a former A D. Right. Because now you're not his guy. So the expectation was going to be high for Kyle Winningham no matter what. You have two eight and four seasons, you're probably out as the coach coach of University of Michigan, I would I would I would have to imagine. If you go back to back eight and four, I I'm gonna be been like, all right, well, this was nice, not working. Like let's let's try something else. Fair enough. Simeon: it depends if he beats Ohio State or not. caveat there. If he loses a hundred percent. Micaiah: So it it will be very interesting over the next couple of years to see how that kind of impacts the coaching decisions and changes throughout not just men's and women, not men's football, men's basketball, women's basketball, like all the sports as well, because you were were hired under a different AD, right? So we will have to keep an eye on that and we will keep you apprised of the situation as it happens. Those are the big words I know. However, in today's episode, we are focusing on the Big Twelve. There was quite some comments in our TikTok comments, Robert, between the ACC and Big Twelve, and who was actually the less than conference. Simeon: Nerd. Nerd. Micaiah: You made the case for the Big Twelve. I made the case for the ACC. It was about a fifty fifty split. I I think the comments around the cu around the country on our TikTok videos were people were arguing over that topic. Roberto Con Queso: That is I am glad people are engaging in th arguments, but if that is the argument that we are having, whether which one which which conference ultimately is worse. I feel like Simeon, we're gonna need your we're gonna need your take here on which one is worse, but I'm gonna count to three. We're gonna say which conference is ultimately worse, and that's what it's gonna be. One, two, three, big twelve. Gah. All right. Micaiah: Okay. Simeon: A C C Micaiah: A C C Ha ha ha Simeon: And here's why, okay? This is this is my logic. The Big Twelve, while they're not n while neither conference is S tier, A tier conference, right? Prime time worthy. The Big Twelve is does a much better job since the reconstruction of beating itself up in a competitive way that makes it really good football. The ACC Does not. I don't want to watch an ACC game. If I have to pick between a Big Twelve football game and an ACC football game to watch, I'm picking the Big Twelve. Micaiah: R Robert, I I you make a you make you you make a great argument though. Yeah, okay, go ahead. Uh-huh It's starting. Roberto Con Queso: I don't know. Simeon: All right, hold on, hold on, hold on, Makai, I'm cutting you off. Roberto Con Queso: Hees, yes. Simeon: We're playing the game. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Simeon: So, Robert, would you rather watch a game between West Virginia and TCU or Florida State and Cal? Roberto Con Queso: Brother, I don't think I'd watch either. Simeon: No, but you have to pick one of the two, that's not the point. Micaiah: Yeah, that's not the game. Roberto Con Queso: So, okay, first off, where's the Florida State game being played? Micaiah: That does matter. No, actually actually that's a valid question. That yes. Y yeah. Yeah, yeah, no, like he has a valid question. Yeah. The moderator says that's a valid question. Roberto Con Queso: It it matters because if it's a if it's in Cal, it's a ten PM game and my ass can't stay up for that. Simeon: Okay. Alright. So Yeah, yeah. So let's assume let's assume that's fair. Let's assume these are both three o'clock games. Yep, that's a valid question. They're both three o'clock games. Okay. And let's say we're in Tallahassee in Morgantown. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Okay. I'd probably watch the Florida State game over the TCU West Virginia game. Simeon: Okay. Now does that flip if we're in Berkeley and Dallas? Okay. Roberto Con Queso: Hundred percent. Just because it's the it's the same thing with the Pac twelve where you really couldn't watch most of the Pac twelve games because no, they're in Fort Worth. Simeon: Not doubtless. Fort Worth, thank you. Roberto Con Queso: Like the game's gonna start at ten PM if not eleven PM. And it's like there's no way I'm gonna stay up and watch that. Simeon: Right. Right. No, no, that's fair. No, and I don't wanna watch Micaiah: And and Simeon: yeah. Micaiah: and I do feel if it's a 3 p.m. game out in Berkeley, the the West Coast fans are so sleepy at noon. Like you come to b like big big t big noon kickoff only works as much as you either hate it or you love it. Only works because Big Ten fans are just rearing to go at noon, no matter what. They've been drinking since yeah. So they are so they Simeon: Yeah, they've been drinking since seven. Yeah. Micaiah: It it definitely matters location. I I will hold the line that the ACC is the worst conference because over the last what decade, you've basically had two teams dominate the conference. It's been Clemson and it's been Miami. I understand there have been some others mixed in there. Most notably last year, Duke. I was roasted in the comments that people were either arguing about that or telling me what you forgot about Duke. Yes, I understand that, but Duke was a fluke. And and right. Right. So so like that's my only argument, but Robert's argument is great as well. Did you listen to last week's podcast about it? Okay. So he Simeon: They got in on a technicality and not the fun type that the Big Twelve was two years ago. To prove my point. I did. I don't know I didn't quite finish all of it, but yes. Micaiah: So ru Roberts basically is the opposite. Because you have you don't have a team that dominates it and it is a merry go round of teams just winning the Big Twelve all the time, it's not as good as the ACC. Simeon: Yeah, but no one wants another Alabama. Right? The whole point of college football is that it is I Yeah, but d if you have an Alabama of the conference, like yeah, and I get it, the SEC under Alabama was a lot of fun to watch. Don't get me wrong. That kind of it's not the greatest argument there. But if we ha the point the annoying part about the Big Ten is that currently it's three teams. And really it's only two. Roberto Con Queso: I mean there doesn't there doesn't have to be an Alabama thing. Simeon: If you take away apparently Jim Harbaugh out of Michigan. It's it's Oregon and it's Ohio State, and that's it. And I don't like that. Micaiah: Whoa whoa whoa time full time full time you just gonna disrespect Bloomington? Yeah Simeon: Indiana? Well, I have a Roberto Con Queso: Purdue. Simeon: fun hypothetical after this. But y Makaiah, you gotta go back to back if you wanna you were in the basement and now you're upstairs, okay? You had a glow up. Do it again and then I'll give you put you on top. Micaiah: You got your braces off, all right, fair enough. Simeon: Yeah. Okay, you put you took your glasses off and your hair's down. You put contacts in. Yeah. Alright. Yeah. So, Robert, here's a fun fact, and I'm gonna th and I'm gonna hopefully trigger some people here. As far as basement dwellers go, who would you rather have? And this is what I love. Micaiah: Girl got their braces off and showed up for sophomore year of high school. We get it. Roberto Con Queso: Come here. Let me let's hear it. Right. U i in my basement with me. Simeon: Sure, I don't care. Just like to be a fan of. I don't care. To watch a game, right? If this is their only option at three PM and you have to pick a game that includes one of these three basement dwellers, who are we picking? The Colorado Buffalo, the Purdue Boilermakers, or who do I want to pick? The California Golden Bears. Roberto Con Queso: okay. Micaiah: To root for? Okay. Roberto Con Queso: Purdue. The re and the only re so I don't I wouldn't pick Colorado because I feel like Colorado doesn't necessarily bring any entertainment to the field. Like yet Dion can have them bring in like the pizzazz, whatever, but it's not like Purdue bring you know, they have more traditional and I I guess that's like the old white guy in me, is the tradition like banging of the the what is it, the biggest Simeon: The big base or whatever it is called. Yeah. Roberto Con Queso: Drummond, the state of Indiana or the US or whatever. who's the other one? Cal. Simeon: Right. The Golden Bears. Micaiah: We already talked about cow. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, Cal Cal's just that's the un Cal is just the unfortunate one position wise. If they weren't a West Coast team, it pr they probably it would be so much more enjoyable. And I kind of feel like the West Coast has to they have to feel the same about the about the East Coast. Like who's waking up at five in the morning to watch Rutgers play? You know what I mean? Like it's gotta be the same thing. Simeon: Right. Yeah. Ru Rutgers is Micaiah: Yeah. Simeon: a g another great example of a basement dweller. Micaiah: You you roll out of bed at nine AM to turn on Rutgers versus Maryland. Roberto Con Queso: It's literally waking up it's it's rolling over, hitting your remote and going, the NFL's playing overseas today and then shutting the T V back off and going and making yourself breakfast. Simeon: Hard pass. Micaiah: Yeah. Simeon: No, no, it's it's having it on in the background while you drink your coffee. Yeah, yeah. You're not you're scrolling on TikTok or whatever, YouTube shorts. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Micaiah: At least the NFL's usually high quality football. Go ahead. Roberto Con Queso: So Here's what I'll say about the ACC. I th I like the ACC matchups a lot more than I like the Big Twelves. Micaiah: Okay. But as a conference it Roberto Con Queso: Because as a conference, because you know, even if even though it's Boston College, when Boston College plays Florida State, that's usually a really good game. Cause they they do the the bandana thing, whatever. But, you know, you get your Louisville and Miami for whatever reason that turns into a really good game. I think the matchups just are so much better than Houston and Colorado. Micaiah: For some reason, no one knows. Roberto Con Queso: TCU Iowa State. Like the best game that Iowa State plays is generally against Iowa, who's in a different conference. Simeon: So I think the point that Robert's trying to make, which is a fair point, is that while the Big Twelve is technically has some very old schools in it, I feel like there's more what's the word? Like age and history and and tradition for the ACC schools. The ACC schools, because a good amount amount of them are in the South, they have just as much whatever that word is that I'm looking for, cultural impact as Alabama Ole Miss L S U. and the Big Twelve doesn't doesn't like no i they're not it's not as sec it's not as like old money, if that makes sense. ACC's old money, Big Twelve's new money. It's the difference between being a Vanderbilt and having new oil money, you know? Micaiah: Who's the next conf between the two? Who's the first one to fold? Roberto Con Queso: Probably the A C C by the sounds of it. Simeon: fortune only it shouldn't. To me the ACC is a b the better has the better history and stuff behind it. I don't but but Robert, they're giving us one school out of coming out of Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, they have the better conference. They the ACC has so much What we're only getting one school out of most of these conferences anymore. Simeon: Well, now we won't, but you get what I'm saying. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, I I get what you're saying, but the big twelve is gonna survive because they're selling their soul to literally everyone. Q into the next segment, Micaiah. Micaiah: Shout out to Robert here. So the Big 12 did sell their soul to Monster Energy. they are now the Monster Energy Big 12 conference. it is a multi year deal, multi million dollar a deal worth 20 million per year, and that is evenly distributed amongst the members, each in getting an annual payout between one and 1.25 million dollars, which is a Roberto Con Queso: wait. Simeon: Just the Micaiah: A laughable amount. Robert had his hand up though, so we better let him talk. Simeon: Dude. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. they got rid of the button that has me raise my hand. yeah, I just want to talk about how much of a fleece it is. Simeon: Dude, I Micaiah: Yeah. Simeon: was gonna say the the heist, the the Louvre Heist guys are like, Holy crap, look at this, this is way better than what we did. Roberto Con Queso: Football and basketball, they get their logos everywhere and their name everywhere. And each school just gets what is it one Billy or two or one Billy or Millie? Micaiah: It is w between one and one point two five Millie. Simeon: Millie. Millie. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah that's that is ridiculous. To be fair Simeon: To be fair, that pays NIL for the non to the non football and basketball sport. Roberto Con Queso: Okay, the swords that don't make money. Got it. Micaiah: I but but but but I'm understanding that but but no no no but but I and I do fully understand that but are you telling me and the college football commissioner Josh Pate said that if that if someone sold like branding rights for his show and only got one million dollars a year, he would have fired that guy on the spot. You telling me that there another company was not out there that would pay more than $20 million to be on Big 12, that's asinine. Simeon: You gotta still pay for him now. I'm not telling you. It's the it's it's one of the worst deals. Like Donald Trump's art of the deal is like, dude, you should have read me first. Roberto Con Queso: How how did they not secure a deal with Dr. Pepper? Micaiah: That that's what I'm saying, Robert. Roberto Con Queso: They Dr Pepper has sponsored the big twelve. Micaiah: Championship game, yes. Yeah. Roberto Con Queso: Decades. And somehow you're like, you know what would be great? A million dollars per team monster energy. And we're gonna and you know what? Just for you, we'll put your logo everywhere that you can think of. You you wanna on a bleacher seat? There it is. No, don't worry about it. We'll pay for it. Like, what? Micaiah: Like if you're gonna sell your soul, then at least sell it to like an AI company that's gonna give you like fifty million dollars a year, right? And then it at least then you're pay Roberto Con Queso: you into the next segment. Speaking of AI. Micaiah: Speaking of AI, Texas Tech sold their naming rights, stadium naming rights. It is no longer a Jones ATT Stadium, it is now Galaxy Stadium. They signed a 15 year naming rights partnership with the digital asset and infrastructure company Galaxy. Terms of the deal announced on Friday were not disclosed. The partnership will begin this coming season. it will be renamed to Galaxy Stadium, and the partnership will include NIL opportunities for Texas Tech student athletes. So at least Texas Tech is getting a little more out of it. I don't know what the deal is, but I would have to assume if Cody Campbell is involved, it was for a lot more than $20 million. Roberto Con Queso: Seventy five. Micaiah: For fifteen years, seventy five. Let's do that math. Roberto Con Queso: That's five milli that would be a five million dollar a year. Simeon: That pays for the h that pays for the football team's NIL. Micaiah: That literally paid for an edge rusher and a quarterback. Roberto Con Queso: hey, but tell you what, don't you worry, we're still getting one point two from Monster Energy. Simeon: Okay, I will I will I asked I asked AI what h how bad the deal was. Like legitimately didn't give it any other context besides how bad was the deal. And its in defense section was that monster's paying for all the conversions of the field. Not great, but still good, right? We're not spending any money to get this ad to do this advertising done. And that monster agrees to spend matching ad dollars promoting the big twelve in over a hundred international markets. So now I'm getting students into the door because Monster Energy's paying for them, which at the end of the day is technically the real moneymaker for these schools. Micaiah: So if a school spends five hundred thousand dollars for marketing monsters matching that. Simeon: Come to TCU and they're spending it in the Paul, Monster Energy's putting another five hundred in the Paul. Not horrible. It's not fantastic either, but this was totally this is this had nothing to do with the sports money. It's still undervalued as heck. I'm not defending it. This is a as if your monster going, we spent how much over how long? They're going, okay, yeah, sure. You want to spend another twenty five? Let's go buy the ACC. They want ne they need money. Micaiah: I I I I I I I Yeah. It is currently a hundred and four degrees in Dallas, Texas. This website is telling me. Yeah. So Simeon: that's good to know. It's not. It's seventy three degrees and my AC unit's blasting on my back, so that's what she said. Pause. Micaiah: All right. It's good to be back, man. It is good to be back. We are Simeon: Plus it's a late night. Roberto Con Queso: Amen, brother. Amen. Simeon: Guys guys, we got we got podcast after dark going on right now. Micaiah: Yeah, well, I mean, this might be our new thing podcast after dark with with your timetable. all right. So we're gonna continue on the theme of the Big Twelve. Big 12 got fleeced by Monster Energy. Let us know in the comments. Drop us a like, drop us a share. What what do we think? Could they have gotten a better deal or not? Okay. we got a lot of smart people that listen to this podcast, both in business, in teaching. Roberto Con Queso: I know Simeon: I I mean, yeah. I mean, I feel like this is a I kill you for Klandike Bar situation. That was a great joke. Micaiah: Everywhere shout out dad, shout out Kevin, shout out mom. so just go ahead and let us know. Like could theoretically could they have gotten a better deal? And then Texas Tech, they're getting five million dollars from their stadium name naming rights deal. I would not do a fifty. Simeon: Yes. Did we figure out what that galaxy was? Is it Samsung Galaxy? Micaiah: No it's Roberto Con Queso: No, it's a it's a it's a data center, isn't it? Micaiah: Mm yeah, it's like an infrastructure data management thing. Roberto Con Queso: It's like HP I had it up and now I got rid of it because I'm looking at other things. But it was like two separate things in Texas. Simeon: Okay. Big twelve. Let's talk about Micaiah: I yeah, I would not also sign any partner naming right sponsorship deal any longer than five years. We're gonna have five year turnover. College football is so quick, we're not doing any more than five years because who knows? We might need to re-up the market in five years. Anyway, that's just me. Hire me, Michigan, to be your athletic director. LOL, please don't. No, I don't do that. Roberto Con Queso: Ooh, I don't know. Not not a knock on not a knock on you. But generally what Simeon: You do have a bachelor's. Roberto Con Queso: happens if anyone goes and becomes an athletic director, you are the first person to take the fall for literally everything. And it Yeah, but the things that you're gonna fall for are not what you want to fall for. Q Penn State. Simeon: Have you have you met Mickayah? He's a great fall guy. That's fair. Micaiah: We're cheating right off the bat, ladies and gentlemen of Q Penn State. All right. So Big Twelfth. Simeon: Ha ha. Roberto Con Queso: Ha ha ha. Simeon: Yeah. Roberto Con Queso: I'm glad you got I'm glad that kicked in. Micaiah: man. Simeon: it's gonna be a fun season making fun of. My new job is like all Ohio State fans, so we're gonna have a ton of fun this season. We're not talking about Ohio State. Talk about the big twelve, sorry. Micaiah: But yeah, so Big Twelve, a very interesting season, both off season with Texas Tech and the whole well, just go listen to literally any one of our episodes previous to this one, and you'll find out why. but it is going to be a great season. Lots of parody in the Big Twelve, as we already covered. That either makes them a better conference than the ACC or worse conference than the ACC, depending on how you look at it. Here we go. So, What I want to do is we're not previewing every team. Robert, last last time we talked about ACC, we're basically just gonna pick our champions, who's gonna represent in the championship game, and then who's gonna win off of that? Maybe talk a little bit about them. Simeon, that's basically what we're doing since you listened to last week's episode. So what I'm gonna and I'll start things off. I think Texas Tech has to be at the forefront. Whether or not you have that quarterback, you also have Will Hammond. Should be good to go by week one. Joey Maguire's pretty sure. Joey Maguire's been there for quite some time now. They have nine returning starters. They have a very good transfer portal class. They have a lot of Cody Campbell's money money floating around. They're gonna try to go back to back in the Big 12. And I think you have if you're gonna talk about Big 12, you still. Start with Lubbock, Texas and the Red Raiders. Someone else talked. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, I feel like that's kind of your consensus. well, you know what? I don't think they can they would be my consensus. And mainly because look at when you look at the Big Twelve and you you're just like, who can who can be champion? And you're like, could be this team or it can be this team, and you're like, Well, those are the only two that are there because this conference isn't good and I would say it's probably gonna come down I I would say I would say BYU. Bear Bachmeyer's still there. Micaiah: Eleven returning starters. That is the most in the big twelve. Roberto Con Queso: It's a It's probably it's I would assume that was probably going to be who our two teams in the end is going to be unless we get a surprise from like Kansas State. I would automatically write off Colorado, write off Houston, any team that's not no, don't don't give me the for Houston because we're not going there. Micaiah: Dude, Will Willy Fritz Willy Fritz, man, he runs a good program. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, well Houston's Houston is on the Fritz, okay? That program is on the Fritz. So better Simeon: You have con you're returning your Q B and you got the the if Tulane is the development of all, they got Malachi Hughes from Tulane. and they got the number one overall recruit. Roberto Con Queso: What also helps BYU is the fact that they don't play Texas Tech. So they wouldn't play him until the championship. Micaiah: Mm. I I think teams you can definitely write off are our teams, as you said, Colorado. I think you can write off Iowa State, definitely. Jimmy Rogers got a real kinda zero returning starters, complete rebuild there. Yeah, yeah. I I think you write off Baylor. Yeah. Like, does anyone have faith here on this podcast in Dave Aranda? Are we are we done with him? Simeon: Not that it matters in the big twelve. He got screwed over by that. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, yeah, I I would write. Micaiah: Okay. Roberto Con Queso: Sorry, the dog's dreaming. She's dreaming. Simeon: Someone's dog is dying, yeah. nice. Having a good time it sounds like. No. Micaiah: Cincinnati, how we fe how we feeling about Scott Satterfield at Cincinnati? Ten returning starters. Simeon: I mean I'm liking him, I just don't think they have what it takes. Roberto Con Queso: it's an Eastern Seaboard school, essenti no okay, not Eastern Seaboard 'cause it's Ohio. But they're it's a lot of travel and I just don't think that they Simeon: Here's the question marks for me. Here's the question marks for me. I'm looking I a just to summarize, I'm gonna be using AI a lot this year, so I'm gonna be referencing it a lot. Pay me if you want me to mention what AI I'm using. That's all I'm gonna say. We have question marks in West in Morgantown, in Lawrence, and in Orlando. Roberto Con Queso: I don't think they're that great. Simeon: Those three teams are going to be, I think, what helps decide and quite honest, Stillwater. Those four teams are gonna be what's decides and the more interesting part about the Big Twelve than who I think the championship's gonna be. Champions gonna be. Micaiah: And I don't think any of those teams are the basemen. Simeon: No none of those teams are the basement. But you have f three new coaches and another coach who's I think one getting over the hump away from actually making a run for the let's call it quarterfinals. So yeah, I mean you tell me I I don't love BYU. This is the problem with the Big Twelve. I don't love BYU. Yes, good coach, returning a lot of people, great. Texas Tech, way too much going on outside the locker room for me to be confident in what they can do, plus the amount of turnover. And by the way, guys, we forgot. Their star recruit their star transfer is no longer there. So you go from I don't even know who it is. Some backup? Some B tier quarterback now? Who has to prove himself? Yeah, I don't even know that guy. Sounds like a yummy he sounds like an order from a sounds like an order for a diner. Go ahead. Micaiah: Will h Will Hammond? Yeah, he played he He he he he did play last year in the Utah game. Robert, I'm very interested in the three teams Simeon mentioned, but most specifically, like I I guess in like can can West Virginia have that second year like new coach surgeons? You know how you have like an okay season and then that second year you take off, right? So Simeon: Isn't it his first year? Micaiah: No, Richrod, this is his second. So like yeah, yeah. Morgan Scaly at Utah, his first year there, but you know, kind of you know, same same Scott Frost, so it's it's West Virginia and UCF. Like are are either of those teams, are you anticipating a rocket ship kind of upward? Simeon: Is it? For real? How did I miss that? Roberto Con Queso: I wouldn't say a rocket ship. I would say West Virginia's probably going to outperform UCF. but I wouldn't say I wouldn't I wouldn't give them a rocket ship. I would give them a slow ski chairlift. You know, I mean they had what, four wins last year, you know, if he turn all he has to do is turn it into six. You know, you turn into six, you turn it into seven, you turn into eight. Six through eight you get you get there. That's kinda all you really need. UCF, I gotta go back and look and see even Simeon: This is Scott Frost's first year, right? Micaiah: I think i his second year. Roberto Con Queso: and it's Scott Frost, dude. Simeon: For re how am I forgetting did I lose a year in college football? Have I not? Micaiah: Yes. Yes you did. Yeah, you did. Bunny. Roberto Con Queso: You did, yeah, actually. You know, the hard part with Scott Frost is we know we yeah. We kinda know about Scott Frost just because of him being at Nebraska and he couldn't do it. Simeon: I guess I did, didn't I? Micaiah: But was that a Nebraska problem or Scott Frost problem? Because the current coach at Nebraska is having the same Scott Frost problem. Roberto Con Queso: Well, a lot of that also is the fact that you have to play Ohio State every year. You have to play Michigan, Penn State, whoever, Oregon. You're playing way better competition and you're trying like recruiting at Nebraska should have been kinda. And like you should you okay you go to UCF right now and you say, Okay, let's go ahead and let's recruit the kids from Florida. Okay, that guy's going to Miami. Micaiah: Sure. Simeon: It's the Kansas problem right now. Roberto Con Queso: That one's going to Florida. That one's going to Miami, Florida, Florida State. It's he the way there there's no way he's going to be able to recruit effectively because football in Florida is starting to get better. It was easy when Florida was bad. You know Simeon: A U, F S U Yeah, but now Georgia players are driving eighty in a forty five and so they get to take all the Florida man out of Florida. Roberto Con Queso: But Miami is back to being relatively good, you know, at least consistently. Florida State maybe someday is going to get back to being a five hundred ball club. We don't know. But Simeon: Let's go. Yeah. They're either winning the championship or crap in the bed. We don't know. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, we don't know. One of the two. But to go and say, Hey, come to Orlando versus, hey, let's go to Miami. Let's go, you know, Tallahassee. Okay, all right, well Tallahassee. Gainesville. It's still hot, swampy, but you get to play for a better school, better stuff. It I don't think he's gonna be able to do it. Micaiah: We haven't even talked about the Valley and whether or not someone can activate it from Kenny Dillingham, who it also came out this off a couple weeks ago, that he did actually turn down an offer from the University of Michigan to stay at Arizona State. So will that be a great decision or will it be a man, what if? Because now in a couple years, he has been relieved of duties at Arizona State. You know, hopefully that that I like Kenny a lot. I think I wish him I hope that Arizona State has a great season. Returning nine starters lost his quarterback to Toxis relationship and all of sports, Lane Kiffin and LSU, won the championship two years ago, kind of right in the thick of it last year. Are we writing off Arizona State? Roberto Con Queso: from being a big twelve competitor. See, a lot of it to me is gonna depend on Oklahoma State. Because Oklahoma State essentially just roster swapped with North Texas, and North Texas was a very potent offense. So if that offenseuvers the way that they should, I don't know. I Arizona State might be number five in the conference, which it's not terrible. Because you're number five in the conference. You which means you probably only have four losses total. Maybe. Micaiah: Yeah, I the yeah, the the Big Twelve like w I think we could look up in November and Big Twelve, all Big Twelve teams have two losses. Beginning of November, all Big Twelve teams have have have two conference losses. Yeah. W so I it is going to be there's a lot of parody. We covered that already. Kansas State, Colin Clyde, Colin Klein. Simeon: What happened last year. That's what happened last year. Yeah. Micaiah: Going back to his alma manor, where he had them the number two ranked team in the country at one point in time. Kansas State was the center of the Mecca of college football at one point in time. It's a homecoming for him. The job opened up late because the head coach retired. He then left Texas Tech. I am a sucker for a guy returning to his alma manor to help that. And and and Avery Johnson is there. And Simeon: Kenny State. Micaiah: Avery Johnson is a Colin Klein type quarterback. Can he kind of have that situation and a rebirth of kind of the offense he grew up in and liked to run? Because he's a very good play caller, except when he faces Miami's defense and the wind is blown really hard in a football game. so yeah, the Big 12 is is very, very deep. so what we're gonna do here is we've kind of touched based on all of the teams, or at least the teams worth noting to talk about. TCU, real quick before we pick. Honorable mention TCU, Sonny Dykes, flying under this radar 10 returning starters, sleeper, maybe. Okay, so everyone just watch out for the the horny frogs as my wife likes. Simeon: Honorable mention. Harvard Harvard transfer Jaden Craig. Don't forget about that. Micaiah: Yeah. Yeah. The horny frogs down in Fort Worth. Super smart. Super smart. All right. So Robert, give me your first participant in the Big Twelve title game. Pr these are all right. You're gonna roll Texas Tex. Send me in. Roberto Con Queso: Super smart. He's super smart. Texas Tex. Simeon: BYU. Micaiah: Simeon's gonna roll with BYU. I am going to roll with Texas Tech as well. Robert, number two. All right, Simeon. Roberto Con Queso: P Y U. Texas Tex. Very good, Simeon. Agree. Mackay, you're up. Simeon: Arizona. Micaiah: I am act Okay All right, Sam's rolling with Arizona to be different. I am going to roll with Houston and Willie Fritz. I I'm doing it, man. I just I like it's the old ball coach, man. Roberto Con Queso: A Simeon: It's the this is why the Big Twelve's better than the ACC. You can have one for sure thing, and then the other person's a five and six Duke team who shouldn't be anywhere near the conference championship. Micaiah: Alright, hold hold on here, 'cause we're gonna actually try to keep track of this. Robert, we both picked Miami and SMU last week. Simeon: Wanna play a game? he's writing it down. Roberto Con Queso: I wanna say yeah. Micaiah: I wanna say yeah, so we're that's who we're picking now. Simeon: picked SMU too. Roberto Con Queso: Sounds good. Micaiah: Okay. Thank you, Simeon. Okay. Big twelve. We have Texas TTU. Simeon: You're welcome. Did you guys pick Mountain West? I know you talked about I don't think you picked them. Micaiah: We did not pick Mountain West and BYU. Then Simeon had T BYU and Arizona. Simeon, if you're right, we're gonna hate you and I pick TTU and Houston. We're just gonna keep track of this for bragging rights. All right, real quick, let's just go around pick winners. Robert. Simeon: I like Houston too. We Roberto Con Queso: PY. Micaiah: Okay. Simeon. I'm gonna roll Texas Tech still. So Texas Tech will go back to back. That might be would that be the would that be the would that yes. Would that be their first back to back winner since Oklahoma? Probably. Simeon: BYU. Wouldn't it have been hilarious if I just set a different team? Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Simeon: Mm. Micaiah: I would have to imagine. I don't think they anyone anyone else is. And it's wild to think that Oklahoma ran the Big 12 with Texas there. At least kind of the last five years. All right. All right. So finally today, to kind of close things out as we are at 46 minutes here. We bored people enough with our football talk. So we are going to talk about Simeon: Yeah. Yeah, 'cause that was it's what, four years ago at this point? Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, probably. Simeon: Deep in the hall right of Texas. It's a football podcast. You're gonna have football talked about. Micaiah: Okay. We're go we are going to have a Simeon: Just saying. Don't apologize for doing what you all advertised. Micaiah: Yeah. of the greatest inventions. So man, we kind of talked about this on vacation, family vacation. But we are going to do a snake draft, five picks each. Simeon: Okay. Hot takes here. Micaiah: and it is the greatest inventions that you consider greatest for one reason or another. Okay. So you make the pick and then we'll just keep going unless if someone's like, why did you pick that one? Does anyone want to start? Simeon: That's not how draft works, bro. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. You you just go ahead and say like once Makai, you start it. Simeon: Are you keeping track of who says what so we don't repeat? Micaiah: All right, I'm going No. I I am going to roll with air conditioning. Number one pick, air conditioning. Simeon: Okay. And I I to s to stick with this, Makai, I think you also get refrigeration 'cause they're one and the same. Micaiah: No, sure. Fine. Air conditioning slash refrigeration. Okay. Simeon, you go next. Simeon: give me Give me the printing press. Micaiah: Okay. Robert, y you get the next two picks. Roberto Con Queso: Hm. That's kinda dumb. fr okay, so Micaiah: Ha ha ha Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, let's go the printing press, which is being outdated by computers, Simeon. Great call. Yeah. Ooh. I'm gonna go with the c the combustion engine. Simeon: I don't know. Set the modern world in motion as we know it. Micaiah: Yeah. Simeon: Yeah, a horrible take there. Micaiah: Yeah. Simeon: All right. Good take. Good take. Micaiah: Okay, and Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. let's go with antibiotics. Simeon: was that was my number two. Well, as a good old fuck you to Robert, sorry mom. give me the microprocessor. Micaiah: Okay. Roberto Con Queso: There you go. Micaiah: Okay. All right. I am going to go with airplanes. Roberto Con Queso: I gotta write down what I did. Simeon: I mean again, Makaiah, that's close enough to the combustion engine. Like it's a child. Micaiah: I'm gonna Roberto Con Queso: I'll give it to him. I'll I'll give it to him based off of the turbine. Simeon: Fine. I'll allow it. Micaiah: Okay, fine. Roberto Con Queso: Slash jet slash like jet turbine. I'll give him that. Simeon: Okay. Horrible too. Over just reaching. Robert has cars, yes. And tractors, yes. Trains, yeah. Micaiah: So so Robert did cars then, basically. Robert has cars. Roberto Con Queso: I ha I have I have vehicles. Micaiah: Antibiotics. Simeon: And antibiotics. Great draft right now for Robert. Roberto Con Queso: And antibiotics. Micaiah: All right. All right. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, obviously. Simeon: Yeah. Fantastic draft. Micaiah: And I am I am going to go with the light bulb. Simeon: Okay, we giving you are we giving him the power grid or just the light bulb? Yeah. Yeah. give me give me you guys are gonna hate this, synthetic fertilizer. Roberto Con Queso: Nope, nope, just a light bulb. Okay. Simeon: wait, Makai, you get two. That was only one. It's a snake draft. Micaiah: That not No, I did air I did airplanes and then the light bulb. Yeah. Simeon: and then and then light bulb. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Roberto Con Queso: Airplanes and then Yeah. Yeah. See you did fertilizer. Micaiah: Robert, it's yeah. Roberto Con Queso: let's go. I'll take I'll take the power grid. The modern the modern electric electricity cop you know that whole shebang. and then Simeon: Okay. Roberto Con Queso: kind of a reach, but I'm gonna say the ability to harness microwaves. Micaiah: Okay. Roberto Con Queso: Which would be GPS, R I Simeon: I was gonna say we're giving like radiation technology basically. Roberto Con Queso: Cook cooking like in microwaves and stuff like that. I gotta write these down so I remember them. Simeon: I think I think to be fair, Robert, I think you can take the nuclear bomb off as well. 'Cause a lot of that stemmed from the Manhattan Project. Roberto Con Queso: Listen, if you just want to tell me I already won the draft, I mean that's fine, guys. I'm I'm I'm I'm cooking ya Simeon: No, I'm not I'm not going to. I'm not going I know. Micaiah: Hey, listen, you can have a power grid, but if you got nothing to to turn your lights on in your house, man. Roberto Con Queso: What are you gonna do with a light bulb without the electric without the power grid though, champ? Go ahead and plug into some potatoes. Go plug into potatoes. Micaiah: Yeah, yeah, you you gonna go ahead and sit in that ninety ninety degree house without your air conditioning, Robert? How you gonna get down to to Disney next time you go, huh? You gonna drive? Roberto Con Queso: In my combustion engine car Micaiah: Ha ha ha Simeon: And Simeon's over here just like I've changed the world and kept a million and kept million and I kept millions of people from dying, you know. Roberto Con Queso: I have microprocessors and I have a printing press. Micaiah: I have Roberto Con Queso: I make books. Micaiah: Simon, it is your pi it is your pick, I think. Simeon: This is my fourth pick from what I can tell. I'm gonna reach into the future here a little bit. Just just hold on. Just hold on, and we're gonna go the rocket engine. Micaiah: Yeah, that is correct. Okay. Isn't that close to plane engines? Roberto Con Queso: Now Simeon: See, it's also close to internal combustion, but I get satellites, which also I get from microprocessors. So which in the future Roberto Con Queso: I kind of feel like I would let it slide, but I don't know how. Because it is intertwined. Micaiah: You know what? Simeon: Yeah, same. Micaiah: Yeah, y y you know what? I'm just gonna say it's fine. I'm gonna go with pain meds. So that in th that that's not an antibiotic. Nope. It's it's pain men's. And then I am going to go with Roberto Con Queso: Okay. No it's not an antibiotic, so yeah. Simeon: Last pick. Micaiah: I g like the sanitation system is Simeon: like what is public sewage? Are we gonna Good call. Very good call. That's a great fifth round pick, Mikhail. Roberto Con Queso: But yeah, there you go. Okay, Micaiah: Public sewage, all that. Yeah. Yeah. Roberto Con Queso: okay, okay. Micaiah: Thank you, thank you. Simeon: Taken Okay. Give me give me the US highway system. Micaiah: Okay. Yeah. Roberto Con Queso: Only only if you take Pendot with it. Simeon: Ha ha ha. Roberto Con Queso: That's the caveat right there, baby. Simeon: So is should I should I change that to road infrastructure? Micaiah: I I I I consider yeah, yeah, that's fine. Simeon: w w would you guys allow that? Do I not dig Okay. Roberto Con Queso: I yeah, I w I would s I would I would say I would say the modern road. Yeah. Micaiah: Yeah, that that's fine. That's fine. Robert, it is Roberto Con Queso: I had a question and I was gonna ask his about it. I don't remember what the question was now. I am going to go Vaccines. Simeon: Different than penicillin, different than pain meds. Micaiah: Okay different than antibiotics. All right, all right. So we'll we'll let it slide. Yeah, you know what? Yeah. That that was five. Simeon: Okay, you got one more? it's a snake track. Yeah, we didn't get to come back around. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah, no, no. That's not how that works, I mean. Roberto Con Queso: I was gonna say I didn't I was like Micaiah: No. yeah, so those are that is our draft. That's a pretty good draft. Robert, I do think you kinda cooked a little bit. yeah. However, I I will also say, you know, no one wants to be pooping in in an outhouse. So Roberto Con Queso: Yeah! Simeon: Me. Roberto Con Queso: The fat guy cooked, baby. Micaiah: Shocker, right? Roberto Con Queso: What else is new? Simeon: He eats everything. Yeah, honestly, those Micaiah: What are you whipping up, man? Simeon: chubby arms were real as flapping there. Roberto Con Queso: whipping up whipping up that Well also don't knock the portage on spent many a times in those in the heat, in the cold, on their side, been there, done that. Simeon: Yeah. Micaiah: okay. Simeon: Yeah, I bet you have. Micaiah: No no no. I'm I'm not knocking the the Portage on. Te technically Simeon: Have you actually been in a pornograp? Have you have you been in a portageon on its side before? Micaiah: part of the sanitation system. Roberto Con Queso: No, that would be horrifying. Simeon: I would die. Roberto Con Queso: Yes, that would be horrifying. I have however there has been a time where there was a lady who went in and then she screamed because she dropped her phone in. Micaiah: That Simeon: Mm. Micaiah: Aww Microprocessor down. Roberto Con Queso: And I laughed. Simeon: Microprocessor down. Roberto Con Queso: And her husband had to come and f and fish it out. And I loved every minute. Micaiah: Ew no guess what? Guess what? Getting a new phone. That's what's happening there. Roberto Con Queso: yeah, it's stay I w I would be like Nat's staying in there. That's cool. I'm cool with it. Micaiah: Yeah, it it's staying in there. We we no longer need that. Yeah. Yeah. cement printing press, I mean, what are we doing? Simeon: Yep, by Felicia. Roberto Con Queso: Ha ha. Simeon: Okay, for the I made this argument on family vacation. This literally changed the world. Mass com mass commu yeah, it got replaced by the microprocessor. Who the fuck cares? Mass communication had never been done on scale before, and it was able to do that to the point where nations crumbled, churches shattered, all because of a guy doing this on a lever a couple thousand times. What do you want from me? Roberto Con Queso: It's And it died. I mean why didn't you pick the cotton gin? Micaiah: I wanted a better first round pick. Simeon: It i it's a perfect first round pick. Micaiah: Nah, fifth round pick maybe. Roberto Con Queso: I w I actually think it would go undrafted. Simeon: You guys, you guys gotta get into a history. We read a Wikipedia page for once in your life. Come on. Holy crap. Micaiah: You know what's funny about Wikipedia is now it's a trusted source of information. And when I was in high school fifteen years ago, absolutely not. You couldn't trust a single thing on Wikipedia, but now it is so trusted. Isn't that wild? Roberto Con Queso: Well, that's also because I could go in and change whatever I wanted on Wikipedia too for a hot minute. Micaiah: Can't you still do that or no? Simeon: No, I gotta get approved now by some basement dwellers. Micaiah: Yeah. Guys who Simeon: Series of Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, no one approved it there for a while. You just went and did whatever you did. You could have made yourself president if you wanted to. Simeon: Yeah. Yeah. We've been sick. Roberto Con Queso: You could've you could have went and said that the the printing press was the greatest invention that was ever around. You could have said that. Micaiah: I don't I don't know. Yeah. Simeon: My goal I mean, up until the time, name me a better one. What were you doing in the fourteen seventies besides being a serf? Fourteen forties. Roberto Con Queso: In the fourteen fourteen forties. Simeon: England barely existed. Now it exists because of the printing press. Fourteen forty. Micaiah: Wait, is that when the printing press was I thought the Benjamin Franklin was like the printing press. Simeon: Nah, fam, you're just remembering Liberty Kids too hard. Micaiah: Okay. All right, all right. Dang. so I'm sure our uncle will listen to this, the great doctor Kevin Kern. So let us so let us know honestly if you agree with Simeon or if you or if we missed one. If we missed an Roberto Con Queso: Ha ha Simeon: And he'll agree with me. Am I saying it's the greatest invention of all time? No, but it's way better than a fifth round pick, that's for sure. Micaiah: All right, all right. Well, just real quick, cause we got some time. Out of all of our picks, what is the greatest? Simeon: I mean the internal combustion engine and and synthetic fertilizers have to be up there. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Between those Micaiah: I would also I would also have to say the public works kind of sewage system's gotta be up there. Simeon: The the yeah yeah yeah. Sewage systems. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah, the sewage. Essentially Simeon: Sanit sanitation systems. Yeah. Cause sanitation has Roberto Con Queso: if you take one from each of ours you make you make the combustion engine, fertilizer Simeon: I mean just the the combustion engine has yeah, sanitation systems. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The th the the f two formers there say have saved millions, if not billions, of lives at this point. With Roberto Con Queso: Sewage, yes. Micaiah: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ho however s sneaky good picks here were antibiotics and vaccines. Like, I mean, we're we're saying b w billions of lives here. Simeon: Yeah, another one. Robert say Robert saving a bunch of lives, yeah. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah? Hey. Listen, not only has the combustion engine revolutionized literally travel around the world, but it has given us at least four Georgia football players a year getting arrested. It all comes back around, baby! Micaiah: my gosh. Simeon: It is given e ESPN thousands Micaiah: Ha ha. Simeon: of dollars in ad revenue. Roberto Con Queso: Yeah. Simeon: Go Dogs. Micaiah: Go Dogs, G-E-O-R-G-I-A. That will do it for another riveting episode of Fourth One Podcast. hopefully Simeon will be back on a weekly basis now because we just missed him dearly. He missed a whole year of college football, so we gotta catch him up. Clearly. he was a little preoccupied. So you absolutely were. you you were busy in the last year? Simeon: the goal. It's the goal. Clearly. I was clearly more sleep deprived than I thought I was. Micaiah: Had a kid, bought a house, switched a job. So we're gonna get back, we're gonna get you back into it. anyway, will we be back next week? I don't know. We'll be the week after. We will, as we hit August, though, it will be pretty consistent on a weekly basis. I know. So we may just be back weekly at this point in time. Will it always be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays? I don't know. Yes, Robert? You you got mountain. Simeon: Dude, we're five weeks away from college football. We kinda gotta. Preview this shit. Sorry. Roberto Con Queso: I know, you guys just you just tell me, Hey, we're getting on and I say, Okay. One step at a time, one deep breath at a time, my man. Simeon: He's gonna climb them stairs, fall up and we'll be good to go. In through the mouth, out through the nose. Let's go, baby! Roberto Con Queso: I'll get there one way. I'll strap that O two tank on and rock it. Micaiah: And use your combustion engine to get up them stairs. All right, everyone. Remember to wash your hands, you filthy animals. The invention of soap. I dude, I think they took away our music. I don't know where it is. JK, it's right there. thank you everyone for being here. Make sure you wash your hands, you filthy animals. We will see you next week. For this has been the fourth one podcast. Keep it. Roberto Con Queso: yeah. Simeon: Do we not hit the music anymore? That's the wrong one, but that's okay. Micaiah: Chile. So you
