Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody. Welcome to Pink Shade. It's Monday. It's Mugshot Monday.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I'm here with my girl, Keisha, to talk about love
- 0:22Speaker 1: after lockup, relationship rehab, season one, episode four, confessions.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you what.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Tell me.
- 0:29Speaker 2: If You know, sometimes you just feel like, I want
- 0:33Speaker 2: to be depressed. I'm not depressed. I want to be depressed.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I want to be sad. I need a good cry.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yes.
- 0:42Speaker 2: So you need to watch this show because it will
- 0:46Speaker 2: not tickle your funny bone at all.
- 0:50Speaker 1: No. It's a downer. It's a real downer.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But it's just so good. I find it so compelling
- 0:58Speaker 1: and so watchable. And it's really keeping my attention because
- 1:03Speaker 1: we get some of these Love After Lockup spinoff shows
- 1:05Speaker 1: and we're like, fake, fake upon fake, fake, fake.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Right. Yes. And it is good to see these people
- 1:14Speaker 2: in a new light because we're so used to them
- 1:16Speaker 2: doing the stupidest of things.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Wearing horrible wigs, horrible eyelashes, horrible outfits. She's doing stupid, stupid,
- 1:26Speaker 2: stupid shit. And I feel like we're starting to see
- 1:29Speaker 2: the real them. Now, some of them are still stupid.
- 1:33Speaker 2: They are. Like, that's just who they are.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Sometimes you just can't change that. It's just in you.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You can't change that. It is what it is. But
- 1:40Speaker 2: it is good to see them in a more mature light.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And I'm using maturely very mildly because we still do
- 1:48Speaker 2: have Julius, who we're not sure if he knows all
- 1:51Speaker 2: the words in English language or not.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Right, right, right. It's questionable. And we've got Joey.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We've got Joey.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I know. And God bless, you know. Going into this
- 2:02Speaker 1: and just getting through the first episode, we were like, okay,
- 2:04Speaker 1: these people are dumb, dumb dummies. But I really do think,
- 2:09Speaker 1: and especially with somebody like Julius, I feel like we're
- 2:11Speaker 1: learning more about him. And when he does get a
- 2:14Speaker 1: chance to really express himself, he doesn't come across like
- 2:18Speaker 1: he's only rubbing those two brain cells together. He actually
- 2:20Speaker 1: sounds like he kind of knows what's what. A little bit.
- 2:26Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 2:26Speaker 2: A little bit, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I do feel like having Dr. Ish and then the
- 2:31Speaker 1: guy Yusef that was on, that was from the prison reform.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I think these two guys are so important and we
- 2:38Speaker 1: need to really start onboarding Dr. Ish and Yusef for
- 2:45Speaker 1: all these people coming out of prison. They all need it.
- 2:47Speaker 2: They almost, can you imagine if they were required to
- 2:50Speaker 2: go to, you know, some of these halfway houses that
- 2:54Speaker 2: they go to, I think they're just there to collect
- 2:57Speaker 2: the check. they don't give a fuck about these people
- 3:00Speaker 2: that like getting their rehabilitated. They don't care. They're like, look,
- 3:03Speaker 2: check in, check out. That's it. Do whatever the fuck
- 3:05Speaker 2: you want to. Yeah. I'm not going to test you
- 3:07Speaker 2: or anything like that. Right. Bring me a biscuit sandwich
- 3:10Speaker 2: from Chick-fil-A. We come back. That's how they are. Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 2: If they went through a program with these two, I
- 3:17Speaker 2: don't think we would even need a season like this.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I really don't. Yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I mean, it's really, and people are, If they really
- 3:25Speaker 1: do want to get better, get help, then this is,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I mean, it's just a great show. It just really is.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But again, like you said, it's not for your Friday
- 3:36Speaker 1: night giggles of having a good time, kicking back and
- 3:38Speaker 1: having a great time.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You're most definitely going to need to touch some grass,
- 3:43Speaker 2: hug a puppy, drink some chamomile tea, you know, because
- 3:48Speaker 2: it's a lot. It's kind of draining a little bit.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I know. So let's talk about it. Let's talk about it.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 3:55Speaker 1: All right. So this is season one, episode four of
- 3:59Speaker 1: Relationship Rehab Confessions. Now, we open where we left, which
- 4:04Speaker 1: is they were getting those like chalk rocks and throwing
- 4:07Speaker 1: them like smash your verbal abuse, smash your whatever. And
- 4:12Speaker 1: we open with Kimberly and Joey talking about Joey like
- 4:19Speaker 1: nodded off from methadone while he had her kids in
- 4:22Speaker 1: the car.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So they are asking her, Kimberly, did you know about this?
- 4:28Speaker 1: And she is saying, absolutely not. And then her talking
- 4:31Speaker 1: and she goes, I'm thinking about this. And what he's
- 4:34Speaker 1: the time frame of what he's telling me was two
- 4:37Speaker 1: years ago. And she says, so I'm gritting my teeth
- 4:41Speaker 1: and holding back my tears, but I want to hurt him.
- 4:44Speaker 1: He put my children in danger. So, so they're five
- 4:47Speaker 1: and seven now. So those kids were three and five
- 4:51Speaker 1: when he did this. That's heartbreaking. It's so scary.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It really is. And I feel like she would have
- 4:59Speaker 2: been justified if she would have thrown him off a cliff.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I think everyone that would have said she totally blacked
- 5:05Speaker 2: out and complete insanity for doing that because, and you
- 5:10Speaker 2: did it in front of all these people and then
- 5:12Speaker 2: you did it on TV, you know?
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's just, it, I think that her point here is
- 5:17Speaker 1: so valid of saying like, I didn't know. So I
- 5:20Speaker 1: had no option to break up with you because I didn't,
- 5:23Speaker 1: have all the information. She goes, right. I wish I
- 5:26Speaker 1: would have known that because I would have been done
- 5:28Speaker 1: and left you and walked away from you. Like you
- 5:30Speaker 1: never existed. Like two years. I don't know if she
- 5:35Speaker 1: would have, but I think her threatening to leave and
- 5:39Speaker 1: putting him into a rehab again, may have done something
- 5:42Speaker 1: different if he would have known what the stakes were,
- 5:45Speaker 1: but he's like, I got away with it, you know? Um,
- 5:48Speaker 1: He says, you know, the methadone clinic gave me those
- 5:52Speaker 1: meds at 2 p.m. And she goes, that's because you
- 5:56Speaker 1: were lying to them to say it wasn't working. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: they just kept bumping it up. So don't try to
- 6:00Speaker 1: like blame the methadone clinic for giving you too much
- 6:03Speaker 1: because you were lying.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And he goes, right. Well, that's what an addict's going
- 6:07Speaker 1: to do. But it is my fault. I am sorry.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And now I'm being honest. He really wants a lot
- 6:12Speaker 1: of credit here for being honest and he's not getting
- 6:16Speaker 1: that it's just really hard for these people to be like,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I don't give a flying fuck that you're being honest now.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Because the kids were involved and I don't think he
- 6:24Speaker 2: sees the severity in that. I mean, I don't know
- 6:27Speaker 2: if he should have just kept that one close to
- 6:29Speaker 2: the chest. I'm not real sure, but considering they fucked
- 6:36Speaker 2: that night, it worked for it. It worked in his favor.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I don't know. Disgusting. So, And the talking head together,
- 6:43Speaker 1: you know, she has a, you can feel that her
- 6:46Speaker 1: parent guilt is coming in. She was like, what made
- 6:48Speaker 1: me think it was okay to send him in the
- 6:51Speaker 1: car with my babies? And he told me over and over,
- 6:54Speaker 1: never once there was ever a time when my kids
- 6:57Speaker 1: were unsafe with him. And I believed him. She says,
- 7:03Speaker 1: this is what I'm having, you know, trouble with her
- 7:06Speaker 1: as well here because, but For my own situation that
- 7:11Speaker 1: I went through with my husband being in recovery for alcoholism,
- 7:15Speaker 1: there are a lot of times when you're like, this
- 7:18Speaker 1: is the father of these children and he would never
- 7:21Speaker 1: put them in danger. And that's what you think. But
- 7:24Speaker 1: an addict will tell you later when they're more clear,
- 7:27Speaker 1: they will say, I didn't care about you. I didn't
- 7:29Speaker 1: care about the kids. I didn't care about my parents.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I didn't care. All I cared about was trying to
- 7:34Speaker 1: get the thing that I wanted. And So I see
- 7:38Speaker 1: how this happened and I see how she horribly blames
- 7:41Speaker 1: herself for believing him, for believing him to do so
- 7:45Speaker 1: and continuing to do so. But I think her point
- 7:47Speaker 1: is so valid is like two years ago, if I
- 7:49Speaker 1: had this information, I really could have made a different choice.
- 7:53Speaker 1: We don't know if she would have, but she would
- 7:55Speaker 1: have had the option. He says, well, that was the
- 7:59Speaker 1: absolute worst thing I could have did. And I know that.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And I did betray her. I did. But he stops short, right?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Every time he's about to do the full apology, he's like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: but they gave me the methadone, you know?
- 8:11Speaker 2: It's always someone else's fault for what he did. Like,
- 8:15Speaker 2: you're right. He's almost there every single time. And right
- 8:20Speaker 2: when he's about to climax, it all goes back. Oh, God.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Every time.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I wish you wouldn't have given me that visual. That's... Well,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:29Speaker 2: No. Oh, Abraham Lincoln and his hips.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He says, he says, I know how bad it was.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And then after that incident in the car, I stopped.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I stopped. And she goes, uh-huh. And he goes, I
- 8:44Speaker 1: went to rehab. And she goes, yeah, but then you
- 8:47Speaker 1: came home and relapsed on something different. And he says here,
- 8:53Speaker 1: he says, yeah, but you said it don't matter if
- 8:57Speaker 1: I relapse. It's what you do after. So do we
- 9:00Speaker 1: really think she said to him? I don't care.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I do. Keep relapsing just as long as you fix
- 9:05Speaker 1: it afterwards.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I do. She treats them like a child. It doesn't
- 9:11Speaker 2: matter that you made a D. Just keep trying. As
- 9:15Speaker 2: long as I know you're trying, you can still keep
- 9:17Speaker 2: bringing home a D. Yes, I do think that she
- 9:20Speaker 2: said something like that. And you cannot tell someone like
- 9:23Speaker 2: him that. That is like giving him the green light. Right.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I could keep fucking up. Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 1: For her to say it doesn't matter if you relapse,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it's what you do after, I assume that what he's
- 9:35Speaker 1: learned in all his treatment or a little bit of
- 9:38Speaker 1: treatment that he's had is, of course, it does matter
- 9:41Speaker 1: if you relapse. But a lot of people will say
- 9:44Speaker 1: relapse is part of recovery. My husband doesn't believe that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: He's like, no, relapse is relapse. It's not part of recovery.
- 9:52Speaker 1: The relapse is relapse. But, of course, it does happen,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and it does matter what you do after. But not
- 10:00Speaker 1: if you're doing that every week, and that's your excuse
- 10:02Speaker 1: every single week, which just sounds kind of like what
- 10:05Speaker 1: he's done.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I just feel like he's just going to be a
- 10:08Speaker 2: life longer.
- 10:08Speaker 1: He says, you know, it's not if you relapse is
- 10:13Speaker 1: what you do after. And she goes, but you haven't
- 10:15Speaker 1: fucking done it. He goes, you go get me pissed up.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Tell me I had done it. And she goes, you're
- 10:21Speaker 1: not doing the work to stay that way. I beg
- 10:24Speaker 1: you to go to church. We have a program at
- 10:26Speaker 1: five every Sunday. In addition to he should be going
- 10:29Speaker 1: to meetings every day. And she goes, and I've been
- 10:31Speaker 1: begging you to go to that since you first got
- 10:33Speaker 1: out of jail. And he goes, I want you to
- 10:35Speaker 1: go with me. And he goes, why do I have
- 10:38Speaker 1: to ask you to go? Like, go ahead. You can
- 10:41Speaker 1: go to the meeting. And he goes, you do that
- 10:44Speaker 1: with your kids. And she goes, they're fucking five and seven.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So is he. He's eight.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He says, well, I'm a big kid. And Dr. Ish
- 10:53Speaker 1: looks at him and goes, so you want her to
- 10:54Speaker 1: treat you like a kid? And he goes, sometimes I
- 10:58Speaker 1: need to because I'm not developed all the way. I
- 11:01Speaker 1: am stuck. I am stuck. Now, this part I believe.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I believe it. Yes. 100%.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But to get unstuck, you can't continue to have your
- 11:11Speaker 1: romantic partner enable you and treat you like a child.
- 11:14Speaker 1: To get unstuck, you need to put on your big
- 11:16Speaker 1: boy pants and do big boy things.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I really felt it and I felt bad for
- 11:22Speaker 2: him when he said that he was stuck because I
- 11:26Speaker 2: think that is the honest to God truth. But I
- 11:28Speaker 2: also think he uses it as an excuse.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you see it here. I can't go to the
- 11:33Speaker 1: church to go to an AA or an NA meeting,
- 11:36Speaker 1: which they have every Sunday at five. He should, again,
- 11:38Speaker 1: and I think everybody out there that's known somebody in addiction,
- 11:42Speaker 1: anything would agree with me. He needs to be going
- 11:44Speaker 1: every day.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Well, I also think that if he goes to the church,
- 11:47Speaker 2: he's going to burst into flames. So maybe that's why
- 11:49Speaker 2: he doesn't want to go to the church meetings. But however,
- 11:52Speaker 2: he needs to be going to some meeting somewhere every day.
- 11:57Speaker 2: He doesn't have a job.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You can't wait till Sunday, not Sunday at five every day.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Y'all, I have been traveling like crazy lately. So I
- 12:07Speaker 1: have to be really judicious with what is in my bag.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I don't have all the space in the world and
- 12:11Speaker 1: I got to keep it lean and mean. So here's
- 12:13Speaker 1: what I have in my purse. Of course, I've got
- 12:15Speaker 1: my readers and my wallet and my keys, duh. But
- 12:18Speaker 1: I also have the Thrive Cosmetics Focus Eyeshadow Palette because
- 12:22Speaker 1: I can touch up my eyes easily and it has
- 12:24Speaker 1: a mirror which comes in super handy all day long.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I also have Thrive's new Lasting Mark Lip Defining Stain.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And of course, my favorite thing in the whole wide

- 12:49Speaker 1: that feels like bare lips, only better. And it hydrates
- 12:52Speaker 1: your lips instead of drying them out, which is key
- 12:55Speaker 1: for us ladies of a certain age. I can't ever
- 12:57Speaker 1: talk about Thrive without talking about their award-winning tubing Liquid
- 13:02Speaker 1: Lash Extensions Mascara. It has over 40,000 five-star reviews. I
- 13:06Speaker 1: am one of them. It is the only mascara I wear, period.
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's fantastic. When I was getting my makeup done for
- 13:13Speaker 1: our event in New York, I insisted to the makeup
- 13:15Speaker 1: lady that I use my own Thrive Mascara because I
- 13:18Speaker 1: can be totally sure it's going to look perfect every time.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And did you know for that every product purchased, Thrive
- 13:26Speaker 1: Cosmetics donates products and funds to help communities thrive. They
- 13:30Speaker 1: have given over $ 185 million in product and cash donations
- 13:35Speaker 1: to over 700 giving partners. That's incredible, guys. So get

- 14:04Speaker 1: All right, y'all, let's talk about being in the mood.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's pretty hard to feel frisky when your
- 14:10Speaker 1: brain has 40 tabs open and four email boxes that
- 14:13Speaker 1: you're checking. Am I right? Well, luckily for us, Dame
- 14:16Speaker 1: made something exactly for that. You know, low desire isn't
- 14:19Speaker 1: usually a you problem. It's usually a stress problem. And
- 14:23Speaker 1: that is the idea behind Dame's desire gummies. The whole
- 14:26Speaker 1: routine with the gummies is this. You take three strawberry
- 14:30Speaker 1: mango gummies a day. And of all the things we
- 14:32Speaker 1: do for ourselves, this is the easiest self-care habit you
- 14:36Speaker 1: can pick up. And here's the science-y part, okay? Dame
- 14:39Speaker 1: didn't just cite ingredient research. They studied the actual gummy
- 14:43Speaker 1: on real women and 85% reported increased desire in four weeks.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Dame did a four-week observational study run by a third-party
- 14:53Speaker 1: lab with 53 women aged 24 to 52 who reported
- 14:57Speaker 1: the low desire and stressful lifestyles. Now, the study participants
- 15:00Speaker 1: that reported improvement said they had increased sexual desire by 85%,
- 15:05Speaker 1: reduced stress and anxiety by 87%, and improved mood by 93%.
- 15:10Speaker 1: My gosh, y'all, if I could improve my mood by 93%,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you know, everybody in this house wins. And because it's
- 15:18Speaker 1: a daily ritual, Dame makes it easy. You just subscribe
- 15:22Speaker 1: and you'll save 15% on every order. It's delivered every
- 15:25Speaker 1: 20 days and my code stacks on top of that code.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So you really do need to subscribe because it's a
- 15:31Speaker 1: daily supplement and you definitely don't want to run out.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So if you want to see for yourself and get
- 15:35Speaker 1: 15% off these gummies, go to dame.com and use code pinkshade. Remember,
- 15:42Speaker 1: you can subscribe with the code pinkshade and the discounts
- 15:44Speaker 1: will stack. 15% off the code plus 15% off every
- 15:49Speaker 1: subscription order. That's dame.com. Use code pink shade for 15%
- 15:55Speaker 1: off the desire gummies. So Michael hears this. And of course,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Michael has to cry six times every episode. So he
- 16:03Speaker 1: starts crying.
- 16:03Speaker 2: He did. What?
- 16:07Speaker 1: He starts crying. And then Brittany cries because, you know,
- 16:11Speaker 1: she gets it. She gets it. And Joey says, I'm stuck.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I don't know how to do things. Like I only
- 16:18Speaker 1: know how to do one thing, run in the streets.
- 16:23Speaker 1: So in the talking head with Michael and Justine, Michael says,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I really understand that struggle that Joey is fighting. And
- 16:29Speaker 1: I think Joey does have the power and the mind
- 16:33Speaker 1: to stay sober, but he really needs help. Like he needs,
- 16:37Speaker 1: he can't do it without the help.
- 16:39Speaker 2: He needs to go away for a while.
- 16:42Speaker 1: He needs to be in like an outpatient where he
- 16:44Speaker 1: has to report somewhere every single day.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Every single day.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Maybe you could take a break on Saturday and Sunday.
- 16:49Speaker 1: He goes to that meeting.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I mean, he can't report to Kimberly. He needs to like, exactly.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Professional help. Yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 1: So Kimberly says, I'm going to be honest. I don't
- 17:00Speaker 1: know if I'm in love with you or the person
- 17:02Speaker 1: I thought you could be. And he goes, um, He goes, well,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you don't know who I can be, and I don't either.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I just know who I have been. I have been
- 17:12Speaker 1: that person. Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 2: He's committed to who he is.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Well, he is.
- 17:18Speaker 2: He don't fake the funk at all. He really doesn't.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Fake the funk. So Dr. Ish says, I'm proud of
- 17:25Speaker 1: both of you. Why don't we take a break, right?
- 17:28Speaker 1: So they go sit down. And the talking head, Joey, says,
- 17:32Speaker 1: in the middle of addiction, you do horrible things. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: I understand that. And I'm sorry for it. And she says,
- 17:39Speaker 1: you have said those words. I'm sorry. So many times.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And they just don't mean anything anymore.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And he goes, I never meant it before now. I mean,
- 17:48Speaker 1: for his vocabulary alone, she should break up with him.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I don't know what she sees in him.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I don't either.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I'm just like.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Like some of these guys, we can see it like, okay,
- 17:59Speaker 1: they're digmatized. He's good looking.
- 18:01Speaker 2: She's not even getting dick from him.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I don't.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I don't, it makes me look at her sideways a
- 18:08Speaker 2: little bit.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It makes you wonder what's.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Wrong with you. Like what is going on in your
- 18:13Speaker 2: head that you want? I mean, you could go adopt
- 18:15Speaker 2: a child. Why would you adopt the crackhead? You know,
- 18:18Speaker 2: I don't, why would you do that? Adopt a crackhead
- 18:27Speaker 2: and bring them home to be around your fucking kids.
- 18:31Speaker 1: That is true. I don't, In a relationship, it has
- 18:36Speaker 1: to be two ways and people, each person has to
- 18:38Speaker 1: be getting something out of it to make you want
- 18:40Speaker 1: to stay. And she's getting nothing. Nothing at all.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Just complete heartache. I mean, he's just an extra expense. Like,
- 18:47Speaker 2: I mean, she's got to clothe him, feed him, give
- 18:50Speaker 2: him gas so he can go pick up his drugs. Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 2: It's too much.
- 18:55Speaker 1: It's just like, just heartache after heartache after heartache, you know? Um,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and I think she, we see this sometimes, like she
- 19:03Speaker 1: feels like, well, if I do let him go, he's
- 19:05Speaker 1: going to die and it'll be my fault, which of
- 19:08Speaker 1: course it would not be her fault.
- 19:09Speaker 2: It wouldn't be your fault.
- 19:11Speaker 1: She just needs Al-Anon so bad. She needs her own
- 19:14Speaker 1: separate treatment for her issues, you know? So when her
- 19:18Speaker 1: talking head Kimberly goes, I'm not ready to forgive him.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Meaning for this, him nodding off with her kids in
- 19:23Speaker 1: the car. Um, and I have to decide if I
- 19:27Speaker 1: can ever look at him the same. And you see,
- 19:29Speaker 1: he walked off. He wants me to chase him because
- 19:32Speaker 1: that's what I do. I chase him and he wants
- 19:35Speaker 1: me to go over there and talk to him, but
- 19:37Speaker 1: I'm not going to. So sure, he's sorry. But it
- 19:39Speaker 1: was two years ago. And just right now, I'm sorry.
- 19:41Speaker 1: He's not good enough for me. So it's interesting that
- 19:44Speaker 1: their dynamic is he does something to fuck up and goes, well,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm leaving. And then she runs after him when she.
- 19:50Speaker 1: done nothing wrong.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And we saw that during one of their seasons. Like
- 19:55Speaker 2: he failed a drug test or he wouldn't take the
- 19:57Speaker 2: drug test. I cannot remember what it was. And he
- 20:00Speaker 2: takes off and there's still in her overalls chasing him down.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Like for what? And it makes no sense. This man
- 20:08Speaker 1: is not safe to be on the.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Roads not at all stevie wonder is safer on the
- 20:14Speaker 2: roads than joey.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Is okay true it's true um do you think stevie
- 20:20Speaker 1: wonder gets tired of being the butt of all the
- 20:22Speaker 1: blind jokes like even stevie wonder could see that this
- 20:25Speaker 1: is yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's well he never sees them coming so.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God. You guys, when I'm out of town,
- 20:37Speaker 1: what are Keisha and Kimberly going to do? What are
- 20:40Speaker 1: they going to say on my show? It's going to
- 20:43Speaker 1: be your show for the week. I have to let
- 20:45Speaker 1: it go. Okay.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Just let it go.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Enjoy Italy.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Just trust us. Have we ever let you down?
- 20:54Speaker 1: No, you haven't.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That's the first time for everything.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I love you girls. I know it's going to be fine.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It's going to be fine. Everything's fine. I'm just like Kimberly.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Just go, just go.
- 21:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So did you notice now when they're taking this break
- 21:13Speaker 1: that every single person is vaping?
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Except Melissa and Louie. I don't see Melissa and Louie vaping.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Because they're the most normal people on the show.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't.
- 21:24Speaker 2: The most she has to complain about is that she
- 21:26Speaker 2: has to help him find the fucking hummus. Everyone else
- 21:29Speaker 2: has anger issues. They don't have jobs. They're still on drugs.
- 21:34Speaker 2: One of them only knows five words. Like, yes, they
- 21:38Speaker 2: need to vape. Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 1: They need to vape.
- 21:41Speaker 2: They do.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I was surprised that even Kimberly was just really hitting
- 21:48Speaker 1: that vape. And Justine.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Look. Get all that crying, all that snorting drugs. These
- 21:56Speaker 2: women need a break. They need a vacation.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess.
- 22:00Speaker 2: They're dealing with a lot.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I just, I was surprised. They're like those hardcore vapes too,
- 22:04Speaker 1: with like the water in it and all that stuff.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Not like the little ones that the kids use.
- 22:09Speaker 2: That's for children. No, they need the big girls though.
- 22:13Speaker 2: For children.
- 22:15Speaker 1: These are vapes for children. They're dealing with a lot.
- 22:18Speaker 2: They're dealing with way more than what we thought they
- 22:21Speaker 2: were dealing with. Yes. And then plus Justine's got 17
- 22:24Speaker 2: kids at home too.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's right. That's right. That's why I was surprised that
- 22:27Speaker 1: she would be vaping, but whatever. Why am I surprised?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:30Speaker 1: So do what you, smoke them if you got them.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So the girls are talking and Melissa says to Kimberly, look,
- 22:40Speaker 1: if what he's trying to do to get sober hasn't worked,
- 22:43Speaker 1: he needs to try something else. You know, for, for Louie, like,
- 22:47Speaker 1: If he didn't go to meetings, that would not work
- 22:49Speaker 1: for him. Like Louie has to go to meetings. So
- 22:52Speaker 1: that's maybe what he has to do here. He has
- 22:54Speaker 1: to go. He needs to go. So in her talking
- 22:57Speaker 1: to him, Melissa says she understands living with a recovering addict.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It is in your mind that they could relapse. And
- 23:04Speaker 1: Melissa goes, but for me, it's very far back in
- 23:06Speaker 1: my mind because Louie is like living amends. Like he
- 23:10Speaker 1: is showing you every single day that what the work
- 23:14Speaker 1: that he's doing to not fall back into his addiction,
- 23:16Speaker 1: he's actively working it. So for Melissa, it's like me,
- 23:20Speaker 1: it's in my mind, but it's way back there. Like
- 23:23Speaker 1: it's really not something I think of every day ever.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And here's the thing. She never had to experience him
- 23:29Speaker 2: while he was on drugs too. And I just got
- 23:32Speaker 2: to say this, okay. In her confessional with that thing
- 23:36Speaker 2: on her neck.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I don't understand it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Do you know the story of the... It's like a
- 23:42Speaker 2: scary story.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yes, about the ribbon and the neck falls off. The
- 23:45Speaker 1: girl with the ribbon.
- 23:46Speaker 2: That's her. Yes. That is her.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I don't know what that story is, but I know
- 23:51Speaker 1: what you're talking about. It's a girl with the ribbon
- 23:52Speaker 1: and she unties it and her whole head falls off.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Because she's dead.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:56Speaker 2: And that is who Melissa is, skin tone and all.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. On Wednesday, our episode will
- 24:03Speaker 1: come out about Welcome to Plathville. We're in season five
- 24:05Speaker 1: and Mariah is in her Morticia Adams era and If
- 24:09Speaker 1: you haven't seen it yet, Keisha, I just wrote the
- 24:11Speaker 1: notes for it for Wednesday.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I haven't seen it.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I don't know how, but she's gotten paler. She has
- 24:18Speaker 1: become a whiter shade of pale. I don't know how Mariah.
- 24:24Speaker 1: So Melissa looks like a very healthy, flushed person compared
- 24:27Speaker 1: to Mariah Plath in season five.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Oh, so she, okay. So maybe she's being attacked by
- 24:34Speaker 2: vampires nightly. Yeah.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and she also loves a black string around the neck. Okay. Okay,
- 24:41Speaker 1: so Melissa explains how she feels, and she says, I
- 24:44Speaker 1: want Kimberly to get to that every single day where
- 24:47Speaker 1: she's not worried about him every single day relapsing. And
- 24:51Speaker 1: I think Kimberly goes through her day many times a day.
- 24:54Speaker 1: If she can't locate him, if he's got the kids
- 24:56Speaker 1: in the car, if he's supposed to be making some
- 24:58Speaker 1: mac and cheese for dinner, probably every single day she's worried.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I just.
- 25:03Speaker 1: That's too much.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yes. I don't think he needs to be alone with
- 25:08Speaker 2: her children. And I cannot... I know the dad is
- 25:12Speaker 2: not the greatest dad, but he is involved. I would
- 25:16Speaker 2: have to step in and say, like, look, things are
- 25:19Speaker 2: not great between you and I, but I don't feel
- 25:21Speaker 2: comfortable with your crackhead husband driving our kids or being
- 25:26Speaker 2: alone with our kids. He doesn't need to be alone
- 25:28Speaker 2: with the kids right now. I agree. He just doesn't. Yeah. Sorry, Joey.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So, Joey... walks up to her because she didn't go
- 25:38Speaker 1: and chase him of course so he walks up and
- 25:40Speaker 1: goes so if i go like could you stay and
- 25:43Speaker 1: she goes what and he goes like i want to
- 25:45Speaker 1: go home there's no point so it's literally like been
- 25:48Speaker 1: 10 minutes since they had this and he gives her
- 25:51Speaker 1: zero time to like process and he goes he goes
- 25:54Speaker 1: you can't even conversate with me and she goes i
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't have anything nice to say so i don't want
- 26:00Speaker 1: to talk to you so i don't say anything that
- 26:02Speaker 1: i don't mean And he goes, y'all just take my
- 26:05Speaker 1: mic off. Call me an Uber. I'm a little boy
- 26:09Speaker 1: having a fit.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he had a fit. Yes. Like, literally, it has
- 26:14Speaker 2: been 10 minutes. Like, go take your Xanax. Go chill out.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But I think he's used to he does something and
- 26:22Speaker 2: she immediately goes into mom mode. Yes. Why did you
- 26:25Speaker 2: do this? I told you not to do this. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 26:29Speaker 2: That's what he expects. And she's just not doing it
- 26:31Speaker 2: this time because she's got a support system behind her.
- 26:34Speaker 1: It's awful. So she's sitting with her girls and she goes, see,
- 26:40Speaker 1: he just wants me to cave. He just wants me
- 26:42Speaker 1: to cave, but I'm not ready to talk right now.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So he goes, maybe I should not have even told you.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Maybe I should have just hid it from you. And
- 26:52Speaker 1: she goes, you did hide it from me. And then
- 26:55Speaker 1: I married you after that. So she, I mean, these
- 26:59Speaker 1: are like steps she's got to walk through in her brain, right?
- 27:01Speaker 2: It's a lot to process.
- 27:04Speaker 1: So he goes, you know, I came here to be
- 27:07Speaker 1: honest and not lie about nothing. And I hadn't lied
- 27:09Speaker 1: about nothing. And so Brittany goes, hey, Joey, give it
- 27:13Speaker 1: a little bit of a time. Give a little bit
- 27:15Speaker 1: of time here. Like those are her babies and she
- 27:17Speaker 1: needs a time to think about it. He goes, they're
- 27:19Speaker 1: my babies, too. And that's why this is traumatic for me.
- 27:23Speaker 2: It's traumatic for me. It's traumatic for me that I
- 27:29Speaker 2: chose to do drugs and halfway fall off a cliff
- 27:32Speaker 2: with fucking kids in the backseat.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Bro.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Really?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Really. So Kimberly says to Melissa, okay, so it was
- 27:42Speaker 1: traumatic for him.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He almost took away my children's lives, but it was
- 27:48Speaker 1: traumatic for him.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 1: She goes, he almost took away the one thing I
- 27:53Speaker 1: feel like I did right in my life. He's already
- 27:56Speaker 1: taken my money, my pride, my self-esteem, but you could
- 27:59Speaker 1: have taken my fucking kids. I don't give a fuck
- 28:01Speaker 1: how he feels right now. He held this for me
- 28:04Speaker 1: for two years, and he can't even give me two
- 28:07Speaker 1: hours to process it, and he wants to run?
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah. He ain't going to run.
- 28:13Speaker 1: She's talking it through. I think she's never talked it
- 28:15Speaker 1: through before.
- 28:16Speaker 2: She's never had anyone to talk it through with.
- 28:18Speaker 1: That's right, because nobody wants to talk to her about
- 28:21Speaker 1: this shit anymore. They're over it.
- 28:23Speaker 2: And her dad is still pissed off because he stole
- 28:25Speaker 2: that 4Runner, you know, all those years ago. And every
- 28:29Speaker 2: time she probably goes to her dad about a problem,
- 28:31Speaker 2: he brings that up.
- 28:32Speaker 1: He goes, remember.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I tried to warn you.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I tried to warn you. That boy was trouble when
- 28:35Speaker 1: he was 16. Yeah. So Joey goes in to sit
- 28:39Speaker 1: and talk with Marcelino and Michael. And Joey goes, I mean,
- 28:44Speaker 1: you know, it did pass out. It was only a
- 28:46Speaker 1: couple seconds. But see, he just can't. He cannot get enough.
- 28:52Speaker 1: But it could have gone wrong. He should have just said.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It did go wrong.
- 28:55Speaker 1: For he goes, but it could have gone wrong. And
- 28:58Speaker 1: they're like, yeah, bro. You know, no. That's a mom
- 29:02Speaker 1: who cares for her kids. Like, this is shocking. This
- 29:05Speaker 1: is shocking. And he goes, I could see that look
- 29:08Speaker 1: in her eyes. I ain't never seen it before. You know,
- 29:11Speaker 1: it was a mistake. But I didn't have to tell her.
- 29:14Speaker 1: And he can't. He always has to say that next sentence, right?
- 29:18Speaker 1: He can't just say.
- 29:18Speaker 2: He's a child.
- 29:20Speaker 1: He just can't. he can't take the full accountability. He
- 29:23Speaker 1: just says it was only a couple of seconds.
- 29:26Speaker 2: It was just like, I stole $ 90, 000 from my grandmother,
- 29:30Speaker 2: but I could have stolen the whole $ 400, 000 that she
- 29:33Speaker 2: had in her bank account. She should be happy that
- 29:36Speaker 2: I didn't take it all.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I specifically asked Dr. Ish and Justine and Michael about
- 29:42Speaker 1: that statement when I talked to them because I said,
- 29:45Speaker 1: that was so upsetting to us. Like, that's a horrible
- 29:48Speaker 1: thing to say. And Dr. Ish goes, that's an addict brain, right?
- 29:52Speaker 1: It's an addict brain. You're making excuses for it could
- 29:55Speaker 1: have been worse. And so I think Dr. Ish is
- 29:58Speaker 1: saying like, he's still in that addict brain. He's not better.
- 30:01Speaker 1: You know, if he ever will not be. So in
- 30:05Speaker 1: the kitchen, Louie is talking about with Michael lighting toilet
- 30:12Speaker 1: paper on fire and using the bunk as a cooktop.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 30:15Speaker 1: So you guys, you, if you're on the $ 10 level
- 30:19Speaker 1: of pink shade prime, we do a live every month.
- 30:22Speaker 1: So we did it last week. You could join now
- 30:24Speaker 1: and you could go and watch it, but we, Came
- 30:26Speaker 1: up with an entirely great idea called The Great Prison
- 30:31Speaker 1: Bake Off because Kimberly on her show, they do a
- 30:33Speaker 1: side show called A Date with the Bake where they
- 30:35Speaker 1: cover the Great British Bake Off. But I think now
- 30:37Speaker 1: it's called The Great British Baking Show, whatever. I watch
- 30:40Speaker 1: it in the dentist's office. It's very enjoyable. But I
- 30:44Speaker 1: really think because we've seen so many of these guys, Keisha,
- 30:48Speaker 1: come out with these amazing recipes. They really come out
- 30:52Speaker 1: learning how to use what's there to cook. Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And you know me and my greedy ass. Yeah. I'm
- 31:00Speaker 2: taking notes the whole time. I was like, so roll
- 31:02Speaker 2: of toilet paper, summer sausage, honey bun. However, I would
- 31:08Speaker 2: have warmed the honey bun up. Yeah. Then put the
- 31:11Speaker 2: summer sausage in there and eaten it.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Well, it sounds to me.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:15Speaker 1: So Joey says that a lot of people would scrape
- 31:18Speaker 1: the paint off the bottom of the bunk and then
- 31:21Speaker 1: put the toilet paper that they light on fire underneath
- 31:24Speaker 1: it to make a cooktop.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That's thinking. Cook the summer sausage.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Now, I would assume they would warm the honey bun
- 31:34Speaker 1: and like cut it in half.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I hope they did.
- 31:35Speaker 1: And then roll it up because that did sound good.
- 31:37Speaker 2: That sounded really fucking good. Like, I feel like if
- 31:41Speaker 2: I wasn't on this weight loss journey right now, you
- 31:43Speaker 2: know what? My next cheat day, that is what I'm
- 31:46Speaker 2: going to have.
- 31:46Speaker 1: All right.
- 31:47Speaker 2: That sounds really good.
- 31:48Speaker 1: We know that James listens, James. Next time you go
- 31:50Speaker 1: to the store, honey buns, summer sausage.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Maybe a little bit of cheese.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It sounded like a sweet and a savory.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Maybe a little bit of red pepper, crushed red pepper
- 32:01Speaker 2: on top.
- 32:02Speaker 1: No, you went too far because it's too spicy for me.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you and your stomach.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It's too spicy for me.
- 32:08Speaker 2: So delicate stomach over there.
- 32:10Speaker 1: But it's very interesting that, and the women could have
- 32:13Speaker 1: a whole entire like makeover show of like, just give
- 32:17Speaker 1: them some things that you have from prison and they
- 32:19Speaker 1: could do a whole face. Okay, wait. Well, I mean,
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's not going to be good, but
- 32:26Speaker 1: they can do a whole face of makeup.
- 32:28Speaker 2: They can barely do a whole face of makeup with
- 32:31Speaker 2: what they've got. Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 1: But they make the eyeliner with the coffee and they, and.
- 32:37Speaker 2: They look like they're using now on the outside world.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Well, okay. All right. Scratch that show idea.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Totally back to wrong group of women. Okay. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 32:46Speaker 1: We're going to go to our great prison bake-off idea.
- 32:50Speaker 1: And I just think, You give these guys each their
- 32:53Speaker 1: own cooking station with the items that they could have
- 32:57Speaker 1: bought in prison in the commissary. They are, they will
- 33:01Speaker 1: be able to trade. Like you've got two ramen. I
- 33:04Speaker 1: need three Jolly Ranchers for the coloring.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Everything is going to have ramen included in it. Yes.
- 33:08Speaker 1: And they can trade and then they can show their
- 33:11Speaker 1: best recipe. And then whoever wins, wins a thousand dollars.
- 33:17Speaker 2: And unlike in prison, they don't have to show their
- 33:19Speaker 2: booty holes for any of the ingredients.
- 33:21Speaker 1: No, no, no blowjobs will have to be exchanged.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Nothing like that. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. No circle jerks,
- 33:27Speaker 2: no nothing.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Listen, Matt Sharp, TLC, WeTV, call us. Okay.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Look, we give them ideas all the fucking time.
- 33:34Speaker 1: This is a good one, though.
- 33:35Speaker 2: They have yet to call us for our own show.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I don't know what the problem is.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I'm saying that you and Kimberly and I can be
- 33:41Speaker 1: the hosts because they have the host of the show.
- 33:43Speaker 1: And then they have somebody that's the taster. And then
- 33:46Speaker 1: they have somebody that walks around as the host.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 33:49Speaker 1: There's three of us right here. Let's go.
- 33:52Speaker 2: We're ready.
- 33:53Speaker 1: We're ready. Okay. Now, so they're talking about all these things.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And Michael says, you know, I think it's kind of amazing. Like,
- 34:01Speaker 1: I didn't know Louie. He was completely across the country
- 34:03Speaker 1: in a different prison. But we're all kind of doing
- 34:06Speaker 1: the same things.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Because you all have the same commissary. Right. I don't
- 34:10Speaker 2: think it differs from prison to prison. Every prison has ramen.
- 34:14Speaker 1: But you got to think like, how did like this guy,
- 34:16Speaker 1: maybe he was in a prison in Connecticut and then
- 34:18Speaker 1: he got in trouble. It was a prison in Florida.
- 34:19Speaker 1: He's like, let me show you something I learned in Connecticut.
- 34:21Speaker 1: And they just pass it around.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I just think they have a lot of time in
- 34:25Speaker 2: their hands. Okay. All right. Yeah. Okay.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Now in this talking head. Oh my God. Kimberly looks
- 34:32Speaker 1: like she's been beat about the face and crying for
- 34:34Speaker 1: three hours. She looks horrible in this talking head. It
- 34:36Speaker 1: was really sad. And she says, I don't know how
- 34:41Speaker 1: I feel. I'm usually a glass half full kind of
- 34:43Speaker 1: a person. But finding out I could have lost my kids,
- 34:48Speaker 1: put this in perspective. Like, how was I so blinded
- 34:52Speaker 1: that I could not see what he was doing? How
- 34:54Speaker 1: could I have trusted him? And this is, it's hard.
- 34:57Speaker 1: She does need to really work through this. And I mean,
- 35:00Speaker 1: we all hope on the other end of it, she's
- 35:02Speaker 1: going to come to, I am better off alone. That's
- 35:05Speaker 1: what I'm hoping.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I don't think she's there yet.
- 35:08Speaker 1: So now they're all sitting at dinner and Dr. Ish
- 35:11Speaker 1: comes in and says like, all right, you know, everybody
- 35:14Speaker 1: enjoy your dinner and everybody, you know, the ladies need
- 35:17Speaker 1: to show Kimberly a lot of love tonight. She really
- 35:19Speaker 1: needs your support. And then he pulls Louie off to
- 35:23Speaker 1: the side and says, you know, Joey's going to need
- 35:25Speaker 1: a lot of support from you and you can really
- 35:27Speaker 1: understand what he's been through. So could you kind of
- 35:29Speaker 1: try to lift him up, you know, kind of give
- 35:32Speaker 1: him a pep talk. So he says, yeah. So I
- 35:35Speaker 1: can have Louie goes, you know, I know Joey has
- 35:37Speaker 1: issues with addiction and I would love to be able
- 35:39Speaker 1: to help him. But the most important thing he's got
- 35:42Speaker 1: to understand that he has to get sober for himself,
- 35:45Speaker 1: not for other people. Like he can't do it for Kimberly.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Can't do it for his mom. He can't do it
- 35:48Speaker 1: for the kids. He's got for his grandma that he
- 35:50Speaker 1: stole the money from. He's got to do it for himself.
- 35:54Speaker 1: So Louie pulls Joey out and tries to talk to
- 35:57Speaker 1: him and he goes, I just want to tell you, man,
- 35:59Speaker 1: like I'm proud of you for being honest. You know,
- 36:01Speaker 1: I've been there. I know you're scared. It's okay to
- 36:05Speaker 1: be scared. And Joey goes, I didn't have to tell her.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I didn't have to say that today, but I did.
- 36:11Speaker 2: It's on repeat. It is on repeat.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And Louie goes, that's right. That's right. You chose to
- 36:18Speaker 1: be honest. That's good. But you have to keep it
- 36:20Speaker 1: real with yourself. And Joey goes, well, that's why I
- 36:24Speaker 1: keep thinking maybe it's just best to leave her. Like
- 36:27Speaker 1: they would be better off without me.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:31Speaker 1: They would.
- 36:31Speaker 2: They would. But then he would be homeless because his
- 36:35Speaker 2: mom's not going to take him in. And Lord knows
- 36:36Speaker 2: his grandmother's waiting on her $ 90, 000 to be returned. She
- 36:40Speaker 2: ain't letting him come live with her.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I think this is manipulation on Joey's part.
- 36:43Speaker 2: It is.
- 36:44Speaker 1: He's trying to be like, well, I guess I'll just leave.
- 36:46Speaker 2: It's exactly what it is. Yes.
- 36:49Speaker 1: And Louie goes, well, what do you think? What do
- 36:51Speaker 1: you think?
- 36:53Speaker 2: Well, that's where Louie went wrong.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Well, and he goes, listen, man, before you can have
- 37:00Speaker 1: a normal relationship or a relationship with any other person,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you know, romantic or just any kind of relationship, you
- 37:06Speaker 1: got to get yourself right. You got to get a
- 37:09Speaker 1: hold of yourself mentally. And all of these drugs for
- 37:13Speaker 1: all of these years, your mind is so fucking clouded.
- 37:17Speaker 1: And you don't make the decisions that you would make
- 37:21Speaker 1: as a sober person. I mean, Louie is like giving
- 37:23Speaker 1: it to him straight. Louie has had all the treatment,
- 37:27Speaker 1: all the meetings.
- 37:31Speaker 2: He could literally be like a drug counselor.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I hope that he does do that.
- 37:36Speaker 2: He's so good. He really is.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Because your decisions are just so clouded and you're not,
- 37:41Speaker 1: you know, Literally.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I think he does have holes in his brain.
- 37:48Speaker 1: All those years.
- 37:49Speaker 2: So long. Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 1: So I was talking to Joey goes, my fear is
- 37:53Speaker 1: if I lost Kimberly, I would fall back into my
- 37:57Speaker 1: old habits. And it's again, it's manipulation. It's if you
- 38:01Speaker 1: don't keep me around, then I won't be sober and
- 38:02Speaker 1: it'll be your fault.
- 38:03Speaker 2: You know?
- 38:04Speaker 1: And he says, I understand where Louie is coming from.
- 38:07Speaker 1: And Louie really gives me hope that one day I
- 38:09Speaker 1: can be completely sober. Now, I'm sure we all clocked
- 38:13Speaker 1: the completely sober, meaning he's not completely sober.
- 38:18Speaker 2: He was more interested in that Pepsi he was drinking
- 38:20Speaker 2: than what Louie was saying.
- 38:24Speaker 1: And Louie says, we got you, bro. Like, we're all
- 38:26Speaker 1: here for you. Like, I'm here to talk anytime you want.
- 38:29Speaker 1: So I was talking to Louie. He goes, I don't
- 38:31Speaker 1: know if I helped him. You know, I really want
- 38:34Speaker 1: to help him more, but. He needs real help. I
- 38:37Speaker 1: think he means like he needs an inpatient facility and
- 38:40Speaker 1: then like an inpatient for a year and an outpatient
- 38:43Speaker 1: for a year.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yes, he does.
- 38:46Speaker 1: So back in their room, they're getting ready for bed,
- 38:50Speaker 1: Joey and Kimberly. And he goes, you don't want to
- 38:53Speaker 1: be with me. You done made your mind up. I
- 38:55Speaker 1: see it in your eyes. Don't worry about it. Just
- 38:57Speaker 1: don't worry about it. I'll go. Just don't worry about it.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And she goes, go where?
- 39:00Speaker 2: I mean, Where would he go?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Go over to sleep in the other bed in Marcelino's room.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah. And once you got home, where would you go?
- 39:10Speaker 2: Where would he go?
- 39:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:12Speaker 2: No way.
- 39:13Speaker 1: She says, what you see in my eyes is hurt
- 39:15Speaker 1: and betrayal. That's what you see. So we don't get
- 39:18Speaker 1: any more of that. But the next day, Kimberly and
- 39:21Speaker 1: Joey are FaceTiming the boys. Hey, happy family. What's going on?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Mom's here. Joey's here. How's it going? Like, I was like.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Weird. Weird.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I wouldn't even let.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Them talk to my kids. I would either. You don't
- 39:32Speaker 2: need to talk to them.
- 39:34Speaker 1: So, he says, oh, today we're getting along better. We
- 39:38Speaker 1: had some conversations last night. We're about to go and
- 39:40Speaker 1: do some interviews. So, then we get a black screen
- 39:43Speaker 1: of death with some funky music. Today is interview day
- 39:47Speaker 1: for the couples. Like, okay. Okay. Okay. So the talking
- 39:52Speaker 1: head together, the producer asked Joey, do you regret telling her?
- 39:57Speaker 1: And he goes, no, because I don't lie no more.
- 40:01Speaker 1: And she goes, well, you've lied for two years. And
- 40:05Speaker 1: he goes, I'm sorry. I want to keep going. I
- 40:08Speaker 1: want to keep learning. And she goes, yeah, I want
- 40:10Speaker 1: to stay here because this is very literally our last shot.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I think she says that every single time he does.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Until season two when we see him again. So then
- 40:21Speaker 1: it's the morning and Joey comes in the kitchen and
- 40:23Speaker 1: he's talking to everybody in the kitchen and he goes, well,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I got to tell, I got all up in that
- 40:29Speaker 1: last night.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Gross. Ew.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Why'd you say it like that?
- 40:33Speaker 2: Well, why did he say it at all?
- 40:35Speaker 1: Why did he tell them at all?
- 40:37Speaker 2: I don't know. Like, cause she's, she's basically, she's not
- 40:41Speaker 2: that mad at me. Because I love her all night long.
- 40:45Speaker 1: And I guess he's trying to be like, I do
- 40:46Speaker 1: bang my woman. I am real manly.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. We would have never known about
- 40:51Speaker 2: that had he not told us they weren't having sex. Right. Right.
- 40:56Speaker 2: He's such a child.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's been five months. So, yeah, I could tell she
- 40:59Speaker 1: wanted it. Yeah. And so I just said, hey, it
- 41:02Speaker 1: felt good. Like, why did I wait for so long?
- 41:04Speaker 1: Everybody's clapping. They don't know what else to do. That's
- 41:06Speaker 1: so weird.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Awkward.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Awkward.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Awkward.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Y'all, let's talk about perimenopause, okay? I can remember exactly
- 41:15Speaker 1: when I realized I was entering perimenopause. I looked at
- 41:18Speaker 1: another mom at my son's back-to-school night and goes, whew,
- 41:21Speaker 1: it's hot in here, right? And she just said, no,
- 41:23Speaker 1: it's 40 degrees outside. But after that, I just started
- 41:26Speaker 1: noticing more and more symptoms. For me, not only was
- 41:30Speaker 1: I just hot all the time for no reason, but
- 41:33Speaker 1: I did not feel like myself. I was so exhausted
- 41:35Speaker 1: all the time. I was not sleeping well. And let's
- 41:38Speaker 1: don't even talk about the mood, okay? My husband called
- 41:41Speaker 1: me Bad Mood Betty. That is a true story. But

- 43:16Speaker 1: so complicated and overpriced? I'm just trying to buy some glasses,
- 43:20Speaker 1: not feel like I need to break out one of
- 43:21Speaker 1: my spreadsheets to understand what's going on. Don't get me
- 43:25Speaker 1: started on how hard it is to find something you
- 43:28Speaker 1: actually like and fits your face and you feel confident,
- 43:31Speaker 1: you know, when you leave your house. Like, How can
- 43:33Speaker 1: you tell if they're going to look good on you
- 43:34Speaker 1: from just a tiny, tiny picture? This is why I'm
- 43:37Speaker 1: obsessed with Warby Parker. Seriously, nothing comes close on quality, price, selection,
- 43:44Speaker 1: and they have amazing customer service. Once you buy from
- 43:47Speaker 1: Warby Parker, you realize how much easier they've made the

- 44:05Speaker 1: point your camera and boom, you can see a lot
- 44:07Speaker 1: of different frames on your face in real time. I mean,
- 44:10Speaker 1: so many times I think this will look so good
- 44:12Speaker 1: on me, but then the virtual try on will knock
- 44:15Speaker 1: me down a peg and make me realize right away, okay,
- 44:17Speaker 1: that does not look good on you, but this one does.
- 44:21Speaker 1: And that, you know, prescription frames, they start at $ 95.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So it's a win-win. So my latest glasses that I
- 44:26Speaker 1: got from Warby Parker are Progressive's. which is a new
- 44:29Speaker 1: thing for me. I didn't even realize how much I
- 44:31Speaker 1: would love it. They are the hues style and the
- 44:34Speaker 1: marzipan tortoise color. They make me feel cute on the
- 44:38Speaker 1: days where I just don't want to wear my contacts.
- 44:40Speaker 1: But speaking of contact lenses, Warby Parker also has contact lenses,
- 44:44Speaker 1: online eye exams, and sunglasses. It's all in one place,

- 45:24Speaker 1: you get them. So, Kimberly walks in. They're all like, woo, woo.
- 45:31Speaker 1: And she's like, what? She's like, oh, my God. Why'd
- 45:34Speaker 1: you tell everybody?
- 45:35Speaker 2: I would be so embarrassed.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Me too.
- 45:37Speaker 2: That he just told this whole group of people that,
- 45:41Speaker 2: I don't know, her kids were almost unalived. Uh-huh. Being
- 45:46Speaker 2: with him. And then you go back to the room
- 45:48Speaker 2: and fuck them? Yeah. Mm-mm. There's something wrong with the
- 45:52Speaker 2: both of them.
- 45:53Speaker 1: And she goes, she goes, I know it's crazy. He
- 45:56Speaker 1: tells me all that shit and that I had sex
- 45:57Speaker 1: with them. I'm just toxic as fuck. And she kind
- 46:00Speaker 1: of laughs. And Dr. Ish comes in and Joey's like,
- 46:03Speaker 1: guess what? We banged last night.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Dr.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Ish is like, okay, everybody enjoy your eggs. Joey, can
- 46:09Speaker 1: I talk to you outside?
- 46:10Speaker 2: Right.
- 46:13Speaker 1: And everybody's joking and in a good mood this morning.
- 46:15Speaker 1: And maybe it's because yesterday they didn't have any like
- 46:17Speaker 1: hardcore therapy after that, you know, that one thing. Um,
- 46:22Speaker 1: and so Dr. Ish says, all right, Joe, you see
- 46:25Speaker 1: this sheet that you signed. It says full participation, no alcohol,
- 46:29Speaker 1: no drugs. So I didn't realize they were, I mean,
- 46:32Speaker 1: it makes sense that they're not allowed to have alcohol,
- 46:34Speaker 1: but yeah, I thought at night they would be able
- 46:36Speaker 1: to have a drink, but I guess why would I
- 46:37Speaker 1: think that? I mean, they can't do that.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Because Brittany was an alcoholic. Right.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah. No, they can't do that. So, um, uh, Dr.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Ish says, so here's where we are. I'm always watching.
- 46:52Speaker 1: We're always watching. There are cameras everywhere.
- 46:54Speaker 2: So he saw them fucking?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Well, this is the question, is that if they're getting intimate,
- 47:00Speaker 1: do they turn the cameras off? There's definitely no cameras
- 47:03Speaker 1: in the bathroom, like where they're pooping and showering.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's just generally the rule on these shows.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Like right now on Hunt for Love, which you'll see
- 47:11Speaker 1: when you start watching it, they always have the cameras
- 47:13Speaker 1: in the corner of the room. So we do see
- 47:15Speaker 1: them fucking on Hunt for Love. They fully show it.
- 47:18Speaker 2: So someone saw them fucking because there's always going to
- 47:20Speaker 2: be that one person who's not going to turn the
- 47:21Speaker 2: camera off.
- 47:22Speaker 1: They're going to watch. Ew. So he says.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Naked. Gross.
- 47:32Speaker 1: So he goes, walk me through the rolling up the
- 47:34Speaker 1: dollar bill action. And he goes, huh? What?
- 47:39Speaker 2: What?
- 47:40Speaker 1: Huh? And he goes, when Kimberly was in the shower,
- 47:43Speaker 1: you rolled up a dollar bill. And what did you
- 47:46Speaker 1: do with it? And Dr. Ish then looks at his eyes,
- 47:50Speaker 1: you know, and goes, what did you do with it?
- 47:52Speaker 1: And he goes, I snorted it. He goes, you know,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I'm an addict. My body tells me I need it.
- 47:59Speaker 1: And he goes, what did you snort? And he says,
- 48:01Speaker 1: his Xanax. Now, we go through a lot of, like,
- 48:05Speaker 1: commercials and then trying to draw this out. But he
- 48:08Speaker 1: snorted his Xanax, which he's prescribed. Why the fuck is
- 48:11Speaker 1: this guy prescribed Xanax? Xanax is so highly addictive.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And he's fucking dazed out enough as is.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I understand he probably has anxiety about being there. He
- 48:24Speaker 1: probably lives with just generalized anxiety. Drug-induced anxiety. And drug-induced
- 48:30Speaker 1: anxiety and blah, blah, blah. That's fine. But why? Now,
- 48:34Speaker 1: I understand that they're in the safe because Dr. Isch
- 48:36Speaker 1: says we're going to put these back in the safe.
- 48:38Speaker 1: So they are having them come and get their medications.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Right. Okay.
- 48:41Speaker 1: He doesn't just have free reign. But I guess he
- 48:44Speaker 1: went and got his Xanax and brought it back to
- 48:46Speaker 1: the room, crushed it up, and then snorted it with
- 48:49Speaker 1: a rolled up dollar bill instead of just taking it.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Taking it like a normal person.
- 48:54Speaker 1: So they do the pee test. And the talking head, Joey, goes,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I've never been able to say I'm really, really clean
- 49:03Speaker 1: and that I don't seek it out because addicts fall
- 49:06Speaker 1: into old habits, and that's why I did that. So
- 49:09Speaker 1: we see the pee test.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Okay. Mm-hmm.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Kimberly gets called in with Dr. Ish. And Dr. Ish says,
- 49:14Speaker 1: this morning, Joey snorted some stuff with a rolled up
- 49:17Speaker 1: dollar bill. I was afraid it was me. meth or coke,
- 49:21Speaker 1: but it's not. It is Xanax that he's prescribed. And
- 49:25Speaker 1: the manner in which he used it is what concerned
- 49:28Speaker 1: me because that's addict behavior and he did it behind
- 49:30Speaker 1: your back. So it's just an addict behavior to be
- 49:33Speaker 1: like hiding it or let me do it with a
- 49:37Speaker 1: rolled up dollar bill. I mean, he could do like
- 49:40Speaker 1: a rolled up dollar bill and snort up some Advil
- 49:43Speaker 1: just because he's like, this is the way I'm used
- 49:45Speaker 1: to doing it. And it makes me feel still. It's
- 49:48Speaker 1: sort of like people that drink non-alcoholic beer to feel
- 49:52Speaker 1: like they're drinking a beer. Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah. That's scary.
- 49:56Speaker 1: It's scary. So he goes, so Dr. Ish goes, he
- 49:59Speaker 1: did it behind your back and he snorted it with
- 50:02Speaker 1: the dollar bill. And Joey goes, it was a quickness thing.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It could get to me faster. And Kimberly just sort
- 50:13Speaker 1: of looks around like, what?
- 50:15Speaker 2: And Dr.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Ish goes, yeah, it goes faster. You could hit your
- 50:17Speaker 1: system like three minutes instead of 30.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:20Speaker 1: And Kimberly goes, so I'm supposed to be patient with
- 50:23Speaker 1: him and his feelings, but he can't wait 45 minutes
- 50:27Speaker 1: for a drug to kick in. So how is that fair?
- 50:31Speaker 2: How is she still surprised by anything that he does
- 50:34Speaker 2: that's stupid?
- 50:35Speaker 1: She acts like she's never heard of anybody like rolling
- 50:38Speaker 1: up a dollar bill and snorting something. She acts like this.
- 50:40Speaker 2: She acts like she's shocked at everything that he does.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Like it's the first time that he has done it. Yes.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I don't get it. She acts like she, when he
- 50:48Speaker 1: was like, she, he rolled up the dollar bill and snorted.
- 50:50Speaker 1: She's like, what? Why? It's like, like, it's like, she's Amish. Like,
- 50:53Speaker 1: she's like, what? I've never heard of people snorting a drug.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Yeah. He does it all the time.
- 51:00Speaker 1: So Dr. Ish says, It's very easy for you, Kimberly,
- 51:04Speaker 1: to think that you need to fix his drug problem.
- 51:07Speaker 1: This is not your problem to fix. You can support him.
- 51:11Speaker 1: And Joey goes, yeah, support. And he goes, I love you.
- 51:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry. And so he gets dismissed. And she says
- 51:23Speaker 1: to Dr. Ish, before we came here, you know what
- 51:26Speaker 1: he said? He said he just couldn't wait for us
- 51:28Speaker 1: to get in this therapy and so that I could
- 51:31Speaker 1: get told everything I'm doing wrong. And she goes, but
- 51:35Speaker 1: I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong other
- 51:38Speaker 1: than being codependent and dealing with this shit. Well, yeah,
- 51:42Speaker 1: that's what you're doing wrong is you're allowing him to
- 51:45Speaker 1: manipulate you and walk all over you. And, um, Dr.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Children in danger.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Yes, that too. And Dr. Ish goes, well, you care,
- 51:53Speaker 1: take him. And a lot of that is enabling and
- 51:57Speaker 1: And as a codependent person, part of that dynamic is
- 52:01Speaker 1: that you love to have a job to do and
- 52:03Speaker 1: you love to have something to work on.
- 52:05Speaker 2: As if going to work every day and basically raising
- 52:08Speaker 2: two children on your own isn't enough. Yeah.
- 52:11Speaker 1: And I have to tell you that that's interesting because
- 52:14Speaker 1: I had to really, when Dave, my husband, got back
- 52:17Speaker 1: from rehab, you know, 14 years ago now, I had
- 52:22Speaker 1: to work on that myself because I was so used
- 52:24Speaker 1: to doing everything for every single person that If there
- 52:28Speaker 1: was like, oh, hey, we got an email from the
- 52:32Speaker 1: power company. Like, we need to switch our credit card
- 52:34Speaker 1: because it's expired. There was not ever any question who
- 52:37Speaker 1: was going to do it. Like, there was just absolutely
- 52:40Speaker 1: nothing that he did. And I allowed that. And he
- 52:45Speaker 1: right away would be like, I was like, oh, we got,
- 52:46Speaker 1: you know, while you were gone, we got this new
- 52:48Speaker 1: like remote for the TV. And I was like, let
- 52:50Speaker 1: me show you. He's like, I can figure out how
- 52:51Speaker 1: to work it myself. But it was me wanting to
- 52:53Speaker 1: show him how to do it. I'm a grown up.
- 52:56Speaker 1: that can figure out a remote control by myself. Do
- 52:59Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Joey can't do that.
- 53:02Speaker 2: He can't even figure out how to swallow a fucking
- 53:04Speaker 2: Xanax properly. I mean, he's got to snort it.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I just say I really get this, but when she
- 53:10Speaker 1: is dealing with somebody who started doing drugs and has
- 53:13Speaker 1: been in prison really young, so he really is like
- 53:18Speaker 1: having a teenager where you do have to show them, oh,
- 53:20Speaker 1: to pay a bill online, here's how you do it,
- 53:22Speaker 1: because he just really doesn't know anything.
- 53:25Speaker 2: And I wouldn't trust him with a debit card or
- 53:27Speaker 2: a credit card.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Oh, well, hell no. We see what he did with
- 53:29Speaker 1: that last time. He went and bought some rims.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Remember? Yes.
- 53:33Speaker 1: For like his Nissan Rogue, he went and bought some
- 53:35Speaker 1: like $ 10, 000 rims.
- 53:37Speaker 2: On her teacher assistant pay. Yeah. Right.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Like that was important. Yeah. So Dr. Ish says you
- 53:47Speaker 1: like to have a job to do with somebody to
- 53:50Speaker 1: work on. Like you're good with trying to fix him, right?
- 53:54Speaker 1: She says, I'm very codependent and I know that's what
- 53:56Speaker 1: I need to work on. You know, she goes, but
- 53:58Speaker 1: I know that I'm not the problem in this relationship.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I have problems and they're the reason that I deal
- 54:05Speaker 1: with this shit because of whatever problems I've got. And Dr.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Ish goes, you're both the problem. Healthy people are not
- 54:13Speaker 1: attracted to unhealthy people. Interesting, right?
- 54:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 54:22Speaker 1: It's like, I think I said to Dave one time
- 54:25Speaker 1: about like, you know, like when you go to an
- 54:28Speaker 1: AA meeting or when you go to, when you went
- 54:29Speaker 1: to treatment or whatever, like maybe you'll find a girlfriend there.
- 54:32Speaker 1: He's like, you don't go searching for a car in
- 54:34Speaker 1: the junkyard.
- 54:34Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 1: He's like, nobody's searching for a car in the junkyard
- 54:39Speaker 1: looking for me either. You know?
- 54:42Speaker 2: Wow. That's very true.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Healthy people are not attracted to unhealthy people. So another
- 54:48Speaker 1: word of wisdom from Dr.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Ish.
- 54:50Speaker 1: She says- She says, I don't even know myself. I
- 54:55Speaker 1: don't even know myself anymore. And Dr. Is says, I
- 54:57Speaker 1: want you to wake up in the morning and make
- 55:01Speaker 1: peace with that person you see in the mirror. So
- 55:05Speaker 1: Louie goes in to talk to the group and he says, no, no, no. Sorry. Sorry, Joey.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Joey goes back in to talk to the group and
- 55:13Speaker 1: he goes, well, the good thing is I did a med.
- 55:17Speaker 1: They did a med check on me this morning. And
- 55:19Speaker 1: everybody's like, and he goes, and I passed. Except for
- 55:22Speaker 1: snorting the Xanax. Faster delivery. And they're all just looking
- 55:26Speaker 1: at him like, dude, like, what the fuck, man?
- 55:29Speaker 2: I mean, poor Joey. I mean, Louie's just like, oh, no, no.
- 55:35Speaker 1: So, in the talking head, Louie goes, it really sucks
- 55:38Speaker 1: because Kimberly's trust is always being broken. They go one
- 55:42Speaker 1: step ahead and 20 steps back. You know, she just.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Every single time.
- 55:47Speaker 1: For years.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. So... Dr.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Ish comes in and is like, okay, so we're going
- 55:54Speaker 1: to talk about our plan for today. This is what
- 55:57Speaker 1: rehab looks like, right? We got some good days. We
- 55:59Speaker 1: got some bad days because they're relationship rehab. Joey had
- 56:03Speaker 1: an issue this morning. He crushed up his Xanax and
- 56:05Speaker 1: snorted it. And I don't like it. It scares me. Okay.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Everybody's like, okay.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:13Speaker 1: So they're all sort of like joking about Dr. Ish going, mm-hmm. So,
- 56:19Speaker 1: because they're like, so guys, we're going to have a
- 56:21Speaker 1: great time. Everybody have a seat. And they're like, we're
- 56:23Speaker 1: waiting for the so. And he's like, anyway, so let
- 56:26Speaker 1: me ask the guys in the group. Julius and Michael,
- 56:32Speaker 1: you have been on the other side of this. So
- 56:35Speaker 1: what is it like seeing this fallout? Keisha, never in
- 56:39Speaker 1: the history of this show that we've been watching for
- 56:41Speaker 1: six years, Has anyone ever asked these drug dealers the question,
- 56:46Speaker 1: how do you feel about your victims?
- 56:49Speaker 2: And I think they were very happy that no one
- 56:51Speaker 2: had asked them that question before because they don't want
- 56:54Speaker 2: to think about that shit.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You're right.
- 56:56Speaker 2: I can already feel Michael crying right now. I can
- 56:59Speaker 2: feel him crying about it.
- 57:00Speaker 1: He's already crying. He just said Julius and Michael and
- 57:04Speaker 1: Michael started crying, started crying.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Julius is trying to catch a thought. He's always trying to,
- 57:09Speaker 2: Catch a thought because he only understands every third word
- 57:12Speaker 2: of a sentence.
- 57:12Speaker 1: He's a little slow on the uptake, but he's processing.
- 57:16Speaker 2: He's processing at a slow speed, but he is processing.
- 57:18Speaker 1: So I'm glad Michael talked first.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Yes. Gave him some time to catch up.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Michael cries and he says, before, you know, hanging out
- 57:26Speaker 1: with Louie and Joey, but I mean, Brittany, you know, too.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He says, I saw a lot of addicts, you know,
- 57:35Speaker 1: in prison.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 57:36Speaker 1: And I had to go and do a group thing.
- 57:38Speaker 1: It was mandatory for me to do this group before
- 57:41Speaker 1: I completed parole. And so every time I went in
- 57:45Speaker 1: and heard these stories, it chipped away at me. Good.
- 57:50Speaker 1: And he says, and I was an addict in a way.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I wanted to see the drugs get chopped and bagged.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I had employees, but I always wanted to be in
- 57:58Speaker 1: the trap house. I wanted to see it. I wanted
- 58:01Speaker 1: to see the process. I got high watching it go
- 58:04Speaker 1: out and the money come in.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's honest.
- 58:10Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, it is. Yeah. That was his high.
- 58:13Speaker 1: And he comes from nothing. He comes from abuse and
- 58:16Speaker 1: poverty and people.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Can't even have a protein with his meal.
- 58:21Speaker 1: No.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Rice and ketchup.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Having no food and saying like, I'm going to watch
- 58:25Speaker 1: this money go out and come in. Like I get it.
- 58:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:29Speaker 1: But he didn't think about the people.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Right. Of course you don't. It's all about the money. So,
- 58:36Speaker 2: so what, how you get it long as I'm getting
- 58:38Speaker 2: this right here, she doesn't think about the lives that
- 58:41Speaker 2: he's ruined. I mean, there's whole families that he has ruined,
- 58:45Speaker 2: you know? So he needs to sit with this.
- 58:49Speaker 1: So the talking head, Michael says, the fact that Joey
- 58:52Speaker 1: is an addict really affects me. You know, I never
- 58:55Speaker 1: gave him anything of course, but the people I was
- 58:57Speaker 1: giving it to were just like him. And there's so
- 59:01Speaker 1: many Joey's out there. And Justine goes, and you created
- 59:05Speaker 1: some Joey's too.
- 59:06Speaker 2: A lot. Here's the thing. He will forever have to
- 59:15Speaker 2: remember that.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Because people say all the time, you guys give Michael
- 59:19Speaker 1: and Justine a break. You never talk about him being
- 59:21Speaker 1: a fentanyl dealer. And I was like, it has a
- 59:23Speaker 1: guy brought up on the show.
- 59:24Speaker 2: They don't. They really focus on everything except for that.
- 59:29Speaker 2: It's just like, yeah, he was in prison for dealing drugs,
- 59:32Speaker 2: but no details, nothing like that at all.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I'm just really, I'm just glad that they're talking about this.
- 59:36Speaker 1: So Michael says, meanwhile, you know, I've been, I was
- 59:41Speaker 1: out there with nice cars and shit. I was, you know,
- 59:43Speaker 1: bettering my life, but I was destroying others.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Yep.
- 59:48Speaker 1: So to the group, Michael says, this is something that
- 59:51Speaker 1: I have to live with that I've done. And it's
- 59:52Speaker 1: really hard. I don't know how many families I destroyed.
- 59:56Speaker 1: And how many kids are out there saying my dad
- 59:58Speaker 1: is hooked on this shit and I'm the cause.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: He says, that's something I have to live with every day.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: And it's really hard.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: So I was like, I mean, it's gotta be tough.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: He's not dealing with it. No, because here's the thing.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Do you think after this show wraps up that Michael
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: really is going to go to therapy? Yes.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I think he's going to be better. I'm telling you,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: when I interviewed them, he started bawling, crying.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: He hasn't stopped crying. He is a menopausal woman right now.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: All he does is cry. Totally.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: So Dr. Ish asked Julius what he thinks.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: He's caught up. He's caught up. He's heard Michael's answer.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: So he's able to kind of, you know, piece together
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: his own answer. Not going to be much.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Bless him.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: But it's something.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: He says, yeah, you know, you definitely feel guilty about
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: doing it, but I had to get the money. that
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: was my drug at the time, getting the money. And
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: looking back now, it is shameful and I feel regret
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: for it.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Now, I will say this. There is a huge difference
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: between the levels of drug dealing that Michael and Julius
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: was at. I think Julius was like the block boy,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: you know, canning out weed and, you know, some pills
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: and stuff like that. But still, they were messing up
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: people's lives and Yes. Yes. Yes.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Two heads of the same snake. Just Julius.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Smaller head of that snake. So, um, and the talking
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to have Brittany says, listening to them, you know, they
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: have regret and guilt. And that was a very big
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: deal for me to hear because for years, I wondered
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: if these people cared that they did the things that
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they were doing. Um, and I've, you know, I never
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: realized it's not just the drug addict that suffers. It's everybody. So, um,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: we get some quick clips and we see Marcelino asleep
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: in a chair.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: People are, that's me right there. Ooh, I need a break.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: All is crying and talking about drugs and bugs and shit.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Let me just take a little nap. I, I felt
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Marcelino in that moment.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I loved it. Um, just, you know, Michael walk, they're
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: going to like some punching bags. We see the group,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Fuck that. She has the, these fucking little boo boos
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: on her feet.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: She just, she loves to get up again. She thought
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: she was going to like the Timu traders. She thought,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I'm going to Timu Traders. I'm going to hit it
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: with these outfits. But you're in the forest.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: No. Shit, it hits shit. Like, those things never need
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: to leave the house. Girl, come on.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: They can't be comfortable to be walking around in the woods.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You know they don't have any support.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: You know she's got to be a little bit hot.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I mean, oof.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: So everybody's kind of on a walk and, you know, whatever.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: And then we see Brittany talking to Justine and Kimberly
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: comes out. And Brittany is like, the other night, Marcelina
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: said he loved me. And I've been trying with this
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: man for two years, and now he's trying. And I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: don't want him to have false hope. I'm not in
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: love with him anymore. There's no romantic spark or passion.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: And it sort of breaks my heart because I think
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: maybe he has it. But I'm not coming out of
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: this experience in a relationship.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Now, you saw that they dismissed their divorce.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: No.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: No. It was dismissed because no one, like they had
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: a deadline to respond and no action. So the judge
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: dismissed it. So they're still married.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: So in the kitchen, everybody's talking to Joey and they're like, man,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: we're going to hold you accountable, man. And Louie goes, man,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I want you to know something with all this therapy
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: and everything. It's only going to get harder. Like you've
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: got to be strong. We don't know what they have
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: in store for us today. But you need to look
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: forward to it because it's going to help you. Right.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: And Julius is like, yo, man, I hope they aren't
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: doing too much.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: And Alexis goes, but maybe we should want them to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: do too much so we could go home and apply
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: these tools. And he's like.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He's like, I don't want to go home with you.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I don't know. He goes, listen, we're only at the
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: halfway mark. So they're on day four, I guess. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: he goes, and I'm feeling better than I did on
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: day one. But he goes, it's hard for me to
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: be around these people that I don't know every day.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: And she goes, you're doing great. You're talking more. You're
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: expressing yourself more. She goes, hey, today could be the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: day you could cry like Michael.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Oh, I have to tell you this. Yeah. So the
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: poor girl, and we may have something to do with it.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Oh, my what?
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Just how she's so dumpy looking. The man has worn
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: her out. Okay. Okay.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Let's don't say dumpy.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Maybe dumpy is not the right. Frumpy.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: How about let's just say he has sucked her soul out.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Sucked her soul out.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Right, right, right. There's a good way to have a
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: man suck your soul out. Yeah. And then there's a bad.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: She's on the bad.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: So she did a little before and after. Oh. Oh,
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: the comments didn't go in her favor. They were like, oh,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: you should have stuck with it before. I think she
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: needs a really good friend.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's mean. I don't like that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Well, her outfit was mean.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: She needs a really good friend who knows how to
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: dress for her shape. Yeah. She needs a friend like me.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Yes. To help her.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Maybe I should just send her a DM. Okay. And
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: be like, look.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Where do they live?
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I'm going to help you with your makeup. Your hair. Yeah.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Your clothes. Like, we're going to get this all the
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: way together.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Can you remember where they lived?
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. That's why they have planes and cars
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: She needs a meet.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: She needs a she-rope. She needs a key-rope is what
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: she needs.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I'm looking to see where they're from. It's just a
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: bunch of clips. Julius and Alexis, Love After Lockup. Where
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: are they from? Cincinnati, Ohio. Ohio. You could go to her.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You could go to her.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: I've never been to Ohio. You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Columbus is cool.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: She needs about a week and a half with me.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Oh, Cincinnati Zoo is where we went and saw all
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: those wonderful animals and got to walk around with the
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: kangaroos and stuff. You would love that zoo.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Well, you know, that's reason enough for me to go
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: right there. Yeah.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Amazing zoo.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Alexis needs a little Keisha in her life. Okay. Okay.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Make that happen. Charge it to me.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Just kidding.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Don't charge it to me.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: I was just about to say that. Don't charge it
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: to me.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: It's a work trip.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: So they go out for the group and Dr. Ish
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: is like, so, and they're like, oh shit.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: So Dr. Ish says, one by one, I'm going to
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: take each of you. We're going to walk to the barn.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I'm going to give you instructions, but it's a secret.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: You walk by yourself to the barn. First up, Justine.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: So he's like, so you're going to walk in this barn.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: You're going to take a minute to take it all
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: in because it's a lot. You're going to pick three items.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Don't spill the beans. Keep the secret. So she's like, okay.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: So she walks into this barn that seems like it's haunted.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: And we hear her saying, oh, God, this is too much.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: So while they're doing this, the rest of the group
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: is like, does he come up with this stuff on
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: his own? Or does he like get it from like
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: a book? Like where does he get these ideas? He's
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: doing a lot. Like what's in the barn? So what,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: what do you think is in the barn?
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: I have no idea. I don't know if it's like picture.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Maybe it's a picture of her ex. Something like something
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: that's going to be triggering for each person for each person.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. Next time on, we see Louie saying, why
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: do you want to rush someone who's not ready to
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: be married now? I feel like he's talking about her.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Because another clip, we see her saying, we're getting married
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: in two months. And he's like, you're not ready.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Kimberly says, I do worry my kids will grow up
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to be like you, Joey.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Not if you get rid of them.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I mean, he's not their dad.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: He's not their dad.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Julius, who for some reason has a napkin on his head.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Bans, napkins.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Unclear. Says, To Alexis, he says, just because you're faithful
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're ride or die. And she goes, what
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: else do I have to do to show you? And
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: then we see her in a talking head saying, you know,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: when he said that, my heart sank. And I wondered,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: what are we even doing here? We wonder the same thing.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: We wonder the same thing, girl.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: He walks off. She cries. Okay. Then we hear what
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: appears to be you know, a camera behind a wall and,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: you know, their secret recording. Brittany and Marcelino fighting and
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: him saying, get away from me. And her saying, why
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: don't you fucking care on the inside? And it sounds
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: like she's hitting somebody, Keisha.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Well, we know who's doing the hitting.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Surely she did not come this far with admitting... what
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: a horrible thing she did and does it again.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: She cannot keep putting her hands on this man.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I really think that this is a Matt Sharp fake
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: out and she probably just like threw her coat down
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: and they're making it because I really just, I feel
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: more for Brittany. I feel that she has evolved more.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: So I'm going to, I'm going to, I.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Hope so because she just cannot keep hitting him and
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: he continues to just.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Let her do it. I think it's a fake out.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I'm going with a fake out.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Well, let's hope. Let's hope. Dr.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Ish tells Brittany, you've crossed a line.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Oh, shit.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: And she says, I would rather leave than continue to
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: do this shit. So again, I think it's a Matt
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Sharp fake out because I don't think they're the couple
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: that leaves. But we do see a van drive off,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: which they've shown us every fucking episode.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Which we thought it was going to be this episode.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: We thought Joey was going to go ahead and leave,
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: but he didn't.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I think. Joey is going to leave because we still
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: haven't seen, we've seen clips after clips of him telling
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: her in their bedroom, I'm going off, I'm going to
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: get high. So, so I don't know.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Where would he get the drugs from?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: He's going to triple up on that Xanax. I don't know.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: He's going to like not take a Xanax and then take,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: keep three and snort six at a time. I don't
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: know if I can.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: They need to do like the whole fucking tongue check
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: with him.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Lean over, cough.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Yes, all the things.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: All the things. Oh, my God. He's going to be
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: in there, like, creating a little cooktop in his bathroom.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: You guys, I will not be here next week for
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Love After Lockup Relationship Rehab, but Keisha and Kimberly will
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: be here. They are doing a full bunkie takeover while
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I'm gone. They will be covering this show, Relationship Rehab,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: 90 Day the Other Way, 90 Day Hunt for Love,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and Welcome to Plathville.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: All while I'm gone. I think you might even be
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: doing two relationship rehabs, actually.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I think you are because I don't get back till
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that Sunday, blah, blah, blah. Okay. You guys, if there's
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: anything that needs to be reported, please DM me at
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: PinkShadePod and keep me posted on what they're doing behind
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: my back. Hopefully, I can check it. If not, send
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: me an email, mp at PinkShadePodcast.com. I know I can
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: check my email from Italy.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: If we have not proven to you after, what, four years? Mm-hmm.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Four years. We've taken over before. I know. We've done
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: it before. You have. We're closer now, though.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: This is a whole week.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Closer now. This is a whole week. We're closer now,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: and we're doing a lot more shows together. So, I mean,
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: if you can't trust me and Kimberly, who can you trust?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. I thought I could trust Matt, but he gets
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: on here and talks shit about me too.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: We're not going to talk shit about you. Okay.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Everyone else, they did not even say so.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: You guys, I'm completely joking. I know that Keisha and
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Kimberly are professionals and that they will kill it. So
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: make sure you're listening to their podcast. No, don't say that.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Whole source of income lost in a week. I hope
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Italy was worth it.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Oh my God. You guys make sure you're following Keisha's show,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the Libra lounge with Keisha. She's over there breaking down
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: your pop culture news and some of those other terrible
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: shows that I don't watch. Um, Kimberly loves those terrible
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: shows too. Um, and again, guys, if you're on pink
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: shade prime, we do the lives once a month. So
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: we will be doing one in November. Uh, the dates
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: are all posted and, uh, That's it. Make sure you're
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: following me at PinkShadePod on Instagram. And if you want
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: to see my Italy adventures, you could follow my personal account, MaryPain2.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I think I turned it off where I don't have
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: to let you follow me. But I had so many
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: bots for a while, like spammers, that I had to
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: take that off for a while. But I think I
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: fixed it.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: That's where I'll be posting about Italy. Thanks, you guys.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Keisha and I will see you on Wednesday to talk
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: about Plathville. And you can see Mariah looking like just
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: full children of the corn.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I'm glad you pulled more of me.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Get ready.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Okay. Bye.
