A major recall is underway for specific lots of Cetirizine Hydrochloride (generic Zyrtec) after contamination with ranitidine — the former active ingredient in Zantac — was discovered. Four affected lots, GY825029–GY825032, were flagged when a pharmacy tech noticed discolored tablets with red dots.
