- 2:30Speaker 2: I know, I know, thank you, Joe, Joe and I
- 2:32Speaker 2: were We're here very late last night, just moving things around,
- 2:37Speaker 2: tweaking things. I know. Now the place is a fucking mess.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So let's see. We have let's let's put it. Let's
- 2:44Speaker 2: put it here. We have uh, firmware updates you know
- 2:49Speaker 2: all about we have driver updates we have and then
- 2:54Speaker 2: Jet's going to be in here doing all kinds of
- 2:57Speaker 2: maintenance and and fun.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Now that drive thing, is that anything like dry humping
- 3:01Speaker 1: dry verb?
- 3:02Speaker 3: What?
- 3:03Speaker 2: I really don't I don't know it. Let me understand
- 3:06Speaker 2: this driver, whatever driver is, Let me understand this whole thing. Okay, please,
- 3:11Speaker 2: you're doing this.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Show JD's podcast, right yeah, uh huh okay, and you're
- 3:18Speaker 1: behind the equipment right sure okay, and you have the
- 3:22Speaker 1: headset on and you have all the mics and all
- 3:24Speaker 1: these wires and everything, but you don't know one fucking
- 3:28Speaker 1: thing nothing about how any of this shit works.
- 3:31Speaker 2: No, I really don't, Okay, I know, all.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Right, I mean I just wanted to understand this. So basically,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you're behind the wheels.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Sure, but you don't know how to drive. That is
- 3:42Speaker 2: exactly Sherilyn will tell you that's exactly.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So you're like ninety of the drivers in Vermont who
- 3:48Speaker 1: don't know how to fucking drive on the road, right,
- 3:50Speaker 1: except yours is behind the computer.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Right. This is a very dangerous place for me to
- 3:57Speaker 2: be sitting.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why planes up upside down on the runway. Sure,
- 4:02Speaker 1: because the pilots are pilots, but they don't know what
- 4:05Speaker 1: the fuck they did.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Can you believe it's already nine thirty. I'm so sorry
- 4:10Speaker 2: that I was late this morning. She people couldn't hear
- 4:13Speaker 2: us before. But I had a little medical Uh.
- 4:17Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no. You made it sound
- 4:21Speaker 1: that when people couldn't hear they didn't hear your description
- 4:24Speaker 1: of this medical thing. What was it? A fourteen foot
- 4:29Speaker 1: twelve foot needle?
- 4:30Speaker 2: It was now it was a little smaller and it
- 4:33Speaker 2: was like ten like ten foot needle.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And foot needle, yeah, being shoved into your foot six gage,
- 4:40Speaker 1: so stage really into your foot. Yeah, and you were
- 4:46Speaker 1: being a trooper, you were holding it together. Well, I
- 4:48Speaker 1: am a trooper and she well, and she is tougher
- 4:52Speaker 1: than nails. And that's why after that tiny little ten
- 4:57Speaker 1: foot needle yeah, went into your you limped into the
- 5:02Speaker 1: studio limp yeah, like a little masculine girl. Okay, okay,
- 5:08Speaker 1: thank you, and sat behind a system that you have
- 5:11Speaker 1: no fucking idea how to use, right, and made the
- 5:15Speaker 1: entire public wait a half an hour. Yeah, and now
- 5:21Speaker 1: Jed is going to be here, and Joe is here
- 5:23Speaker 1: to help boost you up, to make you look like
- 5:26Speaker 1: the demigod that you're not.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Birthdays today, Oh yeah, here we go. Justin Folsome Albrock,
- 5:33Speaker 2: Michael Maxfield, Kara Booth, Susan Golden, and Nicole Strait on
- 5:39Speaker 2: the birthday list today. Thanks for tuning in, Thanks for
- 5:42Speaker 2: getting your day started with us here in this frosty,
- 5:44Speaker 2: frigid cold morning here in Vermont. It's like it was
- 5:48Speaker 2: like ten below my house this morning. Did you freeze
- 5:51Speaker 2: your nats off to Yeah?
- 5:52Speaker 1: It was twelve degrees at my house.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What is it four above? Right? Now in Barry. Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Shorts weather, yeah right.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Oh, we've got to get the camera on Junior when
- 6:05Speaker 1: he gets here so people can see that he actually
- 6:07Speaker 1: wears shorts in this weather.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Who are these six bastards that are wearing shorts?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Did you have didn't you have an executive order? I
- 6:15Speaker 1: had an executive wear shorts below below zero? Yeah, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: yet he's in shorts. We need to throw him under
- 6:26Speaker 1: the bus when he gets here. Uh.
- 6:28Speaker 2: We're looking at cloudy skies in twenties today, lower twenties.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Tonight twelve cloudy, gonna be a little Can I say
- 6:36Speaker 2: warmer than last night? Sure? Uh? Friday partly sunny in
- 6:40Speaker 2: twenty two. Weekend looks good sun and clouds both days.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Upper twenties, lower thirties. On Sunday, Brumbert's already given me
- 6:47Speaker 2: shit because I haven't been over there with his shamrock
- 6:51Speaker 2: shake yet. Joe and I pound it two shamrock shakes
- 6:56Speaker 2: in the car last night.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And where's mine?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Well, I'm happy, Tom, happy to get you one. I
- 7:03Speaker 2: got to get Glenn one first, but oh my god,
- 7:06Speaker 2: they're so good.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Glenn. I'm in blue today, baby, So we got the
- 7:13Speaker 1: we got this stuff running.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Gee, I don't even know where to be. Got are
- 7:19Speaker 2: you going to be watching this hockey game when tonight? Canada?
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now I'm packing tonight, I'm out, We're I'm out. I'm
- 7:33Speaker 1: going on vacation. I won't be back till March first. No,
- 7:37Speaker 1: she's spot next week. And let you choose to call
- 7:41Speaker 1: me while I'm on.
- 7:42Speaker 2: The beach this tonight's hockey game between and I said this,
- 7:48Speaker 2: I said, I wonder if if Canada is going to
- 7:52Speaker 2: be playing the United States, and my god, they are.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I just tonight is going to be I don't know.
- 8:04Speaker 3: B C.
- 8:04Speaker 2: You with me.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I am there, j D. Thanks for having me on
- 8:07Speaker 3: the show.
- 8:08Speaker 2: My man, what do you what are you saying about tonight?
- 8:11Speaker 2: I mean, my god, you know, I think after that
- 8:16Speaker 2: that first game, people were like, oh man, I Canada
- 8:21Speaker 2: is not out yet. They might be back in and
- 8:25Speaker 2: they might be with the United States. And here we
- 8:28Speaker 2: go tonight, where of all places, Boston, BC.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's gonna be crazy there.
- 8:38Speaker 4: I think it's going to be a very physical game.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Based on the the first game that these two played.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I think you're gonna have some fireworks in that game.
- 8:50Speaker 3: And and you've.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Got some of the best players in the world playing
- 8:53Speaker 4: against each other for the country and just wow, man,
- 8:56Speaker 4: it's gonna be a heck of a game.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, do you think do you think we'll break the
- 9:01Speaker 2: nine second record of before fights breakout? Do you think
- 9:07Speaker 2: we'll get underneath that?
- 9:10Speaker 3: Boy?
- 9:11Speaker 4: I don't know, you know, it was I was not
- 9:14Speaker 4: surprised that that happened because of some of the chirping
- 9:17Speaker 4: that was going on, and because of some of the
- 9:18Speaker 4: other things that have gone on and kind of in
- 9:20Speaker 4: the background. You can't really get away from some of
- 9:22Speaker 4: the background noise if you will. I think there's gonna
- 9:26Speaker 4: be some some fisticuffs in this game as well. But boy, say,
- 9:31Speaker 4: it's hard to top three three Donnie Brooks in nine seconds,
- 9:35Speaker 4: that's for sure.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Yeah. What uh can you imagine being a Canadian hockey
- 9:42Speaker 2: player who's camped out in a hotel in Boston right
- 9:49Speaker 2: now getting ready for this game?
- 9:53Speaker 3: Uh?
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, just to be that environment, you know,
- 10:00Speaker 4: with everything that had gone on, with the anthems and
- 10:02Speaker 4: the you know, the antics during the game and everything.
- 10:06Speaker 4: I mean, it's just the the anticipation for this game.
- 10:11Speaker 4: It's got to be enormous. I mean, there's got to
- 10:12Speaker 4: be some jitters. I would think for both sides.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Do you have any favorite players? Do you have what's
- 10:19Speaker 2: your take on how things are going to go tonight.
- 10:22Speaker 3: You know, it's a great question, JD.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Because you've got, first of all, you know, the four
- 10:27Speaker 4: Nations tournaments. You know, which the NHL is marketing as
- 10:32Speaker 4: the best against the best. The only issue with that
- 10:35Speaker 4: is you really can't say that because for political reasons, Russia,
- 10:40Speaker 4: which is not part of this. If you were gonna
- 10:45Speaker 4: if you had five nations, for the sake of argument,
- 10:48Speaker 4: if you had, if Russia was in there, the USA
- 10:50Speaker 4: it might actually.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Be ranked third of fifth of the five teams.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 10:57Speaker 4: But I mean, you've got you've got the best player
- 10:59Speaker 4: in the world and conomic David uh playing for Canada.
- 11:04Speaker 4: You've got the the Chuck Brothers playing for the US,
- 11:07Speaker 4: You've got Jack Hughes playing for the US, and and
- 11:12Speaker 4: just the amazing amount of talent in this game alone.
- 11:18Speaker 4: It's it's gonna be uh, it's gonna be a tough
- 11:21Speaker 4: one to call.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I mean, you know, my.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Goodness, you know I'm rooting for USA. Of course, I
- 11:28Speaker 4: got to give the edge to Canada just because of
- 11:30Speaker 4: the the talent that their forwards.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Have I mean, but.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I mean it's it's it's gonna be such a passion
- 11:41Speaker 4: filled contest because like you and I were talking off air,
- 11:44Speaker 4: you know, this is really more than It's more than
- 11:47Speaker 4: a hockey game tonight.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah. And and like I said to you,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I mean, this has gotten deeply personal. I mean, uh,
- 11:56Speaker 2: Bostonians don't fool around, and there they're piss that that
- 12:02Speaker 2: Canada would stoop that load of boo our national anthem.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And here we are, We're going to be packing the
- 12:07Speaker 2: house in the garden tonight. This is going to be
- 12:10Speaker 2: pretty freakin wild man, I think so.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And you know, how how are the fans going to react? There?
- 12:22Speaker 3: You know what I would love to see.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I would love to see if you.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Want to be the.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Bigger person, if you will, what do you think the
- 12:32Speaker 4: reaction would be worldwide? If you know, you know, the
- 12:35Speaker 4: Americans wildly cheered the Canadian national anthem and then their own.
- 12:39Speaker 4: I mean, wow, you know that that would be a
- 12:42Speaker 4: way to to to, you know, be the bigger person,
- 12:45Speaker 4: if you will. But you know, this has become such
- 12:49Speaker 4: a such a personal event. I mean, there's there's so
- 12:53Speaker 4: many reasons that this is more than.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Just a hockey game tonight, there really is, sure?
- 12:57Speaker 2: Sure? Yeah, I mean, and what times the puck drop?
- 13:02Speaker 3: I believe it's eight o'clock?
- 13:03Speaker 2: All right, this is gonna be wild. I know you're
- 13:06Speaker 2: gonna be watching.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Yeah, gonna be watching. And you know, I'm passionately rooting
- 13:12Speaker 4: for the US. I'm gonna give the edge, you know.
- 13:14Speaker 4: And I'm talking now as an analyst, not as a fan.
- 13:17Speaker 4: You know, I think that Canada is if I had,
- 13:21Speaker 4: if you you know, said you need to pick, I
- 13:23Speaker 4: think Canada is gonna win this game. I don't really
- 13:26Speaker 4: want them to, but I just think that they're the edge,
- 13:28Speaker 4: the the edge in terms of the talent the five.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I mean, you've got Conor McDavid, Sidney Crosby and just
- 13:36Speaker 4: some of the some of the talent on that team.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I mean, the US is gonna have to.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Play, uh really a carbon copy of the first game
- 13:44Speaker 4: they played where they they won three to one. I
- 13:46Speaker 4: mean it was a two to one game, you had
- 13:47Speaker 4: an empty netter. But there's gonna be some fireworks in
- 13:50Speaker 4: this game.
- 13:51Speaker 3: JD.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It's gonna be a great one, no doubt. Bruce Zeeman
- 13:54Speaker 2: with US this morning, a BC tell us about your podcast.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Thanks JD.
- 14:01Speaker 4: So, as you know, you and I have been friends
- 14:03Speaker 4: for a long time, and when I when I relocated
- 14:05Speaker 4: from Vermont down here to Lewis Beach, Jelaware, where it's
- 14:08Speaker 4: a little bit warmer than where it is by you.
- 14:12Speaker 4: You know, it's it's a Bomby thirty one right now,
- 14:16Speaker 4: so a little bit warmer than up there, right.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Wow, So blessed, you are so blessed.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 4: So we created a podcast called at the Point that
- 14:28Speaker 4: we put together and we air it on Tuesdays and Thursdays,
- 14:32Speaker 4: and you know, we talk about all things hockey. We
- 14:35Speaker 4: talk about NHL, we talk about four Nations and you know,
- 14:38Speaker 4: as you alluded to a moment ago, you know, when
- 14:41Speaker 4: we were talking about this, we were talking about, you know,
- 14:46Speaker 4: the the booing of the anthems, and you know, the
- 14:49Speaker 4: reasons behind it and the reaction and how people are
- 14:54Speaker 4: Some people are really upset by it. Some people are
- 14:56Speaker 4: not upset by it and this tournament in general. But
- 14:59Speaker 4: you know, I love doing the podcast, you know, like
- 15:01Speaker 4: you I was in on you know, the radio for
- 15:03Speaker 4: many years, but it's you know now I'm really doing
- 15:05Speaker 4: more of the NHL all the time, and I love
- 15:08Speaker 4: it just a it's a it's a great thing to
- 15:11Speaker 4: be doing.
- 15:11Speaker 3: And I just have to say that, even though I'm.
- 15:13Speaker 4: In Delaware now, I listen to your you know, aired
- 15:15Speaker 4: out as often as I can.
- 15:17Speaker 3: And what a valuable community service your show is. Man,
- 15:20Speaker 3: you do such a great job with that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it. There's a lot of
- 15:25Speaker 2: goofing around here, especially on Thursday mornings, but I appreciate
- 15:29Speaker 2: you hop on uh and uh yeah always you know,
- 15:35Speaker 2: let's do it again, man, let's do it again.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I would love to do that.
- 15:38Speaker 4: And I just have to say you are such an
- 15:41Speaker 4: icon when it comes to Vermont media.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I miss being up.
- 15:45Speaker 4: There with you, kind of semi retired now doing my
- 15:48Speaker 4: thing in Delaware, but I cannot imagine the Vermont media
- 15:52Speaker 4: without JD.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Green a part of it.
- 15:54Speaker 1: There.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Vermont is so blessed to have you, buddy.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Thank you, brod Uh listen when you get back up,
- 16:00Speaker 2: please let me know I got a microphone waiting for you.
- 16:02Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:03Speaker 4: I would be honored to be on your show, and
- 16:05Speaker 4: I just want to say JD. Thank you for all
- 16:07Speaker 4: you do for everybody.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Thanks buddy. Yeah. Bruce Seman with us this morning. Gee again,
- 16:15Speaker 2: here a thing, but that was good stuff. Again, you're
- 16:18Speaker 2: in the blue today, I am, Is this all for Brummer?
- 16:21Speaker 2: What the hell's going on here? He wishes my god?
- 16:26Speaker 2: Speaking of blue, A little incident at the house the
- 16:33Speaker 2: other night. I Hrilyn was in the living room. Please,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I know other people have done this. Okay, I'm not
- 16:41Speaker 2: the only asshole in the world. Sharylan's in the living room.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Are you ready for this show? I'm I'm I'm in
- 16:50Speaker 2: the kitchen. I'm putting some dishes in the dishwasher, and
- 16:53Speaker 2: a couple of them are pretty grimy. But I didn't
- 16:55Speaker 2: have a whole lot. I didn't have enough dirty dishes
- 16:57Speaker 2: to do like a full load, but I had enough
- 16:59Speaker 2: in there where I'm like, I'm feeling kind of lazy.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I'm feeling like I want the dishwasher to do the
- 17:05Speaker 2: work right. So I put, you know, some things in there,
- 17:08Speaker 2: and I'm like having a problem with with justifying the
- 17:18Speaker 2: use of taking a pod right and using it on
- 17:22Speaker 2: this many dishes. And they're expensive.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They're expensive, But you don't want to watch those couple
- 17:27Speaker 1: of dishes yourself, because that would involve manual labors. Manual
- 17:33Speaker 1: labor so I'm like, and that's what a dishwasher is for, right.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Of course, why would I waste one of those pods?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Is there a way to get around this?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Oh God, I see where you're going with this already.
- 17:46Speaker 2: So I'm like, I mean, even Joe's looking at when
- 17:50Speaker 2: Joe looks over that when he does one of these,
- 17:53Speaker 2: that's not good.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I feel like you got a light bulb that came on.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I did, And I'm like, all right, shar Lin's in
- 17:59Speaker 2: the living room. I'm going to get through this. She's
- 18:01Speaker 2: not going to know anything. She's not gonna know.
- 18:04Speaker 1: She's going to be proud of you for doing the
- 18:06Speaker 1: dishes exactly.
- 18:08Speaker 2: So I'm like, not, I've decided. I've come to peace
- 18:11Speaker 2: with the fact that I've decided I am not going
- 18:14Speaker 2: to be using a pot, right, So can I create
- 18:20Speaker 2: my own recipe?
- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm laughing because I did this exact same thing once,
- 18:30Speaker 1: so I know exactly where you're going.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, So what do I have in that.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Can I create?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Yes, I've got I've got things around here. Come on,
- 18:41Speaker 2: So what do I have? Oh, we've got some vinegar,
- 18:46Speaker 2: oh ship, some white vinegar.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Which is good for cleaning then I was.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Then I was then I'm like.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Baking soda, Okay, that's another cleaning tool.
- 19:02Speaker 2: But wait a minute. And then I was like, hang on,
- 19:04Speaker 2: tap the brakes here, slow down, here, it's going to go.
- 19:07Speaker 2: When you combine vinegar and baking soda, don't you get
- 19:11Speaker 2: the fizzing? Okay, you know the volcano thing that you
- 19:16Speaker 2: make in in middle school, right right? So I'm like, oh,
- 19:19Speaker 2: wait a minute, I can't do the fizzing because that's
- 19:22Speaker 2: going to create a problem. Then I was like, wait
- 19:23Speaker 2: a minute, No, the fizzing is a good thing. We're clean,
- 19:26Speaker 2: it's cleaning.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's activating, it's activating.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So all right, so we got we get the vinegar,
- 19:33Speaker 2: we got the baking soda.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And so you've got stuff activating ready to go.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Right now, we need, you know, a real, a good
- 19:40Speaker 2: cleaning the cleaning agent. It's got to be h ultra
- 19:45Speaker 2: concentrated gone.
- 19:50Speaker 1: To oh you fish and concentrated a pod that's what
- 19:56Speaker 1: they make those.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Oh my god. So I'm like, you know, well, I'm
- 20:04Speaker 2: not going to use lightsol Okay, it's got to be
- 20:09Speaker 2: I mean, there's dish washing soap, so it has to
- 20:13Speaker 2: be done. Sure forgetting that it was the concentrated one.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Put some in there, and you know, I'm thinking about
- 20:26Speaker 2: other things. So when I went to squirt a good
- 20:30Speaker 2: amount camp, Oh you do own mops, right, So I
- 20:41Speaker 2: closed the door, you know, and hit the machine on,
- 20:45Speaker 2: and you know, a few minutes later, I started hearing this.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, Jesus, so you know, and I'm like, oh, no,
- 21:02Speaker 2: is it? Am I fully invested at this point?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh, you're invested. Oh, you're invested.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And I'm thinking to myself.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Dish towels, rags, body towels.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Mom.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm thinking, I'm thinking, wet back. Can I get out
- 21:18Speaker 2: of this? Some pump? Some pump? Can I How can
- 21:23Speaker 2: I get out of this? And I don't think you can.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Now that brings me to Glenn Miller. Yeah, hearing tiny bubbles,
- 21:35Speaker 1: except they're not in the wine. They're all over the
- 21:38Speaker 1: fucking floor.
- 21:40Speaker 2: So here comes you know, it looked like a volcano.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I mean, it just started coming and and I'm like, jeez,
- 21:49Speaker 2: what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do?
- 21:51Speaker 2: And then I hear Charlyn, everything, okay, everything's good.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Do you stay inside. It's under control.
- 22:00Speaker 2: And I was like, uh yeah, and here's me. You know,
- 22:03Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of, you know, things you like, So, uh,
- 22:09Speaker 2: we should go somewhere warm this spring. I wonder if
- 22:14Speaker 2: month season is going to be bad.
- 22:17Speaker 1: By the way, do we happen to have a mop handy?
- 22:20Speaker 2: So here's here's the honest to god truth. Okay, we've
- 22:27Speaker 2: been out of paper towels for like a week, and
- 22:34Speaker 2: of course, you know, instinctually, I look over to where
- 22:37Speaker 2: the paper towels are and I'm like, oh my god,
- 22:39Speaker 2: I forgot to get paper towels today. I've been trying
- 22:43Speaker 2: trying to remember for a week to no paper towels.
- 22:47Speaker 2: So I'm like, how can I get from the bathroom
- 22:53Speaker 2: to the kitchen, passing Sherilyn holding a handful of towels
- 22:58Speaker 2: without her noticing? I gotta do it. That's the only
- 23:03Speaker 2: the only place where that all the towels were, So
- 23:06Speaker 2: I go for it, and I'm like, what are all
- 23:11Speaker 2: those towels for? I know I'm not the only one.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And how did the dishes come out?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Absolutely beautiful? These these dishes were the cleanest, squeaky clean
- 23:30Speaker 2: dishes I've ever had in my life.
- 23:34Speaker 1: And what did the missus say when she finally realized
- 23:37Speaker 1: what was going on. You're an assholeail that time, you're
- 23:41Speaker 1: fucking off.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You're an asshole. If ass hole?
- 23:44Speaker 1: What the fuck? You're not even helping me now? You
- 23:47Speaker 1: know you're making me do more work?
- 23:48Speaker 2: Did you do that? What's immdiot?
- 23:51Speaker 3: You're an idiot?
- 23:52Speaker 2: Oh my god, but we've all I've done it, You've
- 23:56Speaker 2: done it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I've done it.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Why does leak water? Though? Can jet explain this? Why?
- 24:02Speaker 3: Well?
- 24:02Speaker 2: What it's like? It's not a broke there's no broken
- 24:05Speaker 2: pipe anywhere, so why why does it have to leak water?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Why does it have to come out? Why doesn't Why
- 24:13Speaker 2: can't they make a machine that goes? Uh? I really
- 24:16Speaker 2: don't like what you're doing here, and I'm gonna just
- 24:18Speaker 2: shut down and shut off. Why do we have to
- 24:20Speaker 2: have a fucking flood in the kitchen though?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I don't know, but that's something. I've done it, and yeah,
- 24:26Speaker 1: I've had days of mopping afterwards.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Uh listen, I want to Facebook question of the day
- 24:37Speaker 2: this morning, and I want to throw this. What's that
- 24:39Speaker 2: one word that you can never spell correctly? Do you
- 24:44Speaker 2: do you have one?
- 24:46Speaker 1: I can never spell correctly? I think uh, Lily has
- 24:50Speaker 1: been you know, learning spelling and stuff. Like this, so
- 24:52Speaker 1: she you know, she's not a Pia is a tough word,
- 24:55Speaker 1: tough one. She said to me, Dad, Uh, what's the
- 24:59Speaker 1: word that you can't And I said, I can't spell
- 25:01Speaker 1: the word necessary. I never have been able to any CCC.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Are there three c's? Are there four c's? Are there
- 25:08Speaker 1: one C? And the word important Sometimes I'm like, you know,
- 25:12Speaker 1: is it? Is it an A or an e? So
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'll type in important with a G and I don't
- 25:19Speaker 1: get the little squiggly lines. So I'm like, already did
- 25:21Speaker 1: that right. Next time I do it, I get the
- 25:22Speaker 1: square and I have to go and check it.
- 25:24Speaker 2: So yeah, and I said to Lily, uh, we talked
- 25:29Speaker 2: about the word except e x or ac and we
- 25:35Speaker 2: talked about that. Yeah, And I had to try to
- 25:38Speaker 2: explain that in my old ass hat kind of way,
- 25:41Speaker 2: which didn't work out very well.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Everybody else I had the flip flop. Everybody knows how
- 25:45Speaker 1: to spell in Mississippi. Oh yeah, that's because that was
- 25:49Speaker 1: like drilled into us when we were It was.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Of course, it was the word maintenance. The word definitely.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Definitely is definite. Yeah, that's another one. Is it an
- 26:02Speaker 1: e or an a? Oh?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, they're doing the spelling bees and
- 26:07Speaker 2: all the stuff in in elementary school, and you know,
- 26:11Speaker 2: this is now part of the conversation. I told Uh,
- 26:14Speaker 2: She's like, Dad, what's what's Is there another word that
- 26:17Speaker 2: you have a hard time spelling? And we we talked
- 26:19Speaker 2: about the word necessary, and I said, yes, diarrhea. That's
- 26:24Speaker 2: a tough one, buddy.
- 26:25Speaker 1: There's an H in there.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Something The H is somewhere d I A I mean,
- 26:31Speaker 2: I asked, I asked Joe and and BZ and Glynn Stacy.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Does anyone know how to spell diarrhea? It's d I
- 26:40Speaker 2: A R R. I have to look here h e A.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah that's weird.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's weird.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Why can't things just be spelled the way they sound exactly?
- 26:53Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Why does everything have to
- 26:55Speaker 1: be so monotonous?
- 26:58Speaker 2: I know, what about the word occasionally? Yeah, that's yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 2: two c's one s, accommodate, two c's two ms. Yeah, embarrassed,
- 27:13Speaker 2: but accommodate Is it a commodate? No, it's an accommodate one.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Here's another one. I can never spell receipt, Yes, I can't,
- 27:24Speaker 2: except after C. I got that part. But is it
- 27:27Speaker 2: a B? Or a P.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It's I don't know, it's a P receipt. Well, if
- 27:39Speaker 1: we were to pronounced half of the words the way
- 27:42Speaker 1: they're spelled, oh my god, we don't sound like like
- 27:46Speaker 1: the minted people. There was a text message that was
- 27:51Speaker 1: sent to you by Sherilyn. Yes, yes, I don't think
- 28:02Speaker 1: that we can no two and for you, yes, of
- 28:08Speaker 1: all people, to say nope, nope, we're not going there.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Nope.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah no, I mean and this is this is a
- 28:16Speaker 1: safe space where we say whatever the fuck we want. Right, However,
- 28:21Speaker 1: there are lines that should not be cost ever ever,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and and and they should only be caused in a phone. Sure, okay, sure,
- 28:31Speaker 1: and and yeah, she sends me these videos of stuff
- 28:34Speaker 1: that is so fucking funny. And a lot of times
- 28:38Speaker 1: it's it's with the British accent. Yes, because the accent
- 28:43Speaker 1: makes it. I mean, if you ever the other day
- 28:46Speaker 1: we were listening Jed and I were watching the TV
- 28:49Speaker 1: show Bean. Oh remember the TV show being mister Bean.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I love the old British.
- 28:55Speaker 2: One, remember that?
- 28:57Speaker 1: Yes, and I love It's not only the way he.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Talks or.
- 29:05Speaker 1: That was very good, wow, ban God, but it's the
- 29:12Speaker 1: it's the accent that he has that goes with it.
- 29:14Speaker 1: That's hysterical, you know. I mean, remember when he was
- 29:18Speaker 1: taking the test. The big it was there was a
- 29:23Speaker 1: test and one was for calculus and another one was
- 29:27Speaker 1: for geometry. So he gets to the testing place and
- 29:30Speaker 1: there's another guy sitting next to him and the guy
- 29:33Speaker 1: takes a pencil out and he puts his pencil down.
- 29:36Speaker 1: So Bean looks and he's like, oh, okay, so he
- 29:39Speaker 1: reaches in and he pulls out his pencil. So then
- 29:42Speaker 1: the guy brings a shorter pencil, so Bean pulls out
- 29:45Speaker 1: another pencil and then he looks at the guy and
- 29:47Speaker 1: he goes, oh wait, and he pulls out a lot
- 29:52Speaker 1: of pencils, and the guy's looking like what the fuck?
- 29:55Speaker 1: And he goes and then he opens a briefcit and
- 29:58Speaker 1: takes out a ton more pencils. Then he brings out
- 30:01Speaker 1: a doll, and he brings out a stuffed animal and
- 30:04Speaker 1: alarm clock all this and the guy's looking because Bean's
- 30:07Speaker 1: trying to outdo this guy and the guy just has
- 30:09Speaker 1: two fucking pencils. But Bean has got all this shit out.
- 30:13Speaker 1: And then he starts the test and he's he's looking
- 30:16Speaker 1: at the paper. He's like, oh, because it's not. It's
- 30:20Speaker 1: not the test that he's there for. He's there for
- 30:22Speaker 1: the geometry. Hysterical Ship and the English just have this sense.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Of humor that's unbelievable.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You gotta laugh.
- 30:32Speaker 2: It's different.
- 30:32Speaker 1: It's different. Even that it's the French comedians are stand
- 30:35Speaker 1: up comics. They're funny as fine. No I know, I mean,
- 30:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you've seen the fat British lady.
- 30:42Speaker 1: She's fat, she's a lesbian and she does a stand
- 30:45Speaker 1: up show, Funniest Ship. And my brother's like.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I can't understand. I can't and we're like, what, what's wrong?
- 30:51Speaker 5: They're hysterical this this this little video clip, this little
- 30:59Speaker 5: video short that that that she sent the CHAIRLN sent
- 31:03Speaker 5: to you.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I think she sent it to Chuck also, who's tuned
- 31:07Speaker 2: in this morning. He was a British guy who was U,
- 31:16Speaker 2: don't worry, I'm not going to go there. He was
- 31:18Speaker 2: at a horse race and he uh was was asked
- 31:29Speaker 2: by a reporter what he would name his horse, and
- 31:36Speaker 2: he answered it and then the reporter asked him why,
- 31:39Speaker 2: and he said why and I can't. We can't go there.
- 31:45Speaker 2: We could, but no, we can't. So it was it
- 31:50Speaker 2: was hysterical, extremely extremely inappropriate.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Okay, uh, which is what Sholyn loves.
- 32:01Speaker 2: She loves that stuff. She lives for in approve stuff.
- 32:05Speaker 2: She sent it to you. I think she sent it
- 32:07Speaker 2: to Chuck. But she also and this has happened to everyone. Gee,
- 32:13Speaker 2: she also accidentally sent it to one of the school teachers.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Oh the power of text.
- 32:28Speaker 6: It's there's no way to take it back. No, you
- 32:34Speaker 6: can't take it back. No, there's no delete.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I mean you can if you get on it fast enough.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, well Messenger allows you to delete something.
- 32:46Speaker 2: It was too late. No, no, And then you know
- 32:51Speaker 2: the next day, you know, Charlyn's got to face the teacher.
- 32:57Speaker 1: She had to go face the teacher.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I am so sorry.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Oh don't know what happened.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I am I just I'm I'm so I'm so sorry.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Oh God, love her.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And she can't she can't be on the air right
- 33:18Speaker 2: now to defend herself.
- 33:20Speaker 1: There's nothing to defend. You did what you did?
- 33:24Speaker 2: God.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And I call it Shirley. Yes, that's the name. Yes,
- 33:28Speaker 1: A long time, long time, long time.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Now.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm always like, how Shirley And she's like, that's not
- 33:34Speaker 1: my name.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I have a Uh.
- 33:39Speaker 1: She actually tells me to fuck off? Every time? Does
- 33:41Speaker 1: she goes Gee fuck off?
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yes, which is common every day.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Well, the first time I ever met her, we were
- 33:47Speaker 1: playing pool and I just met her. I didn't even
- 33:50Speaker 1: know anything about her other than this was Shirley, Yeah okay,
- 33:54Speaker 1: And I was like, Hi, how you doing. I g
- 33:56Speaker 1: bla blah blah. And then I made some joke and
- 33:58Speaker 1: she was like fuck off. And I was like, oh shit,
- 34:00Speaker 1: what did I do? And You're like, no, no, no,
- 34:03Speaker 1: that's just her yes, Because I was like, did I
- 34:06Speaker 1: do something wrong?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Just got a message from Chuck here saying, uh, yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 2: I made that mistake with a d pic once. Oh
- 34:19Speaker 2: yeah I did something like that. It wasn't a teacher,
- 34:22Speaker 2: but it was still awkward.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Was it a priest because that would have made him happy.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I mean, I can go into that. I can take
- 34:32Speaker 1: that over the line if you want.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, I have a message here of someone
- 34:41Speaker 2: that wants me to ask you this. This is a
- 34:46Speaker 2: Thursday morning dilemma. Oh okay, get Gee's insight on this.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I'm afraid, No, don't. You don't have to be afraid
- 34:57Speaker 2: about this one. But I just want to say, if
- 35:01Speaker 2: anybody sends me a text or anything, through the aired
- 35:07Speaker 2: out Facebook page or my personal Jade Green Facebook page.
- 35:12Speaker 2: And you want to remain anonymous, I will always respect
- 35:17Speaker 2: that and honor that. I will never reveal your name
- 35:22Speaker 2: unless you're Chuck Martin and you're saying that you gave
- 35:24Speaker 2: someone a d pick one time.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Right by the way, thanks for sharing that, Chuck, Thank you.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'm getting a visual.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Is your day going to be better now because of that?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's a visual, but unfortunately for Chuck, it's
- 35:38Speaker 1: very small.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Understand So this this message came into me saying, please
- 35:48Speaker 2: ask g okay about my dilemma of having some coworker problems.
- 35:57Speaker 2: I have annoying colleagues work. Some of them are persistently annoying.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I am not the only one in the office that
- 36:08Speaker 2: feels this way, but there is certain etiquette that is
- 36:13Speaker 2: not being followed or respected. One of them is an
- 36:19Speaker 2: irritating co worker who has habits of never stopping talking.
- 36:28Speaker 2: They just won't shut up. Shut up. Well, they wrote
- 36:34Speaker 2: zip it, but same thing. This is extremely frustrating. This
- 36:40Speaker 2: person is borderline out of control. I have spoken with
- 36:46Speaker 2: other co workers and we're not sure what we should do.
- 36:53Speaker 2: It seems kind of petty to introduce this complaint to
- 36:59Speaker 2: our supervisor. Good to have good communications skills in the workplace. Yes,
- 37:09Speaker 2: I think that they should go to the supervisor and
- 37:13Speaker 2: be like, look, that's fucking joy over here. You just
- 37:19Speaker 2: won't sip it. We're trying to get work done. We're distracted, And.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I think I think the first thing you should do
- 37:26Speaker 1: is go to the supervisor. Yes, and you should just
- 37:29Speaker 1: say listen, not trying to get anybody in trouble, not
- 37:32Speaker 1: trying to cause any issues. However, this is what's presented
- 37:36Speaker 1: to us recently, and it's become a thing. Well, if
- 37:40Speaker 1: the supervisor then says, you know, no, I understand, bubba,
- 37:43Speaker 1: and nothing happens, then you're entitled to go to HR. Sure,
- 37:48Speaker 1: and you go to HR and there's no retaliation that
- 37:52Speaker 1: happens to you from going to HR, and there's nothing
- 37:56Speaker 1: it doesn't get held against you, and and HR will
- 37:59Speaker 1: address the shoe anonymously right for you. But if it's
- 38:04Speaker 1: affecting your work production, or if it's getting you mentally
- 38:08Speaker 1: off balance because you're getting upset and it's building inside,
- 38:12Speaker 1: that's not healthy for you either.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Sure, here's the other side of the corner.
- 38:16Speaker 1: The other thing is you could take a bat, yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: and you can hit the person over the head, or
- 38:22Speaker 1: duct tape. Duct tape works for everything, it does. I
- 38:25Speaker 1: mean we've used it all the time, of course, and
- 38:27Speaker 1: just go up to the person and say, I just
- 38:29Speaker 1: I don't want to say anything to upset you, so
- 38:31Speaker 1: I'm just going to give you a little hint, right
- 38:33Speaker 1: and pop it.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Out, or just take that like that bat like you
- 38:36Speaker 2: were just saying, yeah, and just or just smash the
- 38:40Speaker 2: hell out of their computer and stuff. I mean, that's
- 38:42Speaker 2: another way.
- 38:43Speaker 1: So I would say, speak to the supervisor, okay, and
- 38:46Speaker 1: go as a group say listen, we just want to
- 38:48Speaker 1: talk to you. We're not we're not upset with the
- 38:50Speaker 1: person on a general level. It's just something that's happening
- 38:54Speaker 1: we need you to address. Sure, And if that doesn't work,
- 38:57Speaker 1: then you go to h shop. And if that doesn't work,
- 38:59Speaker 1: you're three choices. Quit bat them or tape them. I've
- 39:06Speaker 1: given you five options, and then come in here un
- 39:09Speaker 1: aired out and air out the story. Yeah, just so
- 39:12Speaker 1: I've given them five options. If they still have problems
- 39:14Speaker 1: in a month from now, then then they then yeah,
- 39:18Speaker 1: it's on them.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Sure, Yeah, to admit though there are people that in
- 39:25Speaker 2: the other side of the coin here that it's good
- 39:32Speaker 2: to be friendly, it's good to have some social interactions
- 39:38Speaker 2: with your with your co workers. Work shouldn't just be
- 39:42Speaker 2: about just head down and just get the job done.
- 39:45Speaker 2: You need to have some socialization social just like schools.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Kids need to be in school for socialization.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Yes, right, we live in this this world where you know,
- 39:56Speaker 2: we're all we're all tethered to our phones and we're
- 39:59Speaker 2: looking at reels, and we get home and then we're
- 40:01Speaker 2: watching TV and we don't talk to each other enough.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Some of us just feel the need, though, to kind
- 40:11Speaker 2: of purge when we're around others, and you know, we
- 40:15Speaker 2: could be lonely. Yeah, but it's kind of a pain
- 40:19Speaker 2: in the ass when you're constantly at work and you're
- 40:22Speaker 2: hearing a coworker there who just wants to be social
- 40:26Speaker 2: and not tap the brakes. So, how was Valentine's Day?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Oh my god? Did you see the sale at coals?
- 40:33Speaker 1: And there's nothing wrong with saying to the person. But
- 40:37Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with saying to the person, I really
- 40:40Speaker 1: love our conversations. Can we do it at lunch? Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: because I'm kind of focused right now, you know, save
- 40:46Speaker 1: that for lunch and then let's get together and you
- 40:49Speaker 1: can gab away for an hour or a half hour whatever. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: but yeah, I agree with you. Being social is part
- 40:56Speaker 1: of going to work. Sure, you know who wants to
- 40:59Speaker 1: go to work and sit in a cube and not
- 41:01Speaker 1: talk to anybody at all. But at the same time,
- 41:04Speaker 1: you are going to work to be productive, right.
- 41:07Speaker 2: But and you shouldn't be like somewey painting the bathroom.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Do what do you think of this? As?
- 41:13Speaker 1: Like? You know what I would like a slate.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Bluep burgundy that is just delicious. Have you ever heard
- 41:21Speaker 2: of color drenching? You know what I'm saying?
- 41:23Speaker 1: And then this is what I would do. I'm hearing this.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I want to hear this. Okay, take that right out
- 41:34Speaker 1: of the movie.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Dear jd Ask g ask g if he saw Tom
- 41:44Speaker 2: Cruise's Super Bowl intro video and what he thought of
- 41:53Speaker 2: Tom Cruise's face.
- 41:58Speaker 1: This is a very sensitive topic. This is a very
- 42:03Speaker 1: sensitive topic because I can take this topic to different levels.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Okay, hashtag hashtag cheek filler.
- 42:13Speaker 1: My husband thinks Tom Cruise is an amazing actor. Okay, Okay,
- 42:17Speaker 1: he loves everything Tom Cruise. When it comes to watching movies.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I think Tom Cruise is an asshole on every level. Okay.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I think Tom Cruise is narcissistic, arrogant, arrogant, and he
- 42:36Speaker 1: puts down people who don't believe in his religion or
- 42:40Speaker 1: want to get out of his religion scientology. He literally
- 42:44Speaker 1: literally goes for the jugular and tries to destroy people.
- 42:50Speaker 1: And to me, that's not a good person. So if
- 42:53Speaker 1: you're not a good person, I don't patronize them. I
- 42:56Speaker 1: don't watch their movies.
- 42:58Speaker 2: You know you're gonna get some heat on that.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 43:00Speaker 2: You know there's Tom Cruise lovers out there.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I know there's women listening right now.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Listen, women, you're all googling over him. You're never gonna
- 43:09Speaker 1: get it.
- 43:09Speaker 2: So there's women out there who have had Tom Cruise
- 43:12Speaker 2: posters on the ceilings of their bedroom since they were
- 43:16Speaker 2: sixteen years old, and you're pissing them off.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I don't give a shit, brutally, right, because that's the
- 43:21Speaker 1: way I look at it. It's the same thing with
- 43:23Speaker 1: Russell Crowe. My husband loves watching Russell Crowe movies. Russell
- 43:28Speaker 1: Crowe is known to be an asshole. Okay, if somebody
- 43:32Speaker 1: comes up to him and says, can you sign my autograph?
- 43:35Speaker 1: He's mean to them, he tells them, no, get away,
- 43:39Speaker 1: this and that. And what I look at is if
- 43:41Speaker 1: you're a person in the public figure and you're on TV,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you've signed up for this. This is part of your job.
- 43:49Speaker 2: You're getting some amens here.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Okay, this is part of your job. That you're out
- 43:53Speaker 1: there and you're doing movies, you're promoting your movies. You're
- 43:59Speaker 1: you're supposed to be. You're ready for the pavarazzi. Yeah, okay,
- 44:03Speaker 1: and all that stuff. Now, sometimes it's nice to be
- 44:05Speaker 1: left alone because it is your job, but you do
- 44:08Speaker 1: want your own personal life too. Sure, however, being mean
- 44:12Speaker 1: to your fans, yeah okay. Or being in a religion
- 44:17Speaker 1: that we won't even talk about scientology on that level,
- 44:20Speaker 1: because that's insanity at its best. But being in a
- 44:23Speaker 1: religion that if somebody's in it with you and they
- 44:26Speaker 1: decide they want to leave or as he calls it, defect, Okay,
- 44:31Speaker 1: that doesn't make you a good person to put that
- 44:33Speaker 1: person down and ruin their life. So I can't watch
- 44:37Speaker 1: your movies knowing that, yes, you're a great actor, but
- 44:42Speaker 1: I know what kind of a person you are, So
- 44:45Speaker 1: you don't get to entertain me because you're a bad person.
- 44:48Speaker 2: So what you're saying is that you won't be going
- 44:51Speaker 2: with me to the Mission impossible movie that's coming out
- 44:55Speaker 2: how many.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Times because it's man do a mission impossible movie.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Get over it.
- 44:59Speaker 1: The friend Chize is dead, move on.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Gee he does his own students.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Well, I wish one of them would go wrong. Maybe
- 45:10Speaker 1: that makes me a bad person, so don't watch me anymore.
- 45:13Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is, come on, when you're in
- 45:16Speaker 1: the spotlight when I was running a community center, Okay,
- 45:20Speaker 1: when you're out there and you own a business or
- 45:23Speaker 1: you do or you're a musician and people come to
- 45:27Speaker 1: you and they patronize your music or your business or whatever,
- 45:31Speaker 1: you can't be mean to them and expect people to say, well,
- 45:34Speaker 1: he's mean, but fuck it, I'll shop there anyway, or
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'll watch the movie anyway. You can't, all right, So
- 45:40Speaker 1: I have a lot of disrespect for people like that.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Alec Baldwin has been kind of a douche also.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Well, Alec Baldwin's had he's had his run. I mean,
- 45:49Speaker 1: he's he's he's done some shit. Yeah, Okay. The whole
- 45:54Speaker 1: thing with that movie set. I totally totally don't agree
- 45:58Speaker 1: with the persecution that he went through for that. That
- 46:01Speaker 1: was that was just insane. But it was his movie
- 46:06Speaker 1: set and he was in charge, and come on, you
- 46:09Speaker 1: know there are things that are gonna happen. In this case.
- 46:12Speaker 1: That wasn't his job. He pays people to do things.
- 46:17Speaker 2: When you saw Tom cruise before the Super Bowl, though,
- 46:23Speaker 2: were you? Sherilyn and I were, We were like, is that?
- 46:27Speaker 6: What?
- 46:29Speaker 2: Is that the top what?
- 46:32Speaker 1: I'll be honest, A minute I see him, I leave
- 46:35Speaker 1: the room.
- 46:36Speaker 2: I don't. I don't. So you're not examining whether or
- 46:38Speaker 2: not he's had some laser skin resurfacing.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Well, lord knows he needs a lot more. Okay, okay,
- 46:45Speaker 1: I mean he's a husband. Okay, when you when you
- 46:48Speaker 1: keep doing the same franchise over and over and over again,
- 46:53Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Come on, do something different,
- 46:56Speaker 1: don't keep doing Oh mission an impossible one, two, three,
- 46:59Speaker 1: four in seventeen. Okay, guess what. He's gonna get a mission, people,
- 47:05Speaker 1: He is the trick. He's gonna get a mission. He's
- 47:08Speaker 1: he's gonna do some stunts, he's gonna fight a lot,
- 47:12Speaker 1: he's gonna get caught and tied up, his people are
- 47:16Speaker 1: gonna get shot and hurt, and at the end he
- 47:19Speaker 1: accomplishes the mission. There Now you don't have to see
- 47:22Speaker 1: the movie anymore because it's the same fucking plot every time.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Did you like Pierce Bronson? Did you like Sean Connery?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Did you like Daniel Craig?
- 47:29Speaker 1: I do I do like Pierce Bronson?
- 47:33Speaker 2: Okay? Would you have rather had one of them be
- 47:36Speaker 2: the Who was the best Double O seven agent? Sean
- 47:39Speaker 2: Connery Sean Connery? You think so?
- 47:41Speaker 1: Yes, Sean Connery.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Didn't do the stunts that that Tom does.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Who cares?
- 47:48Speaker 2: Not jumping off trains? You and parachutes? Who dirt bike
- 47:54Speaker 2: over the cliff with a parachute.
- 47:55Speaker 1: And unfortunately the parachute opened. Just saying, okay, Sean Connery
- 48:04Speaker 1: is very He was a very talented actor. My husband
- 48:08Speaker 1: thinks he was the end all be all of all actors,
- 48:10Speaker 1: which I don't.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Think he was. Sean Connery, Yeah really, Oh my god?
- 48:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Well it's funny. One time Jed mentioned something about
- 48:18Speaker 1: this some Scottish in his in his genes or whatever,
- 48:22Speaker 1: and I said, oh, so is Sean Connery your cousin?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Sean Connery?
- 48:29Speaker 1: So he was very talented, Yes, very talent, Pierce Broons
- 48:34Speaker 1: and he was amazing when he did that movie. What
- 48:37Speaker 1: was the movie that he was the art thief rich
- 48:41Speaker 1: guy and he was an art thief. Great movie, great,
- 48:45Speaker 1: great movie.
- 48:46Speaker 2: I don't watch a lot of movies with the.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Leading actress was Russo I've forgotten now what the name
- 48:52Speaker 1: of the movie was. If Jed was here, he'd right
- 48:54Speaker 1: away tell me, because.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Did you uh did you? Did you watch the Super Bowl?
- 49:00Speaker 2: I don't think I've had a chance to chat with you.
- 49:02Speaker 1: We had a super Bowl party at my house, all right,
- 49:05Speaker 1: and what we did was we played poker and we
- 49:07Speaker 1: had the Super Bowl going okay. But as soon as
- 49:10Speaker 1: soon as the Chiefs started losing, we all stopped and
- 49:14Speaker 1: had to watch because it was Jed was rooting for
- 49:17Speaker 1: the Chiefs and he was the only one in the
- 49:19Speaker 1: room that was rooting for Everybody else was going totally
- 49:23Speaker 1: the other way. And I mean when they just kept
- 49:26Speaker 1: when Mahoney just kept I mean shut out going into
- 49:30Speaker 1: the fucking third Yeah, you know, I was laughing and
- 49:33Speaker 1: it was like it was it was great.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Did you did you see the the burning of the
- 49:43Speaker 2: Kermit the frog dolls? No, no, what is this lacking?
- 49:47Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes and who kind of sounds like like Kermit.
- 49:52Speaker 1: He walks like this, sumping up his ass. I was
- 49:56Speaker 1: watching him on the field, right, I was watching him
- 49:59Speaker 1: on the field, and I kept saying, tavybody, but doesn't
- 50:02Speaker 1: he walk weird? I mean, look, he's talented at what
- 50:07Speaker 1: he does. Okay, let's let's admit what it is. I mean,
- 50:10Speaker 1: but when when you're on the stage and you're doing
- 50:15Speaker 1: your game and you're walking, it's kind of fun to
- 50:18Speaker 1: watch and pick on things.
- 50:19Speaker 2: You know, Did you have a favorite Super Bowl commercial?
- 50:25Speaker 2: Not really?
- 50:26Speaker 1: No, no, because you know what else, here's something that's
- 50:29Speaker 1: disappointing in the old days. Yeah, in the old days.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Oh, here we go.
- 50:34Speaker 1: First of all, we didn't get previews of the fucking commercials. Okay,
- 50:40Speaker 1: the best part of watching the commercials at the Super
- 50:43Speaker 1: Bowl is to see it for the first time. Now
- 50:47Speaker 1: on the Today Show and Good Morning America and all
- 50:49Speaker 1: this other shit, they're like, well, today we're going to
- 50:52Speaker 1: show you one of the commercials, and for the next
- 50:54Speaker 1: five days we're going to air different commercials so you
- 50:56Speaker 1: can see what's coming up.
- 50:58Speaker 2: And I was like, why, because they've turned into major,
- 51:03Speaker 2: major financial events. Oh my god, they're paying what was
- 51:09Speaker 2: have live lost track?
- 51:10Speaker 1: I don't even know.
- 51:11Speaker 2: I mean it used to it used to be thirty
- 51:13Speaker 2: million for a thirty second spot, and I don't even
- 51:16Speaker 2: know what it is now.
- 51:17Speaker 1: It's just, you know, the Super Bowl was always about
- 51:20Speaker 1: and we're not even going to talk about that. Always
- 51:22Speaker 1: about the halftime show and the commercials, and obviously our
- 51:27Speaker 1: teams we enjoy that part of it too. But when
- 51:31Speaker 1: the commercials come, everybody's like, wait here.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Comes the commercials.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Now, it's like, oh, yeah, I saw this on Good
- 51:38Speaker 1: Morning America a couple of days ago.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Right, So it's not even it's not even about the
- 51:44Speaker 1: commercials anymore.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Eight million bucks. Wow, is what a thirty second commercial
- 51:49Speaker 2: that's crossed this past.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Could you imagine those businesses took that thirty seconds of
- 51:56Speaker 1: eight million dollars and applied it to people that need
- 51:59Speaker 1: it out in the real world. Could you imagine how much,
- 52:03Speaker 1: how how much happier we would be?
- 52:07Speaker 2: I just.
- 52:09Speaker 1: And then the halftime show.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Okay, be care please don't say the words halftime show,
- 52:18Speaker 2: because you're gonna get Joe upset. You're gonna get Logan upset,
- 52:22Speaker 2: You're gonna get a lot of people upset. Just don't
- 52:26Speaker 2: even say halftime show. Don't say the words Kendrick Lamar,
- 52:31Speaker 2: because Joe will turn his car around and come right
- 52:34Speaker 2: back in here and beat your ass silly. He's a
- 52:38Speaker 2: big fan I Joe and I have not had this,
- 52:41Speaker 2: this opportunity to have this fight on the area.
- 52:43Speaker 1: I am a huge fan of his, Sorry everybody, I am.
- 52:54Speaker 1: And when the halftime show came, oh so now you
- 52:57Speaker 1: and I you enjoyed to be curly. Everybody that was
- 53:01Speaker 1: there watching was like, oh my god, what is this show?
- 53:04Speaker 1: I says, You don't understand. It's just like us, Just like,
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm such a fan, and I listen to the Pitbull
- 53:12Speaker 1: station and he's on the Pitbull station on Cyrus Radio
- 53:17Speaker 1: Serious or whatever you call it. So when he comes on,
- 53:20Speaker 1: I crank it up, and I'm like, and Jed's sitting
- 53:23Speaker 1: in the car, And Jed likes rapped to a certain
- 53:25Speaker 1: degree because he likes all genres of music, so he
- 53:28Speaker 1: certain songs come on and it brings him back to
- 53:30Speaker 1: the eighties or nineties with you know one DMC and
- 53:33Speaker 1: all that. But when Kendrick comes on, I crank it
- 53:36Speaker 1: up and I'm just like, haven't at it. So yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 1: So when he came on the show and he did
- 53:43Speaker 1: the halftime show, I was like, all right, all right,
- 53:49Speaker 1: and people are like, well, he shouldn't have used that
- 53:51Speaker 1: for his platform with his fight with other people. Why not?
- 53:55Speaker 2: Fuck it?
- 53:56Speaker 1: We've seen so many horrible halftime show what's another one?
- 54:00Speaker 1: Least it was somebody that I enjoy. I'm sure you're
- 54:03Speaker 1: getting a lot of messages saying get them off the air?
- 54:07Speaker 2: Did you? Did you see the one? I think it was?
- 54:10Speaker 2: It was too Be? I don't know, with the cowboy
- 54:15Speaker 2: hat that was like formed into the guy's head. What
- 54:20Speaker 2: the he? Oh it wasn't that too Be? Just weird?
- 54:26Speaker 6: Shit?
- 54:28Speaker 2: God?
- 54:29Speaker 1: Yeah, oh I remember now it's just saying yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 54:32Speaker 1: it's weird man. Yeah yeah, that the hat was. And
- 54:36Speaker 1: he was trying to get people to go more country,
- 54:39Speaker 1: and as he was going through the commercial or whatever
- 54:41Speaker 1: it was that everybody was wearing one of those hats
- 54:44Speaker 1: and stuff. Yeah I know, I don't know.
- 54:48Speaker 2: You know. And Taylor Swift boarding her private plane at
- 54:53Speaker 2: the New Orleans Airport.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we do not want to get me into the
- 54:58Speaker 1: Tailor Swift conversation because then everybody will never want to
- 55:02Speaker 1: watch the g Spot again because I think she is
- 55:04Speaker 1: the most overpaid, overrated. All she things about is her breakups,
- 55:12Speaker 1: oh and how much she hates men and everybody. You know,
- 55:16Speaker 1: my daughter loves Taylor Swift. And when I make a
- 55:18Speaker 1: comment that, oh, I don't like her right away, she
- 55:21Speaker 1: defends her by saying, well, Barbara streisand sucks like right away,
- 55:24Speaker 1: She's got to pick somebody that I like and put
- 55:27Speaker 1: that person down. When I have an opinion about Taylor Swift,
- 55:30Speaker 1: everybody's got opinion. You can like her or you don't
- 55:33Speaker 1: have to like her. But the fact that they made
- 55:37Speaker 1: the Super Bowl about Taylor Swift is gonna be there
- 55:39Speaker 1: and this and that. It's like, Taylor Swift, shut the
- 55:42Speaker 1: fuck up. You know you're dating Kelsey Great, good for
- 55:46Speaker 1: you whatever. He has his own TV show Now, Are
- 55:50Speaker 1: You Smarter than a fifth grader?
- 55:52Speaker 3: Or No?

- 57:42Speaker 2: you do you get through that storm? Okay? And all
- 57:44Speaker 2: the snow and.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Oh gosh, yes, oh gosh yes. I have asthma, so
- 57:49Speaker 1: I can't do a lot of shoveling and.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Stuff, huh.
- 57:52Speaker 1: But I usually do the walkway and the back porchs
- 57:55Speaker 1: and things like that, and then jud does the snow blowing. Okay,
- 57:58Speaker 1: So when he goes out to snowblow, I want to
- 58:01Speaker 1: support him because that's a lot of work on our driveway.
- 58:03Speaker 1: We have the curved driveway and then it goes down
- 58:06Speaker 1: the hill.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Tool. So how are you supporting Jed snowblow? Are you
- 58:09Speaker 2: out there on the front porch going, ah, you missed
- 58:13Speaker 2: that spot.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Over there a little bit more?
- 58:14Speaker 4: No?
- 58:15Speaker 1: No, But he does misspots. Okay, he does miss spots,
- 58:19Speaker 1: but I don't point that out. But what I do
- 58:20Speaker 1: to support him is I open the blind and I
- 58:24Speaker 1: get a hot cocoa and I hold it in my hand.
- 58:28Speaker 2: You bastard, and.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I sip it, and when he goes by, I'm like, Hi,
- 58:32Speaker 1: good job. I give him the thumbs up and I wave,
- 58:38Speaker 1: and then I said, wuch, good keep going. Yeah, And
- 58:41Speaker 1: I put my hands on the cups so that it's warm.
- 58:45Speaker 1: And and so I'm supporting him, letting him know that
- 58:49Speaker 1: inside is the warmth. When he's done with the cold, yes,
- 58:53Speaker 1: he'll come in.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:56Speaker 1: And and my neighbor texts me and says, it must
- 58:59Speaker 1: really really be cold out there because Jed's wearing pants.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Oh that's serious.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, But he's only wearing pants because there's sweatpants,

- 59:30Speaker 1: What? He runs hot? I run cold. I can wear
- 59:35Speaker 1: this turtleneck, this sweater and then have a long cardigan
- 59:39Speaker 1: on and sit on the couch and put a blanket on. Right,
- 59:42Speaker 1: And he's sitting there on the couch with a T
- 59:44Speaker 1: shirt and shorts, and he'll go out to the mailbox
- 59:48Speaker 1: with his T shirt and shorts without a jacket, and
- 59:51Speaker 1: I'm like, but he runs, he runs hot. Yeah, So
- 59:55Speaker 1: he'll be sweating when it's like forty degrees and I'll
- 59:59Speaker 1: be when it's only seventy sure, like we're going on vacation.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: And if it doesn't pass seventy five, I will It'll
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: be like being out in the winter. I'll be pissed off. Yeah,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I'll be pissed.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Well, are you gonna get pissed at my weather? The

- 1:01:39Speaker 2: It's going to be amazing. Beach, you bastard. So Lily
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: and I had we had fun in the snow. You know.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: The plow came in and plowed up the driveway. Guy
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: does an incredible job and he made this huge ass
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: snow bank. Yeah. You remember playing King of the Mountain God, Yes,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: King of the Mountain yep. Okay, well you get tossed
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: off the top and get face planted.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I was playing that once outside my parents' house because
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: we had this big mound of snow and I was
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: playing there with a bunch of friends and my brother
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and I was on top of the mountain and my
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: foot fell in, so I was I was up to
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the crotch on one foot and the other foot was
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: out and I couldn't get it out. And they had
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to call my dad and he's like, oh, I'll be
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: right there now. He's putting on his hat and his
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: scarf and I'm like stuck. And he finally came out
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: and they had to dig my foot out.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: The boot. The boot was down in the hole.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: The whole thing was down there.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Did you find the boot in July? No, we do.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: They dug me until they could get it out.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Oh, they got the whole boot out.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: They chuck the whole thing out. Yeah.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Well, Lily is you know, Lily's got this at this
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: asshat idea of Dad. We need to go, we need
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: to go sledding off of this thing. Oh my gosh.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: I'm like, you know, okay, jeee, she's she's ten, I'm
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: fifty four, and you're thinking dooey, you know I right away,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I'm like, that's going to be an injury. Yep, guaranteed.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Especially with that agonizing foot.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: I'm limping. I got the plant tarfasciitis, which Chuck doesn't
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: even know about.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: That.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: You didn't even have the shot yet.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: No, I didn't have the shot.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: You were suffering horribly horrible.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Plus I have horrific arthritis in the shoulder. Yeah horrible. No,
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I'm serious. I know we're really bad. I know horrible.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: That's why when you hug me you always go down
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: low because you can't raise those arms.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: I'm not joking, it's justified. See you see this, Yeah,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: that's as high as that shoulders going. Yeah, right there, right,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I'm not playing bass, I understand, not playing basketball, right, Okay,
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: this is can get the right arm this high, but
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: that's it for the left arm. Right. So when you
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: fall and there's an injury, that's as far as this
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: is going right in each farther hell is breaking and.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: It's gonna go lest if you fall, because now you're
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: really saw.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: You know, I got a torn meniscus. I mean, I'm
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I have no business on an inflatable tube at the
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: top of a fifteen foot snow bank, you know, I
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: just don't.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: And yet you did it.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: I did it. Of course, how can I say no
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: to Lily, buddy, you can't do that. Is a father
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: you have to say, you have to say, I am
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: going to get hurt.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Yes all, for the love of my child, For the
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: love of my child.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Well, they say you'd take a bullet for your child,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: so you might as well take a full down a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: snow mountain for your child.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: And then it was like nine one one, what's your emergency.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: I'm a fat old man. I have just taken a
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: face plant in my front yard off of fifteen foot
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: snow bank. I heard a snap. I heard it. I
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: heard several snaps, and I think I soiled myself. I
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: need some help right now, Jean Ling. Do you need
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: an ambulance? Sir? No, I need a fucking helicopter, and
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: I need it right right now. Ripe me out, shit myself,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: ripe me out. I think I've torn the labroom again.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Rotator cuff. Oh my god.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I love that when you call up and you say,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: you know, they say nine one one, what's your emergency,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and you're like, you know, oh, this person just passed
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: out there on the floor. I can't revive them. Do
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you need an ambulance?
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: No? If you could send if you could send me
