Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / The Epstein Files: America’s Most Explosive Political Scandal
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. We have been through some scandals as a country.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Whether it's Watergate or the Iran-Contra affair, there have been
- 0:12Speaker 1: some gigantic scandals for American presidents. But could the Epstein
- 0:17Speaker 1: scandal be the biggest of all? Well, quite possibly. Because
- 0:21Speaker 1: when you peel back all the layers of the onion,
- 0:23Speaker 1: what it reveals about power and the elite that lord
- 0:26Speaker 1: over us is terrifying. And I know a lot of
- 0:29Speaker 1: people wanted to call that kind of thing a conspiracy theory,
- 0:32Speaker 1: but it's always been right there in plain sight. And
- 0:35Speaker 1: the people that are in control aren't some people in
- 0:37Speaker 1: some little cabal somewhere. It's the masters of the universe,
- 0:41Speaker 1: the financial sector, and the people that are around them.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And that is the beauty, if you want to call it,
- 0:48Speaker 1: of the cover story that they've built in. And of course,
- 0:51Speaker 1: that cover story has to do with all kinds of
- 0:53Speaker 1: conspiracies wrapped into one to make everybody look crazy. And
- 0:57Speaker 1: that's always been the plan, right? Oh, this couldn't be real.
- 1:00Speaker 1: There's no way this is a right-wing conspiracy. There aren't
- 1:02Speaker 1: a bunch of people that are controlling the whole world. Well,
- 1:05Speaker 1: breaking news, there are. They're just not the people that
- 1:09Speaker 1: QAnon was telling you about. Instead, it's all those people
- 1:12Speaker 1: that get up on TV in all those fancy-ass suits
- 1:15Speaker 1: and tell you a bunch of bullshit. You know, the
- 1:17Speaker 1: Jamie Diamonds of the world. Those are the real masters
- 1:20Speaker 1: of the universe. He who controls the purse strings controls
- 1:24Speaker 1: the whole party. And if you think Congress is really
- 1:27Speaker 1: at the sticks, you're not paying attention. Where do you
- 1:30Speaker 1: think all of them get funding? Where do you think
- 1:33Speaker 1: all of those people get the money they need to
- 1:35Speaker 1: run for office? It doesn't just fall out of the sky.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And you can only collect so many $ 5 donations from
- 1:42Speaker 1: the people, right? So of course, these people are in
- 1:44Speaker 1: bed with all kinds of undesirables. And the point of
- 1:47Speaker 1: getting in bed with them is that the people that
- 1:50Speaker 1: are doling out the dough, they have demands. Hey, look,
- 1:53Speaker 1: I'd like you to massage this law. Hey, why don't
- 1:55Speaker 1: you talk to your... committee about this, you know, et cetera,
- 1:58Speaker 1: et cetera. And that's how it works. But when we're
- 2:01Speaker 1: looking at scandals overall, and we're looking at the depth
- 2:04Speaker 1: of those scandals, in my opinion, I think this one
- 2:07Speaker 1: is going to end up being, if not the worst
- 2:10Speaker 1: scandal of all time in American history, right near the top.
- 2:13Speaker 1: So today we have an article from The Hill and
- 2:16Speaker 1: the headline, Is the Epstein scandal the biggest in American
- 2:19Speaker 1: presidential history? This article was authored by Juan Williams. You
- 2:25Speaker 1: tell me. Is the Jeffrey Epstein scandal the biggest in U.S.
- 2:29Speaker 1: presidential history? The 2026 elections will answer the question. Rising
- 2:34Speaker 1: grocery prices will be the obvious issue in next year's midterms,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but no story speaks more powerfully about the rise of
- 2:41Speaker 1: the super-rich to political dominance in this era than the
- 2:44Speaker 1: Epstein sex scandal. Well, look, not for nothing, Juan Williams,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've been trying to warn you, bro. You were too
- 2:51Speaker 1: busy doing other things. A lot of you people were. Now,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I will say this. Better late than never. So, welcome
- 2:58Speaker 1: to the party. But there's no doubt that this has
- 3:01Speaker 1: been going on for a very long time. And it's
- 3:03Speaker 1: both sides. Make no mistake, it's both sides. The amount
- 3:06Speaker 1: of dirty ass gross money that both sides take from
- 3:09Speaker 1: people that they shouldn't be taking money from is absurd.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And it needs to be dealt with. But it never
- 3:16Speaker 1: will be. Because the people that are making the laws,
- 3:19Speaker 1: the people that are in charge of all this shit, well,
- 3:22Speaker 1: they're the ones benefiting. So why would they change anything?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Why would they take money out of their pocket to
- 3:27Speaker 1: make the country better? That's not why they ran for office.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They ran for office to make themselves richer. And unfortunately,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that's just the truth. The scandal supports the suspicion that today,
- 3:38Speaker 1: a privileged class of men can get away with sexual
- 3:41Speaker 1: abuse of teen girls. The suspicion leads to a telling question.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Why have the President and Republican members of Congress run
- 3:49Speaker 1: interference for rich, powerful abusers of young women, That's a
- 3:53Speaker 1: fair statement. It's true. Why are they running interference right now?
- 3:58Speaker 1: And don't give me whataboutisms because I lit up the
- 4:01Speaker 1: Biden administration as well and the first Trump administration and
- 4:05Speaker 1: the Bush administration and the Clinton administration. But the boss
- 4:09Speaker 1: is the boss now and that's the Trump administration and
- 4:12Speaker 1: they're the ones that are holding the sticks, right? They're
- 4:15Speaker 1: the ones that can release the files. They're the ones
- 4:17Speaker 1: that can damage the release and they're the ones that
- 4:20Speaker 1: can stand in the way of us getting anything. So
- 4:23Speaker 1: it's important to make sure we hold everybody accountable, but
- 4:26Speaker 1: you have to be very careful of people using a
- 4:28Speaker 1: whataboutism to try and make their point and throw you
- 4:32Speaker 1: off the track. So I don't even engage in that
- 4:35Speaker 1: shit when somebody goes in with their whataboutism. My comment is, sure,
- 4:38Speaker 1: we'll get to that in a minute, but right now
- 4:41Speaker 1: we're talking about your guy. And I have bad news
- 4:43Speaker 1: for you. Your guy is an enabler. Sorry, those are
- 4:47Speaker 1: the facts. And not only that, he's engaging in a
- 4:50Speaker 1: cover-up right here in real time. And anybody who denies
- 4:53Speaker 1: it or doesn't see it is either willfully blind or
- 4:57Speaker 1: just dumb. At any point, President Trump could have released
- 5:02Speaker 1: the Epstein files. He did not. House Speaker Mike Johnson
- 5:06Speaker 1: could have pushed for a vote to release the files. Instead,
- 5:09Speaker 1: he kept the U.S. House of Representatives shut down for
- 5:12Speaker 1: nearly two months. His move delayed the release of redacted
- 5:15Speaker 1: files relating to Epstein's alleged child sex trafficking network. Ghislaine
- 5:19Speaker 1: Maxwell was convicted for participating in that abuse while Epstein
- 5:23Speaker 1: died before trial. When the House was about to vote
- 5:26Speaker 1: on releasing the files, Representative Lauren Boebert was summoned to
- 5:30Speaker 1: the Trump White House and taken to the Situation Room,
- 5:33Speaker 1: where Attorney General and FBI Director attempted to pressure her
- 5:37Speaker 1: to vote against releasing the files. What kind of bullshit
- 5:40Speaker 1: is that? And if that's not a cover-up, I don't
- 5:42Speaker 1: know what is. That's not whipping votes. That's trying to
- 5:46Speaker 1: intimidate somebody to do what you want them to do.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And Marjorie Taylor Greene, she ain't having it anymore either.
- 5:52Speaker 1: She decided the whole party is disgusting and she's leaving.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's like she walked into a ditty white party and
- 5:59Speaker 1: realized how fucked up things were. And so she's finally
- 6:01Speaker 1: had enough and she's out too. And if you would
- 6:04Speaker 1: have told me a year ago that I'd have a
- 6:06Speaker 1: favorable opinion of Marjorie Taylor Greene, I would have told
- 6:09Speaker 1: you to get off the acid. Because she was another
- 6:12Speaker 1: one that was causing a bunch of chaos. All the division,
- 6:15Speaker 1: all the bullshit, that's not helping anybody. We need to
- 6:18Speaker 1: be able to talk to each other like adults. No attacks,
- 6:22Speaker 1: no bullshit, just adults, and that means dealing with harsh truths,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and obviously that's not something that Donald Trump has any
- 6:29Speaker 1: desire to do. Trump vilified Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene for
- 6:33Speaker 1: supporting the release of the files. She said Trump's criticism
- 6:37Speaker 1: of her as a traitor and wacky was a dog
- 6:39Speaker 1: whistle to dangerous radicals and put her life in danger.
- 6:43Speaker 1: The fear she felt led her to admit, she had
- 6:45Speaker 1: a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, victims,
- 6:49Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal must feel. Like, imagine
- 6:53Speaker 1: for a minute that these people have the kind of
- 6:55Speaker 1: power they can force a sitting congresswoman to retire because
- 7:00Speaker 1: that's basically what they're doing. What, you really think Marjorie
- 7:03Speaker 1: Taylor Greene wanted to retire? This is all based on
- 7:06Speaker 1: her support of the Epstein files being released. So she
- 7:10Speaker 1: should be, and like I told you a couple of
- 7:12Speaker 1: weeks ago, I don't care what side of the aisle
- 7:14Speaker 1: you're on. I don't care what your background is. I
- 7:17Speaker 1: don't care about any of it. If you're willing to
- 7:20Speaker 1: stand shoulder to shoulder and go after these people, we're homies.
- 7:24Speaker 1: That's it. And whatever policy-related issues that we disagree on,
- 7:28Speaker 1: we can get to that later. But this is common
- 7:30Speaker 1: ground right here, and anybody who is not going crazy
- 7:34Speaker 1: about what's going on is on Team Predator. And that's
- 7:37Speaker 1: just how I feel at this point. I mean, is
- 7:38Speaker 1: there really any gray area here? Even if you don't
- 7:41Speaker 1: believe the larger story about intelligence or anything like that,
- 7:46Speaker 1: there is no doubt that Jeffrey Epstein was abusing 14-year-old
- 7:50Speaker 1: girls three, four a day down in Florida. And people
- 7:54Speaker 1: knew about that too. So you can try and say, oh, well,
- 7:58Speaker 1: this is all just a big conspiracy. Jeffrey Epstein had
- 8:00Speaker 1: nothing to do with intelligence. There was no blackmail. There
- 8:03Speaker 1: was nobody else. Well, how do you deal with Florida then?
- 8:07Speaker 1: How do you answer for that? Nobody should be held
- 8:10Speaker 1: accountable for what went down in Florida? Nobody should be
- 8:12Speaker 1: held accountable for the NPA? Nobody should be held accountable
- 8:16Speaker 1: for covering it up now? Like, how the fuck do
- 8:18Speaker 1: you even justify that? How do you justify that thought pattern?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Or even thinking it's okay? There is no justification for
- 8:25Speaker 1: any of this. Green soon announced her resignation from Congress.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Trump had threatened to support a primary challenge against her
- 8:33Speaker 1: in the midterms. This has been one of the most
- 8:35Speaker 1: destructive things to MAGA. Watching the man that we supported
- 8:39Speaker 1: early on, three elections, oppose the bill, she told reporters.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Watching this actually turn into a fight has ripped MAGA
- 8:47Speaker 1: apart 1,000%. Without a doubt. Now, the hardcore MAGA, they're
- 8:51Speaker 1: going to stick around. But the independents that actually delivered
- 8:55Speaker 1: the victory to Trump, they've all abandoned ship. Because those
- 8:58Speaker 1: people aren't beholden to a man. They were beholden to
- 9:01Speaker 1: the idea that he was going to come in and
- 9:04Speaker 1: shake things up. That he was going to fight for
- 9:06Speaker 1: the people. Well, we got hustled. Hate to say it,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but the hustle was on. And Donald Trump and his
- 9:13Speaker 1: people have done nothing this second term but enrich themselves. Meanwhile,
- 9:18Speaker 1: the rest of us are looking around like, what the
- 9:20Speaker 1: fuck is happening right now? How did we wake up
- 9:22Speaker 1: in this nightmare? But the one sliver of good news
- 9:25Speaker 1: is people are waking up. And when people wake up,
- 9:28Speaker 1: they demand accountability. And hopefully that's where this all ends up,
- 9:32Speaker 1: with people being held accountable. Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy
- 9:37Speaker 1: Noonan wrote last week that what's driving this story isn't
- 9:41Speaker 1: conspiracism or mystery. It's a feeling of betrayal. She said
- 9:45Speaker 1: it was a failure of the nation's power players, the elite,
- 9:48Speaker 1: to protect children and to protect the vulnerable. Altogether, look,
- 9:53Speaker 1: just because somebody was 18 or 19 years old, they
- 9:56Speaker 1: don't deserve to be protected from a monster like Epstein.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but you're never going to get me to
- 10:01Speaker 1: agree with that. Now, of course, the most heinous crime
- 10:04Speaker 1: you can commit is against children. But that doesn't mean
- 10:07Speaker 1: that if you committed a crime against somebody who's 21
- 10:10Speaker 1: or 19, that we should ignore it. Fuck no. You're
- 10:14Speaker 1: a predator. You're a piece of shit. And there's not
- 10:17Speaker 1: a hell hot enough for you. Noonan asked a question
- 10:20Speaker 1: with potential to echo through the 26 elections. Why is
- 10:23Speaker 1: the president pushing so hard to thwart disclosure of the
- 10:26Speaker 1: Epstein files? Is it that his name was all over
- 10:29Speaker 1: the files, Noonan wrote? She asked why the president and
- 10:33Speaker 1: so many other prominent men remained close to Epstein after
- 10:36Speaker 1: he pleaded guilty in 2008 to sexual abuse of children.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Credit to Miami Herald investigative journalist Julie K. Brown, who
- 10:44Speaker 1: first exposed Epstein and has stayed on the story for
- 10:47Speaker 1: a decade. Well, I have my thoughts about that as well.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Great job with the actual first piece, but Julie K.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Brown hasn't really stepped up to the plate the way
- 10:57Speaker 1: she should. There's been a lot of work done while
- 10:59Speaker 1: Julie K. Brown has been sitting around enjoying herself and
- 11:03Speaker 1: basking in the glory. So kudos for the original story,
- 11:06Speaker 1: but it doesn't just stop there. The war has raged
- 11:10Speaker 1: and the war has continued. And now, of course, Julie K.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Brown has stepped back into the scene because the story
- 11:15Speaker 1: is catching tread again. Meanwhile, some people have never stopped
- 11:19Speaker 1: talking about it. Huge payments to Epstein by some of
- 11:23Speaker 1: the world's richest men remain unexplained. No one in the
- 11:26Speaker 1: Trump administration has explained the recent transfer of Glenn Maxwell
- 11:30Speaker 1: to a lower security prison in Texas, where she now
- 11:33Speaker 1: enjoys custom meals and therapy puppies. The warden of the
- 11:37Speaker 1: prison has reportedly said she is tired of being Maxwell's bitch.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Like what? And if you think we're done talking about
- 11:44Speaker 1: that story, you're crazy. Plenty more to talk about when
- 11:47Speaker 1: it comes to Maxwell and that move. And unfortunately, the
- 11:50Speaker 1: way things are going, I doubt we're going to get
- 11:52Speaker 1: any answers when it comes to Maxwell and them stashing
- 11:55Speaker 1: her at Camp Ryan. Just more of that move on,
- 11:58Speaker 1: nothing to see here kind of attitude from the so-called
- 12:01Speaker 1: most transparent administration in history. And though it received little attention,
- 12:06Speaker 1: major questions remained about former Trump Labor Secretary Alex Acosta's
- 12:11Speaker 1: role in the affair. In September, congressional testimony, Acosta said
- 12:16Speaker 1: he gave a relatively light plea deal to Epstein because
- 12:19Speaker 1: federal prosecutors were dealing with uncooperative witnesses and evidentiary issues. B.S.,
- 12:24Speaker 1: that's not true. They were not. They gave it to
- 12:27Speaker 1: him because they were told to. By Mukasey, by, uh, Philippe,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and by the bosses at the DOJ. That's how this works.
- 12:35Speaker 1: You really think that a line prosecutor or even an
- 12:37Speaker 1: AUSA is leading the whole entire orchestra here? Stop it.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Bro's playing the trumpet at best. Democrats on the House
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oversight Committee said Acosta's testimony was non-credible and charged him
- 12:50Speaker 1: with allowing a sweetheart deal in which Epstein continued to
- 12:53Speaker 1: abuse young women. Well, that's true. That is definitely true.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Acosta is a piece of shit. But he's not responsible
- 13:00Speaker 1: for the non-prosecution agreement. He just played a little part.
- 13:05Speaker 1: In October, similarly troubling questions emerged about Matt Gaetz, the
- 13:08Speaker 1: former congressman who was Trump's first choice to be his
- 13:11Speaker 1: attorney general at the start of his term. A House
- 13:14Speaker 1: Ethics Committee investigation concluded there was evidence that Gaetz broke
- 13:18Speaker 1: statutory rape law in Florida by having sex with a
- 13:21Speaker 1: teen girl. And last month, newly released court documents revealed
- 13:25Speaker 1: that the young woman was a then-homeless 17-year-old high schooler
- 13:29Speaker 1: when she met Gaetz, according to the New York Times. Oh,
- 13:32Speaker 1: that's the predator's favorite, right? Vulnerable girl, has no money,
- 13:36Speaker 1: needs some help. Matt Gaetz to the rescue. Straight up gross.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Gaetz was never charged and denies having sex with young women,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but his friend Joel Greenberg, a Florida official, admitted to
- 13:47Speaker 1: sex trafficking the same 17-year-old and was given an 11-year
- 13:51Speaker 1: jail sentence. Oh, well, it wasn't me. It was my buddy.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I had nothing to do with it. As former Representative
- 13:57Speaker 1: Liz Cheney said at the outset of the January 6th
- 14:00Speaker 1: hearings to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible,
- 14:04Speaker 1: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone,
- 14:07Speaker 1: but your dishonor will remain. That day is fast approaching.
- 14:11Speaker 1: To all the Republican members of Congress and their staffers
- 14:14Speaker 1: who may well be out of a job this time
- 14:16Speaker 1: next year, that reckoning is coming. And there's no doubt
- 14:20Speaker 1: it is. Because I don't think anybody is under any
- 14:23Speaker 1: illusions that there's going to be some massive change here
- 14:27Speaker 1: and that the Republicans are going to hold the House
- 14:29Speaker 1: or even the Senate come the midterms. And it's all
- 14:32Speaker 1: by their own bullshit. They're losing it. because they're not
- 14:35Speaker 1: capable of keeping it. Voters are unlikely to fall for
- 14:39Speaker 1: the president's attempts to distract and divert attention from the
- 14:42Speaker 1: growth of potentially the greatest presidential scandal in American history.
- 14:48Speaker 1: It's now up to the media to keep asking questions,
- 14:50Speaker 1: keep this story alive until the truth is revealed. Voters
- 14:54Speaker 1: will speak truth to power when they go to the
- 14:56Speaker 1: polls in November of 2026. Oh, well, Juan Williams shows
- 15:00Speaker 1: up out of nowhere and starts talking about accountability. This
- 15:03Speaker 1: is another guy who called it a conspiracy theory that
- 15:05Speaker 1: was cooked up by MAGA. But now all of a
- 15:08Speaker 1: sudden he wants accountability and justice too? All right, well,
- 15:12Speaker 1: better late than never, but bro, don't piss on my
- 15:14Speaker 1: back and tell me it's raining. And there's a lot
- 15:17Speaker 1: of that going on when it comes to the legacy media.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But the truth is, the more attention, the better. Because
- 15:23Speaker 1: the more information you folks have, the more well-armed you are.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And when you're battling an enemy like this, who loves
- 15:29Speaker 1: to use misdirection, obfuscation, and bullshit, the best weapon you
- 15:33Speaker 1: have against that is the truth. So, like usual, we're
- 15:37Speaker 1: going to continue to strive for that, and we're going
- 15:39Speaker 1: to continue to swim through all this muck looking for clarity.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And every time we come up for a breath, we're
- 15:45Speaker 1: going to scream the same thing. It's time to release
- 15:48Speaker 1: the files. All of the information that goes with this
- 15:52Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
