So many people live for the mountain top experiences because that’s when they feel closest to God. It's not that He isn’t present in the valleys, we just need to learn how to recognize Him there. People sometimes blame this on their pastors or the preaching instead of recognizing that the issue is their own relationship with God. The spiritual disciplines will help us be intentional about growing that relationship.
