- 2:29Speaker 2: eighty eight point seven KBBR Core Vallas. I'm Lisa hold
- 2:33Speaker 2: Brand and I'm going to be your host for this
- 2:35Speaker 2: upcoming hour, and I got to tell you everyone, I'm
- 2:39Speaker 2: really really excited about what's coming this hour because anyone
- 2:42Speaker 2: who is listening, that's you listeners, you are about to
- 2:45Speaker 2: be a part of something historic. You're going to be
- 2:49Speaker 2: a part of a global radio premiere because the songs
- 2:53Speaker 2: I am going to play you have never ever been
- 2:57Speaker 2: played before on live radio, and eighty eight point seven
- 3:00Speaker 2: KBVR is the station that's going to be doing it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I know you're probably all freaking out right now, just
- 3:08Speaker 2: as I am, so contain yourselves. Here's here's a little
- 3:11Speaker 2: bit of background about what's going on. So the three
- 3:13Speaker 2: songs that I'm going to play for you are from
- 3:15Speaker 2: a newly released EP called Baddie. The songs have been
- 3:20Speaker 2: written and performed by two amazing Australian dudes called Jake
- 3:25Speaker 2: Craig and Audie Clark. They are the hosts of a
- 3:28Speaker 2: podcast called Relatables. Relatables is a conversational podcast where Jake
- 3:34Speaker 2: and Audie discuss relationships and love and just life in general,
- 3:39Speaker 2: and they do it with a very feminist sort of
- 3:42Speaker 2: take and perspective.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Which is very refreshing.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It's it's hilarious, it's informative and wholesome, but most of all,
- 3:51Speaker 2: it's relatable. So yeah, just a plug there, give them
- 3:56Speaker 2: a listen. You won't you won't regret it.
- 3:57Speaker 6: There.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It's a lot of fun anyway. So Jake and Audie
- 4:01Speaker 2: they've created this EP of songs based on some of
- 4:04Speaker 2: the conversations that they've had on the podcast. And when
- 4:07Speaker 2: they released this EP a few weeks ago, they had
- 4:12Speaker 2: a mission a campaign dare I say a dream? A
- 4:17Speaker 2: dream to get one of their songs played on live radio. Well,
- 4:20Speaker 2: here at KBVR, at OSU and Beaver Nation, we make
- 4:25Speaker 2: dreams come true. So not only am I going to
- 4:28Speaker 2: play one of their songs, I'm going to be playing
- 4:32Speaker 2: their entire EP for this full hour because their songs
- 4:37Speaker 2: deserve some love and you know, who knows, we might
- 4:40Speaker 2: get bragging rights for making these guys music superstars. So
- 4:47Speaker 2: the songs, they're a lot of fun. They're all very
- 4:49Speaker 2: different genres, so I think there should be something here
- 4:52Speaker 2: for everybody to enjoy. So that's my preface done. It's
- 4:59Speaker 2: almost I'm for this global radio premiere of the Batty
- 5:03Speaker 2: EP to happen. But before we get to it, Jake
- 5:06Speaker 2: and Audie have recorded a special message for everyone listening
- 5:11Speaker 2: on kbvr FM all.
- 5:13Speaker 5: The way from Australia.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And then right after you hear their little message, you
- 5:18Speaker 2: will hear the first song from the EC which is
- 5:21Speaker 2: called Love a Boy's Version. So get ready, everyone, hold
- 5:26Speaker 2: on to your horses. You are about to be part
- 5:30Speaker 2: of a global radio premiere.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Enjoy.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Hey guys, it's Jake and Audio from the Relatable and
- 5:38Speaker 1: we're so excited to have our EP debuting on the
- 5:41Speaker 1: radio at kb VRFM.
- 5:44Speaker 3: This AP is called Battie, featuring three songs, Love a
- 5:47Speaker 3: Boys Version. He's pav Salant and there's something in there
- 5:51Speaker 3: for everyone.
- 5:52Speaker 1: We hope you enjoy.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Es it. Man, I think I'm in love.
- 6:08Speaker 8: Come on, be realistic.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Wait, no, I'm serious.
- 6:12Speaker 8: I think this one's different.
- 6:13Speaker 7: That's what you said the last time.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Yeah, for the last time, I didn't feel I think we.
- 6:18Speaker 9: Set out makes deep, that two starts lasting.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Shot, I'm gonna ask you to be my girlfriend already
- 6:33Speaker 3: that kind of quick, maybe, but it just feels different.
- 6:37Speaker 7: You're only twenty four.
- 6:38Speaker 8: That I felt something, but don't feel whole. Maybe I
- 6:43Speaker 8: have to maybe this is all lay side storm. I
- 6:54Speaker 8: never had that.
- 6:57Speaker 10: Ah like this, No, so I don't want gave me
- 7:05Speaker 10: straight Hill, I can't scratch makes.
- 7:11Speaker 8: A smile live.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Like two stars.
- 7:15Speaker 11: Last time the child that stop what if I love
- 7:24Speaker 11: what she don't is saying, what's the moment?
- 7:33Speaker 8: What if?
- 7:33Speaker 3: That is my.
- 7:35Speaker 8: What if? I if you take the chance, then take me.
- 7:40Speaker 8: It's real. Hell, I can't despis sive.
- 7:48Speaker 11: Guys were like two stars lasting to each other.
- 7:51Speaker 10: But this time it's red Hill.
- 7:54Speaker 8: And that's im a chance on that need to go.
- 7:58Speaker 8: Maybe it's friend was me man, I think, I.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Think I'm in love.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 8:33Speaker 2: So that was the first time that Love a Boys
- 8:36Speaker 2: version from the EP bad D was played on the radio.
- 8:40Speaker 5: I just I love that song.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I can't you just picture a crowd full of people
- 8:46Speaker 2: waving lighters and camera.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Phone lights from left to right and swaying. It's just
- 8:52Speaker 5: it's so, it's so great.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna we're gonna keep on going here With
- 8:58Speaker 2: the second song from the e P this one is
- 9:02Speaker 2: called his p O V.
- 9:04Speaker 5: It's like I said.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Earlier, there are a little bit of different genres, so
- 9:08Speaker 2: this one's a little more a little more rocky, so enjoyed.
- 9:12Speaker 1: This is his p O V.
- 9:16Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, always missing in ambition, walking circles in my room,
- 9:27Speaker 12: running off views, nothing too.
- 9:29Speaker 8: She lets his jokes, but she's texting me to today's
- 9:33Speaker 8: the day. That's where I was saying, my throat, but
- 9:37Speaker 8: I still delay it.
- 9:39Speaker 9: Still.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 8: I know that she's ready, that's ano fact. But do
- 9:45Speaker 8: ever see me like that?
- 9:52Speaker 7: I've been waiting what to do? You told me yet
- 10:05Speaker 7: he'd let you down right, hanging around to about something
- 10:11Speaker 7: but not too close.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I was like, you mean right, Maybe it's stupid, maybe
- 10:17Speaker 3: he's lay, but I'm tired of saying, say you look
- 10:22Speaker 3: at me.
- 10:23Speaker 6: I'm almost right, but never quiet and enough to find
- 10:27Speaker 6: Why can't we give this a try?
- 10:32Speaker 7: When you spray way way, my.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Gosh, it's c O B.
- 11:41Speaker 5: I love that one.
- 11:42Speaker 2: It's so it's so fun, it's a rocky. So many
- 11:45Speaker 2: good lines in that one. My favorite is she laughs
- 11:48Speaker 2: at his joke, but she's texting me too.
- 11:52Speaker 5: I just love it. It makes me. It makes me
- 11:53Speaker 5: laugh every single time because it's so relatable. Am I right?
- 11:57Speaker 8: Ladies?
- 11:59Speaker 1: All right?
- 12:00Speaker 2: For the third and final song of the EP, You
- 12:05Speaker 2: know I love them all, but this one might be
- 12:07Speaker 2: my favorite everyone. It's just it's it's it's dancy, it's upbeat,
- 12:12Speaker 2: it's just so fun. So this third and final song
- 12:17Speaker 2: of the batt e Ep is called Chalant, and I
- 12:23Speaker 2: hope you enjoy it all.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Right, here we go, He's well, I.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Don't know how to liver in the eyes.
- 12:31Speaker 13: Is the effort even worth this time? I missed the
- 12:36Speaker 13: way we talked all night. Now it's just silence on
- 12:41Speaker 13: both sides, and I'm holding on to something that's gone. Wow,
- 12:47Speaker 13: you're chasing shadows that could never look like He's smiling,
- 12:51Speaker 13: stuck in a loop, stuck in the ruins.
- 12:55Speaker 8: People think condo.
- 12:56Speaker 6: Lulu, don't you the sweet illusion? But we cracked in
- 13:04Speaker 6: the haze of your confusion. Don't want you to be here,
- 13:08Speaker 6: don't need.
- 13:09Speaker 8: To be equal, just want you to be you. Then
- 13:12Speaker 8: we can start again.
- 13:18Speaker 7: Smoking my lungs bad.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's not from the flame?
- 13:22Speaker 8: Is the way we went?
- 13:23Speaker 7: Now?
- 13:24Speaker 1: No one to blame.
- 13:25Speaker 14: You told me you had it off, and now you
- 13:31Speaker 14: barely call our root. Played the nights with the UFO post.
- 13:37Speaker 14: Now let's use your voice through with die with tone?
- 13:42Speaker 14: Was it ever real or was it just blood? Because
- 13:46Speaker 14: you left me.
- 13:46Speaker 6: On red and caught the time trying to hold.
- 13:50Speaker 8: On to the sweet illusion?
- 13:53Speaker 1: But we crab your computation.
- 13:57Speaker 8: Don't want you to be Hi, don't be the behicle,
- 14:01Speaker 8: Just want you to be.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Then we can start again.
- 14:05Speaker 13: You say you're fine, but I know your tone. We
- 14:09Speaker 13: keep on dancing with the unknown. You change the lips,
- 14:14Speaker 13: but I kept the king, still holding on to what
- 14:18Speaker 13: we used to be.
- 14:20Speaker 8: I guess it turned into that shadow, just not the
- 14:25Speaker 8: one you wanted to be. We had gone. Now it's
- 14:30Speaker 8: dust in the light.
- 14:32Speaker 7: I guess some love face.
- 14:34Speaker 8: Did you even fine to hold on to the sweet illusion?
- 14:39Speaker 8: But were cracking the hate of your confusion? Don't want
- 14:44Speaker 8: you to be his? I don't need to vehicle, just
- 14:47Speaker 8: want you to be.
- 14:49Speaker 13: Then we can start again.
- 14:51Speaker 8: To hold on to the sweet allusion. But we're cracking
- 14:56Speaker 8: in the haze of your confusion.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I don't want you to.
- 15:05Speaker 8: Again.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Ah my gosh, everyone, thank you for being part of
- 15:12Speaker 2: the first round of that EP, because guess what, We're
- 15:16Speaker 2: gonna do that all again for the next hour. Listen
- 15:20Speaker 2: to those three amazing songs from the EP. Baddie Bye, Uh, oh,
- 15:26Speaker 2: my gosh, I just forgot their names. Uh Jake, Grag
- 15:29Speaker 2: and Audie Clark from the Relatables podcast.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Man Chalant is so fun. I think it's so great.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Jake and Audie on the Relatables podcast, they they've discussed
- 15:38Speaker 2: this topic of men and relationships being too nonchalant, like
- 15:44Speaker 2: not displaying any excitement or enthusiasm, not taking initiative, and
- 15:47Speaker 2: it is so frustrating. And as someone who has experienced
- 15:51Speaker 2: the nonchalant neess, if that's a word of men that
- 15:56Speaker 2: I have dated, this is. It's just such a relatable
- 15:58Speaker 2: song song. So thank you Jake and Noughtie for you know,
- 16:01Speaker 2: shedding some light. Thank you this urgent matter and writing
- 16:04Speaker 2: a song about it. So yeah, as I said, we're
- 16:08Speaker 2: gonna we're gonna give these songs some airtime. So we're
- 16:12Speaker 2: just gonna play those through again. I hope you enjoy
- 16:16Speaker 2: them second time around. Maybe this time you'll you'll remember
- 16:19Speaker 2: some of the lyrics. So we're gonna we're gonna do
- 16:23Speaker 2: with the Holy p again. Love a Boys version followed
- 16:25Speaker 2: by his POV followed by Chalant enjoy.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow, Well that was I'm so happy.
- 16:37Speaker 7: Wow.
- 16:37Speaker 3: We have to say a big shout out to Lisa
- 16:41Speaker 3: and all of the baddies for making that happen. Thank
- 16:45Speaker 3: you guys, because honestly, on our podcast journey, I think
- 16:51Speaker 3: this might be my best moment right now, our best
- 16:54Speaker 3: moment together.
- 16:55Speaker 7: This was.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's surreal. Yeah, honestly so cool. I got a text
- 17:01Speaker 1: halfway through that good thing. I was on silent. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: was on do not disturb, but Beth goes through I
- 17:05Speaker 1: do not disturb. Yeah, she sent me a text or caps.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Congrats on your song on the radio. Yeah, it's fucking gov. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you're dating an artist.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Honestly, love a boy version. I can see the vision lights. Yeah,
- 17:20Speaker 3: just in the crowd. I think live show.
- 17:22Speaker 1: When live show comes around forrmanly we start with that
- 17:25Speaker 1: little duet, I say, he's okay, okay, live show. We
- 17:30Speaker 1: start eating whenever we do. We started with one of
- 17:33Speaker 1: the songs, right, so you get a lucky dip every
- 17:36Speaker 1: now and then little easter egg. One of us comes
- 17:38Speaker 1: out and does a solo of the songs we've just
- 17:40Speaker 1: done ourselves. Yeah, that would be crazy, but first live
- 17:43Speaker 1: show we do. We set it up. We're wearing like,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't know, sick we we think of some sick uniforms.
- 17:48Speaker 1: We could be wearing our pajamas from book clubs, and
- 17:52Speaker 1: we come out. We do a duet with auto tune
- 17:53Speaker 1: turned up to the max. Bro just do a duet,
- 17:56Speaker 1: and we just get right everybody, get your out now.
- 18:00Speaker 3: We'll make it happen. It all starts with the live shows.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I see the vision, I really do.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It's gonna be sick. I can think about it because
- 18:07Speaker 1: we're stressed about live shows filling in an hour of
- 18:09Speaker 1: entertainment and stuff that's like three minutes. That's like, that's
- 18:13Speaker 1: like two minutes. It's probably a good five minutes right
- 18:18Speaker 1: after the standing ovation, of course. Yeah, and then ever
- 18:21Speaker 1: we run back, we bow, we can dress in normal clothes.
- 18:24Speaker 1: We come back, here we go. Yeah, we don't know
- 18:25Speaker 1: who that was, but thanks for starting the show.
- 18:27Speaker 7: Guy.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah that's a great.
- 18:30Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, we got alter egos that are coming out
- 18:33Speaker 1: pretty soon. Guys and guys.
- 18:39Speaker 3: We have the rest of our episode to shoot, and
- 18:42Speaker 3: we might just pop in in and out of kb VFM.
- 18:45Speaker 1: See what song you're up to? Yeah, kbb I f
- 18:49Speaker 1: M dot Orange Media Network dot com. Yeah, oh, bodie. Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 1: So last as we all are, as we all know
- 19:05Speaker 1: if you're a part of the book club, the red
- 19:07Speaker 1: latter was bad his book club. I complain every week
- 19:10Speaker 1: is that ten chapters isn't enough for me, But you
- 19:12Speaker 1: need to hit I'm happy enough to admit or I
- 19:16Speaker 1: can admit maybe I'm not happy about it. The ten chapters,
- 19:20Speaker 1: like we go in depth, so that shit takes an hour. Yeah,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you can't be doing a two hour episode here, and
- 19:25Speaker 1: if we wanted to read more chapters, i'd be haven't
- 19:28Speaker 1: trying to do an hour episode and just skip shit,
- 19:30Speaker 1: which you don't want to do. It's almost like you
- 19:32Speaker 1: wouldn't need a podcast to talk about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 1: so we ll not we But I asked the bout
- 19:39Speaker 1: is what books? I said, I'm struggling because I'll read.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I'll be done the ten chapters by Thursday, and then
- 19:45Speaker 1: we don't record till Tuesday. So I just got nothing
- 19:47Speaker 1: to read and I'm upset and I want to read
- 19:49Speaker 1: because I like stand off my phone, but I can't
- 19:50Speaker 1: read nonfiction.
- 19:52Speaker 8: I tried.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Hate it. Now it's to fucking hate it. Now you
- 19:58Speaker 1: read a page and you just think. While I'm reading
- 20:01Speaker 1: AKA War and the other ones, obviously, I don't think
- 20:04Speaker 1: how many I don't think how many chapters are left
- 20:06Speaker 1: in the book, So how many chapters. How many pages
- 20:09Speaker 1: are left in this chapter? I think, I don't want
- 20:11Speaker 1: this chapter to end so much juicy shit's just always happen.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I have the opposite end of your thinking process is
- 20:17Speaker 3: you read it so quickly, why don't you savor it
- 20:19Speaker 3: and read it slower and like.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Enjoy it, like each like two chapters at a time.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It's like.
- 20:25Speaker 3: No, no, no no. It's like you've just charged through
- 20:27Speaker 3: your whole chocolate bar and you've added before like the
- 20:29Speaker 3: movies even started.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I would say the way I here you go. You
- 20:34Speaker 1: sit down to watch a movie. You're watching the pre
- 20:38Speaker 1: what do they call prelude? The ads? You're watching the ads? Right,
- 20:43Speaker 1: you've got your popcorn? How many times have you finished
- 20:45Speaker 1: popcorn before the movie starts? I don't get popcorn? Oh
- 20:49Speaker 1: what do you get? Just like snacks? Do you ever
- 20:51Speaker 1: finish them before the movie starts?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Oh?
- 20:53Speaker 1: Well, it's a widely known thing that people finish their
- 20:55Speaker 1: popcorn before the ads are done, because there's so many
- 20:57Speaker 1: ads and you can't stop yourself from the popcorn. You
- 21:00Speaker 1: start with one control. Do you sit down? So you
- 21:03Speaker 1: sit down? You've got your popcorn there? You had to start,
- 21:07Speaker 1: You think, I just have one, just one at a time.
- 21:09Speaker 1: It's like macis fries right, one a time, and these
- 21:12Speaker 1: tark on I.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Understand two or three, and you starts shoveling that shit
- 21:16Speaker 3: in your mouth and you just can't stop the salt,
- 21:17Speaker 3: and you just you want to finish it all and
- 21:19Speaker 3: then have a fucking sippy Pepsy Max.
- 21:22Speaker 1: When I'm reading Akawar, it's exactly I cannot control myself.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I genuinely cannot fucking control myself. It's insane. And so
- 21:34Speaker 1: basically what I've done is I've started reading a book
- 21:37Speaker 1: called One Dark Window. Suggested to me it's a two
- 21:40Speaker 1: book series. There's no more coming out, so I can
- 21:42Speaker 1: smash through them, be done with that series. And I
- 21:46Speaker 1: asked for books that are good but would most likely
- 21:49Speaker 1: not be good for the podcast. This book's fucking sick.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It's probably not good for the podcast because there's only two.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know, but I think like if I
- 21:58Speaker 1: knew what the book was like, I would have said
- 22:01Speaker 1: no podcast for sure, because the fact that it's two
- 22:03Speaker 1: books is like kind of cool because you get from
- 22:05Speaker 1: a start to a conclusion within maybe two months. Because
- 22:08Speaker 1: they're just ever so slightly shorter than they're like the
- 22:10Speaker 1: same length as akatar In Akamath and Aka war Along. Yeah,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and dude, they're fucking's like so far, it's actually pretty
- 22:18Speaker 1: sick and it's the magic systems hechnic blah blah blah
- 22:20Speaker 1: blah blah. But I was thinking, I can't come on
- 22:22Speaker 1: here and start doing a book club on the main
- 22:24Speaker 1: episode because that defeats purpose of us having a book club.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I rekaony, do it on your ig. Yes, I'm going
- 22:28Speaker 1: to start making the VISI on my idea, I think,
- 22:29Speaker 1: And I've made a fable. I've got a fable account.
- 22:32Speaker 1: My name is the fourth bat Boy, and my group
- 22:34Speaker 1: is called Residents of Vlarus. So go join my fable.
- 22:38Speaker 1: The one thing I'm concerned about is I know you
- 22:42Speaker 1: as a person, and you get addicted to things for
- 22:45Speaker 1: a very very short period of time. So I'm wondering
- 22:49Speaker 1: if this one will last. So that's what I was
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm praying it like because it went the gym, yeah, surfing, Yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 1: golf surfing was first surfing gym. They're gone.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Oh the gym's kind of there still now the gym
- 23:02Speaker 3: I'm still going completely gone.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, surfing's gone. Go and the book club is
- 23:07Speaker 1: the new thing, well book club? Yeah, but what else
- 23:09Speaker 1: have I done? I don't know what else I've done,
- 23:12Speaker 1: but I love it. I've been camping. I've been camping
- 23:16Speaker 1: for a long time. No, really a phase. I liked camping.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You got rid of that when you got read of
- 23:20Speaker 1: your car? True, Yeah, I just don't have anything to
- 23:22Speaker 1: camp in anymore. So I was thinking about this the
- 23:24Speaker 1: other day and I was like, I don't pray to
- 23:28Speaker 1: God because I'm not religious, but I was the other
- 23:32Speaker 1: day sitting in my computer and I was thinking, like
- 23:34Speaker 1: and I was praying. I was like, I pray my
- 23:37Speaker 1: ADHD brain doesn't just make this a quick little phase, hopefully.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Because it's fantasy and there's so much intricacies to the stories.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I think your ADHD brain is.
- 23:48Speaker 7: What likes it.
- 23:49Speaker 9: You know what.
- 23:50Speaker 1: One reason I think that it's not gonna go away
- 23:53Speaker 1: or it's gonna last a long time is because I
- 23:56Speaker 1: love movies and these are like a movie. Yeah, absolutely
- 24:01Speaker 1: fucking It's funny, Love Hobbit, Lord of the Rings. I
- 24:04Speaker 1: love all that fake fantasy shit.
- 24:06Speaker 3: It's funny because I really think it's came down to
- 24:08Speaker 3: because I'm really enjoying it. As well, maybe not as
- 24:10Speaker 3: much as you, but I still I'm really enjoying. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 3: but prior to this, we talk a lot about frontal
- 24:15Speaker 3: lobe development, and I don't think a year, eight eight
- 24:18Speaker 3: months ago we had the frontal lobe to enjoy such
- 24:21Speaker 3: a story.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think we had the Ah. Maybe it's ego.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Maybe I think our egos were too I don't want
- 24:32Speaker 1: to say too big, but they're in a different place
- 24:34Speaker 1: where I wouldn't have accepted that.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I would like, well, as a young man, young man
- 24:40Speaker 3: who doesn't know a lot about the world, you're.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Like fairy porn. Yeah, you're like, yeah, you're like, oh no,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm not going to listen to I'm not gonna watch that.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I'm going to read that. And also I thought fairy
- 24:50Speaker 1: was like a little fucking thing with fucking tinker our Yeah, legit.
- 24:54Speaker 3: But I think it's just being It's also it's a
- 24:56Speaker 3: combination of where it's like our mass and feminine sides,
- 25:01Speaker 3: and we've learnt how both like are equal and opposite
- 25:05Speaker 3: and you need both of them to be a man.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And I think that comes even not to simple thing
- 25:09Speaker 3: of reading a book. Masculine and feminine energies. A lot
- 25:11Speaker 3: of men think the masculine traits are very poor. No,
- 25:15Speaker 3: that yeah, and I think we last eighteen months front
- 25:17Speaker 3: of low masculine female energies, like it's really come into fruition.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I still stand by the fact that no one has
- 25:25Speaker 1: suggested these books for the storyline. Why why I still
- 25:28Speaker 1: think that's a secret. Well, it must be a secret.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Why is no one? It's barely porn. It's barely porn.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I was reading the other day on the stairs at
- 25:37Speaker 3: the gym and I felt hot, Yeah, bit of sexy.
- 25:40Speaker 3: It wasn't a sexy came on and I felt hot, yeah,
- 25:42Speaker 3: felt a bit naughty someone next to me.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I was like, I don't know if I should be
- 25:45Speaker 1: next to anyone.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I've listened to the gym and a couple of times,
- 25:46Speaker 3: and I just think this is one of those prime
- 25:49Speaker 3: moments where you know people are thinking, he's.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Probably just listening to the hip hop or something.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Not at all.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I mean, to be fair, I was gonna say, it's
- 26:00Speaker 1: not I'm listening to a fucking ten out of ten stories,
- 26:04Speaker 1: Sarah J.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Matt, I'm lost in pretty okay, But up next, guys,
- 26:09Speaker 3: is ig Question of the Week and we've got something
- 26:13Speaker 3: a little bit different. So this is tell us what
- 26:16Speaker 3: he did, and we'll tell you if it's boyfriend or
- 26:19Speaker 3: situationship energy.
- 26:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So there's a lot of actions that men have done
- 26:25Speaker 3: in like said stage, boyfriend or situationship, and we're going
- 26:29Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of them. Do you want
- 26:31Speaker 3: me to go first or you you go first? Okay,
- 26:35Speaker 3: tell us something he did. He told me it's ordinary
- 26:39Speaker 3: to love the beautiful, but it's beautiful to love the ordinary.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I want to can we change situationship to fuck boys?
- 26:50Speaker 1: I feel like we can add that in there.
- 26:52Speaker 3: That's something a fuck boy would say. Oh, I was
- 26:57Speaker 3: thinking the opposite of that. It's ordinary to the beautiful,
- 27:01Speaker 3: but it's beautiful to.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Love the ordinary. It's giving boy. That's red Marcus Aurelia. Yeah, bro, Well,
- 27:08Speaker 1: but if he's actually telling the truth, it's kind of
- 27:11Speaker 1: like boyfriends. It's on the fence. But I think it's
- 27:14Speaker 1: slightly too cringe. That's fuck boys.
- 27:16Speaker 3: I just think that because it's so unoriginal. Yes, no,
- 27:19Speaker 3: no one's gonna people don't think like that cliche.
- 27:23Speaker 1: It seems to be. Yeah, that's like a very He
- 27:25Speaker 1: definitely saw that somewhere. He definitely didn't come up with
- 27:27Speaker 1: that because it's not original. I'm gonna go with fun
- 27:30Speaker 1: boy because he's trying to sweep.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Right, Okay, we'll add that in there, dy boys in there.
- 27:37Speaker 1: And again, the cool thing about this, right is so
- 27:39Speaker 1: we said, we asked everyone tell us something that he did.
- 27:42Speaker 1: So we said, we'll give our opinions of one of
- 27:44Speaker 1: those boyfriend energy situationship an energy, and we're going to
- 27:47Speaker 1: add fun boy energy. The the cool thing is they
- 27:50Speaker 1: didn't tell us that it was their like if it
- 27:53Speaker 1: was their boyfriend they said it, or their situationship that
- 27:56Speaker 1: said it. And so the funny thing is is some
- 27:58Speaker 1: of these things could have been said by a situation
- 28:00Speaker 1: and we're going to say it's boyfriend energy, and they're
- 28:01Speaker 1: going to be thinking, well, why hasn't he asked me
- 28:03Speaker 1: to be his girlfriend?
- 28:04Speaker 9: Then?
- 28:04Speaker 1: And the same goes for if it's something a guy
- 28:06Speaker 1: said and we said and it's a boyfriend and but
- 28:08Speaker 1: he we're like that situationship energy. This girl's gonna be thinking,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I don't want to get anyone, you know, spiraling, but
- 28:13Speaker 1: I also want to get people thinking.
- 28:15Speaker 3: But it's also good because the people who sent these
- 28:16Speaker 3: in sometimes do spial, especially in situationship scenarios. Yeah, and
- 28:21Speaker 3: we are like a third point of view who can
- 28:24Speaker 3: tell the honest truth. And normally people around you have
- 28:27Speaker 3: to be nice and beat around the bush, but we can.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Just be like, hey, he's a fuck boy. That's a
- 28:31Speaker 1: good point. Yeah, okay, so he took me to five
- 28:38Speaker 1: of his friend's weddings. Five boyfriend material for sure, boyfriend
- 28:45Speaker 1: energy for sure. I would say one's borderline even one.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I think it's such a personable thing. I think taking
- 28:50Speaker 1: someone to a wedding, well in movies. I know, life
- 28:56Speaker 1: isn't a movie, but for some reason, maybe it's an
- 29:00Speaker 1: American thing or different family type thing, but you get
- 29:04Speaker 1: invited to a wedding, and quite often I think traditionally
- 29:08Speaker 1: you go to something like that with someone. Yeah, but traditionally,
- 29:13Speaker 1: so I we're not traditional anymore, but traditionally you go
- 29:16Speaker 1: to something like that with a date. So I think
- 29:20Speaker 1: sometimes it's actually not uncommon to just ask someone, say
- 29:23Speaker 1: someone you've been on two dates with you go, hey,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I get my friend's wedding, would you like to be
- 29:28Speaker 1: my plus one?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Also date contradictory of that, though, like I see, a
- 29:31Speaker 3: wedding is such a personal thing, and like I only
- 29:34Speaker 3: want people actually know yeah or like have met. I
- 29:37Speaker 3: don't want some randy here, like it's oh yeah, this
- 29:39Speaker 3: is my date.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Who the fuck's at. I wouldn't go to a good
- 29:42Speaker 1: friends whe for like a third date. No, no, no, no, personally,
- 29:47Speaker 1: but some people do. I do think it's an American thing.
- 29:49Speaker 9: I do.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Also, I feel like their weddings would be fucking huge.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Everything's bigger in Texas.
- 29:57Speaker 1: That's very true. But I'm going to say, this is boyfriend.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, tell us something he did sent me
- 30:05Speaker 3: a picture of himself on the toilet with the catch
- 30:08Speaker 3: just caption hashtag birthing, Oh boyfriend, Yeah, that's boyfriend energy,
- 30:14Speaker 3: confident boyfriend.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Birthing. Yeah, taking a ship and sending a photo to
- 30:20Speaker 1: someone and saying birthing is crazy. He couldn't do that
- 30:23Speaker 1: in the situationship stage. She would run. Definitely could not
- 30:28Speaker 1: do that. But he got way too comfortable, way too quick.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's fucking fine. Do you remember did
- 30:35Speaker 1: our friend group grow through a phase where they started
- 30:37Speaker 1: sending video like a photo of our ships to our group? Yeah?
- 30:41Speaker 7: I do.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I feel like I think it was in the mix
- 30:44Speaker 3: of COVID yeah for some reason I remember, and everyone
- 30:48Speaker 3: was like, yeah, good one.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Photos of big ones getting sent in it's so gross. Okay,
- 30:57Speaker 1: tell us something he did. Well, tell you if it's
- 31:00Speaker 1: boyfriend energy, situations, your energy, or fuck boy energy. Unfollowed
- 31:06Speaker 1: every girl on Insta when we started dating didn't even.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Have to ask boyfriend's boyfriend boyfriend. Yeah, that's a good man,
- 31:16Speaker 3: especially because she didn't have to ask.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, just randomly calls me just to hear me.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Ooh here you what voice? Yeah, randomly calls you just
- 31:29Speaker 1: to hear you. I'm gonna say boyfriend. And the reason
- 31:34Speaker 1: I say yeah, that's boyfriend energy regardless, because that's kind
- 31:38Speaker 1: of another level of saying. That's like saying that your
- 31:42Speaker 1: voice calms me, your voice makes me feel Goodah, soothing.
- 31:47Speaker 1: That's something a boyfriend should be doing, so he better
- 31:49Speaker 1: be making it official.
- 31:50Speaker 9: Girl.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Okay, he said he loved me after the first date.
- 31:57Speaker 8: Ye.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I don't think that's boyfriend material, love bomb. I think
- 32:01Speaker 1: that's break up material. It is.
- 32:04Speaker 3: I understanding if someone said that to me on a
- 32:06Speaker 3: first date, I'm like, oh, okay, yeah, imagine how nice
- 32:09Speaker 3: to meet you. You watched you watched our mate my mother. Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 3: Ted Mosby, Yeah he did that.
- 32:14Speaker 1: On the first day. He runs back to a restaurant,
- 32:15Speaker 1: picks up that blue trumpet, steals that shit, gives it
- 32:18Speaker 1: a robin.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's like, I love you well yeah, and
- 32:21Speaker 3: then for fucking nine seasons nothing happens between.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I feel like every friendship group has a friend like
- 32:27Speaker 1: Ted Moseby.
- 32:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Who's the house we know? Becan't I think I can?
- 32:33Speaker 1: I know definitely who you think it is. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: I know who I think it is. Is it different?
- 32:38Speaker 7: No?
- 32:38Speaker 1: No, no, no no, I just think that we may
- 32:40Speaker 1: have more than one.
- 32:43Speaker 3: It's cute but also cringe. All right, tell us something
- 32:47Speaker 3: he did. He offered to wipe my running nose on
- 32:50Speaker 3: his T shirt when I didn't have a tissue.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Oh boyfriend energy?
- 32:54Speaker 8: Yeah? Is it though?
- 32:58Speaker 1: Why wouldn't it be new boyfriend energy? New boyfriend, new boyfriend?
- 33:02Speaker 1: And you wouldn't do that?
- 33:03Speaker 8: Now?
- 33:03Speaker 7: Fuck? No? Really?
- 33:05Speaker 1: Best you want to wipe your want on me? You're
- 33:08Speaker 1: snort on my T shirt? How wout I teach you
- 33:10Speaker 1: how to fucking snot rocket? Jesus Christ, bet what are
- 33:13Speaker 1: you talking about? Let just walk into a macasine, get
- 33:16Speaker 1: a napkin, you're not doing that ship. I see you're thinking.
- 33:21Speaker 7: That.
- 33:23Speaker 1: True. True, True. It's funny too, because when me and
- 33:26Speaker 1: Cassie go running like I can snot rock it on
- 33:28Speaker 1: the go, same Cassie can't. She has to stop and
- 33:32Speaker 1: she doesn't want to get obviously she doesn't want to get.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I don't mind a bit of snot goes on my
- 33:35Speaker 1: T shirt when I'm running, on my face, wipe it off.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah I'm already sweaty. But she stops and I'm like, od,
- 33:39Speaker 3: it's so cute the way she does it.
- 33:41Speaker 7: That so.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Okay. He noticed I shortened my nails.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Wants to be boyfriend or his boyfriend. At tentative, I
- 33:54Speaker 3: would say, yeah, that's that's boyfriend. Yeah that's really good.
- 33:57Speaker 3: That's a tough thing to notice too. Sure of the nails, Yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 3: I would.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I believe I would consider it bare minimum. And I
- 34:08Speaker 1: shouldn't be saying this, but I would be impressed if
- 34:10Speaker 1: someone noticed the change of color and nails. Cassie recently
- 34:14Speaker 1: got a different shade of red. I didn't notice. Yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: of course, but are you kidding? And I was like, fuck,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I should have got that. Beth came back the other
- 34:24Speaker 1: day with new nails, and she she told me she
- 34:26Speaker 1: shortened them, and I was like, wonderful. I didn't even
- 34:28Speaker 1: as soon as she came in, ooka shorten him anything.
- 34:32Speaker 1: It's good when they do that. You didn't have to
- 34:34Speaker 1: notice a thing.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Okay, okay, tell us something. He did a booty tap
- 34:40Speaker 3: at the gym, respectful and discreet.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Okay. So obviously she's seeing this guy. He could be
- 34:47Speaker 1: her boyfriend, or he could be her situationship. And he
- 34:50Speaker 1: did a little booty tap at the gym. Boyfriend. Yeah,
- 34:52Speaker 1: boy I'm going boyfriend. I think too much confidence. Situationship. Yeah, boyfriend.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Situationship wouldn't do that. And if he's doing that, and
- 34:58Speaker 1: it's the right to be asking you to his boyfriend.
- 35:00Speaker 1: If he's still in that situations he needs to write
- 35:02Speaker 1: like a consent form before he does it or something. Yeah, okay,
- 35:08Speaker 1: only asks to see me on weekdays. He's never free
- 35:14Speaker 1: on weekends. Oh that's the opposite of what I thought
- 35:18Speaker 1: you were going to say. What's he doing on the weekend.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I have a theory. Is he going out and fucking?
- 35:27Speaker 1: I have a theory here?
- 35:28Speaker 7: What is it?
- 35:31Speaker 1: I think you might be his side piece? Yeah, oh,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I've heard his girlfriend before, doesn't live with her yet. Okay,
- 35:38Speaker 1: he's got a girlfriend, doesn't live there. Yeah, so during
- 35:40Speaker 1: the week he's busy at work, they don't see each other. Yeah,
- 35:42Speaker 1: twenty minutes thirty minute drive apart from each other, so
- 35:44Speaker 1: maybe they don't see each other. They're both busy. So
- 35:47Speaker 1: during the week he does what he pleases. Yeah, the
- 35:51Speaker 1: weekend is with his girlfriend. You're his old reliable during
- 35:53Speaker 1: the week. I don't know. I could be.
- 35:57Speaker 3: He could be making you would think it's almost the
- 35:59Speaker 3: other way around, like the that you're with your girlfriend
- 36:02Speaker 3: on the week Yeah, and the weekends for the side,
- 36:05Speaker 3: I'm going to say that's fuck boy.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't like that, Like you shouldn't have a
- 36:10Speaker 3: time restraint on when you hang out. You should have
- 36:12Speaker 3: seen when you want to see. Yeah, okay, tell us
- 36:16Speaker 3: something he did added me to his close friends when
- 36:20Speaker 3: we just met.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Fuck boy. Really, I think fuck boy, because I think
- 36:29Speaker 1: you're the only one in there too.
- 36:33Speaker 3: A lot of guys don't have close friends and they
- 36:35Speaker 3: just add like a girl. It's funny how you can
- 36:37Speaker 3: have a close friends they just have one person on that.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Guys don't have close friends. It's a crazy one neither.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I don't know how to do it. Neither do I. Yeah,
- 36:43Speaker 1: I literally don't know how to do Sometimes it suggested
- 36:45Speaker 1: joint puts in your close friends. I'm like, where's it going,
- 36:47Speaker 1: I don't have any friends. I'll just send it to Addie.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I'll just stuff that would stuff that people normally put
- 36:55Speaker 1: on their close friends. I just put on my story. Yeah,
- 36:57Speaker 1: who has that many friends to have close friends? Actually
- 37:00Speaker 1: about it? Just fucking put it out to the world. Okay.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I see stuff in close friends and think that was
- 37:06Speaker 1: actually funny. Show all your followers. Yeah, my sister does
- 37:10Speaker 1: it all the time. I feel like having a close
- 37:12Speaker 1: friends is asking for attention. I don't know why. I'm sorry,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I don't know. Hot take. That's a hot take. I
- 37:16Speaker 1: do agree. I don't know why I feel that way.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I actually have nothing to back it up.
- 37:19Speaker 3: But I feel as though having a close friends story
- 37:21Speaker 3: on Instagram for some reason is asking for attention.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And I don't know what I see it. I see it. Okay,
- 37:30Speaker 1: he said good night at eight pm, but he was
- 37:33Speaker 1: online to two a m. Two am. Fuck boy, Yeah he.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Could be boyfriend, like playing video games. He's fucking around
- 37:45Speaker 3: to be fair, like I get off my phone at eight.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Oh no, but I just like watch TV and I'll
- 37:50Speaker 1: occasionally go on to like check the littlest thing, but
- 37:53Speaker 1: then I go to to ten. Sometimes I will say, so,
- 37:57Speaker 1: now I live with Beth, I don't ever do it,
- 37:58Speaker 1: But when we didn't live together, I would say good night,
- 38:03Speaker 1: knowing that honestly, because I'm about to go to bed
- 38:07Speaker 1: in maybe thirty minutes. Right, I know I'm about to
- 38:08Speaker 1: be asleep in thirty minutes, and I say good night.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure she does this too, right, Because now I.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Want uninterrupted Yeah exactly, I'm saying that because I don't
- 38:19Speaker 3: want to.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 38:19Speaker 3: I don't want to keep texting you. I love you,
- 38:21Speaker 3: but I want uninterrupted time. You've got a half an
- 38:24Speaker 3: hour time gap. I've got about an hour, okay, he's
- 38:26Speaker 3: got what's that six hours eight am too.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That's six hours eight pm, eight pm to two am
- 38:35Speaker 1: and six hours. Yeah shit, yeah, I think that's fuck boy. Yeah,
- 38:39Speaker 1: he's out doing something. Tell us what he did? Held
- 38:45Speaker 1: me down and farted in my face. I'm gonna go boyfriend.
- 38:55Speaker 1: If he's not boyfriend, called the police. Please, either boyfriend
- 39:01Speaker 1: or brother? Did you do that with Jonah. Yeah, I
- 39:06Speaker 1: mean I'll fight around her and ship and then I
- 39:08Speaker 1: get pissed off when she fast. Okay, made dinner. But
- 39:17Speaker 1: he knows I have less than a month left in
- 39:20Speaker 1: town and we only started hanging out recently. Oh now
- 39:25Speaker 1: he just wants the fuck. Yeah, boy boy, he was
- 39:27Speaker 1: again in your pants. He knows.
- 39:29Speaker 3: He's like, I've got to get out jail free card.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I'm gonna be boyfriend until she leaves. Get everything, boyfriend.
- 39:36Speaker 3: All I want is a girlfriend for a month.
- 39:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Win, not for you though, Okay, tell us what he
- 39:42Speaker 1: did introduce me to his dog. Woit I think that
- 39:49Speaker 1: that's boyfriend would personally yea because of how high up
- 39:53Speaker 1: I hold my dog. I think most people do. Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 1: I put Henry up on. Like the other day, for instance,
- 40:01Speaker 1: Beth's younger sister, she went to our house to check
- 40:04Speaker 1: on the dogs because they were there for eight hours
- 40:07Speaker 1: alone and they're fine. But if she has the chance
- 40:09Speaker 1: to do it, we like to just let her go
- 40:10Speaker 1: see high to them. So then they see someone. Dra
- 40:12Speaker 1: other day and Beth said that the guy that her
- 40:16Speaker 1: younger sister is seeing came with her and this guy
- 40:20Speaker 1: said the first time Henry was meeting him.
- 40:23Speaker 8: I don't like this guy.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I've met him once and had him before. He has
- 40:29Speaker 1: Oh lucky. I was gonna say, came into the house unannounced. No, no, no,
- 40:32Speaker 1: we weren't there. Yeah, Caitlyn brought in and so I
- 40:36Speaker 1: was mad at Caitlyn. I was like, Kenn, what are
- 40:38Speaker 1: you doing, Henry? Why is this guy get the privilege
- 40:44Speaker 1: of meeting Henry if he's not even gonna ask you
- 40:45Speaker 1: to be his fucking girlfriend? I see, I see. It's
- 40:48Speaker 1: a bunch of bullshit.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Brother, Yeah, and I don't care about saying it all
- 40:52Speaker 3: out here. This guy needs to be called out the
- 40:54Speaker 3: fucking left, right and center.
- 40:55Speaker 1: That type of guy wouldn't listen to this podcast. No,
- 40:57Speaker 1: he wouldn't. He can get fun.
- 41:00Speaker 8: Hear that.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Caitlyn. You know she doesn't listen any Sometimes her mom does.
- 41:09Speaker 1: And it's scary. It's scary knowing that. I feel like that. Okay,
- 41:14Speaker 1: he bought me an eight dollar came up candle for
- 41:16Speaker 1: my birthday? How old is she? Hope she's hopefully she's
- 41:22Speaker 1: like twelve eight dollars. Hopefully this is like a year
- 41:25Speaker 1: six relationship, because I would say he's a good if
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's under the age of fourteen, good boyfriend, his mom
- 41:35Speaker 1: bought it. Anything older than that, I would say, run
- 41:39Speaker 1: girl and came. I say, that's fucking that's abysmal energy.
- 41:43Speaker 1: That's a great ideaund partner's next birthday as a piss take.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I have really good presence hidden. Just get some terrible
- 41:50Speaker 1: eight dollar candle. I told Bet the other day that
- 41:53Speaker 1: I already got her birthday present. She goes, what is it?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Where is it? I'm gonna go And I told her
- 41:56Speaker 1: it's here. Yeah, it's a digital thing. But I should
- 42:03Speaker 1: rock on her birthday, should wake up. I should give
- 42:05Speaker 1: you a candy. I can even go shit away like
- 42:10Speaker 1: something worse.
- 42:12Speaker 3: This is what I'm talking Aboutally goes like soap or
- 42:14Speaker 3: something that's like custom made soap or something customs.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Kind of cute.
- 42:20Speaker 3: All right, I got one or two more. Tell us
- 42:23Speaker 3: something he did. He got into a car crash and
- 42:26Speaker 3: called me first.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Boyfriend. Yeah, yeah, boyfriend, man, definitely boyfriend.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Have you had the sort of the stage in your
- 42:34Speaker 3: relationship Probably unconsciously did it. You've ever been like signing
- 42:37Speaker 3: up to a gym wave and it's like next of kin. Yeah,
- 42:40Speaker 3: I used to do like Michael Clark, my dad or
- 42:43Speaker 3: always did my dad, and now I'm like, oh, I
- 42:48Speaker 3: bet as my emergency contact.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Where one time I did you as my emergency contact.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Sometimes I do you and then write my own number
- 42:55Speaker 3: because I can't I go if I put you down,
- 42:59Speaker 3: I looking for your number sometimes like if it's.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Something stupid, I'm not going to die. I'm like, yes,
- 43:03Speaker 1: write down my own number again. Annoying something. Okay, he
- 43:10Speaker 1: gave his rolex to me to ensure that he will
- 43:13Speaker 1: talk to me after his two months long boy's trip.
- 43:19Speaker 1: The thinking process of some dudes.
- 43:23Speaker 3: It's like coming back on promise when I feel though,
- 43:26Speaker 3: when I feel like I want to cheat on you,
- 43:29Speaker 3: I'm just gonna remember you have my rolex.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what how did you think that was a good idea?
- 43:36Speaker 15: It's crazy, Well, it's obviously, I actually do think it's
- 43:41Speaker 15: boyfriend energy. No no, no no no no no no
- 43:44Speaker 15: no no no, like very stupid dumb boyfriend energy. Like
- 43:49Speaker 15: if we're talking about energies, it's like someone i'd want
- 43:51Speaker 15: to break up with, the thinking.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Of it is still boyfriend energy. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 43:59Speaker 3: I got one last one. Tell us something he did
- 44:01Speaker 3: brush my hair whilst watching Task Master Boyfriend.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good show. Is it kind of funny? Actually,
- 44:07Speaker 1: the British one is quite funny. The New Zealand also
- 44:12Speaker 1: randomly is also very funny. Oh, I don't know why.
- 44:15Speaker 1: The New Zealand one is just like really good. That's
- 44:17Speaker 1: the accents and the ship they do. But it's a
- 44:19Speaker 1: weird concept of a show. I haven't seen it. It's
- 44:22Speaker 1: like basically get they get comedians in that's why it's funny,
- 44:24Speaker 1: and they get them to do tasks, random, super difficult tasks.
- 44:28Speaker 1: You probably see videos of Si on Facebook and they
- 44:32Speaker 1: just do these tasks and they compete and the fuck
- 44:35Speaker 1: they're honestly so funny. Okay, it's weird. It's definitely boyfriend
- 44:37Speaker 1: if it's like that. Okay, my last one flew to
- 44:40Speaker 1: Sydney to see him. He got so drunk the night
- 44:43Speaker 1: before he forgot to pick.
- 44:44Speaker 9: Me up.
- 44:48Speaker 1: That man. Never see him ever again. Fucking.

- 45:48Speaker 13: we talked all night.
- 45:55Speaker 8: Holding on.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Dance guys. Let's uh, let's do a dilemma and one
- 46:04Speaker 1: and then to check in after. Okay, actually, okay, I
- 46:06Speaker 1: know I want to go first on dilemmas, so I've
- 46:09Speaker 1: got an update from one if you want to submit
- 46:12Speaker 1: a dilemma. We actually got a lot last week. I
- 46:15Speaker 1: was going through to the.
- 46:17Speaker 8: Holy Moly.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry about for three weeks. The link got expired
- 46:22Speaker 3: for some reason, so I put it on the answer story.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Hopefully it's all working again. But yeah, linked the description
- 46:26Speaker 1: or on Instagram you go to our Lincoln bio, scroll
- 46:29Speaker 1: down to the bottom confessions. You can add a confession.
- 46:31Speaker 1: It's all anonymous. The instant one always works let's go okay.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Quote we'll not quote more of a title. I dumped him, Yes,
- 46:39Speaker 1: we love that. So quick update about the man that
- 46:41Speaker 1: said I love you, but I'm not in love with you.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Remember that, I do remember. I gave myself a few
- 46:47Speaker 1: weeks to process what he said and what I was
- 46:49Speaker 1: willing to deal with and not in a relationship. I
- 46:53Speaker 1: don't really know, I must have. After a few discussions
- 46:56Speaker 1: about it, I went with my gut and was going
- 46:59Speaker 1: to break up with him after he got back from
- 47:00Speaker 1: a Bucks weekend we had discussed prior. My one boundary
- 47:04Speaker 1: for the weekend was that I was okay with him
- 47:07Speaker 1: going to a strip club, but I didn't want him
- 47:09Speaker 1: paying for a lap dance. Fast forward, He paid for
- 47:12Speaker 1: a lap dance, told me, and I took your advice
- 47:14Speaker 1: and broke up with him over text. Lol. Fast forward
- 47:18Speaker 1: to now rekindled an old flame that the universe has
- 47:22Speaker 1: brought back to me. We met at eighteen and we're
- 47:25Speaker 1: now twenty five. Who lives in Sydney and I'm in Yapoon,
- 47:28Speaker 1: So have booked tickets to Sydney for a long, sexy weekend.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Don't let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband.
- 47:34Speaker 1: See you there boys. Oh, so see you boys their
- 47:36Speaker 1: XX because we live in Sydney. I was like, I
- 47:39Speaker 1: don't want to go to that. I was thinking when
- 47:41Speaker 1: I first read this, I was like, I was like, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 47:43Speaker 1: And I was thinking, oh, but hey, if all it
- 47:47Speaker 1: is just a fun sexy weekend.
- 47:49Speaker 12: Go for it.
- 47:49Speaker 8: Nah.
- 47:50Speaker 3: No, I think she might have rekindled something that could
- 47:53Speaker 3: be a future man. I like it and I'm glad
- 47:56Speaker 3: you listen to your gut. Yes, little recap story, she
- 48:01Speaker 3: sent a dilemma and the guy said I.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Love you, but I'm not in love with you.
- 48:05Speaker 8: It was weird.
- 48:05Speaker 3: And then he's been sus about a Bucks night and
- 48:08Speaker 3: she was saying a gut made her feel like she
- 48:10Speaker 3: wanted to break up, and he said do it. Yeah,
- 48:12Speaker 3: trust that which we have shifted gear recently and started
- 48:17Speaker 3: listening to our gut and telling some guys do actually
- 48:20Speaker 3: need to be broken up with when they need a
- 48:21Speaker 3: bit of a kick in the ass, or they're not
- 48:23Speaker 3: doing the bare minimum or not even being a nice
- 48:25Speaker 3: man in general.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm happy for you. You sound super happy. Yep.
- 48:30Speaker 1: It's good to hear the end of the dilemmas because
- 48:32Speaker 1: I like that. We just give advice, and then it's
- 48:35Speaker 1: I've been keen on updates, and if you're going to
- 48:37Speaker 1: do an update, send it to the same place. Yeah,
- 48:39Speaker 1: and just big caps update yeah, and then little just
- 48:42Speaker 1: like update. This was the dilemma. Here's the update. Yeah,
- 48:45Speaker 1: I love the updates. But okay, we'll do my dilemma
- 48:48Speaker 1: and then we'll listen to we'll see where the radio
- 48:50Speaker 1: is at. Okay, boys, I'm dying a bit dramatic and
- 48:55Speaker 1: in need of help asap. I've been with my boyfriend
- 48:58Speaker 1: of almost three years now, but I think I want
- 49:01Speaker 1: to break up with him, although I'm not super sure how.
- 49:10Speaker 1: For a bit of context, I feel like a last
- 49:12Speaker 1: priority all the time. For example, he's currently on an
- 49:16Speaker 1: eight week holiday to Europe with the boys and not me. Oh,
- 49:20Speaker 1: and I feel like he just kind of likes the sex. Okay,
- 49:25Speaker 1: I didn't at the time, but now I think the
- 49:28Speaker 1: time apart has really opened my eyes to some behaviors
- 49:32Speaker 1: and I low key miss being single in brackets perhaps
- 49:35Speaker 1: toxic toxic of me. Here's the kicker. We are planning
- 49:39Speaker 1: to move overseas together at the end of the year
- 49:41Speaker 1: with some other people as and everything is paid and booked.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Fuck that.
- 49:49Speaker 3: If you're ever having the thought that you want to
- 49:52Speaker 3: break up with someone even though he is a dog
- 49:54Speaker 3: and he's gone on an eight week boy's trip, he
- 49:57Speaker 3: deserves to be broken up with and not being a
- 50:00Speaker 3: relationship where someone is thinking that having those doubts.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I guess, actually, how do you feel about so when
- 50:08Speaker 1: you're in a relationship they've been together for three years?
- 50:12Speaker 1: Because I think, definitely you need to be able to
- 50:14Speaker 1: have time apart and be able to go do things
- 50:16Speaker 1: with your friends. But for some reason, I do see
- 50:19Speaker 1: an eight week trip to Europe with just your mates.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I kind of think, reading between the lines, that's crazy.
- 50:28Speaker 3: I think that's the same. I think that's kind of wild,
- 50:30Speaker 3: Like eight weeks, it's weird. I think, like thinking back
- 50:36Speaker 3: to when I was like eighteen, nine and twenty, that's
- 50:38Speaker 3: something I might have done.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, been like I need to do this with the boys, yea,
- 50:41Speaker 1: yeah yeah now and yeah exactly just with me, but yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 1: I was just with you.
- 50:49Speaker 3: But now my mindset would be even if I still
- 50:52Speaker 3: had a really close knit group of friends who were
- 50:55Speaker 3: going into Europe, I'll be like, oh, I want to
- 50:57Speaker 3: go to Europe for I'm going to go two weeks
- 50:59Speaker 3: with them, and do you want to meet me over
- 51:00Speaker 3: and we'll.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Do the other six weeks together.
- 51:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I think that there's things where even let's say, you know,
- 51:05Speaker 3: very far out of it, you know, they're talking about
- 51:07Speaker 3: the trip and say, you and I want to go
- 51:10Speaker 3: on this big long trip or whatever, and then we
- 51:13Speaker 3: ask our girlfriends to come, and they're like, oh.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I would love to blah blah blah blah blah meh,
- 51:17Speaker 1: but like just for some reason they couldn't. I would
- 51:19Speaker 1: understand if it was something you really wanted to do
- 51:21Speaker 1: with them, and then maybe you and I go Okay,
- 51:23Speaker 1: fuck it, well we'll go just here together, and then
- 51:26Speaker 1: how could you come for just this small amount of
- 51:29Speaker 1: time and we'll meet up blah blah blah blah, like
- 51:30Speaker 1: we're trying to work something out, but not even being invited. Yeah,
- 51:33Speaker 1: not being invited. I think that's crazy. After being together
- 51:36Speaker 1: for three years, even.
- 51:38Speaker 3: That thought of he just likes the sex, it's probably
- 51:40Speaker 3: right then if you're having that thought true, if you
- 51:43Speaker 3: feel like he's just there because like it's using you
- 51:45Speaker 3: for sex, then yeah, I think that's Yeah, it's not
- 51:48Speaker 3: very nice at all. And well her dilemma is she's
- 51:52Speaker 3: This is really really relatable because when you're in a relationship,
- 51:54Speaker 3: you book things in events, and she's obviously put a
- 51:57Speaker 3: lot of money down to.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Move overseas well.
- 52:00Speaker 3: The question firstly is still you still do you want
- 52:02Speaker 3: to do that being single or without him? But I
- 52:06Speaker 3: think if you don't want to move overseas, fuck it,
- 52:08Speaker 3: cut your losses. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've always said five
- 52:10Speaker 3: ten thousand dollars, fuck it. You can make a back
- 52:12Speaker 3: who cares whoever booked it. Also, if he's a nice guy,
- 52:15Speaker 3: do it on amicable terms. He hopefully will be like,
- 52:18Speaker 3: all right, let's get a refund for what we can.
- 52:21Speaker 3: He might not want to go either. Yeah, probably can't
- 52:22Speaker 3: get some flights and stuff, and you'll lose a couple
- 52:24Speaker 3: thousand dollars. But I think your piece is much more
- 52:28Speaker 3: important than five ten thousand dollars. I prefer to lose
- 52:31Speaker 3: ten grand and be happy, then make then make that
- 52:36Speaker 3: ten grand worth it.
- 52:37Speaker 1: And be unhappy. Yeah, when you say it out loud,
- 52:40Speaker 1: it sounds pretty obvious, right, And never stand in a
- 52:42Speaker 1: relationship for monetary reasons. Yeah at all? I think how
- 52:48Speaker 1: does she do it? He's over seas for a weeks.
- 52:51Speaker 1: M hmm, chicky face time. I don't know what do
- 52:55Speaker 1: you do? Like, do you want it to be over
- 52:57Speaker 1: and done with?
- 52:57Speaker 7: Now?
- 52:57Speaker 1: You just wait till he gets home and just say
- 53:00Speaker 1: I've been thinking about things. The thing about with a
- 53:02Speaker 1: breakup is sometimes I think you don't need a reason,
- 53:04Speaker 1: but people always demand a reason.
- 53:06Speaker 15: Why?
- 53:06Speaker 7: Why why?
- 53:07Speaker 3: I don't think you need a reason. I mean, simple
- 53:08Speaker 3: as you don't want to be with them anymore. Ah well,
- 53:12Speaker 3: the tough thing here is too though, so spiraling a
- 53:15Speaker 3: little bit. If she does it over the phone, he's
- 53:17Speaker 3: just going to go out and fuck heaps in Europe.
- 53:20Speaker 3: But also then it's over, so then you kind of win.
- 53:23Speaker 3: But also do you owe it to him to do
- 53:26Speaker 3: it in person because it's been three years. But then
- 53:28Speaker 3: also I kind of think in person is probably wait.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so just wait. And also if you wait till
- 53:34Speaker 1: he's home and he's faithful overseas, that means when you
- 53:37Speaker 1: do it in person at home, And because if you
- 53:39Speaker 1: do what overseas, he would go probably try and have
- 53:41Speaker 1: sex with people overseas. And again, if you break up
- 53:45Speaker 1: with him, within his rights, but you can also stop
- 53:48Speaker 1: him from doing.
- 53:48Speaker 3: It petty, because hey, why not he's where for the
- 53:54Speaker 3: girl is so like mentally start checking out now and
- 53:58Speaker 3: then when he gets here, like, yeah, well thanks for
- 54:00Speaker 3: leaving me here eight weeks.
- 54:02Speaker 1: But it made me realize that I don't like it
- 54:04Speaker 1: that much. A eight weeks is so long. Two months,
- 54:07Speaker 1: that's crazy, that's crazy. I think.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Yeah, anything over like two weeks, three weeks, we've had
- 54:12Speaker 3: a contingency plan of how I'm going to see you again,
- 54:16Speaker 3: unless it was like work, if he was with.
- 54:18Speaker 1: His family, it might be different. But with your mates,
- 54:21Speaker 1: the boy with your mates, yeah, I don't know.
- 54:23Speaker 3: I don't know who do you want to hang out
- 54:24Speaker 3: with our friends for that line at all? We're done
- 54:28Speaker 3: after a date because they just get pissed.
- 54:29Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he's just immature.
- 54:32Speaker 3: So I think you're slowly realizing it two girls. So
- 54:34Speaker 3: when you do fully realize it, you'll be like, yeah,
- 54:38Speaker 3: I'm gonna trust my gut and do what.
- 54:39Speaker 9: I know is right.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I think just break up with him, right knowing
- 54:47Speaker 1: like just you need to accept the fact that you
- 54:49Speaker 1: may just lose your money with the trip overseas thing.
- 54:53Speaker 1: But if he's also kind of thinking, oh, you're amicable
- 54:55Speaker 1: about it, and like actually thinking the same thing. Then
- 54:57Speaker 1: you guys can go, well, let's train where you're out
- 54:59Speaker 1: so we can both train it much money back as possible. Yeah,
- 55:01Speaker 1: if if that's the way it goes. But again, just
- 55:02Speaker 1: go into it thinking now I'm probably just gonna take Yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 1: you know what time.
- 55:07Speaker 3: It is, Simon is we're like itching to see where
- 55:09Speaker 3: we're at, Where we are, where we're at, headphones off.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Hopefully it's not over. Oh oh shit, what's next?
- 55:23Speaker 8: Oh I don't know again.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Oh that's what they're up to, you guys. I think
- 55:34Speaker 1: it's gonna be over soon.
- 55:36Speaker 3: We'll try and call Lisa maybe at the end to
- 55:38Speaker 3: give some advice is available, and that I was crazy, Okay,
- 55:43Speaker 3: next dilemma. So long one for you, guys. My ex
- 55:46Speaker 3: boyfriend and I had been together for five years. We
- 55:49Speaker 3: broke up in twenty twenty three due to ongoing struggles.
- 55:52Speaker 3: We ended up getting back together a few months later.
- 55:56Speaker 3: When we had that conversation, I admitted to cheating on him,
- 56:00Speaker 3: and that's why I became more withdrawn in the relationship.
- 56:04Speaker 3: I regret it immensely, and it was a one night
- 56:06Speaker 3: stand with someone I knew. During this conversation, he admitted
- 56:10Speaker 3: sleeping with a prostitute at the start of our relationship.
- 56:14Speaker 3: I accepted this as an equal mistake on both our parts,
- 56:18Speaker 3: as did he. In the end, we broke up in
- 56:20Speaker 3: twenty twenty five because our values and goals weren't aligning,
- 56:23Speaker 3: not because of the cheating, as we had forgiven each other.
- 56:26Speaker 3: For that pause before we get to the actual dilemma bit.
- 56:28Speaker 3: We talked similarly about this of another dilemma on Patreon,
- 56:33Speaker 3: which I think is a very interesting conversation to be had.
- 56:36Speaker 3: So here we go, going forward into new relationships and
- 56:40Speaker 3: into dating scenes. I want to be very honest about
- 56:42Speaker 3: my past mistakes, as I feel like it's a part
- 56:45Speaker 3: of me and my story. It's something I would never
- 56:48Speaker 3: ever do again, as it's caused so much mental distress
- 56:51Speaker 3: and grief. With the guilt I was carrying in brackets,
- 56:54Speaker 3: I cannot understand how people cheat consistently and brackets. So
- 56:57Speaker 3: my dilemma is if someone told you they had cheated
- 57:00Speaker 3: in the past and shared this story, would that make
- 57:03Speaker 3: you trust them less and therefore strain the new relationship
- 57:06Speaker 3: or would you accept them for who they are and
- 57:08Speaker 3: trust that their words are true. Also, when would you
- 57:11Speaker 3: tell something like this in the stages of dating.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Fuck okay, okay, okay, okay, definitely I think honesty best policy, right, Yeah,
- 57:25Speaker 1: how would I feel? Because this has never happened to me,
- 57:28Speaker 1: so I actually don't know what I would feel initially,
- 57:31Speaker 1: but knowing me, I think I would at the time
- 57:36Speaker 1: they tell me, I think I would think, oh shit,
- 57:41Speaker 1: a bit of a bomb drop. Yeah, that's what I
- 57:42Speaker 1: would think, right, And then I would have this feeling
- 57:45Speaker 1: in my stomach of oh, maybe I don't want to
- 57:49Speaker 1: see them. Maybe I don't Maybe I think this is
- 57:50Speaker 1: a bad idea because I would go through that spiral
- 57:52Speaker 1: that everyone would go through, or if they can cheat,
- 57:54Speaker 1: then can they do it again? But then I would
- 57:57Speaker 1: probably I think in the past, asked, I would have
- 58:01Speaker 1: stuck to the unhealthy mindset. But thinking about it now,
- 58:06Speaker 1: I think maybe with growth but a frontal low develpment,
- 58:11Speaker 1: I would probably think, Yeah, people make mistakes all the time.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I don't know what she was going through at the
- 58:17Speaker 1: time or what you know this person was going through
- 58:20Speaker 1: at the time of the cheating, and I would probably
- 58:22Speaker 1: maybe just want to talk to them about it and
- 58:24Speaker 1: be like, oh, I've never been with someone that's done it.
- 58:25Speaker 1: I've never done it. I just want you to know that.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I mean, I obviously don't know your story, and I
- 58:33Speaker 1: would just be like, I just think like I would
- 58:36Speaker 1: definitely give them a chance. I agree. I think it
- 58:39Speaker 1: would be a thing of needing to be I don't know,
- 58:42Speaker 1: maybe just I don't know how to approach it.
- 58:45Speaker 3: I think it's actually a really good way to filter
- 58:48Speaker 3: out shallow men, because, like you said, I had the
- 58:52Speaker 3: same initial reaction where I was like, oh shit, yeah,
- 58:55Speaker 3: shock reaction, and then my first thinking was like, if
- 58:59Speaker 3: she could do it once, you'll do it again. I
- 59:01Speaker 3: think that's what that sort of yeah back in the day, Yeah,
- 59:03Speaker 3: I'm saying, but even more thinking about it, the type
- 59:08Speaker 3: of person and how admirable it is for someone to
- 59:11Speaker 3: own up to that and tell me in confidence is insane,
- 59:16Speaker 3: and if someone can appreciate that, I think it's the right.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Thing to do.
- 59:21Speaker 8: You know what.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I think you saying that if someone has cheated in
- 59:28Speaker 1: a past relationship and they tell someone that they're dating
- 59:35Speaker 1: about the cheating, I actually think that it's a green
- 59:41Speaker 1: flag because someone that has the capability to cheat again
- 59:48Speaker 1: just wouldn't bring it up exactly. Yeah, So I think, oh,
- 59:53Speaker 1: He's right, You're going to filter out a lot of
- 59:54Speaker 1: guys that think very poorly, and you're going to find
- 59:59Speaker 1: a guy that thinks. Oh, I appreciate you for telling
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: me that. Obviously it hurt you a lot to do it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I mean, you hurt someone in the process, but like
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the guilt probably.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Was very she's verbally showing her growth, yeah, and what
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: she's gone through to overcome said thing, yeah, which I
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: think is super admirable and such a green flag.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Like you said, so yeah, I think that, Yes, someone
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: that admits to cheating in the past is actually more
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: inclined to probably not cheat, yeah, because if they if
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: they didn't say it, they'd cheat again or they yeah,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: they might have the capacity to cheat again.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: And in interesting, very interesting, And when do you reckon
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: is a good stage within dating to tell someone that
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: because initial shock value, like we said, is oh shit,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: But you do need time to think about it, and
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: you kind of don't you want like a little bit
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: of rapport there, So definitely not like the first two
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: three dates, I don't think. Okay, when do you start
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: having those like sort of really deep conversations and start
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: opening up about your past and stuff?
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Some people kind of have a pretty quick bite. True.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You know, everyone's different. Some people take a old warm up,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: some people warm up like that. Yeah, So I'm gonna
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: say just literally, whenever you your gut is telling you
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the time is right, whenever you think, Okay, I really
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: like this person, I see it going somewhere, I straight
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: away want to have the chat of I really like you,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Like I'm not dating anyone else, and you know, but
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I want to be one hundredercent honest from a start
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: in the past. Do you just tell them what happened,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Like I've cheated in the past, fucking maybe feel like shit,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: never ever gonna do it again. But I just think
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: that you deserve to know that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I think really listen to your gut and just
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: gauge the conversation, Like every single relationship will be different
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: with each person because those conversations do come up in
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: different stages. So when both of you start opening up
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: about different things, you'll be like, oh, this could be
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: my time. Yeah, don't just do it like randomly over
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: like the start of a dinner.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I'm going back. Actually, is it the wrong thing to
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: also not tell them they don't have a right to
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: know their past?
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: It's not that they Yeah, they don't have the it's
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: not their right to know. But I mean, you you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: telling them is just you being open and notes. But
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: here's my thinking is like, is ignorance bliss? Well, I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: think the devil's advocate.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: By the way, Either way, it's up to the person
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: who's cheated because they could not tell them because they think, oh,
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: they don't need to know. But they also could not
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: tell them because they haven't healed. So depending which one
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: that is, Yeah, because it doesn't really matter because the guy,
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: say in the scenario, is one who is just a
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: new guy.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: He doesn't have deserve to know what Bony means. She's
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: trying to think, yeah, yeah, like is there actually a wrong?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Is there a right and wrong approach?
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Because well, I think in this scenario there isn't a
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: wrong approach because she has healed.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but if some she knows she's not going to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: do it again.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Yeah, she knows, so she can do whatever she wants
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: and she's done the right thing. But someone who's cheated
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: before and is hiding it, and that kind of feels
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: like maybe they'll.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Do it again. Well that's wrong, and he doesn't. Yeah,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: And then doesn't tell anyone that I cheated in the past.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: That's the wrong thing. This is an interesting one. I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: actually i'd like comments on this. I would like to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: know what everyone thinks, like, yeah, definitely the person, the
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: new partner, the new Yeah, they don't have the right
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to know. But what do you think is the right
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: thing to do? Because I'm a little torn. I don't
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: think I would. Yeah, I don't think anything is right
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: or wrong. That's interesting, very interesting. I do think there's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: a right and wrong approach from the person being told though.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: That's what I think is interesting as well. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: the receiver. The receiver, definitely, their reaction could tell you
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: so much. Yeah, it's funny how much I think our
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I don't want it to our own.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Horn, but our development of being a man in our
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: sort of like maturity levels and feminine and masculine energies
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: have sort of been accelerated because of this podcast and
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: being exposed to hundreds of thousands of women's thoughts, which
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: we're very very Yeah. Yeah, but I think it is
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: we have quite a unique insight into dating because of that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: But it is it's hard when you go out and
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: date and then you see men who have that initial
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: shock value and they never get over that, and you're like,
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: it's just you can see that appeal.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I get a weird This is like kind of off topic,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: but from I guess from doing this podcast with GiB
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: like you said, having a lot of dilemmas from women,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: different insights from women, you know, our own girlfriends, and
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: then also just having grown up with our friends. The
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: vibe for some reason that I get is a man's
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: mindset when he starts to date someone new, is that
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: this woman that they almost think so this that they
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: think this woman is mine and how dare she have
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: lived a life before me? Type of situation. I don't
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: think they don't think that word for word in their head,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: but when they get told things about the woman's past
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: that they think that they don't like, it's still that
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: purity question. It's like, yeah, it's about purity. They think
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: that they deserve to have someone that's pure, and their
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: definition of pure is low body count, not having to
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: have a cheated like all these things right, But for
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: some reason, women are way more accepting to the fact
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: that the new person they're dating has lived a life
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: before them. Oh yeah, for some reason, Yeah, I feel
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: like men don't accept that life has been lived before.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I don't know, and I could be wrong, but it's
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: just a vibe I get.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: I've always been lucky to for some reason think like
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: I'm only like taking into consideration the person in front
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: of me right now. Yeah, but also you saying that
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: it's funny. I had a little bit of an epiphany
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: recently because I've talked about before we both have friends
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: drifting apart, and we have different directions in life and
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: not unhappy to say that we don't really have that
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: many friends anymore because we have such a unique job.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: But I also had an epiphany being I also think
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: we drifted apart because of how they do view women
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: and how we consciously we Yeah, I think we subconsciously
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: first before my mental state could catch up sort of.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I remember being eighteen and nineteen, so I think a
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: lot of men go through this and they never have
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: the actual shift. And they say how these dudes view
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: women of like sort of sex objects or not being pure,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: and you're like, sort of, that's just how hears. That's
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: how I would think when I was eighteen, Like, that's
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: just how what to name is, That's how what's name.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: But realistically now I'm like, actually, I really don't align
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: with how he views women, and I've taken a step
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: away because I can't have that in my life.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and yeah, that's how that's just him, but I
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: don't want to be a part of that. Yeah. Subconsciously
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: we've just been like fuck that.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: Yeah, And I remember, I remember being uncomfortable when I
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: was aiding, but I still was like, oh, no, that's
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: just my mate, that's how he is.
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But now I'm like the wrong which also created is
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: actually that's actually almost a bigger problem then, you know,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: just saying oh, that's just how he is, he's just
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: a man, and not calling them out as almost a
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: bigger problem then the actual shit that men do because
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: they need to be fucking called out random I forgot
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to actually I want to do do this at the
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: start of the episode. But New South Wales, so Western Australia,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: has this. There is a law that got It was
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: a law that first happened in England. It's called Claire's Law.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: It's been in England for a while, I believe, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: what it is is a woman named Claire. I don't
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: know the full story, and maybe I won't repeat the story.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: We should look it up, and they do it in
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: next week's episode, but just so we get it proper.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: But basically, what Claire's Law is is if a woman
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: starts dating a man and she has good reason to
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: believe maybe he has a pass of domestic violence, she
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: can go use Claire's Law at a police station and
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: get his past domestic violence history. So the police officers
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: they have it. There's a thing you need to fill
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: out and they will deem whether or not that you
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: have a good reason to see this guy's history, and
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: then they'll give it to you and they'll say either
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: he does have past domestic violence or he doesn't. And
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: so that means that if a girl does have a
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: reason to believe that a guy she's seeing, even if
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: she likes him, has something has a history of domestic violence,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: and the police say he actually does, she can get
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: out of it before it even happens. That's good, which
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: is sick. So Western Australia has it. New South Wales
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: there's currently a thing a petition to sign to get it.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Oh when't they just deprove that? So I don't know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I don't know why they need to prove it her way.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: So Beth brought it up to me the other day
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and she has there's a petition that she said she signed,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and I was like, fuck, I need to get the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: link from her. We need to put it in the
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: description of this episode, and everybody go sign that fucking link.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Yeah, we can get some Let's hopefully let's get some
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: fucking signatures on this thing, and let's get Claire's Law
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: a thing in New South Wales because repeat offenders, like
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: people that have offended once are the people that are
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: going to offend again.
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: And also what I'm talking about is sort of like
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: the star of then the star of the spectrum. Yeah,
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: like they're just the stereotypical blokes, which I don't like saying,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: but they're just the way they view women is completely
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: wrong and it's no balls effect into those sort of
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: problems one hundred percent. And I guess going back to
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: our group of friends wasn't that bad by any means.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: But a simple sort of scenario, if I was eighteen
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: and in a scenario where two guys in the front seat,
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: I'm in the back seat with another mate and their
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: cat calling a girl's walking past, my friends never did this,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: But if it did, I wish I had the tools
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: as an aideen, you old two voice up and be like, hey, man,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: don't fucking do that.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: But it's set. The problem is we just keep quiet. Yeah,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: And that's the thing that sucks is a lot of
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: men need to admit, right. So when I say this,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I'm not attacking you, I'm not attacking me. I'm not
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: attacking anyone. But if you're in a situation where you
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: think you should be calling your friends out but you're
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: to quote unquote scared, that's the problem or the problem
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: is us when men don't have the capability or tools
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: to do it, and we just need to stop being
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: fucking babies. That's literally, it's it's a simple thing. It's
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's a simple thing. And in
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: this situation, I too am a pussy and I need
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: to accept that. But it's a thing where if you're
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: in the situation, it's just got to be like fright.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I think it's more than that.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: It's that we didn't realize the magnitude the issue, not
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: that we're pussy. Maybe, Yeah, it's like we didn't realize
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: that was the problem when it was happening.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: But now we can realize that it's funny. It's like
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: I can call someone out for littering. Yeah, I can't
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: cast some for dick. Yeah, literally, fucking what literally?
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: And if you start it there, this snowball effect doesn't
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: happen as frequently hoping.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but I find that link. Definitely, Yeah, definitely we
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: think that. But why do they not just think, Yeah,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: this is a pretty good lord to have. Let's just
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: do it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: I don't know common sense with like all that comment
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: shit doesn't really make sense.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: It's eleven ten. I think our hour is over. We
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: can't listen to the song we call Yeah, see if
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: she picks up. Hello. We listened to it on the podcast.
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: We've Got Everything.

- 1:11:48Speaker 2: You know, I'm gonna I'm gonna have to speak to
