- 0:09Speaker 1: What's up, everybody?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Bucco Territory, presented to you
- 0:13Speaker 2: by the Foul Territory Network. I'm Noah Hyles and joining
- 0:15Speaker 2: me as always are my two co hosts, Josh Harrison
- 0:18Speaker 2: akaj Hey and Platinum Key aka Mark Fella's first team
- 0:25Speaker 2: workout today. We're recording this on February sixteenth, So pictures
- 0:29Speaker 2: and catchers that are not alone.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Now, everybody else is there?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Our first spring training game, Great Fruit League, Great Fruit
- 0:35Speaker 2: League action, i should say, with the Pittsburgh Pirates is.
- 0:38Speaker 1: On Saturday, So it's getting real. It's getting exciting.
- 0:43Speaker 2: We're gonna have actual baseball to talk about, not just
- 0:45Speaker 2: hypothetical moves or reacting to signings.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Still have a couple of those shows as well, but
- 0:50Speaker 2: you know, we're gonna talk about what everything seems to
- 0:53Speaker 2: be going on down in Bradenton. In today's show, we're
- 0:58Speaker 2: just gonna focus on one thing. Culture, that's the goal,
- 1:03Speaker 2: that seems to be the focus in Bradenton with the Pirates.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Just reading the coverage from the Post Gazette, my co
- 1:09Speaker 2: workers Jason Mackie and Colin Beasley, we are down there.
- 1:12Speaker 2: It seems like Don Kelly has been doing a lot
- 1:15Speaker 2: to implement culture, and we're gonna talk about the different.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Ways that they're going about that.
- 1:20Speaker 2: So let me outline it real quick on how many
- 1:24Speaker 2: different ways it seems like they are trying to build
- 1:26Speaker 2: a winning, winning culture, because winning culture isn't just responsible
- 1:30Speaker 2: for one thing. You can't just have a great coach,
- 1:33Speaker 2: you can't just have a great veteran leader. You can't
- 1:36Speaker 2: just have a good collective mindset or a good assistant
- 1:39Speaker 2: staff or any of those things. It's a little bit
- 1:44Speaker 2: of all of it. And you look at what this
- 1:45Speaker 2: offseason has been. It has been an overhaul of the
- 1:49Speaker 2: coaching staff. It has been a whole bunch of veteran
- 1:52Speaker 2: additions to the lineup. It has been bringing back some
- 1:55Speaker 2: guys who have won in Pittsburgh to maybe give a
- 1:58Speaker 2: little something of it vice and guidance in spring training.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And it's been the man at the top leading the
- 2:04Speaker 2: charge with all of that rhetoric.
- 2:05Speaker 1: So we're going to get into that now.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I want to start by asking Josh, when you hear
- 2:11Speaker 2: winning culture, what comes to mind. Who are some people
- 2:15Speaker 2: that you look back at your career and you think
- 2:17Speaker 2: these were the guys that established the winning cultures that
- 2:21Speaker 2: I was a part of.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It's hard to overlook those years that I was, you know,
- 2:27Speaker 3: early part of my career at thirteen through fifteen when
- 2:31Speaker 3: we were to make those those runs. And it's hard
- 2:34Speaker 3: to not mention guys like you know, Aj Burnett, Russ Martin,
- 2:38Speaker 3: Clint Barmess.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Within that you had guys that you know, didn't spend.
- 2:43Speaker 3: As much time, but we're still impactful, Ramas Ramirez, Justin Moore.
- 2:47Speaker 3: You had arms like John Axford that has showed up
- 2:51Speaker 3: at times. You know, I'm trying to think of some
- 2:54Speaker 3: other arms that I can't really think of all of
- 2:57Speaker 3: them at the time at the time right now, but
- 3:00Speaker 3: you know, those are guys that were able to come
- 3:03Speaker 3: from other places that they won and have a blend
- 3:06Speaker 3: of you know myself.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Cutch, you know, Neil Walker, Pedro, you know.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Some young guys that had tasted a little bit of
- 3:13Speaker 3: personal success but not necessarily team success at the major
- 3:16Speaker 3: league level, and you know, they were able to not
- 3:20Speaker 3: necessarily come in and change anything. They were able to
- 3:23Speaker 3: just show away about going about business. And you know,
- 3:27Speaker 3: it wasn't anything that shook us, but it was something
- 3:31Speaker 3: that we took notice to and it just made us
- 3:34Speaker 3: that much more confident and you know, impact for as
- 3:37Speaker 3: a team, because you know, when you got guys that
- 3:39Speaker 3: have been other places, that have one World Series, that
- 3:41Speaker 3: have been to the playoffs, there's something about, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 3: experiencing that that you know when you haven't, you're going
- 3:47Speaker 3: to listen to the people that have been there and
- 3:49Speaker 3: try to pick their brains, and not only pick their brains,
- 3:51Speaker 3: but also try to emulate any work habits or you know,
- 3:55Speaker 3: things on and off the field that they do because
- 3:57Speaker 3: it all ties together.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Yeah, ask one more question for you, Josh, and then
- 4:02Speaker 2: I'll let Mark ask on you know, when you're when
- 4:05Speaker 2: you're a young, impressionable player, you talked about being around
- 4:08Speaker 2: guys who have done it. I mean the Pirates in
- 4:11Speaker 2: past years, they've they've talked about how they brought in
- 4:13Speaker 2: guys who were a part of World Series winning teams.
- 4:16Speaker 1: But a lot of them they're coming in on one
- 4:18Speaker 1: year deals.
- 4:20Speaker 2: They know that if the team doesn't perform, they're getting
- 4:22Speaker 2: shipped away at the deadline, Whereas now, I mean, sure
- 4:25Speaker 2: Brandon low is a free agent at the end of
- 4:27Speaker 2: the year, but they paid a price to get Brandon
- 4:29Speaker 2: Lowe more than just a couple million bucks and Ozuna
- 4:32Speaker 2: same thing. And Ryan O'Hearn has been a part of
- 4:35Speaker 2: some winning teams and he's here for multiple years. When
- 4:39Speaker 2: you see guys coming in that are in their prime
- 4:42Speaker 2: as opposed to dudes who you know are on the
- 4:45Speaker 2: very far end of the back nine, does that make
- 4:48Speaker 2: a difference when you're seeing a guy that's like, all right, well,
- 4:50Speaker 2: this isn't a guy who's just gonna be telling me
- 4:53Speaker 2: how it's done. This is a guy who's going to
- 4:55Speaker 2: be you know, he's going to be picking up a
- 4:57Speaker 2: shovel shovel and helping us dig.
- 5:00Speaker 3: For sure, because I mean, we all know the whole thing.
- 5:04Speaker 3: You know, actions speak louder than words, and you know,
- 5:07Speaker 3: guys can come in and speak and say I'm gonna
- 5:08Speaker 3: do this.
- 5:08Speaker 4: But as you said, have guys come in that were
- 5:11Speaker 4: in their prime.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Not only were they able to speak, which is gonna
- 5:14Speaker 3: hold weight, but when you actually saw their actions behind it,
- 5:17Speaker 3: Oh man, this dude to in the weight room. This
- 5:18Speaker 3: dude is you know out there early he's studying film.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Oh dang, he's not pitching the day, but he's on
- 5:24Speaker 3: the dugout, you know, out in the dugout and he's
- 5:26Speaker 3: locked in on every pitch.
- 5:28Speaker 4: These are things that that that change, you.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Know, not only you know, a person's mindset, of team's mindset,
- 5:34Speaker 3: because you know, all it takes is one person to
- 5:35Speaker 3: be that contagious. The team is only as strong as
- 5:39Speaker 3: their weakest individual. You know, you can have everybody here,
- 5:41Speaker 3: but if that one week link is pulling the team down,
- 5:45Speaker 3: you know that that could be the difference in you know,
- 5:47Speaker 3: winning a three game series which.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Could take you to the playoffs. And those are moments
- 5:54Speaker 4: that don't.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Necessarily show up in the stat sheet, but those are
- 5:58Speaker 3: moments that show up within the clubhouse for guys that
- 6:00Speaker 3: have experienced it to say, oh yeah, man, I learned
- 6:03Speaker 3: a lot about my pregame routine from watching this guy,
- 6:05Speaker 3: or my postgame routine from watching this guy, or you
- 6:08Speaker 3: know what, I learned how to take my lumps and
- 6:11Speaker 3: my struggles from this guy. You know, there are things
- 6:13Speaker 3: that got It's not all about good things.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Hey what did you do when you struggle? Oh man?
- 6:18Speaker 3: You know, have somebody tell me find a way to
- 6:19Speaker 3: get away from the game, you know, and somebody's like, really, yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 3: sometimes you just need to find a way to reset,
- 6:25Speaker 3: do what makes you happy. That way, when you come
- 6:28Speaker 3: back tomorrow, you're right back at it, because this game
- 6:31Speaker 3: ain't going nowhere, but the ones that can separate it.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh man, that's that's something that I'm
- 6:36Speaker 3: always shared with somebody, And those are things that change.
- 6:39Speaker 3: The culture changes, you know, winning solves everything.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Yeah, So I'll ask a question kind of based off
- 6:46Speaker 5: of that for you, Josh, how much of the culture
- 6:49Speaker 5: is stems from you know, your manager, and you've played
- 6:53Speaker 5: for a number of different managers, But how much of
- 6:55Speaker 5: that is coming from the locker room?
- 6:57Speaker 4: Is it?
- 6:57Speaker 5: Obviously it's a mixture, But what would you say is
- 7:00Speaker 5: a bigger impact? Was it your teammates, was it your manager?
- 7:04Speaker 5: Are their coaches in the dugout?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Honestly, a little bit of both, because you know, every team,
- 7:11Speaker 3: every organization is going to be you know, run differently
- 7:14Speaker 3: in certain areas. But when we were there, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 3: Clint did a great job of allowing the clubhouse to
- 7:21Speaker 3: be ours. But I think at the same time, it
- 7:23Speaker 3: was also a different landscape that Pittsburgh was under, where
- 7:27Speaker 3: now you got aj Burnett, you got Russ Martin, you know,
- 7:30Speaker 3: you got you got some veterans that you can't necessarily
- 7:34Speaker 3: just all right guys, you know, because they've been places
- 7:36Speaker 3: in at the same time, you understand they know how
- 7:40Speaker 3: to go about their business. So almost leaving that clubhouse
- 7:44Speaker 3: to be run by the guys, because ultimately that's what
- 7:46Speaker 3: it should be. You know, coaches and managers aren't there
- 7:49Speaker 3: the babysit. You know, it's a clubhouse full of grown men.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Obviously the game is getting younger, but you know, at
- 7:54Speaker 3: the same time, there's a way to go about about
- 7:57Speaker 3: business and to be accountable and you know, being able
- 8:01Speaker 3: to be in a clubhouse where one you got now
- 8:03Speaker 3: it's twenty six guys.
- 8:05Speaker 4: You need a clubhouse full of twenty six individuals.
- 8:07Speaker 3: You know, in the clubhouse where all twenty six of
- 8:10Speaker 3: those guys can be themselves.
- 8:11Speaker 4: That doesn't mean everybody's going to get.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Along all the time, but you know that means I
- 8:16Speaker 3: know you, we know each other, we know with tixas
- 8:19Speaker 3: you know, but at the end of the day we
- 8:21Speaker 3: spend eight months together. Those clubhouses that have been through
- 8:24Speaker 3: ups and downs are the ones that are going to
- 8:26Speaker 3: ride the wave because the clubhouse literally is theirs. It's
- 8:29Speaker 3: not being micromanaged, and it shows on the field, because
- 8:33Speaker 3: that's where you see those teams that know how to
- 8:34Speaker 3: come back from those you know, one run ball games,
- 8:37Speaker 3: or they hold tight in those close games because hey,
- 8:40Speaker 3: they understand tight quarters and playing for the guy right
- 8:43Speaker 3: and left of them.
- 8:45Speaker 2: We got more questions for Josh on this and just
- 8:47Speaker 2: more culture talk in general. But before we do, I
- 8:49Speaker 2: want to take a quick break.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Hear a word from our sponsor.
- 8:52Speaker 4: All Right, we got the Warby Parkers.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I got the Raiders, but one thing that upgraded to
- 8:58Speaker 6: polarized star about it. Yeah, these are good not only
- 9:02Speaker 6: for wearing, but also out in the sun. When I
- 9:05Speaker 6: become that baseball coach I always want to be with
- 9:07Speaker 6: my kids. I got the Hatchers. They're darker, a little
- 9:10Speaker 6: bit wider for my face. They fit perfect, They're comfortable.
- 9:13Speaker 6: It's an easy process to order these really really cool glasses.
- 9:17Speaker 7: I am a diehard Warby Parker fan. I do have
- 9:20Speaker 7: prescription glasses and I wear Warby Parker every day for
- 9:24Speaker 7: many years.
- 9:24Speaker 4: I'm excited about this one. Give it a shot.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Warby Parker gives you quality and better looking prescription I
- 9:29Speaker 7: wear at a fraction of the going price. Our listeners

- 9:48Speaker 7: where you heard about them. Please support our show and
- 9:50Speaker 7: tell them Foul Territory sent you.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So Josh I touchted you about it this morning and
- 9:58Speaker 2: your reaction was fun and even talking about it before
- 10:01Speaker 2: we recorded. Aj Burnett has been in Bradenton for a
- 10:05Speaker 2: little bit as like a consultant, just an advisor, whatever
- 10:09Speaker 2: title you want to throw. I mean you see this
- 10:11Speaker 2: frequently with a lot of teams, and candidly, I don't
- 10:13Speaker 2: think the Pirates did this enough under Derek Shelton, and
- 10:19Speaker 2: I was happy to see Batman get the get the
- 10:22Speaker 2: call to go down to spring training. What does a
- 10:26Speaker 2: guy like AJ Burnett provide? And I would like for
- 10:29Speaker 2: you to start by answering this by what do you
- 10:32Speaker 2: remember about the impact that AJ Burnett brought to the
- 10:35Speaker 2: clubhouse as a player his first few years there? And
- 10:39Speaker 2: then what do you think that impact could be like
- 10:42Speaker 2: in this role that he's in now as a retired
- 10:45Speaker 2: old guy.
- 10:47Speaker 4: AJ, that's my dog man. We were just texting earlier today.
- 10:51Speaker 3: But when AJ first came over, Uh, you know, I
- 10:55Speaker 3: was a young dude. I was, you know, in my locker,
- 10:59Speaker 3: in my seat, and I can remember AJ brought over
- 11:02Speaker 3: a sense of, you know, being confident, but also stand
- 11:08Speaker 3: up and speak for yourself because I saw him.
- 11:10Speaker 4: It was more so with the pictures.
- 11:12Speaker 3: He would challenge them, but not in a bad way
- 11:14Speaker 3: almost of like, man, take take control of what you
- 11:18Speaker 3: want to do. Don't let the coaches or anybody else
- 11:21Speaker 3: tell you what you should do, like like own it.
- 11:25Speaker 3: And you would see guys like you know, James McDonald,
- 11:30Speaker 3: Jeff Locke, guys that had success.
- 11:32Speaker 4: You know, it wasn't that you know AJ did. It
- 11:35Speaker 4: was just they were literally by AJ side.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And I'll be honest, he like had them right and left,
- 11:41Speaker 3: and you know they picking his brain and you know
- 11:44Speaker 3: he's might be one guy looked like man, he's tough
- 11:48Speaker 3: on him, but he's like no, he's showing them like, no, bro,
- 11:50Speaker 3: you gotta be able to do this for yourself, you know.
- 11:53Speaker 3: And what he brung over was a sense of freedom.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You know, there were a lot of guys that felt
- 11:57Speaker 3: that they were playing more so trying to do what
- 12:01Speaker 3: was told as opposed to, Man, go out there and
- 12:03Speaker 3: be yourself, because you know, you see AJ out there.
- 12:05Speaker 3: You know, I'm not gonna say the words, but we
- 12:08Speaker 3: all know the acronym of what he would do when
- 12:09Speaker 3: he would strike somebody out, you know, like the whole
- 12:12Speaker 3: stadium would go crazy and.
- 12:14Speaker 4: To everybody like, oh man, that's crazy.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But that's also the freedom of AJ saying, man, I'm
- 12:18Speaker 3: a dog, I'm a competitor. So that freedom of what
- 12:21Speaker 3: he brought to the clubhouse was, Man, I don't care
- 12:24Speaker 3: what you got going on, We're gonna be dogs.
- 12:25Speaker 4: We're gonna be competitors.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Our team fed off of that, and not everybody needed
- 12:29Speaker 3: that push, but to those that did, you know, there
- 12:31Speaker 3: were Jeff Locke was a very quiet guy, but I
- 12:34Speaker 3: think he was able to, you know, feed off of
- 12:37Speaker 3: AJ and understand he learned how to pitch Ben around AJ.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Jeff Locke was my roommate when I first got traded
- 12:43Speaker 3: to the Pirates, so I know, Jeff that was my guy,
- 12:46Speaker 3: and AJ was was on Jeff. But at the same time,
- 12:51Speaker 3: you know, it was something that as a player. You're
- 12:55Speaker 3: you're gonna mean that's a J Burnett. You know, Jeff like, okay,
- 12:58Speaker 3: he sees something in me. And that's honestly where you
- 13:02Speaker 3: would see it transferred over to the position players because
- 13:06Speaker 3: we didn't have a J. Burnett on the position side,
- 13:08Speaker 3: but you had Clint barmas, you had Russ Martin. We
- 13:11Speaker 3: ended up getting Marlon Brd. Then obviously you had Cutch
- 13:13Speaker 3: who was established, but cutching his self, was still an
- 13:17Speaker 3: up and coming, you know, young guy that didn't experience
- 13:20Speaker 3: a winning team at the major leagues because when he
- 13:22Speaker 3: came up, they weren't winning. And I think it was
- 13:26Speaker 3: able to take a little pressure off of Cutch on
- 13:28Speaker 3: the position side because it was like, man, you know,
- 13:30Speaker 3: the position players we got, you know, and knowing that
- 13:32Speaker 3: AJ was able to kind of help with the pitchers
- 13:34Speaker 3: and kind of mold that. I think that just allowed
- 13:38Speaker 3: our team to say, you know, you got a guy
- 13:40Speaker 3: like a J. Burnette telling everybody to sit the f down.
- 13:43Speaker 3: You know, we fed off of that, and you know,
- 13:45Speaker 3: shirts got made and the rest is history.
- 13:49Speaker 2: So what does that mean for him in this role?
- 13:54Speaker 2: And we're gonna get to talk to AJ. We anticipate
- 13:56Speaker 2: him being on our next episode, so little teas there
- 13:59Speaker 2: for all of our listening audience something to look forward to.
- 14:03Speaker 2: But I mean, what is the value and did you
- 14:05Speaker 2: guys have any veteran instructors come back when you were
- 14:09Speaker 2: in Pittsburgh.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Or even for other teams.
- 14:12Speaker 2: What is the value in having like a guy like
- 14:14Speaker 2: that come back in spring training today?
- 14:18Speaker 3: Man, it's super cool when you get to see guys
- 14:20Speaker 3: come back and you know, share their knowledge, but not
- 14:23Speaker 3: only that, just to be back around the game. You know,
- 14:26Speaker 3: when you retire, you know you get pulled in different directions,
- 14:29Speaker 3: having a wife, having kids, you know, trying to catch
- 14:32Speaker 3: up on time that you may have missed. So when
- 14:33Speaker 3: they come to spring training, you know, that's an opportunity
- 14:37Speaker 3: that I know is refreshing for them. But you hit
- 14:40Speaker 3: on it early, you know, with culture shift culture being
- 14:43Speaker 3: a big talk of this today being a first workout
- 14:46Speaker 3: of full team. You know, you always start with a
- 14:49Speaker 3: team meeting where the pictures and catchers have already had theirs.
- 14:51Speaker 3: But once everybody's together, you have that team meeting where
- 14:53Speaker 3: you're talking about the team goals for the season, the
- 14:56Speaker 3: identity you want to have.
- 14:58Speaker 4: So for him to be there at this part of
- 15:02Speaker 4: the spring training.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I think sends a message, a message to the guys
- 15:06Speaker 3: not only about the culture shift that they want, but
- 15:09Speaker 3: also bringing guys that was able to bring a culture
- 15:12Speaker 3: shift themselves to Pittsburgh, you know, playing in New York,
- 15:16Speaker 3: playing in Toronto, playing in Miami, playing in different places.
- 15:19Speaker 3: But he also understands how you know, prideful and how
- 15:22Speaker 3: important Pittsburgh is because I think I hit on it
- 15:25Speaker 3: before he you know, went to Philly and came back
- 15:27Speaker 3: to Pittsburgh. So that's a guy right there that you know,
- 15:32Speaker 3: Pittsburgh holds a special place.
- 15:33Speaker 4: In his heart and he could probably tell you that.
- 15:36Speaker 3: But for for everything that you're trying to speak an
- 15:39Speaker 3: identity and want that culture to be about, you know,
- 15:42Speaker 3: we're gonna be out there and we're gonna be dogs.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I think he's a great representation of what you want
- 15:47Speaker 3: to have there at the beginning.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yeah, and I absolutely loved what Don Kelly Uh the
- 15:52Speaker 5: reporting out of his like initial team meeting today, he
- 15:56Speaker 5: focused on Pittsburgh and how it's.
- 15:59Speaker 4: They have it.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Players have a unique opportunity and bring in a guy
- 16:04Speaker 5: like AJ was the perfect idea for Don Kelly Uh
- 16:08Speaker 5: to exemplify that to them, showing, hey, this guy's still
- 16:11Speaker 5: a legend in the city. And AJ mentioned that He's like,
- 16:14Speaker 5: we didn't accomplish all of our goals, but we went
- 16:18Speaker 5: and worked our butts off, and the player or the
- 16:20Speaker 5: city and the fans recognized that this is a city
- 16:24Speaker 5: where you can become a legend if you just win.
- 16:27Speaker 5: And they really have that opportunity for the first time here.
- 16:30Speaker 5: And so I loved that that was the focus from
- 16:33Speaker 5: Don Kelly today and that he invited a guy like
- 16:37Speaker 5: AJ to come in and helped spread that message and
- 16:39Speaker 5: show how much winning means in Pittsburgh.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, especially not to cut you off. I
- 16:45Speaker 4: just say, especially they made.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was going to say, with the moves that they made,
- 16:49Speaker 3: you don't want it to be what has been the past.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You have to pretty much not necessarily re create an identity,
- 16:55Speaker 3: but say, let's create a culture here that is going
- 16:57Speaker 3: to move forward with what we got.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Exactly what do they gotta do to get you down there? Josh?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Would you go if they invited you?
- 17:04Speaker 4: They got to give me a call. My phone works.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I'm not a post my phone works.
- 17:13Speaker 1: All right, There we go. That's the clip for social media.
- 17:16Speaker 1: So there, take the call, get number five back in Bradenton.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I want to remind everyone listening and watching to hit
- 17:24Speaker 2: that subscribe button if you have not already. We're on
- 17:27Speaker 2: a mission to three thousand subs and we can't get
- 17:30Speaker 2: there without your help. Also want to remind everyone to
- 17:34Speaker 2: check out our store, our show's store, the Bucco Territory Story,
- 17:38Speaker 2: where you can get a whole bunch of great merch.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Look at that hoodies.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Yeah that's a pretty high quality too.
- 17:46Speaker 1: High quality stuff. Yes, I mean we warre them on
- 17:48Speaker 1: the podcast before the gym bag.
- 17:51Speaker 4: I got the hat on the hat on there.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah, there's the hat right there.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I got that or no that I'm sorry about, but
- 18:02Speaker 3: he appreciate the opportunity.
- 18:04Speaker 4: You know, shop as well.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that's like you're not showing your pirates hat.
- 18:08Speaker 2: You're showing your MLB hat. That's it's all go to
- 18:14Speaker 2: the same place now. But guys, an your final thoughts
- 18:17Speaker 2: before we wrap up today.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Excited to see where the culture shift.
- 18:23Speaker 3: But as we're getting close to these grape fruit games
- 18:25Speaker 3: coming up, you know this is always an exciting time
- 18:29Speaker 3: when you got full squad together, you know, that's that's
- 18:32Speaker 3: where you want to bring the energy, and that's where
- 18:34Speaker 3: you start to really come together. Cohesiveness as a team,
- 18:37Speaker 3: you know is no longer pitchers and catchers report everything
- 18:39Speaker 3: is together. So I'm excited to see where they go
- 18:41Speaker 3: starting this first week and you know, building towards you know,
- 18:45Speaker 3: heading up north.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 5: I'm loving the winning mindset, the culture shift, and the
- 18:52Speaker 5: buy in that we're getting from players in the interviews.
- 18:56Speaker 5: It seems like it's not just one person saying it.
- 18:58Speaker 5: It's a lot of twenty six guys that I'll believe
- 19:01Speaker 5: in the same message. So excited to see where that
- 19:03Speaker 5: leads this year.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Absolutely well.
- 19:07Speaker 2: He's Mark aka platinum Key, He's Josh Harrison aka j Hey.
