- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:07Speaker 1: This week, filmmakers. Sometimes they're born, sometimes they go to school,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and sometimes in school they catch the film bug. This week,
- 0:18Speaker 1: this week we are talking to some high school filmmakers.
- 0:23Speaker 2: High school filmmaking is a long story tradition, ever since
- 0:26Speaker 2: kids were able to get cameras. These ambitious, young, talented
- 0:32Speaker 2: upstarts have been working very hard on their very first film,
- 0:36Speaker 2: and they were gracious enough to sit down in the
- 0:39Speaker 2: Aoaoaoa studios to talk about what it's like to be
- 0:43Speaker 2: artists and students.
- 0:45Speaker 3: So let's pull up iMovie and meet up in front
- 0:47Speaker 3: of my locker. Let's listen in. Do you guys mind
- 0:53Speaker 3: if I drink my frappuccino during this hell?
- 0:56Speaker 4: Oh enough for all of us?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Oh my god, did you drive? Did you drive out
- 1:00Speaker 1: of the seniors a lot.
- 1:00Speaker 4: To get that?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Literally? I left at Recess, Oh my.
- 1:03Speaker 5: God, by Smith's security.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Caught by Smith security.
- 1:08Speaker 4: He's so slow.
- 1:09Speaker 1: He always just asked me, honestly, if I go at Recess.
- 1:11Speaker 3: He just asked me to get in the madlines, like
- 1:14Speaker 3: a little madline.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Oh my god. We're not on that level. We're not
- 1:19Speaker 1: on that level, but I'm like trying to be totally Oh,
- 1:23Speaker 1: you guys, this is so exciting that and like these microphones,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I like haven't kind of craziness.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I wonder actually how much this like costs and stuff.
- 1:32Speaker 5: I think they're actually two nineteen each. Because my dad,
- 1:35Speaker 5: my dad is in a cover band. He's in a
- 1:37Speaker 5: Tom Petty cover band and he's.
- 1:39Speaker 2: He actually, my dad's in a Tom Petty cover band,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and he actually has a lot of these in his study,
- 1:48Speaker 2: and so.
- 1:49Speaker 5: I've actually I've actually had to buy some for him.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Your dad has a study?
- 1:54Speaker 4: What is it?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Okay, dude, that's so yeahs your dad like kind of
- 1:58Speaker 1: like writing like his girl in Pope, Like what is
- 2:02Speaker 1: he doing? Like what is that?
- 2:04Speaker 2: It's like it's like writing down Tom Petty lyrics because
- 2:08Speaker 2: he sings like a song that's already been song.
- 2:12Speaker 1: He's like writing songs to cover. He's like transcribing the lyrics.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You guys are.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Funny, You guys are we get into it?
- 2:21Speaker 4: Yeah, let's freaking go.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, well, hi, America, we made a movie. Yeah, I
- 2:27Speaker 1: guess we made acause we made a movie. Film. Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 1: a film a film? Yeah, Sorry I misspoke. Monster Mash
- 2:35Speaker 1: is a movie. No, I mean is a song. Sorry,
- 2:40Speaker 1: she is a song. Sorry, sorry, I was thinking of it.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I was thinking of Monsters, Inc.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Which is a movie so embarrassing.
- 2:47Speaker 1: My bad, my bad.
- 2:49Speaker 5: It's all good, no worries. Yeah, many.
- 2:53Speaker 7: You don't have to get particular.
- 2:54Speaker 1: No, my bad. I'm not offended and I'm not bad
- 2:57Speaker 1: and I'm fine, okay.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Because we make fun of all this like that.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Okay, you've got you can eat later. You can later.
- 3:10Speaker 6: We all just had McDonald's.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You're gonna be out of frame like right away. Like
- 3:15Speaker 1: I know you're out of frame right now.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Such a tall guy, you're.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Frame. Yeah, I'm perfect.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Okay, Sorry, you're gonna go out of frame so much.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Thank you, Yeah, thank you. He's our advisor and he's
- 3:33Speaker 1: been really nice to us.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he's been. And he's in video Village watching us.
- 3:37Speaker 1: They want us to say our names what we did
- 3:39Speaker 1: in the movie.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, go ahead, go first.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Hi. I'm Renee Cohen.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm sometimes mean and.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I help times sometimes. Yeah, she is mean.
- 3:55Speaker 3: She's really means sometimes mean, and I helped. I don't know,
- 4:00Speaker 3: I just did a lot of things. I helped produce it.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I helped I think we all worked on the writing
- 4:05Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 4:06Speaker 6: You did my makeup, Yeah I did makeup.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I did my girls makeup and yeah, oh like I
- 4:13Speaker 3: would like. I guess I was like in charge of
- 4:15Speaker 3: like deciding where each scene is filmed.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Like you're a location scout. You're a location scout? Is
- 4:21Speaker 1: that what it's called?
- 4:22Speaker 8: Yes?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Okay, girls, Yeah, I'm a woman.
- 4:26Speaker 5: So you're not a woman.
- 4:29Speaker 6: She's eighteen, Yes, she is.
- 4:31Speaker 5: She's not eighteen, she's seventeen.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Well, she's going to be eighteen in a couple of months.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Literally, in two months, I'm going to be a woman. Okay,
- 4:40Speaker 3: So I'm seventeen and a half.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Is this interview in two months? Yeah?
- 4:44Speaker 1: It is?
- 4:44Speaker 3: Okay, Literally, it's crazy you've changed so much in spring.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Okay, anyway, Renee.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Does everyone hate me?
- 5:01Speaker 4: I find hilarious.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I think it's kind of funny, but I feel like
- 5:06Speaker 1: absolutely not. Did you skitch? You don't. They're called sketches.
- 5:13Speaker 1: We caught sketches. I kind of feel like you should
- 5:16Speaker 1: go for SNL has skitch. They're called sketches, sketched sketches,
- 5:22Speaker 1: they're called sketchtches.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You crack it too?
- 5:25Speaker 6: What is going on?
- 5:27Speaker 5: Too much?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Okay? Okay, fine, I'll go I'm I'm I'm Rebecca Clydesdale. Yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 1: my parents do horses, but that's not all I do,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and I'm like trying to do something else. I'm trying
- 5:41Speaker 1: to do something else, which is why I really got
- 5:45Speaker 1: into filmmaking. After we were all part of the film
- 5:48Speaker 1: club where we watched a lot of movies. We watched
- 5:50Speaker 1: The Babba Duke and we kind of went like, I
- 5:52Speaker 1: want to make something like that.
- 5:54Speaker 4: The bab Duke is fucked up. I don't know if
- 5:56Speaker 4: you guys have seen it at home, but it's really
- 5:58Speaker 4: fucked up.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I also was like, you and I really really bonded
- 6:05Speaker 3: over our love for Magnolia.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I love Magnolia. I really love Magnolia, and I
- 6:11Speaker 1: really like it's it's like it's just something that kind
- 6:13Speaker 1: of like kind of feels like more fucked up than
- 6:16Speaker 1: other movies. And so I was kind of interested in that.
- 6:20Speaker 1: But I acted in the movie a little bit, and
- 6:23Speaker 1: I also did there's a little bit of choreo, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: so I took a class at artc and so I
- 6:32Speaker 1: did a little bit of the choreo. And I would
- 6:35Speaker 1: say like largely I have been a production assistant. But
- 6:40Speaker 1: I think I do more than that too.
- 6:41Speaker 6: So absolutely, like in.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Student films, like what I've actually learned the most, and
- 6:45Speaker 4: like what I've taken away from it is like everybody's
- 6:48Speaker 4: part of the village.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and my mom has a boom, so I that's
- 6:54Speaker 1: been a lot of what I've my mom. My mom
- 6:59Speaker 1: has a boom. I don't ask about your dad and
- 7:02Speaker 1: his band.
- 7:03Speaker 5: I'll tell you why he had a tom Py cover mad.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Why your mom got a boom?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Look though, my mom got a Your mom got a
- 7:12Speaker 1: big boom. No, she doesn't. My mom got a boom
- 7:16Speaker 1: because she had a daytime TV pilot presentation.
- 7:19Speaker 9: Actually, don't answer the question though, Why did she have
- 7:24Speaker 9: a boot for that?
- 7:26Speaker 1: She had a boom because it was low budget. It
- 7:28Speaker 1: was low budget, it was going to be a day show.
- 7:30Speaker 1: She was going to talk to women about their feelings
- 7:32Speaker 1: and their weights.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah, your mom got a big boom, got a doom kadoom.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Literally she does.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Literally, you need to.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Mom right now, stop chill.
- 7:44Speaker 1: My mom has a boom. Stop it. Okay, you go next,
- 7:48Speaker 1: ski have a six, go ahead.
- 7:50Speaker 6: And there and there it is and there it is.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Ye. What did you say, why can't a woman have
- 7:54Speaker 1: a boom.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You don't think her mom can have a I know
- 7:57Speaker 2: anyone could buy a boom.
- 7:58Speaker 5: I just don't know why she did. Yeah, she's a
- 8:01Speaker 5: reception all the time. He's a reception of the front.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Off.
- 8:04Speaker 3: You laugh at things that are different, like when I
- 8:07Speaker 3: told you like you laugh at like mental health.
- 8:10Speaker 5: I went to a.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Second city intensive over the summer in Chicago.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I've also been to Chicago. Okay, I've been
- 8:20Speaker 1: to Chicago.
- 8:22Speaker 5: You've been to Does that mean you're the president?
- 8:24Speaker 6: You didn't go to I've been there. My grandma's from there.
- 8:27Speaker 3: No, she isn't even Please, we have to keep going.
- 8:32Speaker 1: More food, Jesus the boom, and you're gonna throw up
- 8:38Speaker 1: in the cary.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Go ahead, say who you are and what you did.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Okay, my name is Cody Pritzker. And you said, no, garden.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Stop stop doing sketches. Stop stop. It actually pisses me off. Sketches,
- 8:59Speaker 1: It pisses me off.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It was just every day it was like this, Okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: let's get your name, let's get your name.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Okay, my name is Cody Pritzker. I'm playing the creature
- 9:11Speaker 2: in Hide and Creep. By the way, it's the name
- 9:13Speaker 2: of the movie Hiding. So I'm on the football team.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I'm a tackle and it's been really fun because I
- 9:22Speaker 2: was actually in drama one on one with you guys.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Crazy finally like one other yea, one other dude.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It was so and I played so many roles in
- 9:34Speaker 2: theater oneure you did and you were really good at it.
- 9:39Speaker 5: And you are so good and I.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Had so much fun, Like it's fun goofing off of
- 9:44Speaker 2: you guys, Like I don't get to goof like this
- 9:46Speaker 2: with the rest of my football team, so like, I
- 9:49Speaker 2: just I feel like I fit right in it and
- 9:51Speaker 2: I'm just have been having a blast and kind of
- 9:53Speaker 2: you know, I like to keep the levity on set,
- 9:56Speaker 2: and uh, it's been really fun. I'm thinking I'm gonna
- 9:59Speaker 2: pivot maybe my entire life into going into the arts
- 10:02Speaker 2: after this.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Whoa, it's crazy. So next, Oh wow, okay, what's up.
- 10:08Speaker 4: My name is Joda Fazzio. I was the director, uh,
- 10:12Speaker 4: kind of like the brain child behind this thing. Obviously,
- 10:15Speaker 4: like everybody had a helping hand in this ship, but
- 10:17Speaker 4: like I guess like I was kind of like lead captain,
- 10:20Speaker 4: like kind of like really directing it. My dad was
- 10:22Speaker 4: a camera so we used one of his reds, so
- 10:24Speaker 4: like it was like.
- 10:25Speaker 8: Really a real red, like a real red for people
- 10:28Speaker 8: who don't know a red is like a very good camera.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's like a really good Yeah, it's it's not like
- 10:36Speaker 1: a red vision.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:37Speaker 4: It was like tough because on set people would always
- 10:39Speaker 4: be like, what do you mean red, Like we're gonna
- 10:41Speaker 4: shoot this all red, and I'm like no, no, no, no, no,
- 10:42Speaker 4: Like it's it's so different than that. It's like a
- 10:45Speaker 4: camera name, like that's what it's called, right, And so
- 10:47Speaker 4: like I was directing it and like obviously like everybody's
- 10:51Speaker 4: been so great at it, but like it's been awesome
- 10:54Speaker 4: to like just like kind of had my first vision
- 10:57Speaker 4: of many like come true, Like cause I've been like
- 10:59Speaker 4: thinking about film home and like thinking about like kind
- 11:01Speaker 4: of short stories and features since I was probably like
- 11:06Speaker 4: like seven or eight, like they've just been coming to me.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I used to like journal about them. So it's like
- 11:10Speaker 4: been really great to like see something like come to life.
- 11:14Speaker 6: You know, absolutely, so did you do that?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Did you do that?
- 11:16Speaker 5: When you said come?
- 11:17Speaker 1: No, Like no, did you do that?
- 11:18Speaker 7: Dude?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Stop? This is what happens when you work with boys
- 11:23Speaker 1: on set.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Yep, for real, this is what happened. My next movie
- 11:28Speaker 6: is all girls.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Stop it stopping.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Only things can be more women. Yeah, I love that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I think I think I might make a pact. I'm
- 11:38Speaker 1: only going to work with women, me too, for the
- 11:40Speaker 1: rest of your life, for the rest of my life.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That's literally impossible for Nae Rebecca.
- 11:45Speaker 8: Hi, my name is amberotally my cousin, cousin, stop it,
- 11:52Speaker 8: stop it?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Can she announce that?
- 11:54Speaker 6: Am I allowed to talk?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Or or no?
- 11:56Speaker 4: Go ahead? Just go ahead?
- 11:58Speaker 5: Hey, thanks for letting me know you guys are cousins.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Thanks her cousins.
- 12:02Speaker 8: And yeah, so I was the I played Mercy in
- 12:05Speaker 8: the film, and I'd say I was like one of
- 12:07Speaker 8: the main writers on it week sort of all collaborated,
- 12:11Speaker 8: but it was I.
- 12:12Speaker 6: I am the one who owns a MacBook.
- 12:15Speaker 5: A lot of people wrote, by the way, and I
- 12:18Speaker 5: noticing everyone's saying they wrote it.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Okay, well I fin I have final drafts on my computer.
- 12:23Speaker 3: But also Amber, like you're gonna talk about the writing,
- 12:25Speaker 3: but like, I'm so sorry. I'm just going to stand
- 12:26Speaker 3: up for you as one of your best friends and
- 12:28Speaker 3: say that like you have become an actress. This year,
- 12:33Speaker 3: you have like like you did Aida, and we were
- 12:35Speaker 3: all like, whoa, she did that right? And then when
- 12:37Speaker 3: we decided like we were going to make this movie
- 12:39Speaker 3: because like you were like a visionary and you're like,
- 12:40Speaker 3: I'm going to direct a movie so young to do
- 12:42Speaker 3: a whole feature, we knew you could be the lead.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I saw you in. Was that okay? By the way,
- 12:50Speaker 5: Miss Mercedes might have been wild in for that one? Yea, Amber,
- 12:56Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 12:57Speaker 8: I don't know she's saying it perfectly perfectly, like I'm
- 13:01Speaker 8: really good. But anyway, I I've been really into film
- 13:05Speaker 8: and I saw a fight Club last summer, Like I've
- 13:08Speaker 8: been very into films and movies, and I after this year,
- 13:15Speaker 8: so I just want to take this time to announce
- 13:18Speaker 8: I'm actually gonna be going and studying film in college.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, congrats, where are you going?
- 13:26Speaker 8: So I was waitlisted at USC but I'm I think
- 13:29Speaker 8: I'm going to get in and I'm I think that
- 13:32Speaker 8: I'm gonna study film there and maybe continue acting because
- 13:35Speaker 8: I feel like something has sort of like like I
- 13:37Speaker 8: don't want to say like awakened, but sort of awakened
- 13:41Speaker 8: inside of me, and maybe I should.
- 13:45Speaker 1: This is crazy.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm literally going to study special effects makeup at
- 13:49Speaker 3: Alta Beauty in North Hollywood.
- 13:51Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Wow, it's a Tuesday night.
- 13:53Speaker 6: We're all movie. We're literally gonna move.
- 13:55Speaker 1: It's a Tuesday night together. It's every Tuesday night.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I'm on the second wait list for Chapman, So I'm
- 14:02Speaker 4: really excited for Dodge to see if it goes through.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Like I'm really freaking pumped, Like they have to go
- 14:08Speaker 4: through the first wait list and then they're going to
- 14:09Speaker 4: talk to me about my second one. I love.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I think it's like really inappropriate that next week we're
- 14:13Speaker 3: all gonna like wear our like school our future school
- 14:16Speaker 3: shirts because like Alta doesn't have like something like that,
- 14:19Speaker 3: but like I'm going to a promo, have a shirt.
- 14:24Speaker 1: D Pop. The people who work it Alta sometimes put
- 14:26Speaker 1: their shirts up there, so you could, but I mean
- 14:30Speaker 1: you could do that.
- 14:30Speaker 3: But I just feel like it's such an old fashioned,
- 14:33Speaker 3: like tradition that the seniors all wear the sweatshirt of
- 14:36Speaker 3: the school they're going to. Because there are so many
- 14:39Speaker 3: places of learning that aren't necessarily university walls.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Yeah, not everybody like goes to college. Like I'm not
- 14:44Speaker 1: going to go to college I'm gonna go straight into
- 14:47Speaker 1: like auditioning and stuff and like yeah, just see how
- 14:50Speaker 1: that goes.
- 14:50Speaker 3: So it it's weird that if the boy, if boys
- 14:53Speaker 3: are doing a gap year, they get to take their
- 14:54Speaker 3: shirts off.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, why don't we get to take our shirts off?
- 14:58Speaker 5: Can take your shirt off?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Stop? Stop stop because you don't want you want to
- 15:04Speaker 1: take a shirt off in a different way.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Because you're my step cousin, say.
- 15:10Speaker 8: Brass are not brass are not always sexual? Shouldn't always
- 15:14Speaker 8: be sexualized? I'm sorry, no, Cody, what are you even listening?
- 15:19Speaker 4: Oh look, I'm not even got chocolate on his fingers, late.
- 15:23Speaker 1: On his fingers.
- 15:25Speaker 6: The voice, the monster voice.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Creature going to though.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I'm not even wearing a shirt next week because I'm
- 15:33Speaker 2: wearing a jumpsuit because I'm I got picked as a mechanic.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Not everyone knows that in this town there's a mechanics draft.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm number one in the mechanics draft. I know that
- 15:44Speaker 2: I'm number one. I got picked number one of the
- 15:46Speaker 2: mechanics draft. I want to be a mechanic.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So you're going to be in the parade.
- 15:48Speaker 5: They've been They picked me at Central Hills Central Hills
- 15:52Speaker 5: Mechanics but you're going to.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Give it up to become an artist. I think that's brave.
- 15:54Speaker 4: I think that's beautiful.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I just said that. I literally just said that.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Because you know what, what I'm going to tell my mom.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Don't tell your mom again.
- 16:05Speaker 6: And she's going to talk to you.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Or do you want to have sex with each other?
- 16:09Speaker 1: What?
- 16:10Speaker 4: Oh god, you're your step cousins. That wouldn't even work,
- 16:21Speaker 4: would have that's illegal. We're literally step we're literally cousins,
- 16:25Speaker 4: you know what.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I we're memorized cousin. But she didn't mean it. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: didn't mean it.
- 16:35Speaker 6: We're backy, you know I didn't.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Okay, Actually, I think it would be good to play
- 16:38Speaker 4: some clips.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So I want to talk about something that I think
- 16:42Speaker 1: is clear in the dynamic even right now. And it's
- 16:45Speaker 1: a problem that we maybe had on set, and it's
- 16:48Speaker 1: that we can't stop fighting. And so the movie was
- 16:52Speaker 1: two minutes and thirty seconds long, but.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Then we have an hour of Blue.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Parlo. The gloopers so funnyloos are so good, are really funny.
- 17:04Speaker 1: We should put out like we should. You can't have more.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Can literally gonna drive you home and I cannot have
- 17:13Speaker 1: you in the car going like a little feels so good.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Every candy never makes me feel bad.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Don't say that in front of the que You threw
- 17:20Speaker 1: up in the picture car.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Yes, you did.
- 17:22Speaker 5: That's because the car was was flipped over. That's because
- 17:25Speaker 5: one of you guys a lot of.
- 17:27Speaker 1: People to flip that car over.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Cody, Cody, you check yourself before you accidentally talk with privilege.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I know America Ferrera's monologue in Barbie by Heart. Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and don't make.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Me do it.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Oh, but you're so good at.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Talk about the movie. What's the plot?
- 17:48Speaker 8: Okay, First, I just want to say our whole goal
- 17:50Speaker 8: in doing this is to go to Sundance, right, Can
- 17:52Speaker 8: we just say that.
- 17:55Speaker 1: It's gonna It's happened.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'm thankful for you two and your family to show
- 17:58Speaker 3: us Sundance because I did not know what that was.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And it's a film festival.
- 18:02Speaker 3: And I think it's because you guys are just like
- 18:04Speaker 3: I don't know, you guys, your family just like knows
- 18:07Speaker 3: film and stuff. And I just it was so cool
- 18:09Speaker 3: that you guys were like, we can get a movie
- 18:10Speaker 3: and it's kids, Like like we're not kids, like we're.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Young Hollywood, but like and that's the thing, like I
- 18:16Speaker 4: think like I watched a lot of the sun Dances
- 18:19Speaker 4: and I was just like, these are good, but I
- 18:21Speaker 4: could do this.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I'm one hundred fucking.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yes, Like they're good, but like not out of our reach.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah, did you know though that?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Because I know that our movie is two minutes and
- 18:31Speaker 3: thirty seconds, which could qualify for a music video for
- 18:34Speaker 3: s x S.
- 18:36Speaker 1: W are you so smart?
- 18:38Speaker 5: We have to do that?
- 18:39Speaker 1: South By south By, south By Southwest, I think south
- 18:43Speaker 1: by s X sex X.
- 18:47Speaker 6: It's sapping Cody x X.
- 18:51Speaker 3: It's a film that's and there's music videos in it.
- 18:53Speaker 3: That's where I learned the lumineers.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the oldest man by the way they're take.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Okay, So like the movie is about like kind of
- 19:02Speaker 4: what like we saw bodies, bodies, bodies altogether, and like
- 19:05Speaker 4: we thought, like I.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Saw it at that one weird indie theater on the
- 19:09Speaker 5: outskirts of town.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Well, mister mcguffin, our theater teacher said, hey, like I
- 19:13Speaker 4: think it would be a good activity. You guys should
- 19:14Speaker 4: go see art, go see movies. So we're like bodies, bodies, bodies.
- 19:18Speaker 4: This is so funny.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It has Pete Davidson in it. He's he's so.
- 19:26Speaker 4: For me, one of the funniest iconic artists. I want
- 19:30Speaker 4: to be him.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Yes, like I just hold some space for his dad.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I would love it. I actually thank you for
- 19:39Speaker 1: saying that, because it's really not appropriate that we talk
- 19:41Speaker 1: about him. Cody laughing at it nine to eleven reference.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Okay, let's move on quickly laughing.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Cody laughing?
- 19:50Speaker 5: What life is bunny? If I'm laughing on my deathbed,
- 19:54Speaker 5: I did it right.
- 19:56Speaker 1: No, we're sexualizing a man whose dad died.
- 20:05Speaker 10: Seizing its loss, ualizing stualization.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we saw bodies, bodies. We thought, like, that's such
- 20:18Speaker 4: a funny premise, that's such a funny idea.
- 20:21Speaker 1: It got going, it got all of us bodies.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Was like the most inspiring thing I've seen since under
- 20:27Speaker 3: Days this summer. Yeah, Like it was like it was
- 20:30Speaker 3: so good and I love that girls were.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Just messy in it.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and honestly they talked like us, like we were
- 20:38Speaker 4: like we could easily do something like this, Like we
- 20:40Speaker 4: came up with Hide and Seek Spin, which is hide
- 20:42Speaker 4: and creep like.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Everyone loves, like a movie where it's a normal game
- 20:46Speaker 2: for kids, but then someone dies in it, right, Like.
- 20:50Speaker 5: And like, uh, ten ten things I hate about you,
- 20:54Speaker 5: like all these things.
- 20:55Speaker 1: It's a game.
- 20:56Speaker 5: It's a game. So like we take a game that
- 20:58Speaker 5: everybody loves and then we.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I hate about you. It's like such a good game.
- 21:04Speaker 1: It's such a good Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 8: And then for me, it was like it explores like
- 21:10Speaker 8: correct me if I'm wrong, Like correct me if I'm wrong.
- 21:12Speaker 1: But stop, stop you stop. It's a turn of phrase, thank.
- 21:18Speaker 6: You, Renee. It's like so hard to sit next to.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Him, like it is so like, you know, he's so hard.
- 21:25Speaker 5: I mean, he's so hard sitting next to you.
- 21:28Speaker 1: So literally, Cody, don't stop. If you don't stop, I'm
- 21:37Speaker 1: gonna like lock you in the theater. Thank you because
- 21:41Speaker 1: his ashearse when we were Romeo and Juliette, and yes,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I remember all of that and it was awful. Sometimes
- 21:48Speaker 1: I think our movie is only three minutes long because
- 21:51Speaker 1: of you, Cody.
- 21:53Speaker 6: Honestly, Yeah, Cody, you're honest.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Here's the thing. You're our fearless leader. Sure, but you
- 21:59Speaker 1: talk over your cousin all the time.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Step cousin. I try not to talk over you.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You don't.
- 22:06Speaker 4: I don't try to talk over you like you literally don't.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I don't know what you're talking. Talk I am, I am,
- 22:14Speaker 4: let me talk whatever, go.
- 22:15Speaker 8: Ahead, Okay, So what I was gonna say was correct
- 22:18Speaker 8: me if I'm wrong. But the movie, the film actually
- 22:21Speaker 8: explores grief.
- 22:23Speaker 6: Is that is that appropriate?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Okay? But in like a fuck off way, in a
- 22:28Speaker 1: fu off And that's exactly it.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Like that is what we are doing. Differently, It's like grief,
- 22:32Speaker 6: but also fuck off.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Put your phone down. Were you just on your phone
- 22:36Speaker 1: your phone about things? I already have said.
- 22:40Speaker 8: You didn't say the thing about grief, and you didn't
- 22:42Speaker 8: say the thing about fucking off, like you did not
- 22:44Speaker 8: say that.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I literally kind of did, like in our emails and
- 22:49Speaker 4: the Google doctor.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Let's talk about some of the cameos.
- 22:51Speaker 3: We have Missus Frankel is in our movie because she
- 22:54Speaker 3: thought it was so cool that we decided to make
- 22:56Speaker 3: a feature.
- 22:57Speaker 1: She was a teacher, which is super weird.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Actually it was.
- 23:00Speaker 1: It was weird but cool that she let it was creepy.
- 23:03Speaker 5: We have Paul the Janitor. He's the fucking coolest guy.
- 23:07Speaker 7: In the world.
- 23:08Speaker 1: He's so funny. We have Linda from Lunch. She the
- 23:12Speaker 1: Lunch Monitor. She you know, she's always walking around with
- 23:15Speaker 1: that little parrot on her head, and so she uh
- 23:17Speaker 1: is like kind of a celebrity. I don't think she
- 23:20Speaker 1: knows she's because we kind of phoned her from behind. Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 1: we kind of had to do a little like found
- 23:25Speaker 1: footage sort of thing with her.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I I think like we built this like devised thing
- 23:29Speaker 2: about like this thing that we thought was interesting, but
- 23:32Speaker 2: really everyone around us, like a woman with a parrot
- 23:34Speaker 2: on her head all the time.
- 23:35Speaker 5: It's so interesting.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Like we could have maybe just made some sort of
- 23:38Speaker 2: kind of verite film about the life around us and
- 23:41Speaker 2: maybe in the future we would look back on it
- 23:43Speaker 2: and fondly.
- 23:44Speaker 1: No, because that's normal, right, right, exactly if you want
- 23:47Speaker 1: to corporate, if you want to go to the Barbie
- 23:49Speaker 1: movie direction, like corporate.
- 23:52Speaker 6: There's anything wrong with the Barbie movement.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Of course, of course no. I mean just like if
- 23:56Speaker 1: you want to be a Marvel director, we we can
- 23:58Speaker 1: do that.
- 23:59Speaker 3: But if we want to be like if there are
- 24:02Speaker 3: do it away from the mic serious.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It's just actually I can't handle what your tongue is
- 24:08Speaker 1: doing right now, you know what?
- 24:11Speaker 3: I think that man, it actually makes me upset when
- 24:18Speaker 3: you get you're the most free of us all. You
- 24:20Speaker 3: know what, I mean, I sometimes I feel like like
- 24:24Speaker 3: like I'm literally sometimes I'm jealous because I'm like.
- 24:26Speaker 1: He's actually just living.
- 24:29Speaker 5: That I said.
- 24:30Speaker 4: The whole time. I was like, guys, it's hard to
- 24:31Speaker 4: work with him, but god, is he showing up.
- 24:37Speaker 1: It's so hard because I always think sometimes like after
- 24:39Speaker 1: I leave a social interaction, like did I just say
- 24:41Speaker 1: something weird? Like was that being too much? Like what's
- 24:44Speaker 1: going on? And I don't think he's ever thought that.
- 24:46Speaker 4: And I honestly think he's gonna probably become the most
- 24:48Speaker 4: famous out of all of this.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Easy.
- 24:51Speaker 3: What I want to say that all three of us
- 24:52Speaker 3: earlies that made this movie, we've been stressed since day one,
- 24:55Speaker 3: and I don't think we genuinely have enjoyed any of it.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Butterfingers over here has just had a black Oh my, no, Conny,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I know, why are you?
- 25:08Speaker 6: That's literally I brought that candy for everyone.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Well, then why nobody take it but me?
- 25:14Speaker 4: All right, let's take.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Because we had the toys for tots of it last night,
- 25:17Speaker 1: and we all had the chili. We explained this. We
- 25:22Speaker 1: all had the chili. It made us feel gross, It
- 25:26Speaker 1: made us feel like we didn't want to eat candy.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Then why are you mad?
- 25:31Speaker 1: I don't actually know why I'm mad, And that's what
- 25:33Speaker 1: then that's what makes me even more mad.
- 25:35Speaker 3: It's almost like you're the only happy one here. Anyway,
- 25:38Speaker 3: let's talk about the premiere of the film next week.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Wouldn't we going to show a clip like fifteen minutes ago?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Stop? Wasn't that episode fun?
- 25:48Speaker 3: But don't you wish those people would just drop the voices,
- 25:50Speaker 3: be themselves and have a spelling bee?
- 25:52Speaker 4: Well, have we got news for you?
- 25:54Speaker 9: You can join our patreon at an artist on, artists on,
- 25:57Speaker 9: artists on, artists on, patroon dot com, patreon on and
- 26:00Speaker 9: get exclusive backstage content, exclusive post shows where we just
- 26:04Speaker 9: frick around.
- 26:05Speaker 4: And this season we've got an oscar draft. Yeah, we're
- 26:09Speaker 4: going head to head and choosing who wins the Oscars.
- 26:12Speaker 1: See they are like good bye, oh bye bye bye bye.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah this cool. Let's just talk about the premiere. I'm
- 26:20Speaker 4: really excited. We're doing it at the gym. They let
- 26:24Speaker 4: us use the gym, and it's actually they they they
- 26:27Speaker 4: made it an after school event, like like some people
- 26:30Speaker 4: are getting extra credit for come to and I think
- 26:31Speaker 4: that's pretty cool. It's just like your art is actually
- 26:34Speaker 4: extra credit. You know, like you've created something so good
- 26:37Speaker 4: that teachers actually want to support it, you know, like
- 26:39Speaker 4: for the first time. Like I guess for me, like
- 26:41Speaker 4: storytelling is just really important.
- 26:44Speaker 8: I guess for me as well, like storytelling Like, Okay,
- 26:47Speaker 8: correct me if I'm wrong, but storytelling matters.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, also you know yeah, like I totally agree
- 26:53Speaker 1: ratter if I'm wrong.
- 26:54Speaker 3: But I think that you can tell a story like
- 26:56Speaker 3: literally with eyeshadow, and I think you you can do
- 27:00Speaker 3: it in a lot of ways.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Like I did a lot of weird stuff with the creature.
- 27:04Speaker 3: If you notice the creature, like there is one day
- 27:08Speaker 3: I don't know if it made the final cut.
- 27:11Speaker 4: From probably didn't. It's two minutes, but shot the whole movie.
- 27:16Speaker 4: We just had problems with editing.
- 27:18Speaker 1: We had problems with a lens cap for a lot
- 27:20Speaker 1: of it. That would it was what I would say,
- 27:23Speaker 1: it was a major problem.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Say it wasn't because the lens cap was on. It's
- 27:25Speaker 3: because it was attached to the camera so it kept
- 27:28Speaker 3: hitting it. Yeah, whoa, you just keep here like and
- 27:34Speaker 3: it just ruins the footage.
- 27:35Speaker 6: Yes, for sure.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Okay, let's just jump into some clips. These can be clips,
- 27:39Speaker 4: like I think, like everybody just talk about their favorite moment.
- 27:41Speaker 4: I got the whole thing like logged up right now,
- 27:43Speaker 4: Like I can just play any clip that we want.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Actually that's awesome, and you can't come back and re
- 27:47Speaker 1: edit the movie.
- 27:48Speaker 4: So it's a feature length no, because like these are
- 27:50Speaker 4: like clips, like you can talk about like anything we shot,
- 27:52Speaker 4: like sometimes it didn't come together, but I still clipped
- 27:54Speaker 4: it out, like because I think it's like a ton
- 27:55Speaker 4: of important to like I don't know, like finish your project.
- 27:59Speaker 6: I'm like honestly snaps for that. Like I'm like totally
- 28:03Speaker 6: there with you.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Like one, No, I'm sorry, go ahead whatever, go say
- 28:10Speaker 4: what you said. I got embarrassed. I got embarrassed.
- 28:12Speaker 1: It's literally so loud when she cross.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Yeah, actually I don't want to hear that if you
- 28:17Speaker 4: might she's so I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I just got
- 28:19Speaker 4: I got embarrassed. I got embarrassed.
- 28:21Speaker 5: My marri you're gonna break her mom's boom.
- 28:23Speaker 8: You should not be embarrassed about art, ever, and like
- 28:26Speaker 8: correct me if I'm wrong with that. Is art is
- 28:29Speaker 8: our art is not embarrassment, Like that is not does
- 28:32Speaker 8: not that does not go with it.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And like cringe if you're cringing. It's because it's important and.
- 28:39Speaker 4: There it is, like how do you get how do
- 28:42Speaker 4: you grow as an artist? Like literally you have to
- 28:44Speaker 4: sit with this comfort and sit with uncomfortability. And that's
- 28:46Speaker 4: like what we actually are trying to I don't know,
- 28:48Speaker 4: like do as artists? Like is that a crime?
- 28:50Speaker 1: Is that a crime? And like then why are we
- 28:54Speaker 1: all on social media? For me?
- 28:57Speaker 4: Like why are we all on social media? Like my
- 29:00Speaker 4: generation I think is really important.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:02Speaker 2: I'm literally grown a beard and I even see a clip?
- 29:06Speaker 1: Should we see a clip? One of my arts was?
- 29:10Speaker 3: I want to say it was Amber's monologue. You absolutely
- 29:13Speaker 3: tore the boots.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Down, honey with your monologue. I think this was when you.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Send me tell the creature, you tell the creature that
- 29:19Speaker 3: like like the creature isn't as tall as you are?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Is this the yeah you found me? So what monologue?
- 29:25Speaker 11: Yes, yes, that's my and I want to ye and
- 29:30Speaker 11: I want to say some of it, like so we
- 29:32Speaker 11: we wrote the we wrote the script over seven months,
- 29:35Speaker 11: and then it was it changed a lot in the
- 29:38Speaker 11: in the final moments.
- 29:39Speaker 8: I'd say, and I actually forgot a lot of what
- 29:44Speaker 8: it was, which is very common for actors, and so
- 29:46Speaker 8: some of it was fully improvised.
- 29:49Speaker 1: It was so cool.
- 29:51Speaker 5: I couldn't see nothing under the mask, so I couldn't
- 29:54Speaker 5: read the lines.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Yeah for me, like, I think that's just better for
- 29:56Speaker 4: like set, like you don't need to stick to the book.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I don't like, I don't know, it's just like for me,
- 30:01Speaker 4: it was important for you, Okay, So let's.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 30:10Speaker 7: Well, well, well looks like I found you.
- 30:18Speaker 6: You found me?
- 30:20Speaker 12: So what.
- 30:22Speaker 6: So what what are you gonna do to me? Stop it, Cody, stop,
- 30:30Speaker 6: don't say penis now, we have.
- 30:32Speaker 1: To cut that out.
- 30:34Speaker 6: You found me?
- 30:35Speaker 1: So what so what? How about this?
- 30:41Speaker 7: Huh?
- 30:44Speaker 1: I got this feeling on this Sunday Amber, You were
- 30:53Speaker 1: so good to.
- 30:55Speaker 4: The credit was amazing and I kind of love a monologue.
- 30:58Speaker 4: That's basically if the name of the monologue is the
- 31:01Speaker 4: entire monologue.
- 31:03Speaker 1: But it's also the action. The monologue is movement.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Monologue is movement, and like not lies there were so
- 31:09Speaker 4: amazing I forgot. I'm like, I don't think like for me,
- 31:12Speaker 4: like I would edit out that Penis thing. I thought
- 31:15Speaker 4: it was actually a little bit more artistic to be in.
- 31:19Speaker 1: But sometimes I will say, you meant it as a joke,
- 31:22Speaker 1: but it was. It was kind of scary in the
- 31:24Speaker 1: final cut because it's like, what does he mean? Like
- 31:27Speaker 1: he's kind of like long legs to me, he's kind
- 31:29Speaker 1: of like long legs, like in the movie long Legs.
- 31:31Speaker 6: Absolutely, I saw long Legs too.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I saw Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Did you guys see a fantastic mister Fox?
- 31:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 31:37Speaker 4: Years ago?
- 31:38Speaker 5: Have you guys ever seen Faces of Death?
- 31:40Speaker 12: No?
- 31:40Speaker 6: No, stop me, Cody, keep looking at me like you
- 31:44Speaker 6: want me.
- 31:45Speaker 1: You're gonna trick me into seeing a scary movie again.
- 31:48Speaker 4: I gotta be honest, bro, there's something brewing underneath it.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Know, I'm good man.
- 31:52Speaker 2: What I do want to say, I actually do feel
- 31:54Speaker 2: a little bit of remorseful of that, of that scene, because.
- 31:59Speaker 5: You did have a long one.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And then I started playing the Penis game because I
- 32:02Speaker 2: was talking to my buddy stew who's doing crafty, and
- 32:06Speaker 2: then I do I did see it leave your eyes
- 32:09Speaker 2: that you knew it the monologue. I saw that I
- 32:12Speaker 2: made you lose it and you could never get it again.
- 32:16Speaker 2: And it did make me feel ramifications for my actions
- 32:19Speaker 2: in many ways, and I felt.
- 32:21Speaker 6: It really, Cody, you know what that is growth.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Drop dude.
- 32:27Speaker 4: If you apologize genuinely right now, they're all going to
- 32:29Speaker 4: develop crushes on you.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Really, can you talk me through it?
- 32:34Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I don't think i'm atracted to it'll work
- 32:38Speaker 1: discussing ship all over his hands, I will get I don't.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I don't think I would.
- 32:43Speaker 6: I would not be into.
- 32:44Speaker 3: If you make a mockery of apology, I will burn
- 32:49Speaker 3: it down because there.
- 32:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm really sorry. I'm trying to work better on that.
- 32:56Speaker 5: I'm trying to work harder on it.
- 32:59Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, I'm not a trying Cody.
- 33:00Speaker 1: What are you doing later? Cody? What are you doing later? Cody? Rebecca,
- 33:08Speaker 1: you do it so heavy. I'm sorry. I've literally never
- 33:13Speaker 1: felt anything like that. I've literally never seen a man
- 33:15Speaker 1: do that before. I'm just like, I'm sorry.
- 33:19Speaker 5: You've been a total bug to me all day.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been a bug.
- 33:22Speaker 3: And you're gonna call a woman a bug, You're gonna
- 33:25Speaker 3: ready a girl.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Bug. I want to tell you something right now, Cody,
- 33:34Speaker 1: it's literally impossible to be a woman.
- 33:37Speaker 3: You are so beautiful and so smart, and it kills
- 33:41Speaker 3: me that you don't think you're good enough. Like we
- 33:44Speaker 3: always have to be extraordinary, but somehow we're always doing
- 33:48Speaker 3: it wrong.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You have to be thin but not too thin, and
- 33:50Speaker 1: you have to say what you want to be and
- 33:52Speaker 1: you just say and you can never Okay, yeah, completely
- 33:55Speaker 1: off book, beautiful, amazing.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Hey, I'm listening to what you're saying, and I'm really
- 34:06Speaker 7: sorry too.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Many many are you doing?
- 34:08Speaker 6: Liter what are you doing?
- 34:09Speaker 1: What are you I'm sorry, Look, it just happens. It
- 34:13Speaker 1: happens so fast.
- 34:15Speaker 7: Am I a god?
- 34:17Speaker 1: Okay, that's don't take that away from it. Don't take
- 34:22Speaker 1: that away from Okay, can we play the scene that
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm really really really proud of.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Go ahead, okay, stop, Okay.
- 34:32Speaker 1: This was the scene where I think it was like.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Rebecca, you're playing the nun, You're the creature, great creatures
- 34:40Speaker 3: in it, and I am. What's really fun about this
- 34:42Speaker 3: is we got to do like practical sound effects.
- 34:44Speaker 1: When you blame them.
- 34:46Speaker 3: So I'm playing with a like a toy, like a
- 34:51Speaker 3: kid's toy drum set in the back, and for some
- 34:54Speaker 3: reason on camera it sounds so scary.
- 34:55Speaker 4: So it's really cool actually, and I think, like for me,
- 34:58Speaker 4: like so this is the scene where the nun dies eyes,
- 35:00Speaker 4: I feel like it's a big statement. I don't know
- 35:02Speaker 4: the nuns so like the Nuns of Lesbian. That was
- 35:05Speaker 4: a big pitch for my cousin.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Yeah, a bunch of kids point hide and seek and
- 35:08Speaker 5: also there's a numb there.
- 35:10Speaker 4: It makes sense in the film. Actually it actually it
- 35:13Speaker 4: makes sense, like makes Nuns of Lesbian and uh and
- 35:18Speaker 4: she like actually is really struggling with God. Like that's
- 35:20Speaker 4: like the interesting thing though for me, I don't know,
- 35:23Speaker 4: it's just like it's just like why not push it?
- 35:25Speaker 1: I don't know that was so interesting when you like
- 35:28Speaker 1: your your your whole take on that. I actually like
- 35:30Speaker 1: did some research on this, and I went to church.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I went to mass for the way you went to
- 35:35Speaker 4: Catholic Mass.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I went to Catholic Mass.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Well, you saw me there given the Eucharist.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yeah, give the they let you give the UK.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I'm kind of one altar boy there.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You're fucking everywhere, Cody everywhere.
- 35:48Speaker 4: So yeah, this is the nun scene with some practical effects.
- 35:50Speaker 4: And yeah, me and you were behind camera. I think
- 35:54Speaker 4: you can barely hear us fighting, all right, and uh
- 35:58Speaker 4: miroll it.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Forgive me, sister, for I have seen no.
- 36:03Speaker 12: Oh God, oh God, oh God, please please forsake me,
- 36:07Speaker 12: Oh God, oh God, oh God, creature you are of
- 36:13Speaker 12: the devil.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yes, creature.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Devil is my friend, and you, my fool.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen got him.
- 36:21Speaker 6: There's a vomit on his.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Creature. Take one step you want to?
- 36:29Speaker 5: Are we good?
- 36:30Speaker 4: So that was amazing?
- 36:31Speaker 6: That was so good. I feel like you could hardly
- 36:35Speaker 6: hear us talking.
- 36:35Speaker 4: I feel like my favorite part was a sound effect
- 36:38Speaker 4: that you added that ladies and gentleman we got him.
- 36:40Speaker 5: Was that was that when they found.
- 36:46Speaker 1: That such a good guy. Life is about war and
- 36:51Speaker 1: that's the ultimate game of heide and Seek. I'm sorry, Cody,
- 36:54Speaker 1: wake up. Girls are women and life is war. Yeah,
- 36:58Speaker 1: girls are women. Life is war. I feel you don't
- 37:00Speaker 1: think so intensely, Cody.
- 37:02Speaker 6: You could never survive a period.
- 37:05Speaker 4: You could not.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You actually could.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Have you seen a YouTube video where they put period
- 37:09Speaker 3: simulators on men on the men's screen and they.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Can't do it.
- 37:13Speaker 5: I could do.
- 37:13Speaker 4: My YouTube is much different than that.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yeah, mine's this guy. He built this gigantic terrarium with
- 37:18Speaker 2: these killer spiders and then he put these ants in there. Great,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I had a period before.
- 37:24Speaker 1: No, you didn't.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Yeh bled out of my penis ones.
- 37:26Speaker 4: That's period.
- 37:29Speaker 1: That's a venereal disease.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Mane.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I could that could be it.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Okay, wow, we are this is like amazing to talk
- 37:37Speaker 4: about art like, I'm just so privileged. I think I
- 37:40Speaker 4: would say like to like get I don't know, like
- 37:42Speaker 4: this moment in time in my youth, to like grab
- 37:46Speaker 4: onto something like this. I just feel like my generation
- 37:48Speaker 4: is not really doing that.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I think it's also special that this movie is coming out,
- 37:51Speaker 3: like as we're like finishing or senior ear.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Yeah, so in the last couple of minutes here, I
- 37:57Speaker 4: think it would be great to play the movie and
- 37:59Speaker 4: it's totality.
- 38:02Speaker 1: The final we have the time, We actually have more
- 38:05Speaker 1: than enough time, yes, all right.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Because we start and remember we got an hour and
- 38:14Speaker 4: a half of bloopers after and you'll know you'll okay.
- 38:18Speaker 3: You'll know it hits two minutes and thirty seven seconds
- 38:20Speaker 3: because Icona Pop comes on.
- 38:22Speaker 7: Okay, here we go.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Can you just show us the clock?
- 38:25Speaker 1: Yeah, or I'll just give you a time updates as
- 38:28Speaker 1: we go.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Okay, and.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Begin movie player game tonight. I was thinking hide and Seek.
- 38:41Speaker 6: I'd play.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm game.
- 38:43Speaker 3: What about let's play I don't know, maybe something fun
- 38:46Speaker 3: and silly, like what about hide and Seek?
- 38:49Speaker 1: Is dangerous? Well? My dad did give me this weird pill,
- 38:54Speaker 1: a weird pill that sounds dangerous.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Let's play. We all hide and then all take the
- 39:00Speaker 4: pill and see what happens and come find you guys.
- 39:04Speaker 5: Bo hide and creep.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Okay, guys, I'm gonna be hiding in the bathroom.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna hide in the basement. No, in the basements
- 39:13Speaker 1: where they talk about that lesbian nun who lives there.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Yes, the the lesbian nune lives in the basement.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You have to be careful of her. Okay, I'll be
- 39:23Speaker 1: careful of her when I go down there. Smash cut
- 39:25Speaker 1: to the woods, ing, smash cut to the basement. Sister,
- 39:33Speaker 1: what are you doing here? I'm here because I serve
- 39:38Speaker 1: the Lord.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Smash cut to the attic.
- 39:42Speaker 6: Whoa, it's really scary up here.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it is pretty scary. Huh.
- 39:47Speaker 7: Smash cut to the woods.
- 39:49Speaker 1: OHI elliotson free it's not the line.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Well, the smash cut.
- 39:56Speaker 1: So you're a senior too, Huh.
- 39:59Speaker 6: I'm a scene you're so you're a senior.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I'm just the camera guy. You can't see
- 40:06Speaker 4: my face because it's POV.
- 40:07Speaker 6: Oh, okay, should I not talk to you?
- 40:09Speaker 5: No?
- 40:10Speaker 4: You can keep talking.
- 40:11Speaker 5: I don't mind smash go to the basement. Forgive me, sister,
- 40:14Speaker 5: for I'm about to sing.
- 40:15Speaker 1: No, no, why have you forsaken me? No? Step back demon, Rebecca, Rebecca.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Can you hear me? My character's name is Sarah, Sarah Sarah.
- 40:29Speaker 5: Can you hear me to me killing you? I'm glad
- 40:33Speaker 5: to get you.
- 40:39Speaker 1: So you sent me, so you so you found me?
- 40:41Speaker 12: So what?
- 40:42Speaker 1: So you found me?
- 40:43Speaker 7: So what?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Stop saying penis, penis? Stop saying penis.
- 40:49Speaker 6: So you found me?
- 40:50Speaker 8: So what.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Bloopers? I went when you gone? Fine? Care murder murder year.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Now it's time for bluebirds.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I'm just so tired of watching myself, every and every
- 41:16Speaker 3: single other woman tie herself into knots so that people
- 41:19Speaker 3: will like us.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And if all of that is true, nay, did you
- 41:24Speaker 1: fart for a doll representing a woman I don't even know?
- 41:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, still barting?
- 41:32Speaker 4: Hey, can somebody open this door? I can't seem to
- 41:34Speaker 4: open this door.
- 41:35Speaker 6: Okay, that's because it's unlocked.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Stop this off, top, I like to turn off the movie. Why.
- 41:46Speaker 5: I just don't even know what it is.
- 41:50Speaker 4: That's really rich actually from from you, because like for me,
- 41:54Speaker 4: it's actually like a for me.
- 41:58Speaker 6: Are you getting emotional?
- 41:59Speaker 4: No, I'm not getting emotional. I just think it's a
- 42:01Speaker 4: lot for any artist to I think sometimes he's doing later.
- 42:04Speaker 1: What are you doing later? What are you doing later?
- 42:06Speaker 1: What are you doing later?
- 42:06Speaker 6: Even alone?
- 42:09Speaker 12: What?
- 42:10Speaker 7: What was that?
- 42:15Speaker 4: Oh?
- 42:16Speaker 7: No, she's starting to cry.
- 42:17Speaker 5: You guys want to go get when you cry it
- 42:18Speaker 5: so loud?
- 42:19Speaker 1: Please?
- 42:20Speaker 4: Oh?
- 42:20Speaker 7: No, is she gonna cry?
- 42:23Speaker 4: Yeah? Your mom's like crazy.
- 42:32Speaker 1: No, my mom's.
- 42:35Speaker 5: She's in danger. Your mom's in danger.
- 42:38Speaker 1: How do I turn it off? Hey?
- 42:43Speaker 4: I just want to say, actually, I guess from like
- 42:47Speaker 4: this is from a general place and a genuine place.
- 42:51Speaker 4: I really enjoyed making this movie with you, from a
- 42:56Speaker 4: general beating place, like to sum up, and I actually
- 43:00Speaker 4: really like making this movie with all you guys. And
- 43:02Speaker 4: I think I think I'm gonna be talking about this
- 43:05Speaker 4: specific movie for the rest of my life, like it
- 43:08Speaker 4: was really really important.
- 43:09Speaker 7: Ba Hey, Yeah, when you give me ride home later,
- 43:13Speaker 7: can you go slow because my stomach really hurts.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I literally told you, I literally told you this would happen.
- 43:22Speaker 7: I think I had to learn it from myself.
- 43:24Speaker 1: No, you didn't. If you would listen, if you had
- 43:27Speaker 1: listened to the people around you, if we could have
- 43:30Speaker 1: told you that if you eat too much candy, you're
- 43:32Speaker 1: gonna you're gonna have a stomach ache.
- 43:33Speaker 7: I think I had to learn this from myself.
- 43:35Speaker 1: No, you didn't.
- 43:36Speaker 7: I think I had to know for myself what it
- 43:38Speaker 7: would be.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Cody, Why are you talking like that because my stomach hurts?
- 43:42Speaker 1: Do you think that was the real movie all along? Wait?
- 43:46Speaker 1: What you kept saying? The movie was two.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Minutes and thirty seconds because there was no change, no transformation,
- 43:52Speaker 3: The creature never evolved.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Maybe this whole time, Cody is the creature.
- 43:57Speaker 4: That's right, And I'm glad you figured it out because
- 43:59Speaker 4: I actually been filming this whole time. You guys thought
- 44:04Speaker 4: I was just some dumb high schooler, but I'm actually
- 44:08Speaker 4: the next Steven Spilberg, the next Spilberg. Sielberg, No Spilbirdsbert.
- 44:15Speaker 4: I'm almost positive it's Spilberg. I couldn't get it wrong.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Silbert.
- 44:19Speaker 4: I a Shilbird, Spilbird Spilbert. It's definitely Stephen Spilbert. So
- 44:25Speaker 4: what I've been doing this whole time is actually a
- 44:27Speaker 4: piece about senior year, and I was seeing how much
- 44:32Speaker 4: I could push you guys, and how much I could
- 44:34Speaker 4: pull you guys to actually write something genuine about our
- 44:37Speaker 4: generation that hasn't been said yet, like because everybody. For me,
- 44:42Speaker 4: I don't know, it's just the same hoopla. For me,
- 44:52Speaker 4: it's all the same hooplaw this app that app Hey.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Si, Hey Siri, Hey Siri? What's a butt look like?
- 44:59Speaker 4: Okay, so this is actually what it's like for me,
- 45:02Speaker 4: Like it's not about.
- 45:03Speaker 5: The ass hey series, show me a picture of old boobs.
- 45:06Speaker 1: You don't old boom old old boobs? Do you see
- 45:12Speaker 1: what we deal with?
- 45:13Speaker 6: This is literally this is twenty four to seven.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Shut up already.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Stop that one felt means stop it, stop it, put
- 45:20Speaker 1: that down for the put it Cody, I will lose
- 45:28Speaker 1: my mind. If you throw up in my dad's cambri,
- 45:31Speaker 1: I will lose my mind.
- 45:33Speaker 5: I have to These were only a dollar at the Peprelly.
- 45:37Speaker 1: That's a bad deal. I guess there's a part two.
