- 0:17Speaker 3: Who Oh.
- 0:20Speaker 2: That is fantastic work. I'm talking to you about me.

- 0:32Speaker 4: the Odd Pods media network. Oh hey, party people, I
- 0:59Speaker 4: didn't see there. Hello in Yeah, we're just having a
- 1:03Speaker 4: party with our good friend and today's guest, Bill mannis.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Welcome. Bill.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Hi, Hey, how goes it?
- 1:18Speaker 5: It goes well?
- 1:19Speaker 2: Bill hosts Midnight after Noon Special.
- 1:23Speaker 4: No, no, I got this. Wait, I got this. It's
- 1:25Speaker 4: the after school midlife special.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Yay, Wow, good job.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Mid Life Crisis Afternoon. I'm never gonna get it right.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And I apologize Bill.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Nope, You're fine. I picked the most complicated name that
- 1:41Speaker 5: everybody likes but nobody can remember.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Plus, I I may just be chaos and throw everyone's
- 1:50Speaker 2: memory off.
- 1:51Speaker 4: You are you? You are a little bit muffin sometimes,
- 1:54Speaker 4: but queen, yeah, you're You're flamingo. Queen and cow Boy
- 2:01Speaker 4: hat muffin.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Oh boy hat Phil, We're gonna have to do Blue
- 2:07Speaker 2: on your show before we hit our podcast off the car?
- 2:10Speaker 4: Fucking dare you?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Oh, it's not. We're all busy, man, it's.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I know, it's bad. My mom was like, you know,
- 2:18Speaker 4: you complain about how busy you are all the time,
- 2:21Speaker 4: and I was like yeah, and she's like, you made
- 2:24Speaker 4: all these shows.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I'm the problem, mom.
- 2:29Speaker 4: I only have one show that's technically mine. Now I'm
- 2:33Speaker 4: just on other people's shows.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That's yeah, do.
- 2:38Speaker 4: But I'm still there's like this little pile of like
- 2:41Speaker 4: scripts that I'm like, just like itch and they're not scripts,
- 2:44Speaker 4: so just ideas in my head. But that like concept
- 2:47Speaker 4: of like three things that I just wish was happening.
- 2:50Speaker 4: One is Blue, the other is my Disney. And then
- 2:54Speaker 4: I'm thinking of bringing back A and E sans the
- 2:57Speaker 4: A and calling it it.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So just and E.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Okay, sure I was going to call it everything with Aaron,
- 3:07Speaker 4: but sure that's fine too.
- 3:11Speaker 2: That works Aaron and Aaron story. So how's Bill as
- 3:18Speaker 2: a producer? Is he a dick?
- 3:21Speaker 4: Oh?
- 3:21Speaker 2: Shi, No, I'm just asking. I didn't imply anything with
- 3:27Speaker 2: my question.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I no, no, he's only with my face. He's terrific.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I love working with Bill.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Just teasing you. Where's our producer? By the way she is,
- 3:41Speaker 2: She had been, Uh, it's.
- 3:44Speaker 3: From the corner of the couch. I oh, no object,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I know.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's like spot the abbey.
- 3:57Speaker 4: She's looking around.
- 4:02Speaker 2: You found the abbey.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Hooray. Oh yeah, the prize is poop. In the middle
- 4:12Speaker 4: of one of my training sessions today, all of a sudden,
- 4:14Speaker 4: I was like, does smell like shitting here? What does
- 4:18Speaker 4: that smell? And so then when the thing was over
- 4:21Speaker 4: and it was time for me to go to the
- 4:22Speaker 4: bathroom and then wake her up to go outside, I
- 4:25Speaker 4: was like, oh, I see, you've already taken a shit
- 4:27Speaker 4: in my living room. Perfect. He was like, just out
- 4:30Speaker 4: of eyesight, and I was like, well, that's why it
- 4:34Speaker 4: smelled like poop in my room. Perfect.
- 4:37Speaker 2: It's a good work.
- 4:39Speaker 4: She's old and she's keeping me young by keeping me
- 4:41Speaker 4: jumping around the house cleaning.
- 4:43Speaker 2: That's yeah, yep, good work, Abby.
- 4:46Speaker 4: What about you do you jump around the house and
- 4:48Speaker 4: clean up pooh?
- 4:49Speaker 5: Mister mannis no occasionally run around the backyard into it?
- 4:54Speaker 2: You got what two dogs?
- 4:55Speaker 5: Yeah? Two black laps.
- 4:57Speaker 2: How big are they?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Ah, they about seventy eighty pounds.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Oh, so they're taking good size. They're probably taking dumps
- 5:04Speaker 2: the size of Abby.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Yeah it's just me, Yes, Abbey, I'm much bigger than
- 5:13Speaker 4: a poop.
- 5:15Speaker 2: But these dogs are pretty big.
- 5:17Speaker 4: They're pretty big. Yeah, yeah, she actually comparatively for Abby's size,
- 5:23Speaker 4: I feel like her shits are too big, Like I
- 5:25Speaker 4: feel like her should be like a step above, like
- 5:27Speaker 4: a rabbit or deer sized poops. Mega eats, maybe fucking
- 5:33Speaker 4: tiny Elvis Presley over here, mega colon.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Abbey's like a snake. She takes forever to digest what
- 5:41Speaker 5: she has, so it just adds all up.
- 5:45Speaker 4: This is such a weird tangent. But you're welcome. I
- 5:49Speaker 4: was watching Jack Hannah the other night before bed because
- 5:52Speaker 4: I forgot to take my book in and it's been
- 5:54Speaker 4: so cold here at night that I didn't want to
- 5:56Speaker 4: get out from under the covers again, and so I
- 5:58Speaker 4: was like, fuck it, I'll just fall asleep. Animals when
- 6:01Speaker 4: I put Jack Hannah on, and there was some like
- 6:04Speaker 4: very rare animal that fell from the canopy and this
- 6:07Speaker 4: like exotic location and this animal rescue was gonna save
- 6:10Speaker 4: its life, and they put it in this cage outside
- 6:13Speaker 4: to make sure that like it could walk again and
- 6:16Speaker 4: that it hadn't been too injured from the fall in
- 6:18Speaker 4: the tree. And this fucking giant boa constricter squeezed through
- 6:24Speaker 4: the bars of this cage. And when they couldn't find
- 6:28Speaker 4: the thing in the morning and they rounded the cage,
- 6:30Speaker 4: they found this fat snake stuck because now it couldn't
- 6:33Speaker 4: get out with the animal and its belly. And I
- 6:37Speaker 4: was like, you're trying to do a nice thing, trying
- 6:40Speaker 4: to repopulate this like dense jungle area with this like
- 6:44Speaker 4: endangered animal and to get killed.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like that's we should have brought it inside or something.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Fuck it feels wrong right like they did that they
- 6:56Speaker 4: park Well, yeah, I think I think we all knew
- 7:00Speaker 4: what was going to happen to the goat. These people
- 7:02Speaker 4: were trying to repopulate.
- 7:04Speaker 2: The Yeah, you know, they walked out time they went
- 7:12Speaker 2: ooh are bad.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Anyway, that's you're welcome your snake, Happy birthday early anyway,
- 7:28Speaker 4: Well enough silliness and sadness. Rip animal. That's name. I
- 7:33Speaker 4: couldn't even remember because the snake story was so traumatic,
- 7:37Speaker 4: I forgot what the specific animal was let's hear about
- 7:41Speaker 4: the show that we are going to watch today. Our girls,
- 7:44Speaker 4: we love them and it's.
- 7:46Speaker 2: You know, hello. Today we are talking about season three,
- 7:51Speaker 2: episode thirteen, The Artist. The original air date was December nineteenth,
- 7:58Speaker 2: nineteen eighty seven, directed by Terry Hughes, written by Christopher
- 8:02Speaker 2: Lloyd not An Christopher Bill and Kristen. What do you
- 8:09Speaker 2: think the Artist will be about?
- 8:11Speaker 4: Prince Good?
- 8:13Speaker 5: Guess somebody's boyfriend.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Somebody's boyfriend as an artist.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I think one of them is dating an artist.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I think what type of artist? Oh, I'm sorry, I
- 8:29Speaker 2: don't know. It's take a guess a painter. Okay, Kristin,
- 8:34Speaker 2: what do you think?
- 8:35Speaker 3: I think it's a painter?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Right, But this is a painter who all the ladies
- 8:42Speaker 1: are going to to get their portrait painted.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Oh, like like individually or like a yeah, individually? Okay,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I like it.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Nor really I would throw shade on your plotline, but
- 8:53Speaker 4: I literally this week created a AI portrait of my
- 8:57Speaker 4: dog and I in the style of friend uh baroque painting.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Maybe to share that on the socials.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Yeah, so that sounds like what people our age should do,
- 9:10Speaker 4: get paintings of themselves made. Obviously, not Ai, Yeah, don't
- 9:15Speaker 4: do it. If I, if I hadn't been trying to
- 9:17Speaker 4: replicate an artist, that I would never be able to
- 9:20Speaker 4: paint that way on my own.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I was gonna say, you are an artist and it's Ai.
- 9:26Speaker 4: I just I've never been good and hurt your soul.
- 9:29Speaker 4: It did. Oh, it hurt my soul so bad. But
- 9:32Speaker 4: I was like, what's more perfectly Abby and I to immortalize.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Our love than this like Elizabeth.
- 9:41Speaker 4: No, it's like a there's a famous Marie Antoinette painting
- 9:44Speaker 4: of her and her baby and so, and then there's
- 9:47Speaker 4: one of her and her baby after her and a
- 9:51Speaker 4: child when the other baby died, and they're all in black,
- 9:54Speaker 4: and so I was like, this is gonna be my
- 9:56Speaker 4: like forever portrait of Abbey. It should be this like morose,
- 9:59Speaker 4: but like beautiful tribute to our relationship and look very
- 10:05Speaker 4: proper because we're trash humans. Like it's so different than
- 10:09Speaker 4: what we are. It's what we want the world to think.
- 10:11Speaker 4: And I loved it. It's all I hoped for.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You didn't want to do the Goya Saturn eating son.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Look that painting up, No, I know what that is.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I just I want.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I wanted it to be pretty not yeah, just different,
- 10:32Speaker 4: very different, Yes, all right.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Having to be a little sandwich. Okay, what who will
- 10:41Speaker 2: be the villain? The hardest for Aaron to prove of
- 10:46Speaker 2: this episode, that is the villain?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Go, I have no idea. The title is so vague.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It could be about anybody.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, take about it.
- 10:55Speaker 3: We haven't done Sofia in a while.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I was thinking of Sofia. That's understan.
- 11:03Speaker 4: No, just waiting for you guys to pick a villain.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Just do a little waiting dance.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Okay, so yeah, yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Sophie to me, he to me, I'm the villain. Well
- 11:27Speaker 2: with that in mind.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Oh, I forget.
- 11:32Speaker 2: No, you can talk, Kristen, say a few words.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Then no, I'm good now, I just well.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Aaron juts down her notes about who the villain will be.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You should listen to these ads, and we're gonna go
- 11:44Speaker 1: watch the episode and we'll be right back.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Hey may ask me Kevin Smith. Everybody knows at the
- 11:49Speaker 6: root of any good relationship, any relationship worth anything, is
- 11:53Speaker 6: the only thing that matters between two people. And I'm
- 11:56Speaker 6: talking about television. That's right, That's why you should listen.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Married with television man which was a podcast by my
- 12:02Speaker 6: friends Shannon and Jamie. I call it Catters about movies
- 12:06Speaker 6: and TV that they have loved for decades. Man, you
- 12:09Speaker 6: listen at Married with tv dot com or anywhere you
- 12:13Speaker 6: get your podcasts. They are proud members of the Odd
- 12:16Speaker 6: Pods media network Man Married with Television.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Kristin, I did what you said, and I came back Yay,
- 12:27Speaker 2: good listening, Gina, Thank you.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Active listening with Kristin and Gina.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I watched the episode like a good little girl. I'm
- 12:38Speaker 2: so proud of you and I only talked minimally over it.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Old Star. Well, we did talk a couple times, like
- 12:45Speaker 4: I can honestly say that there were a couple of
- 12:47Speaker 4: times I was like because I knew a question was
- 12:50Speaker 4: coming up, or like info for question was coming up
- 12:53Speaker 4: for the quiz. So we were a little you and
- 12:55Speaker 4: I were a little silly chatty. But sorry.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I have a hard time listening to the chat, taking
- 13:01Speaker 1: notes and watching the episode, so I tune you guys out,
- 13:05Speaker 1: which is why I'll make comments after the fact, like.
- 13:10Speaker 2: The strategy tune me out well.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Because I'm trying to attention to three things at once.
- 13:16Speaker 3: That's too many pop windows.
- 13:18Speaker 4: I appreciate that you're giving me the like spouse treatment
- 13:21Speaker 4: since I don't have my own spouse to do that
- 13:24Speaker 4: to me.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Yep, sure, I love you.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yeah, do you ever do that? You just like you
- 13:30Speaker 2: turn your head towards them, but you still you're like,
- 13:33Speaker 2: I'm sorry what I know you said something, but I
- 13:36Speaker 2: have no idea.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Jeremy, I'll agree with me.
- 13:39Speaker 3: And then I look at him. I said, you have
- 13:40Speaker 3: any idea? What I just said? No?
- 13:42Speaker 4: No, Yeah, you're.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Better After a certain point, you just say no.
- 13:50Speaker 2: The TV was talking.
- 13:52Speaker 4: You guys make it sounds so good, like I just
- 13:55Speaker 4: I man, I hope one of my ninety six dates
- 13:58Speaker 4: works out. Anyway. Let's talk about something that never disappoints,
- 14:05Speaker 4: The Golden Girls.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, Bill, what'd you think I enjoyed it?
- 14:10Speaker 5: It's I've always enjoyed The Golden Girls. I don't get
- 14:12Speaker 5: a chance to watch it as often as I should.
- 14:14Speaker 4: But I feel like you sounded surprised when you said that.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I don't.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't remember what the last one we had
- 14:21Speaker 2: him on was. Was it a good one?
- 14:23Speaker 5: It was the baby one? I think.
- 14:27Speaker 3: The pig episode.
- 14:29Speaker 5: By Yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Baby and one for the Money, Yeah, got it? Look
- 14:36Speaker 4: at that organizational skills. Love it. One for the money,
- 14:41Speaker 4: two for the show, three to get right now, go
- 14:44Speaker 4: ka go, don't you it was?
- 14:46Speaker 2: I actually liked the B plot better. I think you
- 14:49Speaker 2: like the pranking door, Sophia.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it just made me giggle. I liked it.
- 14:55Speaker 4: You mean the zany Bee plot, because yeah, it has
- 14:58Speaker 4: to be something crazy happening.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't like anything too heavy in the A plot.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It wasn't anything like sad or anything.
- 15:08Speaker 4: It's always worse when it's something sad, but this one
- 15:12Speaker 4: was still like, we've never seen it. We're three seasons in,
- 15:16Speaker 4: you know, we're more than halfway through the third season
- 15:20Speaker 4: at the first point, we're like fifty one percent through,
- 15:23Speaker 4: and we haven't ever seen her be that level of
- 15:26Speaker 4: a prankster, if at all before. She's a little wicked,
- 15:31Speaker 4: but like anyway, and also I can't say the word
- 15:34Speaker 4: wicked without thinking I feel wicked. Yep, cool, we probably Oh,
- 15:42Speaker 4: I don't know someone money, now what's up? Let's just
- 15:45Speaker 4: do the quiz before someone sues us for.
- 15:48Speaker 2: It's very reminiscent of the actor though, too oh for sure.
- 15:53Speaker 4: But I like that episode better.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I think so too. Yeah, with blanches boobies exploding.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a good one. And then they're flat
- 16:02Speaker 4: the townspeople and Dorothy has to be the sheriff. Yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 4: oh god, alright.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Well, quizz us quiz Master.
- 16:14Speaker 4: This quizz is also a little lighter than usual because
- 16:17Speaker 4: we didn't, as Gina mentioned coming back from the break,
- 16:20Speaker 4: we didn't have a sand ol Off story, and we
- 16:22Speaker 4: didn't have a picture It story. So there's a few
- 16:25Speaker 4: less lists, probably than you're used to in my quizzes.
- 16:28Speaker 3: You're welcome more background items.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Gina pinak horse, but.
- 16:37Speaker 4: It's it's unglazed. It's actually unglazed terra cotta pottery. If
- 16:43Speaker 4: you want to remember that. Holy well, that's just what
- 16:49Speaker 4: that's what unglazed terricotta looks like. And it's not a
- 16:53Speaker 4: question on today's quiz, but if that horse is there,
- 16:55Speaker 4: like in future episodes, it will be because we have
- 16:58Speaker 4: all talked about it now. And I can't not be
- 17:00Speaker 4: held accountable for bullshit in the background. I should call
- 17:07Speaker 4: I should make one bullshit background question a week today.
- 17:14Speaker 4: I did notice that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: When we're starting to look for things.
- 17:18Speaker 4: When the guy sat down on the couch, I can't
- 17:21Speaker 4: say his name yet, but when the guy sat down
- 17:24Speaker 4: on the couch. His shoulder pad was bumping into one
- 17:27Speaker 4: of those like porcelain women that's back there figurines, and
- 17:31Speaker 4: I was like, you're gonna knock over a briceless heirloom.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Stop anyway, Okay, let's go enough silliness, or if the
- 17:41Speaker 4: webpage is active, you hit the space bar to buzz in.
- 17:44Speaker 4: All right, So question one, who does Sophia say is
- 17:52Speaker 4: funnier than Maury Hazeltine?
- 17:56Speaker 2: Dang that, Kristen FOLLI.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Dang that Kristin Farley. She says, alright, Kristin, what's the answer?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Howie Mandel?
- 18:07Speaker 2: That is correct, we're Farley and Farley. I can't let
- 18:15Speaker 2: that die.
- 18:17Speaker 4: All right, I'm gonna just jot that, and.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Following, oh my god, sorry, and Baylor too.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Who would Baylor be?
- 18:31Speaker 2: I don't know a third one for no reason.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Okay, thought's cool. That's cool. I like it.
- 18:36Speaker 3: And the ghost.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Oh my god, yeah, just put him in the an
- 18:45Speaker 4: and symbol.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, a ghostly answer Ampersand.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Why does Sophia say she was embarrassed? And yes, Kristin,
- 18:58Speaker 4: you can give me the whole story. This time.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Her belt came loose to the construction site, and no
- 19:06Speaker 1: one whistled, and two people went home sick.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yes, was fantastic.
- 19:14Speaker 4: No one listed to sick. What I want to say
- 19:21Speaker 4: is not poor Sophia because she kept flashing her roommates
- 19:24Speaker 4: even though they were super not interested in it. I'm
- 19:26Speaker 4: just saying.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Anyway, they're like, yeah, we know, we have those bits.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Yeah, except that some of us don't need to iron
- 19:33Speaker 4: ours all right. Oh what is the name of hold on? Sorry, guys,
- 19:40Speaker 4: I failed you this time. What is the name of
- 19:43Speaker 4: the artist? Damn? Okay, Kristen just just uh three hundred
- 19:50Speaker 4: and seventy four milliseconds faster than Gina is.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Great Laslow Gregorian?
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah, wow, impressive.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Oh she did last.
- 20:00Speaker 4: I'd give you the extra point for the last name,
- 20:02Speaker 4: but I didn't ask for it.
- 20:04Speaker 3: So that's what his name was. I hat you his name.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And his middle name.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Please, And speaking of shoes, and I apologize this question
- 20:20Speaker 4: is slightly out of order. But speaking of shoes.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Where did the shoes buzzer reset?
- 20:26Speaker 4: Am I done with the question?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Mister manis phil learn from Vincent? Don't say it and
- 20:32Speaker 2: don't interrupt her.
- 20:34Speaker 3: We have subjects.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Where did the shoe salesman take polaroids of Blanche. Mm hm, oh,
- 20:44Speaker 4: Belle got it first. Okay, bell ware.
- 20:46Speaker 5: The xceed of a vour laire.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Of a what it's a Voleri volario And let me
- 20:55Speaker 4: tell you something, guys, there is a no stump bonus.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Who manufactured the valerie?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Well sounds Italian.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Bill's gonna try, Yeah, that's true. No, okay, it was
- 21:17Speaker 4: a Plymouth valerie and they were like terrible cars. That's
- 21:20Speaker 4: why they were using that as a.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I buzzed, but I would have gotten it wrong. I
- 21:25Speaker 2: was gonna say, Ford, who did you say?
- 21:28Speaker 4: Bill?
- 21:28Speaker 3: I know it couldn't be for.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It was like Ferrari.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Don't Bill got the point for the real question and
- 21:40Speaker 4: no one got that? Okay? Perfect? Question five, according to Sophia,
- 21:46Speaker 4: does Dorothy a little a little like Mariy Hazeltine? Oh,
- 21:53Speaker 4: Gina is great? Was first?
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yes? A little around the eyebrows?
- 21:57Speaker 4: Mm hmmm hmmm mm hmm. Okay, Gina's on the board.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Kristin didn't want to tell everyone the score right now,
- 22:05Speaker 4: since I still have zero.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Gina has one point, Well has one point, Kristin
- 22:14Speaker 1: has three points, and Aaron still has zero points.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Perfect. Thank you so much. I love it great, great,
- 22:21Speaker 4: so great, Next question, son of a bitch wiest Blanche
- 22:28Speaker 4: so mad when she gets back from Loslow studio.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Kristen, I forgot we were.
- 22:39Speaker 5: I was.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Hello, hello Jesus. All right, yes, Kristin, who has now
- 22:48Speaker 4: used the buzzer?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Yes, she got it.
- 22:52Speaker 1: She got a first either way, because there she went
- 22:55Speaker 1: through his artwork and there were sketches of another woman.
- 22:59Speaker 2: No, oh, I don't know.
- 23:07Speaker 5: They were horrible drawings of hers with they were all
- 23:11Speaker 5: saggy and droopy and frizzy hair.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it was that the woman was ugly.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay, I see Sorry, No, that's okay.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I misunderstood.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Well, at least you have some points. I'm well, you know,
- 23:29Speaker 4: because I don't have points. That's fine, all right, let's
- 23:33Speaker 4: just move on. Blanche tells Rose that Ladlow could go
- 23:37Speaker 4: to Sea World if he wanted to see a naked whale.
- 23:39Speaker 4: But where does Rose say he could go? Bill doesn't
- 23:43Speaker 4: count because he buzzed in before.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I'm sorry, because of his buzzing, I missed the second half.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Okay, we'll reset this. You just really lucked out. Bill.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Let me tell you that you really fucking lucked out
- 23:58Speaker 4: on this. I'm watching you bunny.
- 24:00Speaker 2: He was in it.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I'm just kidding you. First one ship, Yeah, it's fine. Well,
- 24:05Speaker 4: I don't know, ask Vincent about that. I think I
- 24:07Speaker 4: punitively took a point away at one point, and he
- 24:11Speaker 4: still wants well, he likes us as a friend. A
- 24:15Speaker 4: great seven question Seven, Blanche tells Rose Laslow could go
- 24:21Speaker 4: to sea World to see a naked whale. But where
- 24:24Speaker 4: does Rose say he could go ship? It's crist.
- 24:32Speaker 3: To your baptub.
- 24:37Speaker 4: That is fucking cold. Okay, resetting those buzzers for you guys.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Why does Rose say she's relieved? Oh, Kristen was first.
- 24:55Speaker 1: She's believed because then the bad sketch was a Dorothy
- 24:59Speaker 1: not her. I have some shade. They're really mean about
- 25:09Speaker 1: each other's physical appearance.
- 25:10Speaker 4: They're so awful to me, so bad. All right, Where
- 25:18Speaker 4: does Blanche say she will keep all three keys to
- 25:21Speaker 4: Laslow's studio?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Dang?
- 25:26Speaker 4: Okay, Kristen her hope chest? Mm hmm. Did any of Bill,
- 25:32Speaker 4: I understand you probably didn't have a hope chest. Did
- 25:35Speaker 4: any of the other women not Bill have a hope
- 25:39Speaker 4: chest growing up? No? I always want to know.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I like the smell of cedar, so I wanted one
- 25:46Speaker 1: I had the start of one.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I had a sort of a small little cedar box
- 25:51Speaker 4: that my mom hate started and like five for ten
- 25:55Speaker 4: years ago, when I was still in California, we came
- 25:57Speaker 4: to the understanding that I no longer needed a hope chest.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Hope chest and those tea towels and things are in
- 26:04Speaker 4: my kitchen because the hope is gone.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I bought my wife one before we got married.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Oh, you bought your wife one.
- 26:13Speaker 4: That's lovely.
- 26:14Speaker 1: She would have hope going into the marriage.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Yes, it's at the end of our bed right now.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I love that. I guess you could say that you're
- 26:22Speaker 4: her obi wan because you gave her only hope chest.
- 26:26Speaker 4: All right, great to reset those buzzers. You're welcome. Next
- 26:32Speaker 4: question please. Sophia says she has the mind of a fox.
- 26:36Speaker 4: But who's butt muscles does she claim to have? Oh? Man,
- 26:43Speaker 4: Kristen is like, so did you practice this buzzer?
- 26:47Speaker 3: I've been warming up my fingers.
- 26:49Speaker 5: I don't want to hear about that.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Prish Nakova, ooh, they're not gonna have to go.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I don't know if you want to give it to
- 27:02Speaker 2: her or not.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna I'm gonna see if Gena can just actually
- 27:08Speaker 4: say the real name. But if not, we'll give you.
- 27:11Speaker 2: The point Bishnikoff.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Yeah It'shnikoff.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Okay, we'll give it to Gina.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Oh she's mad. Did you see that? Look at her
- 27:21Speaker 4: so bad?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Look you're so mad? I know, right, fucking gas light.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Look I just.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you, Bill.
- 27:38Speaker 4: You're want to come leave the toilet seat up at
- 27:40Speaker 4: my house to Dix? All right, you know what, I
- 27:43Speaker 4: might not reset the buzzer. I don't know. Maybe I'll
- 27:46Speaker 4: get this point this time, just kidding. Here we go.
- 27:51Speaker 4: What does Blanche say was the original name for Picasso's
- 27:55Speaker 4: nude woman playing the violin?
- 27:58Speaker 5: Oh, Bill was quick, Blanche played the violin, but it
- 28:04Speaker 5: wasn't a violin.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Yes, a peepe.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Think of that when you have your chisel in your hand. Sorry,
- 28:18Speaker 1: you be careful, I know.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Are you in trouble?
- 28:23Speaker 4: You can't really get in more trouble than you're already in.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Oh well then, oh well then bucket, you can only
- 28:31Speaker 1: dig so far.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Don't tell someone that.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Okay, that's all that's at next question, are you guys ready?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Ready?
- 28:41Speaker 4: Okay? In the end, who is the inspiration for the statue?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Oh?
- 28:47Speaker 4: Gina is great?
- 28:49Speaker 2: All three ladies Rose Blench and Dorothy.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, perfect, perfect trio.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Next question in the end, who is Laslow actually interested in.
- 29:05Speaker 4: I don't remember his name, Bill.
- 29:08Speaker 5: I don't know his name, but he was the host
- 29:10Speaker 5: of the gallery.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I know his name, but that's what you know
- 29:16Speaker 4: his name because of the credit. We're gonna give Bill
- 29:20Speaker 4: the point because I wrote down gallery owner slash curator.
- 29:25Speaker 4: We didn't actually learn his name.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I didn't think we did, but I will tell you
- 29:30Speaker 2: his name.
- 29:31Speaker 4: And okay, well we have two questions and then you
- 29:34Speaker 4: can do it. Which of the following was not a
- 29:39Speaker 4: gag that Sophia used? Was it a a dribble glass,
- 29:44Speaker 4: B peanut brittle, C, A telescope or D A hand buzzer?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Fuck god, damn you Christen for her telescope is the
- 29:58Speaker 1: only one she didn't trick anybody with.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Correct And also it wasn't all it was a kaleidoscope,
- 30:07Speaker 2: all right, You got that right?
- 30:09Speaker 4: By the skin of your teeth, just barely got that right.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you might want to get rid of the skin
- 30:15Speaker 2: on your teeth. Yeah, maybe that's why you're allergic to gluten.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's actually a skin teeth allergy.
- 30:25Speaker 2: All right, Vagina.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Okay, next question, last line, what is it? Damn it.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Don't a change cat.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Except like not southern. But yeah, we'll give you the point.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Can you say that again?
- 30:49Speaker 1: I like it, don't have a change the cat.
- 30:53Speaker 2: She said it like it was the end of a
- 30:54Speaker 2: Burt Reynolds movie or something.
- 30:56Speaker 4: No, I'm pretty sure she's see the guys are all wrong.
- 31:01Speaker 4: She's rehearsing for a community theater version of Steel Magnolia's Fun.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Fun Fact, guys, just real quick, before we move on
- 31:11Speaker 4: to the the trivia, I'll give you Scabbaretti family history.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Back in the eighties, my dad and I both did
- 31:18Speaker 4: theater at this place called Patio Playhouse in Escondido, California,
- 31:22Speaker 4: and I did a lot of kids shows there. I
- 31:25Speaker 4: actually did a show with someone that I still know
- 31:27Speaker 4: and that I have lost touch with over the years.
- 31:30Speaker 4: But my dad, because he had seen the Steel Magnolia's movie,
- 31:34Speaker 4: went down to audition for Steel Magnolia's the Play. Now.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I don't know what you guys know about Steel Magnolia's
- 31:40Speaker 4: The Play, but it is a all female cast. There
- 31:43Speaker 4: are no men in it, oh, just centered around the
- 31:47Speaker 4: women's scenes in the barbershop or in the house, but
- 31:50Speaker 4: it's only the women together, and so my dad shows
- 31:53Speaker 4: up and this poor director, this nice lady let my
- 31:57Speaker 4: dad go ahead and like audition so that he wasn't embarrassed,
- 32:01Speaker 4: and then pulled him aside and was like, Tom, there's
- 32:05Speaker 4: no men in this version. And he was like, oh,
- 32:10Speaker 4: thank you. But but my dad later got a review
- 32:17Speaker 4: about how great he was in Sound of Music as
- 32:20Speaker 4: Captain von Trapp, when he actually had only played the butler.
- 32:25Speaker 4: So his his Escondido Theater theater at Journey was a
- 32:29Speaker 4: real fucking roller coaster.
- 32:31Speaker 5: I still talk.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I wanted them to cast him as the lead of
- 32:35Speaker 2: Steel Magnolias because he was so good. Tom Weerwick, you're
- 32:39Speaker 2: doing this.
- 32:40Speaker 4: You're Shelby now, Okay, you're gonna have a little.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Who cares it's community theater. That would have been so good.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Anyway. That's sorry, that was my story. What kind of
- 32:53Speaker 4: tribute do you have that's applicable to our actual show?
- 32:56Speaker 4: Gin know?
- 32:57Speaker 2: Okay?
- 33:00Speaker 4: Wait, who won the quiz?
- 33:03Speaker 2: WHOA Sorry?
- 33:04Speaker 4: I got all busy? Tell him the Tom story? Who
- 33:07Speaker 4: won the quiz?
- 33:08Speaker 2: I put my compete a little Okay, that's a hazard
- 33:13Speaker 2: at RGE. Wait, no, I'm good Aaron got zero.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yayporea cut three, Bill got four, and Kristen got eight.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Holy shit, I cheered for you, erin thank you for
- 33:33Speaker 4: cheering for me.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I cheer for you.
- 33:36Speaker 4: It's always nice to know you have a friend. Anyway,
- 33:40Speaker 4: what got trivia?
- 33:41Speaker 5: Please? So?
- 33:42Speaker 2: Playing Loslow was Tony j He did a lot of
- 33:46Speaker 2: voiceover work. He was Claude Frollo in Disney's Hunchback.
- 33:51Speaker 4: That's what it was. I knew. I knew that from
- 33:53Speaker 4: something that like I watched a lot.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Something I knew him for more was he played Megabyte
- 33:59Speaker 2: in Reboot and Bill. I think that'd be a great show.
- 34:07Speaker 2: That was a great villain too. Monte Landez played Victor,
- 34:12Speaker 2: which was the person he was romantically interested in. He
- 34:16Speaker 2: was in Peewe's Big Adventure and Real Genius. Adam Small
- 34:19Speaker 2: was uncredited as the security guard. He was a writer
- 34:22Speaker 2: on Jackass.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Oh, he should have got a credit.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Was Harry?
- 34:29Speaker 4: He was Harry. Yeah, that was almost a question. I
- 34:31Speaker 4: can't believe he didn't get a credit. God damn it.
- 34:36Speaker 2: She did say Harry, right, yeah, good catch, and he.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Had lines was credited.
- 34:43Speaker 2: He's IMDb might be wrong. It's possible.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I found that a few times.
- 34:49Speaker 2: And yes they have writers on Jackass, and by writers
- 34:52Speaker 2: they mean like vague concepts I think.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Like most reality shows.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Sorry, so what you're telling me is that that guy
- 34:59Speaker 4: that was security guard later got paid to be like, hey,
- 35:02Speaker 4: let's hit your dick with a hammer.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yess for, let's put Fred Pitt in a monkey suit
- 35:11Speaker 2: in Japan and see what happened.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's less vomitous. Maybe I don't know cool?
- 35:18Speaker 2: So what I don't know if y'all noticed, and I
- 35:22Speaker 2: watched it on my own prior to this, just this
- 35:25Speaker 2: scene when Blanche sits on the whoopee cushion, you can
- 35:30Speaker 2: hear it go off just before she sits down. They
- 35:34Speaker 2: played it just too early.
- 35:37Speaker 4: No, I didn't even notice. I what I noticed about
- 35:41Speaker 4: Blanche in this episode when she got up from the couch.
- 35:44Speaker 4: When Laslow does his whole thing about like breathless and
- 35:48Speaker 4: passionate and whatever the sexy line he gives that, the
- 35:52Speaker 4: women are like, oh yeah about when she gets up
- 35:56Speaker 4: and I think it was an accident her. I was wondering, Yeah,
- 36:00Speaker 4: I missaw and her like slouchy top fell off her
- 36:04Speaker 4: shoulder and it was such like an on character characteristically
- 36:09Speaker 4: like she was all hot, yeah, and but it worked,
- 36:13Speaker 4: whether it was on purpose on accident, it fucking killed
- 36:17Speaker 4: acid like Bob Ross.
- 36:19Speaker 1: But her clothes matched the color of the door in
- 36:22Speaker 1: the studio too, Like it was the same colors.
- 36:26Speaker 4: That door was like ninety seven colors.
- 36:29Speaker 2: It was all like pastel.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it was. It was weird blue.
- 36:34Speaker 5: I just don't ever pay attention to the clothes other
- 36:36Speaker 5: than I'm like, I think grandma, my grandma wears something
- 36:39Speaker 5: like that.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Bless you well.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I mean, you're not a lady, so you'd probably never
- 36:44Speaker 2: wear those clothes.
- 36:45Speaker 4: I mean, you probably wouldn't have, like.
- 36:48Speaker 2: No judgment, Bill, wear whatever you like.
- 36:50Speaker 4: A flap for no reason. The size of a sheet
- 36:53Speaker 4: of like notebook paper with like eight buttons on it
- 36:57Speaker 4: on a smock.
- 36:58Speaker 5: Right, looked like she could be fronting the adam Ant.
- 37:02Speaker 4: That's really mean to adam Ant.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Honestly, you're so physical, okay. Barishtakoff was a pretty eminent
- 37:13Speaker 2: mal male ballet danza in the seventies and eighties. Roy Liechtenstein,
- 37:19Speaker 2: the gals had to help me with this one. Credit
- 37:21Speaker 2: to Aaron and Kristen h is a real pop culture
- 37:24Speaker 2: artist and a Bill to a real pop culture artist.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Uh did what did you say?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Point pointalism? But he used a certain kind of dot.
- 37:33Speaker 4: It was the like bendet or something. Oh look, you
- 37:36Speaker 4: keep looking, I'll tell you the name of.
- 37:37Speaker 2: The and then. But Sophia said lickten. Fine, so we're
- 37:41Speaker 2: thinking that was the joke, a name for the fake
- 37:43Speaker 2: art piece, which was nothing of the pointalism. It was
- 37:47Speaker 2: just some sculpture thing.
- 37:48Speaker 4: It was a sculpture.
- 37:49Speaker 5: Okay, Yeah, it's comic y.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Yeah, the benda.
- 37:53Speaker 2: So if you guys look it up, you will probably
- 37:55Speaker 2: know it.
- 37:56Speaker 4: It's that like it looks like a it looks like
- 37:59Speaker 4: a water color painting book for children because it's all
- 38:02Speaker 4: those little colored dots. And if it was a kid's book,
- 38:06Speaker 4: that would become a beautiful water color painting with your
- 38:09Speaker 4: magic pen. But this is a cool art form.
- 38:13Speaker 2: And this was a light episode. That's all I have
- 38:15Speaker 2: for you, unless anyone noticed anything else.
- 38:18Speaker 4: No, just that horse that you guys better fucking remember
- 38:21Speaker 4: terra cotta.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Horse unglazed terra cotta.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Because he was it was not shiny, and it wasn't
- 38:28Speaker 4: like a darker It would have been a darker like
- 38:30Speaker 4: reddish rust color was glazed, but it was sort of
- 38:34Speaker 4: a sum on a.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Pone dance the Golden Girl's House.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Fun fun fact. Sophia was a total villain this episode.
- 38:46Speaker 4: And here's why.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Tell me.
- 38:49Speaker 4: First of all, I just want to say, who doesn't
- 38:51Speaker 4: like Howie Mandel? He's a national treasure? Fucking Bobby's World Comedy.
- 38:56Speaker 2: There's another one for you, Billy.
- 39:00Speaker 4: First thing out of her mouth about someone not being funny,
- 39:05Speaker 4: and she picks some poor Howie Mandel. He has that
- 39:09Speaker 4: thing about touching stack. He's like, a Now, you're just
- 39:14Speaker 4: picking on people with special needs, Sofia, what the fuck?
- 39:18Speaker 2: Next time he blew up a condom on his head
- 39:20Speaker 2: with his nose, I'll have you know in one of
- 39:22Speaker 2: his specials, I'm proud.
- 39:24Speaker 5: I was like, that's what it got known for. Was
- 39:26Speaker 5: that and doing Bobby?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Or was it a condom or was it a rubber glove?
- 39:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Both. I think at one points.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Now he's a judge on a GT or No.
- 39:41Speaker 4: He's the host of a g T I think is
- 39:44Speaker 4: or no?
- 39:44Speaker 7: No?
- 39:45Speaker 4: Is he a judge?
- 39:45Speaker 3: He's been a judge.
- 39:47Speaker 4: He's a judge. Watched No, he was the host of.
- 39:52Speaker 2: No Deal Deal.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Yeah that's right, Okay, Anyway, that's enough about how I
- 39:57Speaker 4: mandel national treasure.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Let's also in our podcast next week about how we.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Let's talk about Sophia. Let's get back to why she's
- 40:05Speaker 4: such a bad bitch.
- 40:06Speaker 2: In this that's my girl, bad bitch.
- 40:09Speaker 4: She keeps pranking her daughter like mercilessly, like Dorothy's life
- 40:12Speaker 4: is hard enough. Dorothy can't get a date. Everyone tells
- 40:16Speaker 4: her she's ugly, she's very tall, all of her shoes
- 40:20Speaker 4: weirdly show off her old lady feet, and her own
- 40:24Speaker 4: mom is now pranking her with dribble glasses and all
- 40:29Speaker 4: kinds of things. And that's just really fucking rude. But
- 40:31Speaker 4: not only is she pranking her daughter, it flows over
- 40:35Speaker 4: into the other people. So the poor Rose thanks plant
- 40:38Speaker 4: shit herself in the kitchen.
- 40:41Speaker 2: She was not too polite to say anything.
- 40:43Speaker 4: It was so loud, and Rose looked so concerned that
- 40:47Speaker 4: her friend had just shit her parents. Then Rose was
- 40:52Speaker 4: a good friend.
- 40:53Speaker 2: She didn't call attention, she.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Didn't say anything, but she looked concerned.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Rose is the hero of the episode.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Really. Then Sophia at the gallery calls Blanche Vette and says, oh, well,
- 41:05Speaker 4: this can't be you. I can't see this big ass, okay,
- 41:10Speaker 4: don't kick her when she's down. She just found out
- 41:13Speaker 4: that guy isn't interested in her. Next, then she shits
- 41:18Speaker 4: all over her own daughter by saying that men keep
- 41:22Speaker 4: dropping Dorothy all the time, just like Laslow did. And then,
- 41:27Speaker 4: if that's not enough, when Laslow tells them he's gay,
- 41:33Speaker 4: this bitch has the old lady audacity to say that
- 41:38Speaker 4: he was gay because he'd been looking at them naked
- 41:41Speaker 4: for a month. Those three women turned him gay. So
- 41:47Speaker 4: she is an enemy to the LGBT community if she
- 41:50Speaker 4: thinks that you can make someone gay. Fucking villain. And then, last,
- 41:56Speaker 4: but not least, they've all suffered enough. The episode is
- 41:59Speaker 4: a eventually over. We are happy that they all made
- 42:04Speaker 4: it into this beautiful artwork. Laslow's got his cute little
- 42:07Speaker 4: gay lover and we're happy. And she's got a fucking
- 42:12Speaker 4: prank Dorothy one last time. Villain Shady pines with this
- 42:18Speaker 4: bitch right now.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I mean, Dorothy did pull a Vinzini and switch the cups.
- 42:25Speaker 1: But yeah, Princess Bride, they're both Sicilian.
- 42:34Speaker 2: That's right.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Anyway, that's why she was don't go against the Sicilian
- 42:40Speaker 4: when death is on the line.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I'm wondering if both were dribble cups, so she had
- 42:48Speaker 2: it covered either way.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe she would switch it. Actually, what I do think,
- 42:54Speaker 4: and there's no trivia on this, or you would have
- 42:56Speaker 4: provided it. What I do think was happening was that
- 42:58Speaker 4: those were their regular glasses and that Dorothy, if you
- 43:01Speaker 4: watched how she drank, she was actually just pouring out
- 43:04Speaker 4: of the top onto her own face. She was growing
- 43:07Speaker 4: the glass back really quick and it was coming down
- 43:10Speaker 4: the sides. Yeah. So I think lovely acting job by
- 43:16Speaker 4: b Arthur too. Keep spilling authentically orange juice down herself
- 43:21Speaker 4: and not look like it was so hard.
- 43:24Speaker 2: She is a professional baby.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Look at us, she's dead, real nice.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Yeah, my bad villain sad.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Being a real fucking Sophia right now.
- 43:36Speaker 2: All right, that's my life's goal.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Anyway. I think that's kind of it for us, right,
- 43:42Speaker 4: I mean, Bill, where can people find you or or
