- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to Fandemonium, the pop culture game show
- 0:25Speaker 2: that shines a spotlight onto everyone's favorite fandoms. I'm your
- 0:29Speaker 2: games master at Pale Vampire Lord, acting as a metaphor
- 0:32Speaker 2: for the Pope Matt Watson. But a game's master needs games,
- 0:37Speaker 2: and games need players, so please welcome team number one.
- 0:40Speaker 2: She is our evergreen panelist, a podcaster and comedian who
- 0:44Speaker 2: works in STEM, which today stands for Sulky Teens Everywhere.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Man.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's Audre Stephenson, and she is an improviser, a stickhorse,
- 0:58Speaker 2: and a tune titan who knows a thing or two
- 1:01Speaker 2: about moving from scorching southern climbs to rainy mountain forests.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's Julia BOSEI. I just touched the mike.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I don't know why I whispered that.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, the MIC's picking up everything. Ordra, Hey, Julia, how
- 1:22Speaker 2: are you both doing?
- 1:23Speaker 1: Amazing?
- 1:23Speaker 4: I'm living the dream. I am gonna move this microphone.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Sorry to anyone listening in the future. I'm living the dream.
- 1:30Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be here. I'm drinking my bag
- 1:32Speaker 4: of blood.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It's really good.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah, let's talk about these bags of blood.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Oh my god, thank you.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I thought that I was being extra by buying the
- 1:40Speaker 4: Capri sun pouches that I could fill with my own
- 1:43Speaker 4: blood colored cocktail, and then I saw them and the
- 1:46Speaker 4: magic was not lost on me.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Yeah, they're fantastic. I've not actually tried one of these. Yeah,
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna cry. Supping suck.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Have you ever done slap the bag?
- 1:56Speaker 3: Sorry? What is slap the bag?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Okay, so you've heard of boxed wine.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I've heard of box wine yet.
- 2:05Speaker 6: So if you take the box out, there's basically a bag, yes,
- 2:08Speaker 6: and someone will hold that for you and then like
- 2:11Speaker 6: lift the little lever and you slap it and then
- 2:14Speaker 6: you basically chug the.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Wa Oh what a fun dessentence to alcoholism.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yes, I did it with my honor counsel.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Oh, it's so special.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It was a bonding moment.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Well, in case it wasn't already obvious from your from
- 2:31Speaker 2: your outfits, from the fact that I said it a
- 2:33Speaker 2: couple of times. Up top, today's theme is Twilight. How
- 2:36Speaker 2: familiar are you with Twilight, Audra?
- 2:38Speaker 4: I am aware of Twilight. I grew up in the
- 2:44Speaker 4: time when everybody really cared about Twilight. Which is just
- 2:48Speaker 4: the two thousands in general. So I have a general
- 2:51Speaker 4: osmosis of Twilight. I watched the movie recently, the first one,
- 2:56Speaker 4: not all of them.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I simply could not.
- 2:58Speaker 4: You're a human, I'm a I'm a human, and I
- 3:01Speaker 4: have constraints on my time and eyes and eyes and
- 3:05Speaker 4: a soul, and so I had a hard time. But
- 3:07Speaker 4: I did watch the first one recently and it entertained me.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Good.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Okay, that's that's about as much as you can expect
- 3:15Speaker 2: from Twilight, I think, Julia, what about yourself familiar with Twilight?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, girl.
- 3:23Speaker 6: I'm not Okay, I wasn't a twyhard but oh terminology. Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 6: but I did read the first two books.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I realized only the first.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Two books because I've watched all of the movies twice recently.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And Julie, can I ask you doing?
- 3:40Speaker 3: Okay?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:41Speaker 6: It's so good because what you don't know, because you
- 3:43Speaker 6: didn't get to it, is there's an epic battle of
- 3:46Speaker 6: the last movie that just gets you going and like,
- 3:49Speaker 6: you know, all for the sake.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Of CGI baby. Okay, god, yeah, so it can.
- 3:56Speaker 6: I feel like the last three movies are more watchable
- 3:59Speaker 6: than the first two.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Okay, that makes sense.
- 4:02Speaker 1: There's five movies, right, yes there.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Are, so you just need to get like over the hump.
- 4:06Speaker 3: That is the whole premise of.
- 4:10Speaker 6: But I grew up reading the first two whenever they
- 4:13Speaker 6: were coming out, and I was very much into it.
- 4:16Speaker 6: And then I fell into the hole. You know, I'm
- 4:18Speaker 6: not like other girls. Therefore I don't like Twilight. I
- 4:21Speaker 6: hate women inner misogyny journey.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Then we all go through yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, well,
- 4:29Speaker 2: perfectly suited for a set of games about Twilight.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Then that's me perfectly suited for Twilight games.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Well, you you're gonna need some opponents, maybe another vampire
- 4:41Speaker 2: clan to play against.
- 4:42Speaker 3: So I hope they're Catholic, So let's meet them.
- 4:47Speaker 2: He is a comedian, improviser, stick horse and living Puppets.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I promise this show is going to test his cardio
- 4:53Speaker 2: way less than the last one. It's Casey Dean phrase.
- 5:03Speaker 2: It's avoid the wires, don't trip on them, go or
- 5:07Speaker 2: do it. It'd be a nice, like exciting moment. And
- 5:11Speaker 2: she is a comedian, improviser and whimsor cultiste. Her name
- 5:14Speaker 2: is like the meth that Stephanie Meyer was smoking when
- 5:17Speaker 2: she wrote this series.
- 5:18Speaker 3: It's Chrystal around up up suns.
- 5:28Speaker 2: This this is actually the first game.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we are, hell yeah going down? WHOA that was
- 5:39Speaker 3: a threat.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I honestly, I'm very bellus one in this situation. Probably
- 5:43Speaker 4: I will.
- 5:44Speaker 7: And I want to get Julia one more blood bag, please, running.
- 5:51Speaker 5: A blood bag, buy me a blood mag.
- 5:55Speaker 7: That's how I'm going to win everybody. I'm gonna get
- 5:57Speaker 7: Julia really drunk for this show, the Murmur.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to pay for it though here hold.
- 6:07Speaker 1: On, I did pay for.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It's fantastic for going. I'll cut all this.
- 6:13Speaker 6: It's a It's like Casey and I do other you know,
- 6:16Speaker 6: like podcasted shows, and so you know, we should be
- 6:19Speaker 6: better about this.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I think this is great.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah, Casey, Casey, Crystal, thank you so much for joining us.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Welcome to the show. How are you both doing?
- 6:31Speaker 3: We yes, excellent.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And you're planning on keeping that up for the full
- 6:37Speaker 2: seventy minutes? Yeah, okay, it's fantastic. We hit the chat Twilight.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You've got your bag of blood. Casey, you are you're
- 6:45Speaker 2: a fan of Twilight.
- 6:47Speaker 7: H I fucking thought I was, and then I read
- 6:54Speaker 7: the first book in in in lieu of this show.
- 6:58Speaker 3: That's the right wording, right, Yes, there we go. Yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 3: it's in Lou. I'm saying Lou.
- 7:07Speaker 8: Okay, that means instead in lieu of the show.
- 7:15Speaker 7: I read the first book and it sucked. It was
- 7:20Speaker 7: really really bad. And then I was like, you know what,
- 7:21Speaker 7: I'm going to give it a chance. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 7: watch the movie, and the movie is going to be
- 7:24Speaker 7: so much better. And I watched the movie and the
- 7:27Speaker 7: movie sucked.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And so I hate Twilight.
- 7:32Speaker 7: But he.
- 7:35Speaker 3: That might be the correct answer.
- 7:37Speaker 2: We'll find out just but first, Crystal, are you you
- 7:39Speaker 2: a fine of Twilight?
- 7:41Speaker 8: I have a similar story to Casey, So yeah, I
- 7:44Speaker 8: was was a fan back in the day when I
- 7:47Speaker 8: was a child it came out.
- 7:49Speaker 3: But yeah, recently I re read the book. Yeah it
- 7:52Speaker 3: was terrible. I watched the movie. It had some so
- 7:55Speaker 3: bad it's good quality. Sure, I'm not going with you
- 8:00Speaker 3: know it was terrible.
- 8:01Speaker 8: It was watchable, watchable. I got through it in a
- 8:04Speaker 8: few cities.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Okay, if if you space it out, it's kind of
- 8:09Speaker 2: okay to consume.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Okay, Crystal, how.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Long do you usually space out movies?
- 8:14Speaker 3: No?
- 8:15Speaker 4: No, no, you're one of those crazy people that just
- 8:20Speaker 4: watches a movie from start to finish.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Yeah, what don't come for me?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Andrew, I forget what happened if I don't.
- 8:29Speaker 7: Yeah, when you're watching movies not like Twilight, that's what
- 8:32Speaker 7: you can do.
- 8:32Speaker 3: That's what you can accomplish. Just start to finish.
- 8:35Speaker 6: You just binge all of them the same day.
- 8:40Speaker 7: Wild man, this is not my crowd.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Well, let's find out what kind of crowds.
- 8:47Speaker 2: This is a lovely audience here tonight. Give me a cheer.
- 8:52Speaker 2: If you're a fan of Twilight, Okay, give give me
- 8:57Speaker 2: a cheer. If you're like this, Twilight is terrible. It's
- 8:59Speaker 2: the worst thing ever. Split crowd, I love it.
- 9:06Speaker 3: You've got a lot deeper.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I'll forgive you and explain why you're a misogynist leader.
- 9:17Speaker 5: I'm changing.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I actually love Twilight now because Stephanie Meyer I do
- 9:21Speaker 4: not think is a girl's girl, but I am.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay, seams with that.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You've just arrived at your first day at the new
- 9:30Speaker 2: high school. Paramore is playing in your headphones, Your converse
- 9:34Speaker 2: aren't yet faded. It's full two thousand and seven, and
- 9:37Speaker 2: there's still hope for the millennial generation.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Will we just please go back? That's what's where we
- 9:45Speaker 3: are now. It's where we are now.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It's okay, Casey, don't reference anything after two thousand and seven.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But to navigate the social politics of school, you'll need
- 9:53Speaker 2: to join a clique of monsters. So I'd like each
- 9:55Speaker 2: pair to come up with a Twilight themed team name. Please,
- 9:58Speaker 2: let's start with Audra and what have you got?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Okay, we do not have a bowl of jizz this
- 10:03Speaker 1: time or an epic list of Marvel. We have come
- 10:07Speaker 1: down to three.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Yes, okay, Renz Maniacs.
- 10:11Speaker 6: Yes, as everyone knows, is the bibet of Edward and Bella.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so sorry. There will be spoilers.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Spoiler warning entire episode.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Another one h Foreskin of a Killer okay.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Particularly fun and fucks Washington.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It was particularly fun called forks Washington.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Spoiler.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Sorry, sorry, I really do want to say.
- 10:47Speaker 1: For Skin of a Killer a lot.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Any row that requires buzzing buzzing in will just be
- 10:54Speaker 4: us shouting force k.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I have to say it loads of times during this
- 10:58Speaker 2: stop selling us so full skin for.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Skin, for skin. Okay, it's full skin of a Killer.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Narrow it down, it is foreskin.
- 11:15Speaker 6: No, whatever we butt in, it'll be foreskin. But every
- 11:17Speaker 6: time Matt has to say it. It's for Skin of
- 11:19Speaker 6: a Killer.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Please say our name in full.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for trying to help me, Casey, I'm trying
- 11:23Speaker 2: to help.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Yeah, Matt is our enemy, our common enemy, Casey.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It's not our my Okay, so we've got full Skin
- 11:31Speaker 2: of a Killer. Let's let's find out if they've finished
- 11:33Speaker 2: chatting about coming up with a team name right this second.
- 11:36Speaker 3: We did it. We just came up with it right now. Perfect,
- 11:38Speaker 3: What have you got? We're in the Breaking Winds Part
- 11:41Speaker 3: one and Part two.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yes, that is a fantastic team name.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I love it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, that was not on my list. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: love it.
- 11:50Speaker 3: It's incredibly thing I thought of. It was the first
- 11:53Speaker 3: thought and only idea. It's perfect.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Gosh, when you get it right the first time, it's
- 11:58Speaker 4: so satisfying.
- 12:00Speaker 3: M h, I'm too for sure.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I think we're supposed to be the team leaders. So I.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Still all right?
- 12:17Speaker 2: So we got four Skin of a Killer versus Breaking
- 12:19Speaker 2: Wins Part one and Part two.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Okay, it's.
- 12:24Speaker 2: It's at this point I'd like to like to show
- 12:27Speaker 2: what our teams will be playing for. It's the mystery
- 12:29Speaker 2: prize over in the corner. There can I get an
- 12:31Speaker 2: ooh for the mystery prize. Thank you, that will be
- 12:33Speaker 2: picked up on the podcast. Ah, I am a lucky boy. Okay,
- 12:39Speaker 2: thank you so much. I'm getting a shake of the
- 12:42Speaker 2: head from my producer that I shouldn't say that there's
- 12:45Speaker 2: something exciting in there. We'll we'll build to it. We'll
- 12:48Speaker 2: see how many points our teams can score. But first,
- 12:51Speaker 2: if you're listening to this and thinking, yes, twilight is
- 12:53Speaker 2: my favorite time of day and I'm glad these weirdos
- 12:55Speaker 2: are doing a whole show about it, or not, your
- 12:58Speaker 2: silly little goose, here's Oldra with a little segment we
- 13:01Speaker 2: like to call passing Knowledge.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Twilight is a series of romantic vampire fantasy books by
- 13:07Speaker 4: Stephanie Meyer. The largest element of fantasy in this books
- 13:11Speaker 4: is that this is a healthy romantic situation. The books
- 13:16Speaker 4: were released in two thousand and five to two thousand
- 13:19Speaker 4: and eight, and the films began production in two thousand
- 13:22Speaker 4: and eight as well. And then what else happened in
- 13:24Speaker 4: two thousand and eight the financial crisis coincidence?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Probably not.
- 13:32Speaker 4: The film adaptations had mixed reviews. Critics had a not
- 13:36Speaker 4: so good opinion of it, but fans of the books
- 13:39Speaker 4: really loved it, making Twilight the equivalent of the media
- 13:43Speaker 4: pumpkin spice latte.
- 13:45Speaker 5: A lot of people have.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Strong opinions, and I will enjoy it in the quiet
- 13:49Speaker 4: of my own home, very privately.
- 13:52Speaker 5: The saga falls the story. The saga follows the story.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It's a podcast, we can use that take.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fine.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Sometimes I forget that there's other people in this room
- 14:01Speaker 4: who have heard me make mistakes. The saga follows the
- 14:05Speaker 4: team girl Bella Swan, as she moves to Forks, Washington
- 14:08Speaker 4: and then falls in love with a one hundred and
- 14:10Speaker 4: four year old vampire and certified mega creep, Edward Colin.
- 14:19Speaker 5: He's in her room at night. Non consensually, I will say.
- 14:22Speaker 4: That the series is primarily told from Bella's point of view,
- 14:26Speaker 4: with a couple chapters from Edward's love rival, Jacob.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Do we have Jacob fans? And here I have to.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Ask the other team or your team Jacob?
- 14:36Speaker 8: Her team Edward, Team Edward Jacob.
- 14:40Speaker 4: I was also team Jacob for one and a half
- 14:43Speaker 4: book I read Jacob.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Hell yeah, we're winning.
- 14:52Speaker 4: So most of the book is Bella's point of view.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Some of the chapters are Jacob, but my copy also
- 14:58Speaker 4: has like my internal mom a log as like a
- 15:01Speaker 4: feature of it, saying things like what the fuck is happening?
- 15:04Speaker 4: Oh my god, am I.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Getting into this?
- 15:06Speaker 4: And then oh, am I getting into this. The series
- 15:12Speaker 4: has had notable accolades, including a British Children's Book of
- 15:15Speaker 4: the Year, a Kid's Choice Award, and more than two
- 15:18Speaker 4: hundred weeks on the Children's New York Times best seller list.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Now these accolades bring like a sort of family friendly
- 15:26Speaker 4: vibe that will not be.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Present for the rest of this show.
- 15:31Speaker 3: So hop on.
- 15:32Speaker 4: In, Spider Monkey, Let's play pandemonium.
- 15:37Speaker 5: That's the quote.
- 15:38Speaker 7: I hope this episode wins a Kid's Choice Award.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Keep a family friendly.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Just before we get to today's games, I've asked each
- 15:51Speaker 2: player to bring in a muse a fullmat point. I
- 15:53Speaker 2: hope Casey is remembered this is something that inspires them
- 15:56Speaker 2: or something they love from this particular fandom. Twilight is
- 15:59Speaker 2: in aspiring to me because it proves you can just
- 16:01Speaker 2: write any old shit and call it entertainment.
- 16:04Speaker 3: That's very crucial for what's happening here.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Casey will start with you, what's inspiring you from the
- 16:10Speaker 2: world of twy heavy Sorry Twilight.
- 16:12Speaker 7: Uh my very first girlfriend.
- 16:18Speaker 3: She loved Twilight. So that's when I first thought that I.
- 16:22Speaker 7: Loved Twilight show and was convinced that it was amazing,
- 16:26Speaker 7: and revisiting it without being in love it's not good. Yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 7: but maybe I'll get in love with someone else and
- 16:36Speaker 7: they'll love it and I'll love it again.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Maybe not.
- 16:38Speaker 7: But what's really inspiring is that that girlfriend. It was
- 16:42Speaker 7: the first time I wore girl pants because I was
- 16:46Speaker 7: emailed it.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yes, yes, can you imagine it? That's all I need
- 16:53Speaker 3: to do.
- 16:53Speaker 2: You had the fringe and everything.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Oh, I had everything.
- 16:56Speaker 7: I did everything except make out with boys, which I
- 16:58Speaker 7: wish I would.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Have should have gotten involved.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Looking back on it, I wish I would have taken
- 17:06Speaker 7: that that chance.
- 17:08Speaker 3: At the time.
- 17:09Speaker 1: There's always time.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta make out with more emo dudes.
- 17:14Speaker 2: And just to be clear, that's what's inspiring you for
- 17:16Speaker 2: this quiz is making out with more emol dudes.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Well, girl pants, go pants? Okay, go pants.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I love it. That's a great inspiration. Very Twilight coded,
- 17:25Speaker 2: very mid two thousands.
- 17:26Speaker 3: I love it.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Let's let's find out what the other huff of Breaking
- 17:32Speaker 2: Winds is inspired by Crystal. What's inspiring you from the
- 17:35Speaker 2: world of Twilight.
- 17:36Speaker 3: You know what inspires me. I think the soundtrack. Oh yes,
- 17:42Speaker 3: that's like the best part of the movie. Is so good.
- 17:45Speaker 8: It got me that I didn't know existed, like Paramour. Yes,
- 17:49Speaker 8: I didn't know who Lincoln Park was before.
- 17:53Speaker 3: That's how young I am. How old you were when
- 17:55Speaker 3: this movie came out? When did this movie come out?
- 17:59Speaker 9: And eight.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Cloud super fans, Oh, we need to say what your
- 18:05Speaker 3: age was at the same time? One, two, three, seven? Wow?
- 18:13Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, sorry, Crystal's really young. Yeah, we're lucky to
- 18:19Speaker 6: have someone as luminary and young and thriving as Crystal.
- 18:24Speaker 8: Actually, yeah, yeah, I really need you to understand that
- 18:27Speaker 8: this is like my formal development, Like this is part
- 18:31Speaker 8: of in the part of my brain where I learned
- 18:33Speaker 8: to read.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I'm so sorry it's rained.
- 18:38Speaker 5: This is deep.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Bob the Builder and.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Twilight, there's some dodgy relationship politics in Bob the Builder
- 18:47Speaker 2: as well, so watch out.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Was he like a good foreman? I
- 18:52Speaker 1: don't know.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Did he pay his workers?
- 18:55Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Is he a union guy?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Hopefully fingers crossed.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I always believed in Bob what Yeah, it's Robert Now.
- 19:04Speaker 5: He's a billionaire.
- 19:05Speaker 3: He goes by Robert.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Anyway, this isn't the Bump the Builder episode. Maybe maybe
- 19:11Speaker 2: next month next.
- 19:17Speaker 1: We actually know what the next month is going to be.
- 19:20Speaker 3: What is it?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Lord of the Rings?
- 19:21Speaker 2: Oh two months, Crystal, thank you so much. The Twilight's
- 19:28Speaker 2: soundtrack is very inspiring, great stuff. I want to shout
- 19:31Speaker 2: out a favorite song from it.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Or does that have to be from the Twilight soundtrack
- 19:34Speaker 3: or just like any of any music in history.
- 19:38Speaker 8: I'm shouting out, let's do Heavy in your Arms by
- 19:42Speaker 8: Florence and the Machine.
- 19:43Speaker 3: There, shout the Machine. They have an album coming out Halloween.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Okay, letting a couple hundred people are going to listen
- 19:53Speaker 2: to this online. I don't think you need even free advertising.
- 19:55Speaker 4: But okay, sponsored by Florence, not the Machine.
- 19:59Speaker 3: The Machine, Fuck the Machine.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Thank you so much, breaking winds about one and two.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I feel very inspired from this side of the room.
- 20:06Speaker 2: But let's find out if this side of the room
- 20:08Speaker 2: can inspire me. They can speak at the same time,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but can they inspire Julia? What's inspiring you from the
- 20:12Speaker 2: world of Twilight?
- 20:13Speaker 3: Okay?
- 20:14Speaker 6: I have tooky.
- 20:16Speaker 5: One is the fact that I.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Need to renew my library card with Libby and so
- 20:24Speaker 6: I didn't do that in the time that was needed.
- 20:26Speaker 6: And I can only listen to books, I cannot read
- 20:29Speaker 6: them so with my eyes. So I found a YouTube
- 20:34Speaker 6: video that was a sexy British man the first Twilight
- 20:41Speaker 6: book with sounds of rain pattering, and it was way
- 20:43Speaker 6: too sexual.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Chest I think I follow his only fans.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But my actual real muse is Kristin Stewart.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Nice.
- 20:57Speaker 6: Not only queer awakening, but like I really was a
- 21:00Speaker 6: queer awakening later, but also I had hair down to
- 21:05Speaker 6: my ass and I cut it and still to this
- 21:10Speaker 6: day it is her with short hair that is my
- 21:14Speaker 6: reference photo for most of my haircuts to this day.
- 21:18Speaker 6: She has guided me in queerness and in style and style.
- 21:27Speaker 7: That's beautiful. Is that really what you bring up every
- 21:30Speaker 7: hair haircut your.
- 21:31Speaker 6: Basically actually like it'll be like a bunch of pictures, but.
- 21:34Speaker 1: She's usually there.
- 21:35Speaker 3: She's hit it in the middle.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you know this vibe. Don't make it, Karen,
- 21:41Speaker 1: make it Kristen.
- 21:45Speaker 2: That's a great news, very inspiring. It's fine that you
- 21:47Speaker 2: have two muses. That's it's good to we shout out
- 21:49Speaker 2: the local library. That's always nice.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Please support your local librarries.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Please, so good, fantastic, very inspiring and last but not least, odro,
- 21:58Speaker 2: what's inspiring you?
- 21:59Speaker 3: From Twilight?
- 22:01Speaker 4: I think we all remember a specific scene from the
- 22:04Speaker 4: Twilight films where they were playing baseball. No, this was
- 22:10Speaker 4: pivotal to me as a child, specifically one part the
- 22:15Speaker 4: Alice pitch.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Do we remember this?
- 22:20Speaker 4: She does the thing where it goes back and then down,
- 22:24Speaker 4: and then she does the high kick and then she
- 22:25Speaker 4: pitches the ball. Now, if you will indulge me baseball,
- 22:33Speaker 4: I've had a dream since I was a child of
- 22:36Speaker 4: this and is not very podcast audio friendly. So Julia,
- 22:42Speaker 4: you're very excited if you could narrate.
- 22:44Speaker 5: What occurs.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Rapping a baseball.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I bought this literally this morning. It might not get unwrapped.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I can get this, Okay, she is Actually it will
- 22:58Speaker 4: be unwrapped. I can't return this baseball.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Then I smell it if you want to.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Sorry, I didn't tennis ball smell good, so faceballs would
- 23:08Speaker 6: smell good.
- 23:09Speaker 3: What's the smell of a new baseball?
- 23:11Speaker 4: Kind of plastic? Yeah, that sounds a little plastic y.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Just so you know, this is irrelevant to the bit.
- 23:18Speaker 4: So if you will indulge me, will you indulge me. Yes, okay,
- 23:22Speaker 4: thank you, Chris, you'll hit the music.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, the lights have turned blue like the
- 23:30Speaker 6: color grading of the movie.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yes she.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Oh right, Oh she is reaching in a bag.
- 23:37Speaker 8: Oh she has a mate, yes, yeah, beautiful, Yeah, adreswer
- 23:46Speaker 8: the mizard left hand.
- 23:46Speaker 1: She is going, oh, one more things.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Have a very specific idea of how this works in
- 23:52Speaker 4: my mind.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Okay, she is reaching in the bag one more time.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Baseball.
- 23:58Speaker 1: She is dawning. All right, you've got your club, you
- 24:01Speaker 1: got your miss Okay, I hit her the Oh.
- 24:05Speaker 3: My god, you word of Randy Johnson jersey. She's wearing
- 24:08Speaker 3: a Randy Johnson jersey. I love Randy Johnson.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Yes, all right, back, Oh my god. Yes, Alice is
- 24:18Speaker 6: definitely wearing a hat. Yes, perfect, the hat to bill forward?
- 24:22Speaker 6: Alice does no, it's forward.
- 24:24Speaker 3: The bill is forward? Word yeah, correct, back forward. Oh
- 24:31Speaker 3: my gosh.
- 24:32Speaker 1: She's so sorry. She's so so sorry.
- 24:38Speaker 3: We called a fold this track.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Oh right, right right. The little patches.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Under the eyes.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Under the eye own is using team in lieu of
- 24:50Speaker 1: black makeup.
- 24:51Speaker 5: All right, we're ready, yep, here.
- 24:55Speaker 3: We go, oh blueball.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Do you want to know something fucking sad? I did stretch.
- 25:10Speaker 4: I genuinely stretched, and I tried it this morning.
- 25:14Speaker 5: I can't fucking get that high kick.
- 25:18Speaker 1: It is. It is fully vertical. It is Barbie Doll vertical.
- 25:22Speaker 5: You spoke of.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Sexual awakenings as in a queer sense.
- 25:26Speaker 1: One Ashley Green.
- 25:28Speaker 5: But if anybody wants a baseball, I have no purpose
- 25:32Speaker 5: for it.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Randy Johnson, Jersey, what are you doing with that?
- 25:35Speaker 5: No, it's Molly's Molly's and I stole it from her.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Okay, generous.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Unit.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Wait, I'm sorry say that one more time.
- 25:47Speaker 3: The Randy Johnson's nickname is the big Unit.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, I hate that. That's incredible, not an
- 25:54Speaker 1: absolute unit.
- 25:55Speaker 3: No, it's just the big He hit a bird with
- 25:58Speaker 3: a baseball one time.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Thank you, Jed.
- 26:06Speaker 3: That's forty for We.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Would be here talking about big units for an hour
- 26:11Speaker 2: if it wasn't for Jen Ultra.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Thank you for that.
- 26:13Speaker 2: That was inspiring. Even if you couldn't get the high kick.
- 26:15Speaker 4: It's I still felt the energy, and I still feel
- 26:18Speaker 4: like a part of my childhood soul is healed. Even
- 26:21Speaker 4: though I was really hoping that the energy in the
- 26:23Speaker 4: room was going to like bring my leg to a
- 26:27Speaker 4: ninety degree angle.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You're not hunting eighty you would be hitting your cheek.
- 26:31Speaker 4: It was I just really hoped that the excitement was
- 26:35Speaker 4: gonna like suddenly shift my it band in a different way.
- 26:40Speaker 4: But that's not gonna happen. That's not how physiology.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Works, Audra. I honestly believed in you.
- 26:47Speaker 6: That is like, that is the energy that is inspiring
- 26:50Speaker 6: and deserving, amusing.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Very good, very inspiring.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Blood bags. Cheers your blood bags.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Cheers to me being a liar, betraying.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Everyone in this lies or not.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'm feeling very inspired by all four of you. You
- 27:05Speaker 2: ready for some games? Yeah, okay, teams, Let's hop on
- 27:09Speaker 2: each other's backs and break the manitou Incline speed record
- 27:12Speaker 2: as we spider monkey our way into Round one. Oh wow,
- 27:18Speaker 2: live music. Round one is our NPR guessing game that
- 27:23Speaker 2: this time we're calling Interview with a Vampire or possibly
- 27:26Speaker 2: where Wolf. It's the guessing game where I ask our
- 27:30Speaker 2: players to interview each other in the style of soft
- 27:33Speaker 2: spoken public radio.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Can you all do this?
- 27:35Speaker 2: Voice?
- 27:36Speaker 10: Yes?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yes, soft spoken? Yeah, come on, Casey, you can do this.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I guess so perfect. That's brilliant.
- 27:44Speaker 6: The first time Casey has been quiet in his life.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I have never been quiet in my life.
- 27:51Speaker 2: In this game, in terms, I will ask one player
- 27:54Speaker 2: to shroud themselves in darkness aka close their eyes. They
- 27:58Speaker 2: will be our interviewer and guesser. We will then show
- 28:01Speaker 2: everyone else in the room the name of a Twilight character,
- 28:04Speaker 2: something they're promoting on the radio, and their unique special
- 28:07Speaker 2: vampire power. Because Stephanie Meyer likes to do that a lot,
- 28:10Speaker 2: their teammate takes on this role of this character and
- 28:14Speaker 2: during a two minute interview, must convey who they are,
- 28:17Speaker 2: what they're promoting, and what their unique power is without
- 28:19Speaker 2: saying any of the words that appear on screen. This
- 28:22Speaker 2: is for a maximum of three points. Do we all
- 28:25Speaker 2: understand the game?
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yes?
- 28:27Speaker 1: And I draw on myself. I'm so excited.
- 28:31Speaker 5: You are so excited about pr.
- 28:34Speaker 3: All and the powers, and your time is up.
- 28:38Speaker 2: When I say you're listening to NPR, that's what they say, right,
- 28:42Speaker 2: No NPR listeners in the room.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Fantastic, I'm uncultured.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Okay, we are going to begin with Audra for Julia. So, Julia,
- 28:53Speaker 2: would you like to thank you so much for covering
- 28:55Speaker 2: your eyes and on the screen there should be a
- 29:00Speaker 2: list order. You might have to reposition yourself in order
- 29:02Speaker 2: to see that Edward Cullen is promoting a vegetarian cookbook
- 29:06Speaker 2: and he has electric fingers. You got it, I think so.
- 29:11Speaker 2: All right, you got your MPR voice ready.
- 29:14Speaker 5: You're listening to National Public Radio.
- 29:16Speaker 2: All right, your times thoughts.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Now, you've had a really exciting year of world win romance.
- 29:25Speaker 5: But tell us about this project.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I think people are not going to necessarily expect it
- 29:30Speaker 4: coming from you, considering what vampires typically eat.
- 29:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean can help she's I can't understand what
- 29:36Speaker 6: she's thinking, and that's so interesting to me.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Are you excited about teaching people some of like your
- 29:46Speaker 4: eating lifestyle and how it applies to the mass is
- 29:49Speaker 4: kind of teaching people.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Are you excited about that?
- 29:52Speaker 6: Yeah? I think that sustainable living is sustainable eating.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So I can get people to learn, you.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Know, not just you know, deplete the planet of humans.
- 30:04Speaker 5: That would be great, phenomenal. It's so good to hear.
- 30:08Speaker 4: And with such a unique set of skills, I've never
- 30:11Speaker 4: really seen this. Are you worried that you're going to
- 30:16Speaker 4: be a little too shocking with anybody that you accidentally
- 30:21Speaker 4: may come in contact with.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Listen, I have full control over my am. I supposed
- 30:27Speaker 6: to guess in this interview.
- 30:28Speaker 3: I'm confused.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Oh, the game's already gone backwards, but we're playing out
- 30:32Speaker 2: like this.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Remember when you asked if we understand the game and
- 30:37Speaker 4: I said, yes, my apology.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Remember how you asked if I understood the game and I.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Say nothing, We're now playing.
- 30:46Speaker 2: We'll play press conference style. So orders trying to convey
- 30:50Speaker 2: am I.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Maybe from Danali and I have electricity powers?
- 30:55Speaker 5: I mean that's what I heard.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Yeah, is this an actual character from the film?
- 31:01Speaker 4: It like you, I mean you are all over all
- 31:05Speaker 4: of the promotional materials. I do believe you are a
- 31:08Speaker 4: character from the film and the movie.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Interesting, well, they know that the character that has electricity
- 31:17Speaker 6: powers is not a Cullin.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Uh.
- 31:20Speaker 6: She is one of the three sisters from Dnali.
- 31:25Speaker 4: It's it's so interesting because that that, while that is
- 31:28Speaker 4: true canonically, some weird things have happened, and I've I
- 31:31Speaker 4: think some powers have been switched around.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Oh okay, you I am a vegetarian vampire who has
- 31:39Speaker 6: electricity powers who.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Has fallen in love with the human.
- 31:42Speaker 6: So I'm guestingd with electricity powers.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Yes, incredible, what are you promoting? It's really it's so
- 31:53Speaker 4: interesting to just flip through this and see all of
- 31:55Speaker 4: the things that you are able to make without using meat.
- 32:00Speaker 5: It's so interesting.
- 32:02Speaker 8: I am.
- 32:02Speaker 6: I am definitely promoting veganism, uh, vegetarianism more specifically, because
- 32:10Speaker 6: veganism is too hard.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Come on, I mean it's so it's you're so experienced
- 32:17Speaker 4: as a vegetarian and so sharing the types of ways
- 32:21Speaker 4: that you make food and the steps involved.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Oh my blog, you're listening to NPR. I'm sorry, that's
- 32:32Speaker 2: your time. It was a vegetarian cookbook. Oh uh huh.
- 32:38Speaker 2: But we already started playing the game backwards. So you
- 32:40Speaker 2: did amazing getting two points out.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Of that.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Electricity It was electric fingers.
- 32:47Speaker 3: So okay, question yes, So.
- 32:50Speaker 6: When I want to do this with a right yes,
- 32:54Speaker 6: and don't and don't mess up.
- 32:56Speaker 3: So we are the three aspects.
- 32:58Speaker 1: That we are trying to get powers.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yes, you've got power, thing that you're promoting and who
- 33:03Speaker 2: you are?
- 33:04Speaker 1: Okay, so Edward powers and what I'm promoting.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Yes, and I got what I'm promoting wrong, Yes, I've
- 33:11Speaker 6: got this.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Okay, thank you for the blood. I not have this.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Get it together, Casey. We're going to move on.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Over to Breaking Wins Part one and Part two. Would
- 33:23Speaker 2: you like to play the game, how they played it
- 33:25Speaker 2: or how it was intense. Okay, Okay, so in that case,
- 33:30Speaker 2: this is this is Casey for Crystal, and I have
- 33:32Speaker 2: no idea what that means under these new rules, but
- 33:35Speaker 2: I think that means Casey, you want to look at
- 33:37Speaker 2: the screen, and Crystal you want to close your eyes.
- 33:39Speaker 3: And okay, this is even.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Harder in the style of like press conference. You're going
- 33:45Speaker 2: to try and help Crystal understand who.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Who she is.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Bella Swan is promoting a coat based fashion brand and
- 33:55Speaker 2: she can talk to Fish. You are ready, Casey? All right,
- 33:59Speaker 2: you're into you starts now.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Welcome. You look so beautiful today. I'm glad that you're
- 34:10Speaker 3: here with me. Can we both be bland together for
- 34:12Speaker 3: a second. Bland it up with me. That's right, bitch,
- 34:19Speaker 3: We're bland. Okay, Welcome, Welcome. I think you know who
- 34:26Speaker 3: you are now. But what you're really trying to do
- 34:29Speaker 3: here is I mean, look good. You're trying to look
- 34:34Speaker 3: good over here, and it's which why why is my
- 34:38Speaker 3: voice Michael Jackson? You're trying to look good?
- 34:42Speaker 1: Famous NPR Simona.
- 34:47Speaker 7: All right, sweetheart, you are in my studio, and I
- 34:54Speaker 7: love love that you're sitting here, and you know, I
- 34:56Speaker 7: just want you to know that.
- 34:59Speaker 3: You look like you're gonna shoot up a school. You're
- 35:04Speaker 3: wearing you choice, You're wearing something that only is worn
- 35:08Speaker 3: in the trenches. That's right, really long. Yeah, and you
- 35:13Speaker 3: might be hiding things in there, like drugs or something. Okay, Yeah,
- 35:17Speaker 3: you know what I'm talking about. You pick up what
- 35:21Speaker 3: I'm putting down. I think I got you, just like
- 35:23Speaker 3: on NP softer, Here we go, Here we go. Then
- 35:32Speaker 3: the last thing is, you know you took some of
- 35:35Speaker 3: that Gilly Weed. I think I'm getting. I think I'm
- 35:39Speaker 3: getting books takes up down. It's okay. I'm a part
- 35:44Speaker 3: of that fandom too.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Well.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I've only seen one of those movies and it's the
- 35:49Speaker 3: one with Gilly Weeded.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Cool.
- 35:52Speaker 3: You're listening to NP?
- 35:54Speaker 2: All right, all right, Crystal? Who are you am?
- 35:57Speaker 3: I bella Swan? Hush?
- 36:00Speaker 2: You are indeed Bellaswan slash culin. What are you on
- 36:03Speaker 2: NPR promoting.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Either Castiel or a trench coat? Come the words run?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll go with it's round one. We'll give you
- 36:14Speaker 2: the point for it. And what is your power?
- 36:17Speaker 3: My power? Yes, of course, come on? Maybe the Gilly Yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 3: so I can breathe underwater.
- 36:27Speaker 2: No, I'm so sorry.
- 36:29Speaker 3: I don't know anything about none of the three. I
- 36:38Speaker 3: don't know.
- 36:39Speaker 2: It was can talk to fish?
- 36:42Speaker 7: Was your power is that? We don't well, I want
- 36:48Speaker 7: to fuck up all the people here.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Is it too late to switch? I'm so sorry,
- 36:55Speaker 3: it's too late. No one's switching.
- 37:00Speaker 5: An imprinting situation of one of you.
- 37:02Speaker 11: Go.
- 37:04Speaker 5: Okay, that got the reaction it deserves.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Back on over to fur Skin of a killer Julia
- 37:10Speaker 2: for Audra. You're going to find out who Audra is.
- 37:14Speaker 3: That's how this has worked out.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Nice.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I'm sorry for the havoc that I have brought.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Jasper Hale is promoting the opening of a rodeo museum,
- 37:25Speaker 2: and he makes a pretty mean kesh. Okay, you got those.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Julia is groaning unhappily. I'm feeling really confident.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, your interview begins now.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Hello, this is NPR with Deborah.
- 37:51Speaker 6: I am so happy to see that you have made
- 37:54Speaker 6: it through the years as a Confederate soldier and that
- 37:59Speaker 6: you have turned around and learned the lesson of not
- 38:04Speaker 6: being a total racist ass.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I have learned a lot of lessons, and I was
- 38:12Speaker 4: drafted at twelve years old.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Yeah, but that's not an excuse.
- 38:16Speaker 3: No, it's not.
- 38:17Speaker 4: And now that I've lived many more years. I literally
- 38:21Speaker 4: took until about thirteen years of age, but I have
- 38:25Speaker 4: changed a lot of things about.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Yes, your wife is very proud of you. She waited
- 38:30Speaker 1: for you at a diner for a long time.
- 38:34Speaker 11: I'm glad that you used those skills that you learned
- 38:36Speaker 11: on horseback to do this venture. You know, Colorado Springs
- 38:41Speaker 11: has their own establishment of this sort to kind of
- 38:46Speaker 11: commemorate the clowns and writers of this sport. Canada and
- 38:53Speaker 11: Alberta Calgary has a very big one of these things.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I hope that you know what I'm talking about.
- 39:01Speaker 7: I have.
- 39:02Speaker 4: I've fallen down so many times, but every time I
- 39:05Speaker 4: get back.
- 39:06Speaker 11: Up right and you get in the saddle, back in
- 39:09Speaker 11: the saddle again.
- 39:10Speaker 3: But the thing that makes.
- 39:11Speaker 1: You so special is your cooking abilities.
- 39:16Speaker 9: Uh.
- 39:16Speaker 12: No one can turn that egg into this dish that
- 39:24Speaker 12: has a crust. Usually people like to put bacon in.
- 39:28Speaker 3: It and some kind of cheese.
- 39:31Speaker 4: I'm quite famous in France. I have developed a new
- 39:36Speaker 4: form for kish incredible with eggs suck laray.
- 39:46Speaker 6: Deborah appreciates you. Is there anything that you need me?
- 39:50Speaker 6: To talk more about, to help.
- 39:51Speaker 5: You tell me a little bit more about Calgary, Alberta.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Care you're listening to? All right? What was your power?
- 40:02Speaker 2: I think you were getting close to the power that.
- 40:04Speaker 5: I can make a perfect key.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Yeah, can make me in case love it? Who are you?
- 40:10Speaker 8: The j name?
- 40:11Speaker 4: Want Jackson? Just justin? I do need the name of
- 40:15Speaker 4: the thing, Jennie? Did I say justin? Ghost Jasper?
- 40:26Speaker 3: Yes? Y? Yeah?
- 40:37Speaker 2: How did this happen already?
- 40:40Speaker 13: And what are you promoting on National Public Radio PBR
- 40:44Speaker 13: Professional Bull Riders Museum the Rodeo?
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:53Speaker 5: More technical term for this?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Is that a technical term?
- 40:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 40:57Speaker 5: Well, the PBR museum?
- 40:59Speaker 1: I thought you were just referencing the beer.
- 41:02Speaker 5: No, I'm not.
- 41:06Speaker 4: I come from the middle of nowhere where there's no
- 41:09Speaker 4: bridge toll on the rodeo weekends.
- 41:14Speaker 10: A.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah, glad you live in Colorado Springs now so I
- 41:18Speaker 2: could move to here instead of whatever that is?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Sorry? When married?
- 41:23Speaker 2: By the way, what's undra?
- 41:27Speaker 5: You and I were imprinted?
- 41:32Speaker 3: We were imprinted? Sorry?
- 41:36Speaker 5: What a horrible way for you two to find out.
- 41:37Speaker 2: I must be my egg before my relationship politics get
- 41:41Speaker 2: any more confusing. We're gonna move on to our final

- 43:01Speaker 8: You know you already have one important position as a father. Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 8: but you want an even more important position. Yeah, and
- 43:09Speaker 8: you know more more, and you specifically want.

- 43:31Speaker 8: So you're walking down a bar aisle, bar aisle and
- 43:35Speaker 8: you Yeah, my name.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Is my name, Carlisle, Carlile am I Carl. What's what
- 43:50Speaker 3: is his power?
- 43:51Speaker 8: Yeah? So you're very You're kind of airy, I guess
- 43:56Speaker 8: I'm Yeah, I'm Mary as fuck, kind of like a cloud.
- 44:00Speaker 8: You're you're always off the ground, but not with velocity.
- 44:10Speaker 8: You're just kind of there.
- 44:11Speaker 7: I'm just floating. I just float, but not the other
- 44:16Speaker 7: not the flying. I float, but flying.
- 44:19Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 44:20Speaker 3: So yeah, and you're going to use this power m
- 44:24Speaker 3: to Yeah, to become.
- 44:29Speaker 8: The most one of the most important people in the
- 44:34Speaker 8: entire state.
- 44:35Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I'm becoming the mayor. I'll be the mayor,
- 44:43Speaker 7: the president, the congressman.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Of course. I shoot congressman out my fingers.
- 44:50Speaker 2: You're listening to.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Can I just say that Casey and his il.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Oh, fantastic, Casey.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I think Casey, I think you've got yours a sex line, right,
- 45:11Speaker 3: it's a sex line one a hundred m PR fuck
- 45:14Speaker 3: me local.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Singles, Casey, I think you got your power perfectly. What's
- 45:22Speaker 2: what's your power?
- 45:24Speaker 3: You can?
- 45:24Speaker 2: You can you remember quote but not that's a point
- 45:28Speaker 2: that's perfect yeah, do you know which character you are, James?
- 45:34Speaker 6: I mean.
- 45:36Speaker 1: That is a character. I'll give you that.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Casey did say the character earlier. I was just
- 45:41Speaker 2: testing his memory.
- 45:42Speaker 1: It was more than Carl Carl.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Yeah. And what's the big vampire family name? It sounds
- 45:51Speaker 3: like to me, Casey Colin.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:56Speaker 3: And why are you on NPR? What are you promoting?
- 46:00Speaker 8: Oh?
- 46:01Speaker 3: Fucked? Oh my god? What was the hint again? You
- 46:07Speaker 3: wanted more control of more men. That's a good clue.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm in printing onto Matt wish
- 46:20Speaker 2: that it were but no, no, I'm sorry. You were
- 46:23Speaker 2: running for governor of Utah. Oh moment, Okay, all right, yeah, incredible.
- 46:35Speaker 10: It was good.
- 46:36Speaker 6: It was good, and I just I can't tell you great.
- 46:39Speaker 6: It was to listen to just like Casey be like
- 46:42Speaker 6: repeating everything. You were some kind of like guided meditation, gurud.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Okay. That is the end of round one.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Jen, Could you please give a very apathetic mid two
- 46:58Speaker 2: thousands emore reading of the school.
- 47:05Speaker 3: We'll do it in post.
- 47:09Speaker 1: War Skin of a Killer.
- 47:13Speaker 3: And Breaking When is part one? And hardship? How is
- 47:23Speaker 3: it not your fault?
- 47:24Speaker 5: Maybe if you liked the series, you'd have five points
- 47:27Speaker 5: I'm just saying.
- 47:30Speaker 3: We seem to like the series.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Okay, up next is round two. That's my favorite power
- 47:43Speaker 2: I've discovered today.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Thank you, Chris. Okay.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Round two is called fan Court. It's the game where
- 47:49Speaker 2: I'll be asking our players to defend elements of the
- 47:52Speaker 2: Twilight Saga, no matter how they feel about them. I
- 47:55Speaker 2: will be playing the role of a pop culture judge,
- 47:57Speaker 2: which is a real thing, and our team will be
- 48:00Speaker 2: playing the roles of lawyers, taking turns to prosecute or
- 48:03Speaker 2: defend each statement. Each team will have one minute to
- 48:06Speaker 2: make their case, and I'll be I'll be strict with
- 48:08Speaker 2: the time this time because I've got a big clock.
- 48:11Speaker 2: You've got to make sure. Sorry, you've got to be
- 48:15Speaker 2: careful on Amazon when you put that in.
- 48:17Speaker 5: What does he have He has a moderately sized clock.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Oh no, I'll take moderately sized. No, I've heard it's big. Well,
- 48:33Speaker 3: this one is Crystal scene the big clock. Okay, it's
- 48:43Speaker 3: right in front of us.
- 48:44Speaker 5: All that has taken out his big clock. For anyone
- 48:48Speaker 5: listening to the.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Everyone in the audience can see that it's big clock.
- 48:55Speaker 2: We said we were going to get a curtain for
- 48:56Speaker 2: the table.
- 48:57Speaker 1: There's no modesty curtains here.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Each team will have one minute to make their case,
- 49:04Speaker 2: and they can use the time how they wish. Points
- 49:06Speaker 2: will be awarded for fandom knowledge, strong arguments, and acting
- 49:09Speaker 2: like a big shot lawyer, you know, the ones with
- 49:10Speaker 2: like the suspenders in that.
- 49:12Speaker 1: If you act like that, cornleg Horn, got it exactly.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Be careful with the accent.
- 49:19Speaker 2: So I'm going to need some help from our wonderful audience,
- 49:22Speaker 2: specifically those who said they were Twilight fans? Could could
- 49:25Speaker 2: you all yell out? I should just said y'all for
- 49:27Speaker 2: the first time.
- 49:30Speaker 6: Texting it to you so many timesating you couldn't.
- 49:38Speaker 3: It was a joke.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Can any Twilight fans shout out any parts of Twilight
- 49:43Speaker 2: they find a problematic or troubling or just plain bad? Okay,
- 49:50Speaker 2: I'd like to hear these two again. Please.
- 49:52Speaker 3: The baby choose through the spine.
- 49:57Speaker 2: That is an awful sentence, but I love it, Amanda
- 50:00Speaker 2: Jacob on a minor Okay, we we might get into
- 50:06Speaker 2: that if we're feeling spicy, but let's start with the
- 50:08Speaker 2: spine one and see where we are.
- 50:09Speaker 3: For part two.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Okay, So, could you could you say that again one
- 50:14Speaker 2: more time?
- 50:15Speaker 3: The Baby choose.
- 50:18Speaker 2: The baby choose through Bella's spine. Okay, I think that
- 50:21Speaker 2: this one, we're gonna have foreskin of a killer, prosecute
- 50:25Speaker 2: that statement and be against that statement. Okay, well we're
- 50:29Speaker 2: going to have Breaking Winds part one and part two.
- 50:31Speaker 2: You're going to be for that statement and you think
- 50:33Speaker 2: it's a good thing that happens. So we're gonna hear
- 50:34Speaker 2: the prosecuting case first. I think that's what happens in
- 50:37Speaker 2: a court.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Yes, I don't know. I did not trial, are you
- 50:41Speaker 3: guys ready?
- 50:41Speaker 5: I did team court, which feels like the same.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Sorry, if children in my town did anything wrong in
- 50:50Speaker 4: their school, they were tried by a jury of their
- 50:52Speaker 4: peers and prosecuting.
- 50:57Speaker 3: The blood bags were a mistake.
- 50:59Speaker 2: The blood bags were such a mistake.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Okay, so your minute stops now, all right.
- 51:07Speaker 6: So basically what happens is Bella who has just turned
- 51:10Speaker 6: eighteen and been married, or she is about to turn nineteen,
- 51:13Speaker 6: but refuses to turn when she's nineteen, so she's like,
- 51:17Speaker 6: right before I turn nineteen, please turn me.
- 51:20Speaker 1: But she actually gets pregnant on their honeymoon.
- 51:23Speaker 6: So this is someone who finds out like basically fourteen
- 51:29Speaker 6: or seventeen days after she has had sex for the
- 51:31Speaker 6: first time, that she is pregnant, and she has decided, Yes,
- 51:35Speaker 6: I know that this may kill me second, but I'm
- 51:37Speaker 6: gonna get pregnant and let this baby potentially kill me.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I would argue that
- 51:45Speaker 4: a woman's right to choose should be We should inform
- 51:51Speaker 4: women of the risks of birth.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Is it a choice?
- 51:55Speaker 4: If we withhold information about the risks of pregnant, are
- 52:01Speaker 4: we limiting women's right to choose by limiting the information
- 52:04Speaker 4: that they receive about the baby that could choose through
- 52:06Speaker 4: their spine?
- 52:07Speaker 3: That's your time.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Okay, well, we've heard from the prosecuting team, but let's
- 52:13Speaker 2: hear from the defense team defending the baby chewing through
- 52:16Speaker 2: Bella's spine.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah time now, Ladies and gentlemen, have to present this
- 52:29Speaker 3: right now, do you? Folks?
- 52:31Speaker 7: This just says that Bella has a spine to begin
- 52:36Speaker 7: with that, I gotta I got someone else over here.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Thank you, Bernie Sander.
- 52:47Speaker 8: In this lifetime, it is the mother who eats the
- 52:51Speaker 8: baby's placenta when they are born, But in this case
- 52:57Speaker 8: is the baby who eats the mother Bee.
- 53:00Speaker 3: It's the revenge of the baby revenge of the baby.
- 53:05Speaker 3: She didn't ask to be born half vampire. What was
- 53:08Speaker 3: she supposed to do? Not you through a spine?
- 53:10Speaker 5: It was there.
- 53:12Speaker 3: It was crunchy, hold off, hold off, you're losing them.
- 53:18Speaker 3: She had a spine to begin with. Let's start from
- 53:22Speaker 3: the top, and that's your time. Fantastic.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I love you all right, well, good stuff. As the judge,
- 53:36Speaker 2: I will now hand out points out of out of
- 53:39Speaker 2: five for each team. I think we'll go for the
- 53:42Speaker 2: prosecuting side. I enjoyed ladies and gentlemen of the jury.
- 53:45Speaker 3: That was good. But they have like suspendeds and he
- 53:50Speaker 3: was doing a voice and that was that was pretty good.
- 53:52Speaker 3: He was doing Bernie. He could be alarmed.
- 53:56Speaker 2: You like him, don't out me as a leftist. Ice
- 54:01Speaker 2: could be listening. So I think I'm gonna give three
- 54:08Speaker 2: out of five points to the prosecuting But I really
- 54:10Speaker 2: enjoyed these I really enjoyed the defense from Crystal of
- 54:14Speaker 2: the baby needed to eat. Babies need to eat, that's true.
- 54:17Speaker 2: So I'm gonna give four out of five points to
- 54:20Speaker 2: the defense lawyers. Okay, we're gonna flip this around so
- 54:26Speaker 2: you both get a turn each one. I think should
- 54:29Speaker 2: we should we go back to what Amanda said, should
- 54:31Speaker 2: we should we go back to it is the most
- 54:33Speaker 2: problematic thing from Twilight, right, Okay, so we'll start with
- 54:40Speaker 2: the prosecuting lawyers. You are prosecuting the statement Jacob imprinted
- 54:45Speaker 2: onto an infant.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Is that correct?
- 54:47Speaker 2: Yes, So you are attacking that. You think that's a
- 54:51Speaker 2: bad thing.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah, of course it's a bad thing. I don't think
- 54:54Speaker 3: we can make that thing.
- 54:56Speaker 8: To point out that in New Moon, Jacob just turns
- 55:00Speaker 8: sixteen and Bella just turns eighteen, So like she was
- 55:05Speaker 8: grooming him.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Wait wait, wait, we're going against it. We're I'm going there,
- 55:09Speaker 3: I'm going there.
- 55:10Speaker 8: So like this.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Is yeah, no, this is bad. It's really bad.
- 55:18Speaker 8: And she's going, yeah, no, this is bad because then
- 55:21Speaker 8: he does the same thing to her daughter, so he
- 55:24Speaker 8: decides to, you know, pursue this, let.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Her cook exactly. Would you want to add anything, Yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 3: I'll add something on that. He's actually three hundred, is
- 55:35Speaker 3: he not? That's like his real age. He's awarewolf, not
- 55:38Speaker 3: a very higher fuck. So this is a bad thing
- 55:46Speaker 3: because miners can't consent. Yeah, they cantlude if you want
- 55:52Speaker 3: to play.
- 55:53Speaker 8: She's a baby, which even it's less than a minor baby,
- 55:59Speaker 8: a baby.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Confused, remind me where they pro works they were they
- 56:07Speaker 2: were against it.
- 56:08Speaker 3: They were prosecuting.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the imprinting on a baby.
- 56:13Speaker 3: They got in the key stuff about being a baby.
- 56:15Speaker 7: All we had to do is say facts, things that
- 56:18Speaker 7: actually happened in the book.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Now you have the tougher job of defending that plot points. Okay, okay,
- 56:23Speaker 2: are you ready? Time starts now, I say, I.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Say, I say us.
- 56:31Speaker 4: So, as some people know Stephanie Meyer mayor I'll never know,
- 56:37Speaker 4: she is a member of the LDS Faith Latter day Saints,
- 56:41Speaker 4: And in this story it is pretty made made pretty clear.
- 56:46Speaker 5: That this is also a protective situation.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Jacob is vowing not necessarily to love her if she
- 56:53Speaker 4: does not love him, but to protect him. And I
- 56:56Speaker 4: think that there is a strong patriarchal energy within the
- 57:00Speaker 4: Mormon faith, and actually to be against this is like
- 57:04Speaker 4: violating your right to religion within this country. It is
- 57:09Speaker 4: her right as a member of the Mormon faith to
- 57:12Speaker 4: write this patriarchal thing where he is vowed with his
- 57:17Speaker 4: soul to protect her and she is allowed to marry
- 57:21Speaker 4: somebody else. He'd be pretty mad, but he's she's absolutely allowed.
- 57:31Speaker 2: That was a tough subject to try and defend, but
- 57:34Speaker 2: I think you got to it by attacking moments point of.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I also had suspenders.
- 57:43Speaker 5: Let the let the court reflected.
- 57:46Speaker 4: Suspendographer has noted that you had suspended it.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Does I enjoy it? I'd like, and you hate for
- 57:58Speaker 2: my entertainment?
- 57:58Speaker 3: I guess I enjoy it.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I enjoy the day. I say, I say, I say,
- 58:02Speaker 2: that's good. You're getting points in your paper for that.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Obviously you guys had the easier case, but you still
- 58:07Speaker 2: brought up the good points of don't do that to
- 58:09Speaker 2: a baby.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Yeah that's good.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I feel like I have to give
- 58:14Speaker 2: you four points, but I'm also going to give the
- 58:16Speaker 2: defense side four points for actually defending a very difficult
- 58:19Speaker 2: thing to defend publicly.
- 58:20Speaker 7: Religious for you, imagine if you gave us like two
- 58:24Speaker 7: points for that. Imagine that before.
- 58:28Speaker 1: You did get the facts wrong and think that Jacob
- 58:30Speaker 1: was what three hundred years old?
- 58:31Speaker 2: And that's why I didn't get five.
- 58:33Speaker 3: Hey, I started out the statement my saying he was sixteen.
- 58:36Speaker 3: It's not my fault, my teammate. I That's what I'm
- 58:42Speaker 3: gonna do next.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Time.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Yes, because that's the end of the round.
- 58:51Speaker 2: Producer Jen, could you please imprint your knowledge upon the
- 58:54Speaker 2: latest sculls?
- 58:56Speaker 3: Okay, can we get the sculls?
- 58:57Speaker 10: Then?
- 59:00Speaker 5: Is on show Shocker breaking with part one and two?
- 59:04Speaker 3: Also one.
- 59:09Speaker 10: It's a fucking killer. Yeah, I have a foreskin as
- 59:15Speaker 10: a killer foreskin, not the killer. I'm just the foreskin.
- 59:22Speaker 10: I'm part of the.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Brisk our team. I'm really confused.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Yeah it is Okay, up next this round three after
- 59:32Speaker 2: these commercials, unless you're here alive and then whoa beautiful.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Round three is called fan fickle. It's all filling the
- 59:43Speaker 2: blank fan fiction game. You guys have white bullets in front.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Of you, right, Okay, it's the odor on my team
- 59:51Speaker 1: this time.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Okay, I've scoured the internet for the finest Twilight fan fiction,
- 59:57Speaker 2: and I now want to scour my eyes. I I
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: will read the first part of an extract from some
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Twilight fan fiction, and each of our players will then
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: fill in the blank, writing down their answers on the
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: whiteboard in front of them. Funniest dances get points, but
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I'll also give bonus points if you're actually close to
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: what the text said.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Oh, we have to write them.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: It's not a multiple choice choice. Explain the rules again,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: I wasn't listening.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Fun funniest you guys, Joe Right.
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: So, just for the record, Casey does teach stand up,
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: so and Crystal is also a really good stand up
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: I'm really glad Are does really good quick sketch and
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: like really quick wit stuff.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: I wrote fan fic in high school.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I'm alone on an.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: Island for this.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Don't tell them I teach the classes until after this.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: See how this goes? What's to promote his class?
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Okay, So this first extract is from a thick called
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Wide Awake. It's one of the most famous Twilight fanfics.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Edward and Bella are just humans who fall in love,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: so they take away all the supernatural stuff and it's
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: just humans. And it's three hundred and sixty thousand words long.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Sorry, well you were how long?
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: The original series? Way longer?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: One MARCHI how long?
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Three hundred and sixty thousand words, nine hundred and fifty pages.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I read it all, No, but I did read this extract.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: So here it is. You read a paragraph.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Edward kissed me and not just a little peck either,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: full out tongues and panting. I wanted more. His tongue
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: was divine against mine. I felt parts of my body
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: tingle that I didn't even know existed, and then I
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: heard it blank, and then I heard it blank.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: So what did what did Bella hear? After this?
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: The difficulty in this is that the difficulty in this,
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: I'll say this to the room. Hey, this doesn't have
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: to be a secret. The difficulty in this is often
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: the fan fiction is written poorly, so I don't know
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: who heard what. I have no clue, and that it
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: makes it difficult.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: It's open to interpretation.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: It's open to interpretation.
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: Yeah, because I'm I'm going one way and I'm wondering
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: if you want to go the other way or if
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: we should both go the way we think?
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Well, follow up, follow.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Your heart, you follow your heart, Okay, I'll follow my heart, okay,
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: just like Bella Swan.
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: Yeah, the heart of one hundred and four year old man.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Okay, But Lucy, we're talking about defining shit here.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: They state that, like when they turn children, that they
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: stay in that state of arrested development.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: He turned when he was seventeen. The brain is not turned.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: Until you're fully like twenty six or thirty if you
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: have neurodivergence, potentially, so, in fact, this man is seventeen.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: He genuinely has been seven team for a long time.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: These would have been great things to bring up in court.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: Too bad.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: It was.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Okay, so we all got answers. Okay, no rewriting, So
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: we're gonna hope of breaking winds.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: You're not?
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: No, I didn't.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I just don't have an answer. I've been starling for
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: two minutes. Okay.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: First the extract is I felt parts of my body
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: tingled that I didn't even know existed, and then I
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: heard it.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Casey a queen. I run a howling queen. Howling queen.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Wow, that's pretty Florence and the machine coder, yeah, uh
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: huh howling?
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: Okay, and Crystal, what did you put for that? I
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: just put a howl, just a howl.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: No queen, Okay, it's anods like you should be Team Jake.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: What a hell without a queaf? Am? I right? What's
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: a queen without a house?
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: Sorry?
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: Dogs?
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: Do you need to.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: What's a hewl about?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Okay, fantastic, Let's find out what what false skin of
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: a killer?
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: I put his deep groan of desire is deep grown
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: of desire ice, And I.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: Wrote so quick.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: My penmanship is god awful his gem incrusted Dick Harden,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: he sparkles in the sunlight of her love.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: What a sentence.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Okay, well, I'm gonna the answer that maybe laughed the
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: most was a howling quief. So Casey, Casey points for
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: howling queen, but I am also handing that's one point
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: for Casey, and I will also hand out a point
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: for Julia because you said groan, right, I did. Yeah,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: the actual answer is the groan that would be echoing
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: in the deepest recesses of my memory for years to come.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: Yeah, every single person in this room with.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Well, there's three more extracts. So okay.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: Next extract is from a thick cold of warmth and waiting.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: This is a Jacob black X Edward Cullen thick. Okay, okay,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: some excitement for that. Edward thought his life was going
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: to be brooding and tragic. Instead, Jacob showed up. It's fine,
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: everything's fine. That's the synopsis.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Here is the extract.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Edward sighed softly, brushing soil from his fingers before lifting
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: his head. Sure enough, Jacob stood at the break in
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: the trees, half shadowed by pine. His arms were crossed,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: is jaw tight, but his eyes, Those restless, searching eyes
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: were fixed not on Edward's face but on blank. What
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: were those eyes fixed on? I have a feeling the
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: whispers in the audience are going to produce better answers
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: than some of these on stage.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: Sometimes my partnership is so bad. Sometimes I can't read
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: my own writing.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Okay, this time we will start with foreskin of a killer.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: His arms were crossed, his j your type, but his eyes,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: those restless, searching eyes were fixed not on Edward's face but.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: On Edward's two messins.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Edward's two messons. Good use of the word two messence. Yeah,
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: without the wink next time, please.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry, And first I'm gonna start with a wink.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: His eyes were on Edward's flesh, shimmering in the sunlight
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: of his desire.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Oh that's good fanfic writing. Okay, let's find out what
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Breaking Winds Part one and Part two have. We're fixed
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: not on Edward's face but on bosom.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Yes, we love a heaving buzzom, God we do. Okay
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: it was his eyes?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Was his eyes?
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: His eyes were fixed on not Edgeward's face, but on blank,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: on his full new moon.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Nice butthole.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I don't think that full moon makes you think of butthole.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: I thought I thought I was thinking spread cheek. Okay,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: it's always good just for a clean take.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: I think that's a super massive black hole.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Yeah, black sun. Let me come.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Earlier when I did that bit where he made everyone angry.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: You don't like twilight.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Okay, So no points for accuracy for this one, because
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: the actual answer was the row of flower beds behind him.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Nice and clean.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Sometimes it's clean, dumb dug. But I think my favorite
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: answer was heaving buzzom, because that's such a Actually I
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: did also, Julia, what was your answer to Edward's no?
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: But you winked at me?
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: It's the point goes to Crystal.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: I have been betrayed, and my pack will never forget this,
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: all right, never forgive, never forgot.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I'm the alpha.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel threatened. Okay.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Next fanfic is called Lord of His Ring.
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: While hunting it Curious Curious.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: While hunting in the Misty Mountains, Edward Cullen finds something
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: he never expected. I stood at the edge of the
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: stream by that cave, looking out in awe as I
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: saw him bite the fishhead clean off. How I envied
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: that fish to have his thin gray lips wrapped around it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: I delighted in watching his tight skin move across his
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: strung defined back. Each bump I counted in his spine
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: made my blank. Oh yeah, if I had to read this,
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: you have to hear it. Okay, one more time.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: Is like a Romeo and Juliet rip off of like
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: oh to be that glove upon that hand?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Gross?
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: Can you read it more credit than it deserves?
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Honestly read it one more time, but in your NPR voice.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: I stood at the edge of the stream by that cave,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: looking out in Oz. I saw him bite the fishhead
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: clean off. How I envied that fish to have his
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: thin gray lips wrapped around it. I delighted in watching
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: his tight skin move across his strung defined back. Each
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: bump I counted in his spine made my blank?
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: What did it make his?
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: What?
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Was that answer?
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: No?
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Then hush, everyone gets he's talking about Gollum?
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: Right? Yeah? Yeah, No, I was thinking wrong, truly. Yeah.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: I was still on the Edward and Jacob.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: Oh that's fair. If that's how it's read, then then
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: go for it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: Wait, how is it not Edward and Jacob? It's all
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: of it it's all the.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Things it could no, it could be everything. But it
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: is also set in the misty mountains, and it's called
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: the Lord of His Ring.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I need to know what the ring is?
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Wait, Max, can you tell me?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Is there a cockering?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: If you write that there's a cockering, then there's a cockering. Okay,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: let's let's find out. Some An says here from Breaking
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Winds Part one and two. Each bump I counted in
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: his spine made my Oh my god, Christ, what have
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: you got?
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: I just gave a classy answer that I think everyone
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: you know, of all ages can kind of vibe with.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: I said, cock throw. This is what we're at the
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Late Show for.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Thanks for someone turning off for a sign that says
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: cock throb, cock throb? All right, casey, what you got?
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: Oh?

- 1:11:31Speaker 3: it makes my makes he gets my gand off If
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: it doesn't make sense, it makes me. Gandolf me off
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: is what I wrote? Okay? Olf bee off is what
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: I wrote. That's what he wrote, Little Gandolf be off.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: Or twice.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Okay, let's let's find out what foreskin of a killer
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: of butt Each bump. I counted in his spine, made
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: my heart like the Armies of mor door Ooh, nice
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: drums and Julia.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Maybe my pubic curlies stand on it.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: No way you wrote that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: I had to watch it happen. Curlies just short cur
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I don't know why the word curlies is the grossest.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: It's gross. Next time you go to Arby's and they're like,
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: you want the curlies. No, I don't want the curlies.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Pubic curlies is getting the point for making the room
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: laugh because that's a weird phrase. So point over there
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: for four Skin of a Killer, but also Breaking Winds
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Part one and part two, you're getting an accuracy point.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: But I think for cock throb, I read, yeah, it's
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: just volatile, angry, rage filled, don't escape my zipper.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: We allay, yeah that happens, it works, Okay.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: The last fan fiction is perhaps the most famous Twilight
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: fan fiction out there.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: It is fifty Shades of Gray.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Oh, I think I know something about it?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: All right, maybe one thing.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Let's see if you remember this exact extract, you're everyone
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: familiar with fifty Shades of Gray. Oh no, all right,
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: follows the intense and complicated relationship between innocent college graduate
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Anastasia Steel and wealthy enigmatic businessman Christian.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Gray, Classic Jacob and Carla.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: My OTP And here is your extract. Does this mean
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: you're going to make love to me tonight?
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: Christian?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Holy shit? Did I just say that? His mouth drops
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: open slightly, but he recovers quickly. No, Anastasia, it doesn't. Firstly,
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: I don't make love.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: I blank. What does Christian do? He doesn't make love?
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: He blanks because it was the thing after I remember.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Oh no, we might get accuracy, okay.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Accuracy, we might get curracy points.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: Accuracy points for this one.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: We're going to start with Casey and Crystal, though, Casey,
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: what have you put? I don't make love.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: I spray love?
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: Okay, No, you guys, spray love, Spray love.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: That's what that was about. Eats spray love.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Elizabeth, girl there, I have been on the stage too
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: long to night. Casey's going mad, Crystal, I don't make love.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I fuck hard.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Audience seems happy with that one. Over to Full Skin
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: of a Killer. Julia, what have you got?
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: Fuck?
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Okay? Similar answer there, Ordra, I don't make love.
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: I I was going to say that he doesn't make love.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: He acquires love at a reasonable price considering market conditions.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: But I went with I don't make love, I make fuck.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to give Ultra the point for making
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: everyone laugh.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: My God, thank you.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna Casey a point for spraying love. I say
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: comedy each side, spraying everyone tonight, and we'll say an
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: act point each side because fuck is very similar to fuckhard.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: So don't wink at me again, please, Gen, I need
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: her cry. It wasn't even sp spire.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Okay. That is the end of the round.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Producer, Jen, could you please get us away from this
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: film and give us a nice clean read of the scores.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: But I'm reading the scores in post because about eight
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: minutes ago we lost our audience microphone. You might have
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: been able to tell. That's why the sound has been
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: weird for the last eight minutes of you listening to
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: this podcast, and it will continue to be so for
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: the rest of the episode. It's live, independent comedy and
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: bless you for supporting it. And now the scores for
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Skin of a Killer are on sixteen points, but taking
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: the lead breaking wind part one and part two with
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: seventeen points.
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: Whoa Okay, Yeah, I just want to say I have
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: never lost a Pandemonium yet, so.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: You know what, I've had two blood bags.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: The pain will be nothing hurts anymore. Okay.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Before we get to our final deciding quick fire around,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: where pretty much most of the points will be stored
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: in it, I'm want to remind our play is not
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: audience of our mystery Star prize.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: At the winner of that, I can say I like it.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: It's am I allowed to guess what's inside if you'd
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: like to say guess.
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: Okay, because it's Twilight themed, I'm going with the Golden Onion.
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: That's way better than hold on, wait, hold on, I
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: don't understand. Tell me, oh, because of the microscope movie.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: The microscope, they look the different phases like and phase
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: proto phase because they were.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Yeah, this is all gone. All right, Well that's don't
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: censor me. Okay, we're ready for our quick fire around. Okay.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Our final quick fire around will test your broader pop
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: culture knowledge and it's called Team Edward versus Team Jacob.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: In this game, I will give our players clues to
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: a famous Edward or Jacob from pop culture history.
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: No, no, I'm.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: I like stuff other than Twilight.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Those clues will be in the style of Stephanie Meyer's
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: writing describing that individual. There is, of course a classic
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Pandemonium twist. You need to answer by saying team, then
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Edward or Jacob, and then the surname of the person
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: in question.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: So we don't have to like a foreskin team blank.
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: We just have to say team blank and then they'll.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: Thing, well you have to buzz yeah, yeah, god, okay,
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: we can still get to shout for skin.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: Oh so it's it is quick fires.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: So I'm gonna say part two perfect.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I'll listen to that. Yell anything from your team name
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: and that's all good. So that's how you buzz in.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: Let's do a practice one just so we know how
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: this goes. Buzz in when you won.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: Part one one, Yes, you know what I meant. Part two?
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: You know you know the answer to the clue. I
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: haven't started reading yet.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: No, you said practice okay, yeah, okay, okay.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Let's let's practice the buses. Let's practice the buzzes.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: You're right, you're right before. Okay, Now now we'll practice
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: the question.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: Uh. He was an entire script rewritten in secret, every
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: line hiding a revelation he carried the chaos of fight
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: club and his heart beat wounded Morrow.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Yes, Team Edward Norton.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Team Edward Norton would be the correct answer that.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: Baby beat. So listen to the references. This doesn't count,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: that didn't count. You know it doesn't care practice. I
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: don't have any more practices. I'm sorry.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: You can say that one again if you want to
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: buzz it, Edward.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Norton, That's exactly how you would ask that question.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: Yes, Part one, I'm gonna there's plenty of clu spas
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: to get so you can interrupt me at any point.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Are we ready? Yes, I'll start the time that there
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: was something about him that felt like contradiction made flesh.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: He would only salt when it burned, would only kissing booths,
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: and carried himself as though he would Yes, I mean foreskin,
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Team Jacob A LORDI Yes, that's what I've got here.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: The fuck I knew I should run. He was danger, exile, treason,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: but his voice quiet, intense, like the blowing of a whistle.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: With every word of his intelligence contract. I fell further,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: longing to follow him into hiding in Moscow. Part two, Yes, casey.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Uh, Team Jacob Saddam Hussein, that's not what it is. Yes, Yes,
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: do you want to go to you?
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: I mean, no, you go.
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: I just I'm team Edward Snow.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: His eyes, Oh god, those eyes.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: They weren't the hollow sockets I'd been told to expect
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: of ghosts. He told me he was bound to wonder,
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: that his chains were forged by the chaos of his
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: own making. Yes, Odre, team Jacob Marley, it is team
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: Jacob Rowley's and the Christmas Carol.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: Good stuff.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: What think about you, Jacobs and your Edwards? Come on now,
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: I know anything Eddie Izzard. Yeah, he may show up.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Wait for it.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: There was the quiet obsession of night Crawler in his gaze,
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: the bruised tenderness of broke Back Mountain in the way
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: he turned his head, and the impossible dreamer of something. Yes, Julia,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Team Jacob Hall. It's team Jacob Jillen Hall. Yes, good stuff, Jacob,
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: jill Jake Jillen. You gotta say, oh my god, I
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: watch broke Back Mountain. I've owned broke Back.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: I saw Brokeback Mountain in the theaters with my grandma.
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: Hear me saying I owned it.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: He sat on his hand and I watched that in
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: front of my grandma. Yeah, yeah, damn's the one that
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: was sitting right there.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: My grandma made me leave Mama Mia because it was
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: a little too horny.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: I'm just gonna keep reading clues.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: He didn't look perfect, If anything, he looked ordinary, too ordinary,
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: like fire that had fallen asleep in the rain, eyes
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: the color of old Denham. People said he was a singer,
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: a poet. Yes, Crystal Edward Shearing, Team Edward Shearing, Part
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: two the point, Team Edward Shear, and that is correct
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: good stuff. No, that's fantastic. It was the correct answer.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: People whispered about him, about the things he'd created and
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: the things he'd accidentally destroyed.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: The tragedy wasn't that he could cut.
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: It was that.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: I actually heard part two before Julia could say full stom.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Team Edward says, Team Edwards says. As good stuff, he
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: shouldn't have made sense, none of it. Should have a
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: talking dog with eyes that seemed too human and a
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: body that could bend and twist like reality itself had
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: decided to take a nap in time.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: He will be My adventure Part two, Part two.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: You keep saying Team Julia instead of fal skin. I
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: heard part two first casey.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: Uh, Team Jacob Slinky from Toy Story. Oh that's yes, Julia.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Okay, Team Jake the Dog from Adventure Time.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: Yes, that's what I've got here. Oh wait, No, you
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: didn't say Jacob the Dog in case he Jacob the Dogs.
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: Yeah I did. Yeah, I will you until I end you.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: They said he'd lived a hundred lives, a comedian, a prince,
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: a cop, a donkey.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: But standing there, I realized that she was sorry.
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: Julia.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Alright, alright, alright, team start Edward Murphy. Yes, it's Team Edward.
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: Can I buzz in for Julia?
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: If you would like.
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: Anybody give up for a man who's saved two of
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: us today.
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we've almost died.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: Just a few more of these gangs there, we'll be
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: out of here. He looked like a storm, trying to
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: remember it used to be human. People only saw the fighter,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: the spectacle, the YouTube prankster who turned Yes, Crystal, Team
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Jacob Paul. It is Team Jacob pol.
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: Can we have the point removed for even saying the fray?
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: Sorry? It's the game.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: He didn't just enter an arena, he transformed it. The
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: crowd roared for him.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: Yes, yes, Team Jacobina.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: That's not what I've got here, But you're thinking along
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: the right lines. They saw the glint in his eyes
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: that said lie, cheat and steel. He was my superstar
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: gone before. Yes, Casey, Team Jacob the Snake. Oh no,
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: but you're thinking wrestling foreskin.

- 1:26:03Speaker 2: the world shifted in ways you didn't realize were possible,
