- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for You, Here.
- 0:05Speaker 3: For Good Number one music from Ella Langley with The
- 0:09Speaker 3: Big Show Froggy, John and Meghan for your Monday.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Good morning Megan, Good morning morning John, Morning Frog. Welcome
- 0:15Speaker 4: back to another week. How was your weekend? John? It
- 0:18Speaker 4: was not as busy as Megan's. It was.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Megan was all over the place. We ran around, we
- 0:23Speaker 3: did normal stuff. We went to a high school championship
- 0:25Speaker 3: basketball game on Friday. We wrote, We ran around and
- 0:29Speaker 3: got paint samples. Oh, you know that was fun. And
- 0:33Speaker 3: what's your painting? Painting the house outside of the house,
- 0:35Speaker 3: the outside. We've been meaning to paint the outside of
- 0:37Speaker 3: the house since we bought it.
- 0:38Speaker 4: May too. I bought my house seven years ago. I'm
- 0:40Speaker 4: not going to sell it before I paint it. Great.
- 0:42Speaker 4: That's what It's worked out really well for us. And
- 0:44Speaker 4: aside from that, Megan was busy.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I'm a little crispy this morning. I feel like I've
- 0:48Speaker 5: got a little son on my face.
- 0:49Speaker 4: So players on Friday, Yeah.
- 0:52Speaker 6: Theovon Saturday night, which they didn't realize how late they
- 0:56Speaker 6: were starting nine thirty.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Oh okay, oh yeah, so many shows I think or
- 1:01Speaker 3: something didn't he Yeah.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and then yesterday you were in SeaWorld, Yeah, for
- 1:05Speaker 6: the Seven Seas Food Festival.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Look at you. I know he wanted to just nap today. Here,
- 1:12Speaker 4: I think.
- 1:12Speaker 5: So I've got my energy drink.
- 1:15Speaker 4: We'll wake you up. We're good. I have so many
- 1:17Speaker 4: chemicals and that thing. You're going to be awake for
- 1:19Speaker 4: three days after you drink that.
- 1:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:20Speaker 5: I saw this girl online.
- 1:21Speaker 6: She said that she was like, way way too much
- 1:26Speaker 6: like vitamin B in her system from energy drinks. And
- 1:30Speaker 6: then I was like, oh, I'm gonna have to look
- 1:32Speaker 6: at this. Sixty percent of your daily your daily serving.
- 1:35Speaker 3: So probably how many days of the players did you
- 1:38Speaker 3: end up going to because at first, say two weeks ago,
- 1:40Speaker 3: you weren't going to any days, going to go to
- 1:41Speaker 3: any And I went to one? Oh you only went
- 1:43Speaker 3: to one. I went to one. I went to Saturday
- 1:45Speaker 3: because my wife was asking. I was like, normally there's
- 1:47Speaker 3: gonna be somebody that's going to throw some down he'll go.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Oh, I'll go. I did have the option to go
- 1:51Speaker 4: yesterday mare. I was worried about the rain moving in
- 1:54Speaker 4: and I needed to mow the yard yesterday. Yeah, so
- 1:56Speaker 4: I got that done yesterday and cool, and then I'm like,
- 1:58Speaker 4: it was getting late. I saw awesome storms building and
- 2:01Speaker 4: I'm like, you know what, I'm just gonna stay home
- 2:02Speaker 4: and watch the end of it. And it was. The
- 2:04Speaker 4: ending was kind of anti climatic the way I went down.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I like the ending better than he did. Evidently he did.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I text a tournament, he goes that was kinda anicpa
- 2:12Speaker 3: who won?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Kim Young Okay, Cameron Young one. He kind of just
- 2:18Speaker 4: kind of hung around near the top of the leaderboard
- 2:20Speaker 4: and then the rest of them, everybody as you do it.
- 2:22Speaker 4: The players watched them. Peel Away played Dad at the end,
- 2:25Speaker 4: and he made a birdie on seventeen the Island Green,
- 2:28Speaker 4: and then went to eighteen and hit the drive. I
- 2:30Speaker 4: will sayst that drive on eighteen drive was was old,
- 2:33Speaker 4: maybe the greatest shot he's ever hit in his life. Yeah.
- 2:36Speaker 5: We're probably gonna have it on the TV today, aren't we.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll be watching by lights all morning long. I
- 2:43Speaker 4: was here yesterday. Oh my gosh, the eighteenth Girl. Dylan
- 2:48Speaker 4: Dryer was here interviewing Cam Young in the eighteenth Green.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Ye Dylan Dryer from the Today Show. I should have gone.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The Today Show comes on here in our TV after
- 2:55Speaker 3: our first Coast news on Good Morning Jacksonville. Yes, and
- 2:59Speaker 3: Dylan Dryer sparks interest in this room.
- 3:01Speaker 6: Yes, Oh my gosh, you're Jack and I.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Know that's you should have gone.
- 3:07Speaker 4: There's my chance. I'm also married, but whatever. On Jacksonville Monday,
- 3:14Speaker 4: all get ready's gonna be a nice day today. You're
- 3:16Speaker 4: gonna have another round of showers later this afternoon. And
- 3:20Speaker 4: then Puck Satawani John is under fire man. I'm under
- 3:23Speaker 4: the gun. It's going to be forty one tonight. Better
- 3:26Speaker 4: not find any cold pockets.
- 3:27Speaker 3: No cold pockets, please, nothing but hot pockets.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Well.
- 3:33Speaker 6: The Devil Worst Product Too is hitting theaters May first,
- 3:37Speaker 6: and they're doing this really cool popcorn container launch at
- 3:40Speaker 6: Regal Theaters for it.
- 3:42Speaker 5: This just got released.
- 3:43Speaker 6: It's a red purse like a handbag with a Devil
- 3:47Speaker 6: Worst Product to themed keychain on the bag. I think
- 3:50Speaker 6: this is going to have a lot of people going
- 3:53Speaker 6: up to the theater maybe just to get that. It's
- 3:54Speaker 6: really cute, just to get the bag popcorn purse. The
- 3:57Speaker 6: first outdoor food hall is opening, so it's called the
- 4:00Speaker 6: Blocks Jacks.
- 4:02Speaker 5: It's really cool. There's a big kids park, a dog park,
- 4:05Speaker 5: a thirty.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Foot like big led wall that you can watch different
- 4:11Speaker 6: sporting events going on.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It's the same thing over here at Gate Parkway you
- 4:14Speaker 4: have the block Jacks. It's cool.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Yeah, and there's gonna be a space too for just
- 4:18Speaker 6: twenty one plus so you'll be able to have kids
- 4:20Speaker 6: in one area and then the adult's doing adult things
- 4:23Speaker 6: in another area. And then the Jags owner Shod Con
- 4:26Speaker 6: he made the list of the Forbes Richest People one
- 4:30Speaker 6: hundred and ninety three. I think it's kind of cool
- 4:33Speaker 6: because like Elon Musk and all the other big names
- 4:36Speaker 6: are on it, so.
- 4:37Speaker 4: It's kind of neat good for show, good for shows.
- 4:39Speaker 5: There's three things you need to know, all right.
- 4:41Speaker 4: If you're up the shirtle, we need to know one thing.
- 4:43Speaker 7: What is it?
- 4:43Speaker 2: John?
- 4:44Speaker 4: Why you call us and tell us right now? Nine
- 4:46Speaker 4: oh four, three eight, eight thirty six at ninety nine
- 4:49Speaker 4: while you call me?
- 4:49Speaker 7: I'm the one that used to be going to Malta
- 4:51Speaker 7: to go to work.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yeah, now I'm going.
- 4:54Speaker 7: To Lake Florest Butner for orientation for a new job.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Well, congratulations on the new job you have.
- 5:00Speaker 7: Uh yeah, I think it'll work out.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Well, that's great. What are you gonna be doing?
- 5:04Speaker 7: Two days of orientation, and then I'll actually be working
- 5:06Speaker 7: out a white house.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Oh okay, awesome.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Instead of so instead of driving an hour to work
- 5:12Speaker 7: every day, I'll have to drive thirty minutes home.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Wait to go, get that commute and that Good morning,
- 5:19Speaker 3: It's the Big Show with Frankie, John and Megan Welcome in.
- 5:22Speaker 4: On the drive in to work this morning, I had
- 5:24Speaker 4: that you know, that feeling where you don't know if
- 5:25Speaker 4: you have a running nose or a bloody nose. Oh yes,
- 5:27Speaker 4: oh had it on the way to work this morning.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Did believe it was had to pull over. It was
- 5:31Speaker 4: bad though. Had to pull over. Wow, it was bad.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I was like, what the heck? Just out of no where. Everything.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I don't even rub nothing, I didn't touch it. I
- 5:39Speaker 4: was just driving in. I'm like, oh running, that might
- 5:42Speaker 4: not be a running It felt like it's almost like
- 5:44Speaker 4: it's moving too fast to be a running nose, right, Like, yeah,
- 5:46Speaker 4: this is not good.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Do you have napkins in your car?
- 5:49Speaker 7: Oh?
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah, oh good?
- 5:50Speaker 4: Yeah. I keep knocking in the car, just not for
- 5:52Speaker 4: that reason. I mean, I'm I'm not like I don't
- 5:54Speaker 4: have bloody noses every week, but I mean like I'm
- 5:56Speaker 4: like I keep a napkin just because you never know
- 5:58Speaker 4: you might need to wipe something. Oh exactly, especially with
- 6:00Speaker 4: the grandchild. We have the same thing we did.
- 6:02Speaker 3: We had put napkins into the new car, and then
- 6:06Speaker 3: my grandson's got like chocolate all over his hands and
- 6:09Speaker 3: he was like wanting to do his hands like and whatever.
- 6:13Speaker 3: And my son's look like, where are y'alls napkins? Normally
- 6:16Speaker 3: you have like a whole buffet of them. I'm like,
- 6:18Speaker 3: we haven't plenished him yet. So the son took his
- 6:20Speaker 3: shirt off and wiped this bad stuff there, baby, that's
- 6:25Speaker 3: bad stuff there. Best to get napkins is Chick fil A.
- 6:27Speaker 3: They give you a bunch of if you ask for
- 6:29Speaker 3: yes or more, they'll give you a whole godful.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, it's great.
- 6:33Speaker 4: So John, are you nervous about your brother prediction?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Well, a little bit, yes, because I went out of
- 6:38Speaker 3: the line. Y'all had my back. Lou Turner from the
- 6:41Speaker 3: First Coast News had my back when I said we're
- 6:44Speaker 3: not going to see the thirties again until November and
- 6:47Speaker 3: and and then this we are.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah, tonight's low says will be forty degrees in Jackson.
- 6:54Speaker 3: It could dip it could dip four zero. I had
- 6:57Speaker 3: business cards printed. Man punks it Toney Jump.
- 7:00Speaker 5: We created a picture of you and your groundhog form
- 7:04Speaker 5: and the radio station.
- 7:05Speaker 3: In the top hat. Yeah, I had the top hat.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I'm getting business cards set up. I'm gonna get my website.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Punks the Tony Jump.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Well, we're gonna have to take away the top hat privileges.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Is that what happened?
- 7:16Speaker 3: That's what you lose the first time you measure. That's
- 7:18Speaker 3: the first thing, Jo, that's the first thing to go. Okay,
- 7:21Speaker 3: so we'll see.
- 7:22Speaker 4: We're talking official weather forecast at the airport. Okay, right,
- 7:27Speaker 4: forty degrees tonight, fifty eight for our high tomorrow and
- 7:30Speaker 4: then forty two on Wednesday mornings. We could escape two chances, Okay,
- 7:36Speaker 4: just fingers crossed, we could escape. I'll be bold. Forty degrees.
- 7:39Speaker 4: We need that to be the bottom.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm still holding strong in my faith for our groundhog.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you, Meg. Yes, it's getting the Meghan's Dashville.
- 7:49Speaker 4: What is going on? Business cards?
- 7:51Speaker 5: You feel like we're morning.
- 7:54Speaker 4: The stupidest thing ever.
- 7:56Speaker 6: So, Dolly Parton's had some health issues and she's been
- 7:59Speaker 6: kind of out of the spotlight lately.
- 8:01Speaker 5: We've seen her do videos and things like that, but
- 8:03Speaker 5: not much more.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Well, she was at Dollywood for the forty first anniversary
- 8:06Speaker 6: of Opening Day and she did address her health sort of.
- 8:10Speaker 6: She said she's just been keeping to herself and she's
- 8:13Speaker 6: been dealing with the grief of her husband passing and
- 8:16Speaker 6: that's been really hard on her.
- 8:17Speaker 4: That's almost been a year. I think that's been Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Riley Green was performing in Australia. Somebody threw their phone
- 8:23Speaker 6: up on stage, hit him in the ear, made him bleed.
- 8:26Speaker 4: He did five stitches to close it up.
- 8:29Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Stop throwing things at people on stage. Man.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I thought it was bad when Travis Tritt used to say,
- 8:35Speaker 3: here's a quarter and people threw quarters on stage.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yes, now he's throwing phones, Like, how do you plan that? Like,
- 8:40Speaker 4: what's your intent? You think you're getting your phone. You're
- 8:42Speaker 4: not getting your phone back, so what are you doing?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Don't I don't know why people are eat up with
- 8:47Speaker 4: the dumbasses. What it's not okay?
- 8:50Speaker 6: Zach Bryan, he made a really big bid. He was
- 8:54Speaker 6: bidding in an auction war. Twelve million dollars is what
- 8:59Speaker 6: he spent. But what he bought is kind of interesting.
- 9:02Speaker 6: He bought Jack Curoacs one hundred and twenty foot manuscript
- 9:06Speaker 6: for On the Road Wow, which was the novel that
- 9:09Speaker 6: became a movie in twenty twelve.
- 9:10Speaker 4: That was a huge book in the fifties.
- 9:12Speaker 6: You know, Yeah, but one hundred and twenty feet long manuscript?
- 9:17Speaker 5: Is that?
- 9:17Speaker 6: You think that's like the copy paper that used to
- 9:19Speaker 6: have the little circles on the side.
- 9:21Speaker 4: And just weird ran through. Yeah, I don't know.
- 9:23Speaker 5: It's kind of interesting.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Yeah, who bought this, Ryan Dang?
- 9:28Speaker 6: Yeah, crazy, I don't know, twelve million dollars.
- 9:31Speaker 4: He's kind of nutty.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Yeah, he is a little bit interesting.
- 9:33Speaker 6: That's a I'm Megan and that's your music city minute.
- 9:36Speaker 4: John check on it jacket Morning John, Good morning, Frog,
- 9:39Speaker 4: Morning Megan, Good morning. So how many places do you
- 9:42Speaker 4: go and they ask you for a tip?
- 9:46Speaker 5: Mostly?
- 9:47Speaker 4: It seems like everywhere now, right, Yeah, So former NFL
- 9:50Speaker 4: star JJ Watt played for the Arizona Cardinals. I believe
- 9:53Speaker 4: last was the last thing he played for, right, But
- 9:55Speaker 4: he was a definite Houston Texan. We bet had to
- 9:57Speaker 4: play him every year. He set off a vibe old
- 10:00Speaker 4: debate about tipping at self service places, which is really
- 10:04Speaker 4: starting to happen where you go and really you do
- 10:07Speaker 4: all the work and like you check your stuff out
- 10:09Speaker 4: of me, and it says do you want to tip?
- 10:11Speaker 6: Well?
- 10:11Speaker 4: Are you tipping yourself? Is this? Is this for me?
- 10:14Speaker 4: And people got upset.
- 10:15Speaker 6: They just stare at you too as they look at you,
- 10:17Speaker 6: and you're in that little screen is upwards, so it's like.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Right, the whole tipping extra tipping things started during COVID
- 10:24Speaker 3: because people were you know, people weren't able to wait
- 10:27Speaker 3: on people. So can we help you as you get
- 10:29Speaker 3: your take out? And now it's continued, but.
- 10:33Speaker 4: If you gotta be careful because sometimes the default is
- 10:36Speaker 4: like twenty five percent, So then you're trying to figure
- 10:38Speaker 4: out how to get it lower. Do you feel bad
- 10:40Speaker 4: because the person's sitting there staring at you? So when
- 10:43Speaker 4: is tipping? When is it expected? And when is it
- 10:47Speaker 4: too much?
- 10:49Speaker 7: Man?
- 10:49Speaker 3: I tip for good service, And if it's at a restaurant,
- 10:53Speaker 3: I will tip. I will. I mean, yes, I do too.
- 10:57Speaker 3: If I do that, I'm definitely a tipper at a
- 10:59Speaker 3: at a down rest.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Oh for sure, I'm a twenty percent person that has
- 11:02Speaker 4: sit down rest me too, at least I'm at least
- 11:04Speaker 4: if they're really really good, or or if you have
- 11:06Speaker 4: a conversation with them and you become like not their friend,
- 11:09Speaker 4: but you become like friendly.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I'm like, y'all give them a little extra and somebody
- 11:13Speaker 3: makes you know they do an extra great service. When
- 11:15Speaker 3: we went to Barbara Jeans, I tipped really well and
- 11:19Speaker 3: then to the point that Capital One said, did you
- 11:21Speaker 3: want to leave that big of a tip?
- 11:22Speaker 4: Right?
- 11:23Speaker 3: I know I like getting that and go, yes, you
- 11:24Speaker 3: know what, that was wonderful. SERVI they were good.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Yeah. I get scammed on those things.
- 11:29Speaker 6: I mean, if someone's staring at me, I'll leave them
- 11:31Speaker 6: a tip, even if I'm like, you know, you didn't
- 11:33Speaker 6: do anything.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Really, I don't. I have no problem saying no tip,
- 11:36Speaker 4: yeah no, but I feel bad.
- 11:38Speaker 5: I feel guilty.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I feel exactly Yeah.
- 11:40Speaker 6: So I just click okay, And if I can't figure
- 11:42Speaker 6: out how to use the kiosk, and I end up
- 11:44Speaker 6: leaving the twenty five or whatever the lowest one is,
- 11:47Speaker 6: and I'm like ten bucks for two beers, I already
- 11:49Speaker 6: over eate at.
- 11:50Speaker 5: At a venue, right, Like what the heck?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 3: If I'm doing that and all they're doing is turning
- 11:55Speaker 3: around and giving it to you, yeah. Now if they're
- 11:57Speaker 3: raising money, if the tips that they give are raising
- 12:00Speaker 3: money for something like you go to a jumbo shrimp game,
- 12:03Speaker 3: sometimes I'll out once again, it's all a matter of when.
- 12:06Speaker 3: But if this is just a place where all you
- 12:09Speaker 3: did was reach over and grab that popcorn.
- 12:11Speaker 4: No tip. Yeah, but it's on there. Get you and
- 12:14Speaker 4: f on SAT on Friday night. They got that. But
- 12:16Speaker 4: it's on there, it is, it's on there. You you
- 12:18Speaker 4: have to take an extra step to say no, and
- 12:21Speaker 4: I feel bad. So I'd like to know where do
- 12:23Speaker 4: you draw the line? Do you listen to us? Where
- 12:25Speaker 4: do you draw the line call us nine oh four
- 12:27Speaker 4: three eight eight thirty six at ninety nine? Where do
- 12:30Speaker 4: you draw the line on tipping? I'm a john sit down,
- 12:33Speaker 4: full service restaurant, one hundred percent even on takeout. I
- 12:37Speaker 4: will tip ten percent on a takeout if I go
- 12:40Speaker 4: because I know that that person they're working on tips
- 12:42Speaker 4: for the night. They're probably not getting the rest of
- 12:44Speaker 4: the stuff and they are going and getting your food
- 12:46Speaker 4: putting it in a bag, but the silver in they're
- 12:49Speaker 4: doing a service as well, right.
- 12:50Speaker 3: And it's a bonus sometimes for them because they're having
- 12:52Speaker 3: to wait tables and then they have to oh, go
- 12:54Speaker 3: run take the takeout.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Right, So I get that. But when it's somebody and
- 12:58Speaker 4: all they do is turn around and hand you something,
- 13:00Speaker 4: I just it. It just I don't know that you're
- 13:02Speaker 4: saying that.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Like Megan says, it kind of gets on you when
- 13:05Speaker 3: you're kind of like, ah, yee, I got to tell
- 13:06Speaker 3: you no, sorry, you shoulder.
- 13:09Speaker 6: I know they're just looking at you, and I'm looking
- 13:10Speaker 6: at them like, man, Okay, if I was in your shoes,
- 13:13Speaker 6: I would want some extra money.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but you.
- 13:16Speaker 5: Don't want to. But you almost feel like your hand
- 13:18Speaker 5: is forced.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Hey Darth Vader death Sayer while they're waiting to see
- 13:21Speaker 4: what you're gonna push. Yeah, I'll just tip.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Fid with Country ninety nine one wq I KA The
- 13:30Speaker 3: Big Show with Froggy CHOHn and Megan. This guy might
- 13:34Speaker 3: set the standard for floridiots here really open house. You
- 13:39Speaker 3: go to open house and you know you're walking through
- 13:40Speaker 3: the house and the realtor kind of gets ahead of you.
- 13:43Speaker 3: You maybe stay back in the one room and kind
- 13:45Speaker 3: of check out the den. This dins maybe picturing your
- 13:48Speaker 3: furniture in there. Just you know how it would be
- 13:50Speaker 3: if you live thereading.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Those cookies they put out some times.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Or go into the liquor bottles right there and then
- 13:57Speaker 3: opening one up and just start from it, which is
- 14:01Speaker 3: what this guy did, because they have it all on video.
- 14:04Speaker 6: If it's an open house, doesn't that mean serve yourself.
- 14:07Speaker 4: It's the big show. It's Frankie, John and Megan. Great
- 14:09Speaker 4: to be with you, Jonadris. Go ahead and sign right
- 14:11Speaker 4: down there. There'll be a fifteen percent say what on that?
- 14:14Speaker 6: Yeah, in another fifteen for me as well.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Yeah, well I'm signing. Okay. That's what it feels like
- 14:23Speaker 4: when you go someplaces.
- 14:24Speaker 3: It's true it comes to tipping. We're hearing from you
- 14:27Speaker 3: at nine oh four to three eight eight thirty six
- 14:29Speaker 3: ninety nine. All of us are in agreement. You sit down,
- 14:32Speaker 3: you you want to tip, you want to do well.
- 14:33Speaker 3: If you get good service, you tip extra.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Well. Yeah, but I'm one of those people. For takeout,
- 14:39Speaker 4: I will tip a little bit just just because I
- 14:41Speaker 4: know they're working. But if you just turned around and
- 14:43Speaker 4: hand me a box of popcorn, I don't think that.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Like at the movie theater, right the movie theater, I
- 14:47Speaker 4: don't think that. I don't think it's necessary for a
- 14:49Speaker 4: tip to be involved there.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And we're here for you at nine oh four three
- 14:51Speaker 3: eight eight thirty six ninety nine. Yes, Stephanie, I used
- 14:54Speaker 3: to serve.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Part time, and I'm all good about serving. If I
- 14:58Speaker 1: sat down, somebody took my order, brought me my food,
- 15:02Speaker 1: asked if I needed something else, but for takeout or
- 15:06Speaker 1: like you said, they just turn around and get a
- 15:08Speaker 1: bag of.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Popcorn and hit it. Now, now, what about takeout? So
- 15:11Speaker 4: you do do half of a tip for takeout? Because
- 15:12Speaker 4: aren't they working for tips as well? And they are
- 15:15Speaker 4: bagging it up and getting it to you and putting
- 15:17Speaker 4: it together and checking it making sure it's right.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I know, I feel like that's the same thing as
- 15:22Speaker 1: McDonald's for taco bell.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Okay, good playing.
- 15:25Speaker 4: And she's a server on comer server Okay, all right, Daphnie, Well,
- 15:29Speaker 4: thank you for calling, Thank you for listening to us.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yes, sir, have good day, you too, Thank you, And
- 15:33Speaker 3: let's get Joe in before we dive into three things.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Joe, thank you for calling. What you got?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I feel kind of like y'all do. But you know,
- 15:41Speaker 2: I work with a lot of young kIPS today and
- 15:44Speaker 2: I manage a lot of young kids, and I have
- 15:47Speaker 2: realized something about state society, and I think it's it's
- 15:50Speaker 2: just I think a lot about the tipping as well,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and it's entitled it that's the only one. And I
- 15:56Speaker 2: hate to feel that way, but I feel like if
- 15:59Speaker 2: you do a service, I have no problem to be here,
- 16:03Speaker 2: But when it's already on there, I also have no
- 16:06Speaker 2: problem saying no.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I feel bad. I feel like they're staring at you,
- 16:10Speaker 4: just waiting for you to push no and how bad
- 16:12Speaker 4: it's gonna happen.
- 16:13Speaker 5: And they're looking at you like like, how am I
- 16:16Speaker 5: going to go to college? How am I going to
- 16:18Speaker 5: get a car?
- 16:18Speaker 4: Okay?
- 16:21Speaker 2: I raised three kids. I raised three daughters, and none
- 16:24Speaker 2: of them feel like they should get something for free.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And you know, I mean, I think that's a lot
- 16:31Speaker 2: of what's wrong with everything today is because people do
- 16:35Speaker 2: feel like that they should do it. So, you know,
- 16:38Speaker 2: come on, guys, you gotta tell them sometimes.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Joe, thank you so much for calling great points.
- 16:43Speaker 2: There not a problem, y'all. I have a great day,
- 16:45Speaker 2: can you, Joe?
- 16:45Speaker 4: You too, have a good Monday? Thank you? How about that?
- 16:48Speaker 4: I'm going to go and need you to tip us
- 16:49Speaker 4: fifteen percent just for listening this morning. Yeah, I provided
- 16:53Speaker 4: a service.
- 16:55Speaker 5: Fifteen is kind of low.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I think Megan the's a little extrac or she's getting
- 16:57Speaker 4: ready to do Megan's three Things. That's going to be
- 16:59Speaker 4: a tip.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Yeah, it's going to be an additional twenty five percent
- 17:02Speaker 6: gratuity per person.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Per person. So that's what it feels like when you
- 17:07Speaker 4: go someplace that's not true. Just feel that.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Well, here we go, giving you free radio free the
- 17:12Speaker 3: wait the good Lord mine to be exactly absolutely free,
- 17:15Speaker 3: no tipping needed, not at.
- 17:16Speaker 4: All worth it. This is exactly worth what you paid
- 17:19Speaker 4: for it. You can't pay for That's our motto for
- 17:23Speaker 4: things and the Jacksonville Monday, how's it going well?
- 17:26Speaker 5: This week is spring break and duvall for a lot
- 17:28Speaker 5: of people. So if you're.
- 17:29Speaker 6: Taking some time and you want to take your dog
- 17:31Speaker 6: out to Jack's Beach, you need to know some things
- 17:34Speaker 6: before you go. I did not know this, But through
- 17:37Speaker 6: March you cann't take your dog on the beach anytime
- 17:40Speaker 6: you like. But starting in April it's before nine am
- 17:43Speaker 6: and after five.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Pm only you must be on a leash. They must
- 17:47Speaker 5: be on a leash.
- 17:48Speaker 6: But get this, your leash cannot exceed eight feet long.
- 17:51Speaker 6: You can't have your dog on any of the sand dunes,
- 17:53Speaker 6: and if your dog has an accident, you have to
- 17:56Speaker 6: pick it up. You start burying that and saying, oh,
- 17:58Speaker 6: the tide's going to take it away, gonna come at you.
- 18:00Speaker 4: With the ticket as they should need any duty in
- 18:03Speaker 4: the water.
- 18:04Speaker 6: Jet Blue is jumping on board with the round trip
- 18:07Speaker 6: NonStop flights to Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale.
- 18:10Speaker 5: This kicks off in June. I'm glad now we have options.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Yeah. Options, Competition makes things better.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm excited.
- 18:18Speaker 6: If you're a Devil Wars Prada fan, the second movie
- 18:20Speaker 6: is hitting theaters in May. Regal Theaters is offering special
- 18:24Speaker 6: popcorn containers. It's a red handbag and it's got a
- 18:27Speaker 6: Devil Wars Proda Too themed keychain on it.
- 18:30Speaker 5: You can fill up.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Your popcorn any purse and not even get in trouble
- 18:33Speaker 6: for sneaking snacks in your bag.
- 18:35Speaker 4: There you go.
- 18:35Speaker 5: That's three things you need to.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Know, all right, got pop quiz tickets to SeaWorld Orlando. Megan,
- 18:40Speaker 4: you were just there yesterday the seven c Seafood Festival.
- 18:43Speaker 5: It was awesome, all right. I tried sock for the
- 18:46Speaker 5: first time in one of these drinks.
- 18:47Speaker 4: I did not.
- 18:47Speaker 5: I thought it was a mocktail like it. Not really
- 18:51Speaker 5: that one.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Nothing mocky about a little too strong.
- 18:54Speaker 6: Yeah, but they had a cheesecake that was delicious.
- 18:57Speaker 4: All right, so you can try it all right now
- 18:59Speaker 4: in Sea World peep part of our pop quiz College
- 19:01Speaker 4: nine collars ten and nine oh four three eight eight
- 19:04Speaker 4: thirty six ninety nine. You're going to play the pop quiz.
- 19:06Speaker 4: While you do that, we'll check your jack's traffick.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Quins just a couple of minutes away. Welcome in the
- 19:10Speaker 3: big show with Froggy, John and Megan. Coming off a busy,
- 19:14Speaker 3: busy weekend for some of us in this room.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Magnan had a busy weekend. So Friday, right after
- 19:19Speaker 4: the show, you made the trek to the players Championship.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Not easy to get there, No, but this was your
- 19:25Speaker 4: first time, Yes, so give us your rundown of the
- 19:30Speaker 4: players for your very first time as a player's version.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Would you think?
- 19:33Speaker 5: I thought it was awesome.
- 19:35Speaker 6: The shuttle gave us a hard time because we went
- 19:37Speaker 6: to the elementary school.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Right, we're looking up shuttles the best thing for you,
- 19:42Speaker 4: And yeah, they weren't running.
- 19:45Speaker 5: No, there was a I mean at least fifty people.
- 19:47Speaker 6: We were all kind of stranded out there because they
- 19:49Speaker 6: decided to shut off the shuttle service to not tell anyone,
- 19:53Speaker 6: So that was interesting.
- 19:54Speaker 5: But we got there and it was really cool.
- 19:57Speaker 6: We were watching out for my boyfriend Brooks Koepka and
- 20:01Speaker 6: having a great time. We saw the island you guys
- 20:03Speaker 6: were showing you that tree in it, and.
- 20:06Speaker 5: We saw just people having a great time.
- 20:09Speaker 4: There's a tree in that island. There's a tree on
- 20:11Speaker 4: the little island that's out in the middle of the water. Oh,
- 20:14Speaker 4: there's a tree there. And then there's the island, the
- 20:17Speaker 4: island green. I'm like that. I don't remember it being
- 20:19Speaker 4: a tree there. I knew Megan was going to see
- 20:22Speaker 4: things we didn't see, but tree in that hole.
- 20:25Speaker 6: That's how I was orientating myself with where where to
- 20:27Speaker 6: watch and where to look. But it was cool because
- 20:29Speaker 6: we sat behind the tea box on seventeen so we
- 20:33Speaker 6: could see him, and then we could also see I
- 20:35Speaker 6: think was the eighteenth hole that's on the right side.
- 20:39Speaker 4: No, that's sixteen coming up right. Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Oh, okay, so we saw Bill.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I played seventeen. Very cool. Did you go and have
- 20:46Speaker 3: tacos at twelve? Did you y'all do any eating outside
- 20:49Speaker 3: of the tent.
- 20:50Speaker 5: I'm going to be honest.
- 20:50Speaker 6: When we got into that tent, it took us a
- 20:52Speaker 6: while to find it. They had the snacks out, they
- 20:56Speaker 6: had an open bar.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Oh say no more? Yeah?
- 21:01Speaker 6: I had what was I drinking? Tito's cranberry? I was
- 21:04Speaker 6: being a basic girl, which usually he's in my jam,
- 21:06Speaker 6: but I was so in it and it was just
- 21:09Speaker 6: it was fun. Everyone was just happy and having a
- 21:12Speaker 6: good time. And I saw my boyfriend's colleagues. I guess
- 21:16Speaker 6: whoever they were.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Oh, your real boy real boyfriend, the one you came with.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Yeah, my real boyfriend, Brooks kept no. No, he's married
- 21:23Speaker 6: for now, so.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Fast.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Now that's good.
- 21:28Speaker 4: That's a good finish.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a winner to me.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Of course.
- 21:31Speaker 5: I think he went the whole thing.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Girl math exactly. So you enjoyed it. It was fun.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Yeah, it was really cool. I'm really glad that I
- 21:39Speaker 6: got to experience that.
- 21:40Speaker 4: And it feels like all of Jacksonville's there. When you're there,
- 21:42Speaker 4: you're like, how is anybody else doing anything else anywhere?
- 21:46Speaker 4: Because everybody's here.
- 21:47Speaker 5: It was crazy, you know.
- 21:49Speaker 3: It was amazing how many people could go around the
- 21:51Speaker 3: golf course like that, and it's still pretty.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Orderly, right yeah?
- 21:54Speaker 6: And how big it is too there because it didn't
- 21:57Speaker 6: feel crowded.
- 21:58Speaker 5: I was like it looking out all the people.
- 22:00Speaker 6: It looks more crowded than Disney, but I don't feel
- 22:03Speaker 6: like I'm right up on people.
- 22:05Speaker 4: It was cool.
- 22:06Speaker 3: It is fun, very good. Another good players week. It
- 22:09Speaker 3: sure was a lot of fun. I hope you had
- 22:10Speaker 3: a chance to enjoy it. Not tomorrow, as Zach Brown's
- 22:13Speaker 3: about to sing, we got colder weather coming in, Yes,
- 22:17Speaker 3: teacher Leonardo DiCaprio. How old is actor Leonardo DiCaprio?
- 22:22Speaker 4: Eric fifty two? Terry older or younger? I think you're
- 22:26Speaker 4: a little younger.
- 22:28Speaker 3: You nailed it, Eric, that was a great guest. But
- 22:30Speaker 3: Terry went in the right direction. Fifty one for Leonardo
- 22:32Speaker 3: DiCaprio to Terry. Yeah, good job Terry gets that point.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Good job Terry. All right, here we go. We were
- 22:39Speaker 3: just talking about this in a way. What percentage of
- 22:43Speaker 3: people say automatic service charges should be banned?
- 22:48Speaker 7: I would say fifty five.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Eric's at number higher or lower? Higher? You're right eighty
- 22:56Speaker 4: three percent?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yes, I agree, we'll say automatic service I just should
- 23:00Speaker 3: be banned. So Eric, at that point come on, you
- 23:03Speaker 3: got us a tie here, Yeah, got us a tie.
- 23:06Speaker 3: If you know the answer to this question, shout your name.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I will give a multiple choice. Which of these two
- 23:11Speaker 3: years did the Players Championship come to be played in
- 23:15Speaker 3: the Jacksonville area? Was it nineteen seventy seven or two
- 23:19Speaker 3: thousand and seven?
- 23:21Speaker 4: Who said that?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Carl Terry?
- 23:24Speaker 4: I didn't know Carl was playing Terry.
- 23:29Speaker 3: What's the answer? Two thousand and seven? That is incorrect. Yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 3: seventy seven.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Seventy seven was the year. It's been here for a
- 23:38Speaker 4: long time now. Eric is going back into the championship.
- 23:41Speaker 4: But it's a championship waiting. Go Terry. Thanks for playing, alrighty, Eric,
- 23:48Speaker 4: There you go, Bro, there you go. Carl whatever, we
- 23:53Speaker 4: could see some wins fifty to seventy miles per hour
- 23:55Speaker 4: this afternoon. Is his front rolls through? Is that us
- 23:58Speaker 4: for hours?
- 23:59Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 23:59Speaker 4: Pringle was saying that on our First Coast News this morning.
- 24:01Speaker 4: It's possible. You know, as these as these fronts roll through,
- 24:05Speaker 4: there are squalls in them. Where that happens, it's not
- 24:08Speaker 4: going to be widespread, and it's not going to be consistent.
- 24:10Speaker 4: It's not going to be a sustained win. But those
- 24:12Speaker 4: things get bussed up.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Next thing, you know, all your patio furnitures in the
- 24:15Speaker 3: backyard and the pool and stuff.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Oh you know Patty, Yes, Patty's going to be your
- 24:19Speaker 4: own tomorrow, our Irish friend patio furniture. She hangs out
- 24:23Speaker 4: on the porch.
- 24:29Speaker 8: Okay with us tomorrow maybe, so it'll be the three
- 24:34Speaker 8: of us in Patty.
- 24:35Speaker 4: So Meghan, Meghan gets I mean, like a sheer joy
- 24:42Speaker 4: rise out of making fun of me and the things
- 24:44Speaker 4: that I do.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Yeah, well, because you do these strange things like we
- 24:49Speaker 6: you were showing me someone who had called you last week,
- 24:53Speaker 6: and all I saw was phone call after phone call
- 24:57Speaker 6: after phone cofter phone call. So we look, how many
- 25:00Speaker 6: this was last Thursday? How many times you were on
- 25:03Speaker 6: the phone on Thursday?
- 25:04Speaker 4: What was the number? And what was the number?
- 25:05Speaker 6: Fifty three times? He was on the phone all day.
- 25:08Speaker 6: This man was on the phone. You know, he has
- 25:11Speaker 6: a pretty concentrated job here in the morning. Yeah, but
- 25:14Speaker 6: so how can he work in all those phone calls
- 25:16Speaker 6: while he's actually on the air, which is crazy. So
- 25:18Speaker 6: it really is kind of a from ten to abbreviated version. Yeah,
- 25:22Speaker 6: from like ten until he drops out with the phone
- 25:24Speaker 6: in his names.
- 25:25Speaker 4: But I'm telling you it's there are certain offenders like
- 25:29Speaker 4: it because I made you write it down. How many
- 25:30Speaker 4: times did my wife call me that day?
- 25:32Speaker 5: Sixteen?
- 25:33Speaker 4: Okay, a bunch. And how many times did my son
- 25:35Speaker 4: call me?
- 25:35Speaker 5: Nine?
- 25:36Speaker 4: And that didn't include facetimes?
- 25:37Speaker 5: Oh gosh, no, this was the calculated FaceTime.
- 25:40Speaker 4: No, that was with facetimes too.
- 25:41Speaker 5: And then your mom called you three times that you
- 25:44Speaker 5: talked to her on the phone.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah, my mom called me because she wanted my son's
- 25:46Speaker 4: address at college. That was where three phone calls, by
- 25:48Speaker 4: the way, three I thought. I called my mom being
- 25:52Speaker 4: something was wrong?
- 25:52Speaker 7: Right?
- 25:53Speaker 4: Can you give me Caden's address at his college at school?
- 25:58Speaker 4: I'm like, Mom, you call me three times? Said it's
- 26:01Speaker 4: his birthday on this is on Thursday. It's his birthday
- 26:04Speaker 4: on Saturday. I want to send him a car to school.
- 26:07Speaker 4: I said, Mom, you know he's not going to get
- 26:09Speaker 4: it on Saturday now. But she paid extra to get
- 26:11Speaker 4: it there on Saturday because she does.
- 26:13Speaker 5: That's what she is is a lot of family phone calls.
- 26:16Speaker 5: But that doesn't no.
- 26:19Speaker 4: One day, that's twenty five. That's half of them, twenty
- 26:22Speaker 4: five just my wife and my son and then my
- 26:24Speaker 4: mom twenty eight. That's over half.
- 26:27Speaker 5: We telli it up. You're weekly.
- 26:29Speaker 6: So at that point John and I are like, Okay,
- 26:32Speaker 6: we need to see what Friday's going to be, to
- 26:33Speaker 6: see how many phone calls that you actually were on
- 26:36Speaker 6: the phone. Yeah, one hundred and fifty two times, Froggy.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and this didn't include miss calls. By the way,
- 26:42Speaker 4: if it was read, I didn't count it.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Miss calls don't count one hundred and fifty two.
- 26:45Speaker 3: You were on the phone with somebody one hundred and
- 26:47Speaker 3: fifty two times. You know what I can look at mine?
- 26:50Speaker 6: How do you have?
- 26:51Speaker 4: I'll tell you my answer is about five. I'm old school,
- 26:54Speaker 4: though I would rather Okay, here's the deal. I would
- 26:56Speaker 4: rather have a phone conversation with you than text back
- 26:59Speaker 4: and forth for fifteen I'm with you. I'm the same
- 27:01Speaker 4: way about that. I don't need to go back and
- 27:02Speaker 4: forth on text forever. That gets on my nerves because
- 27:05Speaker 4: I have people who text in thoughts. So like one
- 27:09Speaker 4: thing that can be one text is four different texts.
- 27:12Speaker 3: I don't.
- 27:12Speaker 4: It's like new paragraphs come a new new text. Like
- 27:15Speaker 4: I'm going to the store, what do you need? Could
- 27:18Speaker 4: be one text? It's not. Sometimes it's two or three.
- 27:21Speaker 6: That's true, But isn't it still better like for time
- 27:24Speaker 6: efficiency to have those texts than getting no.
- 27:27Speaker 4: I'd rather be on the phone one hundred and fifty two.
- 27:30Speaker 4: I mean, am I alone in this nine oh four, three, eight,
- 27:32Speaker 4: eight thirty six ninety nine? Call us? Would you rather
- 27:35Speaker 4: text back and forth with somebody or just have a
- 27:37Speaker 4: phone conversation and get it done?
- 27:38Speaker 3: When texting first started, I told my daughter that because
- 27:40Speaker 3: she was a texting fool, and I told her I said, okay,
- 27:43Speaker 3: three texts and I'm calling. I had a three text maximum.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Or if you get something to explain, I don't't explain
- 27:50Speaker 4: it over text. No's too long. I'm a phone call person.
- 27:53Speaker 5: You don't even actually text either.
- 27:55Speaker 6: You put your phone up to your mouth to text
- 27:57Speaker 6: people back, and you'll talk to them. You'll say like, okay,
- 28:00Speaker 6: that sounds good.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Thanks. Period.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Well, where do you want me to put it in
- 28:03Speaker 4: my pocket to talk to it? It's got to hear me.
