- 1:58Speaker 2: We'll see you on the other side.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Is what's going on? You are now locked in the
- 2:01Speaker 3: cliff notes. The number one place for investment strategies, tips
- 2:04Speaker 3: and advice tech is.
- 2:06Speaker 5: This is the question that everybody has been asking because
- 2:09Speaker 5: a lot of people are heavily invested in tech, and
- 2:11Speaker 5: it was down heavy, had a strong well, had a
- 2:16Speaker 5: decent rebound today, but it's still close to all time highs.
- 2:20Speaker 5: So what are your what are you guys opinion on
- 2:24Speaker 5: the future of the next couple of months for tech stocks.
- 2:29Speaker 6: I think it was a mistake for Jerry Ronstorff and
- 2:32Speaker 6: the Chicago Bulls organization to break up Michael Jordan and
- 2:36Speaker 6: Rodman and Pippin And for those of you who get
- 2:38Speaker 6: off the tech train early, you're doing the same damn thing.
- 2:42Speaker 6: You go look at every Okay, you go look at
- 2:46Speaker 6: every top five fund managers.
- 2:49Speaker 4: They are all heavy tech.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Just because you don't like it or you're trying to
- 2:54Speaker 6: be controlled, you don't have to be contrarian. A lot
- 2:56Speaker 6: of the money is made by following what the whales do,
- 2:59Speaker 6: so we're the small fish. Let's follow what they're doing.
- 3:01Speaker 6: This has always been my thesis because we live in
- 3:04Speaker 6: a tech economy. I know it was a conversation of
- 3:09Speaker 6: value versus tech and all that.
- 3:11Speaker 4: That's just for headlines.
- 3:13Speaker 6: The indexes are the value, the tech is a tech
- 3:15Speaker 6: pick two quality wants to shoot like buy them. Everyone
- 3:18Speaker 6: close your account, don't look at anything else, Like what
- 3:21Speaker 6: do you think we're not we're gonna stop using as
- 3:23Speaker 6: much technology. Most people aren't taking a shower without the
- 3:27Speaker 6: phone in their hands. Do you think all of a
- 3:29Speaker 6: sudden people gonna go away and just like going back
- 3:31Speaker 6: to like writing love notes and classic and like.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Don't don't sell yeh tactic.
- 3:39Speaker 3: It comes into the point where you just said about
- 3:40Speaker 3: the classifications of some of these ETFs, right, and so
- 3:44Speaker 3: xl K.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Obviously we know is the tech Tector.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Fund for Spider, But if you look at the other
- 3:49Speaker 3: companies that are in some of these other ETFs inside
- 3:52Speaker 3: the Spider fund, right? Facebook? Could that not be technology? Amazon?
- 3:55Speaker 3: Is that even that technology? Tesla?
- 3:58Speaker 6: Is that not technology if you're not mining crypto out
- 4:01Speaker 6: of a tree?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Right? Right? And even that right like Visa massacre? Are they?
- 4:07Speaker 2: These all have tech roots?
- 4:09Speaker 4: Right?
- 4:10Speaker 3: So if you look at all these funds, majority of
- 4:13Speaker 3: them pretty much are tech if you think about it, right,
- 4:16Speaker 3: So they all have roots in it. Even now I
- 4:18Speaker 3: could argue that Disney is a tech right. We argue
- 4:20Speaker 3: that Domino's is a tech is a tech company that
- 4:23Speaker 3: is disguised as a fast food restaurant, right, So it's
- 4:26Speaker 3: everywhere around you to say that, hey we're getting off
- 4:29Speaker 3: this boat.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I don't know how you get off. How do you
- 4:31Speaker 2: get off?
- 4:32Speaker 6: You know who isn't EXI mobile getting slaughtered, not your
- 4:35Speaker 6: gass slaughtered. So got to pick even like GEGM, they're
- 4:43Speaker 6: making a transition. But if you just go look over time,
- 4:45Speaker 6: like even ge Sergeant Slaughter Margins. Got to make the
- 4:51Speaker 6: adjustments over time, Like if this is nineteen eighty, I
- 4:53Speaker 6: would be the biggest oil and gas fan.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Ever's not eighty anymore.
- 4:58Speaker 6: So as we adjust, and then if and gets us
- 5:00Speaker 6: to the moon, I'm gonna be platonium rocks. Anything that
- 5:04Speaker 6: can get us a space great, I'm gonna be for that.
- 5:06Speaker 6: And whatever aliens are running that civilization, i'mnna be pro.
- 5:09Speaker 6: I'm gonna be like mars etf Man. Until then I'm
- 5:12Speaker 6: going to play whatever the predominant sector.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Is exactly Like Google is a perfect example. Right, Google,
- 5:17Speaker 3: that's an XLC But why is that not an XL Xlkay?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:22Speaker 3: Think you think Google, Google, you think YouTube? This is
- 5:24Speaker 3: these are tech. This is all based in tech, but
- 5:27Speaker 3: you know it is what it is. So like I said,
- 5:28Speaker 3: I don't know how you get out of.
- 5:29Speaker 2: The space.
- 5:32Speaker 6: If you get out of tech right now would be
- 5:33Speaker 6: the biggest mistake that you guys have it. But you, guys,
- 5:35Speaker 6: this is the fun part about a vestling. You can
- 5:37Speaker 6: do whatever you want to do, do whatever cars are
- 5:39Speaker 6: run on.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Tech increasingly increasingly increased.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Technology is the lifeblood of our society and it will
- 5:47Speaker 6: be for like the next fifty years.
- 5:50Speaker 4: You can run it Apple.
- 5:52Speaker 5: The rumors of Apple's demise is greatly.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Please stop some.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Of your shares please, I'll take them if you think
- 5:58Speaker 4: that they're gonna go under.
- 5:59Speaker 6: With Tim Cook arguably is the Steve Jobs of operations.
- 6:05Speaker 6: I could argue, man if Elon had a Tim Cook,
- 6:09Speaker 6: they would probably be at three thousand now. And you
- 6:14Speaker 6: guys are gonna say he doesn't need it.
- 6:16Speaker 4: He does. Do you need a counterbalance?
- 6:18Speaker 6: So as great as Steve was, that the creativity the
- 6:22Speaker 6: operations manager helps a hell of a lot. I think
- 6:23Speaker 6: they wrote roll out too many products. But if Elon
- 6:26Speaker 6: had another hymn in operations or R and D, my god,
- 6:31Speaker 6: it like.
- 6:34Speaker 3: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 6:37Speaker 3: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 6:40Speaker 3: and sure they definitely can be, But understanding a professionals
- 6:44Speaker 3: routine shows us how they achieve their success, little by little,

- 9:25Speaker 3: Shout out to Leon and the chat. Shout to Leon
- 9:27Speaker 3: hei Arni. He said, what about uranium stocks. We actually
- 9:29Speaker 3: spoke about that when we were talking to Francis maybe
- 9:32Speaker 3: maybe two or three weeks ago.
- 9:33Speaker 2: He was speaking about uranium stocks. But you know, I
- 9:35Speaker 2: want to talk about Square really quick because I know
- 9:37Speaker 2: we're gonna go to.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Questions and I don't know, I haven't heard anybody talk
- 9:40Speaker 3: about this really, but it actually has its own in
- 9:43Speaker 3: house bank. It launched at the beginning of the month.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Like I haven't heard anybody talk about it. But that's
- 9:48Speaker 3: a huge deal.
- 9:49Speaker 4: And where is the new JP Morgan?
- 9:53Speaker 3: So Square financial Services the number one goal right now
- 9:56Speaker 3: is to offer business loans, and so I want to
- 9:58Speaker 3: see what the detail that is. We talking small business,
- 10:01Speaker 3: are we're talking large caps. That's gonna be interesting to see.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I want to see the details that come from this.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Obviously we know Square. This Ian's one of his favorite choices.
- 10:08Speaker 3: But yeah, man, like that kind of went under the rug.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Nobody talked about it. I'm like, do we not just
- 10:13Speaker 3: see this?
- 10:14Speaker 6: I mean maybe Hove was like, hey, let's keep this
- 10:16Speaker 6: on a hush hush and he gonna usher in one
- 10:19Speaker 6: of them fifty to fifty joint venture deals like he
- 10:21Speaker 6: did back in it. Like if they have all the
- 10:22Speaker 6: customer data and they know what customers want and they
- 10:27Speaker 6: can provide the financing because interest is low, what advantages
- 10:32Speaker 6: of America have over them? Bank of America doesn't have
- 10:35Speaker 6: as many data points as fast and with the acquisition
- 10:37Speaker 6: of title, you can go into interest. So now I
- 10:39Speaker 6: can get a forty two year old woman in the
- 10:41Speaker 6: middle of Missouri, Saint Louis, Missouri that is just not
- 10:44Speaker 6: opening up a beauty salon. You know all of our
- 10:46Speaker 6: interests and what her playlist, and I can put an
- 10:48Speaker 6: ad next to her when she's playing magnae stallion ol
- 10:51Speaker 6: right right then she throwing a sweetie shot a quavin.
- 10:56Speaker 6: I'm glad you got the truck back. Then you compare
- 11:00Speaker 6: you got exactly what a business owner needs for a
- 11:02Speaker 6: hair salon and target them at the right time and
- 11:04Speaker 6: say'all can give you two point three percent interest. And
- 11:07Speaker 6: when you do your payment processing. Do it through us
- 11:09Speaker 6: because we're for the culture. Here's hole what bank can
- 11:12Speaker 6: do that right now?
- 11:14Speaker 4: Not one.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Data data is the like they can literally you gots
- 11:21Speaker 6: seen the movie back in the day, like what women Want?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Like Square can literally read every business on his mind
- 11:25Speaker 4: and tell you what you need.
- 11:28Speaker 6: That's a huge asadvantage opposed to going through the traditional
- 11:30Speaker 6: lending process like that game changer.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was like, this is kind of I
- 11:37Speaker 3: didn't see anybody really reported. I kind of read stumbled apart.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I'm like, wait, huh, nobody's talking about this song. I'm
- 11:43Speaker 3: just putting that on your radar. Keep an eye on
- 11:45Speaker 3: that when more details can come out. Obviously, we're going
- 11:48Speaker 3: to give you everything that we know, so definitely keeping
- 11:51Speaker 3: ian real quick. I'm gonna do the earnings report because
- 11:53Speaker 3: it's kind of a slow week for anything that we've
- 11:55Speaker 3: talked about. However, tomorrow something very interesting will be happening.
- 11:59Speaker 3: This be called gamest album reporting.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Hey look, can.
- 12:03Speaker 5: We just talk about that real quick? Actually, just the
- 12:05Speaker 5: elephant in the room. Everybody on YouTube, everybody's always looking
- 12:08Speaker 5: for something. Not everybody, some people are looking for something.
- 12:11Speaker 5: So in some comments I've seen previously like, well, you
- 12:14Speaker 5: guys have to admit when you're wrong.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You got that wrong.
- 12:17Speaker 6: I was wrong and paid out, but I'm still ninety
- 12:20Speaker 6: five percent, which.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I believe.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Sometimes you have.
- 12:27Speaker 6: There's nothing wrong with being wrong, that's true, and I'm
- 12:30Speaker 6: the only person if I'm.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Wrong, I pay out.
- 12:33Speaker 6: So if that's the one archer that I didn't it
- 12:35Speaker 6: didn't drop to seventy two, but it did drop from
- 12:37Speaker 6: fort eighty three to one ninety four.
- 12:38Speaker 5: As if I was about to say that did happen.
- 12:40Speaker 6: There was like nine people in red Pan that made
- 12:43Speaker 6: half a million dollars off the shorts.
- 12:45Speaker 4: I was wrong.
- 12:45Speaker 6: It didn't go to twenty four bucks, but when it
- 12:48Speaker 6: does later, I'll still be wrong, but it will go
- 12:50Speaker 6: to that price.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I'm interested to see what happens because it's gonna happen
- 12:53Speaker 3: after closing tomorrow, and so I will.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I mean, if they don't have do you think they
- 12:59Speaker 2: meet revenue? Do they do? They do they meet to beat?
- 13:01Speaker 3: Because I mean this is going off of the fourth
- 13:03Speaker 3: quarter where they you had two brand new systems come
- 13:06Speaker 3: to the market, but they had limited quantity of it, right,
- 13:10Speaker 3: and then if you think about the digital space when
- 13:12Speaker 3: it comes to gaming, that really doesn't help them, right
- 13:15Speaker 3: because people can just put the content right on the device,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and so now I don't need your store. So I'm
- 13:19Speaker 3: interested to see what happens to the stock tomorrow after full.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I think it's whatever. Whatever.
- 13:24Speaker 5: People sometimes you have anomalies that don't fit what are
- 13:28Speaker 5: supposed to happen in life, and that's part of that's
- 13:30Speaker 5: part of it.
- 13:30Speaker 6: That's a part of your trading plan to part of it.
- 13:32Speaker 5: And this GameStop situation is shown that people are very
- 13:35Speaker 5: powerful pep power to the people.
- 13:38Speaker 4: But it wasn't the people that well, and.
- 13:41Speaker 5: It still was a person people had fun. Whatever it was,
- 13:45Speaker 5: it was manipulated.
- 13:46Speaker 6: That's like Steve Stout saying I'm going against the system
- 13:49Speaker 6: and then put out an album through Island.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, but regardless, it's you know that the
- 13:54Speaker 5: prices was, it's not had nothing to do with fundamentals,
- 13:57Speaker 5: had nothing to do with technical analysis. It has everything
- 14:00Speaker 5: do what you know. It was moved.
- 14:03Speaker 6: That happens and for those who got in on it,
- 14:05Speaker 6: and even then being able to get out of that
- 14:08Speaker 6: and reissue and take you advantage of the corporate bond thing,
- 14:11Speaker 6: like you guys really need to go look at how
- 14:12Speaker 6: much money was made on that like it was a
- 14:16Speaker 6: It was a good move, but it'll be over relatively soon.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Well played.
- 14:21Speaker 3: To hear a more extended conversation, make sure to check
