- 2:47days it's been in the hundreds. Now it's shot down to 72.
- 2:52Love the weather. It it's got a little bit of
- 2:54wind, a little bit of rain, a little moisty.
- 2:57But yeah, thank God there's no more 100° weather, even though
- 3:01it's going to go up in the 80s, I think high 80s in the middle
- 3:06of the weekend, so not. Just moisty.
- 3:11My throat has to stay moisty right now because I'm about to
- 3:15lose it. I've been screaming all day, and
- 3:17I'm not going to tell you why, but I've been all over the place
- 3:21when it comes to my voice. So I'll be sucking on some of
- 3:24these all night. A little holes, baby.
- 3:27No, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not sucking on anything that you
- 3:30know might be disgusting of any gratitude.
- 3:33I'll be smoking. I mean sucking.
- 3:36And he don't get any ideas. Some halls candy.
- 3:39So yeah, it's been a crazy really a crazy 24 hours and I
- 3:45just want to say something everybody keeps asking me about
- 3:48my cruise. All my friends, my friend from
- 3:50California reached out to me today and he said, well, how was
- 3:54how was Bermuda and and I didn't even tell you some of the
- 3:57stories I I didn't tell you the toilet story.
- 3:59Did I tell you guys the toilet story?
- 4:01I, I had a lot of toilet stories.
- 4:04I will say this, the second or third night I was on my cruise,
- 4:09I really had to go to the bathroom.
- 4:11I don't know what I ate, but we went to a steakhouse and they
- 4:14had this like hot sauce that they put on the steak.
- 4:18It's like foreign European sauce that they had to put on the
- 4:22steak. So I said, hey, you know what?
- 4:23I've never had it. It tastes like a little
- 4:25horseradish. I like horseradish, so and it
- 4:28looked a little bit like steak sauce.
- 4:30So I put it, I mixed it in with my steak.
- 4:33I at the end of my meal, not only me, but Elena, the
- 4:38beautician, the hairdresser that we went on the trip with her
- 4:42husband was up in the bathroom. I just got, I really had this
- 4:46like drawing stomach aches that wouldn't go away.
- 4:49Brittany had to go to the bathroom, but it was it wasn't
- 4:52what I had to do. And I ran upstairs.
- 4:54Now, The funny thing is when I went upstairs, I don't like
- 4:58people being in my room. I don't like anybody next to me
- 5:01in these rooms on a cruise are so small.
- 5:05We were in a balcony room. It was the second, second most
- 5:10expensive room that you can get, unless you want a suite and you
- 5:13have a balcony. But these rooms are not that
- 5:15big. They're probably like 10 by 8.
- 5:19That's what they are in a cruise ship.
- 5:22And so I don't like when anybody's in, you know, in the
- 5:25room when I'm going to the bathroom.
- 5:26I was in the bathroom for about 35 minutes, probably 40 minutes.
- 5:31Has anybody? Yeah.
- 5:33Dude, I was sick. I was deathly sick.
- 5:36My stomach was growling. I I can't even tell you.
- 5:41And the crazy thing that happened after I tried to flush
- 5:44the toilet. OK, now just think about this,
- 5:48your toilet. And so these toilets, they go
- 5:51down. It's like shoots down.
- 5:52If you ever put on like a plane, which everybody has those
- 5:55toilets, like it just goes down and has no water in the toilet
- 5:59just shoots down. Well, ladies and gentlemen, my
- 6:01toilet wouldn't go down. I press the button like 3 or 4
- 6:05times and I'm talking about I had a log in there.
- 6:08All right, so I'm trying to push, I'm trying to, I keep
- 6:11pushing it and it wouldn't go down.
- 6:13So I'm getting done. I tell Brittany to call, call
- 6:17down to floor number six and tell them that the toilet's
- 6:20clogged. So I'm embarrassed.
- 6:23I go down and I walk downstairs because she wouldn't do it.
- 6:27And I went down and could you imagine waiting online and
- 6:30people, there's five people behind you and there's one
- 6:33person taking, you know, obviously speaking to people.
- 6:36And I go to the, the office and I, I say something to her.
- 6:40I say, listen, I'm sorry, my toilet is clogged.
- 6:43And she says, well, what room number are you?
- 6:45And I said 6184 so. And they're like, do you want to
- 6:49go up there and wait for the guys that I don't even want to
- 6:51be in the room when he does this?
- 6:53So she calls this guy, he goes up and I'm I'm waiting.
- 6:58So I told Brittany, let's stay out.
- 6:59Let's go do let's go to a show or something.
- 7:02We'll go back up there. Guys.
- 7:04It took him an hour and 45 minutes to to fix the toilet in
- 7:08my room. And he had he had two other guys
- 7:13helping him. And when he walked past me, he
- 7:16he just gave me a look like, what the hell did you do?
- 7:19You know, I'm telling you right now, I've never crapped so much
- 7:22in my life. It was disgusting.
- 7:24And could you imagine trying to clean something like that and
- 7:27trying to get it down this little like shoot it, it really,
- 7:32it's sickened me the whole time. I didn't even want to call down
- 7:35anymore to ask for anybody's help.
- 7:37And I kept telling Brittany, I'm not going to the bathroom in my
- 7:40room again because I'm afraid it's going to get clogged.
- 7:42So true story on that. So I don't think Norwegian
- 7:46really liked me. I and, and she kept complaining.
- 7:49We were trying to call from rooms room service a couple of
- 7:52times and it took them forever, took them 3 hours to bring us
- 7:55our food late at night. So I you know, I had to deal
- 7:58with her screaming at rooms service or service when they
- 8:01came up there at two and a half 2:30 or 2:45 at night in the
- 8:05morning. I'm sorry, in the morning.
- 8:07So not very good, but nevertheless, I got a lot of
- 8:10other stories, but just imagine going and actually to A to a
- 8:15cruise and trying to enjoy yourself.
- 8:16And you can't go into the any of the public bathrooms in there
- 8:19because they don't really clean it.
- 8:21They were kids, they were people, They were peeing all
- 8:24over the seats. It was disgusting.
- 8:25It was just absolutely disgusting.
- 8:27Talk about public bathrooms. I'd rather go to a city bathroom
- 8:31or, you know, at, you know, at a air.
- 8:33What do they call that train station bathrooms?
- 8:36And they're really smelly and really disgusting.
- 8:38I probably would have sat sat on a toilet there, then sit in one
- 8:41of the toilet on one of the toilets in the public bathrooms
- 8:45on the cruise. It was that.
- 8:46I just don't think how how. Clean can you?
- 8:48Keep the cruise though, just I mean there's so many people and
- 8:50it's, it's, I wouldn't say it closes like stuff stays open 24
- 8:55hours, doesn't it? Yeah, but, and they were, but
- 8:58here's the thing, at like probably at 1:00 in the morning,
- 9:01if you're not playing in the casinos, you're either in bed or
- 9:04you're playing hooky at one of the clubs.
- 9:08So that's what you're doing and I'll do.
- 9:10The clubs close. The clubs were open till about
- 9:13233 o'clock and it was really one club.
- 9:16And by the way, they're they were kids at like 1718 years old
- 9:21allowed to get into the clubs. So the older people are dancing,
- 9:24having a good time and drinking. And then you see these 1819 year
- 9:26olds doing these Crockett kicks like speedy and embarrass
- 9:30themselves and just like clog up the dance floor.
- 9:33So you couldn't really even enjoy yourselves on these cruise
- 9:37on this cruise because of some of the young kids that were
- 9:39allowed to go into the clubs because they obviously let them
- 9:42go into the clubs because they didn't want them in the casinos.
- 9:45So it it was there was some good parts of the cruise.
- 9:49I'm just giving you the bad ones.
- 9:50All right. And by the way, if you really
- 9:53have to go to a bathroom, you really have to go to your
- 9:57bathroom. Make sure you don't use too much
- 9:59toilet paper because it will clog up those toilets.
- 10:02True story. The 2025 NBA Draft first round
- 10:06was completed yesterday with the 1st 2 picks going exactly as
- 10:11expected. Cooper flag goes The Mavericks
- 10:14and Dylan Harper goes to the Spurs.
- 10:16VJ Edgecomb went to the 76ers as the number 3 and Con Canobo went
- 10:24to the Hornets at #4 despite rumors that he was going to
- 10:28fall. Ace barely was drafted at #5 by
- 10:31the Jazz, but ESP NS Jonathan Gibney reports that Utah was not
- 10:37one of the teams that he preferred and he was hoping to
- 10:42fall to the Wizards at #6 the next.
- 10:44The Nets used all five of their first round picks.
- 10:48Four of those picks were guards. You're wondering what they're
- 10:53trying to do. It was the first time in NBA
- 10:55draft history any team drafted that many players.
- 10:59There were 19 total draft day trades out of 30 picks in the
- 11:04first round. Most ever in NBA history, all
- 11:07players drafted in the top 12 played college basketball first
- 11:12time. There were no international or G
- 11:16League players in the top 12 since 2019.
- 11:20There were 11 freshman's taken in the first round, tying an NBA
- 11:25record and seven freshman's taken in the 1st 7 picks,
- 11:30setting another NBA record. Well, I, I will say this Cooper
- 11:36flag look great and I and you love to see his family and all
- 11:42of Maine supporting this kid. This kid is going to be a
- 11:45sensational, generational type of player.
- 11:47He is special. There's no question that he has
- 11:50and he's very confident because even before the draft and and
- 11:54when the draft started, he was really upset that Dallas waited
- 11:585 minutes to make their pick. He already knew he was going to
- 12:02sign with The Mavericks as a matter.
- 12:04Of he said, he said. What's taking so long?
- 12:07Yeah, he said what is taking so long?
- 12:09Because he knew he was going #1 everybody and their mother knew
- 12:12he was going #1 he was negotiating contracts with The
- 12:16Mavericks before they, even before he was even drafted.
- 12:19So he was kind of making jokes like what's taking so long?
- 12:23He gets drafted after by The Mavericks and then just his
- 12:26personality going up there when they interviewed him saying that
- 12:29he coach kid is going to give me an opportunity to be myself, be
- 12:33a leader on this team and and come out through the floodgates
- 12:36and and and play the game that I want to play as an NBA player.
- 12:39And you love to hear that with Cooper flag.
- 12:42I do believe the personality that he brings to the table and
- 12:45he's so multi talented and they asked him during the draft when
- 12:49he was interviewing with some of the guys at the at the front at
- 12:54the table, they asked him what what part of your game do you
- 12:57love the most? And he says all of it.
- 12:59I love I I love my game when it comes to rebounding.
- 13:02I love my game when it comes to passing and and being a leader
- 13:05on this team. And I even believe that my
- 13:07offense could get even better. And I do believe he absolutely
- 13:10believes this. And I'll tell you this also
- 13:12about Cooper flag that makes him so interesting.
- 13:15He didn't sit back and beat around the Bush.
- 13:18He didn't say what Harper said. Dylan Harper went up there and
- 13:21I'll get into Dylan Harper. He was kind of hesitant when he
- 13:26was interviewing, especially when he was picked by the Spurs.
- 13:29Nobody and nobody had any questions that these two guys
- 13:33were the best players in the draft.
- 13:35Now I I will say this ace barely falling to five.
- 13:38I was surprised. I think Ace Bally, to me, you
- 13:42can argue that Ace Bally Bally could be the best player in this
- 13:45class. Now we have to see how he
- 13:47develops his personalities, very strong personality.
- 13:51He's taking shots at some of the NBA players over the last couple
- 13:54of weeks as when I forget her name that was interviewing and
- 13:59asked him, what do you think about this person saying that
- 14:02and and and getting a chance to play against Giannis?
- 14:04He says, we'll see. When I get on the court, I
- 14:06expect to beat him to the hoop every single time.
- 14:08So you you see the confidence in Ace Bailey and that's what you
- 14:12like to hear. You like guys that are going to
- 14:14go up there and he's going to speak with confidence and go out
- 14:17there and play his game. Now, if he could do it in the
- 14:19NBA, I believe Ace Bailey could be as good of a player as
- 14:23Anthony Edwards. I think his game and and and
- 14:26everybody keeps saying that Edgecomb, VJ Edgecomb is an
- 14:30Anthony Edwards prototype. I don't think so.
- 14:33I think Ace Bailey isn't Anthony Edwards prototype, an athletic,
- 14:37gifted kid who is not much of A defensive player.
- 14:41He can play defense, but his game is prototypically
- 14:44offensive, offensively built. The guy can shoot, he can go to
- 14:49the hole. He's so athletic and he could do
- 14:52everything on the offensive side of the ball.
- 14:55But again, his personality isn't going to work over there in
- 14:58Utah. Thank God he didn't go to the
- 15:0076ers, OK, because could you imagine him in Philadelphia with
- 15:05his personality? Joel Embiid I I, I don't think
- 15:08that will ever work. But the fact is Dylan Harper is
- 15:13the guy that everybody is talking about in this class
- 15:15because some people believe that Dylan Harper, if flag wasn't in
- 15:20this class, was absolutely the number one pick.
- 15:24Some people believe that The Mavericks should have drafted
- 15:27Harper over Cooper flag. Now I don't I've watched Dylan
- 15:31Harper a couple of times this this season.
- 15:35I watched him play for Rutgers. He's he plays in New Jersey,
- 15:38everybody. And by the way, what a
- 15:39recruiting class this past year Rutgers had.
- 15:43I mean, just think about it. The top five picks, two of the
- 15:46best players in his class come from Rutgers and they weren't
- 15:50even in the Sweet 16. So just think about that.
- 15:54The 2 Two out of the top five best players in the nation
- 15:59played for a team that didn't even make it to the Sweet 16.
- 16:02So. They've had some really good
- 16:03talent lately though, too. Classes like and obviously being
- 16:06in the Big 10, I, I get to see it up front and and and close
- 16:10and it usually doesn't end well for us, let's just put it that
- 16:13way. No it doesn't.
- 16:14It's a weird dynamic though. A college basketball like a team
- 16:17like Oregon a couple years ago had Manupal Son on the team and
- 16:21I think they always squeaked into the tournament.
- 16:23It's a 12 seed or something where we've seen them be top
- 16:25three seeds in other years. When it comes to like they were
- 16:28in our final 14. Those are three seed.
- 16:30Another year there was a one season.
- 16:31Sometimes it's weird, but the way college works.
- 16:33Yeah, and, and another thing about when you look at the the
- 16:36top five picks and a lot of people thought VJ Edgecomb was
- 16:39the perfect fit for the 76ers. There's no question that his
- 16:43personality fits over there in Philadelphia.
- 16:47You, you know, Ace Bailey over there in Philadelphia would have
- 16:49never worked because of all the craziness, not only for the
- 16:54city, the fans, and even some of the players on that roster.
- 16:58I don't know if anybody was going to like Ace Bailey, but
- 17:01Ace Bailey, some people thought he was going to fall out of the
- 17:03top 10, which made absolutely no sense.
- 17:06But what I loved about Ace Bailey in this draft is I do
- 17:11believe his ability, his athletic ability and the way he
- 17:15plays the offensive side of the ball.
- 17:18I I think he's going to fit very, very well in the NBAII
- 17:22think his offensive game fits more, especially out of all the
- 17:26top five players in this year's NBA draft.
- 17:29I think he is prototypically the best athletic, offensively
- 17:34gifted player in this class. Now the question is, is he going
- 17:39to develop his shooting ability? That was something that they
- 17:43said he needs to work on. And he he makes some acrobatic
- 17:47plays during, during the college season.
- 17:50Even some of his shots were so acrobatic and they showed some
- 17:53of the videos when he was drafted.
- 17:56He is an incredible gifted player.
- 17:58I just, I wonder if his personality and his confidence
- 18:02is going to hurt him. It didn't hurt Anthony Edwards
- 18:04when he came into the league and that's his confidence.
- 18:06He plays and his attitude is just like Anthony Edwards.
- 18:10He does believe he's the best player in his class.
- 18:13Now you got to go out there and prove it as we all saw what
- 18:16Giannis did in that class Giannis, Giannis fell to 15 or
- 18:1916. Some people thought if Giannis
- 18:22fell any further, he probably goes back to Greece and maybe he
- 18:25never played in the NBA. So this guy Ace Bailey, he he's,
- 18:30we knew he was going to be a top ten pick.
- 18:32We were unsure where he was going to be drafted 1 he didn't
- 18:36go, he didn't practice winning other teams.
- 18:38He didn't work out with any of the teams.
- 18:40And there was a lot of questions that a lot of GM's were just
- 18:43iffy on even drafting them because they didn't think that
- 18:46his game would fit on any of the rosters in the top 7.
- 18:50So I disagree. I think the guy is as gifted as
- 18:53any offensive player we've seen in this class.
- 18:55Now again, Cooper Flag with his whole type of game and and the
- 18:59way he plays the game, he is the best player now and he's a
- 19:02generational talent. The fact is what we have seen in
- 19:06this year's class is we thought that this class was going to be
- 19:10one of these classes like the 2004, 2005 class with LeBron
- 19:15James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony.
- 19:18I don't know if this class is as good as that, but there are
- 19:21players in this class that can just surprise people.
- 19:25I, I and we're going to go through through the whip around
- 19:28and we're, I think we're going, that's the next segment.
- 19:31We're going to go into the whip around.
- 19:32We'll go through the draft and we'll kind of give you our
- 19:35thoughts throughout the draft. But I, I do believe that the
- 19:39Wizards, the Wizards were the way they drafted and the way
- 19:44they set themselves up in this, in this year's draft, I think
- 19:47they set themselves up very, very well.
- 19:49And I, I think everybody keeps talking about the Nets and what
- 19:52they got out of the draft. All these guards, the Nets
- 19:56really fell in a bad position. First of all, they were drafting
- 19:59at 8:00. And the Nets, their season was
- 20:03really up and down. They don't know who who their GM
- 20:06is going to be in the next probably 3 or 4 years because I
- 20:09don't think Sean Marks is going to be there much longer.
- 20:11He really hasn't developed any talent.
- 20:13Thomas is the only guy that they have over there that they have
- 20:16developed and he's the only trade ship they really have on
- 20:19that roster. Ben Simmons, if I'm not
- 20:22mistaken, he's still there. He might be waved, though.
- 20:24Apparently there are rumors. And they're paying Ben Simmons
- 20:2739 and a half, $1,000,000 for practically not even playing.
- 20:32And this is an organization that's in a shambles.
- 20:34They don't have James Harden anymore, they don't have Kyrie
- 20:36Irving, they don't have Kevin Durant.
- 20:38Kevin Durant gets traded to what?
- 20:40This is his fourth team he's been on in how many years?
- 20:445 It hasn't been good, but I'm Kevin Durant, still a great
- 20:48player. But again, I I love what we're
- 20:53seeing what the Phoenix Suns did in this year's class and we're
- 20:56going to get into that and a whip around.
- 20:57But again, Cooper flags going to be in amazing player.
- 21:01Dylan Harper is going to be a special player.
- 21:03I what are the Spurs going to do with D Aaron Fox?
- 21:06That's the question. How does this work?
- 21:09Do you move D Aaron Fox to the two?
- 21:11He's not big enough to play the 2.
- 21:13So do they trade D Aaron Fox and try next year to get a draft
- 21:17pick or or maybe get two or three draft picks for D Aaron
- 21:21Fox and a player this coming season?
- 21:23Because as much as everybody keeps thinking that Wembe is
- 21:27going to be back in the beginning of the season, we
- 21:29don't know if Wembe is going to be back in the beginning of the
- 21:31season. He has blood clots now.
- 21:33Everybody thinks and everybody believes that he will be back
- 21:37when it comes to camps and all that other stuff.
- 21:39They also have a rookie coach. So this isn't Greg Popovich
- 21:43anymore. You have a rookie coach.
- 21:45He's never been in a position like this.
- 21:47He's got some young talent there.
- 21:48But there's there's just a lot of questions with the Spurs.
- 21:51I do again, Dylan Harper is a special player.
- 21:55Is he D Aaron Fox? Is he better than D Aaron Fox?
- 21:58Are they going to make the wrong choice?
- 21:59Because we all know Sacramento had at one point D Aaron Fox and
- 22:04Hal Burton, they decided to move Hal Burton because they wanted
- 22:07to keep D Aaron Fox. Hal Burton became a star.
- 22:10And D Aaron Fox is still a great player, but he's, you know, he's
- 22:14a seesaw type of player. Is he, could you consider him a
- 22:18star or superstar or just a great player?
- 22:20That's the question with D Aaron Fox.
- 22:22And what are the Spurs going to get for D Aaron Fox knowing that
- 22:26teams already know they're going to look to move them?
- 22:28Yeah, it's tough because you look at 3:00 backcourt players
- 22:31now bringing in, bringing in Harper, obviously you couldn't
- 22:33pass up on a town like that. There's a kind of, I wouldn't
- 22:36say like a significant drop off, but there's definitely a good
- 22:37difference between Harper and the next best player in this
- 22:39class, whoever it may be, whether it's Bailey, whether it
- 22:41is Edgecomb, whether the Spurs have 3 essentially guards in
- 22:46that backcourt. So they played the options of
- 22:48trying to dangle your options with Fox to be able to do that
- 22:51because you're right, his skill set's not really built for A2
- 22:53guard. I think Castles could be.
- 22:55I think Harper definitely has a well-rounded skill, so that
- 22:57could be great for both of them. But the way it works, you're
- 23:00going to a really small backcourt 123 if you end up
- 23:03keeping Darren Fox. So either one of them is going
- 23:06to have to bulk up or they're going to try to play small much
- 23:10of the year, which we'll see what this new coach is, but it's
- 23:12definitely not what Greg Popovich likes to do.
- 23:14So I would be surprised if you're right if the Aaron Fox
- 23:17isn't traded, if they don't bulk up you.
- 23:19Have to move them. Yeah, he's not.
- 23:21He's not been he's the he's the highest value that they can get
- 23:24something for and get some length and maybe get somebody.
- 23:27But yeah, they're they're high. I mean, what are they going to
- 23:30do? I mean, obviously I think Dylan
- 23:31coming in brings a different pedigree and, and obviously
- 23:34being around the game for as long as he has.
- 23:35But I think you're 100% right. You got to move.
- 23:38The Aaron to. To get something from him at his
- 23:41value that he has right now. Because the other thing with the
- 23:44Spurs too, they're 14 pick was Carter Bryant, who's a good
- 23:47player, but he's a small type. He's 6-7, He's not going to be
- 23:50able to play a power forward. So then you shift him to a power
- 23:53forward that's a really small. Lineup and Khan Canoopal did.
- 23:56Did anybody know that he has four other brothers that are
- 23:58just as good of a player? I heard one of them.
- 24:01Was good and do you how dope are their names?
- 24:05They all are dope and and by the way, they're all talented, every
- 24:08single one of them. So, and I've I've been reading a
- 24:11little bit about each and every one of those brothers and Khan
- 24:14Khan might not even be the best brother so.
- 24:17That's the crazy thing you're saying.
- 24:18This is the next group of brothers, the Plumlee brothers,
- 24:21the Duke. No, but the Plumlee brothers
- 24:22weren't even good. No, I know that.
- 24:24I'm just saying they. Weren't even good.
- 24:25That'll be the next Mason. Plumlee was probably the best
- 24:27one out of all of them. Oh yeah, easily.
- 24:29But just think about it. The Knoople family, all of them
- 24:33are going to go to Duke. Every single one of them are
- 24:35going to be recruited by Duke, especially Coach K still
- 24:38helping. Yeah, well, he's not my favorite
- 24:42coach. He's very well respected, not
- 24:44only in the the college world, but in the NBA and
- 24:48internationally. So he's still a part of Duke and
- 24:50he's going to help recruit players.
- 24:52But Khan is probably not even the best one out of all of them.
- 24:56You got all three of the the three young, Well, not the
- 24:59youngest one, but all the three other brothers behind him.
- 25:02Every single one of them are top end players internationally and
- 25:07internationally ranked right now.
- 25:09And I think all three of them are going to be pretty good
- 25:11players and NBA players. As you heard when they were all
- 25:14interviewed, when Khan was getting interviewed, they were
- 25:16all standing next to them. They all look like each other,
- 25:19every single one of them. And Khan just stood there.
- 25:21The brothers were taking over the interview.
- 25:23He didn't really say anything. He's more quiet than the other.
- 25:27The other three were the the big mouth, the blabber mouth, so.
- 25:30He was still. In he was still.
- 25:31In was he was. Still in disability if he was
- 25:33drafted by the Hornets, he was contemplating if that was.
- 25:35Really. I don't think that's a bad move
- 25:37for the Hornets, no. No, it's a good move for the
- 25:38Hornets. I'm just saying.
- 25:39Lamella Ball Lamella ball is a good shooter.
- 25:42He's not as good of a shooter as Khan Khan is.
- 25:45Khan is a great shooter and if he could develop a shot even
- 25:48more in the perimeter side because he's a great 3 point
- 25:51shooter. He's got the fastest release in
- 25:53this draft class. There's no question that he
- 25:55does. But his offensive side of the
- 25:57his game, especially the 1817 foot jumpers have to get better
- 26:02and he's not a big guy. He really isn't out of all the
- 26:05guys. I I think if I'm not mistaken,
- 26:07he's like 6667. It's 5 to 19.
- 26:10There so he's even smaller than I thought he was.
- 26:12So I, I just, I, I think that Khan needs to, I think develop
- 26:17more of an inside game and is, and he asked her, I, I do
- 26:21believe he has to work on his 1718 foot jump shot that he's
- 26:25had problems, especially in the tournament, making those 1718
- 26:29foot jumpers against the better defensive teams as we all know
- 26:32what happened against Houston. Yeah, also the Hornets have
- 26:34lacked A sharpshooter for a while.
- 26:36Like Michael Jordan, when he was owning the team, they always, he
- 26:39drafted these hybrid forward types and tried to make it work.
- 26:41PJ Washington was pretty good over there, but you had other
- 26:44studs in college like Frank Kaminski that did not develop
- 26:46over there and they just had trouble with a lot of these
- 26:48backcourt players. They tried it with Malik Monk.
- 26:50It didn't work out there. They had to trade him pretty
- 26:52quickly. And Canuoples is probably the
- 26:55best one that they've had in a while.
- 26:56It's a good fit, like you said, with Lamella Ball, who's not the
- 26:59greatest 3 point shooter. It's not bad, but he's not
- 27:01great. And then Brandon Miller to the
- 27:02number two pick, which I really liked at the time, but it's
- 27:05still pretty raw as a three-point.
- 27:06Shooter And again, this is a class that a lot of people, we
- 27:10had how many GMs assisted GMs on the show in the past?
- 27:13They said that this class was going to be one of the better
- 27:16classes we've seen in the in the last 15 years.
- 27:19They're all of a sudden you thought that the class was going
- 27:22to explode right off the paper and it really isn't.
- 27:25Now, again, you don't know what these guys are going to
- 27:26transition in. I remember when Dwyane Wade,
- 27:29that draft class, Dwayne was a good player when he came from
- 27:32Marquette. We didn't think that Dwayne was
- 27:34going to be as good as he was. OK, So we knew what Carmelo
- 27:38Anthony was, who was the the the second Darko, Darko Milechek,
- 27:44who a lot of people thought was going to be a super.
- 27:47Everybody thought that Darko Milechek was going to be Yokich.
- 27:50That's what they thought he was going to be.
- 27:52And Darko Milechek pretty fast, was an absolute bust.
- 27:56And then eventually, I think he only played seven years in the
- 28:00NBA or six years in the NBA before he went back to
- 28:03international basketball. I mean, of those years, though,
- 28:05was he really playing? No, he really didn't.
- 28:08And Detroit. He was on a roster.
- 28:10Just think about this. If Detroit drafted Carmelo
- 28:13Anthony that year because they had the number two pick, could
- 28:16you imagine how many more championships they would have
- 28:18won with Carmelo Anthony? Just think about it.
- 28:21Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Phillips, Rasheed Wallace, Ben
- 28:25Wallace, Prince and Hamilton on that roster.
- 28:28Forget about it. They want two titles.
- 28:30They would have won maybe three in a row that that could have
- 28:34been a dynasty. So they would have probably been
- 28:36the Golden State Warriors of that era, but they didn't.
- 28:40And then eventually they traded Chauncey Billups to Denver for
- 28:43Allen Iverson. Remember that?
- 28:45So it, it's crazy how it just flip flops and things just
- 28:48absolutely changes. But I, it's again, looking at
- 28:52this draft, especially the top five there, these guys are
- 28:56expected to be stars. Your, your top five top 6 picks
- 29:00are expected to be starters and stars on their rosters.
- 29:04I, I do believe and I'm going to, I know what people might
- 29:07attack me on this. Ace Bailey might be the most
- 29:11talented player in this class. He might be everything that I've
- 29:16heard about him offensively the the gifts that this kid has.
- 29:19He is the prototype of an Anthony Edwards and the ability
- 29:24that this guy, if he, you know, really develops a better
- 29:28three-point shot, he might be unstoppable on the offensive
- 29:31side of the ball. Yeah, he has upside that it
- 29:34definitely screams top three pick.
- 29:35And he's got the body type that's perfect too. 6 foot,
- 29:3792-O3. We can shoot in a many different
- 29:41spots on the court and any team that was drafting him at that
- 29:44point. Maybe the Sixers thought
- 29:45Edgecomb was a better fit for the type of position that he is
- 29:47because they already have Paul George.
- 29:48Maybe Bailey's too similar to Paul George.
- 29:50Maybe they didn't. I want to do that, but every
- 29:52other team 4 through 9 could have easily used Ace Bailey.
- 29:56Bailey, obviously, I think he wanted to go to the Wizards.
- 29:58I think that's why he was annoyed that Utah drafted him.
- 30:00He wanted to stay on the. East Coast his Did you read?
- 30:03His agent came out and said nobody in the top five take him
- 30:06like his agent. His agent came out and said
- 30:08that. His agent's immoral.
- 30:10He's an absolute immoral. I'm just, I'm just saying like
- 30:13it came out and I mean, obviously it's a rumor.
- 30:15So Utah. Has an absolute gem, I'm telling
- 30:19you right now, you and he's, it's perfect.
- 30:21Him going to Utah is perfect for him and his development because
- 30:25he's not in a major city. He's not going to have to deal
- 30:27with Philadelphia or Brooklyn where there's going to be a lot
- 30:30of pressure on him. He's going to Utah, where Utah,
- 30:33besides their new hockey team, they're all basketball.
- 30:37That's all they are. It's only basketball.
- 30:40You ask Carmelone, you ask John Stockton.
- 30:42That was a place. If you want to develop, that's
- 30:45the place you go to because you don't have to deal with anything
- 30:49but a small city and in all you have to worry about is the
- 30:52winters and how cold it is over there.
- 30:54That's about it. It's all basketball.
- 30:56It's a basketball town and I think he's going to become a.
- 30:59Super. They got good college football,
- 31:01yes. They do, but I'm talking about
- 31:02professional sports. The only thing they really have
- 31:05over there is basketball. They do have a hockey team now,
- 31:08but that's still it's going to have to pick up.
- 31:10They still have to grow over there.
- 31:12When it comes to hockey, it is all basketball and that's why
- 31:15Karl Malone and John Stock there.
- 31:17Karl Malone left the Utah Jazz at the tail end of his career.
- 31:21He played for the Lakers, but besides that, Karl Malone was a
- 31:24lifer over there in Utah and John Stockton never played
- 31:27anywhere else but Utah. And you could see why I think
- 31:30it's the perfect, perfect slam dunk place for Ace Bailey.
- 31:34Yeah, it's another one that high upside.
- 31:35So Godfest, what you're saying? Danny Ainge is no fool, Errol.
- 31:39Danny Ainge should know. He goes, he goes, oh, wait, is
- 31:43the next Paul George sitting there for me at number 50?
- 31:47He is. He even looks like, in fact,
- 31:49there's a team that doesn't want to take him because they're
- 31:51hoping that Paul George is 10 years younger magically and
- 31:54healthy and he'll be able to play for them because they're
- 31:56paying him a lot of. Our training staff knows
- 31:58everything about keeping players healthy.
- 32:00Look, if it's me, look, I understand taking Knoople and
- 32:04Charlotte. They like taking a bunch of
- 32:05white guys who can't play defense but can shoot the lights
- 32:07out. They're going to be terrible.
- 32:09They'll have more fun offense to watch, but they're going to be
- 32:10terrible. Again, good, good for them.
- 32:12But I'm really curious at the Edgecombe pick.
- 32:16The Edgecombe pick for the Sixers over Ace Bailey is what's
- 32:20going to come back to the story we're going to talk about.
- 32:23I've seen a lot of guys like Edgecombe get drafted, never
- 32:26develop a shot and then become nothing in the league.
- 32:30He doesn't have a shot. He's a 42% shooter in college
- 32:34from the field, 34 from three. That's below average from what
- 32:38you're looking for as a number three pick in the NBNBA draft.
- 32:41He's a super athlete like Anthony Edwards, but for as many
- 32:45guys that are super athletes, only a couple of them develop a
- 32:49shot like Anthony Edwards. That's good enough.
- 32:52And Edwards doesn't have the best shot, but it's it's much
- 32:55better than this. And they're taking the gamble
- 32:58that this guy is going to be the one this the Super athlete that
- 33:01develops the shot over the guy that can ball already.
- 33:06We see it and he's tall and he's going to get bigger and
- 33:10stronger. This is a bigger, stronger
- 33:13version of Paul George projecting.
- 33:15What are you doing? I mean, I love it because I I
- 33:17hate that team and what they what they did, you know?
- 33:20Yeah, of course, for years. I mean, it's great for me.
- 33:24I think he's. I think he's Anthony Edwards.
- 33:26I, I really do his, his gifts, his athletic ability, he has by
- 33:309 lanky dude, He is by far the most athletic player in this
- 33:33class. I, I don't think anybody is
- 33:35questioning his athleticism. He is great.
- 33:38Now Dylan Harper played on the same roster, but Dylan Harper
- 33:41was the quote UN quote superstar of the roster.
- 33:44And the only reason why Ace Bailey didn't get all that glare
- 33:47and glory is because Ace Bailey a lot of people believe is A1
- 33:51dimensional player. Now he could play defense, he's
- 33:53a good defensive player, but he's not a great one.
- 33:56Dylan Harper is a is a two way player.
- 33:59He's a great defender and he's a great offensive player.
- 34:02But here's the problem when you look at somebody like Ace
- 34:05Bailey, Ace Bailey can transition.
- 34:08You could put him at the 1. He could bring, he could dribble
- 34:10the ball, he could play the 1, he could play the two, he could
- 34:13play the three and he could even probably as long as he is
- 34:17athletically gifted as he is, if you need him to at some, some
- 34:21points play the four. So offensively he is so gifted
- 34:26and and by the way, he could go left, he could go right, he's
- 34:29strong left as well as he is right and he could shoot the
- 34:32ball, shoot the lights out of the ball.
- 34:34It's. Madness, Errol.
- 34:35I didn't. Understand it.
- 34:37The guy shoots like Carmelo did in college and they let him go
- 34:41and they decided to take a project on an offensive side.
- 34:44Just a super. He would have never worked in
- 34:46Philadelphia. His personality, I mean, just
- 34:49think of what he was saying when he was interviewed.
- 34:51The first thing he brought up was the Giannis.
- 34:53The Giannis because he was on social media and he he was going
- 34:57back and forth with Giannis and Giannis and LeBron James.
- 35:00And I think Kevin Durant, I'm not sure if it was Kevin Durant
- 35:03or Kawhi Leonard said that. This guy is the best and the
- 35:07most gifted athletic player in this year's class.
- 35:10All three of them said that. And by the way, some people are
- 35:12comparing his skills to Kawhi Leonard, too.
- 35:15I saw that. Yeah.
- 35:16So I. Don't know if he's the defensive
- 35:18player Kawhi Leonard is, but but but you're right, he's young and
- 35:22that's the thing you don't realize when you look at him,
- 35:24he's real skinny still. He hasn't grown into his body
- 35:27completely yet. He's still really young.
- 35:30You can't project defense. He look as soon as he gets
- 35:32bigger and stronger, he's going to be able to get lower to the
- 35:34ground with his squats and his lunges.
- 35:36And guess what? He's going to be able to play
- 35:38better defense than he then he showed in college because he's
- 35:40going to be a better athlete, because he's going to be able to
- 35:42do it full time. I am not worried about the
- 35:44defense. I just think to me, the only
- 35:48reason he doesn't go to in this draft is because Dylan Harper is
- 35:51that good. I mean, Dylan Harper, his
- 35:53father, pretty impressive basketball player in his own
- 35:56right. Yeah, he was.
- 35:57We don't remember correctly. Ron Harper.
- 35:59One of the most dominant defending point guards in NBA
- 36:05history and people forget that because when the Bulls,
- 36:07everybody remember this, the 96 balls, everybody talks about the
- 36:1196 balls and how great they were.
- 36:14Just think about it. All world first team defensive
- 36:18team that was on that roster, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper,
- 36:23Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, all four, four out of the five
- 36:27guys on that roster were first team defensive players.
- 36:30Just think about that. That's how good they do.
- 36:33Now. Everybody keeps saying Golden
- 36:34State, Golden State, they couldn't stop the the Bulls.
- 36:36The 96 Bulls couldn't have stopped the Golden State
- 36:39Warriors when they had Kevin Durant Bull crap.
- 36:42If you have all four of those guys, Scottie Pippen takes out,
- 36:46Kevin Durant, Michael Jordan, Steph Curry.
- 36:48You could have put them on Mike, Steph Curry or Klay Thompson.
- 36:51He stopped Dennis Rodman. You put Dennis Rodman on Kevin
- 36:55Durant if you want. He would have been a flea to
- 36:58Kevin Durant. None of those guys would have
- 37:00had open shots or had the ability to go to the hole
- 37:03without running into Dennis Rodman smacking you around.
- 37:06OK, so I, I don't know how anybody think.
- 37:09I think the Bulls, the 96 balls beat the Golden State Warriors,
- 37:13the best Golden State Warriors team.
- 37:15Whichever 1 you want to pick in five games, five games.
- 37:18It'd be funnier to make Dennis Rodman.
- 37:20Make Draymond Green cry, though. It's crazy.
- 37:22It's. Great, and those playing centre
- 37:24on those. Teams, I'm sorry.
- 37:26Luke play centre on the. Luke Longley so.
- 37:29They wouldn't be able to play Luke.
- 37:30Longley against that team like that, that's the thing, like
- 37:32today's game we talk about all the time that that type of
- 37:35centre can't exist in that against that type of offense.
- 37:39So they would have to play without and they move Rodman to
- 37:41centre. They just play Rodman at the
- 37:43centre and they would play small as well and that's all they
- 37:46would do. And they just spoke Pippin out
- 37:48there. Oh, you forget who was on their
- 37:49bench. You forget what's on their
- 37:51bench. Sally out with Sally on.
- 37:52There. That's, yeah, Steve Kerr, Hold.
- 37:55On Yeah, Steve Kerr, Tony Ku. Coach Tony.
- 37:58KU coach, Yeah, KU coach should play the four.
- 37:59Rodman would play the five. That's Tony Kucho.
- 38:01Kuko wasn't. Wasn't.
- 38:03Robert Ori on that team, no. He wasn't on that team.
- 38:06No, he was Spurs and Lakers I. Think no in. 96.
- 38:10No on 9690. Six, he was on the Rockets.
- 38:13He was on the Rockets, then Spurs.
- 38:16Then to the Lakers, yes, so. He was Robert Ori when he, when
- 38:21they, when the Rockets went back-to-back championships,
- 38:23Robert Ori was a part of that team.
- 38:25So and so was Clyde Drexler. Robert Ori was the third guy,
- 38:29fourth guy because you had Cassell.
- 38:32Cassell was on that team. You had Elijah Wan and you had
- 38:36Drexler and then a little bit later you had Charles Barkley on
- 38:40that team. So I crazy crazy to say that
- 38:43Maxwell I remember from. Those teams, Vernon Maxwell was
- 38:46on the. Vernon Maxwell was on the 94
- 38:49team, the championship team, the.
- 38:51Night they were two. Championships.
- 38:53Yeah I know, but I only watched the one.
- 38:54Where the Knicks lost to them and I watched both of them.
- 38:57It made me sick to. Myself, I'm sure I was younger.
- 38:59Do you? Remember, do you remember where?
- 39:01Where he went after the Rockets? Maxwell.
- 39:08I don't, I would guess. Somewhere obscure, I'll say.
- 39:12Toronto after the. Rockets.
- 39:13Was he like? One of the expansion.
- 39:15Guys on the on the on Toronto or like.
- 39:18Vancouver Grizzlies. You know.
- 39:20I'm I'm. I'm probably.
- 39:21Thinking about somebody else, because I Vernon, I remember
- 39:24Vernon Maxwell. Let me look it up.
- 39:26He wasn't. Very good in the NBA.
- 39:27Jam. It was the Sandy Sixers.
- 39:30Just talking about NBA Jam, Yeah, I love NBA Jam, he got.
- 39:34Traded to. The the six, he bounced around,
- 39:37yes. He was on a different team every
- 39:38year after that, yes, Yeah. Now you got to.
- 39:41You got to remember when we were younger, being in Nebraska.
- 39:45You didn't get these like huge like stations.
- 39:48I got TBS, so I was obviously a Bulls fan.
- 39:50Why I'm a Braves fan. So like when you we'd go to the
- 39:53arcade and you got to play with these guys, that's what got me
- 39:56into basketball and like basketball cards and all that.
- 39:58So like some of these like guys that I didn't know and then I
- 40:02get older and then obviously TV expands is how like I truly,
- 40:05genuinely got into basketball so.
- 40:08Yeah, NBA Jam is a great reference for me.
- 40:10Usually in the 90s he's on. Fire in the 90s they didn't.
- 40:14Beside, if they weren't on the the, what did they call it?
- 40:17The game of the week on ESPN or something of that magnitude?
- 40:20Marv, Albert. All the time they didn't.
- 40:23Have the NBA Network, they didn't have all these channels,
- 40:26you know, it was like Saturday and game.
- 40:28Of the week right it was like 2 two games a week yeah they
- 40:31didn't have it so and. Most of the time it was Michael
- 40:33Jordan and the Bulls on the game of the week because everybody
- 40:36wanted to see Michael Jordan. That's all anybody they cared
- 40:38about and that's why there were a lot of Bulls fans.
- 40:41Everybody asks why there are so many Bulls fans now and Cowboy
- 40:45fans. Well, because the 90s there were
- 40:48a lot of frontrunners. The Cowboys won 3 championships
- 40:51and they were as dominant as any team in in in professional
- 40:54football and in the Bulls. And Michael Jordan and the Bulls
- 40:57won how many championships? 6 championships.
- 41:00They won three in a row. Then Michael Jordan retired for
- 41:02two and then they won another three.
- 41:04After they had a Dennis Rodman, he came out of retire.
- 41:06The thing is, and this draft, I, I, I'm not comparing it to any
- 41:10other draft. I'm just telling you, when we
- 41:12had GMs on our show or executive GM, they said that this class
- 41:16was by far the best class. And next year's class, they said
- 41:20was even better. These next two classes are by
- 41:23far the best classes we've seen in the last 15 years.
- 41:26And you look at this class, does anything besides Ace, Bailey,
- 41:30Harper and Flag really stick out to you?
- 41:33I, I don't know, Kanupo could be a good player.
- 41:37He's a great shooter, but his development as his inside game
- 41:40and his 1718 foot jumpers, which by the way, he could not hit
- 41:45against the against Houston in the playoffs in, in the, in the
- 41:49final four, which hurt Duke going and moving forward to the
- 41:52championship game. It, it was a big problem.
- 41:55So I, I just, and again, we all know the Hornets, the Hornets
- 41:58are an organization that don't draft right?
- 42:00And Michael Jordan is not even running the organization
- 42:02anymore. So I it's crazy, it really is.
- 42:06There was a record set during the.
- 42:07Draft. There is one other thing before
- 42:09we move on to this round table thing we're going to do.
- 42:11The Nets made five first round picks.
- 42:15It's never happened before where a team, I mean you've started a
- 42:18draft with five picks, but they usually trade a bunch of them to
- 42:21move up. Not the Nets.
- 42:22We don't want to get anyone better.
- 42:24Let's just sit tight with five picks and then draft 4 guards
- 42:30and Danny Wolf from Michigan who's kind of like a ball
- 42:33handling center. So a bunch of guys that need the
- 42:35ball and they. Didn't try to trade.
- 42:38Up to get Ace Bailey that five, if you're sitting there with
- 42:42eight, right? The Nets are sitting there with
- 42:44eight and then four other first round picks and Ace Bailey still
- 42:50on the table. How do you not offer a couple,
- 42:54maybe 3 picks to get up to 5 or to four?
- 42:58Because Kanupo probably still there at 8:00 if they let him
- 43:01go. 5050 shot at it. And not do that, I don't.
- 43:06Understand what Sean Marks is doing or Bobby Marks is to Bobby
- 43:09Marks, Sean Marks, Sean Marks now.
- 43:11He's Sean Marks reach at #8 for a guy that was probably barely a
- 43:14top 20 pick, he's one of the marks is he should.
- 43:16Be the not his good marks. He should be a Bobby Marks.
- 43:19Because he can't do anything with the name Sean.
- 43:21So I'm about Steed, Mark. That's.
- 43:25Ashley's nickname, first of all. I don't know if Sean.
- 43:28Is related to me but he could be because I do have family
- 43:32internationally so isn't he? He's Australian.
- 43:35Australian, but the marks. Family, my, my family go all the
- 43:38way to Spain. So I don't know, maybe Sean
- 43:41Marks is related to me. But I, I'll tell you this, I'll
- 43:45tell you somebody that might be, I'm pretty sure is related to
- 43:47me. There is a, there is a guard on
- 43:50the Knicks, Jalen Brunson, his wife, her last name is Marks.
- 43:54And what I've heard is she actually could be related to me.
- 43:57So the crazy thing, that's a crazy story.
- 44:00I, I was talking to my grandfather and I said, do you
- 44:03do you know, do you know this and that?
- 44:06And he says that I, I, he actually, I got to look, I got
- 44:09to look it up. I got to do that ancestry
- 44:11something. I got to do that because I
- 44:14there's, it's, it's very hard that you're, you're, you're,
- 44:17you're, you live in New York and you're from New York and you're
- 44:20not related to my family. So there's not many Marx's out
- 44:23here. So I'm just, ladies and
- 44:25gentlemen, we call this segment King of the Hill.
- 44:28And here's. The King of the Hill, this
- 44:31Bobby, is the. Beltline you never, ever hit
- 44:34below that. Not that kind of king of the.
- 44:36Hill you dumb? Ready, are you?
- 44:39Ready. This is king of the.
- 44:40Hill guys, King of the Hill. Doodle, this is our.
- 44:44I need a. Blow Pop trivia.
- 44:47Game. Where the king is in.
- 44:51Charge. And we have to try to dethrone
- 44:53him. First off is the peasant fight.
- 44:56Everyone who's not the king faces each other in a trivia
- 44:59round. Then we have the two winners as
- 45:02decided by the king, face off in the joust.
- 45:05And the winner of the joust is burning.
- 45:09Probably not if that's going on, but.
- 45:10If they if they can't make it through without rear end
- 45:13burning, they would get to save on the sitter boys.
- 45:18The way it's going to work, I'm not going to play.
- 45:19I'm going to be the host on the side and we are going to get
- 45:23into the first round right away. It's peasant fight time.
- 45:28Except in this game Mr. Zach, our intern has been a king when
- 45:33you haven't been around Errol and defeated you last time you
- 45:37were king. So Zach, if you can turn your
- 45:39camera on, you and Errol are Co kings, which you may say that's
- 45:44not possible. I am a history teacher that the
- 45:47city state of ancient Sparta most definitely had two kings.
- 45:52Sparta. Yes, that same one.
- 45:55So here we go, you. And so Errol, you're going to
- 45:57decide this round. Who are the two people going to
- 45:59joust? Zach, you'll pick who faces off
- 46:02against the three of you in a three-way king.
- 46:05Take on the king round to decide once and for all who's our
- 46:10leader. All right, here we go.
- 46:13Was round one. As I said before, peasant fight.
- 46:20This is an NBA draft. Show I want you to tell me what
- 46:25year NBA draft class is the best of all time.
- 46:31So here we go. I'm going to be up here.
- 46:35Errol is going to take the king chair.
- 46:37Zach, you're going to hang out. Actually, you know what Zach,
- 46:39you stay over here in the coking slot for now.
- 46:41I'll be in the corner. We're going to start this one
- 46:44off with Tommy scoops. All right, so I'm going to go
- 46:48with. Pretty, pretty easy.
- 46:50Want to go off with the 2003 NBA Draft.
- 46:53I mean, come on now we have LeBron James, we had Mr. Carmelo
- 46:56Anthony, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and of course that ended
- 46:59up being the big three that we know that happened to win some
- 47:03championships over there in the Miami Heat.
- 47:05Look, I mean this, this is just such a stellar round.
- 47:08This is just such a stellar draft pick.
- 47:10Even have David West as well. A lot of guys that really came
- 47:13out of this draft as well, not even Hall of Famers wise or
- 47:15whatnot, but 2003 was so stellar on top of that, even great the
- 47:19perk on ESPN, Kendrick Perkins is a part of this draft as well.
- 47:23So he sucks you, you lose. Automatically.
- 47:25Right there, you lose automatically.
- 47:27A joke. It's true, Perkins.
- 47:29It's a joke anyways. You know, even Luke Walton was
- 47:33on this team as well, if he was a mother favorite.
- 47:35Kyle Korver, Luke. Walton Shooter.
- 47:37Shooter out of Kyle Korver as well for a very.
- 47:39Long time 2003, couldn't get much better than that.
- 47:41So that's the one I'm starting off with.
- 47:43All right, Speedy. All right, tough to go against
- 47:4619. 84 When you when you look at Michael Jordan, you'll get
- 47:48Charles Barkley, John Stockton and number one pick Hakeem
- 47:51Elijah. If only the Blazers didn't take
- 47:53Sam Bowie may look a little better, but tough to go wrong
- 47:55with that one, yeah? That's the one, everyone.
- 47:58Points to Jabba. I'm going to go 90.
- 48:03Six. It's hard to I mean, Kobe filled
- 48:09a 13. Granted is out of high school,
- 48:10but I mean the depth and Steve Nash, I mean, you go all the way
- 48:15through the so Drew, this was in that by the way, you had two
- 48:20high school guys come out of it. A lot of guys that were just I
- 48:26mean, Hall of Farmers and I think talent wise, early end,
- 48:31like Errol's has said before, like those first like 20 picks,
- 48:34it's it's pretty nice. So I'm going to, I'm going to
- 48:37have to go that 96 draft now. Goody this.
- 48:41We're going to do this like a fantasy draft where you get it
- 48:44gets to the last person and then they pick the last pick of the
- 48:47first round and the first pick of the second round.
- 48:49So goody you got 2 to tell us. Well, I mean, the 1984 draft
- 48:59there had had football. Hall of Hammer or What's?
- 49:04What? Well.
- 49:04I'm last How did you know against Michael Jordan?
- 49:11I'm supposed to pick another draft class, yeah.
- 49:13Different one. I don't know. 2000. 25 drafts,
- 49:17they took the whole Duke squad. This guy Cam Cam with the number
- 49:21one pick Cooper flag. He's supposed to be the best
- 49:24player on earth ever play to pick up a basketball.
- 49:27So 2025 is looking pretty stellar.
- 49:30Hopefully they'll get in there, do their job.
- 49:31They're all young, so we know they got a lot of upside, lots
- 49:38of upside. Lots of upside the 2020.
- 49:40Five draft we're looking solid there so I'm going to go 2025
- 49:43since apparently this game's rigged all right and.
- 49:47Your second. For the second round of King of
- 49:50the Hill. Yeah, King of the Hill.
- 49:54What's the second one? Goody's going to.
- 49:56Pass on giving us a second one. A second of the year.
- 50:00Oh bro what? I got one year you got.
- 50:04To take three teams you got to everyone goes 3 * 3 times on the
- 50:10same. Draft there's only. 4 of you oh,
- 50:14you're going to have to. You're going to have.
- 50:15To catch me on the flip here, I got to go.
- 50:17I got to get back into my chat. Chat GPP.
- 50:20That is all right, right? You are there, Nick Jabba.
- 50:29I'm going to go O3. Obviously, kind of.
- 50:32I'm already taken as. Well, already used who?
- 50:35Did I saw that was the first one?
- 50:37Tommy picked it. Oh, Tommy, you're stupid.
- 50:40All right. I'll go again.
- 50:41Here we go. Came up 1987.
- 50:44David Robertson, Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, Kevin Johnson
- 50:48Loaded with foundational players.
- 50:53Deep. And contributor.
- 50:57Major. Legacy on.
- 50:58Both offense and defense. Absolute novel and.
- 51:03I'll give you a third one just just to get it out of the way so
- 51:06I I don't have to do this for me.
- 51:07No, no, that's cheating because someone.
- 51:09Might take that oh it's cheating but I can't use. 84 with Michael
- 51:12Jordan like the only draft I've already been taken whatever
- 51:24fake. News.
- 51:26Fake news. All right, well, I got my next.
- 51:302 So let's keep it going, Java, give us one. 09 Damn, there you
- 51:35go. Obviously some.
- 51:39Careers panned out better than. The others and then some ended
- 51:43up being a lot better than they thought they were.
- 51:45I mean, you got deep guys and guys that are still playing to
- 51:48this day at A at a high level, one of the biggest mouth in
- 51:52basketball, obviously Pat Bev, but.
- 51:57Yeah, I just think it was. It was.
- 51:58A fun class. Scaresboro was in that draft.
- 52:01A lot of lot of guys that had OK careers and some that we didn't
- 52:06think we're gonna have great careers ended up having great
- 52:08careers. So it was a it was a good class
- 52:11for me, OK. I believe that's the Blake
- 52:15Griffin draft. He's whipping speedy.
- 52:20I'll go 1990. 3 Chris. Webber was the first overall
- 52:22pick of that draft. Penny Hardaway was in that.
- 52:25Sam Cassell, who you guys talk about all the time.
- 52:27One of the better players as well.
- 52:28Alan Houston. A big part of the 90s Knicks
- 52:30teams as well. Alan Houston's the man.
- 52:34Good call, Tommy, nobody said for two. 85.
- 52:38Correct, nobody said 80. Five.
- 52:39I don't think so, Alan, said Patrick.
- 52:41Ewing. All.
- 52:42Right. Well, 1985.
- 52:43Patrick Ewing, Nick's legend right there, shaming everyone
- 52:46himself. A ring, but hey, he's also
- 52:48filled with a lot of All Stars as well, Xavier McDaniel,
- 52:51Charles Oakley as well. Even got Chris Mullen and Karl
- 52:55Malone and even colostomy bags. The main man here, that live
- 53:00shrimp was a part of this draft class as well too full of a lot
- 53:03of guys, Terry Porter, Joe Dumars, Joe Dumars as well.
- 53:07Hey, couldn't get better than much.
- 53:08It really couldn't get better than this right here.
- 53:10So it's going to be for #285 NBA draft.
- 53:14And your last pick of the first round, Tommy, I'm going to go.
- 53:19With the 98 NBA Draft, this one wasn't filled entirely with a
- 53:26lot of stars, but it did have the most notable one of the best
- 53:29dunkers of all time. Vince Carter of course changed
- 53:31the game for dunking and was really one of the best dunkers
- 53:33for years at his position. Dirk Nowitzki, one of the best
- 53:37European big man, if not the best European big man of all
- 53:40time, and of course one of the most clutch players in one of
- 53:43the best Celtics player that made me throw open my mouth a
- 53:45little bit. But Paul Pierce is well in this
- 53:47draft, so give me the 98 NBA Draft.
- 53:52All right, Speedy. I'll go the year before 90. 7
- 53:55yet, Tim Duncan, Chauncey Billups, Keith Van Horn, not a
- 53:58Hall of Famer but pretty solid, pretty solid player as well.
- 54:01And Tracy McGrady was not a top ten pick I believe, but was
- 54:06later in that draft, I think 12th or 13th overall, so ended
- 54:09up being a Hall of Famer as well.
- 54:10So I'm going to go 97 Jabba. I'm going to go 90. 9:00 Just
- 54:17because I'm hungry and I want to lose but it was still a good
- 54:20draft. Well Danny's now in the front
- 54:23office. You had Stevie franchise that
- 54:25did some stuff one of one of the Kardashians, I mean Odom Wally
- 54:31Zerbiak stole money for like 12 years.
- 54:34You had RIP one of the grossest shooters ever but was wet with
- 54:37Shawn Marion and. You had Monyu he.
- 54:43Was there. So yeah, I got 99.
- 54:45He was wet and. Goody to finish the rounds 19.
- 54:5160 Lulu. 19. 60. We had Oscar Robertson, number
- 54:5711 time, MVP, triple double king.
- 55:00We had the logo, NBA logo, Jerry East, West Coast, 14 time All
- 55:07Star Lenny Wilkinson's Hall of Fame as both the player and a
- 55:12coach. Doesn't get any better than
- 55:13that. Sam Satchel Sanders, eight time
- 55:17champion. I mean these all time great
- 55:21stats championships, they changed, they changed the guard
- 55:26for the 60s NBA area. Jerry West, what a legend.
- 55:31Without him we wouldn't even have the NBA logo.
- 55:34So I mean, how could you not? You guys are on the 60s draft
- 55:39crazy. I can't believe that flew over
- 55:41your head to be honest. Especially you, Speedy.
- 55:45Job I can understand but. Speedy.
- 55:46I surrender by technical. Goodness.
- 55:52I will say I Errol mentioned NBA Jam earlier my one of my
- 55:56favorites was the 94 draft because that was the rookies.
- 55:59In NBA Jam you get to play with Jason Kidd in Grant Hill.
- 56:03That was a great draft as well. You put in a code you could
- 56:05play. With Bill Clinton, too.
- 56:10What? Was the.
- 56:10Code that. Was the code like cigar or
- 56:13something like that? No, I think it was inside.
- 56:15Politics joke. Who are you emphasis on the
- 56:19inside, Errol. Who are you allowing to move on
- 56:24to the JOW Speedy? Oh, that's bullshit.
- 56:29And you want Zach to pick? The other one.
- 56:33Zach, who do you? Who else do you want?
- 56:34No, I'm going to. Take Tommy.
- 56:36I feel like it's. Kind of obvious, so.
- 56:40All right, so. Speedy.
- 56:42And Toddy, although. Goody, you did a fantastic job.
- 56:47Yeah, they don't want to get worked.
- 56:48Over. That's why you're just a.
- 56:50Great Googler. One of the best now entering
- 56:54into the next round, which is the joust.
- 56:59And in the joust, we have a new category.
- 57:02It's going to stay basketball. Here it is.
- 57:06Best rookie seasons in NBA history.
- 57:12So I want to know, it doesn't have to be a rookie of the year,
- 57:14that maybe there were two really good rookies one year or
- 57:16something like that, But the best rookie seasons anyone's
- 57:20ever had ever. I think this is a fun topic.
- 57:24Let's see who can do it on King of the Hill.
- 57:29Zach, who do you want to start? I want to hear Tommy first.
- 57:34All right, Tommy all. Right.
- 57:36Well, it's pretty simple. It's obviously going to be Magic
- 57:38Johnson for my number one right here.
- 57:40As a rookie, won the NBA championship, Finals MVP, was of
- 57:43course an All Star and was doing it really with an aging sort of
- 57:47Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Really was just such a stellar
- 57:50player, such a stellar guy. Average 18 points per game, 7.7
- 57:55and 7.3 and assists. It really can get better than
- 57:59that. One of the best point gets of
- 58:00all time. Give me Magic Johnson's rookie
- 58:02season. All right, Speedy.
- 58:06Yeah, I'm going to get a similar.
- 58:07Era and then go with Larry Bird on that one coming from a
- 58:09smaller school in Indiana State inheriting Self kind of early on
- 58:13that in that Celtics team in that 1978 NBA draft.
- 58:17Obviously they won the championship a couple of years
- 58:18later. So maybe not the success Magic
- 58:20had right away individually, but still transform himself before
- 58:24the three-point line too as one of the better shooters in the
- 58:27NBA kind of in that end of that piece.
- 58:28Pistol Pete era kind of started that.
- 58:30George Gervin, some other shooters that Larry Bird cement
- 58:32himself very easily that quickly. 22 names.
- 58:37Right off the top, let's go to Tommy.
- 58:40I'm going to go. With someone like Speed, so who
- 58:42cemented himself really early with the team, I'm going to go
- 58:45with someone like Tim Duncan who had a great rookie season.
- 58:48Tim Duncan was the rookie of the year, of course, all NBA and all
- 58:51defense four and an All Star as well too, just as a rookie, of
- 58:56course, didn't make a deep playoff run, had a pretty
- 58:58successful playoff run his rookie season.
- 59:01I'm pretty sure they got past the first round, ended up
- 59:03falling. I don't remember to who in the
- 59:04second, but also completely won the whole the whole thing.
- 59:08The next year they won the NBA championship the year right
- 59:11after. So like Speedy said, just
- 59:13submitted himself really as one of these key pieces as just a
- 59:16rookie. So give me some Duncan.
- 59:19All right, I'm going to go with. Shaq.
- 59:21Making its mark pretty quickly with the Orlando Magic.
- 59:24Obviously they lost in the Finals, but still instantly
- 59:27dominance as a big man coming in from LSU was.
- 59:29He was shattering backboards there and it didn't take long
- 59:31for him to do it very quickly in the NBA.
- 59:35Tommy, last one. I'm going to go with.
- 59:38Celtics legend Larry Bird. I did already.
- 59:40Oh, you did already? I did not.
- 59:41I took him after match after you.
- 59:43Took magic. I am going.
- 59:44To go with you, said I said Shaq.
- 59:48Let me actually do. Another guy for the Spurs, Let
- 59:52me do Mr. David Robinson, Rookie of the Year, All NBA, All
- 59:56Defense and an All Star as well too.
- 59:58Really submitted himself really early and was Do you remember
- 1:00:00his nickname? The David Robinson I do not
- 1:00:03know. You'll automatically lose.
- 1:00:06No, that was achieved. The fact that he was, it's
- 1:00:08where. He went to college.
- 1:00:10The Admiral? No, the Admiral.
- 1:00:12OK, well. Oops, maybe oops on my.
- 1:00:14Part but. Hey, was really great, great
- 1:00:18player to be really you know Errol how can?
- 1:00:21We allow in the move on. He doesn't know somebody that
- 1:00:24hasn't played since he was born. It's an automatic automatic.
- 1:00:29DQ whatever speedy go. Yeah.
- 1:00:33All right, I'll. I'll round it out with another
- 1:00:35another guy from that 80s era too.
- 1:00:37Made his instant impact. That'd be good with with.
- 1:00:40Dunking. Impact with leading a team that
- 1:00:42had some good talent around it but wasn't amazing.
- 1:00:44That was Doctor J top ten player of all time.
- 1:00:47Another guy that it was electric in that Larry Bird era just ran
- 1:00:50into a bus saw in the Eastern Conference in a couple years.
- 1:00:52But again, one of the only teams that beat the Lakers or the
- 1:00:56Celtics in the 80s. Like he had to rise his mark
- 1:00:58with a most. Malone was a good player but
- 1:00:59didn't really have the great depth around him, so Doctor J
- 1:01:02had to be one of those electric at that time.
- 1:01:06I I don't know how, no one. Said Cream.
- 1:01:08But I I thought that was pretty good rounds.
- 1:01:11Let's give this one to Zach. Both teams are really good.
- 1:01:15But I mean, I feel like Fish and Arrow already said that Tommy's
- 1:01:19eliminated because they he didn't know who the Admiral was.
- 1:01:22So I'm going to go with Speedy. All right?
- 1:01:24All right, so. Let's get everybody back in for
- 1:01:27the final round. We're going to get let's get
- 1:01:31everyone in and we're going to put the three competitors, the
- 1:01:34three Kings, 3 Kings Day. Maybe, maybe not, we'll see.
- 1:01:40But it's time for the final round and we will decide once
- 1:01:44and for all who is the king of the hill.
- 1:01:47Here we go Round 3 take. On the King.
- 1:01:53Speedy, you got 2 kings to knock off.
- 1:01:55Here's one of my favorite questions I've asked in this
- 1:01:57show. Best offensive moves in NBA
- 1:02:03history. Now I want you to not just say
- 1:02:06the move, but also who performed it.
- 1:02:09So you can't just say crossover. I want to know who's crossover.
- 1:02:13All right, it can't. Be like God sham God's
- 1:02:16crossover. All right, this is an easy one.
- 1:02:19All right, Well, actually. So here we go.
- 1:02:21Yeah, I'll. Start with let's start off with
- 1:02:25with Mr. Errol. There's so many.
- 1:02:28But it you can't, you can't, you can't shy away from the one of
- 1:02:32the greatest offensive players of all time, Kareem Abdul
- 1:02:36Jabbar. As we all know, the Skyhook, he
- 1:02:40redefined the Skyhook, won championships, won a national
- 1:02:44championship with it being Luau Al Cindar, Cindar whatever his
- 1:02:49last Lu Cinder, whatever his fucking name is, and then
- 1:02:53changed his name to Kareem Abdul Jabbar and then wins, wins
- 1:02:57championships from going a bit drafted by Milwaukee and then
- 1:03:01going to the Lakers and winning championships.
- 1:03:04I mean his skyhook really changed the game.
- 1:03:06Kareem Abdul Jabbar, you said Cinder.
- 1:03:08Like what, Cinder? Block Cinder, Lou Allison.
- 1:03:11There at least we know under the kingship of Errol there is
- 1:03:16definitely freedom of speech. So let's move on to King Zach.
- 1:03:24So I'm a go with the. Dream Shake by Hakeem Olajuwon.
- 1:03:28Just a series of pivots. Defenders left the days they
- 1:03:31don't know where he's going to go, what shoulder he's going to
- 1:03:33shoot over. So, and I mean, a lot of NBA
- 1:03:37players nowadays are asking for Hakeem's advice to get better at
- 1:03:40post news. So I'm going to go with the
- 1:03:42Dream shake from Hakeem Olajuwon, of course.
- 1:03:44All right, Speedy. For two, two, I'm going.
- 1:03:48To go definitely with the fade away with Dirk Nowitzki, the one
- 1:03:51leg, especially on the weak side leg, I would say is one of them.
- 1:03:55It's a very difficult shot. We've seen Kevin Durant probably
- 1:03:57take it to another level with his shooting, but Dirk was kind
- 1:03:59of the first one to do it like that.
- 1:04:01I wouldn't say awkwardly, but unconventional shooting motion
- 1:04:04and maybe we'll get it to work. So I think that's number one.
- 1:04:06And I'm going to say I'll go with the passing angle this
- 1:04:08time. We'll go with Magic Johnson kind
- 1:04:10of doing it with those, those side passes.
- 1:04:12I don't know if you you could call no look passes.
- 1:04:14I don't know if there's an exact term for it.
- 1:04:15I'll say no, look, pass. Yeah, I don't.
- 1:04:17I don't know what the Yeah, I don't know what.
- 1:04:19The exact term is, but kind of doing it from the side, the way
- 1:04:22he did it before anyone was really doing it.
- 1:04:24There were a lot of great point guards doing it at that time,
- 1:04:26but he was really the ticket to another level.
- 1:04:29All right, Zach. So I'm a go with.
- 1:04:33There's a lot to choose from, but I think I'm going to go with
- 1:04:36a ICE crossover. I mean, obviously the most
- 1:04:38famous one is him against Michael Jordan at the top of the
- 1:04:41key. That's just the most famous
- 1:04:43crossover ever. I don't think I've ever seen
- 1:04:45Michael Jordan get crossed other than that.
- 1:04:47I could be wrong. I haven't seen many.
- 1:04:49I mean, I've seen a lot of Michael Jordan clips, but like
- 1:04:51that's the most famous one that I could see.
- 1:04:53And obviously the crossover that he stepped over Tyron Leo, if
- 1:04:55you want to consider that a crossover.
- 1:04:58So I'm going to go with Allen Iverson and his ferocious
- 1:05:00crossover. All right, so.
- 1:05:03Errol, you have the last pick of this round, the first pick of
- 1:05:06the last round, So 2 picks. Errol, I I can't believe you
- 1:05:09guys didn't. Mention the greatest basketball
- 1:05:10player of all time, Michael Jordan's fadeaway.
- 1:05:13You you mentioned jerk Nowitzki. Where do you think Dirk learned
- 1:05:17the Michael Jordan fadeaway? Michael Jordan, his footwork,
- 1:05:21his ability to to to do the fadeaway anywhere on the
- 1:05:25basketball court. We seen him do it in.
- 1:05:27We seen him do it in the finals to get the point in the Trail
- 1:05:29Blazers at the three-point line. How do you think Kobe Bryant
- 1:05:33mimicked Michael Jordan's game by Michael Jordan's fadeaway
- 1:05:37jumper? Kobe Bryant redefined it in the
- 1:05:40OR the 2000, the early 2000. But Michael Jordans fadeaway
- 1:05:43jumper unbelievable, probably the most deadliest and that's
- 1:05:48why he was the most deadliest player in NBA history.
- 1:05:50I don't care what anybody says. And your other one.
- 1:05:53Errol Well, I mentioned Colby. But I said that, so I'm I'm
- 1:05:58going to go, I'm going to go with George Gervin's finger
- 1:06:00roll. He brought the finger.
- 1:06:02Yes, I'm going to go with George Gervin's finger roll.
- 1:06:05He brought the finger roll to the NBA.
- 1:06:07He redefined the word finger roll.
- 1:06:09And he did it in how many he did it on how many teams.
- 1:06:13It wasn't just, it wasn't just the team that drafted him.
- 1:06:16He was he, he played for multiple NBA teams and he
- 1:06:19redefined the finger rolls off. I'm going to go with George
- 1:06:21Gervin. All right, Zach.
- 1:06:26So I'm probably going to go with.
- 1:06:28At least for me, the most famous reverse layup of all time,
- 1:06:32Doctor J's baseline reverse layup underneath the basket
- 1:06:35where he just reaches around and scores their layup.
- 1:06:38It was actually absolutely insane.
- 1:06:40I mean, I see a lot of NBA players do it, like Kyrie Irving
- 1:06:43and all these other players, but nothing can beat the original.
- 1:06:46So I'm going to go with Doctor J's reverse layup for sure.
- 1:06:48You know, he wasn't the first person to do.
- 1:06:49That right? What he's saying like the.
- 1:06:54Scoop. Yeah, the scoop.
- 1:06:57Yeah, yeah, he wasn't the 1st all.
- 1:06:58Right. Speedy Yeah, that was the one.
- 1:07:00I was literally just. Going to take that one next.
- 1:07:02So I'll go with I know I've said this before, but I'll go with I
- 1:07:05know Shaq had some like spinning dunks tornado, the black
- 1:07:08tornado. He called it the Black.
- 1:07:09I know the name of him, but I've seen him do it.
- 1:07:11Obviously when he was a younger player with Orlando especially,
- 1:07:13but then even higher to an extent with the Lakers too.
- 1:07:16So yeah, I definitely go for an inside game.
- 1:07:18It's pretty hard to do that. Very cool so.
- 1:07:23We're going to vote on this. The one that I didn't hear, that
- 1:07:26I probably would have included that we don't think about a lot.
- 1:07:30One of the most influential moves of all time was managing
- 1:07:32Nobley's euro step. I think everybody does that now.
- 1:07:36I think it's a really great yeah.
- 1:07:37James Harden doesn't get away with.
- 1:07:38Travel the James Harden step back.
- 1:07:42That way, what should be mentioned?
- 1:07:44Because of how it's. Taken over the game, but those
- 1:07:47are those are the other two that I was thinking of.
- 1:07:48I'm going to go. I think it's really close
- 1:07:52between Errol and Zach. My rear end is burning.
- 1:07:55Better choices. I'm not a fan of the Dirk one.
- 1:07:58I do like the magic no look past though.
- 1:08:00I'm going to go with Errol just because I don't think you can
- 1:08:04Dodger the first. Two that.
- 1:08:06He said even with the dream shake, the skyhook was literally
- 1:08:09unstoppable and Jordan was literally unstoppable and and
- 1:08:14the Iceman finger roll is an iconic move.
- 1:08:16So I'm going to go with Errol. Yeah, I'm Tommy.
- 1:08:18This. Was fish you couldn't.
- 1:08:20Said it any better out of my mouth.
- 1:08:22OK, Hey. Roger Goodell, let's see you
- 1:08:25makes the owners. Happy.
- 1:08:27Collusion between these two goody will you let?
- 1:08:30Me speak collusion. Anyways.
- 1:08:33Basically, the fact is is of Kareem and Michael Jordan, the
- 1:08:37two most highest scores by two and three, of course LeBron of
- 1:08:40course took this title away. But at 2:00 and 3:00, the
- 1:08:43highest scores like nobody of course was putting more points
- 1:08:46upon the board. I do really like of course X
- 1:08:48picks, you know, Doctor JAIS crossover, some of the best that
- 1:08:52we've ever seen. But just considering how many
- 1:08:54points that these two guys offensively put on the board,
- 1:08:57minus about how of course great that they were, but with these
- 1:09:00unstoppable moves, I have to say it's got to be, it's got to be
- 1:09:03Errol me for. This one and goody it's.
- 1:09:07Already clinched for Errol, but what's your vote here?
- 1:09:11Let's move on. All right.
- 1:09:13We don't even need to count the votes, guys.
- 1:09:16Tonight's winner and retaking his crown officially now, King
- 1:09:22Errol Marx. All right, King, I will.
- 1:09:25I wanted to do. Zach, do you know who the first
- 1:09:27person to do that dunk? The the 1st.
- 1:09:31Layup The first layup for Doctor.
- 1:09:33I'm gonna guess cuz. There's drills about it.
- 1:09:37Miken is it what's his first name?
- 1:09:39I don't name George Miken yeah. Is it George Miken?
- 1:09:42Cuz there's there's it was baseline drills that you do for
- 1:09:46those George Miken plays. Yes, yes, say it nice true.
- 1:09:51Story. I'm proud.
- 1:09:52That I got that as a teacher. When I teach history, whenever
- 1:09:55they're like, why is it name this?
- 1:09:57My answer is it was somebody's name.
- 1:09:59They named it after him. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:10:00It's almost always the reason. Almost always the reason.
- 1:10:03Guys, another great episode of King of the Hill.
- 1:10:06Next week, Errol will be the reigning king.
- 1:10:08Oh, how wonderful. All right.
- 1:10:10Are we going to do well? Let's parlay.
- 1:10:11It doesn't look like it doesn't look like they're coming.
- 1:10:13Johnny, we've. Got a we've?
- 1:10:14Got a sports minute and then we'll just get into the inside
- 1:10:17baseball. Let's parlay.
- 1:10:19Stuff. And then right into baseball.
- 1:10:20So I'll just say Wes is a read. Off you want to read them.
- 1:10:22I'm just going to read Wes's picks, one of them.
- 1:10:24Is live right now. I mentioned in the comments
- 1:10:25section before he had Winnipeg -9 there right now, Tide 2323,
- 1:10:29so maybe some live betting odds against the Edmonton Elks at
- 1:10:33home tomorrow 7:30 he's got Montreal on the road, the
- 1:10:36Alouettes covering -2 at the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
- 1:10:40He's got Sunday 7:00 in Toronto covering plus 2 1/2 on the road.
- 1:10:45A lot of hot ladies against. The Ottawa red blacks I need.
- 1:10:48Brittany also on. Saturday 7.
- 1:10:50O'clock -3 1/2 at home, Saskatchewan covering.
- 1:10:54Against. Beast, do you want to jerk me
- 1:10:56off? I have no idea what speedy.
- 1:11:01Said Yum Yum. All right.
- 1:11:03Canadian football scores, by the way, out of your feet.
- 1:11:07I did bet with Wes on his Canadian football last time he
- 1:11:11did it and I won all my bets. Yeah, Wes is always started.
- 1:11:14He started ball this season for the CFL.
- 1:11:17Yeah, I, I, I bet. With him for three of them.
- 1:11:19And I was right. I got 3 for three.
- 1:11:20Yeah, let's see. We'll see if there's.
- 1:11:22Winnipeg One There's still time in the fourth quarter for them
- 1:11:23to run away with the game. My dog, one team.
- 1:11:26They're the much better team. He called them the.
- 1:11:27Chiefs of the of the CFL. Play with my pickle still.
- 1:11:31Plenty of time. That's highway.
- 1:11:32Where's panties from Wes? Congratulations to.
- 1:11:35Mr. Goody as he is doing his first Guardian postgame and

- 1:11:46So he'll be doing a couple of those this coming season with
- 1:11:49Colorado and all the other games that he's going to be doing
- 1:11:52with. So congratulations to our boy
- 1:11:54Nick Goody Tell. Andre not.
- 1:11:56He can suck it. I will.
- 1:12:00I love him by the way. He's the.
- 1:12:01Best. I love him too.
- 1:12:03I'll. Tell him he's awesome.
- 1:12:05Again, thank you. Thank you to TJ Ward.
- 1:12:07He was. Fantastic for the time that he

- 1:13:35That'll be fun. He's actually, he's the Cowboys
- 1:13:38play by play guy on the radio. He is.
- 1:13:40He is honest to, he's the honest, most honest person when
- 1:13:44it comes to Cowboys football. So he's not going to beat around
- 1:13:47the Bush with the Cowboys. And I'm sure he has his thoughts
- 1:13:50to the organization and what they did at this year's draft,
- 1:13:53which everybody thinks they had a good draft.
- 1:13:55I thought they did, actually, yeah.
