2 Corinthians 1:1,11 -Trusting In God- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2024-12-29

Calvary Chapel Bremerton - Sunday Service · Jan 4, 2025 · 1h 26m

Pastor Rick Beaudry preaches from 2 Corinthians 1:1,11, using Paul’s sufferings and ministry to call us to trust God through trials. He portrays God as sovereign, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort who uses hardship to mature us and enable us to comfort others. Beaudry contrasts this biblical view with prosperity and false-prophet teachings, points to Paul’s thorn in the flesh and the sufficiency of God’s grace, and urges us to persevere, find contentment in Christ, and rely on the Holy Spirit.
