Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football freeze, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographical location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a state of being.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's the mile-high hotel podcast on your host, Chad Jensen with me.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: My fellow football priest, you know, I'm you love him.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Kelberman Zach Albert Brear reported today.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: I want to get your thoughts on this that the Broncos were kind of in on the whole Dallas gotters.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's only in in the sense that they were monitoring it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: They were interested if they weren't able to kick the deadline back and he hit free agency.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: They were
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: interested in pursuing and let's put it that that way does that mean they were going to go to any length to compete to get him I don't know but in that same message he just kind of observed did bring on by the way since the Broncos were kind of monitoring the tight end market David and Joku still available what do you make it up
- 1:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't know how much more I could say tonight that I haven't said the last like four or five shows.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos should go out and sign David and Joe Goop, but then I saw some report that they answered free agency chat with a hard cap of what they're going to spend that each position.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_03]: So they weren't going to go above 10 million at running back.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_03]: They weren't going to go above 6 million at tight end.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_03]: And they gave that already to Adam Troutman.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_03]: So logic would dictate they're not going to spend that on somebody else.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_03]: From our perspective zero interest in bringing in an outside for agent.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's day what now seven and still nothing Who said that who who reported that the data heart?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_03]: I could find I think it was Luka evidence from the Denver Post Interesting, all right.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: We'll file that one away for a minute, but I mean, there's there's got to be some reasons to explain the inexplicable.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know that doesn't make any sense, but nevertheless
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: something has to explain how things have gone, but David and Jocos still out there and I wrote it up because Albert Brear basically linked it in an article.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't exactly say the Broncos are interested about him like, you know what we're going to talk about this, anything to keep the conversation going, but Zach in the very same article and I'll say it now.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: I wrote that look
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: You could have, they could have brought back Zack, Nate Adkins, Lucas Crow, whatever.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they could have even brought back Adam Trauma, but, but bring in Trauma back three years, not just the term, but 17 million guaranteeing nine and a half of it.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, and then also knowing what's on the books for Evan Ingraham, you really see him going out and spending on another tight end.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, clearly Zack, there must be some truth to what Evan's is reporting from the Denver Post, because
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they haven't done anything at receiver either.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they've done nothing at running back except, of course, bring back JK.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think if the Broncos wanted Nijoku or any other player, they would have signed them by now.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they're waiting for Nijoku's price to come down.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to come down all that much.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's a starting caliber tight end in the NFL.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to get starting caliber money.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos don't seem interested in showing out any sort of money.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_03]: And even if Evan's reporting is true, and I have no reason to doubt him.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_03]: He's been a great addition to the beat.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_03]: Why would there be a hard cap?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_03]: as to what they can spend.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: After shedding the Russell Wilson contract, being in the Super Bowl window, being on Bonix's rookie deal, having $20 plus million dollars in available salary cap room, and then restructuring Quinn miners and getting another what 8 to 10, and then Jonathan Cooper on top of that, why would there be a hard cap all of the sudden after the last off season, Shabby name were more bound by the Russell Wilson dead money, they were more active in
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: It really doesn't, because while they are setting hard caps, while they are seemingly making decisions for future comp picks, they are kind of sacrificing the present, so to speak, right?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: You've got this window of time where you're in a competitive,
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it's fair now after they made it to the AFC title game to say the Broncos are now in a super bowl competitive window and yet it's going to become exceedingly more difficult to keep that window open.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: After let's just say 2027 because then bone nicks pretty soon somewhere in that area you're going to have to pay bone nicks and when bone nicks Zack is consuming, I mean, who knows we'll see what it ends up being what upwards of somewhere between 40 and 50 something million dollars per year on your cap, you know, then that's when you're real position caps come into play so I mean the only thing I could figure is that.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: They're preparing for that kind of life with bone nicks by making it, but it still doesn't add up.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to be doing that quite yet.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mentioned that billionaires become billionaires by pinching pennies.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not accusing the penners and the Walons of doing that because they've spent millions on millions of proving the broadcasts since they've been here.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's just so strange that with all of the sudden become cheap, Chad, the family behind great value, all of a sudden doesn't want to shop at the luxury section.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: They want to shop at the clearance rack.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't make sense.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_03]: you saw like you will always talk about I always talk about what was the difference in the AFC championship game.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you had your backup quarterback, but the skill positions and the lack of help that stood him was getting or the lack of help even before that that bone X was getting was evident and to do nothing and sit on your hands and let another year potentially if your franchise quarterback go to waste is in negligence at this point from the Broncos front office.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: And it would be one thing if you were cap strapped, right?
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: Exact, first of all, we know they're not cap strapped.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about that here in a second.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: And we know that they're not cash poor.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: They had the wealthiest owners in the NFL that can do literally whatever they want financially.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: And from a cash perspective.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so you look at what the Broncos have right now, Zach.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pulling this up on my phone.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: According to over the cap, they're sitting at 22 million in effective cap space.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now,
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: Not only have they signed a lot of players, this factors everything up to this point, but they also restructured to, and they released drag green law, freeing up some caps, but we want to say, eight to 10 million of that, 22 million Zach, you got a earmark to sign the draft class in about two months, at real time, month and a half, whatever.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: At some point this summer have a mall sign, but that still leaves you more than enough to still go out there and make some move.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: So what continue talking about it?
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: is now holding their breath that David and Joku is suddenly going to be signed, but we'll see what happens.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: Papa bears in the house.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you, brother.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: A dear member, bonafide, Mount Rushmore superstar.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Every single night, he's, like, 360's back out of 365 nights a year.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we don't, you and I stream that many nights a year.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: But at MHH, we do.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's the first comment.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: First super chat I should say in the chat.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Love you, big dog.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: He says, good evening, Broncos Country.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: Hashtag God bless the USA.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: We need it right now.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's for sure.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: And let's go, Beau.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Papa Bear.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: Really good to see you.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: We also got Jettie Splash, checking in.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: Another dear member, appreciate you.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: All of our members and super stars, I mean, this time of year again, guys, like it's always important, but especially this time of year, it you really are contributing to helping us keep the lights on at MHH.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: on the online is it is it there to be had from the tight end market priests can you tell us you rock well Zack and I are your football priests and we're always here to offer you the absolution and the answers to your burning broncos questions and I think we already inadvertently jetty answered that question for you are there guys out there that could probably still help you there's for sure one David and joku and you know there's even john and smith who might not be that
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: dominant why in line blocker guy, but you know as a move blocker and F guy you get him in motion on the move to crack and edge or some you can do that stuff better than than Evan Ingraham anyway, but Zach David and Joku.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's one thing I'm going to throw out there by way of a sliver of hope.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Luca Evans reporting that I'm looking at the tweet you shared it with me.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the one thing though that gives me a sliver of hope is the longer
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: a free agent will say languishes on the market.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the cheaper they probably become.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: And in joke use case, Zach, he obviously wants to make some money.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: But I got to assume that one of the reasons he said, I'm leaving Cleveland this time around is after all those years.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's been there since 2017, not really winning.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think they had one or maybe one winning season over that span.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to play for a chance, Zach, at a Super Bowl.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos are one of those kind of teams.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I don't think Nejoku is going to reset the tight end market with his next contract, but he's not going to get a $1 million contract for one year either.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: He's not going to get veteran minimum.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what I feel like the Broncos were banking on, Chad.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_03]: They're banking on the fact that these free agents are going to want to play for the Broncos and play for Sean Payton, play with Bonyx so badly that they'll leave millions on this table.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, to have a hard cap of $10 million of running back when the best running backs were well above
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: and to go in to for agency with that mindset.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: That's bad enough.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's one thing to read the market when Walker's gonna get about 15 and say, okay, I'm out.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: But to go into free agency with that mindset is completely antithetical to what I thought the Broncos were gonna do.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember us fielding questions as we grab Sam here before free agency and like during the regular season and especially toward the end when you know start kind of at least looking ahead a little bit hey do you think the Broncos are now in a position where you know free agents is a destination team now and it's like what a joke that is in hindsight not because they're not but because it doesn't appear the Broncos are trying to leverage that as any kind of
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: sales tool to woo and land free agent sandbam brother talk about your members thank you the generous super chat seen even in guys we still have made no outside free agent signings what do you think is the reason for it waiting for the price tag to drop no legit interest in any of these free agents or is it something else or guardless I trust George Peyton and Shomping go Broncos
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: I do as well, as much as it still kind of irks me.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's one of the things with faith.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: You have to believe without seeing, right?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: So in this case, you have to believe that they know what they're doing.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: If you have faith in them, you have to kind of believe without evidence that they've got a vision and a plan that is probably trustworthy.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what could that be?
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: What is the reason?
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: Zach, I think there are a few factors playing into this.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: one of them and I'll let you share what at however many you would like, but one of them we just kind of, I learned about tonight just barely from the Luca Evans report that the Broncos had some kind of a position cap limit on what they were willing to spend per position.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: What is the reason for that?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're going down rabbit holes, right?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it really comes down to for some reason this time around they're really trying to protect
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: in line to get from John Franklin Myers and PJ Lock, but there's got to be way more to that, Zach, because almost every year they're in line for something, it didn't stop them from bringing in Drake Greenlaw, Talonoh, who finally left here, you know, Avenue, and Grim, et cetera.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: I, I also think it's a little coincidental, maybe two coincidental when this Luka Evans information came out.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_03]: So a week after frequency began, when everyone's up in arms about the Brock is not doing anything and speculating as to why then Evans comes out and says, oh, by the way, they had a hard cab all along the richest ownership group in the league.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_03]: has a hard cap in this Super Bowl window.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't pass the smell test to me.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: None of this does.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: And again, there's not much more I could say, Sam, that I haven't said the last four or five podcast and shows.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to become too conspiratorial.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to say that Sean Payton is sabotaging bone-nixer or Davis Webb.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's the case.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: But it's a little strange.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying they need to go out there and approach the offseason like mad in like a video game.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: That was always unrealistic, but to not sign wall and player, I've been saying this all along.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: Not one guy, not a swing tackle, not a backup.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_03]: Anyone out from the outside, not one player.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't it smells to me Chad very badly.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so unprecedented that it's it's hard to
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to really try and grasp it.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why it might be and feel super confident that you're on to something and one of the frustrating aspects is we know here, Sam.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos are about to go out and announce to anybody what their vision is, right?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's part of the competitive thing is they got a trade craft, whatever they got to keep.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: What they're trying to do behind seeing this, the Broncos thing, they're not gonna go talk about it.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now, at some point, they will be asked about it.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: They will have to face the music.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: the cookie crumbles between now and the draft, and they literally sign not one outside free agent.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: There will be
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: I got to believe Zach, a litany of questions that will be volleyed at them, you know, oh, here's our first round pick, you know, it's whoever it's, you know, Casey conception who now has a neat thing.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: We'll we'll talk about that later.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: But no one's going to be that interested in hearing from Casey.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: They want to know why the heck you guys defied your, you know, NFL convention of which you've participated
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: For time immemorial, you chose not to sign an outside free agent.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're the only team.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's unprecedented.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: Will they spill the beans then?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Probably not, but you got to make turn the screws a little bit.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's what I was going to say too.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's only a matter of time.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they're not going to go the whole calendar year without signing another free agent.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to happen eventually, but the question will always remain, what took you guys so long?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: Why did you sit on your hands?
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: Why weren't you more aggressive in getting an offensive weapon or helping out Bonyx?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: So you're right, Chad, what they could sign one today and or tomorrow and they're still going to face that question after Dr. After Sooner, why did you wait so long?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: Sam will continue obviously talking about this this issue tonight.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: So we're definitely not done addressing the crux of your super chat and your questions, brother.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you for the support.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we love you and appreciate you.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: Mount Rushmore in the hisi guys before we go any further.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: They'll listen up what's that time of year.

- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, Zach, really quick here.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's just worth noting, like the Broncos when it comes to the cap space thing.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even with 22 million, they rank 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: 21st in the NFL in cap space.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know who has the most cap space currently right now?
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: Just take a while, guess.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_03]: They're a raider still or no?
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's the chargers with 62 million.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, commanders are barely just behind him with 61 million and then there's a little bit of a gap to the titan.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: At some point, you got to expect those, the chargers are going to start spending that money, too.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: We got the Duchess in the house, Michaela Parker checking and talking about Mount Rushmore, talk about legendary status.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: And she's been as mystified as everybody else through the last week or so going through the roller coaster of emotions.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see what's on her mind.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Love you Michaela, she says, Ben, so quiet can't stand it, L.O.L.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: Any idea if we're going to make any moves?
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: Taking all the joy out of free agency.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: I know all the joy and that's the thing is like
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Payton would say, especially behind closed doors so what, but, you know, like you got to think at some point, some of those considerations were coming to play, but, I mean, then again, they don't do it, Zach.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: They don't go out and sign the player per se, except for maybe some of the desperate teams bottom of the barrel.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make a splash and try and get our season ticket holders, you know, or more ticket sold or whatever.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: There are some of those kind of considerations that come into play for the real bottom of the barrel teams, but,
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: You don't necessarily want your team's act, making decisions based on trying to play Kate and excite the fans.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, it's like, why is this, like she's saying, why is this happening?
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, taking all the joy out of it.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's inadvertent, Zach, I can assure you, Sean Payton is taking some kind of pleasure in it, even if it's secondary.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_03]: Well, first of all, Michaela, thank you as always.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_03]: I hate to see you down.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_03]: But I can't disagree with what you're saying that there's no joy and free agency.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_03]: It seems like we just skipped that whole process and we're going right to the draft.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a tough situation to deal with because we were promised the brokers would be aggressive and they've been anything but that.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_03]: So many people, and I'm not saying you, but so many people are fixated on one word the last week, and that's signed, when another word is more pressured here, and that's acquired.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_03]: Because it's not just the players, the brocos can sign as free agents.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_03]: They could have also traded for a player.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_03]: They wanted to add to the offense or the defense for that matter, and they haven't done anything.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_03]: They haven't brought anyone in from the outside, and it's more than just a pattern now.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_03]: There's a reason for this and what the reason is, whether there's something behind the scenes, whether it's because of the convict, whether it's because they had a hard cappa as to what they could spend.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know, but there's a reason.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_03]: This is not just random, it's not just coincidental, but I agree, there's no joy in any of it.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it does make sense and bringing it back to Zach you've mentioned it several times since last Monday how George Peyton talked about being aggressive and all that so I went and found one of the quotes that he was kind of doubling down on it because he said it initially in January in their end of season presser.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: Then at the combine, he said, quote, I think I said it in January that we are going to be urgent and aggressive in our approach with no stone unturned.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: We are looking at everything, then yet you have to be measured and selective and make the right decisions.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: You can't just go crazy because you became three points from the Super Bowl.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be aggressive in that approach, but really measured and tried to make sound decisions
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I think we can officially now say Zack that George Peyton is in fact a practitioner of GM speak.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think he was being too measured and being too conservative.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_03]: He could check it on every deal like he's been doing reportedly.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know about everyone, but I've heard a few, but to not close any of them to bow out because a player might be a million or two more expensive.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: It just, it does more harm to your team than good.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's good general managing.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a fan of George Peyton, Chad.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: He's brought a lot to the table to the Brockles front office, but this offseason so far has been a black mark to me.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you look at it, it's, you know, it's just like when you're trying to go on a diet, right?
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: You got to create a calorie deficit for your body to start burning up some of that fat hanging on to you.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: And right now, Zach, when you look at the Broncos as a from a personnel perspective, since free agency started, since we'll just call it the offseason.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: the newly gear, they're in a personnel slash talent deficit because while they brought back 17, I think is what the number is of their own free agents through recindings and tenders.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: They lost two, we'll just call them starting caliber guys in John Franklin Myers, PJ Locke, then they released Dre Greenlaw.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: not only have they not let's say none of them both those guys came back and they didn't really straight green law well and then you'd be able to say they haven't gotten better and that would be frustrating enough as it is because we know as good as their roster was last season they had its imperfections but not only is that the truth as we speak today but you can argue not even argue it's a fact they've gotten worse.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: And every other team in the division, by the way, has gotten better.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: Can't to city, the raiders, the chargers, the chargers haven't done much, but they've improved the offensive line.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: At least they show them they're willing to spend a little bit to help out their quarterback to help out the team.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_03]: To do nothing, Chad, again, is a dereliction of duty from the Broncos front office and Sean Pete.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: Michaela my last word for you real quick is all we can do at this stage.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: My dear dear friend is try to stay as patient as possible and despite the Broncos Sean Peyton sucking all the joy out of this little window on the NFL calendar that we all look forward to so much and and treasure
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: got to buy in a little bit as my advice, only because Sean Peyton and company have yet to steer us wrong, right?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: As as Broncos country, he's done nothing but produce.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Even year one came in with Russ.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I couldn't quite make it work with Russ, but he was too Russell Wilson implosions away from a 10 win season in a wild card in year one.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: And even still Zach finishing with eight wins, improved
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Then he has the cahones or like my part here likes to say the cash shoes to say bench Russ and then cut Russ gets bonus the rest of history 24 wins play up with so I have faith It's just I wish I could I wish they could do something that's smack of
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: reason and logic right now.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: We're in such uncharted waters that it just seems almost schizophrenic.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: So being asked or being told or someone saying, trust the process, we're so far out there right now that it's that hard for a lot of people to do because it feels like dereliction of duty.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: George Fox, so keep your chin up though, Michaela.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you keep your chin
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: George Fox says I'm hoping that no movement means the Broncos are looking for a big trade before the draft.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos for live image age for live hit the thumbs up guys.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you George for checking in big dog.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's always great to see you.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: Zack that remained you used the word a few moments ago.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Don't think so much in terms of signing but acquiring and there are still potentially some targets out there including water potentially who what is what I read about him talking about Patrick's or
- 24:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it was like a celebrity boxing match because there was one that was taking place over the weekend and he was asked about potentially boxing his former Alabama teammate and he said I would beat his ass or whatever he said so I don't know if that's going to come to fruition.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_03]: That is the number one receiver.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of Barack's fans have pounded the table for, and he would fit perfectly in a Sean Payton system as the compliment to Portland Sun.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: Because right now, really quickly, all we have, speaking of big trade, is AJ Brown.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: That's the big name.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know if AJ Brown and Portland Sun is it would be an upgrade, I guess, on paper, but two of the same type of receiver.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm hoping the Broncos have a little more dynamism in place at the position.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: The only, like, consolation to me and get an AJ Brown is I do believe it would.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: not allow opponents to double-court and Sutton as much as they like to do.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, that's the way it even out the numbers a little bit for Bonix and the receivers, and hopefully lead to better efficiency, more explosive play.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, they do check so many of the same boxes.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Leampie, dude, what's up?
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see one of our OG Facebook supporters and good friends, checking in saying, not signing free agents works.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: 60% of the time it works every time right I think that's what he's trying to say here trying to you know put some levity into the conversation all call it gallows humor
- 25:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you said something a minute ago, I wanted a touch on about trusting the process.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_03]: And you're right, that Sean Peyton deserves the benefit of the Dow and George Peyton for that matter, as well, for what they've done.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_03]: But it's one thing to believe and have faith.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's another thing to blindly believe and close your eyes and ears off to everything else and acts like a cult and co-sign everything the Broncos are doing.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_03]: If you think the Broncos have stayed the same or got better, I mean, you're gotten better, at least.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to argue how, where?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's literally returning the same team as 2025, and yeah, I know that team went to the AFC title game, but there were words all up and down the roster that the Broncos have done nothing to address.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_03]: You can have faith, and your faith can be shaken.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: Don't give up the faith, but it's okay to question sometimes why it's being shaken.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: And right now, the Broncos shed aren't giving us anything to make us more makers believers.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll speak for myself when it comes to faith.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot have faith without questioning my faith.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like I have to, exactly.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Question why I believe something, all right?
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not just talking about spiritual matters, but anything, all right?
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: You got a question that Oriol believe in nothing.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: And DJ Capos checking in from New Orleans saying, what's up Broncos' family?
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I can see is players we least expect to stay will get traded on draft night.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: And after the draft, Zach, I feel you 100% Broncos for life.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, DJ.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I'm saying anything.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's breaking news.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: Chad feels the same way.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone in broadcast country feels the same way.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's inexplicable.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's unexplainable as to what Denver is doing with the free agent process.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm sure in hindsight, we'll know the reason in a couple months and when the draft is over, it'll all be crystal clear.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_03]: But right now, it's not two months from now.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: Right now, it's not post draft.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_03]: Right now, we're being kept in the dark.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_03]: And like Chad said, it's totally unprecedented.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_03]: What's going on right now?
- 27:47[SPEAKER_03]: to be the only team in the NFL that's not signed an external free agent more than a week into the process.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_03]: I've never seen before and I damn sure didn't expect the Broncos to be doing it this year.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's bizarre.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's got a Saul scratching our heads and we're going to continue talking about it.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: And who knows, maybe you're right, DJ, that there's some...
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: some trades coming down the pike and maybe we won't see them materialized until around the draft.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've seen multiple trades with George Peyton as the GM take place around the draft.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's a common occurrence.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously around the NFL.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, heck, that's where John Franklin Myers came into the mile high city was a draft day trade.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you, brother.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: But thank you for checking in on Super Chat.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's always great to see you guys much more to get to, including Tucson Phil here in just a moment, but listen up real quick guys.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: When we first started the MHH merch store back in 2019, we weren't sure whether it was the right decision.

- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right, back to the conversation, we go from the top rope.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: We got DDo, checking in.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm very curious to see what some of his thoughts are through these unprecedented waters we all find ourselves in.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: Those of us in the Broncos ship, great to see you.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: They all love you, Big Dog.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: He says, can't see George Pickins playing on the franchise tag.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting paid less than Pierce.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: who is the third worst wide receiver in the league at getting open.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Pickins sends a diva aspect.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: Couldn't be argued as wide receiver one in the whole league.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: So you take away in other words as diva kind of personality.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: You can argue he's the number one receiver in the league.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: Would we give our number 30 overall pick and next year's number 32 because we go and win the dat gum Super Bowl.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: Next year for him, what do you think, Zach?
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: Would you swing that big for the fences?
- 31:07[SPEAKER_03]: It was for Justin Jefferson or Jamar Chase, I would do it no questions as he'd have been.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: And those are the receivers I really would put above pick.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: And he's a great, great talent.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't Pittsburgh.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't Dallas last season.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_03]: He's a great receiver.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_03]: And Carrot took a concern to side.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_03]: What he does on the field is tremendous.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: But I just, that's a little too rich for my blood.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_03]: Two first round picks.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_03]: Even though that number 30, he was basically like a second round pick.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: Then you're paying him a big contract on top of that.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like you can get another receiver for a little cheaper than George Pickins.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: So Mr. Producer provided in this real quick, the worst wide receivers at getting open last year, this is according to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football, which is like an analytics type site.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: And this is, you know, they gotta have at least 30 targets last season to qualify.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: But the worst receivers at getting open last season, just for fun.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Dotson and Philly, Thornton and K.C.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Tolbert and Dallas, Alec Pierce, who Dale's mentioned in there, a Marquez Valdez scantling and Pittsburgh, Devon Valle, our old friend in New Orleans, Amica Agbuca, which is interesting, Zach, because we know the Broncos were planning on drafting him.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: before he was taken off the board and then Isaiah Bond and Cleveland.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: So that's apparently actually per ESPN's player tracking data on all routes run.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's not there here nor there, but it's very interesting.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of deep threats that are on that list is kind of the point here.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I got to tell you D. Dubbed for me.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: Man, it's a really tough decision, but I got to agree with my part if you're going to give up a couple of first rounders.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: I feel a lot more comfortable doing so for a receiver that did not have the culture concerns like pickings and maybe if you plug them into a legit contender like Denver with a really solid foundation of, you know, camaraderie and sacrifice and that winning culture that it could rub off on him but
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: Best predictor of future behavior is past behavior and even Terrell Owens that you know he would go from one place to the other and there was a point where you it looked like He was going to kind of keep his mind is peasing cues, I guess, as a way to put it, but he could just never help himself from from being T.O.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, d dub very good questions as always.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather thank you so much for the support.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: Love you.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: To song Phil checking in also saying good evening Chad Zach and Deacon Scott at this point.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: They better make a trade that shocks the world and more than one player.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, I'm really disappointed.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome and make you for life.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos for life.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, honestly, Zach, there's really only one free agent out there.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: that would give me kind of for lack of a better term that kind of blockbuster feeling.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we just know it's not gonna happen.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do we know it?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: No, it may be not, but like utilizing reason and logic and what we learned earlier about.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: What Evan's talked about at the Denver Post, the position caps and all that, it's not going to happen, but Zach a trade there's there's several potential things out there just remember fill and this and Dale and everybody else out there when you trade for a player, yeah, you get that player and he might be he.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: better be damn good right you that's why you're doing it but then it comes at the cost and what's the cost you're giving up future draft capital and in some of these instances all of the instances actually you're absorbing your either absorbing Zach an already existing mega contract or you know to make him fill the love you're extending him right out of the gates and spending money anyway but at least if you do it that way Zach yeah you're giving up the capital
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: But you're guaranteeing you get your guy that you wanted.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: You're not necessarily trying to compete with this team or that team and the player chooses this team.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're trading for a guy.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_03]: I agree Phil.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what to tell you though.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think you and me and a lot of other Brocos fans and media and everyone are prepared to be disappointed.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: Even if they do swing a trade, which right now looks like super Unlikely have the better chance of winning the lottery.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_03]: It seems I don't think they're going to swing two trades.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_03]: I think one would be the limit here.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_03]: And hopefully if they do swing and I want them to they swing for the fences.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_03]: Don't settle for
- 35:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like I mentioned, I saw someone in the comments like Zay Jones and Rashad Bateman, a low lower level receiver.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_03]: If you're going to make a trade for a receiver, make it a jail and model, model, make it a Garrett Wilson.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_03]: Chris, I love a Yada Yada.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I hope the Broncos would do.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_03]: Whether they'll do it though, or means to be seen.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: that it does.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: We got Seth Harman checking in what's going on big dog great to see he says I'm okay without signing anyone.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: There will be young players that improve.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think they just couldn't get a contract they liked.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Sean is.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Is that helped me here?
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if he's insinuating the brokers taking on cap from the trade for Peyton.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I'm
- 36:09[SPEAKER_03]: clear.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not sure Seth elucidate that last little point.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: You're after your final comma there, but look, I'm okay.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: I can live with it too at the end of the day because I don't have a choice.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it is the smartest thing when there are opportunities.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: You have the money and there are opportunities for you to improve the roster.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: Why in the hell are you not doing it?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: There's, I mean, seriously, why is there a good reason under the sun?
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, give me one.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Play devil devil's advocate, Zach, and give me one good reason why.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the only thing I can think of not to put you on the spot, but the only thing I can think of is I'm not giving you a reason, per se, here.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: But it's that I just believe all so strongly in the guys we got.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: And not only the guys we got, but our ability as a team and as a coaching staff to continue developing them to take bigger and bigger turns around the corner in 2026 is that a reason I guess it's a reason, but it's it's more of an explanation, but it's not really reason.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got to do that every year.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: You got to continue developing your guys, but Zach, right now what they're doing, like let's just keep it at wide receiver for a moment here.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: What they're doing is they're betting, they're relying on Troy Franklin.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims Jr.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: Collectively, which is a stretch, and then also at the same time, which is another stretch, because everybody turns when they turn a corner and they do a people develop, it's a different rate.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: At the same time, these are low probability things.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now, maybe one of them takes a massive gigantic leap, but
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: even then you got to look at who these guys are and you got to measure and kind of gauge the probability of it happening.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the best case scenario is Troy Franklin catches, you know, I don't know, 15, 20 more deep balls type passes that get him a little bit closer to a thousand yards maybe, Zach in 2026, but he's not going to be that guy that dictates
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: to defenses and changes the arithmetic in terms of pull and coverage away from Corland Sutton.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and look, in fairness to the Broncos, that guy didn't exist on the free agent market this year.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, as soon as George Pickins got tagged, he didn't exist, but man, there are options out there that could at least give more weapons to the arsenal.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's assume that the theory is correct.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_03]: And they're counting on their players.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_03]: They like their got the younger guys.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_03]: How would that explain the Adam Troutman resigning them?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_03]: He's not a younger player.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't have any upside.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_03]: He's just Sean Payton's boy.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's they had a concerted effort to not go out and sign outside talent.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it speaks more to ego.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_03]: And like I guess that's the premise of the comment here.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_03]: Sean likes his guys.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: And he mentioned that as well.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_03]: Marvin.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_03]: Troy Pat Bryant, he picked those players for the most part, so he's going to be the ones that develop them and he's going to look good because they didn't need any stink and free agent check.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: They don't need any other teams left to reverse any other teams trash.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: So what the Broncos have is gold.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's rooted in a little bit of ego.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't makes, even it doesn't make sense, man, you can be stoked and proud of your team, but you just two more holes, just three more holes just got created.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: by JFM.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, here we are, we're going around circles again, like we're just talking about this same thing and look, on one hand, when you're, when you're podcasting Zach through a process like this, by the time the first two weeks of the free agent window are over, we'll have podcasted four times, you know, eight times through that window.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to talk about a lot of the same things.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to go around these circles.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's going
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have any further information.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: Zach, the closest thing we've now gotten, honestly, to anything remotely approaching an explanation is the, is the Luca Evans thing about the position cap.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: But it does not explain the whole picture.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: It really doesn't.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it's, it's frustrating.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: Lady D checking it.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you, another Mount Rushmore superstar and a dear dear friend and member of this MHH family.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: She says hi Chad and Zach.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm 100% agree with Zach.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very disappointed with what's going on.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: What are they hiding and why hit the like button share and subscribe MHH for life.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: Man, see, this is what we're talking about, you know, you get zacking to unchartered waters, you do things so against the grain, I mean, like, it's hard to compare these two things I'm about to say, but because I mean, for a lot of different reasons, but it was such a shock and so like, I guess for Bronco land unprecedented when they hired a brand new coach,
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: The guy who was the brainchild behind the Patriots at the time, record breaking offense, Tom Brady's 50 touchdowns season, all that stuff, the higher Josh McDaniels, everyone in Brockville country gets excited.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, everyone was overcoming their disappointment of losing Mike Shanahan.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: But the fact that we're higher in this guy that was part of the dynasty in New Orleans young guy Earl New England young guy all that stuff That was exciting in the same sense that we were all excited for free agency right fans are stoked ready for something to happen Then he swoops in and he's just starts decimating the roster including trading away
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: the young franchise quarterback three years and to be in the first round pick, who was literally coming off a pro bull bird.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's the closest thing I can say.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: I can point to Zack in terms of relatively recent Broncos cannon and uncharted waters.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I'm grasping at straws.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Diana, I wish I had a better answer because of what you showed how generous you are and supplying that super for us.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have anything else to say that I haven't said in fact, Chad said we're going around in circles because it's been the same subject for a week and we have no further information to go on.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_03]: We've been kept in the dark.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: The only thing I'll add, what what Chad said is like the Luca Evans thing, a little quitsanettle.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_03]: I said this before, but a little quitsanettle, Chad, it's coming out now and it wasn't known before.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: which is one of the reason, what's one of the tactics teams use, right?
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to call a press conference and spill the beans, but they will get certain pieces of information that they're willing to put out there to reshape narrative in the press and thus within the fan base.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, someone decides, you know what, who can we give this to?
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's call Luke Evans.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe at least given this, and but still it's it's a far cry from an explanation.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you have a dollar figure cap first and foremost like forget why are you doing all the things you're doing okay you had a you had a salary cap
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: So D-Dub checking in again with a very interesting chat.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Brother, thank you so much, dude.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I'm in a agreement with your assessments, but looking at places, the Broncos may be targeting to make a splash.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like divas, but would the Broncos do this?
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: He makes the team a lot better.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: I can't see the Broncos part of me sitting, uh, pat, knowing they're this close.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: What are you doing?
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: Man, Dale, I actually want to believe that they would do something.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, take a shot at something, swing in the effort of not only exact making the team better, but given bone nicks that weapon to help kind of get them over the hump.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do you think bone nicks has gotten a phone call through all this?
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, gosh, we've talked about a franchise quarterback Dale being the tie that raises all ships.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: What Peyton Manning did to elevate the here to four, no name relatively speaking, Demarius Thomas, Eric Decker, Julius Thomas.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, each year,
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos, then ran, of course, from football wise by John L. way, would bring in an additional weapon or two to keep the arsenal flowing, continuing to bring in assets, Brandon Stokely initially, Jacob Tammy, the tight end, then it was West Welker in 2013, 2014.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: It was Emmanuel Sanders, 2015, they brought in Owen Daniels, and then two of those last guys I just mentioned ended up helping to become the difference offensively to get them
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you do, Zach.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_03]: What call could the Broncos have placed a bonus during this chat?
- 45:05[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you excited to play with Adam Troutman for another season?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: Hello.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: Hello.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_03]: That's did he have done literally nothing for their franchise quarterback at a time where he's coming off a broken ankle that he sacrificed to get the Broncos to the AFC title game.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand Dale, I understand like the premise that you're making here, he's a great receiver, even though he's a diva, he would help, but you have to reckon with the fact, as have I, that the Broncos really are sitting pat, knowing they're this close, and they don't care, and we don't, I can't answer if they would do this because as of right now, they're not willing to do anything except re-sign the likes of Adam Trautman, Alex Singleton, and Lil Jordan Humphrey, we would hope they would do it, but will they?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, recent history says no.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, I don't know.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: I could see the phone call being like, Hey, Bo, just wanting to let you know, like you're going to be seeing some stuff out there on social.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: You might hear it on the radio, whatever, but just want to clear in on kind of what we're thinking.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: Here's our vision of philosophy.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: We're basically believing in you.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: We think you're the difference here in blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe maybe he's so young that they don't care to have that conversation.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: I can promise you, though.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: If this was John L. Wade Broncos circa 12 through 15, they're calling Peyton Manning and making sure he understands what the vision is.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Even if they're not per se looking for his permission, they're at least making sure he's on the level and getting a feel for whether he's bought into said level.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and so I think that would only be fair, even for a third-year quarterback like Bonyx.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: We have the Dutch is checking in again, top rope superchamping.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, look, we love you.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: We love you.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: She says, I keep on hearing that Jalen model wants to come here to be reunited with PS2 because they're really close friends.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: So like that smack talk, you know, that's like me with my buddies in the band.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: This past weekend and going to play music, you know, you break each other's go honies and you're as each other and stuff like you do it.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a brotherly thing, right?
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps that's what that was about.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: But that's not what she's talking about.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: She's saying that she's hearing the water wants to come to Denver, so that he can be reunited with PS2.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I haven't heard Michaela definitive proof that water wants to come here.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_03]: I did see the fight, teaser, whatever that was, and they did play together in college, and they are close friends.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: You're right about that.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: And I know what you're insulating here.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_03]: I would love it.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: I've been beating this horse since last year's trade deadline.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: we're meeting this drum, whatever, don't come at me, Peter, but I would love to have that explosive talent in the receiving core because like I talked about earlier, you're looking for the compliment to Portland Sutton, you're not looking to replicate or duplicate Portland Sutton.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's what someone like AJ Brown, or even George Pickin, so that extent should have would do.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_03]: Jalen Wada would give the Broncos offense and tirely new dimension and really help out number 10 under center.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_03]: But Michaela, like we've been saying, do they have any interest in helping
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: Now, why because, I mean, we all love Bonix, we all appreciate, and we appreciate his skills and we're confident in his continued upside and progression.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe that's the Broncos are like, we already have the greatest quarterback to ever walk the earth.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: And he needs no additional help.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, put George Payton out there while I'd receive her and, you know, Bonyx and 2026 is gonna turn him into a thousand-yarder.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'm presseted, and so I'm grasping it straws.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: But Michaela, shoot me a text where you're here in that information if you would, my friend.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: D-Dub, checking in again, he says,
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: but you have to explain the cap maneuvers.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: What are they making room for?
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good question.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now real quick just by way of
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, making sure we even know what he's talking about.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos right before free agency started.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the news broke Sunday.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: So that things opened Monday, Sunday, they restructured Quinn miners freed up 11 million.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: Then what was it, Zach, about halfway through this past week?
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: News or no, I actually was Friday.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say they restructured Jonathan Cooper, the Rush Linebacker, free up eight.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: another eight million so there's nineteen million dollars without those two free free ups they'd be sitting at three million dollars right now in cap space and the irony is all that cap that they've consumed because they went into free agency with plenty of money all that cap they've consumed has been re-signings and tenders
- 49:36[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly, yeah, giving out and traveling through your contract, giving out like singleton seven and a half million for two seasons it's it's crazy.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_03]: I wish Dale.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_03]: I could in first and foremost.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much for your generosity as always.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_03]: I wish I
- 49:51[SPEAKER_03]: I could explain the cap maneuvering.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_03]: I wish I could explain why the Broncos are freeing up this much money.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: We can only speculate.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_03]: So number one, there's another move they're wanting to make in the background, maybe a trade or a contract.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_03]: They want to absorb that we don't know.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: We're not privy to.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's number one.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: Number two, they're trying to conserve money for their draft class.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_03]: They think their draft class is going to be fairly significant.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_03]: Number three, they're waiting to see a post June 1.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: If things, the prices become cheaper, if they can get some players on a discount.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_03]: or they're putting money away like Shav is talking about earlier very very early, but they're putting money away now for future extensions like phonics or number five, I think it's number five, the more conspiratorial one is they suddenly got cheap and they became the Mike Brown Bengals.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: They don't want to spend any additional pennies if they don't have to and they're just rolling into the season with what they have.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, damn, that's all there could be.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, despite being the wealthiest owners, doesn't make sense.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: in American pro sports, let alone the NFL, they all decided, all the sun decided, yeah, you know, we're not going to spend money.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because look, again, guys, I can appreciate
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: that they wanted to bring back as many of their core guys that contributed to that 14 win season last year as possible.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: And this what I'm about to say is not even a have your cake and eat a two scenario.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: But you can bring those guys back and all 17 of them, in fact, and still go out and make some moves to continue improving and building upon what you've already established.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: There is no such thing as a perfect roster.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's no such thing as like, okay, you know, we've got the Michelangelo of NFL
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: you didn't win the Super Bowl dude.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not forget you did not win it all and even if you had won it all just like Sean Payton says, you know, it's not about building on how great you did this last year.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's like what do you call it shoots and ladders?
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody starts over from square one.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: So you're saying using your own logic, we're going to start over from square one worse.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: personnel and talent wise.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: Then we were when we ended the last board game.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: Make it makes sense.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't unless there's another move assigning like the joku behind the scenes or trade that there to go shading right now, it does not make sense.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: We'll have clarity at some point and maybe it will make sense, but right now there's nothing but speculation and conspiracies.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: So we've got
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: M. Blacks, a dear dear buddy, a dear superstar supporter member and the unofficial chief of the MHH discord, not unofficial, call official chief of the MHH discord server.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: Gifting one mile high huddle membership in the chat brother, thank you.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we appreciate you, big dog.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: Real quick, what Michaela was talking about here, Zach, was the, uh, a keep to leave stuff.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I only kind of caught that right before we went live because I took about a 50-minute break from being at my computer 24-7 to do a few things.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: What have you seen on that front?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so a key was on with Skib Balis, one of these shows called the arena, and he predicted the Broncos will have, and I quote, a new explosive player on offense.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't say when, he didn't say who, all he said additionally was, just remember, I told you that when it breaks, remember, leave a key to leave, said that.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_03]: And people are speculating.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_03]: So if that's what you're going on, Michaela, it sounds like to leave is more hopeful than he is like reporting inside her information.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't confuse him with Adam's shepter despite what he claims to skid bailis in that interview.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_03]: I'd love it to be Jalen Wattel.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_03]: And I hope that a keep is right.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_03]: But as of right now, I haven't heard anything concrete linking Wattel to the Broncos.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, and Black says, chat, please do not call me a chief.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: Took me a second there to catch.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what is it?
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the little slow on the uptake.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's come up with something else.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: The admiral, how's that?
- 54:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: You guys give us a nickname for the dear member who basically runs our discord for us like an awesome, awesome, awesome dude.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_01]: You guys give us some ideas here.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: George Fox, he says you have to remember.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: this year's players are now a year older.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: This last season's players are now a year older.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you try to improve your team.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: Good point, George.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: I remember George Peyton just keeping it at one position or, you know, unit.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: Just whatever it was three weeks ago at the combine saying, you know, just relative to offensive line, you know, you really don't want to age at the same time.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: So you want to get new blood.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: Now, of course, he was kind of saying that
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: which is a joke because they haven't drafted it.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's never even drafted an offensive tackle as the GM and this team.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: They haven't drafted a tackle since bulls.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: I digress the point being here, Zach.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: This is a reality as well.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: You got to continually balance your roster, hedging against the ebb and flow of talent that is gained and lost due to multiple factors.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: And the Broncos weren't exactly one of the younger teams in the league last year.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_03]: They were either middle of the pack or on the older side.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: So there's a billion reasons, George, why you'd want to improve your team from one year to the next, especially when you're this close to a championship as we thought the Broncos were.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_03]: And that's definitely one of them, because you have to always reload for the following season.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: Good point, though, George, my brother.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: We got D-Dub again, dude.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: Just running down.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, they from the top rope.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a WrestleMania, here he is again, brother.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Dale.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: He says, and of course, we always, let's not gloss over this.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: Love your takes, your insights, your questions, your wisdom.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I think one thing I loved, pardon me.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_01]: about Pat Bowen.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: He said, it's my job to get the money.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Walton's are in that mindset with facilities, stadium, coaches, spending.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: They will make their money a cuddle where possible.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think love talking football with their mate, you did.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: We love football.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so he's saying, look.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: At some point, you better believe they're gonna use this tremendous advantage they have as the wealthiest owners as a weapon to compete at some point in not at some point generally like this year they're gonna use it.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, thank you so much, Dale, for your generosity tonight.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_03]: And you're right, I don't want to get my previous criticism of the ownership twisted.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, they spent so much money improving the Broncos infrastructure, the practice facility, the stadium, even the personnel in years past.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_03]: They've also traded for Sean Payton.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_03]: They've done everything.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_03]: They've opened up their pocketbooks plenty.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: I just find it really strange they would choose to now all of a sudden this off season to start getting frugal and start getting cheap if that's what's the case.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: That's my thing is like where do this come from this mentality it was all you know all in and all gung-ho and now it's oh we're going to pinch pennies it does not make sense to me but all I could say is for sure we love talking football with you too.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: and you know it's like the it's a bold caught a strategy caught and we'll see how plays out.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard people go, this is pretty bold for George Peyton to roll this dice with an uncertain contractual future, right?
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like you have to.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: But you got a assume that this vision has been signed off on by Greg Penner, right?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: Who is the representative
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: very involved with the football decisions.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: And on board and included, you know, he's kind of stuck his nose in there to be included, and, you know, he doesn't know the football side as much obviously as a George Peyton or shopping, but like terms of making the decisions.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this few years in to be in owner slash CEO's act, you know, I think he's part of that decision making.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: So even if it wasn't the genesis of this his idea,
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: I got assumed that he has rubber stamped it on on some level.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_03]: I just find it again, maybe I'm just conspiratorial more than most other people are I'm always looking for that the evil underbelly of things I'm just finding funny that all this stuff is going down and it's so unprecedented the one off season that George Peyton Not only Chad isn't a lame duck with no extension beyond this year There were those rumors that he was gonna leave the Broncos and go back to Minnesota Those are quieted down, but where did those come from?
- 58:55[SPEAKER_03]: Where did they go and is there any link between those and what's happening now?
- 58:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I want to know
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: He got us thinking, D-Dub, you got us talking, man.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the best thing about it.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you, brother.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, we're about out of time.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: Michaela, she has an idea for Emblex's title for the MHH discord.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: She says, how about the moderator?
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: Here's another idea coming from Mr. Producer, the thread master, the thread master general, Emblex in the house, bow down.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: We'll keep chewing on it.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: The great suggestion, Michaela.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_01]: And Phil saying, uh, this may be the year we drafted an O'Line guy.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: That would shock me.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they drafted O'Line.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: They just haven't drafted Tackle.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they dropped to Quinn minors.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: They dropped to Luke Wattonberg, Alex Forsyth.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, uh, one was Lloyd Kushenberry.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: Was that right before George Peyton?
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: Either way.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_03]: 20, 20, thank you.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: They've drafted interior.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_01]: They just haven't drafted tackles.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_01]: So you may be right.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_01]: But guys, we got a few messages for you.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: They were going to take one last look at the chat.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: don't go anywhere.

- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_01]: Ddub's back in busy with another one and it's a it's a super fly super flex.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah dude, he's going way back.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_01]: I love it, dude.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much, Dale.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's awesome, brother.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: He says it's all speculation.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: And you both always bring relevant points.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_01]: My money's on, they're up to something.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: There will be a big move, but who knows?
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_01]: Regardless, Broncos for life.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, brother.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta believe that still.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this first week has made me question why I believe these things, but I can't.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_01]: At the same time, God believes that they know that they recognize fully, we did not win this Super Bowl.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_01]: We were exposed for a kind of a lack of weaponry in the AFC Championship game when we needed everyone around our backup quarterback to rise to the, well, they just couldn't.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're even Courtland Sutton was dropping passes that game.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I got a believes that they see something, something.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm hope I'm right there with you do do I'm going to maintain a sliver of hope and faith that something bigger is coming down the pike but this has been a weird week yo weird.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_03]: Not to mention they're one snap away potentially one injury from starting a little Jordan Humphrey or Michael Bandy at receiver.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah Dale I mean I've been a little pessimistic on the Broncos in George Peyton Sean Peyton but the optimistic me is still screaming the fact that there's something
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_03]: There has to be.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's Occam's razor here.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_03]: It would have to explain the inactivity and friegencies because we're doing something in the background.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_03]: So I tend to still side with you optimism and hope copium.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_03]: If you want to call it that, that there's a big move coming, but like you said, who knows?
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_03]: Just have to wait and see.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much again, though, for all your generosity tonight.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely amazing to have much love brother.

- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_01]: Ug name for M. Black's director of the discord.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: All right, the director.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: I remember I had a, I had a phone sales job in college.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: where our job was to like get people on the phone, the new guys, our job was to get people on the phone, and then if we could kind of get him interested, turn him over to the director of whatever it was that was gonna like tell him how great this widget we're selling is.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, director, I gotta tell you Shannon and Emblex, it does come with some perceived status.
