- 0:44Speaker 1: we're all leaving for some vacation time.
- 0:46Speaker 3: That's nice.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I've been feeling kind of under the weather for a
- 0:49Speaker 4: couple of days, and I've just like it's the allergies,
- 0:52Speaker 4: it's the weather changing all over the place.
- 0:54Speaker 3: It's hot, it's cold, it's raining, and that messes with me.
- 0:57Speaker 4: But I woke up today and I was like a smoker,
- 1:00Speaker 4: I know, and so I took some dake. Well I'm
- 1:03Speaker 4: trying to fight it, you know, But yeah, here's the thing.
- 1:06Speaker 4: It is hard for us to take a scheduled day off.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Did you really just want me to be like, I
- 1:10Speaker 4: can't come in today? I got the sniffle it.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Like take days off when we're going to be taking vacation.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so I didn't know, Like I don't. We don't
- 1:18Speaker 3: call in sick. It's not an you know. So it's
- 1:22Speaker 3: like I took some medicine.

- 1:26Speaker 2: what's up, Good Morning's good to be here Friday.
- 1:29Speaker 3: It doesn't like even my grip I noticed.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I don't know what's wrong with it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I know, but I came in.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Today and I have my water bottle and my coffee
- 1:38Speaker 4: cup and I was trying to juggle them to open
- 1:41Speaker 4: the door out front.
- 1:42Speaker 3: My water bottle one f to grab it, and.
- 1:47Speaker 4: As I did that, I poured almost my entire cup
- 1:49Speaker 4: of coffee right across the front of my shirt.
- 1:52Speaker 3: So if you're on YouTube, you.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Can wet T shirt Country.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I am dealing with a wet shirt on top of
- 1:57Speaker 3: not feeling our.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Viewer numbers just the way up on the YouTube tay
- 2:03Speaker 2: to wear a white T shirt too.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I'm here, We're doing it.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You'll be fing okay, I know everything. Sorry to hear
- 2:09Speaker 2: about your grip strength, though, it's gonna throw a curveball

- 2:24Speaker 3: Both of those things would be one.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Saran wrapp to wrap around your face. Anything we move
- 2:30Speaker 2: you into the next room.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Maybe we should give you guys a heads up that
- 2:34Speaker 1: you're probably gonna want to tune into Channel nine today.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I think right around noon.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Is when Colorado and Company. We'll have to look in
- 2:41Speaker 1: it's I think they replayed it and then replay it
- 2:45Speaker 1: at noon.
- 2:46Speaker 2: On channel two or nine or seven or six. Well,
- 2:50Speaker 2: we'll get you all the details, but definitely check.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Your TV program on your uh on your TV there
- 2:56Speaker 1: and uh yeah, definitely ten Channel nine Colorado and Company.
- 2:59Speaker 2: We're bringing on pizza for Slice Sliced Baby.
- 3:01Speaker 3: This was a fun stop.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well it hasn't happened yet, Yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Yeah, sure, yeah, yeah, it happens today.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yes, we didn't go yesterday in pre record, it'll be
- 3:15Speaker 2: today live after the show. We're gonna be there, so
- 3:18Speaker 2: make sure you check it out. That's funny, Katie. It
- 3:21Speaker 2: was a lot of fun It is gonna be so
- 3:24Speaker 2: funny a lot of days.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I've gone a lot of medicine right now. What day
- 3:29Speaker 3: is it?
- 3:29Speaker 5: Like?
- 3:30Speaker 1: I got a quick question for you guys or what
- 3:33Speaker 1: your thoughts are with men in shorts at the workplace.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I just walked past the sports studio, the big window there,
- 3:39Speaker 1: all the guys over there in shorts. I'm not a
- 3:43Speaker 1: fan of wearing shorts to a place of business. Even
- 3:46Speaker 1: though we are in radio and stuff, we still have
- 3:48Speaker 1: live streams. There's still clients that come in and out.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And I looked at those clowns over there, and I
- 3:53Speaker 1: was like, man, you guys are wearing shorts today.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I don't know, I just feel like it's not a
- 3:56Speaker 2: good look for guys.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I think I'm just used to it because I've worked
- 4:00Speaker 4: in the sports radio scene for so much in my
- 4:02Speaker 4: career that I mean, they roll in in basketball shorts
- 4:05Speaker 4: and tank tops.
- 4:07Speaker 2: All the time. It's such a weird look, as if you.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Just got off from the gym and now it's time
- 4:12Speaker 3: to go into work.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Off the court, It's.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Like they're always doing sports. That's part of their whole
- 4:18Speaker 3: life style.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I'm gonna get off of the show here and go
- 4:23Speaker 4: play a pickup game of basketball on the street, Like
- 4:25Speaker 4: that's their whole plan.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So we'll find some high school kids and play a
- 4:29Speaker 1: quick ground of rugby or nothing.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just used to the fact that, you know,
- 4:32Speaker 4: guys over on the sports station, especially wear basketball shorts.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I tried to acclimate that whole style one time in
- 4:38Speaker 4: my career and they sent out an email to the
- 4:40Speaker 4: whole staff about how it's not okay to our sweatpants
- 4:43Speaker 4: to work.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, never done it again.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I've never done it again.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I think we might need one of those eventually. But
- 4:49Speaker 1: goes out at this radio station cluster, dress a little
- 4:54Speaker 1: nicer because it is still in office in a very
- 4:56Speaker 1: nice part of town. It's a very nice office, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: we do have people coming in and out of here
- 5:01Speaker 1: on a daily basis. And I'm just not a fan
- 5:03Speaker 1: of showing off my knees.
- 5:04Speaker 5: I remember I came from the sports side, Sharon, you
- 5:06Speaker 5: made fun of me one time and I completely stopped. Yeah, yes,
- 5:09Speaker 5: I completely You're like, why am I looking at your knees?
- 5:11Speaker 2: If I might look at dude knees, yeah, I might
- 5:17Speaker 2: go shoot a video of those guys's knees, not a
- 5:19Speaker 2: like guy knees knees. Yeah, no joke man, only slobs
- 5:26Speaker 2: next door. All right, speaking of sports, what you got?
- 5:31Speaker 5: Well, the USA played last night and they actually dropped
- 5:35Speaker 5: the match against Turkey. Now the good news about that
- 5:38Speaker 5: is it didn't matter. They were already in first place
- 5:40Speaker 5: in their division and they're going on to the round
- 5:41Speaker 5: of thirty two, which is very exciting because that will
- 5:44Speaker 5: happen Wednesday, July first, and they're playing Bosnia and Herzegovina
- 5:49Speaker 5: longest freaking name ever.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Good lord, that's a place, I guess.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So first on the Google.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Maps Bosnia and HER's a Govina.
- 5:56Speaker 2: We're gonna I think it's hurts. Hurts it. There's a
- 5:59Speaker 2: z there. Hurts like the rental car Is that where
- 6:03Speaker 2: they're from? Yeah, it hurts originated the rental car company.
- 6:10Speaker 6: It hurts anyway, So much has gone on.
- 6:13Speaker 5: This is the most viewed World Cup of all time
- 6:18Speaker 5: taking place in the US. All over in Canada as
- 6:21Speaker 5: well as Mexico and Europeans are finding out about uh,
- 6:25Speaker 5: the United States weather and just how serious it can get.
- 6:28Speaker 5: People from Norway are coming over here and they're playing
- 6:31Speaker 5: in Kansas City right now. And Kansas City has some
- 6:33Speaker 5: pretty bad weather. We know the famous line, We're not
- 6:37Speaker 5: in Kansas anymore because they're getting massive tornadoes and huge clouds.
- 6:41Speaker 5: One Norwegian fan said really quickly, he loves Kansas, but
- 6:44Speaker 5: the weather makes him a little scared.
- 6:46Speaker 2: City is amazing, really amazing, but I'm afraid of the weather.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Because it is they're getting some massive tornadoes and huge
- 6:55Speaker 5: hail and thunderstoms which are coming from Colorado. We've been
- 6:58Speaker 5: experiencing some pretty stormy weather here lately. Well, Kansas City
- 7:01Speaker 5: usually gets out about a day or two later, and
- 7:03Speaker 5: that is absolutely scary for them for people who've never
- 7:06Speaker 5: experienced any type of tornado, you know.
- 7:08Speaker 3: No, tornadoes are terrifying, especially if you're not used to them.
- 7:11Speaker 3: The way they fill the sky so.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Ominous, like yeah, oh totally yea, now it's so scary
- 7:18Speaker 4: as Americans.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Though. One thing that's funny and being brought by the
- 7:21Speaker 5: World Cup is a lot of Google things are happening
- 7:24Speaker 5: right now.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Where what are Google things?
- 7:26Speaker 1: A lot of Google searches, Oh, Google searches, Yeah, Google searches,
- 7:30Speaker 1: share a lot of Google things.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Well anyway, what else they're searching things? Like, hey, what
- 7:35Speaker 5: is soccer actually called. Well, around the world, we call
- 7:37Speaker 5: it football. That is a lot of people in America
- 7:40Speaker 5: have no idea, which is kind of funny to me,
- 7:41Speaker 5: but we call our Americans sport football. Then around the
- 7:44Speaker 5: world other people called that football. Is the US having
- 7:47Speaker 5: a World Cup? And is US good at soccer? Yes,
- 7:50Speaker 5: the US is having a World Cup right now, and
- 7:53Speaker 5: I guess we're okay at soccer right now we're kind
- 7:55Speaker 5: of actually getting a DC.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Well, we're getting really.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Good matchups right now. Is not expected to win the
- 8:02Speaker 5: World Cup. That's probably gonna be France. They are very
- 8:05Speaker 5: very good. But right now we're getting good matchups and
- 8:08Speaker 5: that's not too shabby. The big thing that europe is
- 8:12Speaker 5: googling right now is is ranch an American thing? And yes,
- 8:17Speaker 5: the Europeans are finding all about ranch and they freaking
- 8:21Speaker 5: love it.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:22Speaker 5: What's funny is the TSA actually considers ranch a gel,
- 8:25Speaker 5: which kind of sounds but you do have to put
- 8:29Speaker 5: it in your checked bag because it is a sauce
- 8:32Speaker 5: or a gel. So make sure if you're from Europe,
- 8:34Speaker 5: and obviously you're listening to JKJ, pack that ranch not
- 8:37Speaker 5: in your carry on because you'll be flagged for sure.
- 8:40Speaker 5: And then also a lot of people are asking why
- 8:42Speaker 5: is the why are there pink their cleats so pink? Well,
- 8:44Speaker 5: a lot of soccer players love the electric Fuchia is
- 8:48Speaker 5: the actual term for electric, but a lot of the
- 8:52Speaker 5: companies that are making.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yes, it does.
- 8:55Speaker 5: A lot of the companies that are making the cleats
- 8:58Speaker 5: they want they want their feet to stand out, so
- 9:01Speaker 5: they're making very brightly colored things as well. And then
- 9:03Speaker 5: also the final question that a lot of people are
- 9:05Speaker 5: googling is do soccer players wear sports bras? Now, a
- 9:08Speaker 5: lot of times in warm ups, one of the funny
- 9:10Speaker 5: things you'll see is men that look like they're actually
- 9:13Speaker 5: wearing a sports bra. They're not wearing their their kit
- 9:16Speaker 5: yet or their jersey yet, And no, they're not wearing
- 9:18Speaker 5: sports bras, everybody, Sorry to disappoint you. Their heart monitors
- 9:21Speaker 5: and they also monitor how much they run on the field,
- 9:24Speaker 5: and it's just a thing just to see how much
- 9:26Speaker 5: exercise they're getting and they are really really into tracking
- 9:30Speaker 5: all that. So sorry to disappoint everybody. Know, the men
- 9:32Speaker 5: out there are not wearing the sports A man really hoping.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Viral local moments, local legends, and just enough national drama
- 9:42Speaker 3: to keep your group chats spicy.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Hope you guys are ready for this mile high hype.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Well, let's get you updated on all the stuff going
- 9:51Speaker 1: on today. I will tell you today's National take your
- 9:54Speaker 1: Dog to Work Day.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And ironically and ironically.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I don't know, it's all National Safer Workplace Day today.
- 10:03Speaker 2: So be careful if you're bringing that pitbull to work today, right,
- 10:06Speaker 2: you put a little muzzle on it. What else is
- 10:10Speaker 2: going on?
- 10:11Speaker 1: The data Travis wedding is supposed to be allegedly a
- 10:15Speaker 1: multi day event. Now, there's going to be an intimate
- 10:19Speaker 1: gathering at Madison Square Garden on the second with about
- 10:21Speaker 1: one hundred people. July third, up to two thousand guests
- 10:25Speaker 1: for a much larger party.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And then when's the actual wedding.
- 10:32Speaker 3: On the for the second is the wedding and then
- 10:35Speaker 3: the third is a party?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Is what it says that there's an intimate gathering on
- 10:39Speaker 1: July second?
- 10:40Speaker 2: I think, is that at the wedding.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yes, the intimate gathering is the wedding.
- 10:44Speaker 2: There's a wedding.
- 10:46Speaker 3: You know, they're famous, they gotta be fancy.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's an intimate gathering, not a wedding.
- 10:51Speaker 3: But this is going to be a two day event.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Now, like, how can she make it any bigger? My goodness,
- 10:58Speaker 4: you know, if anybody's gonna do.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It, though its over multiple changes.
- 11:03Speaker 1: People are saying that Travis is super excited, blah blah blah. Okay, So,
- 11:08Speaker 1: despite the permits, the block streets, the reported invitations, the
- 11:13Speaker 1: NYPD officers stationed outside Madison Square Garden remain unconvinced that Tata.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Will marry Travis Kelce there.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Next weekend, CNN went out and talked to a bunch
- 11:24Speaker 1: of the officers and they were all like, they think
- 11:26Speaker 1: this is a ruse, this is a decoy. A lot
- 11:29Speaker 1: of them are saying she's a glamorous girl. She wouldn't
- 11:31Speaker 1: get married here.
- 11:32Speaker 8: I know.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That's kind of what I said yesterday. I was like,
- 11:35Speaker 1: why Madison Square Garden. Go somewhere intimate, off in the
- 11:38Speaker 1: off in a forest and do something romantic and small.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Yeah, well to do that, she was up in Rhode Island.
- 11:45Speaker 4: She had a place and then people spilled the beans,
- 11:48Speaker 4: so she canceled it.
- 11:49Speaker 3: So I think she's just in the you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Know, does that mean she was gonna have a wedding
- 11:53Speaker 2: in Rhode Island?
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah? Like they had a placebooked, like on the.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Same day as another couple, right, yeah, the couple was
- 11:59Speaker 5: like no, No.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I think the word was that people found out about it,
- 12:04Speaker 4: like people within the building, within the events center, that
- 12:07Speaker 4: they told people. Word was starting to spread that that
- 12:10Speaker 4: was where she was gonna get married, and she wasn't
- 12:11Speaker 4: having it.
- 12:12Speaker 2: But now words spreading up at work, and she's like.
- 12:15Speaker 4: If I'm going to have the people talk about my
- 12:17Speaker 4: wedding anyway, I'm gonna get in front of it.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And so I should put a dollar on whether or
- 12:22Speaker 1: it's a deco bet right now it's gonna happen.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I think I will bet one dollar.
- 12:26Speaker 4: I think it's gonna happen on the weekend of the second, third,
- 12:29Speaker 4: and fourth that they are gonna get married.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna have a big part of the witness.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Now you can msg at the garden they're gonna get married.
- 12:37Speaker 4: I think it's a thing you are saying.
- 12:38Speaker 1: They are saying that she is a billionaire and she
- 12:40Speaker 1: can't afford to transform the venue into basically anything she wants.
- 12:44Speaker 4: And the security there, I think is the biggest thing.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Because there are no windows, people can't peek in and
- 12:49Speaker 4: people can go park.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Down underneath top like it's genius.
- 12:54Speaker 2: It's kind of genius, all right.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Well, the suspense is killing me, and I'll make sure
- 12:58Speaker 1: I tune in for every month of it. Yeah, here's
- 13:03Speaker 1: some news that made me smile because of the oversaturation
- 13:06Speaker 1: of Dolly Parton. She's now got a Tennessee travel stop
- 13:10Speaker 1: slash truck stop.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And she was there for the ribbon cutting.
- 13:15Speaker 1: She's surprised fans on Wednesday, and she poked a little
- 13:19Speaker 1: fun at BUCkies.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I guess while she was there. Oooh, don't poke the beamer.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Don't poke the beaver.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So they've got gas pumps and charging stations, a travel
- 13:28Speaker 1: stop fully stocked with.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Dolly themed merchandise.
- 13:32Speaker 1: There's a chandelier there that's made out of bedazzled guitars,
- 13:35Speaker 1: which sounds kind of cool. That does a restaurant, some
- 13:38Speaker 1: grabb and go barbecue, a coffee shop, showers, laundry room,
- 13:43Speaker 1: seating area.
- 13:44Speaker 3: It's a whole thing.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's a complete truck stop. And on top of it all.
- 13:49Speaker 1: There's some TV commercials with a little Dolly jingle and
- 13:53Speaker 1: travel stops.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Travel stops, come on in. You're welcome here.
- 13:58Speaker 9: Just make your simon Tennessee and travel stops along belongs.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Cars and buses, camper shrugs. We have hardy and you'll
- 14:10Speaker 2: comings in and you're.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Going now, don't forget to stop and face.
- 14:16Speaker 10: Can I fill up?
- 14:19Speaker 9: You know I'll always love you, so don't forget to stop.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Visit in the sea and travel stops only Dolly Parton,
- 14:33Speaker 3: you know what load to you in a jingle? You
- 14:37Speaker 3: know that.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I hear that again. I was listening to it off you.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I don't think I'd ever go there.
- 14:40Speaker 4: I think it sounds just like a Bucky's, like the showers,
- 14:44Speaker 4: the coffee, the Barbie shirts, barbecue, I know exactly like
- 14:49Speaker 4: there's a lot of things. BUCkies is famous for the barbecue,
- 14:53Speaker 4: the massive It seems like.
- 14:55Speaker 2: You put Dolly's name on it, some big boobs.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Huh, cotail chair, the beaber beavers. You know it's fine.
- 15:09Speaker 4: M hmmm, Oh, the Beaver's package is fine.
- 15:12Speaker 2: All right.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Let's go to local news like the Denver affordable housing crisis.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Okay, let's get serious for a second. I'm fine because
- 15:20Speaker 3: they're thinking shot.
- 15:21Speaker 4: A solution to the affordable housing crisis, and it's kind
- 15:24Speaker 4: of terrifying, like.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Stackable trailer houses.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Have we not seen ready? Josh, that's immediately what I'm incredibly.
- 15:34Speaker 1: It's a big renewable industry right now, taking containers and
- 15:38Speaker 1: making tiny houses.
- 15:39Speaker 2: They look rat Have you not seen them?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Have you read the books where it starts?
- 15:45Speaker 3: This is how it's. People start like.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Then gas is too expensive, you can't go anywhere, and
- 15:50Speaker 4: then you're just huddled up in this little trailer house
- 15:52Speaker 4: and you're that anyway, you have an avatar and you
- 15:55Speaker 4: don't even care about your real life.
- 15:56Speaker 3: You could do that.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Everybody day already. Oh like it.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Denver Santa fe Art District is among the city's modular
- 16:05Speaker 4: affordable housing complexes that they're starting up in six months,
- 16:09Speaker 4: people could be living in these things.
- 16:10Speaker 2: They're neat looking started.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I follow a couple of Instagram accounts for these guys
- 16:14Speaker 1: that take these old storage containers and they turn them
- 16:17Speaker 1: into tiny houses.
- 16:18Speaker 2: They're banging looking. It's like, I kind of what one
- 16:22Speaker 2: the top of each other? Yeah, okay, you lived in
- 16:25Speaker 2: an apartment? Yeah whatever.
- 16:27Speaker 3: No, I just don't think that this is the way
- 16:29Speaker 3: we want to go. I get that there's a housing
- 16:31Speaker 3: crisis and we fix it, but.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Gosh, do we not learn from the you know, stuff
- 16:35Speaker 4: we've put out already.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I just feel like it's the same thing as.
- 16:39Speaker 3: A and AI was only a book in the eighties.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Terminator wasn't going to happen in the eighties.
- 16:45Speaker 4: And look here we are. It's just one step away.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Flat cop coming to the door, chasing me down the highway.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Like they did. They've done that anyway. You've been in jail,
- 16:53Speaker 2: they shut out chearings.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I didn't try and get away.
- 16:57Speaker 2: This is just your childhood.
- 16:59Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 17:01Speaker 4: I don't like it the minute I saw it, and
- 17:03Speaker 4: I'm glad you thought the same thing.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Immediately. I was like Ready Player one. I don't know
- 17:08Speaker 3: if you read Ready Player two.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I don't want your beach with with affordable housing.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But man, send your hate mail to Katie about just
- 17:15Speaker 1: making mix one hundred dot com.
- 17:17Speaker 4: It's affordable, and I don't have to be stacked on
- 17:19Speaker 4: top of somebody hard time about that about that year
- 17:23Speaker 4: fall on hard time. It's not okay, not okay anyway,
- 17:27Speaker 4: Just in case you're wondering, that's and we.
- 17:29Speaker 2: All have avatars already, and we all sit on the
- 17:31Speaker 2: internet already like that, and you.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Sit on your couch all day like, no, I don't
- 17:36Speaker 4: I'm out. I walked three miles yesterday. Well, you ate
- 17:38Speaker 4: a Costco hot dog home?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Talk about that.
- 17:42Speaker 1: First hold up I got. The drink I got was
- 17:46Speaker 1: through their Mocha freeze.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm telling you that combination Costco hot Dog with a
- 17:51Speaker 1: Mocha freeze game changer in the world of held you.
- 17:55Speaker 3: After that, that is not a game change.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I'll also tell you about twenty minute after having that
- 18:00Speaker 2: for lunch, I was like, that was a bad idea. Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 2: that was a really bad idea.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Especially when we had to go down to Channel nine
- 18:10Speaker 1: and be on TV and I ate a big old
- 18:12Speaker 1: gizzie before we went down.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I was like, a good choice.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Life.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Anyways, curry on.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Okay, Grand Slam Page Chiam. We're getting to it because
- 18:21Speaker 4: that is tomorrow and Sunday real quick. It is absolutely
- 18:25Speaker 4: free and they're telling all ages to come on down there.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Live Mural Festival is what they're calling it, and they're
- 18:31Speaker 4: gonna have over twenty muralists there, live art demos, interactive
- 18:35Speaker 4: art stations, music, food trucks, all the stuff. But again,
- 18:39Speaker 4: it is absolutely free, so we wanted to just let
- 18:43Speaker 4: people know about it. It's gonna be right around Lawrence Street,
- 18:46Speaker 4: so twenty third, between twenty second and twenty third and Lawrence,
- 18:49Speaker 4: I think swear it's gonna be. But yeah, definitely a
- 18:52Speaker 4: fun thing to bring the family to. And I know
- 18:54Speaker 4: that everybody's looking for stuff for the kiddos, and this
- 18:56Speaker 4: one is free.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah what's free? Okay much? Absolutely free?
- 19:01Speaker 4: Ninety nine and then one more because Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
- 19:04Speaker 4: has two new baby Grizzly bears. They are just like
- 19:10Speaker 4: thirty pounds or super little. They have that ring around
- 19:13Speaker 4: their collar like grizzly baby.
- 19:14Speaker 2: They're incredibly cute. So yeah, it's it's a cuddle aggression
- 19:18Speaker 2: that I have. I want to bite them.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Well, not only you.
- 19:20Speaker 4: There was a newscaster in Colorado Springs who was talking
- 19:23Speaker 4: about it and it had me laughing.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Okay, here it is.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Oh they are so cute. Now, oh look at that
- 19:29Speaker 3: guy with his tongue.
- 19:30Speaker 9: Oh man, I know that you shouldn't, but I would
- 19:33Speaker 9: love to hug one.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I would love to hug one. So we can't hug
- 19:37Speaker 3: them or even see them just yet.
- 19:39Speaker 2: They've like a girl. And she looked at me, she
- 19:41Speaker 2: was like, oh.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Look at that guy with his tongue. O.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Man, Yeah, she's hot.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Jeer me.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Okay, again, you can't really see him down there in
- 19:50Speaker 4: the Shya Mountain Zoo because they have them in the
- 19:53Speaker 4: Rocky Mountain Wild kind of getting their examined exactly.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Fact, they you know there. You don't want to.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Throw them in with the big grizzlies.
- 20:00Speaker 3: No, they can see.
- 20:01Speaker 4: The grizzlies through a fence though, so they're trying to
- 20:03Speaker 4: get them acclimated with the two bigger they're like twenty year.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Old grizzlies that were sterned as cubs too. And well,
- 20:12Speaker 3: here's the thing.
- 20:12Speaker 4: This is the first time cubs have been brought to
- 20:15Speaker 4: the Shine Mountains doing over twenty years. And the reason
- 20:17Speaker 4: they had to. It's kind of sad. Their mother was
- 20:19Speaker 4: euthanized because of a history of conflicts with people. So
- 20:22Speaker 4: they're hoping that this raises awareness to people though, because
- 20:26Speaker 4: there's so many folks out there who are looking for
- 20:28Speaker 4: that picture.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Right, they don't care, and this stuff can happen if
- 20:32Speaker 3: you get too close.
- 20:32Speaker 2: They could do that to my mother in law.
- 20:34Speaker 3: They're true, Okay, one can always help.
- 20:38Speaker 2: She says she has a history of conflicts with people too.
- 20:40Speaker 3: All right, Well, Jerry, Katy.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And Josh six one hundred boy.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Storms hit again last night in the Mile High City.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Woke me up about.
- 20:54Speaker 1: It was like right around eleven midnight, just that crazy
- 20:59Speaker 1: rain and win and possible hail again last night.
- 21:02Speaker 2: It was nutty. The lightning was absolutely ridiculous.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Well, I saw a lot of areas across the state
- 21:07Speaker 4: getting hit with floods, like unexpected floodwaters.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Bad weather again, real bad weather.
- 21:12Speaker 3: So hope everyone's safe out there.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Well, and then right around one thirty last night, I.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Heard my son shuffling around and then I saw like
- 21:22Speaker 1: lights getting flashed in the house and stuff, and he.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Had his flashlight out. I guess the power went out.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Oh no, right around one thirty, which is it's annoying
- 21:31Speaker 1: because then you lay there and you're wondering, you know, well,
- 21:34Speaker 1: how's this morning going to go and when's it gonna
- 21:36Speaker 1: come back on? But thank god, Excel called me seven
- 21:40Speaker 1: times to let me know what was going on. My
- 21:44Speaker 1: phone rang it was I should go back and look.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I think it was seven times, and I keep my
- 21:49Speaker 1: phone on silent, but I do still have it on
- 21:51Speaker 1: vibrate in case there's an emergency. So you know, I'm
- 21:54Speaker 1: laying there and I get them. Yeah, and then you
- 21:57Speaker 1: feel it in you here, you know, as I'm trying
- 22:00Speaker 1: to doze back off because I'm already thinking about the
- 22:01Speaker 1: power off. But they called me to let me know
- 22:04Speaker 1: that my power went out. They called me again to
- 22:07Speaker 1: let me know that they are working on.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Restoring my power.
- 22:10Speaker 1: They called me again and said the power beyond by three,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and then they called me again and said four.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Oh.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And then they called me again and said five oh. No,
- 22:19Speaker 1: And then I heard the power come back on. And
- 22:22Speaker 1: then I got another.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Phone call to let me know that the power had
- 22:25Speaker 2: been turned back on. So thank you Excel for keeping
- 22:28Speaker 2: me updated on my power situation.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Do they do this in the daytime hours?
- 22:32Speaker 6: Two?
- 22:32Speaker 3: Do they keep you updated?
- 22:33Speaker 1: I've never I think they do. Yeah, I don't know.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I got sucked into something. I must have signed up
- 22:38Speaker 1: for something. It must alerts. Yeah, where I'm getting calls
- 22:42Speaker 1: and it's not fun when it's two in the morning
- 22:45Speaker 1: and my phone.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Is oh, I would be so annoyed, and it was
- 22:49Speaker 3: so it was excessive.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I appreciate the alerts, but hey, your power's off. Yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 2: I know, I know. Hey, your powers back on? Hey? Thanks?
- 22:55Speaker 2: They noticed what was.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Your son doing? At one thirty in the morning.
- 22:58Speaker 2: He gets a little freaked out when they hear the
- 23:00Speaker 2: power go out, because you can hear it, hear everything.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You know. He's got a fan in his room and
- 23:04Speaker 2: it goes off, so he gets a.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Little like I get that, So he immediately has to.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Wake everybody up and let us know that the power
- 23:11Speaker 2: is out.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I thought he was like down in his little three
- 23:14Speaker 3: D printer.
- 23:17Speaker 1: The other thing I found extremely concerning is the amount
- 23:21Speaker 1: of stuff that just turns on in my house after
- 23:25Speaker 1: the power kicks on, because I went, you know, after
- 23:28Speaker 1: I fell back asleep and went downstairs.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Then when my alarm finally went off.
- 23:32Speaker 1: The amount of lights that just come on when the
- 23:35Speaker 1: power comes back on. There was a TV on, one
- 23:39Speaker 1: of my soundbars was on. I walked in our office
- 23:42Speaker 1: and my wife's complete work from home setup was just on.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Lights in my garage on. Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So I guess a lot of this stuff in my
- 23:51Speaker 1: home is power sensitive. So if it goes out and
- 23:54Speaker 1: comes back on, it's just on.
- 23:57Speaker 4: It's automatically. I wonder if there's a switch for that
- 23:59Speaker 4: or setting.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I don't know, but I instantly am thinking, Okay, so
- 24:02Speaker 1: what if we're out of town for a week, or something.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Power goes off. We get home and everything's on and
- 24:07Speaker 2: it's been running. I want a discount from excelf. That's
- 24:11Speaker 2: the case.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Well at Lisa looked like someone's home and house.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Positive an issue the post office yesterday, so I.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Went in to mail some stuff and you know how
- 24:23Speaker 4: you have to go up to the counter and you're
- 24:25Speaker 4: not quite ready. So they're like, why don't you go
- 24:27Speaker 4: out to that back counter and fill the stuff out
- 24:30Speaker 4: and then come back right okay, So I get.
- 24:33Speaker 3: To the front of the line.
- 24:33Speaker 4: They tell me to do that, go fill out some
- 24:35Speaker 4: stuff at the back counter, and then when I'm ready again,
- 24:39Speaker 4: I go back to the line and I get into
- 24:41Speaker 4: the back of the line.
- 24:42Speaker 3: That's the pus you should write, exactly.
- 24:45Speaker 4: And so I get to the back of the line
- 24:47Speaker 4: and I await my turn again, and all of a
- 24:49Speaker 4: sudden there's this lady and she did the same thing.
- 24:53Speaker 4: She got to you know, she was being served at
- 24:55Speaker 4: the counter and they told her you're not.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Ready yet, go fill this stuff out at the back.
- 25:00Speaker 4: She went and did that, and instead of getting back
- 25:02Speaker 4: into the back of the line like real humans do,
- 25:06Speaker 4: she decided she was going to stand to the side
- 25:08Speaker 4: of everybody and just wait until the person motioned her like,
- 25:11Speaker 4: oh yeah, you don't have to wait in line again,
- 25:13Speaker 4: come on up to the front.
- 25:14Speaker 3: That is not how it works, and you could tell
- 25:17Speaker 3: the person.
- 25:18Speaker 4: The person who was serving her like looked at me
- 25:20Speaker 4: first to see if I was going to be okay
- 25:22Speaker 4: with it, because I was the next person in line.
- 25:24Speaker 4: She was cutting in front of me, and I just
- 25:26Speaker 4: kind of smell them. It was like, it's fine, because
- 25:29Speaker 4: I wasn't going to create a scene right there in
- 25:32Speaker 4: the post office. But also the person in front of me,
- 25:36Speaker 4: right they had just said, hey, you were here before me,
- 25:39Speaker 4: why don't you go ahead, And I was like, no,
- 25:41Speaker 4: that's totally fine, you do it. That's very nice to
- 25:44Speaker 4: you to say, but you go ahead and get your
- 25:46Speaker 4: stuff taken care of first.
- 25:48Speaker 3: The person behind me.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Even I took a little bit of extra time when
- 25:52Speaker 4: I finally filled everything out and the counterperson said, this
- 25:56Speaker 4: is going to take a minute, and so I turned
- 25:58Speaker 4: around and I told the gentleman, thank you, thank you
- 26:00Speaker 4: so much for being patient.
- 26:01Speaker 3: I know you probably a place.
- 26:02Speaker 2: So much kindness.
- 26:03Speaker 4: And he was like, it's fine, take your time. I've
- 26:05Speaker 4: got plenty of time today. So everyone was super kind,
- 26:08Speaker 4: except for this one unhuman like lady who didn't feel
- 26:11Speaker 4: like standing in line. She thought she was above it,
- 26:14Speaker 4: And boy, that drives me crazy when people.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Do in the moment.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Well, because again, I'm not going to cause a scene.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I just feel like this was an older woman. She
- 26:22Speaker 3: should know. I also feel like.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm not going to make a scene. I'm just gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: go on the air tomorrow morning.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Absolutely, But I feel like once you get to a
- 26:32Speaker 4: certain age.
- 26:33Speaker 3: You kind of just like the rule rules anymore.
- 26:37Speaker 2: But let me ask you something.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Do you know if the counter attended at the post
- 26:41Speaker 1: office said, hey, when you're done, just come right back.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Up to the front. I don't know if she did
- 26:45Speaker 2: or not, but we don't know that situation.
- 26:47Speaker 4: I was in the same situation as this lady just
- 26:49Speaker 4: moments before, and she didn't tell me that. She didn't say,
- 26:52Speaker 4: when you're done filling that out, come right back up
- 26:54Speaker 4: to the front. She just said, go fill out yourself, lady,
- 26:57Speaker 4: come back when you're ready, same lady.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Maybe she didn't like you.
- 27:01Speaker 3: I don't know why. That's part of this conversation.
- 27:03Speaker 4: And I know, right, come on, I'm super friendly, but no,
- 27:06Speaker 4: it definitely irked me.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I was like, I feel like, this is.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Just that's common that's etiquette. It's common knowledge, common knowledge.
- 27:13Speaker 1: You don't go right back up and cut in front,
- 27:15Speaker 1: you get back in line because you were not prepared.
- 27:17Speaker 4: I was not the only person who looked at this
- 27:20Speaker 4: lady like the heck you.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Think nobody spoke up. Nobody's speaking up.
- 27:24Speaker 3: She was an elderly lady. I don't think anybody really wanted.
- 27:28Speaker 1: To call her out in a loud voice because she
- 27:31Speaker 1: probably can't hear too well.
- 27:32Speaker 4: This was one of those those uh you know, post
- 27:35Speaker 4: offices that served as another business.
- 27:37Speaker 3: So it was a post office slash boutique shop.
- 27:40Speaker 4: So I didn't know if they just didn't want to
- 27:42Speaker 4: throw down right there in the middle of the.
- 27:46Speaker 3: I don't know, it really was.
- 27:48Speaker 4: I've never heard of this post offish slash slash like.
- 27:52Speaker 4: They had closed they had little knickknacks, they had purses,
- 27:56Speaker 4: they had shoes, they had uh you know, birthday cards, a.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Little takes the mail though, Okay, it was the same.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It's a post office and it sometimes I got them
- 28:03Speaker 1: in gas stations, so.
- 28:05Speaker 3: They had a post office within their business.
- 28:07Speaker 2: That's kind of cute.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Like, I didn't know if people just didn't want to,
- 28:11Speaker 4: you know, start something right there and you know, break
- 28:13Speaker 4: some stuff. So I was like, maybe we're just all
- 28:16Speaker 4: being calm so we don't break nothing, you know. I
- 28:21Speaker 4: guess it irked me, and I just like again, thankfully
- 28:24Speaker 4: the person in front of me and behind me were
- 28:26Speaker 4: so kind.
- 28:28Speaker 3: That could have ended a little bit.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I think the moral of the story for you is
- 28:32Speaker 1: to show up prepared to the post office so you
- 28:35Speaker 1: don't have to step to the side.
- 28:37Speaker 3: But I needed her help, Like, that's the thing is.
- 28:39Speaker 4: I needed to overnight something and then I needed them
- 28:42Speaker 4: to overnight it back to me. So I needed to
- 28:44Speaker 4: ask her what the best cheapest way to do that was,
- 28:47Speaker 4: you know.
- 28:47Speaker 3: So that was what I needed to talk to her about.
- 28:50Speaker 4: And then she told me, gave you go fill this
- 28:53Speaker 4: out and had me go fill it out.
- 28:54Speaker 2: So what were you mailing? I was mailing passed, Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 2: take a couple of yuine. I gotta get this to
- 29:06Speaker 2: a guy.
- 29:06Speaker 3: To mail it back.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I needed to get this to a guy in Rhode
- 29:10Speaker 2: Island immediately, and I need it back like applying for
- 29:15Speaker 2: a job, and I need this room back quick man.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Get out of line. On the heels of you talking
- 29:23Speaker 2: about that lady they cut in line at the post office.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Just in general, I think just common courtesy is gone
- 29:29Speaker 1: out the window. I mean, I am so sick and
- 29:34Speaker 1: tired of letting people in in traffic and they don't
- 29:37Speaker 1: give you the courtesy wave.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I always give you the merge too late.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I always give a little.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Nobody's doing that anymore. I've noticed that too with a
- 29:51Speaker 2: lot of our kids.
- 29:53Speaker 1: My kids as friends, like if you take them places,
- 29:58Speaker 1: drop them off, pick them up, they don't say thank you.
- 30:01Speaker 2: What they do not say thank you? They just get
- 30:03Speaker 2: out of the car.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Oh, I was so grateful of a parent dropping off,
- 30:07Speaker 4: Like I've been known to go, you're welcome, Yeah you bet, yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 4: I'm safe exactly, Like, just say something snarky.
- 30:14Speaker 2: They just buried in their phone. They open the door
- 30:17Speaker 2: and get out. I'm like, okay, well you're welcome, man.
- 30:21Speaker 2: That irks me. Yeah, you know, there's been a couple
- 30:24Speaker 2: of times I've told Nick, Nick, I don't think I'm

- 48:04Speaker 8: Jarreny Katy and Josh one hundred.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I got a whole stack of just odds and ends
- 48:09Speaker 1: nonsense that we just need to chat about.
- 48:12Speaker 14: Uh.
- 48:12Speaker 1: It is definitely swimming season. And here's a question for
- 48:15Speaker 1: everybody listening. Do you shower before you get into a pool?
- 48:20Speaker 4: Uh?
- 48:20Speaker 1: Specifically a public pool, says this story, But I think
- 48:23Speaker 1: this would probably go for any pool.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I Uh, well, one, I don't get in pools.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you're against them because the word.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Pooh is in pools, So I don't. An online poll
- 48:35Speaker 1: was split. People were about fifty to fifty whether or
- 48:39Speaker 1: not you should rinse off before you get in or
- 48:40Speaker 1: if you just go cannonball get on in there. So
- 48:44Speaker 1: the biggest factor is one you should be doing it. Yeah,
- 48:47Speaker 1: it helps keep the pool clean. Yeah, that's what I thought.
- 48:51Speaker 1: If you don't shower or rinse off all the dirt
- 48:53Speaker 1: and grime that's on you, including sweat, body oils, any
- 48:59Speaker 1: lotion products that you have on you.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Guess where that's going.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Right in the pool, you're gonna have a little oil
- 49:04Speaker 1: slick around you while you're hanging out at water World.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Nobody likes that.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Nobody wants an oil slick around them at all.
- 49:12Speaker 1: And they're also saying, I've never heard this before. Then
- 49:14Speaker 1: it really protects your hair. And here's a pool expert
- 49:17Speaker 1: talking about.
- 49:18Speaker 15: By rinsing off before it allows the pools to stay clean.
- 49:21Speaker 15: The hair follicles in your hair actually absorb fresh water,
- 49:25Speaker 15: not the chlorine water, so it's actually an.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Extra layer of protection for your hair. When you come.
- 49:30Speaker 15: Out, you have still a little bit of chlorine in
- 49:32Speaker 15: your hair, so you want to make sure you wash
- 49:34Speaker 15: it out, rinse it off as well as rinse your
- 49:36Speaker 15: body off to get the chlorine off.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Is that Paul Mitchell or something Hauly.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Makes sense though, because I will tell you when I
- 49:42Speaker 4: get out of a pool, if I don't have some
- 49:44Speaker 4: kind of cap over my hair, it is so dry
- 49:47Speaker 4: and brittlely and it just is no okay, So this
- 49:51Speaker 4: is some good advice. As far as protecting it, Yeah,
- 49:55Speaker 4: I dig that. And I always how you were supposed
- 49:56Speaker 4: to rinse off before you got in the pool, Like
- 49:58Speaker 4: I remember in my hometo on the little city pool
- 50:01Speaker 4: that I went to, they had showers. You had the
- 50:04Speaker 4: locker room, and then you had the showers, and then
- 50:05Speaker 4: you had to pool, and you had to go through
- 50:07Speaker 4: each step.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Just like urinate shower.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Pool, exactly like you had to do one before you
- 50:12Speaker 3: did the other. You don't want to urinate in the pool.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Well, a lot of people just go right to pool
- 50:16Speaker 2: and urinate.
- 50:16Speaker 3: I know you're not supposed to do that.
- 50:18Speaker 2: A lot of times I'm not even in the pool.
- 50:19Speaker 2: I just stand on the edge and go in and
- 50:21Speaker 2: pee it.
- 50:21Speaker 3: See it's na anyway.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I've never heard that when you wash your hair beforehand,
- 50:30Speaker 1: it absorbs clean water and then it doesn't absorb as
- 50:33Speaker 1: much chlorine water.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:34Speaker 3: I like that.
- 50:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Now you're updated on everything pool related this morning. Yes,
- 50:39Speaker 1: I got another story for you. It has to do
- 50:41Speaker 1: with gummy worms.
- 50:43Speaker 4: This is what I'm afraid of because I love the
- 50:46Speaker 4: very important news.
- 50:47Speaker 2: I guess Trader Joe's has some banging gummy way do it?
- 50:51Speaker 2: Now you're really really good. There's all sorts of food
- 50:55Speaker 2: influencers trying these gummy worms right now, and there's like
- 51:00Speaker 2: unique texture to them. They smell like like a birthday cake.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Apparently they're very appealing, very appetizing. Now the only problem
- 51:11Speaker 2: is a single serving of eight gummy worms. Did I
- 51:15Speaker 2: say bears earlier gummy worms?
- 51:17Speaker 5: Is?
- 51:17Speaker 2: Gummy worms contain a whopping fourteen grams of dietary fiber.
- 51:23Speaker 2: How many? How many servings are in a bag? Maybe
- 51:26Speaker 2: that makes total sense?
- 51:27Speaker 4: Now, actually, here's they that makes total sense.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Let me put this into perspective. One serving of metamucial
- 51:38Speaker 2: fibergummies contains five grams of fiber, and that'll get your rocking.
- 51:43Speaker 1: These gummy worms, which are highly addictive and delicious at
- 51:48Speaker 1: Trader Joe's. Fourteen grams of fiber per serving, let's say
- 51:52Speaker 1: four servings per bag. People are comparing it to the
- 51:55Speaker 1: medicine that you take before a colonoscopy. One person says,
- 52:02Speaker 1: I ate a serving and a half and confirmed, and
- 52:05Speaker 1: I can confirm it cleans you out fast.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Yes, it does.
- 52:10Speaker 3: It's so funny.
- 52:11Speaker 4: I just tried these gummy worms and now I feel
- 52:13Speaker 4: way better about myself.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I know I'm skinny. One commenter said, I ate several
- 52:19Speaker 2: handfuls and my stomach has been a wreck for days.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Gotta be careful about this stuff.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so read the label. Why would Trader Joe's do
- 52:30Speaker 2: us dirty? Like that?
- 52:32Speaker 3: Literally dirty?
- 52:38Speaker 2: Somebody else said, fiber be working overtime in these worms.
- 52:43Speaker 3: But they're so good, they're so hard to put down.
- 52:46Speaker 3: That's the thing is. It's like I.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Watched the video this morning from a TikToker that was
- 52:52Speaker 1: trying these. She's just sitting in her cars like I'm
- 52:53Speaker 1: trying these new viable gummy worms. She had no idea,
- 52:57Speaker 1: you know, and I'm just laughing. She's like, oh these
- 52:58Speaker 1: are good, all these tasty and she's doing like nine, ten,
- 53:03Speaker 1: eleven gummy worms.
- 53:04Speaker 3: I'm like, oh no, she doesn't know, no, she does.
- 53:08Speaker 3: About to find out though, all.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Right, So Peyton wrote in on the text line, she says,
- 53:12Speaker 1: I was out running some errands one day.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Trader Joe's was one of my stops. I grabbed those
- 53:16Speaker 2: gummy worms, munching on them while I was running errands.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I ended up getting stuck on I twenty five traffic Jerre.
- 53:27Speaker 2: I was fighting for my life is what she wrote.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Poor Peyton.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, those things sound like they take effects pretty.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Darn fast, almost instantly.
- 53:42Speaker 4: And I think again, I'm just so grateful for that
- 53:45Speaker 4: information now, because really, you know, I.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Like to provide public service. Good on you, j I
- 53:50Speaker 1: got one more funny story for you guys. It has
- 53:53Speaker 1: to do with our buddy Big Rob, who comes on
- 53:55Speaker 1: after us each and every day.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Good guy. We love Big Rob. So we've teamed up
- 54:01Speaker 2: with Elich Gardens.
- 54:02Speaker 1: We're doing a lot with Elitches this summer, and one
- 54:05Speaker 1: of the things they're doing for.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Us, which is very cool, is they're like.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Essentially decorating the entire theme park with mixed one hundred
- 54:13Speaker 1: banners and slogans, and there's giant.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Pictures of all of us up at Elish Gardens, which
- 54:19Speaker 2: is pretty neat for us. Yeah, kind of cool, you know.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Nice little local place.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly love it.
- 54:25Speaker 1: So he sent me a picture yesterday because he stopped
- 54:27Speaker 1: by to check out some of the banners and stuff
- 54:29Speaker 1: that they put up, and by some of the swimming
- 54:33Speaker 1: areas out there, they've got like these giant like sheds
- 54:36Speaker 1: looking things, and there's like three or four of them
- 54:39Speaker 1: sitting there and one of them is a big banner
- 54:41Speaker 1: of Nina that says, listen to Nina afternoons, Mix one hundred.
- 54:45Speaker 1: It's really nice boom front and center. And then there's
- 54:48Speaker 1: us next to Nina, okay, JKJ in the morning, have
- 54:51Speaker 1: some morning lasts. And then next to us is a
- 54:55Speaker 1: banner of Big Rob and a giant boy in front
- 55:01Speaker 1: of the shed in front of his banner.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Oh oh no.
- 55:06Speaker 2: And he sent me a picture yesterday and I saw
- 55:09Speaker 2: it and I was like.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Oh my god. I started laughing. I had tears in
- 55:12Speaker 1: my eyes because it's like Nina, jk J, Big Rob
- 55:17Speaker 1: behind a bush.
- 55:19Speaker 4: It's like the monster's ink.
- 55:24Speaker 2: I was thinking of.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Wilson from the old school TV shows, like you see
- 55:30Speaker 1: It's like, oh, you don't see Big Robin all.
- 55:33Speaker 2: So I told him, I was like, do you think
- 55:34Speaker 2: you could sneak some like bush trimmers in there?
- 55:37Speaker 3: I know the bright we need to some product place.
- 55:40Speaker 2: You gotta trim the bush.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Jerry, Katie and Josh one hundred. Oh.
- 55:50Speaker 1: There's always just every day, so much crap and nonsense
- 55:54Speaker 1: that we're reading on social media. Everybody's mad at each other,
- 55:58Speaker 1: everybody's down in the dumb, and we try to fight
- 56:01Speaker 1: that a little bit with something that we call feel
- 56:04Speaker 1: Good Friday, where we take the final Friday every month.
- 56:09Speaker 2: And have people call in and tell us.
- 56:11Speaker 1: All the good stuff that happened to them over the month. So,
- 56:16Speaker 1: if you want to participate in feel Good Friday three
- 56:19Speaker 1: oh three six nine one one mix three oh three
- 56:23Speaker 1: six nine one, sixteen forty nine, I would love it
- 56:27Speaker 1: if you called right now. I would encourage you to call.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Let's let's spread some smiles, some love, some joy. Three
- 56:34Speaker 1: oh three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Now here's
- 56:38Speaker 1: the thing with feel Good Friday as well. It doesn't
- 56:41Speaker 1: have to be something huge, like you made partner. You
- 56:45Speaker 1: don't have to tell us that. Yeah, well, it can
- 56:48Speaker 1: be something small, you know, like a meal that you had.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Or you cleaned your whole house, right, Like that's a
- 56:55Speaker 3: good feeling.
- 56:56Speaker 10: Sure?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Why not? Yeah, it's your life, it's your world.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Whatever, put the biggest smile on your face. That's what
- 57:02Speaker 4: we want to hear about, right.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Yes, even something that happened with your kiddos, your parents, anything.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Will accept anything, but it only works if you call in.
- 57:14Speaker 2: So don't be scared. We're very nice. We're nice people.
- 57:18Speaker 3: They want to talk to you. We want to hear
- 57:20Speaker 3: about your good stuff.
- 57:21Speaker 1: And I know there's like a million people listening right now.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So call us three O three six nine one one mix,
- 57:27Speaker 1: which is three three six nine.
- 57:29Speaker 2: One sixteen forty nine. Think back over the past twenty
- 57:34Speaker 2: six days and be like, what was something that really
- 57:38Speaker 2: was good in my life? Katie? How about you?
- 57:41Speaker 4: I would have to say my new car that I bought,
- 57:44Speaker 4: my new old car from the nineteen hundreds.
- 57:46Speaker 3: It is perfect, good car. I love it so much.
- 57:49Speaker 3: And the best part.
- 57:50Speaker 4: About it is, you know car guys, right, you are
- 57:52Speaker 4: a car guy, Jeremy, Josh, you like cars as well.
- 57:55Speaker 4: And when I roll up and people see my car,
- 57:58Speaker 4: they're also impressed.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Like, wow, look at you. I tell I know. It's
- 58:03Speaker 2: like when you got it, you were so happy.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Yeah I was, and well in the deal I got
- 58:08Speaker 4: also made me happy on top of it.
- 58:09Speaker 3: So there are so many good things that you know,
- 58:12Speaker 3: are with this car.
- 58:14Speaker 4: And I'm just even driving it around now like it
- 58:16Speaker 4: puts the biggest smile on my face.
- 58:18Speaker 3: So and I gave it a name. Do you want
- 58:19Speaker 3: to hear my?
- 58:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's your name.
- 58:20Speaker 3: It's Cookie.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Cookie Cash helped me with that actually Cookie.
- 58:25Speaker 3: It was going to be cook them because that's chip
- 58:27Speaker 3: Awa for Grandma.
- 58:28Speaker 4: That's what I called my grandma. But then he'd said,
- 58:30Speaker 4: what about Cookie. I'm like like Cookie. So Car's name's
- 58:34Speaker 4: Cookie and I love her.
- 58:35Speaker 1: And no joke, guys, she puts a club on it.
- 58:37Speaker 1: There's a club like old school.
- 58:41Speaker 3: That's the Fice Club.
- 58:43Speaker 2: So funny line full lines are ringing. I love you, guys.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Come on, let's spread some joy and some smiles on
- 58:50Speaker 1: a Friday. Yeah, let's push all the craft to the
- 58:54Speaker 1: side that we're reading on Facebook.
- 58:56Speaker 2: It's probably AI.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Anyway, I get out of here, I to hear ay,
- 59:00Speaker 1: I slap Okay. So, as of right now, I've got

- 59:42Speaker 9: really nervous about it. They're going up against Spain. So

- 59:49Speaker 9: collector cuser nine dollars.
- 59:55Speaker 11: That niet big mash.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Your highlight of the month is McDonald's collectors cuffs.

- 1:00:45Speaker 8: Well?
- 1:00:45Speaker 13: Called you on a whim. I just started volunteering with
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: my twins through the National Charity League, and we just
- 1:00:53Speaker 13: started this beginning of June and we've done a couple
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: of volunteer events, one at the Gabriel Foundation out in
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: the is a bit volunteering for a bird sanctuary, and
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: then recently for Hyline Scamber, and it's been so much
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: fun to see how much joy they have in their
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: hearts for serving their community and being parted something. And
- 1:01:15Speaker 13: they just had such a blast.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: So that's really you're raising a couple of good humans
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: right there.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Just warmed mind.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Trying hard hard and Katie loves birds.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: I love I think it's.
- 1:01:26Speaker 13: You should go out there. It's crazy. They have like
- 1:01:29Speaker 13: over two hundred some birds. They like have really fancy
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: food for them. It's like farmer's dog for birds. It's
- 1:01:37Speaker 13: the funniest thing. But yeah, it's so good.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I was just talking on the show the other day
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: that I feel like I'm becoming an old man because
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I went out on my back patio on a Saturday
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: morning having a cup of coffee and I was just
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: sitting there listening to the birds and watching them fly around,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and I had the best time of my morning, of
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: my life that morning.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, this is really cute. It's fascinating.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I like birds.
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: There are some birds of characters there for sure. There
- 1:02:04Speaker 13: is one that if you go and make the rock
- 1:02:06Speaker 13: on sound and goes rock, that make.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Me happy too.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: So this is this is really good, Tessa.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Thank you so much for calling in this morning and
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: sounding off.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: For Feel Good Friday. Very very much appreciated. Here is Samantha. Hi, Samantha,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: good morning. So what made you feel good in the
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: month of June?
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: Girlfriend, I just got back from vacation.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Oh, very good. Where'd you go?
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: So?
- 1:02:33Speaker 12: We did a road trip Vegas, calie Reno and came
- 1:02:38Speaker 12: back through Utah and the Wyoming.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: Oh so you drove all the way through all these
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: spots we did?
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: Yeahn yes?
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: What was your favorite part about it?
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: I went to my first Dodger game, so that was
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: pretty cool.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Okay, got the show Hay pitching?
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Did you get to see show Hay pitch?
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: Yes? Yes they did.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Car Yeah, that's.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I got a question for you two. What was the
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: best road trip food that you had? What was the
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: best thing you snacked on?
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: I get those sweetheart chewies still around one.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Not mad at that at all, Not mad at that
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: at all. That's what we're talking about, Samantha. Thank you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: so much for.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: I was trying to think of mine and a pretty.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Couple special moments this month with my son. I took
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: him out for the first time.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: And let him drive, which was a lot of fun,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Like the first time, got him behind the wheel, and
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: it was special, you know, to see him kind of
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: freak out being behind a car wheel.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Because we all remember, I know, right, that's so good
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: for you.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: It was really good.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: That was a cool It was just me and him too,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: great father son time. And then the other thing is
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: is he bought a brand new e bike with his
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: own money he's.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Been saving up. It was like seven hundred bucks or something.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: And then him and I got in the garage and
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: put the damn thing together for an hour.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: There working on cars in the garage instead we're putting
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: the bikes together.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Very special father son moment. Hi, Debbie, good morning, Well,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: good morning to you. It's feel good Friday. What was
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: the best part of your month.
- 1:04:17Speaker 11: I got to fly back to Portland, Oregon, pick up
- 1:04:21Speaker 11: one of my four year old grandsons and fly him
- 1:04:23Speaker 11: back to Colorado for some special time just about him.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Oh wow. And we're a pilot too. That's awesome.
- 1:04:32Speaker 11: I know to gad I really was, and it saved
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: me a lot of money.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Right, what kind of things did you guys do together?
- 1:04:39Speaker 11: We went to the zoo and we said that giraffe
- 1:04:42Speaker 11: and we pet the steam rays and he slept a lot.
- 1:04:48Speaker 11: I think the altitude got to him.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Well, that's actually great because you had some fun and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: then you went home and he just slept the rest
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: of the day.
- 1:04:54Speaker 11: So exactly, there's two four year olds. I did one
- 1:04:58Speaker 11: in May, one in June, and next month I bring
- 1:05:00Speaker 11: an eight year old out.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Ah, you're such a good grandma.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: You are I am.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: I have to say, like I remember, like staying with
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: the grandma was like a highlight for all the grandkids.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: I know you're doing them a solid. They're gonna remember
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: this their whole life.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Debbie, that's a great one. Thank you for calling in.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Here's Tiffany, Hi.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Tiff tiff Hello, Hello.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: All right, feel good Friday. What was your feel good
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: part of June?
- 1:05:26Speaker 12: My daughter made me a grandma for the first time.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Oh, another grandma.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: So many grand we should just call this Grandma Friday.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: So what's the little baby's name?
- 1:05:38Speaker 12: Ann Alie, Oh, how keen, And.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: It's your first grandchild, so you're like super excited.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Huh, yes, that's cute. All right, well, thank you for
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: calling grandma. That's a good one.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Hi, Linda, Hello, did you become a grandma too?
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: I did not.
- 1:05:58Speaker 14: Think that'd be hard since I don't have children.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: That would be very difficult. That would be very unique.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: We'll call that unique Friday. All right, So what was
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: the best part of June for you?
- 1:06:10Speaker 14: I went to peter Rappids, Iowa and ran a half marathon.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Yeah, good for you when you're strong.
- 1:06:17Speaker 14: Half marathon?
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Whoa damn? How long is a half marathon? Again?
- 1:06:21Speaker 14: Thirteen point one?
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that is a lot?
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Is so impressive.
- 1:06:26Speaker 14: And I ran my first one. I ran my first
- 1:06:29Speaker 14: one the day after I turned sixty two. Okay, oh
- 1:06:35Speaker 14: and then yeah, no, I'm sixty eight and I'm still
- 1:06:37Speaker 14: out there.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: It's there. Fifth one.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Wow, we're very impressed. I get winded walking up the
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: stairs sometimes.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: I know running it's hard.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: I actually and I can only do two miles at
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: a time. So for you thirteen and a half miles,
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: we are in epressed.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Yeah for calling in all right, I'm gonna try to
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: sneak one more in before we got to get to
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: the break.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Is it Maine?
- 1:06:58Speaker 12: Yes, Hi Maine.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Feel Good Friday, tell us something good that happened over
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: the past month.
- 1:07:04Speaker 12: I was just alerted that after being six months with
- 1:07:07Speaker 12: my company, I have been promoted.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: After just six months.
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: Smell you and I'm one of the youngest texts there.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 1:07:19Speaker 14: I'm a now a leaf flebottomis so I go around
- 1:07:23Speaker 14: to nursing homes and I drop people's blood.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Oh good, fantastic, congratulations and the lead flebottomus a break
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: on your business card. I knew a lot about vain placements.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: That is awesome.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Congratulations, yay for me, Thank you for calling in. Oh
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: that's a good group of people, Josh, really quep. We
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: gotta get to a break. What was your best part?
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: Probably my birthday felt very loved and appreciated. So that
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: was very nice.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: You go you hey guys, good news. We'll do it
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: all again next month. Feel Good Friday with JK.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Time for a very quick, mixed one hundred sports report.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: What you got?
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: All right, We're gonna blast through this. The World Cup
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: has been going on. USA played last night. We're about
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: halfway through it. Now, we still got about two weeks
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: left to go, and there have been so many mimable
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: and viral things that have happened. At the match last
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: night in USA taken where they lost that match unfortunately
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: against Turkey, Edward Norton and Brad Pitt they were there
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: and it's funny because they were sitting next to each
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: other and a lot of fight club references I'm made
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: as they were like, oh, Edward Norton's sitting there with
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: himself and all that stuff.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: So that was funny.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Unfortunately USA did lose.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: But the funny thing about the World Cup now is
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: so many people have come over here. Americans are learning
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: so much about other cultures and even soccer itself. Google
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: has been flying off the charts and some of the
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: things that have been the most googled things so far
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: have been like, hey, is soccer actually called football? Because
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: we as Americans we have our own version of football.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: All the Europeans that have come over are like, what
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: are you calling a soccer fut it is? You're right good, Joe, Katie,
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: look good, you culture queen over there. And then the
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: number two thing is ranch an American thing. All the
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: Europeans here have been obsessed with ranch and they want
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: to know if they can bring it back to Europe
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: because apparently they have nothing like it over there. And
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: just remember, if you're a European, listen to the JKJ
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: Morning Show. You gotta you cannot bring it out your
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: carry on, Okay, you gotta pack that thing because it's
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: considered a gel I guess by the TSA, which makes
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: it sound so much more unhealthy.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: That's disgusting.
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: And then the last thing that I think is the
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: funniest thing being googled on here is a lot of
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: the soccer players like to warm up without a shirt on.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: It's already hot here.
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: They just like to get a good warm up going
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: and they wear a monitor, but it really does look
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: like a sports bra, and so Americans all over are
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: asking why are they wearing sports bra?
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: So that's the number five thing googled here.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: And it's not a sports bra, people, it's a heart
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: monitor and it checks like all all the you know,
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: laps you've ran or anything like that. How many steps
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: you get in, Katie, You're a big steps girl, right,
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: I am got to get those steps in. So no,
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: Americans are not running around here in their sports bras
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: and just you know, and showing up.
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: The exactly the pink pink sports bras, right, Katie.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that's interesting though, clearing a lot of stuff up
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: because I don't know a lot about the World Cup.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Same apparently no Americans, no sports bras.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Mile high hype on mixed one hundred starts.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Now, just a heads up. Today is National take your
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Dog to Work Day, and oddly enough, it's also National
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Safer Workplace.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Day today, so be careful out there. Okay, don't step
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: on any little doggies, all right.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: The NYPD, they say they're a little skeptical that Taite
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: is actually going to have her wedding at Madison Square
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Garden over the fourth of July. Essentially, a lot of
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the police officers are saying that she's a glamorous girl, she.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Would never get married. Here is the quote. But then
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: a lot of people are saying, you know what, she's
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: a billionaire, so she could pretty much transform that entire
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: venue however she wants.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: I think it's part of it.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: I think she's trying to get people to think she's
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: not gonna have it there, so they'll start sniffing around
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: elsewhere so she can have it there the whole time
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: because it has everything she needs, so much security. They
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: can park down underneath the windows.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: Well, there's like she's.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: Really concerned with people taking pictures and releasing them before
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: she does. Yeah this out, you know, Well they can't
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: do that there. There's no windows, there's no way to
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: get in unless you're in.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: I guess we're just gonna have to wait and see.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: I know the suspense is killing me. It is killing
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: me too.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Katie Dolly Parton has her first ever truck stop that
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: she opened up in Tennessee.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: It sounds very familiar. It sounds exactly like a Bucky's
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: essentially a lot of gas pumps, charging stations, and then
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: a restaurant, some grabbing go barbecue, coffee shop, a trucker's lounge.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: Yeah hmmm. I was suspicious when she released the Dolly.
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: Nugget, so I was like, wait a second, that's too closed,
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: really big, oversized, I.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Would think, So.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You get to them, and then finally I gotta give
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you since we just did Feel Good Friday. This is
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: a sweet little story coming out of Tennessee as well.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: There's a senior living community out there that just hosted
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: an awesome event.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Where residents took part in a giant slip and slide
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: day before you.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Freak out, it's freaking out.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Yes, they weren't actually running and jumping on there as
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: seniors like, oh, I'm just going to break break.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I broke my hip. They can't have fund.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: They What they do is they put like an inner
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: tube on the giant piece of plastic with like ropes
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: attached to it, so they let the seniors sit in
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the inner tube. They grab the ropes and then run
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: along with them and just pull them along. But listen
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to the audio and how happy they are.
- 1:12:47Speaker 15: We created this giant slipping slide.
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: They're going for a great ride as fast as we
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: can to.
- 1:12:53Speaker 15: Murphy's where a fire department comes out and they hose
- 1:12:55Speaker 15: it down and they helped to assist the seniors on
- 1:12:58Speaker 15: and off the tube.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I can follow in to it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: This is crazy, it's fun.
- 1:13:03Speaker 15: And then they get to ride down on the tubes
- 1:13:05Speaker 15: like like they get to be a kid again.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: We call it the ride in Fly because I just
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: had the times from my last.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: They slid me right into the pearlegate.
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: So so excited and I could follow to it. I
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: can't imagine they're excitement if they were going at full speed.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: So maybe it's a better ship along slash fell out.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: They're so happy, they are so happy, I'm telling you.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: When you watched the video, there's these little old dudes
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: in straight up jeans and tucked in dress shirts sitting
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: on their little inner tube like getting zipped down like
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: little old guys do.
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: Great ride.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Yeah, timamana, I'm so glad show shaf They want to
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: have fun too, got me right in a grave. Careful
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: with all the.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Fun you're having though, Okay, if you're gonna go out,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that's the way you go out right for real.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: I'm not even joking. Dig a hole in the ground
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: for me. Line up a slipping slide that goes right in.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: That's how you want it.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: That's how I want it to end, doesn't how bad?
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Not too shat.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: I'd like to sign up for that as well. Here come,
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: I would like that package.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Alright, I talked way too much. Give me a couple
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: quick ones.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Well, let's do just the fun.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: One down at Shyane Mountain Zoo because they have two new.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: Baby grizzly bears. Exactly.
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: I'm not excited to do h these they joined the
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: two twenty something year old bears already there, so Emmett
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: and Digger have been at the zoo since two thousand
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: and seven. That's also almost the last time the Shine
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: Mountain Zoo got little Grizzly bears that were orphaned cubs.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Oh their mama had to be euthanized. But again they
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: brought these cubs to Shine Mountain Zoo. They're going to
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: be out of the guests view and his quarantine period's
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: going to help them adjust, right, so it helps them
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: with their examinations of vaccinations and the necessary medications, and
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: it also helps protect the other zoo animals. So they
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: are going to introduce the little baby Grizzly bears and
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: Emmett and Digger. They'll be behind a fence so they
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: won't be able to get to each other, but they'll
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: be able to get to know each other a little bit.
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: You gonna say, so cute, and you won't be able
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: to see them in Rocky Mountain Wild for many weeks
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: just because again the acclamation period. They don't have names
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: for him yet and they haven't even released the sexes,
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: but their adoor.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: They're really cute. They're so cute. Oh my goodness.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: But yeah, a couple new little Berry nanas at the
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: China Mountain Zoo.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: So that's exciting.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: Oh that's cute. All right, well there's a really quick
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: mile high hype.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: It's you versus a Katie.
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: Unless your brain runs on TikTok reality TV and Red
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: Carbon Drama.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Wow, you might already be too.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: Let's play Katie Crush on mixed.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Oh it is definitely time to play this silly game.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: It's Michelle who just joining us?
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: Hi?
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Michelle, Heygrey Bibby, what are you doing today?
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: Actually? I just left Vegas finishing our drive to Cali.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: All right, well you're on the open road?
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: You are?
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: Wow?
- 1:16:20Speaker 8: I am. My kids were ignoring me, so I called in.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: All right, good ignore him back, I say, you leave
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: him at the next rest stop and hit the road.
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: I think, thanks.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: So tell us a little bit about yourself, Michelle.
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: Well, we're originally from Cali. We moved to Denver about
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: ten years ago, and now we're going back for some
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: beach time. And my two girls are fifteen and sixteen,
- 1:16:47Speaker 8: So here we go.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Do you work? Do you have a gig? I?
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: Do I do my medical underwriting?
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Oh? Well that sounds important.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: It sounds.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I'm not a Yeah, I didn't want to say it.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: So well, here's what's gonna happen. I'm gonna give you
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: and Katie the same five questions, best out of five wins.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Ties go to Katie because why she's a diva in
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: a monster.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Yeah, there it is. Katie. Got anything to say to Michelle?
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: You know? Better? Pull over, focus, pay attention, because I
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: bring it.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I come to Oh, all right, Katie, get out of here.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Get out of here, Katie.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: So Michelle, she's gonna go into a room where she
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: can't hear anything. I come up with the questions, so
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: there's no cheating, and I'm watching her get in there.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: We'll find out if you are right or wrong once
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: we bring her back in.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: So are you ready to play?
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: I'm ready?
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Michelle, tell me what brand of boots originated in Australia.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: They're made from sheep and they're very trendy.
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: I'd be.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: All right. What movie is the famous quote? Show me
