- 0:03Speaker 1: Far Leve Michigan CINTA nominee Abdullah El Sayed is doubling
- 0:06Speaker 1: down on his claims that government run socialized healthcare for
- 0:10Speaker 1: all is the fix that America needs to me.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Medicare for All is not about what it takes away.
- 0:15Speaker 2: It's about what it offers, guaranteed health insurance from cradle
- 0:18Speaker 2: to grave that you don't lose by turning twenty six
- 0:21Speaker 2: or turning sixty five, or getting married, getting divorced, getting
- 0:23Speaker 2: a job, losing a job. It's there for you as
- 0:26Speaker 2: you need it, and it will be good wherever you
- 0:29Speaker 2: need to get your health care. It's not about taking
- 0:31Speaker 2: anything away.
- 0:33Speaker 1: That's quite a promise. The best case estimates put the
- 0:36Speaker 1: cost of Medicare for all I call it Medicare for
- 0:38Speaker 1: None north of one and a half trillion dollars a year,
- 0:41Speaker 1: but others wren it could cost nearly four and a
- 0:44Speaker 1: half trillion dollars per year. That breaks down to fifteen
- 0:48Speaker 1: to twenty one thousand dollars per taxpayer per year. Vice
- 0:51Speaker 1: President Ja d Vance pointed out El Sayed is not
- 0:54Speaker 1: the candidate he says he is.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I don't pay that guy in much mind that The
- 0:58Speaker 3: problem with el saie is that he is a person
- 1:01Speaker 3: who claims to stand for working people, and yet he
- 1:04Speaker 3: opposed Donald Trump's policies that have quite literally saved the
- 1:08Speaker 3: Michigan auto industry. What he is actually trying to build
- 1:11Speaker 3: as an economy where you tax some people, you give
- 1:13Speaker 3: it to Democratic Party favorite interest groups, and that's just
- 1:16Speaker 3: not how you create prosperity. Of course he's going to
- 1:19Speaker 3: make personal insults. He's also gone after my kids. He's
- 1:22Speaker 3: just kind of an odd guy. I think the guy
- 1:24Speaker 3: is crazy and would be a terrible senator for the
- 1:26Speaker 3: people of Michigan.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has a challenge for his
- 1:31Speaker 1: fellow Democrat. Keep robbing albos with socialists and backing their
- 1:35Speaker 1: ideas and see what happens.
- 1:37Speaker 4: I dare you to continue to campaign with people like
- 1:42Speaker 4: Hassan Piker, because he now will quickly find out it's
- 1:46Speaker 4: easy to campaign in the echo chamber as a Democrat.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Interesting to see how he chooses to disavow or now
- 1:55Speaker 4: pretend that he hasn't just said and done these things
- 1:58Speaker 4: just through this entire campaign.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Emily, I see a bit of hubrist to el said
- 2:03Speaker 1: in not disavowing Hassan Piker, the insults he has made
- 2:07Speaker 1: against Jade Vans's children. I look those up. I didn't
- 2:09Speaker 1: even know he had made them, and that hubrist can
- 2:11Speaker 1: cut against you and could be your downfall in a
- 2:13Speaker 1: general election when you have to win over statewide.
- 2:16Speaker 5: I see a lot of hubris there. And interestingly, look,
- 2:19Speaker 5: we've talked about earlier how the polls were not accurate,
- 2:21Speaker 5: that they sort of anticipated a double digit lead. He
- 2:24Speaker 5: ended up sort of barely winning. But those same polls, however,
- 2:28Speaker 5: has him losing to Rogers. So perhaps the more extreme
- 2:32Speaker 5: or the extreme version of him will indeed be as
- 2:34Speaker 5: sort of averant to the voters as he is to us.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I find him incredibly egotistical, incredibly condescending. Same with Mom Donnie.
- 2:42Speaker 5: He just packages it in his creepy smile. And this
- 2:44Speaker 5: guy packages it while, you know, posing for magazines on
- 2:47Speaker 5: his pool. The point is they're all frauds because they
- 2:50Speaker 5: enjoy the fruits of a republic and the capitalist society
- 2:53Speaker 5: while damning everyone else. When he talks about the benefits
- 2:56Speaker 5: from cradle to the grave, by the way, I find
- 2:57Speaker 5: it ironic and mean. If it wasn't so heartbreaking that
- 3:02Speaker 5: they also don't recognize life. However, from the cradle or
- 3:05Speaker 5: conception to the grave. I mean right, they want insurance,
- 3:08Speaker 5: they want again our money to be bloated. And when
- 3:11Speaker 5: faced and confronted with the statistics of how exactly that
- 3:15Speaker 5: would cost, note that he sort of goes back on
- 3:17Speaker 5: his word a little bit, is like, well, this is
- 3:19Speaker 5: going to happen.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We know what it's going to look like.
- 3:21Speaker 5: An absolute train wreck. So his coming close to being
- 3:25Speaker 5: a senator, as the Vice President said, he is not
- 3:27Speaker 5: the right person. But I don't know, you guys, I'm
- 3:29Speaker 5: staying optimistic that they won't actually vote him in Molly.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, Elsa Ed he is very good at packaging
- 3:35Speaker 1: his radical policies in a moderate lens. He says, I'm
- 3:38Speaker 1: not a socialist. He's very good when he speaks. Carvell
- 3:41Speaker 1: insisted to me he thinks Elsayed will win despite them
- 3:44Speaker 1: being at odds ideologically, because he believes the economy will
- 3:47Speaker 1: push him over the line. He thinks Mike Rogers and
- 3:49Speaker 1: his history in Washington is a problem. I just don't
- 3:52Speaker 1: think fifty one percent of the state, or you know,
- 3:54Speaker 1: a plurality of Michigan will go for these policies.
- 3:57Speaker 6: I don't know, but I do think Republicans should be
- 3:59Speaker 6: thinking king about why are these messages of socialism even
- 4:04Speaker 6: mildly appealing to any voters in America? And part of
- 4:09Speaker 6: it is that Republicans were elected to help deal with
- 4:13Speaker 6: the economy. They have not seemed as focused on that
- 4:16Speaker 6: as they should be. And there's a midterm election coming
- 4:18Speaker 6: down the pike. You have a lot of enthusiasm on
- 4:21Speaker 6: that hardcore left, which is again much of the Democrat
- 4:25Speaker 6: Party now coming out to vote. What reason are Republicans
- 4:28Speaker 6: being given to come out to vote? It takes effort
- 4:31Speaker 6: to get the ballots in the box, and what has
- 4:33Speaker 6: the Republican Senate done? What have you know? What are
- 4:37Speaker 6: they getting from Republicans right now? And so Republicans shouldn't
- 4:40Speaker 6: just think, oh, we are totally fine. This guy is
- 4:43Speaker 6: so radical, so un Americans, so anti American, that we're
- 4:46Speaker 6: going to be okay. They still need to give reader
- 4:48Speaker 6: voters a reason to vote, and they need to care
- 4:51Speaker 6: about economic opportunity, ability to buy houses, foreign families, get jobs,
- 4:56Speaker 6: keep jobs, and that has you know, that's everything from manufacturing, immigration,
- 5:00Speaker 6: and they should be focused on it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And I think, you know, Mike Rogers is a uniquely
- 5:04Speaker 1: strong candidate. But you and I were talking during the break,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and there were more than seven hundred thousand people that
- 5:07Speaker 1: voted for Syed. That is it?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Sure?
- 5:10Speaker 1: I mean it's small compared to Michigan, but that's still
- 5:12Speaker 1: a big number.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Well, one point five to two million people came out
- 5:15Speaker 7: to vote in that state for the races that were
- 5:17Speaker 7: going on and other you know, ballot issues. But what's
- 5:19Speaker 7: interesting too is that's just the midterm, So what will
- 5:22Speaker 7: the general look like? You know, I was thinking a
- 5:25Speaker 7: lot about this. Potentially is Barack Obama and that's got
- 5:28Speaker 7: to have some people on the right worry because he's
- 5:30Speaker 7: still around sixty sixty one percent, is the most popular
- 5:33Speaker 7: person in the Democrat Party right now. If he jumps
- 5:36Speaker 7: in and we know they had a quote unquote warm
- 5:38Speaker 7: conversation because that's how l Sayed described it with Obama
- 5:43Speaker 7: over the weekend, and there's been some talk, so we'll
- 5:46Speaker 7: have to see really if that reporting actually yields anything.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Would Obama be on the stump with him? What would
- 5:51Speaker 7: that look like? I could see him stay, well, look
- 5:53Speaker 7: he met with with Mom Donnie, or at least they talked.
- 5:56Speaker 7: I could see it happening, but for a different reason.
- 5:59Speaker 7: Thats Obama's brand right back up to the top. These
- 6:02Speaker 7: men are not that different. And when you saw him speak,
- 6:06Speaker 7: I mean, I think even you said it. I know
- 6:07Speaker 7: I said on the air, he was very eloquent. I thought,
- 6:09Speaker 7: I'll say it. He can certainly make a point now
- 6:13Speaker 7: if you want to dig into it. He says he
- 6:15Speaker 7: knows more about healthcare, you know, because he's a doctor.
- 6:18Speaker 7: He did go to Columbia and he did get his
- 6:21Speaker 7: you know, his degree, but he's never actually seen patients
- 6:24Speaker 7: like he didn't actually work in healthcare. He didn't have patience.
- 6:27Speaker 7: So that's interesting. So he doesn't really know about that
- 6:29Speaker 7: cost part of it. I'd be well and Obamacare. Look
- 6:32Speaker 7: at that, Look at the uniqueness of potentially a warm,
- 6:36Speaker 7: fuzzy conversation going on down the road.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Watch for it.
- 6:39Speaker 7: Republicans are going to have to do more than just
- 6:41Speaker 7: bet on the guy being bizarre, maybe too close to
- 6:43Speaker 7: the streamer hassan Piker who is crazy, maybe maybe a
- 6:47Speaker 7: little bit too much like Francesca hung than anybody wants
- 6:50Speaker 7: to admit. That's not going to do it. You got it.
- 6:52Speaker 7: It can't be just against It's got to be four.
- 6:54Speaker 7: You know how I know because that's how Democrats lost
- 6:58Speaker 7: last time. They were all against Trump. They weren't for anything.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, John, you I do think. I predict
- 7:04Speaker 1: Obama will come around and embrace him. He also talks
- 7:08Speaker 1: with Wes Moore, and we'll see if that ends up
- 7:10Speaker 1: with Wes Moore community campaign for him. But you did
- 7:13Speaker 1: have Hillary Clinton speaking generally warning about socialism, and it
- 7:15Speaker 1: would be nice if we had some Democrats, meaningful Democrats,
- 7:19Speaker 1: to put a flag on the ground and said no,
- 7:20Speaker 1: not here.
- 7:22Speaker 8: That's what's surprising about this, not that you have crazy
- 7:25Speaker 8: left wing people who are angry about Trump, but you
- 7:28Speaker 8: have no responsible middle of the Democratic Party who are
- 7:32Speaker 8: saying these people are arrogant. They're also ignorant, right, They're
- 7:36Speaker 8: large parts of the Democratic Party who don't believe in
- 7:38Speaker 8: socialism and communism. They understand that markets are the better
- 7:43Speaker 8: way to provide you know, resources, goods and services that
- 7:46Speaker 8: people want to buy, not a central planner. Look, I
- 7:49Speaker 8: live in Berkeley. I'm surrounded by left wing nothing. I
- 7:51Speaker 8: don't want him to run anything. You know, you can
- 7:54Speaker 8: look and take a look at reality and see how
- 7:55Speaker 8: badly run California at Berkeley, Madison, Wisconsin.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Are you? I mean?
- 8:00Speaker 8: And the evidence is before people's eyes. So I don't
- 8:03Speaker 8: understand why where you have Carvilla on Why isn't James
- 8:05Speaker 8: Carville out there not just you know, wondering about crazy ais.
- 8:10Speaker 8: Why didn't he go out and set up a responsible,
- 8:12Speaker 8: moderate democratic group to oppose all these socials. That's what
- 8:16Speaker 8: Clinton did in the nineties.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that's very interesting.
- 8:19Speaker 5: They run a good co op on Shaddock Avenue, though,
- 8:21Speaker 5: that good pizza place.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Do you get a lot of.
- 8:23Speaker 8: You good for there is a great collective. The collectives
- 8:26Speaker 8: good pizza make up pizza. There's no doubt about it.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'm sure you get a lot of warm embraces in Berkeley, California.
- 8:33Speaker 8: I get in line with the homeless and get my
- 8:35Speaker 8: free pizza.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Okay, okay, Hey everyone, I'm Emily Campano. Catch me and
- 8:40Speaker 5: my co hosts, Harris Faulkner and Kaylee Mcanenny on Outnumbered
- 8:44Speaker 5: every weekday at twelve pm Eastern or sets your DVR. Also,
- 8:48Speaker 5: don't forget to subscribe to the Fox News YouTube page
