• 0:00
Speaker 1: Almost one year ago today, I launched the Mighty Society membership, which was something I wanted to do for a very long time, and while it was a wild ride to make that happen, I launched it even when it still needed a lot of work.
• 0:15
Speaker 1: Now, over the past year, the membership has been going through some changes to make sure that it will be helpful to you.
• 0:22
Speaker 1: So today I'm going to reintroduce you to this resource slash learning center.
• 0:27
Speaker 1: That is the key to helping you get your business organized and your systems in place on your own and with my expertise in your back pocket.
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Welcome to the Mind your Time podcast.
• 0:40
Speaker 1: I'm Shannon Baker, your host and coffee aficionado.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: Whether your goal is to increase your side gig income or skill to six figures, you're in the right place.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: You will learn about the tools, actionable strategies and tactics you can use to take back control of your time and life.
• 0:57
Speaker 1: I specialize in helping purpose driven women like yourself work smarter and tap into the growth potential their business holds.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: So if you're ready to make a bigger impact and achieve business growth without being tied to it 24 seven, then stick around.
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: Let's dive into today's topic.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: Well, let me start by giving you a little bit of a backstory about how I pushed through fear, made an investment in my business and got the help that I needed to get some major pieces in place to grow my business.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Now I'm not going to go into all of the details, because I did that in a previous episode where it was basically like a lessons learn reflection.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: I'll put a link to that in the show notes so you can listen to it later.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: But basically I came to a fork in the road in my business where quitting wasn't an option, because I'm just not that person.
• 1:50
Speaker 1: So I remembered the words my mentor always said to me don't quit, shift.
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: So I made a shift.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: So, after validating my ideas, I knew that I needed to do some restructuring in my business, starting with rebranding this podcast, which happened last year.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: I also launched a membership and I launched an audio masterclass, and I did it all at the same time.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Now it was an absolutely crazy idea that I don't recommend, but it was the best way for me to do it and it was really worth all of the work in its pain off.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: Now I'm sharing this with you so that you understand that sometimes we need to stop trying to get things done on our own and we need to hire help to get to where we want to go faster.
• 2:44
Speaker 1: And this is a big deal, because some of you may have the funds to pay for an expert to help you and some of you may not be in the position.
• 2:54
Speaker 1: I was one of those people, but I planned, I saved and I made it happen.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Either way, there are steps that you can take to get what you need to get to where you want.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Now my goal with this podcast is to give you some of the basics that you need to know so that you can get results on your own.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: But the truth is, I know you don't implement everything that I talk about, even when you know you need to.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: That's just the way it goes.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: I'm the same way, and when I created the Mighty Society membership, I created it to be just a one-stop resource center, without me really having to have any touch points in the process or with the members.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: But that didn't work, because if creating workflows and processes and integrating technology isn't what you do, you're going to continue to do things manually, ie working in chaos, if you don't have some type of accountability.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: So I realized that I needed to revamp things a bit and make myself more available to the members, to truly give them exclusive access to me that others don't get.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: My goal with the membership is to make sure that I shorten the learning curve for you when it comes to creating your back office operations, so that you can focus on being more strategic with your business, so that it grows, but, more importantly, that as it grows it runs without you having to be chained to it, so you can actually enjoy life outside of the office and away from your business.
• 4:29
Speaker 1: So are you ready to get off the struggle bus and get things done?
• 4:34
Speaker 1: Well, if you are, whether you're just starting your business or you've been in business for years, you know I understand the frustrations of disorganization, having to constantly search for answers online, and that's why this membership is designed to support you, no matter where you are in your journey.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: It will help you improve your technical skills, which you should always be doing.
• 4:57
Speaker 1: You'll learn how to streamline your operations and you'll connect to a private and supportive community.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: I was very intentional in the way that I created this membership, because I know online courses just damn right boring and, if you're like me, you don't finish them anyway.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: And when it comes to creating systems, I've learned every business is different.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: Don't let anyone convince you of anything, otherwise, no blueprint or cookie cutter solution is going to work for everyone.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: It needs to be customized to each individual person in business and, besides, if documenting your processes and integrating technology into your workflow isn't your strong suit, then you really need access to someone that can guide you through the process and help you over those hurdles when you get stuck.
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: That's me.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: The mighty society is going to shorten the learning curve, save you time and connect you to a private and supportive community of purpose-driven women, and you get access to me at a price point that fits a little better into your budget, until you can work directly with me on a VIP day.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: Now I know that you want your business to be a source of financial stability, give you fulfillment, provide satisfaction for you so that you can enjoy time with your family and friends, but in order for that to happen, it has to be organized, profitable and run like a well-oiled machine, and without systems, I know that's not happening.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: You really need to leverage your time and energy and work smarter, not harder, but that means you have to invest the time and resources into building sustainable systems that support the growth you desire.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Now Think about the next few things I'm going to say.
• 6:52
Speaker 1: Do any of these describe you Right now?
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Do you feel overwhelmed, disorganized and that's hindering your productivity?
• 7:02
Speaker 1: Do you spend way too much time on routine tasks instead of focusing on your business growth?
• 7:08
Speaker 1: Do you lack efficient systems that are streamlined?
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Do you want to build a team but lack the knowledge and resources to do it effectively?
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Have you started building a team and everyone's operating in chaos because none of your processes are documented?
• 7:26
Speaker 1: Are you tired of searching for solutions online and not finding the answers that fit your business?
• 7:33
Speaker 1: If one or more of these sound like you, you're not alone.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: I had you in mind when I created the Mighty Society, because I realized I'm in a unique position to offer a different kind of support, education and accountability, and I haven't seen anything like this in the online space.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: When you join the Mighty Society, you're going to get access to bite-sized lessons, templates that are already created for you that you can customize and make them fit your specific needs.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: And again, that's whether you just started your business or you've been in business for years.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: You'll get practical guidance to help you establish and update any systems you already have so that they support sustainable growth.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: You'll also learn how to leverage technology, regardless of your expertise level, and you'll be a part of a supportive community of like-minded business owners, whether they're new or seasoned, so that you can exchange ideas with them, get support and even bounce ideas off of someone else.
• 8:41
Speaker 1: But you don't have to take my word for it.
• 8:45
Speaker 1: Krista Hutchins, who has been in my community for a number of years, was frustrated, trying to find the right solution to streamline her back office, and she wanted to start to focus on growing her membership and retreats in some other things.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: But without systems, she knew she wouldn't be able to do so.
• 9:03
Speaker 1: She had wasted countless hours searching for the right resources.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: When she couldn't find them, she finally booked a back office assessment with me and decided that when she got her custom action plan, she wanted to self-implement using the Mighty Society membership.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: Now, if you're new to the podcast, the back office assessment, or solo power assessment, is a two-hour recorded call with me and I get all up in your business to collect the data that I need to identify areas in your back office that need improvement, and I created a customized action plan to help you improve that.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: But the assessment also helps you identify any roadblocks or obstacles that may be holding you back from achieving your goals, and with a personalized plan and a clear roadmap, you can take your business to the next level and achieve the success that you've been wanting for some time.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: And after you get your custom action plan, you have the option of booking a VIP day with me to get some of the systems implemented that I point out that you need right away.
• 10:07
Speaker 1: Or you can self-implement with the resources inside of the Mighty Society, or you can walk away, put it on the shelf and let it collect that store.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Thank you, take a stab at it on your own.
• 10:18
Speaker 1: It's up to you Now to learn more about the assessment.
• 10:21
Speaker 1: Just go to theshannonbakercom forward slash assessment.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: Now back to Krista.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: She chose again to self-implement with the membership and this is what she had to say, and I quote the mighty society membership contains great resources for someone who's starting out at getting their systems in place.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: I love that.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: There are stripped down videos that give you just what you need to know to get started, which can save you hours of Googling and YouTube.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: When I first joined, I clicked around a little bit, but mostly went straight to what I was looking for it is so easy to navigate.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: I can find exactly what I'm looking for when I need it, end quote.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: So think about that for a second Now.
• 11:07
Speaker 1: Imagine the time and effort that you can save by having access to the resources that you need at your fingertips to neatly organize and easily accessible in one place.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: With the resources inside of the mighty society, you can transform your back office operations in just 30 minutes a week.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: So I'm going to take a little bit of time to kind of give you a sneak peek of some of the resources.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: There is a entrepreneurial journey roadmap, which identifies the systems that you need from startup all the way into growing your business and scaling your business.
• 11:53
Speaker 1: There are goal-setting worksheets that not only help you pick the right goal, but help you create a plan so that you can achieve that goal and get closer to it in 90 days.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: There's a BizOps checklist that will help you do a quick audit of your operations to see what gaps you need to fill in so you can build a solid foundation that supports your growth.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: There is a workbook to help you map out your process in five steps, and that includes templates and swipe files.
• 12:21
Speaker 1: There's also a workbook Six Steps to Get Beyond Inbox Zero, which will help you take back control of your inbox so that you have time to focus on what matters most in your business.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: There's a marketing-matric analyzer that you can use to analyze the offers that you have and pick the right one so that you can create a strategic plan and boost your revenue.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: As I mentioned, those are just a few of the resources that are in there.
• 12:54
Speaker 1: Let me take a moment to emphasize again this membership is created for you, whether you are just starting your business or you've been in business for years.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: I wanted to create that type of support because I know I was looking for online along my journey and I couldn't find it.
• 13:09
Speaker 1: And the type of support I'm referring to is strategic, high touch, customized, community-based, honest, collaborative and accessible, and not cost you a lot of money that you don't have, which counts you out from getting the help that you need.
• 13:28
Speaker 1: But by joining this membership, you will be inspired, challenged, it's going to save you time, you'll build professional relationships, friendships.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: Even, most importantly, you're going to get unstuck, get out of the weeds and you'll be in a position to get more qualified clients so that your business grows.
• 13:50
Speaker 1: And the great thing about it is.
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: It's not a Facebook group.
• 13:54
Speaker 1: I created it on a platform called Heartbeat, which also has a mobile app.
• 13:59
Speaker 1: I wanted it to be in a space where it was free of all the distractions and limitations that you experience on Facebook, and I'm in control of a lot of the pieces the way it's set up and even the way that you engage with the content.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: So I want you to be able to go into the Mighty Society membership and be very intentional with your time.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: That's how it's organized and if you ever need my help, think of me as the SOS button.
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: Just push it.
• 14:29
Speaker 1: Let me know what you're looking for and if it's not in there, more than likely I may be able to create that for you.
• 14:34
Speaker 1: So when you're ready to focus on your business, you just log into the app, go where you need to go and get things done without distractions, and again, you can make so much progress in just 30 minutes a week.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: If you don't believe me, try it out for yourself.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: So what do you think?
• 14:55
Speaker 1: I would love to hear from you whether you decide to join the Mighty Society membership or not.
