- 0:15Speaker 2: Get a feeling.
- 0:21Speaker 3: I'm just having a bite of did you did you?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Did you hear that?
- 0:28Speaker 4: No? I heard it?
- 0:28Speaker 2: All right, God almighty? Okay, carry on. You had a
- 0:33Speaker 2: bite of?
- 0:33Speaker 4: What a Snickers bar?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Right? Okay?
- 0:36Speaker 4: Really a little many one? You're not you and you're hungry, muggie,
- 0:40Speaker 4: And I'm.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Interestingly my wife, who loves chocolate, the one bar she
- 0:46Speaker 5: doesn't like his Snickers, And it's always the one I
- 0:49Speaker 5: end up buying here when I'm trying to think of
- 0:51Speaker 5: what to buy here for a chocolate treat.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Why would you do that?
- 0:55Speaker 5: It's like a mental default deficiency deficiency?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Is it because you've got it because it's the front
- 1:05Speaker 3: of your mind because it's the one that she doesn't.
- 1:07Speaker 4: So I don't mention the water.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Exactly, and then I bring it home and she'll always
- 1:12Speaker 5: do the same thing, going, idiot, I don't like Snickers,
- 1:16Speaker 5: And I go, oh, yeah, I knew this.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Snickers doesn't really satisfy.
- 1:19Speaker 2: No, are they the ones with nuts in them?
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like them either.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I like them me too, and a few of them
- 1:26Speaker 4: they cheers pigs.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Hey, you help yourself, brother, did there was a birthday
- 1:29Speaker 3: gift from the office few snickers.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Did you get a cake?
- 1:33Speaker 3: I did get a cake.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Get a cake.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I'm sorry you went here to enjoy it with me, Jason.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That's okay. Cake. Was it a bit dry?
- 1:39Speaker 3: It was dense?
- 1:41Speaker 4: It was actually pretty good, yeah, very thick. Well you
- 1:44Speaker 4: can see how people get in behind a cake, I
- 1:46Speaker 4: really can. And that's why I'm stained from a cake, right,
- 1:49Speaker 4: because once you get into it, you just eat because
- 1:51Speaker 4: it's just it's it's a shocking bastard.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah, sugar, Well you get it like a cho mud
- 1:58Speaker 5: cake or something like that.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Once I start, she's all over.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I had today because after what happened today at the
- 2:07Speaker 4: office there talk about on the show. Do I tell
- 2:11Speaker 4: the truth here and lie on the show.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Either? All maybe I went and bought.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Some cupcakes to apologize to everybody in the building that
- 2:21Speaker 4: got evacuated out onto the street.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Very nice of you, by the way.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Three fire engines, fifteen fire people, all women were men,
- 2:31Speaker 4: but they are fire people.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I don't know how much that's going to cost me.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Yeah, wonders about that fifteen hundred bucks maybe, yeah, I would.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Not happy about it. The guy, the guy, he won't
- 2:54Speaker 4: be coming back. So we've got a handy man. I
- 2:56Speaker 4: get a handy man, and I can do odd jobs
- 2:59Speaker 4: around the place, and normally it has been pretty good.
- 3:02Speaker 4: The one if I could say that, he had a fault,
- 3:05Speaker 4: and it's that he's one of those guys that complains
- 3:08Speaker 4: about the fact that it's his job. Oh yeah, you
- 3:11Speaker 4: know what I mean. So it's like, oh, do you
- 3:14Speaker 4: want me to do that? It's like, well, you could
- 3:15Speaker 4: not do it, but then you wouldn't be here and
- 3:17Speaker 4: then you'd be getting no money. Yes, so I got
- 3:19Speaker 4: you here to do this. If you don't do it,
- 3:22Speaker 4: I don't know why you ever advertise yourself to do
- 3:25Speaker 4: this job. Because every time I bring some summer garp,
- 3:28Speaker 4: it's like I literally said to him, it's like talking
- 3:30Speaker 4: to my six year old. It's like no, but he's
- 3:34Speaker 4: like he's constantly trying to find a problem, and then
- 3:36Speaker 4: there's like a passive aggressive laugh as well, he's okay, okay,
- 3:44Speaker 4: he does the invoice? Is it exactly? And in fact
- 3:46Speaker 4: I had to put him up on that as well,
- 3:47Speaker 4: because he was in voice and I was like, well,
- 3:49Speaker 4: you're there for an hour. I'm just trying to work
- 3:50Speaker 4: out how it's it's gotten to this march.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Ah.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I know we'll make it blah blah, it's right, yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 4: don't y yeah. Yeah. And then today he got to
- 4:02Speaker 4: the end of the list and there was like three
- 4:04Speaker 4: things that he didn't get to because the fire engines
- 4:07Speaker 4: came yes, and and that put us back a bit
- 4:09Speaker 4: of time there. And I said, there's still these three
- 4:12Speaker 4: things to do, and he sort of looked at me
- 4:15Speaker 4: and I said, but I guess we could do it agains, Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 4: I think you can. He's like, he's got no interest
- 4:21Speaker 4: in doing it. It's like, I know why this guy
- 4:24Speaker 4: works by himself. Yes, yes, because he's just fucking he
- 4:28Speaker 4: winds me up so much anyway. So I need to
- 4:30Speaker 4: find out a backbone trade that just likes to do
- 4:35Speaker 4: his job. But hit me up, yeah, dilabet, Yeah, hit
- 4:38Speaker 4: me up on on Instagram or something. I just need.
- 4:41Speaker 4: We have our jobs all the time. I don't have
- 4:43Speaker 4: time to do them. I don't have the skill to
- 4:44Speaker 4: do them. I just want someone to turn up and
- 4:46Speaker 4: do it and not be a fuckward about it.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Yes, I've been I've been pretty fortunate on the trading
- 4:52Speaker 5: front of Lakes.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Actually, I've had one shocker.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Where it was, you know, I got some work done
- 4:59Speaker 5: around the house and and then I got the invoice
- 5:01Speaker 5: and it was like, excuse.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Me, Yeah, did I do anything about it?
- 5:04Speaker 4: Though?
- 5:05Speaker 2: No, I just paid it.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Just pay it. But you can also do that and
- 5:09Speaker 4: be done with it. But I Yeah. The other thing
- 5:11Speaker 4: that happened today. So the other thing was he took
- 5:13Speaker 4: there's a door, right, So there's a door in the
- 5:15Speaker 4: bathroom in our office and it sort of slides, it
- 5:18Speaker 4: grinds against the floor. Yes, and so when we first
- 5:22Speaker 4: moved in it was like that. So I got the
- 5:23Speaker 4: landlord to sort that. Anyway, it's back doing that again.
- 5:25Speaker 4: So he's just gone, He'll just fucking take ten mil
- 5:28Speaker 4: off the bottom of the door, so it's all good.
- 5:30Speaker 4: He took it out onto the street to do it
- 5:33Speaker 4: the whole door, which I thought was a fucking I said,
- 5:37Speaker 4: take it around the corner end. There's a car park there.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, straight out on the street. I was like,
- 5:41Speaker 4: I could hear the I could hear the skill saw
- 5:44Speaker 4: going this is on the He just did it on
- 5:48Speaker 4: the street. And then as I left, you know, as
- 5:51Speaker 4: you go up the stairs on the left hand side,
- 5:53Speaker 4: there's a concrete rigid. There's a concrete wall on the
- 5:56Speaker 4: left of bread wall. Yeah, yeah, but it's sort of crumbly.
- 5:59Speaker 4: And I when I left for the day, there's just
- 6:01Speaker 4: this concrete from this wall just all over the stairs.
- 6:05Speaker 4: So he came out with the door grounded against the wall,
- 6:09Speaker 4: scraped all this concrete off it, which ruins the look
- 6:12Speaker 4: of it, and then went on apparently because someone saw
- 6:15Speaker 4: him do it, and then didn't say ship to me
- 6:17Speaker 4: and didn't clean it up.
- 6:18Speaker 2: What the hell, man, this is?
- 6:20Speaker 4: It was unreal. I would never have gone back if
- 6:23Speaker 4: he was like this before, But he just didn't give
- 6:25Speaker 4: a ship. The whole Lucky Big Show one days from
- 6:29Speaker 4: four on Radio Hurarchy They Big Show Podcast.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Do you think that maybe you'd offended him and so
- 6:38Speaker 5: he was being pictures?
- 6:39Speaker 4: Well, no, because I don't know how you get offended
- 6:45Speaker 4: when you're you've been asked to do the work that
- 6:48Speaker 4: you know, yes, and perhaps asked to do the job
- 6:52Speaker 4: that he was hired to do. Yes, But just like
- 6:54Speaker 4: he was doing honestly, he was doing ship. He was
- 6:57Speaker 4: making mistakes that I would make. Yeah, it was out
- 7:01Speaker 4: the gate. That was out the gate, and that was
- 7:04Speaker 4: all timer I got to say.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Yeah, well you'll still get We got a message from
- 7:15Speaker 5: our tenants actually just on doors, saying can we remove
- 7:19Speaker 5: the doors and then sort of fit them back on
- 7:22Speaker 5: again because one of them scrapes right, And it was like, well, yes,
- 7:27Speaker 5: the only thing about our doors at our house is
- 7:29Speaker 5: they're really old. They're like twenty year old doors, and
- 7:32Speaker 5: they're like old school doors and really heavy. And the
- 7:36Speaker 5: reason we didn't do that is because they're an absolute
- 7:38Speaker 5: preck to get back on again, right problem. And then
- 7:41Speaker 5: we said well, yeah, but this is why we didn't
- 7:45Speaker 5: do it, because they're really hard to get back on again.
- 7:47Speaker 5: And then we didn't hear back from them, so I
- 7:49Speaker 5: don't know if they did or didn't.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Well, if you said yeah, then they'll probably do it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah, probably. Yeah. I wonder if i'll get an invoice
- 7:55Speaker 2: for that, you know what?
- 7:56Speaker 1: I like?
- 7:58Speaker 5: Oh shit, it's right now, but they're going eight game.
- 8:00Speaker 5: It's great tenants. In case they're listening, yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 4: And in case this guy's listening, backbone.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, massive back awesome fellas he's listening.
- 8:10Speaker 4: No trade is in my place. Guys.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, did you hear about pads?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Oh my god, oh your car?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah, literally got it out of the mechanics like a
- 8:20Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago.
- 8:21Speaker 4: What kind of care.
- 8:24Speaker 3: No, it's like an old Atarazuki Vitara.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Old Vatara nineties. Yeah, I could sick.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but not that sick.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I mean, it's obviously it's not just sick.
- 8:36Speaker 3: I took it into the mechanic a couple of weeks ago,
- 8:38Speaker 3: and he had it for like four days, and I
- 8:40Speaker 3: was like, fuck, it's get a massive but I'm not
- 8:43Speaker 3: shitting myself, calling him each day for an update. But
- 8:45Speaker 3: he just couldn't figure out what the issue was. I
- 8:48Speaker 3: had given him like a symptom of what Chat had
- 8:50Speaker 3: told me, like just a bit of research, very basic.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I just said, oh, this season might be this with
- 8:55Speaker 3: these cars. I don't know, you're the expert. Anyway, He couldn't.
- 9:00Speaker 3: He couldn't figure it out. Gave me back my character
- 9:02Speaker 3: four days after he fixed the symptom, I mean, the
- 9:06Speaker 3: the probable cause that I'd found. So he sorted that
- 9:09Speaker 3: out and it was sweet airs And then today it's
- 9:11Speaker 3: just shat it. Like I literally pulled into the street
- 9:15Speaker 3: here and it just went died and I rolled like
- 9:19Speaker 3: a silent Preus down Graham Street and plopped into a
- 9:22Speaker 3: park there, so so hopefully having a little rest and
- 9:26Speaker 3: then I'll be able to get home.
- 9:28Speaker 2: There's something heartbreaking about a car breaking down. There's something
- 9:35Speaker 2: I have never.
- 9:36Speaker 4: I have never in my life had a car break
- 9:38Speaker 4: down on me until these two in the last however long,
- 9:42Speaker 4: it's right so good, never had it.
- 9:44Speaker 5: My wife and I bought a Hundi Ponyeh the fuck
- 9:49Speaker 5: is that? A Hundy pony for like eight hundred bucks and.
- 9:54Speaker 4: It Broke'll be listening to this them and it broke.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Down like five hundred meters from the guy's house and
- 10:01Speaker 2: it had like a crack chassis.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yes?
- 10:04Speaker 5: And we were like what the fuck man? And he
- 10:06Speaker 5: was like, I don't know, man, It's been going fine
- 10:09Speaker 5: for me. Fucking So we took it to the mechanic
- 10:15Speaker 5: and it was another like twelve hundred dollars or something
- 10:17Speaker 5: to fix it up, and we bought it for eight hundred.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And you know, this is when we were young.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Fuck, it's really good. I don't stand for that. I'll
- 10:28Speaker 4: say that much. It's perfect timing.
- 10:30Speaker 5: I don't use my car anymore pugs he could use that.
- 10:33Speaker 5: What do you run the Exler?
- 10:36Speaker 4: I do love an Exller.
- 10:37Speaker 6: Why don't you get my Equa just to do a
- 10:44Speaker 6: Moggi and just leave it on the side of the road.
- 10:46Speaker 6: But then is still yeah, oh well no, no, I've
- 10:50Speaker 6: got it.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I've got it toad to outside my house right, But
- 10:53Speaker 4: then I've got the Equa because I don't want to
- 10:56Speaker 4: pay for parking or anything, so I've got that mates
- 11:00Speaker 4: outside of mates play some point chev So I need
- 11:03Speaker 4: to get rid of that and then fix mine, which
- 11:06Speaker 4: apparently will cost two to two and a half, including
- 11:09Speaker 4: a brand new a new engine new to me, not
- 11:12Speaker 4: new to the world, but that that'll do me. And
- 11:15Speaker 4: as my missus is, last night we nearly got into
- 11:18Speaker 4: an argument about it. Yes, where she goes, oh, you
- 11:22Speaker 4: got to fix the Equer. I was like, no, I
- 11:24Speaker 4: don't like the Equa because it's constantly breaking down, and
- 11:27Speaker 4: she said, well, but that's only because of the battery.
- 11:29Speaker 4: I said, yeah, and in the space of twelve months
- 11:32Speaker 4: we've been through two batteries. So I don't want to
- 11:34Speaker 4: get another battery and have that fuck out as well. Yes,
- 11:37Speaker 4: So I said, I just want the teat because we've
- 11:39Speaker 4: never had any issues with it, and we'll have a
- 11:41Speaker 4: new engine. I'm happy with the tea. I said, you've
- 11:43Speaker 4: got your kye of your care, have my care. She goes, well,
- 11:45Speaker 4: I'm gonna she goes, well, I'm going to fix up
- 11:48Speaker 4: the equa and I'm going to sell it. And I
- 11:52Speaker 4: said right, and she goes and I'm going to keep
- 11:54Speaker 4: more than money. Good luck with it's a man? Sorry
- 12:06Speaker 4: this all week?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Are you being serious?
- 12:13Speaker 4: Mate? One thing after the other. A listener of hers.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Have a Toledos?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, finish.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Well heaven and should I have a Toledos? There you
- 12:27Speaker 4: go five out of ten?
- 12:31Speaker 3: Oh, listen to the big show for us in weekdays

- 13:07Speaker 2: You still can do that. There'll be maybe a little
- 13:09Speaker 2: bit later on, you know what I mean.
