Hold Loosely, Follow Fully | Luke 18

Charcoal Fire Bible Study · Oct 30, 2025 · 1h 9m

In this teaching Pastor Bill explains how Luke 18 strings together scenes that redefine faith. A widow’s persistence says, “Pray and don’t lose heart.” A tax collector’s simple, honest prayer beats religious performance. Children remind us the kingdom is received, not earned. A wealthy ruler shows how good things can become ultimate things—and how surrender invites the “impossible” of God. On the way to the cross, Jesus opens a blind man’s eyes. Today: pray persistently, walk humbly, hold loosely, follow Jesus.
