- 0:10Speaker 1: By the way, we always love hearing from you too.
- 0:12Speaker 1: If you want to send us an email or just
- 0:15Speaker 1: go to go to my website marksimone dot com, marksimone
- 0:20Speaker 1: dot com, hit the email button there and make sure
- 0:23Speaker 1: you follow me on Instagram and all of that. Speaking
- 0:26Speaker 1: of which, what is the most instagrammed city in the world.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Most instagrammable city in the world where people put up
- 0:35Speaker 1: pictures of the most instagrammable city in the world. Researchers
- 0:39Speaker 1: analyzed over eight hundred and ninety million Instagram posts featuring
- 0:46Speaker 1: whatever location was being used the most in instagrams in
- 0:50Speaker 1: the world. Number one New York City. New York City
- 0:55Speaker 1: actually the most instagrammable city in the US. Now this
- 0:58Speaker 1: is very important because nowadays that's the way you do business,
- 1:02Speaker 1: that's the way you get tourism. You know, remember the
- 1:04Speaker 1: old days they run that I Love New York campaign.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You'd run these TV commercials to get tourists to come
- 1:10Speaker 1: visit New York. It's a big source of revenue. It's
- 1:13Speaker 1: very important. But nowadays, you know, very few people watch
- 1:17Speaker 1: TV anymore, network TV. So Instagram is the biggest way
- 1:21Speaker 1: to generate business tourism. Same thing with the restaurants. Used
- 1:25Speaker 1: to be you'd hope to get that New York Times
- 1:28Speaker 1: restaurant review. Oh, that would put you on them, but
- 1:30Speaker 1: it doesn't mean anymore. You can get the biggest, greatest
- 1:33Speaker 1: review in the New York Times and nobody will show up.
- 1:35Speaker 1: But you get the right Instagram accounts and you're all
- 1:37Speaker 1: over Instagram. There's a line out the door the next day.
- 1:41Speaker 1: So New York being the most Instagram city in the
- 1:44Speaker 1: world is very very important. Number of posts for each
- 1:49Speaker 1: city was counted and they divided all that, but New
- 1:52Speaker 1: York City boasted over one hundred and eighty three million
- 1:55Speaker 1: Instagram posts. Biggest things where the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center,
- 1:59Speaker 1: Christmas Tree, butt shots all over New York. Now it's
- 2:03Speaker 1: important in New York because last year we got sixty
- 2:06Speaker 1: two million travelers, sixty two million people spending money here.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Very very important for the economy. Hey, you know the
- 2:14Speaker 1: French president Sarkozzi married to Carla Bruni. You know French
- 2:20Speaker 1: president Sarkozi. You know he was convicted, Yeah, convicted of
- 2:25Speaker 1: conspiring to raise campaign funds from Libya. I don't know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: but he got convicted and he was sentenced to five years. Well,
- 2:32Speaker 1: he went to prison this week. It's hard to believe
- 2:35Speaker 1: the president of France went to prison. In France, it's
- 2:39Speaker 1: like seeing an American president go to prison. You know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: when they were trying to get Donald Trump, when they
- 2:44Speaker 1: weaponized the justice system and had him on trial in
- 2:48Speaker 1: four cities at the same time, Remember, they started to speculate, well,
- 2:52Speaker 1: what would happen if he got sentenced to prison. How
- 2:55Speaker 1: would you put someone who's an ex president under the
- 2:58Speaker 1: protection of the Secret Service? How would you put them
- 3:00Speaker 1: in prison? And there were different theories on that they'd
- 3:03Speaker 1: have to send the Secret Service in with them to
- 3:05Speaker 1: protect them, or they'd have to his prison would have
- 3:09Speaker 1: to be a special setup somewhere where the Secret Service guards. Well,
- 3:13Speaker 1: France had to deal with this question. They sent one
- 3:15Speaker 1: of their presidents to prison, Nicholas Sarkozzi. He's in prison.
- 3:19Speaker 1: What they did was they sent two police officers with
- 3:22Speaker 1: them at all times to guard him in prison. So
- 3:25Speaker 1: he's in a private area of the prison. He's in
- 3:29Speaker 1: a cell, but in a nearby cell are two policemen
- 3:35Speaker 1: to guard him, their version of the secret service, So
- 3:39Speaker 1: we'll make sure nothing can happen to him while he's
- 3:41Speaker 1: in prison, The Interior ministers told the europe Born Radio.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Two police officers they're actually part of the security detail
- 3:50Speaker 1: that protects former president, so it's actually their secret service,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and they'll be stationed permanently in neighboring cells to keep
- 3:58Speaker 1: an eye on him. Hey, you know, Chuck Schumer's in
- 4:01Speaker 1: big trouble, big trouble. This guy's got no chance of
- 4:04Speaker 1: getting reelected to anything ever. He knows it. I guess
- 4:11Speaker 1: it's is it next year? Yeah, it's next year. So
- 4:14Speaker 1: when it happens, I don't know what he does. We'll
- 4:16Speaker 1: even try to run now, scaring him off even more.
- 4:20Speaker 1: AOC is the one most likely to run against him,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and she's raised a very impressive twelve million just in
- 4:27Speaker 1: the last period, twelve million just recently. So she's up
- 4:32Speaker 1: now to twenty one million. So in this last fundraising
- 4:36Speaker 1: period she raised twelve million. Now listen to this, she
- 4:40Speaker 1: raised twelve million. Schumer raised one hundred and thirty three thousand.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I think that tells you the whole story right there.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Let me repeat that she raised twelve million. Schumer raised
- 4:53Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty three thousand. So he's finished. He's
- 4:55Speaker 1: got to get out. She has twenty one million dollars
- 4:59Speaker 1: on hand right now. Schumer has eight million dollars on hand,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and she's already spent. She's actually serious about this. She's
- 5:07Speaker 1: actually spent millions on social media. You know, you could
- 5:13Speaker 1: look like you're a great instagrammer and all that, but
- 5:15Speaker 1: you could also spend a lot of money to make
- 5:17Speaker 1: sure your Instagram and your TikTok and your everything is
- 5:21Speaker 1: going all over the place. And she's been spending millions
- 5:23Speaker 1: on that. That's actually more important now than TV commercials
- 5:27Speaker 1: or anything. But she spent a lot of money on
- 5:30Speaker 1: fundraising ads, which which will help her bring in even
- 5:33Speaker 1: more money. She's actually now the highest spending political advertiser
- 5:38Speaker 1: on Facebook and Instagram nationwide. Now, this is the problem
- 5:43Speaker 1: for Democrats. You got these crazies taken over the party,
- 5:47Speaker 1: from Donnie to AOC, the far left taken over the
- 5:50Speaker 1: party if they want to ever get back to the
- 5:52Speaker 1: White House. We've seen this before historically, and it goes
- 5:57Speaker 1: on for a couple of years. But then what has
- 5:59Speaker 1: to happen is a centrist has to show up, like
- 6:02Speaker 1: a Bill Clinton. Same thing happened there. Bill Clinton showed
- 6:05Speaker 1: up and showed the party the way back towards the center,
- 6:09Speaker 1: and that's how they got the White House back. Now
- 6:13Speaker 1: we haven't seen that centrist. You got this crazy JB. Pritzker,
- 6:17Speaker 1: you got the new scum, and you got all the
- 6:19Speaker 1: So we haven't seen the centrist show up yet. But
- 6:21Speaker 1: even Bill Maher, who's the one Democrat who sometimes talks
- 6:26Speaker 1: common sense to them, he said this week you need
- 6:30Speaker 1: a return to the old America. He tells the left
- 6:32Speaker 1: to scale back the radical ideology. And he said, the
- 6:37Speaker 1: smug self righteousness, the smug self righteousness is turning a
- 6:42Speaker 1: lot of people off. Stop coming up with radically new
- 6:45Speaker 1: and terrible ideas and in the next breath yelling and screaming,
- 6:49Speaker 1: there's no debate. You have to do it because when
- 6:52Speaker 1: you got conservatives, you got liberals, but you got the
- 6:54Speaker 1: people in the middle, and that's who Democrats are losing
- 6:56Speaker 1: with this far left nonsense. And he said, you know
- 6:59Speaker 1: you're not gonna We're not going along with reinventing society,
- 7:02Speaker 1: often pointlessly we're not canceling anything. We're not in the
- 7:07Speaker 1: transgender you know, for teenagers, for children. It's all ridiculous,
- 7:11Speaker 1: open borders. It's all backfired on them. And then Mars
- 7:16Speaker 1: says the real problem Democrats have and again the middle
- 7:19Speaker 1: the independence turned off by this, the Democrats total unwillingness
- 7:23Speaker 1: to debate anything, just yelling and screaming and angry at everybody.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And stop telling people math is racist, stop with the
- 7:31Speaker 1: queers for Palestine, stop the looting is cool. Stop the
- 7:36Speaker 1: men's football team playing the women's team. He says, it's
- 7:39Speaker 1: just smug, self righteous, idiotic. Again, it's starting. It's going
- 7:44Speaker 1: to take another year process. Usually what has to happen.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Democrats will have to get wiped out in the midterms,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and then the far left will lose all their clout
- 7:53Speaker 1: within the democratic world. And then that Bill Clinton, moderate type,
- 7:57Speaker 1: common sense, old fashioned Democrat then will rise up and
- 8:02Speaker 1: take the party back towards the center. But we'll see
- 8:05Speaker 1: what happens. Hey, we're we're in the weekend already, and
- 8:08Speaker 1: it's early voting starting this weekend. Early voting. You need
- 8:13Speaker 1: a huge turnout race to that's the only way Mom
- 8:16Speaker 1: Donnie loses huge huge turnout. Republicans have to show up
- 8:20Speaker 1: in big numbers. Independents have to show up in big numbers,
- 8:24Speaker 1: So very important. Make sure you get out and vote.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Get everybody you know to get out and vote. Also,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you got a couple other races you can also make
- 8:32Speaker 1: a big difference. Even if you get stuck with Mom Donnie.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You can make a big difference by throwing out a
- 8:37Speaker 1: lot of city council members. You got a lot of
- 8:40Speaker 1: Republicans running from city council. Just switch city council, get
- 8:45Speaker 1: rid of some of these left wing koops, bring in
- 8:46Speaker 1: some Republicans, put some balance on the city council. That'll help. Also,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you got the world's craziest district attorney, Alvin Bragg, whose
- 8:55Speaker 1: whole thing is let the criminals out. You can get
- 8:58Speaker 1: rid of him in a way week and have that's
- 9:01Speaker 1: a key race. Maud Maren she's the Republican candidate. She's
- 9:04Speaker 1: really a Democrat for years, but common sense likes to
- 9:08Speaker 1: put the criminals in jail where they belong. Get rid
- 9:11Speaker 1: of Alvin Bragg, vote for Maud marrin or district attorney.
- 9:15Speaker 1: That will make a big difference in the crime problem.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Speaking of crime, Leticia James pleads not guilty in court.
- 9:22Speaker 1: She's gonna have a tough time, though, very tough time.
- 9:25Speaker 1: That documents make her look awfully guilty of mortgage fraud.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And who's next, Well, Adam Schiff has got a he's
- 9:33Speaker 1: probably keeping a good eye on this case because he's
- 9:35Speaker 1: gonna have the same problem, same sort of mortgage fraud,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you know, lying on these applications claiming it's a primary residence.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Everybody thinks Adam Schiff will be next to face charges.
- 9:46Speaker 1: So now they're going to say the same thing. It's lawfair.
- 9:50Speaker 1: The definition of lawfair is you're on trail trial in
- 9:53Speaker 1: four different cities at the same time from the administration.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know, the so zempic is everywhere. There's more ozempic
- 10:01Speaker 1: than ever before. There's a bunch of these things. It's ozampic,
- 10:04Speaker 1: there's a GOV there's what's the other one. There's like
- 10:08Speaker 1: four of them now that are big. They're so big.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Costco Costco is getting into the ozempic business. Can you
- 10:16Speaker 1: imagine this everything at Costco? The sizes so it'd probably
- 10:20Speaker 1: be like a shopping cart size full of ozempic. But
- 10:25Speaker 1: it's very expensive. This ozempic. You know, it's like thirteen
- 10:28Speaker 1: hundred bucks a shot, and I guess you'd take it
- 10:30Speaker 1: every week, but it's very, very expensive. But ozempic now
- 10:35Speaker 1: being sold at Costco it's actually a four week supply. Now,
- 10:40Speaker 1: this is pretty amazing. A four week supply for five
- 10:42Speaker 1: hundred dollars. That's like one hundred and twenty five bucks
- 10:44Speaker 1: a week a shot. That's like one tenth of what
- 10:47Speaker 1: it normally is. It's at more than six hundred Costco
- 10:51Speaker 1: pharmacies nationwide. Shoppers will need a valid prescription and you've
- 10:55Speaker 1: got to be enrolled in the Costco Member prescription program,
- 11:00Speaker 1: you see. That's what it's all about. They want you
- 11:03Speaker 1: to it's such a great bargain. They're probably losing money
- 11:06Speaker 1: on it, but it'll get you to enroll and start
- 11:09Speaker 1: getting your other prescriptions. Costco wanting to take over the
- 11:12Speaker 1: prescription business. That's what it's really all about. They call
- 11:15Speaker 1: what they call it a lost leader. It's like the
- 11:17Speaker 1: Costco hot dog, which is actually the most delicious hot
- 11:20Speaker 1: dog in the world, and they lose money on it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You have to go to Costco and eat it there.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's phenomenal, even the bun. It's the best hot dog
- 11:28Speaker 1: bun ever, but you got to go order it there,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and it's just a great way to get you in
- 11:32Speaker 1: the store and keep you coming back. It really really
- 11:35Speaker 1: does work. Yeah. Now the problem, the only problem. You
- 11:40Speaker 1: got to remember this is when it comes to this ozempic,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you get what's called ozempic face. You know, it's like sagging.
- 11:46Speaker 1: If you see this with people they go on ozempic,
- 11:48Speaker 1: they lose weight, body looks great, but they look older.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Their face looks older, their skin looks older. Plastic surgeons
- 11:53Speaker 1: have been telling me ozempic is the best thing for
- 11:56Speaker 1: their business because after they lose the weight on ozempic,
- 11:59Speaker 1: they got to come to a plastic surgeon get the
- 12:00Speaker 1: face cleaned up. The other thing is dentists are now
- 12:04Speaker 1: reporting ozembic teeth. It can cause a lot of problems
- 12:07Speaker 1: with your teeth, with your gums. So before you think
- 12:11Speaker 1: about that, just bear all that in mind. Hey, I
- 12:15Speaker 1: Love Lucy. That was like the first big major like
- 12:19Speaker 1: that was the Seinfeld of the fifties. In other words,
- 12:22Speaker 1: everybody everybody watched I Love Lucy. He was so big
- 12:25Speaker 1: nineteen fifties. You remember Fred Mertz with the pants. Remember
- 12:29Speaker 1: the pants came all the way up to his chest,
- 12:31Speaker 1: all the way up to his breasts. The pants were
- 12:33Speaker 1: pulled so far up ethel Fred Mertz. Do you know
- 12:36Speaker 1: there's only one person left alive from I Love Lucy?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Only one cast member is alive today. Take a guess. Yeah, absolutely,
- 12:46Speaker 1: it's a little Ricky, A little Ricky who is His
- 12:50Speaker 1: name is Keith Thibodeaux, although he used a different name
- 12:54Speaker 1: on the credits. He was listed as Richard Keith, but
- 12:57Speaker 1: he played Little Ricky Ricardo. He's still alive, he said.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Lucille ball very very demanding. Yeah, I worked with her
- 13:05Speaker 1: once or twice, and I remember she would talk like this.
- 13:09Speaker 1: She had that kind of a voice in real life.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Very very demanding. But it was a Elvis show, so
- 13:15Speaker 1: one cast member left from the whole thing. Hey, this
- 13:18Speaker 1: has been the bonus segment of the podcast. Otherwise you
- 13:21Speaker 1: can listen live ten to noon every weekday. Have a
- 13:27Speaker 1: great weekend. So I'll talk to you Monday at ten
- 13:29Speaker 1: on seven ten wor Thanks for listening.
