- 0:04Speaker 2: You today, History's Screenwriting Expert panel of new voices in Hollywood.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Costumes are correct.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Buck Mary kil wide shot, two shot close up.
- 0:13Speaker 3: This artist on artists.
- 0:15Speaker 5: On artists on artists.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Do you know why they call it show business? I
- 0:19Speaker 1: always wondered that. Welcome back to artists on artists on
- 0:26Speaker 1: artists on artists. This week it's boy meets Girl, Boy
- 0:30Speaker 1: loses girl, boy gets back again to make a good movie.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's right, we're talking to rom calm creators.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Four current creators of romantic comedy films have come together
- 0:43Speaker 4: in the AOAOA Studio to discuss what it's like to
- 0:46Speaker 4: make a romantic comedy and the differences in their processes.
- 0:51Speaker 2: These artists have just recently released their movies and you
- 0:55Speaker 2: can go watch them anytime soon in theaters.
- 0:57Speaker 3: So let's listen in and turn our hearts off.
- 1:00Speaker 2: On Hey, what's up on Diego Blues? And I directed
- 1:08Speaker 2: and created the movie Failed to Remember.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Hi, my name is Wim Windigo. And I made the
- 1:15Speaker 4: romantic comedy Who Do I Love?
- 1:19Speaker 1: Hey?
- 1:19Speaker 3: I'm Nanny Austen. I'm so excited to be here and
- 1:24Speaker 3: talk about the movie Where's My Mind?
- 1:29Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Holly McPherson, and I made the movie in
- 1:35Speaker 1: the ashes we Forget. Wow. It is wonderful to have
- 1:40Speaker 1: us all in a room to talk about what we
- 1:44Speaker 1: love best about the movies, which is love. Movies about love.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It's honer to meet all of you.
- 1:50Speaker 4: It's really nice. It's you know, when you make movies,
- 1:53Speaker 4: it's almost like you're making a movie in the dark,
- 1:56Speaker 4: you know, and it's such a surprise when you come
- 1:59Speaker 4: out and you see the rest of the landscape. Yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 4: maybe we just go around and we talk about the
- 2:03Speaker 4: plots of her films and we maybe discuss you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Would love I would love that, I love that, I
- 2:09Speaker 1: would love that.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Yeah. So Who Do I Love? Is a romantic comedy
- 2:14Speaker 4: set in Seattle about a woman who gets knocked on
- 2:18Speaker 4: the head by a penny that somebody threw off the
- 2:20Speaker 4: space needle and forgets who she was in love with.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So it's a fun romp of her looking for clues
- 2:28Speaker 4: in her phone, looking for clues in her wallet and purse,
- 2:32Speaker 4: and with her friends to see who was it that
- 2:36Speaker 4: I loved? And of course finding the love of her life. Again,
- 2:40Speaker 4: showing the world that the love of her life is
- 2:43Speaker 4: the love of your life, even if you don't remember
- 2:45Speaker 4: your life.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Amazing. And when did your movie come out? Let's just
- 2:50Speaker 3: all sharrow release dates if you guys don't mind.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And I'll just say that my movie came
- 2:54Speaker 4: out March twenty twenty one, March fifteenth. I'm sorry, No problem.
- 3:02Speaker 2: No Problem Failed to Remember is kind of like this
- 3:04Speaker 2: fun romp rom com. You know, it's about this girl.
- 3:11Speaker 2: She's on this beer kind of like festival run, you know,
- 3:14Speaker 2: they do beer runs, and like we're going out, we're
- 3:16Speaker 2: seeing doing all the bars, and she meets this guy
- 3:20Speaker 2: and they instantly hit it off, and they spend the
- 3:22Speaker 2: next like couple of beat bars together, and then unfortunately,
- 3:28Speaker 2: at the last bar, she gets hit over the head
- 3:31Speaker 2: with a beer and it knocks her out cold.
- 3:34Speaker 5: So is somebody's throwing up beer at no.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Knocks her out cold. She wakes up kind of in
- 3:40Speaker 2: the next morning and she's like, who was that guy?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I don't remember even who I am, So she kind
- 3:45Speaker 2: of has to like retrace her steps of all the
- 3:48Speaker 2: bars to figure out who this guy was and who
- 3:52Speaker 2: she is. And it's set in Portland and my release
- 3:55Speaker 2: date is March sixteenth, twenty twenty one.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Interesting, right, well, of course I'm in The Ashes We
- 4:07Speaker 1: Forget is a hilarious and harrowing story of a firefighter
- 4:13Speaker 1: named Xander who is called into a burning, burning building
- 4:18Speaker 1: to save a young child, and he goes into the building.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Unfortunately he's hit on the head with a feasts of lumber.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He falls down, he gets into a coma. He doesn't remember.
- 4:31Speaker 1: All he knows is that he wakes up in the
- 4:33Speaker 1: morning with an engagement ring on his finger and he
- 4:36Speaker 1: can't remember who it was two and why. So it's
- 4:40Speaker 1: their journey of Xander and his engaged wife Caroline to
- 4:46Speaker 1: find each other and see if they can in the ashes,
- 4:49Speaker 1: Out of the Ashes Remember.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And You're released em.
- 4:56Speaker 1: March seventeenth, twoenty twenty one.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Okay, interestings, Okay, Well, my movie's a little different. Our
- 5:09Speaker 3: lead is a dyslexic girl and she's a nurse. She's
- 5:17Speaker 3: just trying to get by and she's engaged to a
- 5:21Speaker 3: man named Mind. She is trying to give one of
- 5:29Speaker 3: her patients a sedative accidentally gives it to herself because
- 5:36Speaker 3: she's quirky, dyslexic and messes things up sometimes gave herself
- 5:42Speaker 3: the sedative, wakes up from the sedative, and her husband
- 5:45Speaker 3: mind is gone, her fiance mind is gone, so she
- 5:52Speaker 3: learns to find him and find herself in the process
- 5:56Speaker 3: and find her mind. And my release date was let's see,
- 6:05Speaker 3: it was March nineteenth to on e twenty one.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Amazing, interesting one day gap between our movies. Fantastic great.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I find this so funny? Did they?
- 6:18Speaker 5: I feel like, yeah, can we just name the elephant
- 6:21Speaker 5: in the room.
- 6:21Speaker 2: This is all the same fucking movie, right, we're all
- 6:24Speaker 2: kind of writing a similar fucking movie here.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Well, I don't quite don't. I don't quite see what
- 6:29Speaker 4: you're saying. I see a lot of differences. You know,
- 6:31Speaker 4: mine was in Seattle, yours was in Portland. Where were
- 6:34Speaker 4: y'all's films?
- 6:36Speaker 5: Oh?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Mine was in Phoenix.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Oh and mine was in Austin, Texas.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Oh see, very different films.
- 6:46Speaker 3: And my lead is chryslexic, and none of your leads are.
- 6:50Speaker 4: My lead has dysgraphia, just just lexia for numbers.
- 6:56Speaker 1: My lead has synesthesia, meaning he can sort of hear
- 7:00Speaker 1: colors and sea sounds. It's not the same, it's quite different.
- 7:04Speaker 3: That's very different.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, my lead is an alcoholic, so it's kind of
- 7:09Speaker 2: you know, that's that is a little different, you know.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Very different. So I'm curious. I mean, I know there
- 7:15Speaker 1: are people saying, you know, oh, you all made sort
- 7:19Speaker 1: of the same movie. The papers like to say that,
- 7:22Speaker 1: when did you all start working on your movie?
- 7:26Speaker 5: Oh, this is a good question.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I've had this idea for a long time actually, because
- 7:30Speaker 2: you know, I would say about five years ago, kind
- 7:34Speaker 2: of to the day's October like twenty sixteen. I went
- 7:37Speaker 2: on this bar crawl and I watched this woman just
- 7:40Speaker 2: get hit in the back of the head with a
- 7:42Speaker 2: beer like a mug, a glass mug, and she fell
- 7:46Speaker 2: down out cold. The amblets came and the last thing
- 7:50Speaker 2: I remember her somebody asking me her was like, who's
- 7:52Speaker 2: the president? I know she couldn't remember, and I was like,
- 7:55Speaker 2: that girl is concussed. Oh my god, wait a second.
- 7:58Speaker 2: This is such a good movie. So that's kind of
- 8:00Speaker 2: where I started developing it. October about twenty sixteen, what
- 8:04Speaker 2: about you, guys.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I can't quite remember the year, but I remember it
- 8:07Speaker 4: was a month before the Hillary Clinton Donald Trump election.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Yeah that's October. That's twenty sixteen.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Interesting. I was campaigning for Hillary. I was traveling the
- 8:20Speaker 4: country and I stopped by Seattle with the space needle,
- 8:23Speaker 4: and I was up there and I said, I wonder
- 8:25Speaker 4: what would happen if I threw this penny off. I was,
- 8:27Speaker 4: I was going through kind of a destructive stage. And
- 8:30Speaker 4: I always say, you know, I tell all the young
- 8:34Speaker 4: screenwriters this, if you have a destructive thought, don't act
- 8:38Speaker 4: on it, write it. And so I of course went
- 8:41Speaker 4: home and I started working on the screenplay home to
- 8:45Speaker 4: my hotel because I was campaigning for Hillary. And so, yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 4: whenever that was with.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Your's a lot of campaigning for Hillary in Seattle.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yes, yes, look a lot of people said that it
- 8:57Speaker 4: was softball campaigning. Okay, but yes, I'm sorry. Yes, a
- 9:00Speaker 4: lot of people said that my specific trajectory is what
- 9:04Speaker 4: lost is the election. Yes, I'm sorry, Okay, Yes, I'm
- 9:07Speaker 4: a screenwriter, and yes I stuck to blue states. But
- 9:09Speaker 4: it was safe for me, and I've learned it's scary.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's scary to go to Michigan.
- 9:15Speaker 4: It's really scary there.
- 9:17Speaker 3: It is it is. I remember working on my script.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I don't remember when, but I do it was right
- 9:26Speaker 3: around the brexit. Yeah, that's just I was at a
- 9:32Speaker 3: Halloween party and I left because I had this idea.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And I had I love to leave parties when I
- 9:40Speaker 1: get an idea.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Yes, so many times.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I guess that makes it.
- 9:45Speaker 5: That's in October. Yeah, Halloween only ever in October.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I dressed like Monica Lewinsky.
- 9:52Speaker 5: That's crazy. That Halloween I also dressed is monicains act.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I mean, it's a common costume. It's a common one.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Pill it kills.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I must have started working much much earlier than you
- 10:05Speaker 1: guys did, because I remember so it was four years
- 10:09Speaker 1: after Obama was reelected.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, so because he was campaigning for the new president.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It would have been if a president as four year terms,
- 10:19Speaker 2: it's coming up.
- 10:20Speaker 5: It's October. It's October twenty six.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So so that doesn't sound right because it was around
- 10:25Speaker 1: the time that Starbucks was bringing back the pumpkin spiced Latte.
- 10:30Speaker 1: They do that every year, and so it must have
- 10:32Speaker 1: been a different time of year because it must have.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Been November, maybe September.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Just look at the release date usually is of when
- 10:39Speaker 2: this year the pumpkin sace comes out October third. So
- 10:43Speaker 2: I'm just guessing they keep that kind of traditional for
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh no, I do.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Actually kind of remember. I remember something from the night
- 10:51Speaker 1: that I came up with it, because I went home
- 10:55Speaker 1: to my calendar and I pulled it open and it
- 10:58Speaker 1: said October, and I thought that was so funny. I
- 11:02Speaker 1: thought that was that'll tell you incidence, that'll tell you.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I know, I I think that means it was October
- 11:08Speaker 2: twenty sixteen. Well, that's okay, I guess My question next
- 11:10Speaker 2: question is when did it go into production for you guys, Like,
- 11:13Speaker 2: I mean, how long did it take the writing process
- 11:15Speaker 2: for you guys, Because.
- 11:16Speaker 5: For me, you know, it was a little grueling.
- 11:18Speaker 2: It took me about a year, maybe a year and
- 11:21Speaker 2: a half of draft after draft after draft of just
- 11:23Speaker 2: really figuring out exactly how I wanted to tell this story.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You know, I probably had the first draft done in
- 11:28Speaker 2: the first three months, but then I got into I
- 11:31Speaker 2: got a lot of notes, and by I think a
- 11:34Speaker 2: year and a half later, like probably around January twenty
- 11:39Speaker 2: eighteen was when I was when I was finished with
- 11:42Speaker 2: that first solid draft I was sending out Interesday.
- 11:50Speaker 3: We should all keep journals. Us filmmakers, we don't remember things.
- 11:53Speaker 3: That's so funny, none of us. When we started projects.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And I know we're harping a lot on the timeline,
- 12:00Speaker 1: but I just find it very interesting. I love to
- 12:04Speaker 1: know how you all work, especially since it's you know,
- 12:07Speaker 1: it's such similar but very original different concepts, and I'm
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm just curious. You know, the data are quite interesting.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I know that it was two years after Trump was inaugurated.
- 12:21Speaker 1: That's when I started going into production. I ran into
- 12:24Speaker 1: some delays because I don't traditionally write on a keyboard.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I I sort of speak it out loud into voice
- 12:32Speaker 1: to text memos, and then I write it all down later,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and it takes forever because the memo, you know, they
- 12:38Speaker 1: disappear after two minutes.
- 12:39Speaker 5: M So it was, oh, it's not like a recording it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: No, it's not voice memoi.
- 12:45Speaker 5: XT message and the voice to.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Text myself and then if I don't press keep fast enough,
- 12:52Speaker 1: it's just gone into the ether.
- 12:53Speaker 4: And that's a really kind of a newer technology that
- 12:56Speaker 4: Apple's released on the text messages. So it's pretty amazing
- 12:59Speaker 4: you kind of opted that so far.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I had the beta version. I have some friends in
- 13:04Speaker 1: high places.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I remember having my final draft finished. I finished it
- 13:11Speaker 4: and I went and saw Black Panther in theaters. The
- 13:15Speaker 4: first week. Whenever that was that?
- 13:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I think whenever that was?
- 13:21Speaker 3: Whenever, whenever that was?
- 13:24Speaker 4: And then I saw Tully the film Tully did you
- 13:26Speaker 4: have low Cody movie?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Whenever that was?
- 13:31Speaker 4: Whenever that was?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Remember, I cannot remember when we started production, but I
- 13:36Speaker 3: do remember things were tense. I think it was right
- 13:38Speaker 3: when Harvey Weinstein was fired.
- 13:43Speaker 5: He was he part of the movie. Was he part
- 13:46Speaker 5: of a tough period?
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yes? No, he was involved. We were getting one third
- 13:54Speaker 3: of the funding from the Weinsteins, and I remember all
- 13:57Speaker 3: of a sudden they weren't returning their calls and the
- 14:00Speaker 3: secretary would pick up and say run. And that was
- 14:02Speaker 3: right when we started production.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Excuse me.
- 14:06Speaker 4: The secretary would pick up and say run.
- 14:10Speaker 3: She'd pick up the phone and we'd say, where's our money.
- 14:12Speaker 3: We're going into production, we need to pay the team
- 14:14Speaker 3: stirs and she'd go run. So at some point we
- 14:20Speaker 3: finally put it together.
- 14:23Speaker 5: How long did it take you to put it together
- 14:24Speaker 5: after him being fired?
- 14:27Speaker 3: When was this? Do you guys remember when this was?
- 14:30Speaker 5: This was January twenty eighteen, exactly January two.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Got it. I'll say that when that happened, nobody knew
- 14:39Speaker 3: what to do. I mean, Weinstein had so many movies
- 14:41Speaker 3: in production. A lot of us, a lot of us
- 14:44Speaker 3: were in the same spot where we were, like, what
- 14:46Speaker 3: do we do before? If you had Weinstein signed on
- 14:49Speaker 3: in any capacity, your movie goes straight to distribution, You
- 14:52Speaker 3: get straight deals. But when we when he got accused
- 14:57Speaker 3: around late twenty seventeen, early twenty eighteen or late twenty eighteen, anyway,
- 15:03Speaker 3: it was we didn't know what to do with our movie,
- 15:06Speaker 3: but we figured it out.
- 15:08Speaker 1: How did you, if you don't mind me asking, secure
- 15:11Speaker 1: the rest of the funding?
- 15:13Speaker 3: Yes, we did. We threw up an indie Go go
- 15:15Speaker 3: for the last twenty grand.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Oh he was only supplying twenty thousand dollars.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And you said, you said one third, so your budget
- 15:25Speaker 4: was sixty thousand.
- 15:26Speaker 3: No.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I really do feel like next time you should negotiate
- 15:30Speaker 2: for a higher budget.
- 15:32Speaker 5: This is a major motion picture. You probably aren't paying
- 15:35Speaker 5: most of your I'll.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Tell you this. When I saw our budget and I
- 15:37Speaker 3: saw how small it was, I said, you know what's
- 15:39Speaker 3: amazing about this? No movie gets made for this budget,
- 15:43Speaker 3: And I said, no movie will be like ours.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Well, student films and souch often do.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I know, But I said that when our movie comes
- 15:50Speaker 3: out it will it will stand out well.
- 15:52Speaker 4: And I want to talk about that because I have
- 15:55Speaker 4: seen express screenings of all of your movies. I've watched
- 15:59Speaker 4: them all I got, I got DVD's, and there are
- 16:01Speaker 4: a lot of interesting differences, you know, one uh.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Talk about the differences I would like.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I think I would love to focus on the difference
- 16:10Speaker 1: between our movies.
- 16:11Speaker 4: So, my favorite character that I got to put in
- 16:14Speaker 4: my film is the you know, my best The main character,
- 16:19Speaker 4: her name is Sandra, and her best friend Rudy with
- 16:23Speaker 4: an eye, is just so funny because she's so disgusting
- 16:28Speaker 4: and it's really funny. She's just this kind of like hapless.
- 16:31Speaker 4: You know, you you don't even remember who you're in
- 16:34Speaker 4: love with, but you deserve a love. You know, I'm disgusting.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I'll never be able to find love and she doesn't.
- 16:40Speaker 4: And I think that's what makes my movie stand out,
- 16:42Speaker 4: is that there's, you know, a really interesting, wacky, crazy,
- 16:49Speaker 4: disgusting woman that's the best friend. And I think that's
- 16:54Speaker 4: I think that's different.
- 16:55Speaker 3: You don't see that a lot.
- 16:56Speaker 4: No, you don't see a disgusting friend in any movies.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say one of my favorite characters that
- 17:03Speaker 2: I got to write in Failed to Remember is my
- 17:08Speaker 2: main character, Jessica's best friend.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Who's kind of this woman who hasn't.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Bathed in weeks. She's apps, she's smelly, she's smelly. She's
- 17:20Speaker 2: very smelly. And it's kind of like a crux of
- 17:22Speaker 2: the movie of like she's always kind of talking about
- 17:25Speaker 2: like she's to the friend her name is Rugie and
- 17:29Speaker 2: she's like, you got to go take a shower, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: she's like, no, thank you.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I think I'm going to keep on because disgusting people
- 17:37Speaker 3: don't choose to be it, and it sounds like your
- 17:39Speaker 3: character is choosing.
- 17:40Speaker 2: No, she's and I don't think she's disgusted. I think
- 17:44Speaker 2: she's extremely extremely smelly.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Because I think mine is disgusting.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Well, I know, I will say whim. I mean, my
- 17:55Speaker 1: favorite favorite catchphrase in that movie is from your character
- 18:00Speaker 1: her and she says, oh, this cheetos in my freaking
- 18:02Speaker 1: butt crack.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Exactly, she didn't choose for so hard. She didn't choose
- 18:08Speaker 4: for the cheeto to be in her butt crack. Unlike
- 18:12Speaker 4: excuse me, unlike Holly, Holly, you you you have a
- 18:17Speaker 4: character that chooses to put a cheeto in the butt crack,
- 18:20Speaker 4: which I yes.
- 18:21Speaker 1: She does because my my character, her name is Reese.
- 18:25Speaker 1: She's the best friend of Xander, and she's disgusting in
- 18:29Speaker 1: a different way. She's disgusting because she's horny, you know
- 18:33Speaker 1: what I mean. She's ugly girl, a horny, ugly girl
- 18:39Speaker 1: who's there to serve the best friend.
- 18:41Speaker 4: And aren't those funny? I think they are.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I think they're very funny because you know, you don't
- 18:46Speaker 1: assume that someone would like like that would have any
- 18:50Speaker 1: sexual drive, but of course they do.
- 18:53Speaker 3: They absolutely.
- 18:54Speaker 5: It was such a strong choice.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I'll say that because unexpected, completely unexpected that somebody like
- 18:58Speaker 2: that would have any sort of wanting for sex.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Oh true, I mean that is Oh, that's so funny.
- 19:06Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 19:06Speaker 3: My main character doesn't have a best friend. That's so funny.
- 19:10Speaker 3: She has an insane neighbor she catches up with every day.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Oh.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Kristin Wigg, Yes, yes.
- 19:17Speaker 3: And what was so funny about Kristin Wig was she
- 19:19Speaker 3: had just wrapped well, it was almost like we negotiated
- 19:23Speaker 3: her contract to to overlap the two movies she was
- 19:28Speaker 3: working on, and she was working on that famous movie
- 19:32Speaker 3: Dirty Girl. Yes, right as we picked up production.
- 19:37Speaker 2: She was so good and Dirty Girl, the movie about
- 19:39Speaker 2: the woman who runs the tough Mutter.
- 19:41Speaker 5: I love she would come.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Straight from set and come on as our neighbor.
- 19:48Speaker 5: She's still covered in mud.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I mean, we you can't tell Kristin what to do.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I mean we're paying her, yeah, especially grand so, so
- 19:57Speaker 3: she came on and we just let her come straight
- 19:59Speaker 3: on and she did her scene. She did her scene,
- 20:03Speaker 3: and then and then it was so funny watching the dailies.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I was like, oh, my gosh, our character is a
- 20:09Speaker 3: little a little garbage.
- 20:14Speaker 5: You said that you thought that, Yeah, and.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I loved it. I mean it worked well, that's great.
- 20:19Speaker 5: I feel like, yeah, we did find a little bit
- 20:21Speaker 5: of difference. That's great.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Let's keep digging because I think this is only going
- 20:24Speaker 2: to help our movies stand independently from each other.
- 20:27Speaker 4: It's interesting they put us in this panel together.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I won't say it's yeah. I don't know if they're
- 20:32Speaker 3: going to use this whole thing. But did you guys
- 20:35Speaker 3: know that they would do this?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Noah, No, I knew that I was going to be
- 20:48Speaker 1: in an industry panel with my peers who also loved
- 20:52Speaker 1: to make romantic comedies. I did not know that I'd
- 20:56Speaker 1: be paired up with all of the creators who I
- 20:58Speaker 1: allegedly stole from and in turn you from me. So
- 21:03Speaker 1: it has been a surprise.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of what I learned too. And that's
- 21:09Speaker 2: something really interesting you just brought up. It's like, at
- 21:13Speaker 2: this point, are we stealing from each other? Did you
- 21:15Speaker 2: guys steal from me or did I steal from you?
- 21:18Speaker 4: What should we discuss that? Should we have that conversation.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I do want to say they definitely won't use this
- 21:24Speaker 3: because this is now we're getting into some deep stuff
- 21:27Speaker 3: because the word steal has been thrown out there and
- 21:30Speaker 3: I can't ignore that word.
- 21:33Speaker 4: So let's let's talk about it. I think a lot
- 21:38Speaker 4: of people are saying stealing, especially because the posters are
- 21:41Speaker 4: so similar. Right, it's, uh, you know all of our
- 21:46Speaker 4: main characters. I mean, I'll speak for my poster. You know,
- 21:49Speaker 4: the poster for Who Do I Love is my main actress,
- 21:54Speaker 4: Kristen Bell looking confused as a man falls from the sky.
- 22:01Speaker 2: M So mine's just a little bit different. It's my
- 22:07Speaker 2: main character Jessica Chastain kind of looking like with her
- 22:12Speaker 2: hands up in the air of like I don't remember,
- 22:15Speaker 2: and then in the background there's a big glass mug
- 22:18Speaker 2: heading for her head with a guy in the background.
- 22:22Speaker 2: We got the kid from the Good Place. So yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 2: we got Manny Jacinto to be the lead interest.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So so he is in the background going like this,
- 22:34Speaker 2: like this girl, it's pretty good, it's pretty good.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Different, I mean, these are different. This is why I
- 22:41Speaker 3: don't know about if the if the word steel works,
- 22:44Speaker 3: because I mean, whim did you say that? Uh?
- 22:48Speaker 4: Yes, I did say all of our posters looked very similar.
- 22:50Speaker 4: If I just want to say it up front, there's
- 22:52Speaker 4: a woman in the foreground and they look confused and
- 22:54Speaker 4: something's falling onto them. Let's just say it. Let's just
- 22:57Speaker 4: say it.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, that's just the description of my poster, almost exactly.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but I have a purple. I have a purple,
- 23:04Speaker 3: and mine's green. Mine's green, and.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Mine is green, so it's different and mine is purple.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Well, you different, But yours is different from from from theirs.
- 23:16Speaker 4: But it's not different from mine, Holly.
- 23:19Speaker 1: The point is not all four of us have the
- 23:21Speaker 1: exact same details at once.
- 23:23Speaker 3: So that's what it is. Not all four of the
- 23:26Speaker 3: four of us.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's not all four of us.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Sometimes two of a share thing or three of a
- 23:29Speaker 2: share thing, but not all of us.
- 23:31Speaker 5: And let's just say share different things.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Let's just say it. Holly. You use Kristen Bell in
- 23:36Speaker 4: your movie too.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I used her in the in the movie as well.
- 23:40Speaker 1: She played the dead version of the girl who he's
- 23:44Speaker 1: trying to remember. He plays the you know, the fake
- 23:47Speaker 1: version of Caroline that he's imagining in his mind when
- 23:51Speaker 1: he's trying to figure out who he is remembering that.
- 23:55Speaker 4: You can't understand. You can understand how I thought that
- 23:58Speaker 4: was a personal dick, right, because your movie came out
- 24:00Speaker 4: after mine, and you're implying that my character is dead,
- 24:04Speaker 4: my characters, but you're dead.
- 24:06Speaker 1: But you did These are just you think that I do.
- 24:11Speaker 4: And I'm wondering if you did also think that.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Well, that's kind of interesting because I didn't really see
- 24:19Speaker 1: it as stealing. I thought that, you know, everything has
- 24:23Speaker 1: already been done before, because if you go back, all
- 24:26Speaker 1: of these love stare we're all borrowing from Shakespeare, right.
- 24:31Speaker 3: And we're ultimately stealing from love And.
- 24:33Speaker 1: We are ultimately all stealing from the twenty twelve movie
- 24:37Speaker 1: The Vow with Rachel mccadams.
- 24:39Speaker 4: We are.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I literally stole so much from that movie. I'll be honest, Yeah, what.
- 24:46Speaker 4: I think in terms of stealing as well. I do
- 24:49Speaker 4: remember Kristen posting a photo of being on set with
- 24:53Speaker 4: me on the Epic Space needle set that we built,
- 24:58Speaker 4: and I remember standing next to her and seeing a
- 25:01Speaker 4: d M from Holly Macpherson pop up.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Well, I will say, whim, you don't. You don't know
- 25:08Speaker 1: how close we are. For all you know, we could
- 25:11Speaker 1: spend Thanksgiving together and do you no?
- 25:18Speaker 4: Okay, but we could. Sure I.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Could have saved her life. No, I could have come
- 25:29Speaker 1: to her in a in a low low point when
- 25:31Speaker 1: she's overdosing on the street and there's no one there
- 25:36Speaker 1: for her. No. But the point is you can't cast
- 25:41Speaker 1: us solutions.
- 25:42Speaker 4: But I could have, sure, And that's slow and I
- 25:44Speaker 4: shouldn't be creeping on anyone else's phones, especially not celebrities.
- 25:47Speaker 4: But I just did see that, and I just wanted
- 25:50Speaker 4: to bring that up, and because I was mad, honestly
- 25:52Speaker 4: that she was on her phone on set. I'm gonna
- 25:54Speaker 4: be honest, I was mad about that we were shooting.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Well, you have a right to be mad about that.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Specifically, I just want to say mine is really different too,
- 26:03Speaker 2: because ultimately mine is about alcoholism. Not about any of
- 26:07Speaker 2: the hum drum mom drum.
- 26:09Speaker 4: So so yeah, A lot of people are saying that
- 26:12Speaker 4: You're a movie is a love letter to alcoholism.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a big I'm a big fan of it.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I think people should continue doing it. It's definitely, definitely
- 26:21Speaker 2: kind of this taboo thing people don't want to talk
- 26:24Speaker 2: about that alcoholism isn't it's kind of fun.
- 26:28Speaker 3: And you know what, America needs love letters to alcoholisms.
- 26:31Speaker 4: I thought about Hollywood reporter or headline Diego blues thinks
- 26:34Speaker 4: everyone should keep doing alcoholism.
- 26:37Speaker 5: M m, well they misquoted me, well Diego quoted.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But I will I say, I will say, in the
- 26:43Speaker 3: spirit of all honesty here I do want to say,
- 26:46Speaker 3: you used t pains by by me a drink in
- 26:51Speaker 3: yours and I had that in.
- 26:55Speaker 2: There, Yeah, which I will say. My costas two hundred
- 27:00Speaker 2: thousand dollars to get that song in our film. How
- 27:03Speaker 2: on earth did you get the rights to that?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Well ours? We're using it on a radio.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Oh it's the karaoke version.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Well no, not even the karaoke. An extra is driving
- 27:17Speaker 3: by in her car and she has that song just
- 27:21Speaker 3: incidental audio.
- 27:24Speaker 2: So you can see how that's not necessarily stealing, because
- 27:27Speaker 2: yours is just a ma and then she's gone because
- 27:31Speaker 2: she's just driving by.
- 27:32Speaker 4: You're the one who noticed the diego. You're the one
- 27:34Speaker 4: who knows.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I did notice it, and I thought it was a
- 27:35Speaker 2: great song. It kind of flashed me back, like this
- 27:38Speaker 2: is a great song and it'd be perfect for my
- 27:40Speaker 2: movie that I'm working on.
- 27:42Speaker 3: So yeah, and that's where we get into its straight
- 27:44Speaker 3: on stealing. And I'll call a spade a spade. And
- 27:48Speaker 3: I do a lot of flash cuts.
- 27:51Speaker 5: I love flash cuts. I think you'd use them really well.
- 27:54Speaker 2: The way that the screen goes fully white and then
- 27:57Speaker 2: comes back is it's almost to cut. You're just in
- 28:01Speaker 2: a scene flashing white and then a flashing back.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I mean, if you're making an amnesia movie, you've got
- 28:07Speaker 1: to have flash cut.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Well, I don't think we all need all had them.
- 28:12Speaker 4: We all had show.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry, there's a lot of things flying around right now,
- 28:21Speaker 1: but if you want to accurately portray amnesia, you need
- 28:24Speaker 1: that flashed white. You cannot flashed to white. If you
- 28:29Speaker 1: dipped black, they're dead. If you win flashed white, everybody's
- 28:32Speaker 1: still alive.
- 28:35Speaker 4: A wipe is memory, A black as death We've all
- 28:38Speaker 4: discussed this. We all have blood on our hands. We
- 28:40Speaker 4: know what we're talking about. Mine were not flash cuts.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Mine we're swipes, which was crazy because some of the
- 28:49Speaker 2: actors would go and move their hand across the scene to.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Pipes, sweep at it, if you will.
- 28:58Speaker 4: And that was something different than you guys didn't have
- 29:01Speaker 4: the actors in.
- 29:03Speaker 2: But I will say, I will say I did feel
- 29:05Speaker 2: like I've stolen because there is that bar she goes
- 29:08Speaker 2: back to and they're and they're watching an improv scene
- 29:11Speaker 2: and the three people clearly do sweep edits there, and
- 29:15Speaker 2: I just felt like you were borrowing that, you.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Know, and the improv scene of the fantasy sequence in
- 29:20Speaker 1: my movie.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Yes, yes, listen, let's let's that's kind of discuss this
- 29:27Speaker 4: here now. Did I take the scene from your movie
- 29:32Speaker 4: that somebody sent me the dailies? Because I know the
- 29:34Speaker 4: executive at Sony and she owes me some things for
- 29:38Speaker 4: things I've done for her? Did she potentially send dailies
- 29:41Speaker 4: to me? And as a dig at you, Holly, I
- 29:45Speaker 4: cast the worst improvisers I've ever seen in my life
- 29:49Speaker 4: and made them say your dialogue like they were doing
- 29:54Speaker 4: bad improv. And then I had Kristen's character say, man,
- 29:58Speaker 4: I wish I could forget this. I did, I did
- 30:01Speaker 4: have that.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Waim I wish I waim. I know I should be
- 30:06Speaker 1: mad at you, but I just think this reflects poorly
- 30:09Speaker 1: on you, more poor on you than it does on me.
- 30:12Speaker 1: So I can sleep peacefully at night. I don't know
- 30:16Speaker 1: about you. I don't know what I can sleep, but
- 30:20Speaker 1: I sleep peacefully.
- 30:22Speaker 4: I don't sleep in a bed for my back. I
- 30:24Speaker 4: sleep on the floor, and I take ambient for the record.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And by the way, I didn't have Tea Pains buy
- 30:30Speaker 4: you a drink in mine. I had Bartender and Tea
- 30:33Speaker 4: Paints sang it live at the end of the big concert.
- 30:37Speaker 3: But I will say it's very weird that these Tea
- 30:39Speaker 3: Paint songs, we all came out at the same time
- 30:42Speaker 3: and in production the same year, and these Tea Paint
- 30:44Speaker 3: songs came out seven years prior. And all of our
- 30:48Speaker 3: movies are set in the press.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You know, when you hear a song you like, you
- 30:52Speaker 1: should keep it well.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Can we talk about this? We were all at the
- 30:56Speaker 4: Tea Pain concert. Let's talk about it. A Spade No
- 31:02Speaker 4: Kia Live twenty seventeen. We were all there.
- 31:05Speaker 2: We had all gotten that industry suite. We're all invited
- 31:10Speaker 2: to that industry suite to watch Teepain. So maybe geniuses
- 31:14Speaker 2: are great minds think alike. Great minds think alike. We
- 31:17Speaker 2: were all kind of generally talking like we didn't meet.
- 31:20Speaker 2: But it was all kind of the thing of you
- 31:22Speaker 2: hear a conversation happening far away, and you start using
- 31:25Speaker 2: that as your own conversation.
- 31:27Speaker 1: You know, yes, And you know, I want to thank
- 31:29Speaker 1: you for bringing that up, because I will say, great
- 31:32Speaker 1: minds think alike. Yes, great minds think in the way
- 31:36Speaker 1: that we like to talk about the bow at a
- 31:39Speaker 1: Tea pain concert. We were all great minds and we
- 31:41Speaker 1: just simply did that. And I don't think that's any
- 31:44Speaker 1: of our fault.
- 31:44Speaker 4: M hm. And I'm wondering, I'm remembering something very vivid
- 31:48Speaker 4: that happened. I thought teapin concert, and correct me if
- 31:52Speaker 4: I'm making this up. But did Teepin get hit by
- 31:56Speaker 4: a light over the head? And he woke up and
- 31:59Speaker 4: he was still and so he said, I don't know
- 32:01Speaker 4: who I am? Who am I? Who am I? That's
- 32:03Speaker 4: the concert?
- 32:05Speaker 1: Who's my wife?
- 32:07Speaker 4: Who's my wife? Over and over?
- 32:08Speaker 3: And then that was weird because then they played Natalie
- 32:13Speaker 3: Coles this Will be an Everlasting Love, which felt weird.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I think they were just trying to cover with the
- 32:19Speaker 2: fact that teeth Painting was out cold at that point
- 32:22Speaker 2: they had.
- 32:23Speaker 3: I remember that song came on and I was like,
- 32:25Speaker 3: I'm in a rom com. Oh, I'm going to write
- 32:27Speaker 3: a rom.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's actually. That was the night I knew I
- 32:30Speaker 2: was going to write a round com. Not what it
- 32:31Speaker 2: was about, but I knew what I was going to
- 32:33Speaker 2: do in my life. I really wanted to write around.
- 32:36Speaker 4: So I remember saying I have to go home now.
- 32:39Speaker 5: I also said I have to go home now.
- 32:41Speaker 1: We all left it the same time. We departed. I
- 32:45Speaker 1: went to the north. You all went to.
- 32:47Speaker 5: Do I went east, See I went north. I went north,
- 32:50Speaker 5: but I went north, I went south.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I went so we all got in those accidents too.
- 33:02Speaker 1: We went too fast to the same direction.
- 33:05Speaker 4: And I got in an accident on Seattle Street.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I was on Portland Boulevard.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I was on Phoenix Drive.
- 33:15Speaker 3: That's weird because I took a U turn and in
- 33:19Speaker 3: a in a cul de sac that the kids in
- 33:22Speaker 3: the cul de sac named Austin.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Did they tell you that after they rolled out the window.
- 33:28Speaker 5: They told you that do they say welcome to Austin.
- 33:32Speaker 5: It's a cul de sac, but we call it Austin.
- 33:35Speaker 3: The kids had chalk and they drew on the ground.
- 33:39Speaker 3: This is our cul de sac, This is Austin. I
- 33:41Speaker 3: did a turn, a U turn. I looked down. I
- 33:44Speaker 3: saw that at all.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You know, I had a cul de sac kid too.
- 33:47Speaker 1: You know, the dominant boy in the neighborhood gets to
- 33:50Speaker 1: name the cul de sac. Ours was named Eric.
- 33:54Speaker 4: I was the dominant kid in our neighborhood. I named
- 33:56Speaker 4: the cul de sac Nora Ephron.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Nora Ephron.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Mm hmmm. I loved rom coms since I was a bab.
- 34:04Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I feel like, I mean, we all have to pay
- 34:06Speaker 1: tribute to Nora E Frond. She is why we're all here,
- 34:10Speaker 1: and we should remember that we have more in common
- 34:14Speaker 1: than we do differences actually.
- 34:16Speaker 3: And maybe maybe that makes Here's the thing, no, I
- 34:21Speaker 3: think this. I think we should go around. These are
- 34:23Speaker 3: amazing movies that all came out and all are coming.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It's incredible, and I want to talk about what's next
- 34:28Speaker 3: for all us because I think that'll steer the conversation.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, away, I'm so excited to discuss this, and I
- 34:35Speaker 4: want to thank you for bringing this up, because I,
- 34:39Speaker 4: to be honest, after this whole situation decided, I want
- 34:42Speaker 4: to just write something nobody else can even think of, right,
- 34:47Speaker 4: I want to go as far as they possibly can
- 34:50Speaker 4: away from the main mainstream schlock. No disrespect, because I'm
- 34:57Speaker 4: part of it. You know, we all have but on
- 34:59Speaker 4: our hands. So mine is a dystopian romance. It's set
- 35:04Speaker 4: in the future. It's called shadow World, and it is
- 35:09Speaker 4: about a rogue named X falling in love with a
- 35:16Speaker 4: garbage princess named Princess flower Head. And they fall in
- 35:22Speaker 4: love in the desert. And it is gritty, it is fierce.
- 35:30Speaker 4: There is all sorts of action and fire and commentary
- 35:35Speaker 4: about where our world is going some shadow lands. It's
- 35:40Speaker 4: called shadow Lands.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Excited shows, really, I guess I'll go next.
- 35:47Speaker 2: You know, I just I've been working on this thing.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I had the exact same thought of getting away from
- 35:51Speaker 2: it all, you know, And so I started thinking, you know,
- 35:54Speaker 2: you're just getting a lot of backlash for my push
- 35:56Speaker 2: of pro alcoholism or like what I like to call PROCHOI.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Because you choose, you get to choose to have an abortion.
- 36:04Speaker 2: But you also should be able to choose if you
- 36:06Speaker 2: want to drink alcohol and not be pressured too.
- 36:09Speaker 5: So I thought, what is the world going to be like?
- 36:11Speaker 2: If there's no more alcoholics. It's gonna be dry, it's
- 36:14Speaker 2: gonna be barren. Probably the world is gonna lapse. So
- 36:17Speaker 2: mine takes place in kind of the not too distant
- 36:22Speaker 2: future after everything's kind of crumbled because there's no alcoholics,
- 36:26Speaker 2: and it's about this man trying.
- 36:32Speaker 4: So society is being held up by alcoholics, or society.
- 36:35Speaker 5: There's no more alcoholics. These are non alcoholics, but the
- 36:39Speaker 5: world because there aren't an.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Exactly okay, so amazing because because it becomes so puritanical
- 36:46Speaker 2: and so held down and nobody's having any fun. Nobody's
- 36:50Speaker 2: out there actually having fun anymore. The world just grumbles, falls.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Apart immediately, and you know, all the world leaders, nobody's
- 37:01Speaker 5: allowed to drink anymore. It just crumbles.
- 37:02Speaker 2: So that we meet our main character and he's just
- 37:05Speaker 2: looking for a drink. He's just out there looking for
- 37:08Speaker 2: a drink, and he meets this woman covered in horseshit
- 37:12Speaker 2: and she says, I know a guy, so yeah, So
- 37:16Speaker 2: it kind of takes place in their kind.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Of adventures through that land?
- 37:20Speaker 4: What's it called?
- 37:22Speaker 5: This one?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Is?
- 37:23Speaker 5: This one I'm working on is called the dry Lands?
- 37:29Speaker 4: Interesting?
- 37:30Speaker 5: So interesting, It's like a really unique idea.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 37:36Speaker 1: So I, you know, all these ugly allegations and by allocations,
- 37:42Speaker 1: I'm referring to the s word that I won't use anymore, stealing.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I decided to go on a retreat in a place
- 37:51Speaker 1: where I couldn't be you know, not that I stole,
- 37:56Speaker 1: but infected with other people's ideas, you know, the ideas
- 38:00Speaker 1: that you internalize and you think of your own and
- 38:02Speaker 1: then you think of them later, et cetera, et cetera.
- 38:05Speaker 1: So I went as far out from society as I could.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I went to a te Pain concert and I sat there,
- 38:14Speaker 1: and I I went to the one at the Hollywood
- 38:19Speaker 1: Bowl in really yes, yes yes. And so I sat
- 38:32Speaker 1: at the Tea Pain concert with my phone and I
- 38:36Speaker 1: was voice memoing new movie ideas.
- 38:39Speaker 2: And for what I could really quick question, was the
- 38:42Speaker 2: audio from the tee Pain concert affecting your voice memo?
- 38:45Speaker 4: Where it was?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Absolutely? It took a very long time. I had to
- 38:50Speaker 1: wait until he would riff in between the songs and go,
- 38:53Speaker 1: how's everybody doing tonight? That's when I could get some
- 38:57Speaker 1: of my ideas out there.
- 39:00Speaker 3: And so, oh it's fast, you're not thinking, you're not
- 39:02Speaker 3: over there?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yes, exactly exactly. First draft is the best draft, That's
- 39:06Speaker 1: what I always say. And so my film inspired by
- 39:11Speaker 1: sort of the Ashes and the Destruction of Fire, touched
- 39:14Speaker 1: on by my last film. It's sort of a scorched
- 39:18Speaker 1: Earth dystopia where everything is crumbling, but two people who
- 39:24Speaker 1: suddenly remember each other get to have no strings attached
- 39:29Speaker 1: sex with each other, and they have to try not
- 39:33Speaker 1: to fall in love.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Is it no spoil it?
- 39:36Speaker 2: Is it no strings because there's nobody else around? Or
- 39:39Speaker 2: is it no strings because the idea of marriage has
- 39:41Speaker 2: completely broken apart in this new world?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yes, so the idea of casual sex has completely fallen
- 39:49Speaker 1: off the market because now in this world sex is
- 39:52Speaker 1: only meant for procreation, to prolong the species, and so
- 39:56Speaker 1: it's sort of a forbidden thing that they're doing. They
- 39:58Speaker 1: shouldn't be having no strings attached sex, and so it's
- 40:04Speaker 1: a bit of a rebellion, I would say.
- 40:06Speaker 4: But yes, what's it called.
- 40:07Speaker 1: So it's called scorched Land?
- 40:11Speaker 3: Okay, oh wow, I mean to be honest, I'm I'm
- 40:15Speaker 3: relieved because I'm making a movie about a rat who
- 40:19Speaker 3: learns how to cook. Some movies, so thank god.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I hate Well, that sounds like fine, it sounds so great.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I will say, have you seen Ratitully? Have you seen Rataitully?
- 40:29Speaker 4: No?
- 40:30Speaker 5: Well, don't watch it.
- 40:31Speaker 4: What's this movie called the rat movie that you're.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Making, Mattaituy.
