- 0:08Speaker 1: Terrible advice. Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter. It is Friday. A friend,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Corey Andrew is traveling today, so it's just us Naughty
- 0:23Speaker 1: is altogether. We've got a great show, though. Don't worry.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Goodness knows I can talk to for twenty minutes or
- 0:29Speaker 1: so about celebrity gossip. Hey, my friends, what time is it?
- 0:35Speaker 1: It is tea time. You sound delicious, big exclusive at
- 0:41Speaker 1: the top of the show. So the view is pivoting
- 0:45Speaker 1: away from politics. Get ready to see less explosive fights
- 0:50Speaker 1: on the show now that Megan McCain is leaving, as
- 0:54Speaker 1: the show pivots away from political topics as the audience
- 0:59Speaker 1: is tuning out. Sources tell me exclusively, quote, everyone is
- 1:04Speaker 1: sick of talking and fighting about politics. I think that's true.
- 1:10Speaker 1: People want to escape with gossip and what's going on
- 1:14Speaker 1: with Jen and Ben. They've moved away from the political
- 1:18Speaker 1: environment where we're all screaming and shouting and towards the
- 1:22Speaker 1: entertainment and celebrity gossip world. That's good news for me,
- 1:26Speaker 1: isn't it. So people are just sick of politics. I
- 1:30Speaker 1: think this is absolutely true, certainly with my friends but
- 1:33Speaker 1: it's bigger than that. So the ratings have fell Apart
- 1:37Speaker 1: for CNN, Fox News and ms NBC, the numbers are
- 1:41Speaker 1: danced significantly all those cable shows. People are tuning out
- 1:47Speaker 1: inside us add quotes, the culture on the show at
- 1:51Speaker 1: the viewer has made it very, very difficult for them
- 1:54Speaker 1: to continue in this way, particularly when they all come
- 1:59Speaker 1: back to filming in the studio, so at the moment,
- 2:01Speaker 1: they're all filming from home studios close to their homes.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I think Megan's down in DC. She's been doing the
- 2:08Speaker 1: show down in d C where she lives now for
- 2:11Speaker 1: over a year. Every single topic on the show is
- 2:14Speaker 1: pre approved, and now they're going to pick topics that
- 2:17Speaker 1: are less political, which probably explains why Megan's leaving. So
- 2:22Speaker 1: joy behar we know her as a liberal, absolutely yes,
- 2:26Speaker 1: But Joyce started on that show as a comedian. She
- 2:30Speaker 1: can pivot back to doing comedy, would be Goldberg can
- 2:34Speaker 1: do anything. She's an Oscar Award winning actress, also a
- 2:38Speaker 1: very successful comedian in her own right. She can go
- 2:41Speaker 1: back to doing this too. Insiders tell me Megan as
- 2:45Speaker 1: politics in her d n A the past four years
- 2:48Speaker 1: she's been on the show is actually the four years,
- 2:51Speaker 1: they've spoken most about politics, so it's been a really
- 2:55Speaker 1: good fit for four years. But they changed the show
- 2:58Speaker 1: and get less political. Mega is not exactly the right
- 3:01Speaker 1: person for that. As a friend of Megan's tells me quote,
- 3:05Speaker 1: she can make benefit political. There is nothing you can
- 3:10Speaker 1: talk about with Megan McCain that doesn't turn into a
- 3:14Speaker 1: political discussion. Do you have friends like that, Ah, I
- 3:17Speaker 1: have some friends. Everything is political. Where we go for
- 3:20Speaker 1: drinks is political, who we watch on TV is political.
- 3:24Speaker 1: They can make Dancing with the Stars political. We should
- 3:27Speaker 1: point out to that the view is down about five
- 3:30Speaker 1: hundred thousand in total viewers from last year. A spokesperson
- 3:35Speaker 1: said this is not true. As always, the view will
- 3:38Speaker 1: focus on the topics of the day. Nothing has changed. Well,
- 3:41Speaker 1: clearly something has changed because Megan is leaving the show.
- 3:44Speaker 1: She said it's the right decision for her and her family.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Although I did a little bit of digging, you know
- 3:49Speaker 1: what I'm like, and I found out that her contract
- 3:52Speaker 1: is not up yet, so for her to leave when
- 3:55Speaker 1: she still has a contract, the network has to agree
- 3:59Speaker 1: to this. I'm told. There's not a on a fighting
- 4:02Speaker 1: They're happy to see Megan go because the show is
- 4:06Speaker 1: going to change. Also, let's remember in twenty Megan and
- 4:11Speaker 1: her co hosts they won the Emmy Award for the
- 4:15Speaker 1: Best Outstanding Talk Show vis Show. They were snubbed zero nominations.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So what changed The show didn't change. What changed was
- 4:27Speaker 1: the environment in which we live. I think we've all
- 4:29Speaker 1: gone through four years of really intense politics, love or hated.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It's certainly been difficult to turn away from it. Now
- 4:36Speaker 1: we have moved on, I know I have. I just
- 4:38Speaker 1: don't want to get involved in it anymore. I want
- 4:41Speaker 1: to go back to laughing and get on sip in
- 4:43Speaker 1: and being silly. We made a conscious decision on this
- 4:46Speaker 1: show to never talk about politics, and I think it
- 4:48Speaker 1: was the right choice. People come to this podcast to escape,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and I think that's the same thing with The View
- 4:55Speaker 1: and all these silly entertainment shows. We just want to escape.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And so that's why Megan McCain is out, which brings
- 5:03Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day. The View
- 5:08Speaker 1: is pivoting away from politics. Is this a good idea
- 5:14Speaker 1: or a bad idea? Hey, go vote on our Twitter
- 5:17Speaker 1: page and Naughty Nice Rob Facebook page is naughty gossip.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You can leave a comment there and be sure to
- 5:23Speaker 1: check back on Monday. We do have a show on
- 5:25Speaker 1: Monday for your results. We have the real reason that
- 5:30Speaker 1: Kate Middleton was missing from the big statue unveiling in London.
- 5:34Speaker 1: A source tells US Weekly. Why quote our respect for
- 5:38Speaker 1: Harry and William. The royal family wanted this to be
- 5:41Speaker 1: about Diana's son's, not a big public affair. That's why
- 5:44Speaker 1: the Duchess was missing. This is about Harry and William.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Kate never actually met Diana. Williams spoken about this and
- 5:52Speaker 1: he said it's very difficult because he wants his children
- 5:54Speaker 1: to know about their grandma, their granny. But Kate had
- 5:57Speaker 1: never met her. Obviously, we all who Princess Diana was,
- 6:01Speaker 1: but it's different. She knew her like you all I did.
- 6:04Speaker 1: She had never ever met her. So William said, is
- 6:07Speaker 1: that he keeps her memory alive with pictures. He tells
- 6:10Speaker 1: his children's stories. This day was about Diana and the boys.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Also to a lot of people from Diana's family, was
- 6:17Speaker 1: there not the Windsors. Insiders tell me this was very
- 6:20Speaker 1: much a day for the Spencers, not the Windsor. So
- 6:25Speaker 1: Kate stayed away. Although a little spy tells me before
- 6:30Speaker 1: the big public unveiling in London, Kate and William and
- 6:36Speaker 1: their children did a little private to her. They went
- 6:39Speaker 1: to see the statue. They introduced the kids to their grammy.
- 6:43Speaker 1: It's so beautiful, isn't it. But Kate definitely supports William,
- 6:46Speaker 1: even though she physically wasn't there, she was there for him.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Harry turned up about fifteen minutes before. He only stayed
- 6:53Speaker 1: about an hour and a half. He's already on a
- 6:55Speaker 1: flight back to America. It was a world wind visit.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Anybody that's hoping, including Mia, that this moment with their
- 7:04Speaker 1: mommy would lead to peace, it did not. I'm told
- 7:08Speaker 1: things are very very difficult. Although after Harry press the
- 7:12Speaker 1: nuclear button, after that Operah interview, inside has tell me
- 7:17Speaker 1: he will never ever really be invited back. Some things
- 7:22Speaker 1: can never be the same. Has that ever happened to
- 7:24Speaker 1: you as a member of your family, done something that's
- 7:27Speaker 1: just so outrageous that it's just never the same. That
- 7:30Speaker 1: as long as Megan Markel is around, this is going
- 7:33Speaker 1: to be very very difficult. They're also bracing themselves. They
- 7:37Speaker 1: are bracing themselves for leaks. So after Prince Philip's funeralle
- 7:43Speaker 1: a lot of leaks occurred primarily in the American press.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Members of the Palace and the family really looked to
- 7:53Speaker 1: Harry and Megan as the source of those leaks. So
- 7:57Speaker 1: if Oprah knows what's going on. Member Gail King was
- 8:00Speaker 1: on TV talking about the funeral, we know where she
- 8:03Speaker 1: got all that information from. So they are bracing themselves
- 8:06Speaker 1: for leaks. Harry Megan. The only chance of a united family,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I think, is to take it down just a little
- 8:15Speaker 1: bit of a notch and stop telling people's secrets. It's
- 8:17Speaker 1: difficult for me to say I've made a living out
- 8:21Speaker 1: of telling people's secrets, but I got to admit to
- 8:23Speaker 1: one of the reasons. Maybe the main reason I'm really
- 8:26Speaker 1: successful at this is because I know how to keep
- 8:30Speaker 1: a secret. All the gossip that I spread each day,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and I love it, all the digging I do to
- 8:37Speaker 1: get the best scoop. I'm also very very good and
- 8:41Speaker 1: keeping a secret when I have to the boys that
- 8:45Speaker 1: it is. William and Harry released a joint statement. They
- 8:49Speaker 1: did not talk at the big ceremony, but they did
- 8:52Speaker 1: say the following quote. We remember her love, strength and character,
- 8:57Speaker 1: qualities that made her a forceful good or around the world.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Change in countless lives for the better. Every day we
- 9:06Speaker 1: wish she was still here with us, and our hope
- 9:08Speaker 1: is that this statue will be seen forever as a
- 9:13Speaker 1: symbol of her life and legacy. I hope. So there's
- 9:17Speaker 1: a little bit of backlash today in London about the statue.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Apparently a lot of people do not like it. They
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't think it really really tells us who Diana is.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Was take a look at the pictures and let me
- 9:30Speaker 1: know what you think about the statue. Also too, when
- 9:34Speaker 1: these events happen, I do love it. We get the
- 9:36Speaker 1: body language experts on the phone and so body language
- 9:40Speaker 1: experts take it for whatever it's worth. Said the following Brince.
- 9:44Speaker 1: William looked strong, confident and statesman like in this role.
- 9:50Speaker 1: He did take charge. Harry actually was a little bit deferential.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He took a couple of steps behind William. William is
- 9:55Speaker 1: going to be the kings. Not only is he the
- 9:58Speaker 1: eldest of the two, he is going to be the
- 10:01Speaker 1: King of England one day, so Harry gave him a
- 10:04Speaker 1: little bit of respect there. I think also to these
- 10:07Speaker 1: body language experts, they noticed that Harry had a very
- 10:10Speaker 1: tense jaw and was making bigger hand gestures, which apparently
- 10:15Speaker 1: indicates that he is less comfortable than he's trying to
- 10:19Speaker 1: appear another body. Experts said that they did seem in
- 10:23Speaker 1: sync though they were talking before the camera started rolling.
- 10:27Speaker 1: William's body language is more formal. Harry a little bit
- 10:31Speaker 1: less formal, and we noticed that by his jacket beaned unbuttoned.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Moving along. Did Kim Kardashian get in trouble at the
- 10:40Speaker 1: Vatican because of her dress code? So, Kim were a
- 10:43Speaker 1: very sexy dress, had lots of cutouts. You saw a
- 10:46Speaker 1: lot of flesh when she went to the Vatican in
- 10:49Speaker 1: Italy earlier this week. We spoke about it. Lots of
- 10:51Speaker 1: people are wondering did she adhere to the strict dress code.
- 10:56Speaker 1: One expert said, quote, both men and women both need
- 10:59Speaker 1: to cover their knees and upper arms. They are prohibited
- 11:03Speaker 1: from wearing shorts or skirts above the knee, sleeveless TOMPs.
- 11:06Speaker 1: They're out of low cut shirts. Well, I don't know,
- 11:11Speaker 1: because I looked at Kim and she looked pretty naked
- 11:14Speaker 1: to me. Kim has actually spoken out about this, of
- 11:18Speaker 1: course she has, Kim said. The following she put up
- 11:21Speaker 1: a disclaimer saying, quote, don't worry. I adhered to the
- 11:25Speaker 1: dress code and fully covered up inside St. Peter's and
- 11:29Speaker 1: assistants chapel. Kim, Kim, Kim, You've always keep us on
- 11:33Speaker 1: at hers. Now what's interesting is everybody's asking what is
- 11:36Speaker 1: Kim actually doing in Italy? She started to film her
- 11:40Speaker 1: new TV show. So they've left ear They've already started
- 11:43Speaker 1: their new show on Hulu, which makes it very puzzling
- 11:46Speaker 1: that Kim and the family said they needed some time off.
- 11:49Speaker 1: That's why they were leaving a rubbish They were leaving
- 11:53Speaker 1: because they got a better deal on Hulu, which is
- 11:56Speaker 1: owned by Disney. The problem is nobody really knows what
- 11:58Speaker 1: this show is. My was He's tell me. Kim now
- 12:01Speaker 1: thinks of herself as a lifestyle expert. This show is
- 12:04Speaker 1: going to be based on travel culture, fashion international Cuizie,
- 12:09Speaker 1: not necessarily a reality show. So Kim's there without the sisters.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's not the family, it's just Kim and of all people,
- 12:17Speaker 1: Kate Moss, the models with her. So they're doing fashion
- 12:20Speaker 1: talk from Italy. Would you watch this show? Would you
- 12:23Speaker 1: want to show where Kim becomes? Really the modern day
- 12:26Speaker 1: Martha Stewart giving us tips on how to live a
- 12:29Speaker 1: fabulous life, Kim as a tour guide. Could you see that?
- 12:33Speaker 1: I don't know, Kimsey Taly, I don't know. I sort
- 12:36Speaker 1: of miss I know you're gonna be angry, but I
- 12:38Speaker 1: sort of miss all the drama of those Kardashians. It's
- 12:41Speaker 1: like taking the real housewives and taking them to somewhere
- 12:45Speaker 1: fancy Paris and pretending that suddenly they're high end, fabulous
- 12:51Speaker 1: cultural attaches. Good look with this, Kim, I'm told it's
- 12:55Speaker 1: a little bit of a mess. Moving along. It seems
- 12:58Speaker 1: like Angelina Jolie and The Weekend might be together, but
- 13:02Speaker 1: that is not the case. My surci say they were
- 13:04Speaker 1: spotted out together. They were leaving your restaurants, a fancy restaurant,
- 13:08Speaker 1: Georgio Baldi. It's very fancy in Los Angeles, and the
- 13:12Speaker 1: rumor mill was set up blaze that these two were
- 13:15Speaker 1: on a date night. However, my sources tell me it's
- 13:18Speaker 1: actually business. The Weekend he wants to get into acting,
- 13:22Speaker 1: so he has pretty much owned the music business over
- 13:25Speaker 1: the last couple of years. Now he is focusing on
- 13:28Speaker 1: becoming an actor. Angelina not only a very successful actress,
- 13:33Speaker 1: but also a producer and a director. She's got a
- 13:36Speaker 1: project that he's interested in. They went out to have dinner.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Did they know they were going to start these rumors?
- 13:42Speaker 1: Of course they did, and they didn't have to go
- 13:43Speaker 1: to this restaurant. Once again, I say it all the time,
- 13:46Speaker 1: when celebrities don't want to be photographed, there are a
- 13:49Speaker 1: million restaurants they can go to. They always picked this
- 13:52Speaker 1: really sort of paparazzi hangouts. I'm not sure why they
- 13:56Speaker 1: picked those places, but they picked these sort of paparazzi hangouts.
- 13:58Speaker 1: We get the pictures, but the two of them love
- 14:00Speaker 1: the attention. I think they love all the rumors. But
- 14:02Speaker 1: it is not true. They're not together as a couple,
- 14:06Speaker 1: at least not yet. Although Brad met Angelina filming your movie,
- 14:10Speaker 1: so maybe they might find love on a movie. Said,
- 14:12Speaker 1: this is about his career in the past, he has
- 14:15Speaker 1: dated Bella headied in two thousand and fifteen. And also
- 14:19Speaker 1: to remember when he was with Selina Gomez. I remember that, Hey,
- 14:24Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 14:26Speaker 1: be back. Welcome back to the naughty but Nice show.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's just us today. Naughty is I sort of like it.
- 14:36Speaker 1: We can do this. I know I used to get
- 14:38Speaker 1: so nervous when I had to do the shows by myself.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Twenty minutes rattling on by yourself can be a little
- 14:46Speaker 1: bit stressful. But you know what I think of all you.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I think of the Naughties, and we're in this together
- 14:51Speaker 1: and not by myself. We are in this together, and
- 14:54Speaker 1: that's why the twenty minutes flies by. Okay, let's get
- 14:58Speaker 1: to the polls. That did you do? The sound effect
- 15:02Speaker 1: very official? So last show we talked about Bill Cosby's
- 15:06Speaker 1: sex assault conviction being overturned. We asked, well, Harvey Weinstein
- 15:12Speaker 1: be next. There's lots and lots of concern that now
- 15:14Speaker 1: maybe Harvey could get out of jail too, although the
- 15:17Speaker 1: circumstances are very different. Said no, I'm with you, grateful
- 15:23Speaker 1: about that too. Don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Our Twitter page had Naughty Nice rob or our Facebook
- 15:31Speaker 1: page which is naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment
- 15:33Speaker 1: there and be sure to check back on Monday to
- 15:38Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for the nicest
- 15:43Speaker 1: of the day. We used to actually have sound effects
- 15:49Speaker 1: back in the day, some of them, some of the
- 15:50Speaker 1: naughties will remember our sound effects. We can't afford them now,
- 15:54Speaker 1: so we have to license them and it's very expensive
- 15:57Speaker 1: and legally it's very difficult. So I figured out we
- 16:00Speaker 1: would just do our own sound effects. Let's do it
- 16:03Speaker 1: again altogether. You sound great. Mark Woolburg is sharing a
- 16:08Speaker 1: lovely tribute to his wife, who he calls smoke Shows.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Mark is honoring his wife's smoke shows, Raya Durham, on
- 16:18Speaker 1: her forty three birthday. He took to Instagram, posted a
- 16:21Speaker 1: beautiful picture of the two of them and said, happy
- 16:23Speaker 1: birthday to my wife Raya, who is not only a
- 16:27Speaker 1: total smoke shower, but most importantly an incredible mother to
- 16:32Speaker 1: our amazing children. I love you, babe. This is so lovely.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Can you imagine being married to somebody as famous as
- 16:40Speaker 1: Marky Mark, I know you've got to be a really
- 16:42Speaker 1: strong person to sort of be in the shadows there.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So happy, happy birthday. You are the nicest of the
- 16:48Speaker 1: day and now and naughtiest to the day. Norty, norty, naughty, Nordy.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Sound cross here Calton Underwood from The Bachelor. He's putting
- 16:57Speaker 1: his arms on full display. So three months after Coulton
- 17:01Speaker 1: came out as gay, Hello Colton, Welcome to the club.
- 17:04Speaker 1: The bachelor is wasting no time showing off his assets
- 17:07Speaker 1: to the world. He certainly is. In a series of
- 17:10Speaker 1: very sexy black and white photos, Colton is seen covering
- 17:14Speaker 1: his groin with a leather jacket. Also too, it looks
- 17:18Speaker 1: like he is stepping away from the boy next door
- 17:20Speaker 1: image and now he's going to be a sexy gay hunk.
- 17:24Speaker 1: All good with that. He's removing his shirt, He's running
- 17:28Speaker 1: in very tight short check out the pictures on Naughty Gossip.
- 17:31Speaker 1: The reason he's the naughtiest of the day. It's just
- 17:33Speaker 1: a few days ago it was revealed the Coulton received
- 17:36Speaker 1: p P P loans from the government, typically given to
- 17:41Speaker 1: small businesses to help fund pay roll costs during the pandemic.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There was a huge backlash, asking why did he get
- 17:49Speaker 1: eleven thousand dollars. He insisted that he is not personally
- 17:53Speaker 1: benefiting from the loans. To three days later, what happens
- 17:56Speaker 1: he takes his clothes off. We know what you're up to, Colton.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We're not going to be fooled. Yes, the pictures are delicious.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You are trying to change the subjects and I've got
- 18:05Speaker 1: to say, my friend, you almost pulled it off. You're
- 18:07Speaker 1: look great, the pictures look great. We know what you're
- 18:11Speaker 1: up to. Celebrities do this all the time when they're
- 18:13Speaker 1: in trouble. Expect them to go to the beach. I
- 18:16Speaker 1: know how many times do you see a housewife in
- 18:18Speaker 1: Miami in a bikini when they're in trouble. It's sort
- 18:20Speaker 1: of like a magical celebrity trick. They know how to
- 18:23Speaker 1: do this and change the subjects. You're a naughtiest of
- 18:26Speaker 1: the day, and now it's time for a moment of rob.
- 18:30Speaker 1: You gotta rob, You gotta rob, you gonna rob, You
- 18:31Speaker 1: get a rob Sponsored by The Forward Answer, my new book,
- 18:36Speaker 1: which is available now on Amazon dot com. Kindness isn't
- 18:40Speaker 1: the first thing that comes to mind when you think
- 18:42Speaker 1: about celebrities, yet I promise you kindness is central to
- 18:46Speaker 1: their success. I have seen firsthand, firsthand that nobody is
- 18:51Speaker 1: kinder to themselves than Jennifer Lopezz, Jessica Simpson, Eliga Keys,
- 18:55Speaker 1: did you I worked for all those people. They're super
- 18:58Speaker 1: super kind to themselves. We've got to start doing the
- 19:02Speaker 1: same thing if we want to be happy and successful,
- 19:04Speaker 1: if we want to live like j Lo, Jessica Simpson
- 19:07Speaker 1: or did he, We've got to start being kind to ourselves.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I promise you talent is not necessarily the foundation of
- 19:15Speaker 1: their success. No, it's their minds and how they think,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and that starts with the cornerstone of being kind to themselves.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Try it. Let's all try it. That's it for today.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to the Naughty but
