- 0:22podcast, shall we? Boom.
- 0:25Hello and welcome to another episode of the Christian we've
- 0:28podcast. Today's guest is 8.
- 0:30Which streamer a variety streamer.
- 0:32Staff member at Norco. A professional extreme are all
- 0:36around. All the way from New York City.
- 0:38She goes by the pseudonym. L, A Dream Ellie dream.
- 0:43Welcome to the show, how you did.
- 0:44Hi, you did say, all right? It's all I dream.
- 0:46So I need you. Okay.
- 0:49Everyone thinks that it's a like, the beer that actually
- 0:55actually kind of ticks me off. Like, no, it's not beard ale,
- 0:58but nobody knows. Is my actual last name and they
- 1:01don't understand the reason why it's all I do the pronouncing a
- 1:06pronunciation. I can't even say that word can't
- 1:08pronounce pronunciation correctly of my last name
- 1:12because it has an S sound so Allah say instead of e or a.
- 1:18So yeah, let's there's a little phonics for you.
- 1:22Yeah, I spent quite a few years abroad in Europe, so I'm kind of
- 1:25used to pronouncing I suppose standard letters.
- 1:30Alphabet in different ways. So whenever I see like something
- 1:33like this, I kind of go, maybe it's pronounced the other way
- 1:36and I sort of try it. And you know what else you got
- 1:39it? You're good.
- 1:40You got it right? Let's dive straight into it.
- 1:43When did you first get into streaming and what do you love
- 1:45about it? I started streaming IRL
- 1:50streaming in third-party sites about like maybe four years ago.
- 1:55Maybe longer I always lose count but I definitely started around
- 1:59my 20. He's of streaming on to
- 2:02third-party apps and then later on in it.
- 2:07After that, during that time, I switch over to game streaming
- 2:11instead of just doing just chatting streams on my phone.
- 2:17Because you know, you guys those apps that you just go live and
- 2:20your phone is your camera. And then you see the little
- 2:23screen with the chat in the bottom on your camera.
- 2:27And that's how you like communicate with your viewers.
- 2:30So, if you found that to be a sort of a massive difference, in
- 2:34terms of Engagement, since you made the move from IRL to
- 2:37gaming. So, that's funny.
- 2:40You say that? I felt like when I did IRL, I
- 2:43definitely had more engagement because I actually did a test on
- 2:47this. A while back.
- 2:48When I did Facebook gaming, I couldn't do game streaming.
- 2:52So I was visiting Arizona and I literally was just chilling in
- 2:56the backyard. I hit the live button and it was
- 2:59just Me and the background. No green screen.
- 3:02No game. And immediately 40 to 50.
- 3:06People came just to watch me as me instead of me in front of a
- 3:11game. So, definitely just chatting and
- 3:13in real life. Streaming has a bigger number of
- 3:17yours than actual game streaming.
- 3:19But I always prefer game streaming in my eyes.
- 3:23So, yeah, I get the same thing as well.
- 3:25I've started doing. Yeah, I suppose just discussion
- 3:31Streams or sometimes amas or whatever, and they always get
- 3:35way more engagement and I just it's interesting a couple of
- 3:38people have said in the chat like oh I like listening to you
- 3:42talk. And I'm like, why like it's one
- 3:45thing to see why ever really cute accent.
- 3:48So I think I think that's why your accent is very of
- 3:52welcoming. I mean the thing is they're like
- 3:57like sometimes these streams are very long so it's like an hour.
- 4:00Two hours and I think sometimes don't get me wrong.
- 4:02We have good conversations in there.
- 4:04But when I compare that to the game and streams, I just think
- 4:07overall that's more interesting because you have a combination
- 4:10of both. So it's like, I'm sure, you
- 4:13know, I'll put you, but we don't have this issue anymore.
- 4:15But you know, when you first started doing the game and
- 4:17streams, you have like streams, we're just no one's coming in
- 4:20but you've got the game into focus on.
- 4:22So then people come in, they even start a conversation or
- 4:25they don't either way, there's content there.
- 4:27Whereas the problem I find is if If it's IRL stream.
- 4:33Then you've kind of got to just talk until people come in and
- 4:37then start the engagements or factor.
- 4:40It's true. I actually agree with that.
- 4:42Like the gaming definitely makes it much easier.
- 4:46The fact that you actually are keeping your mind occupied while
- 4:51waiting for someone to say hello to you in the chat.
- 4:54Usually, when you're starting to game streamer game stream,
- 4:57doesn't actually push live until Maybe two to three minutes as
- 5:02you hit the like button because I hit the like button.
- 5:05I don't like a my life yet and I see a buffering, I'm like, okay
- 5:09I'm not live yet and then all of a sudden the boxes.
- 5:11Hey Allah, Jim is live playing. So and so and what it was.
- 5:14So and so, so and then people just start coming in because
- 5:17they get the notifications and a lot of people don't understand
- 5:21the importance of notifications or Dare, just used to your
- 5:26consistency of a schedule. So I always tell my viewers,
- 5:29make sure have those notifications.
- 5:30Vacations on. And if you don't have those
- 5:32notifications on join my Discord because Discord Novick, if
- 5:35notifications are so accurate, I love the Discord notifications.
- 5:42Have you always done that? The, the sort of calls to
- 5:45action? Because this is something that
- 5:46I've started recently, I used to be quite like, I'll never do
- 5:50that. You know, if people want to
- 5:51subscribe, they can just subscribe button.
- 5:53Then the couple of my Streaming Friends were saying to me.
- 5:55No, no, I asked them to because otherwise, they won't and When I
- 6:00started doing that suddenly you know the numbers start slowly
- 6:04going up and there's more engagement and so have you done
- 6:07that from the from the get-go or did you sort of trial it or
- 6:10something? So as I hit affiliate on Twitch
- 6:15in the beginning I did ask just in the beginning to go to try
- 6:20and then instead of asking I just put a gold bar and let it
- 6:24and let my stream acts for itself.
- 6:25And then I set a timer on my chat or is it?
- 6:28So if you're a prime number, Make sure to use that free Prime
- 6:32so you could get a free sub but I don't have to say it out of my
- 6:36mouth. There's always that one person
- 6:39that's super generous to give a bunch of subs and then there's
- 6:42the that viewer that will constantly resub just for my
- 6:46content. Like I get so like mesmerized
- 6:50every time I hear the resub song and I see someone saying resub
- 6:55for six months straight, 10 months straight yesterday
- 6:57someone resub for 10 months straight and I'm like This is so
- 7:01cool that we first continuing to return to check out my content
- 7:07and they were sobbing. It means I'm doing something
- 7:10right. So I think it works in both
- 7:14ways. People could either ask or just
- 7:17you know, go with the flow and expect the unexpected which is a
- 7:21model I live by awesome. Awesome.
- 7:24I gotta say like I do Envy you and because I'm not just
- 7:29yourself I have other The stream of friends who were doing really
- 7:31well. And I've been streaming, I'll be
- 7:34okay quite quite recently since March of last year but I still
- 7:37haven't hit that affiliate thing yet and it's last year.
- 7:41That's correct. Yeah, me too.
- 7:43I oh, okay. Well then I love Facebook gaming
- 7:48around the beginning of March and I hit affiliate on Twitch
- 7:53and March 13th. I'll make a year this March.
- 7:57Did you presumably? You had a following And like a,
- 8:01quite well established following prior to that.
- 8:04Yes, I left my Facebook account with 10,000 followers to start
- 8:09over on Twitch. So how many of them migrated I'd
- 8:13say more like 70 to 200 of them, which is a very, very big
- 8:21number. If you think about it, it
- 8:23definitely the ratio is way off, but I feel like it's more
- 8:28authentic on Twitch then Facebook because what happened
- 8:32is Facebook, literally just automatically superficially
- 8:36inflates, your numbers and all the stuff because it's linked to
- 8:41your personal account. So automatically if you do have
- 8:45three thousand friends on your Facebook account, those three
- 8:48thousand friends will automatically like your page
- 8:51unless they get the notifications too much and
- 8:53unlike your page, and then if you, then there's this thing
- 8:57called boosting, where you pay a certain amount.
- 9:00Want to advertise your page for sponsored posts and that helps
- 9:04you grow your page. But financially, not
- 9:07organically. So, Facebook has all these
- 9:11marketing tools to help you grow your page.
- 9:14But just in numbers, not in a density intense to the city, I
- 9:18can't say the word. You know what I mean?
- 9:20Like, a fantastic organic views, and it's just, it's just
- 9:25discouraging. And with twitch, it's actually
- 9:29harder to grow. And I've noticed that little by
- 9:33little, but as I keep streaming and I keep doing what I'm doing
- 9:37and I keep changing it up and keeping a consistent schedule.
- 9:41I do see returning viewers and I do see that the number is
- 9:46growing slowly, but surely it is a marathon, not a race.
- 9:51Absolutely nice. It's interesting.
- 9:52You bring that up because, you know, I've used Facebook over
- 9:56the years for various different things and I do use it as a Sort
- 10:00of a basis for Content but it's kind of like an afterthought
- 10:03like I put stuff on there that, you know, it's like YouTube
- 10:07twitch and then everything at well as, you know, Instagrams in
- 10:10there and then everything else and I kind of feel like because
- 10:13Facebook does this stuff a night like that, they do kind of try
- 10:17to hide your organic reach or try to stop you and this is
- 10:21where I find it funny because sometimes even in despite of
- 10:24that other things can help you out like hashtags.
- 10:27Like I have this video that was part of a Which series that I
- 10:30did which was like I know things that 90s kids will remember or
- 10:35something. That's just like five videos.
- 10:37One after the other. Right?
- 10:39And one of them for some bizarre reason got like 17 thousand
- 10:43views so no one thousand seven hundred views but 100% organic,
- 10:48so no pain nothing right. And I'm sitting there,
- 10:50scratching my head. Like how is this possible?
- 10:52Especially since Facebook tries to bury you all the time.
- 10:56And of course, you know, if you are paying to boost your It's
- 11:00there's the issue of like how they actually sort of do that
- 11:04for you. So like I've seen campaigns not
- 11:07just in streaming but just in general like for certain
- 11:09businesses of work for over the years where let's say, you do a
- 11:15seven-day campaign and then sometimes they won't start the
- 11:19campaign until that final three days and then just shovel of
- 11:22that money into the final three days.
- 11:25But they won't actually like, Put it where you want to put it
- 11:28or spread it evenly or whatever, so it's like a wasted campaign
- 11:31essentially, but I've heard more bad than I have sort of good.
- 11:37So it's interesting that you have had some success there, but
- 11:40then again, Facebook gaming is sort of totally different to
- 11:43just everything else that's available on Facebook, but so,
- 11:48that leads me to my next question.
- 11:49Like, why did you actually decide to make the the switch?
- 11:52Because that's a big deal. You had 10,000 followers, and
- 11:55you've essentially almost like started from Scratch that
- 11:58obviously you have people migrated but a lot of people
- 12:00weren't willing which to me is interesting as well because I
- 12:03feel like Twitches of far better platform, just for streaming and
- 12:07also, you know, engaging with the content, just as a viewer.
- 12:12So yeah, it was just a little bit about that.
- 12:15Soul of effect is said that because I do like that which is
- 12:18more an ominous since on Facebook everything you see
- 12:21their real names and everything and the reason why I actually
- 12:25left Facebook was Because I was getting frustrated.
- 12:30I felt like I was in growing enough.
- 12:33My Views weren't matching my numbers.
- 12:36I've been through situations of like streamer drama on Facebook
- 12:41and then on top of that, I went to a Facebook meeting and came
- 12:45back to my Facebook account not less than two days after.
- 12:50And my account was locked for a month.
- 12:53So I could even access my personal page and I couldn't act
- 12:55with anything. Even stream and it was very
- 12:59frustrating. And it's the fact that the
- 13:01personal page was the most worrisome, I really couldn't
- 13:04care less about the Facebook gaming page because I could just
- 13:06start over my personal page. I've had that since high school
- 13:10and I did not want to lose that. So I felt like, okay, I don't
- 13:16want to be walking on eggshells. If they do give my account back
- 13:19which they did, they give my account back after a month and I
- 13:23still don't understand why I was locked.
- 13:24They said, either, I was getting hacked or Something or some
- 13:28excuse but, and during that time, when I was locked out of
- 13:32Facebook, I gave YouTube a try and Twitter try and then mixer,
- 13:37of course, you know, mixers no more but I gave those three
- 13:41platforms to try and I prefer twitch, I didn't like YouTube.
- 13:47I felt like you took was a little toxic.
- 13:50It's like when I was playing the first person shooting game so,
- 13:54you know, this sexist remarks and the harassment was Coming at
- 13:58me. And I'm like, no, I can't deal
- 13:59with that. And I did twitch.
- 14:02It's interesting. I got to sit, so, to interject
- 14:04here. But like, fine.
- 14:05I really wanted because I feel like, you know, ten years ago,
- 14:09you could always expect that. Like, it was almost that's, you
- 14:12know, probably longer than that. Like, let's say, 13 years ago.
- 14:15It was very common to hear like sexist comments in like, you
- 14:17know, Call of Duty lobbies and staff.
- 14:20And, you know, just just in general, gamer girls was just a
- 14:23new anomaly or, you know, not It wasn't common like these days,
- 14:29everyone games and it's amazing to me and I really like the fact
- 14:32that that's happened, but I'm just surprised to hear that
- 14:36there's still that. I mean, obviously there's going
- 14:37to be sexiest races, just assholes online but it surprises
- 14:42me that you were mainly getting that because what, I'm seeing a
- 14:46lot now with female streamers is what, you know, these Simpson in
- 14:52cells and stuff. And the only aggression tending
- 14:55to be sort of emanate from Mike If they get annoyed something
- 14:59you do like I don't know the setup when poke when people
- 15:02found out the Pokey, main had a boyfriend and suddenly they all
- 15:06got annoyed which I just found a bit puzzling but some so I'm
- 15:11kind of surprised to hear that if I'm honest.
- 15:14Like I don't know if that's a good point because you know the
- 15:17viewers see this illusion and you know, some of these viewers
- 15:22are either, you know, dealing with personal issues.
- 15:27Is or, you know, maybe they're lonely and they choose to watch
- 15:31a streamer because they're entertained.
- 15:34They actually like the content and of course, they find out
- 15:37something like that. That's like drastic change to
- 15:40them because they think they have a chance but Steven is not
- 15:43a dating site and people need to definitely get that in their
- 15:46heads. It's not a dating site.
- 15:48It's a site where people could get their Hobbies like do their
- 15:54Hobbies or do it as a courier or All those type of stuff but
- 15:58people need to consider that and yes harassment and sexist
- 16:02remarks actually have gotten worse during this days because
- 16:06of the competition. There's been so many
- 16:08competitions and tournaments, and we're constantly getting
- 16:12criticized. We're getting criticized,
- 16:14either. For either being a good player,
- 16:16a bad player better streamer, the bad streamer selling
- 16:21ourselves, not selling ourselves.
- 16:23Now, being provocative enough and all those things and it's
- 16:27very Very, very frustrating because there are girl, gamers
- 16:31out there gamer girls. I don't want anyone like label
- 16:34us out there. That's actually putting out
- 16:37content, and instead of the content being seen, it's mostly
- 16:42overlooked, these other type of streamers, and I've nothing
- 16:46against them. If it works for them, it works
- 16:48for them, but I would not do that for myself as my market.
- 16:52You know, they portray themselves as that way, and
- 16:55they're successful and good. Them.
- 16:58But you know, a lot of people just likes to just criticize and
- 17:02judge and it's a very very very very very hard Market gaming,
- 17:10marketing streaming. All those things with the media
- 17:14is definitely, you're signing your signing yourself for either
- 17:18success or failure. No matter what.
- 17:21It's just how you portray yourself and how serious are you
- 17:25going to take it? So so yeah it's just it's
- 17:29retainer ridiculous. I agree.
- 17:32I think it really is. I mean, I think it partially
- 17:35emanates from a couple of things that one thing is obviously just
- 17:37jealousy and people being assholes.
- 17:40I think there is an element of Truth in the statement that if,
- 17:43if you're a female and you set up a stream or, you know, like
- 17:48an Instagram page or something like that, you just
- 17:50automatically gain followers. And I don't even think because
- 17:54some people go, oh, that's sexist.
- 17:55To say it's not, it's just Like reality, it just happens and I
- 17:59don't know why. I mean there's a lot of reasons
- 18:02why that could be. I think it's just one of those
- 18:05things in life generally just happened but obviously the
- 18:09danger from that is. Yeah.
- 18:11You face a lot of backlash because then people will say, oh
- 18:13well you know you only have followers because you're a
- 18:15female and blah blah blah but that's horseshit because like a
- 18:20streaming is very, very difficult.
- 18:23Like I didn't realize until I started streaming.
- 18:25I thought, oh, that's easy. You just sit.
- 18:26Turn the Omron, no problem. But no, you gotta like be
- 18:31invest. It's the same as this doing a
- 18:32podcast or even doing a YouTube video, you know?
- 18:35But the difference is with a YouTube video, was that 20
- 18:38minutes and then relax, whereas with the twitch stream or a
- 18:42stream in general, you've got to be active engaging for like 23,
- 18:46or maybe more hours. And that is tiring.
- 18:50People don't sort of understand, How much like that takes of you?
- 18:56That's why, for instance, when I see people post like, hey, I'm
- 18:59going to take a mental health break, blah, blah, blah.
- 19:01I'm going to take some time for myself and people go, screw you,
- 19:05you don't do anything but they just don't get it cause it's
- 19:09like, it takes so much of your energy and yeah, I get it
- 19:13sometimes I've had mental health issues from time to time and one
- 19:16thing I always say about that is that you have to take a bit of
- 19:20time away and just kind of Not do anything, essentially, almost
- 19:26like hibernate sleep and then come back to it and you're so
- 19:30full of life again. But if you just continue, you
- 19:34just burn out. That's just the reality of the
- 19:36situation. Yeah, it's funny.
- 19:38You actually mention about the burning out because I've dealt
- 19:42with, like burnouts and that major burnouts.
- 19:45I haven't got to that point that I take like, either a full month
- 19:49off, but I did almost got to the point when I used to play.
- 19:53Competitive multiplayer games because the multiplayer
- 19:56competitive games, actually, drain me even faster than actual
- 20:00single player, story games. And my anxiety went off the
- 20:05roof, and I didn't want to stream any more because
- 20:08everyone's like, play this game. Play this game.
- 20:10It was so much pressure on me, and since I made the switch
- 20:14from, not me playing multiplayer games, and playing single-player
- 20:17games, playing virtual novel games, like reading stories to
- 20:21my viewers, I feel A better relaxed, I feel relaxed.
- 20:26I feel I feel like I accomplished something and I
- 20:30feel like streaming every day, definitely helped me.
- 20:34But now that I'm changing my schedule a little around, I'm
- 20:37only going to be streaming four days a week.
- 20:40Some of my viewers, hate it, some of my viewers, understand,
- 20:43some of my viewers are like perplex, but real life happens.
- 20:49I have to take care of your Life's real life
- 20:52responsibilities, especially Sleep face starting a new job.
- 20:55I have school. I have all those things that I
- 20:57have to take care of because you know streaming does not pay your
- 21:01bills, sometimes it does. But I'm not to that point that
- 21:04it pays all my bills yet. I have to little by little grow
- 21:08and continue working hard at what I'm doing.
- 21:11But at the same time, health comes first.
- 21:13I have to definitely take care of me first.
- 21:16So, of course, there's reviewers are going to get upset at me
- 21:18that I'm going to take a lot of breaks or I take a lot of days
- 21:22off, but It'll make them, miss me more, so it has its pros and
- 21:26cons. He would that being yet.
- 21:32Because you just not like honestly, like, because I often
- 21:35say this to people, when they go, why don't you stream more?
- 21:37And it's like, well, you know, we haven't been able to get
- 21:41affiliate in. I don't know you like a year
- 21:45close to a year now. And so, I've had to let
- 21:48re-evaluate what I do and think about, hey, what's going to
- 21:51bring it money because this isn't bringing me in money at
- 21:53It's taking all of my time but it's not bringing in money but
- 21:58it will one day and that's the thing.
- 22:00Yes, the way you got to think in the way you got to approach it
- 22:03but yeah, it's a juggling act isn't.
- 22:05Especially if you have to have like full-time employment, I've
- 22:08been lucky in the sense that I don't know if you would call it
- 22:11a lot greatly but since February of last year, I've been
- 22:15unemployed for like the first time in my life.
- 22:17And so I've been like freelancing in my field of
- 22:20marketing here and there and just Kind of Getting By, but the
- 22:24one thing it did give me, which is sort of a blessing in
- 22:27disguise is all of this time to do this.
- 22:30And so I thought, well I'm not going to sit around and mope.
- 22:33I'm just going to do this and go for it.
- 22:35And this is the thing as well, like with what you were saying
- 22:38about having a schedule and like, you know, sticking to
- 22:41that. I actually think that it's
- 22:42better that way as opposed to just like, you know, streaming
- 22:45every day. Streaming all the time.
- 22:47Like all creating videos all the time.
- 22:49It's not about quantity. It's about quality.
- 22:52Yeah. And another interesting thing as
- 22:55well as it's totally different for every single streamer or and
- 22:59YouTube. So for example, I found that the
- 23:04only time I really get proper engagement on my streams, is if
- 23:07I do like the restream thing where it's on YouTube twitch and
- 23:12daddy live or something, and it's like a talking discussion
- 23:16stream which I do like once a week or something.
- 23:19And then also to gaming streams or One gaming stream on the End
- 23:23as well and sort of stick to that schedule just like every
- 23:26weekend. But I found if I do it more I
- 23:29think there's that thing of like, well, people can just kind
- 23:32of catch you then. And, you know, I don't need to
- 23:34watch this stream because I can just catch them whenever.
- 23:36But if it's like, you know, certain amount of times 3 or 4
- 23:40times a week. It's like, well, they're not
- 23:41streaming the other day. So this is my only chance, I
- 23:44gotta make sure I'm there for it.
- 23:46So it's actually less is more, is actually a kind of a more
- 23:48effective strategy, I reckon. Yeah, definitely a less-is-more,
- 23:51it definitely could. Work.
- 23:53It doesn't work for all the streamers, but definitely at
- 23:56your part, if you think, less than is more will help you out,
- 23:59then do it. Especially there's a lot of
- 24:02games that you could actually interact your audience to play
- 24:07with you. Like, there's Jack box party.
- 24:10There's words on stream which words on stream is actually free
- 24:13and all they have to do is type the words in the chat and it
- 24:15pops up in the game. And yeah, there's a lot of
- 24:18things that could actually help your growth and setting a set
- 24:22time. And day, and keeping that
- 24:26momentum will totally get. You an affiliate, like, how far
- 24:29is it? Because of the viewership
- 24:31followers. Oh, it's hopeless for me, it's
- 24:35the viewership thing. I think it's unlike last time, I
- 24:39looked it's like zero point 6, over 3.
- 24:42My advice is definitely, you know, be annoying that annoying
- 24:47more than annoying. That's he's like on Twitter and
- 24:51then tag people that you think will a We like you and tag them
- 24:54and then be like, retweet. This, let's get me to affiliate.
- 24:57Also put, like a catchy title. Is everyone pretty much everyone
- 25:01in my community is content creators, he's nothing.
- 25:06Like I remember I said to one of my friends shout out to but most
- 25:09of coal because he was setting up a podcast and he was like,
- 25:13said he was inspired to do it because he saw my podcast and he
- 25:16was like, yeah, awesome. I'm gonna do it.
- 25:18And I was and he's like, you know, I support you like
- 25:21whenever I can and stuff and I was like, I sort of made it off
- 25:24cut off the hand kind of joke to him.
- 25:26I was like, once you start doing that podcast you will not have
- 25:30the time to watch my content, trust me and within a month or
- 25:35two. Yeah, he doesn't have the time.
- 25:38He's very busy guy. I mean, he has like three
- 25:40YouTube channels and he does Instagram.
- 25:42He's he's, he's the same as me. We both never take a break, both
- 25:46kind of go crazy with the content, but it's true.
- 25:49You know, it's like when people send me stuff like, hey, please
- 25:52support me. Please, you know, check out my
- 25:55content. It's like I would love to, but
- 25:58I'm busy this, not just with this stuff, but with like real
- 26:02life stuff as well, and it's like, you know, I don't really
- 26:06kind of agree with the whole, you know, like for like, watch
- 26:10for what? Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 26:13That's a No-No because it doesn't make your numbers grow.
- 26:15Its just like I said, it's like the Facebook thing.
- 26:18It's an illusion, it's not organic.
- 26:21It's just a number. And you don't want to be a
- 26:24number, you know, you want to be going to be that special viewer
- 26:28or something. But the I actually said
- 26:30something last night, I visit someone stream and I love their
- 26:34content. And this content creator
- 26:37streamer took their time of their night or day and came to
- 26:42check out my stream. Yeah.
- 26:43I love the fact that when streamer is come over to another
- 26:46streamers page and they either come for either inspiration or
- 26:50they want to check out what the streamers about and Why this
- 26:53tumor has a certain amount of numbers?
- 26:55How is she in? He she or he or she is
- 26:58interacting with their chat and it's like a Learning lesson and
- 27:03it's actually good because, you know, Steamers are teachers when
- 27:07you're watching a streamer, you're either learning how to
- 27:10play a game or you're just observing their behavior and
- 27:14their personality but the thing I do not like is when someone's
- 27:19like I want to be just like you I want to be you know.
- 27:22I just want to have that. Perky personality and stuff, and
- 27:25I'm like, no, you don't. I'm in real life.
- 27:27I'm not this perky. I'm actually a very shy.
- 27:30Introvert social awkward person that you wouldn't even recognize
- 27:34I'm the same person on stream and exactly the same as funny,
- 27:42as well. Like, loads of people have said
- 27:43that to me because I used to be like really, really, you know,
- 27:46basically this in real life, over the years, I've become, I
- 27:51call it an omnivore. I like but I'm younger depends
- 27:55on which way the wind blows, you know, like to give you an
- 27:57example sometimes, you know, and bear in mind I've been in bands
- 28:02over the years. I've performed in front of lots
- 28:04of people, I'm used to being around people, but the same
- 28:07time. Now, I have this thing.
- 28:11I can't control it. Really weird.
- 28:13I wonder if there's actually a name for it, but it's like,
- 28:16sometimes I walk into a room and they be loads of people and I'm
- 28:19fine. I'm like, yeah, cool.
- 28:20Yeah, whatever. I'm up for talking partying,
- 28:22whatever. Sometimes I walk into the room,
- 28:24see that and go. How can I get as far away from
- 28:27these fucking people as possible and like hide in a corner maybe
- 28:30read a book. I don't know, I don't know.
- 28:34Is that the older I get the shot?
- 28:37So, yeah, the older you get the shower, you get because when I
- 28:41was younger, I used to do a lot of performances.
- 28:44I'm a singer. And I used to do, like, I had a
- 28:47tour, two years ago that I performed in local malls and
- 28:51stuff. And I had to sing in front of
- 28:52people and then I performed in restaurants and singing.
- 28:57And yeah, I didn't feel shy when I get on stage, but I feel shy
- 29:02before hand. And then when I go to parties, I
- 29:05don't even want to talk to people.
- 29:06I just go on the Or nurse it on my phone or just like listen to
- 29:10music and wave at people. But yeah, I don't like to be
- 29:14around people during this time and especially when I was
- 29:19younger, I always want to be around people.
- 29:22I always wanted to like just be part of the In Crowd but now I
- 29:27just I try to stand out and I just try to get away as far as
- 29:31possible of people. I think the problem is as well
- 29:35as like as you get older, you start Seeing through the pain of
- 29:38my language like bullshit. And what I mean by that is like
- 29:41when you're at a party or something like that, especially
- 29:43when you're younger, like a lot of the time, it's like, who has
- 29:46the best story who can show off the most, who is Janome, you're
- 29:50constantly having to prove yourself and sort of fit in and
- 29:54a couple of years ago, or maybe like five years ago.
- 29:56Or so, I kind of realized like, I'm one of those people that
- 30:00doesn't fit in which is actually kind of a blessing because it
- 30:04means I can just be myself. But, you know, Two other people
- 30:07that comes across as like antisocial but it's okay, I
- 30:11understand. But it's a choice Factor, you
- 30:13know? And the reason I said I'll never
- 30:15earlier is not just because of the behavior thing is also an
- 30:18energy thing so like it takes a lot of energy to be as you say
- 30:24like bubbly, you know, full of life.
- 30:27That's why it's hard to stream for that exact reason but at the
- 30:30same time it really depends on the company because sometimes,
- 30:35you know, you'd be with someone and you.
- 30:37And you could be talking to that person all night long and not
- 30:39get tired at all, and it's great.
- 30:41But like, how often does that really happen often?
- 30:43It's like, Just just trying to put that energy out there trying
- 30:48to be sociable but nothing's really kind of coming of it and
- 30:51you're like, oh why did I even come out?
- 30:53And this is what he's kind of like you know, that you should
- 30:57be out you should you know, young should be out doing what
- 31:00we what we can but at the same time it's like I don't know I
- 31:04think as you get older you kind of pick and choose your moments.
- 31:08Maybe that's the face brings. No little dog.
- 31:12Definitely I agree 100%. Especially as the streamer.
- 31:19You're worried about your image or worried about what you're
- 31:23putting out there. You're worried about how and
- 31:28how, and what you're going to do when, and it's just so many
- 31:32questions and it Definitely would drive a person insane
- 31:37because, you know, time is Limitless.
- 31:41And then at the same time it just goes away.
- 31:44So fast, especially being a nighttime streamer, I realized
- 31:49time goes way quicker than daytime.
- 31:52And I'm, I'm like, nocturnal in a way because I'm more active at
- 31:56the night time, like this right now.
- 31:59This is not how I am. I'm this is like just being
- 32:02chilling collected at the Moment, I'm not a morning
- 32:05person. I don't like mornings.
- 32:07I love the nighttime and and that's why I chose to see.
- 32:12I can see, I totally enjoy the night time and I also have like
- 32:17a sleeping disorder, so it definitely interferes with that,
- 32:21especially with the having minor insomnia and narcolepsy, and I
- 32:28do got to take these Nat and mandatory naps to help me
- 32:31maintain my immune system. And of course Stay alert because
- 32:37there's times that I do like last night.
- 32:39For example, I started my stream at midnight Eastern Standard
- 32:43Time and I usually go up to 3:00 but I couldn't do it anymore.
- 32:47My body was telling me. Okay you're exhausted go to
- 32:51sleep. I like to Way Emma.
- 32:52Like all right. Yeah I know you want to continue
- 32:55this case but my body is telling me I should go.
- 32:59And that means you're going to sew.
- 33:02So yeah, it's definitely. Ali, I don't argue with my body.
- 33:06If I feel tired and I feel exhausted and I need a break, I
- 33:09will I would just do it because I don't want to harm myself or
- 33:14have my viewers worried about me because there's times, they
- 33:17don't worry about me. That's good.
- 33:19At least they care, you know, because I mean, obviously she
- 33:22detailed earlier sometimes people don't understand.
- 33:24And I feel that that's, it's quite selfish, really, you know,
- 33:27I mean, it's like, we all need breaks, we all need to, rest to
- 33:32sleep, you know, all of these things and I think the more
- 33:36given you are as a content creator, you know, in a way, I
- 33:39know how this will make sound. But in a way the more great for
- 33:42your audience should because I mean it does take a lot of
- 33:45energy and time and effort. And you know, like I always have
- 33:48kind of a employed, the rule of like well if I have an idea and
- 33:52I have the energy, I'll just do it, I'll go for it.
- 33:55But if I'm not feeling up to it, you know, sometimes I don't I
- 33:58don't post anything, I don't do anything and, you know, I think
- 34:02sometimes it's good to just Do that and then come back to it
- 34:05because you do always end up coming back.
- 34:07More kind of fresh often with newer ideas but yeah, your
- 34:13audience does need to be a bit more reasonable when it comes to
- 34:16that. But anyway, moving it on.
- 34:21What would you say is your favorite type of content to
- 34:23stream? My favorite type of account is
- 34:27definitely video games. I love video games, no matter
- 34:29what it is, the just chatting streams are great, definitely
- 34:32brings more momentum, but they're actually more exhausting
- 34:36and I have to be careful what I say.
- 34:38And I had to be careful of what topics to talk about, especially
- 34:42their sensitive and triggering topics that shouldn't be spoken
- 34:45about on stream. So, So, with the video game
- 34:49itself, the video game could tell its story and then we can
- 34:51follow along the story and I could just do the commentary as
- 34:55well have just opened discussion of what we ate today or what's
- 34:59our favorite movie and talk about that while playing a video
- 35:03game, or maybe the video game is related to the movie.
- 35:06So I definitely loved to do my virtual novel games, which is
- 35:12I'm reading the story to my viewers and they're following
- 35:15along and it's just The super chillest moment and just
- 35:22wholesome time that it can have while streaming in compared to
- 35:27playing a game like Fury, for example, which is a Boss Rush
- 35:32game, which I am. Hopefully going to finish this,
- 35:35by this weekend, and it's aggravating because I literally
- 35:40have to pause the game to see the chat and interact, because
- 35:44the game requires so much Focus. 10.
- 35:49So you can't even have like it on a separate screen.
- 35:52Just in the background is in terms of it being too
- 35:55distracting. Is that what you mean or more?
- 35:57Because of what the computer requires?
- 35:59Or whatever know the game is actually really fast paced, so
- 36:02you have to see everything that's going on in the game.
- 36:05Because if I Glimpse, because I have, I had my chat on an iPad
- 36:09on my right side where my camera is, so I had to make sure that I
- 36:13have my camera next to the chat. So it looks like I'm looking at
- 36:15them and I'm directly talking to them.
- 36:18And it's good to have eye contact because, you know,
- 36:19that's how what you are when you're in a real life.
- 36:24In a real live conversation with someone you want to have eye
- 36:27contact. So I love to have that eye
- 36:28contact with my viewers. So if I switch for one second,
- 36:33I'll die immediately because the game is super fast.
- 36:36It's a very fast paced game so I paused the chat, I pause the
- 36:40game for a good two to three minutes and chat with my viewers
- 36:43and I'm like okay chat I won't be able to see the chat and not
- 36:46ignoring you. I just I want to beat this game
- 36:49and the sooner, we beat this game, the more we could talk,
- 36:51and they understand that and they, and they see my
- 36:54frustration dying over and over and over again.
- 36:57So, yeah. So it's a win-win.
- 37:01What would you say? The biggest challenges when it
- 37:03comes to streaming, the biggest challenge to come to streaming
- 37:08is hitting the live button. Especially the fact either you
- 37:16have something planned, Are you don't have anything planned.
- 37:20It definitely could be really, really, really, really
- 37:28intimidating. And what I mean by intimidating,
- 37:31it could be either. They're not going to like this
- 37:35game. You're always thinking about
- 37:37others before thinking about yourself.
- 37:39And I've learned that you have to think about yourself before
- 37:43thinking of others, so you have to actually play with you.
- 37:46Enjoy don't. Don't play what you think
- 37:48someone's going to enjoy. If they enjoy it great and if
- 37:51they don't enjoy it, at least they enjoy your company and they
- 37:55want to talk to you as a streamer, not the game.
- 37:58So I realized every person that do come to my stream, they don't
- 38:03come for the game. I play because I've been doing
- 38:05these like sponsored streams and, you know, sponsored dreams,
- 38:08could be really monotonous and repetitive.
- 38:11And it could be like a really boring content, but they come
- 38:15for me because they're actually chatting with And with the
- 38:18mobile game, I could actually focus on the chat and talk with
- 38:22them instead of just like okay I have to hit this button to press
- 38:28to fight the boss while I can't chat with the chat so yeah,
- 38:31definitely hitting that. Like button could be super
- 38:34intimidating. Let's talk a little bit more
- 38:36about sponsorships and stuff. You got a partnership with
- 38:40Amazon. I just thought you know.
- 38:41Yeah. What does that involve?
- 38:43How did it come about? Tell us about that so I can't
- 38:46give too many details about that.
- 38:47Because I signed a dmca, however, due to that experience,
- 38:53I did have the opportunity and chance, to be partnered with a
- 39:00brand new app called game on which is made by Amazon and
- 39:05game. On is aimed towards mobile
- 39:07Gamers. So with the mobile gaming
- 39:10industry, you know, it's one of the biggest gaming initiates.
- 39:13When people say mobile gaming is not gaming, they're absolutely
- 39:16wrong. I've known so many tournaments
- 39:21and competitions, that's taken place in Mobile gaming such as
- 39:24mobile Legends, Call of Duty mobile pop G Mobile.
- 39:28You could win money just by playing a game on your phone,
- 39:31it's wild. And with this application
- 39:36there's challenges and you just reminded me.
- 39:38I ask you to do a challenge today because today is Wednesday
- 39:43and they get these challenges. And what you do is you mimic
- 39:46these challenges or you. You do or you make your own
- 39:49challenges and your record at least a couple of seconds to 5
- 39:54minutes of your gameplay. Using this in Africa quarter
- 39:58without pausing their game without leaving the game.
- 40:01If it chords that moment and then it will be posted on the
- 40:04app and then people could like vote for your challenges if it's
- 40:07the best or not and it also could go to an archive folder
- 40:12where you could post it on outside social medias for
- 40:17marketing purposes. This is edits.
- 40:18It's a really, it's really cool. It's different and it's
- 40:22available only right now in the United States and for Google and
- 40:28Android. It's not available for iOS yet
- 40:30because it's still, you know, it's still in the beginning
- 40:32process, but hopefully it will become worldwide and it will be
- 40:36available for all types of phones.
- 40:39So obviously, when it comes to the sponsorships and presumably
- 40:44a company kind of approaches you And they said, hey, we want you
- 40:49to play X next game, just from the way that you were kind of
- 40:54speaking about it. It does sound very much alike.
- 40:56A not a standard kind of format as far as a stream is concerned,
- 41:01like, it doesn't even sound like necessarily like, you're 100%
- 41:03like, you know, into it. It's like okay I've got to do
- 41:06this because you know, they're paying me and it's obviously
- 41:10worth my time and stuff. But like how do you go about
- 41:12doing that? Like how does it differ to a
- 41:14standard stream 2 agust below? So spicy.
- 41:17Streams could definitely be tedious.
- 41:20My first-ever sponsor. Shame was the rage Shadow
- 41:23Legends one and I didn't think I was going to enjoy the game but
- 41:31I enjoy the game, I liked it, I had fun.
- 41:33Especially when I involved my viewers to download the game or
- 41:40because, you know, if you download the game, you get like
- 41:42a percentage and it definitely was cool to actually involving
- 41:47them because when you have a sponsor stream and you're able
- 41:50to involve your viewers, it's definitely a win.
- 41:56The fact is because you're not doing this alone.
- 41:58Suffering alone and sponsors. James could be either a fun or
- 42:04like I said, yeah there they, they happen randomly.
- 42:09So they're not really planned. So there's some special streams
- 42:13that are planned and some better not and it's either your cure
- 42:18get to contact them when you sign up for like this
- 42:21advertisement or they actually see your contact your content
- 42:25and then they contact you. And in my situation, I was
- 42:33invited to a program which is in beta from Steam, element, okay?
- 42:40The stream elements has a sponsorship program and the
- 42:43first one they had was the rate Shadow Legends and like, okay,
- 42:46I'll give this a try and yeah and if they still haven't done
- 42:50much because they're still you know, due to everything that's
- 42:53happening in the world. Yeah everything kind of slow
- 42:56down a bit. But before that before the raid
- 43:00Shadow Legends on Facebook, I also have done many sponsors
- 43:04streams with independent content, creating talent
- 43:09agencies. And what they do is they, these
- 43:13companies work with developers or work with big major companies
- 43:18like a 10-cent and Ubisoft then, all those type of companies that
- 43:25work with actual gaming and They look for, you know, go-getters,
- 43:31either, content creators, game lovers, anyone to participate in
- 43:37these sponsored opportunities to either promote or Market their
- 43:41game. And it's just, you know, it's
- 43:46it's interesting. The fact that little old me has
- 43:52this opportunity to be able to show off a game that is
- 43:58Downloaded millions and millions of times.
- 44:02But of course, they want either more downloads and more exposure
- 44:05by using these smaller content creators, or establishing
- 44:10content creators because there's no such thing as small or big,
- 44:14it's just an establishment, and it's a growth process.
- 44:19Yes, since you've actually played the game, what's your
- 44:22verdict? What's your opinion on?
- 44:24Red Shadow Legends, is it actually any good?
- 44:28If you're really bored and want to play, you want to play a
- 44:33game, that's less aggravating like Candy Crush then?
- 44:39Yeah. It's a good game.
- 44:40Yeah, wow, I actually enjoy status of ival which is the
- 44:47recent sponsorship that I've I've received.
- 44:51And I'm enjoying state of survival hundred times better in
- 44:55my opinion. The fact is that you get to
- 44:58Zombies and you get to build a settlement and then you get to
- 45:02build your own Alliance and then it has that PVP function where
- 45:06you actually get to attack other people's alliances but then it
- 45:10gets ugly the drama. But other than that I enjoyed
- 45:13state of survival drama on mobile gaming.
- 45:17What? Never heard of it?
- 45:19Oh I didn't mean I don't know. I hear drama and you know there
- 45:22is online but how can get know about Mobile gaming?
- 45:25What they think things, seriously, especially the They
- 45:28put money into the game now, I kinda changed everything
- 45:33precisely. Oh my god.
- 45:36Um, what do you make of? How they're kind of taking
- 45:39mobile games now and actually making console versions as well.
- 45:44That's something that they're sort of preparing to do for
- 45:46certain games. So what do you make of that?
- 45:48You mean console gaming to Mobile gaming, or more, or vice
- 45:50versa, vice versa, so mobile to console and PC and such For
- 45:56example, there is a plan in the works supposedly for them to do
- 46:00that with Red Shadow Legends. apparently, so those who aren't
- 46:09listening to the podcast via YouTube for those who are
- 46:14listening to it on an audio platform.
- 46:16And the dream is going very quiet right now, with sort of
- 46:23Sort of but that's like ripping a leg apart.
- 46:33The fact is there's so many games that are similar to the
- 46:37mobile games. Already made for consoles and
- 46:41requires a whole skill. Of gameplay, instead of like
- 46:48doing the autoplay because no, certain mobile games has the
- 46:51autoplay and you just watch what happens and see and you go by
- 46:54chance and said was like console, it requires skill and
- 46:57require sequence. I had no words.
- 47:01I, it will either be a hit or miss.
- 47:04Yeah, there's a lot of mobile game lovers and stuff and their,
- 47:10their games like that already available for console that
- 47:13requires you to You too for in-app purchases.
- 47:17So had, I have no words, no words at all for this.
- 47:23I don't blame you at a Bernie. There are many, that would
- 47:26probably say that, you know, mobile gaming is a bit of a
- 47:28downgrade from. So PC gaming or, you know, like
- 47:31just conventional console gaming.
- 47:34Would you say that Mobile gaming is improving, or has computer
- 47:39improved considerably over, say, the last 5, to 10 years, I mean,
- 47:42I've seen some games. Oh, yeah.
- 47:44Jensen impact, for example. Okay, Jensen impact is a mobile
- 47:49game. It was firstly made into a
- 47:51mobile game, and then they made it for PC and then they made it
- 47:564 PlayStation. And then later on this year, it
- 47:59will be made for the switch, which I'm so excited.
- 48:02Yeah, and that game is like a free version of Zelda.
- 48:08Um, no, it's weakened because the music is so beautiful.
- 48:12I love the music in the game. I haven't played laid it on
- 48:14stream because I feel like it will take over of my variety
- 48:18streaming because it's a very long game and it could be a
- 48:21hack-and-slash game because because it's like a lot of
- 48:23button mashing and stuff but there's you know there's
- 48:26leveling up there's that in-app purchases is just have that
- 48:29mobile game and you know impacting it.
- 48:34But yeah the thing is That game was originally a mobile game and
- 48:42it's making so many numbers and like streaming and downloads.
- 48:47And it's just don't underestimate the power of
- 48:51mobile gaming, don't underestimate it because mobile
- 48:53gaming could take over any time because there's so many games
- 48:59that you can't take on the go. And with mobile gaming, you
- 49:02could play on the go such as Pub, T-Mobile Call of Duty
- 49:06mobile Jensen. An impact, Minecraft.
- 49:09All these games that are on Console are available on the go
- 49:13and it's not compared to a Nintendo switch because you're
- 49:16not going to carry a Nintendo switch, wherever you go.
- 49:18But the phone, you'll carry that wherever you go.
- 49:21So whoever downgrades Mobile gaming is definitely, you know,
- 49:26everyone has their own opinions, but they're wrong.
- 49:32Fair enough, I appreciate your honesty.
- 49:35Do you find time to actually Games outside of streaming, or
- 49:39is it always kind of like, if I'm going to play this, I should
- 49:42play this stream. No, no.
- 49:45Every game I have to stream it. I don't feel comfortable playing
- 49:49games off stream anymore. The only games that will play it
- 49:52off. Stream is mobile gaming because
- 49:53I do have to record challenges and stuff and then record
- 49:57content for YouTube or Instagram.
- 50:00But definitely, I don't feel the need to play video games off
- 50:06stream anymore. If I do off stream, I wouldn't
- 50:09that case. Hit the record button, and
- 50:11record it for YouTube content, but instead, what I do is I just
- 50:15re-edit all the previous streams that expired on Twitch and then
- 50:21tweak them a little bit and upload them.
- 50:24It's bit, cheeky cheeky, but at least it shows what my twitch
- 50:30streams are about. It's not like, I feel like if I
- 50:33record something, they're not going to see my personality.
- 50:36They're just going to see. Just playing a video game when
- 50:38they actually could actually have a glimpse and a sneak peek
- 50:42of what I'm bringing out there as a content creator.
- 50:45What I mean by the cheek in is because I fully agree with what
- 50:48you do. I do the same thing.
- 50:49OK. Right.
- 50:51This is what I mean. So when your affiliate
- 50:55supposedly, there's this are you affiliate or partner?
- 50:58You're copying a working for partnership?
- 51:01I'm putting it there, that I'll be partnered by Samara time I
- 51:05was just curious. It will happen if you've already
- 51:09got to affiliate, then, you know, you're on the roads
- 51:12partner, it'll happen. But what I'm curious about is
- 51:15that, you know, when your affiliate and partner apparently
- 51:20there's some sort of exclusivity deal where you're not actually
- 51:24allowed to supposedly, upload the full streams in their
- 51:28entirety in the end, entirety to another platform.
- 51:31So I was a little bit curious when you said that that, oh, you
- 51:34know, I'll obviously you edit. So won't be like the full All
- 51:37stream but it will be a significant stream.
- 51:40You know, when I was doing my research on you, I did find
- 51:43entire streams on YouTube which I was quite surprised by that.
- 51:46It was to us a little bit about that, so that the exclusively
- 51:51it's after 24 hours. Hmm.
- 51:55So you're not supposed to re-upload and you can't
- 51:58multi-stream the same content in 24 hours and you're not even
- 52:03allowed to Most Extreme as an affiliate.
- 52:05If you are roads willfully at you, Could multi-stream but as
- 52:08soon as he had affiliate, no multi-streaming either, have to
- 52:10stream a few hours on Twitch few hours on Facebook.
- 52:13A few hours on YouTube or just choose one platform and focus on
- 52:16it. And with the streams, what I do
- 52:20is I don't wait the 24 hours. I actually wait until the full
- 52:2330 days because I'm a Prime member.
- 52:26So, Prime member instead of 13 days.
- 52:28My videos expire in 30 days. After 30 days, I will re-upload
- 52:32this content and of course, tweak it up a little bit.
- 52:35So it's different from the actual stream.
- 52:37It has like, captions or I cut out a lot of things, like when I
- 52:41say, um, a lot or I cut out the intermission screen, or I cut
- 52:45out certain spoilers, so it seems different.
- 52:51But yeah, that's basically, you're definitely allowed to
- 52:54upload content. But, yeah, I knew that, but I
- 52:56thought it was like, you were just restricted to Clips.
- 52:59So, I've actually learned something new that I didn't
- 53:01realize. There's a lot of sexual
- 53:04partners, dreamers that re-upload there.
- 53:06And Entire stream without editing on their YouTube
- 53:10channel. So Markiplier, for example, he
- 53:13he real blows his entire stream. It does, he do it like straight
- 53:17away? Or does he wait as you say the
- 53:182000, know you weights, of course, weight guy, right?
- 53:21You can't / the key because you have that 24-hour window that
- 53:26you have to wait and it doesn't make sense to actually re-upload
- 53:30something that you already done because it's going to become a
- 53:33bot on Twitch no matter what. Hmm.
- 53:36And yeah. There's not that much
- 53:38discoverability on Twitch compared to YouTube, but I feel
- 53:41like if you do re-upload it on a different time.
- 53:44Like right now, I've been be uploading my twitch sings videos
- 53:48because they removed which things because of dmca's.
- 53:51So re-uploading the twitch sings videos onto YouTube.
- 53:55Yeah. I might not get paid for those
- 53:57videos but those memories will live on.
- 53:59Yeah. And people remember twitch
- 54:01things for what positivity abroad because I started playing
- 54:06twitch stings. When I joined twitch and then
- 54:10you know, during the social distancing thing, it was a way
- 54:13of actually communicating with people because it had the party
- 54:16feature where you actually could have other people seeing and
- 54:20communicate with them and it definitely helped.
- 54:24He's a little, he's a little less.
- 54:29How's that word? It was, you know, a relief.
- 54:33Hmm, definitely a relief from all the stress and just not.
- 54:37Baa bleating not being able to actually socialize.
- 54:41It was a way of socialization just socializing I get you okay.
- 54:45Yes I was that's that's a fair way to put it.
- 54:48I mean I think for me I often just upload as soon as I can
- 54:52with regards to the the full streams and the clips mainly
- 54:56because my audience is so small. I think if it was the same
- 54:59audience like on both platforms sort of thing, then I would do
- 55:04I'd wait at you like, you do as well.
- 55:06I'm probably just have the clip. It's instead but I think it I
- 55:10think it really depends on where you are.
- 55:12You know what I mean? Is it seems to like your stage
- 55:17in the journey. Shall we say?
- 55:20Moving it Forward. What are your goals and
- 55:22aspirations for twitch? YouTube Instagram.
- 55:26What's the overall Mo? So my goals for Instagram is to
- 55:31hit the sent thousand followers. I hit it once, but I got Shadow
- 55:37band. So a lot of people unfollowed me
- 55:39because my post wasn't having getting receiving any reach.
- 55:42So I'd Instagram right now. My 7,000 followers on my
- 55:45personal. See, this is interesting.
- 55:48You gotta shut up. I'm the only person I've ever
- 55:50heard this happened to was, I think leafy back when he was on
- 55:55YouTube at the first time and there was something, there was
- 55:59some sort of controversy over that.
- 56:00Now, for those listening who don't know what it is, is
- 56:02basically where you can still find the person.
- 56:07But their new videos, new content is not promoted.
- 56:10Is that right? Correct?
- 56:12And the reason why I wish out-of-band I was over posting
- 56:15and I was hmm. And you either get shot up and
- 56:19for Posting and following a whole bunch of people.
- 56:23At once, because it looks spammy.
- 56:25Yeah. And I definitely posted a lot.
- 56:29I posted like eight things in one day, and like, and that not
- 56:34even like an hour or two hours, but like, in like, every like
- 56:37five to ten minutes and it was bad.
- 56:40So, I got Shadow band for for a quite long while.
- 56:44So, during that shadow band, I actually made a new Instagram
- 56:47account, which focuses on gaming, which is a legend gaming
- 56:51Zone and Was in Shadow bank. As soon as I posted, I was on
- 56:55the explore page, explore page, explore page, due to the fact of
- 56:58it being brand new, but then compared to my bigger establish
- 57:03account being Shadow band, it was definitely hard for growth.
- 57:08And so, yeah, my goal is to get at least 10,000 followers on
- 57:12both of those accounts for YouTube.
- 57:17Maybe, I don't know with YouTube, I have YouTube for over
- 57:2013 years. I'm not a thousand subscribers
- 57:25and my YouTube. I've been told to make a
- 57:27different YouTube channel for what I'm doing but I didn't want
- 57:31to start over. I'm like, I'm just going to make
- 57:33different playlists for what it is and I'm just going to from
- 57:36music. This channel is going to be just
- 57:38focusing on gaming, that's it. And hopefully the gaming on the
- 57:44YouTube will go up a little And I'll get like a YouTube trophy,
- 57:49because I see those YouTube trophies.
- 57:50They're really cool looking. So that's definitely,
- 57:54definitely, one of my goals. And then, of course, my twitch
- 57:56goal is to be partnership and get all the emotes in the world,
- 58:00because I love emotes. They're so adorable.
- 58:05What are your thoughts on other platforms, like deal?
- 58:08I've an upcoming platforms as well, like, Periscope I believe
- 58:11is going to be the Twitter one. Do you think that they have
- 58:14anything to offer or there? Are worth trying out.
- 58:18Periscope is actually gone in March 20 21.
- 58:21Oh, wow. Credible for that one.
- 58:23I thought I saw the advertising for it and it seemed like it
- 58:26was, it was upcoming. But actually Periscope is gone.
- 58:29The new replacing, it is Hap's Hipps and yeah apps has been
- 58:37actually growing really big due to the Periscope shutting down.
- 58:42So do you live actually tried alive?
- 58:46I didn't like it. I also had.
- 58:48I also give a try to travel. Which is another gaming and it
- 58:53was focused towards Mobile gaming but then they actually
- 58:56allow console Gamers to play on it.
- 59:01The thing is with these things, their upcoming, their new, they
- 59:04will have they will have their moments and then little by
- 59:09little they will die down. But if you think that was when
- 59:15you've got something as big as twitch and YouTube, do you think
- 59:18it's worth having them or even using them?
- 59:20Yes or no. Yes, to the fact that these
- 59:25companies could offer a really great deal and a great contract.
- 59:30The only con of this is that those contracts are exclusive
- 59:36and they limit yourself and it definitely could you know, it
- 59:42limits your content and it limits your availability to
- 59:46other experiences and opportunities.
- 59:50At ease because I've been there, I've been in a single exclusive
- 59:56contract and it definitely was more stressful than actually
- 1:00:02just being my own person trying to reach for the exclusively.
- 1:00:07Like, if I do get exclusive on Twitch, it's not extremely
- 1:00:11limited because you could upload on YouTube and then you could
- 1:00:14work with many different companies because twitch allows
- 1:00:16that because it's more marketing and more Promotional and of
- 1:00:19course more Been abused for the company itself.
- 1:00:25What are some major kind of do's and don'ts of professional
- 1:00:29streaming? Dues good lighting always have
- 1:00:34good lighting. Don't Don't criticize.
- 1:00:41If someone doesn't want to use a camera or someone doesn't look
- 1:00:46good on camera. Mmm, don't judge them just you
- 1:00:48know go with the flow enjoy what they're bringing out as content
- 1:00:52if you can't hit the live button you have no.
- 1:00:54Right to be judging someone else of what they're doing.
- 1:00:58They're following their dreams, they have a passion and who
- 1:01:00knows they'll be that big streamer one day?
- 1:01:03So yeah, don't be nice. Don't don't be a, Don't Be a
- 1:01:07Jerk. Yeah, I always look at people.
- 1:01:10Mr. Beast, when it all went because where there's a lot of
- 1:01:13days when I look at my numbers and I'm like, damn, I've been
- 1:01:15doing this like two years and it's it's not going anywhere and
- 1:01:18it's like when I see and I hear the stories of those guys like
- 1:01:21yeah I started out on my phone and I had nothing and I'm like
- 1:01:25maybe there is hope. Yeah and you can't compare
- 1:01:29yourself and you can't sell yourself short.
- 1:01:31You just you know go with the flow, expect the unexpected and
- 1:01:35just you know go for it. Take a risk, you never know
- 1:01:39who's going to be watching. Watching or you never know that.
- 1:01:41You'll have that big big breakthrough.
- 1:01:44Another do is be consistent if you're taking this seriously
- 1:01:49because distant, this is not an overnight success, just keep
- 1:01:55working hard at it. If you do have other platforms,
- 1:01:59use those other platforms to help you grow as a content
- 1:02:04creator. Don't like I said, don't sell
- 1:02:06yourself short. Don't call yourself a stream or
- 1:02:08you're a content creator. Your Making content in all these
- 1:02:12sites and it's super helpful. The fact that, you know, you
- 1:02:18have this ability and way, just to put yourself out there, while
- 1:02:24others back, then didn't have YouTube or anything.
- 1:02:28They literally have to mail out a letter and send out emails and
- 1:02:32stuff. You actually have Opportunity by
- 1:02:36using a camera and saying hi to the world and go viral.
- 1:02:40So yeah, just you know be consistent and don't give up on
- 1:02:43that. Don't don't overwork yourself
- 1:02:51like you know, definitely think realistically I don't think
- 1:02:57crazy numbers because it's not going to happen.
- 1:03:01Just, you know keep doing what you're doing that, you feel
- 1:03:04what's best for you and at the same time what's healthy for you
- 1:03:08because you definitely don't want to Sick.
- 1:03:11Because a lot of these streamers content creators have gone
- 1:03:15through that mental breakdown and has ended up on the edge.
- 1:03:19And it's very, very sad and you definitely don't want to go
- 1:03:23through that. You want to, you want to do this
- 1:03:26as either therapy or you want to do this to help others or help
- 1:03:31yourself. So it's definitely it's not
- 1:03:35really complicated but you know you just gotta do what you gotta
- 1:03:39do and Do what you want to do, and do what you love.
- 1:03:43Not anymore. Yeah, it's definitely a lot of
- 1:03:47people like to beat themselves up and I beat myself up every
- 1:03:51day saying. Oh I'm not gonna do this is so
- 1:03:54hard but I enjoy what I'm doing and I'm just going to let the
- 1:03:58grow continue to flourish because, you know, you have to
- 1:04:02water our flower for it to grow and if I'm not watering the
- 1:04:06flower, I'll just be dying. So let's just keep watering that
- 1:04:11flower but not over water. It Now, if you over water, it
- 1:04:14will die it too. So yeah, I think that's, I think
- 1:04:19that's a good analogy. I don't know if it works.
- 1:04:21It works. Okay, works.
- 1:04:23Okay. Fair enough.
- 1:04:25So yeah, don't don't play music on your streams.
- 1:04:29There's websites for that. Use Harris Heller's.
- 1:04:31Dream. Beads or use?
- 1:04:33Pretzel rocks. I love.
- 1:04:34Pretzel rocks. Oh my gosh, pretzel rocks is
- 1:04:36great. And pretzel, rocks is a dmca
- 1:04:39free music player that you can use for YouTube Facebook.
- 1:04:43And twitch, and it's just amazing.
- 1:04:45I never got a dmca strike. The only time I got muted for
- 1:04:49was for Kingdom Hearts gameplay, but that's about it, but I never
- 1:04:53got a dmca strike knock on wood, but yeah, enjoy the copyright
- 1:04:59free music support your independent artist.
- 1:05:03Yeah. But of course, you know, of
- 1:05:04course, make sure you have their permission.
- 1:05:06So you don't go through that headaches because, you know, you
- 1:05:09work hard for your channel, you don't want to lose it overnight.
- 1:05:13So yeah, don't don't play music on your streets.
- 1:05:15You know, I heard the the dmca system on Twitch is like, really
- 1:05:20strict. So it's not like YouTube where
- 1:05:21you get, you know, three strikes and you're out.
- 1:05:24It's like, isn't it just a one and done so situation?
- 1:05:27You just lose it straight away. They give you warnings.
- 1:05:31It seems, they are learning. Yeah, but if they constantly see
- 1:05:35you doing it then yeah, you do, you're out but they were YouTube
- 1:05:39is YouTube doesn't give you strikes.
- 1:05:42What they do is you can't monetize.
- 1:05:45I don't you can't monetize your videos.
- 1:05:47They'll just say oh you're not in trouble or anything but you
- 1:05:50just won't get paid for this part of the video.
- 1:05:52The actual owner will. Hmm and it does, it definitely
- 1:05:56limits your Discovery and it definitely doesn't help you
- 1:06:01bring money to the table. But at least it does give you
- 1:06:04exposure. The fact that they don't mute
- 1:06:06your entire video, they actually allow you to play it on in
- 1:06:09certain areas in the world. But with twitch on other hand it
- 1:06:13mutes the entire section of that part and then it continues on to
- 1:06:19when it doesn't pick up the music.
- 1:06:21So yeah, what do you think streaming is likely to be headed
- 1:06:25in the future and the Senate next 5-10 years Stevens taken
- 1:06:29over that Netflix Hulu. Everything movie theaters are
- 1:06:35closing down. So streaming this taken over
- 1:06:37streaming is going to be the new TV.
- 1:06:40If you think about it, since twitch is available on many at
- 1:06:46the vices like Amazon Fire stick, Apple TV video game
- 1:06:50consoles. Roku Roku stick.
- 1:06:53I think it's called and what is that?
- 1:06:56What is that? It's like a ripoff of like Go
- 1:07:04thing and Amazon Fire stick, that's basically what it is.
- 1:07:07It's just like Amazon Fire stick.
- 1:07:09I remember those Jesus. I have it.
- 1:07:12I love it. It's really good.
- 1:07:14I do. Yeah, I love it.
- 1:07:15It's how I watch my movies upstairs.
- 1:07:17Okay. Fair enough.
- 1:07:19Yeah, but the thing is definitely steam is going to
- 1:07:21take over the world. That that's basically.
- 1:07:23It's the new TV Facebook, has that new Facebook, watch where
- 1:07:28you get to watch. People, do different cooking
- 1:07:30shows and stuff. Then twitch has all the
- 1:07:33Categories from gaming to to touch gesture chatting, and then
- 1:07:38movies are going straight to Netflix and Hulu Disney plus HBO
- 1:07:42Max. All those things.
- 1:07:43So yeah, stream is going to take over.
- 1:07:45That's that's that's that's just that's what I see.
- 1:07:50It's been taken over slowly but surely, but it's going to
- 1:07:53happen. I can certainly see it with, you
- 1:07:56know, we're with providers, like Netflix and Disney plus, like a
- 1:07:59look at Disney plus. And I remember when I first came
- 1:08:01out, I was like, what? Disney movies, is that it and
- 1:08:04then I realized hang on all of Star Wars full of Marvel and I
- 1:08:10might have to get this you know this National Geographic.
- 1:08:14Oh my God as well National Geographic shit.
- 1:08:19Maybe I have to buy this. No that's actually that's a game
- 1:08:23changer. Get the bundle.
- 1:08:26It's the Disney plus and ESPN. If you don't like ESPN, at
- 1:08:30least, Hulu, Hulu has really good shows.
- 1:08:34It's like 1299. I don't know how much that is
- 1:08:36and UK. But attempted for the edited
- 1:08:39version for who lured, you can get edited versions of Raw WWE
- 1:08:43Raw. And I'd be tempted for that
- 1:08:45because I cannot watch that full show, man.
- 1:08:48Jesus. Let's just because at least with
- 1:08:50that, the Hulu want to essentially cuts out all the
- 1:08:52crap and makes it into like an hour and a half, which is a
- 1:08:55reasonable time for a wrestling TV show.
- 1:08:58Just say three hours is ridiculous.
- 1:09:02It's okay for a You but not for a TV show this because that
- 1:09:07third hour, it's like anyway that's why I whatever wrestling
- 1:09:15comes up. I just I just have to it's all
- 1:09:17good I'm not a wrestling fan so no worry.
- 1:09:20That's right. Ace interesting Wentworth as it
- 1:09:21pertains to streaming because for the most part like you know
- 1:09:26wrestling is a very it's becoming more more increasingly
- 1:09:29available on on streaming platforms like fight and A few
- 1:09:34others, I believe, but, like, all of the major TV providers
- 1:09:36are beginning to start their own, you know, networks and
- 1:09:39streaming platforms and it does really seem as you say to be
- 1:09:42taking over. And I think there's a lot of
- 1:09:45appeal with it, especially from the sort of, on demand
- 1:09:47perspective, you know? I mean obviously TV has changed
- 1:09:50a lot in the sense that you can record, download, whatever.
- 1:09:54So you essentially have that functionality but having stream
- 1:09:57platform just gives you like full control.
- 1:09:59Got this as an adverb Anyway, let's move it on.
- 1:10:04Let's move it on. What advice would you give to
- 1:10:06people who are trying to get into streaming right now?
- 1:10:12I gave a whole bunch of advice in previous interviews but I
- 1:10:17would always stick to these top three and it's don't do it for
- 1:10:23the money. Expect the unexpected and have
- 1:10:26fun and of course be yourself. Okay, for them.
- 1:10:30My bad. I'm bad at counting.
- 1:10:32So yeah. The don't do it for the money,
- 1:10:34be yourself. Expect the unexpected and have
- 1:10:37fun. That's definitely the top for
- 1:10:39vice. You have to follow by because if
- 1:10:43like for example if you feel like this is easy and it's
- 1:10:49overnight it's not you have to spend a lot of money and time
- 1:10:52being a streamer concentrator is very expensive.
- 1:10:55You need the equipment. If you don't have the equipment,
- 1:10:58you're not going to be successful.
- 1:11:00But common sense. You need a camera to be shown
- 1:11:05and if you don't have a camera, you need the device or the video
- 1:11:09game console, or the game, or any of those things to bring
- 1:11:15yourself out there. So, yeah, don't know.
- 1:11:19Hopefully, hopefully, that's a little, it's straight to the
- 1:11:23point. And I mean it with my heart,
- 1:11:26like have fun, don't don't don't.
- 1:11:30Beat yourself up and enjoy what you're doing because if you
- 1:11:34don't enjoy what you're doing and why you're doing it, so
- 1:11:36yeah. What's the biggest life lesson
- 1:11:41that you've learned so far? It just in general or with
- 1:11:47within immediately in life just in life in general?
- 1:11:51Nothing is easy. You know, the truth, nothing's
- 1:11:56easy, really. There's always, there's always a
- 1:12:00struggle. Everyone has their own obstacles
- 1:12:07that they have to go over and Diaz obstacles.
- 1:12:10Could either avoid Consequences or bring more treason and more
- 1:12:20pain, especially if you're tripping over these obstacles
- 1:12:23over and over again because we're always, Everyone is always
- 1:12:28looking towards failure, that no one ever looks towards us us
- 1:12:32because it's easier to fail, been to secede.
- 1:12:37And I totally disagree with that mentality because it's super
- 1:12:41unhealthy. You just have to just work Hard
- 1:12:45and practice makes perfect to be successful.
- 1:12:49Like I gotta say like that. That's a strange mentality to
- 1:12:51have with something like this. I mean you know I held it I see
- 1:12:56it all the time. I'm going to take I'm going to
- 1:12:59take a break from streaming. I suck at streaming.
- 1:13:02I'm a bad streamer. I'm this I'm that I don't get
- 1:13:05viewers. I don't do this, I don't do
- 1:13:07this. This I don't, I don't, I don't,
- 1:13:10I can't, I can't I can't mentality and this is why I'm
- 1:13:13saying I'm sad. Said that that people always aim
- 1:13:16towards failure. Instead of actually succeeding,
- 1:13:18they don't they don't think out of the box.
- 1:13:22They literally just put themselves on a pedestal because
- 1:13:26they're doing it for the wrong reasons and it's going to be
- 1:13:31good, it's gonna make you feel. So you have to, you know, you
- 1:13:35just have to think realistic and do what you have to do to change
- 1:13:41that I can. So I can, I want to, I want I
- 1:13:44will. So yeah, just I don't know what
- 1:13:52else to say. It's another topic for another
- 1:13:55day that I could talk about for hours.
- 1:13:59Yeah. I guess that I've heard you
- 1:14:01know, obviously people say that you know, plenty of times and
- 1:14:03you know I'm guilty of having said it before like these days
- 1:14:06I'm over it. Like you know, if anything, I
- 1:14:08just laugh, when I don't get anyone come to my streams and
- 1:14:11that whatever, I'm still have fun.
- 1:14:14But I do think that You have to be positive with this stuff.
- 1:14:19Yeah. Because it affects everything
- 1:14:21you do as well like it affects the content.
- 1:14:26You know, I like, for example, one of the things I always think
- 1:14:29about, I want to do the podcast is like, you know, I want every
- 1:14:33episode to be as good as the last, you know?
- 1:14:35Like, so if someone would suddenly come across an episode,
- 1:14:39I don't want it to be like, oh, this was half-assed.
- 1:14:41I didn't put my effort, you know, any effort in or, you
- 1:14:44know, I was kind of like the The back or whatever.
- 1:14:47Like I just think that's a nonsensical way of thinking that
- 1:14:50you got to put in 100% every time.
- 1:14:53And, you know, the good thing about what we do as well.
- 1:14:56Is that? Like, even if it doesn't perform
- 1:14:59well? Now, it can perform well over
- 1:15:02time. Now, I'm starting to see certain
- 1:15:04videos that I did like a year ago starting to pick up traction
- 1:15:09now. And it, you know, I think a
- 1:15:11certain amount of that comes down to just like, being on a
- 1:15:14platform for a certain amount of time.
- 1:15:16I know it's different. For twitch, but with YouTube,
- 1:15:17you know, after some time you do get kind of get picked up and,
- 1:15:21you know, you fall into the algorithm and stuff, but people
- 1:15:24give up way too easily. And I think that's the problem.
- 1:15:27You know, it's like I've made this joke before about how
- 1:15:31people can, you know, that's not a podcast.
- 1:15:33That whenever someone says to me, I'm gonna start a podcast
- 1:15:34and I'll be like, okay, well get back to me when you're done like
- 1:15:37say 30 episodes and then you know I mean because it's like
- 1:15:40slows of people start and then they just end it after like
- 1:15:43three months or something because they weren't getting any
- 1:15:46viewers. It's like the mentality you have
- 1:15:48to have with this is that like he's a really good example of
- 1:15:53what I mean because I don't want to go to ding today into detail
- 1:15:56with this but like okay now it's just I don't want to go and I
- 1:15:59want to go like DVA to model too far but sometimes we get people
- 1:16:03come up to me and say like, oh, how many subscribers you have?
- 1:16:05Right. And I'll be like, OK, it's like
- 1:16:07500 and something and then I RK and it's that kind of like oh
- 1:16:12it's not important then. So a lot of people will just
- 1:16:16fixate on your numbers and will judge you based on that rather
- 1:16:19than the content you're putting out.
- 1:16:21Right agreed. And like I think the important
- 1:16:25thing to always remember is it can change overnight.
- 1:16:28It will change and you have to be consistent throughout that
- 1:16:33time regardless of how it's going.
- 1:16:36Good or bad. You always have to be the same
- 1:16:38and get better. It's good.
- 1:16:40You said that because you heard of a twitch streamer that lost
- 1:16:44over millions of followers overnight, and I think was a
- 1:16:48fifteen-year-old Minecraft player and he tweeted it, and
- 1:16:53it, retweeted and from zero. He went up to like, seventeen
- 1:16:58thousand followers in two days. I think now, he's back to his
- 1:17:01numbers again. But, yeah, I his, he literally
- 1:17:04went from a couple of million followers, 20 followers and
- 1:17:10That's my bad. I don't know.
- 1:17:12I don't know. There's ways of there's a way of
- 1:17:15person to delete all their followers, especially the fact
- 1:17:19that if you get botted, there's a way of cleaning it out.
- 1:17:23So the assumptions were that, maybe his account was
- 1:17:27compromised and someone use that function to wipe out his entire
- 1:17:32following community. So yeah, this there's so many
- 1:17:37out there, but the thing is key. A platform to help him promote
- 1:17:42himself again and to build up that following.
- 1:17:45And I bet now that those numbers are more authentic and those are
- 1:17:49actual real numbers. Those are not fake numbers.
- 1:17:52I feel like that actually helped him that that that that downfall
- 1:17:59Rose him up again and he's probably doing better.
- 1:18:01I don't watch Minecraft or whatever but I just it's just a
- 1:18:05good example of what you're saying how people are always
- 1:18:07fixated on numbers. Hmm.
- 1:18:10Who do you take? Inspiration from nobody II.
- 1:18:17Can't watch Gamers. I, if I watch this dreamer and I
- 1:18:19like her content is because I like your content but I can't
- 1:18:23stand the Stream Long Island. This is why I always ask myself.
- 1:18:26Why people watch me II? Literally cannot sit down there
- 1:18:29and watch a stream for as long as I can, unless if I'm like
- 1:18:33moderating for their stream and I'm doing other stuff in the
- 1:18:36background because I'm usually a lurker, if you know what that
- 1:18:40That term has you watch but you're not actually there.
- 1:18:44But yeah, the only person I could say inspires me is my mom,
- 1:18:48but she doesn't play video games.
- 1:18:49So it's kind of cliche. That's the sweetest sound so
- 1:18:53ever. But she inspires me because she
- 1:18:56gave me life and she did it in the beginning, she didn't
- 1:19:01understand the gaming thing, but then when I started game
- 1:19:03streaming after due to a depression period of time, she
- 1:19:07noticed how like it helped me to grow and it helped me to deal
- 1:19:12with that pain. As you also notice how it
- 1:19:15impacts the viewers, how I help the viewers to feel better about
- 1:19:19themselves and she sees so much positivity in it especially in
- 1:19:25fact that the I don't play extremely violent games, I do.
- 1:19:29Sometimes. But she does like, Resident Evil
- 1:19:33which is your mom's cool. Awesome is cool.
- 1:19:37As she turns in and every stream when she can.
- 1:19:40But there's games out there that focuses on Mental Health, such
- 1:19:45as hell, blades. And was sacrifice Celeste, which
- 1:19:48I Rage Quit because I couldn't, I couldn't beat it, and then I
- 1:19:52just because I just finished this indie game because I work
- 1:19:55with independent developers on, showcasing their game, Eames
- 1:19:59called into a dream and into a gym was focusing on mental
- 1:20:03health and depression. And it's really nice that these
- 1:20:08games could touch on topics of these because it's it's always
- 1:20:12topics that are a lot of people don't feel comfortable talking
- 1:20:15about, but when you bring it up it does bring a vital
- 1:20:19discussion. No that's that's excellent.
- 1:20:22I didn't realize that I would never kind of gone games like
- 1:20:24that that were addressing. That is fantastic.
- 1:20:29As we draw things sort of to a close for today.
- 1:20:32Do you have any upcoming projects or maybe some final
- 1:20:35thoughts that you'd like to share with us?
- 1:20:38Yes, I do. Have my own website
- 1:20:41www.logicvoltage.com. I've been writing blogs, on
- 1:20:46every single game that I've completed.
- 1:20:48I so far completed 75 games on Twitch and I only been on Twitch
- 1:20:52for 10 months and I write thank you.
- 1:20:55And I wrote this blog series called playing games under the
- 1:20:58radar. Taking risk as a streamer
- 1:21:00playing on popular games and I've been writing blogs of
- 1:21:04games, such as Sonic General, the last three blogs, I broke
- 1:21:07our base on Sonic Generations, brothers and Giana sisters.
- 1:21:12And the next blog, I'll be writing on will be Blair Witch
- 1:21:17and hell-blade. So I'm very excited to continue
- 1:21:20this Vlog series because it definitely gives me motivation
- 1:21:24to bring content out there and to show my creativity as a
- 1:21:28writer. And to touch base on these games
- 1:21:31that are overlooked. So on forth, I am also, yes.
- 1:21:36I also work with this website called Narco and it's basically
- 1:21:42a site where all these streamers could show off their content and
- 1:21:47collab with other streamers and show their streams and post how
- 1:21:52their feel. And it's site where it's all
- 1:21:55about gaming. No politics, nothing, none of
- 1:21:57that. It's all adjustable Focus.
- 1:21:59Gaming. So this any rkc oh, check that
- 1:22:03out. I do like the promotional for
