Speaker 1: Welcome in is Verdict with center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
0:03
Speaker 1: with you. It's nice to have you with us after
0:05
Speaker 1: a awesome celebration of the United States of America, with a
0:08
Speaker 1: two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this country. I love it.
0:11
Speaker 1: It was amazing. Senator, I know you were with family
0:14
Speaker 1: and friends. How is your fourth.
0:16
Speaker 2: Well, let me say, I'm really proud to be now
0:18
Speaker 2: in our nation's two hundred and fifty first year. We
0:22
Speaker 2: are the start of our second order millennium. And you
0:28
Speaker 2: look back, this first two hundred and fifty years has
0:31
Speaker 2: been extraordinary. America has been, I believe, the greatest country
0:35
Speaker 2: in the history of the world. We have a lot
0:37
Speaker 2: to celebrate. On our Friday podcast, we did a deep
0:41
Speaker 2: dive into what makes America exceptional, what makes it extraordinary,
0:45
Speaker 2: and part of what we celebrate in the fourth of
0:48
Speaker 2: July is just the families that are the foundational building
0:53
Speaker 2: blocks of our nation. And so you know, Bet, I
0:56
Speaker 2: know you were with your family, with your kids. I
0:58
Speaker 2: was too. We had a great time. We had some
1:03
Speaker 2: we had some burgers and hot dogs, We watched watched fireworks,
1:08
Speaker 2: and then we actually went and watched on TV the
1:12
Speaker 2: big fireworks show down in DC. The President's speech, I
1:17
Speaker 2: got to say it was the fireworks we watched were
1:21
Speaker 2: impressive in person, but even more impressive was there was
1:24
Speaker 2: a massive thunderstorm and it was really quite striking looking
1:29
Speaker 2: at We were looking at the kind of little fireworks
1:31
Speaker 2: and then above it massive thunderbolts cracking through the sky.
1:36
Speaker 2: And I joked to Heidi and the kids, although it
1:41
Speaker 2: was right, it's like, well, God's celebrating the two point
1:44
Speaker 2: fifty and his fireworks show is putting anything done by
1:48
Speaker 2: the hand of band of shame.
1:51
Speaker 1: If people didn't see your video that you posted of
1:54
Speaker 1: those fireworks I mean, and I mean the ultimate fireworks
1:57
Speaker 1: of that lightning, you should go check it out on
2:00
Speaker 1: social because you actually put a video up there and
2:02
Speaker 1: it was you're almost understanding how cool it was.
2:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I just pulled out my phone and just
2:08
Speaker 2: filmed it because you could see the little Viti fireworks
2:12
Speaker 2: going off and then just the entire sky shaking as
2:17
Speaker 2: thunder and lightning was cracking across it. It was pretty spectacular.
2:21
Speaker 2: That being said, the DC fireworks display was something else.
2:25
Speaker 2: I mean, I guess they were saying it was the
2:27
Speaker 2: largest fireworks display in human history. I got to say,
2:32
Speaker 2: I believe it. That thing went on for forty minutes
2:34
Speaker 2: and they just kept playing another song and another song.
2:38
Speaker 2: You know, the ordinance that was exploded. That was breathtaking.
2:42
Speaker 2: You know, it was fun seeing all those families they'd
2:45
Speaker 2: been rained out initially and they stayed there anyway. And
2:47
Speaker 2: seeing those veterans World War two veterans there, and especially
2:51
Speaker 2: seeing little kids. It was really fun to see the families.
2:54
Speaker 2: They decided, let's let's go to DC, let's go to
2:56
Speaker 2: the mall, let's go cheer on our country, let's walk fireworks,
3:01
Speaker 2: and little kids after midnight, you know, five and six
3:04
Speaker 2: year olds just filled with joy and wonder and really
3:10
Speaker 2: just celebrating America. That is a beautiful thing. I hope
3:13
Speaker 2: everyone listening, I hope you took the time. Number one
3:18
Speaker 2: to love on your family, to love on your kids,
3:20
Speaker 2: love on your spouse and your parents and those who
3:25
Speaker 2: you care for. But number two to reflect. You know, what,
3:30
Speaker 2: why is it we lasted two hundred and fifty years.
3:34
Speaker 2: What is it that we've done that is different from
3:37
Speaker 2: other nations? This is a really good time to reflect,
3:41
Speaker 2: especially because we are here in a time of crisis. Look,
3:46
Speaker 2: you and I and the folks listening to this podcast.
3:49
Speaker 2: We love our country, but this is not a time
3:53
Speaker 2: of just kind of everything's hunky dory, nothing to worry about, Ypoka.
4:00
Speaker 2: There are massive threats facing America right now. We are
4:04
Speaker 2: facing an almost civil war of extreme radical activist views,
4:15
Speaker 2: much of that finance by foreign money that is trying
4:19
Speaker 2: to tear down everything that made America exceptional for the
4:22
Speaker 2: first two hundred and fifty years. You know, we saw
4:25
Speaker 2: contrasting speeches between President Trump and I think his reflection
4:30
Speaker 2: on American greatness was beautifully done, but we saw before that,
4:35
Speaker 2: Comrade Mondami give a very different, dark speech about his
4:40
Speaker 2: view of a communist and Islamist takeover of this country
4:43
Speaker 2: and which vision prevails.
4:49
Speaker 1: Were you shocked by that speech because I watched the
4:52
Speaker 1: Mandani speech and for me, it was weird on two
4:56
Speaker 1: different points. One it was just tone death and I'm like,
4:59
Speaker 1: who really he wants to hear this on the fourth
5:02
Speaker 1: of July. That was the part they were just kind
5:03
Speaker 1: of shocking. I believe everything that he's sitting there he
5:06
Speaker 1: actually believes. I actually think he can't stand this country
5:08
Speaker 1: and things it's terrible and wants to completely dismantle it
5:11
Speaker 1: and turn it into you know, a Comrade Mendannia communist country.
5:14
Speaker 1: I believe that part truly, But I was trying to
5:19
Speaker 1: figure out, like who is his audience. Is it those
5:22
Speaker 1: that suffer from Trump derangement syndrome or was this more
5:26
Speaker 1: of a rallying cry for other communists to come out
5:29
Speaker 1: of the woodworks and get involved in the Democratic Party
5:32
Speaker 1: because now this is the Democratic Party.
5:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, this was a call the young angry communists, young
5:40
Speaker 2: angry leftists. We are taking over the Democrat Party. We
5:44
Speaker 2: are taking over New York. We are taking over Colorado,
5:47
Speaker 2: we are taking over California. We are taking over the world.
5:50
Speaker 2: That was his message. Here, give a listen to Mondamie
5:53
Speaker 2: and what he had to say on the fourth of July.
5:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, before we play that, I do when I also
5:58
Speaker 1: just take a moment and talk about how awesome the
6:00
Speaker 1: two hundred and fifteth anniversary is that we get to
6:02
Speaker 1: celebrate in America. It's a milestone that also is a
6:06
Speaker 1: time to reflect on the enduring relationship between the United
6:10
Speaker 1: States of America and Israel.
6:11
Speaker 3: They're our greatest ally. President John F.
6:13
Speaker 1: Kennedy once said Israel was not created in order to disappear.
6:18
Speaker 3: Israel will endure and flourish.
6:20
Speaker 1: Now those words, they really capture the spirit of a
6:24
Speaker 1: young democracy determined to truly survive. Two different nations thousands
6:29
Speaker 1: of miles apart we are, yet we're united by the
6:32
Speaker 1: shared values of democracy, faith, freedom, and honestly resilience. As America,
6:39
Speaker 1: and we fight against communism. Right now we celebrate our
6:42
Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty years of independence. The International Fellowship
6:45
Speaker 1: of Christians and Jews, well, they turned to God in prayer,
6:49
Speaker 1: asking that his wisdom will guide elected officials and lead
6:52
Speaker 1: America and Israel to moral clarity and national unity. And
6:57
Speaker 1: that is where the really cool call to act comes
7:00
Speaker 1: in for you. I when I go on TV, I
7:03
Speaker 1: wear a US Israel flagpin, and so many have asked
7:07
Speaker 1: me about where can I get one? And I want
7:09
Speaker 1: to give you one for free right now. All you
7:12
Speaker 1: have to do to get your free US Israeli flagpin
7:16
Speaker 1: is you can go online right now to flag pin
7:19
Speaker 1: IFCJ dot org. That's flag pin, IFCJ dot org, flagpin
7:26
Speaker 1: IFCJ dot org. All right, I want to play for
7:29
Speaker 1: you at sentater Cruz mentioned a moment ago that this
7:32
Speaker 1: very dark, dark fourth of July speech from Undannie, whereas
7:37
Speaker 1: by the way, his desk was backwards. If you didn't
7:39
Speaker 1: see that, it's hilarious. But here's Mundani in his own words.
7:43
Speaker 4: Yes, we see America in a health insurance industry that
7:45
Speaker 4: exploits the sick. But that is not all we see
7:48
Speaker 4: when we look for America. We see it too in
7:51
Speaker 4: the nurse who works a double shift and then stops
7:53
Speaker 4: on our way home to check on an alien neighbor. Yes,
7:56
Speaker 4: we see America in corporate landlords for whom negligence is
7:59
Speaker 4: a businessman, we see it too, And the father who
8:02
Speaker 4: tucks his children into bed beneath the ceiling stained with leaves,
8:06
Speaker 4: who weeks before dawn to go to work and still
8:08
Speaker 4: believes his country can do better by his family. Yes,
8:12
Speaker 4: we see America when we spend our tax dollars on
8:15
Speaker 4: bombs and bailouts, when we sell our elections to the
8:18
Speaker 4: highest bidder.
8:20
Speaker 1: I mean that. You hear that and it's like, wow,
8:23
Speaker 1: you really genuinely hate this country and it's scary what
8:26
Speaker 1: you want to do with it.
8:27
Speaker 2: Well, and he's contrasting everything about America is bad, but
8:33
Speaker 2: then he says, you know, we care for the nurse.
8:35
Speaker 2: We care for the individual person. And this is the
8:37
Speaker 2: classic lie of the communists, that the communist comes and says,
8:42
Speaker 2: where for the little guy? Where for the poor? We're
8:45
Speaker 2: for the down truck. And yet what you have every
8:49
Speaker 2: time you have communism, you get poverty and misery and
8:53
Speaker 2: suffering and death. You get more poor people, you get equality,
8:59
Speaker 2: but you get a quality of misery. And in fact,
9:02
Speaker 2: the only people that are not equal are the rulers. Ironically,
9:07
Speaker 2: you know, Mandami put out a decree. It told told
9:11
Speaker 2: New Yorkers turn your air conditioning up to seventy eight
9:15
Speaker 2: degrees because it's going to be hot this fourth of July.
9:18
Speaker 2: And a watchdog group came and checked on Mandami's offices
9:22
Speaker 2: and of course they were not up in seventy eight degrees.
9:24
Speaker 2: That they were turned down to seventy two. Because what's
9:27
Speaker 2: the communist decrees for you? He never lived by.
9:31
Speaker 1: His own rules, you know, by the way, I was
9:33
Speaker 1: laughing you were on vacation. I didn't send you the clip,
9:36
Speaker 1: but it exploded. I was on at CNN on Abbey
9:39
Speaker 1: Phillips Show on Thursday night when they were celebrating Mandani
9:44
Speaker 1: saying to turn your AC up to seventy eight, and
9:49
Speaker 1: I just asked, are you are you in favor of this?
9:52
Speaker 1: And they tried to, you know, like yeah, well yeah.
9:55
Speaker 1: I was like, well, it's not seventy eight right now
9:57
Speaker 1: in this studio, so let's crank up. I looked on
10:01
Speaker 1: everybody on set, all the liberals like, all right, let's
10:03
Speaker 1: crank it up in solid aarrey with Mandani like let's
10:06
Speaker 1: go to seventy eight and sweat, let's go. If you
10:08
Speaker 1: guys are going to be all in favor this, why
10:10
Speaker 1: is it sixty seven in here right now instead of
10:12
Speaker 1: seventy eight?
10:13
Speaker 3: And it goes to the point you're making.
10:15
Speaker 1: They'll go on national TV and say that he's a
10:17
Speaker 1: hero for saying this.
10:19
Speaker 3: But they wouldn't even in New York City. We were
10:21
Speaker 3: in New York City.
10:22
Speaker 1: They would not put the studio at seventy eight degrees
10:24
Speaker 1: because they would never do that and have a sweaty show.
10:27
Speaker 2: Look, Fidel Castro was a billionaire, Bluten is a billionaire.
10:32
Speaker 2: Communist leaders aggregate all the money for themselves. They lived
10:37
Speaker 2: like kings, and they use the military with guns as enforcers.
10:41
Speaker 2: I want you to listen to another segment from Common
10:44
Speaker 2: mon Bondami's.
10:45
Speaker 4: Speech American exceptionalism. American exceptionalism, the conventional wisdom tells us
10:51
Speaker 4: makes our freedom a little more free. Is how we
10:53
Speaker 4: dug the Erie Canal and irrigated the west. Is why
10:56
Speaker 4: children in far away lands grow up dreaming of one
10:58
Speaker 4: day moving here. But the irony is that the story
11:01
Speaker 4: of America has so often been written by those who
11:04
Speaker 4: were told by others with power and influence and wealth
11:07
Speaker 4: that they were anything but exceptional. For generation after generation,
11:11
Speaker 4: we have been told that when the world has sent
11:13
Speaker 4: its people to our shores, it has not sent its best.
11:17
Speaker 4: It sent Puritans and Sikhs and Quakers and Muslims and
11:20
Speaker 4: Jewish people who were banished for praying the wrong way,
11:23
Speaker 4: worshiping the wrong gods, angering the wrong people. It sent
11:27
Speaker 4: peasants and serfs from slums and schetdeles who were treated
11:30
Speaker 4: as less because they hardly owned clothes, let alone land.
11:34
Speaker 4: It sent immigrants from whom power was something someone else had.
11:38
Speaker 4: We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger,
11:43
Speaker 4: more powerful than everyone else. The truth, my friends, is
11:47
Speaker 4: that America is exceptional because here nothing is fixed into place.
11:52
Speaker 4: The frontier may be closed We may have walked on
11:54
Speaker 4: the moon, but the work of fulfilling the values first
11:58
Speaker 4: enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. That work endures, and
12:02
Speaker 4: it belongs to us all. It belongs to to our
12:05
Speaker 4: newest Americans, those standing here with me today, all of
12:08
Speaker 4: whom were recently naturalized. Nearly a decade ago, I too
12:12
Speaker 4: felt what you feel, the joy of no longer being
12:15
Speaker 4: just a New Yorker, but an American too. You each
12:18
Speaker 4: hold a special power, the power to determine what America means.
12:24
Speaker 4: The powerful have always known their answer. America, in their view,
12:27
Speaker 4: is an arena of supremacy, where only a select few
12:30
Speaker 4: or allowed freedom, where not all are created equal. America,
12:34
Speaker 4: if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes. America,
12:38
Speaker 4: they will tell you, belongs only to those with the
12:41
Speaker 4: right accent or the right shade of skin. The rest
12:43
Speaker 4: of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being
12:46
Speaker 4: allowed to visit. How small they are, how weak, how unoriginal.
12:52
Speaker 4: At every moment in our past, those who led through
12:55
Speaker 4: exclusion and isolation have tried to win power and enrich
12:59
Speaker 4: themselves by turning us against one another. Division is the
13:02
Speaker 4: oldest trick in politics, and the cheapest the time, and again,
13:07
Speaker 4: including two hundred and fifty years ago, those forces of
13:11
Speaker 4: division have been vanquished by the forces of progress.
13:15
Speaker 3: You listen again.
13:17
Speaker 1: This is a manifesto of why America is bad, why
13:22
Speaker 1: America should not, apparently, I guess, be celebrated on the
13:25
Speaker 1: fourth of July, why you should tamper down your excitement
13:29
Speaker 1: for the fireworks. And I do believe this is not
13:33
Speaker 1: a one off. As we mentioned earlier, this is the
13:36
Speaker 1: new manifesto of the Democratic Party heading into the midterms.
13:42
Speaker 2: As I listened to him talk, I think, what a
13:44
Speaker 2: small and teddy man, filled with hate, filled with ideology,
13:49
Speaker 2: filled with contempts not just for you and me and
13:54
Speaker 2: this fellow Americans, but for the very idea of America.
13:58
Speaker 2: You know his remark there are profoundly dishonest. One thing
14:03
Speaker 2: he says is we are told that America is exceptional
14:06
Speaker 2: because we are richer, or stronger, or more powerful. Boloney,
14:11
Speaker 2: who has ever said that. I've never heard any human
14:13
Speaker 2: being articulate that sentence. That's what's known as a straw man.
14:18
Speaker 2: It's erecting a fake argument to then demolish it. He is,
14:22
Speaker 2: in fact, inverting the causality we are not richer and
14:28
Speaker 2: stronger and more powerful. That is not why we are exceptional. Rather,
14:33
Speaker 2: because we are exceptional, that is why we have become
14:36
Speaker 2: richer and stronger and more powerful. He's completely misunderstanding the
14:40
Speaker 2: cause and effect. What is exceptional about America. Number one
14:44
Speaker 2: is that our rights come from God. And you know,
14:47
Speaker 2: nowhere in that speech could Mundami bring himself to say
14:50
Speaker 2: that that God has given the rights. He says, we
14:52
Speaker 2: are told people are not created equals. Well, really, gosh, comrade,
14:58
Speaker 2: what is this holiday we are so clebrating on the
15:00
Speaker 2: fourth of July? What was the document that John Hancoff
15:04
Speaker 2: put his signature on. What did Thomas Jefferson write? We
15:08
Speaker 2: hold these crews to be self evidence that all men
15:13
Speaker 2: are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator
15:16
Speaker 2: with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty,
15:19
Speaker 2: and the pursuit of happiness. He claims that America was
15:24
Speaker 2: built on the notion that we're not equals, and he
15:27
Speaker 2: is spitting in the face of the Declaration of the Constitution.
15:31
Speaker 2: Of course, he probably doesn't know that he is counting
15:34
Speaker 2: on the people listening to it, definitely not to know that.
15:38
Speaker 2: And his notion about the people that came here because
15:43
Speaker 2: we are built by immigrants, we must let everyone in
15:46
Speaker 2: with no limits. Listen, my father was an immigrant who
15:49
Speaker 2: came from Cuba. America was a beacon of freedom for
15:52
Speaker 2: my family. But there's a right way to come. You
15:55
Speaker 2: come legally. And the arguments that the leftists and the
15:59
Speaker 2: marks to say it is because we were built by immigrants,
16:03
Speaker 2: we have to open up our borders to every criminal,
16:06
Speaker 2: to every rapist, to every terrorist, that we could have
16:08
Speaker 2: no laws whatsoever. And why And I'm going to answer
16:13
Speaker 2: this question, but I want to ask it first. Why
16:15
Speaker 2: in the speech does Comrade Mandami not reflect on what
16:21
Speaker 2: is it that makes people from every country on earth
16:24
Speaker 2: want to be in America? What do we have here
16:27
Speaker 2: that is different? You don't have other countries people coming
16:31
Speaker 2: to And it is because of the opportunity, the opportunity
16:36
Speaker 2: to a have your rights protected, life, liberty, and the
16:40
Speaker 2: pursuit of happiness. And notably, we don't have a right
16:44
Speaker 2: to happiness. We have a right to the pursuit to
16:48
Speaker 2: the journey that none of us are guaranteed happiness. But
16:52
Speaker 2: the American dream is real and alive and it comes
16:56
Speaker 2: from do you know what gives us the American green capitalist,
17:00
Speaker 2: not communism. If you want communism, Comrade Mondami, go to Russia,
17:06
Speaker 2: Comrade Mandami, go to Cuba, Comrade Mandami go to North Korea.
17:11
Speaker 2: Why do all the communist countries have such misery and suffering?
17:15
Speaker 2: And you know what, they all also have zero human
17:19
Speaker 2: rights because those petty little despots and Mandami is so
17:23
Speaker 2: eager to use that power when they get power. If
17:27
Speaker 2: you disagree, if you dare speak to the contrary, and
17:30
Speaker 2: they will lock you up. That is the history, that
17:36
Speaker 2: is the legacy of communism. You know, Ben, It's been
17:40
Speaker 2: a while since since I told the story that my
17:44
Speaker 2: grandmother told me of what happened in Cuba when Fidel
17:48
Speaker 2: Castro and the communist took over. So, my grandmother was
17:52
Speaker 2: a sixth grade teacher in Cuba, and then she taught
17:55
Speaker 2: sixth grade for many many years, and she told me
17:58
Speaker 2: the story that when the communists took over, soldiers came
18:03
Speaker 2: into the classrooms, and she described to me in particular
18:06
Speaker 2: what they did in a first grade classroom. They came
18:09
Speaker 2: in with machine guns and they told all of the
18:12
Speaker 2: kids in the classroom, they said close your eyes, close
18:15
Speaker 2: your eyes, and pray to Jesus for candy, and all
18:19
Speaker 2: the kids closed their eyes. They prayed, and there was
18:23
Speaker 2: no candy. They then told the kids close your eyes
18:28
Speaker 2: and pray to Fidel Castro for candy. They closed their eyes,
18:33
Speaker 2: and the soldiers quietly set a piece of candy on
18:37
Speaker 2: the desk of every child. That is communism. It is
18:41
Speaker 2: based on lies, it is based on power, It is
18:44
Speaker 2: based on subjugation. And Mandami noticed the only reason he
18:50
Speaker 2: says anyone should come to America, He tells the story
18:53
Speaker 2: of those racient immigrants, and he said, you come here
18:56
Speaker 2: to change it. This is what left this your trying
18:59
Speaker 2: to do. Why did Joe Biden and Kamala Harrison the
19:02
Speaker 2: Democrats lot over twelve million legals in this country because
19:07
Speaker 2: they want them to fundamentally usher in a takeover of
19:12
Speaker 2: this country by the Democrat Party. And by the way,
19:15
Speaker 2: the Chuck Schumers of the world think that means they
19:17
Speaker 2: get to be in power. Mondami's laughing, No, no, no, chuck, Chuck,
19:22
Speaker 2: you are a useful idiot because the people we brought
19:27
Speaker 2: into this country, we are going to use this not
19:30
Speaker 2: just to keep the Democrats in power, but the communists
19:33
Speaker 2: are right now seizing control of the Democrat Party. We're
19:38
Speaker 2: seeing it New York where Mondami backed America, hating bigots
19:45
Speaker 2: and communists. And by the way, they didn't just win
19:47
Speaker 2: in New York, they also want in Colorado. They're winning
19:51
Speaker 2: all over the country. That is the base of the
19:53
Speaker 2: Democrat Party. And I don't think I don't think the
19:57
Speaker 2: Democrats in office that fully realized that the mob is
20:02
Speaker 2: coming for them. That Roba Spear will find that the
20:06
Speaker 2: guillotine falls on his head as well. And this takeover,
20:12
Speaker 2: let me say to the Republicans who are celebrating, Yay,
20:15
Speaker 2: the crazies are taking over the Democrat Party. That means
20:18
Speaker 2: it's easier for us to win. Do not celebrate. Do
20:22
Speaker 2: not celebrate, because these lunatics can get into power. Art
20:26
Speaker 2: I'm gonna give an example. One of the people who
20:29
Speaker 2: just won the primary and took out a long time
20:32
Speaker 2: Democrat incumbent is a candidate named melot Heros is a
20:40
Speaker 2: communist and an iwslist And I want you to listen
20:43
Speaker 2: to what she says about what they are trying to do,
20:48
Speaker 2: what the communists are trying to do. Give a listen.
20:51
Speaker 5: We are winning from coast to coast.
20:55
Speaker 2: From every level of office.
20:57
Speaker 3: We are taking that our party in hour. But by
21:05
Speaker 3: the way, this is not a Saturday Night Live skit.
21:07
Speaker 1: That actually is what it sounded like in Denver as
21:10
Speaker 1: she unseed the thirty year incumbent as a full blown socialist.
21:15
Speaker 2: And understand socialists democrat socialist is just their fake term
21:19
Speaker 2: for communists. The economic system of communism is socialism, and
21:24
Speaker 2: they're using they use the word democrats simply to say
21:27
Speaker 2: they're taking over the Democrat Party and turning it into
21:29
Speaker 2: a communist party. To give you a sense of how
21:33
Speaker 2: America hating these radicals are, give a listen to what
21:38
Speaker 2: Mila Kiro says about September eleventh and the nearly three
21:42
Speaker 2: thousand Americans who were murdered in that horrific act of
21:46
Speaker 2: terrorism on US soil. Give a listen.
21:48
Speaker 5: Do you believe that the nine to eleven terrorist attacks
21:51
Speaker 5: on America were the inevitable consequence of American foreign policy?
21:55
Speaker 5: Inevitable in the sense that we destabilize a lot of
22:00
Speaker 5: the Middle East that forced people to believe that another
22:04
Speaker 5: act of violence was the only response. And again, just
22:08
Speaker 5: like I said before, responsibilities to getting rid of those
22:11
Speaker 5: conditions that lead to violence in the first place.
22:13
Speaker 1: You and by the way, that was her PC answer.
22:17
Speaker 1: The reason why she was asked that question by that
22:19
Speaker 1: reporter ahead of election day is they were trying to
22:22
Speaker 1: narrow down on what she had said in the past
22:24
Speaker 1: that yeah, we deserved it's our fault. And that was
22:27
Speaker 1: her in her most PC response, trying not to you know,
22:31
Speaker 1: just look like she's a total crazy person, and what
22:33
Speaker 1: she was saying.
22:34
Speaker 2: Well, that's right, she had said America deserved nine to eleven.
22:39
Speaker 2: She's also been clear what she wants to do. She
22:41
Speaker 2: wants to abolish ice, which means we don't enforce our
22:44
Speaker 2: borders at all, we don't arrest criminally the aliens, we
22:47
Speaker 2: don't arrest murderers, rapist, child blesters, gang bangers, and she
22:51
Speaker 2: wants to give full and immediate citizenship to every single
22:54
Speaker 2: illegal immigrant in America. That would be I don't know,
22:57
Speaker 2: twenty million, thirty million. We don't have any lud of
23:00
Speaker 2: anywhere near a reliable measure. Why does she want to
23:03
Speaker 2: do that? Because she wants to elect a hundred other
23:06
Speaker 2: communists just like her. Give a listen to her laying
23:09
Speaker 2: out that that political objective.
23:12
Speaker 6: Abolishing geist is just one step right. Democrats have been
23:15
Speaker 6: in power multiple times over the last few decades and
23:18
Speaker 6: did nothing to address the immigration.
23:20
Speaker 2: Report that we actually increase exactly.
23:23
Speaker 6: Yeah, and so if we're I think there has to
23:25
Speaker 6: be an immediate pathway for every single documented immigrant that's
23:28
Speaker 6: here in this country today that does not require them
23:31
Speaker 6: to shell out thousands of dollars to go through their
23:33
Speaker 6: process for it to take decades at a time to
23:36
Speaker 6: be able to get to citizenship. An immediate pathway to
23:39
Speaker 6: citizenship and.
23:40
Speaker 1: Then just read I mean, I mean not only she's
23:43
Speaker 1: saying immediate pathway a citizenship. We're talking about amnesty, and
23:46
Speaker 1: we're saying you abolish all ice and that is what
23:49
Speaker 1: she's going to do, and she believes Democratic Party must
23:53
Speaker 1: do so. You get rid of law enforcement. This is
23:55
Speaker 1: another example of the defund the police movement.
23:59
Speaker 2: It is you cannot enforce the law. There are no borders.
24:04
Speaker 2: Any criminal, any gangbanger, any terrorist is welcome in this country,
24:08
Speaker 2: and she wants to make them an American citizen. Here's
24:12
Speaker 2: what she said. Her priorities in Congress are. She's been
24:15
Speaker 2: very explicit. Give a listen, we will not wait. We
24:26
Speaker 2: will not wait to take the fight to Donald Trump
24:30
Speaker 2: and all of garky.
24:32
Speaker 3: We will not wait.
24:35
Speaker 5: We will not wait to abolish ice and.
24:38
Speaker 2: Passmate a caproal.
24:42
Speaker 3: I mean, she's going to change things, that's for sure.
24:46
Speaker 2: And the simple reality is there is not a Democrat
24:50
Speaker 2: in Congress who is not terrified of the next candidate
24:56
Speaker 2: like her in their primary. I'm here to tell you
24:59
Speaker 2: right now, Chuck Schumer cannot win a Democrat primary in
25:03
Speaker 2: the state of New York. And in fact, I'm going
25:05
Speaker 2: to predict Chuck Schumer won't run for reelection. That he's
25:08
Speaker 2: looking at this party and he realizes this party has
25:13
Speaker 2: left him. And by the way, he was complicit in
25:15
Speaker 2: all the policies that that that that led to this
25:19
Speaker 2: takeover of the Democrat Party by the communists. And part
25:24
Speaker 2: of what we're seeing here is this is a shift
25:28
Speaker 2: of where the heartbeat of the Democrat Party is and
25:32
Speaker 2: it's moved from the universe, from the union hall to
25:36
Speaker 2: the university faculty lounge. Instead of the Democrat Party being
25:40
Speaker 2: a blue collar, steel worker type party, a working man party,
25:45
Speaker 2: it is no longer, and in fact, they hate blue
25:49
Speaker 2: collar workers. Understand these communists, they are all many. Many
25:54
Speaker 2: of them have have vast resources, they have trust funds,
25:57
Speaker 2: they have inherited wealth. Any of them they had college degrees.
26:02
Speaker 2: They sat around gazing at their navel and reading Fouca
26:05
Speaker 2: and reading Mark and believing that these abstract theories work.
26:10
Speaker 2: And by the way, they rationalize the way to the
26:13
Speaker 2: extent they know anything about the misery of suffering that
26:18
Speaker 2: communism has wrought across the world, they rationalize it away
26:21
Speaker 2: as oh, well, well they did it wrong there here
26:24
Speaker 2: will do it differently, and it always ends up the same.
26:30
Speaker 2: This is looks as we start the two hundred and
26:35
Speaker 2: fifty first year. I'm reminded of what Ben Franklin said
26:42
Speaker 2: as he came out of Constitutional and two things. One one,
26:48
Speaker 2: a woman asked him, what have you given us, and
26:50
Speaker 2: he said, a republicman, if you can keep it. Secondly,
26:55
Speaker 2: he described how the chair that Washington was sitting in
27:00
Speaker 2: the back of it had a sun carved into it.
27:04
Speaker 2: And Franklin described how he wondered each day if it
27:08
Speaker 2: was a rising sun or a setting sign. And at
27:12
Speaker 2: the end of the Constitutional Convention he said, I can
27:15
Speaker 2: now tell you it is a rising sun and not
27:18
Speaker 2: a setting sun. If these forces of darkness, if these
27:24
Speaker 2: America hating leftists that believe you have no rights. You
27:27
Speaker 2: have no free speech, you have no right to liberty,
27:30
Speaker 2: You have no right to defy the state. They want
27:33
Speaker 2: power over what you think, over what you say, over
27:38
Speaker 2: your religious faith, They want power over your money. They
27:41
Speaker 2: want to control you, They want to look that they
27:46
Speaker 2: want to destroy anyone who is successful. If they succeed
27:51
Speaker 2: in seizing power, that rising sun more than two hundred
27:57
Speaker 2: years ago will have be a setting sun instead. And
28:02
Speaker 2: so the stakes we have been I'm energized. I'm energized,
28:07
Speaker 2: you and I and everyone listening to this podcast. We
28:10
Speaker 2: get to fight at a time of consequence, at a
28:13
Speaker 2: time when it matters. Do we save the next two
28:18
Speaker 2: hundred and fifty years. That's our task.
28:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more.
28:23
Speaker 1: And I will say, I'm glad that we've been so
28:26
Speaker 1: blunt and calling it out. I'm glad the President was
28:28
Speaker 1: so blunt and his speech on the fourth of July
28:30
Speaker 1: calling it out that communism is a threat to this
28:32
Speaker 1: country and it's something that we should really be focused
28:35
Speaker 1: on that they do not take over, that we do
28:37
Speaker 1: not allow them to take over. But this is no
28:40
Speaker 1: longer a joke, This is no longer a side show.
28:43
Speaker 1: This is the Democratic party. Speaking of fun, by the way,
28:49
Speaker 1: I got to say, we got some really exciting news
28:53
Speaker 1: one of our best players that got a red card
28:56
Speaker 1: in the last match. And if you're not a soccer fan,
29:01
Speaker 1: there's a lot of people that are fair weather on
29:03
Speaker 1: this one, and I'm totally fine. I'm one of those.
29:06
Speaker 1: But I cannot wait to watch Monday night America in
29:10
Speaker 1: their next in the knockout rounds. And it's gonna be
29:12
Speaker 1: fun because one of our best players who got that
29:14
Speaker 1: red card, which makes you ineligible for the next game,
29:18
Speaker 1: it was overturned by FIFA, so he will be able
29:21
Speaker 1: to play. You can call this the fourth of July miracle.
29:24
Speaker 1: But I'm pumped because of it.
29:26
Speaker 2: Look i am too. It was great fun. I will
29:30
Speaker 2: admit I'm a fair weather soccer fan myself. I did
29:33
Speaker 2: play soccer in high school. I played basketball, football, soccer,
29:36
Speaker 2: and I enjoyed playing it, but I've not been a
29:38
Speaker 2: soccer fan who follows the sport closely as an adult.
29:42
Speaker 2: The World Cup has been fun. It's been fun at
29:45
Speaker 2: a time when there's so much America hating everywhere else.
29:48
Speaker 2: It's been fun seeing people come together and rooting for America.
29:53
Speaker 2: You know, it's been fun also watching people from other
29:56
Speaker 2: countries come to America and discover how wonderful this country is.
29:59
Speaker 2: You know, Freddy from Germany, I don't know if you've
30:01
Speaker 2: seen what he's been tweeting. I've probably retweeted him twenty
30:04
Speaker 2: times as he's come and seen you know, a Bucky's
30:07
Speaker 2: and he's like, you know, waffle House, and he's like this,
30:10
Speaker 2: this country is incredible. Nobody told me how amazing this
30:13
Speaker 2: country is. That celebration is great. I will say our
30:17
Speaker 2: World Cup victory against Bozzi Herzegovina was was fantastic, particularly
30:23
Speaker 2: when when we got the red card, and the red
30:25
Speaker 2: card knocked out one of our best players. Then we
30:28
Speaker 2: had to play a man down with just ten men
30:31
Speaker 2: on the field. Miraculously we not only held on but
30:34
Speaker 2: scored another goal and advanced to the round of sixteen.
30:37
Speaker 2: But the ordinary consequence of getting a red card as
30:41
Speaker 2: the player is out not just for that game but
30:43
Speaker 2: for the next game as well. And the player but Logan,
30:49
Speaker 2: who scored a bunch of goals in this World CuPy,
30:52
Speaker 2: he's been one of us, if not our single best player.
30:56
Speaker 2: Losing him against Belgium was Belgium was going and so
31:01
Speaker 2: I got to admit that the story that broke today,
31:04
Speaker 2: So FIFA reversed their decision. And here's what Clay Travis
31:09
Speaker 2: put out, which I hope is true, and I have
31:11
Speaker 2: no reason to assume it's not, Clay Travis says sources.
31:16
Speaker 2: President Trump, Commerce Secretary Howard Ludnik and White House Task
31:20
Speaker 2: Force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite
31:24
Speaker 2: lawyers from outside the government to challenge the flow below
31:28
Speaker 2: gum red cards. Specifically, they challenged the use of slow
31:33
Speaker 2: motion instant replay to give the red card, which they
31:38
Speaker 2: argued violated FIFA rules. The President also conveyed it Johnny
31:43
Speaker 2: and Fantino, FIFA's president, that the appeal had been filed
31:47
Speaker 2: and he believed the red card penalty was accessed. FIFA's
31:51
Speaker 2: independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was
31:55
Speaker 2: incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule twenty seven authority.
32:00
Speaker 2: I am thrilled with that, because I got to say,
32:01
Speaker 2: watching that red card, I was at a sports bar
32:05
Speaker 2: with a family watching it, and we were enjoying some
32:08
Speaker 2: wings and and chearing and uh and and I might
32:12
Speaker 2: have yelled some expletives that I wasn't terribly proud of
32:17
Speaker 2: yelling in front of my kids when that red card
32:19
Speaker 2: came down, because look, I mean, if that's a red card,
32:24
Speaker 2: it was a foul, sure, but if that's a red card,
32:27
Speaker 2: they'd throw half the players out of soccer in every
32:30
Speaker 2: game because he, you know, he, yes, he hit.
32:36
Speaker 3: Player. It was a play on the ball, like, yes, yes.
32:40
Speaker 2: Yes, it was. It was. It was not done maliciously.
32:44
Speaker 2: They were playing hard. And by the way, the you know,
32:47
Speaker 2: the player went down, grabbed his ankle, was screaming and wailing,
32:51
Speaker 2: and then as soon as the red card issue he
32:53
Speaker 2: jumped up and was fine. So so magically the uh,
32:57
Speaker 2: the the agonizing pain went went away. This was the
33:01
Speaker 2: right decision. But I gotta say the fact that Trump
33:05
Speaker 2: engaged directly. You know what I thought immediately? What was
33:09
Speaker 2: that I'm still not tired of winning. Yeah, like you've
33:13
Speaker 2: ever Trump said, you're gonna We're gonna win so much,
33:15
Speaker 2: you're gonna get tired of winning. I'm not tired of winning.
33:18
Speaker 2: And God bless the president. I looked at that, and
33:22
Speaker 2: my response is USA, USA, USA, and beat Belgium tonight.
33:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be a fun game and we'll have
33:30
Speaker 1: a recap, I can promise you on Wednesday. Hope you
33:33
Speaker 1: had a great weekend and a great time with your
33:35
Speaker 1: family for the Josh celebrating America. And be safe if
33:38
Speaker 1: you're heading back home. A lot of people do that
33:40
Speaker 1: on Monday and the center. I will see you back
33:42
Speaker 1: here on Wednesday morning as well, and go team USA.
