- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Show on sevent ten. Hey, so what's the day Tuesday?
- 0:11Speaker 2: All right, Now, everybody's kind of leaving. I'm actually taking
- 0:14Speaker 2: the rest of the week off. But everybody's kind of fleeing,
- 0:16Speaker 2: leaving radio TV. You know, you watch Fox whatever, you while,
- 0:20Speaker 2: you notice all the hosts are gone. They're on the
- 0:24Speaker 2: C list guests, same thing, MSNBC. Everybody's leaving late night
- 0:31Speaker 2: TV reruns. Everybody takes off the rest of the week.
- 0:35Speaker 2: The President will leave later today and head to mar
- 0:38Speaker 2: A Lago. I think you can turn that off now,
- 0:42Speaker 2: we don't need a whole soundtrack. The President will go
- 0:45Speaker 2: to mar A Lago later today. They actually have the
- 0:49Speaker 2: tree was delivered to the White House. There's a tree ceremony,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and I think he does that pardoning the Turkey. In fact,
- 0:57Speaker 2: last year's a Turkey part and yea, they should check
- 1:00Speaker 2: see if that's auto pen on that. So that's today
- 1:05Speaker 2: and then late in the day, actually about I think
- 1:07Speaker 2: five six o'clock, the President will leave head tomorrow. Lago
- 1:11Speaker 2: arrived there around nine pm tonight and he'll be there
- 1:14Speaker 2: until Sunday night. So he's taking the rest of the
- 1:16Speaker 2: week off. Hey, we'll we'll get to call me and
- 1:20Speaker 2: Letitia James what this means as far as their case.
- 1:23Speaker 2: We'll get to the Mamdanni meeting. We're getting more and
- 1:26Speaker 2: more detail on exactly what happened there. We'll get to
- 1:30Speaker 2: everybody Loves Raymond. We'll get to Times Square in New
- 1:32Speaker 2: Year's Eve, we'll get to the Mamdani transition team and more. Now,
- 1:39Speaker 2: today's Tuesday. Tomorrow's the big travel day. Most people will
- 1:44Speaker 2: travel tomorrow. It's going to be the busiest Thanksgiving travel
- 1:49Speaker 2: season ever. It's expected that eighty two million people will
- 1:55Speaker 2: be traveling. That's by train, car playing. Eighty two million
- 1:59Speaker 2: people traveling this Thanksgiving. Now the good news, air traffic
- 2:03Speaker 2: controllers are all back to work. Everything's back full schedule.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Everything's back up to speed with air traffic control. But
- 2:12Speaker 2: tomorrow's the biggest travel day of airlines. They call it
- 2:15Speaker 2: their super Bowl. Here's the airline spokesman. It's going to
- 2:18Speaker 2: be a busy week for us, the airlines, the travel
- 2:22Speaker 2: sector in general, airports, TSA, FAA, Especially for us, this
- 2:26Speaker 2: week is our super Bowl. All right. I think our
- 2:29Speaker 2: super Bowl is a little more exciting than yours. But okay, now, hey,
- 2:32Speaker 2: Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary. I don't know what got
- 2:39Speaker 2: them on this kick, but you know they've been having
- 2:40Speaker 2: a lot of trouble on airplanes with the rowdy passengers,
- 2:44Speaker 2: fights breaking out, people half naked, people with bare feet,
- 2:48Speaker 2: putting them up on the seat, and I get bare
- 2:50Speaker 2: feet right next to somebody else's head. And it's been
- 2:53Speaker 2: absolutely disgusting years and years ago. You know, you go
- 2:56Speaker 2: back and watch mad Men when Don Draper has to
- 2:59Speaker 2: fly somewhere. You know, everybody on the plane has a
- 3:01Speaker 2: suit and tie. The stewardesses are all beautiful, well dressed,
- 3:05Speaker 2: and they're serving lobster and champagne. And the cart comes
- 3:10Speaker 2: down the island. They're carving this this juicy steak. This
- 3:14Speaker 2: was airline travel back then, back in the fifties and
- 3:17Speaker 2: sixties was Pan America, and it was the most elegant
- 3:20Speaker 2: way to travel. Everybody was dressed beautifully. It was first
- 3:24Speaker 2: class all the way. Now what happened, Well, truth is,
- 3:29Speaker 2: airline travel was expensive back then. You know, you paid
- 3:33Speaker 2: today's in today's dollars, you were pay thousands of dollars
- 3:36Speaker 2: for the airplane ticket. So and then things got cheap,
- 3:40Speaker 2: you know, remember it was the first one was People's
- 3:42Speaker 2: Express wherever. I think that was the first one in
- 3:45Speaker 2: the seventies where you could fly for like sixty eight bucks.
- 3:48Speaker 2: All of a sudden, it's very cheap. And then there
- 3:49Speaker 2: were more cheap airlines, and then the real airlines had
- 3:53Speaker 2: to start competing, so they had to bring down the
- 3:55Speaker 2: ticket prices. So now it's cost nothing to fly. You
- 4:00Speaker 2: gotta fly to Florida and back, it's two hundred dollars
- 4:02Speaker 2: a round trip, whereas back in the Don Draper days
- 4:05Speaker 2: it was four thousand, five thousand. So back then you
- 4:08Speaker 2: had all the wealthy, you know, well dressed to people
- 4:11Speaker 2: on planes, and the people with the cheap tickets were
- 4:13Speaker 2: all on greyhound buses. But now the airlines got cheaper
- 4:16Speaker 2: than the greyhound buses. So everybody's a slob on the airlines.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But Duffy, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wants to go back
- 4:24Speaker 2: to that golden age of air travel where people dress
- 4:27Speaker 2: up in a suit and tie. And he thinks if
- 4:30Speaker 2: you're dressed up, that would change your behavior. He's probably right,
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know, if you're dressed up, you behave a little differently.
- 4:35Speaker 2: You know, you gotta go to a wedding or a funeral,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and people that never get dressed up or suddenly in
- 4:39Speaker 2: a suit and tie, and it stiffens him up. They
- 4:41Speaker 2: behave a little better.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But here's Duffy maybe dressing with some respect, you know,
- 4:46Speaker 3: whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I would encourage people maybe dress a little better, which
- 4:52Speaker 3: encourage us, encourages us to maybe behave all a little better.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Now, he's absolutely right. Of course he's insane, he's crazy.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Nobody's going to this. Nobody. Nobody's going to do this.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You're not gonna get anybody to do Hey, you go
- 5:05Speaker 2: to a funeral. Now, people are in sweatsuits. If people
- 5:08Speaker 2: just don't dress up anymore.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Tomorrow will be the busiest day. There'll be fifty two
- 5:12Speaker 3: thousand flights tomorrow as Americans board aircraft fly across the country.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Maybe they gonna go to sporting events, they're going on vacation,
- 5:20Speaker 3: or hopefully they're going to spend time with their families.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now you go to the hottest restaurant in Manhattan, the
- 5:26Speaker 2: most expensive, hottest, everybody's dressed like a slob. Now, there
- 5:30Speaker 2: are certain restaurants that required a jacket and tie. You know,
- 5:33Speaker 2: the Twenty one Club, the Four Seasons, Let's cirque, you
- 5:36Speaker 2: had to wear a jacket and tie. You'll notice they're
- 5:40Speaker 2: all clothed and out of business. It doesn't work in
- 5:43Speaker 2: today's world. You're not I mean, I like to get
- 5:45Speaker 2: dressed up, but you're not going to convince everybody to
- 5:47Speaker 2: put on a suit and tie to get on the plane. Now.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I hate to say it, but nowadays people somewhere they
- 5:55Speaker 2: got one suit and one tie, and it's only for
- 5:58Speaker 2: a funeral if they got to go to court. For
- 6:01Speaker 2: a lot of people, especially these badly behave people, the
- 6:03Speaker 2: only time they're going to wear a suit is when
- 6:05Speaker 2: they're the defendant on trial. And speaking of trials, the
- 6:09Speaker 2: Comy case and the Letitia James case both thrown out
- 6:13Speaker 2: by a left wing judge. They will bring back the cases.
- 6:19Speaker 2: They will be appealed. You know Comy was out there
- 6:22Speaker 2: doing his victory dance. He should probably stop that because
- 6:27Speaker 2: it is going to get appealed. Definitely.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Sure, we'll be taking all available legal action, including an
- 6:34Speaker 4: immediate appeal, to hold Letitia James and James Comy accountable
- 6:38Speaker 4: for their unlawful conduct.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now they will be on trial. Here's the thing. Remember
- 6:42Speaker 2: when it first happened, call me me put out that video.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You know, Comy is this weirdo, pompous, sanctimonious guy, and
- 6:48Speaker 2: he put out this video. I am innocent. Let's go
- 6:52Speaker 2: to trial. I want to try this to show you
- 6:54Speaker 2: how innoson. I am Let's go to trial. Well, they
- 6:57Speaker 2: got no court and he didn't argue the case at all.
- 6:59Speaker 2: All they did was try to find some technical difficulty
- 7:02Speaker 2: with the prosecutor to get the case dismissed on a technicality,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and that's how the judge threw it out. So there
- 7:08Speaker 2: was no ruling of any kind on Komi's guilt or
- 7:11Speaker 2: Leticia James's guilt. Nothing. This was strictly the technical stuff
- 7:16Speaker 2: about the prosecutor that you have to be confirmed by
- 7:21Speaker 2: the Senate. This prosecutor was appointed as an interim prosecutor,
- 7:26Speaker 2: interim temporary prosecutor. So they argued that it was she
- 7:30Speaker 2: had used up her allotted one hundred and twenty day
- 7:33Speaker 2: interim appointment and then she was beyond one hundred and
- 7:36Speaker 2: twenty day dead. It's just silly nonsense, but that's how
- 7:40Speaker 2: got turned out. Now they can simply get another prosecutor,
- 7:43Speaker 2: which would be easy to do. They could do that,
- 7:46Speaker 2: they could have somebody else to do the case. The
- 7:48Speaker 2: only problem with Komy there is a statute of limitations,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and I think we just went past it, so they'd
- 7:58Speaker 2: have to But it was in the middle of this trial.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So normally you could argue to get a grace period,
- 8:03Speaker 2: a six to eight month grace period on that statute
- 8:06Speaker 2: of limitations. The judge can deny it. In fact, in
- 8:08Speaker 2: the ruling, this was a Bill Clinton, left wing Comy
- 8:12Speaker 2: lovin swamp judge who in the decision puts something in
- 8:17Speaker 2: there about I don't feel this this case would have
- 8:21Speaker 2: a grace period apply to it for statute of limitations.
- 8:25Speaker 2: So this judge was doing everything to protect Call Me
- 8:30Speaker 2: Comy was again doing his victory dance all over TV yesterday.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I'm grateful that the court ended the case against me,
- 8:37Speaker 5: which was a prosecution based on malevolence and incompetence and
- 8:42Speaker 5: a reflection of what the Department of Justice has become
- 8:44Speaker 5: under Donald Trump, which is heartbreaking.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Oh god, it's heartbreaking. Oh my god. There are a
- 8:51Speaker 2: couple of cases you could argue that maybe it's a weaponisation.
- 8:56Speaker 2: You could maybe argue a couple of these cases. Well,
- 8:59Speaker 2: they call me. There were a thousand cases that were
- 9:02Speaker 2: no doubt. Weapon is a total weaponization. This guy made
- 9:05Speaker 2: up the whole Russia hoax, total weaponization. Look, call me,
- 9:09Speaker 2: went after everybody and anybody. Uh So, it's I mean,
- 9:14Speaker 2: that's the irony of this whole thing that he's being
- 9:17Speaker 2: accused of doing. He's accusing Trump of doing what he's
- 9:21Speaker 2: the most guilty of in the history of the FBI,
- 9:24Speaker 2: worse than j Edgar Hoover.
- 9:25Speaker 5: This case mattered to me personally, obviously, but it matters
- 9:29Speaker 5: most because a message has to be sent that the
- 9:32Speaker 5: President of the United States cannot use the Department of
- 9:36Speaker 5: Justice to target his political enemies.
- 9:38Speaker 2: No, that's call Me's job. Let him do that.
- 9:41Speaker 5: I don't care what your politics are. You have to
- 9:44Speaker 5: see that as fundamentally Unamerican and a threat to the
- 9:47Speaker 5: rule of law that keeps all of us free.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I've met call me a few times. He actually
- 9:52Speaker 2: talks like this, believe it or not. When you meet
- 9:54Speaker 2: him just socially, he's like the sanctimonious Hello. Oh, he's
- 9:59Speaker 2: very m she's a very serious, pompous voice. So the
- 10:03Speaker 2: case will come back. Now in the case of Letitia James,
- 10:06Speaker 2: there's no statute of limitations problem that case will proceed.
- 10:10Speaker 2: She's absolutely If you look at the paperwork, it looks
- 10:12Speaker 2: like she's absolutely guilty of mortgage frauds. So her they
- 10:16Speaker 2: got I don't see how they don't end up convicting her.
- 10:20Speaker 2: She's going to have a real problem. But call me.
- 10:23Speaker 2: They got to go over all these technicalities. Hey, if
- 10:26Speaker 2: you watch fake news NBCCBSABC, MSNBC, if you watch the
- 10:30Speaker 2: fake news networks, they'll give you this stuff about the
- 10:32Speaker 2: prosecutor who has no experience as a prosecutor. She was
- 10:36Speaker 2: appointed prosecutor without any experience as a prosecutor. She has
- 10:40Speaker 2: no prosecutorial experience. They keep making a big point out
- 10:44Speaker 2: of this, but because it's fake news, they never point
- 10:47Speaker 2: out that that's not unusual. Many many US attorneys that
- 10:50Speaker 2: are appointed have no experience as a prosecutor. It's pretty
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean, many of them do, but many of them don't.
- 10:57Speaker 2: You know what good example is Chris Christy. He was
- 11:00Speaker 2: never a prosecutor. He was appointed US attorney with no
- 11:03Speaker 2: experience as a prosecutor. In fact, he'd just been a
- 11:06Speaker 2: regular corporate lawyer. He'd never even been in a courtroom.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Before when he was made US attorney. And if you
- 11:12Speaker 2: watch him on that Sunday Morning show, you know he's
- 11:14Speaker 2: always giving you that. You know, as a prosecutor. As
- 11:16Speaker 2: a former prosecutor, I can tell you, well, he became
- 11:20Speaker 2: a prosecutor just because he was a big donor, bundler
- 11:22Speaker 2: for George W. Bush And the reward was US attorney
- 11:26Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Never been a prosecutor. It's not unusual.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Happens all the time. So we'll see where that case goes.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Nothing will happen till after Thanksgiving. Everybody's going away. Hey,
- 11:37Speaker 2: the Trump Mam Donnie meeting all right here, So we're
- 11:42Speaker 2: learning more and more about this meeting. It was brokeer by.
- 11:46Speaker 2: He doesn't want his name mentioned. It's a big, big, big, big,
- 11:49Speaker 2: big New York business name, huge business name who had
- 11:53Speaker 2: a very good relationship with Mom Donnie. Big business guy.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He broke at the meeting. He admits it was Mam
- 12:03Speaker 2: Donnie who wanted the meeting. A top Mam Donnie inner
- 12:07Speaker 2: circle person approached him to see if he could set
- 12:10Speaker 2: up the meeting. He talked with the President, he talked
- 12:12Speaker 2: with the White House. They were open to the meeting,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and they agreed to it. Now, one of the conditions
- 12:21Speaker 2: was that Mam Donnie, they asked that he not come
- 12:23Speaker 2: in there and if there were a press conference afterwards
- 12:26Speaker 2: starts spewing his left wing nonsense. He agreed not to
- 12:29Speaker 2: do that to keep it, keep it in check, and
- 12:33Speaker 2: they agreed to the meeting, so it took place. Now, apparently,
- 12:38Speaker 2: the why would Mamdani reach out and pull strings trying
- 12:41Speaker 2: to get a meeting with the president. Why was it
- 12:43Speaker 2: so important to him, Well, apparently after he got elected.
- 12:47Speaker 2: One of the things that happens is you meet with
- 12:49Speaker 2: the current mayor, the current city hall people, the current governor,
- 12:54Speaker 2: the current government. You meet with them and they show
- 12:56Speaker 2: you the books. Basically, they show you everything, show you
- 13:00Speaker 2: all the inside stuff, the files, the secrets. So he's
- 13:04Speaker 2: looking through the financials of it and he realizes New
- 13:07Speaker 2: York has a huge budget problem. Then if he wants
- 13:11Speaker 2: to do any of these programs, pay for even a
- 13:13Speaker 2: few of them, he's going to have a problem. And
- 13:16Speaker 2: he also under law now you have to balance the
- 13:18Speaker 2: city budget, you can't go into debt. So he was
- 13:23Speaker 2: briefed on the budget and he saw that a major
- 13:26Speaker 2: part of it is seven point five billion in federal aid.
- 13:31Speaker 2: There's no way you can get that budget to work
- 13:34Speaker 2: without that seven point five billion in federal aid to
- 13:39Speaker 2: the city. So he saw it was crucial. The whole
- 13:41Speaker 2: budget is going to face a seventeen billion dollar budget
- 13:45Speaker 2: deficit in the next fiscal year. You have to balance
- 13:48Speaker 2: that according to the law. So he absolutely has to
- 13:53Speaker 2: have that federal money. If Trump cuts off the federal money,
- 13:56Speaker 2: he is dead. Not only do all his programs disappear.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Anything he wants to do is going without the federal money.
- 14:03Speaker 2: But he's got a major budget crisis. He could have
- 14:06Speaker 2: a shortfall of as much as eight billion dollars. So
- 14:10Speaker 2: that's why he's got to make sure that federal money
- 14:13Speaker 2: doesn't stop. It's the only thing that keeps his administration alive.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So that's why he wanted the meeting. That's why he
- 14:20Speaker 2: wants to get along with Trump. Trump wants the meeting
- 14:23Speaker 2: because he wants me. You know, like any crazy person
- 14:27Speaker 2: you're dealing with, Kim Jong un or Putin or whoever,
- 14:31Speaker 2: you want to meet with them, try to work something
- 14:33Speaker 2: out with them. Trump is playing nice for now, but
- 14:36Speaker 2: he can go, you know, rough at any time. So
- 14:41Speaker 2: they want to work out something with to keep deporting
- 14:43Speaker 2: the illegals, the criminal illegals and all that. He wants
- 14:47Speaker 2: the police. Trump wants the police force to be top
- 14:50Speaker 2: notch here in New York, total law enforcement. So if
- 14:53Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, you know, doesn't do the right thing on
- 14:56Speaker 2: either of those, Trump can stop the turn off the
- 14:59Speaker 2: money flow, and Mom Donnie will be in huge financial trouble.
- 15:05Speaker 2: So he agreed to a lot of things. He agreed
- 15:07Speaker 2: not to antagonize Trump. Next year they're gonna have this big,
- 15:11Speaker 2: big budget problem. So that's the reason it all took place.
- 15:15Speaker 2: They got off to a good start. Now Trump can
- 15:18Speaker 2: go nasty at any point if he wants. Mam Donnie
- 15:22Speaker 2: really doesn't have any leverage on this. As Trump said
- 15:26Speaker 2: to Zelenski, you don't have the cards right now. So
- 15:30Speaker 2: Mam Donnie will probably behave most important thing is of
- 15:32Speaker 2: the crime situation. He will leave the police department alone.
- 15:36Speaker 2: We hope that's the one thing he agreed with Trump
- 15:39Speaker 2: on leave the police department alone. Let him clean up
- 15:42Speaker 2: the crime. Anyway, we'll get back to that. We'll get
- 15:44Speaker 2: to the Ukraine. It looks like there's going to be
- 15:46Speaker 2: a peace deal. As crazy as that peace plan was,
- 15:50Speaker 2: as pro Russia as that police plan was. Looks like
- 15:53Speaker 2: they're working something out. You may have an agreement within
- 15:56Speaker 2: a week. Meetings are taking place as we speak. We'll
- 16:00Speaker 2: get to hey. New Year's Eve, they unveiled the new ball.
- 16:04Speaker 2: You know, every fifteen twenty years they do a new ball.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You know, the ball drops on New Year's Eve. It
- 16:10Speaker 2: used to be light bulbs, and it became LEDs and
- 16:13Speaker 2: then when all digital. The new ball, this one is huge.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It's twelve feet in diameter. It's much much, much bigger
- 16:23Speaker 2: than the other balls, be much more visible. It's all circles.
- 16:27Speaker 2: The old one was triangles. It's all circles, so it
- 16:30Speaker 2: can do amazing effects. It's it's on display in times
- 16:34Speaker 2: square if you want to go look at it. Anyway,
- 16:36Speaker 2: we've got a lot to get to. We'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.

- 17:36Speaker 6: old day, Mark, So I don't know how many Thanksgivings
- 17:40Speaker 6: God has for me if he wants, I'll be ninety
- 17:43Speaker 6: six in February. Do you believe that.
- 17:46Speaker 2: We're still working as a hooker in Las Vegas?
- 17:48Speaker 6: I know, well no, all my clients are dead and
- 17:51Speaker 6: buried and not but Mark, this is going to be
- 17:54Speaker 6: the first year with having prime roast, no turk. Well,
- 18:00Speaker 6: I always like the sides anyway, I'm not a turkey fan.
- 18:03Speaker 6: I like the side stuffing three potato.
- 18:06Speaker 2: But all right, well that's good. Well, have a great Thanksgiving. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I don't know. Do we still have that turkey every year?
- 18:13Speaker 2: I love turkey, but a lot of people don't. And
- 18:16Speaker 2: she's right. Have whatever you want for Thanksgiving. You know,
- 18:19Speaker 2: every day for a week and a half, we've had
- 18:21Speaker 2: these Thanksgiving buffets. Here at iHeart there's one right now
- 18:24Speaker 2: in front of the Elvis studio. This is the one
- 18:28Speaker 2: fifth full Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey Cranberry's a stuffing pumpkin. Fifth
- 18:33Speaker 2: one I've had in a week and a half. I
- 18:35Speaker 2: gotta be honest, I can't have another Thanksgiving dinner. It's
- 18:38Speaker 2: enough for the rest of the year. Let's go to
- 18:41Speaker 2: Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich how you doing thanks walk?
- 18:45Speaker 7: Pretty good? Happy Thanks given?
- 18:46Speaker 1: I guess call me.
- 18:47Speaker 7: He's not off the hook. I'm just going to refile
- 18:49Speaker 7: once you get past the holidays, right, Oh yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah, No, the case is that there was nothing against
- 18:54Speaker 2: the case. It was just simply technicality on how the
- 18:57Speaker 2: prosecutor got appointed. So it does not help. Call me.
- 19:01Speaker 2: He's gonna argue.
- 19:01Speaker 7: You can't wait to see these people in handcuffs and
- 19:03Speaker 7: see their mug shots for fal Teatian James, call me
- 19:06Speaker 7: to be I'd be so awesome to see these sanctimonias.
- 19:11Speaker 2: We losen. Yeah, these two lawf Era idiots, but call
- 19:14Speaker 2: me will now argue statute of limitations. So remember that
- 19:18Speaker 2: video he put out the first day of this he said,
- 19:21Speaker 2: I'm ready for a trial. Let's go to trial. Now
- 19:23Speaker 2: he's fighting every technicality not to go to trial. Let's
- 19:27Speaker 2: go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark,
- 19:31Speaker 2: that's Mike.
- 19:32Speaker 8: I agree if they should be prosecuted, but it's no
- 19:36Speaker 8: less infuriating that they are able to stall these cases.
- 19:39Speaker 8: You know, nobody said anything when Colangelo went to New
- 19:43Speaker 8: York from the DJ to prosecute Trump. I mean, oh,
- 19:46Speaker 8: you know what a shock, you know, in the hush
- 19:48Speaker 8: money case. And not the least of which any two
- 19:52Speaker 8: bit you know, second third court judge can rule on
- 19:56Speaker 8: every you know, every.
- 19:58Speaker 9: Order that the president may and nobody says anything. And
- 20:01Speaker 9: it's a delay tactic that works because time runs out.
- 20:05Speaker 9: The buck is running on the administration, and so you.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Know, really what this is. It's just they got very
- 20:12Speaker 2: lucky geography wise. If this case were in a normal place,
- 20:16Speaker 2: a normal court, a normal judge, Camy would have a
- 20:19Speaker 2: big problem. But when you do it in Washington, d c.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Or this district in Virginia, where it's really part of Washington,
- 20:25Speaker 2: d C. Or if you do it in New York City,
- 20:27Speaker 2: get a left wing kook, Trump hating judge who will
- 20:30Speaker 2: always rule against anything Trump. That's the problem. So then
- 20:34Speaker 2: if they could get this move to a normal place.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That's why Trump had a easy time in the documents cases.
- 20:40Speaker 2: It went to Florida, we had a normal, neutral, legitimate
- 20:43Speaker 2: judge instead of these left wing kooks. Let's go to
- 20:46Speaker 2: Paul in white Stone. Paul, how you doing, Hey.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Mark, how you doing? You know my Bommy's bringing in.
- 20:53Speaker 1: There's a guy on his transition team focusing on community
- 20:56Speaker 1: safety named Alex Vitally. Alex is a book on college
- 21:00Speaker 1: professor who wants to abolish the police and legalize prostitution.
- 21:06Speaker 1: He doesn't allow any comments on his Facebook posts. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: tried to comment on it. I tried to call his
- 21:12Speaker 1: office at Brooklyn College.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Why why are you calling him?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Because I want to debate him. I want to I
- 21:18Speaker 1: want to change the debate.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Why should you debate him? Why should he debate you?
- 21:22Speaker 2: This guy's a left wing kook professor, that's what he believes.
- 21:25Speaker 2: You're not going to change his mind.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You never know, You got to get you don't give
- 21:31Speaker 1: leave them, leave them alone.
- 21:32Speaker 2: He's a left wing I'm not going to leave them alone.
- 21:35Speaker 1: In fact, I'm going to expose his hypocrisy because I
- 21:37Speaker 1: asked Brooklyn college security. Has he has he indicated abolishing
- 21:41Speaker 1: campus security. They said no, we've never had any time.
- 21:44Speaker 2: All right, but we know what he is. He's a
- 21:46Speaker 2: left wing kook, professor. He's never been out in the
- 21:48Speaker 2: real world, probably never had a real job.
- 21:50Speaker 1: He's all right, So we should just ignore him instead of.
- 21:54Speaker 2: There's nothing to expose. We know what he is as
- 21:57Speaker 2: soon as you said, professor Brooklyn, as soon as you
- 21:59Speaker 2: said profess, yes, sir, you know he's a left wing cook.
- 22:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But you can't you can't just say, oh, all of
- 22:04Speaker 1: those people are crazy. Now I have given examples of
- 22:08Speaker 1: why that crazy.
- 22:09Speaker 2: You know they're crazy. Of course they're crazy. We know
- 22:11Speaker 2: they're crazy. All right, you're not going to do anything
- 22:14Speaker 2: about it. Just devote your energy to something more useful
- 22:19Speaker 2: than a crazy kook of a college professor. They're all nuts.
- 22:22Speaker 2: If you want to do something, actually get these colleges
- 22:25Speaker 2: to start hiring normal people instead of just left wing
- 22:28Speaker 2: radical kooks to be the professor's Hey, when we come
- 22:31Speaker 2: back Bill O'Reilly, We'll be with us next on seven
- 22:35Speaker 2: to ten WR.
- 22:36Speaker 9: Mark Simone on.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Hey, Bill O'Reilly, the number one TV anchor for decades,
- 22:44Speaker 2: the number one best selling non fiction author on Earth.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You should get his latest book. It's already a huge bestseller,
- 22:50Speaker 2: Confronting Evil. Fascinating book, Confronting Evil. You can get it
- 22:54Speaker 2: on Amazon or wherever. Make sure you watch this YouTube channel.
- 22:58Speaker 2: You can get the TV show column. Everything's at billoreilly
- 23:01Speaker 2: dot com. Bill Oreilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly.
- 23:05Speaker 10: How you doing getting ready for Thanksgiving? I hear a
- 23:08Speaker 10: rumor you're going to be on one of the floats, amone?
- 23:10Speaker 10: Is that true?
- 23:11Speaker 2: No, it's gonna be windy and cold and freezing.
- 23:16Speaker 10: Have you ever been to one of those parades?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Well, I've been in a few parades, not to Thanksgiving
- 23:21Speaker 2: Day one, but other parades. No, it's kind of strange
- 23:24Speaker 2: marching down the road.
- 23:25Speaker 10: I had to work it a few times when I
- 23:27Speaker 10: was at Channel two. I just don't know why people
- 23:33Speaker 10: like to see people on floats waving. Do you have
- 23:36Speaker 10: any idea why they like to see that?
- 23:38Speaker 2: No, I don't know why anybody would stand there for
- 23:40Speaker 2: twelve hours. When you go watch the TV.
- 23:42Speaker 10: But why do they? Millions of people turn on TV's
- 23:47Speaker 10: is to watch people on floats waving everyone like animal
- 23:51Speaker 10: house and they will destroy each other. That'll be all right,
- 23:54Speaker 10: but I'm not getting it. They are they're waving, so.
- 23:58Speaker 7: What you know what?
- 24:00Speaker 2: It's also very generational. This Donald Duck comes by and
- 24:03Speaker 2: every kid goes, who the hell is that? You know?
- 24:05Speaker 10: They right? How about the rockets? I don't know one
- 24:08Speaker 10: human being who's ever seen the rockets? Do you know
- 24:11Speaker 10: anybody who's ever seen the rockets?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, privately I've seen a few, but not the show
- 24:17Speaker 2: left them. So, hey, you're the great historian. The first
- 24:22Speaker 2: Thanksgiving we pictured the beautifully dressed Pilgrims. They came over
- 24:26Speaker 2: in the Wonderful Mayflower. Tell us what really happened back then?
- 24:30Speaker 10: Well, sixteen twenty two, they're Uni may Flower. Sixty six
- 24:35Speaker 10: days they show up. They think they're in Virginia, but
- 24:38Speaker 10: they're not. They're in Cape cot Oh and it's cold, windy.
- 24:46Speaker 10: But they want off the ship because sixty six days
- 24:50Speaker 10: and they couldn't go on top of the ship. They
- 24:52Speaker 10: had all stayed beneath the deck. And you can imagine
- 24:56Speaker 10: the just the odor alone down there, So they all
- 25:02Speaker 10: want to can't where they were. I just want to
- 25:04Speaker 10: get off the stupid Mayflower. So they row in and
- 25:09Speaker 10: they show up Plymouth. If you go up to Massachusetts,
- 25:13Speaker 10: the town of Plymouth, there's no rock, all right. But
- 25:16Speaker 10: they show up and then they look at each other
- 25:19Speaker 10: and goes, well, what do we do now? Any drive
- 25:22Speaker 10: in restaurants or any door dash It's like, okay, we
- 25:27Speaker 10: have to find food or die. Half of them die,
- 25:32Speaker 10: half of them whoa yeah. Within a year. And I
- 25:36Speaker 10: read about this in Killing the Witches, how this harrowing
- 25:40Speaker 10: voyage and the reason that they had to make it.
- 25:43Speaker 10: And they weren't called pilgrims to one hundred years later
- 25:47Speaker 10: in the nineteenth century they labeled them pilgrims. They were
- 25:50Speaker 10: called separatists or Puritans, and they were very harsh religious people,
- 25:56Speaker 10: and everybody in Europe hated them. The Dutch hated them.
- 25:59Speaker 10: The hated them because they were like fanatics. They're like
- 26:04Speaker 10: the people that come to your door, you know, and
- 26:05Speaker 10: they want to convert you. That's what they were. And
- 26:10Speaker 10: so they somehow survived somehow with the help of the
- 26:14Speaker 10: Native American. A guy named Squanto showed them how to
- 26:18Speaker 10: get food out of the forest, so half of them survived.
- 26:21Speaker 10: But they're all quibbling and yelling at each other in
- 26:25Speaker 10: church for five hours and all of that. So it
- 26:28Speaker 10: wasn't exactly club med there, if you know what I'm saying.
- 26:31Speaker 2: So the first Thanksgiving dinner everybody was fighting too, not
- 26:34Speaker 2: just today.
- 26:35Speaker 10: Well now they had a dinner a courtesy of Squanto
- 26:40Speaker 10: in his a few tribe members, most of the tribe
- 26:44Speaker 10: with white gap by smallpox. And Squanto was an Indian
- 26:49Speaker 10: who was kidnapped by an English sailor and brought the Spain,
- 26:55Speaker 10: learned how to speak English and Spain, and then somehow
- 26:58Speaker 10: got back to Massachusetts. I don't know whether he flew
- 27:01Speaker 10: Jet blue. I don't know how he got back there,
- 27:05Speaker 10: but Squanto was a good guy and helped him out.
- 27:08Speaker 10: So they had a three days celebration where they all
- 27:10Speaker 10: got you know, they weren't supposed to get drunk, but
- 27:13Speaker 10: believe me, they were getting drunk. And they had oysters,
- 27:17Speaker 10: mostly seafood, not turkey, not turkey or you know, mashed potatoes.
- 27:24Speaker 10: It's mostly seafood day ate. But they had a good time.
- 27:28Speaker 10: And then from there the Massachusetts Bay Colony was established.
- 27:34Speaker 2: So how come, we have to have turkey and stuffing
- 27:36Speaker 2: and all that. Why can't we have seafood?
- 27:38Speaker 10: Well, a better question is why do we have the
- 27:41Speaker 10: president of the United States pardoning the turkey? Now? I
- 27:44Speaker 10: heard a rumor that Senator Kelly's going to be on
- 27:48Speaker 10: that line. He's going to get partner along with the Kelly,
- 27:50Speaker 10: but I don't think that's true.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Hey, those Congress people with their silly stunt. Although it worked,
- 27:58Speaker 2: it was a pretty good stunt. But we go to
- 28:02Speaker 2: an era of trolling and stunts, and that's how we're
- 28:04Speaker 2: going to do our nation's politics.
- 28:06Speaker 7: I know.
- 28:07Speaker 10: It's so ridiculous. And a man, Donnie Trump meaning was
- 28:10Speaker 10: a stunt too. I wrote a column on Billowilly dot
- 28:14Speaker 10: com about this, called a stunt Factor. Yeah. I think
- 28:17Speaker 10: you're right. I think this is the future politics as
- 28:20Speaker 10: you set up this contrived nonsense. But I don't think
- 28:25Speaker 10: this worked out well for the Democrats, the six of
- 28:27Speaker 10: these people. I don't think they gained any currency, except
- 28:31Speaker 10: for the far left cranks. Because even if you don't
- 28:34Speaker 10: like Trump and you're going, why you're undermining the military, now,
- 28:39Speaker 10: is that what you're doing here? If they had a beef,
- 28:42Speaker 10: a legitimate beef of an order that might be beyond
- 28:47Speaker 10: the constitutional authority of the president. I'm willing to listen
- 28:51Speaker 10: to that. But they didn't have anything. They just want
- 28:54Speaker 10: to get on television and wail about how noble they
- 28:57Speaker 10: are with a bunch of garbage.
- 29:00Speaker 2: It was a bold solution for a problem that doesn't
- 29:02Speaker 2: exist and has So.
- 29:06Speaker 10: The problem is there in a sense that there are
- 29:07Speaker 10: all orders given in every campaign by every president that
- 29:11Speaker 10: are dubious. You imagine being in Theanola gay I wrote
- 29:15Speaker 10: this on the column, and you got to drop the
- 29:17Speaker 10: a bomb on civilians and kill one hundred thousand of them.
- 29:21Speaker 10: I mean, that's still being debated to this day, Harry
- 29:23Speaker 10: Truman's order. But you're in the plane. I think, I
- 29:27Speaker 10: think this is your leg I'm not dropping a bomb.
- 29:30Speaker 7: No, he can't.
- 29:31Speaker 10: He can't have that nothing. Come on, so.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Hey, Ukraine. It seemed like a silly kind of a
- 29:38Speaker 2: peace plan, too much in favor of Russia. But it
- 29:41Speaker 2: looks like they've made some progress on it looks like
- 29:43Speaker 2: something could happen.
- 29:43Speaker 10: What do you think, Well, this is will usually happen.
- 29:46Speaker 10: Some slimeball leaked out the original outline of the peace
- 29:53Speaker 10: deal to the Telegraph newspaper in London. But you know,
- 29:58Speaker 10: any negotiator, if you've everyone in the negotiation in your life,
- 30:01Speaker 10: you always start with craziness. I want this, I want that,
- 30:06Speaker 10: and then you come back to the center. So the
- 30:08Speaker 10: President don't care about any of that. They just report
- 30:11Speaker 10: the league. I don't know exactly how this is going
- 30:15Speaker 10: to come out, but I do know that Russia is
- 30:18Speaker 10: much more powerful than Ukraine. And you know you're getting
- 30:23Speaker 10: all these dispatches from the White House saying, well, we
- 30:26Speaker 10: got this, we got that. I wouldn't count on Putin cooperating.
- 30:30Speaker 10: You know, if you read Confronting Evil and thank you
- 30:32Speaker 10: for mentioning it, a pop, this is a bad guy.
- 30:36Speaker 10: I mean beyond I mean, if you really want evil,
- 30:38Speaker 10: if you really want to understand it, you can read
- 30:40Speaker 10: my book. But you can also look at this Putin.
- 30:43Speaker 10: This guy he enjoys killing women and children. He likes it,
- 30:49Speaker 10: and he can. There's no restraint on him. He's hitler,
- 30:53Speaker 10: he's Stylin. He does what he wants. He's going like
- 30:55Speaker 10: he has to confer with somebody. So I don't get
- 31:00Speaker 10: too optimistic about this thing. And Zelensky has got no
- 31:03Speaker 10: power at all, none and so where is his bargaining position.
- 31:08Speaker 10: He didn't have one.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want to read an amazing book, Bill
- 31:12Speaker 2: O'Reilly's latest book, Confronting Evil. If you want to really
- 31:14Speaker 2: be stunned, read the Putin chapter. You won't believe this guy.
- 31:19Speaker 2: But also, it's Christmas coming up. People need to get gifts.
- 31:22Speaker 2: What do you have a good deal on your books
- 31:24Speaker 2: for gifts?
- 31:25Speaker 7: Oh?
- 31:25Speaker 10: You know, we have a lot of good stuff. Because
- 31:26Speaker 10: I feel bad for working men and women, particularly in
- 31:29Speaker 10: the New York area. We're being gouged every time we
- 31:32Speaker 10: turn around. Fifteen dollars tun of sandwiches now and come on,
- 31:38Speaker 10: you know. So what I did on Bill O'Reilly dot
- 31:41Speaker 10: com Christmas store was we have a bundle of all
- 31:46Speaker 10: of my books, all fifteen thirteen, Killing two Confronting for
- 31:50Speaker 10: a very good price. And these books are in demand.
- 31:53Speaker 10: Even if you don't like me, the books are good.
- 31:56Speaker 10: And see you buy the bundle, keep some for yourself
- 31:59Speaker 10: if you want, but you can give them away. You
- 32:01Speaker 10: save a ton of money on gifts. And I'll sign them.
- 32:06Speaker 10: I can. I signed five thousand books tom and over
- 32:08Speaker 10: the weekend. Wow, five thousand books.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, people, you don't think, but a book is a
- 32:14Speaker 2: great Christmas gift for somebody perfect.
- 32:16Speaker 10: Yeah, especially if it's a good book. Yeah, if they
- 32:21Speaker 10: like it. And then we got, you know, the not
- 32:23Speaker 10: woke stuff we got. I have a knot woke matt
- 32:26Speaker 10: in front of my house. I sat a little message.
- 32:28Speaker 10: You know, I don't want to really hear it. I
- 32:30Speaker 10: know we have Christmas ornaments and hats and shirts and
- 32:33Speaker 10: all that stuff. And what this does is it allows
- 32:35Speaker 10: me to give nice Christmas bonuses to my staff. Yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 10: so so everybody, everybody wins here.
- 32:42Speaker 2: All right, Well we're out of time, but if you
- 32:43Speaker 2: want to do some Christmas shopping, you want to get
- 32:45Speaker 2: it all taken care of, go to Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Books are great gifts, and all those other gifts go
- 32:50Speaker 2: to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You also get the TV show,
- 32:53Speaker 2: the column. Everything is there Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 32:57Speaker 2: thanks for being with us.
