Carmen Schools just unveiled their brand-new Southgate campus, a $55 million investment housing 1,050 students from former South and Southeast high schools — finally breaking free from Milwaukee Public Schools’ shared spaces. Under UWM’s oversight, Carmen is set to fully relocate by 2027, with Northwest moving to Fortis South in Harambee after MPS declined to renew its authorization.
