- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cambridge Edge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the
- 0:15Speaker 2: Rough with Teddy Mellencamp and Surprise Phil In what what
- 0:20Speaker 2: have we even? You're not even a guest at this point.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You're Surprise and Co.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I am whatever you say, I am. Yeah, you are
- 0:28Speaker 1: the boss, Teddy Mellencamp, You are my boss. So I'll
- 0:32Speaker 1: take whatever title you want to give me. And I
- 0:34Speaker 1: don't say that to too many people.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I love you, Dolores. You know who is obsessed with
- 0:40Speaker 2: your ex husband?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Who?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Edwin? He interviewed it the other day and apparently they
- 0:45Speaker 2: got on biggest.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Oh.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I love that. He's a guys guy.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Yeah, they just they really got along. While Edwin was
- 0:51Speaker 2: all chipper around, I'm like, what are you so excited about?
- 0:54Speaker 2: He's like, do you know Dolores Catana And I'm.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Like, yes, they're so so bid.
- 1:04Speaker 2: But anyways, Yeah, So there's a lot of things that
- 1:08Speaker 2: we're going to recap season nineteen, episode five of A
- 1:12Speaker 2: Households in Orange County. There was a lot of things
- 1:14Speaker 2: in the press, and there's a lot of things everywhere,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and I feel like the only thing that Dolores and
- 1:20Speaker 2: I could do by commenting on it would be getting
- 1:22Speaker 2: ourselves in trouble because there's spent so much chatter at
- 1:27Speaker 2: this point, even there's not even a point to recap it.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Everybody's seen it. Make your own opinion, yeah, I mean,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and learn from your mistakes.
- 1:39Speaker 1: What else can you do? Yeah?
- 1:41Speaker 2: I mean that's and maybe try apologizing without a butt.
- 1:46Speaker 1: That doesn't happen often in our world, does it, Teddy?
- 1:49Speaker 2: No, Why is there always got to be a butt?
- 1:50Speaker 2: We should take butt out of everybody's vernacular and see
- 1:53Speaker 2: how well they go. They can't do.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Throw it in the garbage, the trash, and you know what,
- 1:58Speaker 1: I want to get rid of, Teddy. But I probably
- 2:02Speaker 1: always around. I think UM's been around since I've been
- 2:06Speaker 1: lost for words. No, I feel like I hear it
- 2:11Speaker 1: now more than ever, unless I'm sensitive to it, like
- 2:14Speaker 1: poor Gabby. You know, my daughter Gabby. I've been making
- 2:17Speaker 1: her work with Clear the Shelters this year and you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the season, and she's been doing a lot of
- 2:22Speaker 1: She was took awful work to do an interview with me,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and she said too many times, but I didn't want
- 2:29Speaker 1: to yell at her there, so I had to wait
- 2:30Speaker 1: till we were done, and then I felt bad because.
- 2:32Speaker 2: She's then she's overthinking it and can't change it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. And so now but she's gotten bad,
- 2:37Speaker 1: but you know I told her, and now the last
- 2:39Speaker 1: couple of times, she's gotten better. So if I do that,
- 2:43Speaker 1: please tell me, because I'm trying not to be the
- 2:45Speaker 1: um girl.
- 2:47Speaker 2: M Okay, you know.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You have diplomatic immunity now, like, so if there's anybody
- 2:54Speaker 1: out there that wants to say something to me and
- 2:56Speaker 1: may not get mad, you're gonna have to go through Teddy.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Listen, you're gonna have to go through me, and we're
- 3:00Speaker 2: going to do our best. We'll get through it because
- 3:03Speaker 2: if we're we're easy to have conversations. It's easy to
- 3:06Speaker 2: have a conversation with Dolores.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I have problem not lately. Lately, I've been a fucking lunatic.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You have. I don't know why. I don't.
- 3:17Speaker 2: It's because someone suggested you needed to be a lunatic
- 3:20Speaker 2: A little bit from my viewing pleasure.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's like even off camera on I'm just I'm just
- 3:26Speaker 1: very up, like Paul's a calm down. I don't know
- 3:29Speaker 1: what it is.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's how I've been too, and I think somebody told
- 3:33Speaker 2: me it's because Mercury is in retrograde ship. It's over
- 3:39Speaker 2: and we're not be better. It ended.
- 3:43Speaker 1: No fucking.
- 3:45Speaker 2: We don't even have a butt. Damn sh damn it,
- 3:50Speaker 2: damn it, sh it. Well it starts off this episode.
- 3:54Speaker 2: At Gina's housewarming party, Jen tells the girls she met
- 3:57Speaker 2: with Tamra and explains that Tamar called claimed Jen is
- 4:00Speaker 2: obsessed with her, and then Gina tells them and I'm
- 4:04Speaker 2: only going to say this one time because I don't
- 4:06Speaker 2: think it's necessary to keep saying the word. But Gina
- 4:10Speaker 2: tells them about the fatty in quotation marks photo Tama
- 4:15Speaker 2: had shown Heather of Jin from yours prior listen. Tamra
- 4:18Speaker 2: may have said it was when Jen was heavy, but
- 4:22Speaker 2: she never said the F word. Gina is the one
- 4:26Speaker 2: who continues to say it and everybody else in this episode,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and for the record, I counted Gina said it over
- 4:31Speaker 2: eight times.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to say that because I've been
- 4:36Speaker 1: the F word. I'm now the F word.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Like, It's just we all struggle in different ways, and I've.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Always struggled, and we know your struggles and it's not fun.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It isn't fun.
- 4:50Speaker 2: And I think it's weird that she didn't actually say
- 4:53Speaker 2: the F word, But all the women are obsessed with
- 4:56Speaker 2: saying that's exactly what she said.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Because they I want to say, and they're using her
- 5:02Speaker 1: mouth to do it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but then it offends everybody. Now everybody's offended. Now
- 5:06Speaker 2: we can't stop hearing the effort.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. Let's just stop, you know. Yeah,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but listen, Jen looks great. Her body's insane right now.
- 5:19Speaker 1: She should be proud of whatever it is that she's
- 5:22Speaker 1: worked hard on.
- 5:23Speaker 2: And yeah, she looks stunning. I mean, should tamer have
- 5:25Speaker 2: shown the photo? Definitely not. But when she said heavy,
- 5:29Speaker 2: I think she met as it to look how Jen
- 5:31Speaker 2: got into amazing shape after meeting me. Not that this
- 5:35Speaker 2: makes any of the tons better, but she's trying to
- 5:38Speaker 2: justify a reason why, like, oh, well, clearly it's she
- 5:42Speaker 2: did these made these changes because she wanted to be
- 5:44Speaker 2: like me. I don't think she was trying to body
- 5:47Speaker 2: shame or judge her in that way at all.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Whatever she was doing, I can tell you one thing
- 5:54Speaker 1: she wasn't doing was the body shame.
- 5:56Speaker 2: No, she was not, and that's now turned into the
- 6:00Speaker 2: whole thing all over the worldwide web as well.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So everybody's upset that she Okay, well listen, it's got
- 6:07Speaker 1: you know what happens, Teddy. With this type of thing,
- 6:10Speaker 1: it lasts until something else happens. It has a seventy
- 6:12Speaker 1: two hour shelf life.
- 6:14Speaker 2: The problem is, I think the next thing that's going
- 6:16Speaker 2: to happen if once we get to the trailer of
- 6:17Speaker 2: this episode is something with Tama is getting it this season.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It's it's a rough one.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It's a rough one.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's a rough one. We all have our seasons.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but when Tama arrives, it's awkward with everyone. Jen, Shannon,
- 6:31Speaker 2: and Emily and Heather go outside to discuss the f
- 6:33Speaker 2: photo and Jen gets brought up. Heather explains that Tamora
- 6:37Speaker 2: is trying to show that Jen worked out to look
- 6:39Speaker 2: like her. Oh, this is exactly what I just said. Huh.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And then Heather explains how she can see someone else's
- 6:45Speaker 2: point of view, and Jen says Heather is bamboozled, and
- 6:49Speaker 2: but Heather has an amazing way of like not getting
- 6:53Speaker 2: into it, but getting into it, stirring it.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Just the tip, just the tip, the tip counts.
- 6:58Speaker 2: The tip counts, It counts, So she does it so
- 7:01Speaker 2: effortlessly you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Can't just say it was just the tip, like you
- 7:05Speaker 1: could try, you could, doesn't count.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But you know there was a couple throats in.
- 7:09Speaker 1: There, Yeah, maybe two or three. One for good luck,
- 7:16Speaker 1: one for goodbye. It's always the goodbye thrust. That's the best.
- 7:24Speaker 2: But if looks could kill. When Heather's eyes burned through
- 7:29Speaker 2: Jinn's face when she said bamboozled, like, Heather was like.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Not me, no, not today, not. I don't get bamboozled.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm hither to brow. I don't get bamboozled. But I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was impressed at how she did try to explain the
- 7:49Speaker 1: real intention behind it. I didn't.
- 7:51Speaker 2: It's like, what we're trying is impressive.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that was very impressive on Heather's part.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It really was, because if not, it really is just
- 8:00Speaker 2: pile on, everybody piling on without fully knowing the information.
- 8:03Speaker 2: What would have been more interesting television at this point
- 8:06Speaker 2: is if they had brought Tamara out and said, hey,
- 8:08Speaker 2: can you explain this a little bit?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well no, that's not gonna happen.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well fine, fine, Well, then Katie asked Haama how it
- 8:17Speaker 2: went with Jen, and Tamra explained that she told Jen
- 8:20Speaker 2: she's obsessed with her, especially for reaching out to people
- 8:23Speaker 2: like Gretchen. Gretchen tells Tamara it's like she has never
- 8:26Speaker 2: learned her lesson and calls her delusional and then walks outside.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Gretchen came back with a vengeance.
- 8:35Speaker 2: She's not trying to get any forgiveness here. But also
- 8:38Speaker 2: I hate to be the beaar of bad news. Gretchen
- 8:42Speaker 2: filters are considered being delusional, so now I see the
- 8:47Speaker 2: thing that we are all delusional?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Are they?
- 8:52Speaker 2: You need to peruse through her filters. She filters so much,
- 8:57Speaker 2: she takes out her nose holes.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Ah, she forgets again. She needs them that much. Listen,
- 9:05Speaker 1: if I knew how to put a filter on this,
- 9:08Speaker 1: I'm not doing it right now.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Believe me. If this could face app, it'd be on there.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You're not face app got less. Oh thanks, that's not
- 9:16Speaker 1: even fair. You look airbrushed. I don't know how to
- 9:19Speaker 1: work this, and Paul's sunning himself in the backyard, so
- 9:22Speaker 1: he wasn't able to help me get this on. My
- 9:24Speaker 1: assistant brought my dog to get her nails cut, so
- 9:27Speaker 1: when I had to turn this on. I'm like, all right,
- 9:28Speaker 1: fuck it.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Do you normally have a filter on here? I want one?
- 9:32Speaker 1: I always so wrong, I think I thought I did. Anyway,
- 9:35Speaker 1: it's not enough, but you know, yeah, it's the whole
- 9:39Speaker 1: filter game. But is she just listen, Gretchen's not a
- 9:43Speaker 1: bad looking woman. She looks great in her confession.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Doesn't need the extremity, need all that the filter she uses.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But right, why is someone doing it for her? Or
- 9:53Speaker 1: she just doesn't know how to do it? It just
- 9:55Speaker 1: makes you look weird when you don't have to when
- 9:58Speaker 1: you work that hard on yourself. Looks like she's someone
- 10:01Speaker 1: who actually works hard on taking care of himself, Like
- 10:05Speaker 1: I know she doesn't have roots like I do right
- 10:06Speaker 1: now ever, and she's very fit. And then so no
- 10:11Speaker 1: need for all the filters you work too hard, just.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Saying no need for all of it. But then Gina
- 10:17Speaker 2: tells them they're all going to New Orleans this you
- 10:20Speaker 2: might have to take a little bit because it was
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's hard for me to watch Tamra's upset because the
- 10:24Speaker 2: last time she was in she said it was with me,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and it was when I had fallen down the marble
- 10:30Speaker 2: stairs and a couple of days later is when I
- 10:33Speaker 2: ended up in the hospital and had to have my
- 10:37Speaker 2: emergency brain surgery. So it's very weird for me watching
- 10:42Speaker 2: this back because of course I know how hard like
- 10:45Speaker 2: I you know, Tamar came was one of the first
- 10:47Speaker 2: people to come see me at the hospital, you mean,
- 10:50Speaker 2: and she's there for me, staying with me, and I
- 10:53Speaker 2: know what she's going through. But it's also hard for
- 10:55Speaker 2: me to watch back. So what was your thoughts on
- 10:57Speaker 2: watching the whole thing altogether, Because I mean, I say,
- 11:00Speaker 2: reality shoulds are supposed to talk about anything, but then
- 11:03Speaker 2: they every time she says something, they're like, oh, she
- 11:05Speaker 2: wants sympathy.
- 11:07Speaker 1: So I can speak for Tamra who and you may
- 11:13Speaker 1: not know this, or you may know this. My off
- 11:17Speaker 1: camera Tamra was scrambling to try to find answers for you,
- 11:25Speaker 1: hysterical I had not I'm close with you, guys, but
- 11:30Speaker 1: I was so happy she picked up every call to
- 11:33Speaker 1: answer for you and just say I'm so upset, I'm sorry.
- 11:37Speaker 1: She was worse off camera than you saw her even
- 11:41Speaker 1: on camera. So whoever wants to say that, And I
- 11:45Speaker 1: would never lie about this. I want to speak for
- 11:48Speaker 1: someone who knows that you can I can debunk old
- 11:52Speaker 1: whoever has said, oh, she's looking for attention on camera,
- 11:55Speaker 1: because I have seen people say that, and you don't
- 11:57Speaker 1: want to fight with these people because when you text them,
- 11:59Speaker 1: you go into a whole thing and it's just not worthing.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I just wanted to be here to say that Tamra was,
- 12:06Speaker 1: of course truly truly broken over you, as everybody was.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You were so loved, but Tamra is so close to
- 12:15Speaker 1: you and was going through it with you.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I think people don't realize that. Like, I mean, I
- 12:22Speaker 2: had a select group of girlfriends. I know that, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 2: a select group of girlfriends that were really there for me,
- 12:28Speaker 2: and Tamra was one of them. And like I was
- 12:30Speaker 2: not a peach to be dealing with, Like I was
- 12:32Speaker 2: a real freaking hard person to deal with, and like
- 12:36Speaker 2: when I was in the hospital, and even leading up
- 12:39Speaker 2: to the hospital, I mean, tamer and I had multiple
- 12:41Speaker 2: conversations where I was like, something is wrong with me.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I don't know what's wrong with me. Things were happening,
- 12:46Speaker 2: and like we were in a part of like we
- 12:49Speaker 2: gotten to the point because I wasn't even making sense
- 12:52Speaker 2: because you know, of all these plumb sized tumors in
- 12:54Speaker 2: my brain. That Tamor was like, are you okay, Teddy?
- 12:57Speaker 2: What do we do?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:58Speaker 2: I love you? Like we Tamer and I don't film
- 13:01Speaker 2: a television show together. We have done this podcast for
- 13:04Speaker 2: so many years. We are like some people on television
- 13:07Speaker 2: shows are just friends. We've never been like. We don't
- 13:12Speaker 2: do that. We're not on Real Housewives of Orange County together.
- 13:15Speaker 2: There's nothing for either of us to gain from one another.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And we're true friends, right.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's what people don't understand. They don't know how to
- 13:23Speaker 1: separate these shows from what the two of you do.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And you're together all year around. People on the shows,
- 13:35Speaker 1: it's four months out of the year where you're on
- 13:37Speaker 1: top of each other. Then you see each other off
- 13:39Speaker 1: camera the real friends. But the two of you, for
- 13:42Speaker 1: so many years have five times a week, five times
- 13:46Speaker 1: a week, all year around a lot of time. You've
- 13:50Speaker 1: been through a lot together and nothing has ever come
- 13:54Speaker 1: between your friendship.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And I'm sure you've had disagreements. Who doesn't.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we can both be petty at times,
- 14:00Speaker 2: for sure, But I think at the end of the day,
- 14:02Speaker 2: we love each other and we joke about it and
- 14:04Speaker 2: we say like remember that time you deleted me from
- 14:06Speaker 2: the chat one time, or like remember that time I
- 14:09Speaker 2: called you one hundred and forty seven times and you wouldn't,
- 14:12Speaker 2: you know, like those types of things. But that's real friendship.
- 14:15Speaker 2: And I think truthfully, if one of the girls would
- 14:19Speaker 2: have actually like given her some love and said, like
- 14:23Speaker 2: talked through it a bit, maybe it would have helped
- 14:27Speaker 2: her move on. But I felt like she had to
- 14:28Speaker 2: just she kept kind of having to slide in little
- 14:31Speaker 2: bits of information like why doesn't anyone realize after I've
- 14:34Speaker 2: just told them that New Orleans is going to be
- 14:36Speaker 2: you know, like that what my situation was in New Orleans?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Cut to twenty minutes later, We're going to New Orleans.
- 14:44Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's to humanizing sometimes to watch you
- 14:49Speaker 1: forget that these women and that all people on reality
- 14:52Speaker 1: are human. Yeah, because they get a lot of flack
- 14:57Speaker 1: from social media and then they see us by and
- 15:00Speaker 1: then they see all this, but they don't see what
- 15:03Speaker 1: we're going with. You can't see what somebody's feeling inside. Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 1: but somebody with empathy would understand. Now one thing about Heather,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and I'm going to say Tamra reached out to them
- 15:17Speaker 1: quite a bit because her husband's a doctor and he
- 15:22Speaker 1: was an information for her to explain what you were
- 15:25Speaker 1: going through and to be there for her. So Heather
- 15:27Speaker 1: understood at great lengths what Tamra was going through and
- 15:34Speaker 1: what was going on between the two of you at
- 15:36Speaker 1: the time.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and you could see Heather would come over and
- 15:38Speaker 2: lay on the bed with tam like they are past things.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But I think you know, the one thing that we
- 15:44Speaker 2: can say that it was really positive for Tama this
- 15:47Speaker 2: episode was we see her with Sophia looking through her
- 15:50Speaker 2: spot eyes stats and I mean, granted, I want to
- 15:53Speaker 2: know what the song is. It's about the girl that
- 15:54Speaker 2: falls in love with the cannibal, But I mean, just
- 15:58Speaker 2: you can see the relation and how great it isn't
- 16:01Speaker 2: That part made me smile? And then the part that
- 16:15Speaker 2: made me sad was Emily gets emotional about leaving Luke
- 16:19Speaker 2: for New Orleans. She feels like Luke depends on her.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So that really got me teddy because it really was
- 16:28Speaker 1: a real look at a parent who a mother or
- 16:31Speaker 1: a father who's going through that, like she feels guilty
- 16:35Speaker 1: to be having or living her life. Yeah, and I
- 16:38Speaker 1: can only imagine that what she's going through like it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: got to be so hard. She's so worried about him
- 16:47Speaker 1: every second, every minute. Her cries are so visceral, Like
- 16:51Speaker 1: there's a lot of people going through things in this
- 16:54Speaker 1: episode that's like.
- 16:55Speaker 2: That are big things and can I just do like
- 16:59Speaker 2: a little PSA. Bands have been awful, awful to both
- 17:02Speaker 2: Emily and Larsa this week because about their looks.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Can we oh my god, can like we do.
- 17:08Speaker 2: A little better? Like we make fun of housewives in
- 17:11Speaker 2: so many ways, including outfits and hairstyles. But what we've
- 17:14Speaker 2: been saying, what people have been saying online, doing online
- 17:17Speaker 2: is not good. It's one thing to be like, that's
- 17:20Speaker 2: not my favorite look, but like the things that have
- 17:23Speaker 2: been said about.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Larsas that are coming out, yah, I mean.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It's getting to the point where it's like we wanted
- 17:30Speaker 2: to still have a fun aspect to it, and we
- 17:33Speaker 2: know the show is about drama, but social media, let's
- 17:35Speaker 2: make it fun. You can be shady and talk shit,
- 17:38Speaker 2: but still make it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: When did it get so dark? There was always a
- 17:43Speaker 1: few here and there, but now the majority of it
- 17:46Speaker 1: is so dark. Larsa was so hammered that she felt
- 17:51Speaker 1: the need to get on social media in a mirror
- 17:55Speaker 1: with her phone and try to explain why she looked
- 17:58Speaker 1: like that people that she never met or doesn't has
- 18:06Speaker 1: no bearing on her life. She's like, but I had
- 18:08Speaker 1: an allergic reaction. This is my face. Really, Like, I
- 18:12Speaker 1: can only imagine for her to have to do that
- 18:15Speaker 1: what she really was feeling at the time.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It's I mean, it's so brutal. It's I mean, the
- 18:20Speaker 2: other day and most of the time I don't respond,
- 18:22Speaker 2: I don't even see it. But somebody the other day
- 18:24Speaker 2: was like, oh my gosh, you look sickly. Well you
- 18:27Speaker 2: need to change your look, blah blah blah, and I
- 18:29Speaker 2: wrote back, well, I do have stage four cancer. Sorry
- 18:32Speaker 2: about my appearance. Doesn't appease you, And then all of
- 18:36Speaker 2: a sudden she was I'm so sorry about I'm like, okay.
- 18:40Speaker 1: What the hell? Did she just want the attention?
- 18:43Speaker 2: She just wanted the attention of the response.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's all. It's how sad are these people that they
- 18:50Speaker 1: feel the need to say something so egregious to you
- 18:55Speaker 1: to get your attention like a child? Is it? Like,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I can only imagine how pathetic somebody's life.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Is that they have to want to say that.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You know, like a child. Throwing a tantrum so they
- 19:07Speaker 1: get attention.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, or we just have to do better.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We have very sad it's it's a very sad existence.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I have a lot of pity for those people rather
- 19:18Speaker 1: than hate.
- 19:19Speaker 2: To be honest with you, No, true, I didn't. I
- 19:21Speaker 2: didn't have hate. I just was like, gosh, what is
- 19:23Speaker 2: wrong with everyone? Then Jen brings up to Ryan how
- 19:27Speaker 2: she struggles with body image, so the fact that Tamra
- 19:30Speaker 2: is showing. Then she uses the word, the F word.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Then she uses it Jen herself. Okay, Jen, but just
- 19:39Speaker 2: don't you now she's calling herself that.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I thought that we're not supposed to be saying that
- 19:46Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I thought so too. But it keeps going and they
- 19:49Speaker 2: discuss it. They love the word, they love the word.
- 19:51Speaker 2: They can't get enough.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Plaining about it, but they love the word.
- 19:54Speaker 2: They love the word. Then they discussed gens X husband
- 19:58Speaker 2: will and how the situation weighs on Ryan. I mean
- 20:02Speaker 2: Ryan kind of wins me over this episode a little
- 20:05Speaker 2: bit when he said he's not he's her ex has
- 20:08Speaker 2: not paid a dollar towards the lumpsun of green upon
- 20:11Speaker 2: her and all her kids live with Ryan, and Ryan
- 20:13Speaker 2: has to pay the attorney, like, Ryan's having to do
- 20:19Speaker 2: a lot of things.
- 20:20Speaker 1: This is there's so in love. Those two love.
- 20:24Speaker 2: But now that I found out she can't. He can't
- 20:26Speaker 2: even fully get it inside. He can literally dress the
- 20:29Speaker 2: tip that made me ouch. It hurts me just thinking
- 20:33Speaker 2: about it.
- 20:34Speaker 1: What do you mean? Oh?
- 20:36Speaker 2: At the end of the episode, she says that she
- 20:38Speaker 2: her vagina is broken, and I guess she had to
- 20:40Speaker 2: get a surgery on her pelvic floor.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Where was I when this happened. I watched the whole episode.
- 20:47Speaker 2: What they don't know, but I every time I hear it,
- 20:50Speaker 2: I do a kegel. Now, aren't you doing it?
- 20:55Speaker 1: No? I think it's Is it a bad thing.
- 21:00Speaker 2: When you tighten yourself down?
- 21:05Speaker 1: What I'm saying, like, is the pelvic floor being lifted
- 21:09Speaker 1: and tightened such a bad thing?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Well, I think if your public floor is not lifted
- 21:15Speaker 2: and you've had a bunch of kids, I think you
- 21:16Speaker 2: pee your pants. So I think there's a medical reason
- 21:18Speaker 2: why you do it. But then you have to like
- 21:21Speaker 2: stretch out your situation afterwards.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I'm dying right now.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I can't believe you missed this.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna cry. This is such good information. I don't
- 21:34Speaker 1: even know what to do with it.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So if you want to stop having sex, go get
- 21:39Speaker 2: your pelvic floor.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Stop ragging Jen. Enough between the ad photos and the
- 21:46Speaker 1: type vagina. I'm done with you, go away already.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Then the girls separate in two groups to fly. It's Emily, Gina,
- 21:55Speaker 2: Gretchen and Katie. And then oh my gosh.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Then it's Rush carry up. I'm crying.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I know she can't get up. She can't.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring myself back for a minute. You don't
- 22:13Speaker 1: even know.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Then they go along walking along the Mississippi River, which
- 22:17Speaker 2: they don't know is the Mississippi River. If they go
- 22:19Speaker 2: on a boat ride.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Wives to freaking make themselves look stupid, like, guys, come.
- 22:25Speaker 2: On, come on, you don't know where. And somebody's like,
- 22:29Speaker 2: we're at the bayou. And then somebody's like.
- 22:32Speaker 1: We're somebody. Just get it together. Can you give us something? Bows?
- 22:36Speaker 1: I mean, look at Bows came on to Beverly Hills
- 22:39Speaker 1: and she's a rock star. Can we have a little
- 22:41Speaker 1: bit more of that?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah? Come on, I mean, clearly I couldn't do that.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I probably would have made the same error. But still,
- 22:49Speaker 2: but how about read the sign.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm sure there's a sign somewhere that says Mississippi River
- 22:55Speaker 1: on the river, Like, I'm.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Not sure on your little thing that you got of
- 23:00Speaker 2: the day knowing that no one reads, yeah, is your itinerary?
- 23:03Speaker 2: It says go to Mississippi River for a boat boat ride.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And I have a question, did Gret just get her
- 23:10Speaker 2: wisdom teeth removed or something? Because this entire scene when
- 23:13Speaker 2: they're on the boat it sounded like me like I
- 23:15Speaker 2: was like sometimes and I was like, what is happening here?
- 23:22Speaker 2: And then I heard it later and I was like,
- 23:23Speaker 2: does she have a piece of gauze in there?
- 23:25Speaker 1: No, this is weird. Let me just tell you something.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You ever notice like some women get some weird list
- 23:33Speaker 1: going on at this like all of a sudden, like
- 23:35Speaker 1: they hear someone talk and then they want to talk
- 23:37Speaker 1: like them.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah you think they like that kind of the thing,
- 23:41Speaker 2: which it's just really for a second and I was
- 23:44Speaker 2: so confused, so fat, I was really confused. Just tell
- 23:53Speaker 2: me for one second why you had this in your
- 23:57Speaker 2: mouth and why you're filming.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Used to be I used to work in a down
- 24:02Speaker 1: to office that I actually owned, and I just want
- 24:05Speaker 1: to say, like, no one talked like jesh after they
- 24:08Speaker 1: got their wearsdomp teeth. Now, I don't know why you
- 24:12Speaker 1: think it's wet damp cheeth.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I can't wait until she reaches out to me and
- 24:16Speaker 2: that was in her mouth?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Can we ask her?
- 24:20Speaker 2: Because then she went back to normal talking after the dinner.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Maybe she had garment, she spread it.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Out well, gone with some emotion. That's discussing.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I don't know, Oh my gosh.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Then they go to this dinner where this ship show
- 24:48Speaker 2: after ship show happens. They're ordering turtle soup. There's a
- 24:52Speaker 2: ghost they spilled over.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Soup Onheather of all people. You know, I'm so nice
- 24:59Speaker 1: when somebody does that, like I want to make them
- 25:01Speaker 1: feel like I did it to myself. I don't want
- 25:04Speaker 1: to make the guy. Heather was not very gracious about it.
- 25:09Speaker 2: She couldn't make eye contact. She was like, I mean granted,
- 25:13Speaker 2: like give.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Me, like, come on, did you get burnt? Like who cares?
- 25:18Speaker 1: And then who said? Gina was like, oh my god,
- 25:21Speaker 1: it was probably such an expensive dress. Can we stop
- 25:24Speaker 1: talking about her money defining her? I'd really like that, Heather.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I like you this episode. I'm not knocking you, but
- 25:31Speaker 1: I don't want I want it to not always be
- 25:35Speaker 1: about what you have and your things?
- 25:37Speaker 2: And why why isn't there one regular human that can go, hey,
- 25:41Speaker 2: are you sticky? Did it make you sticky? Do you
- 25:44Speaker 2: need a want rag? Like? Do you not want me
- 25:46Speaker 2: to wipe you down? Because it was an espresso martini,
- 25:48Speaker 2: I think, and so it probably was sticky, But like,
- 25:51Speaker 2: where's everybody else's like human nation? Like if I got
- 25:55Speaker 2: spilled all over myself? Instead of this awkward moment of
- 25:58Speaker 2: showing Heather looking like frazzled, which she may or may
- 26:00Speaker 2: not have done the entire time and not been gracious
- 26:03Speaker 2: to the guy, or she could have been like, oh
- 26:05Speaker 2: my gosh, it's no big deal, and one of the
- 26:07Speaker 2: women could have gone over and like cleaned her up
- 26:09Speaker 2: in a nice fashion and been like, oh no, are
- 26:11Speaker 2: you sticky? Should we go to the bathroom? But no
- 26:13Speaker 2: one does. We just get right back into fighting.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah. No, you know what, we could have made it funny.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Somebody could have licked it off of her sons. Come on,
- 26:22Speaker 1: we could have done something with that. When these things happen,
- 26:25Speaker 1: we need to capitalize on them.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Then we get into Shannon talking about her ideal man.
- 26:32Speaker 2: The first thing Heather asks is can he be short?
- 26:34Speaker 2: And immediately they've panned to Emily, and Emily's like.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Terry's lifts. I don't wait, you know, I like it.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I like him. He's nice.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I think he's nice. I don't mind his height. But
- 26:51Speaker 2: also I don't think that Heather was trying to point
- 26:53Speaker 2: out Shane. I think she just met in general, Shannon
- 26:55Speaker 2: is a taller person, like if Shannon. I people think
- 26:59Speaker 2: I'm tall and then they meet me and they're like,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you are very.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Short and you're like five to four right, Yes, me too.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I think Shannon's like probably five seven five A. And
- 27:08Speaker 2: then with heels, that's so that's.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Always Whears, the big Valentino plans. Always, that's her signature.
- 27:14Speaker 2: And so I think Heather was asking because I think
- 27:16Speaker 2: that's something that's come up for Heather because Heather is
- 27:20Speaker 2: also tall, and Terry has to wear lifts, which now
- 27:24Speaker 2: they say are out of business. And by random, Taram
- 27:29Speaker 2: was telling me to buy these lifts sneakers that have
- 27:31Speaker 2: been influencing her on Instagram.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I bought them, Yes, I did. I love them and
- 27:39Speaker 1: I bought them for Paul.
- 27:41Speaker 3: No.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Well, it's tall, but I know they're very light, they're
- 27:46Speaker 1: not cheap, they're like over one hundred dollars. They're like
- 27:50Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty or one hundred and seventy. I
- 27:52Speaker 1: think whatever, it was worth it so worth it. Love Teddy,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I love them.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Then the episode ends where Heather as Emily her
- 28:00Speaker 2: favorite sex position they kind. She likes to say, it's
- 28:03Speaker 2: from behind so she can watch TV and if she
- 28:05Speaker 2: could have snacks she likes to.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm like, Emily, you gotta give it to them. You
- 28:11Speaker 1: gotta give it to them, like we put it all
- 28:14Speaker 1: out there, we really do.
- 28:16Speaker 2: And this is where we learn the tidbit about the
- 28:20Speaker 2: vagina not being big enough anymore after the surgery. Could
- 28:26Speaker 2: you I get a little tattoo right above it that
- 28:30Speaker 2: says ouch.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Nosing, you know.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Like the.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Like this and it says like or you only height
- 28:47Speaker 1: or like when you're going under a bridge and it
- 28:50Speaker 1: says the height thing.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just too good.
- 28:59Speaker 4: But they all managed to get along this episode until
- 29:03Speaker 4: the very end. Of course they better do some and
- 29:06Speaker 4: this is when yeah, because this was a little bit
- 29:09Speaker 4: of a filler episode.
- 29:10Speaker 2: And then next week is when we see in the
- 29:13Speaker 2: trailer that Tamra quits.
- 29:15Speaker 1: This is when this is the pivotal moment of the season.
- 29:20Speaker 1: This is the moment. Like you know, every season, Teddy,
- 29:22Speaker 1: as you know, has to have a moment. Yeah, so
- 29:25Speaker 1: here's the moment. It's coming.
- 29:28Speaker 2: It's coming, and it's gonna be good.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's gonna be good.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Oh well, Delores, I love you. Thank you so much
- 29:35Speaker 2: for joining me on Diamonds and the Rough. You guys
- 29:37Speaker 2: keep tuning in if you go to our stream. You
- 29:40Speaker 2: pretty much got a pod every day and you can
- 29:42Speaker 2: get mad at us all you want, but there's no
- 29:44Speaker 2: need to DMS how you feel. I'm fine about it.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I know you are.
- 29:49Speaker 1: You've never been swayed. I mean, you're consistent.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Thanks guys, great, Thanks guys, talking to you.
