Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:04Speaker 2: We are flying by the seat of our pants right
- 0:06Speaker 2: now in a spur of the moment to get this done.
- 0:12Speaker 1: You get record. I was already saying, let's do it
- 0:17Speaker 1: that I noticed. I said recording and progress like oh so,
- 0:22Speaker 1: so if anybody heard a funny sound at the beginning
- 0:24Speaker 1: of this, you know what that was about. It wasn't it.
- 0:26Speaker 1: You weren't hearing anything like out of body or like
- 0:29Speaker 1: it was me.
- 0:30Speaker 2: It was just you know, accessing that other voice.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's right, I was channeling.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Okay, there you go.
- 0:40Speaker 1: How are you.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Okay? Had a huge project, just finish up. We have
- 0:51Speaker 2: to have to have to do a wrap up meeting
- 0:53Speaker 2: and then then that project is done. It's been a
- 0:58Speaker 2: projecting going on since AGA. So that's a relief. And
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm very grateful that I have learned to have better
- 1:13Speaker 2: organization skills, skills because of all the moving pieces I've
- 1:19Speaker 2: had going on for a while now. So to car
- 1:25Speaker 2: compart compartmentalize. Sometimes when you think about a word and
- 1:30Speaker 2: you can't say it, but when you just say it,
- 1:32Speaker 2: you can say, it's one of those words. Okay. So
- 1:35Speaker 2: compartmentalizing the different things going in on my life and
- 1:39Speaker 2: being able to prioritize each one in their rightful manner.
- 1:47Speaker 2: And yeah, so I've done really well with that over
- 1:51Speaker 2: these past few months. Will since August. So, but five
- 1:55Speaker 2: months things turned out great in my from my perspective
- 2:03Speaker 2: based on where I'm at compared to where I used
- 2:07Speaker 2: to be, and super proud moments that I was able
- 2:11Speaker 2: to facilitate this and oversee this project. It was great,
- 2:18Speaker 2: turned out great.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Everything's great. It's great. It's just great. Everything is grist great.
- 2:26Speaker 2: It's this thing fine, it's fine. So it was all fine.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I would say, it's great, nice, I like it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I like it. I was listening it's I'm processing different things.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I was listening to Kyle Sace Alex far Oh, yeah, I've.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Been watching that and I didn't watch the whole thing. Yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 2: yeah it was. That's so funny, and I.
- 2:47Speaker 1: We it is it is. It's great. I would probably
- 2:51Speaker 1: I would recommend it to everybody to listen to. It's
- 2:54Speaker 1: got humor in it, but it's in a way that
- 2:56Speaker 1: you could understand it and you hear things that are
- 2:59Speaker 1: so different. He talked about how we we we've kind
- 3:05Speaker 1: of put money on a pedestal in a lot of ways,
- 3:07Speaker 1: which is true. We make it so much more bigger
- 3:10Speaker 1: than it is, almost like up there with the soul
- 3:13Speaker 1: and all that kind of stuff, and it's just a
- 3:14Speaker 1: freaking energy. He talked about that kind of stuff, and
- 3:17Speaker 1: he talked about following your passions and how and I've
- 3:20Speaker 1: done it, I've done this. How we'll say things like, man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I wish if I had lots of money right now,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I would just go do this and I would follow
- 3:29Speaker 1: my passions. And he says, you, basically, you're robbing yourself
- 3:33Speaker 1: or you're not allowing yourself. You're you're ripping yourself off
- 3:36Speaker 1: and so many in so many words by not following
- 3:40Speaker 1: those dreams, by not following that passion, because you'll actually
- 3:43Speaker 1: gain more from that passion than you ever would have
- 3:46Speaker 1: imagined that was possible. So it's like we limit ourselves
- 3:49Speaker 1: so much because we think it's not possible. How I
- 3:52Speaker 1: can't afford to do that? And it's like you can't,
- 3:54Speaker 1: you cannot not afford to do it? Like really, I mean,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I don't think if I said that right, But really,
- 4:01Speaker 1: ideally it's to go for it because the universe will
- 4:03Speaker 1: find ways to fulfill you. God will find ways to
- 4:07Speaker 1: fulfill you. You'll always be Everything's always taken care of,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and it's it's when we get sideways on stuff. There's
- 4:15Speaker 1: so much information that's out there these days. My gosh,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I've spent some time on TikTok and it's talking about
- 4:21Speaker 1: these quantum you know, just quantum perspectives, and it's like
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's so huge. You don't know that, you don't know
- 4:29Speaker 1: until you find out you didn't know, you know what
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean about how you can create things and how
- 4:34Speaker 1: were these Yeah, I do believe we're a master manifestor,
- 4:37Speaker 1: but like where do you go from there? And then
- 4:38Speaker 1: it's like finding people. You find people, but they actually
- 4:42Speaker 1: find their way on your path. It's like you're guided
- 4:45Speaker 1: by spirit to go look at it. And maybe that
- 4:47Speaker 1: might have been through TikTok. It might have been going
- 4:50Speaker 1: to the grocery store and you're overhearing a conversation. It
- 4:53Speaker 1: could be so many different things, right. The information always
- 4:56Speaker 1: shows up, and it's like it's just an It's an
- 4:58Speaker 1: awesome place to be because we're used to being in this.
- 5:02Speaker 1: We're used to I'm used to being this. Bev The
- 5:04Speaker 1: wakes up every morning and has the same thing that
- 5:07Speaker 1: happens or the same experiences or whatever, maybe a little
- 5:10Speaker 1: bit different each day. I'm used to I know who
- 5:12Speaker 1: that BEV is, but I don't know what that looks like.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Opposite of that, I don't know what it looks like
- 5:17Speaker 1: to besides seeing in my mind's eye, like when you're creating,
- 5:22Speaker 1: how you see yourself in the world is pretty amazing,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Like do you see yourself standing tall? Are you well dressed?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Are you what are you driving? Are you happy? What
- 5:32Speaker 1: are what's happening for you? Like you walk into the
- 5:34Speaker 1: store and people just hand you a card, Like it's
- 5:37Speaker 1: this whole thing that you kind of create within yourself,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and it feels isn't from a feel good place. It's
- 5:42Speaker 1: not from a feel bad place, because you can create
- 5:45Speaker 1: that way too, but it just does it's not going
- 5:47Speaker 1: to be what you want. It's going to come from
- 5:49Speaker 1: a place of lack or like this energy is not
- 5:52Speaker 1: very good. So it's just there's just so much information
- 5:55Speaker 1: that's out there, and I'm so grateful and thankful for
- 5:58Speaker 1: these applications that we can go look at and that
- 6:04Speaker 1: can bring information to us. And I do it the
- 6:07Speaker 1: same way I would do anything. I'll told someone before,
- 6:10Speaker 1: if I was going to go smoke marijuana, I would
- 6:12Speaker 1: set my intentions to have to meet up with God
- 6:16Speaker 1: or have the biggest you know, whatever whatever I'm looking for.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And I do the same thing if I'm going to
- 6:21Speaker 1: go on the TikTok, I'm like, okay, God, like show
- 6:24Speaker 1: me some good stuff, Like show me some stuff that's
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna light me up. And it's like when you when
- 6:28Speaker 1: you set your intention there, you have those expectations of
- 6:31Speaker 1: that you get lit and not lit in the old
- 6:35Speaker 1: way of like let's have a couple of cocktails, but
- 6:37Speaker 1: how tattie or something. It's not like that. It's so different.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And then it's like recognizing from that space, Oh, I'm
- 6:45Speaker 1: passionate about this, and that's awesome. It's awesome to find
- 6:48Speaker 1: those spaces and it's like, Okay, well I have passion
- 6:51Speaker 1: for that. What do I do with it?
- 6:52Speaker 2: Now? As you were talking, Yeah, a couple things came
- 6:59Speaker 2: to me when you're talking about Kyle sees the I
- 7:04Speaker 2: like the part and I've heard him talk about it
- 7:06Speaker 2: before in some of his content, But that whole idea
- 7:09Speaker 2: of our relationship to money, if money was actually sitting
- 7:13Speaker 2: there with us, and we talked to it the way
- 7:15Speaker 2: we thought about it, like money, no wonder, money would leave,
- 7:19Speaker 2: no wonder, money doesn't show up further, like, bitch, don't
- 7:22Speaker 2: talk to me like that, right because it would leave
- 7:25Speaker 2: because I'd be like, I need more of you.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You're not giving me enough, and you're never enough.
- 7:30Speaker 2: You're never enough, and I always need more. And yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 2: So just like a demanding relationship on money. And so
- 7:38Speaker 2: when we learned to have a more fun relationship or
- 7:45Speaker 2: energy towards money, then it gets better and better. And
- 7:49Speaker 2: I will attest to that because things are happening that
- 7:53Speaker 2: have been a lot of fun. I wrote down a number.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So every twice a month, sit down to pay our
- 8:01Speaker 2: bills and stuff, and every month I write down this
- 8:06Speaker 2: particular number in the thousands, and I'm like, as an
- 8:12Speaker 2: income each month. And every time I write it down,
- 8:17Speaker 2: I put boohoo, we did it right, with big capital
- 8:20Speaker 2: letters and exclamation points, and I put a lot of
- 8:22Speaker 2: excitement in it when I write it. And at this
- 8:27Speaker 2: moment on just for a monthly income between my husband
- 8:30Speaker 2: and I, I am just two hundred dollars shy of
- 8:33Speaker 2: reaching that goal. Nice, so I'm super excited because I
- 8:39Speaker 2: just just before we did this, I just got done
- 8:42Speaker 2: paying our bills for the month, and I'm just like,
- 8:45Speaker 2: this is working. This is And then I thought your
- 8:49Speaker 2: goof why aren't you doing this for your business?
- 8:51Speaker 1: So it's next.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Sometimes I'm a little slow, but I get cat catch on.
- 8:56Speaker 2: So I wrote down a number for a monthly income
- 8:59Speaker 2: for my business and I put it with my paperwork,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and so every time I see that, right, So anyway,
- 9:08Speaker 2: the relationship with money is super important. And yeah, I
- 9:13Speaker 2: will be sharing that that link in my in my
- 9:18Speaker 2: on my social media platform to to have people you know,
- 9:23Speaker 2: watch it. But yeah, he has a great sense of humor,
- 9:27Speaker 2: which was a professional comedian, and his humor in the
- 9:30Speaker 2: way he brings it into the personal development field or
- 9:34Speaker 2: the expansion field, it's just it's a lot of fun
- 9:36Speaker 2: and it's it's it is, it's where you can hear
- 9:39Speaker 2: it and understand it. Yeah. But the other thing I
- 9:43Speaker 2: wanted to talk about was just recently we had a
- 9:47Speaker 2: conversation at work, and it's you have eighty percent of
- 9:53Speaker 2: the you give eighty percent of your attention toward those
- 9:58Speaker 2: who want to be part participants in whatever they want
- 10:04Speaker 2: to get out of their membership with our business. So
- 10:08Speaker 2: you give eighty percent of your effort towards them, it's
- 10:13Speaker 2: eighty percent effort towards the twenty percent that want to participate.
- 10:18Speaker 2: That makes sense. So it's like really dialing in on
- 10:21Speaker 2: where am I giving my time and energy and attention,
- 10:23Speaker 2: because if they have a membership and they're not participating
- 10:28Speaker 2: in several of the modalities that we have to help
- 10:33Speaker 2: them grow and expand their business, then they're not reaping
- 10:37Speaker 2: the benefits of their membership. And then it's a oh, well,
- 10:41Speaker 2: I think I'm going to cancel or and then they
- 10:44Speaker 2: just don't show up or whatever the case may be. Well,
- 10:47Speaker 2: if we're focused on them and the idea that we're
- 10:53Speaker 2: going to lose their membership, but we have this group
- 10:55Speaker 2: what we hear that's really participating and flourishing, Like we
- 10:59Speaker 2: have to decide where do we want to give our
- 11:01Speaker 2: time and energy and what do we want what do
- 11:04Speaker 2: we want to provide them? So then as you were talking,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I was like, okay, so because you said, you know,
- 11:11Speaker 2: in this in this human suit, almost every day is
- 11:16Speaker 2: the same. There becomes a routine. We wake up, we
- 11:19Speaker 2: take shower, we get ready for the day. We have
- 11:21Speaker 2: our coffee, we drive to work, We work our eight, ten,
- 11:25Speaker 2: twelve hours whatever it is, with the same people, and
- 11:30Speaker 2: we have those same feelings towards those people, whatever that
- 11:33Speaker 2: might be. Then we leave work, we go home, we
- 11:37Speaker 2: have dinner, we send for a TV, we have right
- 11:40Speaker 2: that would be probably a mundane type of lifestyle, and
- 11:43Speaker 2: then we wake up and do it all over again. Well, okay,
- 11:47Speaker 2: so if you had eighty percent of that stay the same,
- 11:51Speaker 2: eighty percent of your routine stays the same, but each
- 11:56Speaker 2: day you focused on twenty percent of being different. That
- 12:00Speaker 2: twenty percent could be listening to a podcast of you know,
- 12:04Speaker 2: Alex Ferrari on Next Level, So it could be reading
- 12:07Speaker 2: a book, or it could be spending more time outside.
- 12:11Speaker 2: It could be spending more time moving your body. So
- 12:14Speaker 2: you just took that twenty percent each day and did
- 12:17Speaker 2: something different, then that twenty percent grows and it becomes
- 12:22Speaker 2: your eighty percent, and then the twenty percent you don't
- 12:25Speaker 2: you still want to change, you can change like so
- 12:29Speaker 2: so it was just interesting how that just came to
- 12:31Speaker 2: me as you were talking, like, ooh, that's really good.
- 12:34Speaker 2: If we if we did just keep the eighty percent
- 12:37Speaker 2: that's the same, but we know there's something we want different,
- 12:40Speaker 2: then focus on that twenty percent to help start shifting.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And twenty percent really isn't that much out of your day,
- 12:50Speaker 2: So yeah, that it's that one percent idea too that
- 12:55Speaker 2: you stay your course. But if you make a one
- 12:57Speaker 2: percent adjustment, one person adjustment, then it takes you from
- 13:04Speaker 2: a straight line. It takes you that one percent and
- 13:06Speaker 2: pretty soon that you're just way off over in another
- 13:10Speaker 2: direction doing something else. That just because you gave that
- 13:14Speaker 2: one percent shift.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's cool because I liked how you said all
- 13:21Speaker 1: that too, because it does make sense to me, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: it makes sense. It doesn't have to be overly organized,
- 13:26Speaker 1: but it's being present about where your attention is going to. Really, Yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 1: my dog's in here, one of my dogs, but it's
- 13:36Speaker 1: it's really paying attention to that, and it's it's recognizing
- 13:39Speaker 1: because I've been doing kind of some different stuff. It's
- 13:42Speaker 1: like the last after a group last Sunday, i was like,
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm driving through the orchard and I'm like, I'm going
- 13:47Speaker 1: to do a recording, and so I just did one
- 13:50Speaker 1: on my It's just was a quick thing, but what
- 13:52Speaker 1: I caught myself, So it's like this it's a growing
- 13:54Speaker 1: thing right and sometimes at twenty percent can get kind
- 13:57Speaker 1: of scary. Even though that's a little bit, but it's
- 13:59Speaker 1: like I keep telling people, if you put your shoe on,
- 14:01Speaker 1: always on the right foot, start with your left foot right,
- 14:04Speaker 1: you know that's that's yeah. If you brush your tis
- 14:07Speaker 1: with the right hand, switch over to a left hand
- 14:09Speaker 1: or vice versa, whichever it is. If you always brush
- 14:11Speaker 1: your hair with your right hand, brush it with your
- 14:13Speaker 1: left hand. Like changing things and being because it brings
- 14:17Speaker 1: you more into awareness. Right now, you're more present because
- 14:19Speaker 1: you got to be a little bit more cognizan event
- 14:22Speaker 1: cognizant how you're using that brush with that left hand
- 14:24Speaker 1: or whatever. But it's like, so I did a recording.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I've done a couple of anything, come from a major.
- 14:31Speaker 1: It was stepping out and doing it and then I'm like,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm going to post the video and it's like I
- 14:36Speaker 1: stopped not posting the video because I looked at myself
- 14:39Speaker 1: and I was like, holy hell, like who are you? Like,
- 14:41Speaker 1: who is this person I'm seeing in this in this camera?
- 14:44Speaker 1: And then it's like it was funny because that's when
- 14:46Speaker 1: Kyle Cees came up because he's like, you know, I
- 14:48Speaker 1: thought I had to be. If I had thought I
- 14:50Speaker 1: had to be all these things before I did these
- 14:52Speaker 1: things that the acting and the stuff that he's done,
- 14:56Speaker 1: he would never have made it. It would have screwed everything up.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But he was come out being himself. And so it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: like I got to be myself. And the thing that
- 15:03Speaker 1: got me the most because I was telling Brian, like,
- 15:06Speaker 1: would you just I sent you guys that video? Did
- 15:08Speaker 1: you guys check it out? You know, I just was
- 15:10Speaker 1: looking for your opinion or whatever. And I told her
- 15:13Speaker 1: about what was going on, and I said, yeah, I
- 15:15Speaker 1: just looked so frumpy and I look like this whatever
- 15:19Speaker 1: the things I was saying, some things I was saying
- 15:21Speaker 1: about myself, and she says, you know what I see.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I see my mom. And it's like I got so emotional.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I get emotional every time I hear that, because it's
- 15:29Speaker 1: like it's the truth. Though, it's like we get so
- 15:30Speaker 1: caught up in this this comparing ourselves in the three
- 15:34Speaker 1: D how things should look in order for people to
- 15:37Speaker 1: hear you, And it's like, no, that was my soul
- 15:40Speaker 1: showing up. So I'm going to show up with my soul.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And however the outside package looks that's how the outside
- 15:45Speaker 1: package looks. I'm not going to decorate it. I'm not
- 15:48Speaker 1: going to go do my hair. I'm not going to
- 15:49Speaker 1: go do all these things. Now, I might curl it.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I might figure out a way that makes me feel comfortable.
- 15:54Speaker 1: My hair is growing out. My dad's real stuff. But
- 15:57Speaker 1: it's like it's not being so hard on And it's
- 16:00Speaker 1: like these little things that happen to come up to
- 16:02Speaker 1: trigger you just for you to look at. It's just
- 16:05Speaker 1: for you to feel where that's at. And it's not
- 16:07Speaker 1: to have an attachment to a situation or a person
- 16:10Speaker 1: for these feelings and emotions, but it's to stop for
- 16:13Speaker 1: a second and then just fill that emotion in the body,
- 16:16Speaker 1: like where's it at. Oh, that's where it's at. It's
- 16:19Speaker 1: right at my heart level. Oh, what's at my solar plexus?
- 16:21Speaker 1: And it's like when we start doing that kind of stuff,
- 16:23Speaker 1: then we start doing that same thing with money. Like
- 16:25Speaker 1: when I think about money, if I say, if I
- 16:27Speaker 1: close my eyes and I say the word money, what
- 16:30Speaker 1: do I feel? Do I feel good about me? Don't
- 16:32Speaker 1: I feel I feel like someone sucker punched me in
- 16:34Speaker 1: the solar plexus. So it's like it's processing all that stuff.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It's not I don't have to go looking at experiences,
- 16:40Speaker 1: but it's processing that. Okay, well I feel that. God,
- 16:43Speaker 1: what can I do to change it? What can make
- 16:46Speaker 1: it different so that I can feel good about money
- 16:49Speaker 1: or a relationship or whatever, or having kids or not
- 16:53Speaker 1: having kids or being a grandparent. It's like there's a
- 16:55Speaker 1: million things. Do I take that? Does that? When I
- 16:59Speaker 1: think about doing so and types of jobs? Do I
- 17:01Speaker 1: feel feel? What does that feel like in my body?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Does it feel Do I feel giddy? Do I feel excitement?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Do I feel anxiousness? Do I feel nervous? And it's
- 17:10Speaker 1: like all those things. I don't have to use those words,
- 17:13Speaker 1: but I just feel it in the body. And then
- 17:15Speaker 1: it's like it just dissipates it, it transmutes itself into
- 17:18Speaker 1: something else. And then the next thing you know, you're
- 17:21Speaker 1: doing something that you didn't plan on doing video and
- 17:24Speaker 1: it's like the next day I'm driving through it. I'm like, nope,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm putting it up there. I don't care love me
- 17:29Speaker 1: or leave me. It doesn't matter. If this is my
- 17:31Speaker 1: journey and this is who I where I'm at right now,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and that's all that's what matters, And it's okay because
- 17:38Speaker 1: if I can't be okay in my skin, how can
- 17:39Speaker 1: I expect someone else to be okay and their skin
- 17:41Speaker 1: after watching my stuff?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and it goes along with two for in my case,
- 17:50Speaker 2: for example, leadership, Well, first of all, confidence, it's been
- 17:57Speaker 2: a huge thing for years, are going on that myself,
- 18:02Speaker 2: and so now that I'm feeling a little more confident
- 18:09Speaker 2: in myself now, leadership has become a focus. And I've
- 18:18Speaker 2: been listening to like John Maxwell and of course Ed
- 18:21Speaker 2: my Lett, Tony Robbins and all the all the influencers.
- 18:29Speaker 2: In December. At work, so we do a lot with
- 18:35Speaker 2: our community college here, a lot of collaboration, and they
- 18:40Speaker 2: have a leadership program that they're doing that is a year,
- 18:47Speaker 2: once a week for a year.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's awesome, and.
- 18:53Speaker 2: The three key people at work and where I work
- 18:57Speaker 2: are doing it. So every Tuesday morning we have a
- 19:01Speaker 2: two hour session for this leadership program. So it's like
- 19:05Speaker 2: when you think about those things, like what do you
- 19:08Speaker 2: want focus on it? Not in a lack of mentality,
- 19:12Speaker 2: but wow, it would be great if I had something
- 19:15Speaker 2: where I could actually attend it and it's not costing me.
- 19:19Speaker 2: In fact, I'm getting paid the two hours to sit
- 19:21Speaker 2: there in this class. So it's just kind of like,
- 19:25Speaker 2: this is awesome, right, So having like things are flowing
- 19:32Speaker 2: when the more I'm just open to allowing that process
- 19:36Speaker 2: of receiving because that's been a big issue too for
- 19:40Speaker 2: so many years. I will give and give and give,
- 19:43Speaker 2: but had a very difficult time receiving. And now it's
- 19:50Speaker 2: it's a thank you, thank you for this, whereas before
- 19:56Speaker 2: it would have been a whole worthiness thing. Well I
- 19:58Speaker 2: don't I don't deserve to take this year long class
- 20:02Speaker 2: and not have to pay for it and get paid
- 20:05Speaker 2: to like total guilt. There would have been total guilt
- 20:07Speaker 2: around the whole thing for whatever reason. And now I'm
- 20:11Speaker 2: just like, hey, I manifested this, thank you very much.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I am taking it. I am going to do this right.
- 20:19Speaker 2: So that this overseeing this project that was totally about
- 20:26Speaker 2: leadership because this year I'm a vice president in a
- 20:29Speaker 2: nonprofit organization next year, So overseeing this big project was,
- 20:36Speaker 2: let's say, just a classroom to learn how to be
- 20:41Speaker 2: in the position of president next year. So it's like
- 20:44Speaker 2: a precursor to get yourself used to doing these different
- 20:51Speaker 2: key things in an organization type of experience. So had
- 21:03Speaker 2: I not. And this goes back to that eighty twenty
- 21:06Speaker 2: or that one percent, had I not taken the time
- 21:10Speaker 2: and energy and focus to know, first of all, acknowledge
- 21:15Speaker 2: I need to do something with my confidence because it
- 21:18Speaker 2: is in the toilet like it's swirling around in this shit.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Like nobody's flushed the toilet, yet it's still swirling in there.
- 21:27Speaker 2: And so recognizing that for me to move forward in
- 21:34Speaker 2: a different light of this life, I had to do
- 21:39Speaker 2: something different in myself. And the path that I took
- 21:44Speaker 2: helped me build on that, build my confidence and for anybody.
- 21:49Speaker 2: And I just had this conversation the other day. We
- 21:51Speaker 2: had a we had an evening social with this organization
- 21:54Speaker 2: and with the ladies of the organization, and somebody asked me, well,
- 21:59Speaker 2: what different in you? Because I said, if you would
- 22:04Speaker 2: have known me, like twenty thirty years ago, well you
- 22:08Speaker 2: probably wouldn't know me because I wouldn't be sitting here
- 22:10Speaker 2: with you because this is not be my jam. And
- 22:13Speaker 2: they're like, well, what's changed? So I worked on myself.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I built my confidence. Right, I did something different. If
- 22:24Speaker 2: I was still running that same show, that same routine,
- 22:28Speaker 2: doing the same things that I was doing thirty years ago.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I've said it before. You and I would not be
- 22:37Speaker 2: here together doing these these recordings. I wouldn't be a
- 22:41Speaker 2: vice president of a nonprofit organization. I wouldn't be holding
- 22:46Speaker 2: an executive assistant title at the place of employment I'm at, like,
- 22:51Speaker 2: I wouldn't be having in facilitating classes or workshops like that.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I would have never done this. So it comes down to,
- 23:03Speaker 2: if you don't like something in your life, then what
- 23:06Speaker 2: are you going to do to start changing it? And
- 23:09Speaker 2: it's not, for the most part, probably not going to
- 23:12Speaker 2: happen overnight. People want to People want to lose a
- 23:16Speaker 2: hundred pounds, but they don't want to take the time
- 23:18Speaker 2: to allow that one hundred pounds to dissolve. They want
- 23:21Speaker 2: to take a magic pill and when we be done
- 23:23Speaker 2: with it because they don't want to put in the
- 23:26Speaker 2: time and the energy and the effort. Wow, big things
- 23:31Speaker 2: take time.
- 23:32Speaker 1: So that's just that's also appreciating where you're at right
- 23:36Speaker 1: that moment. It's just appreciation. It's like, for me, it's like,
- 23:40Speaker 1: I can we're having this while we're having this conversation,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm thinking. For me, it's like even having the confidence
- 23:46Speaker 1: to even do a video at all, right, because I
- 23:48Speaker 1: would never have done it before. And then too, it's
- 23:51Speaker 1: like it's just to be whoever I am, just to
- 23:54Speaker 1: allow that flow and not to be not to judge it. Really,
- 23:58Speaker 1: that's there's a lot to a lot to be said
- 24:01Speaker 1: about a lot of that stuff too. It's just it's
- 24:03Speaker 1: part of this. It's a it's a personal journey, and
- 24:06Speaker 1: it's like wherever it takes you, just if you just
- 24:09Speaker 1: like you said that twenty percent, if you decide to
- 24:11Speaker 1: make those changes, the difference, it makes all the difference
- 24:14Speaker 1: in the world because it then it changes. Now you're
- 24:15Speaker 1: open for the next thing. Now you're open for the
- 24:17Speaker 1: next thing. And I'm not I'm not spending time in
- 24:21Speaker 1: it judging it like I was before. It's a totally
- 24:27Speaker 1: different places. It feels different, it feels comfortable. And then
- 24:30Speaker 1: it's like I've done another video and can't for the
- 24:33Speaker 1: life like TikTok's just it gets to ninety six percent
- 24:35Speaker 1: and that's about it. So it's like, okay, so that
- 24:38Speaker 1: means live, So I'll just go live next time and
- 24:40Speaker 1: that and maybe make it a little bit shorter or
- 24:42Speaker 1: whatever whatever, whatever the content is, just to have it
- 24:46Speaker 1: up there. But it's just doing it and it doesn't
- 24:48Speaker 1: matter whatever happens of it. Who freaking cares? Like, who cares?
- 24:53Speaker 1: Nobody cares. But if it reaches one person, then it
- 24:57Speaker 1: makes a difference. If it changed me just by doing it,
- 25:00Speaker 1: it makes the difference. So it's like doing it anyways,
- 25:03Speaker 1: it's just doing it.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's it comes down to it's similar to this,
- 25:07Speaker 2: is it Is it for everybody else? Or is it
- 25:09Speaker 2: for us?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:11Speaker 2: Right, it's exactly that idiot for everybody to see. Or
- 25:15Speaker 2: is it just for me to get out of my
- 25:16Speaker 2: comfort zone and do something different dule and be seen
- 25:21Speaker 2: and use my own face right and get comfortable with that.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's being okay, it's just being your true
- 25:27Speaker 1: authentic self. And so I'm learning what does that look
- 25:30Speaker 1: like for me? And that's kind of the process. That's
- 25:32Speaker 1: the process I'm at right now. That's what it looks
- 25:34Speaker 1: like for me. Walk in the walk and you know,
- 25:37Speaker 1: living the life. And it's funny because I feel like
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'm a little bit behind you on some of the things,
- 25:43Speaker 1: like you were like we do our I've got my
- 25:45Speaker 1: twenty twenty five reading here, and it's like I've got
- 25:47Speaker 1: this month's stuff, and of course this month is appreciation.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Last month was all about God and community on my side,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and this month's about carrying an appreciation and it's and
- 25:57Speaker 1: it's and it's like, it's funny because the affirmation kind
- 26:00Speaker 1: of matches everything kind of matches along with something and
- 26:02Speaker 1: what does my thing say at the top of my
- 26:04Speaker 1: February leap of faith? I got to take the leap
- 26:07Speaker 1: of faith?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Nice I didn't, Ah, Man, I'm like a couple of
- 26:13Speaker 2: days behind here. I did not pull out my February Yet.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I do it every night. If I don't have time
- 26:21Speaker 1: in the morning, I do it in the evening. And
- 26:23Speaker 1: it's it's awesome because even Freeman will be like, did
- 26:25Speaker 1: you journal today? Because sometimes I don't have time in
- 26:28Speaker 1: the morning, and then I'll be on my way to
- 26:29Speaker 1: bed and it's like, shit, I haven't done it yet.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Because that's for me. I'm keeping my word to myself
- 26:35Speaker 1: to make sure that I do this every time, and
- 26:37Speaker 1: whether I channel write or whether I just journal. Sometimes
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm just writing appreciation stuff. That's it, that's all I have.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Or sometimes I'm in a in a in a space
- 26:47Speaker 1: where I'm going through some processing and I'm writing down
- 26:50Speaker 1: like what the f God like what the hell am
- 26:52Speaker 1: I doing here? What's my freaking purpose? How do I
- 26:55Speaker 1: bless the world? And and how how can I show
- 26:58Speaker 1: up best for the world and serve and and and
- 27:00Speaker 1: I might be in a whole crappy crap. There's been
- 27:03Speaker 1: a there. There's a few days I got I got
- 27:05Speaker 1: a documented people, but that I didn't It's like I
- 27:08Speaker 1: had nothing good to say. But I'll tell you what
- 27:10Speaker 1: I feel. I felt lighter afterwards, I felt more peace,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I felt more ease. And it's just not having an
- 27:17Speaker 1: attachment to the outcoming. But it's also not not having
- 27:20Speaker 1: an expectation. Every time that I sit down, I'm in
- 27:22Speaker 1: a channel, right, It just I don't I'm not in
- 27:25Speaker 1: the mood sometimes And this past week I have had
- 27:28Speaker 1: feelings of being more tired. So I feel like I'm
- 27:30Speaker 1: going through more processing, I'm releasing more, I'm receiving more,
- 27:34Speaker 1: all at the same time energetically. So it's like it's
- 27:37Speaker 1: it's honoring it's honoring self.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah, mind us This month is children as teachers nice,
- 27:47Speaker 2: so they remind us to remember our own inner child
- 27:50Speaker 2: and to recognize and heal and he hurts or fears
- 27:52Speaker 2: the child in us has that are with us now
- 27:55Speaker 2: as adults. Children remind us have fun and think outside
- 27:58Speaker 2: of the box.
- 27:58Speaker 1: So nice.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Which is funny because I've been feeling lately a little
- 28:07Speaker 2: bit of giddiness, like, oh, I get to I get it,
- 28:10Speaker 2: we got paid, I get to sit down and do
- 28:12Speaker 2: my I didn't used to feel that way. Trust me.
- 28:15Speaker 2: It was a dreadful thing to sit down and look
- 28:17Speaker 2: at the bills and the checkbook because I knew there
- 28:21Speaker 2: was like not going to be anything left. But I
- 28:24Speaker 2: get giddy about it, and I get it. It's just
- 28:29Speaker 2: been fun. Life has been fun, and it's been such
- 28:32Speaker 2: a joy to have such an incredible different difference, noticing
- 28:38Speaker 2: the difference in me and in my experiences and the
- 28:42Speaker 2: synchronicities and all the things, how they line up, and
- 28:46Speaker 2: how was that? I want? Okay, So I went, I
- 28:48Speaker 2: just saw this real quick, and then we'll we'll wrap
- 28:51Speaker 2: up here quickly. I went to Wally World, and then
- 28:57Speaker 2: I decided to I had to make a phone. So
- 29:00Speaker 2: I sat in my vehicle and I made this phone call. Well,
- 29:03Speaker 2: I put me on hold, and I was like on
- 29:04Speaker 2: hold for a while, and I thought, you know what,
- 29:07Speaker 2: I'll just call him back later. I hung up. Now
- 29:10Speaker 2: mind you, I have to. After I thought about I
- 29:12Speaker 2: was kind of being guided. It was like, don't wait.
- 29:15Speaker 2: So I'm like, yeah, okay, So I hung up. I'm
- 29:19Speaker 2: walking towards Wally World and the friend of mine is
- 29:22Speaker 2: coming out, and I seriously I got within probably six
- 29:27Speaker 2: feet of her before she realized I was standing in
- 29:29Speaker 2: front of her. I was walking right straight towards her
- 29:34Speaker 2: and she and we said are highs and blah blah blah,
- 29:38Speaker 2: and she goes. I knew I was gonna see you
- 29:40Speaker 2: because I saw six two four the other day was
- 29:44Speaker 2: six two four is one of my numbers that I
- 29:45Speaker 2: see a lot, and she knows it. But the whole
- 29:50Speaker 2: synchronicity of it that I decided to go to Wally World,
- 29:54Speaker 2: that I decided to sit in my vehicle and make
- 29:56Speaker 2: that phone call, and then I decided, no, I'm not
- 29:58Speaker 2: gonna wait on hold, I'm gonna go and get my
- 30:00Speaker 2: stuff done. And then as I'm walking in, she's walking out.
- 30:05Speaker 2: And if any of that would have been interrupted, I
- 30:07Speaker 2: wouldn't have seen her. So just the synchronouses like that,
- 30:13Speaker 2: It's just been a lot of fun. So that is
- 30:16Speaker 2: all contributed to me making that one percent change or
- 30:22Speaker 2: focusing on a twenty percent different, something different each day
- 30:28Speaker 2: for that twenty percent to become my eighty percent now,
- 30:31Speaker 2: and then if there's twenty percent that I'm not excited about,
- 30:37Speaker 2: then what am I going to do about it? It
- 30:39Speaker 2: just comes back to me. There's no external stuff about it.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I'm not saying, well, bev if you did this things, no,
- 30:47Speaker 2: I would be happy. If you would know, I would
- 30:51Speaker 2: love you more. No, it's me. My life is going
- 30:57Speaker 2: to be better when I do some thing.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Yes, and so.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, ending to all that would be if you don't
- 31:13Speaker 2: like it, change it, yeah, because it's it's a C word, right,
- 31:21Speaker 2: it's our choice.
- 31:24Speaker 1: But it's like it's recognizing you're the writer, you're the director,
- 31:27Speaker 1: you're the you're you know, you're the publicity, we're all
- 31:30Speaker 1: of the things, and it's totally up to us. It's
- 31:32Speaker 1: not up to another person. And when you recognize that,
- 31:35Speaker 1: that can be scary to some people, but it could
- 31:37Speaker 1: be so empowering and I find it more empowering. Yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I really do. I'm actually going to send you a
- 31:43Speaker 1: TikTok that I listened to with everybody else. Probably won't
- 31:45Speaker 1: have it on here, but it's really she's talking about
- 31:48Speaker 1: the quantums, and she's talking about a lot of this
- 31:50Speaker 1: information and how easy it is to manifest and how
- 31:53Speaker 1: easy it is to create, and she was very she
- 31:57Speaker 1: I liked what she said. I was like almost automat
- 32:00Speaker 1: like I'm gonna go sign up for a class with her?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Does it? But then my mind got it's like no,
- 32:04Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that right now, but I'll
- 32:06Speaker 1: go and check her out because I want to first
- 32:08Speaker 1: check out all of her videos on that and then
- 32:10Speaker 1: just see what she says, because it's just it's it's
- 32:13Speaker 1: for us to stop for a second and check how
- 32:16Speaker 1: does that resonate in my body? How does it feel?
- 32:18Speaker 1: And it felt right? Yeah, it felt right.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I just had a coaching session this morning and I
- 32:25Speaker 2: told her, I said, this is our second session and
- 32:29Speaker 2: I and I have been having her focus on what
- 32:34Speaker 2: does your body feel like when you see this person?
- 32:37Speaker 2: What does your body feel like when you're having these conversations,
- 32:40Speaker 2: What does your body feel like when you're looking in
- 32:43Speaker 2: the mirror right focus on how it is showing up
- 32:47Speaker 2: in the body, because your body will tell you is
- 32:50Speaker 2: it is it feel good or does it not feel good?
- 32:53Speaker 2: And then making adjustments from there.
- 32:55Speaker 1: It's our greatest tool, and it's so underutilized. It was
- 33:01Speaker 1: because I'm utilizing mine that way all the time when
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm listening to someone, Oh I got the goosebumps, or
- 33:06Speaker 1: or oh I don't like the way that felt inside
- 33:08Speaker 1: of me, or do I feel it? Man, Like, I'm
- 33:09Speaker 1: really paying attention to all of it, and then even
- 33:12Speaker 1: paying attention to what do I say? What am I
- 33:14Speaker 1: what's coming out of my mouth? If I'm if I
- 33:17Speaker 1: recommend somebody to go do something, you know, you really
- 33:20Speaker 1: to think about your gut health. I need to think
- 33:22Speaker 1: about my gut health. So it's this whole process. It's
- 33:26Speaker 1: all this it's you don't recognize it unless you stop
- 33:29Speaker 1: to listen to it all the time. So it's almost
- 33:32Speaker 1: as if you're watching yourself from a third party perspective
- 33:35Speaker 1: to gain this information. So I'm almost like outside of myself,
- 33:38Speaker 1: watching myself give out this information. So I'm like, okay, yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: to write that down. Okay, I need to write that
- 33:44Speaker 1: down because it's information that's flowing through us, right.
- 33:47Speaker 2: And you're like, oh, that was important exactly exactly. Social
- 33:54Speaker 2: media and uh well yeah, social media, but especially to
- 34:00Speaker 2: talk tiktoks, videos and there's some things that I'm watching
- 34:03Speaker 2: just to kind of feel out and being informed of
- 34:10Speaker 2: world events right now. Yeah, just to be in the know.
- 34:16Speaker 2: It's not like I get hung up on it and
- 34:18Speaker 2: I need so none of that. But I when I'm
- 34:21Speaker 2: listening to these videos, the chills I get, I'm like,
- 34:27Speaker 2: because I'll go, oh, that sounds good, and the chills
- 34:30Speaker 2: will just like the god bombs, goosebumps, whatever. It's not
- 34:33Speaker 2: chills like I'm cold. It's chills like ooh, that was
- 34:36Speaker 2: like truth, Like they're speaking truth. And that's my indicator
- 34:40Speaker 2: and it usually is for most people that when you
- 34:43Speaker 2: get those those god bumps set somebody speaking truth and
- 34:48Speaker 2: and and when I get that from somebody from from
- 34:51Speaker 2: somebody who's doing videos, I will go follow them because
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, what they're sharing is more on the
- 35:03Speaker 2: this is actual instead of I'm trying to divide.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah, reliable sources, because that's that's what that's our discernment,
- 35:12Speaker 1: that's our that's how we can concern. And I've been
- 35:15Speaker 1: doing the same thing, and that's where I get my information.
- 35:17Speaker 1: A lot of my information I'm getting because I get
- 35:19Speaker 1: it from Freeman as well, because he gets he follows
- 35:21Speaker 1: a lot of the world stuff, and so I'll get
- 35:23Speaker 1: it from him, but I also get it from there.
- 35:24Speaker 1: And it's like I'm excited, Like I'm excited because the
- 35:28Speaker 1: stuff that I keep getting it's exciting.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. I think I think things to be interesting.
- 35:36Speaker 2: It's going to be bumpy, but it's also exciting. So
- 35:40Speaker 2: it's changed, it's changed, and people don't like change and
- 35:43Speaker 2: so but however, uh, in the midst of it, change
- 35:48Speaker 2: can feel very chaotic and uncertain, and we can know
- 35:55Speaker 2: that it can bring me a lot of amazing goodness.
- 35:58Speaker 2: So it's about perspective. So, all right, my friends, a
- 36:06Speaker 2: lot of a lot, a lot a lot of information.
- 36:08Speaker 2: That's one. Yeah, I made a note to to put
- 36:13Speaker 2: in our notes the link to next Level Next Next Level,
- 36:18Speaker 2: so with Kyle Cees and so that they can just
- 36:22Speaker 2: go check that out for themselves and listen to that video.
