- 0:49radio Bret Quincho. Well, hello ladies and
- 1:32gentlemen. My name is Brett Keene and you
- 1:34were watching and listening to GOD TV Radio.
- 1:37I hope you're all having a wonderful blessed day.

- 1:43comments and you can also read the article that's in my
- 1:47descriptions. I'll always have a new article
- 1:51for every video, and you can listen to me on the radio or on
- 1:55Spotify as well as Amazon and 100 other different outlets or
- 2:00more. Just follow the links.
- 2:04I wish I could tell you all that everything's been perfect.
- 2:09Everything's been great as when I took time off away from
- 2:13YouTube and a majority of social media sites.
- 2:19But I've had some downfalls as well as some positive things.
- 2:24But today we're going to focus mostly on the negative,
- 2:28unfortunately, because the negative is pretty big deal.
- 2:32Well, not too long ago my the sister, she ended up as I had
- 2:41said on the radio, he'd married a second husband, got a divorce
- 2:49to her first a guy named Sean, and then ended up hooking up
- 2:54with this guy named Joey. Well, Joey from the get go had
- 2:59some issues. Joey like to drink alcohol all
- 3:04the time and I don't know if he did other kind of drugs.
- 3:10I just know that he was majorly into alcohol.
- 3:14The few times I got to see him in life, he was drinking, drink,
- 3:20drink, drink. Always had a beer in his hand or
- 3:23something, was always drunk. And yeah, however, even with
- 3:31these flaws, even though he was clearly an alcoholic, he was a
- 3:37good man. He was kind, he was decent.
- 3:41He was outspoken, very extroverted type of person, hard
- 3:46worker. You if you knew the guy, he
- 3:52would know that he would make a good friend.
- 3:55He was loyal, he was honest, he was kind, he was good to my
- 4:00sister and he ended up having a third child with my sister and
- 4:09the other two were with her first husband and the the third
- 4:14still a baby. Well, what ended up happening is
- 4:20there was a a time where I didn't talk to my sister for a
- 4:24very long, long time, probably a couple years.
- 4:30She just got on with her life and decided that she didn't
- 4:38really want to associate with not only me, but my brother and
- 4:44everybody else that is related to her.
- 4:47She got into real estate, she got into all kinds of different
- 4:52things and her career took off. She started making a lot of
- 4:57money and she went from a pretty hard poor life.
- 5:01You really, really carrying herself and and going somewhere
- 5:06with herself. And I guess once she hit a
- 5:10certain place in her life, she decided to leave what she refers
- 5:16to as all negative vibes and people behind.
- 5:21Sometimes people do that. Sometimes people get lucky in
- 5:24life or they grab onto an opportunity, and once they get
- 5:30that opportunity, suddenly everybody and everything they
- 5:35cared about before kind of vanishes.
- 5:41Or maybe there's a choice that's made where you just don't want
- 5:45to. You just want to live on an
- 5:48island by yourself, away from everybody, or at least anybody
- 5:54that reminds you of the past or reminds you of what you used to
- 5:58be whenever you're trying to recreate yourself.
- 6:01And so she meets this Joey guy. He's a hard worker.
- 6:07He's making good money. He's got a supportive family.
- 6:10He's got, you know, people behind him.
- 6:15He's a good father. But unfortunately towards the
- 6:20end he started getting in trouble with my sister because
- 6:28she put up with the drinking. She put up with that issue, but
- 6:32then he started getting himself in trouble by putting his son,
- 6:36which is a baby, in the vehicle with him driving while under the
- 6:41influence, which instantly took him from the loving, caring,
- 6:48responsible father who works real hard to a threat to the
- 6:53very existence of the family. I don't think my sister would
- 7:00have pestered him or bothered him.
- 7:03He constantly said my drinking, I'm fine, I'm OK.
- 7:07You know how Alcoholics do it. And he was doing all right, but
- 7:12then he started putting the kid in the car when driving and
- 7:19started putting himself in really bad positions.
- 7:23Though my sister ended up telling him he's got to go
- 7:27unless he goes into rehab and gets himself fixed.
- 7:32You don't want to have nothing to do with them.
- 7:35So what ends up happening is he goes and he lives out in his van
- 7:44for a while, lives with his family for a little while.
- 7:49And the more this is going on, for some reason the family
- 7:52doesn't feel as though he deserved the treatment.
- 7:56And I can understand that because he was a good guy.
- 8:01He was, you know, like I told you, he was loyal, he was kind,
- 8:05he was a good father, except for these issues that started coming
- 8:09up and my sister didn't know what else to do.
- 8:14She couldn't talk to him about it.
- 8:15Being an alcoholic. You can't talk people out of an
- 8:19addiction. I guess there's those rare cases
- 8:26where there's some people they can put down things and go cold
- 8:31Turkey. But he had been drinking since
- 8:33he was young, so the separation continued.
- 8:42And my sister and him talked off and on on the phone.
- 8:47And he didn't keep him away from his son or anything.
- 8:51He could come over anytime he could visit.
- 8:55And apparently towards the end, they were trying to work things
- 9:00out. And, you know, I guess he was
- 9:03saying some of the right things or what she wanted to hear.
- 9:06And it seemed like there might be some kind of compromise made.
- 9:12But something weird happened. He started getting sick, though.
- 9:18He went to the hospital and they told him he had a cold.
- 9:23He kept getting worse. He goes to another hospital,
- 9:26they tell him he's got the flu, goes to another hospital, gets
- 9:31another opinion. And then that very same day, I
- 9:35guess from what I've been told, he things got so bad they ended
- 9:42up having, he went into a kind of, I don't know how to describe
- 9:48it. I'll put it this way, he
- 9:51couldn't breathe on his own, so they needed to hook up all kinds
- 9:55of contraptions to him. My sister describes as well as
- 10:01my father because apparently my dad went with her to see him in
- 10:06his last days. Something was wrong with his
- 10:10immune system. I don't have a lot of
- 10:14information on that and apparently he couldn't fight
- 10:18whatever was happening to him and he ended up dying.
- 10:28He that was it. Well, the suffering and misery
- 10:36didn't stop. Apparently the family of him
- 10:41blamed my sister and they made the dumbbells impossible for her
- 10:48to be able to spend time with him whenever he was alive in the
- 10:54hospital. They wanted to take full
- 10:57guardianship or responsibility and all that.
- 11:01And they also wanted to be the ones that decide, you know,
- 11:04should they pull the plug if it comes down to it.
- 11:07But they didn't have a chance. He just, his body simply gave
- 11:11out, couldn't do it. According to my sister, they
- 11:17ended up having an open casket and he was, whatever it was that
- 11:24he had, it messed him up so bad that it deformed him.
- 11:30It destroyed his eyes. And basically she said that
- 11:35whenever he was in the casket, he didn't look anything like the
- 11:40man that she married. He was just totally pulverized
- 11:44by the condition. I do know that she spoke of him
- 11:52having some kind of black liquid coming out of him and that his
- 11:59eyes, he was in such bad shape, he couldn't even close his own
- 12:03eyes. They had to put something over
- 12:07his face because his, I guess they describe it as his eyes
- 12:13went Milky. You suffered pretty miserable.
- 12:18It was a painful, slow death. I know for a fact that he
- 12:26believed in God and he shared a lot of my politics and views.
- 12:34But like I said, my sister had made the decision that he didn't
- 12:39want people around so I didn't get to know him as much as I
- 12:45would have liked to. I got to know her first husband
- 12:48and he was cool, he was nice, but they had separate type of
- 12:53problems on that issue. So I have tried repeatedly to
- 13:03reach out to my sister and let her know that if she needs to
- 13:07talk or needs some I listen to or needs her Big Brother, I'm
- 13:10here. She did eventually, after a
- 13:14couple months of after the event that happened, finally invited
- 13:20me out to her home and I went out and visited with her and,
- 13:24you know, listen to her talk and the sadness and you know what
- 13:29the future brings for the three children and all that.
- 13:33And I am, although it was sad and miserable, I assumed that we
- 13:41were getting along and that I would be able to be back in her
- 13:45life again. But she she's kind of taken long
- 13:52time periods to get back to me. And whenever I text her or try
- 13:59to call, I can't get through. And if she does respond, the
- 14:04responses are I'm busy, I'm in the middle of something.
- 14:08So that's where I find myself from that I don't know if a
- 14:15connection's going to be made. It feels like the way it was for
- 14:19the last couple of years. So I don't know where we're
- 14:23where we're going with that. I know some people out there,
- 14:33you're probably going to listen to my video and go, bro, why do
- 14:36you share such personal content like this?
- 14:41Why do you why do you make material for this?
- 14:44Well, when I do this, I don't really do it for the listener.
- 14:48This is my way of being able to express myself.
- 14:53My wife, she works all the time and whenever I'm not doing my
- 15:00thing and she's doing her thing it's hard for us to find moments
- 15:05where we can talk about stuff and when we do we spend about
- 15:0810-15 minutes if we have it. I usually try to give my wife
- 15:15her private space so she can play on her computer and her
- 15:18phone and and do her thing because she puts so many hours
- 15:22in. I don't want to absorb all of
- 15:25her time when she could be being entertained or doing something
- 15:31Take her mind off all the aggravation she put up with that
- 15:35day. So that's kind of like where
- 15:39we're at. We're in love with each other
- 15:42and we care about each other. But when you become an older
- 15:44couple, you have to kind of learn to give each other space
- 15:50so you know, person can relax when they get home from work,
- 15:56that kind of thing. Got some other crappy news just
- 16:03recently. My son, he as he's gotten older,
- 16:10he likes to, he works a whole lot over and over and over.
- 16:19And unfortunately me and him have communication issues when I
- 16:24do see him, which isn't very often anymore.
- 16:27We don't have like a problem with each other or anything like
- 16:31that. Just he's become a young man and
- 16:34now he's doing his own thing. And sometimes when kids get
- 16:38older they don't spend as much time with their parents or their
- 16:41family anymore. Don't know why that happens,
- 16:45don't know what the deal is. I come from a family where
- 16:50people didn't want to be around me whenever I was a kid is where
- 16:53my children have two parents that love them and adore them
- 16:57and love to spend every minute we possibly can with our kids
- 17:01because we know life is short, especially with health issues.
- 17:08So when my son does come around and I asked him how he's doing,
- 17:14I asked him, is everything OK? Is your bills paid, that kind of
- 17:17stuff. Yeah, Dad, everything's good.
- 17:20Everything's cool, you know, nothing to worry about.
- 17:27Well yesterday I got a my wife got a call and apparently my
- 17:36son, while he was on his way to work or going home from work,
- 17:43not going to work but leaving work, he was pulled over by the
- 17:48police and apparently he hadn't been paying his insurance and
- 17:54his plates were old. I've told him over and over that
- 18:02he should get a job that's closer to home and I'm always
- 18:06constantly when I get an opportunity, ask him how he's
- 18:10doing financially because if he's in a rut as a father, I'm
- 18:15more than happy to help him out if I can.
- 18:20And but he doesn't tell me anything.
- 18:22He always says everything's fine dad, everything's cool and now
- 18:31his fiance or girlfriend is heading up with my wife.
- 18:41She should be sleeping because she's got to go to work later on
- 18:46today and but instead she's going to be going up and trying
- 18:52to bail my son out of jail. If he would have only said
- 18:59something and told me about the plates, if he had said he was
- 19:03struggling with the insurance, me and my wife would have been
- 19:06more than happy to help him out with that.
- 19:09But he doesn't tell us anything. It's always the last minute.
- 19:15Everything's got to wait until the last minute.
- 19:19A lot of my family members, the the ones that the handful that's
- 19:23still alive, most of my family members are dead, as I've said
- 19:28in prior stuff. But the handful that are still
- 19:31around, they're the type of people where a majority of them
- 19:36don't get a hold of you unless they need something.
- 19:39Unless they need some money or need you to help them with
- 19:42something. They rarely reach out just to
- 19:47ask how are you doing? You know I've missed you.
- 19:51I'd like to talk to you. That kind of thing.
- 19:58It's exhausting spiritually, mentally, emotionally, all that
- 20:03kind of stuff. I've learned my way of dealing
- 20:07with things nowadays is I've become like, it used to break my
- 20:13heart dealing with that kind of with these kind of people
- 20:16whenever I was a young adult and teenager.
- 20:20But as I've gotten older. I do something.
- 20:25I kind of separate myself emotionally from people now.
- 20:30It's like a disconnect where you just always figure everything's
- 20:36going to be worst case scenario no matter what.
- 20:40No matter what you do, no matter what you say, the routine and
- 20:45pattern is always the same. So you just kind of get to a
- 20:48point where you say it is what it is.
- 20:59Boy, oh, boy. It's cold outside today.
- 21:08Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I bet, though.
- 21:14I bet he was scared being told to get out of the vehicle.
- 21:20Put your hands behind your back, have the old cold shackles
- 21:25thrown on and then put in the back of a police car driving
- 21:30away, seeing your vehicle sitting there and being hauled
- 21:35off to you don't know where. Oh man, that sucks.
- 21:47Well. You just got to have faith, I
- 21:54suppose. You just got to deal with the
- 22:01punches when they come, roll with it.
- 22:05You only got a couple choices in life.
- 22:08You either move forward and you deal with what life throws at
- 22:12you. Try to make sure that you've
- 22:15learned from your mistakes and do better next time.
- 22:22It's all you can do. Unfortunately, some people, you
- 22:30know, the story of Joey, he let the mistakes catch up with them.
- 22:39He didn't stop what he was doing.
- 22:40He kept going down that same Rd. and now he has no second chance.
- 22:47It's over, he's gone, he's in the ground.
- 22:54People need to realize whether you have children or family,
- 22:58life is short time will defeat us all.
- 23:07You got to remember that if you have a mom or a dad, you should
- 23:12probably call them every once in a while and tell them you're OK
- 23:16and and be truthful about it. And if you go into trouble,
- 23:20remember your parents know what it's like to be a kid or a young
- 23:24adult and know what it's like to struggle.
- 23:28You're not going to be condemned or judged for it unless you got
- 23:30rotten ass parents. And I think the best suggestion
- 23:38they can give anybody out there is don't get into drugs and
- 23:43don't get into alcohol, especially when you have a
- 23:48child, a baby. He's not going to be able to
- 23:53watch his kid grow up. He's not going to be able to see
- 24:00his kid go somewhere in life. All he had to do was not pick up
- 24:08that first drink, not use it as an escape.
- 24:14It's too late now. Empty words, empty grave.
- 24:27Next time you see your friends or your family, ladies and
- 24:31gentlemen, tell them you love them.
- 24:33Tell them you care about them. Remind them and plead with them
- 24:39to keep in touch. Don't become a stranger.
- 24:44Don't let the time run out. Doesn't matter how young you
- 24:48are. My sister is the youngest
- 24:50sibling. You know, my brother's the
- 24:54medium, and I'm the oldest brother.
- 24:56Joey was a pretty young guy. I don't even think I don't think
- 25:01he even got beyond 30 years old when this happened.
- 25:10All right, Well, God bless and peace be upon all of you.
