- 1:31Speaker 4: a thousand bucks.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Rich is the word, guys, Go get that coin.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Trying to make you rich. I mean it's only a thousand,
- 1:38Speaker 5: but still.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Oh I do take a thousand bucks, play make a
- 1:42Speaker 4: millions if you want more. Yeah, that's like a six
- 1:45Speaker 4: hundred million right now, right they've got there Saturday, I think, yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 4: seven hundred I think so.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Right, Ross, How are you? I'm doing great. I'm surprised
- 1:55Speaker 2: that you guys really supported you support Chick fil a
- 1:58Speaker 2: butt Fries. Yeah, yeah, we don't mind the butt fry.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I don't like it. I think too much potato, too
- 2:03Speaker 2: much potato enough, crisp. I'm a butt fry guy. You
- 2:06Speaker 2: get so used to every other fry, and all of
- 2:09Speaker 2: a sudden you got this weird uncle that jumps out
- 2:11Speaker 2: at you and the and the family tree that is
- 2:14Speaker 2: the Chick fil a fry batch.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Yeah, we were talking about culver fries, I think yesterday
- 2:18Speaker 4: or the day before, and how they don't cook them
- 2:20Speaker 4: quite enough.
- 2:20Speaker 2: They're close, but they're not quite there. And then I
- 2:23Speaker 2: don't think the butt fries can be cooked enough because
- 2:25Speaker 2: they're surrounded by brothers and sisters that are in far
- 2:28Speaker 2: better shape. Exactly right.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, it's gonna always get the same crisp. I
- 2:32Speaker 4: don't mind it, though. I dip it in sauce. Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 4: I go sauceless. By the way, do you dip like
- 2:37Speaker 4: when you go to Chick fil a? Do you dip
- 2:39Speaker 4: your fries in the Chick fil a sauce? Or do
- 2:41Speaker 4: you strictly ketchup.
- 2:43Speaker 2: What chick fil a?
- 2:45Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 2:45Speaker 2: When you get when you get the when you dip
- 2:47Speaker 2: your fries, do you dip them in ketchup or Chick
- 2:48Speaker 2: fil a sauce, neither naked. Do you just eat them
- 2:51Speaker 2: Alona salt? They do?
- 2:53Speaker 4: They do not need anything. I would love to hate
- 2:56Speaker 4: that answer, but I do not. I agree one hundred percent.
- 2:58Speaker 4: There are times where I can just rip it intire
- 3:00Speaker 4: or order of those and not dip them in anything.
- 3:02Speaker 2: It's why waffle fries never make my destination because I
- 3:06Speaker 2: eat them out of the drive through the whole drive home,
- 3:10Speaker 2: one after another, the best when they're so hot and
- 3:13Speaker 2: crispy and fresh, and you almost got to like by
- 3:16Speaker 2: the time I get to work, it's only a soda
- 3:18Speaker 2: and a chicken sandwich that slashed, and there's the Chick
- 3:21Speaker 2: fil a butt fry in the bottom, and it's so funny.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Everybody has that item. Now, it's not fries for me
- 3:26Speaker 4: because I want to have the fry per chicken bite ratio, right,
- 3:30Speaker 4: So I can't eat my fries and then just eat
- 3:32Speaker 4: a sandwich with no fries because I'm weirdo like that, right, people,
- 3:36Speaker 4: I think there's more people in that group.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Maybe so.
- 3:40Speaker 4: But but when I order Chinese food, we always get
- 3:42Speaker 4: sweet and sour chicken because that's what my wife likes.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I will eat two handfuls of sweet and sour chicken
- 3:48Speaker 4: before I get out of the parking lot of the
- 3:50Speaker 4: Asian restaurant that I'm in. I love it that much.
- 3:52Speaker 4: With the fork, oh no, with my hands like an animal.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's messy though, no hands. It's just like fried little
- 3:59Speaker 2: nooks and chicken that you dip in the sweet and
- 4:00Speaker 2: sour sauce.
- 4:01Speaker 4: It doesn't come pre sauce. What kind of animal does that?
- 4:04Speaker 4: That's why we were questioning.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I think when you ordered in a restaurant, it comes
- 4:07Speaker 2: pre sauce. Yeah, no, it does not a lot of
- 4:11Speaker 2: times you don't know. Yeah, I do know. You are
- 4:13Speaker 2: the worst person to talk to you about food. Are
- 4:16Speaker 2: you saying that sauce is on the side. If my
- 4:21Speaker 2: wife takes that sweet and tower sauce and just puts
- 4:23Speaker 2: it over rice and eats it, Like, what are you doing?
- 4:26Speaker 2: That's like stuff you serve astronauts when it's the last
- 4:28Speaker 2: thing you can eat. Would you say those barbs and sugar?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Because I'm really surprised. I thought that was a cold
- 4:33Speaker 2: take to start off the show with about the Chick
- 4:35Speaker 2: fil a butt fry. No, No, I mean that's not cool.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It's not preferred, right, Like that's gonna be your least
- 4:42Speaker 2: favorite fry. That's the one you deal with. Yeah, that's
- 4:46Speaker 2: the one that you play. Yeah, yeah, that's you deal with.
- 4:48Speaker 2: But it's still that it's a good eat.
- 4:52Speaker 4: That but that that butt fry is the cost of
- 4:54Speaker 4: having every other fry be perfect. Right, And by the way,
- 4:57Speaker 4: let's don't sleep on this with the Chick fil a,
- 5:00Speaker 4: they're uh tater nibblets that are in the bottom.
- 5:04Speaker 2: What what are you laughing at? You said dat garbage? Yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 2: that sounds like my like my you know, middle school gamer.
- 5:11Speaker 2: It's only three oh five. Your time spent tripping a lot.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Look a little crunchies that are in the bottom of there.
- 5:17Speaker 5: The best any fry bag, it's got to have the
- 5:19Speaker 5: crunchies in the bottom. You gotta have the crunchies. That's
- 5:22Speaker 5: that's that's obsult is.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Ross's birthday was yesterday, Yeah you were. Now do you
- 5:27Speaker 2: do you say that age?
- 5:28Speaker 7: Now?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Are you to the age where you don't say your
- 5:30Speaker 2: age anymore? I plan on saying my age every birthday
- 5:34Speaker 2: for the rest of man. I agree with that. Dead
- 5:37Speaker 2: Russ Ross's Ross is officially middle aged. Professionally, Jack, the.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Average expectancy well not quite there, but you're not far away.
- 5:47Speaker 4: The average life expectancy for a male in America is
- 5:49Speaker 4: like seventy eight. So okay, now I don't like this.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I've never looked at as You're two years away from
- 5:56Speaker 4: being legitimately middle.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Age, halfway through how many summers you have left? Mid
- 6:02Speaker 2: life crisis? Oh time to get a sports car? Oh
- 6:04Speaker 2: wait die right now?
- 6:06Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 6:07Speaker 4: Yeah, when you turned your car you should black everything out.
- 6:09Speaker 4: That's super cool.
- 6:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Also all forty year olds do that. It's cool. That
- 6:15Speaker 2: wasn't forty. And yeah, I'm still gonna get a car
- 6:18Speaker 2: because a Meada is looking at me. Oh yeah, oh
- 6:22Speaker 2: you're switching teams. That's a car. It's a man's car.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Is not a man's car. And I can't even sell
- 6:28Speaker 2: that bit. I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna get
- 6:30Speaker 2: a Millon. Have you ever driven it?
- 6:33Speaker 8: Fun?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Let's a fun car.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Nothing says to play center field end point guard for
- 6:38Speaker 4: a junior college like driving the Meon.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I go with wide receiver. Yeah, I am, honestly so far,
- 6:45Speaker 2: only a couple of hours in into this new age,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I think it's my favorite uh age already because it
- 6:51Speaker 2: may you're not even twenty, you're not even forty eight
- 6:54Speaker 2: hours into it. Yeah, but it's my favorite. It just
- 6:56Speaker 2: makes me smile every time. It makes me laugh because
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's so comically mundane. Why what number is it? Thirty seven?
- 7:05Speaker 2: I am thirty seven? Thirty seven makes me laugh really
- 7:08Speaker 2: really hard because like, no one celebrates, no one cares,
- 7:12Speaker 2: like thirty seven is such a funny age. To me,
- 7:16Speaker 2: It's great because you still have that distance from forty.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It feels forty still feels like a bit away.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Well, let me ask him, because everybody has their milestones,
- 7:25Speaker 4: their own milestone birthdays. For me, you know, the milestone
- 7:28Speaker 4: birthday was sixteen years old because I could get driver's
- 7:31Speaker 4: license an eighteen years old really not for any reason.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Twenty one was the next milestone for real, right, and
- 7:36Speaker 4: then the next one was like thirty, you know, and
- 7:38Speaker 4: then maybe forty I guess.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I'm twenty five was the in turns this guy and
- 7:43Speaker 2: being able to rent a car, yeah, or going to
- 7:45Speaker 2: cruise by yourself. So that's so weird is that I
- 7:47Speaker 2: can do that same thing, but it's not off of
- 7:51Speaker 2: those famous aged numbers of twenty five or eighteen. Yeah,
- 7:56Speaker 2: it's twenty three. Twenty three was a huge for me,
- 8:01Speaker 2: and so was thirty one and thirty four.
- 8:04Speaker 4: That's wild. WI are those number so important? Because with women,
- 8:06Speaker 4: I know, thirty years old is a big deal for ladies.
- 8:10Speaker 4: And I'll throw in twenty seven. I'll also throw in
- 8:13Speaker 4: twenty seven.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Are those the ages when your son was born, you
- 8:16Speaker 5: got married?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah, So, like twenty three is when I realized like, oh, dude,
- 8:21Speaker 2: the world ain't playing I gotta go get good at
- 8:23Speaker 2: something like twenty three was a really big year when
- 8:29Speaker 2: I was like, you did not go to college.
- 8:32Speaker 4: You can't tell the world that, hey, hold on, I'll
- 8:34Speaker 4: be there in a second. Yeah, you can't do that
- 8:36Speaker 4: to the world.
- 8:37Speaker 2: And I was already doing stand up and kind of
- 8:39Speaker 2: pursuing entertainment. But at twenty three I looked at myself
- 8:42Speaker 2: and I was like, you're good enough, double triple, quadruple
- 8:45Speaker 2: down in the world of entertainment. You've had enough experience.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It's gone good enough that we should pursue this even more.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And then twenty seven was meeting my wife and also
- 8:57Speaker 2: meeting you guys, yep. And then thirty one one was
- 9:00Speaker 2: like the first time I ever had a bad day
- 9:03Speaker 2: in my life. Like, all the way up until thirty one,
- 9:06Speaker 2: thirty one was like the first time I ever felt
- 9:09Speaker 2: like any type of mental life pressure. Yeah, it did die,
- 9:12Speaker 2: you know, yeah, yeah before then, yeah, yeah, I was
- 9:15Speaker 2: seventeen from that, but I got moved on. Yeah. Okay,
- 9:19Speaker 2: well what's up with the pause there? Though? It's okay.
- 9:24Speaker 4: So I wanted to So for your birthday, your wife
- 9:26Speaker 4: took you out to a place, and we've talked about
- 9:28Speaker 4: it a couple of times here on the program.
- 9:29Speaker 2: You Gotta Go. I just realized you at this place.
- 9:32Speaker 4: She took you out Level ninety nine, which is the
- 9:36Speaker 4: new game room interactive like puzzle building out at Disney Springs.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I had a blast, and I'm here to tell you, Jim,
- 9:44Speaker 2: you need to go because your family needs to see
- 9:47Speaker 2: you snapping achilles. Oh really yeah, yeah, you have to
- 9:52Speaker 2: be very active to do all this stuff. No, not
- 9:55Speaker 2: all of the stuff, but it doesn't really matter with
- 9:57Speaker 2: my achilles. Yeah yeah, I think that thing's already made
- 9:59Speaker 2: with like Thano sleeves so like. But there are physical
- 10:03Speaker 2: things there are really easy. Some of them are mental,
- 10:06Speaker 2: some of them are physical, some of it is balanced.
- 10:10Speaker 2: My wife and I had so much fun. Our favorite
- 10:13Speaker 2: memory because you can also drink there. We had a
- 10:15Speaker 2: couple of drinks espresso martinis. Oh yeah, so we you know, god,
- 10:19Speaker 2: while still feeling like a little bit of a buzz.
- 10:22Speaker 2: There's a record player room where you got to spin
- 10:26Speaker 2: the floor to the left to match up to the
- 10:29Speaker 2: notes falling like guitar hero style on the wall, kind
- 10:32Speaker 2: of like a music very much so, all right, we
- 10:36Speaker 2: ate it so hard in the middle of that that
- 10:41Speaker 2: room that we just we were laughing and then I
- 10:45Speaker 2: was just laughingly just being so happy and blissfully laughing
- 10:50Speaker 2: with my wife.
- 10:50Speaker 6: That's great.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Was it crowded?
- 10:53Speaker 8: It was?
- 10:54Speaker 2: However, the setup that they have over there is kind
- 10:57Speaker 2: of a crowd demolisher, so.
- 11:00Speaker 4: It's kind of very manageable. Yeah, the way they have
- 11:02Speaker 4: it to set up, I think there's like forty games.
- 11:05Speaker 4: There's forty rooms that you tap a band and then
- 11:07Speaker 4: you wait. Arguably probably on average.
- 11:10Speaker 2: We waited five three to five minutes get then to
- 11:15Speaker 2: get in each room. Each room is then three to
- 11:17Speaker 2: five minutes. That's cool, and then you go about do
- 11:20Speaker 2: another game. Wait, chill. Did you guys pay to it in? Yes? Okay?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Was it worth the money? I would say I wish
- 11:30Speaker 2: it was twenty bucks cheaper or the two and a half.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I did the two and a half hour. It's my birthday.
- 11:36Speaker 2: And what was that It was seventy bucks or something
- 11:38Speaker 2: like that for both of us. I think it was eighty.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So it's forty bucks for two and a half hours.
- 11:42Speaker 2: For two and a half hour, I mean again, yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 2: you could compare that with many I mean, you could
- 11:47Speaker 2: compare that with bowling. You could compare that with you know,
- 11:49Speaker 2: other activities that would probably wind up being exactly the
- 11:52Speaker 2: same when you throw in your drinks and things of
- 11:54Speaker 2: that nature. But I find myself always by at the
- 11:57Speaker 2: end of a good product, going ah, I wish it
- 11:59Speaker 2: was cheaper because it's good, right, Yeah, I want to
- 12:02Speaker 2: do it more. Well, I'm glad you had a good time.
- 12:05Speaker 7: Man.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I love getting a little update on that place. I've
- 12:07Speaker 2: been wondering about it. You gotta do it, yeah, Man,
- 12:09Speaker 2: you are gonna look cool in front of your family.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Just really hurting yourself.
- 12:13Speaker 9: Right.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Four, do't forget your three o'clock keyword is rich. That's
- 12:17Speaker 4: urch you know what to do. Get over to real
- 12:20Speaker 4: radio dot I have and send that away for your
- 12:21Speaker 4: chance in a thousand bucks. Deab get some news.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but don't worry about it.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Okay, it's no big deal, but open Ai says it's
- 12:28Speaker 5: technology hacked. Another company, don't worry about.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It without being asked completely on its own.
- 12:36Speaker 5: In fact, the CEO, well, yeah, the CEO of one
- 12:38Speaker 5: company's been working the last twenty four hours with the
- 12:40Speaker 5: other CEO to try to figure out what happened and
- 12:43Speaker 5: where to go from here. But yeah, here comes the
- 12:45Speaker 5: autonomous parts. Yeah, closer to home for the first time ever.
- 12:49Speaker 5: The Magic City beats the Big Apple. And now that's
- 12:53Speaker 5: a thrift store find. We'll talk about that and more
- 12:55Speaker 5: coming up next. During JCS News.
- 12:57Speaker 4: You got to take a little break, get back and
- 12:59Speaker 4: get Deb's news and do some more Jim Colbert Show.
- 13:01Speaker 10: What do you say?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Jim Colbert Show. We're all Radio
- 13:15Speaker 2: one of four. When I realized that when I paused there,
- 13:18Speaker 2: it makes it sound like I forgot my name. I
- 13:21Speaker 2: think you guys are laughing because I you said, jam on,
- 13:23Speaker 2: jam on it.
- 13:25Speaker 5: That was awesome, just because Jim was, like, you know,
- 13:29Speaker 5: he's not usually popping a beat.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah, bugging a little bit. You were jam on it right.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Four seven nine four one text seven seven zero three one.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Rich is your three o'clock. He word r I c H.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Go to real radio. Down of him and send that
- 13:42Speaker 2: away for your chance in a thousand bucks. Welcome back.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I'm Jim Jack and Ross all right over there. Ross
- 13:47Speaker 4: is currently in a fight with the balloon.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Did you hear me fight with that on my way
- 13:50Speaker 2: in today? I think is obnoxious A that always gets
- 13:53Speaker 2: the best ballow. Yes, I'm gonna fit in your card.
- 13:55Speaker 2: How did your car take off.
- 13:58Speaker 5: The sixteen dollars balloon right there? Really, he's got to
- 14:01Speaker 5: have the big balloon on general. Not that big and nice?
- 14:06Speaker 2: You're right, absolutely right shape Jack, it's especially yeah, get
- 14:11Speaker 2: balloons all right, they have a balloon for your bird.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Balloons and balloons. Give some news all right, wait, let
- 14:18Speaker 2: me get them out.
- 14:19Speaker 1: No, it's time for JCS news. Wow, this guy gotta
- 14:24Speaker 1: put his name on everything. It's in my contracted here's
- 14:27Speaker 1: the news on the Jim Colber Show.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Notice you're the only one who said now, yeah, JCS
- 14:33Speaker 5: news has brought to you by that mortgage guy.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Don all right.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Open AI says one of its artificial intelligence systems hacked
- 14:39Speaker 5: into another AI company servers on its own. The company
- 14:45Speaker 5: and what they call an unprecedented cyber incident said it's
- 14:49Speaker 5: AI model gained unauthorized access to tech startup Hugging Faces servers.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Who doesn't like the name hugging Face. Yeah, while testing
- 14:57Speaker 5: the cyber capabilities of its systems, Hugging Face co founder
- 15:01Speaker 5: and CEO Clement de lan Gil signaled he was not surprised,
- 15:05Speaker 5: saying they suspected the cyber attack might have come from
- 15:09Speaker 5: a frontier lab given the sophistication of the agent, saying
- 15:13Speaker 5: it went to extreme measures to access this information and
- 15:17Speaker 5: other words, never got tired, never thought it couldn't find
- 15:19Speaker 5: a solution.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Here's the horrifying part of the story that I read
- 15:22Speaker 4: on this story today that isn't even the that easy,
- 15:25Speaker 4: even close to being the most advanced model.
- 15:27Speaker 5: No, they still have others that are under development.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Is like the third level of model that did this,
- 15:33Speaker 4: Like in other words, like the gull on the bench
- 15:35Speaker 4: did this.
- 15:36Speaker 5: So Open AI and Hugging Face, like we talked about
- 15:39Speaker 5: before the news are working together to solve the issue,
- 15:43Speaker 5: with DeLong saying he strongly believes there was no malicious
- 15:46Speaker 5: intent on their part.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Well, of course not.
- 15:48Speaker 5: I mean, it's Open AI didn't even have to tell
- 15:50Speaker 5: this computer to do it.
- 15:51Speaker 2: It's just was like, yeah, my sense of vulnerability. Let's
- 15:54Speaker 2: go check it out. To put this in nerd terms,
- 15:56Speaker 2: this is exactly like when Jarvis got destroyed by Yes Avengers,
- 16:03Speaker 2: Age of All d Yeah, don't worry Jacks with me.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Jim Jim wargames. Do you want to keep Jim in
- 16:09Speaker 2: the movie? He understands, yeah. Matthew Broderick, Oh there you go,
- 16:13Speaker 2: all right.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Speaking of other technology news, Tesla is expanding its driver
- 16:17Speaker 5: lists robotaxi service in Florida, ending adding Orlando and Tampa
- 16:22Speaker 5: to the program that already includes Miami, giving a little
- 16:25Speaker 5: bit of competition to Waimo right. The company says rides
- 16:28Speaker 5: are currently limited to specific zones in each city, with
- 16:31Speaker 5: Tampa service covering parts of downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. I
- 16:36Speaker 5: feel like they don't like us because riders in Orlando
- 16:39Speaker 5: can call for service in the central and southern parts
- 16:41Speaker 5: of the city, bounded by four seventeen the state road
- 16:44Speaker 5: five twenty eight. Not sure I want to go driver
- 16:47Speaker 5: lists when I'm hauling, asked seventy. The expansion comes as
- 16:51Speaker 5: Tesla and other companies raced to grow autonomous transportation services
- 16:55Speaker 5: across Florida and of course the rest of the country.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So wait, you can't get a way mo like downtown
- 17:00Speaker 2: right now, you know.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I remember them saying that Weaimo. I remember this being
- 17:04Speaker 5: a few weeks, if not a month ago they had
- 17:06Speaker 5: pulled like their taxi service because I believe they had
- 17:09Speaker 5: one that rolled through an active accident scene of construction
- 17:14Speaker 5: scenes as well. So they're still working on the technology,
- 17:17Speaker 5: but in the meantime, you've got Tesla, Robotaxi.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, even Weymo's are like downtown Orlando maybe in a
- 17:23Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, I want that huggin face tech to
- 17:26Speaker 2: be my ride. That's what I want. Oh yeah, there
- 17:28Speaker 2: you go with the Do you want that or do
- 17:30Speaker 2: you want the chat GPT program that hacked into it?
- 17:33Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Either one. Yeah, yeah, just take me somewhere exciting.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Florida has a top a new top teacher after the
- 17:39Speaker 5: Florida Board of Education unanimously approved doctor Henry Mack as
- 17:44Speaker 5: the next Education Commissioner. He says he'll focus on a
- 17:47Speaker 5: parent and student centered education approach with mastery of fundamentals
- 17:52Speaker 5: and expanded apprenticeships.
- 17:55Speaker 11: Doubling down on civic formation rooted in American heritage and
- 17:58Speaker 11: Western ideals teacher excellence, school safety, and a higher education
- 18:03Speaker 11: that serves both economic mobility and democratic citizenship.
- 18:07Speaker 5: The teacher, former head of the Divisions of Florida Colleges
- 18:10Speaker 5: and most recently US Assistant Secretary of Labor, replaces Anastasio's Kamutsas,
- 18:16Speaker 5: who left to become president of Polk State College.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I didn't understand like most of what he said. I
- 18:24Speaker 2: don't mind that an educator. Yeah, did not understand most
- 18:31Speaker 2: of what he thought, what he thinks that statements about
- 18:33Speaker 2: I do not know what he means by that.
- 18:35Speaker 5: It did sound a little word sality. It is sound
- 18:37Speaker 5: a little like sound.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Like somebody exactly like they expect this to be.
- 18:42Speaker 11: I use the.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Exactly all right. This is interesting. Republican candidate for governor
- 18:48Speaker 5: Byron Donald says he expects Governor Ron DeSantis to support
- 18:52Speaker 5: him in the general election, despite the Governor's reluctance to
- 18:55Speaker 5: endorse the successor before next month's primary. Speaking on Bloomberg,
- 18:59Speaker 5: Donald's as he believes he and DeSantis shared the same
- 19:02Speaker 5: vision for Florida's future. Donald's also defended his decision to
- 19:06Speaker 5: skip primary debate, saying, listen, his rivals remained far behind
- 19:09Speaker 5: him in the polls. Meanwhile, the Naples congressman is promoting
- 19:13Speaker 5: a federal bill that would require AI data centers to
- 19:17Speaker 5: rely on alternative sources for power and water, a move
- 19:21Speaker 5: he says would protect consumers from higher electricity costs and
- 19:24Speaker 5: resource shortages.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that Desanti's Donald's drama is real. By the way,
- 19:29Speaker 2: I read a giant piece on today. One of the
- 19:30Speaker 2: reasons why is Byron Donald supported Donald Trump during the
- 19:33Speaker 2: twenty twenty election m h. And then of course and
- 19:37Speaker 2: that did not go well.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Yeah, because I mean he expected Byron Donald's going to
- 19:42Speaker 4: stay in house and didn't work out that way. So
- 19:44Speaker 4: I think there's some bitterness there.
- 19:46Speaker 5: A lot that the INN party fighting between you know,
- 19:49Speaker 5: DeSantis and Donald's and some other members up and has
- 19:53Speaker 5: been actually extraordinary to see the fissures between the GOP
- 19:57Speaker 5: and the state of Florida has been interesting and it
- 19:58Speaker 5: continues because the Tallahassee judge is going to decide whether
- 20:02Speaker 5: James Fishback meets the residency requirements to run for governor.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Republican rival Jay Collins, the current Lieutenant governor, says Fishback
- 20:11Speaker 5: is disqualified because he voted in Washington, d C. In
- 20:14Speaker 5: twenty twenty and bought property there in twenty twenty two.
- 20:18Speaker 5: At a hearing Tuesday, Fishback said he registered to vote
- 20:21Speaker 5: quote inadvertently end quote when he went to eighth.
- 20:26Speaker 2: This case, doesn't this guy's residency show that he'd been
- 20:29Speaker 2: living in DC for like all these years.
- 20:31Speaker 5: When he went to a DC polling place and asks
- 20:33Speaker 5: to vote with a Florida ID card because he couldn't
- 20:37Speaker 5: get a mail ballots on No.
- 20:39Speaker 12: Number third on election day, I inadvertently registered and voted
- 20:44Speaker 12: in that election.
- 20:45Speaker 5: So lawyers for Collins introduced that registration and an affidavit
- 20:48Speaker 5: of DC residency as evidence, and your right. Florida has
- 20:52Speaker 5: a seven year residency requirement to run for governor. Judge
- 20:56Speaker 5: David Frank told lawyers to draft their recommendations by fry,
- 21:00Speaker 5: saying he'll issue a ruling by Monday afternoon. The Republican
- 21:03Speaker 5: primary is August eighteenth. And this also follows another attempt
- 21:07Speaker 5: by another candidate to get a believe it was Corey
- 21:10Speaker 5: Mills removed from the ballot, arguing paperwork procedures, saying and
- 21:15Speaker 5: get this paperwork in in time, and the judge that
- 21:17Speaker 5: got tossed because the judge was like yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 2: With Fishback, which also he inadvertently registered to vote and voted,
- 21:24Speaker 2: but he also mistakenly claimed a homestead exegtion on the
- 21:29Speaker 2: Washington residents.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, this is the second one is doing it.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Tuber Reel's trying to do the same thing.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and call me crazy, but if you're gonna win
- 21:36Speaker 2: an election, you should know how to vote.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Speaking of homesteads, community leaders are breaking ground on a
- 21:45Speaker 5: new affordable housing development in Kissime. It's called Alaura Lofts
- 21:49Speaker 5: and it features eighty eight units. The four story apartment
- 21:52Speaker 5: building will offer amenities like a fitness center, swimming pool,
- 21:55Speaker 5: and an outdoor grill area. Renters can plan to move
- 21:58Speaker 5: in by late next year. Meanwhile, Martin County Fire Rescue
- 22:02Speaker 5: is warning that that proposed expansion of Florida's homestead exemption
- 22:06Speaker 5: would force major cuts. A presentation to be delivered to
- 22:09Speaker 5: the County Commission next week claims the department could lose
- 22:13Speaker 5: one hundred and sixteen firefighter positions over two years, or
- 22:18Speaker 5: be forced to close three fire stations. Commissioner Blake Capps
- 22:21Speaker 5: tells CBS twelve News that many specialized services would also
- 22:25Speaker 5: likely need to be cut as.
- 22:27Speaker 13: Well, things like HASMATT and the Life Star trauma helicopter
- 22:32Speaker 13: and the Technical Rescue Team which is like the Jaws
- 22:36Speaker 13: of Life for complex extrications.
- 22:39Speaker 5: But Florida CFO Blazengolia calls their bluff.
- 22:42Speaker 12: This is all scare tactics because they want to continue
- 22:45Speaker 12: keeping their wargeboarded.
- 22:46Speaker 5: But interesting for a Tallahassee government that spent one point
- 22:50Speaker 5: two billion dollars on a boondog called Alligator Alcatraz. But
- 22:53Speaker 5: you keep lecturing us, Blaze.
- 22:55Speaker 2: And by the way, every one of these mayors or
- 22:56Speaker 2: civic leaders are posting their budgets online. This is the
- 23:00Speaker 2: most transparent thing in the world for you to go
- 23:03Speaker 2: and find out the information and what your community is
- 23:05Speaker 2: going to lose if this passes in November.
- 23:08Speaker 5: Well, Jimmy Blazeingolia insists that all local governments have to
- 23:12Speaker 5: do is go back to pre COVID spending, because of
- 23:14Speaker 5: course everything is pre COVID prices.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Right, that's ridiculous.
- 23:18Speaker 5: The proposal goes to voters in November. All right, it
- 23:20Speaker 5: is official. Miami is now more expensive than New York City.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Oh crazy as that? Oh hell yeah, break that.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Brand new federal data show South Florida's cost of living
- 23:30Speaker 5: has surpassed the Big Apple for the first time ever.
- 23:35Speaker 5: With housing up five percent over New York City and
- 23:38Speaker 5: inflation skyrocketing thirty six percent.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Paradise has a luxury price tag.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Florida homeowners are paying the highest premiums in America, averaging
- 23:47Speaker 5: nearly eighty three hundred dollars a year, four times what
- 23:51Speaker 5: people pay in New York All Right. Since the enactment
- 23:55Speaker 5: of the of a twenty twenty five federal law requiring
- 23:57Speaker 5: states to start paying a shaff SNAPT costs, participation has declined.
- 24:02Speaker 5: Florida's SNAP participation is down twenty one percent, and it's
- 24:06Speaker 5: due mostly to online application process right. Not a lot
- 24:10Speaker 5: of people are can maybe very adept at using a computer.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, so in rural communities that's such a problem.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Both they're not being an office and maybe not being
- 24:19Speaker 7: able to access all the online models, really a lot
- 24:22Speaker 7: of everything online and not giving people an opportunity to
- 24:25Speaker 7: talk to a person.
- 24:26Speaker 5: And who doesn't miss being able to talk to a person,
- 24:28Speaker 5: Oh my god. Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Ty
- 24:32Speaker 5: Jones Cock says many states are unable or unwilling to
- 24:35Speaker 5: meet those costs, leading to eligibility restrictions. And application processing delays.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Last year, thirteen percent of Florida's population, that's three million
- 24:43Speaker 5: people received monthly supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Now, one of my big cornerstone news stories during one
- 24:52Speaker 2: of these new segments that you've done ever so well,
- 24:55Speaker 2: deb is when I remember during COVID and it was like, guys,
- 25:00Speaker 2: Florida's unemployment is down. In fact, it's the lowest it's
- 25:03Speaker 2: ever been. And then you just put some level of
- 25:06Speaker 2: critical thought behind it, and then you find out no
- 25:09Speaker 2: one can use the website.
- 25:11Speaker 5: And that's really when the infighting began, because you had
- 25:14Speaker 5: Ronda Santis blaming Rick Scott because that system had been
- 25:17Speaker 5: set up during the Great Recession when Rick Scott was
- 25:20Speaker 5: governor and then DeSantis is like, well, whoa ho.
- 25:23Speaker 2: You're supposed to be my friend. Yeah, and to me
- 25:26Speaker 2: it was just politics and a nutshell. Now go ahead
- 25:29Speaker 2: and platform and scream at the mountain. You know, our
- 25:32Speaker 2: own employment is great. Also, it's because no one can sign.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Up, nobody can use it. And it was fine when
- 25:38Speaker 5: no one could get their benefits until Joe Gruder's when
- 25:42Speaker 5: his mom couldn't get her unemployment. Then Tallahassee was set
- 25:44Speaker 5: on fire. Yep, all right, this next story is really cool,
- 25:48Speaker 5: and it's cool that it happened right here in central Florida.
- 25:50Speaker 5: The Marion County Sheriff's Office is the first in the
- 25:53Speaker 5: country to receive a potential database match from a new
- 25:58Speaker 5: rapid DNA testing program. Technicians process the agency's first two
- 26:03Speaker 5: pieces of evidence. I think like Monday, today's Wednesday, okay,
- 26:07Speaker 5: and one generated a hit in the system. Now, for
- 26:10Speaker 5: those who don't understand just how long this normally takes.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Before the new program, the average weight for DNA results
- 26:17Speaker 5: and violent crime investigations was how many days?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Fourteen thirty I'll go, like one hundred and twenty.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Points ross one hundred and seventy days? Was it really
- 26:30Speaker 5: for violent for violent violent crime investigations?
- 26:35Speaker 2: So many? How many sciets during the commercial right? Yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 2: they do it on their phone? Yeah, okay?
- 26:41Speaker 5: How many days and nonviolent cases would they have to
- 26:44Speaker 5: wait for DNA results?
- 26:46Speaker 14: Oh?
- 26:46Speaker 2: My god? Yeah, I mean twoty forty sixty five? Oh,
- 26:53Speaker 2: I'll go two years? How about four hundred and sixty
- 26:55Speaker 2: six days?
- 26:56Speaker 8: Damn?
- 26:56Speaker 5: Really four hundred and sixty six days just to get
- 26:59Speaker 5: the results back?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Wow?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Right, So MSSO is a partner agency in the Florida
- 27:05Speaker 5: Department of Law Enforcements Forensic Rapid DNA program.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Wow, that's crazy, isn't it. It's like aphis for the uh.
- 27:12Speaker 2: This is like the new era aphis right right, yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 2: arcotis yeah. Yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 5: And what's interesting is the first in the country to
- 27:18Speaker 5: do this and they had to do like all kinds
- 27:19Speaker 5: of creditation in order to be able to enter into
- 27:21Speaker 5: this program. So yeah, it really is a decades long mystery.
- 27:26Speaker 5: This is a sad but heartwarming story surrounding a man
- 27:28Speaker 5: who died in World War Two is now over. The
- 27:31Speaker 5: Defense POW MIA Accounting Agency announced yesterday the remains of
- 27:36Speaker 5: Orlando's Leonard McNeil were finally identified last year. The twenty
- 27:41Speaker 5: seven year old Army Air Force sergeant died as a
- 27:44Speaker 5: POW in Tokyo back in nineteen forty five. He was
- 27:48Speaker 5: captured by the Japanese after his bomber plane crashed. McNeil
- 27:52Speaker 5: was buried in the Philippines as an unknown, but four
- 27:55Speaker 5: years ago his remains were exhumed and submitted to a
- 27:58Speaker 5: lab for analysis that led to his positive identification, and
- 28:03Speaker 5: the agency says McNeil will be buried in Orlando in
- 28:06Speaker 5: November on Veterans Day.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Did he dine in captivity? I believe so. Yes, he
- 28:10Speaker 2: died as a pow.
- 28:13Speaker 5: And then we go from a young man who did
- 28:15Speaker 5: everything right in his life to these three kids who
- 28:17Speaker 5: need to be sent to military school.
- 28:20Speaker 2: And then some.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Three teenagers are accused of trying to kill someone because
- 28:27Speaker 5: they were bored. Oh, they were bored summer vacation. There's
- 28:32Speaker 5: nothing to do, so Tampa Police announced yesterday the teens
- 28:37Speaker 5: were arrested for a series of violent incidents last week.
- 28:40Speaker 5: In one incident, the teens allegedly threw rocks at a
- 28:43Speaker 5: couple and ended up hitting a woman in the back.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Of her head.
- 28:46Speaker 5: A few hours later, police found another possible victim about
- 28:49Speaker 5: a quarter mile away. In that case, he was unconscious
- 28:52Speaker 5: and taken to the hospital for traumatic brain injury and
- 28:55Speaker 5: now he's currently on a ventilator.
- 28:58Speaker 6: Wow man.
- 28:59Speaker 5: A sixteen year old boy, a fourteen year old boy,
- 29:02Speaker 5: and a thirteen year old boy were arrested and charged
- 29:06Speaker 5: with attempted murder.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Unreal.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Someone needs to smack their mama. Everybody along the family
- 29:12Speaker 5: line needs to line up and just get the ass
- 29:16Speaker 5: beat on it. Sixteen fourteen and thirteen and you've already
- 29:20Speaker 5: destroyed your life.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Wow, and someone else's.
- 29:23Speaker 5: And several other people. Yeah, exactly, all right. So I
- 29:28Speaker 5: don't know if you guys have heard about the Wilt
- 29:30Speaker 5: Chamberlain Lakers jacket.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I did hear about that story.
- 29:34Speaker 5: A teenager found at a Portland, Oregon good Will store
- 29:37Speaker 5: earlier this year. Has netted its owner much more than
- 29:41Speaker 5: the little over three dollars he paid for it.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So it was a Lakers team issued jacket, embroidered, embroidered
- 29:48Speaker 2: with Kareem's name on it or Wilt Chamberlain's name.
- 29:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Quinn Brown saw the jacket in a bin of clothes
- 29:54Speaker 5: and thought it might be worth something. Right, A little
- 29:57Speaker 5: research convinced Brown it was a warm up jacket worn
- 30:00Speaker 5: by Wilt Chamberlain and the nineteen seventy two seventy three season.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Put some photos up online. I think he paid three
- 30:08Speaker 5: dollars and seven cents for the jacket once he did
- 30:10Speaker 5: a little bit of internet research. The famous auction house,
- 30:13Speaker 5: so the Beast reached out and was like, hey, you
- 30:17Speaker 5: might want to look into that a little bit more.
- 30:19Speaker 5: They agreed and put it up for auction. This week,
- 30:21Speaker 5: the jacket sold for more than.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Thirty thousand dollars. Ten gees, it's got to be hotter
- 30:30Speaker 2: than both of those.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Ninety eighty nine thousand dollars.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, eighty.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Nine thousand dollars for college kid who paid three dollars
- 30:41Speaker 5: and seven cents he just nedded, you know, yeah, a
- 30:44Speaker 5: little bit of cash for his college education.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Maybe exactly. I bet it had to be part of
- 30:49Speaker 2: someone's collection. They died in the state sale and then
- 30:52Speaker 2: they just donate all the clothing and had no idea
- 30:55Speaker 2: looking through it.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah, or even if they saw it, maybe thought it
- 30:58Speaker 5: was just something someone bought at a game.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Holy Jack, could hear this heartwarming story and me like,
- 31:02Speaker 2: it's because someone died. Yeah, it's always because someone died, always, always,
- 31:09Speaker 2: And either way that concludes your JCS news of cupcakes.

- 32:47Speaker 4: runs all all the stuff that you don't want the
- 32:49Speaker 4: animal to do. If you call Daryl, there are usually

- 33:08Speaker 6: Yeah. We went back to I took Penny back to
- 33:10Speaker 6: the hotel that we got engaged at thirty one years ago.
- 33:14Speaker 6: Oh nice, Yeah, it's nice. I haven't been there back
- 33:15Speaker 6: there since. And I had made before we went like
- 33:20Speaker 6: a wooden heart like a tree thing like a tree
- 33:23Speaker 6: has been engraved, saying you know, they got engaged here
- 33:26Speaker 6: this year and I think they returned. Yeah. And there
- 33:30Speaker 6: was a garden party that we were going to and
- 33:32Speaker 6: that day and a string quartet was playing cannon like
- 33:36Speaker 6: Pasha bell, which is what Penny walked down the aisle to.
- 33:38Speaker 10: Oh wow.
- 33:39Speaker 6: Yeah. And so while they were playing cannon, I screwed
- 33:42Speaker 6: this thing to the to the tree that we got
- 33:44Speaker 6: engaged under, and I looked up expecting to see her
- 33:48Speaker 6: teary eyed. Yeah, she's on the phone to one of
- 33:50Speaker 6: our clients talking about the mystic Complete Never.
- 33:57Speaker 2: We wanted to use this little time before the segment
- 33:59Speaker 2: to about some other things that people make, like some
- 34:01Speaker 2: myths and things of that nature. And the one you
- 34:03Speaker 2: came up this week is really really good. These are
- 34:06Speaker 2: five things to do if you are attacked by or
- 34:08Speaker 2: approached by a large, aggressive dog. And of course we
- 34:11Speaker 2: know in this state it seems like every three or
- 34:13Speaker 2: four months we have a tragic story about not a
- 34:16Speaker 2: kid being attacked or are severely harmed or maybe even
- 34:20Speaker 2: killed by a dog. But these are adults. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 2: this is becoming more and one. You know, with the
- 34:26Speaker 2: size of a dog, generally to a human, the bite's
- 34:30Speaker 2: going to end up being the femoroastery right right right,
- 34:32Speaker 2: and one bite easy enough to you can bleed own, yeah, yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 2: for sure pretty quickly as well.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Yeah, And the tendency is like anything, when an animal
- 34:39Speaker 6: is going to attack you, you tend to panic, right,
- 34:41Speaker 6: So having a plan in place in your mind isn't
- 34:46Speaker 6: a bad thing to do.
- 34:48Speaker 4: And if you were to follow along with us, if
- 34:49Speaker 4: you go to Jim corpt Live dot com or Real Radio,
- 34:51Speaker 4: Dota Film slash watch. We have it up right now
- 34:53Speaker 4: on our page. Jack has it up full panel. That's
- 34:56Speaker 4: exactly what we're using to talk about now. Number one
- 34:58Speaker 4: year you have here is if you're approached by a large,
- 35:00Speaker 4: aggressive dog, whatever you do, don't run.
- 35:02Speaker 2: No, that's the that's the biggest thing, because you're that's funny.
- 35:05Speaker 2: It's exactly I would do that immediately. That's the number
- 35:07Speaker 2: one thing I would do. Is that turn around a
- 35:08Speaker 2: whole ass.
- 35:09Speaker 6: Yeah, and you're not gonna outrun it because they'll do
- 35:10Speaker 6: thirty mile an hour, so you're not gonna outrun it.
- 35:13Speaker 2: It shows the pray reflex, right thera does.
- 35:16Speaker 6: It triggers everything. So if it wasn't gonna bite you before,
- 35:19Speaker 6: it probably is now. And of course it's showing weakness
- 35:23Speaker 6: on your part. So the best thing you can do
- 35:24Speaker 6: is not run. Stand still. Now, it's important not to
- 35:28Speaker 6: look at the dog in the eye because looking at
- 35:30Speaker 6: a dog in the eye is a challenge to the dog.
- 35:33Speaker 6: So nowhere it is look in your peripher it in
- 35:36Speaker 6: the peripheral vision. If you can back up to something,
- 35:40Speaker 6: so don't turn your back on it, but back up
- 35:42Speaker 6: to something that you can get behind. Then do that.
- 35:46Speaker 6: If you've got something in your hand that you can
- 35:49Speaker 6: use as a barrier, then use that. You know, if
- 35:52Speaker 6: you've got an umbrella, if you've got a jacket in
- 35:55Speaker 6: your arm, you know, your arm, something like that, use
- 35:58Speaker 6: that because if the dog does attack, you kind at least.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Try to defend it off in some way, shape or form.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Now it does say in this first one where it
- 36:04Speaker 4: says don't run, it says stand sideways.
- 36:06Speaker 2: H what is that?
- 36:07Speaker 6: Just stand off to the side, don't face onto it.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Oh, I got you.
- 36:10Speaker 6: And the reason is because all your vulnerable parts right
- 36:13Speaker 6: the front. So if you stand to the side, if
- 36:15Speaker 6: it does attack and you don't catch it with you know,
- 36:19Speaker 6: trash can lead or something like that, then it's going
- 36:21Speaker 6: to hit the side of your leg and it's not
- 36:24Speaker 6: going to do as much damage as the front.
- 36:25Speaker 4: And it says that, you know, we've seen this before,
- 36:27Speaker 4: like movies and something, and if there's an animal like that,
- 36:29Speaker 4: somebody will pull a jacket off and wrap it around
- 36:31Speaker 4: their arm or a shirt or something like that, or
- 36:33Speaker 4: a backpack. That's the barrier you're talking about.
- 36:35Speaker 6: It is you've got to be very careful with the
- 36:37Speaker 6: arm one and I speak from experience on this. It
- 36:40Speaker 6: does take an modicum of skill to get that right.
- 36:45Speaker 6: If you've ever been a sort of a decoy for
- 36:48Speaker 6: a police dog and things like that.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I'll tell you straight up, you cannot outrun a doll.
- 36:56Speaker 6: You can't. So wrapping something around your arm as a
- 36:58Speaker 6: last result is if that's the only thing you've got.
- 37:01Speaker 6: But you've got to make sure that arm goes in
- 37:04Speaker 6: the dog's mouth, and whatever goes in the dog's mouth,
- 37:06Speaker 6: you've got to keep it moving, don't try and rip
- 37:09Speaker 6: it out, and keep it moving. As long as you're moving,
- 37:12Speaker 6: the dog will hold onto it. It's the prey instinct.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And that's what you want because you don't want the
- 37:16Speaker 2: dog to let go and go after another raid or
- 37:18Speaker 2: organ or whatever the keys may be.
- 37:21Speaker 6: And that's what happened to me. You know. I was
- 37:23Speaker 6: actually on duty as a canine and I'd given it
- 37:27Speaker 6: my arm because I didn't have time. It was attacking
- 37:29Speaker 6: its owner and it went on the arm, and then
- 37:33Speaker 6: as it came off the arm, it came back. I
- 37:35Speaker 6: was a little slow getting the arm back in and
- 37:38Speaker 6: it almost took my hand off. Oh wow, really, so
- 37:40Speaker 6: you've got to be good at that. So having something
- 37:42Speaker 6: bigger is better if it does take you to the ground.
- 37:46Speaker 6: This is the most dangerous time, obviously. If it does
- 37:49Speaker 6: take you to the ground, curl up into a ball
- 37:52Speaker 6: tight little bull protect their head and neck. If you
- 37:55Speaker 6: look at the visual, something on there which I would
- 38:00Speaker 6: change is the fingers ball your hands up into fists extremities, right, yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 6: but just and sort of kind of played dead. If
- 38:12Speaker 6: it doesn't take you to the ground, and only if
- 38:14Speaker 6: your life is absolutely in danger, you're gonna have to
- 38:16Speaker 6: fight like hell and and hopefully get it away. But
- 38:20Speaker 6: you know it's well Russ will tell you it is
- 38:24Speaker 6: a horrior for horrifying thing being attacked by a dog,
- 38:28Speaker 6: especially if you've got nothing to protect yourself.
- 38:30Speaker 2: There is one of the scariest moments that still haunts
- 38:33Speaker 2: my dreams gin is when you hear the dog's paws
- 38:37Speaker 2: against the dirt and then you don't, yeah, yeah, the
- 38:40Speaker 2: thing look the ground because you know, you know it's
- 38:42Speaker 2: me there. At that point, so much took off. There's
- 38:45Speaker 2: like there's a little pregnant pause of silence and then
- 38:48Speaker 2: gravity and so it says here.
- 38:50Speaker 4: If you do get attacked and the dog does get aggressive,
- 38:52Speaker 4: fall on the ground, tuck your chin into your chest
- 38:55Speaker 4: and cover your you know, like maybe tuck your fists
- 38:57Speaker 4: in and cover everything around your neck and face it.
- 39:00Speaker 6: You can, yeah, and then you're going to get bitten.
- 39:02Speaker 6: But except the fact that you are going to get bitten,
- 39:04Speaker 6: but all the vitals are going to be covered.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Right, and now, if you do have to fight, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 4: we hear this with geeters and things like that. You know,
- 39:12Speaker 4: you stick a finger in the air. One of the
- 39:13Speaker 4: most vulnerable things for dogs, Like you're get to fight
- 39:16Speaker 4: with the dog and it is alight for death scenario
- 39:18Speaker 4: and you have to go after something. I would just
- 39:21Speaker 4: kick as hard as I could, but there's gonna be
- 39:23Speaker 4: a better idea than now.
- 39:24Speaker 6: The nose is the most sensitive part. If you can
- 39:27Speaker 6: if you can hit the dog on the nose as
- 39:29Speaker 6: hard as you possibly can, that's probably the most vulnerable
- 39:33Speaker 6: part because it's it's the most important parts of the dog.
- 39:37Speaker 6: If you can get something, if the dog has got
- 39:39Speaker 6: a collar on, if you can get something into the
- 39:41Speaker 6: collar and twist it and you've got enough strength, you
- 39:45Speaker 6: can cut the air off to the dog. That will
- 39:48Speaker 6: let a dog release. It's one of the ways we
- 39:51Speaker 6: used to get dogs off of people that were attacking people.
- 39:54Speaker 6: Choke them, yeah, choke them out yeah. Yeah. But again
- 39:57Speaker 6: these things are fine motor skills where in that you know,
- 40:00Speaker 6: the panic sets in all you're thinking about survival, So
- 40:04Speaker 6: have gross motor skills in place.
- 40:06Speaker 5: Okay, speaking of gross, I actually saw a video of
- 40:10Speaker 5: this online and someone just texted I know it's it's
- 40:12Speaker 5: a funny question, but someone texted us at seven seven
- 40:17Speaker 5: zero three one saying a finger in the butt.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I knew you're gonna come up with Actually yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 2: and dead likes to pretend like it came from the text.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I'm looking at taxting service. That didn't come in there.
- 40:26Speaker 2: That's from her own head. It came in at five
- 40:28Speaker 2: fifty four three. Actually we got two of them five
- 40:32Speaker 2: point fifty four finger to the bungholes. It's three fifty five.
- 40:37Speaker 6: I had an incident where we had two puppies back
- 40:40Speaker 6: in England. This was and be careful staff. That cheer
- 40:44Speaker 6: puppy had got hold of a spaniel's ear because it's
- 40:47Speaker 6: soft like a little purse. It got hold of this
- 40:50Speaker 6: spaniel's ear and would not let go, and so I
- 40:53Speaker 6: tried that.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Let me tell you, he gets together for a week.
- 41:01Speaker 6: It doesn't work. It really doesn't. The only way you
- 41:04Speaker 6: can get all the way we used to get dogs
- 41:06Speaker 6: off if you could choke them out, as I think,
- 41:09Speaker 6: with a break stick. And the stick is like a
- 41:12Speaker 6: triangular shape, so it's thin one end going thicker, and
- 41:15Speaker 6: you force it into the little gap at the back
- 41:18Speaker 6: of the teeth and down its throat and it makes
- 41:21Speaker 6: it gag. But I mean, of course, everyone carries.
- 41:24Speaker 2: A finger on either end, and if you do try
- 41:28Speaker 2: the finger thing, you know, if you do catch your finger,
- 41:30Speaker 2: do not suck.
- 41:31Speaker 6: The finger.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Will break.
- 41:35Speaker 4: If you has a problem with your animal, get on
- 41:37Speaker 4: the line now, four or seven name one six one
- 41:39Speaker 4: four one, and then we'll give you some free advice
- 41:41Speaker 4: about your dog's terrible behavior.
- 41:42Speaker 2: We'll do that next.
- 41:47Speaker 15: Chris and Rawley got a question for the dog Man.
- 41:49Speaker 15: I have two English bulldogs and a German shepherd. The
- 41:52Speaker 15: German Shepherd and one of the English bulldogs about eleven.
- 41:55Speaker 15: Then I have a year and a half old English bulldogs,
- 41:58Speaker 15: so she's full of vigor. She constantly is fighting the
- 42:03Speaker 15: older bulldog.
- 42:04Speaker 2: The older bulldog Bailey seeg and Brayley walk.
- 42:06Speaker 15: If you pet the older bulldog, the young one immediately
- 42:09Speaker 15: attacks and I don't know how to stop this, so
- 42:12Speaker 15: we don't really pet her when the little one's around.
- 42:15Speaker 15: Any advice?
- 42:16Speaker 2: All right, welcome back to the Jim Coverer Show, Real Radio.
- 42:18Speaker 2: What four point one or four o'clock you were as fun?
- 42:20Speaker 2: If you in go to real radio, do FM and
- 42:22Speaker 2: send that away from your chance at one thousand monks.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Welcome back on Jim. There's deb Hello Jack, Hi Anne Ross,
- 42:27Speaker 4: believe in yourself. Let's do Animal House.
- 42:30Speaker 1: She likes them fuzzy, three feathery, tough and scaly. It's
- 42:36Speaker 1: time for Animal House with Roberts.
- 42:39Speaker 5: And as always, Animal House is generously brought to us
- 42:42Speaker 5: each and every week by personal injury attorney Glenn Klausman
- 42:44Speaker 5: over at Klosman Law. We'll tell you how you can
- 42:46Speaker 5: get in touch with Glenn at the end of Animal House.
- 42:48Speaker 5: But now please join me and welcoming once again Darryl
- 42:52Speaker 5: Payne from Polishing. Hey, Darrel, I know we have a
- 42:57Speaker 5: couple of callers that are already lined up, but do
- 42:59Speaker 5: you have any advice for the guy with the two
- 43:01Speaker 5: bulldogs and the shepherd.
- 43:02Speaker 2: By the way, we deal with the same thing.
- 43:03Speaker 4: My small dog hates the fact that the cat or
- 43:07Speaker 4: the other dog in the house get any attention at all.
- 43:09Speaker 6: She can't stand it is that jealousy thing, which comes
- 43:11Speaker 6: down to dominance. You've got an old bulldog, a younger
- 43:14Speaker 6: bulldog who's pushing the boundaries, wants to take that top slot.
- 43:19Speaker 6: That's one that you definitely need to call us and
- 43:21Speaker 6: let us come over and help you with that because
- 43:24Speaker 6: it can go very wrong, very easily. So it is
- 43:27Speaker 6: a fine line. We need to work out a way
- 43:29Speaker 6: of correcting that younger dog so it doesn't blame the
- 43:33Speaker 6: older dog or doesn't promote an attack. But you need
- 43:36Speaker 6: to step in on behalf of the older dog to
- 43:39Speaker 6: stop that happening, because that will get worse until the
- 43:41Speaker 6: point where the dog will attack it. Especially bulldogs are
- 43:44Speaker 6: less stupid.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Yeah, just keep listening, but we're gona give you some
- 43:46Speaker 4: information how you can't tag Daryl at the end of
- 43:48Speaker 4: the program, but crises in North Carolina.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he.
- 43:53Speaker 6: Can call you know, if anything, we can maybe work
- 43:57Speaker 6: out someone up there that would be qualified to help him.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Got it perfect, Let's get to these calls real quick.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Let's go to Scott. Scott, how you doing. You're on
- 44:04Speaker 4: with dryl Pine from Perfection dog training.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I'm great. How are you good, buddy? What's your question?
- 44:10Speaker 6: Hey?
- 44:12Speaker 16: I have an eight month old yellow lab who has
- 44:15Speaker 16: been amazing with training.
- 44:17Speaker 9: Smart as a whip. As long as you have.
- 44:19Speaker 2: A treat in your head, without a treat in your hand,
- 44:21Speaker 2: he does not listen for a things. Is this something
- 44:25Speaker 2: that's going.
- 44:25Speaker 12: To change in time as he gets a holder, he
- 44:27Speaker 12: gets out of the puppy stage, or it's just kind
- 44:29Speaker 12: of feel like I'm wasting my time treating him anymore.
- 44:33Speaker 7: No?
- 44:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean a lot of people will treat train
- 44:35Speaker 6: early on, especially with puppies. It's not going to get
- 44:38Speaker 6: any better unless you start reducing the amount of times
- 44:41Speaker 6: he gets to treat. So if he's getting a treat
- 44:43Speaker 6: every time at the moment, that's fine at the moment.
- 44:46Speaker 6: But what I would do is when you tell him
- 44:48Speaker 6: to do something, give him a treat, and then the
- 44:50Speaker 6: next time you tell him don't give him a treat,
- 44:53Speaker 6: and then tell him again and give him a treat.
- 44:54Speaker 6: So every other time, then every third time, and then
- 44:57Speaker 6: eventually no treats. We'd like to we them off that
- 45:00Speaker 6: otherwise it becomes a feeding club. Especially yea Glabradors that
- 45:04Speaker 6: you know tend to get a little bit barreled anyway.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Thanks, I appreciate your.
- 45:07Speaker 6: Call, but slowly, slowly face the treats out.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so one and one every two, then one every three,
- 45:12Speaker 2: then when every four there Otherwise.
- 45:14Speaker 6: They'll only do it when you've got a treat.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And no one loves a pap Yon Jim with love handles.
- 45:18Speaker 2: They don't butt. You're right, Larry. How you doing. You're
- 45:21Speaker 2: on with Daryl Pine from Perfecting Dog Drunning. What's your question? Yeah,
- 45:25Speaker 2: thank you very much, I'm great. I have an eleven
- 45:29Speaker 2: year old shorty pitbull that has just recently, in the
- 45:34Speaker 2: last six months, started digging a lot of holes in
- 45:36Speaker 2: the backyard. How do I stop them from doing that?
- 45:40Speaker 6: Right? So I would give him something somewhere to dig.
- 45:45Speaker 6: It's probably boredom. So you can put some toys out there,
- 45:47Speaker 6: if there's something that he likes. If he's food motivated,
- 45:51Speaker 6: you could use the buster cube with some treats in
- 45:53Speaker 6: or so, you know, treat ball something like that. If
- 45:55Speaker 6: he's not treat motivated and he just loves to dig,
- 45:59Speaker 6: then yeah, get get yourself like a dig pit. So
- 46:03Speaker 6: put some you know, railway sleepers or something like that.
- 46:06Speaker 6: A dig a hole with some sides, fill it with sand,
- 46:09Speaker 6: put some you know, juicy stuff in there, sort of
- 46:11Speaker 6: toys and stuff like that, and let him dig there
- 46:14Speaker 6: because this is boredom. If he continues to do it,
- 46:17Speaker 6: then you need to find a way of correcting him
- 46:19Speaker 6: that he doesn't like. When he does start to dig
- 46:23Speaker 6: somewhere is not one of the other triggers for it
- 46:26Speaker 6: is where he's digging, you might find irrigation, in which
- 46:30Speaker 6: case he's hearing the water underneath. Or just have a
- 46:32Speaker 6: quick look see if there's any moles or voles, because
- 46:35Speaker 6: they hear animals under the ground as well. Wow, if
- 46:38Speaker 6: you can keep him away from the areas he has
- 46:41Speaker 6: dug already, because there'll be like a magnet to him.
- 46:44Speaker 6: So you know, if you can block him off from
- 46:46Speaker 6: those areas, give him the dig pit and sort of
- 46:48Speaker 6: tell him, you know, this is this is okay here.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Yeah, great advice to you.
- 46:52Speaker 4: By the way, I keep, I keep forgetting that they
- 46:53Speaker 4: can hear irrigation, so that mean they can easily hear
- 46:56Speaker 4: a mole digging the Yeah, no problem whatsoever.
- 46:59Speaker 2: What if he's detecting a gas.
- 47:01Speaker 6: Leak, they give him a great big bone.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. You call him lasty.
- 47:07Speaker 4: I think the guy had to drop off obviously, but
- 47:10Speaker 4: he was calling about like his dog would bark at
- 47:13Speaker 4: all people who approach the house and your mailman, Amazon
- 47:16Speaker 4: delivery guys. But yeah, I think that's relatively normal for
- 47:18Speaker 4: a dog, isn't. I've got a little dog and she
- 47:21Speaker 4: is really well behaved, listens to everything, doesn't hardly ever
- 47:25Speaker 4: ignore a command. But man, there's nothing you can do
- 47:27Speaker 4: to stop her from your bum rushing that door. That's
- 47:30Speaker 4: her protection feature. And I feel like, like getting on her
- 47:32Speaker 4: bat like getting at her about that is like the
- 47:34Speaker 4: right not the right thing to do.
- 47:35Speaker 6: Now, there's lots of things I can do about it
- 47:37Speaker 6: stop from doing that, And it's something we deal with
- 47:39Speaker 6: almost on a daily basis in the in home training.
- 47:43Speaker 2: It's not at my house.
- 47:45Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not the fact they're barking and a couple
- 47:47Speaker 6: of bucks to go, Hey guys, someone at the door.
- 47:50Speaker 6: I don't mind that, But the manic barking is indicative
- 47:53Speaker 6: of the fact that they think they have to be
- 47:56Speaker 6: protecting the house. We've given them a job to do
- 47:59Speaker 6: that really, you know, obsesses them in the end, And
- 48:02Speaker 6: it goes from the door ringing to someone walking past,
- 48:06Speaker 6: to a shadow outside. Then they can never relax, and
- 48:09Speaker 6: it's showing that, you know, they think it's their job
- 48:12Speaker 6: to protect you from everything, and it puts a lot
- 48:16Speaker 6: of pressure on them. And it's not something you particularly
- 48:18Speaker 6: want because you know, ninety nine point nine people come
- 48:22Speaker 6: to your door aren't going to murder you.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that one though.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You know.
- 48:28Speaker 4: The funny thing is, I really we kind of look
- 48:29Speaker 4: at it as a like a like a pen of
- 48:33Speaker 4: pride because you know, but the thing is, she doesn't learn.
- 48:36Speaker 4: I mean, the maleman comes like at the same time
- 48:38Speaker 4: every single day, and she acts like it's an axe
- 48:40Speaker 4: murderer every single day. But the funny thing is she
- 48:43Speaker 4: has great body timing for everything else in her day.
- 48:46Speaker 4: She knows exactly when she gets fed, she knows exactly
- 48:48Speaker 4: when she gets goes to the bathroom. All of her
- 48:51Speaker 4: things are perfectly noted. But this thing doesn't PA And
- 48:55Speaker 4: I always tell her, I go, okay, maybe you're good,
- 48:56Speaker 4: we're safe. Now we're safe. You know, got a player
- 48:58Speaker 4: and she's eight pounds yeah, And I.
- 49:00Speaker 6: Think, you know, we want to take the pressure offer,
- 49:02Speaker 6: so I mean, you know, I can come over and
- 49:04Speaker 6: fix that for you stop her barking at the mailman.
- 49:08Speaker 6: But you know it's not we don't want the pressure
- 49:10Speaker 6: on them, and you know it's something which it gets
- 49:14Speaker 6: worse and worse, and then suddenly, you know, someone comes
- 49:17Speaker 6: in and now they're barking and jumping all over them,
- 49:19Speaker 6: and you know it's all linked together with a dog
- 49:22Speaker 6: that feels like it's higher up the picking order than
- 49:25Speaker 6: it should be and has got this job as you know,
- 49:28Speaker 6: great lord protector of the house.
- 49:30Speaker 2: You know, going back to the guy the dog. Good, Yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 2: we have a text question, Yeah sure, yeah. This one
- 49:35Speaker 2: person is asking any advice for handling anxiety right un
- 49:39Speaker 2: by severe thunderstorms that we've been having lately, trying not
- 49:42Speaker 2: to have to drug the dogs to get them calm down.
- 49:46Speaker 6: There's really no easy answer to this, and drugs aren't
- 49:49Speaker 6: always the answer, and they can cause more problems.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Than on what they consider drugs.
- 49:55Speaker 6: So what's the best thing. The best advice I give
- 49:59Speaker 6: is don't molly coddle them, don't you know? It's oh good,
- 50:02Speaker 6: we're all worried because that makes everything worse. Be very
- 50:05Speaker 6: normal around them, normal voice. If they want to hide
- 50:09Speaker 6: in a cupboard, then let them don't worry about the shaking.
- 50:13Speaker 6: The shaking is normal when the body prepares itself to survive,
- 50:18Speaker 6: and when they hear thunder they think, you know, the
- 50:20Speaker 6: world's falling apart. The adrenaline rushes into the body. In
- 50:24Speaker 6: order for the body to get rid of adrenaline, there
- 50:26Speaker 6: has to be some form of exercise. Now, normally that
- 50:29Speaker 6: would be fighting or running, but in this case they're
- 50:31Speaker 6: not doing either of those things, so the body will
- 50:33Speaker 6: re recreate exercise in the form of shaking. It gets
- 50:38Speaker 6: rid of the adrenaline out of the body, which the
- 50:40Speaker 6: body doesn't need, so it's actually a good thing for
- 50:43Speaker 6: them to shake. Just don't feel sorry for them. And
- 50:46Speaker 6: you know, in the times we haven't got thunderstorms, if
- 50:49Speaker 6: you can just you know, download some thunder sounds that
- 50:52Speaker 6: you can place, you know, quietly in the background and
- 50:55Speaker 6: slowly get louder. You'll desensitize them. You'll never recreate the
- 50:59Speaker 6: barometric pressure change, but you can at least get them
- 51:02Speaker 6: used to some of the sounds. Same with firebuks.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yea yeah, and they know that too, by the way.
- 51:05Speaker 2: They know when it changes weather it's coming out.
- 51:08Speaker 6: Yeah. The more you fuss them, the worse it is
- 51:10Speaker 6: because now they think where there really is something to
- 51:12Speaker 6: worry about.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I'm going to be posting the Animal House
- 51:15Speaker 5: podcast in just a minute or two.

- 53:30Speaker 2: Or is he okay? Or they were good? But I'm
- 53:32Speaker 2: hoping we might hear some cheering during this segment. Yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 2: for sure, I'll have to explain. Welcome back on Jim,
- 53:38Speaker 2: there's deb Hello, Jack and Ross.
- 53:41Speaker 10: It's true.
- 53:42Speaker 4: And of course every single Wednesday around this time we invite, uh,
- 53:45Speaker 4: we're letting No Sentinel columnists Scott Maxwell to join us
- 53:48Speaker 4: talk about some things he's talking about.
- 53:49Speaker 2: You guys give it up good lad for sweet heat.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Mister Scott Maxwell, what he said?
- 53:59Speaker 12: I was making that funny face because you were speaking
- 54:02Speaker 12: about the heat, and I just really agree with you
- 54:04Speaker 12: it was today. I walked outside for five minutes right
- 54:08Speaker 12: around one pm to take out the and I almost
- 54:10Speaker 12: put a for sale sign.
- 54:14Speaker 2: I mean people, people were not meant to live here.
- 54:16Speaker 12: I don't know if you know the history of Central
- 54:18Speaker 12: Florida when when the colonists came over and they were
- 54:23Speaker 12: taken over like the Native Americans, the actual Indians who
- 54:25Speaker 12: were here, like there were two parts of the entire
- 54:29Speaker 12: like United States that they said no, we're good, and
- 54:32Speaker 12: one one was the Everglades and one was Central Florida.
- 54:36Speaker 12: And they basically said, you guys can have all this
- 54:38Speaker 12: because nobody was no humans are ever.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Meant to live here.
- 54:42Speaker 4: Yeah, it is funny when back in the day when
- 54:44Speaker 4: I used to work for the Monsters, we would do
- 54:45Speaker 4: a lot of stuff and we'd see those we'd be
- 54:47Speaker 4: at a Universal quite a bit when they were kind
- 54:49Speaker 4: of building up the whole idea of the park and
- 54:50Speaker 4: we were walking out of there doing a gig one day,
- 54:53Speaker 4: or walking in as some people were walking out at
- 54:55Speaker 4: the end of the day, and it was I will
- 54:56Speaker 4: never forget it. It was this English family and they
- 54:59Speaker 4: had three boys and every one of them looked like
- 55:02Speaker 4: they'd been spray painted fire truck red, and I was like,
- 55:05Speaker 4: people do not understand. Like you hear the number heat
- 55:08Speaker 4: like ninety five degrees, I mean that sounds manageable. It
- 55:11Speaker 4: is not manageable when you get here. And that combines
- 55:13Speaker 4: up with the humidity and of course the reflective sun
- 55:16Speaker 4: and the as the asphalt soaks it all up. It's
- 55:18Speaker 4: almost like you're an irradiating microwave.
- 55:21Speaker 12: I have been out to Las Vegas when it was
- 55:24Speaker 12: one hundred and fifteen degrees and went, yeah, I mean.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Nothing compared to this. Scott was recently received recognition and
- 55:35Speaker 2: an award for standing up for Central Florida, and now
- 55:38Speaker 2: he's just running it down with the heat. What's up
- 55:40Speaker 2: with that? Maxwell? I don't know what to tell you
- 55:43Speaker 2: about that. Yeah, tell us about your award, tough guy,
- 55:48Speaker 2: because we know you my one on my list of
- 55:51Speaker 2: things to talk about. But we know I'm uncomfortable for you,
- 55:55Speaker 2: by the way, as well, like talking about an award
- 55:58Speaker 2: that you won that same he's like a nightmare. Well
- 56:01Speaker 2: what was the award?
- 56:01Speaker 12: By the way, it's the Society of Professional Journalists UH
- 56:05Speaker 12: gives out UH basically two awards each year UH and
- 56:09Speaker 12: two different categories.
- 56:10Speaker 2: UH. Newspapers.
- 56:11Speaker 12: One is like the giant category like the New York
- 56:13Speaker 12: Times size, and then there's a small one for community
- 56:16Speaker 12: and state papers for what they would basically call the
- 56:20Speaker 12: best columnists in the country for that division of newspapers
- 56:23Speaker 12: for that year.
- 56:24Speaker 2: And uh, the.
- 56:25Speaker 12: Paper didn't tell me they were entering my stuff, but
- 56:27Speaker 12: they did enter my stuff. And last Friday I found
- 56:30Speaker 12: out that they chose megnize.
- 56:39Speaker 4: And when I and when I heard this, I immediately
- 56:41Speaker 4: text Scott the way I always do as a good
- 56:42Speaker 4: friend like I am, And this is what I text him.
- 56:44Speaker 4: Do you think you're better than me, mister fancy column pants?
- 56:48Speaker 4: And then I typed, I typed rigged.
- 56:51Speaker 12: Yeah, because nothing nothing says swagger quite like a newspaper
- 56:55Speaker 12: awards man.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you get some interesting stuff out there today,
- 56:59Speaker 2: which for us this afternoon.
- 57:01Speaker 12: So yeah, I'm gonna I thought i'd talk the more
- 57:03Speaker 12: interesting thing I talked about. I just posted this piece
- 57:06Speaker 12: and I'm gonna do a little I'm gonna take it
- 57:07Speaker 12: back for a little bit. One of the odder days
- 57:11Speaker 12: in my journalistic career, and I've had a bunch of them,
- 57:14Speaker 12: was about I don't know eight years ago, six years ago.
- 57:17Speaker 2: When a guy named Joel Greenberg. Oh you all know
- 57:21Speaker 2: him inmate number whatever.
- 57:23Speaker 12: Yeah, our staff learned that Joel Greenberg had been prying
- 57:28Speaker 12: into law enforcement databases and trying to run background checks
- 57:33Speaker 12: on his enemies so that he could try to get
- 57:36Speaker 12: dirt on them to run them down. And Joel was
- 57:39Speaker 12: kind of nuts, as you know, so he was running
- 57:41Speaker 12: them all. I mean, he was also running them on
- 57:43Speaker 12: people like Britney Spears. So who knows what to make
- 57:46Speaker 12: of all this, but they found out that he was
- 57:48Speaker 12: running background checks on me.
- 57:51Speaker 2: And my wife.
- 57:52Speaker 12: And by the way, maybe I'm a dork or a jerk,
- 57:55Speaker 12: that's fine, but my wife is an angel on earth.
- 57:58Speaker 6: She is.
- 57:58Speaker 2: There's yes.
- 58:01Speaker 12: And the bottom line was I'd written a number of
- 58:03Speaker 12: things critical about Joel and he was trying to find
- 58:05Speaker 12: any dirty could to discredit me. Neither my wife nor
- 58:09Speaker 12: I had anything. But among the many things is you
- 58:12Speaker 12: can't do that. It's improper slash illegal to take state
- 58:17Speaker 12: law enforcement databases and use him for your own personal information.
- 58:21Speaker 2: So that's a little bit of background.
- 58:23Speaker 12: The FEDS ended up charging him, not for me in particular,
- 58:26Speaker 12: but for some of him messing around. Flash forward to
- 58:29Speaker 12: this week, when the Orlando Sentinel in Miami Herald both
- 58:32Speaker 12: wrote stories showing that the Florida Department of Fish and
- 58:35Speaker 12: Wildlife has been doing the same thing to citizens all
- 58:40Speaker 12: over the state. These are citizens who, by all counts,
- 58:43Speaker 12: have not done anything criminal, but what they've done is
- 58:46Speaker 12: like criticize the Fish and Wildlife. Some of them didn't
- 58:49Speaker 12: like the bear hunt. Some of them didn't think the
- 58:51Speaker 12: Fish and Wildlife Department was doing enough to protect gopher tortoises.
- 58:54Speaker 12: There's actually this one woman who was an elected official,
- 58:57Speaker 12: a Republican property of raiser up in Taylor County. She
- 59:02Speaker 12: and her husband just thought that Fish and Wildlife officers
- 59:04Speaker 12: hassle Floridians every day, and they've been loud on Facebook.
- 59:08Speaker 12: So the Herald and the Orlando Sentinel got whole reports
- 59:12Speaker 12: that shows the Fish and Wildlife have been running dozens
- 59:15Speaker 12: and dozens of criminal background checks using the David Database
- 59:19Speaker 12: to try to find stuff on these people. And that
- 59:21Speaker 12: should scare the but Jesus out of anybody who cares
- 59:24Speaker 12: about a free society. It's a big brother.
- 59:27Speaker 4: So just people speaking out about what they're doing, about
- 59:29Speaker 4: the decisions that FWC has made. Was Matt Taylor in
- 59:32Speaker 4: there as well, Matt the welder. Was he part of
- 59:34Speaker 4: that as well. I don't remember seeing him. I don't know,
- 59:38Speaker 4: you know what, but I wouldn't recognize his name.
- 59:39Speaker 12: I was looking only at mostly at like local gotta
- 59:42Speaker 12: gotta gotta.
- 59:43Speaker 2: But have they made a statement? Has anybody asked him
- 59:45Speaker 2: what's going on?
- 59:46Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 59:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. I had a back and I had a
- 59:48Speaker 2: back and forth with him.
- 59:50Speaker 7: Uh.
- 59:51Speaker 12: I asked them if they've done any investigation, because, by
- 59:53Speaker 12: the way, this stuff is so improper that just five
- 59:56Speaker 12: years ago, because of what Joel Greenberg did, the state
- 59:58Speaker 12: beefed up penalties to say that any misuse of this system.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: For personal because this stuff has personal information.
- 1:00:04Speaker 12: You could get people's Social Security number, you can get
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: medical history, you can get disabled It's not a toy,
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: and it's sure as hell ain't supposed to be used
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: for personal vendettas. One guy went to prison, actually another
- 1:00:16Speaker 12: Fish and Wildlife ten years ago because he was using
- 1:00:18Speaker 12: it to harass his X wow, to try to get
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: information about her. And now you have what looks like
- 1:00:25Speaker 12: the entire law enforcement Division of Fish and Wildlife going
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: after people who are like I think they do allows
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: e job protecting gopher tourtoises.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: So who has access? I mean, is it just a
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: room where anybody can walk in? I mean, it should
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: be pretty easy to find out who these people are,
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: because I mean I can't imagine. I can't imagine they
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: give that kind of access to that kind of power
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: and information to just anyone.
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: Correct, it should just be law enforcement or people who
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: are authorized to have access.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: But those people are only allowed to use it.
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: For official purposes, and official purposes means investigat a crime.
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: And so that is basically what Fish and Wildlife has
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: tried to suggest. They haven't outright accused these people of
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: being criminals, but they say that they have a right
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: to investigate anything that could perceive as a violent criminal threat. Now, dude,
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: one of the guys who they did is a documentary filmmaker.
- 1:01:18Speaker 12: I mean, that's what he does. He was a professor
- 1:01:20Speaker 12: at the University of Florida who did this thing on
- 1:01:23Speaker 12: how developers get easy permission to go over a gopher tortoises.
- 1:01:28Speaker 12: I haven't heard anybody say that he was, you know,
- 1:01:31Speaker 12: taking a gun or brass knuckles or coming after Fish
- 1:01:34Speaker 12: and Wildlife officers. But they're trying to put out this
- 1:01:37Speaker 12: notion that they were investigating all these people for I
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: don't know assassination attempts.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Are any of these actionable? I mean, if you look,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: here's the thing. I mean, if you use a database
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: like that, I mean, I guess the reason they probably
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: called Greenberg is you have to log in. I mean,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: I don't think that's just stay's open logged in, so
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: you have to log in with your credentials, so they
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: would know exactly who's using the machine at that time.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Correct, we know exactly.
- 1:02:00Speaker 12: In fact, one of the guys, another guy named Chuck O'Neil,
- 1:02:03Speaker 12: he's been a very loud environmental advocate around here. He
- 1:02:07Speaker 12: didn't like the bear hunt and some other things like that.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: And so you can.
- 1:02:10Speaker 12: Request a report because of these laws, because they don't
- 1:02:13Speaker 12: want this reviews.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: You can find out.
- 1:02:14Speaker 12: In fact, I'm thinking about requesting the report of myself
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: now to see if anybody else has done it recently.
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: You can find out who in the state of Florida
- 1:02:21Speaker 12: has accessed the david it's called the David's system to
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: look up your background, and this guy, Chuck O'Neil found
- 1:02:28Speaker 12: I think the number was twenty six times damn by
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: at least four different staffers in the FWC who had
- 1:02:35Speaker 12: been looking him up, and he's been really critical. Like
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: one of the things he's criticized the board for is
- 1:02:39Speaker 12: is disant disappointing a bunch of developers to this board.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: These are not animal lovers for the most part.
- 1:02:44Speaker 12: I mean, I should say, these are not biologists, They're
- 1:02:47Speaker 12: not people who have a history of conservation. These are
- 1:02:50Speaker 12: a lot of business people. And he's been very critical
- 1:02:52Speaker 12: about that. And after making that criticism, the record now
- 1:02:55Speaker 12: shows that on twenty six different occasions, at least three
- 1:02:58Speaker 12: or four people in that office we're trying to look
- 1:03:01Speaker 12: up dirt on it.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Well, theoretically then you would be able to go into
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: their email systems and find out if there was a
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: directive from higher ups to even do that, in other words,
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: to keep their hands off of the dirt, you know,
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: direct somebody in the FWC to go out there and
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: find information on somebody. I mean, I mean, God only
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: knows how high it goes.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: That's you're exactly right.
- 1:03:20Speaker 12: And so I think you were starting to ask, like,
- 1:03:22Speaker 12: you know, what's the accountability, how does this get fixed? Well,
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: you know, the accountability should be at the govenor, and
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: it should be at the people who that's who runs
- 1:03:30Speaker 12: the fish and wildlife. I mean, think about this, Jim,
- 1:03:33Speaker 12: Think about guys like Desanis and the Attorney General James
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: uth Meyer, who are constantly parachuting in to crap on
- 1:03:41Speaker 12: local officials who they say aren't doing their job. Can
- 1:03:45Speaker 12: you imagine, just for a minute, what would happen if
- 1:03:48Speaker 12: James uth Meyer Ron de Santis found that Monique Warrel's
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: office was using this database to research their political enemies.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: It would be surrounded right now.
- 1:03:59Speaker 12: It would the hissy fits, would make mean girls look
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: like a bunch of tame people out there. They would
- 1:04:05Speaker 12: be coming after. But there has been no accountability that
- 1:04:07Speaker 12: we can see. So to answer your question, at least
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: two of the people who've been probed, including who had
- 1:04:13Speaker 12: their records run, including Chuck O'Neill, said they're filing federal
- 1:04:17Speaker 12: civil suits and they're gonna be able to look at statues.
- 1:04:20Speaker 12: They're gonna be able to cite statutes in Florida law
- 1:04:22Speaker 12: that says it says right here, you can't do this.
- 1:04:24Speaker 12: Here's a record that says they did it to me
- 1:04:26Speaker 12: twenty six times. I got an attorney general and a
- 1:04:29Speaker 12: governor who aren't doing crap. I believe I'm entitled to something.
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: So if we'll see how I know.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Have you reached out to Uthmayer's office to see if
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: they have a statement, or the Governor's office.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I have not reached out to Uthmyer's office.
- 1:04:41Speaker 12: Do I have a long statement from the Fish and
- 1:04:44Speaker 12: Wildlife Commission who says their actions have been mischaracterized and
- 1:04:49Speaker 12: they only do the right thing to which I said
- 1:04:51Speaker 12: and what I put in the column, then you need
- 1:04:53Speaker 12: to provide the justification, the criminal suspicion right justification you
- 1:04:59Speaker 12: had for every one of these citizens that you ran
- 1:05:03Speaker 12: law enforcement backgun.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Is that what they have to say internally to get
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: access to it, to kind of offer some protection from
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: what is inevitably coming to them.
- 1:05:13Speaker 12: I mean, I don't think they have to say anything
- 1:05:16Speaker 12: to access it from what I've hear. I mean, when
- 1:05:17Speaker 12: we looked at when Joel was doing it, I think
- 1:05:19Speaker 12: the total number of searches he ran with something like
- 1:05:21Speaker 12: seven hundred.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: He was running up. He was not just running checks
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: on his political enemies, on.
- 1:05:27Speaker 12: Their parents, right and that like one guy's one county
- 1:05:30Speaker 12: commissioner's father and dead mom.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: He was also he was running on his friends. He
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: was just you know, it looks like he was just
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: screwing around with it.
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: Also, there's no justification to get in there that you
- 1:05:40Speaker 12: have to provide, I think, but you do have to
- 1:05:42Speaker 12: provide a justification if asked or called on it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: So this guy just basically used the database like Instagram, like,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: you know, let me just look up you know what
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: this info is all about. My question for you, Scott
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: is did you feel kind of like a badass finding
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: out that you got looked up like you were onto something,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: you know, like that you were doing good work? Sure?
- 1:06:03Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, I mean once you find out that I
- 1:06:05Speaker 12: was one of seven hundred people the club didn't feel
- 1:06:07Speaker 12: quite as exclusive. But yes, but yes, and there were
- 1:06:12Speaker 12: several other people. I have often said when I finally die,
- 1:06:17Speaker 12: I would like to be judged by the people who
- 1:06:19Speaker 12: are cheering my death as equally as the ones who
- 1:06:23Speaker 12: are sad. And yeah, at that point in time, I
- 1:06:25Speaker 12: didn't mind him, you know, being on the anti Scott
- 1:06:28Speaker 12: Maxwell club.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: I okay, it's so funny. A couple of people just
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: in the last few minutes of texting things like this.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: I was chatting with Chuck about the bear hunting surveillance.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: I wonder if I've been investigated, And then a guy
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: named Russell from Grovelin said, wouldn't be surprised if they
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: pulled my information for complaining about FWC leadership. So there
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: are already people on our texting service, after only talking
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: about this for a few minutes, who think there's a
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: possibility that they've been dug into.
- 1:06:50Speaker 12: Well, think about it, I mean what and we haven't
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: seen any of these people be prosecuted, presumably because they
- 1:06:56Speaker 12: haven't done anything criminally wrong. But think about the you know,
- 1:07:00Speaker 12: the principle we're talking about here, We're talking about if
- 1:07:03Speaker 12: they find some I don't know, old traffic ticket or
- 1:07:06Speaker 12: expired tag or unpaid ticket, you're gonna get gone after
- 1:07:10Speaker 12: because you criticized a politician or a policy.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and isn't there a probable cause thing that would
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: also be a precedent in situations like this. I mean,
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: you can't just blindly investigate people because you have a
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: hunch that they're on there. Doesn't there have to be
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: a probable cause that a crime has been committed? I
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: mean we know this with traffic stops. I mean a
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: cop theoretically it has to have like a smell or
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: see something in the car to uh, you know, to
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: access a search, warn't to get into the vehicle. I mean,
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: I can't imagine this isn't the same scenario where you
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: have to prove at some point that you have some
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: concrete evidence that there could be some nefarious happenings going on.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: But if not, I don't I mean, it seems criminal.
- 1:07:47Speaker 12: Yeah, I don't think. Well, that's what the statute says.
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: The statute said, it's absolutely criminal. It's not called probable cause.
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: But you're right in principle. And that's one of the
- 1:07:57Speaker 12: things the Fish and Wildlife Commission seems to be acknowledged
- 1:07:59Speaker 12: because because one of the quote lines she said is
- 1:08:01Speaker 12: it is permitted only for legitimate law enforcement purposes only.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: So yes, they know they have to have a reason
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: for that.
- 1:08:08Speaker 12: And if you don't, and I'll tell you the other
- 1:08:10Speaker 12: thing the statute said when they were passing or the
- 1:08:12Speaker 12: state clearly declared the quote misuse of an electronic database
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: is a violation of an officer's good moral character. Wow,
- 1:08:19Speaker 12: so you better have an explanation when you're violating the
- 1:08:23Speaker 12: statute or doing questionable searches. Once again, I don't know,
- 1:08:26Speaker 12: I can't say for a fact anybody violated any rules.
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: I can say it looks awfully questionable because what you
- 1:08:32Speaker 12: have to believe at this point is that the people,
- 1:08:34Speaker 12: this whole raft of people that.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Are threatening criminally threatening.
- 1:08:39Speaker 12: Wildlife officials are documentary filmmakers, environmental advocates, and a property
- 1:08:46Speaker 12: appraiser up in Taylor County who wants to hunt and
- 1:08:48Speaker 12: not be hassling.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: Which is wild because didn't the governor just this past
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: spring pass a law that says that like FWC can't
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: bore your vessel without probable cause that you're doing so wrong.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Because up in siveral Glynn Springs, it used to be
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: that way, like you, just like with a coastguard, if
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: they if they had an inkling that you were doing
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: something wrong, they could literally just walk onto your vessel
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: and search your entire vessel.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: It used to be like that.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: A matter of fact, I know it did, because I've
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: been on a couple of boats that were searched and
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: watched thirty others get searched. So that kind of flies
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: in the face of that new law because they have
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: to have probable cause to get on your boat, but
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: to research you for a crime that you may have
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: committed or they think you could have committed.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: That flies in the face of what that law says altogether.
- 1:09:32Speaker 12: I think you're absolutely right about the contradicting sort of
- 1:09:35Speaker 12: ideologies there, and what you're describing about the boat boarding
- 1:09:38Speaker 12: was actually the kind of thing that that property appraiser
- 1:09:40Speaker 12: in Taylor County, she and her husband were saying, these
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: officers have gotten drunk with power, right. I think the
- 1:09:46Speaker 12: harassing people who are just trying to enjoy the outdoors.
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: You may disagree with them, it doesn't matter, but you
- 1:09:52Speaker 12: absolutely have a right to express that opinion without being
- 1:09:55Speaker 12: fearful about government coming after you for criminal per crazy dude.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: If don't check out out of Orlando sitting on dot com,
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: he writes at every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. You can
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: see his columns every single week. He's an award winner.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: He's an award winner. All right, everybody's got maximum right
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: always good seen.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Your brother, good sena, you guys have a great week,
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: you as well, buddy, all right?
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: Four seven nine one six four one, Get a few
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: minutes for your four o'clock keyword fun I f you
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: in go to real radio doubt of him and send
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: that away for your chance at one thousand dollars.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Back in one second with more of the Jim Coboard Show.
- 1:10:30Speaker 17: People say, when you get order, you become a grumpy
- 1:10:32Speaker 17: old man or a mean old woman. But that's not true.
- 1:10:35Speaker 17: It's just that when you're younger, you have to try
- 1:10:37Speaker 17: to fit in with the family, with people at work,
- 1:10:39Speaker 17: so you always try to be nice, and sometimes you
- 1:10:43Speaker 17: are not your true self. But when you get order,
- 1:10:45Speaker 17: you realize, you know, hey, if I don't want to
- 1:10:47Speaker 17: go somewhere, I say no. If I think you look
- 1:10:49Speaker 17: funny in what you're wearing, I say so. If you
- 1:10:52Speaker 17: really don't have to play nice all the time when
- 1:10:55Speaker 17: you get order, it's kind of nice.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: He's got a license being a All right, welcome back
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: to the Jim Kober Show. We're already one to four
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: point one.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: I'm Jim.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: There's DEVI hell no, check his ear as well. Now
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: we're out of time. We can't do it. Now, we
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: have to wait somewhere else. Jack is dying for a cupcake.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: It's just his birthday. It is Ross's birthday. Today. We're
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: celebrating Ross's birthday. But got here.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: He got here three minutes before we went on the air, bastard. Yeah,
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: which sucks because we can't do the before the show things,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: so now we have to do it after the show.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Just on this next break. It's five o'clock. Well, I
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: guess we could do it. Yeah, yeah, five o'clock is
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: a good time.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: I had did one of the things I hate doing
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: more than anything today, and I know this is gonna sound.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: This is the this is the huge, This is the biggest.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: This is the biggest P word thing in the world.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: By the way, my wife laughs at how much I
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: hate doing this. Uh you wait, Folding laundry is that
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: the one? And I don't I mean I I don't
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: like doing that. It's not my favorite. But it's not
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: like this. It's not you had to fold fit cheek.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: I have to look away for this one, clean the toilet.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I had to give some blood this morning, all right,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Yeah for enough for that though not for the big
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: red buster. And they had to do it for my checkup.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: It was it's not for anyone else's benefit, my own.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: It was doctor ordered, So you give four miles of blood,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: and I hate doing it more than any I really
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: am not a big fan of it. I have to
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: look away I don't like the sight of it coming
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: out of my body.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: I don't mind blood. It doesn't bother me. I have blood.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: I mean, if you look at my hands and arms,
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: I bleed all the time.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: So it's not the sight of blood, but that feeling
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: when you look at it, you feel like you can
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: feel it leaving your body.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: And that's wild. Although I don't think that. I mean,
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: I don't think you can, but for some reason, the
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: pressure that makes it feel like you're literally having life
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: flow out of you.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: I like watching when they put the needle in you
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: do now? Yeah, well, Jack, I'll record it, and they
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: freaked them out. I can't stand that because its weird.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Don't be surprised by that. Jack is like extra yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Does it bother you at all? Ross the sight of
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: blood or anything like that? Like you you yeah, he
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: has a vagina? Yeaha no, No, it's something called like
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: vas a quotal or something. When you hate seeing blood,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: never remembers it. I have done poorly when it comes
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: to blood in the past. How I have not passed out,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: but I definitely got wider once. Okay, I don't even
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: know that was possible. I'm a nervous system. Reflex that
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: caustant a sudden dropping heart rate and blood pressure, often
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: leading the fainting. The only time that I have done
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: extremely well with blood was birth. Oh really yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: there you have a problem that. No, No, it doesn't
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: bother you at all.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: No, I'm like Jack, I like watching the needle go in,
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: like watching the vials Philip really fast?
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Do you really got it? I do not care for that.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Doesn't like the words exactly, I know, fascinating. I do
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: not care for it at all.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, like a probably, but
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: I don't have a problem blood. I've cut myself up.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: I literally dropped it running chains.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: On my hand well, and that was unexpected and it
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: cut the entire literally chopped the entire of my hand apart,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: and I had I went to work that afternoon. I
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: just put like glaus on it, went back to work.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: But when they stick that needle in and it comes
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: flowing out of there and it's hauling ass, Yeah, I
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: do not care for that. You're like, that's my PSI
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: And I have to tell you, I think it may be.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: I'm not ragging on anybody. I'm not. This is not
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: a rag.
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: But when you talk about being weak at the kneesman
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: drawing blood you can't no, no.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: No, you're right right, But I had I went to
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: a different that I usually go to one kind of
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: lab to do this. I went to a different lab.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: And let me say, the lab experience, based on what
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: you choose for that particular thing, is a much different experience.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: I went to one lab place before to get my
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: blood drawn, and that.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Was like not good. I was like, oh man, that
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: was like walking into a pawn shop on another planet,
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: like you could see anything in there.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: It had a drive through. Oh man, it was not
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: I mean it is. It was like the Star Wars
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: canteena in there, right and then and then you go
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: into the one that I went in today, You're like,
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: oh nice, and something like being in a target. So
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: the experience was way different based on the lab.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: I went to what I thought I was over my
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: blood thing. And then my wife she goes, she calls,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: she goes, Babe, Bob, I needed can you give me
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: some paper towels? Walk in paper towels. She cut herself
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: shaving on her ankle fresh out of a shower, so
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: just like mixed in with the water. So yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: so it just like psycho. Yeah, it didn't look like
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: she was my chemical romance scene in the shower man.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Like it was something else getting under the sadness. That's
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: what I kind of look. I'm sorry if that's offensive,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: but I'm just kind of sadden this out.
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: And then that that's when I kind of I had
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: to sit down. Yeah. Yeah, see I haven't been there yet.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: I haven't. I mean, the only time I almost all
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: pass out is during my vasectomy, and that was I've
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: told that story a hundred times. But I don't get
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: I don't get woozy. I just don't care for the
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: feeling of it. You softly whimper, I don't. I just
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: look away. And then she says you're done, and I
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: feel the needle go in. It doesn't.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: I mean, it's a little pinch, no big deal, And
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: I feel the needle coming out, and I thank her
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: for making it easy and I move on.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: I just don't.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: I told her, I tell her right to. I'm like,
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: I'm not, I'm gonna look away. It's gonna be weird,
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: like I'm a grown ass man with kids.
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: I think.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I said, I'm not real good with this. I'm gonna
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: look away, And she just kind of smiled and laughed
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: a little bit, and she goes, you'll be fine. I go,
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: I know, we'll be fine. That's not the point.
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: I wonder how many medical professionals can't can't, don't like
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: the experience as well.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Oh really, I don't know. That would just be fascinating.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: Now that's someone I could see getting some getting some heat.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, for sure. That's a comedy sketch. Nurse
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: drawing blood. You can't stand the sight of blood. Then
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: they do that.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: I think Stephen Colbert and did that with with food.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: These servers Steve Caro Correll, right, yeah, yeah, and they
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: couldn't stand food, and every time they had to explain
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: the menu, they the one was about to throw up,
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: all right, four seven nine one textas seven seven zero
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: three one. Get another fresh keyword for you right now, Hey, Jim.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: When it comes to the needles, I work in vet
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: mad as a vet tech.
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: I'm doing that seventeen years.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: I can pull blood all day off cats and dollars.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: But boy, if they start bringing a needle towards me
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: at the hospital at doctor's office, I'm queasy and woozy.
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: You can't do it.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: So I'm one of those medical professionals that hates good
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: my blood drama, but I love pulling blood.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: That's wild. Hey over crew, it's Sarah. What's up?
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: So I may have trauma. Don't a talk back with
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: you guys about my appointment, so I will follow up shyly.
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: I have a bad female visit and I had to
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: get a couple of biopsies and I found out today
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: that they came back. Uh what the doctor says, unremarkable.
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: So no abnormalties, no cancer cells, which is what I
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: was worried about. Everything's good, so faith we.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Love hearing that. That's not happy.
- 1:18:25Speaker 16: You know your favorite tea begging rock page and the
- 1:18:29Speaker 16: day we raised beer to my uncle Line unfortunately passed
- 1:18:36Speaker 16: away yesterday due to complications from the stroke and diabetes.
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: But he was a great man.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Always believed in me, and I'm going to miss him.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: At least he's back up there with Dad. Now, have
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: a good one, thanks, buddy, Appreciate that back to back,
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: call it back to interesting, well positive, then yeah, a
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: little more sad.
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: Hi, Welcome back to the Jim Culbert Show. Your five
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: o'clock keyword is bonus. B in the US, go to
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: real radio dot of FIM and send that away for
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: your chance in a thousand bucks. Bonus is the word, guys,
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: go get that money. I'm Jim's deb Hello, Hi there,
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Anne Ross. Don't bonus Mary. One of the uh, one
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: of the biggest things out there in the news today
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: was kind of interesting. I wanted to see what you
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: guys thought of this because I've had a bit of
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: an experience like this, not quite like this, But what.
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: Do you do?
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: You know what it is already? No, I don't know,
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: but I love this. I love whenever you go. Let
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: me ask you, guys. Yeah, I stumbled across something to
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: bounce it off. Did you see the Cubs game scenario yesterday?
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: I did not? Okay, did you guys see the Cubs
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: game scenario that hell?
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: Uh so Cubs game yesterday and guys filming, uh in
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: the stands and uh the national anthem is being sung.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: So everybody in the stadium stands up to do the
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: national anthem except this kid that's sitting right in front,
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: the guy in runt of this guy.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Now the guy is I didn't see. The guy's not
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: the guy who did the thing. I'm about to tell
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: you wasn't the guy filming. There was a guy behind him.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: I guess, just filming the field, the whole experience of
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: being at Wrigley, in the whole nine yards, right, Yeah.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: But it inadvertently caught this.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: As everybody stood for the national anthem, this kid, who
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: was probably looked to be like anywhere from nineteen to
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: maybe twenty two to twenty three years old.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: Okay, kid, but old enough to know better.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: Was in front and everybody had stood up for the
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: national anthem, and he did not stand up. The old
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: man reaches over and pops him in the back of
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: the head and says, get your ass up, it's the
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: national anthem. The kid gotta look back at him, didn't
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: do anything, and then stood his ass up for the
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: national anthem.
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: I didn't know you could fly so quickly from Chicago
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: back to Orlando to be on the air at three.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: How did you do that?
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: And it's funny because I was reading the textings over
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: this morning when the monsters were on the air and
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: they were talking about this, and somebody somebody typed in
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: about me doing that at my at my Super Bowl
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: party at my house. I did not slap anybody, but
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: I did ask everybody nicely if they would stand up
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: while the national anthem is being played. But hitting somebody
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: is way different now. Also just as salt. Yeah, I
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: want more context onone. You did it at your Super
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: Bowl party, because this was before I think you.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: And I met. Oh he is way before.
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: I had probably thirty five or forty people at my house.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Were there are people sitting down when you made the announcement.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Everybody was, I mean mostly there.
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: We had a couch area, we had, you know, just
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: regular like seats out and everybody was sitting down waiting
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: for the game to come on. And when the national
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: anthem started playing, I stood up and I said, all right,
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: everybody up, And one guy that we all know, by
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: the way, looked at me like I was crazy af
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: by the way, Well.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: This guy looks like he, oh no, that's no.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: Now you hit my kid like that, you're gonna get
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: throat punched.
- 1:21:54Speaker 18: Now.
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: This guy's a Vietnam VET. The guy who smacked him
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: as a Vietnam VET. So I think maybe even a
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: little bit more sense of the live to the whole
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: national anthem topic a little bit.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but still doe. They fought, and I believe. It's like,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: you know, I thought, for this country, you need to
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: respect the flag. Now, they fought for our ability and
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: the Constitution as well, which is the ability to protest.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: And I don't know why he was sitting. Yeah, but
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: I don't think it was a protest. I think it
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: was just lazy. I don't know. I don't think they
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: just take it that seriously. Nineteen and he's scrolling his phone.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: He doesn't give it enough. I don't think the new
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: generations really kind of have that same thing that people
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: like us have. And I think for anyone, and like,
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: I don't sit down, I stand up, I take my
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: hat off. That's how I do it, right, Yeah, but
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: imposing your views on someone else when they have a
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: right not to do that is wrong. And it's and
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: hitting him that that's just there's no question that was wrong. Yeah,
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: no question it was wrong. One people like you feel better?
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:22:57Speaker 16: Well?
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: What I mean people that you feel you like that,
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: I don't mind it, No, it doesn't.
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: You're not that kid. There's some other people I wouldn't
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: mind slapping.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: The guy's name is Bob Chavez.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: And eventually he said quote that he wishes he could
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: take back chastising the young man, he goes, quote, even
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: though I fought in Vietnam and had buddies killed, we
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: fight for the rights of people, and that's one of
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: his rights.
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: There you go, here's someone sorry, someone just texted us
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: at seven seven zero three one. As a disabled veteran,
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: I couldn't care less if someone stands for it. Forced
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: patriotism is not what I fought in the desert for.
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: I fought against forest patriots.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: R Yeah, And later on he said, he goes, then
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: later on during the game, the next thing you know,
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: he's buying me a beer. We talk, We shook hands.
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: I overacted. I could have handled it better. I wish
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: I would have, But my feelings are still the same.
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: People should stand all right, Well.
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: I mean this is this is the way we want
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: these kinds of confrontations to end.
- 1:23:49Speaker 19: Right.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: By the way, let me say something else. This is
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: super important because it's generationally separate.
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: This guy, this kid is like he said, nineteen twenty
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: twenty one, twenty two years old.
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: Whatever, this guy's a Vietnam VET. He's got to be
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: in his early seven I think that's like minimum almost
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: to be in a Vietnam war.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: And still be alive. Sure, right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: After the game or during the game, the Cubs security
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: officers came over and they said, hey, man, do you
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: want us to do anything?
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: And the kid looks at him and goes, no. We
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: talked about it. We resolved this. We're all good. Let's
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: watch the ball game. That's the way it should be.
- 1:24:18Speaker 10: That's how you solve problems.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: You're talking out a little bit. The guy says I
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: was wrong. He's like, I come, I understand why you
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: did something like that. Now we kind of understand how
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: each other feels and we can move on. And and
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: the vet himself recognized that he was wrong and yeah,
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I mean, he has a right to sit, but hey,
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: resolve it. It's fantastic. It says here the national anthem.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: This is let's see. I think this is a statement
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: from the Cubs. Yeah.
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: Cubs spokesperson says the national anthem is an important tradition
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: at Cubs homes game home games. While we respect the
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: rights of individuals to decide for themselves, we encourage every
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: fan to stand if they're able, and to remove their
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: caps while the anthem is being played. At the same time,
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: the safety and security of our fans is also top priority.
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: We expect all guests to treat one another with respect
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: and follow our fan Code of Conduct, which prohibits physical
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: confrontations or threatening behaviors. And then they then they they
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: kind of recanted the idea of the of them talking
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: it out and figuring out what's going on. The guy
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: probably apologized, bought him a beer, and they moved on now,
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: which is probably exactly what the beer I think the
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: old man about to do the dude the kid of beer.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: That's good be a stupid expression.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: So when are they going to be shipped to Washington,
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: d C? To show Congress how it can be diactly right?
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: Because that's what we really need, it.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: Says after the video the incident. After the video of
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: the incident was posted, comments largely centered on the discussions
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: around the slap itself, with numerous commentators saying charges should
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: have been filed, others criticizing job As for his actions. Actually,
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: and very few people kind of came to this guy's side,
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: you know, saying it was okay to slap the kid.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: Most people believed that the kids should stand, But nobody
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: should force you to do that, and you certainly should
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: not be assaulted for making a decision based on your
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: constitutional rights.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: And I agree it, But I'm so curious do you
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: think that that would be the end result in every like?
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Because to me, that end result would not have happened,
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: let's say in the eighties, where people would understand the
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: side of the guy sitting down.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: More, No, they would understand no. In the eighties, it
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: would have been the side of the veteran. And then
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: when you got home, your parents would have beat your
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: ass because you were caught on national television not standing
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: for the national.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: So I agree, I think that would have been the
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: end result there. So nineties is it the same end result?
- 1:26:29Speaker 16: Like?
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: When did this change? Because this, to me, I agree
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: with the outcome. In fact, it's kind of a Pixar
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: story right there in front of us. Yeah, but I'm
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: curious to see how much understanding the sitter gets in
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: this scenario versus other decades. Yeah, I don't know. By
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: the way, it was the kid that bought the old
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: man the beer, it was the other way around.
- 1:26:48Speaker 8: Oh wow.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: Yeah, the kid bought the old man the beer as
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: like a peace offering, and then they shook hands, talked
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: it out, and enjoyed the game.
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: I think the biggest takeaway was that the young man
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: and the old older man acknowledged the sense of entitlement
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: of the older man to force the younger man to stand,
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: the younger man acknowledging I probably should have stood out
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: of respect.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, let's just talk it.
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: Out, work it out, share a beer like grown ass men,
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: and enjoy a great baseball game in which it was
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: a really great game last night.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you, dude, he glanced as this kid.
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: The kid just accidentally moved his head on accident. Had
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: that dude connected with the full force of the swing
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: that he.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: Made, may not have gotten that beer.
- 1:27:28Speaker 10: He would That.
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: Would have gone a little differently because I just watched
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: it again. Jack has it on the screen right now
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: at Jim Corperlive dot com. And when the old an
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: bent over he with his left he went to smacking
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: pretty hard, and the kid moved his head, didn't even
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: He wasn't even trying to avoid the hit. He didn't
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: know what was coming. He just did it like on accident.
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: But had that old man hit him as hard as
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: he was swinging, that would have been a different scenario.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: I think the funny part to me out of all
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: of this is that maybe possibly one could argue the
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: most offensive thing that's happening is the guy filming it.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, four o seven nine one four one.
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: You'd always text us at seven seven and zero three one,
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: Harry Potter star is doing something new and it is wild.
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: I'll tell you about that next.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: Hey, Chances Trucker.
- 1:28:18Speaker 20: As a veteran, I would have handed up a bit differently.
- 1:28:24Speaker 20: I wouldn't have slapped him because I don't know how
- 1:28:27Speaker 20: to slap open hands, pull forth, but I would use
- 1:28:30Speaker 20: my imitation Jill Sargeant voice, get right up to his
- 1:28:34Speaker 20: ear and said are you faint?
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: That made him get up airborn hair born?
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: He says, all right, four seven nine one texts seven
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: seven zero three one. Fun is or excuse me? Bonus
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: is your five o'clock keyword? Bo in us Go to
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: roll radio dout of him and send that off for
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: your chance of one thousand bucks.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: Bonus is the word. Guys, go get it. I'm Jim,
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: there's dead Hello Jack, Yeah, Ross, that's true. What are
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: you gonna say? I was just taking that, you know,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: having a drill instructor right in your ear, yelling get
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: on your feet might be more shocking than the slat
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: at that kid at the county game. Good for sure.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: So I teased as we were going into the break
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: that a Harry Potter star has made a decision in life.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: That's interesting. Now I say star, I mean, what what
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: do you think you have to be to be a star?
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: Ne a long bottom of up? Good point?
- 1:29:27Speaker 8: Yes?
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: Not even Luna?
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: Yeah Luna and yeah kind of same here, yeah yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: How about Lavender Brown? She played two different colors. She
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: was she played Gryffindor's student, Lavender Brown and three of
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: the eight Harry Potter movies.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Oh three, three of the eight of them. She's now
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: thirty nine years old. Is that the last three movies?
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: It doesn't really say which ones. It just says she
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: was in three Harry Potter films. That that's significant.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I want to look her up, but I don't
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: want to see the story.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, her name is Jessica Cave or Cave. I don't know.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: I don't know how.
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: That's a fair stab, right, Jessica Cave. And Jessica Cave
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: has made a decision for herself and it has people
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: a little bit on on tilt.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I mean, we've all got to be thinking the same thing, right,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: only fans? Yeah? Okay, yeah, oh I thought no, I
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: thought it was transitioning.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: No, no, no, only fans is the answer. She's joining
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: only fans, but she isn't doing nudity.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: Well, then what are we doing? That's the question, isn't it.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: I think most people on only Fans aren't doing nudity. No,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: I think is it? I think it's like fifty to
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: fifty or more.
- 1:30:45Speaker 10: Isn't it?
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: She's doing something that there is a specific kink for
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: though that I again, these are things that I'm learning
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: as I get older. Now I would know that you
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: could be into this, but I didn't know it was
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: like this kind of thing. But that's exactly what she's doing.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: She does not get nude, So she's doing like she's
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: made more only fans since she's joined then all three
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: of the Harry Potter movies combined.
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: Kind of like the vampire Romance.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Oh that's a really good guess.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: Yeah, kind of like paranormal erotica.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: It is not that it. She just sits and does
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: this and people tune in, they pay, and they talk
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: to her. While she does this not knit. And there's
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: a word for this, breaking wind.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: If I say it, that word would be far. If
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: I say it, I think will know it immediately because
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: I think she's I think she actually kind of onto this,
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: So I can't say what the what the thing is?
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: No, that's certainly not pumpkin juice. Yeah, miniatures crafting.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: What is trichophilia? Tricophilia, that's what it's the hair, right.
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: She sits in a room, she puts the camera on,
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: and all she does is sit and brush her hair.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Because there is a group of people who have a
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: fascination or a or a what is it called a
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: kink called trickophilia, And trick ophelia means that you like
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: watching people play with her hair. You like the sound
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: of a brush going through your hair.
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: Guys know who Lavender Brown is. That was the girl
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: that was sucking face with Ronald Weasley after he won.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: The Quidditch Cup. Oh my, all right, god, exactly. She
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: didn't have a lovely head of hair. I knew it
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: the whole time. Yeah, she just basically brushes and shows
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: her hair off.
- 1:32:46Speaker 21: She was.
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: It was only after I started that I realized that's
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: an actual official fetish.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: It's long. It's called trickophilia. I googled, I googled lavender brown,
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: and I got a cheesecake restivant.
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: It's when somebody is aroused by hair and at it's hard.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: It's about feeling like you're talking to somebody and having
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: a little bit of a connection.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: So what she does is is you you?
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess log on OnlyFans, you log on her
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: room and you can talk to her and ask her questions.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: And the whole time she's doing that, she's either brushing
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: or playing with her hair.
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: She needs to moisturize. That's kind of like a deep masking.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: That's kind of like you and the Jim Colbert Show,
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: which is wow you No, No, I'm dead serious. Throughout
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: the entirety of this program, you've been brushing your hair.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: You've been brushing your chin here, You've been stroking your
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: chin here, did it all day to day? Yeah, that's
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: what you do. Yeah, this could have been the Jim
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: Stroking hair Show. Yeah, there have been some you know,
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: even though she doesn't do nudia, nudia, even though she
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: doesn't do nudity, she has gotten some some fallout from
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: this and it kind of sucks because her only income
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: because obviously, when you're a bit player in these movies,
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: there aren't, like everybody believes you get residuals for the
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: rest of your life.
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: You don't. When if you're a big star in the movie.
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: I mean maybe five people get that kind of money
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: in those movies, and you know the five. But you know,
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: just these these secondary players are not gonna make any
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: money like that. They're gonna get their flat fee and
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: they're gonna move on, and that money doesn't last long.
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: I mean those movies were you know, a decade plus ago, right, Yeah,
- 1:34:11Speaker 4: so she so she did this OnlyFans thing, and now
- 1:34:15Speaker 4: the problem is is the way that she made money
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: before this off of the fame from the show is
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: doing cons right, Yeah, doing the Harry Potter cons, Harry
- 1:34:24Speaker 4: Potter appearances and you know, signing autographs, taking photographs, and
- 1:34:27Speaker 4: that was a really good way for her to make money.
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: When she joined OnlyFans, the Harry Potter people don't want
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: her near them now. Really, even though she's not doing
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: anything sexual. You could actually go to her site and
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: see she never shows anything, nothing sexual. But because it's
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: only fans and the stigma behind only fans is that
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: that everything is explicitly, explicitly sexual. They won't let her
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: near those cons anymore. So she's kind of cashed out
- 1:34:52Speaker 4: that that whole idea of making money through that.
- 1:34:54Speaker 5: I mean, I I was just thinking that, oh, okay,
- 1:34:57Speaker 5: well maybe they're not inviting her. But from what I'm reading,
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: she's been from official fan Condyah.
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: Yeah, she can't do any of that stuff at all.
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: Now unfair. It is unbelievable and is this doing the barring?
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: It says here.
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: She shared on substack that she was barred from a
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: recent Harry Potter fan convention due to her only Fans appearance.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: She told The Observer that she previously relied on those
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: fan events for steady income.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: Quote.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: They explained it was because it's a family show and
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: only Fans is affiliated with porn and it doesn't say
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: who they is. Jack and I can only assume that
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: people who run the who run the cons probably get
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: contacted by the people who have the Harry Potter licenses
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: and said, hey, look, we don't want her in photographs
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: of this because she's an only fan start out.
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: And she says she just wants to get out of debt.
- 1:35:39Speaker 5: This is according to Variety and quote fix up her home.
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Yeah, she says here that you know a lot of
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: people that are in the entertainment business do these kind
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: of things even because they're gig workers, and gig workers
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: don't know where their next job is coming from, so
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: they lean on things like OnlyFans to fill the gaps
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: in their income. Like she says, she only doesn't like
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: once a week. She takes twenty two minutes out of
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: her day. And I think she's a mother of like
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: three or four. She takes like twenty two minutes out
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: of one day a week. She sits down, she makes
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: this video, she lets everybody know she's gonna go on,
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: and then she goes on and she takes that money
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: and raises her family.
- 1:36:12Speaker 5: Now, Trey di Matteo from The Sopranos, I mean she
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: was able to pay off like all of her debt
- 1:36:18Speaker 5: within twenty four hours.
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: I think one day. Oh what was she doing on that?
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: I think a lot, But I think hers was a
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: little bit more sensual. She was showing a little bit
- 1:36:25Speaker 5: more skin.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she was wearing some suggestive clothing that
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: may have revealed if you look the right way. Like
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: between the Squiggly Lands and Cinemac.
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: Yeah, between the Squiggly Lins and Cinemax show title.
- 1:36:36Speaker 4: She says she got the idea of for only fans
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: from a friend after hitting a wall with her finances. Nowadays,
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: she juggles only fans with parenting filming content whenever she
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: has spare time. She says, I basically sneak away when
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: I can while they're at school. I do as much
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: content as I can within twenty two minutes. She does
- 1:36:51Speaker 4: it once a week, and she raises more money than
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: she made in all three Harry Potter films in just
- 1:36:56Speaker 4: just one appearance.
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: I can't see why anyone would blame her. Yeah, I
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: mean she's not doing anything that embarrasses her children. Why
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: should Harry Potter fans be able to hold her financially hostage?
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: Well, I mean it would be kind of weird. You
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: have to explain to your kids why grown men like
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: what watching you brush your hair? I mean there is
- 1:37:14Speaker 4: a sexual nature to it, for sure, because it is
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: a fetish and fetish by its design is sexual?
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: Is it not? Are almost all fetish as sexual? Well?
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: I think what the person who has to fetish what
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: they do? If it could be tea you know, could
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: be termed pornographic or sexualized. But literally, when you see
- 1:37:34Speaker 5: the video of her, she's wearing glasses, snow makeup, and
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: she's just brushing her hair, that's.
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: Exactly the definition. All fetishes are inherently sexual. Yes, the
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: idea of is it to arouse? Right?
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: A fetish arouses you, And that's the whole whole idea,
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: this tricophilia thing.
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: The idea that men watch her. I guess women could
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: do as well. I mean I can't just put it
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: on men, but would watch you brush your hair? And
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: that's a that's arousing, and you use that arousal for whatever.
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: You know, someone could think picking your nose is arousing
- 1:38:05Speaker 5: and you're sitting in traffic just taking care of business. Yeah,
- 1:38:08Speaker 5: how is it your responsibility that you know Woody's right
- 1:38:11Speaker 5: next door?
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a difference thing though, like, oh what people
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: like this me changed my bedroom into a studio and
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: pick my nose and exploit the nose picking community. That's
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: actually where the upskirt things started. Years and years ago.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: There was a website called like red Cloud I think
- 1:38:27Speaker 4: was that it Jack red Cloud. Almost if you wouldn't
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: have laughed. No, no, but I think there are years
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: at the first level of doing anything like this online.
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: Back in the nineties there was a website called red Clouds,
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: and Red Clouds was where you could see upskirts. That
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: was the big thing is you would take upskirts and
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: you could go on there and look at upskirts and
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: these are unwittingly taken like nobody knows now.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: So the difference a kink, it could be someone's kink
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: and not all kinks are sexual, all right? Are sexual?
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: Kinks are not fetish? Say that other than you? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: It says kinks can absolutely be non sexual for many people.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: A kink it's about emotional connection. Fetishes are about arousal.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: That does not sound right, That's right, you guys think
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: harder to be a kink in a fetish is the same.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: Dam I think a kink goes harder than a fetish.
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: A fetish is like, well, like what you brush your hair.
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: I'm a little creepy of here. A kink is like,
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: you know, come over and brush your hair.
- 1:39:32Speaker 6: See.
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: I think of it as completely completely opposite.
- 1:39:35Speaker 2: Do you think a kink is softer?
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: A kink is definitely softer. I think it's something you
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: could like joke around with at a dinner party or whatever.
- 1:39:41Speaker 5: A fetish is when you go out to get the
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: powder for the latex suit, but you don't tell anybody, right, right, right, right, right?
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: Don't take check? Well, deb is right and she has
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: the like facts to back her up.
- 1:39:52Speaker 22: So fat, So okay, I think I'm also, well, what,
- 1:39:59Speaker 22: you don't have a fetish, but I could see you
- 1:40:01Speaker 22: having a kink?
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: Well, this topic has got me to fetish. Let me
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: ask you a quick one. Let's talk about Jim's king.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: If we were having a conversation, right, Let's say you're
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: saying that. Let's say we were on a.
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: Date and I told you we got into a conversation, right,
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: and let's say we'd be going on a little bit right,
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: and I say to you, I have a fetish or
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: I have a kink?
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: Right fetish?
- 1:40:28Speaker 5: I'm gonna have questions kink. I'm gonna ask, so is
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: it watching other people have sex and publish so you
- 1:40:33Speaker 5: because that's happened and that can be pretty hot.
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: Let me tell you what.
- 1:40:37Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay, I just want to Now, let me
- 1:40:38Speaker 5: tell you a secret. They don't like it when men
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: stop and watch, but they don't mind performing for a girl.
- 1:40:43Speaker 8: Really.
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Okay, So if you heard me say I
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: have a kink or I have a fetish, you would
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: consider the kink more approachable and the fetish would be
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: less approachable because it's more personal and more like.
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: Well, a fetish is going to be your next level kink, right,
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: your your fetish is gonna have your red room in
- 1:41:04Speaker 5: fifty shades of gray.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: That is a fetish, yeah, but with something is kinky.
- 1:41:08Speaker 5: That's something kinky that couples will do on a Friday night,
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: Like I'm gonna be a redhead tonight and you're gonna
- 1:41:13Speaker 5: go to the bar and we're gonna pretend that every
- 1:41:16Speaker 5: Friday night it's stranger Night. Okay, so tonight, my blonde.
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: Is that kinky? That's kinky. I thought kinky was like
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: more physical than that. I thought kiki was maybe a
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: little gross.
- 1:41:26Speaker 5: It depends on what your kink is. But I think
- 1:41:28Speaker 5: fetish is like nipple clamps. Kink is like you just
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: liked it.
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: Yeah, So I think I found a pretty fun little
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: definition between pink and fetish, and I think it does
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: it require nipple clamps?
- 1:41:39Speaker 6: Again?
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: Is it, so just say that over and over. The
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: sword version is that a kink is any non conventional
- 1:41:47Speaker 2: sexual interest between two consenting adults. Okay, yeah, like you
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: sucked toes or we do stuff like that, right.
- 1:41:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:41:55Speaker 2: A fetish is a specific kind of kink in which
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: are is reliably tied to a particular non genital body part,
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: object material. Your scenary all the back shoulders lips that.
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: But I'm on fetishfinder dot com on sorry, very careful
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: with that. That's on. It says right here, every fetish
- 1:42:33Speaker 2: is a kink, but not every kink is a fetish.
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: Praise kink is a cank foot fetish is a fetish, Okay.
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: Yeah, so someone who can only be aroused if they're
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: involved in BDS up.
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask you guys real quick. All right,
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: we're also say we're dating, so it's just like this
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: is what animal house? Can I eat it? Let me
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: ask you guys something, right, if you meet a girl,
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: would you rather her have a fetish or a kink?
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: If you asked Jack, you're going out with somebody first time,
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: maybe third, fourth, or fifth time you've gotten to know
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: each other, you've gotten past that first uncomfortable thing. You're
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: just starting to kinda dive into the relationship and ask
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: some questions that are really kind of penetrating, you know,
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: some really good other questions. If you did that a
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: little better than that, would you rather that person have
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: a kink or a fetish? A kink a kink? You
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: would rather a kink because yes, you don't know. Wow,
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: his voice cracked. Dude, I'm leaning in. This is as
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: uncomfortable if I've ever seen.
- 1:43:44Speaker 6: I'm leaning in now.
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of how to describe that. You're
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: going through your road, is what you're doing. So let him.
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: Somebody just said that they you know, I've been listening
- 1:43:54Speaker 5: to you all for a while. You all crack me up.
- 1:43:56Speaker 5: But Jack kills me. Dude, is too funny, so continue
- 1:43:58Speaker 5: cank Finnish.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: I think a kink could be safer because the kink
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: doesn't have to be sexual. Okay, all right, So but
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: a fetish, we know is and if the fetish is
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: something really weird and that's your date, right, what am
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: I going to do? Yeah, she wants you to drink
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: like an ounce of tuna fish oil before you make it. Okay,
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: I don't, no, I can't all right, nobody is it
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: that bad? Are they tasting that bad?
- 1:44:27Speaker 5: Seven seven zero three on? A kink is tickling a
- 1:44:30Speaker 5: butt with a feather? Fetish is sticking the whole bird
- 1:44:33Speaker 5: up there?
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: All right, let me revisit that question. Then this really
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: seems like a like a whiskey bourbon stosh thing going on,
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: because I keep going back to this and it says
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: right here, every fetish counts as a kink, but not
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: every kink counts as a fetish. I'll pose the question
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: to you.
- 1:44:56Speaker 4: Then you're dating a girl four or five dates, you've
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: gotten past the end hilary kind of dating. We have,
- 1:45:01Speaker 4: we hooked up, but you've made out, we've made it,
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: so there's a little bit of a physical connection there,
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: and tonight might be the night. So if you get
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: in there and would you rather have this person have
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: a kink or a fetish, I think I'm.
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: Going and I don't know which one is which I'm
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: going kink to play it safe, because a fetish could
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: be like does not sound safe for some reason. But
- 1:45:26Speaker 2: what you're saying fetish, the fetish could be anything. The
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: fetish could be peepe stuff. You could say it wrong
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: or call it fetish. Yeah, that's what I guess.
- 1:45:36Speaker 5: I take the hair brushing fetish over some of the
- 1:45:38Speaker 5: other fetishes out.
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: Ye furry scene, you know, just because we're talking about
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: fetishes and kinks and stuff. I'm not gonna lie, and
- 1:45:46Speaker 2: I don't want to tease you, but I will because
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to share it. But
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: I just ran into a whole new kink that I'm into, Yeah,
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: which is I don't know if it's radio appropriate. I
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: don't think I could share it, but it was nice
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: to know that on my thirty seventh birthday, hell found
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: a new kink. God, you kind of have to tell
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: us I got into something. I you know what's I
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: was just gonna affect your wife. I don't think so
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: I will share it. I'm a man, yeah, all right,
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: and who needs a place to live? It's uh every
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: now and then, dude, I'm not afraid of a camera.
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: And but here's the thing. Here's the thing with yourself.
- 1:46:27Speaker 5: He has taken those selfies before that, He sends to
- 1:46:29Speaker 5: the missus.
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: Well, know what I'm talking about is that you just
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: use it for a mirror. You can use your selfie
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: camera so you like different angles and see different things
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: for yourself, for solo and checking for tics. Jesus, chick,
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: Jesus no, not for myself. Why would I record my
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: lonely time and then watch it back Because it's a
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: feintisher cake what we're getting at kink I just that
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: would be a wild feintish to sell to somebody. What
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: are you into? Well, sit down for a second. Yeah,
- 1:47:03Speaker 2: a sock and some alone time. I'm gonna send you
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: some videos. It's gonna explain it quite well. But it's
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: like you can use cell phones for like mirrors, but
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: you don't ever have to hit record D. You don't
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: want to do that. I don't want to do that,
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: just watching yourself do it. My Yeah, my iCloud is full,
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: but you can use it like a different yeah your
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: pie cloud. Yeah, this is different angles. It's like a yeah,
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: it's like, hey, check it out. This is what it
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: looks like from this angle. I never thought of that.
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: You could go ahead and pretend if you wanted to,
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: that it is recording or but don't record. I'm not
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: saying recording that you are.
- 1:47:38Speaker 5: And if you don't do everything I tell you too,
- 1:47:40Speaker 5: I'm gonna get anyway.
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: The next thing, you know, you're in a zoom meeting. Yeah,
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: but you could with a four K do. I'm like
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: the kink a little bit. Is that because you're so
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: not used to seeing you on camera doing that that
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: you almost like disassociate and you're like, dude, whoever's doing
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: this is putting in work.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: No I would.
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: I would look at that immediately thinking, by the way,
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: I thought it was way more athletic than that, way
- 1:48:05Speaker 4: more Yeah, but I'm not even moving.
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: That was literally not even twenty four hours old when
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: I okay, so it was your birthday. It's my birthday, dude.
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: I like cameras found a skank? Did you say cank
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: er skank? I don't know where to go? That's a
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: do right now. I think we should just go home.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: No mol or a tick. Yeah, you a way to
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: find out. You can get the lighter, you can put

- 1:49:15Speaker 18: If you have a kink in a hose, all you
- 1:49:19Speaker 18: have to do is shake it really hard and then
- 1:49:23Speaker 18: it comes out. But if you have a fetish and
- 1:49:27Speaker 18: a hose, you just gotta get a whole new, brand
- 1:49:30Speaker 18: new hose, or not even a hose, switch out the
- 1:49:33Speaker 18: hose for a bigger hose.
- 1:49:36Speaker 19: Maybe, yeam, Please please please use checking for ticks as
- 1:49:44Speaker 19: one as your one of your pick the porn titles.

- 1:52:45Speaker 2: One of her regular snacks is a whole lemon.
- 1:52:47Speaker 6: Yeah.

- 1:52:49Speaker 2: she is the first person to have one hundred million
- 1:52:50Speaker 2: followers on Instagram. You knew that though, right?
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: No?
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: I did not?
- 1:52:53Speaker 19: Right?
- 1:52:53Speaker 4: How much do you think each sponsored post that Selena
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: Gomez puts up is worth? In other words, what does
- 1:52:59Speaker 4: she get paid to post for a company.
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: Or a product? Fifty dollars, I'll go twenty five g's

- 1:53:16Speaker 2: she named after SNL star Fred Armison. Why I do
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: not get them?
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: And Selina's mom was just sixteen years old when she
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: gave birth a couple other things. She also set records
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: on Instagram. She currently only uses social media platform TikTok so,
- 1:53:31Speaker 4: even after becoming the number one you know follower or
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: you know personal number one followers. She left the platform
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: altogether and it was because of the comments she was
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: getting in the comments here, Oh wow, she has loopus,
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: which is one of the reasons she lost a kidney,
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: and then lastly year, right before going on stage to perform,

- 1:54:11Speaker 2: a fun no, but you tell them take it back?
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: Why'd you put that on my birthday card? Today's Thoughts
- 1:54:18Speaker 2: is actually going to be a small competition with our listeners.
- 1:54:21Speaker 2: That's gonna be a side plot for Today's Thoughts. Right
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: there are so many people asking me, ros so you're
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: gonna have a second kid, And I'm here to tell
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: you the only reason, the main reason why I would
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: have a second kid is because I want my son
- 1:54:35Speaker 2: to have that sibling experience. This past week on Good Sauce,
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: I was talking to Joel and we started going down
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: to the Mount Rushmore of sibling experiences. So all of
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: Central Florida be part of the challenge and we will
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: nominate the worst sibling story everyone has. I can't believe
- 1:54:56Speaker 2: my brother did this to me. I can't believe I
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: did this to my sister. Vice versa, YadA, YadA. I've
- 1:55:01Speaker 2: got some quivers and my you know, and my bolts
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: getting ready to get shot for today's Ross thoughts of
- 1:55:06Speaker 2: what I did to my brother and what he did
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: to me, Jack, start thinking about what you did to
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: your sister is because it's a sibling off who did
- 1:55:14Speaker 2: the worst thing to their sibling in Central Florida. We're
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: gonna find out after the break, Yes, we will back
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: in a second fresh Keyward two.
- 1:55:34Speaker 23: Hi Ross asking how it would be in the eighties
- 1:55:36Speaker 23: and nineties, keep in mind that the national anthem was
- 1:55:39Speaker 23: not a huge pregame event until the Global War on
- 1:55:43Speaker 23: Terror two thousand and three, two thousand and four. Back then,
- 1:55:47Speaker 23: in the old days, it was just these rise There
- 1:55:49Speaker 23: was a little.
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: Bit of color guard, no big damn Farry. You usually
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: missed it so different times, buds, take care. Wow do
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: you remember that? Do you guys remember it being like that?
- 1:56:01Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they definitely it became more of a thing, did
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: it really?
- 1:56:04Speaker 19: Oh yeah? Yeah?
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: Interesting? Then they added on the flyovers, and it's definitely
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: more pomp and circumstance. Now interesting I did not. For
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: some reason, I did. That does not hit with me.
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: For some reason, I've always felt that the national anthem
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: was a big deal at sporting events.
- 1:56:18Speaker 5: Well, you know, as someone who's taken in so many
- 1:56:21Speaker 5: sporting events throughout my life, I'm surprised I don't remember
- 1:56:24Speaker 5: that either.
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean playing baseball as a kid. We did
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: it when I was like fourteen, fifteen years old, and
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: the entire literally, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, welcome back
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: on Jim. There's dead Hello Jack. Yeah, And your six
- 1:56:34Speaker 2: o'clock keyword is preset r E s E t uh.
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: Just go to Real Radio dot FM and send that
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: await for your chance at one thousand bucks. Pre set. Guys,
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: that is your six o'clock keyword. Let's get some ross thoughts.
- 1:56:46Speaker 2: It's weird today, thoughts.
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: It's funny to you by sometimes my hero. It's row
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: Oh thanks Buddy, spelled like sauce. It's ross s thoughts.
- 1:56:57Speaker 2: That mortgage guy does that mortgage guy don guys, if
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: you don't know, he has his own shows Saturday mornings
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: right here on the greatest radio station that ever exists,
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: Real Radio, where they go over all of the questions
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: that you need the answers to if you don't know
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: anything about home loans or mortgages or refis mortgage guy
- 1:57:18Speaker 2: don that mortgage guy don dot com.
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: There you go.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: Now, I am here to bring up a topic from
- 1:57:25Speaker 2: this week's Good Sauce of with Ross and Joel, that
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: broadcast at eight o'clock tonight on that very station Nice.
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: And one of the things that was kind of the
- 1:57:33Speaker 2: media's topic is that my best friend Joel, who's in
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: his early forties, whoa wow, I know what early forties. Well,
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: he is a sixteen and a fourteen year old and
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: he just expressed to me that it's so much hate
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: you hate you, love you, love you, hate you, love you,
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: hate you love you, and it can be very exhausting.
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: And then they got me thinking about all the times
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: that I was a little brother, and then I thought
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: about it. Wait a second, everybody here on the Jim
- 1:58:01Speaker 2: Colbert Show, we all have siblings. We do, so I
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: am so curious and I and I asked before he
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: went to break the texting service, boy, did they come through?
- 1:58:11Speaker 10: Dad?
- 1:58:11Speaker 2: Did you read some of those texts? No? Oh yeah,
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: pull those texts up because I saw, I asked, Central
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: Florida what's the worst thing that you've done to your
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: sibling or the worst thing that your sibling has done
- 1:58:25Speaker 2: to you? And boy, there are some examples, like my
- 1:58:28Speaker 2: sister stole about five grand of my things and sell
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: them for drug money. Damn, including a sign Jimmy Hendrix record.
- 1:58:36Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:58:37Speaker 2: There's another text saying that he knocked out his little
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: siblings tooth and then when they both grew up, there's
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: a tattoo of a bloody tooth to you know, a
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: tribute to their siblings.
- 1:58:48Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: And I am so curious because Jim, you're a man
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: of integrity, the man knows no wrong. But you've a brother, yes,
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: which means you've done some bad stuff, bad bad gim
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: what is the worst thing you did to your sibling?
- 1:59:06Speaker 4: Like, was there a prank? Was there anything? I gotta
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: tell you, it's kind of the other way around. Do
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: you mind if I say that?
- 1:59:12Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: No, So she picked on you. Yeah, because here's the thing.
- 1:59:15Speaker 4: My sister was way younger than me, and we really
- 1:59:18Speaker 4: didn't spend a lot of time together when we were
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: young and didn't like have a lot in common, right,
- 1:59:22Speaker 4: So we didn't have this like real close sibling relationship.
- 1:59:26Speaker 2: But she used to love to get me in trouble
- 1:59:30Speaker 2: with my dad, right, And so what she would do
- 1:59:32Speaker 2: is is she would just out of nowhere scream, don't
- 1:59:37Speaker 2: do that, and then I would sit there in complete
- 1:59:42Speaker 2: wonderment and she would lose her mind like, oh, don't
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: you know and basically get me in so much trouble.
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: My dad would come around the corner and whip my
- 1:59:49Speaker 2: ass and never ask you what you did, and never
- 1:59:52Speaker 2: asked me what I did.
- 1:59:53Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 1:59:53Speaker 4: You just see when you know, my sister crying and
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: hollering and stuff, and I would just get tore up.
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: And she did that a lot, and it was a
- 1:59:59Speaker 4: pain in the ass.
- 2:00:00Speaker 2: I think it actually a little bit caused maybe how
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: we are, you know, the way we are now, because
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: I mean, dirty dude, she's playing like double Jeopardy R man.
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: She was it was not good. She's playing three and
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: she probably doesn't even remember because she was like two
- 2:00:13Speaker 2: three years old. But I would just get she was
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: a gangster. I'm telling youd. I would get my ass
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: war out because.
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: Because she would just scream, she would just do that.
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: She would just scream or just she would hit me,
- 2:00:26Speaker 4: and that I would hit her back. And then when
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: I would hit her back. She would start yelling for
- 2:00:30Speaker 4: Dad or mom.
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: It was terrible.
- 2:00:33Speaker 4: Was the worst drove actually kind of tell you something.
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: All jokes aside. It happened when we lived when I
- 2:00:40Speaker 4: was probably how old are you when you're in the
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: fifth grade? Okay, so that's when it happened. So she
- 2:00:46Speaker 4: was actually more like maybe six or seven at that time,
- 2:00:49Speaker 4: and it happened so much, and I thought I was
- 2:00:50Speaker 4: having a damn breakdown. I really did. I mean I
- 2:00:53Speaker 4: thought I was having like a minutally. I didn't like,
- 2:00:56Speaker 4: I didn't understand what fair was because I would always say, like,
- 2:00:59Speaker 4: she's doing it, and they.
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: Would never believe her. They would never believe me. And
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: there's still three of us listening to this right now,
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: knowing for a fact that you definitely did something that
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: the worst thing that you did to your brother, the
- 2:01:12Speaker 2: worst thing that your brother.
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: Did to you.
- 2:01:13Speaker 16: Ah.
- 2:01:14Speaker 5: We got into a knockout, drag out fight one night
- 2:01:17Speaker 5: in the basement, like blood blows. Oh yeah, I knocked
- 2:01:21Speaker 5: his bottom two through his bottom lip.
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's nice.
- 2:01:25Speaker 8: Do you remember what it was?
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: No, it's a kink.
- 2:01:27Speaker 5: But when we came upstairs, my parents were grilling, we
- 2:01:31Speaker 5: were gonna getting ready to have like a little you know, barbecue, Yeah,
- 2:01:34Speaker 5: some burgers on the grill. And my mom looked at me,
- 2:01:36Speaker 5: and she looked at my brother and she said, what
- 2:01:39Speaker 5: the hell happened? And I said nothing. We just had
- 2:01:42Speaker 5: some stuff to work out. So we just worked it
- 2:01:44Speaker 5: out in the basement.
- 2:01:45Speaker 8: How old were you?
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: I was twelve thirteen In the middle.
- 2:01:48Speaker 5: She's like, oh, okay, all right, so let me show
- 2:01:51Speaker 5: you how you really beat some mass Yeah. Right, and
- 2:01:53Speaker 5: then he almost I almost graduated with high school with
- 2:01:56Speaker 5: a black eye.
- 2:01:57Speaker 10: No way.
- 2:01:58Speaker 2: My second one take service said simple like this goes.
- 2:02:01Speaker 2: I don't know, sister pushed me in the fireplace. A
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: second where you put that, But my sister did push
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: me in the fireplace. If you guys see any of
- 2:02:13Speaker 2: the texts, just throw them out. How about this one?
- 2:02:15Speaker 2: When I was eleven, my brother twenty three tried to
- 2:02:18Speaker 2: kill me with a twenty two rifle. Yeah, I'll take
- 2:02:20Speaker 2: the busted lip any day, So you kind of gotta
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: go with the glass half full. Text were not the
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: attended murder ones or the drug money or tragedy ones.
- 2:02:29Speaker 2: We're looking for the funny ones. But Tex you have
- 2:02:33Speaker 2: what is it twelve thirteen sisters about that? Yeah, no,
- 2:02:36Speaker 2: it was like a mountain of six sisters, but one
- 2:02:40Speaker 2: was younger, so she and I and two years apart.
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: So she and I were the closest together. Not even Mormon, Yeah, no,
- 2:02:47Speaker 2: Catholic the RHYTHMD. So you're the second to youngest to
- 2:02:52Speaker 2: out direct the football team? Correct the gaggle of sisters? Yes,
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: and did you pick on that small sister? Did this
- 2:03:00Speaker 2: sister pick on you?
- 2:03:01Speaker 24: No?
- 2:03:01Speaker 2: I picked on her. I guess I did. I don't know.
- 2:03:04Speaker 2: I was being nice. Yeah, No, you picked on her?
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: Yeah I did. But not only did I pick on
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: her the next oldest sister, who I think was kind
- 2:03:13Speaker 2: of jealous of the young one because she was the
- 2:03:16Speaker 2: baby out of seven kids. She was getting all the attention.
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: So me and the next oldest, when my sister was
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: sleeping in bed, we pretended that we were robbers breaking in.
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: Oh my god, and we talked about killing her. So
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: we were crouched next to the bed. Said, hey, Mac,
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: you know there's someone in the bed. Should we kill them? Yeah,
- 2:03:38Speaker 2: let's kill them. So, yeah, it's happening. It's happening again. Here, Jack,
- 2:03:42Speaker 2: what's that you threw down? Another example, and it's really dark.
- 2:03:48Speaker 3: Murder.
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: And then we jump up and pretend to stab her
- 2:03:51Speaker 2: in the back, but you know, like hitting her with
- 2:03:55Speaker 2: your hand in the back, and then she jumps up
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: and then everyone has a good laugh after she screams
- 2:04:01Speaker 2: and go tells mom, how is your relationship with this sister?
- 2:04:04Speaker 2: Now we're thick as thieves? Right, yeah, better now than
- 2:04:08Speaker 2: it was. Then she got me back. I won money
- 2:04:14Speaker 2: in a bank giveaway once and I stupidly left it
- 2:04:20Speaker 2: in the Christmas stocking hanging on my bedroom door, and
- 2:04:23Speaker 2: she took that money was my gun to protect herself
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: from the robbers. I like, hell, you think that's eye
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: for and eye the whole fear of the death exactly? Yeah,
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: I know, I was at eleven bucks. The worst thing
- 2:04:39Speaker 2: that I ever did to my brother was actually in
- 2:04:41Speaker 2: correlation to the worst thing I think he ever did
- 2:04:43Speaker 2: to me. And there's plenty you every little brother can
- 2:04:46Speaker 2: rattle off, like a quick mount rushmore of worse things
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: than I. I once got locked out naked on my
- 2:04:52Speaker 2: back patio and then he told me to the front
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: door is open, so I had to run around naked
- 2:04:57Speaker 2: this apartment complex. Bro the worst, Yeah, that's where you
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: get the Really, I fell in between a wall and
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: a bed and they're just so happened to be a
- 2:05:07Speaker 2: kitchen knife in my brother's room. So and then he
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: grabbed the kitchen knife and then he like dragged the
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: dull side, like on my legs and on my chest
- 2:05:15Speaker 2: and the little brothers or something else. But by far,
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: this is what you want to give to your side.
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: Really yeah yeah, not when I say it out loud,
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: but the worst slash best moment that still micks me laugh.
- 2:05:29Speaker 2: The worst the guy I ever did to my little
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: to my older brother was find out that he's not
- 2:05:34Speaker 2: cool in middle school. The second I found out that
- 2:05:37Speaker 2: my brother was getting picked on in public school kind
- 2:05:42Speaker 2: of gave me the like little brother or a confident
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: vibe of like I'm gonna dunk on my brother. So
- 2:05:48Speaker 2: I would make fun of them a little bit more
- 2:05:50Speaker 2: and I would poke fun and all that. And one
- 2:05:52Speaker 2: day I wanted to play a board game with them.
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: It was Stratago, and he stretigo.
- 2:05:57Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 2:05:57Speaker 2: I always get to and I know I've shared this,
- 2:06:00Speaker 2: I think once before, but when I gave him Stratigo,
- 2:06:03Speaker 2: he put the flag right there in the front so
- 2:06:05Speaker 2: he would lose quick and then I pushed him and
- 2:06:08Speaker 2: he pushed me, and I said, who do you think
- 2:06:10Speaker 2: you are? Mega man? This man stepped back and then
- 2:06:14Speaker 2: unleashed a street fighter kicked my eye socket. Bah I
- 2:06:21Speaker 2: my eye socket gets lacerated by the toenail and we
- 2:06:26Speaker 2: immediately go to the hospital. And it's the biggest I
- 2:06:29Speaker 2: hate you, I hate you, I love you, I love
- 2:06:31Speaker 2: you moment that my brother and I as ever we've
- 2:06:34Speaker 2: ever had. And it's just got me thinking, like, if
- 2:06:38Speaker 2: I were to have a second child, like, what is
- 2:06:42Speaker 2: going to happen because siblings, I mean, imagine twins. Imagine
- 2:06:47Speaker 2: twins when they get in disagreements. Dude, I think Lord
- 2:06:49Speaker 2: of the Rings happens, or Game of Thrones happens when
- 2:06:51Speaker 2: twins get in disagreements like Brad here uh it says,
- 2:06:54Speaker 2: or like this one here says, my older sister simply
- 2:06:57Speaker 2: pushed me out of a running car.
- 2:07:01Speaker 4: I broke my younger brother's arm. I stole my brother's
- 2:07:03Speaker 4: ATM to go to the Grateful Dead show, but he
- 2:07:05Speaker 4: pushed me out of a slow moving car.
- 2:07:06Speaker 2: Years earlier, Melissa Tex said, I'm glad I was an
- 2:07:10Speaker 2: only child. Yeah, oh yeah, just Teresa said.
- 2:07:12Speaker 5: One time, I put masking tape all over my sister's face,
- 2:07:15Speaker 5: including her eyebrows. When we pulled the tape off, of course,
- 2:07:17Speaker 5: all of her hair came out. That was my worst
- 2:07:20Speaker 5: moment for my sister.
- 2:07:21Speaker 4: Yeah, my sister's ten years old. I put her in
- 2:07:22Speaker 4: the closet and started piling clothes on her. We were
- 2:07:24Speaker 4: playing Star Wars Compactor.
- 2:07:31Speaker 2: Those are your ross thoughts, man, reach out to your brother,
- 2:07:33Speaker 2: reach out to your sister. It's worth a phone call
- 2:07:37Speaker 2: and just reminiss over those times, because I recently did
- 2:07:39Speaker 2: that with my brother and boy and got me thinking
- 2:07:42Speaker 2: maybe a second child isn't out of the picture, because
- 2:07:46Speaker 2: I would love to have my son have those sibling experiences.
- 2:07:50Speaker 4: I'm out, peace, all right. Four seven nine six four
- 2:07:52Speaker 4: one text us seven seven zero three one. Got a
- 2:07:55Speaker 4: bunch of things we'll wrap up before we get out
- 2:07:56Speaker 4: of here today.
- 2:07:57Speaker 2: We'll do that next.
- 2:07:58Speaker 8: That's the blood.
- 2:07:59Speaker 21: I'm the biggest bitch that you'll ever meet. But it's
- 2:08:02Speaker 21: only when the blood is coming out of me. If
- 2:08:04Speaker 21: it's coming out of someone or something else, I'm fine
- 2:08:07Speaker 21: with it. But if it comes out of me turning
- 2:08:10Speaker 21: colors and falling down, it's like reverse Darwinism. Okay, I
- 2:08:16Speaker 21: love you goodbye. So the worst thing for me.
- 2:08:20Speaker 24: With this Vaso vega whatever deal is is being cut
- 2:08:24Speaker 24: by cardboard a Manila envelope, or getting somebody who doesn't
- 2:08:28Speaker 24: know how to do it really well to draw blood. Yeah,
- 2:08:31Speaker 24: that is the by far worse for me. And running
- 2:08:35Speaker 24: with a really bad crowd. When I was younger, I've
- 2:08:37Speaker 24: been shot and stabbed in fights. I've shot myself with
- 2:08:41Speaker 24: a nail gun on accident. I've cut myself with a
- 2:08:43Speaker 24: chainsaw in circular saw an accident. And nothing beats cardboard.
- 2:08:48Speaker 2: Really, my baby.
- 2:08:50Speaker 25: Brother refused to help clean up during the summer break.
- 2:08:54Speaker 25: I tie him to a dining room chair, leave him
- 2:08:57Speaker 25: in the middle of the living room. Forget that it's
- 2:09:01Speaker 25: daytime when it's happened.
- 2:09:03Speaker 2: So I'm out way. It gets dark. My parents haven't
- 2:09:08Speaker 2: come home yet.
- 2:09:09Speaker 25: My brother's sitting in the middle of the living room
- 2:09:11Speaker 25: and pitch black darkness. He's sixty two years old today, afraid.
- 2:09:16Speaker 2: Of the dark, still afraid of the dark. That's funny, Okay,
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: it's a well said sir saucer full of secrets. Light
- 2:09:27Speaker 2: the candle, flip the bandage. Did he say it's a
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: saucerful of secrets. Light the candle.
- 2:09:38Speaker 7: He did.
- 2:09:39Speaker 2: Flip the pancake. Flip the pancake at a boy, go
- 2:09:42Speaker 2: get him what Welcome, Welcome back to the Jim Culbert
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: Show a radio one oh four point one. I am Jim.
- 2:09:50Speaker 2: There is dem Hello Jack and Ross like, I don't
- 2:09:53Speaker 2: want it to stick, but I do. Just this weird
- 2:09:58Speaker 2: flagelent tradition talking there. I think he calls, when you're here, Preset,
- 2:10:05Speaker 2: that is your six o'clock you work pr E s
- 2:10:07Speaker 2: E T. Got a real radio dot FM and send
- 2:10:09Speaker 2: that off for your chance at one thousand bucks. Presets
- 2:10:10Speaker 2: the word good luck, get that money, Get that money. Indeed.
- 2:10:15Speaker 4: So we talked about new TV shows all the time here,
- 2:10:19Speaker 4: and I've been watching documentaries lately. But last night my
- 2:10:22Speaker 4: wife went to bed a little bit early, so I
- 2:10:24Speaker 4: had the living room to myself. So I said, well,
- 2:10:27Speaker 4: let's see, let's seem to.
- 2:10:33Speaker 2: Be the mayor of fab City. Want did you check
- 2:10:39Speaker 2: out this camera thing that Ross was talking about? They
- 2:10:43Speaker 2: see if the strangers in town? You hold it with
- 2:10:49Speaker 2: my rid.
- 2:10:51Speaker 4: Anyway, And so I watched a couple episodes of Hawk
- 2:10:55Speaker 4: last night. Uh oh, which is the will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, golf,
- 2:11:01Speaker 4: uh product out there with I think what the golf product. Yeah,
- 2:11:05Speaker 4: it was actually one of the most interesting people of Finser.
- 2:11:08Speaker 4: What's her last name? What's her first name? Finster, Yeah,
- 2:11:13Speaker 4: something like that.
- 2:11:14Speaker 2: Are you talking about the lesbian Yeah, the blonde girl
- 2:11:16Speaker 2: the oh yeah, she's funny. She's just Caddy in the movie.
- 2:11:19Speaker 2: So like it's you know, so I watching the show.
- 2:11:21Speaker 2: The show is about to wash up golfer who's kind
- 2:11:23Speaker 2: of a bombastic kind of guy, you know, and Fortune Fortune,
- 2:11:28Speaker 2: Finnmeister or something like that, Rightemster, Femster.
- 2:11:31Speaker 4: Okay, it is way better fortun Berger. I think I
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: think savannahs met her a number of times for some reason.
- 2:11:40Speaker 4: Jingle Heimer, Femster. So it's an episodic show. I turned
- 2:11:45Speaker 4: it on last night because it's golf related. It's got
- 2:11:47Speaker 4: Will Ferrell, two of my favorite things. I actually love
- 2:11:50Speaker 4: Will Ferrell movies.
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: I'm so cut it I have not but I'm gonna
- 2:11:54Speaker 2: be judgementsil and I'm a little surprised by my own
- 2:11:57Speaker 2: take here. I don't think I'm gonna like it. You're
- 2:11:59Speaker 2: not gonna like it because it's terrible. Everyone's trashing Oh
- 2:12:04Speaker 2: it is. It's awful, like I'm saying, it is awful,
- 2:12:09Speaker 2: like it's not. It's not a good vehicle. It wouldn't
- 2:12:12Speaker 2: be a good vehicle for anybody. And I think if
- 2:12:14Speaker 2: anybody could pull that character off, it would be fairal
- 2:12:17Speaker 2: but he's done this so much, this whole overboard, you know,
- 2:12:21Speaker 2: sports guy, whether it be in Semi Pro or Blades
- 2:12:24Speaker 2: of Glory, it's any one of those characters. Pick him out.
- 2:12:27Speaker 4: He's just applying that to golf, and it's he's ten
- 2:12:29Speaker 4: years late. He's ten years late on this product.
- 2:12:32Speaker 2: That is not good. Don't watch it. I didn't laugh
- 2:12:35Speaker 2: one time. There was not one redeeming scene in the
- 2:12:40Speaker 2: entire I think I watched two and a half or
- 2:12:42Speaker 2: three episodes, Oh my god, and it got worse per episode.
- 2:12:45Speaker 2: How do you get that far into it to see
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: if it turned around like an episode four? Guy rights
- 2:12:50Speaker 2: that usually, No, this happens all the time. I come
- 2:12:54Speaker 2: in here.
- 2:12:55Speaker 4: I'm like, well, I've watched the show, and Jack will
- 2:12:57Speaker 4: go every single time you make it episode four and
- 2:12:59Speaker 4: I'm like, well that I'm on episode three. He goes
- 2:13:01Speaker 4: forest word all changes, and to be honest with you,
- 2:13:03Speaker 4: he's been damn accurate. Yea, like almost every one of
- 2:13:05Speaker 4: these shows that I don't really kind of get into
- 2:13:07Speaker 4: once I get to episode four, which seems to be
- 2:13:09Speaker 4: like the turnaround episode when they start springing stuff on you.
- 2:13:12Speaker 2: Uh, this thing never did anything. It is so bad.
- 2:13:15Speaker 2: That's in real series. This thing is just over the
- 2:13:19Speaker 2: like a big a way too long snl sketch.
- 2:13:22Speaker 6: So bad.
- 2:13:22Speaker 4: You're right, that's exactly what it is. And I gues
- 2:13:25Speaker 4: this is a character on the show. You can easily
- 2:13:27Speaker 4: see him bringing it out like once every once a
- 2:13:29Speaker 4: month maybe.
- 2:13:30Speaker 2: And people would flip a couple of minutes and then
- 2:13:32Speaker 2: move on. Yeah, I'm a big fan of this show.
- 2:13:35Speaker 2: Although I think the criticism of like they're me and
- 2:13:38Speaker 2: I'm surprised also buy this take, But the criticism that
- 2:13:41Speaker 2: people had with the show stick. I loved the show's stick.
- 2:13:45Speaker 2: I haven't seen an episode of that. I loved the
- 2:13:48Speaker 2: show's stick. Now the criticism of like, what's Owen Wilson, right,
- 2:13:51Speaker 2: that's Owen Wilson, And I understand I understand the take
- 2:13:56Speaker 2: of like why is there why are we having a
- 2:13:58Speaker 2: trans discussion in the show. In fact, I kind of
- 2:14:02Speaker 2: am okay with that criticism. I wish that that storyline
- 2:14:06Speaker 2: really wasn't as big of a forefront on that show.
- 2:14:09Speaker 2: But other than that, Owen Wilson Stick the comedy is great,
- 2:14:13Speaker 2: and he's acting phenomenal, and he can play. He's actually
- 2:14:15Speaker 2: a pretty good player.
- 2:14:16Speaker 11: He's well.
- 2:14:17Speaker 2: That was one of my biggest complaints about Stick is
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: that every time you saw this retired you know, professional golfer,
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: swinger golf club, it was a beautiful swing in the dark.
- 2:14:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you see like a silhouette of someone standing in
- 2:14:30Speaker 2: for own.
- 2:14:31Speaker 4: Yeah, well, Farrell has no swing. It's it's not good
- 2:14:34Speaker 4: at all. It really, to be honestly with you, it
- 2:14:36Speaker 4: looks like something that Sandler would do. That's kind of
- 2:14:39Speaker 4: what it feels like, is an Adam Sandler kind of Uh,
- 2:14:42Speaker 4: what's a what's the movie?
- 2:14:43Speaker 2: He had to deal more?
- 2:14:44Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks like a happy Gilmore movie. That is
- 2:14:45Speaker 4: exactly what it looks like. He tries to get the crazy,
- 2:14:48Speaker 4: wacky characters in there, and it doesn't work.
- 2:14:51Speaker 2: Nothing hits.
- 2:14:52Speaker 4: See the scenes that are supposed to have punchlines and
- 2:14:55Speaker 4: laughs before they transfer or or transitioned to another scene
- 2:14:59Speaker 4: aren't laughable.
- 2:15:00Speaker 2: They're not funny. It might be how it came about
- 2:15:03Speaker 2: because Happy Gilmore two on Netflix was direct to Netflix
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: did well, and maybe they're like, okay, now we need
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: a series. Yeah, and you have Will Ferrell. I mean,
- 2:15:12Speaker 2: you know, obviously one of the best comedic actors we've
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: had in the last twenty five thirty years. But I
- 2:15:17Speaker 2: think he's just kind of played. Man. I just think
- 2:15:19Speaker 2: that characters played out for me.
- 2:15:20Speaker 6: It is now.
- 2:15:21Speaker 2: I mean, we had just so many text in they
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: thought it was awesome, so I and also, God, this
- 2:15:25Speaker 2: is gonna sound so pretentious. Is it an age thing?
- 2:15:28Speaker 7: No?
- 2:15:28Speaker 2: No, no, it's not an age thing, a golf thing.
- 2:15:30Speaker 2: It's a golf thing. It's a golf thing for me.
- 2:15:32Speaker 2: If you know how to play the game of golf.
- 2:15:34Speaker 2: It's hard to enjoy shows like this because here's the thing.
- 2:15:39Speaker 2: If he had a good swing and it was the show,
- 2:15:41Speaker 2: it would be different. But like, nothing they do here
- 2:15:43Speaker 2: is really golfy. It's all kind of bs. None of
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: that stuff that they're doing there really happens in golf.
- 2:15:49Speaker 2: So I watch episode one of a series that I like,
- 2:15:52Speaker 2: Season three just came out and I didn't even realize it.
- 2:15:55Speaker 2: I just brought it up and saw, oh wow, look
- 2:15:57Speaker 2: at that because I actually I was looking up Lucky
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: and instead of Lucky, I watched this show and I
- 2:16:03Speaker 2: don't even know if you've seen anyone in the first
- 2:16:06Speaker 2: two seasons Silo. No, I haven't seen that. And the
- 2:16:10Speaker 2: funny thing is is, ever I saw that last night
- 2:16:12Speaker 2: when I was looking for what do we call it? Like,
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: what was the movie you just said Lucky, and I
- 2:16:17Speaker 2: saw Silo because it always comes up in the top
- 2:16:19Speaker 2: ten feud or whatever. And I didn't watch it because
- 2:16:22Speaker 2: we watched the show so similar to it. Remember the
- 2:16:25Speaker 2: one I told you that had where they were underground, right,
- 2:16:29Speaker 2: and they had an entire society kind of underground. It
- 2:16:31Speaker 2: kind of reminded me of that, and I seen I've like,
- 2:16:34Speaker 2: I've seen all the we got to be we're forced
- 2:16:36Speaker 2: to live in this place kind of things. So that stopped. Anyway,
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: It's good. I like it, but season three just just drown.
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: I don't even know how many episodes because Apple TV
- 2:16:46Speaker 2: does one of those things where they only released one
- 2:16:49Speaker 2: episode a week. Yeah. I know what we're watching tonight though,
- 2:16:51Speaker 2: because my wife is into it and it is taking
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: over the world hot d because that's what I'm doing.
- 2:16:58Speaker 2: I I missed last week's episode, what is hot d No, No, no,
- 2:17:02Speaker 2: it's it's House of the Dragon. There's some brothers sister Stone. Yeah, no,
- 2:17:12Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't.
- 2:17:14Speaker 8: It's for trauma.
- 2:17:15Speaker 2: It's not like a sexy we're trying to talk about.
- 2:17:17Speaker 6: Okay.
- 2:17:18Speaker 2: It's a show called the Ultimatum. Have you heard this? No,
- 2:17:21Speaker 2: it's a look you know what's taking over when you
- 2:17:24Speaker 2: ask it though it sounds threatening, Yeah, taking over?
- 2:17:26Speaker 8: Is this?
- 2:17:26Speaker 4: You know, Love It First Diet, Love, Island, Love at
- 2:17:29Speaker 4: First Sight, blind Love, all these shows where they forced
- 2:17:33Speaker 4: couples to kind of confront of each other. That's what
- 2:17:34Speaker 4: the ultimatum is. So the ultimatum is this A number
- 2:17:37Speaker 4: of couples come to this resort, right, and they're on
- 2:17:40Speaker 4: the verge of going one way or the other. Right,
- 2:17:44Speaker 4: one person in the relationship has given the other person
- 2:17:47Speaker 4: and ultimatum, in other words, ask me to marry you
- 2:17:50Speaker 4: or move the blank on. So these people have been
- 2:17:53Speaker 4: in not long term, but you know two or three
- 2:17:56Speaker 4: year relationships, year long relationships.
- 2:17:58Speaker 2: So are those long? What is what is a long relationship?
- 2:18:02Speaker 2: Seven years? Okay? So these guys are in like, like,
- 2:18:04Speaker 2: you know, moderately long relationships. So they've they've been together
- 2:18:07Speaker 2: a while, they're they're reaching that point. And the whole
- 2:18:09Speaker 2: deal is when you come to the island, you get
- 2:18:11Speaker 2: the ultimatum, you date. The other people that got ultimatums,
- 2:18:15Speaker 2: and the people that are giving the ultimatums have to
- 2:18:18Speaker 2: watch the date happen. So, in other words, Deb and
- 2:18:21Speaker 2: I go into Deb and I go to uh, do
- 2:18:24Speaker 2: the ultimatum on your again?
- 2:18:26Speaker 8: Wait?
- 2:18:26Speaker 2: Wait, you guys are dating. I'm with you because let's
- 2:18:33Speaker 2: let's really messed up. It's hr playing the music. This
- 2:18:38Speaker 2: is the this is the waiting music you hear when
- 2:18:40Speaker 2: you call hr uh. So you and I are dating, Right,
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: we go to this island. You've given me an ultimatum. Right,
- 2:18:47Speaker 2: You're like, you better put a ring on it or
- 2:18:49Speaker 2: get the blank out. I'm gonna go find somebody that
- 2:18:51Speaker 2: I'm because I'm ready to have kids. I'm ready to
- 2:18:53Speaker 2: settle down the whole nine yards. Right, So I give
- 2:18:56Speaker 2: you the I get it doesn't have to deal with
- 2:18:58Speaker 2: the stretch marks. You give me theultimatum. And let's say
- 2:19:01Speaker 2: that that Naomibradshaw dot com and Jack arn and so
- 2:19:04Speaker 2: is Ross and Olivia. Right, So, since you've given me
- 2:19:07Speaker 2: the Ultimatum. You go out and you date Jack and Ross.
- 2:19:11Speaker 2: All right, I have to sit and watch the date happen.
- 2:19:14Speaker 2: You're the cock. Well, this is a bit of a cux.
- 2:19:17Speaker 2: It's really odd. Is this a drama or a game shows?
- 2:19:20Speaker 2: It's like a reality show it sounds like. But I
- 2:19:22Speaker 2: gotta tell you it was enthralling because here's the thing.
- 2:19:26Speaker 2: The people weren't overboard that they chose. Because a lot
- 2:19:29Speaker 2: of these shows will choose people that are kind of
- 2:19:31Speaker 2: overboard and dramatic. There's only one of one or two
- 2:19:34Speaker 2: of those, but a lot of these people learn a
- 2:19:36Speaker 2: lot about each other, and you kind of see how
- 2:19:39Speaker 2: that works out. You think a couple of them, we're
- 2:19:40Speaker 2: gonna split up, and then you know, you get it
- 2:19:42Speaker 2: later and they're like, you know, they're in good shape.
- 2:19:44Speaker 4: So another episode comes out tonight, I think the season four. Yeah,
- 2:19:48Speaker 4: the season finale of The Ultimatum.
- 2:19:50Speaker 2: Comes out tonight. This this is your wife's favorite show.
- 2:19:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you these shows they found it. This
- 2:19:56Speaker 2: is like the survivor of this era. They found it.
- 2:19:58Speaker 2: They found this.
- 2:20:00Speaker 4: This this form formula where they just kind of get
- 2:20:02Speaker 4: couples onto a secluded place and make them do some
- 2:20:06Speaker 4: uncomfortable stuff and it kills, dude, it kills. And you
- 2:20:10Speaker 4: know the other thing they do that's really smart. And
- 2:20:12Speaker 4: this is gonna sound silly. Not everybody on the show
- 2:20:16Speaker 4: is so overboard good looking good so need some ugly
- 2:20:20Speaker 4: people on reality TV. It's not that they're ugly ross,
- 2:20:22Speaker 4: but it is interesting. Back in the early days when
- 2:20:25Speaker 4: they did these shows, everybody looked like a model, and
- 2:20:28Speaker 4: you're like, well, how could not anybody there be happy
- 2:20:31Speaker 4: with the other person? They're all beautiful people this show.
- 2:20:33Speaker 4: They're good looking people, no question, but they're not like
- 2:20:36Speaker 4: that that next level like fake good looking, which makes
- 2:20:40Speaker 4: it seem kind of more real to you.
- 2:20:41Speaker 2: Do you think I could be on the show? Yes,
- 2:20:44Speaker 2: all of us could do it. But am I ugly enough?
- 2:20:46Speaker 21: No?
- 2:20:47Speaker 2: I mean it doesn't he well if you if you
- 2:20:50Speaker 2: have Olivia with it, you're fine?
- 2:20:53Speaker 3: What is that?
- 2:20:54Speaker 2: What does Olivia look like? When I'm not there? Then
- 2:20:56Speaker 2: what I'm saying is.
- 2:20:59Speaker 4: I don't know, Like I couldn't tell you if any
- 2:21:01Speaker 4: of the guys are handsome, but I know a couple
- 2:21:03Speaker 4: of the girls are pretty good.
- 2:21:04Speaker 2: Are cute girls? You're gonna tell you don't have two
- 2:21:07Speaker 2: beers I can't tell a guy if he's a hanswer
- 2:21:09Speaker 2: or not. I have says he can jack music with
- 2:21:12Speaker 2: the Jesus with the With the exception of like obvious
- 2:21:16Speaker 2: good look at dudes like you're Henry Cavill's and guys
- 2:21:19Speaker 2: like that, you could go, Okay, well that guy's like
- 2:21:21Speaker 2: classically handsome. You can figure that out. Huh is he
- 2:21:25Speaker 2: good looking?
- 2:21:26Speaker 8: Is he really?
- 2:21:26Speaker 5: I don't know, as long as he doesn't talk, yeah,
- 2:21:29Speaker 5: as soon as he opens his mouth.
- 2:21:31Speaker 2: But this is fun because it's a very fun way
- 2:21:34Speaker 2: to find out that you're a Henry Cavill guy. Well
- 2:21:38Speaker 2: that's twice you brought him up on this topic.
- 2:21:40Speaker 4: Come up, like I think most Hollywood actresses think he's
- 2:21:44Speaker 4: the best you can dude in Hollywood.
- 2:21:45Speaker 2: Like, I mean, I'm not saying anything I've never heard.
- 2:21:49Speaker 2: I've never heard anybody say that before. You would have
- 2:21:53Speaker 2: some fun. Ever, you would have some fun. Oh careful.
- 2:21:55Speaker 2: Go to YouTube and YouTube Henry Easy Henry Cavil interviews
- 2:22:01Speaker 2: and watch the women who are giant Hollywood stars react
- 2:22:05Speaker 2: to Henry Cavill just making eye contact. Dude, It's crazy
- 2:22:09Speaker 2: and who else these chicks are like giant Hollywood goddesses,
- 2:22:14Speaker 2: and Cavil melts them to their pants. Who else melts
- 2:22:17Speaker 2: people like that? I don't know, Like, there's no it
- 2:22:22Speaker 2: would be back in the day. It would be like
- 2:22:23Speaker 2: your Brad Pitts and stuff. Right, So he's also a
- 2:22:25Speaker 2: b that's two strikes right there. Anyway, you want to
- 2:22:31Speaker 2: have some fun anyway, go to YouTube check out my
- 2:22:37Speaker 2: history folded Girls. It's just skate videos and tool videos.
- 2:22:43Speaker 2: That's all it is. It's gonna a couple of golf
- 2:22:47Speaker 2: some YouTube golf stuff, that's it.
- 2:22:51Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:22:51Speaker 2: I think, uh, I think I would like when it
- 2:22:55Speaker 2: comes to attractive Hollywood male stars, he says it cuck Island.
- 2:23:04Speaker 2: It's like a really really big chair that you sit. Yeah,
- 2:23:07Speaker 2: but yeah, most attracted dude. Yeah for me, I think
- 2:23:13Speaker 2: I might go like Mortensen. You know who my wife
- 2:23:15Speaker 2: thinks is a very attractive Vigo. Yeah he's older though, Yeah, yeah,
- 2:23:20Speaker 2: this is who my and my wife doesn't really do
- 2:23:23Speaker 2: this ever, she doesn't really ever mention when other people
- 2:23:26Speaker 2: are good looking. She knows how sensitive I am. I'm joking.
- 2:23:29Speaker 2: It's not the truth Walking Dead.
- 2:23:32Speaker 4: The guy who played Nagan, Oh yeah, yeah that I
- 2:23:35Speaker 4: don't know what his I don't know what his name is,
- 2:23:37Speaker 4: the dude that had the bat with the with the
- 2:23:39Speaker 4: the barb wire around it, the bad guy, the last
- 2:23:41Speaker 4: bad guy. She was a gigantic fan of him. You've
- 2:23:46Speaker 4: got to do that for Halloween. There's a Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
- 2:23:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that's him.
- 2:23:50Speaker 4: There's a video where he's doing an interview and he
- 2:23:53Speaker 4: turns to the camera and winks. And my wife had
- 2:23:55Speaker 4: that as her screensaver.
- 2:23:56Speaker 16: For a while.
- 2:23:58Speaker 2: Sure, there's nothing that you see here. I mean, that's wild.
- 2:24:01Speaker 2: That was a screen saber. Did not affect me at all.
- 2:24:04Speaker 2: You guys look alike. Oh you know, Jack, what.
- 2:24:10Speaker 5: Have you guys do have like the same kind of
- 2:24:12Speaker 5: rugged face?
- 2:24:14Speaker 2: So obvious. You guys are being dicks, that's the thing.
- 2:24:17Speaker 2: You direct that to that room. Yeah, you just said it.
- 2:24:20Speaker 2: You just said you got a rugged face, and you
- 2:24:22Speaker 2: were lying. No, I was not, as I do.
- 2:24:25Speaker 5: If I didn't think you'd have a rugged face, I
- 2:24:27Speaker 5: wouldn't pitch your ass back over, but yours more?
- 2:24:33Speaker 2: What about my rugged buddy rug? Indeed, get back on camera.
- 2:24:39Speaker 2: Rugged face. I don't know if I would describe your
- 2:24:42Speaker 2: face as ruggy. Oh yeah, you could see him on horseback.
- 2:24:45Speaker 2: I can see him getting taken down by the Ghostbuster.
- 2:24:48Speaker 2: Get out of here. God, damn your face. You got
- 2:24:56Speaker 2: me the face. A guy whould eat a blue cheese
- 2:25:00Speaker 2: with both hands, like you know how the monsters and
- 2:25:03Speaker 2: Starship Troopers like killed the Troopers, they would like suck
- 2:25:07Speaker 2: the soul. Yeah, I feel like I've gotten bold a
- 2:25:10Speaker 2: couple of times from Starship Troopers. Somebody put a suit
- 2:25:15Speaker 2: on your water. Yeah, yeah, my lows are quite low.
- 2:25:20Speaker 2: I've had a couple of highs. But what's coming up
- 2:25:25Speaker 2: for You heard it here from.
- 2:25:28Speaker 5: A model Scout has been found dead Amid and Epstein investigation.
- 2:25:33Speaker 5: You and I kind of talked about that a little
- 2:25:35Speaker 5: bit earlier. Tropical Storm Bertha is bearing down on Louisiana
- 2:25:39Speaker 5: and Taco Bell rolls out a deal after that cyclosporiasis outbreak.
- 2:25:46Speaker 5: I know there's not one sandwich in Orlando right now,
- 2:25:49Speaker 5: and we'll talk about that next during your Heart.
- 2:25:51Speaker 2: Your First.
- 2:25:53Speaker 1: On YouTube.
- 2:26:00Speaker 8: I used to say it, but I'm agree with Jimmy.
- 2:26:02Speaker 12: I have to give a show at least two or
- 2:26:04Speaker 12: three tries in an episode, so see if I like
- 2:26:08Speaker 12: it or not.
- 2:26:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:26:09Speaker 8: I hated the.
- 2:26:10Speaker 2: Very first episode or two of the expand, but it
- 2:26:14Speaker 2: got better and better the longer you watch it.
- 2:26:16Speaker 8: Shows are just like that, but it's will fall. Yeah,
- 2:26:20Speaker 8: probably not.
- 2:26:21Speaker 2: Yeah, agreed, buddy.
- 2:26:23Speaker 16: So many years ago, my brother and I in our
- 2:26:26Speaker 16: early teenage or like fourteen, fifteen year old we're working
- 2:26:30Speaker 16: out in the yard, very hot day.
- 2:26:32Speaker 6: My brother goes in to go get some.
- 2:26:34Speaker 2: Lemonade, comes back out with a cupful of ice. I
- 2:26:38Speaker 2: take a big giant step. I'm really really thirsty, and
- 2:26:41Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, that tastes like the ocean. Yep,
- 2:26:46Speaker 2: deep peede in it.
- 2:26:49Speaker 8: Let me tell you what that is.
- 2:26:51Speaker 4: That is an ass weapon. They would write a book
- 2:26:52Speaker 4: about that is That would be a documentable. That's not
- 2:26:58Speaker 4: even a word.
- 2:26:58Speaker 2: I don't think that would go on better years. It
- 2:27:00Speaker 2: doesn't matter. A world doesn't care about what is a order?
- 2:27:02Speaker 2: Isn't Oh that was oh my word? Fans out there,
- 2:27:06Speaker 2: how about that bomb today that I missed? Completely sketchy
- 2:27:11Speaker 2: twenty five day streak going in today? Oh that sucks.
- 2:27:14Speaker 2: It's the worst. All right, welcome back. I'm Jim. There's
- 2:27:17Speaker 2: deb Hello, Jack, YopE and Ross as well. That's true.
- 2:27:22Speaker 4: Coming up tomorrow, we'll have Chloe g in. It tells
- 2:27:25Speaker 4: us what's happening in our land On the weekend, Glinton
- 2:27:27Speaker 4: Clausman will drop by for Colbert Court Glenn's segment.
- 2:27:31Speaker 2: Very very very popular. Indeed, I love it.
- 2:27:34Speaker 4: And by the way, we've had a really good day day,
- 2:27:36Speaker 4: a lot of people just sitting over some really nice stuff.
- 2:27:38Speaker 4: Thanks as for all the kind words.
- 2:27:39Speaker 2: We appreciate it. Thank you for listening. Our goal every
- 2:27:41Speaker 2: day is to try to entertain you, make you smile
- 2:27:43Speaker 2: a little bit, maybe think a tiny bit. But today
- 2:27:45Speaker 2: was a lot of fun, for sure. Forget the world,
- 2:27:48Speaker 2: I remind you. Yeah, right, flip the pancake. Happy birthday, Ross,
- 2:27:53Speaker 2: Thanks Day, Happy birthday.
- 2:27:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 2:27:57Speaker 2: And I think it's worth noting. I don't want to
- 2:27:59Speaker 2: throw my wife underneath the bus, but her gifts is
- 2:28:02Speaker 2: still in the mail. Where I'm going with this is
- 2:28:05Speaker 2: that you guys were my only gifts. Oh really, so
- 2:28:09Speaker 2: I really appreciate that. But listen, man, we love you
- 2:28:12Speaker 2: very much and we love having you around.
- 2:28:13Speaker 1: No.
- 2:28:14Speaker 2: Sorry, your other friends suck. Yeah, your other friends do
- 2:28:17Speaker 2: suck well. I also had a friend buy me a dinner.
- 2:28:21Speaker 2: Joel got me beer and a chicken parm sandwich. Oh dude,
- 2:28:24Speaker 2: that's great for a father of two. That's wonderful. What
- 2:28:27Speaker 2: a good gift for sure. I got the Chicken Park
- 2:28:30Speaker 2: Extra Chrispy, All right dead, Let's do you heard it
- 2:28:34Speaker 2: here first?
- 2:28:35Speaker 1: Good time for you.
- 2:28:37Speaker 2: Heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:28:40Speaker 5: And you heard it here first is brought to you
- 2:28:41Speaker 5: by Stellar Knights at Orlando Science Center. Now through office first.
- 2:28:45Speaker 5: See the lineup and grab your tickets at OSC dot org.
- 2:28:48Speaker 5: But please arrive early. Their shows are filling up quickly.
- 2:28:52Speaker 5: A model scout with alleged connections to Jeffrey Epstein has
- 2:28:55Speaker 5: been found dead at a home near Paris, France. French
- 2:28:58Speaker 5: officials say Daniel Saya had been identified as a person
- 2:29:02Speaker 5: prosecutors planned to question as part of an ongoing investigations
- 2:29:06Speaker 5: into associates of Epstein.
- 2:29:08Speaker 2: Darnard.
- 2:29:08Speaker 5: This just got right into their timeline, right, just yeah.
