- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Piggyboo Hauntings. I'll be your
- 0:28Speaker 1: witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to all
- 0:31Speaker 1: things paranormal, weird and spooky. I'm really excited about this
- 0:38Speaker 1: first story, So how don't we get right into it? Huh?
- 0:43Speaker 1: Our first story is called My Nurse was a Ghost.
- 0:49Speaker 1: In twenty twenty, at the beginning of COVID, I had
- 0:54Speaker 1: just given birth. At this time, I could only have
- 0:57Speaker 1: one person in the room with me my entire stay
- 1:01Speaker 1: at the hospital. Of course, my kid's father was there,
- 1:07Speaker 1: but the third day he left to clean up our
- 1:10Speaker 1: house and get everything prepared for me and baby. I
- 1:15Speaker 1: had gotten sick and had a C section, so I
- 1:19Speaker 1: had to stay for about four to five days. Well,
- 1:23Speaker 1: while he was away, a nurse called Kelly said she
- 1:27Speaker 1: would be helping me through the day and spending time
- 1:31Speaker 1: with me so I don't feel lonely while dad is gone. Ah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: What a sweet nurse. I love when nurses actually feel
- 1:42Speaker 1: warm and caring towards their patients. I understand they have
- 1:46Speaker 1: a lot going on within their jobs and are overworked,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but when you're stuck in the hospital, a nurse that
- 1:54Speaker 1: seems to really care means the world to you in
- 1:57Speaker 1: those moments, and I know you probably appreciated having someone
- 2:02Speaker 1: there with you because I'm sure you didn't want to
- 2:05Speaker 1: fill alone after just giving birth and having a sea section.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I've heard how awful a sea section can be, so
- 2:14Speaker 1: having someone there with you is the best thing for you.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I couldn't really hold my baby do to me being
- 2:24Speaker 1: sick in the pain from the sea section, so my
- 2:28Speaker 1: nurses would come in every time it was time to feed.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I noticed when they came in they wouldn't acknowledge Kelly,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and she would go to the furthest part of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: room and she would tell me, I'm just going to
- 2:43Speaker 1: get out of the way now. She did tell me
- 2:46Speaker 1: that she didn't specialize in what they did, she was
- 2:50Speaker 1: just there for comfort, so I didn't question anything. The
- 2:55Speaker 1: entire day. She was so helpful and encouraging to me.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I really believe I would have broken down if she
- 3:05Speaker 1: wasn't there with me. She was such a sweetheart. Well,
- 3:14Speaker 1: after five to six hours, she told me she had
- 3:17Speaker 1: to leave and that she would come to visit me
- 3:20Speaker 1: before her ship was over to see how I was doing.
- 3:25Speaker 1: She hugged me and blew a kiss to my baby
- 3:28Speaker 1: and walked out of the room. Seriously, what a sweet woman.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I wasn't even there, and I can just feel the
- 3:37Speaker 1: love from that nurse. It's so heartwarming it even warms
- 3:44Speaker 1: the ice block in my chest. Dad came back and
- 3:50Speaker 1: he was very upset. He had told me some stuff
- 3:54Speaker 1: happened with his mom and that he was sorry he
- 3:58Speaker 1: took so long. Was upset, but I told him. A
- 4:03Speaker 1: nurse named Kelly kept me company as I'm telling him
- 4:08Speaker 1: about her. My nurse is changing my sheets and she's like,
- 4:12Speaker 1: who's Kelly, I explained, and she said nobody named Kelly
- 4:18Speaker 1: was in my room or working that day. So I
- 4:23Speaker 1: instantly thought about those women who would pretend to be
- 4:27Speaker 1: nurses and kidnap children. But my nurse told me that
- 4:33Speaker 1: I may be hallucinating, and she told my doctor. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: talked to my doctor and he said the same thing. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 1: a couple of hours later, a nurse that I didn't
- 4:46Speaker 1: recognize came in my room and said, I know this
- 4:51Speaker 1: might sound crazy, but everyone on the floor is talking
- 4:56Speaker 1: about how you seen Kelly. I said, yeah, she was
- 5:00Speaker 1: here with me for like seven hours today. She helped
- 5:03Speaker 1: out a lot. We're smiling and laughing while I'm telling
- 5:08Speaker 1: her about Kelly and how sweet and funny she was.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Then she pulled out her phone and showed me pictures
- 5:16Speaker 1: of her and Kelly that looked like they maybe early
- 5:19Speaker 1: two thousands. I was smiling, knowing that I wasn't hallucinating.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Then she sat down and told me Kelly died over
- 5:29Speaker 1: ten years ago from domestic violence with her boyfriend. That
- 5:34Speaker 1: piece of shit. Why do men always have to snuff
- 5:38Speaker 1: out the brightest of lights. I wasn't too shocked because
- 5:42Speaker 1: my entire life I've been dealing with a pair of
- 5:44Speaker 1: normal But I got chills because I never had an
- 5:49Speaker 1: encounter this deep. Well, the lady gave me a hug
- 5:54Speaker 1: and started crying, saying, now I know she is okay.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Since that day, I've been wondering why did Kelly come
- 6:03Speaker 1: to my room and help me. I kind of wish
- 6:07Speaker 1: I could see her again. Well, clearly you needed her
- 6:14Speaker 1: in that moment, and even in death. She takes her
- 6:16Speaker 1: job seriously. I don't know if she worked in the
- 6:21Speaker 1: postpartum hall a lot, or if she just felt protective
- 6:25Speaker 1: of women after what happened to her. Maybe she could
- 6:30Speaker 1: sense you were going through it and when you were
- 6:32Speaker 1: left alone. She felt you needed someone there with you
- 6:37Speaker 1: to keep you calm. I mean, you did have a
- 6:39Speaker 1: c section, so you need to be as stress free
- 6:43Speaker 1: as you can. You can't even pick up your own baby,
- 6:49Speaker 1: after all, so leaving you alone probably is an ideal.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So a loving and funny nurse would be the best
- 6:58Speaker 1: thing for you to get to keep your mind at ease. Sadly,
- 7:04Speaker 1: you probably won't meet her again unless you end up
- 7:07Speaker 1: back in the hospital and she feels pulled to come
- 7:10Speaker 1: help you in your time and need, just like any
- 7:13Speaker 1: other nurse. But hey, she's not the only one that
- 7:18Speaker 1: helped someone that day. You helped her friend by letting
- 7:23Speaker 1: her know Kelly is doing well and still doing the job.
- 7:26Speaker 1: She seemed to have loved. All right, why don't we
- 7:33Speaker 1: move on to our next story. This one is called
- 7:37Speaker 1: got lost in the woods for eight plus hours as
- 7:41Speaker 1: a little girl and saw something unexplainable. I grew up
- 7:47Speaker 1: in a dense forest rural area in central Virginia, and
- 7:53Speaker 1: like most kids my age ten at the time of
- 7:56Speaker 1: this story, I spent a lot of time playing in
- 7:59Speaker 1: in around the woods. My best friend and I had
- 8:03Speaker 1: found a creek one day while exploring different deer trails
- 8:06Speaker 1: through the woods. This creek we happened on was a
- 8:10Speaker 1: very rare, fine and the perfect spot for us to play.
- 8:15Speaker 1: It was wide and deep enough to swim around in
- 8:18Speaker 1: and had nice soft moss banks on either side to
- 8:23Speaker 1: rest on after we had tired ourselves out. I don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: like that it's deep enough to swim in, especially with
- 8:30Speaker 1: YouTube being alone in the woods, something could easily happen
- 8:35Speaker 1: to you and it would take a while to get help.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I know this is more normal in the rural areas,
- 8:41Speaker 1: but for me, I could never just go out to
- 8:44Speaker 1: the woods to play. The water was cool and clear,
- 8:50Speaker 1: no copperheads, and no mosquitoes because the water was constantly running.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I don't like this creek. The more you talk about it,
- 9:00Speaker 1: It's going to pul one of you under, isn't it.
- 9:05Speaker 1: We were psyched After a few hours of swimming. We
- 9:08Speaker 1: had to walk back home for lunch, but made plans
- 9:12Speaker 1: to pack lunch the next day so we could have
- 9:15Speaker 1: a picnic on the creek banks and spend the whole
- 9:19Speaker 1: day there. I'm not gonna lie. I thought one of
- 9:22Speaker 1: you was going to get pulled under the water and
- 9:24Speaker 1: taken away. Instead, you had a fun day at the
- 9:27Speaker 1: creek in the woods. That's my bad for thinking the
- 9:30Speaker 1: worst of this story already. The next morning, we set
- 9:35Speaker 1: out for the woods around one pm, planning to have
- 9:39Speaker 1: a picnic first and swim after. We entered at the
- 9:44Speaker 1: same spot we had the previous day and followed what
- 9:47Speaker 1: we thought was the same deer trail. It was not.
- 9:52Speaker 1: At the point where we should have found the creek.
- 9:55Speaker 1: We walked into a small clearing that was covered in huge,
- 10:00Speaker 1: thick ferns. We had definitely never walked past this before,
- 10:06Speaker 1: so being both hungry and tired of walking, we decided
- 10:11Speaker 1: to eat in the clearing. Am I the only one
- 10:15Speaker 1: that feels like this is like a Faye trap now?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Because I'm not gonna lie, this kind of sounds like
- 10:21Speaker 1: a Fay trap now. We laughed and played around there
- 10:26Speaker 1: for a while, spitting watermelon seeds at each other from
- 10:29Speaker 1: our lunch. It was an absolute blast and we were
- 10:34Speaker 1: both in wonderful, giddy moods. That all changed, however, as
- 10:41Speaker 1: soon as we packed up and set back out to
- 10:44Speaker 1: find the creek. As we walked on, the woods started
- 10:49Speaker 1: to feel darker and colder. We got skittish, and I
- 10:53Speaker 1: noticed my friend kept whipping her head around to look
- 10:56Speaker 1: behind us. After about a half hour of walking, we
- 11:01Speaker 1: came up on what looked like an eerie, overgrown bathroom.
- 11:07Speaker 1: A whole random bathroom was just in the middle of
- 11:11Speaker 1: the woods, Like, why was it there? Seriously? Are we
- 11:17Speaker 1: sure this isn't a vage drabb sink, toilet, and bathtub
- 11:24Speaker 1: all sitting arranged together and covered in ivy. It's pretty
- 11:29Speaker 1: common to find weird shit like this in the middle
- 11:31Speaker 1: of the woods, is it. I mean, I'm probably not
- 11:37Speaker 1: the one to talk, since I don't find myself in
- 11:39Speaker 1: the woods like you guys, But seriously, how is this
- 11:44Speaker 1: a common thing to find? How? So we just walked
- 11:52Speaker 1: on and made jokes to lighten the mood, calling it
- 11:56Speaker 1: Bigfoot's bathroom? Wait? Wait, is this gonna be a Bigfoot story?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Maybe I should just stop guessing At this point, I
- 12:07Speaker 1: clearly can't figure out what's going on. After another hour
- 12:14Speaker 1: of walking and not seeing anything we recognized, we started
- 12:19Speaker 1: to panic. Instead of trying to reach the creek, we
- 12:23Speaker 1: were now just trying to find her way back home
- 12:26Speaker 1: or out of the woods. At least. I told her
- 12:32Speaker 1: we should follow the sun and eventually we would come
- 12:35Speaker 1: up to a road or someone's property where we could
- 12:39Speaker 1: find help. She insisted on another way, and we begin
- 12:44Speaker 1: yelling at each other out of fear. And let's be honest,
- 12:48Speaker 1: little girl bossiness. I told her, if she thought she
- 12:53Speaker 1: was so right, she should just go her way and
- 12:56Speaker 1: we should see who got out first. So we split up. Now,
- 13:02Speaker 1: as an adult, I fully acknowledge I was being a
- 13:06Speaker 1: stubborn brat and also an idiot. Worst possible thing we
- 13:11Speaker 1: could have done. Oh my god, it really is the
- 13:14Speaker 1: worst thing you could have done. Not ten minutes after
- 13:18Speaker 1: splitting up, I begin to hear someone walking maybe one
- 13:22Speaker 1: hundred feet behind me. Thinking it was my friend deciding
- 13:26Speaker 1: to go my way after all, I slow down so
- 13:30Speaker 1: she can catch up to me. Instead, whatever it was
- 13:36Speaker 1: matched my pace. I slow down, it slows down. I stop,
- 13:42Speaker 1: it stops. This went on for hours. The whole time
- 13:50Speaker 1: I was going back and forth on whether or not
- 13:54Speaker 1: it was in my head or there was actually something
- 13:57Speaker 1: following me. I picked up a big stick, swung it
- 14:01Speaker 1: a few times to make sure it was sturdy if
- 14:04Speaker 1: I had to hit someone and trucked on Carol. I
- 14:10Speaker 1: get having a weapon just in case, But why did
- 14:13Speaker 1: you not run you could have been kidnapped so easily.
- 14:20Speaker 1: As it began to get dark, I came up on
- 14:24Speaker 1: something that made my heart sink into my stomach. It
- 14:30Speaker 1: was Bigfoot's bathroom. I had just walked in a huge
- 14:35Speaker 1: circle for hours, despite being one hundred percent sure I
- 14:41Speaker 1: was following the setting sun west the entire time. Confused
- 14:47Speaker 1: and frustrated, I sat down on a log and just
- 14:51Speaker 1: screamed my little heart out while smacking my whoop as
- 14:54Speaker 1: stick repeatedly into the ground. As I tried to collect myself,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I heard footsteps again walking up on me from behind.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I called out my friend's name as loud as I
- 15:09Speaker 1: could no answer. Then, after a short pause, the steps
- 15:15Speaker 1: began to run towards me. I jumped up and booked
- 15:20Speaker 1: it as fast as I could in the opposite direction.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Now this is the truly horrifying part which I typically
- 15:30Speaker 1: omit while telling people this story. As I was sprinting
- 15:35Speaker 1: through the darkening woods, I begin to hear what I
- 15:38Speaker 1: thought was church bells. I looked up to see the darkest,
- 15:45Speaker 1: deepest cloud I have ever seen in my life in
- 15:49Speaker 1: the middle of it. It was so black it was
- 15:52Speaker 1: like looking into the night sky in the dark gray
- 15:56Speaker 1: around it seemed to be swirling, and it gave me
- 16:01Speaker 1: a horrible feeling to look at, almost like nausea you
- 16:05Speaker 1: get looking through binoculars too long. What's sicking me further
- 16:11Speaker 1: is that I realized the sound of the bells was
- 16:15Speaker 1: coming through the hole in the cloud. What the hell,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I guess I was wrong about it being a Bigfoot story, though,
- 16:24Speaker 1: never heard of a black cloud that makes the sound
- 16:27Speaker 1: of church bells when it comes to Bigfoot. Oh well,
- 16:33Speaker 1: it doesn't sound like the fake either, So I was
- 16:38Speaker 1: really bad at guessing any of this. Huh. They were
- 16:43Speaker 1: deafeningly loud, I mean, really booming out of this thing.
- 16:50Speaker 1: When I realized this, I stopped dead in my tracks.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I felt a sense of absolute and overwhelming dread that
- 16:58Speaker 1: had gone unmatched in all of my twenty four years
- 17:01Speaker 1: on this planet. Something in my head began screaming that
- 17:07Speaker 1: if I did not run away from whatever the hell
- 17:10Speaker 1: this cloud was, no one would ever see me again.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I would be gone. I did not want to run
- 17:19Speaker 1: towards a thing chasing behind me, either, though, so I
- 17:23Speaker 1: made a sharp write and took off away from both.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It was now completely dark and I was running blind
- 17:31Speaker 1: through the woods, smacking through branches, wheezing and tripping every
- 17:35Speaker 1: few feet for what seemed like an hour, until I
- 17:40Speaker 1: smacked into something low and flew over it, hitting the
- 17:45Speaker 1: ground so hard all of the air in my lungs
- 17:49Speaker 1: was knocked out of me. As I lie there trying
- 17:53Speaker 1: to recover, I realized I couldn't hear the bells anymore.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Then my eyes adjusted to the dark, and I realized
- 18:03Speaker 1: what had just made me go ass over teeth was
- 18:07Speaker 1: an old fence got a freeze by the way. Grabbing
- 18:14Speaker 1: hold of it, I prayed it would lead me to
- 18:16Speaker 1: a farm, and sure enough it did. I walked up
- 18:23Speaker 1: over the hill about a mile to the back of
- 18:26Speaker 1: the farmhouse, explained what had happened, and the farmer graciously
- 18:32Speaker 1: gave me a ride back home. I was covered head
- 18:37Speaker 1: to toe and scratches, oozing blood, and more exhausted than
- 18:41Speaker 1: I had ever been in my life, but I was
- 18:45Speaker 1: finally safe. It was past nine pm when I finally
- 18:51Speaker 1: walked through my front door. My friend had gotten back
- 18:54Speaker 1: shortly after we split and figured I had as well.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So haddn't told you I was lost? I was just
- 19:03Speaker 1: out after dark, which wasn't uncommon for me. They were
- 19:08Speaker 1: shocked when I walked in, be up and crying. Nobody
- 19:13Speaker 1: had been looking for me at all. To this day,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I wonder how long they would have waited to come
- 19:20Speaker 1: find me, if I hadn't been lucky enough to find
- 19:23Speaker 1: the fence, and if it would have been too late.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm sorry boy. I'm happy you got out,
- 19:33Speaker 1: and I get the feeling you had some help from
- 19:35Speaker 1: the other side. But still I wonder if that thing
- 19:40Speaker 1: that was following you was separate from the cloud or
- 19:42Speaker 1: with it, because I could see the two working together
- 19:46Speaker 1: at corner you. But either way, I have never heard
- 19:51Speaker 1: of a cloud like that with bells coming from within it,
- 19:56Speaker 1: especially when that chases after people. If anyone has, can
- 20:01Speaker 1: you tell me what it is and what it is doing,
- 20:05Speaker 1: cause I sure don't know whatever these things were. I'm
- 20:10Speaker 1: happy you got out of there and made it home safe,
- 20:14Speaker 1: maybe beat up, but still safe. Let's move on to
- 20:19Speaker 1: our last story for today. My son knows things he shouldn't.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I have four sons. My oldest is six, and he's
- 20:29Speaker 1: the one I'm curious about. Damn, having four kids under
- 20:34Speaker 1: six already sounds like a henful. And you might have
- 20:38Speaker 1: a psychic kid. On top of that, you seem to
- 20:41Speaker 1: have a rough huh, since he was very young, first
- 20:46Speaker 1: learning to talk, and he occasionally said things that don't
- 20:49Speaker 1: make any sense for him to know. We were on
- 20:53Speaker 1: vacation with my in laws at the beach when he
- 20:56Speaker 1: was two and a half and he had a blast
- 20:59Speaker 1: in a water with my husband and I. The next day,
- 21:03Speaker 1: we got up bright and early to go back, and
- 21:06Speaker 1: he adamantly refused. He kept insisting that there are alligators
- 21:12Speaker 1: in the water. We tried to reason with him that
- 21:16Speaker 1: alligators don't live in seawater, but he wasn't having it. Well.
- 21:22Speaker 1: My husband had taken one of our twins, almost a
- 21:25Speaker 1: year old, into the water and they were playing. A
- 21:29Speaker 1: few moments later, a man comes running from the pier,
- 21:33Speaker 1: yelling at him to get out of the water and
- 21:35Speaker 1: for us to get away from the water. He explained
- 21:40Speaker 1: that while watching the water from the pier, he saw
- 21:44Speaker 1: an alligator just underneath the water, stalking my husband from
- 21:48Speaker 1: a distance. Holy shit, your husband is so lucky that
- 21:54Speaker 1: guy saw the alligator and warned him, because it would
- 22:00Speaker 1: I've definitely attacked your son or your husband. God, that
- 22:04Speaker 1: would have been awful. He called nine one one and
- 22:10Speaker 1: animal control arrived and were eventually able to locate and
- 22:14Speaker 1: capture the alligator. It was eight feet long. There had
- 22:20Speaker 1: been storms during the night, and it was mating season.
- 22:24Speaker 1: The explanation was that he was looking for a mate
- 22:29Speaker 1: and had come in through the freshwater river that runs
- 22:31Speaker 1: into the sea. But how could my son have known
- 22:36Speaker 1: about that hours before it happened. Another time, I was
- 22:42Speaker 1: going outside to do yard work and he told me
- 22:46Speaker 1: not to go near the bushy tree, the fig tree,
- 22:50Speaker 1: because there was a rattlesnake under it. I thought it
- 22:54Speaker 1: was just a childhood imagination. I'm doing the yard work
- 22:59Speaker 1: and I go over to that tree to see if
- 23:02Speaker 1: any figs are ripe, and I heard the rattle. I
- 23:06Speaker 1: looked down and I was about three feet away from
- 23:09Speaker 1: a rattlesnake, and it wasn't happy to see me. I
- 23:16Speaker 1: quickly got away as not to disturb it further and
- 23:20Speaker 1: hope it would go on its way. He shouldn't have
- 23:24Speaker 1: known it was there. Another time, we were going to
- 23:29Speaker 1: go visit my mom and he was asleep. We hadn't
- 23:34Speaker 1: told him where we were going because she had a
- 23:37Speaker 1: surprise for him. We got in the car and he said,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you can't go that way to Grandma's because the bridge
- 23:46Speaker 1: is out. We always went that way if my husband
- 23:50Speaker 1: was driving and the bridge had been fully operational the
- 23:54Speaker 1: day before. Sure enough, we get to the bridge and
- 24:00Speaker 1: it's taped off with a detour sign. There's no way
- 24:06Speaker 1: he should have known because word hadn't gotten out yet,
- 24:11Speaker 1: especially since my cousin is a local supervisor and he
- 24:15Speaker 1: didn't tell anyone about it until after I called him.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I honestly find this a little creepy because I can't
- 24:24Speaker 1: logically explain it. It's not creepy at all. It's pretty simple.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You've got a baby's psychic on your hands. Honestly, I
- 24:36Speaker 1: just go with it like you don't have to explain
- 24:38Speaker 1: it to him anytime soon. But if he warns you
- 24:40Speaker 1: about something I don't know, just maybe listen to his warnings.
- 24:44Speaker 1: They seem to be there to keep your family safe. Oh,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and get ready for things to get weirder. Before you
