- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things. You Alright, here we go just after six
- 0:04Speaker 1: o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thank you for starting your
- 0:07Speaker 1: day with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 2: As you know by now, there was not an extra
- 0:13Speaker 2: Stranger Things episode yesterday, but Netflix did announce a bunch
- 0:17Speaker 2: of new shows and movies coming this year. You can
- 0:19Speaker 2: expect a Nola Holmes three, a new series called Man
- 0:23Speaker 2: on Fire, and season two of Avatar the Last Airbender,
- 0:26Speaker 2: all coming this year. Turns out that was the big announcement,
- 0:30Speaker 2: a bunch of new things happening this year in Netflix,
- 0:33Speaker 2: not a secret episode of Stranger Things. Obviously a lot
- 0:36Speaker 2: of people are bummed about that, but it is what
- 0:39Speaker 2: it is. Everybody who's very convincing online, they really had me.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I started to really believe that it might be true.
- 0:46Speaker 2: The official Nashville Saint Patrick's Day Parade and Festival has
- 0:49Speaker 2: been announced. It's been announced for March fourteenth. It's gonna
- 0:52Speaker 2: happen in five points. They're currently taking applications for people
- 0:55Speaker 2: to march in the parade and to be vendors. So
- 0:58Speaker 2: if you're interested, there's more on their Instagram at Irish
- 1:01Speaker 2: Network Nashville. But you can expect live entertainment, drinks, merriment,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and a whole lot of green, just like any good
- 1:08Speaker 2: old Saint Patrick's Day celebration deserves, and Bath and Bodyworks
- 1:14Speaker 2: may have.
- 1:14Speaker 3: One of the worst smelling candles ever.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Several customers reacted negatively to this one specific candle.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's pizza and Ranch that.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Uh huhs so on TikTok, Facebook and the company's website,
- 1:30Speaker 2: they got a lot of really negative comments about it,
- 1:33Speaker 2: so much so that the company had to put out
- 1:35Speaker 2: a statement saying that they will not be restocking it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: According to the candle's description, it has a quote gooey cheese,
- 1:42Speaker 2: fragrance notes and quote crispy Pepperoni's and Ranch. But most
- 1:47Speaker 2: people who sniffed it absolutely hated it. I'm kind of
- 1:50Speaker 2: bummed because I went onto their website just to see
- 1:52Speaker 2: if maybe there was like one left or a few
- 1:56Speaker 2: left that I could get one to smell it.
- 1:58Speaker 3: They're all entirely out of Yeah, I was going, I
- 2:00Speaker 3: can't find them anywhere.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Then putting out the statements saying, oh, we're discontinuing this.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everyone hates it. That's gonna make it fly off the shelves.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So it was smart marketing. On their their part because
- 2:09Speaker 2: it worked. It's not online anymore. They do have other ones.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It's part of their like perfect pair, uh line or
- 2:17Speaker 2: something like that. So like they have salsa and chips
- 2:19Speaker 2: as well, which is really random. But everyone just specifically
- 2:23Speaker 2: hated the pizza and ranch. Well, I'm rick Sanchez, and
- 2:27Speaker 2: those are the three.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Things you need to know.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I would love to smell that it's killing me walking
- 2:31Speaker 1: into a pizza joint or something.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I know which sounds delightful.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I agree with you. I agree, all right, Thank you, Ricky.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Here's Justin Bieber getting back into the music on this
- 2:39Speaker 1: Thursday morning. We do have those Debielevado tickets on the
- 2:42Speaker 1: way and win for the first caller of the day
- 2:43Speaker 1: with him ten.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Minutes, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning, everybody.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Say good morning to Denise and La Fayette. Good morning,
- 2:55Speaker 2: Good morning, welcome to one O seven five of the River.
- 2:58Speaker 3: What are you doing this morning?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Are you on your way to work?
- 3:00Speaker 5: School?
- 3:00Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 3:01Speaker 2: I'm on my way to work.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I just throught my kids off.
- 3:04Speaker 2: What do you do for work? I work retail, retail, Oh, Denise, girl,
- 3:10Speaker 2: I did that for years.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I don't know how you do it. There are days
- 3:13Speaker 3: that I literally.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Imagined just I don't even know slimy my head into
- 3:18Speaker 2: a wall to help myself get through it.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Sometimes it's really rough.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I feel that every day.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Can you tell us, sorry, can you tell us where
- 3:26Speaker 1: you work?
- 3:27Speaker 6: I work for a Dollar General?
- 3:28Speaker 5: Oh okay, were you guys like super Slam during the holidays?
- 3:32Speaker 1: Yes, very much, so it makes sense.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I have like ptsc flashbacks right now my days working
- 3:39Speaker 2: in retail.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Well, I want to know where you worked. Where did
- 3:42Speaker 1: you work retail?
- 3:43Speaker 2: I used to work, and this is going to be
- 3:44Speaker 2: a throwback. Some people may not even remember it.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But Delia's, Oh.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So I worked at Delia's and I worked
- 3:50Speaker 2: at Justice. Okay, yeah, I worked for both of those.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And while I loved the people I worked with, the
- 4:00Speaker 2: people that came into my job, we're going away is
- 4:02Speaker 2: the greatest people. There's nothing like an angry mom.
- 4:07Speaker 5: I feel that people are angry every day.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Right and it's like, why are you so mad? Like
- 4:11Speaker 2: you're shopping, you should be having a good time. Why
- 4:13Speaker 2: are you mad at me? I'm just literally here to
- 4:16Speaker 2: help you get.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Don't take it out on Denise and Ricky go to
- 4:19Speaker 1: therapy yes, yes, well Denise, Hey you want to go
- 4:24Speaker 1: see Demi Levado? Yes, I do.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Oh my gosh.
- 4:27Speaker 1: All right, you're the first caller of the day. Yay,
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah it's Denise.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Who are you gonna take with you?
- 4:32Speaker 6: Probably one of my girlfriends.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm excited, amazing. We're excited for you. It's
- 4:37Speaker 2: gonna be a nice time, a nice way to uh
- 4:40Speaker 2: decompress after the day of dealing with the angry people.
- 4:42Speaker 2: But we hope that today is a really good day
- 4:45Speaker 2: for you. Nobody's gonna be angry. You're gonna have nothing
- 4:47Speaker 2: but nice customers. It's gonna be a lovely day for you, Denise.
- 4:50Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I'm just gonna make them talk to my boss if
- 4:53Speaker 2: they're angry.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling. Thanks for starting your day with us.
- 4:57Speaker 1: We're gonna put you on hold to get all your
- 4:58Speaker 1: infok Okay, thank you, thank you. Why do people why
- 5:02Speaker 1: do they take out their their frustrations on you know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: retail workers and servers and stuff.
- 5:06Speaker 2: It's just I don't know, because I've been both and
- 5:09Speaker 2: it's not easy.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That's why they need to go to therapy.
- 5:12Speaker 5: It's a misplacement of anger.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you know the amount of times I used to
- 5:15Speaker 2: say that I was the manager.
- 5:18Speaker 3: They'd be like, I want to see your manager.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I'm like, you're looking at her surprises me zero, I
- 5:23Speaker 2: was not the manager.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Is seventeen years old. If we have more of these
- 5:28Speaker 1: DEBI tickets tomorrow.
- 5:29Speaker 7: Wake up Happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 5:33Speaker 4: On seven five the River.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Good morning. I'm excited about something today and I want
- 5:40Speaker 1: to I wanna honestly tell you guys a secret. Can
- 5:42Speaker 1: I tell you a secret?
- 5:43Speaker 3: I love secrets. That is why my hair is so big.
- 5:45Speaker 3: It's full of them.
- 5:45Speaker 5: What is it, Kevin?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Well, I'm taking my wife somewhere tonight and I've been
- 5:49Speaker 1: telling her for a couple of weeks. I just keep
- 5:51Speaker 1: Thursday night open. We're gonna do something. And then yesterday
- 5:53Speaker 1: I told my kids. So now I'm trusting them.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Oh that's a big task for that, I know.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But we're gonna play a song and then I'll tell
- 6:01Speaker 1: you what's going on tonight. But we just you have
- 6:03Speaker 1: to promise me circle of trust. Okay, I'm square, all right,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you next.
- 6:07Speaker 4: On the River Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the Morning.
- 6:12Speaker 2: You need to know one thing about me. It's that
- 6:14Speaker 2: I love a good secret. It's one of seven five
- 6:16Speaker 2: the River. Kevin is about to share a secret with
- 6:20Speaker 2: both Zach and I and now you as well, of
- 6:23Speaker 2: a secret date you're taking your wife on.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I am and I teased this a second ago. I said,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'll tell you my secret a minute. But now that
- 6:28Speaker 1: they're actually here, I'm a little nervous and I don't
- 6:30Speaker 1: want to.
- 6:30Speaker 3: You look very Kevin.
- 6:32Speaker 4: You have to.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I'm so excited about that.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I've been keeping this in for like a month and
- 6:35Speaker 1: it's not a big deal, but we just I never
- 6:37Speaker 1: really do this in never surprise Alley and take her
- 6:39Speaker 1: somewhere like you know, basically blindfolder until we're there. Uh,
- 6:43Speaker 1: she knows we're going out tonight. I saw and again
- 6:46Speaker 1: Circle of Trust. Here nobody tell her. She's sleeping right now,
- 6:48Speaker 1: so she's not hearing this. I saw a while ago
- 6:51Speaker 1: that her favorite childhood movie is gonna be back in
- 6:53Speaker 1: theaters for like two days, basically because it's the one movie.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It's called Labyrinth with David.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Bow Wow.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Choice.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It's an old one. She loved it when she was
- 7:03Speaker 1: a kid, though our kids have never seen it. But
- 7:05Speaker 1: I do think it's appropriate. It's a little dark, but still,
- 7:08Speaker 1: so we're gonna go see that tonight. She has no
- 7:09Speaker 1: idea its in theaters, She has none, no idea of
- 7:11Speaker 1: any of that. So we're gonna take our we're gonna
- 7:12Speaker 1: go to a nice dinner, and then we're gonna go
- 7:14Speaker 1: see that. Get a surprise her. And just to get
- 7:16Speaker 1: serious for a second, our dog passed away recently and
- 7:19Speaker 1: she really need something to sort of distract her and
- 7:21Speaker 1: like a nice activity. So I'm really excited about about
- 7:25Speaker 1: this tonight. This is gonna be really sweet.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I love that it's her favorite movie and your kid's
- 7:29Speaker 5: first time seeing the movie with her, Like, it's gonna
- 7:32Speaker 5: be really.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, their first time seeing this movie is
- 7:34Speaker 1: which are saying, yeah, right, yeah, truly shocked about what
- 7:38Speaker 1: by you something?
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah that you planned this?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it just I'm shocked, And I think this is
- 7:44Speaker 2: really sweet and it just shows how much you care
- 7:46Speaker 2: about her that you're willing to do something that you
- 7:48Speaker 2: wouldn't typically do or have you ever done something with
- 7:51Speaker 2: this ever in your entirety of theme when you propose, Well, yeah,
- 7:56Speaker 2: but that's that should be a surprise.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Honestly, I think she kind of saw that coming. Okay, Well,
- 8:01Speaker 1: there you go.
- 8:02Speaker 2: This is like the first the fact that you have
- 8:05Speaker 2: to think, Kevin kind of put either.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Do either of you have a little like a surprise
- 8:08Speaker 1: date situation story my proposal?
- 8:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean two years ago my boyfriend took me
- 8:15Speaker 5: to New York for Christmas and I had no idea where.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Well, I don't remember that we got to He just
- 8:19Speaker 1: told you how to pack, yes, and then got to
- 8:21Speaker 1: the airport.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I had no idea where we were going.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Which is really sweet.
- 8:25Speaker 8: It was.
- 8:25Speaker 3: It was the best gift ever.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I know some people don't like surprises, do you guys?
- 8:28Speaker 1: Would you both embrace surprises like that?
- 8:30Speaker 8: Oh?
- 8:30Speaker 1: No, yeah, no not Ricky Okay.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I was convinced I would know when AJ was going
- 8:35Speaker 2: to propose to me, And then I was mad that
- 8:37Speaker 2: I didn't see it coming.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Especially were there. He was so sweaty and nervous all day.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I'm so mad that I did not sense it.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Well again, one more time, circle of trust. Everybody, keep
- 8:48Speaker 1: your trap shut. Don't let her know what we're doing.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I can't wait to hear about it. I'm really really
- 8:53Speaker 2: proud of you, and this is gonna be really nice.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm excited and it's going to be a late night,
- 8:56Speaker 1: so I'll be tired tomorrow. But Ricky's got three things
- 8:58Speaker 1: you need to know.
- 9:00Speaker 2: He's actually as he's not tired every day.
- 9:02Speaker 1: True, three things you need to know, all right, thank
- 9:07Speaker 1: you for starting your Thursday with us friends. Ricky Sanchez
- 9:10Speaker 1: has those three things.
- 9:11Speaker 2: A woman was fatally shot by ice by an ICE
- 9:14Speaker 2: agent yesterday in Minneapolis. Renee Nicole Good was in her
- 9:18Speaker 2: car when an ICE agent shot into it. Ice was
- 9:20Speaker 2: attempting to make arrest in South Minneapolis when the fatal
- 9:23Speaker 2: incident occurred. Federal and local officials both have very different
- 9:27Speaker 2: accounts of what exactly happened. Nashville SC has announced their
- 9:32Speaker 2: themed nights for twenty twenty six, Star Wars Night, Barbie
- 9:36Speaker 2: Game Day, and so many more our schedule for this season.
- 9:39Speaker 2: They're also looking to do dollar hot dogs on Wednesdays
- 9:42Speaker 2: for home matches.
- 9:43Speaker 3: You know, I love me a.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Good hot dog, specifically a Daddy's dog. Single game tickets
- 9:48Speaker 2: go on sale today at ten am, so keep that
- 9:50Speaker 2: in mind when you're picking out which days you want
- 9:52Speaker 2: to go. Maybe see if there's a theme night that
- 9:54Speaker 2: fits your mood and.
- 9:55Speaker 3: What you like. Duncan is getting into the protein game
- 9:58Speaker 3: with protein milk draw.
- 10:00Speaker 2: They've collapsed with Megan thee Stallion for this new vibe
- 10:03Speaker 2: that they're going for. The new protein based menu includes
- 10:07Speaker 2: items like Megan's Mango Protein Refresher, Strawberry Protein Refresher, Caramel
- 10:12Speaker 2: chocolate iced protein Latte. There's also an ice protein Latte
- 10:16Speaker 2: with sugar free vanilla. But you can add the protein
- 10:20Speaker 2: milk to any beverage with a milk or non dairy base,
- 10:23Speaker 2: so you can use this protein milk for pretty much
- 10:25Speaker 2: anything that you like to get from Duncan if that's
- 10:27Speaker 2: the route that you'd like to go.
- 10:29Speaker 3: We're pretty much shoving protein into.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Anything everywhere, and half the things I'm not sure even
- 10:35Speaker 2: has protein. I saw something that was a water protein
- 10:39Speaker 2: that had protein in it, and I'm like, is this AI?
- 10:42Speaker 2: I don't really know what's going on here, but pardon me,
- 10:44Speaker 2: believed it because we're shoving protein into everything, protein cupcakes,
- 10:48Speaker 2: protein milk, protein, literally everything is there already.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Protein in milk?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Probably, I'm very confused by all this.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Santas and those are the three things you need to know.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Protein pop tarts. I actually like those, not popped our brain,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but there's all like other ones out.
- 11:03Speaker 2: There yes, I've had them. They're actually really good, very good.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Unnecessary though, thank you, Ricky.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Here's somber. Right after the song we are murdering together
- 11:12Speaker 1: Zach's facts. Get ready for something. He's got something we're
- 11:15Speaker 1: gonna find out next time.
- 11:16Speaker 4: On the river, Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning,
- 11:21Speaker 4: oather around the radio.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Friends, it is time. We love this every day. It's
- 11:25Speaker 1: Zack's fax on one oh seven five the River.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Just a little fact that I want you to share
- 11:28Speaker 5: with everybody that you see today. But apparently there's a
- 11:31Speaker 5: woman in Cyprus who set the Guinness World Record for
- 11:34Speaker 5: the longest wedding veil.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Can you lost how many feet?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Let's guess. Let's guess. Okay, the longest has got to.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Be two hundred and eighty three.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not going that high. I'll say one hundred
- 11:44Speaker 1: and fifty.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Twenty three thousand feet long. It's the same length as
- 11:48Speaker 5: about sixty three and a half football fields. Why for
- 11:52Speaker 5: her wedding veil? I don't know, but I love the
- 11:54Speaker 5: drama of it.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I was just thinking, how dramatic that is.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Sixty three football fields for a wail. And there's your
- 12:01Speaker 5: fact of the day.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Where do you even put it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't know how do you store that? I guess
- 12:04Speaker 1: I know your football fields.
- 12:07Speaker 2: That's a logical answer. I don't know what I was thinking.
- 12:10Speaker 4: One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Mannow
- 12:14Speaker 4: in the Morning talking about when.
- 12:16Speaker 2: The right time is to stop saying Happy New Year.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And the reason why we're bringing this up is because
- 12:21Speaker 2: I've gotten so many mixed reviews from people.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I said Happy New.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Year to somebody yesterday who I haven't seen yet, like
- 12:26Speaker 2: at work, and they were like, you're away past the
- 12:29Speaker 2: point that you can exactly. And then I said it
- 12:33Speaker 2: to another person and they were like, oh, yes, Happy
- 12:37Speaker 2: New Year. And another person told me that you can
- 12:39Speaker 2: say it all year if you want.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's psychotic, that makes no sense. Six seven three seven nine,
- 12:45Speaker 1: one oh seven. I'm pretty fast and loose with my
- 12:47Speaker 1: Happy New Years. But we want to hear from you.
- 12:49Speaker 1: What would you say The rule should be? How long
- 12:51Speaker 1: can we say Happy New Year and get away with it?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Six one five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Let us know what you think.
- 12:59Speaker 4: One seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Morning seven the River. We are asking how long we're
- 13:06Speaker 1: allowed to say Happy New Year. Ricky got some conflicting
- 13:09Speaker 1: responses yesterday around the office, and then we want to
- 13:12Speaker 1: know what you think, Sandra, our friend, Sandra, what would
- 13:15Speaker 1: you say.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I would say until February.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Okay, so all of January.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Yes, because New Year's.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Is in January. Okay, anytime in January is fine.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Jebruary is the month for Valentine's Day, So it's like,
- 13:32Speaker 2: now you're switching into another holiday, you know what I mean,
- 13:35Speaker 2: You're shifting into that.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Yeah, so let's not go there.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I mean, that's another show.
- 13:42Speaker 6: But seriously, if they don't agree that it's okay to
- 13:46Speaker 6: say Happy New Years in January, then you just want
- 13:49Speaker 6: to say, okay, stop and move on.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, January, I think is a fair bet.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Any day in January.
- 13:54Speaker 1: And then we got a lot of people disagree. I
- 13:56Speaker 1: think a lot of people would say that's too much,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Like they might give you a week or two weeks,
- 14:00Speaker 1: but a whole month is kind of a.
- 14:02Speaker 5: People are not your friend, Okay.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Sandra went right for the jugular there.
- 14:08Speaker 1: She said, Nope, thank you for calling Sandra lovely as
- 14:11Speaker 1: always by the authority on all things well.
- 14:17Speaker 5: I do also think it depends on who you're talking to, Like,
- 14:19Speaker 5: if I'd said it to you Ricky or Kevin every
- 14:21Speaker 5: single day in January of like, hey, happy New Year,
- 14:24Speaker 5: that would get old.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Why would you say it every day?
- 14:26Speaker 5: I'm just saying, if you hadn't seen them in January,
- 14:29Speaker 5: did it makes sense to say it?
- 14:30Speaker 1: I I often think there should be like a one
- 14:33Speaker 1: and done rule, like you can say it to somebody
- 14:36Speaker 1: one time, like it's beyond that. Why would you say
- 14:38Speaker 1: it a second time the same pair.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I don't know a single person who said it to
- 14:41Speaker 2: me more than once. Zach just came up with this
- 14:44Speaker 2: random thought. Who you're talking to, Okay, depends on who
- 14:48Speaker 2: you're talking too, sure, but you're not gonna say.
- 14:50Speaker 3: It more than once. I think all of January makes sense.
- 14:54Speaker 7: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Is coming up in June. It's one of the best
- 15:01Speaker 2: times of the year. And Kevin Manner's game of the
- 15:03Speaker 2: day on one of seven five the River is your
- 15:05Speaker 2: way in. We're playing twenty or twenty six for these tickets.
- 15:09Speaker 1: To Lisa in Ashland City. Welcome to the River. Hello, Hello,
- 15:13Speaker 1: thank you for being here. Twenty or twenty six works
- 15:15Speaker 1: like this. I don't know if you've heard this game
- 15:17Speaker 1: this week, but I will ask you a series of questions.
- 15:19Speaker 1: The answer is either twenty or twenty six. If you
- 15:22Speaker 1: get two out of three of them right, you're going
- 15:24Speaker 1: to bonnarou O. All right, you're ready, I'm walking in.
- 15:28Speaker 1: You sound ready. I can tell I can tell to Lisa.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Your game starts right now. How old was Tom Brady
- 15:36Speaker 1: when he won his second Super Bowl? Is he twenty
- 15:39Speaker 1: or twenty six?
- 15:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna say twenty.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Twenty?
- 15:48Speaker 3: What twenty?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Are you going? Twenty six? Is your final answer? You
- 15:53Speaker 1: are locked in. You got that.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Point on the board, born on the board.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Question to Paramore. The band Paramour and Love both have
- 16:04Speaker 1: songs called twenty or twenty six. Which one is it
- 16:07Speaker 1: twenty or twenty six?
- 16:09Speaker 2: Oh god, I have no idea. I'm just gonna say twenty.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm sorry it's twenty six. They both have
- 16:18Speaker 1: songs called twenty six.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That's okay, that's okay. You got one last question.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You need this to stay alive to win the tickets.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Here we go. The word score, as in four score
- 16:26Speaker 1: and seven years ago, represents the number twenty or twenty six.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Oh, I'm gonna say twenty again twenty again.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh you know what, You're going to Bonnaroo.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Cong congratulations. He fakes you out there. He actually faked
- 16:50Speaker 2: me out there, say Tom, I didn't know if it
- 16:53Speaker 2: was right or wrong, but congratulations, Salsea.
- 16:55Speaker 3: You're gonna go to Bonnaroo.
- 16:57Speaker 8: Yes, I'm so hard.
- 16:58Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 17:00Speaker 3: You're so welcome.
- 17:01Speaker 2: We love to hear the excitement. Hang on the line, though,
- 17:03Speaker 2: we gotta get your info.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Okay, love, okay, thank you.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Teddy Swims, Noah Kahn, Kesha, Jesse, Murph, They're all going
- 17:10Speaker 1: to be out there. We have more tickets again tomorrow,
- 17:12Speaker 1: same time, seven forty five, same game, twenty or twenty six.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Right here on the river.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Three things you need to know, all.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Right, just deaf thre eight o'clock on this Thursday morning,
- 17:20Speaker 1: very excited about what Ricky is about to announce here
- 17:23Speaker 1: in these three things. What's going on?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Ricky Bruno Mars lots going on with him. He announced
- 17:29Speaker 2: he's got a new album coming and a tour.
- 17:31Speaker 3: The Romantic is the album.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's going to be his first album in almost ten years.
- 17:36Speaker 2: It's coming out February twenty seventh. But before that, we're
- 17:39Speaker 2: getting a new song from him this week on Friday.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And on top of that, he's also announced that he's
- 17:44Speaker 2: going on tour. He's going to be back in Nashville
- 17:47Speaker 2: May sixth at Nissan Stadium with special guests Anderson Pack As,
- 17:50Speaker 2: DJ Pewey and Leon Thomas.
- 17:52Speaker 3: So wow, lots going on. And he waited, he waited
- 17:56Speaker 3: and waited.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And waited, and then he was like, now you got everything,
- 18:00Speaker 2: which is really exciting stuff.
- 18:01Speaker 3: So love to see that.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Obviously, mark your calendar ser May six if you want
- 18:05Speaker 2: to go see him at Nissan Stadium. Four or four
- 18:08Speaker 2: Kitchen and Gerty's Whiskey Bar permanently closed in the Gulch.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I hate doing these stories.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It always like makes me so sad to say. According
- 18:15Speaker 2: to a statement shared on Rezi, they said the decision
- 18:18Speaker 2: was not made lightly and thanked customers for their support
- 18:21Speaker 2: throughout the years. They opened in Nashville in twenty thirteen.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So this is rough. Obviously, all of the places that
- 18:28Speaker 2: are closing, Like I said, it's always a bummer to
- 18:30Speaker 2: kind of let you know, but you got to know
- 18:32Speaker 2: what's opened and what's closed. And if you were wondering
- 18:35Speaker 2: what this year's eight vegetable is, don't worry I got you.
- 18:40Speaker 2: According to Pinterest, this year's most popular veggie is cabbage.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Oh.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Some of the biggest reasons being that it's filled with nutrients,
- 18:48Speaker 2: it could be used for multiple different types of recipes,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and if you store correctly, it actually lasts quite a while,
- 18:53Speaker 2: like longer than a lot of vegetables do.
- 18:55Speaker 1: But I like cabbage, and I know it's very nutrient dent.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I feel I can't. I love caving nona like kale
- 19:00Speaker 1: did or whatever.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Apparently it is though, and Pinterest has already seen the
- 19:04Speaker 2: uptick in people searching for cabbage recipes.
- 19:07Speaker 5: I literally made cabbage lasagna last night from pinterrist.
- 19:10Speaker 2: See, and I had cabbage and a veggie bowl that
- 19:13Speaker 2: I made the other day. I love cabbage. Think about it, though,
- 19:16Speaker 2: you could also do so much with it. Slaw, kimchi ooh,
- 19:19Speaker 2: a little bit of kimchi on your eggs, delightful in.
- 19:22Speaker 3: The morning, Okay, delight cabbage, and so good for you.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Things you need to know.
- 19:29Speaker 1: It's one of those words, though, like we've said it
- 19:31Speaker 1: so many times now, it doesn't sound like a real
- 19:32Speaker 1: word anymore. Cabbage, cabbage, never heard it so many times
- 19:36Speaker 1: in one minute.
- 19:38Speaker 7: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Do you thank somebody for sending you a Christmas card?
- 19:46Speaker 1: That's the question. We were just talking to Rebecca. She
- 19:48Speaker 1: just her phone cut out, she'd draw we lost just
- 19:50Speaker 1: a second ago. But she agreed with Ricky and I
- 19:53Speaker 1: that Zach is a little bit nuts for thanking everybody
- 19:56Speaker 1: that sent him a Christmas card.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Zach got genuinely mad at yesterday when I was on
- 20:01Speaker 2: the phone with him going through my mail, and I
- 20:03Speaker 2: found out that I got four more Christmas cards. And
- 20:06Speaker 2: we're talking the cards that have like your family's faces
- 20:08Speaker 2: on them and everything, and it says like love the
- 20:10Speaker 2: man O family, which is one of them.
- 20:11Speaker 1: We had a typo on ours, by the way. I
- 20:13Speaker 1: don't know if you saw the type on the back,
- 20:14Speaker 1: but that's my fault, and I feel terrible it happens.
- 20:17Speaker 2: What are you gonna do? But I was opening them
- 20:19Speaker 2: and I was looking at them, and I was like, oh,
- 20:20Speaker 2: that's nice, and he was like, all right, you're gonna
- 20:22Speaker 2: go thank them.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And I was like, thank them for what?
- 20:25Speaker 2: And he said that he thanks everyone who sends him
- 20:27Speaker 2: Christmas cards.
- 20:28Speaker 5: I just don't understand why you wouldn't do it. So
- 20:30Speaker 5: here's my thought process behind it is clearly you still
- 20:33Speaker 5: mean something to these people that they have your address,
- 20:36Speaker 5: your part of their annual tradition of sending out their card,
- 20:38Speaker 5: like they want to give you an update on their life,
- 20:40Speaker 5: and so you still mean something to them. And so
- 20:43Speaker 5: I just feel like it's a morally correct thing to
- 20:46Speaker 5: do is say hey, thanks so much for the card.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Okay, question here, Kevin, how many Christmas cards did you
- 20:51Speaker 2: send out this year?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Did we?
- 20:52Speaker 2: Oh?
- 20:52Speaker 1: God, I don't know. All I was supposed to do
- 20:55Speaker 1: was come up with the thing on the back, and
- 20:57Speaker 1: I had.
- 20:57Speaker 2: A typo l every day like at least fifty, say
- 21:00Speaker 2: eighty eighty. So you think that this man wants eighty
- 21:04Speaker 2: text messages or phone calls from people to say hey,
- 21:07Speaker 2: thank you so much for the Christmas card.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I just think it's a cute and respectable thing to
- 21:12Speaker 5: do is say hey, thank you, you thought of me,
- 21:14Speaker 5: you went out of your way to send this to
- 21:17Speaker 5: my house.
- 21:17Speaker 3: And that's when you say thank you.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I think if you bump into the person, it's okay
- 21:22Speaker 1: to say like, oh thanks, I got your card. Thank you.
- 21:24Speaker 1: That's cute, But I don't think you need to text
- 21:25Speaker 1: everybody or reach out to everybody.
- 21:27Speaker 2: One person that I did think one of my best friends, Vick.
- 21:31Speaker 2: She sent me an actual Christmas card where she wrote
- 21:33Speaker 2: something very nice in the Christmas card to both AJ
- 21:36Speaker 2: and I and I had texted her and she drew
- 21:38Speaker 2: like these funny little things like bad Bunny. So I
- 21:42Speaker 2: texted her and I said thank you so much for
- 21:44Speaker 2: the card. It was really sweet and it made me laugh.
- 21:46Speaker 2: That's the only person that I texted to say thank
- 21:48Speaker 2: you to. I'm not texting everybody thank you so much
- 21:50Speaker 2: for sending me a picture of your kid's face.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I just feel like it's so rude that I went
- 21:54Speaker 5: out of my way to send you something. It doesn't
- 21:56Speaker 5: matter if it's a Christmas card or if it's a
- 21:59Speaker 5: nail file.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Just say thank you.
- 22:01Speaker 2: If you sent me a nail file, I'm gonna say
- 22:02Speaker 2: thank you.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But what's the difference.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The difference is that you don't need to say thank
- 22:06Speaker 2: you for Christmas cards.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yes, you do.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Nail file would be like a gift. The card is
- 22:10Speaker 1: just like you're one of a one of one hundred people.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Card is more for you than it is for me.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Do you think that's true?
- 22:16Speaker 7: Oh?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yes, you are more excited to send out these cute
- 22:19Speaker 2: little pictures of your family than I am.
- 22:22Speaker 3: To receive that.
- 22:23Speaker 1: There's something to that.
- 22:23Speaker 5: Honestly, thanks Kevin, Kevin, you sent out Christmas cards.
- 22:27Speaker 2: If anything, you should thank me for receiving the card.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Why I stand on that?
- 22:33Speaker 5: What?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 22:35Speaker 1: This is the first year we ever sent him. And
- 22:36Speaker 1: I do kind of agree with a Ricky said. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: think that people just want to be involved, like they
- 22:40Speaker 1: want to be up on somebody's wall, you know, so you.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Like want to rub your little happy family and everybody
- 22:46Speaker 5: else's face by sending the card, is what you're saying.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Kind of part of it. Dang, that is so mess up.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Those Christmas cards are more for you than they are
- 22:54Speaker 2: for me. Although I do love and this is I
- 22:57Speaker 2: sound really messed up right now, but I love opening
- 22:59Speaker 2: them and I love seeing them and like, congratulations you're
- 23:02Speaker 2: getting you got married or engaged, or you had a baby. Great.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I saw it on freaking Instagram.
- 23:08Speaker 5: Y'all are so mean and dramatic. Just say thank you,
- 23:10Speaker 5: That's all I'm asking for.
- 23:13Speaker 4: The river Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I've been and Choveyville.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Welcome to one O seven five the River. What do
- 23:20Speaker 2: you think are you supposed to thank someone for getting
- 23:22Speaker 2: their Christmas card?
- 23:24Speaker 6: I actually do because a lot of people that help
- 23:28Speaker 6: sen them out. If I didn't respond, will say hey,
- 23:31Speaker 6: did you get my Christmas card? And then I say,
- 23:34Speaker 6: you know, yes, thank you. But because there's usually a
- 23:37Speaker 6: thought process in doing it, even if they sit down
- 23:41Speaker 6: a mask one, I just say, hey, I got your
- 23:44Speaker 6: car than you know, thank you for thinking of me.
- 23:46Speaker 1: That's nice.
- 23:47Speaker 5: See, that's what I feel like you should do. I
- 23:49Speaker 5: feel like that's morally correct. Is I thought of you?
- 23:51Speaker 5: I went out of my way. You're part of my
- 23:53Speaker 5: address book. I spent like thirty nine cents on this
- 23:56Speaker 5: stamp for.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You and all you guys.
- 23:58Speaker 5: All I'm asking for is for you to say thank
- 24:00Speaker 5: you that I thought of you.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I think you and Robin are just a lot nicer
- 24:04Speaker 2: than Kevin and I.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Because I don't think it makes sense to do that.
- 24:07Speaker 2: If I send out eighty Christmas cards and I get
- 24:10Speaker 2: eighty phone calls or text messages, I'm ignoring every single
- 24:14Speaker 2: one of that.
- 24:16Speaker 1: That would be my last year sending out Christmas cards.
- 24:19Speaker 6: I don't only send out Christmas cards. I'm a card
- 24:22Speaker 6: personsten about for Talloween or a valance the thirstday are
- 24:29Speaker 6: just because.
- 24:30Speaker 2: That's really sweet, Robin, Because I'm a card person, but
- 24:32Speaker 2: a card person in the sense that you wrote me
- 24:35Speaker 2: a handwritten note inside of it. I have so many cards.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I keep every single one of them for the Christmas cards.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Just I don't I don't win with them.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Okay, I'm so sorry. Send you on.
- 24:46Speaker 2: That's true, Robin, That's very true, Robin.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Thank you for calling. Thank you for calling.
- 24:51Speaker 4: You are very welcome you.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I have a great day, Zach. If you get like
- 24:56Speaker 1: a little piece of junk mail from like a tree
- 24:58Speaker 1: trimming service, how are you gonna thank them for that? No,
- 25:01Speaker 1: that's not a personal connection, Kevin. I do all know
- 25:03Speaker 1: you're in their address book? They don't know.
- 25:05Speaker 3: They didn't think.
- 25:08Speaker 1: My neighborhood is what they did farm. Yeah, that's what
- 25:12Speaker 1: it's called.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I don't know that it's called farm.
- 25:14Speaker 3: It literally is called that canvass to your neighborhood.
- 25:17Speaker 5: They farmed my neighborhood and got all of our address.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Well, whatever they did your neighborhood, you have to think them.
- 25:23Speaker 5: I hate you.
- 25:24Speaker 7: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
- 25:28Speaker 7: rid time for the daily double tap.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Here on one O seven five the River. This one
- 25:33Speaker 1: was handpicked by Ricky and Zach and I have no
- 25:35Speaker 1: idea what it means.
- 25:36Speaker 2: So I didn't realize how niche this was. I thought
- 25:40Speaker 2: that I was in good company. I thought you guys
- 25:42Speaker 2: had good tasting movies. But it turns out your tasting
- 25:45Speaker 2: movies sucked. Sorry, So if you've seen a Goofy movie,
- 25:49Speaker 2: one of the best movies ever, then this is going
- 25:52Speaker 2: to make more sense to you.
- 25:53Speaker 3: If you haven't, then it's still really great. But it's
- 25:55Speaker 3: a dad.
- 25:55Speaker 2: He makes up a song about changing diapers. It's set
- 25:59Speaker 2: to the song eye to Eye by power line from
- 26:02Speaker 2: a Goofy movie.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Okay, here we go today's daily double tap. Gather around.
- 26:06Speaker 8: You've got yourself a dapper one. You know that I'm
- 26:12Speaker 8: bound to clean. So now it's down new wiper three time,
- 26:17Speaker 8: sheep boops and cheet peas. Maybe we'll discover how to
- 26:22Speaker 8: keep your bootyan.
- 26:24Speaker 3: One way or another, we gonna keep your.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Booted, Priscine.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I loved everything about it. I eat my words here, Ricky.
- 26:32Speaker 2: That was g That's why I said Even if you
- 26:34Speaker 2: don't know who power Line is from a goofy movie,
- 26:36Speaker 2: You'll still enjoy this because one clever as can be
- 26:40Speaker 2: and two great voice yeare.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Sang knows how to sing Yeah, great lyrics as well.
- 26:46Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on one the
- 26:49Speaker 7: River
