- 1:14Speaker 7: It was a big one. I am a bit slower today,
- 1:16Speaker 7: but I'm excited. I'm on my toes because at any
- 1:19Speaker 7: moment the twenty five Grand Fiddler could happen, which basically,
- 1:23Speaker 7: you listen to Hidarky and if you hear a song
- 1:25Speaker 7: with fiddle mixed into it, call us straight away on
- 1:27Speaker 7: one hundred had Uky and you could win one thousand
- 1:29Speaker 7: dollars instantly.

- 1:31Speaker 5: Great stuff, mate, Now listen a big, big show here.
- 1:34Speaker 5: We've got Paddy Gower coming in to talk his new show.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Also we do a bit of a deep dive in
- 1:38Speaker 5: the sporting sort of world with the All Blacks, the Warriors,
- 1:41Speaker 5: and also the end of the Olympic Games, which I
- 1:44Speaker 5: was quite sad about the final ceremony this morning, so
- 1:46Speaker 5: we'll be delving into that.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And of course it is maggot Monday.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so if you're a maggot over the weekend, text
- 1:53Speaker 5: us three four eight three and will help.
- 1:54Speaker 3: You through it.
- 1:54Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. We just want to know if you've
- 1:57Speaker 6: got any sort of deep regret, sure, yeah, flick them
- 2:00Speaker 6: on three three four eight three or give us a
- 2:02Speaker 6: old talk back there in the I Heart Radio.
- 2:06Speaker 8: Nice.
- 2:07Speaker 6: Also, if someone you know is just a maggot. Yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 6: just call him out, Just call him out.
- 2:11Speaker 8: Three Yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 3: In the meantime, he's rage against the machine.
- 2:15Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 2:19Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Nirvana there on the Radio Hod Archy Big Show this
- 2:23Speaker 5: Monday afternoon. Now, before we get to today's big pole,
- 2:26Speaker 5: we need to resolve a big pole from last week
- 2:29Speaker 5: that's regarding a questrian whether or not it should be
- 2:31Speaker 5: in the Olympics, and it caused a fair amount of outrage.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I have to say, didn't it, Kzy it did?
- 2:36Speaker 7: I brought this idea forward and I wasn't in any
- 2:38Speaker 7: way saying that a question isn't a cool sport.
- 2:40Speaker 8: It was just the only were.
- 2:41Speaker 3: You were saying you hated it, Yeah, because it's not
- 2:43Speaker 3: it's not cool.
- 2:44Speaker 6: I wouldn't. Don't think anybody's arguing that it's.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Cool, right, Yeah, Well, my argument was mostly based around
- 2:51Speaker 7: the fact that it's the only sport of the Olympics
- 2:52Speaker 7: with a live animal. Now, not taking away the fact
- 2:54Speaker 7: that the animal weighs a ton and you control it
- 2:56Speaker 7: with just your hands and your knees and blah blah blah.
- 2:58Speaker 7: That wasn't the argument. It's should it be in the Olympics.
- 3:01Speaker 7: It was up on our Instagram story fifty eight percent
- 3:04Speaker 7: of New Zealander said no, it shouldn't be.
- 3:06Speaker 8: In the Olympics.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Fifty yeah, right, okay, but it.
- 3:08Speaker 7: Didn't make the seventy five percent threshold, so it does
- 3:11Speaker 7: not get the guillotine.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Stays.
- 3:12Speaker 8: Equestrian stays.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Just to remind you, competitive walking that's gone, break dancing,
- 3:18Speaker 5: break dancing that's gone to.
- 3:20Speaker 8: Kathlon stays to kathlon. Yeah, Questrian state okay, yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yeah, fair enough. All right, let's get to today's big pole. Then,
- 3:28Speaker 5: shall we big pole? Should Australia be excluded from the Olympics?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yes? Or no?
- 3:42Speaker 8: That's a hot take.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It there's a really hot take.
- 3:44Speaker 8: In fact, I might play the hot take siren.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Okay, I mean my personal view is yes for a
- 3:54Speaker 6: number of reasons. One is I get I get sick
- 3:57Speaker 6: of hearing the national anthem when they win so many
- 3:59Speaker 6: gold medals. Sure, and I actually know the national anthem
- 4:02Speaker 6: off by heart now actually probably not better than I
- 4:04Speaker 6: know New Zealand. Also, they're responsible for some of the
- 4:07Speaker 6: most embarrassing moments of the Olympics. Of course, there was
- 4:12Speaker 6: the breakdancer Ragan Raygan, which is a good name, Rachel Gunn,
- 4:20Speaker 6: and she just sort of flopped around on the floor
- 4:23Speaker 6: and she was a kangaroo for a week bit. So yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 6: she was kangaroo for a bit too. She I don't
- 4:29Speaker 6: know if she brought shame on her country. I guess
- 4:31Speaker 6: it's one of those things, right. I thought I knew
- 4:34Speaker 6: what breakdancing was until I saw what she did. Yes, well,
- 4:37Speaker 6: and so it became it became confusing to me and
- 4:40Speaker 6: maybe I don't understand it and I need to learn
- 4:42Speaker 6: learn about it.
- 4:43Speaker 7: More more on that later in the show where we
- 4:45Speaker 7: I think we had to decide final verdict. We've seen breakdancing,
- 4:47Speaker 7: now should it be in the Olympic?
- 4:49Speaker 9: Sure?
- 4:49Speaker 5: In that then yeah, we will absolutely. Look I'm with you, Maggie.
- 4:53Speaker 5: I think they should be excluded, but purely on the
- 4:56Speaker 5: basis that I don't like the color yellow and I
- 4:59Speaker 5: don't like.
- 4:59Speaker 6: The all of their hair do.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, all of them. They all tend to have.
- 5:03Speaker 5: You know, you look at someone from Australia and you go, yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 5: they are so Australian and their hair do is very Australian.
- 5:10Speaker 5: So I think, just on the basis of the yellow
- 5:12Speaker 5: uniforms and their hairdos.
- 5:14Speaker 3: They should be excluded.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Right, I mean it's a huge call and I'm not
- 5:18Speaker 7: pro Ossie in any way, shape or form.
- 5:20Speaker 8: Ice to the front Mogi.
- 5:21Speaker 7: I'm just saying they are one of the premiere sort
- 5:23Speaker 7: of medal winners at the Olympics too.
- 5:27Speaker 6: What's the Olympics? Sorry?
- 5:28Speaker 8: Did I say the Olympics?
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:30Speaker 8: I mean the Olympics.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that makes more sense.
- 5:33Speaker 7: So I mean, do you want to get rid of
- 5:34Speaker 7: a country that wins so many medals and is a
- 5:36Speaker 7: major player?
- 5:37Speaker 6: Yes, yes, yeah I do because they take it really
- 5:41Speaker 6: seriously as well competitive, you know what I mean?
- 5:45Speaker 5: I watch I watch Australia, every Australian athlete and just
- 5:50Speaker 5: just chill out a bit.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Seriously, there's so gonna win and I'm like, just chill, dudeill.
- 5:58Speaker 8: What are the key athletes?
- 5:59Speaker 6: Chill?
- 5:59Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 6:00Speaker 10: Really?
- 6:00Speaker 6: Man?
- 6:01Speaker 11: Are we totally?
- 6:02Speaker 6: Yeah? Real cool?
- 6:05Speaker 3: Incidentally, where are we on the middle table there? Kasy?
- 6:07Speaker 8: Are we doing that here?
- 6:09Speaker 9: Well?
- 6:10Speaker 6: I'm not so interested in just given what we're talking about,
- 6:12Speaker 6: I'm definitely interested to see where Australia is at.
- 6:15Speaker 8: Right, Okay, well, okay.
- 6:20Speaker 2: The Big show Middle Telly update Australia edition. Yeah, nice,
- 6:26Speaker 2: Australia Australia edition fourth on the middle table. All right,
- 6:30Speaker 2: So United States first, then China, then Japan. Ozzie are
- 6:34Speaker 2: fourth with fifty three meddles.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Japan do very well.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yea, they do very well.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Can I just make the point, for example, Australia weren't there,
- 6:43Speaker 5: we'd be one better place up on the ladder there,
- 6:45Speaker 5: that's true.
- 6:46Speaker 6: And I think we've been doing some good, but we've
- 6:47Speaker 6: got rid of Russia. Russia's gone, yes, okay, And I
- 6:50Speaker 6: think you know, allegedly Australia are even bigger drug cheats
- 6:54Speaker 6: than Russia. You said, allegedly, allegedly, it's what I'm hearing.
- 7:01Speaker 3: You're right, you have your say.
- 7:03Speaker 5: New Zealand on three four eight three got to the
- 7:05Speaker 5: Instagram account as well, and have you say.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And we'll we'll talk about that a little bit later on.
- 7:11Speaker 1: The Hoedarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Kisy fill To There on the radio hooed Arquy Big
- 7:18Speaker 5: Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty four minutes
- 7:22Speaker 5: past four o'clock and we've got our old make that
- 7:24Speaker 5: Legend of the Warriors Charlie gub on the phone with
- 7:28Speaker 5: us in Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, geez mate, I mean what
- 7:34Speaker 5: a match. I thought we were gonna get our ass
- 7:37Speaker 5: handed to us. The Fellas fought back valiantly and courageously.
- 7:43Speaker 3: But pepped at the final post again, mate.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a tough one. It was a brutal
- 7:49Speaker 4: way to have our top eight chances kind of turned
- 7:53Speaker 4: to the ground. But you're right, it was a very
- 7:57Speaker 4: entertaining game and we're brave and a few opportunities to
- 8:01Speaker 4: ice that. But just story of our season.
- 8:04Speaker 9: Brother.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Hey, Charlie, keesy here, mate, hope you will first and foremost.
- 8:10Speaker 7: I think we seem to lack and it's probably because
- 8:14Speaker 7: Shawn Johnson's out and then we found out he was
- 8:15Speaker 7: injured with his knee in that, but we seem to
- 8:17Speaker 7: lack just a clutch player who can kick those field
- 8:21Speaker 7: goals like Nathan Cleary can, and someone who does like
- 8:24Speaker 7: just isn't affected by the sort of the importance of
- 8:27Speaker 7: the situation.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely. I think we probably knew that a few
- 8:33Speaker 4: weeks ago. But I kind of feel for Chanel, like
- 8:37Speaker 4: they just keep putting them in these positions. Yeah, I
- 8:39Speaker 4: don't know. I don't know what you'd call it selfishness
- 8:44Speaker 4: from whereby, but he's kind of it seems like he's
- 8:47Speaker 4: gone like, oh, go out and just prove that you
- 8:49Speaker 4: can do it, where he should really just be focusing
- 8:52Speaker 4: on his game and you could just put someone like
- 8:54Speaker 4: Tomorrow Marden or yeah answer in there.
- 8:57Speaker 9: Just do you know kick at fifty percent? Ever?
- 9:00Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean you want, you want the guy to
- 9:02Speaker 6: have an opportunity to redeem himself, but it's become clear
- 9:06Speaker 6: that you can't put you can't risk the outcomes of
- 9:09Speaker 6: our matches trying to help the guy out like that. Yes, yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 6: it was. It was one of those games where the
- 9:17Speaker 6: most exciting game of the year. I was screaming the
- 9:19Speaker 6: house down, the most probably devastating loss of the year
- 9:22Speaker 6: for me as well. But you can't help but think,
- 9:25Speaker 6: you know, if we didn't have the try go against
- 9:28Speaker 6: us off a forward pass down our left flank in
- 9:32Speaker 6: the first half, if we didn't get that bullshit penalty
- 9:35Speaker 6: to Roger which was eight points, if we didn't have
- 9:37Speaker 6: a bullshit syn Beneen, if we didn't give up the
- 9:40Speaker 6: twelve easy points right at the start, we still would
- 9:43Speaker 6: have found a way to lose. One thing that we do,
- 9:46Speaker 6: it doesn't matter. It's because we get so far behind
- 9:48Speaker 6: that we stuck. We're freed up to play a really
- 9:51Speaker 6: great brand of footy, but if things are close, we
- 9:53Speaker 6: just find a way to lose anyway. So even if
- 9:55Speaker 6: those things had went our way, I still I still
- 9:58Speaker 6: don't think that we would have managed to get the
- 9:59Speaker 6: job done because we just haven't been able to all year.
- 10:02Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, I think you're right.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Like when teams are winning, they find a way to win,
- 10:09Speaker 4: and when they're when you're losing, you almost find a
- 10:13Speaker 4: way to lose. And Dolphins have been doing that in
- 10:15Speaker 4: the past, letting teams come back in the second half.
- 10:19Speaker 4: But it's almost like a team that can't when there's
- 10:22Speaker 4: a team that wants you to lose.
- 10:24Speaker 9: So I don't know.
- 10:27Speaker 4: It's a tough one, but yeah, maybe we're just not
- 10:31Speaker 4: that top eight force that we had expectations for.
- 10:34Speaker 9: But like you said, it was a.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Great game, and you know, if we were in contention,
- 10:39Speaker 4: you can't really be disappointed of that last because they
- 10:41Speaker 4: did put in. They just had a few shot minutes
- 10:44Speaker 4: where you know, Herbie Farnworth, we were attacking the line
- 10:47Speaker 4: and they got the ball back and he went the
- 10:49Speaker 4: length of the field. Couple of soft tries like that,
- 10:51Speaker 4: But all our time, you know, we we worked for
- 10:54Speaker 4: him and we were right in it, but we just
- 10:56Speaker 4: didn't quite have the class to ice it.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Charlie, what's it like at this point in the season
- 11:02Speaker 7: when you're playing for the Warriors and it is official
- 11:05Speaker 7: we're out of the top eight. It's not going to
- 11:06Speaker 7: happen on there's some miracle happens with results, et cetera.
- 11:10Speaker 7: What is it like and do you expect them to
- 11:12Speaker 7: now play a great brand of footy because that weight's
- 11:15Speaker 7: been removed off their shoulders.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Fortunately, you're talking to the right because I'm missed eight,
- 11:20Speaker 4: you know, five out of five years, and.
- 11:24Speaker 9: We're always in this.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Now you've got to win frigging nine from Ken.
- 11:28Speaker 9: We're like, okay, we're gone, boys.
- 11:30Speaker 4: The effort's still there, you know, because everyone's playing for
- 11:35Speaker 4: their own pride and there's a lot of guys off
- 11:37Speaker 4: contract and it's a weird one.
- 11:40Speaker 9: You know.
- 11:40Speaker 4: I've seen Whereby's come out and mathematically they are still
- 11:45Speaker 4: a chance, whether whether or not they are or not,
- 11:47Speaker 4: but it's they'll still be turning up, you know, like
- 11:50Speaker 4: at Shaun's last season, guys, the second most cat player Jet,
- 11:55Speaker 4: he's leaving, he's still playing for a contract, so there
- 11:58Speaker 4: there's plenty of reasons. I'm still ripping. I'm sure they'll
- 12:01Speaker 4: sell out in two weeks for their last home game.
- 12:04Speaker 6: But yeah, it already is weird.
- 12:06Speaker 9: One.
- 12:06Speaker 4: You know, maybe they'll start, you might see Zion and
- 12:10Speaker 4: a couple of guys like that in more minutes hopefully. Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 4: I think they will. They'll make a couple of changes,
- 12:17Speaker 4: but also they're still out there trying to win.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Yeah right, Charlie, who's your player of the match mate, I'm.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Going with this guys, mate, he's got probably got four
- 12:28Speaker 4: bottle of the nitro sitting on the man on from
- 12:31Speaker 4: his Porter King players.
- 12:32Speaker 9: That'll go Mitch Barnett again.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Mitch Oneette. He is your Porter King player of the day.
- 12:38Speaker 7: And don't forget if you're in the Wellington area you
- 12:40Speaker 7: need to do Poo's head up Porter King. They are
- 12:43Speaker 7: your Portloo specialist. Charlie gub Thank you very much mate.
- 12:46Speaker 9: Thanks good on.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Big Show podcast you tode the food finders there on
- 12:52Speaker 5: the radio hon Achy Big Show this Monday afternoon. The
- 12:56Speaker 5: time is four point thirty nine and all as well.
- 12:58Speaker 8: Certainly is Jace Keesy here.
- 13:00Speaker 7: By the way, listeners Friday, if you're listening to the show,
- 13:03Speaker 7: you might have noticed that we weren't here. We were
- 13:05Speaker 7: down in Nelson. We're visiting our good friends at Hot
- 13:08Speaker 7: Federation who are making a special backbone brew which will
- 13:12Speaker 7: be on debut at Beavana down in Wally. Twenty third
- 13:15Speaker 7: of August is the Friday. It is two days Friday
- 13:18Speaker 7: and Sat.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Day. We'll be there on the Friday. That is where
- 13:20Speaker 6: they will be debuting it and getting it ready for release.
- 13:24Speaker 7: If you're keen, sorry, jas if I can just finish this,
- 13:28Speaker 7: beervarda dot co dot in z if you are keen
- 13:30Speaker 7: to get some tickets.
- 13:31Speaker 3: No worries, admind.
- 13:32Speaker 5: Boy, what I was going to say, Keysy, because you
- 13:36Speaker 5: had a little sample of it, Yeah, what did you think?
- 13:38Speaker 5: Because it's a nice, crispy little pilsner.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I believe it was.
- 13:42Speaker 8: Crisp, it was clean.
- 13:43Speaker 7: I could taste the Waiti and Kohatu hops, and then
- 13:46Speaker 7: I found out that those were the hops that were
- 13:48Speaker 7: in it. To be honest, we tasted it sort of
- 13:51Speaker 7: two weeks before it's ready to day. Boo, sure it
- 13:53Speaker 7: already in my opinion, was ready to go. I can
- 13:56Speaker 7: taste the backbone.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I've got to be honest, a beautiful part of the
- 13:59Speaker 5: country down there. They've got a nice little set up.
- 14:01Speaker 5: I was quite fascinated with the process there, Moogi.
- 14:03Speaker 6: You were fascinated with the process and by the surrounds
- 14:06Speaker 6: as well, the views that you got, the vistas. If
- 14:08Speaker 6: I put it that way, every time we had to
- 14:10Speaker 6: do something we had to look for you, could you
- 14:11Speaker 6: go on for a wander to look outside and look
- 14:13Speaker 6: at the hills or a tree or something. Yeah, you're
- 14:16Speaker 6: quite taken with a joint.
- 14:18Speaker 3: I was.
- 14:18Speaker 5: I found it very peaceful. There was just a lot
- 14:20Speaker 5: of very peaceful sort of vibe to the whole thing.
- 14:22Speaker 7: One of the funny things was one of the people
- 14:24Speaker 7: working at one of the Simons, can't remember which one.
- 14:27Speaker 7: He was like, oh, does Jason always just like wander
- 14:30Speaker 7: off like that?
- 14:30Speaker 9: Oh?
- 14:31Speaker 6: And I was like, yeah, yeah, he just wanders off.
- 14:32Speaker 6: And you just kind of like having an elderly relative,
- 14:34Speaker 6: isn't it.
- 14:34Speaker 8: Yeah, that's right, just a lot.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Going on in my mind at the time, you know
- 14:38Speaker 3: what I mean. Yeah, and you were pounding the beers.
- 14:40Speaker 5: He's keysy, So I just went on, I just go
- 14:42Speaker 5: for a little wonder outside, have a quick Darry. Don't
- 14:45Speaker 5: forget the Darry aspect of it side, you know what
- 14:47Speaker 5: I mean?
- 14:48Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 14:48Speaker 7: Absolutely, But if you are keen to taste the backbone,
- 14:50Speaker 7: bro go along to be a van of twenty third
- 14:52Speaker 7: twenty fourth of August being a van for tickets.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, good bys as they were. It was a good
- 14:56Speaker 3: good time.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Now listen, we asked you to text in on three
- 14:58Speaker 5: four eight three for maggot ma day if you maybe
- 15:01Speaker 5: over extended yourself or disgraced yourself over the weekend, need
- 15:05Speaker 5: a bit of support.
- 15:06Speaker 3: What are we looking at the flowers?
- 15:09Speaker 7: Here's a good one that's from Josh all right, rough
- 15:12Speaker 7: weekend at the Wars yesterday and then at the Caston Hotel.
- 15:15Speaker 7: Had a late one and a four am flight home.
- 15:17Speaker 7: So he was at Sunco for that game a four
- 15:20Speaker 7: am flight. I know that sounds odd, sounds made up?
- 15:23Speaker 7: Does sound made up.
- 15:26Speaker 8: Now that I say it out loud?
- 15:27Speaker 7: But if he was there at sun Called watching that
- 15:29Speaker 7: heartbreaking lass and then go to the Catston afterwards, a
- 15:31Speaker 7: bit of a maggot, no doubt.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Is that how you guys felt after you we won?
- 15:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:36Speaker 3: I know we won, but then the next day you
- 15:38Speaker 3: must have been going, Oh, I mean it was a
- 15:40Speaker 3: great victory.
- 15:40Speaker 6: But Lordie, Lordie, wasn't that bad?
- 15:43Speaker 8: I'd that we've done it?
- 15:46Speaker 9: Well.
- 15:46Speaker 6: The thing about Liz Jason like, you don't really feel
- 15:48Speaker 6: the hangover when you wake up in a place that
- 15:52Speaker 6: you don't remember going to. Sure, because the adrenaline is
- 15:55Speaker 6: really pumping. You're trying to protect yourself, you know what
- 15:59Speaker 6: I mean?
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 16:00Speaker 7: No, And also the worries once I we were stoked?
- 16:02Speaker 7: What about this one? Someone was a maggot over the weekend?
- 16:04Speaker 7: I passed my mates Auntie too much? Yeah, yeah, we've
- 16:08Speaker 7: been there have we?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 16:10Speaker 6: Oh?
- 16:10Speaker 8: With this Auntie?
- 16:11Speaker 6: Well it's hard to tell from that text which Auntie
- 16:13Speaker 6: it is, but yeah, if you haven't gotten involved with
- 16:16Speaker 6: the mates, Auntie, I mean.
- 16:17Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Are you even?
- 16:19Speaker 10: Key? We?
- 16:20Speaker 3: I don't think so?
- 16:21Speaker 8: Right?
- 16:22Speaker 7: What at this one? Good fellas Harry Pritchard massive megot
- 16:25Speaker 7: this weekend? It was his birthday and he doesn't remember
- 16:27Speaker 7: anything from Friday AVO through to Sunday AVO when he
- 16:30Speaker 7: woke up.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Well, that's responsibly, responsibly you mean that responsibly?
- 16:34Speaker 8: Of course I was going to say this responsibly.
- 16:35Speaker 6: There's another backbone here. Kids. I don't know if you've
- 16:37Speaker 6: seen this on three four eight three, but this fellow,
- 16:39Speaker 6: he has said he came into work today on the
- 16:42Speaker 6: back foot after two four am finishes on the Friday
- 16:45Speaker 6: and the Saturday. Please send thoughts and prayers. It's a
- 16:48Speaker 6: rough Monday. Yes, that is a roughie. It's a megot Monday.
- 16:52Speaker 6: It's a megot Monday. Absolutely.
- 16:54Speaker 5: It's not just the physical side of it. It's a
- 16:57Speaker 5: mental side of it, like what have I done?
- 17:00Speaker 8: Such a good point?
- 17:01Speaker 3: You feel very phoney, you know, I'm.
- 17:05Speaker 6: I'm not heavy that that's crept into the vocar.
- 17:07Speaker 9: Ever.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Here the whole actually Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 17:14Speaker 1: Keyzy tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Welcome back to your massive backbones. Hope you're getting through your
- 17:20Speaker 5: Monday tickety boo. You're listening to the Big Show brought
- 17:23Speaker 5: to you by night.
- 17:32Speaker 3: O Bed Pretty good.
- 17:34Speaker 8: I mean I'm stoked with it, you know that?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:36Speaker 7: Man, Hey, fellas, speaking of tunes and music, Oh, I
- 17:39Speaker 7: was gonna seegue.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 17:41Speaker 7: Speaking of tunes and music, fellas, there's been a brand
- 17:45Speaker 7: new song that's come out Who Is It?
- 17:46Speaker 8: By Jason storm Z a new a new song from
- 17:49Speaker 8: storm Zy and.
- 17:50Speaker 6: Chason's status Jason Status.
- 17:52Speaker 8: Jason Status. It's called Backbone.
- 17:56Speaker 7: A lot of people have been sending this to us
- 17:57Speaker 7: and just double checking whether or not we approve of that.
- 17:59Speaker 7: I haven't actually listen into it. Ye, should we play
- 18:00Speaker 7: a wee bit of it? Sure, and just see whether
- 18:02Speaker 7: we give it the old Big Show stamp of approval.
- 18:04Speaker 8: Here we got no.
- 18:10Speaker 9: Keys until he's a kid and to give them fast and.
- 18:20Speaker 8: I like it.
- 18:21Speaker 6: I'm gonna's sick, do you? What do you think, Maggie.
- 18:25Speaker 6: I'm not big on it. But what I don't like
- 18:28Speaker 6: about it as he's saying that people aren't backbones, and
- 18:31Speaker 6: that's not what we do here. That's a good point,
- 18:33Speaker 6: we say people are backbones. It might get better later.
- 18:36Speaker 6: I just need a bit. I need a bit more more.
- 18:39Speaker 6: I need no, I don't. I need to hear the
- 18:41Speaker 6: whole thing. I need to hear some real deduce it's
- 18:44Speaker 6: a bit negative around the backbone and I don't.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Support that, neither do I. Magie. In fact, are never
- 18:51Speaker 3: play that again? And keysy?
- 18:52Speaker 10: Really?
- 18:53Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying? Never When I'm in the room.
- 18:56Speaker 5: You don't play that scene.
- 18:57Speaker 7: You're pointing at me in saying that makes me want
- 18:59Speaker 7: to play it again, because otherwise.
- 19:01Speaker 8: People will think I do whatever you say.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It's true.
- 19:03Speaker 5: It sounds like a puck sound special that one that
- 19:06Speaker 5: he slept it in there somehow, because I know he's
- 19:10Speaker 5: been talking about it a lot.
- 19:11Speaker 6: We'll try this one on for size then, ah eh,
- 19:18Speaker 6: I had this one too, But what queens.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And stand agent the Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt,
- 19:25Speaker 1: Mike Minogue and Kisey.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Use indeed a bit amus for your Monday afternoon, just
- 19:31Speaker 5: to ease you through the day, New Zealand.
- 19:34Speaker 8: So good Jason, Thanks man.
- 19:35Speaker 7: It's forty minutes past five. Hey, listen out for the
- 19:38Speaker 7: twenty five grand Fiddler. It is happening for the entire month.
- 19:40Speaker 7: If you hear a song play that has some fiddle
- 19:43Speaker 7: mixed into it, give us a call straightaway eight hundred
- 19:45Speaker 7: haduky and you could be into win your share of
- 19:47Speaker 7: twenty five.
- 19:48Speaker 8: Grand Holy happen.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Wow Wow, Wow, Hey.
- 19:55Speaker 6: You had a pretty amazing weekend, fellows. We're sort of.
- 19:57Speaker 8: Your You know this, James, You've got a few than that,
- 20:01Speaker 8: I'm sure.
- 20:02Speaker 6: And you're just sort of going along and you're taking
- 20:04Speaker 6: off a sort of a list of things that you
- 20:08Speaker 6: that they're going to do for the first time. Sure,
- 20:10Speaker 6: just treasured memories.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Kezy, Is this one and half Mogi's.
- 20:15Speaker 6: If you want?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Oh god, seems a shame to waste it.
- 20:24Speaker 10: One and a half movies? So good.
- 20:29Speaker 6: So one of the things that was on the list
- 20:30Speaker 6: was my daughter had never been to the sky tower
- 20:34Speaker 6: at the top of the sky Tower, right, oh man,
- 20:37Speaker 6: how good?
- 20:38Speaker 9: How good?
- 20:38Speaker 6: When's the last time you did that?
- 20:39Speaker 3: Fell Skytower?
- 20:42Speaker 6: You're up the top there.
- 20:44Speaker 3: About three months ago? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:48Speaker 6: What about you, Kezy? Probably twenty years ago? Oh wow,
- 20:51Speaker 6: when I was a young flower. Oh man, treat yourself.
- 20:54Speaker 6: You get up the app and I think something that's
- 20:57Speaker 6: changed for me is that I'm not a big fan
- 21:01Speaker 6: of the heights anymore. I got to say, sure, I
- 21:03Speaker 6: never used to have a problem with it at all,
- 21:05Speaker 6: but I sort of found when I was up there,
- 21:06Speaker 6: they've got the glass floor. There's that sort of thing
- 21:09Speaker 6: that you stand on the glass floor and there's about
- 21:11Speaker 6: what is it, three hundred meters? I think it is ridiculous.
- 21:14Speaker 6: So anyway, but yeah, you get in there, down the
- 21:16Speaker 6: bottom there, and what there's sort of like any tourist
- 21:19Speaker 6: attraction where they're trying to fleece you from the moment
- 21:22Speaker 6: you set foot on the property. So you pay your ticket,
- 21:27Speaker 6: then you walk past a woman who walks here. In
- 21:29Speaker 6: this case, on other occasions there might have been a
- 21:31Speaker 6: male there. Good point, but on this occasion it was right.
- 21:37Speaker 6: And she said, would you like to get a nice
- 21:38Speaker 6: family photo? And she jested towards a wall which was
- 21:43Speaker 6: completely blank. Would you like to get a nice family
- 21:47Speaker 6: photo in front of this blank wall on the ground
- 21:50Speaker 6: floor of Skytower? My answer was no. She goes nice
- 21:55Speaker 6: family photo? I said, no, not interested. If I want
- 21:57Speaker 6: to know, I can get a nicer family photo than
- 21:59Speaker 6: that anywhere else than here, and I wouldn't have to
- 22:03Speaker 6: pay fifty bucks for anither. Hang on, what color was
- 22:05Speaker 6: the wall? It wasn't a green screen, No, what color
- 22:09Speaker 6: was it? It was like a charcoal. Yeah, it's quite
- 22:11Speaker 6: a nice one, charcoal. And where was that Skytower? And
- 22:17Speaker 6: so then we go up the lift. There there's a
- 22:20Speaker 6: bunch of people in the lift. They were quite excited
- 22:23Speaker 6: about it, and they were annoying because of that. And
- 22:26Speaker 6: then you get out, You get out of the lift,
- 22:29Speaker 6: and it's not a big like you walk around a
- 22:31Speaker 6: big circle. Obviously, yes for anybody who knows that people
- 22:34Speaker 6: out of town might not know, but you just sort
- 22:36Speaker 6: of walk around it. It probably takes you about thirty
- 22:39Speaker 6: seconds if you're going really slowly. And they you get
- 22:44Speaker 6: the feeling that they know that what they're offering is
- 22:48Speaker 6: garbage because they've got an ice cream stool there. Next
- 22:53Speaker 6: to the ice cream stool, they've got a virtual reality
- 22:57Speaker 6: headset saying where you can light down onto the machine
- 23:01Speaker 6: the viewers in front of you. You put a headset
- 23:04Speaker 6: on so that you can't see that view and you
- 23:07Speaker 6: pay for it sixty bucks or something. And then and
- 23:10Speaker 6: then you do that that for a while. Then you
- 23:12Speaker 6: can go higher up. You can go actually higher up.
- 23:14Speaker 6: There's another few stories that can go up. You go
- 23:16Speaker 6: up there and you know those dance those video games
- 23:19Speaker 6: where they've got the pads and you don't you.
- 23:21Speaker 8: Do Dance Dance Revolution or whatever it's.
- 23:24Speaker 6: They've got one of those machines up there. Wow, And
- 23:27Speaker 6: where was this the skytower? And my question is do
- 23:30Speaker 6: we need these things up here?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Because if we.
- 23:32Speaker 6: Do, then maybe we shouldn't be charging forty two dollars
- 23:36Speaker 6: for an adult to go up the same. I mean,
- 23:41Speaker 6: all it is is higher than normal.
- 23:44Speaker 8: What do you want up there? Yes, twen of the Nile.
- 23:46Speaker 6: No, no, I don't want anything up there. But what
- 23:48Speaker 6: I what I want is it should be I said
- 23:50Speaker 6: to my wife factors, I said, I said my wife,
- 23:55Speaker 6: I said, how much do you think that is worth?
- 23:58Speaker 6: How much should you be charged to that? She's like
- 24:00Speaker 6: ten bucks? Yes, and that was my vibe. So it
- 24:03Speaker 6: is ten bucks. You go up there, you're finished in
- 24:06Speaker 6: one minute, and then you it's just like now I'm
- 24:09Speaker 6: just staying up here because I've paid forty two bucks.
- 24:12Speaker 6: So it cost one hundred and five dollars for myself,
- 24:15Speaker 6: my wife and a five year old kid to be
- 24:17Speaker 6: marginally higher than usual.
- 24:19Speaker 9: Yes.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Look, and I'm gonna be honest with you. I know
- 24:22Speaker 5: exactly what you mean. My daughter's for my wife's birthday,
- 24:26Speaker 5: bought her a sky jump, but she was stoked about
- 24:32Speaker 5: But like every step, like you're saying, someone was trying
- 24:36Speaker 5: to sell you something like photos like that, it's like, yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 5: my wife was like, I just want to get this
- 24:40Speaker 5: done now.
- 24:41Speaker 3: My daughter did it as well.
- 24:43Speaker 5: As one of the funniest things I've ever seen is
- 24:45Speaker 5: my daughter jump off the skytower.
- 24:47Speaker 3: It's it's hilarious.
- 24:48Speaker 7: I've been to your house though, and I've seen you've
- 24:49Speaker 7: got that photo of your whole family in front of
- 24:51Speaker 7: that beautiful charcoal wall.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Well it was a very special family moment, Keezy. I
- 24:56Speaker 5: didn't want to miss it.
- 24:58Speaker 3: How much was that eighty buck.
- 25:00Speaker 1: The Darkey Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune.
- 25:03Speaker 5: In four on Radio Birosmith. There on the radio Hodnarkey
- 25:08Speaker 5: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is now five
- 25:10Speaker 5: to twenty four. Now earlier in that I think it
- 25:13Speaker 5: was last week we discussed the breakdancing at the Olympics.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Should it be there? Yale or nay? It was an
- 25:19Speaker 3: overwhelming nay it shouldn't be there.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Well, New Zealand voted that no, it shouldn't be there. However,
- 25:24Speaker 7: I was sticking up for it and saying, hang on,
- 25:25Speaker 7: we're going to give this thing a chance. We haven't
- 25:26Speaker 7: even seen it yet. Now it has happened. The whole
- 25:30Speaker 7: Fiesco with Raygun has happened. What is the vibe on
- 25:34Speaker 7: breakdancing at the Olympics?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Is this vanilla or radio? We know it's not.
- 25:39Speaker 7: It's no, hang on, it's genuine like because I was
- 25:43Speaker 7: completely on the side of let's give it a chance.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I'll be genuine with your keezy all right, And quite
- 25:49Speaker 5: quite seriously, I watched it. I was embarrassed when I
- 25:53Speaker 5: was embarrassed watching it. I love a bit of breakdance
- 25:56Speaker 5: and I used to bust the moves out back in
- 25:58Speaker 5: the day.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Don't you worry, You're a bee boy hard out.
- 26:01Speaker 5: But what I found really embarrassing about it most of all,
- 26:04Speaker 5: was not even the breakdancing, was the other competitors standing
- 26:07Speaker 5: there with their arms crossed, just walking around the.
- 26:09Speaker 3: The It was like, no, no, no, this is embarrassing.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Did it bug you watching it?
- 26:15Speaker 9: Hell?
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yes, yes, bug.
- 26:21Speaker 6: I do find it.
- 26:23Speaker 10: You know.
- 26:24Speaker 6: The beauty of the breakdancing, and having watched it as well,
- 26:27Speaker 6: is that you and I could go and compete next time.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Jason totally.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Man, well, I mean well, based on what I saw
- 26:34Speaker 6: one hundred per one hundred percent, there was nothing that
- 26:37Speaker 6: you saw there. I mean I embarrassed myself at Olympic
- 26:40Speaker 6: level too. Absolutely, I can easily embarrass myself that badly
- 26:44Speaker 6: in front of the whole world.
- 26:46Speaker 5: I would look pretty cool, to be fair, But I
- 26:49Speaker 5: take your point.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Yes, you know what I mean, and it was just stupid.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Can I just say it as someone who's stuck up
- 26:57Speaker 7: for it initially because I want to give it the chart.
- 26:59Speaker 8: I want to see this there. Good on you, Kezy,
- 27:00Speaker 8: what thanks man.
- 27:01Speaker 7: What I think it is is, I don't think it's
- 27:03Speaker 7: breakdancing has come and is stupid. I think they have
- 27:06Speaker 7: taken breakdancing out of wherever you do break dancing in
- 27:10Speaker 7: an environment where it is fitting, the music's cooled, the
- 27:13Speaker 7: environment works, it's night, whatever it might be, and they've
- 27:15Speaker 7: put it on a stage at ten am during a
- 27:18Speaker 7: prestigious sporting event. It's not breakdancing's fault. It's whoever decided
- 27:23Speaker 7: to make it part of the Olympics, you.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Know what I mean?
- 27:25Speaker 6: Heaps of breakdancing stuff and I've never seen it like that. No,
- 27:28Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't know what that was. It's
- 27:30Speaker 6: normally really impressive and amazing and highly entertaining, but that wasn't.
- 27:35Speaker 6: And the beauty of it, I guess is that whoever
- 27:38Speaker 6: won the gold medal for that. No, it's got extreme
- 27:41Speaker 6: value because breakdancing will never be back at the Olympics again.
- 27:44Speaker 3: It is gong I would totally agree with that.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah, And as I say, genuinely, I was embarrassed watching it.
- 27:51Speaker 5: I was just going and I think you're right, Keysy.
- 27:53Speaker 5: It's just completely out of context. Absolutely, and it's just stupid.
- 27:56Speaker 7: They had two MC's and like trying to g up
- 27:58Speaker 7: the crowd and stuff, and everyone sitting there with this
- 27:59Speaker 7: sign and their banners.
- 28:01Speaker 6: That's not breakdown.
- 28:01Speaker 3: And who's marking it?
- 28:03Speaker 6: Well the judgudges.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Well obviously I know why you ask, what are they doing?
- 28:08Speaker 5: Oh, that flop was good? Well who knows that kangaroo
- 28:13Speaker 5: jump was good? And what's it based on?
- 28:15Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Other breakdancing from other people.
- 28:18Speaker 7: There must be special moves and stuff. But then they're
- 28:20Speaker 7: having like it's a battle and then the other person
- 28:22Speaker 7: is to sit there nodding. It's just out of context.
- 28:24Speaker 8: It didn't work.
- 28:25Speaker 6: It needs to be. They've already made a decision. It's
- 28:27Speaker 6: not going to be at l A right. It's a
- 28:29Speaker 6: shame because the LA loves Break.
- 28:33Speaker 3: That's where it came from. Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 28:36Speaker 12: Now listen coming up because I think we've had the
- 28:41Speaker 12: final word on this now, uh the one on only
- 28:44Speaker 12: Patrick Gower who's going to coming out, So he's going
- 28:47Speaker 12: to be chatting to us next.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I can see him out there in the year and
- 28:50Speaker 3: the offices.
- 28:50Speaker 8: Yeah, in the office warming up.
- 28:52Speaker 7: But also let's not forget it is Monday, so after
- 28:54Speaker 7: six it will be What's for.
- 28:55Speaker 6: Tea New Zealand.
- 28:56Speaker 7: If you already know what you have, why not text
- 28:58Speaker 7: here now on three four eight three and you can
- 28:59Speaker 7: win a fifty dollar nine day vouch.
- 29:01Speaker 6: You know what I mean.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but don't rush, no, I do.
- 29:04Speaker 6: It now to be great. Patrick gow up next.
- 29:07Speaker 1: The Aki Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keys.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Oh indeed Faith no more there on the radio Hodaki
- 29:14Speaker 5: Big Show this Monday afternoon. What a special treat we've
- 29:19Speaker 5: got in the studio with us in this afternoon, isn't it.
- 29:22Speaker 5: I can tell you, Maggie and Kezy we're fizzing about this.
- 29:25Speaker 5: I was pretty excited too. We've got the one and
- 29:27Speaker 5: only Patty Gower in the studio with us, because Petty, Petty,
- 29:33Speaker 5: you've got another show coming out made on ice on Ice.
- 29:35Speaker 10: Yeah, took us through it.
- 29:37Speaker 6: Man.
- 29:37Speaker 10: Well look it's not I says a myth.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I'm not interested.
- 29:43Speaker 13: It's not like Disney on Ice. It's not being a
- 29:45Speaker 13: lead Tanya Harding sort of stuff.
- 29:47Speaker 6: That's coming up though, because you are running out of ideas.
- 29:51Speaker 13: It's on the list. There's been a one pager made up.
- 29:55Speaker 13: You know what those are. There's been a one page
- 29:57Speaker 13: made up. Yeah, it's an idea. I am running out
- 29:59Speaker 13: of ideas well. Actually, I mean I'm bloody unemployed, so
- 30:02Speaker 13: I'm full of ideas and a lot of guys have
- 30:04Speaker 13: been saying whins you think's docco coming out?
- 30:05Speaker 10: Mate?
- 30:06Speaker 13: Patrick Gower on the doll Yeah, yeah, has issues with
- 30:11Speaker 13: keeping the job.
- 30:13Speaker 5: I've gotta be honest with you, Patty. My unemployment is
- 30:16Speaker 5: we're probably the happiest of my life. A few darries,
- 30:20Speaker 5: a few beers, a couple of darts, yeah, some some
- 30:23Speaker 5: two minute noodles.
- 30:25Speaker 13: Get on the Rothmans, yeah yeah, the.
- 30:28Speaker 5: The pie, sandwiches, jazz many. But no, it's it's not
- 30:33Speaker 5: ice in terms of what we were thinking. It's we're
- 30:36Speaker 5: talking the environment here.
- 30:37Speaker 13: We're talking the environment, the natural environment and tactic.
- 30:41Speaker 10: I went down there last.
- 30:42Speaker 11: Year, cold cold question thanks as.
- 30:46Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry about you.
- 30:49Speaker 13: But thirty five degrees negative negative in the negative negative
- 30:53Speaker 13: thirty five and boy it was it was bloody freezing that's.
- 30:57Speaker 8: Good, right, you want it to be cold down there,
- 30:59Speaker 8: that's a good sign.
- 31:00Speaker 10: Was good that it was cold.
- 31:00Speaker 13: I would have been worried if I'd gone down there
- 31:02Speaker 13: it was hot. I would have been It would have
- 31:06Speaker 13: been an interesting story to come back with. But yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 13: it was cold, and there was a lot of ice around.
- 31:10Speaker 13: Like I looked around, you know, naked eye, shipload of ice.
- 31:14Speaker 13: But you know, the scientists are saying, actually the ice
- 31:16Speaker 13: is disappearing quite rapidly. It's going to warm up the
- 31:18Speaker 13: rest of the world. And we're in the ship.
- 31:20Speaker 6: Did you do your own research though, because I mean,
- 31:22Speaker 6: come on, yeah, that's right.
- 31:24Speaker 13: And there was a secret ice wall that I just
- 31:26Speaker 13: couldn't I just couldn't find it. I went out a
- 31:29Speaker 13: couple of times, had a little look around the corner
- 31:32Speaker 13: from Scott Base ice wall behind it. Have you heard
- 31:37Speaker 13: of that? Jase goes through it through to another world down.
- 31:42Speaker 9: There, right?
- 31:43Speaker 6: You't You might not have heard about this, Jose, But
- 31:45Speaker 6: the world is flat, and as a result of the
- 31:49Speaker 6: world being flat, there is an ice wall at the
- 31:51Speaker 6: end of at the end of the Earth.
- 31:54Speaker 13: There'll be a hell of a scooping. It would have
- 31:56Speaker 13: been the you know, I would be just the hugest.
- 32:00Speaker 13: But anyway, there wasn't one there, Yeah, there wasn't one there.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Just could we be serious for a second, please hear fellas.
- 32:05Speaker 3: This is a bloody serious topic. It is bloody pull
- 32:08Speaker 3: your heads.
- 32:09Speaker 11: In a little bit now some thanks, dad.
- 32:12Speaker 5: Because we've already we've already gone so many of the
- 32:16Speaker 5: experts are saying, we're already passed the point in return. Yeah,
- 32:20Speaker 5: did you make this series and go? Oh god, how depressing?
- 32:23Speaker 5: Why did I take this on?
- 32:25Speaker 10: Yep? I did?
- 32:25Speaker 13: Actually, yeah it was bloody frightening because you're quite right,
- 32:29Speaker 13: you know, I didn't know a huge amount of about it.
- 32:32Speaker 10: But Antarctica's mounting.
- 32:33Speaker 13: It could cause four meters of sea the al rise
- 32:36Speaker 13: if one part of it goes. It could cause ten
- 32:37Speaker 13: meters of rise if the other pack goes. And basically
- 32:40Speaker 13: what these scientists are saying is, hey, look it's a beast.
- 32:43Speaker 10: We've awoken it. We can't go back.
- 32:45Speaker 11: You know, you've shaken climate change, you're shaking.
- 32:47Speaker 13: The world, and now you've woken up Antactica, which is
- 32:49Speaker 13: going to rack it all up even worse. So yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 13: you do worry, Jason. You know, it's all about adaptation.
- 32:54Speaker 13: You know you talked about your days on the doll before.
- 32:57Speaker 13: That is how you adapt. You make a pie sandwich.
- 33:00Speaker 13: You adapt to unemployment by making a pie sandwich.
- 33:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 13: So what the world needs to do is the climate
- 33:06Speaker 13: has changed, it needs to make a pis sandwich.
- 33:09Speaker 10: Well not, but you know what I mean. Yeah, Key,
- 33:14Speaker 10: you know what I mean.
- 33:14Speaker 7: I know exactly what you're saying. Man, we need to
- 33:16Speaker 7: adapt and overcome.
- 33:18Speaker 6: One thing.
- 33:18Speaker 7: As a journalist, you've tackled some heavy topics. Now you've
- 33:21Speaker 7: now seen everything, well large parts of very important topics
- 33:25Speaker 7: around New Zealand. How the hell do you keep all
- 33:28Speaker 7: that inside without just, you know, dropping down into a
- 33:30Speaker 7: deep depression about all the nasty things going on in
- 33:32Speaker 7: the world.
- 33:33Speaker 10: Yeah, it's bloody hard, and I mean, you know, it's just.
- 33:36Speaker 6: You don't have a lot of empathy though.
- 33:39Speaker 13: Well look I just look at things and I just go,
- 33:41Speaker 13: you know, pull your bloody socks up and just get
- 33:43Speaker 13: on with life. Just a tough I went when I
- 33:48Speaker 13: went to school, Keysy. You know I used to have
- 33:51Speaker 13: to put my feet in cow tubes to keep warming.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Well, I have to shoes.
- 33:56Speaker 13: But I love doing it, you know, I do it,
- 33:58Speaker 13: and it's a green slud sort of feeling and it's nice.
- 34:02Speaker 10: But yeah, I'm just a tough old bastard.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Keys that's the key.
- 34:05Speaker 13: Yeah, be hard, get hard, right, Okay, Yeah, take a
- 34:08Speaker 13: concrete pelkey.
- 34:09Speaker 3: We've got to get back to this, Patty. But what
- 34:11Speaker 3: we'll do, we'll go to head like a whole.
- 34:13Speaker 11: Yes, that's ideal.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Actually, ironically, I'm on fire.
- 34:18Speaker 11: Whoa popped up?
- 34:22Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole Actually, big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 34:27Speaker 1: Minogue and Keezy.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah. There there's a a Petty absolute and I'm on
- 34:34Speaker 3: fire shoe.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Now we've got Patty Gower in the studio with us
- 34:38Speaker 5: because he's just launching a new show, which you're starting tonight.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Is it?
- 34:41Speaker 13: Yeah, Petty Gower on Ice. Patrick, it's actually Patrick. That's
- 34:45Speaker 13: my documentary brand. Yeah name because you know it's sort
- 34:48Speaker 13: of like Louis Vaton.
- 34:50Speaker 10: Yeah brand.
- 34:51Speaker 13: So Patrick Gower on Ice seven thirty tonight on three
- 34:56Speaker 13: or you can get it on three.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Now, I've got a question for you, mate.
- 34:58Speaker 6: I through in the one of the weekend rags or
- 35:02Speaker 6: the papers there Wealth you got a foul mouth on
- 35:05Speaker 6: your There was a headline there saying that you're down
- 35:07Speaker 6: there in Antarctica and that you had to pess in
- 35:10Speaker 6: a bottle, and I just thought, is that necessary?
- 35:11Speaker 3: Man?
- 35:12Speaker 6: Well, and a follow up question, did you have to
- 35:14Speaker 6: put it in the headline of the newspaper?
- 35:16Speaker 10: Me?
- 35:16Speaker 13: Well, look, look, I pushed back on that, because that's
- 35:19Speaker 13: actually fake news. I very clearly said to them, and
- 35:26Speaker 13: I recorded this interview because I do not trust journalists,
- 35:30Speaker 13: know well, why would you? Why would you? Why would you?
- 35:33Speaker 13: I said to them that I needed to go wheeze. Okay,
- 35:38Speaker 13: interview and antactic. I needed to go wheeze in a bottle.
- 35:41Speaker 13: They were my words. I needed to go wheeze in
- 35:44Speaker 13: a bottle. That is the exact direct quote. You didn't
- 35:46Speaker 13: then the bloody media, the bloody media say takes a
- 35:51Speaker 13: person in the bottle. Petty Gower goes to Antactica and
- 35:54Speaker 13: takes a person a bottle.
- 35:55Speaker 6: Were you disgusted by that headline?
- 35:56Speaker 10: Men?
- 35:57Speaker 13: Yeah, I wanted to resign as a journalist. Then I
- 35:59Speaker 13: realized that have a job, Patty. I was keen to resign,
- 36:03Speaker 13: but I was unemployed, so I couldn't.
- 36:05Speaker 3: True story.
- 36:06Speaker 5: I actually did urinate when I was in Antarctica and
- 36:09Speaker 5: I got attacked by a seal while while I was
- 36:12Speaker 5: urinating lost the testicle really unfortunately there.
- 36:17Speaker 6: But yeah, he's.
- 36:20Speaker 11: You can't you can't go wheeze there, So you can't
- 36:26Speaker 11: go wheeze there.
- 36:26Speaker 13: It was a white seal, yeah, about vicious. I was
- 36:32Speaker 13: worried about a narwhol coming out and and and hitting
- 36:35Speaker 13: the thing, so I just just wanted to keep it
- 36:37Speaker 13: in or just going. I just wanted to or penguin,
- 36:41Speaker 13: you know, yeah, penguin. It's a real rest. No, you're
- 36:44Speaker 13: not allowed to go wheeze there when you're out and
- 36:46Speaker 13: about because it's a zero waste environment. So you can't
- 36:49Speaker 13: just go and jump behind an iceberg as much as
- 36:52Speaker 13: Jason rickins he has and go wheeze, because that's actually
- 36:54Speaker 13: not allowed. They don't want yellow snow or yellow ice
- 36:57Speaker 13: down there. So you've got to carry everywhere you go
- 36:59Speaker 13: down there a big bottle, big bot, a big bot.
- 37:02Speaker 10: And and go wee's in there. Yeah. Yeah, this that's
- 37:06Speaker 10: what I was doing.
- 37:07Speaker 5: I was weaning a bottle and it's melting quickly enough
- 37:09Speaker 5: as it is without us ween.
- 37:11Speaker 10: Right.
- 37:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 37:12Speaker 7: Can I ask a question just a sense all good Patrick,
- 37:17Speaker 7: something you've touched on your current unemployment, right, yeah, yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 7: I have ten years experience making television in New Zealand,
- 37:22Speaker 7: and I feel like my skills are completely useless.
- 37:25Speaker 6: What is going on with TV in New Zealand? Is
- 37:27Speaker 6: it did in your opinion?
- 37:31Speaker 10: Absolutely not?
- 37:32Speaker 13: I mean, you know, with skilled individuals like I'm looking
- 37:35Speaker 13: at three of them.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Here the problem.
- 37:38Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know the four of us.
- 37:40Speaker 13: I mean, if you look at the four of us
- 37:42Speaker 13: here right now, there is no way that TV can
- 37:45Speaker 13: be dead with warriors like this ready to rise up.
- 37:49Speaker 10: Right, It's like there's ready to rise up.
- 37:51Speaker 13: I mean your ten years you know, yeah, Minogues had
- 37:55Speaker 13: about twenty.
- 37:56Speaker 11: Yeah, I've had thirty.
- 37:58Speaker 8: Yeah, forty least at least.
- 38:01Speaker 13: That to be a minimum in television, you know, and
- 38:05Speaker 13: in Hoiiti years you know, maybe he's had one hundred
- 38:07Speaker 13: and fifty years experience. So you know, we just need
- 38:10Speaker 13: to group together create some sort of conglomerate.
- 38:13Speaker 6: And f TV was dead, it wouldn't be screening the
- 38:16Speaker 6: two special Patrick gow on tonight.
- 38:20Speaker 13: It might be the last thing. It might be the
- 38:22Speaker 13: last thing. They might shut the doors tonight.
- 38:25Speaker 10: That might be it.
- 38:26Speaker 5: But very quickly, Patty, yes, in terms of the club,
- 38:30Speaker 5: do you come up with some answers in this in
- 38:33Speaker 5: this show, or we figure out if needs to watch
- 38:36Speaker 5: it all, do we just go, oh, let's just flag.
- 38:38Speaker 13: It No, in all honesty in the show, people will see.
- 38:42Speaker 13: I start to talk that we actually need to change
- 38:45Speaker 13: our mindset around it. And this is very serious after
- 38:47Speaker 13: we've been joking around a lot. But I actually do
- 38:49Speaker 13: think that we need to start getting ready to adapt
- 38:52Speaker 13: that it's coming. It's probably going to come quicker than
- 38:54Speaker 13: we think, and we need to live in different ways.
- 38:56Speaker 13: And by that I'm talking about stuff like getting away
- 38:59Speaker 13: from the coastline, moving inland, big big things that people
- 39:02Speaker 13: probably haven't thought about.
- 39:04Speaker 10: Yep.
- 39:04Speaker 13: Sure we can slow it down, change all the sort
- 39:06Speaker 13: of things in that. But I actually think, look, it's coming, right,
- 39:08Speaker 13: So that is that not a very nice.
- 39:10Speaker 7: That's good Jason's family batch, it's a happy place on
- 39:13Speaker 7: earth that's right on the coastline.
- 39:14Speaker 8: Has that gone soon?
- 39:16Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 39:16Speaker 13: I get out of there, first place to go. Yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 13: I'll tell you what we'll go on it. I'll tell
- 39:23Speaker 13: you what we'll go on it as insurance you better
- 39:25Speaker 13: ensure it. Yeah yeah, yeah, and then and then that'll
- 39:28Speaker 13: be the start of it.
- 39:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 10: Yeah, So don't burn it down.
- 39:31Speaker 5: No, I mean it's not even mine to burn down.
- 39:37Speaker 13: Someone else's back. Yeah, just the key is, that's correct,
- 39:41Speaker 13: the old key. Just just have it out of the
- 39:44Speaker 13: main holidays. They just go on the shoulder season, shoulder
- 39:47Speaker 13: season batch exactly.
- 39:50Speaker 5: Finally, Patty, where and when again? Just for the punters out.
- 39:53Speaker 13: The seven seven o'clock tonight on three and tomorrow night.
- 39:58Speaker 13: But people can watch it right now on three now
- 40:01Speaker 13: really now, you could go on now, right now, right
- 40:03Speaker 13: now after the show, yes, after the show, don't don't
- 40:06Speaker 13: miss this, wait till seven.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, Patty, good on you mate, absolutely, I'm
- 40:14Speaker 5: glad you found a bit of work, little.
- 40:17Speaker 6: Bit, a little bit here and in your life, a
- 40:19Speaker 6: little bit here and there.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Good on you man.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Okay, the whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike

- 41:32Speaker 6: call that?
- 41:33Speaker 3: I've never been a burpie person, to be honest, Mogie.
- 41:35Speaker 6: Not a little bit gassy there, a little.
- 41:39Speaker 3: My esophagus is on fire.
- 41:41Speaker 7: Your knicks also sore? Yeah, and you're a bit crooky
- 41:44Speaker 7: as well. You were saying, it's doing.
- 41:45Speaker 3: This weird tweaky thing.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Every time I move it, it sort of goes spasm spasm.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Probably look well, man, probably the weights I was doing
- 41:52Speaker 5: at the gym today.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Yeah, probably so much.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Right, one Ady k kigs Man.
- 41:58Speaker 6: It's more than poor technique.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I just ripped You're probably right.
- 42:02Speaker 5: While we're using your neck, I'm smashing out one hundred
- 42:05Speaker 5: and eighty kegs and my techniques all over the place
- 42:07Speaker 5: where I still lift the bastard.
- 42:09Speaker 8: You get on your mate back.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Hey.
- 42:11Speaker 5: In the podcast out Show today, which is bonus material
- 42:15Speaker 5: we do outside of the radio show, what do we
- 42:17Speaker 5: chat about?
- 42:18Speaker 6: Pheller all sorts today, I'm geo politics. There was a
- 42:23Speaker 6: little bit of sort of Antarctica Chad as well, the
- 42:27Speaker 6: birth of Antarctica and one hundred BC. Wasn't it cozy?
- 42:31Speaker 6: What else we have?
- 42:32Speaker 8: One hundred BC?
- 42:33Speaker 11: Was it?
- 42:33Speaker 10: Oh?
- 42:33Speaker 6: Yeah, it's only been around for a couple of thousand years.
- 42:36Speaker 7: We also chatted about smokes. Smokes, that's the name of
- 42:39Speaker 7: the little clip I've got to play here.
- 42:41Speaker 6: You kept asking lots of questions about this. That's so interesting.
- 42:43Speaker 6: I can't smoke because I've got asthma. Asthma don't say
- 42:47Speaker 6: it like that, so it's just you know, asthma, Yes, asthma,
- 42:52Speaker 6: that's correct.
- 42:53Speaker 7: Here's a clip of tonight's Podcast Out Show, which comes
- 42:55Speaker 7: out at seven thirty pm. Could you just do have
- 43:00Speaker 7: who smokes the day and that's it. No, it's like
- 43:02Speaker 7: if you either cold turkey, right, or just two a day,
- 43:05Speaker 7: one in the morning and one after the show.
- 43:07Speaker 6: Is that an option?
- 43:09Speaker 10: An option?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Not really?
- 43:11Speaker 8: No, so cold turkey is the only option.
- 43:13Speaker 6: What about your purt drinking? Could you just have two
- 43:15Speaker 6: every time? Every time you drink? You only ever have two?
- 43:18Speaker 6: I mean if I had to? Yeah, I actually could
- 43:21Speaker 6: for the rest of your life. No, not for the
- 43:22Speaker 6: rest Yeah, hang on.
- 43:27Speaker 3: That was keasy triggering me with Darry chat.
- 43:31Speaker 8: Yeah.

- 47:30Speaker 8: Here she is Bob Odenkirk.
- 47:33Speaker 1: The Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 47:37Speaker 1: in weekdays four on Radio Hoky Es.
- 47:40Speaker 5: Indeed, talking heads here on the radio, Holdanky Big Show. Well,
- 47:43Speaker 5: we had the weekend to relax and watch a bit
- 47:45Speaker 5: of TV, so let's have some TV chat.
- 47:49Speaker 10: What's on the.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 47:56Speaker 6: Yeah, now, okay, I think you might have watched this already, Joseph.
- 48:07Speaker 6: I feel like you might have spoken about this, But
- 48:09Speaker 6: I watched one episode only of those About to Die. Yes,
- 48:14Speaker 6: you started watching that. Yes, it's Anthony Hopkins and a
- 48:19Speaker 6: it's in the Roman Empire, based on sort of probably
- 48:25Speaker 6: things that happen in history, but certainly you've had a
- 48:27Speaker 6: little bit of salt pepper added to it, you know
- 48:29Speaker 6: what I'm saying, a little bit of lemons. This a
- 48:31Speaker 6: little bit of cracked pepper, bit of mustard as well. Sure,
- 48:35Speaker 6: and a look, whenever you're dealing with that Roman Empire
- 48:39Speaker 6: stuff and everything now is going to be compared to
- 48:42Speaker 6: Game of Thrones.
- 48:43Speaker 3: It's a little bit of that.
- 48:44Speaker 6: It's a little bit of political intrigue. Yes, it's a
- 48:47Speaker 6: little bit of blood and gore, isn't it, with a
- 48:50Speaker 6: bit of swords and all that sort of carry on. Yes,
- 48:52Speaker 6: And it's a little bit of rooting busies, some buzzies,
- 48:56Speaker 6: some buzies, buzzies and uh. It's the first episode, which
- 49:03Speaker 6: is normally the worst. It was entirely watchable and we'll
- 49:06Speaker 6: definitely keep on going. It's very weird color. It's a
- 49:08Speaker 6: very yellow saturated cinematography. But yeah, give it a run.
- 49:13Speaker 6: It's on your old Prime there. I'll keep you updated
- 49:15Speaker 6: as to how it goes. How fun did you get?
- 49:17Speaker 3: I watched the whole lot?
- 49:18Speaker 6: Oh you did, George, doesn't mean it's good?
- 49:21Speaker 3: No, No, don't say anything.
- 49:23Speaker 8: Don't sway me either way.
- 49:25Speaker 5: Okay, No, I want to know what you're It's fine,
- 49:27Speaker 5: it deteriorated, right, it's quite quite dramatic.
- 49:33Speaker 6: And now what's going on? But I'm interested to know
- 49:35Speaker 6: your feelings on it.
- 49:36Speaker 5: It got, it got in terms of the effects and
- 49:38Speaker 5: things like that. Very silly, right and kind of what
- 49:42Speaker 5: the what am I watching now?
- 49:43Speaker 6: Sure, so you were confused by it, I'll probably love.
- 49:46Speaker 5: It, I I but I the first few episodes.
- 49:49Speaker 3: I enjoyed the okay, good went Oh that's good, okay great.
- 49:52Speaker 3: I watched the Holdovers. Oh you did?
- 49:57Speaker 6: I had to watch that one of pull GMR Paul
- 50:00Speaker 6: Giamati Eclaomy Award nominated director way of Alexander Payne, Yes.
- 50:04Speaker 5: And who I love as an actor. Yes, we watched
- 50:08Speaker 5: it last night, and I would characterize it as a
- 50:13Speaker 5: very good Sunday night watch, your classic sort of story,
- 50:17Speaker 5: grumpy old professor who's stuck in a school. All the
- 50:21Speaker 5: kids go away for Christmas break, but a few of
- 50:25Speaker 5: them stay behind, and then another few kids go and
- 50:28Speaker 5: so it's just this Paul giam Marty's professor character, one
- 50:32Speaker 5: student and this lady chef, Yes, and they become kind
- 50:36Speaker 5: of friends friends, and it's a really nice, easy, good
- 50:41Speaker 5: watch and a little bit cliche as you'd imagine it
- 50:45Speaker 5: would be, but quite beautifully shut.
- 50:47Speaker 8: Where did you watch it?
- 50:48Speaker 6: It was on Netflix? Is it Netflix? Same director as Sideways,
- 50:55Speaker 6: which also had Paul Giammarty in it. Yes, with Thomas
- 50:58Speaker 6: Hayden when they go on the wine Taste Yes, and the.
- 51:01Speaker 8: Logo is like the bottle Sideways.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Yeah, easy, feel good movie.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Your wife would like it, I think is that supposed
- 51:10Speaker 5: to be? Well, she doesn't like stressy. What's it called
- 51:14Speaker 5: the Holdovers?
- 51:15Speaker 8: Okay, we'll have a look.
- 51:16Speaker 6: Yes.
- 51:16Speaker 7: I watched another episode of Colin from Accounts sevens in Plus,
- 51:19Speaker 7: once again introducing more.
- 51:27Speaker 8: Well, Mike's just gonna make a fat.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Noise over the top of it because he doesn't risk.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Me my opinion, it's not true. That's not true.
- 51:35Speaker 6: They introduced more minor characters this time.
- 51:37Speaker 7: It's the guy's family and it was an episode we
- 51:39Speaker 7: were watching the whole time, getting really wound up because
- 51:41Speaker 7: they are so punishing.
- 51:42Speaker 6: The first season they you met her family, and that
- 51:45Speaker 6: was that was punishing.
- 51:47Speaker 7: This is more funny and punishing because the dad is
- 51:49Speaker 7: played by this guy who does a great job Tevians.
- 51:52Speaker 8: In Plus you check it out. It's really great.
- 51:54Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue, and Ksy.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Typical there on the radio Honak Big Show. Now the
- 52:02Speaker 5: Big Show is going to be on the road again,
- 52:03Speaker 5: by the way, and I just want to remind the
- 52:05Speaker 5: people of Wellington Beervana the twenty third and twenty fourth
- 52:08Speaker 5: of August. Big Show is going to be down there
- 52:10Speaker 5: to celebrate and in celebration of Beer Vanner in general.
- 52:13Speaker 5: We're focusing on a brewery every day of the week,
- 52:16Speaker 5: aren't we, fell us.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we're out to find the brewery of the day.
- 52:26Speaker 6: Yeah, ah, the brewery of the day.
- 52:29Speaker 7: Every single brewery we feature will be at Beer Vanna
- 52:32Speaker 7: And as Jase mentioned, we'll be there on the twenty third,
- 52:34Speaker 7: which is the Friday, in the afternoon session we will
- 52:36Speaker 7: be recording The Big Show live. Actually, you come along
- 52:39Speaker 7: Today's brewery of the Day. Choice Bros.
- 52:43Speaker 6: That's a good name, thank you. Well, I don't know
- 52:45Speaker 6: what I didn't come up with it, but cheers. Choice Bros.
- 52:48Speaker 7: Is a small brewery in the heart of Wellington, brewing
- 52:50Speaker 7: modern stars using experimental techniques and fun ingredients.
- 52:54Speaker 6: They got hops in there.
- 52:55Speaker 7: Yeah, it's just one of the many, many fun ingredients
- 52:58Speaker 7: the team is all about creating. It serve and thought
- 53:00Speaker 7: provoking craft beer styles that just so happened to be
- 53:03Speaker 7: peered with a music match that encapsulates the style and
- 53:06Speaker 7: flavors of the beer. So they like to match the
- 53:09Speaker 7: beer with music.
- 53:10Speaker 6: Sure, so they're rough to fan the brewery of the beer.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Yes, so that I would probably peer with a pilsner
- 53:19Speaker 2: or something like that, probably, yeah.
- 53:22Speaker 7: Or a lion read if you had to pier some
- 53:25Speaker 7: beers together. Craft be appearings with music's quite tough.
- 53:28Speaker 6: I'll be interested to see how they do it. I'll
- 53:30Speaker 6: be getting involved in that when I'm down there at Beervana,
- 53:33Speaker 6: just drinking a beer with headphones on, listening to the
- 53:35Speaker 6: music peering.
- 53:35Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's a great way to spend the time too,
- 53:38Speaker 5: do you think, fellas, is there anything better than putting
- 53:41Speaker 5: on your skull candies and having a few beers.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Wandering around the house singing to yourself.
- 53:48Speaker 8: I've never done.
- 53:49Speaker 5: That ear guitar a gym today, But were you at
- 53:55Speaker 5: the front busking? I was well in view of everyone
- 53:59Speaker 5: in the gym, and it was completely unconscious, and I
- 54:02Speaker 5: was doing this shit and I I saw myself in
- 54:04Speaker 5: the mirror and I went I looked like an absolute lunatic.
- 54:08Speaker 6: Yeah, so what do you What do you listen to
- 54:10Speaker 6: at the gym?
- 54:11Speaker 5: Just rock and roll easy, Like what just hard pumping
- 54:16Speaker 5: jeans get me fired up?
- 54:18Speaker 6: Yeah? Right, so some three doors down or something? Oh
- 54:24Speaker 6: who are those punishers? You know a pil gym.
- 54:31Speaker 8: But anyway, Choice Bros.
- 54:33Speaker 7: They are from Wellington, they will be it'd be a
- 54:35Speaker 7: vana twenty third and twenty fourth of August. Make sure
- 54:37Speaker 7: you come along, have a taste, have a listen to
- 54:39Speaker 7: their musical pairing and see the Big Show live on
- 54:41Speaker 7: the Friday afternoon session.
- 54:43Speaker 6: Hell yeah, do you know if their last name is
- 54:45Speaker 6: Choice and their brothers, that would make sense.
- 54:47Speaker 7: One hundred percent what it is. They wouldn't just call
- 54:49Speaker 7: themselves Choice Bros.
- 54:51Speaker 6: You don't think so? Nah? Okay, we'll just pugs on.
- 54:54Speaker 6: Can you just earmark that brother? We're going to find
- 54:56Speaker 6: out what the truth is when we get down to
- 54:58Speaker 6: be a vanner and the loser hit to scallt kig responsibly.
- 55:02Speaker 8: I can do that anyway.
- 55:03Speaker 7: One of the brothers called Royce, Oh yeah, Royce yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 7: and the other brother used to be called Joyce.
- 55:08Speaker 8: Oh Joyce Joyce anyway.
- 55:11Speaker 1: See a bit of the Whole Archy Big Show week
