- 0:13Speaker 1: You also talked about consistency with that. So how would
- 0:17Speaker 1: you grade yourself?
- 0:18Speaker 2: I'd probably say like a B or a B-. I mean,
- 0:21Speaker 2: it's way better improvement. Just all of that goes into,
- 0:25Speaker 2: you know, it all starts in Indy. But the fundamentals,
- 0:27Speaker 2: just understanding coming off the ball, kicking on the proper angles,
- 0:30Speaker 2: avoiding up kicks, avoiding flashing hands, just trying to, you know,
- 0:33Speaker 2: keep taking.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Out the bad habits. And I feel like I was
- 0:37Speaker 3: pretty productive at it last week.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Are you someone who writes things down, whether it be
- 0:41Speaker 4: motivational or just things to reinforce in a notebook, like
- 0:45Speaker 4: each day?
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, I write notes.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And as far as motivation, I mean, I just go
- 0:50Speaker 2: through me and my dad's message thread. He sends me
- 0:52Speaker 2: motivational videos, like whether it's little YouTube shorts or something
- 0:55Speaker 2: he finds, he sends me that every day, if not
- 0:57Speaker 2: multiple times a day. So I'm definitely big on it.
- 1:00Speaker 2: But as far as note-taking, I'm a big, heavy note-taker.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Just even from high school, I would say starting just
- 1:06Speaker 2: Because you retain more when you write it physically and
- 1:08Speaker 2: not just listen.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I mean, it's not that I'm just listening. It depends
- 1:10Speaker 3: on how you work, how your mind works.
- 1:12Speaker 2: But me personally, I feel like writing it down helps
- 1:15Speaker 2: me retain it and remember it more because I physically
- 1:17Speaker 2: have to write it down.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I feel like that helps me the most.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 1:21Speaker 4: You said you went through like four notebooks and you
- 1:23Speaker 4: might have transitioned to a tablet.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Have you done that yet?
- 1:27Speaker 2: No, I'm probably going to wait until after this week.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Because that's my one, two... That's the fourth one right here.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I got another one that's at home.
- 1:34Speaker 3: But, yeah, that's the fourth one right there.
- 1:37Speaker 4: You got your first taste of regular season NFL action.
- 1:41Speaker 4: What do you remember most from that day, even the
- 1:43Speaker 4: lead-up to that game and pregame and everything else?
- 1:46Speaker 3: I mean, it was surreal.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It felt good, you know, seeing my jersey with the
- 1:50Speaker 2: pads on and just pregame, just going.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Through a warm-up.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I got a little taste of it in preseason, but,
- 1:56Speaker 2: you know, being out there in the regular season, Monday
- 1:59Speaker 2: Night Football, you know, it.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Was an honor. It was a great experience.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I know you had family out there. Did you get
- 2:05Speaker 4: a chance to spend any time with them? I know
- 2:07Speaker 4: there might be time constraints with your schedule.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Like, you didn't have family. Oh, no, no, I didn't
- 2:12Speaker 1: have family.
- 2:12Speaker 3: That was in Tennessee. Yes, sir, it was in Tennessee.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Did you get a chance to explore? After the game?
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 3: After the game in Tennessee, yeah, I saw them. I
- 2:18Speaker 3: saw them.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But in Chicago, did you get a chance to explore?
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, we went to, I think, Carmon or.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It was an Italian restaurant.
- 2:27Speaker 3: It was really good.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I had the chicken parm. I thought the guy was
- 2:30Speaker 2: exaggerating about how big it was. It was literally like
- 2:32Speaker 2: the size of a personal pizza.
- 2:33Speaker 3: It was huge. It was good, though.
- 2:35Speaker 5: It was really good.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I went to downtown at this Australian cafe.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And I had a kangaroo burger.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Really? Did you like it?
- 2:41Speaker 1: It was actually really good.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Okay. How'd you get it cooked?
- 2:43Speaker 1: With an egg on it.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Medium.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It was really lean, obviously.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It was good stuff.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yeah. So you mentioned that you got a chance to
- 2:53Speaker 4: check out that food and everything like that, but you
- 2:57Speaker 4: also mentioned last week that the movers in the guest row,
- 3:00Speaker 4: you had a 4 o'clock appointment, but it wouldn't work
- 3:03Speaker 4: with the schedule here.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Did they end up coming.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Through for you?
- 3:06Speaker 2: No, they're supposed to be coming this Friday at 4,
- 3:08Speaker 2: so it should be good this week.
- 3:10Speaker 3: This Friday? Tomorrow, yeah, tomorrow at 4.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Hopefully we get that knocked out, and I'll be good
- 3:15Speaker 2: to go.
- 3:16Speaker 4: One thing we haven't talked about is what's an average
- 3:18Speaker 4: day like for you when you get to the facility?
- 3:20Speaker 4: What time do you get here and kind of what's
- 3:22Speaker 4: your day-to-day process like?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Well, depending on what we have first, whether it's 8.30
- 3:27Speaker 2: meetings or 8 o'clock lives, I try to get here
- 3:29Speaker 2: about 30, 45 minutes prior just to get comfortable. Sometimes
- 3:32Speaker 2: if I don't cook at my apartment, I'll grab something
- 3:34Speaker 2: to eat, just come here, talk to Kel for a
- 3:36Speaker 2: little bit, just watch some stuff on YouTube, just relax
- 3:38Speaker 2: before the day gets going, a little relaxation time, a
- 3:41Speaker 2: little calm before the storm, so to speak, and then
- 3:44Speaker 2: get my loop on. If it's workouts, I'll go in
- 3:48Speaker 2: there and stretch. Theraguns get loose before, depending on his
- 3:51Speaker 2: upper body or lower body. And then if it's just meetings,
- 3:54Speaker 2: just have my notebook ready and grab a Gatorade or water,
- 3:58Speaker 2: just have something to drink while you're ready for those
- 4:00Speaker 2: meetings and make sure I'm taking notes.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You mentioned doing the Wolverine Claw, I believe, last week.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I finished it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You finished it?
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 4:08Speaker 1: How long did that take you?
- 4:10Speaker 2: A little bit under an hour, because I think it
- 4:12Speaker 2: was one and a half episodes of.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Different world, so a little bit under Alex, yeah. So
- 4:20Speaker 3: you had that on in the background? Yeah, I had
- 4:21Speaker 3: it on in the background.
- 4:23Speaker 4: So far, what would you say is the most noticeable
- 4:26Speaker 4: difference for you personally.
- 4:28Speaker 1: The NFL and college? What's the biggest difference?
- 4:32Speaker 3: As far as my game? No, just anything.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Anything about it, like the biggest contrast.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The biggest difference I would say is just realizing that
- 4:42Speaker 2: it's like it's a man's game up here, you know,
- 4:44Speaker 2: and college is seven, 17 year olds. I was 17
- 4:47Speaker 2: when I first went to college. But up here, I'm
- 4:50Speaker 2: the young guy now. So just understand that it's grown
- 4:53Speaker 2: as people in their 30s, grown men out here.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So just you got to be on it. You got
- 4:56Speaker 3: to bring it every day for sure.
- 4:58Speaker 4: They say, you know, football is a fraternity and you
- 5:00Speaker 4: have a lot of Georgia teammates in the NFL.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Do you keep in touch with any daily? I know
- 5:05Speaker 1: Monroe and.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I talk to Monroe, Dylan.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I mean, I talked to all the guys I was
- 5:13Speaker 2: at Georgia with here and there, whether it was just
- 5:15Speaker 2: a text message or we swiped one of each other's
- 5:17Speaker 2: Instagrams or something like that.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Yeah, we all keep in touch.
- 5:19Speaker 2: So it's a brotherhood for sure.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Thinking back, whether it was in the spring or even
- 5:24Speaker 4: sometime this summer, what was your welcome to the NFL moment?
- 5:28Speaker 2: My welcome to the NFL moment probably happened last game,
- 5:32Speaker 2: field goal. I didn't get my foot down in time,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and I got ran right over. Luckily, they didn't block
- 5:38Speaker 2: the kick, but that was definitely my welcome to the
- 5:40Speaker 2: NFL moment. I hadn't been on my butt like that
- 5:42Speaker 2: in a while.
- 5:44Speaker 1: That was on Monday?
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 4: You majored in learning design and technology?
- 5:51Speaker 3: No, no, I majored in sociology. And they got it wrong. Yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 3: I majored in sociology. My mind was criminal justice.
- 5:59Speaker 1: What inspired you to undertake that?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Oh, well, initially I was going to be a double
- 6:03Speaker 2: major with criminal justice and sociology, but at Georgia, you
- 6:06Speaker 2: got to do internship hours. And with football, I wouldn't
- 6:08Speaker 2: have time for that. But I guess the main thing
- 6:10Speaker 2: was wanting to help people. And then I grew up
- 6:12Speaker 2: watching like Criminal Minds, Law and Order, Blue Bloods, like
- 6:15Speaker 2: cop shows growing up.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I always thought it was cool.
- 6:17Speaker 2: So I knew I wanted to help people in some way.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And then with sociology, it's such a huge pathway. Well,
- 6:22Speaker 2: such a huge, I guess, degree, like just multiple pathways
- 6:25Speaker 2: that you can veer off to.
- 6:27Speaker 3: From that degree. So I feel like that was the
- 6:28Speaker 3: best way.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And then criminal justice as my minor just understanding some
- 6:31Speaker 2: of the law and understanding how people work and how
- 6:34Speaker 2: the judicial system works, how the world works pretty much.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And then having that sociology as my major, understanding people
- 6:41Speaker 2: and how people work, I feel like it's a great combo.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Yeah, small world.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Actually, when I went to college, my first major was sociology.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Really?
- 6:47Speaker 3: I wanted to help people.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I like interacting with people. And I remember I took
- 6:52Speaker 1: a class, I don't know if you did cultural anthropology.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Anthropology? Yeah, yeah. That was a wild class, man. Not
- 6:59Speaker 3: my best.
- 7:02Speaker 4: So the food spots that we talked about last week,
- 7:05Speaker 4: did you get a chance to try any? I think
- 7:07Speaker 4: you said Saturday you were going to try to last Saturday.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Tell me the names again.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I think I mentioned Old Brother, Villa de Roma. Angelo's.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I went to Angelo's. Yes, that's where I went. I
- 7:21Speaker 3: went to Angelo's.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I had the upside-down pizza, and then I had a
- 7:25Speaker 2: Philly with extra Cooper shark cheese, and.
- 7:28Speaker 3: That was it. Like, all the stuff that came on it.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So how was it?
- 7:30Speaker 3: It was good. It was fine. It was fine.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Whenever I recommend something, I'm always nervous.
- 7:35Speaker 2: No, it was fine. The pizza....
- 7:38Speaker 3: So my mom's from Beaver Falls.
- 7:39Speaker 2: There's a pizza shop called D & G in Beaver Falls. Like,
- 7:42Speaker 2: the thick crust like that, that's kind of what the
- 7:43Speaker 2: upside-down pizza reminded.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Me of at Angel's.
- 7:45Speaker 5: It was good.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really good. I like that.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I think they now built a second spot because the
- 7:49Speaker 4: first one is so successful.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And the line just.
- 7:53Speaker 3: No, it makes sense.
- 7:53Speaker 1: All day long, the line just.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I think I might have went to the new one
- 7:55Speaker 3: then because I went to the one.
- 7:59Speaker 2: It's like a train station back there or something. Or
- 8:00Speaker 2: a railroad track, and it's like by a car wash.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I got a membership at the car wash over there.
- 8:04Speaker 1: So you were able to, like, you didn't have any
- 8:06Speaker 1: problems parking?
- 8:07Speaker 3: No.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Then you might have went to the second one.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I probably went to the second one.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think I went to the second one.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Because the one, I always had to.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Park and then walk blocks to get to it. Oh, yeah, no,
- 8:13Speaker 3: I didn't go to that one. I went to the
- 8:14Speaker 3: second one. Okay, yeah, I went to the second one.
- 8:16Speaker 1: So that's good. You like that one.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's good. So I think you can check that
- 8:18Speaker 3: one off the list.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yep, absolutely. Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing

- 11:11Speaker 3: To the theater? Not yet.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I might go see something tonight. I've got to check
- 11:15Speaker 2: and see what's out. I might go see something tonight.
- 11:17Speaker 1: If The Wait's out, I recommend that.
- 11:19Speaker 3: The Wait?
- 11:19Speaker 5: Yeah. Okay.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It's a good movie. Russell Crowe.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:24Speaker 4: But you did mention that you were looking to try
- 11:25Speaker 4: and find a TV series to start to watch.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Any luck?
- 11:29Speaker 3: I finished. It's a spin-off.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It's an older show called A Different World.
- 11:33Speaker 1: That's a, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a 90s show.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they just added, they made a spinoff on Netflix,
- 11:37Speaker 2: and I watched it all, unfortunately, but I binged it,
- 11:40Speaker 2: so I kind of, it was great, it was a
- 11:41Speaker 2: great show, though, I like it, but now I gotta
- 11:43Speaker 2: find something else again, because I binged it all on
- 11:45Speaker 2: an off day, so, yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Well, you, like in, you know, Criminal Justice and all that,
- 11:51Speaker 4: they always have a good documentary, I gotta, I'm sure.
- 11:53Speaker 3: You can find one of those. Yeah, for sure, yeah, yeah.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Um, so, if there were ever to be a movie
- 11:59Speaker 1: about you, who would play you in a movie?
- 12:01Speaker 3: Um, I don't know. I would like.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Big Mike to play him.
- 12:09Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Denzel Washington is my favorite actor.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Go with that? Yeah, Denzel.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Go with that. What's one or two things that you
- 12:25Speaker 1: have on your bucket list? Traveling, anything? Accomplishments?
- 12:30Speaker 2: Honestly, traveling and getting out of the country because I
- 12:33Speaker 2: was When I graduated high school, I wasn't going to
- 12:34Speaker 2: cruise to Jamaica, but it was COVID, so it got canceled.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So going to London again would be great. I'll be
- 12:39Speaker 2: able to mark that off for sure. So going to
- 12:41Speaker 2: see the world.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Have you given any thought about how you're going to
- 12:44Speaker 1: pass the time on the flight?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Sleeping and watching whatever movies they got.
- 12:49Speaker 1: What's one or two things that you're working to achieve
- 12:52Speaker 1: this week?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Just harping on, keeping my feet on the ground, and
- 12:57Speaker 2: pass pro, and then It goes back to the run game,
- 13:00Speaker 2: just getting my second step in the ground and coming
- 13:02Speaker 2: through on contact with force, just making sure that second
- 13:04Speaker 2: foot's in the ground so I'm grounded and have a
- 13:06Speaker 2: good base. Cool.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Appreciate the time, Mike.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Thank you.
