- 0:18Speaker 2: mind from Saga Die this Day line, Don't talk.
- 0:21Speaker 3: You Gotta work.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Welcome to Let's Talk with Carl Lee. Let's Talk is
- 0:26Speaker 4: probably presented by Attorney Frank Walker, Real Talk, Real Experience,
- 0:30Speaker 4: Real results, Frank Walker Law dot Com. Let that conversation
- 0:34Speaker 4: begin on Let's Talk.
- 0:36Speaker 5: Hello, ladies and gentlemen, This is Carl Lee with Let's Talk,
- 0:40Speaker 5: and I have my two co hosts in the building.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I'm not sure if Lisadi's.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Gonna made it very long, but Hollis Lissen is here
- 0:49Speaker 5: and Lisa Odie's here.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Hello, we've gone.
- 0:51Speaker 5: We've got a ton of different things that that that
- 0:58Speaker 5: that's going on and the Big Game, the Big Game,
- 1:02Speaker 5: you got the Super Bowl? It does anybody want to
- 1:06Speaker 5: take a pick? Want to pick and choose, like who
- 1:09Speaker 5: you want to win? Or do you want to go into.
- 1:12Speaker 6: I want to know because you know this is the
- 1:15Speaker 6: this is a pretty special Sunday coming up and a
- 1:18Speaker 6: lot of people make plans. So I want to know
- 1:20Speaker 6: what you guys are doing for the Super Bowl. Are
- 1:22Speaker 6: you going to like go to a party. Are you
- 1:24Speaker 6: going to throw a party or are you going to
- 1:25Speaker 6: party in your pajamas?
- 1:27Speaker 3: I'm not going to do anything like like the only.
- 1:31Speaker 7: Thing I'm most special snacks?
- 1:33Speaker 3: No, No, nothing special.
- 1:37Speaker 5: If unless I go to my son's house and watch
- 1:40Speaker 5: it with him and my grandson, then that might be special.
- 1:46Speaker 5: But if if not, I'll just be sitting at home
- 1:50Speaker 5: like any other day chilling. You run in the super
- 1:52Speaker 5: Bowl last year?
- 1:53Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, so you actually went last Yeah?
- 1:56Speaker 5: And what But again I say this, I have to
- 2:00Speaker 5: I have to justify this.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I don't really go. I go, but I don't go
- 2:04Speaker 3: to the game. Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 5: The game just isn't like I can't really sit and
- 2:09Speaker 5: watch it, like I can't sit. I guess it's like
- 2:12Speaker 5: more of a like it's almost a reunion for you
- 2:15Speaker 5: because you're seeing everybody, you probably spend more time talking
- 2:18Speaker 5: and talking.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I can see that.
- 2:21Speaker 5: But just to go, I would never go by my
- 2:24Speaker 5: I would never go if I'm going to be just like.
- 2:28Speaker 7: And go, Yeah, which is a conversation.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Later, Well, now I don't even know if we want
- 2:33Speaker 5: to have that later or do we want.
- 2:35Speaker 3: To have it now. I want to know what is
- 2:37Speaker 3: doing when you're going out of town.
- 2:38Speaker 5: So I'll be coming back on that Sunday, so I'll
- 2:40Speaker 5: probably get like, just get some I'll get some sort
- 2:43Speaker 5: of snack football type of food and maybe just watch
- 2:46Speaker 5: the game. I don't think I may go to one
- 2:48Speaker 5: of my frat brother's house if somebody's doing something. But
- 2:50Speaker 5: other than that, and also depending on the weather, I'm
- 2:53Speaker 5: probably just gonna be wrong.
- 2:54Speaker 6: Yeah, this weather's not the greatest. Yeah, we're actually going
- 2:58Speaker 6: to be out of town too, so we'll be traveling
- 3:00Speaker 6: most of the day and then when we get to
- 3:02Speaker 6: our destination, we'll try to catch the game. But I
- 3:05Speaker 6: mean to me highlights the next day, you know, I
- 3:08Speaker 6: mean it's a it's I don't I don't do the
- 3:10Speaker 6: big party thing that people do.
- 3:12Speaker 5: But I like the super I like, you know, the commercials,
- 3:15Speaker 5: seeing like the halftime performances. So like, I'm definitely gonna
- 3:19Speaker 5: like watch it.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I can. I can.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Enjoy the halftime presentation. Concert. I really say concert more
- 3:29Speaker 5: than anything. I kind of like that and it is
- 3:34Speaker 5: worth watching sometimes I can get back to it, you know,
- 3:38Speaker 5: or to watch it.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I watched the.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Halftime because these guys don't like some guys just skip
- 3:43Speaker 6: that part they go get their refreshments and take a bathroom.
- 3:48Speaker 5: If it's somebody that I like or somebody who I'm
- 3:50Speaker 5: curious about, then I might watch it, want to watch it,
- 3:54Speaker 5: and make sure that I get there to watch it.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And if not, and you know, it's it's just that
- 4:02Speaker 3: it's just a blown day. Really.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I watch it just because, like I watch anybody, if
- 4:06Speaker 5: you're performing to the super Bowl halftime, I'm just gonna
- 4:08Speaker 5: watch it, you know what I'm saying, Like, whether I
- 4:10Speaker 5: like you or not, whether it's the music genre that
- 4:13Speaker 5: I'm into, I'm not necessarily into the halftime performer this year.
- 4:17Speaker 3: But I'm gonna watch.
- 4:18Speaker 5: But I'll say that I think that most people are
- 4:23Speaker 5: equally as excited, but it's never really talked about.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Is the national anthem? Who's singing the national anthem? Good point.
- 4:30Speaker 3: That's a good point. You know, it's a good point.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Because that's usually where you get the most attention and
- 4:38Speaker 5: the most credit is when you're singing the national anthem
- 4:41Speaker 5: and you sing it in a way that people can
- 4:45Speaker 5: feel it.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Man, it's never forgotten.
- 4:49Speaker 5: And I think that's that's cool, and I think that's
- 4:51Speaker 5: what I like about the super Bowl because it's like,
- 4:53Speaker 5: I like how they just you know, it is an event,
- 4:55Speaker 5: you know what I mean, all day, all day, So
- 4:58Speaker 5: I like it like that. So it's cool.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Yeah, Well do you want to talk about Let's let's
- 5:03Speaker 6: just dive right into Super Bowl conversation. Let's start with tickets.
- 5:06Speaker 6: You want to talk about that, so go ahead, Well,
- 5:10Speaker 6: Carl had sent me. Did you see it in the
- 5:12Speaker 6: text thread.
- 5:12Speaker 7: I'm sure you did, Hollis, but it is it is.
- 5:17Speaker 7: It ranges.
- 5:18Speaker 6: The prices range from the cheapest ones, which are the
- 5:21Speaker 6: get in tickets you know, basically nothing.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Comes with it.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Those are the nosebleeds.
- 5:25Speaker 6: You can get into the Super Bowl this year for
- 5:28Speaker 6: between four thousand, five hundred to six thousand, five hundred
- 5:31Speaker 6: dollars range. That is just to walk through the gates right.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Then you have the average tickets, which are probably you know,
- 5:38Speaker 6: in between nosebleed in the middle of the pack. That's
- 5:41Speaker 6: around ten thousand, five hundred dollars. Your premium fifty yard
- 5:45Speaker 6: line tickets for the Super Bowl this year run as
- 5:48Speaker 6: much as sixty three thousand dollars. And I'm skipping all
- 5:52Speaker 6: this other stuff. We had bucket list event. You know,
- 5:55Speaker 6: there's different packages I'm sure you can get. But the
- 5:57Speaker 6: one that intrigued me was, you know the luxury suites
- 6:00Speaker 6: where you see the celebrities and your former athletes, and
- 6:03Speaker 6: you know are professional athletes, so that those range to
- 6:06Speaker 6: get into those which are I'm sure are all inclusive
- 6:09Speaker 6: with drinking food. But six hundred thousand dollars to two
- 6:13Speaker 6: million dollars.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Let's discuss that. Let's discuss it. How is this going?
- 6:20Speaker 7: He told me he's wanting to give him the luxury suite.
- 6:22Speaker 3: As as I'm gonna give it to you.
- 6:25Speaker 5: I'm gonna give it to you as a former player,
- 6:27Speaker 5: and then you all can kind of hit it from
- 6:30Speaker 5: your point of view. I am not ever gonna say
- 6:36Speaker 5: that I would even financially attempt to go to that
- 6:42Speaker 5: if it's not free, I'm not going. I'm not and
- 6:47Speaker 5: and and it's.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I mean, you can't tell me that a football game.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Is worthy of that much money just to watch it.
- 6:59Speaker 5: But well, look at it from the other side, because
- 7:02Speaker 5: you've been to Super Bowls and you getting into these
- 7:04Speaker 5: you you have.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Access to these spaces.
- 7:06Speaker 5: So assuming that you weren't a football player, you were
- 7:09Speaker 5: just like some great businessman who had that level of money.
- 7:12Speaker 5: You could pay sixty thousand dollars to go? Would you
- 7:16Speaker 5: would you pay that to go? No?
- 7:21Speaker 3: No, it's a sport.
- 7:22Speaker 5: It's a game, period, And I've had that approach my
- 7:30Speaker 5: entire life. Football is a game. You play it and
- 7:33Speaker 5: you move on to something else. You always have to
- 7:36Speaker 5: move on to something else. It's just the game.
- 7:40Speaker 3: The NFL is still no different than college. It is business, man,
- 7:45Speaker 3: it is a business. But college just too.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Yeah, college has not outpriced their tickets. No, you have it. No,
- 7:52Speaker 7: they're getting bad yet yet it is the key word.
- 7:55Speaker 3: You're right, he is.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Yet it is the key word.
- 7:57Speaker 5: But when you start talking about the prices that you
- 7:59Speaker 5: just riddled off, there's nothing for me to like. I mean,
- 8:10Speaker 5: there's nothing there. I mean I'm not interested in. Like
- 8:12Speaker 5: what am I going forward?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:15Speaker 5: And it's like you know, and the point I was
- 8:17Speaker 5: making to you guys earlier to me, when you look
- 8:19Speaker 5: at professional sports, they have just price gouged us to death.
- 8:25Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, not just in the prices
- 8:27Speaker 5: that you gave far as the super Bowl, but just
- 8:29Speaker 5: on a regular game. If you go to a regular game.
- 8:31Speaker 5: And I was just telling you guys, if I if
- 8:33Speaker 5: it was me and my four daughters. So that's five
- 8:35Speaker 5: people going to like a good a good team. So
- 8:38Speaker 5: we're going to see Pittsburgh, which is a playoff team.
- 8:41Speaker 5: You're gonna spend several hundred dollars on tickets, You're gonna
- 8:45Speaker 5: spend one hundred and fifty dollars on parking. You're gonna
- 8:48Speaker 5: spend a couple hundred dollars on food. You're gonna spend
- 8:51Speaker 5: a couple hundred dollars if you want a T shirt
- 8:52Speaker 5: or something like that. You're talking about thousands of dollars
- 8:56Speaker 5: that over one thousand dollars maybe fifteen hundred dollars that
- 8:59Speaker 5: you're spending going to a game, as you just said,
- 9:02Speaker 5: and then on top of that, to watch the game
- 9:04Speaker 5: at home, you gotta have all these channels. Now, you
- 9:06Speaker 5: gotta have all these subscriptions. And then on top of that,
- 9:10Speaker 5: every other commercial is a freaking gambling thing. So it's
- 9:15Speaker 5: like they just they just want your money from every
- 9:17Speaker 5: single angle.
- 9:19Speaker 3: And at what point does it just like come on
- 9:22Speaker 3: and to that.
- 9:23Speaker 5: And I'm jumping in in front of you there ahead.
- 9:28Speaker 5: I have an issue if the NFL has a and
- 9:32Speaker 5: I don't want to say they have a gambling problem.
- 9:34Speaker 5: But you are anti gambling for players, Why why are
- 9:40Speaker 5: you posting these commercials about gambling? I mean, and it's
- 9:43Speaker 5: every other to every other commercial is it's funny because
- 9:48Speaker 5: you see like like Tom Brady, right, he's in the
- 9:51Speaker 5: commercial like hocking pizza. Tom He's like a vegan, he
- 9:54Speaker 5: eats like bird food and he's like probably one of
- 9:58Speaker 5: the most healthy human beings on earth, and he's just
- 10:00Speaker 5: hawking the pizza. And you have Lebron James hawking gambling
- 10:03Speaker 5: and this guy's hocking beer. And it's just like, man,
- 10:06Speaker 5: I mean again, everybody got to pay their bills. But
- 10:08Speaker 5: at some point, and let me let me ask this
- 10:11Speaker 5: question about to lose any sponsor that we can.
- 10:16Speaker 1: The last.
- 10:18Speaker 7: We hope you enjoyed it.
- 10:21Speaker 5: When you when you see those commercials, do they actually
- 10:25Speaker 5: make you say, oh, you know what, I need to
- 10:28Speaker 5: go gamble?
- 10:29Speaker 3: I think, I think I think something. Wait, I hate
- 10:34Speaker 3: some people. Yes, I think.
- 10:36Speaker 5: If you've seen that commercial enough time, you're like, you
- 10:39Speaker 5: may not like go into debt, but you may let
- 10:42Speaker 5: me try try I think it. And then they hit
- 10:45Speaker 5: you the promotion. They'll give you fifty dollars to start
- 10:47Speaker 5: you mash the fifty.
- 10:49Speaker 3: You may you make that. I don't even like.
- 10:51Speaker 5: It's like that kind of stuff to me, doesn't even calculate,
- 10:56Speaker 5: like I don't like. But you may not have a
- 10:57Speaker 5: propensity for it. I think some people you could get like, yeah, I'll.
- 11:01Speaker 7: Try, Yeah, yeah, I have an issue with it.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Are not necessarily an issue. I wanted to just curious
- 11:06Speaker 3: about it. And some people like I've gone to.
- 11:10Speaker 6: Set it down the app So, I mean, you see
- 11:12Speaker 6: it on TV, then you're like, oh, I can just
- 11:14Speaker 6: slip this on my phone and let's do it.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I'm going to try. I guess with some guys.
- 11:17Speaker 5: And and let's say if I've been to Vegas three
- 11:21Speaker 5: times because my son used to live out there.
- 11:24Speaker 3: So I would go out to see him. We go
- 11:28Speaker 3: to a casino.
- 11:32Speaker 5: I probably in my entire life have spent less than
- 11:36Speaker 5: twenty dollars on gamble period.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah, because I just I just don't I don't get it.
- 11:45Speaker 5: If I if you gave me ten if Hollis, if
- 11:47Speaker 5: you gave me ten dollars, I'm not.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Gonna go and and and risk that ten dollars.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Well, it's extensive now. It used to be when you gambled,
- 11:59Speaker 6: you you had to go to a street corner where
- 12:01Speaker 6: there was you know, some type of shady guy and
- 12:03Speaker 6: you bet on a team to win or lose. They've
- 12:06Speaker 6: got so many different you know, we've talked about this,
- 12:08Speaker 6: those outside bets. You can have prop bets where you
- 12:11Speaker 6: can say, well, I think that you know, the Patriots
- 12:14Speaker 6: will be the first to score within you know, two
- 12:17Speaker 6: minutes of the first quarter, or you know, the coin toss.
- 12:20Speaker 7: Even so, I mean it's stuff that you.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Don't even have to be a sports fan to be
- 12:24Speaker 6: able to bet on different aspects of the Super Bowl.
- 12:28Speaker 5: But isn't that isn't that bad that you've gone out
- 12:30Speaker 5: to reach out.
- 12:31Speaker 7: It is what it is.
- 12:32Speaker 5: That might not even watch the game just to get
- 12:35Speaker 5: them to spend money on something good business. And I
- 12:37Speaker 5: think kids now, like you're, you're inundated with it. So
- 12:41Speaker 5: you've been watching this stuff since you were a little kid.
- 12:43Speaker 5: So it's just part of like kind of what you do.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I know a lot of young men that's what they do,
- 12:47Speaker 5: Like they're in college, they and they they can pay
- 12:51Speaker 5: their bills gambling somehow. So I don't know, it's not
- 12:54Speaker 5: something I get. But like I said, I just don't
- 12:56Speaker 5: like the constant just I have to spend money on
- 12:59Speaker 5: every single thing to enjoy this sport.
- 13:01Speaker 7: Now, yeah, it's of coourse, sad. Yeah, let's get into
- 13:04Speaker 7: the game.
- 13:04Speaker 6: You guys want to talk about the game, then, all right,
- 13:06Speaker 6: So we've got the Patriots and the Seahawks.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Correct, they're playing Sunday at six thirty.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Of course that this whole party, this whole you know,
- 13:14Speaker 6: extravaganza will start way earlier than six thirty. But the Patriots,
- 13:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you guys some background information and then
- 13:21Speaker 6: you guys can can chime in. But uh, the Patriots,
- 13:23Speaker 6: this is their twelfth Super Bowl, that's the most of
- 13:27Speaker 6: any franchise in the NFL. They're looking for their seventh
- 13:31Speaker 6: Super Bowl win and if they you know, get if
- 13:33Speaker 6: they're victorious, they will pass the Steelers for the most
- 13:36Speaker 6: wins all time in Super Bowls. They're also and this
- 13:40Speaker 6: is the part that really gets you because I know
- 13:42Speaker 6: you're a Vikings fan and you hollish you're the Chargers. No,
- 13:47Speaker 6: who are you fans of? The Steelers? Bengals, Niners, Bingles,
- 13:50Speaker 6: Bingles and Niners? Okay that's I couldn't remember. I knew
- 13:52Speaker 6: it was a West Coast team and then of course
- 13:54Speaker 6: you know, I'm pickers. This is the first team.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Fortunately, yeah, I know, right right? Did you catch that?
- 14:00Speaker 3: You can?
- 14:00Speaker 6: Okay, all right whatever, he's interrupting my line of thought.
- 14:05Speaker 6: So this is the first team, the Patriots to make
- 14:08Speaker 6: the super Bowl after losing thirteen or more.
- 14:11Speaker 7: Games this season before? What now?
- 14:14Speaker 6: How is it that they magically rebuilt a team guys
- 14:19Speaker 6: in one season like that.
- 14:21Speaker 5: That's a good question before we start. I don't know
- 14:24Speaker 5: if we talked about it last week.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I wasn't here. Belichick not getting in.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Did we talk about We did not talk about that.
- 14:30Speaker 7: We need to talk about to.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Just really quick while I was just on the Patriots. Like,
- 14:34Speaker 5: to me, this is like the biggest robbery, like in
- 14:38Speaker 5: sports history, Bill Belichick not getting it, not being a
- 14:43Speaker 5: first ballot Hall of Famer, there's nothing to justify that.
- 14:47Speaker 5: And I think it's conclusion and I think it just
- 14:50Speaker 5: really really stains the Hall of Fame to me. To me,
- 14:53Speaker 5: it really almost invalidates the Hall of Fame. It really
- 14:57Speaker 5: puts a bad cloud on it because it's just there's
- 14:59Speaker 5: no way you don't get in and you win. Because
- 15:01Speaker 5: what people got to remember he wins six super Bowl
- 15:04Speaker 5: as a head coach with the Patriots. He also won
- 15:07Speaker 5: two Super Bowls with the with the Giants, being the
- 15:09Speaker 5: de coordinator coaching the greatest defensive player of all time.
- 15:14Speaker 5: But you cannot discount that.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Aren't they saying? A part of it is the deflate
- 15:19Speaker 6: gate about everybody cheated before well, I know, he got caught.
- 15:23Speaker 7: It's kind of like that. It's kind of like with
- 15:25Speaker 7: the Reds.
- 15:26Speaker 8: You know.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Okay, So to your point, Pete.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Rose, I mean it's similar.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Yes, okay, maybe maybe that was one season though it's
- 15:35Speaker 5: in that line.
- 15:38Speaker 3: But say that you got to say that then, so.
- 15:41Speaker 7: What are they saying.
- 15:42Speaker 3: They haven't really said what they said.
- 15:46Speaker 7: I guess that's an insinuations.
- 15:48Speaker 5: But what they said was the scene. They they wanted
- 15:51Speaker 5: to get other senior members in first. I think they
- 15:54Speaker 5: wanted to get like Roger Craig or other people who
- 15:56Speaker 5: were about to because I think you only get a
- 15:58Speaker 5: finite nomination or something that they wanted it basically, But
- 16:01Speaker 5: they said they wanted to get other people in before him.
- 16:04Speaker 5: But my thing is, even if you count the flaygate whatever,
- 16:06Speaker 5: that maybe that's two Super Bowls.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Maybe let's say you still got three, three, four other
- 16:11Speaker 3: Super bowls, you still got. What you did is a system.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Rule the rule who Okay, So okay, so you you
- 16:18Speaker 5: wanted to get these people in.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Right, That's what I mean. That's just what they're saying.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Okay, but here's my argument with that, you can pick
- 16:27Speaker 5: how many other people that you want to go? I
- 16:31Speaker 5: don't think we can do that. I think it's like
- 16:34Speaker 5: they pick a certain number. Again, this is what they're saying.
- 16:36Speaker 5: They pick a certain number of seniors. Who's picking them?
- 16:41Speaker 5: And if somebody is to the end of not being
- 16:46Speaker 5: quote eligible to go because they haven't gone, and it's
- 16:50Speaker 5: the last year that they quote can get in, why
- 16:54Speaker 5: couldn't they put just put them in. Here's my thing,
- 16:57Speaker 5: and I'm a copy something you've said before. I think
- 17:02Speaker 5: from here on out, I want everybody who has a
- 17:06Speaker 5: voting who's a voter, and it ought to be public.
- 17:11Speaker 5: I want to see exactly who you're voting for, and
- 17:14Speaker 5: I want a reason why you're voting for that person
- 17:17Speaker 5: and a reason why you're not voting for this person
- 17:20Speaker 5: because it's it's it's And again, I'm not a Bill Belichick.
- 17:24Speaker 5: I don't think Bill Belichick is the greatest head coach
- 17:27Speaker 5: of all but no, it should be an open process, though.
- 17:32Speaker 6: I mean, but if it is an open process, then
- 17:34Speaker 6: then you're not going to vote. You may feel peer
- 17:37Speaker 6: intimidation from from people vote.
- 17:41Speaker 5: I just want to know who's voting. I don't care
- 17:44Speaker 5: who you want to I want names of who's on
- 17:47Speaker 5: that I want.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I want. I want to know who you voted for.
- 17:50Speaker 3: And again I'll go I'll go that far with I
- 17:53Speaker 3: want to know who you're voted for.
- 17:55Speaker 5: If you if I'm going to vote for Hollis, if
- 18:00Speaker 5: I vote for Hollis for a political reason, right, I
- 18:05Speaker 5: want him to be this guy. If somebody comes up
- 18:08Speaker 5: to me and says, who'd you vote for, I don't
- 18:11Speaker 5: really want to tell you.
- 18:13Speaker 3: But that's different. No, I don't think that's politics.
- 18:17Speaker 5: But I you are voting for the Hall of Fame open,
- 18:23Speaker 5: I agree it should, just you don't.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Think so.
- 18:27Speaker 7: Okay.
- 18:27Speaker 6: I think I did explain to a degree. I feel
- 18:30Speaker 6: like we should probably know the names of the committee members.
- 18:33Speaker 6: I have no problem with that. We need to know
- 18:35Speaker 6: who's on there and who's making these decisions. I think
- 18:37Speaker 6: that's perfectly acceptable. I don't think they should have to
- 18:41Speaker 6: say who they voted for. And here's why because when
- 18:44Speaker 6: they go in to vote, in the back of their mind,
- 18:47Speaker 6: they may you know, feel a certain way toward a
- 18:49Speaker 6: certain player or a certain coach getting in, but also
- 18:53Speaker 6: worry about, you know, your co committee person over here
- 18:57Speaker 6: being upset that you didn't vote the way that he
- 18:59Speaker 6: was voting.
- 19:01Speaker 3: That's not how the voting.
- 19:02Speaker 6: But I know, but you know, they all get together
- 19:04Speaker 6: and they talk and they and they communicate.
- 19:06Speaker 7: They network before they do these votes.
- 19:09Speaker 6: And Margaret and so I feel like, you know, maybe
- 19:11Speaker 6: if they realize they you know, they have to come
- 19:14Speaker 6: out and tell people who they voted for, then it's
- 19:17Speaker 6: going to influence how they vote, and they may not
- 19:21Speaker 6: vote the way they truly feel because they're worried to
- 19:23Speaker 6: how their appears.
- 19:24Speaker 5: But my thing is number one, if you're voting that
- 19:27Speaker 5: you should not vote how you feel. You should vote
- 19:31Speaker 5: what that person. Resume, dictate whoever is the nominee, and
- 19:37Speaker 5: it should be. And the thing is what I don't
- 19:39Speaker 5: like if you're just checking the box, do some research,
- 19:42Speaker 5: figure it out. And like I said, I think it
- 19:44Speaker 5: should be an all open part. I think it should
- 19:46Speaker 5: be a show and where you line everybody and you say.
- 19:52Speaker 7: Are you serious? Yes, And how are you going to
- 19:55Speaker 7: I mean, how are you going to judge?
- 19:56Speaker 5: Like?
- 19:56Speaker 6: They're all accomplished athletes that have been nominated.
- 20:00Speaker 5: But I'm okay if Hollis goes in for me and
- 20:02Speaker 5: I realized. Now, let's just say, if I realize Hollis
- 20:07Speaker 5: Hollis's stats are better than mine and they pick him,
- 20:12Speaker 5: who am I to be mad? If they don't pick
- 20:14Speaker 5: a corner? How am I going to be mad? And
- 20:16Speaker 5: the thing is, you're right, Lisa in that they're all
- 20:19Speaker 5: accomplished athletes and they're all Hall of Fame worthy. But
- 20:22Speaker 5: I think there's two distinct classes that some people are
- 20:26Speaker 5: going to be first ballot, other people's second ballance. Other
- 20:29Speaker 5: people are going to have to wait. And I think,
- 20:31Speaker 5: and to me, that's the honor because what people will
- 20:34Speaker 5: say it was like all Bill, BILLI Chase's gonna get
- 20:35Speaker 5: in anyway.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Dug he's getting in. That ain't the job.
- 20:40Speaker 5: But that's not the honor for him. The honor is
- 20:42Speaker 5: to say I'm a first ballot. That's that's the honor
- 20:46Speaker 5: for him. And the fact of the matter is that
- 20:48Speaker 5: when you have eight Super Bowl as a coach at
- 20:53Speaker 5: various from a coordinator to a head coach.
- 20:56Speaker 3: You cannot tell me that's not first.
- 20:58Speaker 5: You're coaching teams that are consider the best of all.
- 21:01Speaker 7: Time, all time.
- 21:03Speaker 5: You think about this, think think about what Bill Belichick
- 21:05Speaker 5: did here here, and here's here's why he's the first
- 21:08Speaker 5: ballot Hall of Fame.
- 21:11Speaker 6: Okay, but here's my argument. Maybe any coach that had
- 21:14Speaker 6: Tom Brady on their Super Bowls.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Okay, but here's the argument though, here's the argument.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Bill Belichick coached the greatest quarterback of all time, and
- 21:25Speaker 5: he coached the greatest defensive player of all time. There's
- 21:28Speaker 5: one commonality in that, and it's Bill Belichick. He coached
- 21:31Speaker 5: the greatest quarterback of all time, and he coached the
- 21:34Speaker 5: greatest the defensive player of all time.
- 21:37Speaker 3: And Bill Chick, Bill Belichick coach. You might as well
- 21:39Speaker 3: name that. You might as well name the player. Lawn
- 21:42Speaker 3: Taylor and Tom Brady all connected.
- 21:46Speaker 5: To Bill Belichick. You cannot have it no other way.
- 21:49Speaker 5: He's a Hall of Famer, first ballot, And this is
- 21:51Speaker 5: a total injustice.
- 21:52Speaker 3: And back then, he was a defensive guy.
- 21:55Speaker 5: And he was a defensive guy, and he's always been
- 21:57Speaker 5: he's always been a defensive guy. And and and again
- 22:00Speaker 5: you get l t and and and and and again.
- 22:06Speaker 5: The systems that he creates for these individuals must be
- 22:11Speaker 5: really I don't about it. And you and you look
- 22:15Speaker 5: at Randy Moss. Randy Moss had his greatest years with
- 22:17Speaker 5: who the Patriots? We can move on?
- 22:19Speaker 6: Come on, no, no, no, no, I mean we got to
- 22:23Speaker 6: get to the c bar.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Great arguments.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Okay, So that was Patriots conversation with their their ex there.
- 22:31Speaker 3: No, no was the question the question here.
- 22:38Speaker 6: I was just making the point that it's amazing to
- 22:40Speaker 6: me that you know, you have all these teams in
- 22:42Speaker 6: the NFL that have you know, rebuilds you have if
- 22:46Speaker 6: you have a season, you know that you're losing thirteen
- 22:50Speaker 6: or more games, and then the next season you're going
- 22:52Speaker 6: to the super Bowl.
- 22:53Speaker 7: What are you doing that? Everybody else needs to.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Coaching the quarterback. I think Drake May has come along,
- 22:59Speaker 5: and you got Mike Babel, who was a you know,
- 23:01Speaker 5: foreign Patriots coaching from Tennessee to the Patriots. It's coaching
- 23:05Speaker 5: the quarterback. You I'm telling you, this is this is
- 23:07Speaker 5: a league. To me, we're coaching really really matters. You
- 23:11Speaker 5: got to have the coach. If you got the right coach,
- 23:14Speaker 5: you got the right quarterback. You can have this. I'm gonna,
- 23:19Speaker 5: I'm gonna, I'm gonna, Yeah, that's a good point. I'm gonna,
- 23:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna good point. I'm gonna agree with you in part.
- 23:28Speaker 5: I think when you start talking about the coach, the
- 23:31Speaker 5: coach has to understand and know what is his what
- 23:37Speaker 5: is where is he gonna get to that Super Bowl?
- 23:39Speaker 3: At? Is it offense? Is a defense? Is it my quarterback?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Is it my linebackers? Is it my d line?
- 23:46Speaker 5: And I think when you figure out what is going
- 23:49Speaker 5: to be your way there, you lean on that. You
- 23:53Speaker 5: got Tom Brady, you can lean on that. You get
- 23:55Speaker 5: Tom Brady, he's old, and you got a good defense.
- 23:58Speaker 3: What are you gonna do?
- 23:58Speaker 5: You're gonna lean on that defense? And I think he
- 24:01Speaker 5: understood everywhere he was in every team that he coached,
- 24:08Speaker 5: what was his what's the benefit? What is going to
- 24:11Speaker 5: be the thing that's going to make us great? It's
- 24:14Speaker 5: going to be Tom Brady, It's going to be our defense.
- 24:18Speaker 6: And to me, I think, and they have great owners,
- 24:20Speaker 6: right the craft Cram I think they.
- 24:22Speaker 9: I wanted to jump in here for a second because
- 24:24Speaker 9: you just said what I was about, toe the whole
- 24:26Speaker 9: bow on this. How come the Cowboys haven't been in
- 24:29Speaker 9: the Super Bowl in a while. It's because of Jerry Jones.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Why have the Patriots been so good? It's because of
- 24:34Speaker 9: Robert Kraft. Yes, he is the one had something to
- 24:37Speaker 9: do with the Bill Belichick era. And here again it's
- 24:40Speaker 9: the owner. He knows what he's doing.
- 24:42Speaker 7: Yeah, good point.
- 24:43Speaker 5: And I think at Lisa, to your point, I think
- 24:45Speaker 5: they got lucky this year far as the Patriots because
- 24:48Speaker 5: Patrick Mahon had a down year, Lamar Jackson had a
- 24:51Speaker 5: down year, Joe Burrows Cincinnati, they're just never going to
- 24:55Speaker 5: get it together again. And then you know, the Bills
- 24:58Speaker 5: went out early. So the top quarterbacks in the league
- 25:01Speaker 5: are all in the AFC and they all had down You.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Their division is pretty it's always been a little easier
- 25:07Speaker 6: than most.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, I mean they got they ran into
- 25:09Speaker 3: some luck. Yeah, who got next?
- 25:12Speaker 9: Oh?
- 25:12Speaker 7: Okay.
- 25:13Speaker 6: And of course the other flip side of it is
- 25:15Speaker 6: the Seahawks and this is the last time they attended
- 25:18Speaker 6: the Super Bowl twenty fifteen. Uh and this is their
- 25:22Speaker 6: fourth one, so you know, I mean that's considering what
- 25:26Speaker 6: they were brought in the league as an expansion team
- 25:28Speaker 6: in seventy six.
- 25:29Speaker 5: I need more handclaps, red hand, red handed, king peny
- 25:35Speaker 5: and they they were doing. He is pushing, he's pushing
- 25:42Speaker 5: the limit to fire Vikings. You don't get rid of
- 25:45Speaker 5: a fourteen win quarterback, yeah, point blank. And the GM
- 25:48Speaker 5: is now what out of that? See? The GM for
- 25:52Speaker 5: the Vikings is golf. Yeah, you got rid of a
- 25:56Speaker 5: fourteen win quarterback.
- 25:57Speaker 3: You don't know.
- 25:59Speaker 5: Redhead had his best game in the AFC champion excuse me,
- 26:03Speaker 5: NFC Championship of his career.
- 26:05Speaker 7: Oh that's yep.
- 26:06Speaker 3: And and this is not defense.
- 26:08Speaker 6: He's been with five different teams in the NFL. Have
- 26:12Speaker 6: we pointed that out before?
- 26:14Speaker 5: You just pointed it out. And here's the thing again.
- 26:18Speaker 5: When you get a player and you look at him,
- 26:22Speaker 5: let's just say we're going to talk since a talk quarterback.
- 26:25Speaker 5: You're looking at that quarterback. You either got a system
- 26:29Speaker 5: that you think you're going to put him in and
- 26:31Speaker 5: you hope that he's going to excel in, or you're
- 26:34Speaker 5: going to look at this quarterback and figure out what
- 26:36Speaker 5: he's got, where's his benefits, and you're going to create
- 26:40Speaker 5: the system around him. Most coaches wanted, I just want
- 26:45Speaker 5: to put Hollis in this kind of a system. How
- 26:48Speaker 5: do I know he's okay in that system, you know.
- 26:50Speaker 5: And I think I think when these coaches pay more
- 26:53Speaker 5: attention and I think they go out now starting to
- 26:56Speaker 5: look for quarterbacks, to bring quarterbacks in and create a
- 27:01Speaker 5: situation for them that what they do is what we're
- 27:04Speaker 5: going to do. And I think to your point that
- 27:07Speaker 5: you just made earlier, when you're looking at the totality
- 27:11Speaker 5: of your team, you may have a strong defense, you
- 27:14Speaker 5: may have strong running backs, you may have strong offensive
- 27:17Speaker 5: line or special teams. And I think now the thing
- 27:20Speaker 5: about it is you do not need necessarily the Patrick Mahomes.
- 27:24Speaker 5: You don't need the maybe the all world quarterbacks is
- 27:27Speaker 5: going to do all things. I think there is spacing
- 27:29Speaker 5: the game because I think we got spoiled with Tom
- 27:31Speaker 5: Brady and Patrick Mahomes, we got spoiled with Lamar Jackson.
- 27:34Speaker 5: They're spacing this game still for a quote unquote quarterback manager.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Somebody who's going to not turn the ball over, who's
- 27:40Speaker 5: going to progress the ball down the field, not make
- 27:42Speaker 5: the major mistake, may not always make the big huge play,
- 27:46Speaker 5: but can just be steady Freddy On.
- 27:49Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Throughout the season, when you
- 27:51Speaker 3: build properly around him.
- 27:53Speaker 5: And I think that's what a guy like Sam Darnold
- 27:55Speaker 5: is and I think it's going to be room for
- 27:57Speaker 5: a lot more quarterbacks like that, because as we've seen
- 27:59Speaker 5: it in the NFL again, there's just not a lot
- 28:02Speaker 5: of great quarterbacks and then and every season you're not
- 28:05Speaker 5: necessarily going to have good quarterback play. So you need
- 28:08Speaker 5: somebody who is consistent. And when you're able to build
- 28:11Speaker 5: an organization in the squad around that consistency, you can
- 28:15Speaker 5: go to the super Bowl. Well, and to you, we
- 28:19Speaker 5: had we had a guest on the show who was
- 28:23Speaker 5: a really really good quarterback and had a great, unbelievable defense. Yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 5: and went and went and went. He had a great
- 28:32Speaker 5: running back, had a great running back forget that. So
- 28:35Speaker 5: he didn't have to be the guy to win the game.
- 28:40Speaker 5: He managed all those guys around that he needed. And
- 28:44Speaker 5: that doesn't take anything from his adility. And I think
- 28:47Speaker 5: I hate when people take it away like it take
- 28:49Speaker 5: a lot to not mess it up. Sometimes, Yes, and
- 28:53Speaker 5: his and at the quarterback position, you are a quote,
- 28:57Speaker 5: everybody's looking at you to be the leader. So now
- 29:00Speaker 5: how do I lead you as a as a running
- 29:02Speaker 5: as a great running back that everybody knows. How do
- 29:05Speaker 5: I get how do you get comfortable with me? You
- 29:09Speaker 5: got to manage that those relationships so that they not
- 29:13Speaker 5: looking at you like, oh, he thinks he's the he
- 29:16Speaker 5: the king of this. And now all of a sudden,
- 29:18Speaker 5: you get a little funny because you're thinking, well, wait
- 29:20Speaker 5: a minute, I'm I'm I'm Walter Payton. You know, you know,
- 29:24Speaker 5: and when you don't have that and everybody's just doing
- 29:28Speaker 5: their best, that quarterback that can live in that space. Man,
- 29:34Speaker 5: Now you now you're talking about you're talking about a
- 29:37Speaker 5: Super Bowl contending.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Hey, we well speaking of the quarterbacks. Now let's go
- 29:42Speaker 6: to the flip. So let's go to the defense for
- 29:43Speaker 6: both both both teams. You you were asking or you
- 29:46Speaker 6: kind of threw it out there in our text right
- 29:48Speaker 6: about can defense win championships?
- 29:51Speaker 7: What's your what's your opinions? I'm do you think that's
- 29:54Speaker 7: the reason these two teams are there or not? Because
- 29:56Speaker 7: I've got some stats here if you want one, you're ready.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I really don't I think that they're there. I think
- 30:01Speaker 3: the game has changed a little bit.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I think I think it's you need you need a
- 30:07Speaker 5: consistent defense. But I think you need a great quarterback.
- 30:10Speaker 5: I think if you've got a great quarterback, he's going
- 30:13Speaker 5: to help you from the defensive side of defense win
- 30:18Speaker 5: a game.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I'm not saying they can't. I think defense wins championship.
- 30:23Speaker 3: And I've heard that a long time. But here's the thing.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I think it looks different.
- 30:27Speaker 5: So now you don't have to have a Chicago Bears
- 30:29Speaker 5: defense where I'm essentially not not letting anybody score throughout
- 30:33Speaker 5: the season. What happens now is that it's almost like
- 30:36Speaker 5: a Ben break Ben, but don't break theory. And what
- 30:39Speaker 5: I think, what I think is what I think is
- 30:42Speaker 5: the mark of a good defense. They have timely turnovers,
- 30:45Speaker 5: so defense a good defense. Now they're going to turn
- 30:47Speaker 5: you over. So whether it's a they hit you the
- 30:50Speaker 5: punch and make you fumble, whether they get an interception,
- 30:52Speaker 5: whether they make a key stop to make you get
- 30:55Speaker 5: a turnover, and downs because a lot of teams go
- 30:57Speaker 5: for it on fourth down here. So that's the mark
- 30:59Speaker 5: of a good defense to me. And I think, to me,
- 31:02Speaker 5: far as this game was concerned, and Seattle hits too,
- 31:04Speaker 5: and now you got to hit, yeah, and Seattle hit.
- 31:06Speaker 5: So I think whoever can get one or two turnovers
- 31:10Speaker 5: and maybe a timely turnover on downs.
- 31:12Speaker 3: That's who go in the game.
- 31:13Speaker 6: See, that's kind of how it was going to enter
- 31:16Speaker 6: into this conversation, guys. Is because there's so much talk
- 31:19Speaker 6: about the quarterbacks, don't you kind of forget about what
- 31:23Speaker 6: kind of defense the Seahawks and the Patriots put out
- 31:26Speaker 6: on the field this past season. Real quick, I'm going
- 31:29Speaker 6: to go through these rankings in the league for Seattle
- 31:32Speaker 6: and New England throughout the season. During the regular season games,
- 31:36Speaker 6: Seattle was for scoring defense, Seattle was first, New England fifth,
- 31:42Speaker 6: total defense, Seahawks sixth, New England eighth. Rushing defense Seattle
- 31:48Speaker 6: was third in the league, New England seventh. Passing defense,
- 31:52Speaker 6: Seattle was tenth New England's ninth. Sacks Seattle had forty
- 31:56Speaker 6: seven total, with New England having thirty five takeaways Seattle
- 32:00Speaker 6: twenty five, New England nineteen.
- 32:02Speaker 7: Those numbers are pretty tight.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Crazy, that's top ten and everything.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Yeah, And the thing is you got middle of the road, Like,
- 32:08Speaker 5: none of these quarterbacks, they aren't great quarterbacks, but you've
- 32:12Speaker 5: seen that defense, right, And I'm telling you, man, that's
- 32:14Speaker 5: that'll get you. But because I think some like people
- 32:17Speaker 5: look at like the score, like the scores are up,
- 32:19Speaker 5: and obviously you know across the league, you're gonna score
- 32:22Speaker 5: more points just because you throw the ball more. But
- 32:24Speaker 5: I'm telling you man them timely turnovers that that hit stick.
- 32:28Speaker 6: So could it be a low scoring game with two
- 32:31Speaker 6: quarterbacks that are I mean not average, they're above average.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Both quarterbacks are good, but they're not the typical Patrick
- 32:37Speaker 6: Mahomes Tom Brady were used to seeing in the.
- 32:40Speaker 3: No, man, it's gonna be that. That's a big question.
- 32:43Speaker 3: That's a good question. I'm gonna I'm gonna say that.
- 32:51Speaker 5: I think those that that answer is gonna have to
- 32:54Speaker 5: be one of those like, Okay, if I'm if I'm
- 32:57Speaker 5: the team, if I coming in and I'm I'm gonna
- 32:59Speaker 5: try to run the ball, which is like most teams
- 33:00Speaker 5: will typically do. You'll try to run the ball to
- 33:03Speaker 5: start the game out. See how how that's gonna work.
- 33:06Speaker 5: You look at that and you say, Okay, that's not
- 33:07Speaker 5: really working.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Let's go to some quick, quick game.
- 33:10Speaker 5: Throw the ball quick and get it, you know, get
- 33:12Speaker 5: it to a receiver, get it first down, keep the
- 33:15Speaker 5: ball moving, and then you find out what and where
- 33:19Speaker 5: you can move the ball, keep the ball score touchdowns,
- 33:24Speaker 5: and I think it's gonna be in the game. I
- 33:26Speaker 5: think what they do, how they do it, I think
- 33:29Speaker 5: it's gonna it's gonna matter once they get out on
- 33:32Speaker 5: the field. But that makes sense because if you if
- 33:35Speaker 5: you first series three downs and out, Okay, we're gonna
- 33:40Speaker 5: come back next next series, maybe you get five players
- 33:45Speaker 5: and out, you're gonna and you're not really throwing the
- 33:48Speaker 5: ball that much. At some point you're gonna have to
- 33:50Speaker 5: start throwing the ball, whether that's slants, hitches, any of
- 33:55Speaker 5: those kind of things that are quote similar to running
- 33:58Speaker 5: the BALLFSE.
- 33:59Speaker 3: So I'm.
- 34:01Speaker 5: Just going to dictate how this game is going to
- 34:04Speaker 5: be played. And also I would I would also mention
- 34:06Speaker 5: special teams. I think that you know you're gonna have
- 34:09Speaker 5: to obviously, because the defense are so stout, you're gonna
- 34:13Speaker 5: have to score on some field goals. And I also
- 34:16Speaker 5: say this, man, this is the part of the game
- 34:17Speaker 5: that everybody leaves out, the punny, the punning. As far
- 34:20Speaker 5: as if it is a low scoring game, similar to
- 34:23Speaker 5: what happened in the College Football Championship, where you have
- 34:25Speaker 5: that field position battle. So if you know, if you
- 34:28Speaker 5: got a couple of good punts, that can land them
- 34:30Speaker 5: inside the twenty to ten yard line and they punt
- 34:33Speaker 5: it back out and you leave the other team with
- 34:34Speaker 5: good field position. Those things can be easy and quick
- 34:37Speaker 5: scores for the opposing team.
- 34:39Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm with you on.
- 34:40Speaker 5: That's the punters, the punter in the field goal because
- 34:43Speaker 5: the kickoff how they do it now it's not really
- 34:46Speaker 5: but the punter and the field goal kicker, those are
- 34:48Speaker 5: two vital.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Important, you know, positions on special teams.
- 34:51Speaker 5: And I agree and I and I think I think
- 34:56Speaker 5: you're going to have to have an impact in in
- 35:00Speaker 5: that like you can't. You got to take advantage of
- 35:04Speaker 5: the kick. You know, if it's a punt and it's
- 35:07Speaker 5: and you got a chance to return it, you need to.
- 35:10Speaker 5: You know, that's something that you need to make sure
- 35:11Speaker 5: that you're getting field position because field position is going
- 35:15Speaker 5: to be key because I'm not sure if we're gonna
- 35:17Speaker 5: get a whole bunch.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Of like twenty minute drive.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I don't think either one of these
- 35:25Speaker 5: teams are that type of team. And also where the
- 35:28Speaker 5: game is being played at I think could be a
- 35:30Speaker 5: factor too, because it's in Northern California, so essentially this
- 35:34Speaker 5: is a home game. For the Seattle Seahawks. Essentially, it's
- 35:37Speaker 5: a northern California to be whether that's going to be
- 35:42Speaker 5: similar to what the Sea the Hawks deal with on
- 35:44Speaker 5: a daily basis, So I think that can be a
- 35:47Speaker 5: predictive time zone and different things of that nature. Well,
- 35:50Speaker 5: I one of the one of the things that they'll do,
- 35:52Speaker 5: they'll get out early enough to make sure.
- 35:56Speaker 3: They can get.
- 35:59Speaker 8: That.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I think.
- 36:01Speaker 5: So that's what I saw because because they want to
- 36:05Speaker 5: make sure they can get there. Get no, no, no,
- 36:06Speaker 5: What I'm asking is like it's two weeks ago, maybe
- 36:10Speaker 5: a week ago, Like why don't we come today?
- 36:12Speaker 7: I don't know. I mean, that's just what I saw
- 36:14Speaker 7: on ESPN. I'm almost certain that I saw.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Did you see the same? Yeah, I got a whole week.
- 36:19Speaker 6: So maybe they were somewhere else for a while and
- 36:21Speaker 6: they kind of get out of the limelight because you know,
- 36:24Speaker 6: that's going to be a lot of a lot.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Of you you can get acclimenting. Yeah yeah, all.
- 36:31Speaker 6: Right, Well let's talk about the real reason we all
- 36:33Speaker 6: watched the Super Bowl. We touched on it a minute ago,
- 36:36Speaker 6: but let's let's dig a little deeper into the halftime show. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 36:40Speaker 6: Well we know it's bad Bunny, right, And the reason
- 36:43Speaker 6: I wanted to kind of bring up the halftime show
- 36:46Speaker 6: of the Super Bowl. It seems like, guys, every year
- 36:50Speaker 6: the NFL has a knack and and and probably a
- 36:53Speaker 6: purpose I don't know, but they always seem to pick
- 36:55Speaker 6: controversial acts or singers.
- 36:59Speaker 7: Or somebody would have creat something something. Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 6: Yeah, So it seems like there's always this uh and
- 37:04Speaker 6: maybe they do it on purpose to get people to
- 37:06Speaker 6: talk about the game and talk about the you know,
- 37:08Speaker 6: the the chatter, get the interest of the people that
- 37:11Speaker 6: aren't typical football fans. I don't know, But this year
- 37:14Speaker 6: it's it's Puerto Rican superstar Brad Bunny.
- 37:16Speaker 7: It's the headliner. I'm sure you guys have heard that.
- 37:19Speaker 6: You know, he's he's pretty outspoken with some political issues.
- 37:23Speaker 7: I'm not going to get into detail about it, right right,
- 37:29Speaker 7: I'm not.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Going to get into it, but but just the fact
- 37:31Speaker 6: that there are some political groups out there that I
- 37:33Speaker 6: won't name either, that are they're going to provide an
- 37:36Speaker 6: alternative halftime show with their own acts and their own whatever. So,
- 37:43Speaker 6: so what's your opinion, Like it seems like every year
- 37:46Speaker 6: we're dealing with something in the in the Super Bowl
- 37:48Speaker 6: halftime show. Do you think it's something that that they
- 37:50Speaker 6: do purposely or do you think it's just a combination
- 37:54Speaker 6: of the society we're in hew and and.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Let me, let me get let me I'm gonna answer
- 38:00Speaker 5: this first because because I could be crazy wrong.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I think they want.
- 38:07Speaker 5: As much controversial people for the show, yep, to draw
- 38:13Speaker 5: attention to it. Yep, with the thought of it's going
- 38:19Speaker 5: to bring those people to watch the game.
- 38:24Speaker 7: Not typically wouldn't.
- 38:25Speaker 3: That that may not that that may not watch it.
- 38:28Speaker 5: They're gonna watch it one I'm gonna I want to
- 38:31Speaker 5: watch it and see how bad he or she's gonna be.
- 38:34Speaker 5: Or I'm gonna watch it to see how good he
- 38:37Speaker 5: or she's gonna be. And I think that's gonna get
- 38:42Speaker 5: The idea is to get people to watch the game,
- 38:46Speaker 5: to bring you to the game. I think the halftime
- 38:50Speaker 5: is so far away from the game.
- 38:53Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 38:56Speaker 5: I think it's traditional. It's all of that, it's all commercials,
- 39:00Speaker 5: it's all of that. I'm not I don't mean it
- 39:02Speaker 5: in a in a in a bad way, but their
- 39:05Speaker 5: their point of reference is to get you to the
- 39:09Speaker 5: halftime show.
- 39:11Speaker 6: Yeah, to watch it because most people the second half,
- 39:13Speaker 6: especially if it's a blowout.
- 39:15Speaker 7: If it's not a close game, a lot of people
- 39:17Speaker 7: go to bed.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Yes, they got it, I think.
- 39:19Speaker 5: But but I also say, like I think non traditional
- 39:21Speaker 5: football game excuse me, non traditional football fans.
- 39:24Speaker 3: They're there for that.
- 39:25Speaker 5: So if you're not really in the football, you're you're
- 39:28Speaker 5: gonna watch the game because everybody else watching it. But
- 39:30Speaker 5: your thing while you're there, your thing is the commercials
- 39:33Speaker 5: and the so I think it's all.
- 39:34Speaker 3: You know, starting again.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Yeah, if you get somebody too to perform at halftime
- 39:42Speaker 5: that has some controversy that I might.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Not have heard, I'm probably gonna.
- 39:47Speaker 5: I'm probably going to watch that, just just just because
- 39:51Speaker 5: because the advertisement of it and how many times have
- 39:55Speaker 5: you heard his name? Well, I'll say this like, I'm
- 39:59Speaker 5: not particularly interested in watching Bad Money. I have no
- 40:02Speaker 5: interest in his music obviously from where I sit politically, uh,
- 40:07Speaker 5: you know, probably more in line with my personal views. However,
- 40:12Speaker 5: even with that being said, I think at sometimes it
- 40:16Speaker 5: can like wear you down where maybe I just want
- 40:19Speaker 5: to be in it. I just want the best artists
- 40:21Speaker 5: possible just to sing happy songs.
- 40:24Speaker 4: You know.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Again, again, it's always good when people use their platform
- 40:28Speaker 5: and always you know, I supported, but sometimes you just
- 40:32Speaker 5: kind of like I just want an escape from that.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah, those three or four hours, I'm with you.
- 40:38Speaker 7: So you know, So what was your favorite halftime show?
- 40:42Speaker 5: I like Beyonce. I like Beyonce and Bruno Mars. I
- 40:46Speaker 5: remember that one. Michael Jackson. Prince was good. I remember
- 40:53Speaker 5: that one. I mean it was kind of you know,
- 40:55Speaker 5: he did the Prince thing. But we won't well you gotta,
- 41:02Speaker 5: we won't put that on.
- 41:03Speaker 8: There you go, I mean the.
- 41:17Speaker 7: Watch you don't remember the imagery it rains rain but.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Field no, no, no, no, I'm not talking about the rain.
- 41:28Speaker 5: Okay, so no, no, we won't say it on radio
- 41:32Speaker 5: because we probably can't say that.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Go back and watch it now with the different eyes.
- 41:37Speaker 6: But the Florida A and N Marching band, the whole
- 41:40Speaker 6: all it was.
- 41:41Speaker 7: That was my favorite one obviously, but my clip.
- 41:45Speaker 3: I like that too. So let me be clear about Prince.
- 41:48Speaker 3: I know I love Prince. I know you do. I mean,
- 41:50Speaker 3: I mean you.
- 41:53Speaker 5: No matter what, wherever and however he performs, is so him.
- 41:59Speaker 3: That That's why I said he did his Prince thing.
- 42:01Speaker 7: Yeah he did, sure did his Prince.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Fabulous.
- 42:06Speaker 7: I was there for every every minute of it.
- 42:08Speaker 5: That's that's a hard that's a hard sale to make
- 42:11Speaker 5: that not one of it. And I was as you
- 42:15Speaker 5: name him. I mean, there's a ton of grain. And
- 42:18Speaker 5: then the Whitney Houston. Yeah, it wasn't a halftime, but
- 42:21Speaker 5: it was like the greatest Yes.
- 42:22Speaker 7: National, which goes back to what you were remember like.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Getting chills as a kid watching that. So that was
- 42:29Speaker 3: just like it was amazing, And isn't it amazing that
- 42:32Speaker 3: you wait?
- 42:34Speaker 5: You have to wait till the Super Bowl too to
- 42:40Speaker 5: love the halftime or wonder or question who's singing the
- 42:45Speaker 5: national anthem?
- 42:45Speaker 3: Because it matters like it matters because it's because they don't.
- 42:50Speaker 7: They don't put that out there early, do they.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Just I don't know if I know they put the halftime,
- 42:54Speaker 3: so I don't anthem.
- 42:56Speaker 7: I don't ever remember that.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 42:59Speaker 7: They just kind of it.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Up, show up, may do we know who's singing?
- 43:03Speaker 9: How come you are giving any love to doctor dre
- 43:05Speaker 9: and snooped?
- 43:06Speaker 8: Well that.
- 43:09Speaker 6: That was my second favorite, but Prince was my whole
- 43:11Speaker 6: time favorite ship by far.
- 43:13Speaker 3: I can't. I don't that that didn't do anything for me. Charlie,
- 43:17Speaker 3: it's gonna be Charlie Proof that ship.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Okay, Charlie, but they just don't advertise it as much
- 43:21Speaker 6: as they do.
- 43:23Speaker 9: He's uh, just pop singers. Okay, so he's been popular
- 43:27Speaker 9: probably I don't know about ten years or so. You've
- 43:29Speaker 9: probably heard him and just don't realize.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Hmmm, because I'll go, I'll go, and I'll go and
- 43:35Speaker 5: look him up and see. Because man, I think you know,
- 43:39Speaker 5: to be honest, and we can say this, I think
- 43:41Speaker 5: we all will agree. It's hard to be bad in
- 43:46Speaker 5: any one of those, whether it's half time.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Or the national anthem. I mean it's it's.
- 43:52Speaker 5: I think the only way you can be bad like
- 43:55Speaker 5: far is not necessarily national anthem because they they generally
- 43:58Speaker 5: nail that. But but it's uh, if you have like
- 44:02Speaker 5: mic issues like yeah, I've seen situations.
- 44:05Speaker 7: You can't really sound. Yeah, but as far.
- 44:09Speaker 5: As the as far as the artist, yeah, you're getting
- 44:12Speaker 5: top tier, you know, yeah, you're gett you're getting top tier.
- 44:15Speaker 5: And Rihanna did a good one too. Rihanna do not.
- 44:20Speaker 7: But she no, she did have time.
- 44:22Speaker 6: She didn't have to eagle yeah about three years.
- 44:27Speaker 7: Yeah, and I don't think.
- 44:33Speaker 5: I don't think like any of those kind of performances
- 44:36Speaker 5: can be bad because the performer knows that this is
- 44:41Speaker 5: as big as stage as you're probably gonna get, and
- 44:46Speaker 5: you're going to try to do You're gonna do your best.
- 44:48Speaker 3: And and then I.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Think people are more receptive anyway to hear because some
- 44:53Speaker 5: people may not even like the genre of it, and
- 44:56Speaker 5: here for the first time to be like, oh.
- 44:58Speaker 6: That kind of slants whether you like the halftime show
- 45:00Speaker 6: to what kind of genre you prefer music, you know,
- 45:03Speaker 6: if it's country or if it's.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I just don't know. Yeah, I don't know a
- 45:09Speaker 7: lot about it.
- 45:10Speaker 3: He's not he won't be going to watch.
- 45:12Speaker 7: It, and you know, but I don't know. I just
- 45:14Speaker 7: don't know a lot of his music.
- 45:15Speaker 5: I just think that sometimes it's just because of where
- 45:19Speaker 5: it is and what it's about.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I think sometimes it can it can just you can
- 45:24Speaker 3: like it. You know, you might not love it, but
- 45:27Speaker 3: you can like it. You may not go and get something.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Yeah, And as long as you give me something that's
- 45:32Speaker 5: respectable and not crazy and way off the charts, I.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Just want to show.
- 45:37Speaker 5: I want to performance, Like, don't just sit there and
- 45:40Speaker 5: do some average like give me like a stage, give
- 45:44Speaker 5: me the elaborate like, if you're gonna do the super
- 45:46Speaker 5: Bowl halftime, make it an event. I want all even
- 45:50Speaker 5: if I don't like it. So have fireworks and doves and.
- 45:54Speaker 3: So are you so tigers in line.
- 45:56Speaker 5: So if I'm out there, if I'm there and I'm
- 46:03Speaker 5: just standing at the mic singing and my voice is good,
- 46:07Speaker 5: you ain't good with me. Time I can listen to
- 46:11Speaker 5: you album, I want to if I want to shove,
- 46:14Speaker 5: I want you to be flying in the sky, drop
- 46:16Speaker 5: down from the helicopter.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Pat come on, give me a show.
- 46:22Speaker 5: Because to your point, even if I don't like the genre,
- 46:25Speaker 5: I may like the show. You got to give me
- 46:28Speaker 5: a show.
- 46:29Speaker 3: And and and again. For any artist, you should know,
- 46:33Speaker 3: you should know.
- 46:34Speaker 5: I would like to think that you would know that
- 46:37Speaker 5: if you were picked for a halftime show, that there
- 46:41Speaker 5: is a performance part to that is not just singing.
- 46:47Speaker 3: You gotta perform to come with you. Got to come
- 46:50Speaker 3: with it.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Because the show was awesome and it's almost like you
- 46:59Speaker 5: get the concert feel to it.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Got to get a concert.
- 47:02Speaker 6: So I was just looking through our text thread and
- 47:05Speaker 6: we had some picks on here. I think Carl put
- 47:08Speaker 6: out there is that right, Carl? I think you put
- 47:11Speaker 6: that you thought, and I want to see if Polus
- 47:13Speaker 6: agrees with it. Seattle Seahawks. No, no, no, no, you didn't
- 47:17Speaker 6: pick anybody yet, didit.
- 47:18Speaker 7: Those were the.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I'm going to take. But I am going to take
- 47:21Speaker 3: the Seahawks.
- 47:22Speaker 7: You are going to take the Seahawks.
- 47:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the Seahawks too. Okay, Yeah, I think the.
- 47:27Speaker 7: Well, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna keep right.
- 47:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna keep sailing with this ship because I've said
- 47:32Speaker 6: all along, I really feel like the Seahawks will win
- 47:34Speaker 6: it all when the playoffs started, So, I mean, I
- 47:36Speaker 6: think we're all in agreement on that one.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Yeah. I just think, like I said, I think.
- 47:40Speaker 7: And I think it might be a blowout.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I don't. I don't know about that. I don't.
- 47:44Speaker 5: I think that's a hard thing to get when you
- 47:47Speaker 5: when you're talking super Bowl, you don't get a lot
- 47:50Speaker 5: of super Bowl Yeah, because everybody the thing is man like.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I don't.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Again, from from college all the way to the NFL,
- 47:59Speaker 5: these games have been fun. Not they have been like
- 48:02Speaker 5: these top tier games, playoff games, the college football Championship.
- 48:06Speaker 5: I mean, we've seen some we can say whatever we
- 48:09Speaker 5: want about stylistically, nil all that stuff, but it's bottom line,
- 48:14Speaker 5: we've seen some excellent football being played.
- 48:16Speaker 3: At least in my opinion.
- 48:18Speaker 7: Yep, I'm with you.
- 48:19Speaker 5: And and the question becomes before we close out the
- 48:23Speaker 5: question that I'm interested in, So are we on an
- 48:27Speaker 5: upward trajectory to successful NFL games going forward? Or are
- 48:38Speaker 5: the games going to be better? Here's what I say.
- 48:41Speaker 5: My opinion is yes, But I think what's going what
- 48:45Speaker 5: they've realized and they're not saying this, but by expanding
- 48:50Speaker 5: like far as your college football career now, they've essentially
- 48:54Speaker 5: what they've done college football is now the minor leagues.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Yes, because of.
- 48:59Speaker 5: That, And the thing is they needed to expand it,
- 49:03Speaker 5: so they actually need players in college for six to
- 49:07Speaker 5: seven years now, so that way when they come into
- 49:10Speaker 5: the NFL they can be a lot more developed because
- 49:12Speaker 5: I think what we're going to see now, you're probably
- 49:15Speaker 5: going to see shorter overall careers in the NFL, but
- 49:18Speaker 5: you're going to see a higher level of play because
- 49:21Speaker 5: they've spent so much time in college. Because if you're
- 49:23Speaker 5: coming out of college and I'm twenty four to twenty five,
- 49:26Speaker 5: my body's developed, I'm mature, and I'm probably ready to
- 49:29Speaker 5: be a professional. I'm used to dealing with money now,
- 49:32Speaker 5: so again, I may not pay for fifteen to twenty
- 49:35Speaker 5: and ten years, My career may be six, seven, eight years,
- 49:38Speaker 5: but you're going to have a tighter impact. And I
- 49:40Speaker 5: think you're seeing that with offensive line play. You're seeing
- 49:43Speaker 5: that we're running back play, and I think it's eventually
- 49:46Speaker 5: basically going to transfer to quarterbacks.
- 49:47Speaker 3: I think that's an I think that's.
- 49:48Speaker 5: A scary issue for the for the eighteen year old
- 49:51Speaker 5: freshman that might come into the league and be playing
- 49:55Speaker 5: and now he's going against a straight up grown man.
- 49:58Speaker 5: But it's not because now you're going to be going
- 50:00Speaker 5: to Division two. I'm telling you, you're gonna end up
- 50:03Speaker 5: be going to Division two, Junior College one, Double A,
- 50:05Speaker 5: and you're gonna have to work your way up to
- 50:06Speaker 5: Division one, so you're not even probably gonna get there
- 50:08Speaker 5: to your twenty I'm telling you, I see a system
- 50:11Speaker 5: with which a change system. If it works that way,
- 50:14Speaker 5: I'm with you. But if it doesn't, it's a scary
- 50:18Speaker 5: situation because I just think you're going to have an
- 50:20Speaker 5: eighteen year old who's going to be able to play
- 50:22Speaker 5: on somebody's D one team and playing against somebody twenty
- 50:26Speaker 5: five years old that should have already been in the league.
- 50:30Speaker 3: I think that's I think that's I think that's a risk.
- 50:32Speaker 6: And we're already seeing the effects of the changes in
- 50:35Speaker 6: the college, you know, national championship game, and when we
- 50:38Speaker 6: had two teams that would have never been there a
- 50:41Speaker 6: few years ago without the implementation of I mean, I
- 50:44Speaker 6: hate to say it, without the implementation of NIL and
- 50:46Speaker 6: all the things that go with it, the transfer portal,
- 50:49Speaker 6: because you had an Indiana and a Miami that took
- 50:51Speaker 6: full advantage of those things.
- 50:52Speaker 3: And it worked, and it worked Champion and we get no.
- 50:56Speaker 5: But the thing is, you could say that we got
- 51:00Speaker 5: probably the best championship game we've gotten in probably the
- 51:03Speaker 5: last five ten years.
- 51:04Speaker 7: And I can say that.
- 51:05Speaker 5: We can say, but it was it was competitive to
- 51:07Speaker 5: the end, and it was a beautiful, great game, and.
- 51:10Speaker 3: It can to me it could be that.
- 51:13Speaker 5: But let's let's let's let's just create a real, straightforward
- 51:19Speaker 5: way that the system is gonna work. Right now, I
- 51:23Speaker 5: don't like the system. I don't think it's working. I
- 51:25Speaker 5: don't think it's benefiting.
- 51:27Speaker 7: So we're both fired.
- 51:29Speaker 5: But I want to know how it ain't working right now?
- 51:32Speaker 5: I need but no, but how how it worked? But
- 51:35Speaker 5: the question is how is it not working? I just
- 51:38Speaker 5: I just don't. I just don't think it did too.
- 51:41Speaker 5: I like, I feel like.
- 51:43Speaker 6: And I'm the first to say I was wrong, like
- 51:45Speaker 6: I forgot is wrong too. I was not a fan.
- 51:47Speaker 6: Now I'm seeing the results, and I like.
- 51:49Speaker 5: It because the thing is, you're getting mature slayers. You're
- 51:52Speaker 5: getting paid now. So that way because the things we're
- 51:55Speaker 5: just sold on, no, no, no, they're gonna get paid. But
- 51:57Speaker 5: here's the thing is, when was the last time in
- 52:00Speaker 5: the last let's say five years, we heard about a
- 52:03Speaker 5: major college football start getting kicked out of school or
- 52:07Speaker 5: getting suspended from the championship game or or bowl game.
- 52:10Speaker 5: When was the last time you heard about an NFL
- 52:13Speaker 5: player like what happened to the guy from the Raiders
- 52:16Speaker 5: or Ray Lewis or guy from the Falcons getting in
- 52:19Speaker 5: trouble prior to Super Bowl or playoffs? You don't really
- 52:23Speaker 5: hear those stories to that degree. I had asked that
- 52:25Speaker 5: question a couple of shows back about you know, you
- 52:29Speaker 5: don't hear college athletes getting kicked out of school or academics,
- 52:34Speaker 5: not major guys, not major guys, And if it's somebody.
- 52:37Speaker 7: That AI helps with that.
- 52:41Speaker 3: You know, he AI.
- 52:43Speaker 5: Helps a lot and I and I can I can
- 52:45Speaker 5: appreciate that, and and I think that's a good thing.
- 52:49Speaker 5: But at the at the core of it, how you
- 52:52Speaker 5: know why and how is this happening? I think when
- 52:55Speaker 5: you do that, if you get into the digging. While
- 52:58Speaker 5: it's good, it may not be. I think it's good
- 53:01Speaker 5: because the NFL needs it. You need it because the
- 53:04Speaker 5: NFL has shown how cheap they are because they don't
- 53:06Speaker 5: want to supplement a real minor league system. I mean,
- 53:10Speaker 5: they have the UFL, but it's not I don't even
- 53:13Speaker 5: know if they get any players from there. They do,
- 53:15Speaker 5: they do, but it's not something they can't get a
- 53:18Speaker 5: fan base attached to that, So that's gonna be a
- 53:21Speaker 5: long slow grow. It's not like baseball where you just
- 53:24Speaker 5: enjoy going to the minor league game. So it's it's
- 53:27Speaker 5: hard to get a fan base attached to these kind
- 53:30Speaker 5: of made up teams when they're kind of always in
- 53:32Speaker 5: and out. So they're going to have to have the
- 53:34Speaker 5: minor league system incorporated into college. So that's the only
- 53:37Speaker 5: way this thing is. To me, it's the only way
- 53:39Speaker 5: it's going to survive and grow. And I can see
- 53:41Speaker 5: a situation in which now particularly football and basketball players,
- 53:44Speaker 5: men women, basketball players and football players actually are sort
- 53:48Speaker 5: of employees of the school and not tied to academics.
- 53:51Speaker 3: You know what I'm say, because.
- 53:52Speaker 5: It's gonna be a situation in which, what like what
- 53:54Speaker 5: Dianna is doing, We're not gonna get We're gonna get fined,
- 53:57Speaker 5: We're you're gonna have to sign two and three year
- 53:59Speaker 5: contracts where you're just not gonna be able to have
- 54:01Speaker 5: the movement. I do think that Dion is well ahead
- 54:06Speaker 5: of the system in what he's doing and far as
- 54:09Speaker 5: to finding we're talking about him finding players for like,
- 54:12Speaker 5: you know, missing practice and all that others. I think
- 54:14Speaker 5: you because you need that because at some point, if
- 54:16Speaker 5: you pay me a bunch of money, I might be
- 54:18Speaker 5: feeling myself and thinking like, oh, I don't need to
- 54:20Speaker 5: get invict ue today, I'm gonna hang out. But dang,
- 54:23Speaker 5: how much how many problems are you having where you
- 54:25Speaker 5: gotta do that?
- 54:27Speaker 3: Come on.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Running, don't carry that no more. I gotta go on
- 54:31Speaker 5: my mocket. I would like to think that it does.
- 54:34Speaker 5: I would like to think that it does. All right, Well,
- 54:36Speaker 5: ladies and gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed the show and
- 54:38Speaker 5: we will be back again next week.
- 54:40Speaker 2: You gotta work by sign, it's mine. Gotta show. Everybody
- 54:44Speaker 2: is my sign. You gotta work right sign. Another mind
- 54:49Speaker 2: who talk to die this day line, don't tell you gotta.

- 55:02Speaker 2: I'm going hard like Kobe inside of gym.
- 55:05Speaker 3: I'm a dim in the dirt.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Ain't in gym.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Going for greatness. I gotta win by any means.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Because I don't know when I'll be back again. Going hard,
- 55:13Speaker 2: I gotta get it.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Man, I can't even lie.
- 55:15Speaker 2: I put in some much sweat. My body ain't running. Try,
- 55:18Speaker 2: I said so many times now. I don't want to
- 55:20Speaker 2: cry and ize coming easy to me. And I had
- 55:23Speaker 2: to do is try. I had to work, put myself
- 55:25Speaker 2: through it, even though I knew it hurt. Look at
- 55:27Speaker 2: you doing it right there. It dont matter who doing first.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Never say yourself short, know your work. I knew I
- 55:32Speaker 2: wasn't the one that sends birth. I had to work,
- 55:35Speaker 2: ry shine, it's mine, gotta show. Everybody is my time here.
- 55:39Speaker 2: You gotta work crying shine, love, a mind who talk
- 55:43Speaker 2: and die because day Lie don't talk.
- 55:45Speaker 3: You gotta work, You gotta work.
