- 0:00Speaker 1: And Rich. Good morning, Reese, Hi, Hi, Hi, you're in
- 0:05Speaker 1: the air.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I wanted to share something kind of crazy that happened
- 0:11Speaker 2: over the weekend. So okay, So I hosted my boyfriend's
- 0:17Speaker 2: family for taco night, and I wanted everything to be
- 0:20Speaker 2: like really cute, feeling, really nice, organized the whole thing,
- 0:23Speaker 2: And then I had no idea until later. I accidentally
- 0:28Speaker 2: grabbed cinnamon instead of taco season and didn't realize until
- 0:32Speaker 2: everyone had already taken a few bites, and nobody wanted
- 0:36Speaker 2: to say something. So we all sat there pretending that
- 0:40Speaker 2: we're just like eating sweet beef tacos. And this was
- 0:42Speaker 2: like the next cooldre until his little brother finally whispered,
- 0:46Speaker 2: He's like, why does this taste like a candle? And mortified,
- 0:51Speaker 2: and now I'm getting like memes from like my entire
- 0:54Speaker 2: family just suddenly like cinnamon and like candle memes. I'm like,
- 0:59Speaker 2: please stop, please. So I just wanted to share that
- 1:03Speaker 2: in the moment.
- 1:05Speaker 3: So a lot of times when you switch ingredients like that,
- 1:08Speaker 3: it's like a new thing, cool stuff is invented. In
- 1:11Speaker 3: your case, it went the opposite way. It did not
- 1:14Speaker 3: taste good cinnamon and tacos.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh, I feel like that's the biggest thing though,
- 1:18Speaker 4: Like when you're trying to impress somebody and you just
- 1:21Speaker 4: epically fail, like that is the worst feeling, especially when
- 1:24Speaker 4: it's your man and you're really trying to win him over.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Like I was like, Okay, I'm not making mistakes. I mean,
- 1:30Speaker 2: like the biggest mistake.
- 1:33Speaker 1: What a nice family though, he has where they didn't
- 1:35Speaker 1: want to call you out or anything. Right, the parents
- 1:37Speaker 1: are just eating the cinnamon tacos.
- 1:39Speaker 3: What an awesome family that afterwards they like you enough
- 1:42Speaker 3: to be like.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yeah right yeah, So like as Pyle as you would say,
- 1:45Speaker 1: you're looking at this all wrong. This is a great future.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It's a great family that you could be marrying into.
- 1:50Speaker 4: That's true, because the thing is is like you could
- 1:53Speaker 4: be like trying to like date into John Jay's family
- 1:56Speaker 4: and then you got Dutch roasting your cooking all the time.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Anyway. Posting on TikTok and going viral, Sochi has a
- 2:02Speaker 1: video of two million views of him ripping on his
- 2:06Speaker 1: brother for making dinner with his girlfriend. Yeah that's a
- 2:08Speaker 1: good point, girl. Yeah, let's just say it works out.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Let's just say this is a guy you marry it
- 2:14Speaker 1: would be fun to do if this story like inside
- 2:17Speaker 1: joke or everybody's in on it. Eventually at the wedding
- 2:19Speaker 1: in the back, have it like a cinnamon taco box
- 2:22Speaker 1: actually desert.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's actually kind of funny. I mean, he's not
- 2:30Speaker 2: gonna let me live it down, so I wouldn't be
- 2:33Speaker 2: surprised if that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's funny that you made the mistake and he served
- 2:36Speaker 1: it the people. I remember I was making scramble eggs
- 2:38Speaker 1: one time, just for me, and I went to put
- 2:40Speaker 1: pepper in it and the whole thing fell in. You
- 2:42Speaker 1: ever heard that? And I was so I took the napkins,
- 2:45Speaker 1: was trying to soak up the pepper, but I ate
- 2:47Speaker 1: it anyway, and it was terrible. Yes, I mean like terrible,
- 2:50Speaker 1: like the stomach hurt. I'm sure too much pepper, too
- 2:54Speaker 1: much pepper. But anyway, Rech, thanks for calling in.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Thank you guys.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I wonder if there's any other like cooking disaster stories.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Especially in front of the family.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like an innocent mistake and it was just
- 3:09Speaker 1: or something happens a disaster. You know, my my son
- 3:12Speaker 1: and his girlfriend right now, for the last two weeks,
- 3:15Speaker 1: they've been trying to make starter sour dough. Oh my gosh,
- 3:19Speaker 1: I have some, and I don't know how they do it.
- 3:22Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna tell you what's going on in
- 3:23Speaker 1: our kitchen. There's a there's two mason jars. One has
- 3:26Speaker 1: water in it, one has ugh, and they and they
- 3:29Speaker 1: keep changing it out every day because they're doing it wrong.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And I'm like, let's just buy bread.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Well, most people like get their starters from someone else.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Like there's starters that are out there that one hundred
- 3:38Speaker 4: years of old. My mom's so yeah, my mom's making
- 3:41Speaker 4: sour dough right now and has a ton of starter.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I'll just bring some for kemping Catherine.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But so is it? I don't understand that world. But
- 3:46Speaker 1: isn't it then it's your starter, like it's your recipe,
- 3:49Speaker 1: it's your whatever. Don't you have that flower and water?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Why is this so hard? Why is it called starter?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Should become starter for sour dough? Is like it's it's
- 3:57Speaker 3: it's not it's like part of it is like you
- 3:59Speaker 3: have to get it to get moldy and stuff like that.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And once you have it from it, yes, fermented or whatever.
- 4:04Speaker 3: That a bad name. It's not starter. It doesn't start.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I don't understand why you keep using it, Like because you.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Only use a little bit of starter, and then you
- 4:13Speaker 4: add all the flour and the water to it, and
- 4:15Speaker 4: then that's how ferment.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I know, for a starter to be one hundred years old,
- 4:20Speaker 2: it's like just blows my mind.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Keep it alad and then when it does become bread,
- 4:24Speaker 1: it's good for you. Yeah, yeah, all right,
