The Gospel Reminder
Paul opens by reminding the Corinthians of the gospel they received, the very foundation of their faith. This gospel is not just a past event—they are standing in it now and being saved by it daily. But there's a condition: they must hold fast to it. This teaches us that the gospel is not just for unbelievers; it's the daily bread of every believer. We must continually return to it and allow it to shape our lives.
