- 0:01Speaker 1: The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodich Living Color.
- 0:07Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 0:10Speaker 2: The time is five forty nine.
- 0:12Speaker 3: I had a shock and sleep last night. Shock him, No,
- 0:14Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:14Speaker 4: I laid to wait till around about one o'clock, just
- 0:16Speaker 4: thinking about my life. Best time to do it rather
- 0:20Speaker 4: than sleeping. I just have a little think about stuff
- 0:22Speaker 4: there and finally managed to drift off deep beautiful sleepers
- 0:28Speaker 4: and until I run.
- 0:28Speaker 3: About three three thirty am.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Got this local bird gets up at three three thirty
- 0:36Speaker 4: in the morning and just starts yearning. Yeah, just starts
- 0:40Speaker 4: running his yap to nobody. Because birds, when they're chirping
- 0:46Speaker 4: away there, it's it's to attract a mate. That's the
- 0:49Speaker 4: time of the day that they're trying to attract a mate.
- 0:52Speaker 4: No one's talking back to him. Everybody, all the birds
- 0:55Speaker 4: know he's a punisher.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Well he started too early.
- 0:57Speaker 4: That's he's too early, but he wants to be first
- 0:59Speaker 4: early bird gets the worm or that nice bird ass
- 1:02Speaker 4: if you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, but no
- 1:07Speaker 4: one gets back to him. So he goes through about
- 1:09Speaker 4: and I'm not. He's got a really annoying voice as well,
- 1:13Speaker 4: and I think that's part of the problem. The bird,
- 1:14Speaker 4: like it just goes straight through.
- 1:16Speaker 3: You, like he can imagine all the other beds, like,
- 1:18Speaker 3: oh God, what does that sort of sound like? Imagine
- 1:20Speaker 3: every really wow?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Does that over and over again till around about five
- 1:31Speaker 4: thirty he gives up, So a couple of hours of that,
- 1:34Speaker 4: and then he tags in about another half a dozen
- 1:36Speaker 4: other species and then they all start yearning, right, So
- 1:40Speaker 4: that goes to about seven and then they all go
- 1:43Speaker 4: about their you know, about their days, get some wombs
- 1:46Speaker 4: and stuff.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Feeding and getting coffees and that sort of thing.
- 1:49Speaker 4: But when I tell you, you cannot sleep through it, man,
- 1:52Speaker 4: So I'm awake it through and I don't know what
- 1:54Speaker 4: to do about it because I'm just lying there thinking
- 1:58Speaker 4: it's probably too dark to shoot him, Like, how would
- 2:00Speaker 4: I find him? I would need night vision goggles. Have
- 2:04Speaker 4: you got any keysy?
- 2:05Speaker 3: I don't have any. I don't know why you'd think
- 2:07Speaker 3: i'd have some.
- 2:08Speaker 2: If I was thinking about someone that would have night
- 2:13Speaker 2: vision goggles, you would be my first bet.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Yes, yes, totally. And fatigues and fatigue, I bet you're
- 2:19Speaker 3: in the territorials. That's how I think of you. I mean, look,
- 2:23Speaker 3: I mean I've flattered. I guess that you guys would
- 2:25Speaker 3: think I have night vision goggles.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Well, I just you strike me as a gadget kind
- 2:30Speaker 2: of guy. Yeah, gadget.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I like my gadgets. Yeah, I don't have night vision.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I feel like we're getting off topic here, but I
- 2:37Speaker 3: don't know what to do.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Apparently it's worse because it didn't used to be like
- 2:43Speaker 4: this in the winter, So I think now that they're
- 2:44Speaker 4: into their mating and all that sort of carry on.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Daylight savings, of course doesn't help, but the warmer where
- 2:49Speaker 4: that plays into it. So spring and summer, early summer,
- 2:52Speaker 4: it said, it's worse, apparently, So I've got another two
- 2:54Speaker 4: three months of this and I can't.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I can't deal with it.
- 2:58Speaker 4: So I wake my missus up about It's like, how
- 3:00Speaker 4: about these bloody birds?
- 3:01Speaker 3: She's like, I can't hear anything?
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah? These she said, what? Yeah, I said the birds.
- 3:07Speaker 4: You can't tell me you can't hear the bird.
- 3:09Speaker 3: She's like, is this sweep? Yeah? So I can't talk
- 3:11Speaker 3: to her about it. She doesn't get it. Oh man,
- 3:13Speaker 3: sorry to hear that.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But what can I do kids. I'm looking for a solution,
- 3:16Speaker 4: not sympathy. I mean a million times, I'm looking for
- 3:19Speaker 4: solutions or night vision goggles, not sympathy.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I've told you a million times that you have you
- 3:23Speaker 3: tried wearing ear plugs? Yes? Right? Work? Yeah? Where you go?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh sweet? Are is it? She is? Man? Actually?
- 3:34Speaker 3: I do some Arabian nightgoggles you could borrow if you want.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I don't know what that means. Well, I don't like
- 3:40Speaker 3: the sound of it. No, no, trust me. I'll bring
- 3:43Speaker 3: them in and you try them on. You're a second.
- 3:47Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Stone Temple pilots here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 3:54Speaker 2: this Tuesday evening. The time is five twenty seven. Fellas.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And we were sitting in our lounge.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Last night, de douche de douche firecrackers, of course, cracking
- 4:04Speaker 2: the fire cracker, and my wife and I, as we
- 4:07Speaker 2: always doing that scenario, we immediately tense up because you
- 4:10Speaker 2: remember back in the day when we had our dog.
- 4:13Speaker 3: She said, dog called Rue. Yeah, that's right.
- 4:15Speaker 2: She was betshit. She would go beatshit crazy, and I
- 4:19Speaker 2: mean she was a farm dog.
- 4:21Speaker 3: She would back her ass off. She was she was
- 4:24Speaker 3: a collie, and so.
- 4:25Speaker 2: We're tense up and then we realized that for the
- 4:28Speaker 2: first time in over ten years, Guy Forks is going
- 4:31Speaker 2: to occur, and a snowbit deal to us anymore.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You'd be stressed out for quite a long period before
- 4:37Speaker 4: because it was early, and then it goes for another
- 4:39Speaker 4: few days afterwards, and you'd be coming in here like
- 4:42Speaker 4: a lot of nerves, ifing and.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Jeff and having a dealer.
- 4:46Speaker 4: You were freaking out about the fire, about the dog,
- 4:49Speaker 4: freaking out about the fireworks. The dog was int and
- 4:51Speaker 4: that you were freaking out about something, so the dog
- 4:53Speaker 4: was freaking out, and then all of a sudden there's
- 4:54Speaker 4: an explosion that doesn't have a nap.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, And I was freaking out about Jase was really.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Funny, and it was so it was seriously so bad.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I used to hate it.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Man, This is who like drugged to the eyeballs as well,
- 5:08Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 5:09Speaker 3: I know, but you gave him with them. That's not
- 5:11Speaker 3: the drug. It's not.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Do you do do you do?
- 5:18Speaker 3: Guy Fawkes? Can you do? Do you do? Do you do?
- 5:21Speaker 3: Do I do? Guy for Do you like Guy Forks? Mogie.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I person. I used to love guy fawks as a kid. Yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 3: but that was back in the day where we go
- 5:32Speaker 3: to the stock cars, right, stock cars and total and
- 5:36Speaker 3: then it'd be fireworks afterwards, like a proper display. I
- 5:40Speaker 3: mean there was one or one or two occasions when
- 5:42Speaker 3: I was a kid where we'd, you know, have bought
- 5:43Speaker 3: fireworks and have the Yeah, have the cousins around and
- 5:47Speaker 3: do it. But it always didn't live up to the
- 5:50Speaker 3: expectations of going somewhere and watching the proper show. Right.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So to be honest, I don't. I don't really like fireworks.
- 5:55Speaker 3: It doesn't affect me. I don't have a dog or
- 5:57Speaker 3: a young kid, but I think having having that can
- 6:00Speaker 3: potentially keep your entire neighborhood up at ten or eleven
- 6:03Speaker 3: o'clock at No, I'm not that keen on it because
- 6:05Speaker 3: I would have packed.
- 6:06Speaker 2: This would have been my peck for you here we
- 6:08Speaker 2: go that your you and your wife would have packed
- 6:11Speaker 2: a picnic and sat in the park somewhere to watch
- 6:14Speaker 2: the fire.
- 6:16Speaker 3: This is the thing.
- 6:16Speaker 4: What There's nothing Kezy likes more surprise picnic thrown by
- 6:20Speaker 4: his wife.
- 6:21Speaker 3: They go out.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Then the last thing she does after they've had dessert
- 6:24Speaker 4: and had the walk around she gets out of Sparkle
- 6:26Speaker 4: for Keezy to wrap the night at a true keesy.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, well yeah if that sky foks and one hundred percent
- 6:32Speaker 3: I love it.
- 6:33Speaker 2: And I also want to make this point too. I
- 6:35Speaker 2: don't want to be like those reformed smokers, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 2: who are holier than now. My heart and my head
- 6:42Speaker 2: are sore with all the pet owners out there, because
- 6:44Speaker 2: that is a fricking night.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I mean, I've just say pet owners owners something else,
- 6:49Speaker 5: you know, because I've still got Jazz, your cat, my cat, Well,
- 6:53Speaker 5: you haven't experience, hasn't experience so well, as I said,
- 6:56Speaker 5: it was a little bit going on last night, like
- 7:00Speaker 5: oh where's Jizz?
- 7:02Speaker 3: And then we opened in the front.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Door and she just strutted his ship, so she didn't.
- 7:06Speaker 2: She's pretty staunch old ers.
- 7:10Speaker 3: So what I'm what I'm getting gathering from you here, Jason,
- 7:13Speaker 3: is that you are pleased that your dog is dead.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I'm not pleased.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm just saying it is a relief to not have
- 7:25Speaker 2: to go through that at this time of year, at
- 7:28Speaker 2: this time of the year. Okay, just check and Moggie's right,
- 7:31Speaker 2: because we live in West Talk and I don't know
- 7:32Speaker 2: if you've ever been out West Moga. It's wild out there.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Ake easy, yeah, don't go out there barding kids.
- 7:41Speaker 2: And the fireworks tended to start like three days before
- 7:44Speaker 2: go fawks and then go for about three days afterwards.
- 7:47Speaker 2: So it turned into like a seven day nightmare in
- 7:51Speaker 2: my household. Thus I'd come in to work Efan and
- 7:53Speaker 2: Jeff and stressed.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Also do we call it fireworks or do we call
- 7:57Speaker 3: them firecrackers? Fuck? Cracking, crackle.
- 8:03Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with j Mike and Kezy
- 8:06Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hold Iching.

- 8:34Speaker 3: get yourself a fifty dollars reburg of voucher. If we
- 8:36Speaker 3: read it out on the show. And we are just
- 8:38Speaker 3: starting to run a wee bit low now people might
- 8:41Speaker 3: be listening thinking, oh what, you haven't read my question?
- 8:43Speaker 3: A lot of them Yeah, philm yeah, IM one beerfore
- 8:48Speaker 3: was from a guy who was having ear pain whenever
- 8:51Speaker 3: Hoidy J Was speaking listening and then you realized it
- 8:54Speaker 3: was because his honker was sticking out through the headphones
- 8:57Speaker 3: and into his ear. So just stuff like that. We
- 8:59Speaker 3: can't really give it on that.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Well, I mean we could really, I would have been
- 9:04Speaker 2: happy to give advice on that.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Well that, what would your advice have been?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Well, I'm not going to do it now, because that
- 9:08Speaker 2: then that loser we get a fifty.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, So just keeping coming and meet patting
- 9:13Speaker 3: up sixty nine at gmail dot com. This one comes
- 9:15Speaker 3: from anonymous feelers. Hey, team, keep this anonymous or not
- 9:18Speaker 3: up to you guys? Oh, up to us? Okay, not anonymous? Really? Okay?
- 9:22Speaker 3: Well why don't we see what it sees first? Sean Wilson,
- 9:26Speaker 3: what about him? That's who's sent it in. I need
- 9:29Speaker 3: some advice on getting sponsors. Me and a couple of
- 9:31Speaker 3: mates are taking on the Mongol Rally next year. Can
- 9:34Speaker 3: you call it there? Yeah, it's in Mongolia. It's a
- 9:37Speaker 3: self supported car rally from Prague to Kazakhstan and basically
- 9:41Speaker 3: the shittest car that you can buy. I've heard of
- 9:43Speaker 3: this thing and it's something I've always wanted to do.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And I think we've actually interviewed someone that's done that.
- 9:48Speaker 3: We should do it. Do you beget in the Mongol
- 9:50Speaker 3: rally for sure? Where's it from again, Prague to Kazakhstan? Yeah,
- 9:55Speaker 3: it's got a long way.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Yeah, we're just trying to rustle up some sponsors and
- 9:59Speaker 3: thought i'd ask some advice on how to go about
- 10:00Speaker 3: doing it, especially since you fellows managed to do deals
- 10:03Speaker 3: with Reburger and Diamonds on Richmond, which I imagine must
- 10:06Speaker 3: run into the millions, if not billions of dollars per year.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Any help appreciate?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Well, this is a difficult one. First and foremost and
- 10:13Speaker 2: the most important thing. You've got to have some talent. Yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 2: you've got to be a megastar.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're doing a radio show. Yeah, but they're
- 10:22Speaker 3: driving across you know, so to be cool like online content.
- 10:25Speaker 3: But what do they need? They need gas money, what
- 10:27Speaker 3: do they need? Well, they need they didn't pay for
- 10:29Speaker 3: the car. They need to get over their flights. They need,
- 10:31Speaker 3: you know, pay the entry fees. It's an expensive endeavor,
- 10:36Speaker 3: but what's the spot You gotta think what's the sponsor
- 10:38Speaker 3: going to get out of it? Is one of them. Second,
- 10:40Speaker 3: it's one of them sick.
- 10:42Speaker 4: No, because it's had if people are just going away
- 10:43Speaker 4: to have fun, Like if we're going to start doing that,
- 10:45Speaker 4: then I would like to get some sponsors so I.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Can go to Europe next year again.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I'd like sponsorship for the same thing. I've never even
- 10:53Speaker 2: been to bloody Europe. I mean, before anyone thinks they're
- 10:56Speaker 2: giving these losers sponsorship, they should be giving it to
- 10:59Speaker 2: Hoidy j to get but in Europe because I simply
- 11:01Speaker 2: must No.
- 11:02Speaker 3: But that's like you have money, You got heaps of
- 11:04Speaker 3: money to get over there. No way, don't dog squad money. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 3: I've gone by, been through that. Yeah, been through the
- 11:09Speaker 3: dog squad money. Sure, I don't money.
- 11:13Speaker 4: I guess it's family and friends as the first place
- 11:15Speaker 4: to start, right, Yeah, it's five thousand k's. It's a
- 11:19Speaker 4: long way from from Prague to Kazakhstan. Four and a
- 11:22Speaker 4: half five thousand k's. It's long way, right, Yeah, I
- 11:28Speaker 4: don't know, it's it's very very tricky. I don't know
- 11:30Speaker 4: if Eburger would be interested because you get offer them
- 11:33Speaker 4: free burgers as they went around, but I don't know
- 11:35Speaker 4: if they're in Kazakhstan.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and I don't know the diamonds on Richmond would
- 11:39Speaker 2: be any good either, because you know what's good? What's
- 11:41Speaker 2: a ring to them when you're going through the desert
- 11:44Speaker 2: and stuff?
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean, I guess we could hit up
- 11:47Speaker 3: the Black Clash.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not doing it. We're given him suggestions.
- 11:52Speaker 4: We're not now working for him.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Are well maybe we could, you know, because we're a
- 11:56Speaker 3: great show. We could talk to some of our sponsors, like,
- 11:58Speaker 3: for example, we could to the Dunedin Beer Festival, which
- 12:02Speaker 3: were going to this weekend. Yeah, and see if they
- 12:04Speaker 3: want to sponsor his car.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Well maybe they could have some of the big to dos,
- 12:09Speaker 4: the beer that Emersons have made for us down there.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Yeah. No, okay, that's that sort of you. I don't know.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I don't know what to do.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I think just quit. Quit while you're here while it lasted. Man,
- 12:20Speaker 4: that's shocking.
- 12:21Speaker 2: People say follow your dreams.
- 12:22Speaker 3: That's just that's ship. That's bullshit.
- 12:24Speaker 4: There's bucketless stuff, but sounds like it's on someone else's buckets.
- 12:28Speaker 4: It's too hard for usual.
- 12:29Speaker 3: It's tell that the bucket is full of poos. Yeah exactly.
- 12:32Speaker 3: But let me know how you go though, because we
- 12:33Speaker 3: can to do it.
- 12:35Speaker 1: The Whold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 12:38Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Hodarchy and exists there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 12:44Speaker 2: This our Tuesday afternoon. The time is twenty five minutes
- 12:46Speaker 2: past five o'clock. We were talking about the fel You know,
- 12:49Speaker 2: when you have your group of friends, your feller friends
- 12:53Speaker 2: after you know, when you leave score and you play
- 12:55Speaker 2: sport together, your flat together, you go partying together, you
- 12:58Speaker 2: do all the sort of fun stuff, and then one
- 13:00Speaker 2: of your mates falls in love with someone and you
- 13:04Speaker 2: never see them again and.
- 13:06Speaker 3: They just bag her off.
- 13:07Speaker 2: And then you were talking about one of your great
- 13:09Speaker 2: mates and you were inseparable Mogi, Yes, right, and he
- 13:11Speaker 2: found someone and you didn't see him for a year,
- 13:14Speaker 2: and then he came sniffling back to your.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Doorway he did, and to be honest, the connection was gone.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yes at that point, really yeah, yeah, yeah, Wow, we
- 13:22Speaker 4: were mates again.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Because I've certainly had that, Like at high school. I
- 13:25Speaker 3: vividly remember like dating a high school ch This is
- 13:28Speaker 3: when I'm freaking I don't know, fourteen or one of
- 13:30Speaker 3: the teachers. What was the gats. No, I wasn't dating
- 13:33Speaker 3: a teacher, that's you're getting me mixed up with another
- 13:36Speaker 3: member of the Big Show. So when I was at Sky,
- 13:38Speaker 3: I remember having a part a girlfriend who might have
- 13:41Speaker 3: been like fourteen or something. I was fourteen. And then
- 13:44Speaker 3: at lunchtime, instead of playing touch rugby with all my mates,
- 13:47Speaker 3: which is what we did every lunchtime, I was like, no,
- 13:50Speaker 3: I'm going to go hang out by the canteen with
- 13:52Speaker 3: so and so. And I did that for like and
- 13:55Speaker 3: then we broke up. Her name was so and so.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Where is she from? Front Toto?
- 13:59Speaker 2: When you say you you're going to hang out with
- 14:01Speaker 2: so and so, you when you say hang out and
- 14:06Speaker 2: inverted commas, you mean pash.
- 14:08Speaker 3: They like hold hands and stuff by the canteen and
- 14:10Speaker 3: sort of share a juicy all.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I remember, you know, when I uh first fell in
- 14:16Speaker 2: love and this was after school and my mates and
- 14:19Speaker 2: I would be like and my mates would say to me,
- 14:21Speaker 2: do you want to have to have a game of marbles?
- 14:23Speaker 2: And I'd be like, Oh, I'm gonna go and hang
- 14:25Speaker 2: out with what's the name.
- 14:29Speaker 3: From?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Oh?
- 14:30Speaker 2: She was just a friend that a girl I met
- 14:32Speaker 2: through an usual name though it is I think it's Romanium, right,
- 14:37Speaker 2: And they go okay, fine, so.
- 14:41Speaker 4: You play marbles generally, and then what you go do
- 14:44Speaker 4: you after school job cleaning chimneys?
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah I was doing chimneys at that time, actually yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And then you know, but this is the thing and
- 14:53Speaker 2: they just disappear and they and you lose that connection
- 14:56Speaker 2: with your mates, you.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Do, you know, I think if it's a different story,
- 14:59Speaker 4: if you'll be mates with him for years, lots of
- 15:01Speaker 4: my other mates, if they had have done that, then
- 15:03Speaker 4: that would have been that would have been different.
- 15:04Speaker 3: But yet I always found it an odd bastard. It's
- 15:08Speaker 3: always an initial thing. Well in my experience, it's an
- 15:10Speaker 3: initial thing, and then eventually they realized, hang on, it's
- 15:13Speaker 3: great having a partner, but you do need your mates
- 15:16Speaker 3: as well, you know.

- 16:11Speaker 4: things that friend friends can offer. Correct, Like what well
- 16:16Speaker 4: you think about old so and so? Oh yeah, you know,
- 16:19Speaker 4: half a juicy.
