Three high school seniors are revolutionizing school bus safety with their invention, BusGuard — a smart system that detects and deters illegal passing of stopped buses. Inspired by a near-miss they witnessed, the teens built a prototype that’s already proven 95% accurate in over 200 tests. With nearly 38 million illegal passings projected nationwide each year, their solution could save lives.
