Speaker 1: all right, welcome back.
• 0:12
Speaker 1: It's the north florida sports network network.
• 0:15
Speaker 1: This nitwit, it's playoffs.
• 0:22
Speaker 1: Man, we're here with the usual suspects for picks.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: Um, let's go over last week's playoff standings, where we get started.
• 0:31
Speaker 1: Jimmy five and one last week's playoff jimmy um myself and justin, three and three and then mike, the regular season champ 1-5.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: So, yeah, but overall that puts it right down the middle.
• 0:49
  Speaker 2: We got four.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, overall as a show we're still not losing.
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: Positive take.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: We got four this week and this is a lot of people's favorite favorite week.
• 1:10
Speaker 1: Um, this is, uh, super bowl week.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: It's probably my third.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: Um, it's gotten to that point where it's not about a game.
• 1:14
Speaker 1: You know there's so much stuff, there's only one game.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: I think I like divisional round the best and then but I I definitely championship.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: Sunday is best day.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: I feel, like you get two days still with division around and sometimes you get the best matchups.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: So it's really close between this week and next week.
• 1:32
Speaker 1: But I usually go with this week and start Saturday with probably the worst matchup of the four, and it's the Texans going to the chiefs.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: The interesting part about this.
• 1:44
Speaker 1: It will be the line, and I think it's eight and a half right now, and the Texans are getting that.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: That's big, too much.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: All right, let's start with you, mike, who you got in this Eight and a half.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Texans are getting eight and a half.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: In Kansas City it starts at 430.
• 2:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to take Houston.
• 2:08
Speaker 2: I think Chiefs will win by probably four, three or four yeah, more or less.
• 2:14
Speaker 2: So I'm going to take Houston to cover this eight and a half.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: All right, all right, let's go to Justin, who you got yeah, that's that.
• 2:22
Speaker 4: Uh uh, kansas city doesn't blow anybody out, man.
• 2:25
Speaker 4: They haven't blown anybody out all season.
• 2:27
Speaker 4: I I don't think they start in the playoffs.
• 2:29
Speaker 4: When the competition gets better, I think they win.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: But yeah, um, houston played well.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: Um, I did not see that last week, um, but I do see kansas city winning this game by double digits.
• 2:47
Speaker 1: Um, I think they turned it on.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: I think this is time, I think this is what they've been waiting for.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: Um, I I don't see anything stopping them, uh, and when, I don't think they're gonna screw around with getting close, I think this is what old Patty Mahomes, old Fat Kelsey, he's going to turn it on.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: You got all the other dudes that have stepped up.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Pacheco's back Defense is the strength of the team, so the offense will step up and match them and they will get the win, probably, I'd say 34-20.
• 3:24
Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, if you guys want to throw it, I'd say 34-20.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, if you guys want to throw it.
• 3:28
Speaker 2: You don't have to do this.
• 3:28
Speaker 2: Anybody know what the weather's going to be like?
• 3:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got a weather update.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: It's an afternoon game, so Cold.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be cold, it's going to be cold everywhere.
• 3:37
Speaker 4: I mean, we're looking at snow in Tallahassee next.
• 3:40
  Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
• 3:40
Speaker 4: All I'll ask you next week.
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: All right.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: So, Jimmy, you're the last to pick.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: Save the best for last in playoff-wise Eight and a half for Houston.
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: You're a D'Amico Ryan guy.
• 3:51
Speaker 3: I am, but what do you see here?
• 3:53
Speaker 3: I think that defense is going to cause problems for Stroud.
• 3:59
Speaker 2: Give me the Chiefs.
• 3:59
  Speaker 3: Yeah, 24-13.
• 4:01
Speaker 3: All right, they cover that.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: Eight points for eight and a half, whatever it is All right.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: So we got Justin and Mike thinking it's a little closer.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: Y'all want to throw a score in.
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: I'm thinking it's a 34.
• 4:14
Speaker 2: Sorry, justin, go ahead.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't hear any of that, so I'm glad you let them go in.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: Go ahead, mike, give me a score I got 24, 20 chiefs all right, all right, all right, let's go to the next one.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: Um, we'll get, uh and that is saturday night the commanders against the lions.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: This will be a fun matchup.
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: This is, uh.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: I mean, what a fun team theers have been to watch this season.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Some of the endings they have close games and they're really good at them.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: I mean think about some of the best endings all year.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: I think of the Commanders games.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: I mean, you have that Hail Mary at the end.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: You have the Jaden Daniels a couple of drives.
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: He's cool man.
• 5:03
Speaker 3: Exciting team with boring uniforms and stupid names.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: Right, the uniforms are the worst in the league.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: They need to redo that.
• 5:08
  Speaker 2: They're so bad.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: They're so bad I mean they should at least just keep the old ones and get rid of the Indian dude or whatever, and just put the Ws, keep the colors and that.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: But these are terrible.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: Anywho, I like jayden daniels.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: He's been, you know, really good.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: He's really cool and collective um, unlike a lot of rookie quarterbacks, but this is a good class.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: I think he's the top of it, uh.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: But he's going into the lion's den and dan campbell and the motor city freaking train, the man train, the man train.
• 5:48
Speaker 1: Motor city is hosting all throughout the playoffs.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: You saw the atmosphere against minnesota.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: The commanders are getting.
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: Let's see here.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: Last time I looked, it's up to nine commanders are getting nine.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: Jim, who you got?
• 6:06
  Speaker 3: That's high man.
• 6:06
Speaker 3: I'm going to say it's going to be a shootout.
• 6:08
  Speaker 3: 41-37 Lions.
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: Wow.
• 6:13
Speaker 3: This is going to be a great game.
• 6:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's going to be a bunch of scoring, but I don't.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: So you think Washington's covering this All right?
• 6:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, mike, who you got in this?
• 6:29
  Speaker 2: I got Detroit.
• 6:29
Speaker 2: I'm picking Detroit to win cover every spread from here on out.
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: Let's keep them, you don't?
• 6:37
Speaker 4: have to give that away let's go.
• 6:43
  Speaker 2: Let's go.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: 38 to 21, okay all right, all right, justin.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: Are you still there in the tunnel somewhere?
• 6:56
Speaker 1: Justin, all right, we lost him.
• 7:01
Speaker 1: All right, um, hold on one second.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: What do you guys think about?
• 7:09
Speaker 1: So you like the Lions big huh.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: I do.
• 7:14
Speaker 2: I'm just not a big believer in Washington for some reason, and maybe it's just.
• 7:22
Speaker 2: It is just me.
• 7:23
Speaker 2: Everybody else seems to be Big Boots.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: No, I cut him off.
• 7:31
Speaker 3: You cut them both off.
• 7:32
  Speaker 3: You're doing great.
• 7:34
Speaker 3: You're doing great, man.
• 7:36
Speaker 3: Sorry, it's one of our first shows.
• 7:42
Speaker 2: In Minnesota, so that's just the way I'm looking at him.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: Yep all right well, um, we don't know where justin is.
• 7:50
Speaker 1: Um you there, justin?
• 7:54
Speaker 1: All right well, if he comes back he'll be there.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: Uh, he probably lost signal, you know?
• 8:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right working.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, we have the big, the big checks haven't come through yet, okay, um, moving on.
• 8:14
Speaker 1: So who I have to pick?
• 8:18
Speaker 1: This one yeah, this is a.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: This is the one I've been back and forth on, and here we go, we got hello, yeah, I don't know what happened.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: All right, Good Um all right.
• 8:36
Speaker 4: Give me the commies to cover that spread right now, right now.
• 8:38
Speaker 4: It says I got.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: Justin and Justin and Mike and Justin on the phone.
• 8:42
Speaker 1: So I like it.
• 8:42
Speaker 1: It sounds like some kind of bad law firm, but um firm, but um uh, let, all right.
• 8:47
Speaker 1: So you're going commies to cover this.
• 8:51
  Speaker 4: Yeah, I, I don't know why.
• 8:53
Speaker 4: I mean nine points is just too much, man, and Jane Daniels is really good Right.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: Um, all right, so we got you all right.
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: So we got.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: You're with jimmy, mike.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: You're with the lions.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: I'm thinking with you, mike.
• 9:09
  Speaker 1: Uh, I, I I've been back and forth on this um, I, I can't.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: Nine points is a lot and the commanders have been playing well, but the lions are on a mission, man and I just don't.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: They're getting montgomery back.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: Sonic and knuckles are a team again.
• 9:24
Speaker 1: The quarterback's playing great.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: The receivers are great.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: The defense is playing back too.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: They got that linebacker back and that crowd is going to energize them.
• 9:37
  Speaker 2: It's Saturday night.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the Lions cover Late night, yeah, and I'm going to go 41-28.
• 9:46
Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be fun.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: It's just gonna be too much.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: I think the commanders will make it a good game though.
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: Uh, let's see.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: Uh, jimmy, you were you're with the 41, 37 or something.
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
• 10:01
Speaker 1: And then, uh, mike, you got the lions big.
• 10:03
Speaker 2: That was 38 to 21 yeah, and Mike, you got the Lions big.
• 10:05
  Speaker 2: I think that was 38-21.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, and then what do you got, justin?
• 10:09
  Speaker 4: I go 31-23.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: And what was your score for the previous game, which was the Texans Chiefs?
• 10:20
  Speaker 4: 28-24, Chiefs.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: All right, all right.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: 28-24, chiefs All right, all right.
• 10:25
Speaker 1: So let's go to the next game here on Sunday.
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: No-transcript who's playing first?
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: Hold on.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: I'm sorry oh yeah.
• 10:40
Speaker 4: Well, first let's go to that.
• 10:41
Speaker 4: Game is bill, yeah philly.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: Philly is hosting the rams.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: This is another big one um contract.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: They met, matched up earlier in the season.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: The eagles won, big saquon went off on the lions.
• 10:55
Speaker 1: Uh set a playoff record last week with nine sacks.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: Um verson didn't get one.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: He did have a touchdown, uh, but the whole, I mean it was just spread out, they just got it.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: They kind of they're coming at you fresh in waves.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: Um, they really did a nice job at replacing um the all-timer and it looks like these games are gonna have both these games are going to have snow.
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: This is exciting.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: So you got Philly, who looked kind of sloppy last week offensively.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: The defense, though, might be one of the hardest-hitting units going around, but you got Matt Stafford going in there.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: When the Rams are healthy, I see them competing with anybody in the league, and I'm going to stick with that.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: I think they cover, I think they win.
• 11:49
Speaker 1: Give me the Rams 28.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Give me 27 over the Eagles Late touchdown to win it Down 27-21.
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: How about that?
• 12:00
Speaker 1: All right, let's go to uh mike, who you got in this what is the actual?
• 12:07
Speaker 2: spread sorry six eagles by six yeah, eagles, six geez.
• 12:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're right to me, I think I think the eagles are gonna win, but uh, I think, man, their defense is a lot tougher than yeah.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: We'll give them credit for well they matched earlier and the Rams got ran all over.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: So that's probably what they're looking at, but six.
• 12:29
Speaker 2: Rams have kind of picked it up.
• 12:30
Speaker 2: Eagles offense isn't quite clicking.
• 12:33
  Speaker 2: I'm going to go 24 to 20.
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: Eagles here.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: So I like the Rams to cover, I'll take the Eagles All, so Rams cover I'll take the Eagles.
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: All right, gotcha.
• 12:51
Speaker 3: All right, jimmy, what you got in this 24-23 Rams.
• 12:53
Speaker 3: All right, that's my Super Bowl pick so late field goal to win it.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that.
• 12:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: I mean it's going to be.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: I'm hoping for that kind of game for the sake of the Rams.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: They need to come out and get the lead early.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: So I need Matt Stafford to come out, hook up with, give me one of those scripted plays.
• 13:09
Speaker 1: Give me that, but we'll see.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: Justin, you just finished off this.
• 13:16
Speaker 4: So who you got?
• 13:16
Speaker 4: Dude, the Rams looked so freaking good last week.
• 13:20
Speaker 4: I mean, it was hard to comprehend how goddamn good they looked.
• 13:22
Speaker 4: Yeah, and you got McVay, you got Stafford.
• 13:28
Speaker 4: The wide receivers are healthy.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, there we go.
• 13:34
Speaker 1: You're right for the upset.
• 13:37
Speaker 4: For the upset 27-24,.
• 13:39
Speaker 4: I like a last-second field goal again, All right.
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: I like it.
• 13:42
Speaker 2: All three of you on the Rams to win.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: We're all on the Rams to cover, so the Eagles will probably win.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: I don't know, though, the way they were playing at the end of the game.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: I didn't like, and just Stafford, and just the way I've said it all year Rams when they're healthy, but they haven't been healthy.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: You know what's the money line.
• 14:05
Speaker 2: What's the money line for you guys?
• 14:07
Speaker 1: oh, that's a good pick right there.
• 14:08
Speaker 1: That would, might, that might be my bet um how much is it?
• 14:12
Speaker 1: Oh okay, let's see money now you get plus 225, all right, so this is the game of the week.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: This next one, uh, this might be the one of those matchups, um, for who's gonna get to play kansas city.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: You know who's gonna challenge them the most.
• 14:34
Speaker 1: This is for that matchup.
• 14:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe you're gonna have a pick them game.
• 14:41
Speaker 1: Whoever wins this game going into Kansas city?
• 14:43
Speaker 1: Probably less than three, but this game is actually Buffalo getting one at home in the playoffs, which is unheard of Baltimore, minus one going in to Buffalo.
• 14:59
Speaker 1: Now, these teams did face each other in the regular season in Baltimore, where the Ravens handled them easily.
• 15:05
Speaker 1: This is going to be a different story.
• 15:08
Speaker 1: We'll see, jimmy, who you got.
• 15:14
Speaker 3: Well, bill's also a Super Bowl team.
• 15:17
  Speaker 3: I got him 38-20.
• 15:19
Speaker 3: Wow, put in a convincing win.
• 15:22
Speaker 1: Wow, holy cow, wow, that's right.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Convincing win Wow, holy cow, wow, that's right, that's right.
• 15:25
Speaker 1: So what do you see?
• 15:26
Speaker 1: You're going to get to Lamar Get to Lamar.
• 15:31
Speaker 3: I think Josh Allen's going to go off, yeah, and I think they're going to.
• 15:35
Speaker 3: He's not going to be able to throw it Again.
• 15:37
Speaker 3: It's going to come down to Lamar putting it in his hands instead of just going through that tank back there.
• 15:42
Speaker 1: but yeah, man, just give me the bills that tank is back there though that's true, that tank has not been back there and that tank I believe they use it when they do all right, I see all right, so you're going bills here, convincingly the bills here.
• 15:57
Speaker 2: All right, mike, who you got in this I'm gonna take buffalo, but I don't think it's going to be that big.
• 16:03
Speaker 2: I'm thinking old, what's his name?
• 16:06
Speaker 2: This is a field goal for the wind.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: Wow, he has been retired.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: Oh wow, that's a that that would be.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: You know that would be so.
• 16:16
Speaker 2: It's going to be tough conditions.
• 16:18
Speaker 2: He's going to get about a 48 yard.
• 16:20
Speaker 1: You got the bills went in by like two.
• 16:21
Speaker 1: Those he's gonna get about a 48 yard.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: So you got the Bills winning by like 2.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: Bills by 1 or 2, yeah, alright, well, they're plus 1.
• 16:26
Speaker 1: So yeah, alright, justin, who you got?
• 16:31
Speaker 4: you know, I've been on the Bills all season.
• 16:33
Speaker 4: Man, it's in Buffalo, it's in Buffalo nose a flowers and nobody I mean nobody circles the wagons like the buffalo bills.
• 16:49
Speaker 1: I'm with jimmy 41, 21 yeah, yeah you're not on the uh lamar train never, have been.
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: I know I know I I'm actually Never have been.
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: I know I know I'm actually I've been full circle.
• 17:03
Speaker 1: I'm actually rooting for him now.
• 17:05
Speaker 1: I just like his, I like his way.
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: He's a footballer Now.
• 17:09
Speaker 1: I know what you, I know what I have all the respect for your take, though, and it's fair, and, but I think having that tank in the backfield is not only the difference.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: It's going to allow lamar not to play with the, I would say, pressure that he had in previous post seasons.
• 17:31
Speaker 1: This one's going to have you a tank where you can just hand this ball off and that's what they should do and then that way, you can use lamar as a weapon.
• 17:38
Speaker 1: That he is where he can run or throw.
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: He still he.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: He went over all-time leading rushing yards, so you have this weapon with.

• 24:01
Speaker 1: No, it really would up the the atmosphere and that means a lot now.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: So you know, you have an option to war, fit your seat or something like that, and so it's all digital.
• 24:11
Speaker 1: So just where it makes the environment better.
• 24:13
Speaker 1: I wouldn't necessarily you're not stealing anybody's seats or whatnot but you know, if I was a season ticket holder, I would want somebody screaming in my seats if I couldn't be there myself.
• 24:23
Speaker 1: That's just me, but that's just the thought I had sitting there in the season ticket holder section, where a lot of seats go to firms and corporations and stuff.
• 24:32
  Speaker 1: So I don't know.
• 24:34
  Speaker 1: But that's just.
