• 0:26
Speaker 1: Howdy along the bike out of this world, Mars King Conrad DeLong.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: We always need more.
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: Jeff Seekin.
• 0:34
Speaker 1: I'm Don Armstrong, glad you could join us on this rainy, cool, ugly, yes, kind of weekend.
• 0:41
Speaker 1: You know we have not had a weekend like this, I don't think, since the beginning of the year, and here we are in November.
• 0:49
Speaker 3: I almost came to work today in my jammies.
• 0:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, the ones with your flannel jammies, with the ones with the shoes in them.
• 0:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, and a little flap in the back.
• 0:58
Speaker 3: Flap in the back, Well, I wear mine in the front.
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: You would.
• 1:02
Speaker 1: So we don't have a guest this hour, but you're going to be entertained anyway.
• 1:07
Speaker 3: We're going to make sure of it.
• 1:09
Speaker 1: So we have this thing that we've gotten into by default.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: I think Hemmings puts out a thing on Mondays called the sold cars roundup and you know you can sell your car on Hemmings.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: Most of some of them are custom, some of them are just regular everyday cars and other ones are classics, I mean all over the board.
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: You can buy a Model T there, a Model A.
• 1:34
Speaker 1: You can buy a 1968 AMC AMX Ooh, cool car.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: That would be the first one, a 1968 model that we're going to go with today.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: And these are all bid prices and some of them sell, some of them don't.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: The ones that we're going to deal with are the ones that sold.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: So what's sold online at Hemmingscom was a 1968 AMC AMX.
• 2:03
Speaker 1: Now, this was the hot rod version from American Motors.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: It didn't have a back seat.
• 2:11
Speaker 4: It was a Challenger, but it was shortened wheelbase.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: So what would your guess be, mr Mars, of how much the 1968 AMC AMX went for?
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Now, before you give us your figure, let me explain to everybody that we don't know the condition of the car.
• 2:29
Speaker 4: We don't know if this is a 390 GO package.
• 2:31
Speaker 4: We don't know any of that.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: We don't know the details on it.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: I can tell you that it looks kind of like maroonish with some white stripes on it, and that's pretty much about it.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: It looks like it has factory wheels on it, but we don't know, it may be completely rusted underneath it.
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: I don't know that.
• 2:47
Speaker 1: So we just this is just a fun thing that we do so.
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: 68 AMC, amx.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: Mr Mars, what would you say?
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: That went 32,000?
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: .
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: Mars says 32.
• 2:56
Speaker 4: I was going to go 32.
• 2:58
  Speaker 4: So I'll go 35.
• 2:59
  Speaker 4: I'll go 35 01.
• 3:07
Speaker 3: Well all of you, probably six, grand right, 26,000.
• 3:13
  Speaker 3: Oh, 50.
• 3:14
  Speaker 4: Really, wow.
• 3:15
Speaker 4: Really less than way, less than I'd have thought Me too, Actually, because AMX to me is a pretty collectible car.
• 3:23
Speaker 1: It is because they didn't make that many of them in the overall scheme of things, and I didn't even know until I was an adult that the thing only had two seats in it.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: Here you go.
• 3:32
Speaker 1: Here's one for Jeff.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: All right, jeff's Cadillac guy.
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: Here is a 1958 Cadillac 62.

• 3:51
Speaker 1: It's a three zip code car in two door fashion and it sold for Mr Mars.
• 3:57
Speaker 1: What would you guess be for a 58 Cadillac 62?
• 4:04
  Speaker 5: 21,000.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: You need to move that microphone a little bit closer.
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: I've got 25.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: Okay so, 40 grand, 40 grand.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Well, conrad's going to win this one.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: It sold for 27,825 and it looks to append.

• 4:21
Speaker 1: White with wide whites on it.
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: It is beautiful.
• 4:25
Speaker 4: And you got to remember in you know, as GM was building cars, you know that 55 through 57s was all kind of common.
• 4:34
Speaker 4: The 58 year model of all of the GM brands was a one year only car and quad headlights, and they were massive, absolutely massive.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, the steel bill alone was yeah.
• 4:48
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: The chrome bill you know that chrome and they stamped him in the plant.

• 5:13
Speaker 1: What year did Cadillac?
• 5:14

• 5:15
  Speaker 1: ?
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: You have a 10.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: So this is a 2008 Cadillac CTS.
• 5:19
  Speaker 3: No 13 months and 13.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: Sorry, 2008 Cadillac CTS.
• 5:23

• 5:47
Speaker 4: We're going to need a 7500 and Mars would have won.
• 5:50
  Speaker 4: He was 7500.
• 5:51
Speaker 4: Okay, well, whatever the case may, be 2000 Celine Mustang.
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: It's called an S 281 for whatever reason, but it's a 2000 model, the 281 is.

• 6:14
  Speaker 4: It's a Randy Weldon car.
• 6:15
  Speaker 4: You missed one.
• 6:15
Speaker 1: So, mars, what would your guess be on a 2000 Steve Celine S 281 Mustang?
• 6:23
Speaker 5: I'm going to go.
• 6:24
  Speaker 5: 17,000 Conrad, I'll go 20, 22.
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: Conrad wins again.

Speaker 1: It's a sharp looking truck, black, got a custom grill on it.
• 6:48
Speaker 1: Looks like it's got, you know, wheel trim rings on it.
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: It's a single cab, I think that's all they made.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: Is there a in?
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: the back.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: Short bed or long bed?
• 6:57
Speaker 1: It looks like a short bed.
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: 87 Chevy C 10.
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: How much.
• 7:02
Speaker 5: Those things are pretty popular right now for some reason.
• 7:04
Speaker 5: What do you think it sold for?
• 7:06
Speaker 4: Again we don't know the condition 18,000.
• 7:08
Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I'll go.
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: 22 22, jeff 19 12,600 dollars.
• 7:14
Speaker 1: Mars wins Well, close, but it's over.
• 7:18
Speaker 3: Okay, it's all right.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: Now I don't know which one, I'll go ahead and go ahead and take this one.
• 7:25
Speaker 1: This is right up my alley.
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: A 1956 GMC city bus.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: Oh 56 GMC city bus.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: Now it looks like it was pulled out of the junkyard.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: It's straight, but it does have some patina on it.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: Looks like it hasn't been touched.
• 7:47
Speaker 4: You know, what patina is right.
• 7:49
Speaker 4: It's rust made sound pretty.
• 7:53
Speaker 1: So it's red and white, it looks good.
• 7:56
Speaker 1: I mean, what city?
• 7:57
Speaker 1: It doesn't say what city?
• 8:00
Speaker 3: Chicago got a lot of holes in it.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: No, it's not a northern bus because it would be all rusted up bad.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: 56 GMC city bus.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: How much did this include the turbo?
• 8:11
Speaker 5: No, any of that I'm going to go for I'm going to go for grand, oh, 4500.
• 8:20
  Speaker 3: $8000.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: Now I don't know if it runs or not, but they got the weeds cut down around it so it might they're going to pull it out.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: Here we go, jeff.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: No, I think this would be Conrad.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: Well, no, Jeff would win because 5500.
• 8:35
Speaker 4: It's going to cost you $1000 to tow it somewhere, so you only net 4500.
• 8:42
Speaker 1: It might take an 18-wheeler flatbed to get the thing out of there.
• 8:45
  Speaker 2: Here's one 1934 Holden.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: I did not know that Holden made a pickup truck Holden.
• 8:53
Speaker 4: Holden, is it Australian?
• 8:54
  Speaker 3: Not a.
• 8:54
Speaker 4: Ute A real pickup truck.
• 8:55
  Speaker 4: Is that an?
• 8:56
  Speaker 3: Australian vehicle yeah.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: Yes, but no, it's a real pickup truck with fenders on it A 1934.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: Well, you know what that 34-ish looks like.
• 9:06
Speaker 5: I'll even show it to you I didn't even go to the Air Carps in Australia in 34.
• 9:09
  Speaker 5: There you go.
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: Cool.
• 9:11
  Speaker 3: It is nice.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: It's orange and black Halloween paint scheme there, all right.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: So a 1934 Holden pickup truck.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: What do you think that that would sell for?
• 9:21
Speaker 1: It looks like it's been restored.
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: It's really nice.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, wire wheels on it, white, whites.
• 9:26
  Speaker 5: I'd probably say 30.
• 9:27
Speaker 5: 30, okay, conrad, conrad got 35.
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: Really.
• 9:31
  Speaker 3: I'm going to go 17.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Jeff is going to be the winner, even though he's over 16275.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: I would buy that.
• 9:39
Speaker 5: I forget, but I don't know where you get that to get it into the country.
• 9:42
Speaker 1: Well, it's here in the country, obviously, if it's on Hemmings.
• 9:45
Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm saying, though, to get it in, somebody had to somebody mail it over.
• 9:49
Speaker 4: All right In pieces, piece by piece.
• 9:51
Speaker 4: Speaking of Ford, slowly I turn pickup.
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: Try, that's it A 1951 Ford F3.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: Looks like it's been fully restored.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: 51 Ford F3 stock Okay, so that would have probably a straight six in it, my guess, okay 51 Ford F3 and F3.
• 10:14
  Speaker 5: I don't know.
• 10:15
Speaker 5: It's going to be a one ton, huh Well, I don't know.
• 10:18
Speaker 1: It looks like a regular F1, which is a half ton pickup truck.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: So, at any rate, what would you think that that's sold for?
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: Look stock.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: It looks like it's been refurbed 14,000, maybe 14.
• 10:31
  Speaker 5: I'm going to go 20.
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: 20, 12.
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: 12.
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: 15, 750.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: I think that that's pretty good.
• 10:37
Speaker 1: See, I'd buy something like that.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: Mars wins again Mars.
• 10:40
Speaker 4: Europe by three Wow.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: Okay, this is a really cool car caught my attention.
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: It's a 1971 Ford LTD convertible.
• 10:52
Speaker 3: Oh no, police package or anything, I don't know.
• 10:54
  Speaker 5: Not a convertible.
• 10:57
  Speaker 4: Seven liter.
• 11:00
Speaker 3: He's going to come over there and slap somebody.
• 11:02
Speaker 5: Seven liters in the back seat.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: Seven liters of booze?
• 11:06
Speaker 1: All right, yeah, come on Mars.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: What year is it?
• 11:09

• 11:11
  Speaker 5: LTD.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: It looks like it's been restored.
• 11:14
Speaker 1: At least it's got a nice.
• 11:15
  Speaker 5: I'm going to go $6,500.
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: $6,500.
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: Mr 75.
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: 75.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: Four grand, four grand.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: Conrad hit it right on the nose.
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: Oh boy, $7,500.
• 11:25
Speaker 3: Just because it's a white convertible.
• 11:27
Speaker 3: He's been in the back of those many times, he knows.
• 11:30
Speaker 4: Yeah, with my handcuffed behind me Okay.
• 11:34
Speaker 1: Here are a couple of model.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
• 11:36
Speaker 4: Pulling things out of my pocket to drop under the seat.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: One is a 1929 Ford model, a beautiful car, convertible.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: It looks like it's been fully.
• 11:48
Speaker 1: Both of these cars look like they've been fully restored.
• 11:50
Speaker 1: Now what would you expect?
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: A 1929 Ford model a?
• 11:54
Speaker 1: Just restored to original or looks at both of these.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: No, both of these look like their originals.
• 12:03
  Speaker 5: I'm going to go 16,012.
• 12:06
  Speaker 5: 10.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: Well, you all are close.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: 14,963 is what it sold for.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: I'll take that one, and part of the reason that I was interested in this because it just shows that for not a whole lot of money you could get in the whatever car class that you wanted to get in, and if you think it's cool, it's even better because you're spending the money on something you want.
• 12:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, the next one is a 31 model a.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: It too is a convertible.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: It's got beige wheels, wide whites.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: It shows really nice.
• 12:43
Speaker 1: Well, it's a two tone, so it's a guy like a dark blue with black fenders.
• 12:49
  Speaker 4: I'll still say 12, 12 Mars yeah.
• 12:52
Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a couple years younger, I'm gonna say 1517.
• 12:57
  Speaker 5: Yeah 1950.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: Oh, jeffrey, yeah, and you know if you're looking for a present for your wife or your husband or girlfriend, that would be cool.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: And so with this one, a 1983 Lincoln MK six, which is the big sedan, almost looks like a you know a livery.
• 13:25
Speaker 1: Okay, it's, it's blue, it's got a blue vinyl top on it, white wall tires, nice hubcaps on it.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: It looks brand new.
• 13:33
Speaker 4: This is that generation, when they were doing like the Cartier edition.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't know about that.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: But anyway, 1983 Lincoln MK six.
• 13:42
Speaker 1: What would you say that that would bring Mr Mars?
• 13:44
  Speaker 1: 14,006 grand 12.
• 13:47
Speaker 1: Well, you're close, sold for $9,000.
• 13:52
Speaker 1: No, honey, I can't put it under the Christmas tree, but it is in the driveway.
• 13:58

• 14:08
Speaker 1: No, here's the one for her A 1962 Ford Galaxy 500.
• 14:15
  Speaker 3: Oh man 62.
• 14:16
  Speaker 1: Galaxy 500.
• 14:18
Speaker 1: Two door it is a four door.
• 14:21
Speaker 1: I get the picture.
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: It's a.
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: It's a four door.
• 14:25
Speaker 5: I know it's red in color Okay.
• 14:28
  Speaker 5: That's all.
• 14:29
Speaker 1: I know it could have a you know a two barrel V eight in it.
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: It just I don't know.
• 14:34
Speaker 5: It looks stock, it's going to be a V eight.

• 14:55
Speaker 1: That's the soul price.
• 14:56
Speaker 1: It's got to be a full restoration out.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: I don't know who would want to.
• 14:59
Speaker 4: Well, even beyond that, it's got to have you know they were offered with a 390, but they were also offered with a 427 in 62.
• 15:09
Speaker 4: Not in a four door, not right?
• 15:11
Speaker 5: Yeah, probably true, no that to be a 90 was some museum or something was after that, yeah, so collection.
• 15:18
