- 0:49Speaker 2: Look?
- 0:50Speaker 5: Not just yet, man, Oh really, not just yet. Gonna
- 0:52Speaker 5: save it for a few more weeks yet, man. You know,
- 0:55Speaker 5: I think there is something to sort of being in
- 0:58Speaker 5: the CBD and wandering around with your off. Yes, I
- 1:01Speaker 5: think that's pretty cool. All the cool kids doing that
- 1:04Speaker 5: keys thanks for Chicken with me Fellers. Yes they are
- 1:08Speaker 5: yeah cool all right, So yeah, I am going to
- 1:10Speaker 5: get stagging into that for sure.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and to be fair to you, you've still got
- 1:14Speaker 2: your Fiji tens that are happening there, So.
- 1:16Speaker 4: I'm not for.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It's not a Fiji that you're looking pale or anything.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You're looking fantastic. I just thought you'd be in whipping
- 1:24Speaker 2: the top off.
- 1:25Speaker 5: My spray ten were off ages ago. This is my
- 1:27Speaker 5: Fiji ten and slowly my my skin is peeling off.
- 1:31Speaker 5: You know, your skin just comes off. You just falls
- 1:33Speaker 5: off yourself. Yeah, it's a bastard actually, like a snake
- 1:37Speaker 5: snake skin, yeah, sort of more chips away rather than
- 1:41Speaker 5: one big sleeve of skin. Do you do a whole
- 1:44Speaker 5: sleeve do you? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 3: So I'll hop out of bed like three or four
- 1:47Speaker 3: times a year, especially after summer, and there'll just be
- 1:50Speaker 3: a perfect sort of coffee. Yeah, I'll have like yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 3: and I'll have new like slim.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Yeah. Say what it is? Is it the secret?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Now?
- 2:00Speaker 5: And then I think, jeez, old keys is looking good.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I remember with fondness as a young fella pealing the
- 2:05Speaker 2: old dead skin off, you know, after a good proper burn.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Those were the days, fellows.
- 2:10Speaker 2: How are you going? By the way, Keysy had a
- 2:12Speaker 2: game of golf today? Do you have great games. Did you?
- 2:14Speaker 3: We had a great timemy and old Maniah from the
- 2:16Speaker 3: Breakfast Show went out there, beautiful day up here in Auckland. Jason,
- 2:19Speaker 3: I hate how you just focus on Auckland.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Mate.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Obviously this is a nationwide show, so I hope it's
- 2:25Speaker 3: great where you are in New Zealand.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Absolutely, I thought I had a fantastic Hey, can I
- 2:30Speaker 5: ask you keys because Jace was going to be ten
- 2:32Speaker 5: dollars that you would shoot under one hundred because last
- 2:34Speaker 5: time you shot about one hundred and eighty and Ady
- 2:38Speaker 5: j was so sure that you would shoot under one hundred.
- 2:40Speaker 5: After I was yeah, how'd you go? No? I didn't
- 2:42Speaker 5: Yeah I didn't think so.
- 2:45Speaker 4: So so who do I have a ten?
- 2:46Speaker 5: You've had a shock at the end. You just keep it, Jason, Man.
- 2:49Speaker 4: But you played better than last time.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Also, it's not about you know, being good at or
- 2:53Speaker 3: bad at golf. It's about getting out there doing some
- 2:55Speaker 3: exercise and having good fun with a good company.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Good on you, mate. Hey Magie, what's on the show today? Mate?
- 3:04Speaker 5: What's happening on the Big show with Old Mogus? Well,
- 3:07Speaker 5: I'm glad you have twenty jes as well as the
- 3:09Speaker 5: usual opportunities to enter some of the greatest competitions on
- 3:12Speaker 5: the face of the earth. And there'll also be a
- 3:14Speaker 5: little bit of a chat about you. Jason. Okay, you're
- 3:17Speaker 5: going to be requiring a little bit of counseling, mate,
- 3:20Speaker 5: because you've got an issue with your appearent. So we're
- 3:23Speaker 5: going to need all the help of the listeners out there.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Three for eight three eight hundred. Hodaki Kesey's wife has
- 3:28Speaker 5: played a hilarious prank on in which I'm very very
- 3:31Speaker 5: excited about. But first up today in the big Pile,
- 3:35Speaker 5: we'll be running. We'll be talking about fireworks. Some of
- 3:38Speaker 5: our politicians say it's time to get rid of it.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Bend the bastards, they're saying, keezy yeah. And we'll be
- 3:44Speaker 5: talking to the audience about that as well. Feels what
- 3:46Speaker 5: do you think on that?
- 3:47Speaker 3: By the way, gives a text three three or call
- 3:49Speaker 3: us on eight hundred Hadarchy fifty dollars Reburgerouchers up for grabs.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Is the here the Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 3:57Speaker 1: on Radio Hodarchy.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Definitelyp it there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 4:01Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 4:06Speaker 2: But before we get into the big pole, fellas, I've
- 4:08Speaker 2: had a bit of a bone to.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Pick, Okay, I got a bowl a bit.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Now, I don't know when it starts. It's been happening
- 4:17Speaker 2: the last couple of times that we've done the Big
- 4:19Speaker 2: Pole where we've been asking the audience to comment about
- 4:23Speaker 2: the Big Pole before we've even started the big Pole.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And I feel it's pre ejaculative, right, I feel like
- 4:30Speaker 2: we should be asking people about the Big Pole once
- 4:33Speaker 2: we've discussed the Big Pole, you don't think, Instead, we're
- 4:36Speaker 2: asking them before we've even really got into it what
- 4:39Speaker 2: they think about our big Pole.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Well, it's so that you know, when we launch into
- 4:42Speaker 3: the big Pole proper, there's a few comments from the
- 4:44Speaker 3: audience that we can work into that first, you know.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Can I also make the point that it doesn't matter
- 4:50Speaker 5: when we ask them for their opinion. We don't care
- 4:52Speaker 5: what their opinion is any thank you? Yeah, thank you.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Do you want to get into it now?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Do you want to do a big pole on whether
- 4:57Speaker 3: we ask them about the Big Pole before we start
- 4:59Speaker 3: the big Pole?
- 5:00Speaker 4: No, we'll just see the regular big pole Keys.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Pole.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, Well it was guy Fawks last night wasn't
- 5:16Speaker 2: and we wanted to get your views on it.
- 5:20Speaker 5: We did, and so today's big pole is private sale
- 5:25Speaker 5: of fireworks to New Zealanders. Yes or no? Yes or no?
- 5:30Speaker 5: So essentially, do we want to move forward with only
- 5:33Speaker 5: having public displays of fireworks or are we happy to
- 5:37Speaker 5: continue having some of the you know, the the weirdest, freakiest,
- 5:43Speaker 5: most unstable boys. Thank you very much being in control
- 5:48Speaker 5: of what are essentially explosives that can be detonated at
- 5:51Speaker 5: any time, day or night. Now there's a movement by
- 5:54Speaker 5: some politicians. They said enough is enough and going into
- 5:58Speaker 5: the next election it's going to be conditional for them
- 6:01Speaker 5: that if they get into government, fireworks are gone. So
- 6:05Speaker 5: it's gone right to the top the AKIZI. Everybody's talking
- 6:08Speaker 5: about it, But for me personally, I was out of
- 6:11Speaker 5: the play last night and then I got home at
- 6:12Speaker 5: about nine point thirty. There was practically zero fireworks anywhere
- 6:17Speaker 5: in my neighborhood. Yeah, and I got home at about
- 6:19Speaker 5: nine thirty.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Can I just say that's because you live in a
- 6:22Speaker 3: rather affluent suburb of Auckland out west. Where Hardy Jay
- 6:26Speaker 3: and I were, it was like a war zone.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Hey, people know how to party where I live there,
- 6:30Speaker 5: I don't worry about it to they, Yes, with respect, if.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I can put in my two cents, Fells, I am
- 6:38Speaker 2: so over.
- 6:39Speaker 4: The kill joys out there. You know what I'm saying.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Oh, don't have fun anymore in New Zealand. Let's just
- 6:47Speaker 2: have a public display and you can all come along
- 6:50Speaker 2: with your picnic baskets. Yady, yady, yady, Let people have
- 6:54Speaker 2: their fun.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Says for the previous four years of the show, when
- 6:58Speaker 5: you had a dog, you were screen I mean out
- 7:00Speaker 5: for the fireworks we band because your dog was off
- 7:02Speaker 5: its head and would run around in circles, spread through
- 7:05Speaker 5: the house, jump on your bed and take a steamer.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Every time guy Fawks came along, you would be stressed
- 7:10Speaker 5: out from a sort of a weak either side of
- 7:13Speaker 5: guy Fawks as everyone in your neighborhood continued to let
- 7:15Speaker 5: them off. And now that your dog has passed away
- 7:18Speaker 5: ri ip route, you've changed your tune.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'll be honest with you, Moggi, I don't recall that
- 7:25Speaker 2: at all. I've always been a huge proponent of guy Fawks.
- 7:32Speaker 4: But Keys, he is right.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I've got to say out West, it's carnage, yeah and
- 7:37Speaker 2: true story. Last night, my wife was at a play
- 7:39Speaker 2: that you were at their mogi. My daughter had gone
- 7:42Speaker 2: to a guy Fawks party and as you know, we've
- 7:44Speaker 2: got we've adopted little Jizz.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Yes, oh you can't.
- 7:47Speaker 2: And I've got to be honest with you. I've got
- 7:49Speaker 2: a fear amnut of affection for the little wee thing.
- 7:53Speaker 2: And last night it suddenly went, Oh my god, where's Jiz.
- 7:56Speaker 2: She's freaking out because he's all these fireworks going out,
- 7:59Speaker 2: And without.
- 7:59Speaker 4: A word of a lie, I went up to my backyard.
- 8:02Speaker 2: She was sitting very calmly on the grass, steering up
- 8:06Speaker 2: at the sky, having a ball of a time. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: think she was off her head on something.
- 8:11Speaker 5: To your profile works because your cat loves them.
- 8:13Speaker 2: She loves them, Yeah, and the kiwis love them.
- 8:17Speaker 5: The thing is right, they're loud and they're annoying, but
- 8:19Speaker 5: they're also just not that good anymore. You can't buy
- 8:21Speaker 5: any of the ones. They suck.
- 8:23Speaker 3: And so last night, admittedly out west, it went until
- 8:26Speaker 3: about midnight, and so looking out the window and I was, oh,
- 8:29Speaker 3: here we go, and oh.
- 8:31Speaker 5: That was ship. Yeah what about this one? Oh it's
- 8:33Speaker 5: loud and it's bad, and the really the display ones
- 8:37Speaker 5: are out the game, but the ones that you can
- 8:40Speaker 5: buy just seemed to be really really loud. It's just
- 8:44Speaker 5: a really really loud bang. Yeah, that's a sound thing.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that was still as good as they
- 8:51Speaker 5: used to be my day. Back in my my day,
- 8:54Speaker 5: I got hit in the eye with the skyrocket, so
- 8:55Speaker 5: it wasn't good that good back in my day either.
- 8:57Speaker 5: And you're you're blinding that eye blind. You're pro them? Yeah, yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 5: I love them, yeah yeah yeah, three four eight three,
- 9:04Speaker 5: let us know your opinion.
- 9:05Speaker 3: By the way, fifty dollars Reburger vouchers up for grabs.
- 9:08Speaker 1: In the meantime, Here's whole, the Whole Arching Big Show
- 9:13Speaker 1: with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in week days at
- 9:16Speaker 1: four on Radio hod.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Aches Smashing Pumpkins. Here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 9:20Speaker 2: This Suesday afternoon. The time is twenty eight minutes past
- 9:24Speaker 2: four o'clock.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Fellas.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Someone's been bugging me, yes, bugging you know how after
- 9:31Speaker 3: dinner every night, when it's daylight saving, my wife and
- 9:34Speaker 3: I go for a walk to aid with digestion.
- 9:38Speaker 5: So we were doing that last night.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And this is something that I've been thinking about for
- 9:40Speaker 3: a week while we walk around our block, it's probably
- 9:43Speaker 3: like three kilometers or something to get around this little
- 9:46Speaker 3: loop we do. Yeah, well how long is your block?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Eighteen?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Little legend? What an alpha dog.
- 9:55Speaker 3: So we're walking around and I would say seventy five
- 9:58Speaker 3: percent of people that you walk ba so we're on
- 10:00Speaker 3: there after dinner walk as well. We'll look you in
- 10:02Speaker 3: the eye and either raise the old eyebrows and just
- 10:05Speaker 3: say good or hello. But the other twenty five percent
- 10:08Speaker 3: steers straight ahead and you're walking past one another, there's
- 10:12Speaker 3: like ten centimeters in between you, and they walk straight ahead,
- 10:15Speaker 3: either hid down or just looking straight as if you
- 10:17Speaker 3: don't exist and don't say good aye.
- 10:20Speaker 5: And I'm a real like, hey man, how are you going?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Like?
- 10:22Speaker 5: Get amen, get a community feeling. I like saying hi
- 10:26Speaker 5: to everyone.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Well, it's really interesting you mentioned this because I think
- 10:28Speaker 2: I put this in the chat a little while ago
- 10:30Speaker 2: because it gets deep inside my goat as well, because
- 10:33Speaker 2: I'm doing a.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Lot of walking at the moment maybe and to the.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Extent, like when I see people walking towards me morning,
- 10:40Speaker 2: you know how you going?
- 10:41Speaker 5: Will you wait for them to look at you first?
- 10:43Speaker 5: Because I'll wait.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I'll wait for them to look at me, and I'll
- 10:46Speaker 2: go morning or hello.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Yeah, And you're right.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Generally the majority will go morning or to get a
- 10:51Speaker 2: and some of them might be quite biggrudging. I might
- 10:54Speaker 2: be like morning, Well, you know, I don't really want
- 10:56Speaker 2: to deal with you, but yes, morning, And there'll be
- 10:59Speaker 2: about twenty five percent that just walks straight past you.
- 11:02Speaker 4: And my wife actually said to me.
- 11:04Speaker 2: The other day when we were doing a walk, I
- 11:07Speaker 2: never realized you were such a perky little fellow because
- 11:10Speaker 2: I make a point of saying hello to people, and.
- 11:12Speaker 5: It certainly goes against everything that I know about you.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. It's kind of an aberration in terms of
- 11:18Speaker 2: who I am as a person. But that's what like,
- 11:21Speaker 2: I do acknowledge people when I'm walking past them, you know,
- 11:23Speaker 2: and it's weird when you don't get a response. It
- 11:26Speaker 2: feels like a personal insult.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, I mean I can sort of see both
- 11:31Speaker 5: sides of it as well, because oftentimes you'll see people
- 11:33Speaker 5: and they've got the air but headphones on or something
- 11:37Speaker 5: like that, and that kind of makes sense as well.
- 11:39Speaker 5: And then other times you don't want to get how
- 11:41Speaker 5: many times have you seen goodad to somebody? And you
- 11:43Speaker 5: end up getting bogged down on some kind of freak chat.
- 11:46Speaker 5: You know, they're weird human beings. You get pinned down. Now,
- 11:49Speaker 5: generally it's not on a walk. You have to be
- 11:50Speaker 5: doing something pretty wrong. But personally, if somebody says hello
- 11:54Speaker 5: to me, I'll say hello back. Yes, But I can
- 11:56Speaker 5: see how the two of you walking around. You know
- 11:58Speaker 5: what you guys refer to as the wild West or
- 12:01Speaker 5: ship down or hell on Earth out west Auckland there,
- 12:05Speaker 5: that's how you refer to it off here. I'm not
- 12:07Speaker 5: surprised that people don't want to talk to you out
- 12:09Speaker 5: there because they're scared for their lives from what I
- 12:11Speaker 5: can understand.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Well, can I just say too when I say going
- 12:15Speaker 2: for a walk, high power walk, right, so it's she's
- 12:18Speaker 2: not a slow pace, so you look like you're on meth. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 2: maybe let's just say I've got a very vigorous walk going.
- 12:26Speaker 5: I can just imagine little tiny, little Hoidy j there.
- 12:28Speaker 5: He's wearing jeans on his walk because he's hiding his leg.
- 12:31Speaker 5: He's got his turkey shirt on and his cat backwards.
- 12:34Speaker 5: He's walking as fast as he possibly can, chucking out
- 12:36Speaker 5: hellos and good days everywhere. Yeah, yeah, I can see
- 12:39Speaker 5: why people went across the road there.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Well, I the funny thing is I do about four
- 12:42Speaker 2: steps to my wife's one step because she's got quite big.
- 12:46Speaker 4: You know, she's tall, really tall.
- 12:48Speaker 3: She's almost as tall as Mike's mum. Wow, not quite kid,
- 12:52Speaker 3: she's not six foots doesn't she?
- 12:54Speaker 2: But yeah, no, it does bug me. Bugs me when
- 12:56Speaker 2: people don't acknowledge it. I've acknowledged them.
- 12:59Speaker 3: All and if you've But if you're going for a run, right,
- 13:01Speaker 3: if you're running past me, you're looking tired, you don't
- 13:02Speaker 3: want to say good ay or anything.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I get that or good you do you? But it's
- 13:06Speaker 5: the walk.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I want the eyebrow raised at least or just a
- 13:08Speaker 3: little good ay or a little smile. So I just
- 13:10Speaker 3: I just don't like it when people don't do that.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Maybe it's a me thing.
- 13:13Speaker 5: I don't know. Yeah, you should stop them, Yeah, hey,
- 13:16Speaker 5: just say hey, I'm just wondering. I just see a good idea.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Then you didn't say you didn't say anything back, just
- 13:20Speaker 5: wondering what the gats is.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Well, the thing is, mooky, I won't say gooday until
- 13:24Speaker 3: they've looked up and made eye contact with me. Right,
- 13:25Speaker 3: So I'm sitting there waiting and then they just look
- 13:28Speaker 3: straight ahead.
- 13:28Speaker 5: And keep it down.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Hang on a second, cause you're sitting or you're walking.
- 13:32Speaker 3: No, no, no, there's a turn of phrase. I'm walking obviously,
- 13:35Speaker 3: don't stop, sit down and wait for them to acknowledge.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yeah, you're raised eyebrow.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Yeah no, that's not how I operate it all. What
- 13:42Speaker 3: do you think he's it on three four eight three?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:44Speaker 4: Good is it?
- 13:46Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 13:49Speaker 1: tune in four.
- 13:51Speaker 4: On Radio Hoky Pool.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday
- 13:57Speaker 2: afternoon the time for forty one.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Sorry, this December twelfth, we're going to be doing. We're
- 14:04Speaker 3: going to be involved with Chasing the Fox, brought to
- 14:06Speaker 3: you by a Minucre Fuel, which of course as led
- 14:08Speaker 3: by Ryan Fox and a whole host of famous people
- 14:11Speaker 3: trying to beat him at golf. Basically were there last year.
- 14:13Speaker 3: It was massive and if you came for tickets Chasing
- 14:16Speaker 3: the Fox dot com. However, if you would like to
- 14:18Speaker 3: win four tickets for you and three of your mates
- 14:21Speaker 3: to be in the Fox Club, which is the special
- 14:23Speaker 3: area with bar access and a raised area overlooking the
- 14:26Speaker 3: final whole great place to be. I was there last
- 14:28Speaker 3: year at a great time. Then here to Hoodaki dot
- 14:30Speaker 3: co dot Zigget yourself in the drawer and I'll see
- 14:33Speaker 3: you there.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Fellas, I think I might be losing my mind. Not
- 14:37Speaker 5: unlike you, Hordy Jay. You were a bit concerned about
- 14:40Speaker 5: it a couple of days ago. But I've found myself
- 14:42Speaker 5: been a little bit absent minded.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 5: Wow. For example, today I was at my office. I
- 14:49Speaker 5: walked out to the car and went to get into
- 14:51Speaker 5: the car, and I realized I was carrying a glass
- 14:53Speaker 5: of water. A glass of water. Did you want to
- 14:57Speaker 5: drink it in the car or no? Okay, so I
- 14:59Speaker 5: must have. My old brain was like, oh, I'm still thirsty.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I'm going to take the car. So they had to
- 15:04Speaker 5: walk all the way back to the office and drop
- 15:05Speaker 5: that back in there. Yeah. A couple of days ago,
- 15:09Speaker 5: I walked out to the car carrying a bowl of
- 15:12Speaker 5: porridge right in the car. Well. Again, it's something that
- 15:17Speaker 5: should have been left behind, right, you know what I mean.
- 15:21Speaker 5: It is odd, and so I'm concerned that it might
- 15:23Speaker 5: be early on set dementia, right, because it's the sort
- 15:26Speaker 5: of thing that you could see an old timer doing
- 15:28Speaker 5: an addressing gown. You know, the dressing gown slightly open, Keysy, Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 5: beautiful downstairs visible to the whole neighborhood, doesn't have any
- 15:39Speaker 5: Surely that you have underpants on at this point. Now
- 15:41Speaker 5: he's so absent minded that he doesn't wear underpants. Wow, yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 5: can I like you must? Surely Jason made me feel
- 15:53Speaker 5: But hang on, you've left the house of that shirtman.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Well that's true, but that was deliberate, Keysy, was because
- 15:58Speaker 2: it looks cool.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I looked like I look like a mob boss.
- 16:02Speaker 2: What I do do quite a lot of is I
- 16:04Speaker 2: walk into a room and this sounds like I'm a madman.
- 16:09Speaker 2: And I'll be standing in the middle of the room
- 16:11Speaker 2: and I'll say to myself what am I doing?
- 16:13Speaker 5: I doing here? Why did I come in here?
- 16:15Speaker 2: What am I doing? And then I'll wander back out
- 16:18Speaker 2: again with my dressing gown open and my massive downstairs scraper.
- 16:23Speaker 5: I mean I say that, jas, I walk into a
- 16:25Speaker 5: room and say what am I doing?
- 16:28Speaker 2: What am I?
- 16:28Speaker 5: I say? I say it so often that my wife
- 16:31Speaker 5: brought me a T shirt with it written on it.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Right, Yes, what am I doing? Again?
- 16:37Speaker 4: And what I find too is I have good days
- 16:39Speaker 4: and bad days. Which is another sign.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I have days when I'm just appalling and keys, phones,
- 16:46Speaker 2: glasses are just all over the place, and I spend
- 16:50Speaker 2: half an hour searching for one of those things, yes
- 16:53Speaker 2: you know what I mean, and then I find them,
- 16:55Speaker 2: and then I say, oh, what have I done with
- 16:57Speaker 2: my and my wife is like, what are you doing?
- 17:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 17:01Speaker 3: Well the only obviously I'm a lot younger than you guys,
- 17:04Speaker 3: a lot way younger. But the only one I do,
- 17:08Speaker 3: which I've done a couple of times, which I don't
- 17:09Speaker 3: think is too bad, is when I'm watching TV and
- 17:13Speaker 3: I'll like be making a cup of tea, for example,
- 17:15Speaker 3: a cup of sleepy tea mogie which you got me onto, yes, herbal, Yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 3: and I'll be like, that's been mashing for five minutes,
- 17:24Speaker 3: now go grab that. And I'll walk up and instead
- 17:27Speaker 3: of grabbing my phone, I've grabbed the TV remote and
- 17:30Speaker 3: I'm just like and I'm like, go look at my phone.
- 17:32Speaker 3: It's just the TV remote And I'm like, oh, that's
- 17:34Speaker 3: not my phone.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Have you thought of getting checked up or anything? Seriously, really,
- 17:44Speaker 2: you're going to have a check up? That's that for you?
- 17:48Speaker 4: Kezy.
- 17:50Speaker 2: While that is really out the gate, I mean I'm.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Slightly concerned about Mogi. But now that you've said that,
- 17:57Speaker 4: I mean, I'm going keezer.
- 17:59Speaker 5: You can't look at a remote control and seeing text
- 18:01Speaker 5: messages men, or see if the TV remo. That's not
- 18:04Speaker 5: what I did, And then you're.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Probably sitting on the catch freezing because no one's replied.
- 18:10Speaker 5: I didn't sell.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that is what I did. Feel Ers tried to
- 18:15Speaker 3: call my mum on it. Vicar A ship willing to
- 18:19Speaker 3: paranormal came.
- 18:19Speaker 5: On instead.
- 18:23Speaker 1: The hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hodarks.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Indeed, Royal Blood there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 18:30Speaker 2: this Thursday afternoon.
- 18:32Speaker 4: The time is four point fifty four. Let's talk TV.
- 18:36Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Last night, Phelers. I didn't go watch any TV. I
- 18:48Speaker 5: watched her play, Remember players, Jason, I do?
- 18:51Speaker 2: I do?
- 18:51Speaker 5: You used to tread the boards a little bit, didn't you.
- 18:53Speaker 4: I did it back in the day for sure.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Oh Captain what was your name?
- 18:58Speaker 2: Uh?
- 18:59Speaker 4: Oh, Captain Andy?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Here he is? That was school.
- 19:01Speaker 5: That was school times. You're amazing, mate, Thanks man. I
- 19:05Speaker 5: went and saw The dry House at Basement Theater, directed
- 19:09Speaker 5: by Isla McLeod starring Alison Bruce, Beatrice Romilly and Zoe Crane.
- 19:16Speaker 5: It's about a couple of sisters. One of them is
- 19:18Speaker 5: chockun bastard, right, she's on the hammer all the time,
- 19:22Speaker 5: and the other sister is just trying to get her
- 19:25Speaker 5: to go into rehab. Ah. But the other the first
- 19:28Speaker 5: sister there, the chalkon bastard, she's saying, can you just
- 19:32Speaker 5: grab us a.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Few beers responsibly, just a few beers just to settle
- 19:36Speaker 3: my nerves and then then I'll go to rehab.
- 19:40Speaker 5: And the other sisters like yeah, rider. And then the
- 19:42Speaker 5: other sister there, that chalcon bustard, she is like, I'll
- 19:47Speaker 5: tell you what would really help me out. Those beers
- 19:49Speaker 5: haven't touched aside. If you could just get me a
- 19:50Speaker 5: little hip flask of vodka straighten me out, and then
- 19:55Speaker 5: it'll be all good. We're going to get onto this rehab.
- 19:57Speaker 5: So it's it's a pretty dark, pretty dark yarn. It's
- 20:02Speaker 5: from an Irish play, right, it's a pretty new play.
- 20:05Speaker 5: And the woman who's a bit of a she's a
- 20:07Speaker 5: shock and the alcoholic her daughter dies in a car
- 20:10Speaker 5: creation it's who are dealing with all of that and
- 20:12Speaker 5: then this other sister trying to put it right. A
- 20:14Speaker 5: few things reveal themselves as it goes along, really really
- 20:19Speaker 5: well acted. Elie Bruces of course allegied to the New Zealand,
- 20:23Speaker 5: and the other two actresses are amazing as well. It's
- 20:25Speaker 5: on the basement for the next couple of weeks. I'm
- 20:28Speaker 5: going to go again and see how it settles in.
- 20:30Speaker 5: But it got a stand innovation. How good stand innovation
- 20:34Speaker 5: for about an hour? Wow, that's way too long. That's
- 20:37Speaker 5: a long standing ovation. To be honest with you, I
- 20:39Speaker 5: left when the standing innovation was on. I was like
- 20:41Speaker 5: a toilet.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to do wheeze.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Controversial. What was it called again? The dry house? So
- 20:46Speaker 5: she's got to go to the dry house. Dry house
- 20:48Speaker 5: is sort of an Irish term for and how many
- 20:51Speaker 5: busies out of five? I would give it three and
- 20:53Speaker 5: a half busies out of five?
- 20:55Speaker 3: See just quickly controversial opinion. Maybe I've never seen a
- 20:58Speaker 3: good play.
- 21:00Speaker 5: I've definitely seen great plays, I would say, though, the
- 21:03Speaker 5: experience of going to a play is always for me,
- 21:06Speaker 5: it's going to be at least some bastards talking, which
- 21:08Speaker 5: I cannot or far up about that. But it's always
- 21:11Speaker 5: a four and a half start of five star experience
- 21:13Speaker 5: going and seeing all the people there sharing a live
- 21:16Speaker 5: experience like that, being in a room with people who
- 21:18Speaker 5: are completely still and quiet watching something and seeing Ardas
- 21:22Speaker 5: performing that way. I absolutely love it. Yeah, you can't.
- 21:25Speaker 5: You never know what the material is going to be.
- 21:26Speaker 5: The acting was five stars, four and a half five stars.
- 21:30Speaker 5: The material brought it down to three and a half. Yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 5: I think so.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well my wife went to the same
- 21:36Speaker 2: play last night and she enjoyed it.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Yeah. Great, So I actually saw her. She did say
- 21:42Speaker 5: hello to me? Did she mean that's true? I was
- 21:45Speaker 5: in the bathroom they have Uni six tats here, and
- 21:47Speaker 5: she walked and she saw me and then she just
- 21:49Speaker 5: did a beeline straight into one of the cubicles. Didn't
- 21:51Speaker 5: say oh, I was like that kind of be Jason's
- 21:53Speaker 5: missus and it was right and it was and I thought,
- 21:56Speaker 5: you shocking bastard.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm going to have a word with it.
- 21:59Speaker 5: And then I was outside and she came back behind
- 22:01Speaker 5: me and then she did that thing where you knocked
- 22:03Speaker 5: the knees in. Yeah, and she did that to me
- 22:06Speaker 5: and I fell over. It broke my leaf.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Oh wow, I bet you didn't give you a left
- 22:11Speaker 2: home just very quickly. I was leading lines. But in
- 22:16Speaker 2: between that, watching the T twenty cricket, I've lost my
- 22:19Speaker 2: passion for the game, feelings too much of it. It
- 22:21Speaker 2: means nothing to me. No, there's no drama to it anymore.
- 22:26Speaker 2: One buzzy, one.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Busy out of five. Yes for the cricket. Yes, how'd
- 22:30Speaker 3: your line learning go?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Pretty good? I nailed it.
- 22:33Speaker 5: You're the man, Jason? How are you coming up? After five?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Jason needs counseling and my wife plays a hilarious prank
- 22:38Speaker 3: on me.
- 22:41Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy
- 22:44Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Welcome back to your messive Bagbones. Hope your Thursday's absolutely
- 22:51Speaker 2: going off. You're listening to the Big Show, brought to
- 22:53Speaker 2: you by Reberg Gear.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Beef, Chicken, vegan and vegetarian options to rebierg. Yeah, redefining
- 22:59Speaker 3: the norm.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I kind of wish you'd play the longer ones. Keeezy,
- 23:07Speaker 2: are you just taking management advice here?
- 23:10Speaker 3: No?
- 23:10Speaker 5: I can do that for you, don't.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It's yeah, And I don't know if we've sent those
- 23:32Speaker 2: off to the Reburger fellas we have we have, and
- 23:34Speaker 2: we packaged them up, a whole lot of them in
- 23:38Speaker 2: oh fantastic.
- 23:39Speaker 3: So pugs, put them onto separate USB sticks, put them
- 23:42Speaker 3: in a shoe box filled with that packing foam stuff.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Oh yes, and then had a couriered same day delivery
- 23:47Speaker 3: over the Reburger fields. They took them all out, listened
- 23:50Speaker 3: to them all and of us are to stop. Yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 3: they hate.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Them, all right, They're my favorite things about the show
- 23:58Speaker 2: at the moment.
- 23:59Speaker 3: And they literally said, if you play another one of
- 24:00Speaker 3: those long ones, that's it. We're done here, right, I've
- 24:03Speaker 3: just done that as per Jas's request. So it's kind
- 24:05Speaker 3: of a sticky situation.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well just blame me feel as everyone always does.
- 24:10Speaker 5: All right.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Hey know, listen this. I want to talk about something
- 24:13Speaker 2: next which is slightly controversial but as a phenomenon that
- 24:16Speaker 2: I've noticed and packs of males. But in the meantime,
- 24:20Speaker 2: here's the Arctic Monkeys.
- 24:23Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Velvet Revolver there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 24:31Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes past five o'clock,
- 24:36Speaker 2: and I wanted to chat to you fellas about a
- 24:39Speaker 2: phenomenon that I've noticed and I'll be notice over a
- 24:41Speaker 2: number of years, and I wanted to get your thoughts
- 24:44Speaker 2: on them. You know, when you sort of leave school
- 24:46Speaker 2: and you've got your pecker mates, you know what I mean,
- 24:48Speaker 2: and you play sport together, you go out together, your
- 24:52Speaker 2: party together, you get on it.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Together, even flat together.
- 24:56Speaker 4: You might even flat together years.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Often the case you're flat with your mate and you're
- 25:00Speaker 2: a real posse. You know, you're a real grip, kind
- 25:03Speaker 2: of like the Big Show.
- 25:04Speaker 4: I suppose there we're like a posse. I reckon, we're
- 25:07Speaker 4: a posse.
- 25:08Speaker 5: I love a posse.
- 25:09Speaker 2: There. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue,
- 25:15Speaker 2: right one of the posse fools in love, they find
- 25:20Speaker 2: a girl or a partner or another partner, and all of
- 25:23Speaker 2: a sudden they leave the pack, and all of a
- 25:27Speaker 2: sudden you don't see them anymore. And then when you
- 25:30Speaker 2: do see them, they're kind of changed, and there you
- 25:33Speaker 2: know they're different people. They've they've come under the spell
- 25:37Speaker 2: of the person that they've fallen in love with, and
- 25:39Speaker 2: you sort of ring them up and go, hey, buddy,
- 25:41Speaker 2: what's going you want to go on? No, I'm just
- 25:44Speaker 2: we're going out to you know, blah blah blah for
- 25:47Speaker 2: dinner and stuff, and you're ah, okay, and then they
- 25:50Speaker 2: just slowly dissipate away, you know. And I wonder, you know,
- 25:54Speaker 2: these packs of friends that we have, are they just
- 25:57Speaker 2: holding patterns for us till we find a mate? And
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about you know that anything
- 26:02Speaker 2: like that's happening to the big show at the moment.
- 26:05Speaker 4: But you know what I'm talking about. Do you understand
- 26:08Speaker 4: what I'm saying here?
- 26:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I absolutely do. I had a bite and this
- 26:11Speaker 5: isn't I don't think this is strictly after you leave school.
- 26:14Speaker 5: I had at school called Tyrant. Best mates were were
- 26:17Speaker 5: thick as thieves, hang around every day after school, skateboarding
- 26:21Speaker 5: all that sort of stuff. He got a missus gone yes,
- 26:23Speaker 5: didn't see him without a word of a lie pretty
- 26:25Speaker 5: much for a year. And then they break up and
- 26:29Speaker 5: then he turns back up on your door, said hey man,
- 26:31Speaker 5: how's it go? It's like who are you? And also
- 26:34Speaker 5: the worst part you want, the worst part is those
- 26:36Speaker 5: shows up.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I bet you guys straight away you're like, oh he's
- 26:38Speaker 3: great though, we do get on really good.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I mean I was a little bit. I'd
- 26:41Speaker 5: never well, when you've never experienced it before, kesy, that's
- 26:44Speaker 5: so difference. That was the first time I was like,
- 26:45Speaker 5: can you just do that? Can you just ditch your
- 26:47Speaker 5: mates for a girl? Yeah? And of course yeah, there's
- 26:53Speaker 5: the best reason.
- 26:54Speaker 2: But I've got to be honest and put my hand
- 26:56Speaker 2: up here and say I was desperately guilty.
- 27:00Speaker 5: You reek of someone who would always do that?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yes, you know, and I had, Yes, I had a
- 27:06Speaker 2: lot of friends.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Oh wow.
- 27:08Speaker 4: I was a popular guy man.
- 27:13Speaker 5: In the world, without a doubt back in the day.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And then I met a girl and everything changed, you
- 27:20Speaker 2: know what I mean? And I never saw my mates anymore.
- 27:22Speaker 2: They were like, where are you now, man? What's going on?
- 27:27Speaker 4: J And then when I came back, they were like,
- 27:30Speaker 4: you've changed, man.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But you're say.
- 27:33Speaker 3: The thing is, though, that person's job, right, you're like
- 27:36Speaker 3: really good friends, right, But that's not their job to
- 27:39Speaker 3: be there for you the exact way they are for
- 27:41Speaker 3: all time, right. They want to find a part of
- 27:44Speaker 3: they want to have their family eventually, blah blah blah blah.
- 27:46Speaker 3: And if they do change, hopefully it's for the better.
- 27:49Speaker 3: But there's always like a bit there at the start
- 27:51Speaker 3: where they do just go missing off the face of
- 27:53Speaker 3: the earth, like my wife have been with for like
- 27:56Speaker 3: fourteen years.
- 27:58Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure I wasn't too bad, but I also
- 28:00Speaker 5: think I probably was. Of course, you just probably.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And the question sort of is when that happens and
- 28:08Speaker 2: they come crawling back to you, do you accept them
- 28:11Speaker 2: back into the fold, into the posse?
- 28:15Speaker 5: You do?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Otherwise it's you being a jealous little bee, you know
- 28:18Speaker 3: what I mean, Because at the end of the day,
- 28:19Speaker 3: I think, especially in my situation, you need time with
- 28:22Speaker 3: your partner. You also need a lot of time with
- 28:23Speaker 3: your mates too, and you can't get everything from one person.
- 28:26Speaker 5: I think so as well, And I think you do
- 28:27Speaker 5: welcome them back in, but I think you need to
- 28:29Speaker 5: sort of raise it because it is a weird thing
- 28:31Speaker 5: to completely ditch your mate. So I think for an
- 28:34Speaker 5: extended period of time, and that's what I'm doing. I'm
- 28:35Speaker 5: not doing about people that, oh you see them every
- 28:37Speaker 5: now and again. Ye, people that you just they are gone, yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 5: and then they just turned back up again. So I
- 28:42Speaker 5: hang on, man, exactly, I'm not here. Just whenever you
- 28:49Speaker 5: haven't got something better going on, you're going to come
- 28:51Speaker 5: back to me.
- 28:55Speaker 4: I've got to be honest with you.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I'm going to put my hand up here and say
- 28:58Speaker 2: I far prefer the company of my girlfriend.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Then filed my felthy mates, Have.
- 29:03Speaker 5: You got a girlfriend? What about your wife?
- 29:06Speaker 2: Shocking mat?
- 29:07Speaker 4: Damn it? Did I say that out loud?
- 29:10Speaker 5: Three? Four eight three? What's your take on this? Do
- 29:12Speaker 5: you know anyone that's done this?
- 29:13Speaker 3: You can also call us an O one hundred Hodarchy
- 29:15Speaker 3: if you like Reburg vouchers.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Here's led Zeppelin for the Darchy Big Show weekdays from
- 29:22Speaker 1: four on Radio hodarking.
- 29:24Speaker 2: She had there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show
- 29:26Speaker 2: this Tuesday afternoon.
- 29:28Speaker 4: The time is five. Did he's even?
- 29:30Speaker 5: Now?
- 29:30Speaker 2: We're off to Donners tomorrow otherwise known as Daneed and
- 29:34Speaker 2: start feels really early.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Start six fifty flight that is early.
- 29:38Speaker 3: J of course, our show starts at four in the afternoon,
- 29:41Speaker 3: so we want to make sure that we're there.
- 29:42Speaker 5: On Yeah, you've got to be there on time. That's
- 29:44Speaker 5: that's the true.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Because as we discussed yesterday, it's about a seven hour
- 29:47Speaker 3: flight down there. So of course, if you want to
- 29:50Speaker 3: come along to the dneda Craft beer and Food Festival,
- 29:52Speaker 3: there are still some tickets available Dneedenbeerfist dot co dot z.
- 29:56Speaker 3: We will bet the Emerson's Tent tomorrow broadcasting live our
- 30:00Speaker 3: radio show for till seven. Yes, so if you're listening
- 30:02Speaker 3: to us, just know that we are in Dneedin at
- 30:04Speaker 3: a beer festival, having a lovely time. We're also going
- 30:07Speaker 3: to be pouring beers. We've got our own Huducky big
- 30:11Speaker 3: show beer. It's called the Big Deduce. It's a hazy
- 30:13Speaker 3: I p a and I certainly will be getting amongst it. Yeah, man,
- 30:16Speaker 3: do you guys know how to pull beers?
- 30:19Speaker 5: Yeah? I mean when we were down in Hokitika, I
- 30:22Speaker 5: did about three hours in the in the little truck there.
- 30:25Speaker 5: Oh you did too? Yeah, man, I was having the
- 30:26Speaker 5: smallest pub in the land. I think they call it
- 30:28Speaker 5: something on those ones anyway, So yeah, I was absolutely
- 30:31Speaker 5: dominating in the achez. Yeah right, Okay, So I've worked
- 30:33Speaker 5: at a pub in my day, and you.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Know, I certainly love a bit of bar action.
- 30:37Speaker 2: So yeah, I like to pour a few beersies, and.
- 30:40Speaker 5: I know you like to. But do you know you've
- 30:41Speaker 5: got experience? Oh hell, yes, you've worked at a bar,
- 30:45Speaker 5: bloody oats? Yes or no? Because I feel like you're
- 30:49Speaker 5: just lying.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Wow, bloody oats is an emphatic he is.
- 30:52Speaker 5: What was the name of the bar?
- 30:53Speaker 4: What's that? The mutineers?
- 30:57Speaker 5: The mutineers? Really?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yes?
- 30:58Speaker 5: Where was that?
- 31:00Speaker 2: Well it's not there anymore, unfortunately, okay, and the describe
- 31:08Speaker 2: that country called again now now but anyway.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, right, okay, right, so you know how about
- 31:14Speaker 3: you know your old.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Yeah on an angle?
- 31:17Speaker 4: Yes, you gotta get a nice head on it.
- 31:19Speaker 5: How much here do you want?
- 31:22Speaker 4: I like a lot of.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Head, but see, you know you don't want you don't
- 31:26Speaker 2: want to have too much head.
- 31:28Speaker 3: See that's the thing is I also quite like a
- 31:32Speaker 3: large amount of head because what I like to do
- 31:35Speaker 3: is drink through it.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't want to get to the main events
- 31:38Speaker 5: sometimes though, right, yeah, but you will though, You've just
- 31:41Speaker 5: got to drink through it. And what they're having a
- 31:43Speaker 5: large amount of.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Head does is it like it sort of holds the
- 31:48Speaker 3: freshness and the crispness of the pint.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Well, how much heare do you like?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Well?
- 31:53Speaker 5: Look, I like I'm not a verse two head. And
- 31:57Speaker 5: the reason for that, Keezy is the because the whole
- 32:02Speaker 5: idea is to get all of the eff a vescent
- 32:05Speaker 5: out of the beer. Yeah, So that's what that is
- 32:07Speaker 5: is because if you don't get that out, because a
- 32:10Speaker 5: lot of people will pour a beer and they don't
- 32:11Speaker 5: like any head at all. Some people don't like any head,
- 32:15Speaker 5: absolutely mad. But what happens is when you you pour
- 32:19Speaker 5: a beer like that and there's no head and you
- 32:20Speaker 5: put you scullet back there and it all sits in
- 32:23Speaker 5: your stomach. With all that, those bubbles have got to
- 32:25Speaker 5: come out. So the point of pouring a beer and
- 32:27Speaker 5: getting that head going, big head, tons of head is
- 32:31Speaker 5: to get rid of all of those bubbles so it
- 32:33Speaker 5: doesn't go into your stomach. That's the point. So head
- 32:35Speaker 5: is actually a good thing. Well, it's a great thing
- 32:39Speaker 5: far that's interesting.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, But that's the thing though, right because if we're
- 32:44Speaker 3: the ones serving it and we're giving people like giant head,
- 32:48Speaker 3: you know, like, what if do I ask them if
- 32:50Speaker 3: they want head? Maybe that's what I don't just get.
- 32:52Speaker 5: It's just standard that everyone expects head.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, okay, I'll make sure that they don't
- 32:57Speaker 3: get it.
- 32:57Speaker 5: They're human. Yeah, I'll make sure I give out a
- 32:59Speaker 5: decent ahead.
- 33:00Speaker 2: You will be well, I mean, if you want to
- 33:02Speaker 2: get ready specific you and ask them how much head
- 33:04Speaker 2: they want.
- 33:05Speaker 4: But I mean you're right, Jimmily. They trust the barman to,
- 33:08Speaker 4: you know.
- 33:09Speaker 5: Give them the right amount of head.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Give them the right amount of head.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Well tonedaberfs dot co dot is it.
- 33:14Speaker 3: If you'd like tickets, you can join us tomorrow afternoon
- 33:17Speaker 3: at the Emerson's Tent.
- 33:20Speaker 5: It's gonna be great. Guys. I can't wait. I think
- 33:23Speaker 5: I might be at the front of the queue.
- 33:26Speaker 3: You're going first, Gezy, I don't know what you mean
- 33:30Speaker 3: what you're going guys, lit Nevada.
- 33:33Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Green Day. There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 33:40Speaker 2: Tuesday afternoon. The time is five forty nine.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Fellas.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Last night I was in bed with the wife. Oh yes,
- 33:50Speaker 3: and I was lying on my Sharkti mat, which is
- 33:52Speaker 3: like a bed of spikes.
- 33:54Speaker 4: You put that in the bed.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I put it on the bed and then I lie
- 33:56Speaker 3: on it for about thirty minutes and it helps in
- 33:58Speaker 3: my lower back pain.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Do you have bed paint? Yeah, I've got a fractioned vertebrae.
- 34:03Speaker 3: You And anyway, so I'm lying on the Shakti mat
- 34:07Speaker 3: watching something on my laptop. The air got my headphones
- 34:09Speaker 3: on nude.
- 34:11Speaker 5: Because I sleep mode.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Right, that's great.
- 34:13Speaker 5: My wife. My wife comes and she's wearing a kimono. Hallo,
- 34:18Speaker 5: now okay.
- 34:20Speaker 3: But she's wearing a kimono and she goes to she's
- 34:22Speaker 3: it's a bit stuffy and I might open the window.
- 34:25Speaker 3: So she pulls back the curtain, the wall curtain, and
- 34:33Speaker 3: she goes to open the window and screams straight away, right.
- 34:40Speaker 5: She's saw a reflection of your downstairs in the window.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Oh no, no, it wasn't that. That has happened though.
- 34:47Speaker 2: No.
- 34:47Speaker 3: A giant bug fell down onto the floor and like
- 34:51Speaker 3: sort of ran like quite quickly.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Yeah, they are quicks. Freaked her out.
- 34:56Speaker 3: She's like, you have to get up right now, and
- 34:57Speaker 3: you have to get that thing out of here. And
- 34:59Speaker 3: I was like, don't you know, it's just a cockroach
- 35:01Speaker 3: or like a little spider or something, you know, And
- 35:04Speaker 3: then she's like, no, you have to get it.
- 35:05Speaker 5: So I get off my mat.
- 35:06Speaker 3: I've been on there about twenty minutes anyway, so it's
- 35:08Speaker 3: probably time to get off. And I'm butt naked, remember,
- 35:12Speaker 3: I walk around forget.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Have a look. I rock around and have a look,
- 35:15Speaker 5: and I'm butt ass naked.
- 35:18Speaker 3: And then I pulled back the wall curtain and it's
- 35:22Speaker 3: a giant witter, like a huge witter. And I haven't
- 35:26Speaker 3: seen a whitter in ages, but they are scary looking
- 35:28Speaker 3: bastards like that, quite big, and they've got fans and
- 35:30Speaker 3: they're all spiky and horrible. And I was like, wow, okay,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I was just gonna grab it. But we're just bite you,
- 35:35Speaker 3: I think, or they sting you or something. They stab you.
- 35:38Speaker 5: That's the one you.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah, And so I did the old get a glass
- 35:42Speaker 3: and put the paper underneath it. Put it in the glass,
- 35:45Speaker 3: paper underneath, and I had to go on my knees
- 35:48Speaker 3: used too, because it was down quite low.
- 35:50Speaker 5: I was down at all fours.
- 35:54Speaker 3: And so I've got it in this glass with this
- 35:55Speaker 3: piece of paper, and she's like, what are you going
- 35:57Speaker 3: to do with it?
- 35:57Speaker 5: And I was like, I'm gonna go free it. I'm
- 35:59Speaker 5: gonna go throw it outside. I'm not kill it, you know.
- 36:01Speaker 5: So open the back door.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Oh.
- 36:03Speaker 3: I go to open the back door and I'm like,
- 36:05Speaker 3: can you turn the light the hallway light off first,
- 36:06Speaker 3: because the neighbors will be able to see right now
- 36:08Speaker 3: that he's a naked man holding a glass with a
- 36:10Speaker 3: wetter in it. So she turns off the light. I
- 36:12Speaker 3: go out the back door. She's like, can you drop
- 36:14Speaker 3: it far away from the house. So I walk deep
- 36:16Speaker 3: into the yard and then open the glass drop the
- 36:20Speaker 3: wetter and then she closes the door, locks it and
- 36:22Speaker 3: turns the outside light on. And I'm just standing there like,
- 36:30Speaker 3: and everyone's up late because it's guy fawks, and I'm
- 36:33Speaker 3: just like, okay, well play this is very funny. But
- 36:36Speaker 3: I did just kind of save the day, you know,
- 36:38Speaker 3: can you please let me in?
- 36:42Speaker 5: But I thought it was funny. That was a pretty
- 36:43Speaker 5: funny prank. It was funny. That's good stuff from me. Yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 5: it was. It was I was actually I was proud.
- 36:50Speaker 5: I was like, it's actually really really fun Was it
- 36:51Speaker 5: a prank? Or did she honestly she'd seen enough of
- 36:54Speaker 5: your naked body for the night.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I think she wanted me and the disgusting bug out
- 36:58Speaker 3: of the house. Yeah.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Thanks spellers.
- 37:06Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 37:09Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Welcome back him as the backbones over your Thursday night's
- 37:14Speaker 2: going along very nicely. You're listening to The Big Show
- 37:17Speaker 2: brought to you by Reber.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Gear craveworthy street food freshly made with you bier gear.
- 37:23Speaker 5: God's boss Rolling.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Up Pugs hates their one. Yeah, he hates it. He
- 37:37Speaker 3: shakes his head every time every time I play it.
- 37:39Speaker 3: But I really like it.
- 37:41Speaker 2: It's okay, man, Speaking of dinner, what are you fellas
- 37:43Speaker 2: having for dinner tonight?
- 37:45Speaker 5: I don't know. Actually it's a surprise.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Okay, what about you?
- 37:51Speaker 2: Keasy?
- 37:52Speaker 5: My wife's actually got a work event tonight.
- 37:53Speaker 2: God, Je's out a lot at the moment of the week,
- 37:56Speaker 2: every night of the week.
- 37:57Speaker 3: It would seem, well, it's a work event, so she'll
- 37:59Speaker 3: be having about nine thirty ten. Yeah, so it's all
- 38:03Speaker 3: Keezy on his own tonight. It again, I am going
- 38:07Speaker 3: to get a pizza.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Get a pizza, send a few texts on your TV remote.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Happy days, man, that is a callback.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Funnily enough, I'm having pizza tonight as well, homemade. My
- 38:17Speaker 2: wife makes a very very good dough.
- 38:21Speaker 5: I'll got the rest of us shocking. Well, No, we
- 38:24Speaker 5: have a deal.
- 38:24Speaker 2: We have a deal. She does the dough and we
- 38:26Speaker 2: make our own pizzas, all right. I make my own
- 38:28Speaker 2: sauce because I'm very like like my olives, anchovies, my chili,
- 38:34Speaker 2: my prescuto. She chucks all sorts of stuff on. Here
- 38:42Speaker 2: is broccoli, yum. You know Green's staff rocket, Yeah, a
- 38:48Speaker 2: little bit of rocket, a noise, Colie Flower tofu.
- 38:54Speaker 4: It works well.
- 38:55Speaker 3: To be honest, I'm not going to make my pizza.
- 38:57Speaker 3: I'm going to buy a pizza. I was gonna get
- 38:59Speaker 3: reburg However, I believe we're getting Reburger tomorrow.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Down and Donna's sounds like.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Canada Pada that twice in twenty four hours.
- 39:08Speaker 5: A good question.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Hi, Big Pole coming up next to the results there are
- 39:15Speaker 2: in the meantime, He's rim.
- 39:16Speaker 5: That's a great song.
- 39:17Speaker 3: By the way.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Hey, the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 39:22Speaker 1: Hodarky Cult.
- 39:23Speaker 2: They're on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Tuesday evening.
- 39:27Speaker 2: We're right now it's time for Big Pole.
- 39:37Speaker 3: That's right, Today's big poll up on the Hockey Big Show.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Instagram story private sale of fireworks in New Zealand, Yes
- 39:45Speaker 3: or no? And mag you brought this one to the
- 39:47Speaker 3: four Yeah, I.
- 39:48Speaker 5: Did, mate, mainly because yesterday was guy Fawks, and also
- 39:53Speaker 5: because there was a political party that's come out and
- 39:55Speaker 5: said that at the next election they're going to be
- 39:57Speaker 5: campaigning on this bastard hard getting rid of they want
- 40:01Speaker 5: to get rid of fireworks. I say it's been going
- 40:03Speaker 5: on long enough and it's time to get them out
- 40:05Speaker 5: of this country. Unless it's a public display, people are
- 40:08Speaker 5: going to be pretty passionate about it, going to get
- 40:10Speaker 5: them lining up down there at the poles. So yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 5: we thought we'd run that one and see from a
- 40:15Speaker 5: personal point of view as somebody who's been blinded by
- 40:20Speaker 5: a skyrocket before as a result of misuse of fireworks
- 40:23Speaker 5: from a drunken son of a bee. And that's not
- 40:26Speaker 5: an exaggeration. You're blind blind. When I was aiding, I
- 40:29Speaker 5: got hit in the eye with the skyrocket by a
- 40:31Speaker 5: drunk mate who was pointing at my head. Lull.
- 40:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:37Speaker 5: I think my biggest problem with them is that they suck. Now, yeah, now,
- 40:40Speaker 5: if there are skyrockets, which of course caused the most fires,
- 40:43Speaker 5: and so you can understand why they're band but also
- 40:45Speaker 5: the little double happies, little little dynamites that used to
- 40:48Speaker 5: have again and then Tom Thunder love that they were
- 40:51Speaker 5: so much fun. Now we're a dangerous one hundred percent,
- 40:54Speaker 5: so you can see why they have been banned as well.
- 40:56Speaker 5: But you know, I don't know, let's get rid of
- 40:59Speaker 5: a lot of fun. We've got a lot of fun.
- 41:02Speaker 2: You know, on the other side of it too. You know,
- 41:04Speaker 2: hospitals must love guy, they must go good times. Here
- 41:08Speaker 2: we go.
- 41:09Speaker 5: I'll tell you what's interesting. One of the main arguments
- 41:11Speaker 5: here is the reason why you should get rid of
- 41:13Speaker 5: fireworks is because of pitts. Yes, why don't we get
- 41:17Speaker 5: rid of pits? Keep the fireworks?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:20Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, but like pits.
- 41:23Speaker 3: But also I can imagine, like last night, for example,
- 41:25Speaker 3: my wife hates anything loud, right, So if you ride
- 41:28Speaker 3: past on a Harley, or if you if you drive
- 41:31Speaker 3: past a car with an obnoxiously loud exhaust, she will
- 41:33Speaker 3: literally say if off, just out of habit, she.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Can't have it.
- 41:37Speaker 3: So last night we were trying to watch Grand Designs
- 41:40Speaker 3: and a firework went off with our boom and she swore,
- 41:44Speaker 3: and I thought it was funny. Obviously it's the noise, Yes,
- 41:48Speaker 3: she hates the noise.
- 41:49Speaker 5: And the other thing too.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Just quickly, if if they say more, you know, public
- 41:53Speaker 3: displays only, they're gonna have to crank up the amount
- 41:55Speaker 3: of public displays.
- 41:55Speaker 5: It's going to need to be more public displays.
- 41:57Speaker 3: It's going to have to be heaps to them, which
- 41:58Speaker 3: I'd be all for if they were like, yeah, now
- 42:00Speaker 3: we're going to heaps the public displays.
- 42:01Speaker 5: They're all going to be great. But it's I it's
- 42:03Speaker 5: Guy Forks. It's one. You have one on Guy Forks tonight,
- 42:05Speaker 5: and it's a lot. Yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 2: What really gets on my goat is the before and
- 42:09Speaker 2: after people were letting them off three days before and
- 42:11Speaker 2: four days after, even more than that.
- 42:14Speaker 5: And you do get You get your Chinese New Year,
- 42:16Speaker 5: you get your Dwali, you get your New Years. So
- 42:19Speaker 5: there's there's plenty of If you're frothen that hard about it.
- 42:21Speaker 5: You can find fireworks displays wherever you're like.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Also, you can type in fireworks on YouTube and you
- 42:26Speaker 3: can watch fireworks.
- 42:28Speaker 5: So good.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Would you like to guess what the result of the
- 42:30Speaker 3: big pol is because it's an interesting one.
- 42:34Speaker 2: No?
- 42:36Speaker 4: Is it getting rid of No?
- 42:38Speaker 5: Are you in favor of them? Yes?
- 42:39Speaker 2: Or no? Okay? Yees?
- 42:41Speaker 4: Sixty percent?
- 42:42Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, sixty five.
- 42:43Speaker 3: It's actually no fifty three percent. So people want yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 3: people want more. People want to get rid of them,
- 42:52Speaker 3: but only just it's like fifty to fifty.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Right, So yeah, that's what I meant by a year.
- 42:57Speaker 5: My thing was I think more people won't want to
- 42:59Speaker 5: get to them, was what I was saying. Oh yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 5: what you mean, James, do you think people wanted to
- 43:05Speaker 5: keep them?
- 43:06Speaker 4: I wanted to keep them.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, cool, Okay, it's changing.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Yeah. They ran one in one of the on one
- 43:15Speaker 5: of the news sites that it was like eighty five
- 43:17Speaker 5: percent wanted to get rid of it.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah, news sites, it's just the old people.
- 43:21Speaker 5: You can't believe new sites. Where was the big show,
- 43:23Speaker 5: Big Pole, That's where you get you in your true data.
- 43:27Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 43:30Speaker 1: in four on Radio.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Holky Sound Garden. There on the radio Darchy Big Show
- 43:36Speaker 2: this Thursday evening.
- 43:37Speaker 4: I feelers.
- 43:37Speaker 5: I don't know if it's the.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Same for you, but when I see a sunny day,
- 43:40Speaker 2: it makes me think of cricket. And when I think
- 43:42Speaker 2: of cricket, I think of the Black Clash.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Well, the Black Clash is probably the greatest New Zealand
- 43:49Speaker 5: cross code rivalry of all time.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I would say, oh, I would agree with that.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I would say, so what about like, you know, Canterbury
- 43:55Speaker 3: versus Auckland cross cover?
- 43:58Speaker 5: What does cross code mean? Rugby cricket. Ah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Oh then a hard out yeah, and we're doing it.
- 44:09Speaker 5: I think it's a six or seventh iteration coming up,
- 44:13Speaker 5: certainly the seventeenth of January twenty twenty six this year.
- 44:16Speaker 5: It's at Bay Oval and tote on it. Yes, and
- 44:18Speaker 5: you could normally turn about, isn't it. Keysy you go,
- 44:20Speaker 5: you Christ Jude, you go, You're toad on there normally
- 44:23Speaker 5: the two places that you can rely on to have
- 44:25Speaker 5: beautiful weather, and so far that's proven to be the case.
- 44:28Speaker 5: Hasn't rained one.
- 44:28Speaker 2: It's been amazing. Actually, there's been times where it's like, oh,
- 44:31Speaker 2: she's looking a bit dicey today and Hoody Jay's been going, yeah,
- 44:33Speaker 2: I don't have to commentate, and then it's a beautiful day.
- 44:36Speaker 5: Jason.
- 44:36Speaker 3: It's a massive honor that you get to do that.
- 44:38Speaker 3: And if you're going to take it for granted and
- 44:40Speaker 3: hope that it gets canceled, man, I think you should
- 44:42Speaker 3: maybe hand the reins over to someone else.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Okay, can I do it? Yes?
- 44:45Speaker 5: I don't know anything about cricket.
- 44:47Speaker 2: There you go, hey, but listen, you need to be
- 44:50Speaker 2: a part of it because it is. It is a
- 44:52Speaker 2: great occasion. Genuinely, people it's just it's basically just a
- 44:55Speaker 2: big party, isn't it feels.
- 44:56Speaker 3: It's a giant party. Black klasstal Coto ins it if
- 44:58Speaker 3: you'd like to get your tickets. As mentioned January seventeenth
- 45:01Speaker 3: and Totunger, there is the acc Export Ultra party zone.
- 45:04Speaker 3: That is the sort of the vibes are on in
- 45:06Speaker 3: that zone. Let's just say that last year was absolutely heaving.
- 45:10Speaker 3: It's going to be happening again. And the Darky Spot
- 45:13Speaker 3: is going to be right in front of that party zone,
- 45:15Speaker 3: right on the boundary. And you and to mate can
- 45:16Speaker 3: want a chance to sit up close to the action

- 45:35Speaker 5: good my brother.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I think my brother's going to be there better, but
- 45:38Speaker 2: he'll probably be on duty as a copper.
- 45:40Speaker 5: We threw him a couple of years ago. Actually, yeah, yeah, he's.
- 45:43Speaker 4: A unit, isn't he.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah he's a big boy, well compared to you. Sure well,
- 45:46Speaker 2: everyone's a unit compared to me.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Also with noting that Michael Hussey mister cricket from Australia. Yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 5: he'll be attending sort of in that Brian Lara sort
- 45:55Speaker 5: of shoes of years gone by. I don't imagine Hausey
- 45:58Speaker 5: will be as hand that as Lara was as much
- 46:00Speaker 5: of a disappointment. So he'll be over there playing for
- 46:03Speaker 5: Team Rugby alongside Captain Kieran Reid and of course Joey Wheeler,
- 46:07Speaker 5: the Mad Dog and h great players all across the board.

- 46:27Speaker 2: Bick there on the Radio Hodarkey Big Show this Thursday evening.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Now found us.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I've started doing something a little bit different in the
- 46:34Speaker 2: shower and I want to pass it on to you
- 46:37Speaker 2: because it's absolutely magnificent.
- 46:39Speaker 4: And what I do.
- 46:40Speaker 5: Are you still using your stool?
- 46:42Speaker 4: Oh no, I got rid of the stool, keezy.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 4: But what I've been doing, and because I've heard this
- 46:48Speaker 4: before people have.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Told me about it, is turning my shower to cold
- 46:53Speaker 2: about twenty or thirty seconds before I get out. Really,
- 46:57Speaker 2: because apparently that's really good for your health.
- 47:00Speaker 5: What part of your health?
- 47:01Speaker 2: It improves your circulation, Oh yes, it boosts your mood,
- 47:05Speaker 2: it reduces muscle soreness, it's really good for your skin
- 47:09Speaker 2: and hair, right, okay, and all sorts of other benefits.
- 47:13Speaker 2: And you know, people have told me about it before,
- 47:16Speaker 2: and it's really good for your heart apparently.
- 47:18Speaker 5: Because Mogi, don't you do saunas and ice bars and stuff.
- 47:21Speaker 5: I have done them. I don't do them only because
- 47:23Speaker 5: they're not available to me. But yeah, yeah, I don't
- 47:26Speaker 5: know what the gaps is with it. I think it's
- 47:27Speaker 5: more of a I mean, yeah, I think it's a
- 47:29Speaker 5: discipline thing certainly, and if you can do it, you
- 47:31Speaker 5: just I don't know how much good it actually does,
- 47:33Speaker 5: but there's certainly research that sit well, there's a lot
- 47:36Speaker 5: of people on Instagram that Saunds.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Good.
- 47:37Speaker 4: Yeah, well totally.
- 47:38Speaker 2: So I thought i'd give it a bit of a
- 47:39Speaker 2: nudge and I did it yesterday. I had an early
- 47:42Speaker 2: start because I was filming, and I went, well, here
- 47:45Speaker 2: we go, here we go, and I turned it really
- 47:48Speaker 2: cold with about thirty seconds to go, and it was
- 47:51Speaker 2: amazing and it was invigorating. But one thing that did happen,
- 47:55Speaker 2: which I wasn't expecting was it gave me a stiffy.
- 48:00Speaker 2: A stiffy, right, And I don't know, I mean, because
- 48:06Speaker 2: have you guys ever done that, because I don't know
- 48:07Speaker 2: if that is that.
- 48:08Speaker 5: A normal thing, getting a stiffy.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Get what you know, getting a stiffy in that situation,
- 48:12Speaker 2: because it wasn't at that point. It was only when
- 48:15Speaker 2: I turned it the cold and I went, hello, stiffy, magie.
- 48:20Speaker 3: You're probably better suited to chatting about this one because
- 48:23Speaker 3: that's never happened to me, Jason.
- 48:24Speaker 4: But do you tune your shower to cold?
- 48:25Speaker 3: Though?
- 48:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the thing. Well, I don't get that in
- 48:30Speaker 5: the shower, but certainly when I'm having an ice bath.
- 48:33Speaker 4: You get a stiffy.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, well that's comforting, or you get it in
- 48:37Speaker 2: the spar as well.
- 48:39Speaker 5: Yeah, any kind of swimming pools or any kind of water.
- 48:42Speaker 3: What about when you're just like washing your hands or
- 48:43Speaker 3: doing dishes? Yeah, is it contact with water?
- 48:46Speaker 5: I'm washing the car Okay, but I think that's the SuDS. Yeah, right, okay,
- 48:51Speaker 5: that dirty water and the dirty muck water, the dirty
- 48:55Speaker 5: dirty Right's got his own thing going on.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I just I was wondering about that and if anyone
- 49:02Speaker 2: else has had that experience.
- 49:04Speaker 5: Become I mean, everyone's different. I was taken it back
- 49:07Speaker 5: because you haven't had one of those years, have you?
